00:00:41.360 once there was a boy named Nicky who wanted his new mittens made from wool as white as snow

00:00:50.960 there's Nicky he's so excited to be playing in the snow he's jumping up in the air

00:00:56.160 And here we see a lady standing at the spinning wheel and looking through a basket of yarn.

00:01:05.280 At first his grandmother Baba did not want to knit white mittens.

00:01:11.200 If you drop one in the snow, she warned, you'll never find it.

00:01:15.760 But Nikki wanted snow white mittens and finally Baba made them.

00:04:29.420 When he decided to move in also, the mole, the rabbit, and the hedgehog grumbled.

00:04:36.260 but when they saw the owl's glinty talons they quickly let him in we can see the hedgehog's

00:04:44.980 prickles sticking out through the mitten there along comes the owl the mole the rabbit and

00:04:53.380 the hedgehog look very skeptical and it looks like the rabbit's got his paw in the hedgehog's face

00:05:08.820 up through the snow appeared a badger he eyed the mitten and began to climb in

00:05:15.380 the mole the rabbit the hedgehog and the owl were not pleased

00:05:29.540 Look at the rabbit and the mole, they're looking at each other, and they do not look

00:05:46.640 It started snowing, but the animals were snug in the mitten.

00:05:51.080 A waft of warm steam rose in the air, and a fox trotting by stopped to investigate.

00:06:06.420 the rabbit, the hedgehog, the owl, and the badger saw his shiny teeth, they gave the fox lots of room.

00:06:17.140 Look how big that mitten is getting. Here we have the badger's rear end and the rabbit's ears. We

00:06:25.820 see the fox looking there, or excuse me, the owl. And here's

00:06:31.340 the fox's nose. And here are the hedgehog's prickles again.

00:06:37.220 There's Nikki. Look how much fun he's having. He's sliding down

00:06:48.560 A great bear lumbered by. He spied the mitten all plumped up. Not being one to be left out in the

00:06:58.980 cold, he began to nose his way in. The animals were packed in as tightly as could be, but what

00:07:07.040 animal would argue with a bear? The mitten swelled and stretched. It was pulled and bulged to many

00:07:15.200 times its size but baba's good knitting held fast

00:08:08.360 it looks like he might have realized that he's dropped his mitten uh-oh baba's not going to be

00:08:29.560 gave an enormous sneeze ah ah ah the force of the sneeze shot the mitten up into the sky

00:08:42.520 and scattered the animals in all directions i like this picture a lot all the animals are flying up

00:08:49.880 into the sky the poor owl has dropped a feather the fox is upside down and he's got his tongue

00:08:58.600 hanging out the bear he's sneezing and he's gonna land on his behind we have the the badger almost

00:09:08.440 looks like he's trying to cover his eyes he doesn't want to see when he's falling

00:09:14.360 and here's nikki do you think he's looking for his mitten

00:09:17.400 on his way home Nicky saw a white shape in the distance it was the lost mitten silhouetted 0.84

00:09:43.740 and look at all the animals have landed in the snow. The poor fox landed with his tail between

00:09:52.580 his legs. The badger has got his face in the snow. We see the hedgehog's prickles and the rabbit's

00:10:01.300 tail. As he ran to catch his snow white mitten, he saw Baba's face in the window. First she looked

00:10:13.740 to see if he was safe and sound and then she saw that he still had his new mittens
