Bannon's War Room - Episode 2073： The Repo Man Comes For The Economy; Productivity Crashes; The CDC Comes After Naomi Wolf; The Blockbuster Film On Alex Jones： Alex's War

00:00:00.000 The virus has now killed more than 100 people in China,

00:00:02.940 and new cases have been confirmed around the world.

00:00:05.420 So you don't want to frighten the American public.

00:00:07.700 France and South Korea have also got evacuation plans.

00:00:10.440 But you need to prepare for and assume

00:00:13.340 broadly warning Americans to avoid all non-essential travel to China.

00:00:17.780 That this is going to be a real serious problem.

00:00:19.780 France, Australia, Canada, the U.S., Singapore, Cambodia, Vietnam, the list goes on.

00:00:24.240 Health officials are investigating more than 100 possible cases in the U.S.

00:00:28.260 Germany, a man has contracted the virus.

00:00:31.700 The epidemic is a demon, and we cannot let this demon hide.

00:00:35.140 Japan, where a bus driver contracted the virus.

00:00:38.300 Coronavirus has killed more than 100 people there and infected more than 4,500.

00:00:44.340 We have to prepare for the worst, always.

00:00:47.120 Because if you don't, then the worst happens.

00:00:50.600 War Room. Pandemic.

00:00:52.800 Here's your host, Stephen K. Bannon.

00:00:58.260 Okay, Friday, 12 August, year of our Lord, 2022.

00:01:00.880 We have Jack Posobiec from Human Events Daily.

00:01:02.780 He's got a new show at 10 o'clock every night, Eastern Daylight Time, on Real America's Voice.

00:01:06.760 It's a must-watch.

00:01:08.000 It's the evening edition, the nighttime edition, the night watch of War Room.

00:01:12.280 I want to go to Cortez real quick.

00:01:13.660 I got Cortez in here.

00:01:14.920 Cortez is going to be doing economics.

00:01:16.160 But, Steve, I've got to ask you the politics before I go back to Posobiec.

00:01:19.020 I've got David Brooks in the New York Times, and I've got George Will in the Washington Post.

00:01:25.220 And they're essentially saying, unless Merrick Garland comes forward, like, immediately and gives a major rationale for why this was done, just wait for Trump 2024.

00:01:36.280 It's all over.

00:01:37.120 Game, set, match.

00:01:38.080 Your thoughts on that, your political thoughts on that as one of the lead spokesmen for President Trump and one of our top guys for messaging, sir?

00:01:45.760 Sure.

00:01:46.060 Listen, as an American, what happened was an atrocity against this country, against the Constitution, against President.

00:01:51.720 But I will say, as a campaign operative, I think it was a sign of incredible desperation from the Democrats.

00:01:58.280 And in that regard, it was actually a gift to the candidacy of Donald Trump, which is why I am encouraging him to announce as soon as possible.

00:02:06.340 I think from a tactical campaign perspective, it's the right thing to do.

00:02:09.400 I also think from a patriotic perspective, it's the right thing to do, that he can fight back against this abuse of power.

00:02:15.300 Better as an official announced candidate, rather than simply an ex-president and a private citizen of the United States.

00:02:21.920 But yes, listen, I don't often agree with people like David Brooks and George Will, but I'm going to concur in this case.

00:02:27.780 You know, clearly, I think Donald Trump was the presumptive nominee anyway, was the favorite to win the presidency again, given the created crises that right now bedevil this country because of Joe Biden and his complete mismanagement of the economy, particularly.

00:02:41.820 But other issues as well, like the border. But now that he has engaged in this police state tactic, I think even people who don't necessarily ideologically agree with us, even people who aren't necessarily friendly to the America first agenda.

00:02:54.800 They see this abuse of power for what it is. And independents and even persuadable Democrats are going to come our way, are going to come to the to the agenda and movement of President Trump.

00:03:05.900 Steve, hang on. We're going to get to your chalk talk and your analysis of this economy in a second.

00:03:12.380 We'll go back to the Soviet. So given the oligarchies we've allowed to develop in this nation, Twitter comes out yesterday.

00:03:18.860 And look, you're you're the you're the pro from Dover on all things Twitter in the whole world, but particularly in the in the MAGA movement.

00:03:25.460 And for President Trump, you're by far the best. And you understand that you understand the flows and the mechanisms.

00:03:30.860 What did Twitter say yesterday? And should people be concerned that this is another oligarchs are stepping up not to put their thumb on the scale, but essentially shut down the scale for November 8th?

00:03:40.460 Look, Steve, this comes as no surprise to anyone who's been on Twitter.

00:03:44.300 We already lived through the censoring of the Hunter Biden laptop story.

00:03:48.940 I'm waiting for Twitter's civic integrity. They're calling it civic integrity board.

00:03:53.660 I'm waiting them for to announce that Hunter Biden is going to be Twitter's head of the civic civic integrity board.

00:03:59.680 Elon Musk, come on, buddy. If you're going to step up and fix this thing, I'm waiting.

00:04:03.460 I'm waiting, Elon. Where's the you know, where's the deal?

00:04:06.420 You're trying to back out. You're playing footsies. You're going to court in Delaware.

00:04:09.340 Where's the deal, Elon? You said you were going to step up and all little Elon bros said that he was going to fix everything.

00:04:15.880 It was going to be great. All right. Show me the receipts because I want the receipts from Garland.

00:04:19.840 I want the receipts from Trump. Trump's asking for the receipts. I want the receipts on Elon.

00:04:23.920 Look, is Twitter going to put the finger on a scale? Of course they are.

00:04:27.460 That's why you need Getter. That's why you need Rumble. That's why you need Real America's Voice.

00:04:32.420 That's why you need Human Events Daily and Frontlines, the War Room Nightwatch.

00:04:36.740 That's why you need independent platforms out there, because they're always going to put the finger on a scale.

00:04:42.480 That's why Carrie Lake. How many times did Carrie Lake go on Fox News? Once. 1.00

00:04:46.460 She went on once. That was a victory of independent media.

00:04:50.120 When you saw the the the well, the throwdown that turned into the agreement between myself and Jon Stewart.

00:04:55.480 That was old media versus new media. This is how it's done now.

00:04:59.300 That's why Klaus Schwab is sending his goons out to detain me, to come after me and my turning point crew when we're over there in Davos to come after us.

00:05:06.200 And now we hear that the World Economic Forum wants to use A.I. to go and censor keywords across the Internet.

00:05:12.120 It's simple. It's very simple what they're doing. It's obvious.

00:05:14.780 It's and I've had I've had people, by the way, Steve telling calling me up yesterday, people that are currently serving in the intelligence community saying this is clear timing.

00:05:24.420 The reason the FBI launched this raid when they did is and the DOJ is because they can see they can see the Trump candidates winning the primaries.

