Bannon's War Room - Episode 2063： Grenell, Gaetz, Devine： The Administrative State Has Been Weaponized Against The American People; We Are Witnessing A Craven Attack Against Trump And MAGA

00:00:01.000 We are at war. We're at a political and ideological war.

00:00:07.000 You can say anything else you want about it, but we're at war.

00:00:13.000 We've allowed the progressive left through the building of the administrative state over the last 50 or 60 years

00:00:19.000 and making it impervious to elections to build an authoritarian state that has now merged with big tech and big media and big pharma

00:00:29.000 to form a Chinese communist model of an authoritarian state. That's what we have.

00:00:34.000 Our responsibility, our duty, our mandate, our destiny in this time in history is quite simple.

00:00:40.000 We have to take that on and take it apart brick by brick and don't think it's going to be easy.

00:00:45.000 The easiest victories we've had are behind us. The easiest things we've done are behind us.

00:00:50.000 They are going to come after you like they came after Carrie Lake and they came after Mike Lindell.

00:00:55.000 OK, if you are at the forefront of this movement, look at what they're doing to President Trump.

00:01:01.000 They understand they can't beat him at the ballot box. They can't beat his energy.

00:01:05.000 They can't beat his vision. They're coming after him with a death by a thousand cuts legally.

00:01:10.000 Right. They're trying to put him in jail to make sure he cannot run again in 2024 and be the rightful president.

00:01:18.000 He should be right now. Welcome. You're in the war room.

00:01:25.000 It's Tuesday, 9 August, the year of our Lord, 2022.

00:01:28.000 And there are, you know, no conspiracies, but no coincidences.

00:01:33.000 This is the yesterday and today, the anniversary of Richard Nixon resigning his presidency, which they timed this all around.

00:01:39.000 OK, today, that was my speech at CPAC on Friday night.

00:01:43.000 And like I said, this thing is not that difficult to think through.

00:01:45.000 You know exactly what they're going to do.

00:01:47.000 So today we've lined up nothing but killers, people born for this fight.

00:01:51.000 We have Ambassador Rick Grinnell, Congressman Matt Gates, Miranda Devine from the New York Post.

00:01:57.000 We have Matt Schlapp from CPAC, Russ Vogt, Peter Navarro, Steve Cortez, the great Joe Kent, also Boris Epstein and many others.

00:02:05.000 Today at five o'clock, we're going to have Carrie Lake tee off. 1.00

00:02:07.000 We're going to have a whole new group at five and at six.

00:02:09.000 I want to start with Congressman Matt Gates joins us by phone.

00:02:13.000 Congressman Gates, give us your assessment of what went down yesterday.

00:02:17.000 And where do we stand this morning, sir?

00:02:19.000 Well, they couldn't beat Trump at the ballot box in 2016.

00:02:23.000 So they tried with impeachment and the witness box that failed.

00:02:28.000 So then they ran to the mailbox in the 2020 election.

00:02:32.000 And now they've literally shown up at President Trump's home to take his boxes.

00:02:37.000 This was not law enforcement activity, Steve.

00:02:40.000 This was a performance.

00:02:42.000 It was a political performance.

00:02:44.000 Over 30 FBI agents heavily armed.

00:02:48.000 The circle around President Trump's beautiful American flag at Mar-a-Lago.

00:02:52.000 Filled up with black SUVs.

00:02:55.000 They rented a rider truck so that people with guns could jump out of the back of it.

00:03:00.000 There was even a tense standoff at the beginning of this raid because there were folks at the Secret Service who were wondering whether or not there even was a warrant.

00:03:09.000 When lawyers began asking if they could see the warrant, there was initially reticence on the part of the FBI to even show it.

00:03:16.000 They just wanted to storm the place like the East German Stasi.

00:03:20.000 You know, this is, in my opinion, the most defining moment of the Joe Biden presidency.

00:03:27.000 Before this, it would have been Afghanistan, but other American presidents have failed withdrawals.

00:03:32.000 Here, you have something no other American president has ever done.

00:03:37.000 It is laughable, the reports out of the White House, that they were not involved in this decision.

00:03:42.000 Of course they were.

00:03:43.000 And here's why.

00:03:44.000 The Democrats have got their polling back on the Inflation Reduction Act, and they know it's a total zero.

00:03:50.000 At the same time, they see that we are closing in on Hunter Biden with all of the records we already have from the laptop.

00:03:58.000 And they see the political winds at our back where we're going to be able to pull those investigative threads with subpoena power, with in-depth depositions, with all of the investigative tools we would have in the majority that we don't have now.

00:04:11.000 Now, they see that President Trump has a job approval in the 80s right now, about to announce his campaign.

00:04:18.000 And so they're trying to create this air of criminality around him, but I really don't think it'll work. 0.65

00:04:24.000 So if that's the diagnosis, my assessment is the antidote has to be not one more damn penny for this administrative state that has been weaponized against our people in a very fascist way.

00:04:37.000 You know, they want to, you know, ensure that they centralize this power.

00:04:43.000 And so it's my perspective that if they want to limit the choices of voters with this performative activity, then we ought to limit the resources that they have to be able to execute on it.

00:04:55.000 I have never seen a coalescing of the Republicans like I've seen over the last 24 hours.

00:05:01.000 I mean, you've got people who don't even like Trump, like Asa Hutchinson, the governor of Arkansas, people all over this country.

00:05:07.000 I've had so many moderates and centrists in the Congress texting me saying, we are ready for this battle.

00:05:13.000 Let us put on the armor of God and go fight.

00:05:16.000 So this is a terrible day for America.

00:05:19.000 It's a terrible day for Joe Biden.

00:05:21.000 But I actually think, Steve, we're going to look back at this as a galvanizing moment for our movement, because now we see clearly what the fight is and what we have to do about it.

00:05:32.000 Matt, Matt, hang on for one second. Do I have Ambassador Grinnell ready? Let's go to, I want to bring Ambassador Grinnell for just a minute, Congressman Gates.

00:05:40.000 Ambassador Grinnell, can we have your, you're one of the closest senior people to President Trump.

00:05:45.000 You've been in many of the fights with us. Give us your perspective, sir.

00:05:48.000 Well, he's stronger this morning. There's no question about it. I agree with Matt there.

00:05:53.000 People are seeing this very clearly.

