00:00:00.000 reporting on the specific signs Republicans hope for a red wave are receding ahead of the
00:00:06.580 2022 elections. What are those signs? Mika, it's been such a stark shift from last fall
00:00:13.740 and earlier this year. Remember after that Virginia election, Republicans stormed a victory
00:00:17.640 in the governor's race with Glenn Youngkin. They nearly won a stunner of a victory in New Jersey.
00:00:22.400 They were so optimistic and bullish about a red wave. But now you have to squint very hard to see
00:00:28.200 any signs of a red wave, as you all have been talking about on this panel. And the signs are
00:00:33.040 everywhere. The most recent one was that special election in Hudson Valley, just north of New York
00:00:37.680 City. That has been a bellwether district that has tracked the national mood for years. Democrats
00:00:43.040 should have no business even competing there if it was anything resembling a red wave climate. Yet
00:00:47.740 the Democrat, Pat Ryan, won against a Republican, Mark Molinaro, by a larger margin than President
00:00:53.340 Biden won in 2020. That suggests something is going on there. Our poll shows that persuadable
00:00:58.560 voters are trending toward Democrats. They were in favor of Republicans by six points earlier this
00:01:03.660 year. Now they're in favor of Democrats by three points, which is so unusual in an election year for
00:01:08.460 the party in power. We see the Republican enthusiasm gap shrinking in our poll as well. 17 points earlier
00:01:13.460 this year to just two points. Now McConnell, as you guys have been mentioning, downplaying his
00:01:18.300 expectations in the Senate. He had that moment of candor talking about candidate quality. McConnell has these
00:01:22.980 frank moments occasionally. He has a tendency to walk them back. He has to remain optimistic about
00:01:28.000 Pennsylvania and Georgia. He's not becoming majority leader if Republicans lose those seats.
00:01:32.920 Beyond that, you know, there's Republicans. The fact that Republicans have to spend even a penny in Ohio,
00:01:38.100 as Joe was just mentioning, that state voted Republican by 12 and a half points more than the country
00:01:43.280 as a whole did. That should be a wide open layup this year in a year like this. Yet Republicans may be
00:01:49.900 fumbling the ball there. They have to go in and prop up J.D. Vance rather than seeing him close to a
00:01:54.520 victory. Now, what are the causes of this? Everyone is looking at the Supreme Court abortion decision.
00:01:58.760 That's been huge. That has galvanized Democratic voters. That has woken up a number of abortion rights
00:02:04.980 supporters who had taken this for granted maybe over years, maybe over decades. I think declining gas
00:02:10.020 prices have a lot to do with it. That was a reason that President Biden's approval went down in the
00:02:14.620 first place. And of course, the reemergence of Trump reminds independent voters who are very
00:02:19.100 alienated by him that he's still out there, that he's still reasserting his dominance
00:02:23.120 over the Republican Party, that he still controls this party to a large degree.
00:02:27.540 And it is making it harder for Republicans like McConnell to make this a referendum on President
00:02:33.180 Biden. It is actually playing into Democrats' hands in a sense of making this a choice between
00:02:37.580 Democrats, the party in power now, and what they call the MAGA Republicans, the Trump Republicans.
00:02:41.700 You add it up. You know, Republicans at this point should not feel too pessimistic. They still have
00:02:46.520 a lot of opportunities, given these slender margins, to take control of Congress. But you can certainly
00:02:51.480 see, you know, a road where they end up losing the possibility of capturing the Senate and keeping
00:02:58.460 it very close, if not even losing the House. Christine DeGreer, some of these candidates that seem so far
00:03:03.380 right, so fringe, so big lie, so driven still by Trump, will win. What are the risks?
00:03:11.500 The risks and the opportunities, but most importantly, the risks for Democrats moving
00:03:16.100 forward toward the midterms?