00:05:34.320 But Trump has yet to announce. So they're trying to time it because they know he's about to announce, but they won't be, you know, attacked for going after a currently announced.

00:05:46.000 It's very it's so obvious what they're doing. It's so obvious the timing that you would have to be a fool to overlook it. 0.97

00:05:52.420 Look, we know what's going on. And you know what? I actually give Garland credit for one thing. 0.98

00:05:56.760 I give him credit for one thing. He told us the truth. This raid order came down from the top.

00:06:03.500 So, all right. If you want to go mask off, we'll go mask off.

00:06:09.960 Last thing, the White House, you're saying it's obvious by the crickets.

00:06:13.560 Nobody's coming near this thing as radioactive as it is. That's your reporting because you're you're deeply sourced inside the White House.

00:06:19.640 Oh, 100 percent. And and we'll be covering that that deeply.

00:06:24.300 We're going to go line by line. Everything that's happening on the South Carolina trip.

00:06:27.900 Look, the only thing the White House has ever said for the first time that I completely agree with,

00:06:32.860 and I think is 100 percent true, is that Joe Biden knew nothing because I guarantee you, Joe Biden never knows anything.

00:06:39.760 That's something I'm like, yeah, he probably didn't know anything.

00:06:42.160 Well, of course, they're not telling him because they're telling you now who's really in charge.

00:06:46.040 This is the administrative state. This is, as I called him the other day when I went through line by line on the Millie letter, the deranged eunuch class.

00:06:55.720 And that's what you had in front of the American people. I called this.

00:06:59.300 That was the deranged eunuch class striking out in their own impetus because they can never win over the American people. 0.62

00:07:07.240 All they have is brute force.

00:07:11.560 Jack Posovic with social media, how they get you and how you get to the new show?

00:07:16.080 Yeah, it's at Twitter at Jack Posovic. We're going up on Rumble. We're live on Getter, of course, as well, every single day.

00:07:21.580 It's 10 p.m. Eastern with a War Room Night Watch, Human Events Daily, Apple, Spotify, wherever you get your podcast.

00:07:27.260 We got the new email up, liberty at tpusa.com. So shoot us an email, comment, tip, suggestion.

00:07:32.540 Shoot us the hate mail, too. Shoot us the trolls. I love it. And I respond to the trolls, too. 0.99

00:07:36.340 Like Andrew Breitbart, your mentor. You always go to the trolls first.

00:07:43.220 Jack, thank you so much. Thank you for sticking around.

00:07:45.240 Nuclear hot coming in nuclear hot tonight.

00:07:47.200 You got to watch that show. It's amazing.

00:07:51.780 OK, let's let's play the cold open. Cortez has got some serious business here to talk about the economy, not spin.

00:07:57.380 Let's play the chalk talk. I'm bringing Steve.

00:07:58.940 It's the repo man is getting busy, and that's an ominous sign of Biden's car troubles.

00:08:04.660 For the numbers, let's go to a chalk talk brought to you by Getter.

00:08:07.860 Repossessions have now risen to 15,000 per day nationwide in America.

00:08:13.080 Why? Because of unsustainable debt.

00:08:15.340 Total auto loan debt, $1.43 trillion a record.

00:08:19.800 And for the first time ever, the average loan balance is over $20,000 per car.

00:08:24.840 That means a monthly payment of $730 every single month that so many consumers simply can't afford

00:08:31.080 because prices are skyrocketing everywhere in their life.

00:08:34.380 Now, let's look at an affordability index.

00:08:36.620 How many weeks does it take to work for the average worker to buy the average new car?

00:08:41.160 Back in 2013, it took 36 weeks.

00:08:44.340 2019, under Trump, it went all the way down to only 32 weeks.

00:08:47.640 For most of the last decade, this number was pretty stable at 35 weeks.

00:08:51.800 But now, it explodes up to 42 weeks.

00:08:55.400 You're working an extra seven weeks to buy a car, and it's because of Biden and the Democrats.

00:09:03.840 Steve, the first thing I've got to ask you, why is business media just take the top-line cheerlead numbers

00:09:09.340 and then spin it and only pull the pom-poms out?

00:09:11.480 You do more work just coming on your chalk talks and coming on The War Room than literally CNBC all day.

00:09:18.600 How does that work, sir?

00:09:19.580 You know, Steve, I think there are two reasons.

00:09:21.920 The first, unfortunately, is ideological.

00:09:24.000 It's just their commitment to narrative.

00:09:25.680 And they prioritize narrative and the corporatist agenda over truth, over fact-finding, over storytelling, over journalism.

00:09:32.860 That's just the unfortunate reality that the business media, which used to be a bit separate from the rest of the corporate media,

00:09:38.860 is now totally intertwined with them, unfortunately, and has effectively become, particularly CNBC,

00:09:44.860 has effectively become a PR arm of the Democratic Party and gigantic corporations.

00:09:49.860 But then the second reason, Steve, which I don't think we should underestimate, is just laziness.

00:09:54.420 OK, listen, here's the unfortunate reality.

00:09:56.680 And I say this as somebody who comes out of the cable news world, OK?

00:09:59.520 But most people who are on television are there because they want to be on television, not because they want to do the hard work,

00:10:06.980 not because they want to do research, because they want to do hours and hours of economic research to find exactly the right statistics

00:10:13.080 that prove exactly the correct point and then write it persuasively for the American people.

00:10:18.600 There are precious few of those folks out there anymore, Steve, old school journalists who want to do research and who are not lazy.

00:10:26.580 Instead, it's far easier to simply take the press releases, effectively, of the Democrats on Capitol Hill or the White House or gigantic corporations

00:10:36.420 and just copy and paste and effectively put that out and pretend that you're doing real work.

00:10:41.620 So I think it's a combination of the ideology and the commitment to narrative, unfortunately.

00:10:45.580 But then also, Steve, again, don't underestimate human laziness, particularly for people in the media.

00:10:52.580 You know, there is no more self-congratulatory group of people on planet Earth than on-air talent at the major news organizations.

00:11:00.900 And that is just the reality, Steve.

00:11:02.920 They are entitled.

00:11:04.340 They are smug. 0.99

00:11:05.560 They are lazy. 0.90

00:11:06.760 And they don't want to do the hard work of digging in and seeing, for example, right now,

00:11:11.780 what kind of shape is the economy actually in?

00:11:14.120 What are regular people experiencing?

00:11:16.640 Not people in New York newsrooms, not people who hang around luxury hotels in Washington, D.C.

00:11:22.460 with a bunch of lobbyists at the bar having cocktails.

00:11:25.200 What are regular Americans dealing with right now?

00:11:27.580 Well, one of the things they're dealing with is a massive rise in delinquency of car loans.

