Bannon's War Room - Episode 2113： The Continued Assault On The Border; Children being Trafficked And Found Unresponsive Across The Southern Border; America's Economic Nightmare And Europe's Energy Disaster

00:00:00.000 We're doing two mountains. This is the low point where they come through. You can see the water bottle there that was left by leftist activists.

00:00:10.000 And on the US side, on all these high points, the cartel has lookouts depending on where they're running their people and their drugs.

00:00:18.000 The border road is right there. Right on the other side where the wall ends, we've got the Sinaloa Drug Cartel who control this whole area.

00:00:26.000 Running their people and their drugs through this area nonstop, being aided and abetted by leftist enemies within.

00:00:35.000 We're going to go up and show you some of their bunkers now.

00:00:37.000 It's gotten so bad, basically Border Patrol doesn't even come out here anymore.

00:00:41.000 Their resources are stretched so thin, they sit 30 miles away and hope that they catch the cars as they're coming through or the people as they're going across the desert.

00:00:54.000 And they're only getting a fraction of what's coming. They should be right here, all along our border.

00:01:01.000 This is the border right there.

00:01:04.000 We've got a cartel on these mountains over here.

00:01:07.000 Bunkers fighting against the cartel up on top of this mountain here for control of this area. 0.88

00:01:15.000 I couldn't see any sign of life over in the bunkers that are over here.

00:01:19.000 From what we understand, these were El Chapo's sons who were trying to take over the Sinaloa Cartel.

00:01:25.000 But up on here on top of the mountain, we saw lots of signs of life.

00:01:29.000 So it looks like Tim Foley of Arizona Border Recon has seen firefights between them.

00:01:33.000 It looks like this cartel has come over and taken out this cartel.

00:01:37.000 I couldn't tell if those were bodies on the ground or just burned out camps.

00:01:41.000 But this one is well-fortified, heavily armed, and in continuous operation right on the Mexico side of the border, right where the wall ends.

00:01:51.000 This is Joe Biden's America.

00:01:52.000 And as people are being distracted, as we're pulling Border Patrol resources to the other parts to process the fake asylum seekers,

00:01:59.000 we are giving up our country to armed cartels that are simply walking in with their drugs and their slaves.

00:02:06.000 We need our dollars being spent to secure our border, not Ukraine's. 0.99

00:02:11.000 This should not be allowed to happen.

00:02:13.000 We should not have armed combatants permanently staged on our border and inside of our border.

00:02:20.000 This is a war. We're just losing it.

00:02:23.000 Because every single day, the leftists that put this water out for the cartels grow stronger and more emboldened.

00:02:34.000 And the cartels do as well.

00:02:36.000 This man is sleeping. Look at this man.

00:02:54.000 This is a travesty, my brother. I know what I think he's coming from here. 1.00

00:02:57.000 This is a travesty.

00:02:59.000 Look, you're not answering me. Calm down.

00:03:01.000 Calm down.

00:03:12.000 You're coming in with that attitude.

00:03:14.000 You're coming in with a country where you belong to. 0.75

00:03:18.000 The cintas are not protected.

00:03:19.000 You're coming with that attitude.

00:03:20.000 The cintas are protected.

00:03:21.000 The cintas are protected.

00:03:22.000 Keep your cintas. 0.73

00:03:24.000 Oh, this guy right here, man.

00:03:26.000 You're not getting up with the baby.

00:03:29.000 No, it's a deep one.

00:03:31.000 No.

00:03:32.000 It's bad what you're doing.

00:03:35.000 No, it's bad.

00:03:36.000 No, it's bad.

00:03:37.000 I hope they're doing a report right now.

00:03:39.000 That's bad.

00:03:40.000 I'm very against the trafficking of people and more children. 0.99

00:03:43.000 That kid is drugged.

00:03:45.000 No, sir.

00:03:46.000 It's bad.

00:03:47.000 It's bad.

00:03:51.000 Totally unresponsive to the light.

00:03:54.000 Anybody would be responsive to this bright light in their face.

00:03:57.000 No responde ni a la luz. Ni a la luz responde. That kid is not even responding to the light.

00:04:27.000 Alien migration sweep into the United States. An invasion on the southern border. Daily mail. In fact, we can put that map up if we get a chance. 4.9 million. Remember, we had Todd Benzman and others on a couple weeks ago. We walked through the math. Other news organizations have picked it up. 4.9 million. 4.9 million illegal aliens now in the country in the first 18 months of the Biden administration. Every month's a record. We're going to go and cover it all today.

00:04:53.500 Also, Europe, the collapse of the European economies, particularly France and Germany. We're going to talk about the economy. We're talking about how it impacts the United States, how this invasion impacts the United States as we are 70 days away now from the run up. All kind of psyops coming out on the polling about the midterm elections. Everybody take a deep breath. We're going to break that all down to the CBS numbers they're coming out with. They're only going to win 12 seats. The numbers are actually, when you look at them, quite strong.

00:05:20.820 So let's just get focused and stay, boom, on message. We're staying on our mission, right? Our mission is to blow out the Democratic Party on November 8th. We're going to go around. We're going to go from El Paso, Texas and talking about Yuma. We're going to be in Tijuana.

00:05:36.020 Also, Ben Burkwam and this amazing reporting he's done on the cartels outside of Tucson, Arizona. Let's start with Anthony Aguero. He's in El Paso, Texas. But that footage, very disturbing, Anthony, is from the Yuma sector.

00:05:50.680 Correct me if I'm wrong, brother. The sector you were in doing this nighttime patrols you were doing with the Border Patrol. I thought Doug Ducey secured this with the tractor trailers.

00:06:02.540 I thought the trailers were double stacked and that he had now secured. He built his own wall finally. Tell me what went on. What did we see right there? Very disturbing with the children, particularly the one that was unresponsive.

00:06:18.820 That's right, Steve. So what we're witnessing out there in Arizona with Governor Ducey is just another clown show. 0.96

00:06:26.100 These containers are not stopping absolutely nothing. All they're doing is basically shifting all of that traffic away from the public eye view.

00:06:35.500 Every night that we were out there, we witnessed an average of about 800 individuals coming in every single night.

00:06:42.280 At some times, Border Patrol was not even out there to receive these people and take them into custody immediately.

00:06:49.680 Some of the times, individuals walk right into the community.

00:06:52.680 So when you have governors like Governor Ducey touting and popping up there.

00:06:56.400 We just dropped the signal from El Paso. That's okay. We'll get him back up. Anthony's in El Paso, Texas.

00:07:04.120 In fact, he's going to be visiting our wall today. We'll have more reporting on that.

00:07:08.420 But his reporting essentially is 800 individuals a night just coming through that one sector that Ducey says is secure.

00:07:15.320 And of course, I think a big portion is he's back up. Anthony, in your footage that we've been able to watch, it seems a large portion of these are children.

00:07:26.620 Is this being trafficked by the cartels? Is this human trafficking? Are these actually accompanied children?

00:07:32.700 And what percentage of the 800 a night are children?

00:07:35.200 So that particular night, Steve, we witnessed about 200 kids as family units coming in with multiple adults.