00:05:56.000 I think that, you know, when you look across the spectrum of the United States, first and second generation Americans, which traditionally have not voted for Republicans, have overwhelmingly raised their voice of concern.

00:06:12.000 They're like the canaries in the coal mine. First and second generation Americans are seeing what is happening to this country and coming over to conservative principles and voting Republican like never before.

00:06:23.000 They understand this because they left fascism and totalitarianism. They know this.

00:06:30.000 Steve, I worked at the State Department for 11 years, as you know, and when we see this type of political prosecution going against your political enemies to try to get them to not run, we usually put it in the human rights report.

00:06:45.000 We condemn it at the State Department. We call it out. Sometimes these other countries suffer in their relationship with the United States.

00:06:52.000 I never thought that I would see this in America, but this is happening. And I think very clearly, I see very clearly that Americans across the spectrum, left, right and center, are very concerned at the authoritarianism of this left wing administration.

00:07:14.000 And this is a terrible precedent. And this is a terrible precedent for people like Susan Rice, for people like Ron Klain.

00:07:21.000 They have to be looking at this and saying, but this is a terrible precedent. I hope that we can dial this back somehow. But make no mistake, conservatives, Republicans, Trump supporters, they are all totally focused.

00:07:38.000 They're geared up. I'll finish with this. You're listening to War Room right now. Gone is the day where you get to just listen to a whole bunch of other people talk about fighting.

00:07:49.000 If you are not gearing up to fight yourself, bring your strong voice to social media. Maybe you have to write a bigger check. But every single person listening to this War Room broadcast right now has to ask themselves on a daily basis, what are you doing to save this country?

00:08:09.000 It is no longer appropriate to sit back and hope that someone else does something.

00:08:14.000 That's perfect. That's why I wanted to have this. The people we have on today are the leaders of this fight, but we're all in this fight.

00:08:21.720 That's what this is an activist show. I want everybody to talk about that in a little while.

00:08:26.000 But Ambassador Grinnell is right. Before I go back to Congressman Gates, Ambassador, you were selected.

00:08:31.520 You've 11 years in the State Department. You were selected by Trump to be ambassador to Germany.

00:08:34.920 And then he brought you back. One of the things you did, you were the interim head, the director of national intelligence.

00:08:40.360 I think one of the things that are most shocking to the average citizen is to see the FBI and the national security state do this.

00:08:47.780 What's your perspective? I mean, we talk about the administrative state.

00:08:51.220 You just heard Congressman Gates give the details of actually storming Mar-a-Lago, the president's historic winter address that is just so iconic throughout the globe.

00:09:03.480 And given the fact that you've been in the apparatus, how could they even thinking, how could they even think to do this, sir?

00:09:11.820 Well, it's clearly to me through my experience at D&I that this is about the leadership of the FBI and DOJ.

00:09:18.900 I have too much experience with trying to declassify or unredact information that I was told originally was redacted by FBI agents.

00:09:32.560 And when I sought out who those particular people were and I went and I looked them in the eye and I said, why did you classify this?

00:09:41.660 Why is it redacted? Why do you think this is a source or a method?

00:09:44.960 That they looked at me and said, actually, I don't believe that even though my name is on it.

00:09:50.820 My bosses did that. That was done at a higher level.

00:09:55.100 And that's what really empowered me to say that we have a lot of FBI agents who actually are uncomfortable with the leadership.

00:10:04.160 And we have to hold the leadership accountable. This is America. Chris Ray needs to be hauled in front of Congress.

00:10:10.020 I'm tired of Congress talking a big game. They've got to call these people in and use every single tool that they have to put them in a position where they're answering these questions.

00:10:23.320 And maybe we're at the point where we have to start impeaching people.

00:10:27.700 But, you know, I see Steve on the left, a whole bunch of people who are saying, you know, this is justice.

00:10:32.060 This is the American system working. And what they miss, and I think it's very clear what they are missing is the multiple examples of lies that the security state and the DOJ have pushed.

00:10:46.080 I mean, look no further than the FISA warrant that they all were convinced was the truth that turned out to be totally phony and they missed it.

00:10:55.220 Look at the Russian collusion. Look what they've done on Hunter Biden's laptop with big tech completely shutting down anyone that talks about this.

00:11:03.520 What we have a problem in Washington with is the state bureaucracy, big tech, big corporations is trying to crush dissenting voices.

00:11:16.200 And that before I go back to before I go back to Gates for a second, you don't believe you just said you don't think this went all the way up to the White House.

00:11:24.080 You don't believe the chief of staff, Ron Klain, had to sign off on this.

00:11:26.800 Do you think you believe that Merrick Garland was Merrick Garland did not inform the White House and did not go to Ron Klain with at least a heads up or a, hey, you got to sign off on this?

00:11:39.080 So there's no question that there was no sign off. They would keep the White House away from this move.

00:11:44.460 But it depends on what you call inform. You know, you work at the White House, Steve.

00:11:50.660 You know how these things work. Do you do you know about it is one thing.

00:11:56.480 But did you sign off formally is quite another.

00:12:00.560 Congressman Gates, let me bring you in here. I got a lot to do.

00:12:02.800 The whistleblower. I want to ask you to hold through the next break.

00:12:05.620 But your assessment, was this at Merrick Garland level? You think Ron Klain level?

00:12:10.420 Do you think you agree with Ambassador Grinnell that the White House would want to stay as far away from this as possible?

00:12:16.680 I agree with Ambassador Grinnell on most things, but not this one.

00:12:20.900 I do not believe that the Justice Department would feel the agency to define the entire presidency of Joe Biden in such a severe and striking way without getting permission.

00:12:34.320 You know, I've often joked that Joe Biden is captive to the Venezuela wing of the Democratic Party.

00:12:40.640 But when you crush your people with inflation and then investigate your political opponents and raid their homes, you are truly enabling the Venezuelification of the United States of America. 0.91

00:12:54.140 I mean, you know, carjackings in city centers at broad daylight and raids on your political opponents, that's behavior we're used to seeing in the poorest and most desperate countries in the world.

00:13:07.360 And now we are seeing those things in our United States of America.

00:13:11.780 And, you know, Rick Grinnell did make a terrific point about how this is going to be viewed around the world.

00:13:16.880 And one question I would have for Ambassador Grinnell is, will we see this terrible action by the Biden administration used by other fascist totalitarian regimes to justify political violence and suppression of dissent?