00:11:33.220 Why?

00:11:33.560 Because car prices, both new and used, are at all-time highs and significantly so.

00:11:39.620 Interest rates are rising.

00:11:41.040 Repossessions are starting to rise.

00:11:42.920 I fear and believe, and I think the numbers prove this point, that the repo man is about

00:11:46.860 to get really busy in the United States.

00:11:49.360 This is the kind of tangible kitchen table, real-world stuff that people are dealing with.

00:11:53.480 And the corporate media, unfortunately, is largely unaware of it.

00:11:56.640 Or if they are aware, simply choose to ignore it.

00:11:59.300 We started the show with Harriet Hageman, and she brought up the point, hey, you know,

00:12:05.620 you hear this stuff coming out of Washington, D.C. about the prices dropping.

00:12:08.640 She says, hey, prices have never been, they're like all-time highs out here.

00:12:12.080 They're crushing the ranchers and farmers, and they start rolling through the food sector.

00:12:16.480 Tell us about that for a second.

00:12:17.600 You had a slight tick down of the decelerating of the accelerating rate of inflation.

00:12:25.480 Hageman says out there, she goes, they're not seeing any stop to inflation.

00:12:29.900 People are getting crushed.

00:12:31.300 Steve Cortez.

00:12:32.120 No, listen, let's be precise about this.

00:12:34.680 There was a slight downtick, a very slight downtick in the rate of acceleration, okay?

00:12:40.580 That's what has happened, all right?

00:12:42.800 Prices are not falling.

00:12:44.360 There is a slight downtick in the rate of acceleration in the month of July.

00:12:49.260 You know, as I proved in my chalk talk yesterday, CNN said, and this is a quote,

00:12:52.940 the falling price of food and gas.

00:12:55.020 No, food and gas are not falling, not at all.

00:12:57.560 As a matter of fact, food prices are rising at a faster pace than they have since 1979

00:13:02.120 in this country.

00:13:03.260 That's according to the official government statistics, which were just released in the

00:13:07.200 CPI report.

00:13:08.300 You know, let me point out another price, and this is related to what Hageman was saying,

00:13:11.860 because I think this is important, because you mentioned agriculture.

00:13:14.360 If we have that chart ready, chart number one, which is natural gas prices, because this

00:13:18.860 isn't getting much attention from corporate media, because again, they're lazy and they're

00:13:21.920 committed to narrative.

00:13:22.700 But guess what's happened in natural gas in just the last few weeks, Steve?

00:13:26.040 Natural gas did take a huge hit in June and into early July, got all the way down from

00:13:31.160 above $9 to below $5.50.

00:13:33.500 But guess what?

00:13:34.040 It is snapping all the way back.

00:13:36.680 It nearly touched $9 yesterday.

00:13:39.040 And as you can see from that chart, for the folks who are watching, not just listening,

00:13:42.500 we are very near all-time highs again for natural gas.

00:13:45.600 Now, you might think, well, what does natural gas have to do with farming?

00:13:48.000 Well, quite a lot, actually, particularly as it relates to fertilizer.

00:13:50.900 Natural gas, in some ways, Steve, is even more important to the broad economy than gasoline,

00:13:55.460 as important as gasoline is.

00:13:56.900 Because natural gas is really the fuel for the factories and farms of America.

00:14:01.180 And it's the fuel, thankfully, that America, for decades, had been able to count on plentiful,

00:14:06.900 affordable domestic supplies, because we are the Saudi America of natural gas.

00:14:11.400 Joe Biden, unfortunately, ruined that.

00:14:13.320 He squandered that great blessing of this land.

00:14:16.760 Natural gas prices are now soaring.

00:14:19.040 And I fear that we're going to hear a lot more in the coming weeks.

00:14:21.820 You don't hear anything now, but we're going to hear a lot more in the coming weeks about

00:14:24.620 natural gas as a massive inflationary force for this economy.

00:14:28.160 Steve, how do people get to your writings on Substack?

00:14:33.100 How do they get to all your Getter lives? 0.67

00:14:35.680 Yeah, please find me at Steve on Getter.

00:14:38.000 I'm at Cortez Steve on the Twitter.

00:14:42.100 Some of the best economic analysis out there.

00:14:44.640 And I know this for a fact, because I have people call me all the time and say, hey,

00:14:47.820 we depend upon Cortez and how he breaks down.

00:14:49.960 Steve, thank you very much for taking time to join us today.

00:14:53.200 Dave Bratt, our economist from Liberty, next in the War Room.

00:14:58.160 You know what's never good?

00:15:01.480 When your nation's supposed authority on economic policy completely misses the flashing red lights

00:15:08.280 of impending inflation.

00:15:10.320 Now, Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen has finally admitted, quote,

00:15:14.480 there's been an unanticipated and large shocks to the economy that have boosted energy and food prices

00:15:19.360 and supply bottlenecks that affected our economy badly that I didn't, at the time, fully understand.

00:15:27.840 End quote.

00:15:28.680 You know who understands the real threat of inflation?

00:17:22.880 whether it's to get involved in local politics, whether it's to become an election official,

00:17:27.020 not just a poll watcher.

00:17:28.320 You don't want to be a poll watcher anymore.

00:17:29.940 You want to be a poll worker inside the room or an election judge.

00:17:33.620 So you go there.

00:17:34.260 One easy way to start is PrecinctStrategy.com.

00:17:37.700 This is Steve Stern and Dan Schultz and the whole team over there.

00:17:41.260 Dan Schultz has been doing this for a long time.

00:17:42.700 He's got a book on it.

00:17:43.560 You just go, you check your own state of how you sign up, how you get involved.

00:17:47.880 Remember, be an owner, not a donor.

00:17:49.940 You don't need to write a check.

00:17:51.020 This is totally free.

00:17:52.220 But the Army of Awakened need the phalanx to man up.

00:17:57.640 And that means you've got to volunteer.

00:17:59.340 You've got to get engaged.

00:18:00.300 Everybody's against you.

00:18:01.060 Capital of Wall Street's against you.

00:18:02.760 The tech oligarchs are against you.

00:18:04.620 Big farmers against you.

00:18:05.880 Big media is against you.

00:18:06.940 Hey, I like the odds, right?

00:18:08.740 You can tell a person by their enemies.

00:18:11.700 So said David Brooks in his piece today.

00:18:13.780 He said the new power in the Republican Party comes from people that have the right enemies.

00:18:18.260 Well, hey, who knows?

00:18:20.420 But I think I got a couple of three enemies, right?

00:18:22.620 All good.

00:18:23.340 Okay, let's bring in Dave Brett now.

00:18:25.860 Dave, you've got some charts on the economy.

00:18:29.540 Here's what I love about you, Brett.

00:18:30.680 But two things that you've called, you know, Navarro and Cortez were the stagflation.