00:07:43.640 It's been about 800 adults every single night consistently for the last five nights that we were out there.

00:07:50.200 And so basically all they did was move the people that are coming in every night away from public eye view.

00:07:56.140 And they're just continue to come in every single night.

00:07:58.800 We also witnessed a woman come in completely distraught that had just been sexually abused on American soil right on the other side of the wall.

00:08:07.340 This particular area of the border, I'm sorry to tell you, is not secure.

00:08:11.360 If this individual really wanted to secure the border, Steve, he would actually implicate Article 1, Section 10, Clause 3 of the Constitution, just like Governor Abbott.

00:08:22.820 All of these shipping containers cost the taxpayers of Arizona $6 million, when an average container only costs you about $4,500.

00:08:34.480 Now, one thing that we want to point out also talking about these governors is that Governor Abbott shipping all these individuals to New York.

00:08:42.980 When I see people clapping for this behavior, I'm downfounded simply because in 2010, Steve, if we go back to 2010 census, for every 770,000 illegal aliens that filled out the 2010 U.S. census in a sanctuary city or state, the Democrats added another U.S. House of Representatives seat to them.

00:09:06.960 So this is not helping anybody whatsoever.

00:09:09.980 We need to do something better at our southern border.

00:09:14.800 I just want to go over this.

00:09:16.680 The child that was not responsive, are these children, were that the parents?

00:09:21.780 Do we have any way of understanding even the 200?

00:09:24.840 Does the Border Patrol have any way, and I'll bring Burkwam in here in a second, do they have any way of understanding who are actually, are these accompanied by their parents or relatives?

00:09:35.120 Are these children just being trafficked into the United States?

00:09:38.620 A lot of the times these children are just being trafficked.

00:09:42.200 They go basically unchecked and unvetted.

00:09:44.920 Unless the child actually is telling on these individuals, hey, this is not my parents, Border Patrol will basically do nothing and continue just to continue feeding the pipeline, Steve.

00:09:55.660 Okay, just hang right there, Anthony.

00:09:59.320 Anthony's in El Paso today.

00:10:00.580 We're going to come back to him in a minute.

00:10:01.720 We've got Oscar Ramirez in Tijuana, and we've got Ben Burkwam, who did this amazing reporting outside of Tucson.

00:10:09.220 Ben, there was an incident, I think, in the Tucson sector overnight or over the weekend.

00:10:14.320 An 18-month-year-old and a 4-month-year-old were found just wandering around.

00:10:19.280 Is this unresponsive, the children who had essentially been abandoned?

00:10:26.140 Yeah, unfortunately, Steve, you see this everywhere now.

00:10:29.060 This is the current status of our border.

00:10:33.960 It's out of control.

00:10:35.320 And in places like Tucson, the sad reality is you don't have Border Patrol agents down there to staff it in order to even know what's coming through.

00:10:41.980 And they are sending children through in these places, too.

00:10:44.360 These are the areas that we were showing down there where the cartel has their bunkers set up.

00:10:49.200 This is completely controlled by the cartels.

00:10:51.280 They're sending drugs and people, child trafficking.

00:10:53.860 And to dig more in on the question about those children down there, this that Anthony is reporting on,

00:10:59.360 that is the location where I interviewed the Border Patrol, the former Border Patrol sector chief in Yuma.

00:11:05.260 And he said they had one child that was recycled, they call it recycling, where they're used by adults sent across and then sent back to the cartel to be used again.

00:11:13.640 One child was recycled 17 times there.

00:11:16.220 They estimate, Border Patrol estimates, that a minimum of one-third of the children that are coming across do not belong to the adults that they're coming across with.

00:11:23.780 But because they've been sued by the ACLU and other leftist organizations,

00:11:27.420 the same leftist organizations that are aiding and abetting the invasion into our country,

00:11:31.260 they're not allowed to do biometric testing.

00:11:32.960 So this is, it is an absolute catastrophe.

00:11:36.640 It's a humanitarian disaster.

00:11:38.500 We are aiding and abetting the trafficking of children along with drugs and everything else that you see.

00:11:43.860 I want you guys to hang through the break.

00:11:45.720 We're going to stay over for another segment.

00:11:46.900 But if Real America's Voice, if Denver could put back up the B-roll of Ben, I want to address this for a second.

00:11:53.120 Because Oscar's going to talk to us in a second from Tijuana about the record number of caravans.

00:11:59.260 Every month we're setting a record for the number of illegals coming in here or people seeking asylum under false pretenses, right? 0.98

00:12:07.600 We're setting records.

00:12:09.100 There are 4.9 million now in the first 18 months.

00:12:12.180 This footage of Ben Burkwam is so important because you're showing an enormously complicated and sophisticated series of forts and dugouts

00:12:23.540 and basically processing to make sure they can get the drugs, the fentanyl, and the human trafficking across.

00:12:31.400 This is tied back.

00:12:32.600 This is indestructibly linked.

00:12:33.720 This is the tip of their spear right at the southern border of the United States.

00:12:38.360 But that's what they're promising and they're getting paid for by the people that are giving money to be trafficked in here.

00:12:46.760 And, of course, they're doing the drugs with the Chinese tongs and obviously the cartels themselves are bringing the fentanyl in. 0.90

00:12:52.860 This shows you Ben's footage is so amazing, Ben, because that's as sophisticated as like Army Special Forces or Marine Special Forces.

00:13:01.880 I mean, these guys have really got these very sophisticated networks up there.

00:13:05.000 Can you explain it to us for a second?

00:13:06.180 Yeah, it is.

00:13:08.880 It's sophisticated.

00:13:09.740 It's well-armed.

00:13:10.300 These guys are making billions of dollars.

00:13:12.200 They have the best weapons in the industry.

00:13:14.960 I witnessed visibly myself multiple AK-47s.

00:13:19.740 They've got any weapon that they want, they've got up there.

00:13:22.360 And it's coordinated.

00:13:23.140 The level of coordination is tough to imagine.

00:13:25.880 If these guys weren't criminal, evil, terrorist cartel members, they'd be really sophisticated business operators.

00:13:31.380 This is a military-style operation on the border of the U.S.-Mexico border that enters the United States.

00:13:39.700 Well, look, it's a huge business.

00:13:42.520 It's a sophisticated business.

00:13:44.380 They're very smart on the business side. 0.94

00:13:46.200 Look, they're evil and they will kill you and they think nothing of people.

00:13:51.260 You made a very good point. 0.99

00:13:52.360 This is drugs and slaves. 0.96

00:13:54.480 This is slaves.

00:13:55.280 This is human slavery and they're trafficking in slavery.

00:13:58.080 And it's open.

00:13:59.720 It's not that we don't know this.

00:14:01.040 Everybody knows it.

00:14:02.080 It's open.

00:14:03.400 Everybody understands what's going on.

00:14:06.600 They're exacerbating and looking the other way.

00:14:08.440 Hang on, Ben.

00:14:08.880 Just hang on for once.

00:14:09.900 Yeah, go ahead.

00:14:10.720 Yeah.