00:03:18.780 Yeah, I mean, I'm incredibly worried that some of these candidates could win in November,
00:03:23.820 because obviously it sets us up for a very dangerous moment. Moving into 2024, we've got
00:03:28.740 secretaries of state. We've got different gubernatorial candidates who believe in the big lie, who want
00:03:34.560 to essentially do what Lindsey Graham is doing, which is speak to an audience of one, which is Donald Trump,
00:03:38.920 because he comes with millions of quasi-rabid followers who will essentially do whatever
00:03:43.520 he instructs them to do. And so I think it's really important for the Democrats to
00:03:47.600 galvanize their base. I mean, I think it was said, you know, a lot of Republicans, especially in the
00:03:52.800 base, are looking backwards. It's imperative that these Senate candidates and gubernatorial candidates
00:03:58.180 and Joe Biden really contextualize why it is that we have to look forward. What is at stake? It's not just
00:04:04.600 about inflation and economics and gas prices. It is about the soul of our democracy. I know,
00:04:10.200 you know, my students get tired of hearing this, but every election is the most important election.
00:04:13.840 But in this instance, it absolutely is. If we don't get 2022 correct, we don't get 2024 correct.
00:04:20.020 Because as Kevin McCarthy and the Lindsey Grahams have already said, if Republicans gain control of
00:04:25.500 one or two parties, houses in Congress, you know, immediately impeachment proceedings start.
00:04:31.600 Who are we impeaching and why? It doesn't matter. They've just said, we're going to start impeachment
00:04:35.660 proceedings. It'll be lots of Hunter Biden. It'll be lots of emails and laptops. It'll be Hillary
00:04:40.140 Clinton all over again. It'll be Barack Hussein Obama. We've seen this time and time again. And so
00:04:44.980 we're seeing it even more. And so it's really important that if we want to actually move forward
00:04:49.800 on policy, we need to make sure that some of these extremist candidates who have won their primaries
00:04:54.820 are not elected in November of 2022, but definitely not in November of 2024.
00:05:01.980 Okay. Welcome to the War Room. It's Tuesday, 30 August, the year of our Lord, 2022. And there is
00:05:09.240 an all out assault on the red tsunami, the 100 seats for 100 years. They're absolutely totally panicked.
00:05:15.120 And trust me, the reason they're panicked is because they saw the sweeping school board
00:05:19.360 victory. So it's not some swing district that McCarthy and these guys kept Trump out of and said,
00:05:24.160 don't come, don't get involved. It's not that. It's they saw the sweeping victories in the school
00:05:29.360 board elections in Florida, and they're in total panic mode. So now every day you're just getting
00:05:33.880 the research, you're going to get the psyops, all of it. We've got to separate out the signal from
00:05:39.040 the noise. The professor there, I think she's from Fordham. She's absolutely correct in saying that
00:05:44.140 if when we take one of two houses, particularly the house, which we're going to take, they will start
00:05:49.240 the investigations into the southern border, the invasion of the southern border,
00:05:52.800 Hunter's laptop, all of it to bring about impeachment proceedings on Joe Biden, that's
00:05:57.660 going to happen. Of course, Joe Biden's going to go in front of the nation on Thursday night
00:06:00.920 and trash talk MAGA. He's all cool with, they're all cool with Republicans. What they're not cool with
00:06:07.680 is MAGA, right? He's okay with controlled opposition, but he's not okay with MAGA. We got a lot to get to.
00:06:15.100 So what I decided to do was to ask and bring in a man of incredible wisdom, Rudy the Great Giuliani,
00:06:23.640 the greatest mayor in the history of New York. Rudy the Great. No, Rudy. So first off, you know,
00:06:31.920 and Ron Brownstein from the Los Angeles Times, they also put his stuff up at CNN. He wrote a piece,
00:06:38.300 and I want Denver, if Denver can please put it up sometime on the screen where Rudy and I chat,
00:06:42.320 because there's a couple of pieces up, but I think his is the most profound. He said, look,
00:06:47.100 instead of the Republicans are running on what Steve Cortez said, inflation, immigration, right,
00:06:53.960 the economy, and crime, and they don't mention wokeness, because they don't want to talk about
00:06:59.520 that. But that's our set of issues. And he says the Democrats have to run, and what they have to do,
00:07:06.140 and it was reinforced by the professor from Fordham that said they have to run on climate change,
00:07:14.540 abortion, and threats to democracy. Do you understand the Democrats can't win unless they
00:07:20.840 steal elections? I understand that gets under the skin, but that's reality. So when we win these
00:07:24.700 secretaries of state-
00:07:25.440 I don't think anyone better than you and I understand that, Steve. We lived it, right?