00:18:37.140 You came out over the last couple of months, the last six or seven months, and said, hey, we have a big problem in this country.

00:18:43.680 The underlying economy has not never really been – we've lost our productivity.

00:18:48.740 We've lost our edge.

00:18:49.840 The real economy doesn't really generate any growth anymore.

00:18:52.460 This is all financial, you know, mumbo-jumbo.

00:18:56.440 This is all the sleight of hand of the Federal Reserve and just continue to print money.

00:19:00.820 And you've shown – you said, hey, real interest rate should be at seven and a quarter, seven and a half, not the nonsense we've got today, which continues to print easy money.

00:19:08.680 So walk through your analysis every day.

00:19:11.260 NPR, in fact, on my Getter account, I think we put up – NPR came out and said, hey, you know, the companies are signaling there's a real problem here.

00:19:20.380 They're cutting marketing and advertising, which is always a leading indicator.

00:19:23.860 They're cutting costs dramatically, right, the trips and the overhead and all that, the T&Es and the overhead and the extra – and wait for it.

00:19:30.580 They're starting to cut jobs.

00:19:31.760 They're not filling the jobs they got, but they're also starting to cut jobs.

00:19:35.240 And even NPR said that does not portend well for the real economy and real Americans.

00:19:41.220 Dave Bratt, take it away, brother.

00:19:43.720 Yeah, well, Navarro and Cortez hammers it every day, and he had it just right today.

00:19:48.920 The average person is getting hammered, right?

00:19:51.340 I mean, inflation went from nine to eight and a half.

00:19:53.240 Wow, whoop-dee-doo.

00:19:53.940 It's still 40-year high, right?

00:19:56.080 And so it's hammering everybody back home.

00:19:58.580 But then the people – the middle class turns on the TV at night, and they see the stock market going up.

00:20:03.720 And they go, are Bratt and Cortez and Navarro right?

00:20:06.440 And so I got two pieces I want to lay out today to show that we are right.

00:20:12.180 And also, Cortez hit yesterday, the productivity is down again, right?

00:20:17.480 That's the most basic economic variable, output per hour, right, the amount of stuff you're making.

00:20:24.040 And so that's just decisive.

00:20:25.860 But the average person sees the stock market going up.

00:20:28.620 How in the world can that be?

00:20:30.840 Well, it's because the Fed is wimping out, right?

00:20:33.480 They're on a knife edge, and they do not want to cause a deep, deep depression.

00:20:38.440 And so they're backing off, and the markets think the Fed is going to be accommodative,

00:20:43.760 and they're still stimulative.

00:20:44.480 They haven't really done any significant tightening, right?

00:20:48.400 Having an interest rate at 2% is not tightening by historic standards.

00:20:54.040 And then you've got the Green Mansion bill, $500 billion plus more federal government spending.

00:20:58.720 Ho, ho, ho, ho, ho, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, hang on, hang on, hang on.

00:21:02.660 Before we get to the fiscal part of it, we haven't seen – I'm not sure they're not even doing quantitative easing,

00:21:08.740 but they certainly aren't doing any quantitative tightening.

00:21:10.660 They have not taken off anything.

00:21:12.840 They have not shrunk the balance sheet at all.

00:21:15.020 And now we're getting articles in the Financial Times.

00:21:17.040 Wow, this could be really dangerous.

00:21:18.560 You know, this could be dangerous.

00:21:19.900 So the promise of quantitative tightening, of taking liquidity out to try to slow things down,

00:21:25.800 they absolutely are not doing that, right?

00:21:27.740 They're showing – they're giving – indicators are only going to do 50 basis points, not 75,

00:21:34.000 but only 50 basis points in September.

00:21:35.680 But as importantly, Dave, they're not taking any of the juice out of the system, correct?

00:21:41.440 Right.

00:21:41.960 Yeah, they're not serious.

00:21:43.780 Markets know it, so they're forward-looking, and they think it's a joke, right?

00:21:48.500 So they're going to get off easy, they think.

00:21:51.300 But the problem is, is the Fed is heightening the number one issue in the polls.

00:21:56.260 They're not tightening, so you got – they're still printing money, 6% growth.

00:22:02.060 And now the federal government's doing more spending, Keynesian demand-side stuff,

00:22:06.000 instead of focusing on the supply side, which is a problem.

00:22:09.340 And so everything is stimulative.

00:22:11.400 And so you're going to have inflation.

00:22:13.020 You're going to have an enduring high inflation.

00:22:16.240 So that's the first thing.

00:22:17.000 I just want to tell the people when Cortez is going off, he's nailing it, right?

00:22:21.200 And it's the real story.

00:22:22.380 And then if Cameron's got the couple of charts, I just want to confirm what Steve has been saying.

00:22:28.580 Here's the consumer, right?

00:22:29.860 This is 70% of the economy, U.S., 70% consumption.

00:22:35.420 So the consumer – look at the far right.

00:22:37.220 That's where we are right now.

00:22:38.560 So it doesn't matter what you're looking at, current situation, consumer sentiment,

00:22:43.120 their feelings at present, or expectations going out in the future.

00:22:47.120 They're basically the same shape.

00:22:49.300 And if you'll notice, they're at – what the average American is feeling right now

00:22:54.000 is equal to being at the bottom of the financial crisis back in 08.

00:22:59.460 So any time the nightly news or Biden says there's no inflation,

00:23:03.840 okay, if you're arguing with a couple hundred million people that feel

00:23:08.920 that they're at the bottom of the 08 financial crisis in terms of their consumer sentiment,

00:23:14.340 the way they feel about the economy, and their expectations of the future economy,

00:23:19.660 good luck to you.

00:23:20.800 And then the next couple of charts, just real quick, 10 seconds on each.

00:23:25.100 This just shows you what a recession looks like, right?

00:23:27.840 So here's – at the far right, you got 2022 quarter one.

00:23:31.880 So everything's kind of positive before.

00:23:33.960 Call boom.

00:23:34.800 So when the mainstream press – and Cortez had it right – a lot of it's just laziness.

00:23:40.580 But where are the economists?

00:23:42.800 The economists live off of grants and federal funding, et cetera.

00:23:46.720 And so they're nowhere to be found because if they came out and told the truth

00:23:50.140 about what's really going on with the economy, they'd all be fired.

00:23:53.600 And then in closing, the last graph just confirms that one a little more strongly.

00:23:57.940 Here's the recession and the components of GDP growth.

00:24:02.860 And the last two are the first quarter and second quarter of 2022.

00:24:09.120 This year, that's your recession.

00:24:12.000 And you'll see the consumers down, business capital investments down, government – they're

00:24:19.140 going to prop up a little bit, but even it's down.

00:24:21.440 And so that's the real economy.