00:13:33.240 How could you not see Xi or Putin or Maduro or anyone else saying, well, gosh, yeah, of course I'm investigating someone who might run against me.

00:13:43.020 Of course I'm, you know, using law enforcement for political enforcement because that's what we see Joe Biden doing in the United States of America.

00:13:51.680 Grinnell made another great point about the fact that there are some good people in these agencies.

00:13:57.260 I know that there are war room watchers who are in the FBI and DOJ and they hate what they are seeing to their agency.

00:14:04.760 And I'm telling you, Steve, the explosion of whistleblower activity we are seeing right now is unprecedented in the history of Congress and it is only accelerating.

00:14:15.580 Ambassador Grinnell, could you hold for a few minutes to the break?

00:14:18.040 I've got a couple more questions.

00:14:19.380 We want to get get into you.

00:14:21.020 Ambassador Rick Grinnell joins us.

00:14:23.400 Also, Matt Gaetz, Congressman Matt Gaetz by phone.

00:14:25.580 We're also going to have Miranda Devine, the investigative columnist for The New York Post, who'll join us shortly.

00:14:30.980 She's doing a hit. 0.89

00:14:31.680 She'll come on over at Fox Business.

00:14:33.280 She'll be with us shortly.

00:14:35.660 Matt Schlapp, Russ Vogt, Boris Epstein, Steve Cortez, Dr. Peter Navarro, Joe Kent.

00:14:41.660 Carrie Lake will be up at five o'clock today.

00:14:44.460 Absolutely packed.

00:14:45.440 Ambassador Rick Grinnell, Congressman Matt Gaetz in the war room.

00:14:50.080 Spread the word all through Hong Kong.

00:14:52.640 We will play till they're all gone.

00:14:55.180 We rejoice when there's no more.

00:14:57.080 Let's take down the CCP.

00:14:59.680 You know what's never good?

00:15:00.840 When your nation's supposed authority on economic policy completely misses the flashing red lights of impending inflation.

00:15:09.520 Now, Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen has finally admitted, quote, there's been an unanticipated and large shocks to the economy that have boosted energy and food prices and supply bottlenecks.

00:15:21.380 They're affected our economy badly that I didn't at the time fully understand.

00:15:27.840 End quote.

00:15:28.880 You know who understands the real threat of inflation?

00:15:31.760 People who invested in gold and silver with Birch Gold Group.

00:15:36.120 They're protecting their savings from a highly turbulent economy by diversifying their 401k or IRA into gold, physical gold.

00:16:32.220 War Room.

00:16:33.420 Pandemic.

00:16:34.280 Here's your host, Stephen K.

00:16:36.360 Bannon.

00:16:38.600 Okay, welcome back.

00:16:39.740 It's Tuesday, 9 August, year of our Lord, 2022.

00:16:42.560 A day that will live in infamy was yesterday, the 8th of August, at Mar-a-Lago, an FBI raid on the President of the United States, Donald J.

00:16:50.980 Trump.

00:16:51.260 I want to go back to Ambassador Grinnell.

00:16:52.720 So, Ambassador, there was a big outpouring.

00:16:54.780 There's a news story up on Creative Destruction Media, L.

00:16:57.740 Todd Wood and the team, about an outrage of the Hispanic and Cuban community in South Florida for what they saw, talking about, you know, this reminds them of what they've escaped from. 0.95

00:17:08.260 What's your sense of how this is going to play out, Ambassador Grinnell?

00:17:11.240 Is this going to be a unifying moment for all the conservatives, the MAGA movement, and the Republicans as you see it?

00:17:17.520 Not only conservatives and Republicans, but all first and second generation Americans.

00:17:23.300 Look, we've got a problem in this country with fifth, sixth, seventh generation white liberals who, frankly, haven't traveled the world enough. 0.69

00:17:30.140 They don't understand that America is the greatest place because we have a balanced judicial system.

00:17:36.860 And when first and second generation Americans see this, but let's be clear, Steve, this is not the first time.

00:17:44.040 This is putting a lot more people over the edge.

00:17:47.380 But I've seen in my travels around this country, first and second generation Americans who five, six, seven months ago were watching and seeing this tipping point.

00:17:59.020 They were watching as big tech shut down dissenting voices.

00:18:03.460 And that's what's happening.

00:18:04.680 If you are a dissenting voice, you are being shut down.

00:18:07.920 You know, when I was a young kid, my dad used to say, shut up and sit down and listen.

00:18:13.100 You might learn something. 0.73

00:18:14.040 And I think that's what we have to say to these fifth, sixth, seventh generation white liberals who have taught their kids to put their fingers in their ear and run out of the room when they hear something they don't like.

00:18:25.580 And so what we saw yesterday was a culmination of the deep state coming together and literally pretending like dissenting voices don't exist or needing to be crushed.

00:18:39.580 And that's scary. And I and I see this around the world in my travels around the world.

00:18:44.640 I've been hearing warnings from heads of state, from people in government, from literally other countries that you would be surprised saying, what is happening in America?

00:18:56.000 So I do think that this is a unifying moment, but it's a culmination of what's been happening during the Biden administration.

00:19:02.880 The left is crushing dissent.

00:19:04.960 Ambassador, you talked about getting involved.

00:19:08.760 We know what you're trying to do and turn around California.

00:19:10.880 Can you give your website?

00:19:12.160 How do people get engaged right now?

00:19:13.480 We've got to take the great state of California back under your leadership.

00:19:16.980 How do people get involved?

00:19:18.400 Where do they go?

00:19:19.800 Thanks, Steve.

00:19:20.360 It's FixCalifornia.com.

00:19:22.000 It's going to take us five years.

00:19:23.220 I've been very blunt with people to say this is not going to happen overnight, but we are fighting.

00:19:27.920 Go to FixCalifornia.com.

00:19:29.660 Get a little money.

00:19:30.380 Give us money.

00:19:30.960 But get involved.

00:19:31.600 Ambassador, what's your social media?

00:19:34.300 Because people are going to want to follow you today or the next couple of days with this.

00:19:37.640 What's going on?

00:19:39.240 It's at Richard Grinnell on Instagram and Twitter and at Grinnell on Truth.

00:19:45.560 Okay.

00:19:46.020 We've got to thank you very much, Ambassador.

00:19:47.400 We have Congressman Matt Gaetz and Miranda Devine.

00:19:50.060 I'm going to ask Congressman Gaetz just to hold for a minute.