00:14:11.940 Yeah, and rather than actually doing anything, I mean, right where I was standing, we could put an army unit or a military unit out there and stop this.

00:14:18.920 But they're taking Border Patrol away and sending them to places like Eagle Pass to process more illegals, these fake asylum seekers. 1.00

00:14:26.340 It's just we're doing the exact opposite of what we should be doing as a nation.

00:14:30.500 4.9 million.

00:14:33.380 And that's the Daily Mail went back and checked every different group and derived the same number that Todd Benzman in the war room did a couple of weeks ago.

00:14:39.760 Okay, short commercial break.

00:14:41.120 Steve Cortez is going to join us.

00:14:42.420 We're going to go to Tijuana with Oscar Ramirez.

00:14:45.780 Talk about the caravans, record caravans in August heading north.

00:14:49.460 All of it next in the war room.

00:14:51.060 You know what's never good?

00:15:01.340 When your nation's supposed authority on economic policy completely misses the flashing red lights of impending inflation.

00:15:09.280 Now Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen has finally admitted, quote, there's been an unanticipated and large shocks to the economy that have boosted energy and food prices and supply bottlenecks that affected our economy badly that I didn't at the time fully understand.

00:15:27.740 End quote.

00:15:28.100 You know who understands the real threat of inflation?

00:15:31.480 People who invested in gold and silver with Birch Gold Group.

00:15:36.080 They're protecting their savings from a highly turbulent economy by diversifying their 401k or IRA into gold, physical gold.

00:16:24.940 War Room Pandemic with Stephen K. Bannon.

00:16:28.620 The epidemic is a demon and we cannot let this demon hide.

00:16:32.420 War Room Pandemic.

00:16:34.600 Here's your host, Stephen K. Bannon.

00:16:36.900 Okay, we're purposely not starting in Mar-a-Lago because we're not going to be sucked into what the mainstream media wants you to focus on, right?

00:16:47.440 Which is this ridiculous administrative state librarian, which is the National Archives, debate over presidential records.

00:16:56.700 That's essentially what we're talking about, right?

00:16:58.260 In the presidential library, all of it. 0.80

00:17:00.360 Complete and total nonsense.

00:17:01.500 We're going to talk about the invasion of our country. 0.81

00:17:05.480 We're going to talk about the collapse of European economies, both of which are going to have a dramatic impact on you, the viewers of the show.

00:17:13.520 I want to go to Cortez and put it in perspective before we go back to Mexico with Oscar Blue Ramirez and the team at Real America's Voice.

00:17:22.560 Cortez, you have said from day one, right?

00:17:25.300 And I just want to remind people, on Friday, we played 18 months to the day in February of 2021, just barely 30 days into this illegitimate regime's tenure with control of the economy.

00:17:43.280 Cortez and I walked through chapter and verse of how you're going to have stagflation, a recession with inflation, right?

00:17:50.260 To the day, 26th February of 2021, you have then been, I think, the forefront of saying, hey, this is going to come down to inflation and immigration.

00:18:00.060 And that's where we wanted to start this morning on the southern border.

00:18:03.080 If we can get the Daily Mail's map up, you can take my beautiful smiling face off and put up Cortez that map.

00:18:09.300 That map was what Todd Bensman, as you remember, Steve, we went to with Todd a couple of weeks ago and the guys at CIS.

00:18:15.120 How many illegals have been here in the first 18 months?

00:18:18.040 Over 4 million.

00:18:20.080 And every month's a record.

00:18:22.120 Brother Ramirez is going to tell us from Tijuana a record number of caravans have launched in the month of August.

00:18:29.080 Ben Burquam's reporting from Tucson that they've got the most sophisticated, really, network of forts is what they are, and weigh stations.

00:18:36.660 They're very sophisticated weigh stations.

00:18:38.680 And then, you know, Anthony Aguero is saying, hey, whatever Ducey and Abbott are telling you, it's all happy talk, right?

00:18:43.880 They're putting tractor trailers up for photo ops, and they're 800 coming across a night with 200 children.

00:18:49.600 And we don't know how many of those are trafficked, though Ben Burquam tells us, Border Patrol says at least a third are trafficked into human slavery.

00:18:57.160 And remember, they're here in the most depraved form of sexual depravity.

00:19:02.960 That's what they're trafficked here for.

00:19:04.280 So I want to make sure everybody understands it's your tax dollars paying for that.

00:19:07.880 Steve Cortez.

00:19:09.200 You know, Steve, such important points.

00:19:10.700 And to that point of the human degradation that's going on because of a lawless border, there is nothing compassionate.

00:19:16.080 There is nothing merciful about tolerating a lawless and porous American border because an authority will always intervene into a power vacuum.

00:19:24.940 And the authority, unfortunately, is the cartels of Mexico, which were already powerful.

00:19:29.200 But there has been such a historic transfer of wealth, just a monumental transfer of wealth to those cartels that I fear that they're going to completely destabilize Mexico.

00:19:38.900 But getting back to the United States, Steve, you're exactly right.

00:19:41.140 The two eyes were and remain the critical issues for the upcoming midterm elections, immigration and inflation.

00:19:49.360 And they're very much related.

00:19:50.580 And I know we're going to get in a bit into the details of our faltering and really crashing American economy.

00:19:56.260 But regarding immigration, a couple points here.

00:19:58.200 One is that what is particularly disturbing about what's going on right now, present day at the border, Steve, is that the border this time of year is absolutely scorching hot.

00:20:08.420 So the fact that we have these kinds of record numbers with these kinds of temperatures outside tells me that things are going to get dramatically worse once the temperatures are actually a little more hospitable for crossing.

00:20:20.940 But then, you know, I think the second issue is, and this is something that we should we should be encouraged about, those of us who believe in sovereignty, those of us on the patriotic populist right, is that the American people are coming our way on this issue because of the creative crisis at the border from Joe Biden.

00:20:36.360 One, NPR polling, not a right wing organization by any stretch, NPR polling shows us that for the very first time ever in the history of their polling, a majority believe that there is a, quote, invasion at the southern border.

00:20:49.180 Fifty four percent of Americans believe there is an invasion to also show you the trend of people coming our way.

00:20:55.000 And this is why it pays to stake out the right policies, even when they're not popular at the time.

00:20:59.920 Over time, we persuade people. And Joe Biden has helped inadvertently persuade people through this crisis of the southern border.

00:21:06.880 Four years ago, that same NPR poll, when they asked about a border wall, 45 percent of Americans were strongly opposed to a border wall.

00:21:15.920 That number has gone all the way down to 27 percent today.

00:21:19.160 I believe it will soon go into the teens.

00:21:20.740 But the point is, the American people, the good, common sense citizens of this country, see the chaos of the border, realize that every town in America is a border town and are increasingly coming our way to a place demanding border security and the sovereignty of the United States for our national security, for street safety and for our economic well-being.

00:21:41.380 OK, let's go to let's go to Tijuana and Oscar Blue Ramirez.

00:21:46.220 Oscar, talk to us about the caravans. What can we expect?