00:24:24.600 Productivity's down.

00:24:25.920 All the major contributors to GDP growth are down.

00:24:29.860 And so when Cortez is going off on the cars and et cetera, this is the way it feels to the

00:24:36.580 consumer.

00:24:37.060 And he's giving the hammer every day on food prices through the roof.

00:24:42.440 Gas price is still up at highs, at 40-year highs.

00:24:47.040 And you can't cloak it.

00:24:49.700 And so – and in Navarro's contribution, he always – and he says the solution is not

00:24:54.960 more demand fakery with printing money.

00:24:57.460 The solution is structural.

00:24:59.020 And he's exactly right on that.

00:25:00.360 We've got to get back to looking at the supply side and the economy, which is business.

00:25:06.060 Supply creates the demand.

00:25:08.440 Government doesn't create money or demand.

00:25:11.080 It's the businesses that are doing the hard work.

00:25:12.660 We said that they're so afraid of this thing falling into a recession and maybe even a

00:25:19.980 depression.

00:25:20.520 They were going to have another massive fiscal stimulus when they came back in August.

00:25:23.320 And guess what?

00:25:23.800 Manchin and those guys surprised everybody by coming in and actually having the $800 billion

00:25:28.500 fiscal stimulus before they went on holiday.

00:25:33.220 The question for you – we've got a couple of minutes.

00:25:34.780 If you're – they're hiring 80,000 IRS agents saying, hey, you've got to be ready to use

00:25:40.600 lethal force.

00:25:42.340 The Senate Joint Committee has said they're going to focus on couples and entrepreneurs

00:25:46.780 under $200,000 and less.

00:25:48.760 That's where 85% of the taxes are going to come from.

00:25:51.040 You're not going to have any more tax cuts.

00:25:53.120 We can't sell any more bonds.

00:25:54.780 They're going to have this massive – still massive deficit spending.

00:25:57.640 How do you – in your world, how do we actually get back to focusing on making the economy

00:26:03.660 itself productive when you can't – you're going to have to fight the administrative

00:26:07.780 state every day on regulations.

00:26:09.860 You're going to have to – there's no more ways to have tax cuts.

00:26:13.440 In Dave Brat's concept, how do we get to the underlying core problem?

00:26:19.120 And by the way, this bill actually starts doing the transition.

00:26:22.900 It kills our energy, right, sources, and gets to, you know, transitions to the Green

00:26:28.140 New Deal.

00:26:28.600 So how do you – in two minutes, how do we do it, Brad?

00:26:31.300 Well, I don't need to do it because you're doing it.

00:26:33.560 The key to it is the Marxists have overrun the institutions, and originally the Marxists

00:26:39.220 wanted to own the means of production, right, the capital itself.

00:26:42.480 Well, they knew they couldn't do that, right?

00:26:44.100 So they started off in the education sector.

00:26:46.380 They overtook the size of government.

00:26:48.500 The federal government's growing.

00:26:49.680 They've packed the FBI, the CIA, the State Department with the administrative state.

00:26:57.200 And there's – you know, people are going over the history of the FBI now, right, over

00:27:00.000 the last 30 years, how it used to be patriotic American superstars.

00:27:04.900 And now we've got a tax on, you know, sitting presidents, et cetera.

00:27:09.040 And so your analysis is right.

00:27:11.400 You've got to get rid of the federal government, the Marxists and the leftists, not liberals.

00:27:17.420 The liberals are fine.

00:27:18.360 You can debate with the liberals on the size of government.

00:27:20.680 That's not who we're dealing with anymore.

00:27:23.080 And so when you're talking about taxing, who the taxes are going to fall on, the left

00:27:28.760 is not going to tax itself, right?

00:27:30.640 The big tech guys, Twitter and Facebook and Google and Microsoft and all that, they're

00:27:35.380 all owned by the left.

00:27:36.600 Those big five firms are worth more than all of Europe, combined market cap.

00:27:41.700 They're not going to tax their buddies.

00:27:43.220 They're going to tax you.

00:27:43.920 And the carried interest is the one thing to take out.

00:27:48.440 Dave, what's your Getter social media handle?

00:27:51.140 People can follow you.

00:27:52.680 Yep.

00:27:52.920 Getter.

00:28:14.940 Thank you.

00:28:16.440 Somebody else is under constant attack.

00:28:18.480 That would be Naomi Wolf. 0.75

00:28:19.840 But I think her prescriptions are right.

00:28:22.260 All next.

00:28:23.940 In Joe Biden's America, criminals are exalted and the police are condemned.

00:29:40.020 But as we saw time and again, he showed that he had contempt for classified information.

00:29:47.780 And, you know, the Washington Post this morning is saying that Garland called Trump's bluff yesterday.

00:29:54.280 But I think it's more than that.

00:29:55.660 He called out with his just the facts, ma'am approach.

00:30:02.000 He called out Donald Trump's bluster.

00:30:04.740 He called out Donald Trump's bluster and his lies, his BS. 0.97

00:30:11.080 And you just get the sense that from the start of this, Trump has known that he's a corrupt politician who's been cornered. 0.87

00:30:22.640 And so what has he done?

00:30:25.180 He's refused to release the documents.

00:30:27.600 He could have released the documents at any time.

00:30:31.160 And instead, he's been whipping up a frenzy against the FBI and against law enforcement officers.

00:30:37.540 And we saw the consequences of that yesterday, most likely.

00:30:41.080 If the reporting is correct.

00:30:44.420 Then sure enough, just as I've been warning on this show every day.

00:30:49.460 The irresponsible voices on the Trump right are ginning up hatred against our FBI, against law enforcement agents, against the very people that they once claimed to support.

00:31:04.720 And while they're whipping them into this frenzy, they're putting the lives.

00:31:08.620 They're putting they're putting targets on the back of FBI agents and they know who they are.

00:31:13.960 And they were still doing it last night on TV, even after.

00:31:21.640 Somebody tried to break in to the FBI bureau in Ohio.

00:31:29.520 Yeah.

00:31:30.160 And cause harm to agents.

00:31:31.480 And the person.

00:31:32.080 That's morning, Mika, and that's Joe Scarborough, the failed politician.

00:31:39.280 Remember, I think you've sent two or three terms in Congress before a intern inadvertently died in his his local office.

00:31:46.840 And he had to then quit to go spend more quality time with his then wife, by the way, this whole nonsense about called Trump's blow.

00:31:56.860 First of all, he couldn't release the documents, the whole legal process you have to go through.

00:32:00.020 However, these guys walked into a trap, you do understand this Garland and the FBI, the traps about to close on them. 0.89

00:32:08.820 This is what buffoon, buffoons, the mainstream media are Garland called the trap, called the bluff.