00:07:30.480 You and I lived that in the foxhole for quite some reason. By the way, we're still in a couple of
00:07:40.220 foxholes in regards to that, and we're never giving up. Hold it. Now that you bring it up for
00:07:46.400 either the FBI or anything like that, I want to know Trump put out on True Social, and MSNBC's got
00:07:51.340 up there right now a piece about how many Republicans agree. Trump put up last night that, hey, because of
00:07:57.560 the Hunter situation, because of the FBI guy either getting fired or quitting, because of
00:08:02.720 Facebook saying the FBI told him not to do it, that he wants, you know, that he won, and he wants
00:08:07.320 another election immediately. I keep saying the Biden electors can't get certified. They're not
00:08:13.660 going to be Trump election. We don't need another national election. It's called a, and I keep trying
00:08:17.340 to get this into people's minds. It's a contingent election. It gets kicked. You're not going to flip
00:08:24.120 the Biden electors or Trump electors. You're going to not be able to certify the Biden electors,
00:08:30.800 and by not certifying the Biden electors, the Electoral Count Act of 1887 and our beloved
00:08:36.920 Constitution have a way that what's supposed to happen. That is a contingent election in the House
00:08:43.780 of Representatives where you vote by state party delegation, and guess what? Even with Liz Cheney
00:08:49.340 voting Wyoming for the Democrats, I think we still win 26-24. So yes, we heartily believe what
00:08:56.100 President Trump said, because we don't think we know that the Biden electors can't be certified
00:09:00.620 in Arizona or Georgia or the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania or Michigan or Wisconsin, those
00:09:07.120 five states. That gets us below 270. That means you got to have a contingent election. So let's do it.
00:09:12.560 Let's start the contingent election, you know, this week. Let's do it. That's what we should do,
00:09:17.320 and MSNBC suck on that. No, it's not another national general election, and it's not flipping
00:09:22.220 those electors to Trump. There should be another election, and it's set up. What did they understand?
00:09:28.000 By the way, Jamie Raskin knows this. He goes on TV all the time. In fact, he corrected me. He says,
00:09:31.680 Bannon's wrong. It's not 27-23. Liz Cheney would vote. She's the one delegate from Wyoming,
00:09:38.640 and by the way, I give it to Jamie Raskin. You're right on that one. I give that one to you.
00:09:42.680 So we win, what, 26-24. But that's the election we should have. Rudy, get us up to date on the
00:09:49.320 psyops. You've been through this enough times where they're trying to suppress our vote now
00:09:53.100 by getting everybody terribly depressed, and they're saying the more you talk about Trump,
00:09:58.160 the worse it's going to get. Rudy the Great.
00:10:01.600 Well, the psyops of the Democrat Party are amateurish, and we should have figured them out
00:10:08.060 almost from day one. Now they're, it's projection. They try to take the heat off the things they did
00:10:16.200 wrong, unethical crimes, who knows what else, and they charge us with it. So right now, we're the
00:10:25.040 half-fascist. We're the semi-fascist. So first of all, what's a semi-fascist? You're either a fascist
00:10:35.060 or you're not. And they're the ones who are acting like fascist. So they put it on up.
00:10:40.520 They put the whole thing up.
00:10:41.460 No, they're not, Rudy. Whoa, whoa, whoa. They're not acting like fascists. They are fascists.
00:10:45.580 They want, they want. They like big tech oligarchs. They like big media oligarchs.
00:10:49.560 They like concentration of state. They like concentration in state capitalism and total
00:10:54.060 authoritarian rule. They are truly fascist. They have taken the Muslim and Hitler model and
00:10:59.160 perfected it, right?