00:19:52.500 He joins us by phone.

00:19:53.820 We're going to bring up Miranda Devine. 1.00

00:19:55.300 Miranda, can you give us updates?

00:19:57.120 You've always been at the cutting edge of this and the outrage.

00:19:59.840 Can you give us any updates you know about the raid itself and any of the details?

00:20:03.960 I think people are pretty stunned.

00:20:06.080 How could this possibly be about this archives fight that President Trump appears to have been having since he left the White House?

00:20:14.240 Is that what this is really about, Miranda Devine?

00:20:16.700 Well, that's certainly what someone at the FBI or DOJ leaked last night to the New York Times, that it was just about these presidential records.

00:20:26.180 But that seems odd, considering that the boxes that were packed up from the White House were packed up by the GSA.

00:20:36.980 They have been in a locked room at Mar-a-Lago.

00:20:40.780 President Trump's lawyer, Eric Corcoran, has been basically cooperating with the FBI.

00:20:48.060 The FBI came out a couple of months ago and had a look at those records and had free reign to do what they liked with them.

00:20:56.060 So, if this is the case, they have had to convince a judge in Florida that on Friday, when this sealed search warrant was signed, they've had to convince him that there is some predicate, some excuse for this raid, why they can't just keep cooperating like they did with so many other people.

00:21:18.500 For instance, Hillary Clinton, over the same issue, I mean, it really is extraordinary that the Attorney General Merrick Garland, Ron Klain, you would expect in the White House, Christopher Wray, the FBI Director, would have all had to sign off on this to take this unprecedented move, very political move, to raid the home of a former president and who is likely to be the 2024 presidential candidate.

00:21:47.160 That is as political as it gets, right before the midterms, and to make those decisions, they have put the reputation of the FBI on the line as if it wasn't already bad enough.

00:22:04.180 I just want to make sure, because I'm going to go back to Gates, because Ambassador Grinnell may disagree a bit.

00:22:08.560 Do you believe, actually, as I do and Gates does, that Ron Klain would have had to have signed off on this and given some acknowledgement that this is a bet the Biden presidency move?

00:22:19.000 Ambassador Gates was of the opinion that, hey, the White House, that Merrick Garland would want to keep them totally isolated from this, and he and Ray would have made that decision.

00:22:27.720 Miranda Devine, your thoughts?

00:22:28.840 Well, I mean, maybe that's the case, but I doubt very much that the White House wasn't aware of what was going on.

00:22:37.640 They would have at least been given the heads up.

00:22:39.940 We know that this search warrant was signed on Friday, and Christopher Wray appeared before the Senate Judiciary Committee on Thursday and gave that really unsatisfactory, disingenuous testimony.

00:22:53.740 When there were questions, bipartisan questions about deep concerns with the FBI's performance and corruption, whistleblowers telling Chuck Grasley about agents burying the Hunter Biden material in October of 2020, pretending dismissing it as Russian disinformation.

00:23:13.020 When we know that the DNI at the time, John Ratcliffe, when the Attorney General at the time, Bill Barr, and Christopher Wray himself had all come out with statements to rebut Adam Schiff's lies that it was Russian disinformation.

00:23:28.360 So inside the FBI, they were working against the stated opinion of, or not opinion, factual statement of their boss, Christopher Wray, and the DNI.

00:23:39.520 So, you know, those questions were incredibly important, and others about Larry Nassar and so on, and Chris Wray didn't answer them satisfactorily, and then he cut his performance short at 1.30 with very little notice.

00:23:56.680 He said he had to get somewhere urgent on the FBI's private jet.

00:24:02.420 Chuck Grasley said, well, it's your private jet.

00:24:04.980 Why can't you just delay it a little so we can ask a couple more questions?

00:24:08.720 And no, no, that wasn't possible, Chris Wray.

00:24:11.300 It was all very urgent.

00:24:12.120 But when you look and see what the trajectory was of the destination of that FBI plane that afternoon, it was to the Adirondacks, which is where Christopher Wray has spent his summers at the family home since he was a child.

00:24:29.780 Matt Gaetz, Congressman Gaetz, can you just give us the details again?

00:24:34.880 I mean, the scale of this thing and the ferocity of it, I don't think the American people really know right yet.

00:24:41.060 And this is shocking, whether it's Ron Klain at the White House or just at Merrick Garland.

00:24:45.740 This sounds like much more of a jackbooted move than they're letting on, particularly given the fact that the lawyer has been in constant discussions with GSA and the authorities.

00:24:57.560 Matt Gaetz, did we lose Congresswoman Gaetz?

00:25:04.900 Did it drop?

00:25:06.620 Okay, fine.

00:25:07.340 Let's go back to it.

00:25:08.100 Let's go back to Miranda Devine.

00:25:10.020 Miranda, given your knowledge of the details of this, isn't this more jackbooted than just a GSA move, than just a move that has, you know, it's a discrepancy, right?

00:25:21.140 They're debating these files.

00:25:23.160 You've got GSA involved.

00:25:24.740 You've got the authorities involved.

00:25:26.360 The president's got a top-flight team of lawyers.

00:25:31.180 How could they possibly have signed off on something?

00:25:34.000 And did they actually get a judge to sign off on this?

00:25:36.760 I mean, what federal judge signed off on this thing, a sealed warrant, and then waited over the weekend to do it on Monday?

00:25:41.940 It's a judge called Reinhardt in Florida who used to be a USDA in the District of Southern Florida, but also worked on the Epstein case and then resigned to work for Epstein before, in 2018, he was appointed as a magistrate judge.

00:26:04.180 So he signed off on it on Friday, but we don't know what the predicate was because it's all sealed.

00:26:09.900 We don't know anything about the warrant.

00:26:13.020 The FBI has lied before on warrants, as we know with the Carter Page issues.

00:26:18.840 What we know is that these documents, these supposed presidential record violations that's being alleged and that the New York Times has been told and others now have had confirmed,

00:26:33.740 it was the reason for the raid, that really what the FBI did was they went in there and they cracked open Donald Trump's safe.

00:26:44.800 They went all over the place, picked up a whole lot of other material, any material that they pick up that might be relevant to, say, the seven other allegations that they're trying to bring against Donald Trump,

00:26:56.800 particularly to do with January 6th, you know, the slate of electors and so on, they can use in other investigations if they picked it up in this warrant.

