00:00:00.000 victory is the 10th noble virtue. And I, I got to take responsibility for that. That one,
00:00:07.560 that one's mine. That's all you that I threw on the list. And here, here are my thoughts on it
00:00:13.740 for a couple of reasons. I like that it comes at the end of the list of virtues, because the idea
00:00:21.060 being, if you embody those virtues, they should lead towards a goal of being victorious. But the
00:00:28.100 The other thing that I think is lost on people in the modern era, and I think is very important
00:00:35.040 to us, is that victory in and of itself was seen by our ancestors and should be seen by
00:00:41.260 us as virtuous.
00:00:49.600 an authentically religious worldview, your success is a
00:00:55.920 measure of to a degree, your righteousness or your blessings
00:01:02.500 by the gods. Our ancestors always look towards a person that
00:01:08.840 was favored by the gods or a group of people that appeared
00:01:11.980 favored by the gods, because of their continued and perhaps
00:01:17.080 conspicuous victories and successes. The quality of having victory itself be a sign of virtue
00:01:26.700 is, I mean, it's inherent to all Aryan cultures that I can recall. That's why we celebrate
00:01:36.380 champions and heroes. And that was a mark of a person's worthiness to lead in many instances
00:01:46.880 in our ancestors' time? Was that faith placed in their ability to carry something through and to
00:01:53.280 find success in it? And success is often a sign of favor from the gods. And it's also, you know,
00:02:01.880 determined by people's persistence and their commitment to a goal at all costs,
00:02:08.000 to making things happen and to eking out victories where others would turn back.
00:02:13.840 and that's why it's so important one of the reasons that I felt it was important to add it
00:02:18.940 on there and to talk about it as much as I do is I think that our folk in this day and age have
00:02:26.820 to a large degree lost sight of thinking about winning I think that a lot of our people are
00:02:35.000 very very discouraged and they don't look at the world in terms of what they can achieve what they
00:02:41.360 can accomplish what we together can achieve and accomplish.
00:02:45.120 We need to fix that.
00:02:46.880 So that focus on victory, I think,
00:02:48.640 is really important to us, and it's
00:02:50.060 the reason I put it on that list.