00:32:15.180 Just make sure you put in perspective Garland had senior because Newsweeks are not of it. 0.92

00:32:20.660 Look, I don't agree with the ideology, right?

00:32:23.260 Although Darren Beattie and Steve Cortez and Boris are now columnist over there.

00:32:26.560 Darren Beattie's got his first column up today, but the news were they had two senior executives, senior officials in the Justice Department that had direct knowledge of the matter, authorized to speak.

00:32:38.040 With anonymity to to Newsweek to say we had nothing to do.

00:32:43.040 This is all the FBI.

00:32:44.840 Those guys directly report to Merrick Garland and Merrick Garland came in this fiasco, this firestorm now had to take responsibility for it yesterday and then lie to you, said we do our talking through our filings.

00:32:55.620 We do our talking through court, left the stage, that little weasel left the stage with his breaking voice and about to cry and wetting himself, left the stage and leaked to the Washington Post dossier in the same group of scumbags that went all the way, went all the worlds because they're directly, they're basically typists, they're scribes to the Justice Department, the FBI, and put out this hoax on the nuclear, on all the nuclear secrets.

00:33:19.860 Let's see the affidavit today. 0.74

00:33:23.380 Let's see the inventory and let's see the facts.

00:33:25.400 Let's get the receipts and we'll see how many resignations we get.

00:33:28.960 I'm all over and Joe Scarborough, you can say what you want, but we're going to get the scalps of Ray and Garland on this.

00:33:36.040 David Brooks in the New York Times and George Will in the Washington Post, two Trump haters from the old Republican Party are today saying that this debacle by the, yes, the Gestapo that is the FBI.

00:33:51.300 If the FBI wants me to stop calling them that, they should stop putting guys, 70-year-old Peter Navarro, in chains in an airport.

00:33:58.240 They should stop going out to a gold star mother who gave the ultimate sacrifice, her son in defense of his country and chaining her up like a dog in Colorado.

00:34:09.280 You stop acting like the Gestapo and I'll stop calling you the Gestapo.

00:34:13.500 Until then, you're the new American Gestapo and I don't care who doesn't like it.

00:34:17.240 I don't care if MSC or Rachel Maddow or NPR, okay, we're out to make sure that, by the way, they're going to be defunded.

00:34:25.680 We're going to use appropriation prize, going to be defunded and dismantled.

00:34:29.520 If there's going to be a federal investigative police force, it has to be rebuilt from the ground up.

00:34:34.860 I want to go to Naomi Wolf for a second because you've been, the administrative state has also come after you.

00:34:39.580 You've been a truth teller from day one and now we know from CDC, we'll get to that in a second, but you've been attacked relentlessly, Naomi Wolf.

00:34:47.220 Walk us through that.

00:34:49.180 Yeah, it's a really sad time for America on many fronts.

00:34:55.040 And one of them is personally very, very scary and upsetting.

00:34:58.200 I found out two Fridays ago through an America First legal FOIA, and God bless them, they secured 268 internal documents from the CDC and my lawyer sent me my tweet in those documents and said, you're named in here.

00:35:20.080 And to my horror, indeed, someone named Carol Crawford, who is the digital outreach director of the CDC, the agency that uses our tax dollars to protect Americans from harm and disease.

00:35:35.740 She is coordinating with Todd O'Brien, I gather, with Twitter, a bunch of other Twitter people and the census guy for some reason.

00:35:46.900 And she is coordinating longstanding conferences to address misinformation with big tech.

00:35:56.200 And then she uses law enforcement language, which is super scary. 0.93

00:35:59.320 And I'll get to the tweet itself in a minute.

00:36:00.860 But she said, also, we are standing up a BOLO COVID misinformation meeting and inviting all tech platforms.

00:36:09.400 And indeed, it turns out that they were working with Twitter, Facebook, Google, and the census.

00:36:17.920 And the reason the census is so scary is that they have all of your personal information.

00:36:23.380 So they were breaching confidentiality on multiple fronts and unlawfully, it appears, coordinating with for-profit companies to suppress the First Amendment rights of American citizens.

00:36:36.160 So here's the tweet that so upset her.

00:36:39.580 However, it's me saying hundreds of women on this page say they are having bleeding or clotting after vaccination or that they bleed oddly being around vaccinated women, which actually many, many women were saying.

00:36:55.800 And the volunteers, the Pfizer research team volunteers have identified that Pfizer defines the exposure to the vaccine as including inhalation and skin contact, as well as sexual intercourse.

00:37:10.600 So shedding is a real thing, according to Pfizer.

00:37:13.480 And then I said, unconfirmed needs more investigation, but lots of reports.

00:37:20.360 And that was what I tweeted.

00:37:22.640 And in doing that, I'm doing exactly what I've been doing for 35 years, Steve.

00:37:27.920 I'm being an investigative reporter with a primary focus in three previous bestsellers on women's health, women's sexual health, women's reproductive health.

00:37:37.780 When hundreds of women report menstrual irregularity, heavy bleeding, extended bleeding, two periods a month, things I won't even go into that are horrible.

00:37:47.640 It's it's a red flag.

00:37:49.580 And you don't need to be, you know, a rocket scientist to know that.

00:37:54.340 And Brownstone points out that as far as they know, among those targeted was Naomi Wolf, who, so far as I know, says the wonderful Jeffrey Tucker was the first to reveal the relationship between vaccination and irregular menstrual patterns.

00:38:09.200 For talking about this subject, she was permanently banned from Twitter.

00:38:12.620 This direct hit was ordered by the CDC itself.

00:38:15.680 Again, the CDC digital director used a law enforcement term, B-O-L-O, be on the lookout.

00:38:22.960 So in my in my book, The Bodies of Others, I describe what happened on the receiving end.

00:38:28.700 I didn't have this information from the inside of the CDC at that time.

00:38:31.960 But on the receiving end, I sure felt the massive power of Twitter and Facebook and Google and the United States government at the highest levels slamming down on me for for reporting something that was true.

00:38:45.280 I was deplatformed from Twitter.

00:38:47.300 But Twitter also apparently took.

00:38:49.500 Sorry.

00:38:51.620 No, go.

00:38:52.520 Keep going.

00:38:53.020 Keep.

00:38:53.240 Oh, thank you.

00:38:54.100 Twitter also apparently took tweets that I composed and immediately deleted because they were badly worded.

00:38:59.560 They only existed in the ether.

00:39:01.660 Twitter kind of resuscitated them somehow.

00:39:04.700 And and they also took tweets of mine out of context.

00:39:07.340 And then they went to all these news outlets that I've written for, been a columnist for or that syndicate me for the last 35 years, like The Guardian, like the BBC, people who are getting millions of dollars from the federal government or from the Gates Foundation to engage in COVID education, meaning smearing people like me, who raise criticisms of.