00:11:00.340 100%. And they're, and they're doing it day in and day up. The raid on Mar-a-Lago is a general
00:11:09.100 warrant. It would fit the definition of George III's writ of attainder. I don't want to get
00:11:15.200 terribly historic or, or technical, but it's about as close to a writ of attainder as we've
00:11:20.560 had since the 18th century. It gives itself away by providing 18 days in order to execute
00:11:29.480 it. Therefore, it says on the face of it, this is nothing important. You don't take 18
00:11:36.260 days to go get nuclear material or a gun. The FBI took an entire weekend to get around
00:11:43.400 to doing it. Headline, affidavit, warrant, not so important. It completely blows what they
00:11:51.860 were doing there. I mean, and the reality, the reality is they're getting desperate. This
00:11:57.440 whole idea of paying so much attention to us, not just you and me, but the whole thing,
00:12:01.380 everything on CNN and MSNBC is about, they're afraid as hell. They know beyond this poll and
00:12:10.700 that poll, the essential movement of the American people when it's been engaged is to resist
00:12:17.080 being dominated. Look how that lady you interviewed went right back to the pandemic.
00:12:22.320 She saw the connection that you and I have been making for two years. She got it.
00:12:26.700 This is what they were doing all through the pandemic, acting like fascist dictator. Now
00:12:32.040 they're taking it big time. He passes one of the most significant financial actions in American
00:12:39.180 history, this forgiving of the loan. It's an amount of money never forgiven. He has no legal authority
00:12:45.360 to do it. And he does it by dictate. Only dictators dictate. It should be done by vote. Every childhood
00:12:55.920 student of history and civics knows the power of the purse belongs with the legislature. He's robbed
00:13:03.540 it, and think about this, from his own legislature. Imagine what he'd do to a Republican legislature.
00:13:09.380 He's afraid of letting them vote on this. Really, you know, take from some people, give to other
00:13:16.700 people, which is inherently unfair, immoral, illegal. And by the way, about as clear an indication that
00:13:23.240 he's become, in effect, a communist. Take from some, give to the other. And he decides. The state decides.
00:13:32.700 They're trying to get us not to talk about Trump. They're saying that any discussion about Trump,
00:13:36.660 that this shifts the center of gravity away from, like, people can't keep two things in their brain
00:13:40.720 at the same time. Do you believe that? Do you believe the discussion of Mar-a-Lago and what
00:13:44.720 this police state, the Gestapo move by the FBI? I don't, I, do I believe it's a Gestapo move by the
00:13:51.240 FBI? 100%. From things that people who haven't been federal prosecutors wouldn't even look at or
00:14:00.640 realize, like the 11-day delay that, I mean, I've been before many magistrates and federal judges
00:14:06.040 on warrants for real crime, serious crime. People are going to die in a couple of days.
00:14:12.280 They don't put down three days, four days, two days. Like, they put down, here's the word,
00:14:18.460 forthwith. That means, yeah, get your backside out of there and get there and save those people's lives.
00:14:25.100 You don't, you don't break into a president's home unless there's no other way to do it.
00:14:30.080 They don't demonstrate in the affidavit, there's no other way to do it. And then,
00:14:35.140 this general warrants thing. Nine hours?
00:14:39.220 Yeah, hang over a second. We're going to take a short break. We're going to come back with Rudy
00:14:42.860 Giuliani. You're absolutely correct. This is what the British and George, this is what we fought a
00:14:46.820 revolution over, right? So the British couldn't come in and kick down your door like the FBI does.
00:14:52.180 Short commercial break. Rudy the Great, after the break.