00:27:08.020 So it just, you know, a lawyer close to this has said it just looks like a fishing expedition.

00:27:13.940 Miranda, you agree that this is unprecedented, particularly given the fact of the investigations of Hunter Biden.

00:27:24.320 I mean, why would they risk something this dramatic?

00:27:28.580 Yeah, I know.

00:27:32.100 I've been asking that myself.

00:27:33.440 We've been waiting for some sort of outcome from the four-year investigation by the US Attorney David Weiss in Delaware into Hunter Biden and possible tax violations and money laundering and also a gun charge in there.

00:27:49.400 That's been delayed in an odd way.

00:27:51.900 We're wondering if it was being slow walked past the midterms.

00:27:55.260 However, you know, if there were an outcome today, a plea deal or something, it would really be buried and sort of there'd be a false equivalency drawn to the Donald Trump race.

00:28:08.380 And they've been, the Democrats and their influencers have been very busy this week just trying to paint Hunter Biden as a private citizen being harassed.

00:28:17.660 Miranda, could you just hang on one second?

00:28:20.120 We'll be right back in the war room.

00:28:21.260 With the recent rulings from the Supreme Court, it's worth mentioning that these wins didn't happen on their own.

00:30:03.400 The epidemic is a demon, and we cannot let this demon hide.

00:30:06.800 War Room Pandemic.

00:30:09.360 Here's your host, Stephen K. Bannon.

00:30:13.920 Miranda Devine from the New York Press.

00:30:15.440 Miranda, I think now more than ever, people need to get the book because this is going to be,

00:30:19.200 we've got Congressman Gates, and we're going to bring you back on in a second.

00:30:22.240 This is more than ever, because Matt Gates is going to talk to us about what's going to happen.

00:30:27.300 More than ever, the laptop from hell, regardless of what this phony grand jury

00:30:32.440 and what they're doing to cut a deal with him on some taxes,

00:30:35.140 he's going to be deeply investigated starting in January of this year after we sweep

00:30:39.640 with a massive win in November.

00:30:43.560 How do they follow you on social media, and how do they get to your book?

00:30:46.960 Because your book goes through the details of what America should understand about,

00:30:50.980 let's be blunt, it's the Biden crime family.

00:30:53.380 I mean, Rudy calls it the Biden crime family.

00:30:54.980 It is a crime family. 1.00

00:30:55.820 It's disgusting and revolting. 1.00

00:30:57.940 Everything about China becomes clear when you read this. 0.99

00:31:00.440 Everything about just the disgusting behavior to Biden. 1.00

00:31:04.560 Hunter Biden is equivalent to a dog. 1.00

00:31:07.660 He lives like an animal. 1.00

00:31:09.600 He is an animal. 0.57

00:31:10.920 He lives like an animal. 0.99

00:31:11.940 It's all in the laptop from hell. 0.68

00:31:14.120 And people need to watch it.

00:31:15.300 Then they can see what Biden and his wife are like and what they've raised,

00:31:21.040 which is an animal.

00:31:22.420 He's just nothing but an animal.

00:31:24.340 And yet they have gone and desecrated Mar-a-Lago by doing this,

00:31:28.580 a presidential residence.

00:31:29.860 The first time in the history of this republic.

00:31:33.720 The first time in the history of this republic.

00:31:36.260 Yes, ma'am.

00:31:37.740 It's really, it's not about Hunter Biden. 0.99

00:31:40.580 You know, he's just a pathetic, you know, crackhead throughout this time. 1.00

00:31:46.020 It's his father. 1.00

00:31:47.420 It is the fact that Joe Biden has been running this influence peddling scheme

00:31:51.060 since his earliest days in Delaware.

00:31:53.440 He internationalized when he was vice president

00:31:55.840 and put America's national security at risk for a few million dollars, basically.

00:32:01.620 And he's now president.

00:32:02.960 And that's why it's important.

00:32:04.540 And it's not just the laptop.

00:32:05.920 It's Tony Bobulinski and all the Treasury Department documents

00:32:10.480 and why Tony Bobulinski was not called before at Grand Jury in Delaware

00:32:15.120 is a mystery, except that it would tell you that they didn't really want

00:32:19.900 to get to the truth.

00:32:21.960 Yes, then it's not a mystery.

00:32:23.740 Miranda, how did they get to the book and how are they following on social media?

00:32:27.280 So the book's everywhere.

00:32:28.600 Barnes & Noble, you know, Amazon.

00:32:31.140 And I'm on all social media as at Miranda Devine.

00:32:35.920 Miranda, thank you very much.

00:32:38.480 The columnist, the investigative reporting columnist from the New York Post,

00:32:42.540 the woman who broke the story of the laptop from hell.

00:32:45.900 Miranda, thank you very much.

00:32:47.020 Honored to have you on here.

00:32:49.040 Thanks so much, Steve.

00:32:50.840 We've got Boris Epstein on deck, but I want to go back to Congressman Matt.

00:32:53.940 Do I have Congressman Gates?

00:32:54.960 Do we work at the tech?

00:32:55.900 Right here, Steve.

00:32:57.620 Congressman, the war room posse is blowing me up this morning to say

00:33:03.040 this thing is beyond outrageous.

00:33:06.660 What are we going to do about it?

00:33:08.140 So I turn to you who have been at the forefront of this.

00:33:11.500 Tell us what.

00:33:12.260 Tell us what.

00:33:12.820 You nailed it right there. 0.97

00:33:14.020 The polling's terrible on their new tax and spend orgy.

00:33:17.860 They know they're going to get wiped out in November.

00:33:20.760 They've got to take extraordinary efforts.

00:33:23.200 What do you believe?

00:33:24.020 And do you believe that people have the steely resolve to actually set things right here?

00:33:29.460 And this is just not about President Trump, but about the police state

00:33:32.460 that is now directed by the Biden crime family, sir.

00:33:37.520 What's different today is that we have a unity in the Republican Party showing more willingness

00:33:45.600 to explicitly describe what we will do in power.

00:33:50.380 While I'm frequently a critic of the Republican leader, Kevin McCarthy, he put out a very strong

00:33:57.360 statement that indicated a willingness to get to the bottom of this.

00:34:01.820 I also think we have to starve this administrative state of resources.

00:34:07.880 And look, you know, you talked about the laptop with Miranda.

00:34:11.220 What we have are the bad acts of Hunter Biden, the travel records, the payments.