00:39:28.740 The mRNA vaccines, for instance, and and then there was this like global smear campaign that that might my career.

00:39:36.140 I try not to whine, especially not on your show, but my career has not recovered from it.

00:39:40.660 I was called that as crazy.

00:39:43.360 I was called a conspiracy theorist.

00:39:45.880 I was called counterfactual.

00:39:48.200 Media Matters came out and attacked me for this accurate reporting.

00:39:52.380 No, no, no.

00:39:53.640 Here's what's interesting.

00:39:54.720 Here's.

00:39:54.880 But here's the big proponents of women's rights and women, you know, they did all things. 0.92

00:39:59.800 She's hysterical. 0.98

00:40:01.000 She's crazy. 0.93

00:40:02.260 I mean, they made all the smears they try to make when a woman stands up and says, hey, here's the way it is and puts out the facts. 0.97

00:40:08.400 That's what I found most fascinating.

00:40:09.740 All these proponents, the attacks on you were 1000 percent misogynist.

00:40:16.080 I mean, I was kind of stunned how brutally and quite frankly, you're an apostate, right? 1.00

00:40:21.140 You used to be part of the club.

00:40:23.160 And now you're saying, hey, you guys are.

00:40:25.460 I don't know what you guys are looking at, but you're not looking at information.

00:40:28.300 I've only got so much time.

00:40:29.420 I got to get to this because I said the CDC.

00:40:36.020 You got to help me out here.

00:40:37.100 But the CDC and I thought this was a parody at first.

00:40:40.440 It was it was like the the IRS one ad the other day.

00:40:44.620 I thought these are memes up on Getter or on true social that people are just making up.

00:40:48.900 They're so good.

00:40:49.880 The IRS thing.

00:40:50.520 You got to be ready to lose lethal force.

00:40:52.100 We were a day after reporting that because I had to ascertain it was actually true, which is was the CDC.

00:40:58.200 Correct me if I'm wrong, because I am far from an expert.

00:41:00.360 I depend upon guys like you and Malone and all the all the you know, the the guys that help us out.

00:41:05.540 Did they just come out yesterday and put out a statement that in future treatment or in protecting us?

00:41:13.000 It's no difference between vaccinated and unvaccinated.

00:41:16.380 Did I read that correctly or is that also a parody?

00:41:19.900 You know, it sounds like a parody.

00:41:21.820 It is tragically true.

00:41:24.300 It's literally like the last year and a half of the president and the CDC saying,

00:41:29.500 go ahead and create a two tier discrimination society, exactly like Jim Crow laws, divide Americans into clean and unclean. 0.91

00:41:38.380 You know, the vaccine, the unvaccinated can kill you, can kill your mom. 0.68

00:41:42.520 A winter of death and destruction from the unvaccinated. 1.00

00:41:45.820 We're losing patients with the unvaccinated. 1.00

00:41:47.680 You have to stay home.

00:41:48.760 You have to lose your career in the military.

00:41:51.000 You know, you have to lose your career as a first responder or be forced to have these mRNA injections with your.

00:41:56.000 Now we know catastrophic and lethal possible side effects that all vanished into thin air.

00:42:01.760 It's over.

00:42:02.740 Oops.

00:42:03.180 Sorry, you're fine.

00:42:04.680 I just I sent that to my mom and said, please send this to all of my extended family so that they can stop discriminating against us after a year and a half.

00:42:14.760 It's it's like it's like the end of the Wizard of Oz.

00:42:17.840 It all vanishes in a puff of smoke and nothing's changed.

00:42:21.440 Like the science hasn't changed.

00:42:23.160 Vaccinated and unvaccinated people were always exactly identically a threat or not a threat to everyone else. 1.00

00:42:30.440 There was no difference.

00:42:32.140 We've got as soon as this firestorm in Mar-a-Lago ends, we're going to get you back and we got to spend more time on the research, everything just real quickly.

00:42:38.560 Give daily cloud.

00:42:39.320 How do people go?

00:42:40.540 How they still volunteer?

00:42:41.600 How they support?

00:42:42.360 And then what's your social media?

00:42:43.460 Yeah, I'll tell you.

00:42:45.180 But I want to warn that what I was deplatformed for turns out to have caused predictably massive miscarriages and spontaneous abortions, which we can talk about next time.

00:42:56.300 In the meantime, that's much more serious than anything that's happened to me professionally or personally.

00:43:00.880 In the meantime, you can come to daily cloud dot I.

00:43:04.220 Oh, you can read all the reports right there by the amazing war room daily cloud Pfizer research volunteers.

00:43:11.580 You can buy the bodies of others in which you can read about my deplatforming, and you can find me on there.

00:43:19.480 Thank you, Steve.

00:43:20.540 I'll tell you what, Dr. Wolfe, we're going to reach out to you here momentarily.

00:43:23.500 We'll try to get you on the afternoon show.

00:43:24.840 Got to go through all the new updates.

00:43:27.100 It's too vitally important.

00:43:28.940 Dr. Naomi Wolfe, thank you.

00:43:30.880 Okay.

00:43:31.180 Alex Moyer, a great young filmmaker, next in the war room.

00:43:39.080 With the recent rulings from the Supreme Court, it's worth mentioning that these wins didn't happen on their own.

00:45:14.140 Alex Jones.

00:45:15.600 The story you're about to see is true.

00:45:17.760 This is reality.

00:45:19.420 Truth is stranger than fiction.

00:45:23.120 I'm the most banned, most demonized media person in the world. 0.94

00:45:26.600 Alex Jones is a fake. 0.92

00:45:27.820 He's a performance artist. 1.00

00:45:29.120 I'm perceived as a clown, a nut, a maniac. 0.97

00:45:31.680 On his website, InfoWars, he touts... 0.99

00:45:36.140 The sickest, most offensive theories.

00:45:40.880 Alex Jones claims that 9-11 and the Oklahoma City bombings were inside jobs.

00:45:46.560 Don't you stand for America, sir?

00:45:48.280 He said, me and Hillary are demons.

00:45:52.140 Ain't that something? 1.00

00:45:53.420 You'll burn in hell! 0.99

00:45:54.460 I met him back in 1990s. 0.99

00:45:57.300 I knew right away he was going to be a star.

00:45:59.840 How's my hair looking?

00:46:00.600 I saw all these conspiracy terrorists that were talking about the New World Order.

00:46:03.740 And I thought, that's what I'll do.

00:46:05.080 Get it, Alex.

00:46:06.200 Step to the New World Order!

00:46:08.340 It was that attack on humanity that I saw early on that I really wanted to waste war on.

00:46:12.220 You're lying to the public. 0.99

00:46:13.380 It's disgusting. 1.00

00:46:14.240 Once you taste that, there's no going back.

00:46:19.040 Everything's a war.