00:21:49.300 It's it's only as Steve Cortez says, this is the most inhospitable time of year.

00:21:54.300 As the weather improves, it's going to get worse. Tell us what's going on right now.

00:21:59.280 Sir, good morning. Record breaking.

00:22:01.680 This is the month of record breaking caravans that they have been created.

00:22:05.520 The south border of Tapatula six caravans until now, sir.

00:22:09.280 We haven't finished August. So until now, six caravans, every single one of them has been between the quantities of 500 to 1,000.

00:22:17.880 One of them just left this morning of 1,000 individuals walking all the way to not even to the north state of Chiapas.

00:22:25.820 Sir, now they are processing them and the other state that is the state of Oaxaca.

00:22:30.100 So the whole system in Mexico and the whole system in the south border, it is so collapsed and it's so overwhelmed that now they're making them walk more than 120 kilometers to the other state.

00:22:42.700 So they can process their multiple migration form permit that allows them to walk freely into the northern borders, into the United States of America.

00:22:50.180 And also, sir, in addition to that, what we commentated before, the expulsion letter.

00:22:55.900 This has been a document that they're giving them and they are now processing that document for them to walk all the way to the north borders.

00:23:03.680 Watch out for that document because that will not give the United States of America the authority to deport them or to return them back to Mexico

00:23:11.140 because they've already been expelled from the country of Mexico, sir.

00:23:14.640 So six caravans, six caravans have been made on this month of August.

00:23:19.220 It is the record-breaking caravans in history since caravans started in the south border of Mexico, sir.

00:23:27.800 Oscar, the six caravans, where do you believe right now that they're headed?

00:23:31.940 Are they heading towards Eagle Pass and Del Rio?

00:23:35.960 Are they going to head to Yuma?

00:23:37.200 Are they heading to Tijuana?

00:23:38.740 Are they breaking up and going different directions?

00:23:41.140 What's your sense right now?

00:23:43.360 Well, it has been an influx a lot in Ciudad Juarez.

00:23:46.840 That is the border next to El Paso and also in Yuma, Arizona.

00:23:50.640 They already know that in Yuma they got open gaps, sir,

00:23:53.580 and they already know that there's places where they have the ability to deliver themselves

00:23:58.860 before they see the container, the so-called container wall.

00:24:02.980 They are delivering themselves, and they're much easier for them to be attended by the American authorities.

00:24:08.560 They're not going that much either more to Eagle Pass and also to the Del Rio sector.

00:24:13.560 Right now they're going a lot to Arizona, the Yuma sector, and ultimately also to El Paso, sir.

00:24:19.000 That's why you are seeing a huge increase in the area of Juarez and El Paso, Texas.

00:24:24.160 Oscar, just hang right there.

00:24:26.960 Let me go to Ben Burkwam.

00:24:28.000 Ben, is this why, is one of the reasons they're headed to the Tucson and Yuma areas,

00:24:32.120 that they have this more sophisticated operation for actually getting drugs and slaves across?

00:24:38.860 Yeah, it's a two-pronged effort, Steve.

00:24:41.500 So the cartel uses the people that are turning themselves in, these fake asylum seekers, 1.00

00:24:45.960 as the diversion to take Border Patrol resources.

00:24:49.240 And not just Border Patrol.

00:24:50.460 I was told that down there we've got air marshals, 10 air marshals stationed down in the Yuma tents

00:24:56.040 every single day trying to process these people.

00:24:58.300 They're bringing in different resources from all over the country.

00:25:00.960 Those guys are the distraction so that the drug cartels, 0.88

00:25:03.960 and let me just say this, the leftists in America,

00:25:06.320 we have evidence of organizations out of Tucson, groups like No More Deaths.

00:25:10.800 We actually flew over their camp, and just outside of Arivaca, Arizona,

00:25:16.460 where they are processing, it's a direct line.

00:25:18.820 So you've got the distraction in places like Yuma and Eagle Pass,

00:25:22.060 while the cartel is pushing their drugs and the high-value targets

00:25:24.540 and the slaves that they're pushing up through places like Arivaca into Tucson,

00:25:29.100 directly aided and abetted by leftist organizations in America.

00:25:33.740 Ben, how can people follow you throughout the day?

00:25:36.320 We're going to try to have you guys back on every day.

00:25:37.900 How do people follow you on social media and at Real America's Voice?

00:25:42.660 Americasvoice.news.

00:25:43.840 All my social media is at Ben Burkwam,

00:25:45.740 and I'm actually doing a short fundraiser right now, if I can mention it,

00:25:49.080 for Tim Foley of Arizona Border Recon.

00:25:52.080 People can go to my website, FrontlineAmerica.com.

00:25:54.860 Up until midnight tonight, half of the proceeds from that will go directly

00:25:58.080 to Tim Foley of Arizona Border Recon, who lives in Arivaca

00:26:01.100 and is one of the only people that's actually fighting to stop this.

00:26:05.140 That's FrontlineAmerica.com.

00:26:07.220 We'll get you back on this afternoon to talk about Tim.

00:26:09.300 Thank you very much.

00:26:10.080 Let's go to Anthony Aguero and down in El Paso, Texas.

00:26:14.160 Anthony, amazing reporting for the farce.

00:26:17.020 Remember, this is just all a farce.

00:26:19.420 We could stop this with direct action.

00:26:21.240 You could take action here and stop all this.

00:26:23.560 When you hear these politicians and they're putting up trailers

00:26:25.680 and they're doing all this, it's a farce.

00:26:28.200 Anthony, how do people get to you on social media to follow your reporting?

00:26:31.720 I've been canceled everywhere, Steve.

00:26:33.460 I've only down to my Gifts and Go, Expose Border, Expose Open Borders 1.00

00:26:39.540 on Gifts and Go and on Getter, Real Anthony.

00:26:41.960 That's all I've got left, Steve.

00:26:44.120 Why have you been canceled?

00:26:46.140 You're doing amazing reporting to try to save people's lives in there.

00:26:49.580 Why have you been canceled?

00:26:50.940 So immediately after I posted the video of the child sedated in Yuma, Arizona,

00:26:57.620 these last couple of days, within less than 24 hours,

00:27:01.080 Cash App sent me a verification that I had been canceled off of their app, I guess.

00:27:07.540 And I've been canceled all across because I've been showing these kids sedated.

00:27:11.400 Same thing with Facebook, YouTube, all the other big tech companies, sir.

00:27:15.260 Just remember, big tech oligarchs don't want to show the agony of these kids

00:27:20.020 coming across being trafficked into slavery.

00:27:22.380 Anthony, thank you very much.

00:27:23.640 Look forward to seeing this afternoon or tomorrow.

00:27:26.540 Oscar, how do people get to you, sir?

00:27:30.300 Thank you so much, sir.

00:27:31.380 Oscar Blue on Getter, Oscar Blue on Twitter, Facebook, YouTube,

00:27:34.360 OscarBlueRingers.com, and of course, sir, RealAmericanVoiceNews.com, sir.

00:27:38.680 Thank you, sir, for the invitation.