00:34:17.340 But when we actually get the tools of the majority, we're going to be able to connect those bad

00:34:22.800 acts to the decisions in government.

00:34:25.240 For example, Joe Biden dissolved Trump's China initiative at the Department of Justice

00:34:30.880 to actually go after the very malign influence and compromising behavior that the Chinese 1.00

00:34:37.480 Communist Party engages in that ensnared the first family in their web.

00:34:42.440 So you cannot evaluate the Mar-a-Lago raid as something separate and independent from the

00:34:48.260 other macro conditions of our politics.

00:34:51.040 They got nothing to run on.

00:34:53.040 They have to scare us about, you know, MAGA being some sort of insurrectionist force.

00:34:58.820 And they realized that the January 6th committee had concluded without having achieved that

00:35:04.280 objective, right?

00:35:05.460 If the January 6th committee had offered any significant earth shattering bombshell, if

00:35:10.520 they had altered the political dynamic, I don't know that you would have seen what you

00:35:14.280 saw.

00:35:14.900 Let me make a prediction.

00:35:16.420 Nothing resulting from this raid will result in an indictment or a charge against Donald Trump,

00:35:22.020 because that's not the point.

00:35:23.760 If we're going to catch the signal, not the noise, the signal here is they're trying to

00:35:28.400 put this cloud of potential criminality over the entire America First movement to try to

00:35:34.800 muscle their way through a midterm they're certain to lose, because they know what's on the other

00:35:39.820 side of that midterm election.

00:35:41.920 They know winter is coming, and they know it'll be Jim Jordan, me, Marjorie Taylor Greene,

00:35:47.660 Lauren Boebert with the gavels, wielding subpoenas, calling them in, and getting to the bottom 1.00

00:35:53.380 of this.

00:35:55.420 Last question.

00:35:56.480 I know you were critical of leadership on certain members of leadership at CPAC when

00:36:01.060 we had you live.

00:36:02.340 You mentioned something here, more than just investigations.

00:36:05.020 You used the phrase, starve for resources.

00:36:07.740 Do you believe that you see the steely resolve in leadership that you will actually use the

00:36:13.280 appropriations process and start to, if behavior is not changed, with all these whistleblowers

00:36:19.420 coming forward?

00:36:20.120 Do you actually believe people will use the appropriations process to choke down the Justice

00:36:24.720 Department and to choke down the FBI?

00:36:27.140 We have that momentum today, but we will not keep it without substantial effort by the war

00:36:34.420 room posse specifically.

00:36:36.320 We have to continue to drive this message, because there will be backsliding.

00:36:40.940 Today, everybody says, dismantle the FBI, shut down the government if we don't get the reforms

00:36:47.420 we need.

00:36:48.360 Dan Bishop, my colleague from North Carolina, said it should literally be busted up and sent

00:36:52.920 all over the country, rather than being able to centralize in the most political geography

00:36:57.280 in the world, in Washington, D.C.

00:36:59.740 So everyone's saying the right things now.

00:37:01.960 The question is, will we maintain that resolve?

00:37:04.400 And the only way to do that is to win these primary elections.

00:37:08.220 Joe Kent winning on the western front of the America First battle in Washington 3rd District,

00:37:14.580 that is a huge factor to help us.

00:37:17.940 We've got primaries coming up in Florida.

00:37:19.780 I expect and plan to win mine.

00:37:22.020 And if we get the right team together, then I think we could keep the leadership on the

00:37:26.080 right track.

00:37:26.700 But you're right.

00:37:27.720 We're critical of McCarthy when he deserves it.

00:37:30.240 But when he puts out a strong statement like he did yesterday, I think he deserves praise

00:37:35.920 for that.

00:37:36.700 We're about to hop on a conference call, an emergency conference call with all Republicans

00:37:40.960 in about an hour.

00:37:42.620 And what I expect is even the most moderate, even the most weak need of the Republicans

00:37:47.180 now see what is really going on.

00:37:49.940 They see the fight we are in that you outlined in your speech at CPAC and that now we're seeing

00:37:55.760 manifest before our very eyes.

00:37:58.340 Congressman, how do people find out about your campaign, but specifically how they follow

00:38:03.440 you on social media?

00:38:04.280 Folks can go to MattGates.com and sign up for our regular political reports on what's

00:38:10.520 going on at MattGates and at RepMattGates on Getter.

00:38:15.400 And folks should also check out my podcast.

00:38:17.540 It's called Firebrand, where we are taking apart the deep state and their secrets.

00:38:23.200 Congressman Gates, thank you for sticking around with us.

00:38:24.960 Appreciate it.

00:38:26.080 Thank you.

00:38:27.820 Let's go to Boris Epstein.

00:38:29.600 Boris has been quite busy, so he hasn't been able to join us as frequently as he has in

00:38:33.340 the past.

00:38:33.900 Boris, here's the question.

00:38:36.460 This is all about, I highlighted this or previewed it on Friday night at CPAC.

00:38:42.020 I said exactly what was going to happen.

00:38:44.020 They can't beat him at the ballot box.

00:38:45.600 He won in 16.

00:38:46.660 He won again at 20.

00:38:48.280 No doubt.

00:38:48.640 He's going to have a sweeping, when is Donald J. Trump, the 45th president of the United

00:38:55.440 States, going to get on with it and announce and let's just stop the games and get on with

00:38:59.280 this thing and go crush these people at the ballot box in November?

00:39:03.340 And then in 2024, when are we going to get on with it?

00:39:08.460 Steve, an honor to be with you.

00:39:10.080 It's been a couple of days, you know, unusual for me not to talk to you in the posse every

00:39:14.860 day, but it's been busy, as you said.

00:39:16.600 And frankly, busy, you know, even before yesterday as, you know, as we go through what the Democrats

00:39:23.720 have done, how they've assaulted President Trump, his family, his company, and others,

00:39:32.140 and of course, the MAGA movement as a whole.

00:39:34.680 And now-

00:39:35.460 Boris, Boris, let me, hang on, hang on, let me ask you something.

00:39:38.680 Matt Gaetz laid out something the media is not really reporting.

00:39:41.940 They came in with a rider truck.

00:39:43.480 They had, they were, they were up-armored.

00:39:45.700 They had weapons.

00:39:47.100 There was a very jackbooted. 0.99

00:39:49.200 This was not, you know, as it was, as it was at least initially put out, oh, they were

00:39:54.700 very friendly and there was, you know, they were very cooperative.