00:14:58.420 You know what's never good? When your nation's supposed authority on economic policy
00:15:05.080 completely misses the flashing red lights of impending inflation. Now, Treasury Secretary
00:15:11.520 Janet Yellen has finally admitted, quote, there's been an unanticipated and large shocks to the economy
00:15:17.360 that have boosted energy and food prices and supply bottlenecks that affected our economy badly
00:15:22.860 that I didn't, at the time, fully understand. End quote. You know who understands the real threat
00:15:30.540 of inflation? People who invested in gold and silver with Birch Gold Group. They're protecting their

00:16:24.200 War Room. Pandemic with Stephen K. Bannon. The epidemic is a demon and we cannot let this
00:16:32.300 demon hide. War Room. Pandemic. Here's your host, Stephen K. Bannon.
00:16:37.940 Okay, welcome back. Make sure you go to MyPillow.com. Promo code WARROOM. You go there,
00:16:45.180 you got the kids going back to college. Still a couple of three of them haven't gone. Even if
00:16:48.760 they're back, you got a kit out the room. Remember, you're keeping the room and the soccer trophies
00:16:54.140 at your house. You're sending them out into the world, into the cold, cool world. So make sure
00:16:59.320 they got a pillow, a blanket, some new sheets, all of it, plus a topper. Don't want them sleeping
00:17:04.140 on some college mattress. Put a topper on there. But here's the bottom line. Just go to MyPillow.com,
00:17:08.840 promo code WARROOM. The great Mike Lindell, the armor-piercing shell, and of course, that great
00:17:12.780 American manufacturing company up in Minnesota. Love Minnesota. Let's keep the production lines
00:17:17.880 full. MyPillow.com, promo code WARROOM. Rudy, I got a bunch of stuff to go through and I got
00:17:23.460 Miranda Devine going to follow us, but I know you're jammed for time. I got it. Lindsey Graham
00:17:27.780 said the other day, you know, hey, if Trump gets indicted, they're going to be riots. That hurts
00:17:33.720 our case. And here's the reason. Correct me if I'm wrong. You're the most revered prosecutor in
00:17:39.180 the history of New York. You're the most revered prosecutor in the history of New York. You put
00:17:43.020 the mob away, the five families. You see the movie The Godfather, everybody? Rudy Julianne,
00:17:47.620 the guys around the table, the five families. You see the five families? Rudy put them all in prison.
00:17:51.860 Right? He broke up the five families. You see? You're checking her. You're checking her Italian
00:17:58.640 bona fides. Sicilian. How Sicilian is she? Watch the knives. Watch the knives. Okay. Rudy,
00:18:07.560 correct me if I'm wrong. Don't we have the law on our side so overwhelmingly in this fiasco,
00:18:14.420 this farce, this presidential records spat? That's what it is. It's a spat that why is Lindsey Graham
00:18:21.780 in these wimpy Republicans? We don't need rights. We have two-thirds of the nation.
00:18:28.800 We have momentum. We have the policies. We got the issues. Biden's going up tomorrow to call half
00:18:35.620 the nation, 62-thirds of the nation fascist. Bring it, Joe. Let's go. Let's roll. Why are these
00:18:42.360 nerdy Republicans talking about they're going to be riots? Rudy Giuliani.
00:18:46.440 Well, I'll tell you, here's the difference between us and them. And some of it has to do
00:18:51.360 because they're led by evil people who have no morals. And we have people who question things.
00:18:57.540 You know, we take a little time for things like, is this right? Is this wrong? And in that period of
00:19:02.720 time, they take advantage of it. So ultimately, we're not as united. So if this had happened to
00:19:07.860 them, right, if Trump had said they're semi-fashion, every Democrat would have said the same thing
00:19:14.580 the next morning. Right, right, right from Scarborough and whatever her name is, who can't
00:19:20.060 remember things. And then everybody else. Hang on. Whoa, whoa, whoa. Rudy, Rudy, come on. That's
00:19:24.760 my, come on. Mika. It's morning. You like her? You have a crush on Mika? Don't be sliding. Don't be
00:19:29.380 sliding. No, she's brilliant. She carries the show. Come on. It's morning. It's morning Mika. It's morning
00:19:33.960 Mika, not morning Mika. But I digress. Go ahead. The point is the same line, right? Quid pro quo.