00:46:19.720 That's the way the universe works.

00:46:21.360 And everything is propaganda.

00:46:23.040 I don't trust Donald Trump.

00:46:24.620 But I agree with probably 95% of what Donald Trump says.

00:46:28.060 Your reputation's amazing.

00:46:29.960 I will not let you down.

00:46:32.620 That's when the media took the gloves off.

00:46:35.180 Alex Jones said the Sandy Hook shooting, which claimed the lives of 20 children, was fake.

00:46:40.220 I try to tell the truth, and sometimes I'm wrong.

00:46:42.460 Did the New York Times get in trouble for consciously lying about WMDs that then led to a war, killed tens of thousands in conflict?

00:46:49.160 No.

00:46:50.500 The attempts to be platformers have failed.

00:46:52.900 They'd have the CIA, the FBI following me around.

00:46:55.500 Now we've got to destroy Alex Jones.

00:46:57.320 We're not playing games here.

00:46:58.560 This is such a historic moment together.

00:47:01.700 USA!

00:47:03.080 USA!

00:47:04.160 It's all just insane. 0.52

00:47:06.140 Okay, let's put me in prison for questioning, okay, even though that's my right. 0.95

00:47:09.520 In fact, let's execute Alex Jones. 0.99

00:47:10.680 Let's put me in front of a firing squad, pull the trigger. 0.99

00:47:14.940 I have a sick feeling, actually, because I know what comes next.

00:47:18.160 An absolutely incredible film, Alex's War, about Alex Jones, the good, the bad, and the ugly.

00:47:31.540 I want to bring in the brilliant filmmaker, Alex Moyer.

00:47:34.120 First off, why Alex Jones, why at this time?

00:47:38.300 I know how long it takes to make a film, how long you have to be dedicated to it.

00:47:41.680 Why did you pick Alex Jones?

00:47:44.320 Because it seems like, I would throw it out there, you're maybe not, you don't agree with

00:47:49.000 our underlying political or philosophical beliefs.

00:47:52.760 So why would you take a topic that you would have to really live with for so long and make

00:47:57.320 a film about it, ma'am?

00:48:00.400 Well, I don't know if, I mean, I don't know where you heard that.

00:48:03.440 I fundamentally don't agree with the, I personally feel politically homeless, so

00:48:09.160 I don't consider myself a liberal or a conservative.

00:48:11.920 But I do care really deeply about free speech, and I do care really deeply about authenticity

00:48:18.860 and filmmaking, and I'm deeply interested in the culture wars and everything that's happening

00:48:24.600 in this country right now.

00:48:26.100 And I thought that what better way to get to the heart of the matter than to make a film

00:48:30.540 about Alex.

00:48:31.320 So it's an extremely motivating topic for me, and it was a lot of fun to do, and it was

00:48:38.880 one of the great ventures of my life.

00:48:41.920 How do people get to this film?

00:48:45.220 Because as I told Alex, we're going to do a two-hour special with Alex tomorrow.

00:48:48.840 It is absolutely, it's one of the most dynamic films I've seen as a documentary filmmaker.

00:48:55.120 You absolutely nail the topic.

00:48:57.940 You nail the man.

00:48:58.980 I mean, you get to this.

00:49:00.080 So how do people actually get access to this so they can see it now?

00:49:04.620 Well, you know, by the grace of God, you can watch it on Amazon.

00:49:08.960 You can watch it on iTunes.

00:49:10.780 We weren't sure that we were going to be allowed access to those platforms because of Alex's

00:49:16.380 situation.

00:49:17.160 And although we have been banned from promoting on a lot of the social media platforms, we've

00:49:22.620 been able to keep the film available for streaming on all those major outlets.

00:49:27.480 But it's also available on Rumble, Locals, Rockfin, Odyssey, you know, as a backup.

00:49:35.080 And if you want to support some of those smaller platforms.

00:49:37.340 As an advocate of free speech, tell me what you learned about this that you didn't know

00:49:43.820 going in.

00:49:44.380 As you made this film and had to live with the subject and the man himself, what did you

00:49:48.760 learn about free speech in the United States of America, supposedly the home of free speech?

00:49:54.340 Um, I, I learned that, uh, you know, free speech is not necessarily ensured to you by the constitution.

00:50:02.620 It can, it's definitely already been, um, as we've seen, uh, compromised and chipped away

00:50:08.080 at little by little over the, you know, well for longer than a decade, but it's really kicked

00:50:13.360 into high gear and accelerated now as you of course have experienced yourself, Steve.

00:50:18.060 And, uh, I'm just lucky that, um, I was able to get this, this film out there and, um, sort

00:50:25.240 of put Alex within his context and really show that, you know, he, he is sort of, um, what's

00:50:32.500 happened in his life is sort of a watershed event for free speech in America.

00:50:36.480 And what's happening to him really does sort of is an indication for what can happen in

00:50:40.880 the future.

00:50:41.340 So we all need to be paying attention to what happens with Alex right now.

00:50:47.480 Okay.

00:50:48.040 That's so it's a watershed moment.

00:50:50.340 It's a hinge of history.

00:50:52.100 Tell us, as you see it being a filmmaker that's made this, how do you see this topic evolving

00:50:57.340 over the next couple of years, given the social media, the, given the social media oligarchs

00:51:01.220 are trying to shut you down, the shutting Alex Jones down, all of us, how do you see this

00:51:04.900 developing?

00:51:05.340 Well, the strangest thing that I see happening right now is mainstream liberalism and the

00:51:12.460 legacy media convincing people that, uh, somehow, uh, almost seemingly overnight that free speech

00:51:18.760 doesn't matter.

00:51:19.460 And that, uh, it's shouldn't be important to them because if you're not, uh, using hate

00:51:24.700 speech, then you don't need to worry about anything, um, happening to, to, to your rights.

00:51:29.920 Um, but of course that's all just corporate messaging and, uh, it's just kind of amazing,

00:51:37.000 um, how fast they've been able to change the psychological makeup of, of, you know, what

00:51:42.200 we know is a classical liberalism in this country to a group of people who, um, prize themselves

00:51:47.440 on defending free speech to basically advocating censorship, everyday people advocating for

00:51:52.940 censorship.

00:51:53.300 So that's been really a disturbing trend to me, but at the same time, what people are

00:51:57.960 noticing is that content is sort of getting more boring, less challenging, less interesting.

00:52:04.560 And, uh, you know, in the free market of ideas, I think interesting content is ultimately going

00:52:09.240 to prevail.

00:52:09.720 So I do think that there is a light at the end of the tunnel.

00:52:14.440 How do people follow you on social media to get to, uh, and to get to the film?

00:52:18.720 Um, well, I, I personally avoid most social media, but you can look at, uh, uh, Alex's