00:27:39.600 Oscar, you be very careful, sir, and Anthony also,

00:27:43.660 as this border war, as the cartel wars start to heat up,

00:27:46.020 we're going to be covering this nonstop.

00:27:47.300 This is signal, not noise, an invasion.

00:27:50.280 4.9 million illegal aliens are in this country

00:27:53.160 in the first 18 months of this illegitimate regime.

00:27:56.760 Stolen elections have catastrophic consequences

00:27:59.420 for the unfortunate children that are being trafficked through here

00:28:04.180 and for American citizens.

00:28:06.080 Short commercial break.

00:28:06.880 Steve Cortez, Ben Harnwell, Dave Walsh,

00:28:09.320 all next on The Economy and the War Room.

00:28:11.160 We're taking down the CCP.

00:28:14.140 Spread the word all through Hong Kong.

00:28:16.520 We will fight till they're all gone.

00:28:19.040 We rejoice when there's no more. 0.95

00:28:20.920 Let's take down the CCP.

00:28:24.340 War Room.

00:28:25.580 Pandemic with Stephen K. Bannon.

00:28:28.100 The epidemic is a demon, and we cannot let this demon hide.

00:28:31.900 War Room.

00:28:33.060 Pandemic.

00:28:34.060 Here's your host, Stephen K. Bannon.

00:28:36.880 Okay, welcome back.

00:28:39.560 It's all signal, no noise here.

00:28:41.160 We're going to go, by the way, over the weekend,

00:28:43.580 as we've had Dave Walsh on for months and months and months,

00:28:46.180 I think Axios finally caught up today.

00:28:48.540 Remember, Axios is supposed to be the big inside baseball.

00:28:50.760 If you read Axios or you get Axios Premier Services,

00:28:53.560 that's supposed to be Mike Gallen's most inside baseball in Washington, D.C.

00:28:57.820 And I'm proud to report that Dave Walsh and the War Room team has been on the European energy crisis for months and months and months and months.

00:29:07.260 This is why hedge funds throughout the world and TV producers watch the show that we present to the deplorables, 1.00

00:29:12.780 for the deplorables, by the deplorables, every day of the week.

00:29:15.680 Steve Cortez, I want to start with you.

00:29:17.800 Zero Hedge, all these stories coming out, you know, whether it's France, whether it's Germany, whether it's Poland.

00:29:22.340 In Poland, they're queuing up for 10 miles to get coal to stock in for the winter.

00:29:29.900 I mean, it is literally an obscenity.

00:29:32.420 And if you don't think this is not going to happen here, ladies and gentlemen, you are dead wrong.

00:29:36.860 Steve Cortez.

00:29:38.180 Steve, these are advanced economies in Europe which are regressing to medieval-like tactics,

00:29:44.180 defensive tactics to literally provide heat for themselves in the coming winter.

00:29:48.360 We know that searches in Germany for firewood, internet searches for firewood acquisition have absolutely soared.

00:29:54.260 In Poland, you're exactly correct.

00:29:55.980 Cars are literally waiting for days to get coal for the winter.

00:29:59.900 Steve, these are the disastrous consequences of the Davos crowd of the World Economic Forum

00:30:06.000 and terrible leaders like Macron and Boris Johnson deciding to fund both sides of a war in Ukraine.

00:30:13.260 First of all, massively escalating what should be a regional standoff between Russia and Ukraine

00:30:18.700 over the eastern-speaking portion of eastern Ukraine.

00:30:21.820 So escalating it.

00:30:22.980 And then deciding through policy to literally fund both sides of the war.

00:30:28.480 Now, it would be one thing if America decided to stand aside, all right, and let Europe go down that terrible road.

00:30:34.660 But instead, Joe Biden is not just engaging in it, but massively exacerbating it, even more so at this point than the Europeans.

00:30:41.340 So you're exactly right.

00:30:42.380 The point here, America, take heed.

00:30:45.420 Take this warning.

00:30:46.660 Look at what is happening in Europe and do not think that it can't happen here.

00:30:50.060 By the way, crude oil has taken a bit of a break in recent weeks, okay, back below $100.

00:30:54.560 But it's up 3% today.

00:30:56.480 Right now, as we speak, it's at $96.

00:30:59.060 Don't think that it can't go in a nanosecond right back to $110, $120, $130 a barrel if things really heat up again,

00:31:06.840 both in terms of the war in Ukraine as well as demand from Europe for energy.

00:31:11.280 So we are here.

00:31:12.340 Hold on, hold on.

00:31:13.360 But hang on.

00:31:15.020 On the oil, that's demand destruction. 0.96

00:31:18.080 People are driving less.

00:31:19.340 You're doing less.

00:31:20.340 You're taking the family out less.

00:31:21.860 If you're a truck driver, you're doing less of a route, so you're making less money.

00:31:25.680 That's demand destruction is the reason.

00:31:27.380 The principal reason it's dropped is that people are just doing less because the prices are so high.

00:31:31.920 That shouldn't be any victory lap for Biden.

00:31:35.360 Only the simpletons sit there.

00:31:37.580 When you watch the news broadcast, they say, oh, you know, gasoline's down. 0.98

00:31:41.120 That's a simpleton talking to you like you're a simpleton. 0.98

00:31:44.200 You're not a simpleton. 0.98

00:31:45.560 What they've done is demand destruction here.

00:31:47.400 And demand destruction means you've had to change your lifestyle dramatically in order

00:31:52.940 for those prices to change.

00:31:54.280 Is that not correct, Mr. Steve Cortez?

00:31:56.300 No.

00:31:56.580 That is exactly right.

00:31:57.680 And also, again, here, context and perspective are important.

00:32:00.440 You'll see none of that from the corporate media, but War Room provides it.

00:32:03.660 So even with a slight break off of the June highs in energy, we are still at massively elevated

00:32:09.520 levels compared to when Joe Biden took office.

00:32:12.100 For example, let's talk about natural gas, which is still above $9.

00:32:15.440 It was $2.50 when Joe Biden was sworn in.

00:32:19.260 $2.50 to above $9.

00:32:22.140 So nobody should be celebrating crude oil, by the way.

00:32:24.120 It was in the 40s when Joe Biden took office.

00:32:25.840 So nobody should be celebrating crude in the 90s.

00:32:28.800 My point here, though, is that don't assume that just because the massive ascent has taken

00:32:33.780 a very slight break, that means by any stretch that we're out of the woods regarding energy.

00:32:38.860 And the situation in Europe, they're getting anything but a break.

00:32:42.020 They're getting the exact opposite in Europe.

00:32:43.840 I mean, it really portends, you know, I've said this many times on the show, for Europe,

00:32:47.000 for the United States, not just recession.

00:32:49.120 I don't think there's a debate anymore that we're in a recession.

00:32:51.660 It's a matter of the severity of the recession and the increasing risks of something worse

00:32:56.620 than recession.

00:32:57.860 On so many metrics, and energy is certainly one of them, we risk tipping into a depression.

00:33:03.080 And also to connect the dots between Europe, the United States, and China, what we see right

00:33:07.040 now is something we have not seen in two decades since China emerged as a global power.