00:19:44.880 No quid pro quo. Sell out to Ukraine. Every one of them says it from the first guy in the morning to
00:19:52.000 the last guy at night. Sounds amateurish. Sounds like you should almost see through it. And by the
00:19:57.380 end of the day, they got their people on one page. And that page adds up to 40% sometimes, 38. It could
00:20:06.260 occasionally go over 50. It could go down to 37. We come out with five different versions of it.
00:20:13.320 You know, Lindsay is thinking about it and reading about it. Then we get, you know, from the way out,
00:20:20.700 we get the people who were the Cheneys and the Kissingers who are still seen as Republicans.
00:20:30.900 We get the thoughtful people. And then we get a couple of the real fighters like Jordan, right? I mean,
00:20:36.860 he's there right in the center, just like you and I would be. He's got the best instincts, I think,
00:20:41.980 of all of them. But we're diffuse. And in a war, I mean, that's like they're attacking our main line and
00:20:48.580 we're saying, oh, maybe they're not really. Let's go around over here. Let's go over here. Let's go
00:20:52.740 over here. I'd rather go here. We've got to unite this party. And that's why Trump being the voice
00:20:59.400 is so important. And that's why they want him out. The minute Trump says something, they might as well
00:21:05.860 not have said anything. He becomes the voice for our movement. If he says, this guy is putting out
00:21:15.740 phony information, everybody gets their little friends and they go right to Trump and they say,
00:21:21.520 okay, what's the phony information? And that's why they are so afraid of Trump. He is without any
00:21:27.400 doubt, the most charismatic American politician ever. And the one who dominates the news by far
00:21:35.160 more than anyone else. That's what they're trying to take about. Hang on. Hang on. Hang on. But you
00:21:40.820 bring it up. You're bringing up signal, not noise. I got to get to this. The reason and the audience
00:21:45.960 used to hate it, but now I think they kind of understand what we're doing. The reason we show
00:21:49.560 so much MSNBC, Rudy's absolutely correct. It's called wash, rinse, repeat. If you cut it on at five
00:21:55.640 in the morning, all the way through. In fact, my young producers, even this morning, were saying
00:21:59.740 the discipline of MSNBC and these guys is shocking. You start at five o'clock in the morning and it's
00:22:06.220 kind of like Ailes used to run Fox, just saying. You go all the way through the day and it's the
00:22:12.900 same message over and over. Got different people coming on and maybe they pull some different data,
00:22:18.640 but it's over and over and over and over again. It's pure propaganda, but they know how to do it.
00:22:25.120 And that's what's so powerful. And we're very diffused. But the point is, this is still a
00:22:29.620 referendum on them. And the American people understand that we have to be maniacally focused
00:22:34.260 on that. Certainly. And I'm a big advocate of Trump announcing now. I'm a big advocate of
00:22:38.840 obviously everything you said. He's the charismatic leader of our movement. He must be defended. And not
00:22:43.840 just that it shows you what lengths, Rudy, they will go to, to kneecap him and take him out. This is
00:22:48.620 what the eighth time we've had to deal with this madness, but it is still a referendum. And that's
00:22:53.800 what tomorrow they're going to try to, they're going to try to change this subject. It's all
00:22:56.660 about anti-democracy. And here's the point. If you want to run on climate change and abortion
00:23:01.340 and democracy, run on that baby. We'll take immigration, inflation, crime, wokeness to the
00:23:08.360 Hispanic community and the African-American community. We'll take all in the economy. You
00:23:12.380 get, you give us that. We'll take those issues. You have your issues. We'll see you on the evening
00:23:17.300 of November 8th. Rudy Giuliani.