00:39:58.880 This was a jackbooted move.

00:40:00.980 Can you verify that?

00:40:02.060 Is that, is that your understanding of what happened?

00:40:05.680 Well, here's my understanding.

00:40:06.860 My understanding is that the Joe Biden's DOJ, Joe Biden's FBI took a completely unnecessary

00:40:13.080 step.

00:40:13.880 There was total cooperation between President Trump, his attorneys, and the relevant agencies.

00:40:18.780 This was completely unnecessary.

00:40:20.840 It's a third world banana republic tactic, and this isn't hyperbole.

00:40:25.160 The bottom line is, is, you know, we are talking about an issue here, which frankly, the president

00:40:31.200 is fully in charge of classifications.

00:40:34.060 The president of the United States decides what is classified, what is unclassified.

00:40:37.700 He's able to take documents out of the Oval Office as he chooses.

00:40:41.460 That is completely in the purview of the executive branch.

00:40:43.880 The president of the United States is the head of that executive branch.

00:40:47.740 This is nakedly, cravenly, an attempt to intimidate President Trump, his family, and his supporters.

00:40:54.420 That's a good thing.

00:40:55.640 There's no, there's no two ways about it.

00:40:57.880 And even the fact that the FBI decided to, you know, either through them or somehow else,

00:41:02.420 through whoever, to leak the fact that they were there, is an attempt to play games in

00:41:08.120 the media.

00:41:08.540 But it is absolutely blown up in the face of the Democrats, because the Republican Party,

00:41:13.540 and not just the Republican Party, but, you know, the independents, even the old line

00:41:17.440 liberals, right?

00:41:18.080 The ACLU liberals who are against overreaching government, who are against tyrannical government.

00:41:23.600 They are standing up and saying, this is wrong.

00:41:26.840 President Trump is absolutely at the height of his popularity, the height of his power

00:41:30.020 now.

00:41:30.740 And hey, as we've talked about, when he decides, as we hope and expect to run for president,

00:41:35.400 you better believe he's going to absolutely annihilate any primary field there may be,

00:41:39.920 even though there shouldn't even be one, and annihilate whoever, whichever sad candidate

00:41:44.620 the Democrats put forward. 0.97

00:41:45.840 And this pathetic, really desperate action yesterday only underscores the strength and 0.83

00:41:53.260 the power of President Trump, the MAGA movement, and the war room posse. 0.81

00:41:58.340 So this is almost incomprehensible.

00:42:03.300 You're telling me that the attorneys were engaged in a process and going back and forth?

00:42:08.240 Of course.

00:42:09.040 Totally.

00:42:09.620 It's been reported.

00:42:10.440 Yes.

00:42:11.600 There was a process.

00:42:12.440 It was cordial.

00:42:14.700 It was cooperative.

00:42:16.460 And in a lot of ways, it was actually more cooperative than even expected by the agencies.

00:42:23.540 And all of a sudden, they want to show up on Monday morning.

00:42:25.840 And by the way, Stephen, this is an important note.

00:42:27.700 And the magistrate judge that signed off on this is not the usual judge who signs off on

00:42:34.060 undertakings like this out of Washington, D.C.

00:42:36.300 The DOJ FBI went to a local federal judge, but a local magistrate in Florida.

00:42:42.440 And overwhelmed that judge with, I'm sure, all kinds of information.

00:42:46.040 Got him to sign off on this third world banana republic. 0.92

00:42:49.580 You're right.

00:42:50.500 That's exactly what it is.

00:42:52.060 They didn't follow even the process they've been following for other undertakings regarding

00:42:57.320 the DOJ.

00:42:59.200 They are completely, completely, of course, singling out President Trump because they're

00:43:04.040 so desperate to prevent him from running, so desperate to knock down his political power.

00:43:08.580 But in doing so, as we've seen throughout history, when you come at a historically strong

00:43:14.720 political figure, and President Trump may be the strongest democratic political figure

00:43:18.640 in history, in a democratic system.

00:43:21.660 When you come at a strong political figure, that blows up in your face, and the political

00:43:25.660 figure gets stronger and stronger and stronger.

00:43:28.160 And our movement is stronger today than it was yesterday, was stronger yesterday than the

00:43:32.200 day before, but will be stronger tomorrow than it is today.

00:43:35.020 Boris, hang on one second.

00:43:37.500 We'll take a short commercial break.

00:43:38.440 You got it.

00:44:16.300 This is a long-term storage food, the kind that stays fresh for up to 25 years.

00:44:21.820 Well, it not only stays fresh, it stays affordable.

00:44:25.540 You see, at today's prices, this food works out to around $3 a meal per person.

00:44:30.780 Let me repeat that.

00:44:31.860 $3 a meal per person.

00:44:33.560 But years from now, when food prices are sky-high, you'll be eating, well, for only $3 a meal.

00:44:40.520 In other words, you lock in affordable food for years to come.

00:45:34.840 Enough.

00:45:35.960 Getter has arrived.

00:45:37.740 It's time to say what you want, the way you want.

00:45:41.200 Download now.

00:45:56.060 You can get the classic 1988 pillow there by going to MyPillow.com, promo code WORUM.

00:46:02.080 Action, action, action.

00:46:04.500 I want to go back to Boris.

00:46:05.580 Boris, Andy McCarthy's got a, who's no Trump fan, as you know, he's got a big piece in the New York Post this morning saying,

00:46:13.120 don't believe everything you see.

00:46:14.360 It's not about, it has nothing to do with the archives because just like you said, they've already been engaged in this discussion.

00:46:20.220 They're talking about it.

00:46:21.420 He thinks that they're in a fishing expedition for January, for January 6th materials.

00:46:28.580 What are your thoughts?

00:46:31.440 It's an intimidation tactic.

00:46:33.040 That's what it is.

00:46:33.780 And, you know, we don't, we have no idea at this point how the DOJ was able to get this warrant from a magistrate judge, what they put out.

00:46:43.100 We do know what they put in the documents, how they convinced the judge.

00:46:45.880 We do know that in the past, especially with FISA, the DOJ has been absolutely not forthcoming.

00:46:51.240 The FBI absolutely lied when it pertains to President Trump and his supporters and those who worked for his campaign.

00:46:57.220 So there's a, there's a modus operandi that, right, there's, there's a precedent for the FBI and the DOJ not being forthcoming with the judge.