00:33:11.720 We have not seen the United States, Europe, and China all crash into recession simultaneously

00:33:17.400 in concert.

00:33:18.560 That is exactly what's happening right now.

00:33:20.800 And we don't frankly know the consequences, but I can guarantee you this, they're going

00:33:25.040 to be very dire.

00:33:27.200 Before you move on, I know you've got more charts to go through and we're going to take

00:33:29.660 as much time as we need.

00:33:30.600 I want people, I'm going to go back in time in 2008.

00:33:34.160 2008, when we crashed, the Chinese, because where they were financially, et cetera, they 1.00

00:33:38.720 were able to ramp up.

00:33:39.680 And those are the years of the 10, 11, 12% growth.

00:33:42.700 If you didn't have the CCP's corrupt engine to drive it through then, the 2008 would have

00:33:49.020 looked even worse than it would have looked around.

00:33:50.780 And what Cortez is saying, you have Europe now, the bottom is going to fall out.

00:33:56.680 And Walsh is going to tell us energy here in the Louisville, the bottom's falling out.

00:33:59.520 The real estate market in China, the bottom is falling out.

00:34:02.500 And Xi is trying to paper it over with every aspect he can.

00:34:05.500 That's about, that's falling out.

00:34:07.040 In the United States, as Steve Cortez is going to tell you, is falling out.

00:34:10.240 You've never had all three, what, in synchronicity, right?

00:34:14.740 In the same time, simultaneously, all imploded at the same time, Steve Cortez.

00:34:19.520 No, that's exactly right, which is why the risks are so elevated right now.

00:34:23.100 When you look at China, what happened in 2008 and 2009, now, make no mistake,

00:34:26.540 a lot of this was built on foolish borrowing and a lot of false bookkeeping, a lot of just

00:34:31.480 lying, frankly, from the Chinese Communist Party.

00:34:34.180 But nonetheless, they were able to power through that recession.

00:34:37.700 And that was actually helpful to the world economy, because unfortunately, we are so deeply

00:34:42.520 intertwined with China.

00:34:43.720 That process of decoupling must accelerate, but it's going to take years and years for us

00:34:48.080 to do.

00:34:48.500 At the present time, because we are so dependent on China for sourcing, and because our capital

00:34:52.980 markets particularly are so dependent on China, because people like Larry Fink at BlackRock,

00:34:58.660 people in the ruling class of America have invested so much of the hard-earned wages of

00:35:03.240 American workers into China.

00:35:05.200 We are incredibly exposed to the massive slowdown to the recession that is looming in China.

00:35:11.140 And so when you have that synchronicity that you talk about, the three major economic centers

00:35:15.020 of the world, Europe, the United States, and China, all at once crashing into the ditch, 0.97

00:35:19.120 the risks increase dramatically.

00:35:22.600 And again, I want to be clear on this.

00:35:23.760 We don't really know what the consequences will be, because it has never happened before.

00:35:27.320 So anybody who tells you they know precisely, I think, is being disingenuous.

00:35:30.780 But I think what we can reasonably discern is that it's going to be really, really economically

00:35:36.800 dangerous.

00:35:37.460 And it only makes the domestic situation here, the domestic crisis we're in, which was created

00:35:41.820 by Joe Biden and pre-existing those other outside forces, that only makes that crisis

00:35:46.200 and the deepening economic woes of the United States even more intense.

00:35:52.480 Let's walk through.

00:35:53.280 You've got some analysis you want to take us through.

00:35:54.960 Let's go ahead and walk through that now, because let's get the bad news out so people

00:35:58.840 can start to chew on it and think it through.

00:36:02.660 Well, listen, the bad news is that the Federal Reserve Bank finally, at long last, has decided

00:36:07.640 to recognize the deepness, the severity of the economic crisis that we're in and the inflation

00:36:12.840 that they helped create, so nobody should feel sorry for them.

00:36:15.480 But at least, finally, Jerome Powell went to Jackson Hole and had the honesty to at least

00:36:20.200 say, OK, we have a very severe crisis, and we're going to need to take significant actions

00:36:25.720 that will be painful to try to solve this crisis, to try to solve this economic and fiscal

00:36:31.440 nightmare that we're in.

00:36:32.560 And I wrote a new article about this, which folks can access on my Substack via my social

00:36:37.040 media.

00:36:37.360 But what the Fed also did simultaneously, because this is how they operate, the permanent

00:36:42.420 Washington, permanent political class, they also tried to excuse themselves.

00:36:46.540 And they gave themselves a pass on missing, just completely whiffing, on the biggest inflationary

00:36:51.720 crisis in four-plus decades.

00:36:53.940 So do we have the clip-ready, Steve, to play of Fed Chairman or Fed President of Atlanta Bostock?

00:36:59.180 Can we play that?

00:37:00.780 Do we have that ready to go?

00:37:03.060 Bringing that down because the costs are higher.

00:37:04.880 Well, you know, inflation is extremely high, sort of unimaginable.

00:37:10.640 The levels were unimaginable 18 months ago.

00:37:13.740 OK.

00:37:15.300 Unimaginable.

00:37:16.900 Unimaginable.

00:37:17.680 That is the president of the Atlanta Fed, OK, telling us that it was unimaginable.

00:37:23.200 By the way, educated at Harvard, PhD at Stanford.

00:37:26.920 He was a senior professor at University of Southern California before he became the president

00:37:31.320 of the Atlanta Fed.

00:37:32.560 His very job, Steve, is price stability, OK?

00:37:35.380 There is nothing more important for any Fed official to do than price stability.

00:37:39.160 He told us that it was unimaginable.

00:37:41.400 Now, you mentioned this earlier, but I'd like to play this clip number two because it was

00:37:44.920 18 months through the day before Bostock said that.

00:37:48.000 Can we play clip two?

00:37:49.000 Our economy.

00:37:49.800 I'm very worried.

00:37:50.760 This rise in yields, it's caused a lot of volatility in financial markets this week.

00:37:54.180 I think this is this portends very poorly for the Biden slow growth era that we are,

00:38:00.460 I think, unfortunately entering.

00:38:02.360 You think this is so you think this is going to be even worse than the stagflation back in

00:38:06.600 the in the 70s?

00:38:07.520 You think that's where we're heading?

00:38:09.700 OK, so there you have it to the day one year and a half ago.

00:38:13.340 By the way, look at how tan I was there.

00:38:14.660 I'm pretty tan now.

00:38:15.800 I was more tan then.

00:38:16.920 I got to get back to those days.

00:38:17.980 But listen, but more vacation days.

00:38:21.640 Hold on, hold on, hang on, hang on a second.

00:38:23.120 But I don't want to bury the lead here.

00:38:25.520 One year ago on Friday, Powell stood in front of that microphone and said it's only transitory.

00:38:33.940 These guys, when he says when the Fed chair and the president in Atlanta says unimaginable,

00:38:39.720 no, it was totally it was totally understood.

00:38:41.660 The American Recovery Act.

00:38:43.420 It was obvious Larry Summers, others were sitting there just just do a set of math.

00:38:47.800 That's what and but they were adamant about it.

00:38:50.300 They were they were in your face about it, that this is transitory.

00:38:54.060 And so now you're supposed to take them at the word that they're going to they're going

00:38:56.940 to do.

00:38:57.960 Are we supposed to take them at the word that they're actually going to stick with a program

00:39:01.940 to wring inflation out of here?

00:39:03.780 He did use the V word.

00:39:05.180 He used the Volcker word.

00:39:06.360 What are your thoughts, Steve?

00:39:07.900 Yeah.

00:39:08.200 No, listen.

00:39:08.640 I mean, I think they're starting to get religion.

00:39:10.700 It's too little too late, but better late than never on that point.

00:39:13.740 But, you know, I want to make Steve, I think you're alluding at least to a bigger issue

00:39:17.420 here, which is, you know, the failure of the so-called expert class right in the United

00:39:21.540 States that we know as much, if not more than they know.

00:39:26.240 And unlike them, we're not dishonest.

00:39:28.020 Right.

00:39:28.220 We don't have a commitment to narrative over the facts and data and evidence.

00:39:32.060 And so you and I, a year and a half ago, right, with no access to the army of PhDs that the

00:39:37.760 Federal Reserve has, without the programmers that they have, we were able to clearly discern

00:39:42.600 that Biden's attack on American energy, combined with exorbitant borrowing and spending, was

00:39:48.360 going to produce massive inflation combined with an economic slowdown, which, of course,

00:39:52.900 is the definition of stagflation.

00:39:55.060 And we were seeing that all throughout 2021, while Janet Yellen and Jerome Powell and the 0.75

00:40:00.840 entire Biden White House were lying to the American people and trying to sell this ridiculous

00:40:06.700 ruse that it was transitory.

00:40:09.720 Now, I would suggest to you, Steve, one of the reasons, because I think this is important,

00:40:12.400 I'd like to get into this with Bostic.

00:40:13.960 I would suggest to you that one of the reasons that with all of his credentials, all of his

00:40:17.700 august line items on his CV, on his curriculum vitae, I would suggest that one of the reasons

00:40:23.620 that he completely whiffed, and other Fed officials completely whiffed, is their commitment to

00:40:29.140 narrative instead of trying to discover and read into the economic reality of America.

00:40:36.200 And what I mean by that, and I discussed this in my article, and I provide some links to it,

00:40:40.540 he wrote an article, Bostic did, the chairman of the Atlanta Fed, the president of the Atlanta

00:40:44.860 Fed, on the, quote, moral and economic imperative to end racism.

00:40:50.440 And in that article, he cites George Floyd and Breonna Taylor.

00:40:54.560 Well, this might be a very good reason why Bostic was asleep at the wheel when it came

00:41:00.320 to inflation, because he was too busy trying to spread woke propaganda.

00:41:05.220 And I would also, by the way, point to the paradox of this man who has enjoyed such a successful

00:41:10.200 life in the United States.

00:41:12.300 If this country is systemically racist, we are incredibly bad at it, because somebody like

00:41:17.640 Bostic went to Harvard and Stanford, and he is now the chief Fed official in the southeastern

00:41:24.260 United States. 0.97

00:41:25.400 If we are a systemically racist country, the fact that we put a gay black man, which he 1.00

00:41:29.620 is, into that role, it doesn't speak very well of our skill as racist, does it? 0.96

00:41:35.120 Here's my, by the way, the Fed also does, the Atlanta Fed does all the GDP forecasts.

00:41:39.520 My bigger issue with him is that he doesn't talk about inequality driven by, wait for it,

00:41:44.780 negative interest rates, this is what's crushed the African American community, it's crushed 1.00

00:41:50.380 the Hispanic community.

00:41:52.020 The zero interest rates only took care of the wealthy, where he doesn't quote like guys

00:41:55.780 like, instead of the George Floyd and Breonna, why didn't he talk about Richard Fisher, what

00:42:00.860 Richard Fisher said about the Fed's policies to bail out the wealthy, the bail out the wealthy.

00:42:09.460 Short commercial break, return in a moment to the war room.

00:42:11.980 The new social media taking on big tech, protecting free speech, and canceling cancel culture.

00:42:32.000 Join the marketplace of ideas.

00:42:34.220 The platform for independent thought has arrived.

00:42:36.580 Superior technology, no more selling your personal data, no more censorship, no more cancel

00:42:43.320 culture, enough.

00:42:45.280 Getter has arrived.

00:42:47.020 It's time to say what you want, the way you want.

00:42:50.480 Download now.

00:42:51.420 By the way, it's totally free.

00:42:54.020 If you want to get, you know, Steve Cortez 24-7, Steve Bannon, I'm putting up stuff all

00:43:00.380 hours of the day or night.

00:43:02.020 Ben Harnwell and of course Dave Walsh.

00:43:03.720 Go to Getter.

00:43:04.220 It's totally free and you get totally in the loop.

00:43:06.340 And once again, I want to tell everybody that if you take one year of your life, get on

00:43:11.880 Getter with what we're just saying, watch the show, go to the links, you'll get as good

00:43:16.800 education as an MBA from Harvard, the Harvard Business School.

00:43:22.020 And I mean that.

00:43:22.840 Maybe we've got a little set of help you on the analytics on the side, but once you learn

00:43:26.340 some simple math, you'll be there.

00:43:29.480 Cortez, talk about simple math, Asian markets. 0.99

00:43:33.440 See, here's what people have to understand is that here's where we are right now.

00:43:38.800 You have real wages have decreased 16 months in a row, correct in the Biden regime.

00:43:44.440 Am I correct?

00:43:44.880 16 months, real wages down.

00:43:46.560 Inflation is on fire.

00:43:47.760 So every day you get up, every day you go to work.

00:43:50.040 Remember, when you're in a car right now on the train, wherever you are watching the

00:43:53.400 show, as you go to work, every day you're falling behind because the burning dumps are

00:43:58.160 firing inflation versus your real wages.

00:44:00.020 Boom, you're losing there.

00:44:01.360 Now, because they finally jammed themselves up and they got to get serious about taking

00:44:05.280 liquidity off of the balance sheet of the Fed, plus raising interest rates, the housing

00:44:09.540 market, they just had this big report, 138 cities across the country, dropped some as

00:44:14.600 much as 74% of the house prices.

00:44:16.480 But generally, I think it could be a 20% drop in potentially in values of home, which is

00:44:21.960 going to wipe out your net worth.

00:44:23.820 So the Biden administration has put you in a vice.

00:44:26.200 They've crushed your net worth.

00:44:28.560 That little bit of thing you got, the home equity, the thing you've worked so hard for,

00:44:32.040 the home equity, they're wiping that out at the same time that you're on the hamster

00:44:36.260 wheel, the harder you run, the more you fall behind.

00:44:41.120 Steve Cortez.

00:44:42.260 No, that's the reality.

00:44:43.360 And unfortunately, this is par for the course for Joe Biden.

00:44:45.740 To connect this to our last discussion, by the way, about exacerbating inequality.