00:47:04.580 Did they tell the judge that, hey, there's been cooperation in this case?

00:47:08.000 Did they tell the judge that there's already been substantive back and forth between the president's lawyers and, uh, and the DOJ?

00:47:14.600 If they, if they did not, that's, that's misrepresentation and it's very material.

00:47:19.140 So it'll be very interesting to see what information comes out over the next, uh, you know, weeks and months.

00:47:24.540 But here's the bottom line.

00:47:29.300 This was a naked, craven attempt to intimidate President Trump, to scare President Trump and the movement because they're seeing President Trump's strength.

00:47:39.520 Look at just this weekend, right?

00:47:41.260 No coincidences, but no conspiracies, but no coincidence.

00:47:44.480 No conspiracies, but no coincidences.

00:47:46.320 Just this weekend at CPAC, President Trump at 69%, you know, the other, the, the other potential candidates in the 20s.

00:47:53.120 Among Hispanics, President Trump at 81, the others at, the, the next ones at 16.

00:47:57.700 President Trump is the irrefutable, undisputed leader of the country, the Republican Party, and the MAGA movement.

00:48:05.120 And of course, the other side is so scared of it.

00:48:07.760 And that's why there's still Trump derangement syndrome is still at its height.

00:48:11.260 Nobody's talking about Joe Biden and the fact that he has COVID for about two years already, right?

00:48:14.760 The guy's been, you know, been, been out with COVID.

00:48:17.400 Now he's, you know, hacking up a lung, you know, first day he's back.

00:48:20.420 Nobody's talking about Joe Biden.

00:48:22.400 Nobody's talking about the stagflation bill that they passed this week, which they somehow touted as this big historic thing.

00:48:29.360 Every single news, every single story, every single show is all about President Donald J. Trump because the mainstream media knows he's the most powerful political figure in America.

00:48:41.160 The Democrats know it.

00:48:42.620 MAGA and Republicans, of course, know it because they recognize it.

00:48:45.340 And what the Democrats and the DOG are doing is using third world, as I've said before, banana republic tactics to attack their political adversary, their political opponent. 0.66

00:48:57.040 We've never seen that before in this country.

00:48:59.080 It's unprecedented.

00:49:00.500 But unfortunately, we've seen it all over the world coming from radical, woke liberals, including, hey, my family witnessed it, right?

00:49:08.320 We're refugees from the former Soviet Union.

00:49:10.100 And this is exactly, exactly how the corrupt law enforcement agencies, the weaponized law enforcement agencies of the Soviet Union, China, North Korea, other tyrannical states, Iraq, all over the country, all over the world, that's how they behave.

00:49:27.360 The weaponizing and targeting of law enforcement against political adversaries is textbook tyrannical and textbook radical, woke, socialist, communist.

00:49:37.960 So where do we go from here?

00:49:41.520 What are the actions?

00:49:42.660 You know, I saw a video last night that came out.

00:49:44.620 It was a beautiful video, but I think we're past videos.

00:49:47.660 I actually think we're past rallies.

00:49:49.200 I think it's time now for action.

00:49:50.700 I know the Warren Posse wants to get engaged more than ever.

00:49:53.580 You saw Matt Gaetz and, you know, McCarthy put out these things that, you know, save your documents.

00:49:58.940 But where do we go from here?

00:50:01.160 What do you how do you think this plays out?

00:50:03.400 Because this is an outrage, they desecrated one of the most iconic presidential residences in American history.

00:50:11.700 That's what they did.

00:50:12.320 They desecrated it and they did it on purpose and they did it to rub Maga's nose in this.

00:50:17.520 This comes off the great Cary Lake victory, the Joe Kent.

00:50:20.540 Joe Kent's going to join us in this in the second hour.

00:50:23.340 Cary Lake tonight or this afternoon.

00:50:26.160 Where do we go from here, Boris?

00:50:27.520 I know you're an action, action, action guy.

00:50:30.680 So tell me, where do we go?

00:50:33.480 Steve, here's where we have to go from here.

00:50:35.180 We have got to make sure that as we have we have primaries tonight, we have primaries all through August and then even into September in New Hampshire.

00:50:43.820 We've got to be electing Maga candidates all across the country, all across the country.

00:50:48.280 It's got to be all Maga.

00:50:49.260 And then, as we hope and expect, President Trump, when he decides to announce, we have got to ensure that there is absolute and total coalescence.

00:50:58.180 That there's not even a voice in a Maga primary.

00:51:02.120 You know, Liz Cheney, the loser out of Wyoming, wants to go and make noise. 1.00

00:51:06.480 Or Chris Christie, you know, the has-been from 10 years ago, wants to be. 0.91

00:51:10.020 Let him do it.

00:51:10.720 But Maga has got to be fully united behind President Donald J. Trump, as we hope and expect decides to run for president.

00:51:19.660 That is who we need.

00:51:20.720 That's the broad shoulders we need in the Oval Office.

00:51:24.200 And frankly, the Democrats are telling us the same exact thing because he is the one they're singling out.

00:51:30.700 He's the one they're targeting.

00:51:32.260 He's the one they're petrified of because President Trump brought this country back to greatness.

00:51:36.640 In just four years, he brought it from the precipice of a cliff after Clinton and Bush and Obama.

00:51:44.500 President Trump brought us universal energy dominance.

00:51:48.220 Brought us absolute annihilation of our adversaries.

00:51:51.860 Brought us strength domestically, a strength on the border.

00:51:55.060 And now, in just 18 months, look at the way our country's falling apart.

00:51:58.460 We have an anniversary of the Afghanistan debacle coming up.

00:52:01.740 We have got a total disaster on the border.

00:52:04.300 We have an economic stagflation.

00:52:06.960 That's why we need President Trump.

00:52:08.660 The American people know it.

00:52:10.240 And that is who we've got to get behind.

00:52:12.480 There's no two ways about it.

00:52:14.060 And listen, here's what I will tell you.

00:52:16.080 Here's what I'll tell the posse.

00:52:17.000 Always signal, not noise.

00:52:18.440 Absolutely expect for this targeting and weaponization of President Trump and MAGA to continue.

00:52:24.020 We've got to stay strong.

00:52:25.560 We cannot back down.

00:52:26.980 We've got to fight on for our country.

00:52:30.080 Okay, Boris, how do people follow you on social media and get your newsletter?