00:44:49.560 The last time that Biden was in the White House as vice president during the eight years

00:44:53.680 of Obama-Biden, according to Fed data, only the top 10% of wage earners in America saw

00:45:01.420 their net worth increase during those eight years.

00:45:04.640 And that's eight long years.

00:45:05.780 So we're not just penalizing them for the recession that they inherited.

00:45:08.600 But over eight years, only the top 10% increased their net worth.

00:45:11.820 The other 90% lost ground.

00:45:14.580 They got poorer when Biden was vice president.

00:45:17.140 And among black Americans, this is a staggering statistic from the Fed, among black Americans,

00:45:21.720 they lost one third of their net worth during the Obama-Biden years.

00:45:25.920 Hold on, hold on, hold on.

00:45:27.420 This is what I say.

00:45:28.720 Dr. Bostic, brother, I'm all with you on the inequality of the Federal Reserve, on working

00:45:34.120 class people, regardless of race, ethnicity, religion.

00:45:38.040 It just destroys them.

00:45:39.140 But then you go and look at the statistics of Hispanic Americans and black Americans,

00:45:42.800 the policies, brother, that you have supported.

00:45:47.160 Okay?

00:45:47.680 That's why I say, please, when you're talking about racism, do me a favor and don't quote

00:45:51.180 the George Floyd stuff, all that.

00:45:52.780 Go to what Royce White said.

00:45:54.380 Go quote Richard Fisher.

00:45:56.440 Richard Fisher, the president of the Dallas Fed, told you at the time what was going to

00:46:00.400 happen.

00:46:00.780 This is the scam.

00:46:02.280 You're being destroyed right now.

00:46:04.300 And you got media sitting there with this guy.

00:46:06.280 And it's all happy talk.

00:46:07.600 Right.

00:46:08.000 It's all happy talk.

00:46:09.500 And we're not in a time you can have, remember, we have the opportunity cost of action.

00:46:13.860 Every day you don't take action is another day this calamity builds.

00:46:17.960 Steve Cortez.

00:46:18.660 Yeah.

00:46:18.860 And Biden is doing it again, unfortunately.

00:46:21.000 He's continuing where he left off.

00:46:22.720 And then some, he's doing it on steroids now.

00:46:25.500 And financial markets are starting to wake up.

00:46:27.820 They had a bunch of cold water thrown all over them by Jerome Powell on Friday.

00:46:32.500 The Dow was down 1,000 points.

00:46:34.760 But it was even worse in some key sectors.

00:46:36.620 You know, you mentioned housing.

00:46:38.040 And I think this is important.

00:46:39.260 The housing sector was down the XHB, which is in one ticker.

00:46:43.380 That's an ETF, an exchange traded fund, where you get all the home builders put together.

00:46:47.120 It was down 4.4% on Friday.

00:46:50.180 Steve, that's a bad year, much less a bad day.

00:46:53.220 Down 4.4%.

00:46:54.560 But it's not just the retail and housing sector.

00:46:56.920 Semiconductors were down 5% on Friday.

00:46:59.580 And so far today, it's not quite as bad.

00:47:01.580 But the selling continues today.

00:47:03.160 Right now, as we speak, the Dow is down 250 points.

00:47:06.460 And this was foretold last night.

00:47:08.720 And I was posting this on social media on my Getter account last night because the Nikkei 0.99

00:47:12.860 got absolutely slammed.

00:47:14.440 It was already closed on Friday, of course, when the Jackson Hole speeches were going on.

00:47:18.320 So when it opened up Sunday night, our time, Monday morning in Tokyo, it got hit 760 points,

00:47:24.220 almost down 3% for the Nikkei.

00:47:26.540 So unfortunately, I think volatility abounds.

00:47:30.040 Volatility is very likely to continue as financial markets begin to reckon with what most folks

00:47:35.020 on Main Street have already known, which is that A, we are in a terrible recession.

00:47:39.720 But B, unlike most recessions, things aren't getting cheaper.

00:47:42.900 Things are staying incredibly expensive and unaffordable.

00:47:45.980 It's literally the worst of all worlds right now for the American economy.

00:47:49.940 And again, connecting this back to politics.

00:47:51.920 If we focus, if we stay focused on the two I's, immigration and inflation, we have the

00:47:57.500 answers on both of these macro issues.

00:47:59.680 We have the solutions to fix the messes that were caused by the Democrats and Joe Biden.

00:48:03.780 And if we message correctly and persuasively on those fixes and on those solutions, I remain

00:48:10.040 convinced that we're going to have an absolute wave year, no matter how much corporate media

00:48:15.180 is trying to depress us and no matter how much they might try to put out some polling,

00:48:20.780 which is only meant to suppress, suppression-type polls that are only meant to dismay us.

00:48:25.040 We shouldn't give in to that reality.

00:48:27.340 We have 70 days roughly to go, and we are going to sprint through the finish line because

00:48:32.100 the state of this country right now is abysmal, and we must save it.

00:48:36.720 The clock is ticking.

00:48:37.560 The hour is late.

00:48:39.520 Now, real quickly, one more crack.

00:48:43.020 How do people get to the subject?

00:48:44.320 This article is one of the most important you've written.

00:48:46.580 I want to make sure everybody gets access to it.

00:48:48.680 Where do they have to go to get this?

00:48:49.920 Yeah, please go read it.

00:48:51.340 You can find me on Getter, at Steve, and the substack is right in my biography.

00:48:55.180 You can click on it there.

00:48:56.440 You can also find me, for now, still on Twitter, at SteveCortez, with an S.

00:49:02.100 Steve Cortez, thank you very much, brother.

00:49:03.800 Thank you for being here for us on the kickoff of the week.

00:49:07.440 Thank you.

00:49:08.820 Okay, in the next hour, we are going to do a little Mar-a-Lago, but we're going to do

00:49:12.820 the Mike Davis version.

00:49:13.900 We're going to go through exactly what happened over the weekend.

00:49:15.760 A massive win for President Trump, because they're going to appoint a special master.

00:49:20.900 Because guess what?

00:49:21.560 A federal judge doesn't trust the Justice Department either.

00:49:24.400 But the drumbeat's starting.

00:49:26.200 The drumbeat's out there.

00:49:27.520 They're going to indict him.

00:49:28.440 They're going to indict him.

00:49:29.200 They're going to indict him.

00:49:29.680 We're going to get to all that.

00:49:30.520 Okay, we're going to go back to you.

00:49:31.660 We're going to talk about the economy, how it's going to impact you.

00:49:33.720 We're going to Mar-a-Lago and talk about the, what is it?

00:49:37.040 The Raid and the Ransack, the defilement and desecration of Mar-a-Lago, all because of

00:49:41.780 an overdue library book.

00:49:43.160 What is that?

00:49:43.560 Library card.

00:49:44.140 The librarians, the Battle of the Librarians, the National Archive, the Administrative State's

00:49:49.400 secretaries all upset and clutching her pearls.

00:49:52.560 That means Trump's got to be indicted.

00:49:54.500 Also, we're going to go a couple of three big developments on COVID.