00:23:20.160 Well, you're absolutely right, Steve. I mean, that, that is the formula that I could almost
00:23:26.040 assure you will get us the house, the Senate, and probably big surprises in local areas. The
00:23:33.340 other thing we've done that you noted earlier, and they, this, they don't really have a handle
00:23:38.020 on. We're creeping up from the swamps by the swamps. I mean, the parents, the school for the
00:23:46.380 first time, a lot of our people have understood this is local government and local government's
00:23:51.260 got a lot to do with this. And they've taken over and infiltrated our schools by understanding
00:23:56.040 it better than us. But I noticed when my son first got involved running for governor, first
00:24:01.160 thing he did is make an alliance with the parents. And it was one of the smartest things
00:24:04.340 he did. He did about 20, he did about 20 parents races. They have become now, if he wants
00:24:09.920 to stay in politics, they'll be his supporters for 50 years. But that's where it starts. You've
00:24:14.960 got to get, you got to get the people who took for granted that this country was being
00:24:18.880 run right. And just honestly, just, you know, teachers, the teachers know what to do. They
00:24:24.300 got to get in there and find out the teachers are a captive of a communist union. The bureaucrats
00:24:31.800 know what to do. No, they don't. They also are captives of what are left leaning. That's
00:24:38.420 the nicest thing I could say about the public unions, all of whom have an allegiance to a form
00:24:44.100 of government that's different than ours. And that will destroy it. We are getting involved
00:24:48.320 now at the local level.
00:24:49.980 No, they don't even know it. They're not, they're not contesting us. We're beating the
00:24:53.860 hell out of it.
00:24:55.060 This is why I said at the beginning, the thing that shocked him the other night was in Florida,
00:24:58.500 the Moms for Liberty and others, this sweep of the school boards and flipping like Miami
00:25:02.580 Dade. Rudy, before I leave you, I got to, I got to bring this up. Bill Barr, I think it
00:25:06.840 was Barry Weiss. It was a great interview. We've got it up and you got to watch it. I think
00:25:11.240 I got it up on my getter account. Bill Barr was there and he was, I tell you what, he
00:25:16.040 is so terrible at every level. This guy is controlled opposition. His biggest beef in
00:25:21.300 this entire interview is that the far right of the Republican party just continues to get
00:25:27.020 people worked up. This populist movement continues to get people worked up on what's wrong in
00:25:31.180 the country. And what we should do is just have a group hug, right? And just have a group
00:25:34.800 hug and talk about sunlit uplands. And it's all going to be correct. You've gone through
00:25:39.100 a lot of cycles, Rudy, and a lot of turbulence. And you've delivered some sunlit uplands to
00:25:44.660 people through hard work. Is Bill Barr correct? Should we just back off and just go have a
00:25:48.820 group hug with the establishment Republicans and more importantly, the far left, sir?
00:25:53.940 Yeah, well, then we would be like General Conn Wallace at Appomattox. We would have given
00:25:59.680 away, we would have given away our country. And more, more even than that, we would have given
00:26:04.980 away our way of life. Hold it, hold it. You went Rudy on me. Hold it, hold it. You went Rudy on me.
00:26:09.800 General Conn Wallace at Appomattox, you got to, this is your zen master. This is Rudy as zen
00:26:14.660 master. What do you mean General Conn Wallace at Appomattox? Well, I mean, we would have given up the fight.
00:26:23.800 Like, that's the end. The reality is that they want us to descend into a group.
00:26:30.820 Well, Corn Wallace was Yorktown. Lee was Appomattox. So pick a surrender and pick a general.
00:26:36.200 Oh, oh, oh, oh. Did I say Appomattox? I'm sorry. I made a mistake. But basically, it would have been
00:26:42.540 a capitulation. A capitulation, and that's exactly what they want. And it's exactly what they have on
00:26:51.020 the part of some of our people. And the reality is, there's no reason for that. We have, they're
00:27:00.720 trying to convince us that we don't have the resources to win. We're winning this. The mere
00:27:06.900 fact that all they do is talk about us every morning on radio and television, they have nothing else to
00:27:12.900 talk about, tells us that they're deathly afraid of us. What do I do when I'm being attacked and it
00:27:19.420 isn't working? What do you do when you run a campaign and your guy's being attacked and it
00:27:23.580 isn't working? Ignore it. Ignore it. Don't take the bait. Don't take the bait. When you're getting
00:27:28.740 the hell kicked out of you, that's all you talk about. Well, they're getting the hell kicked out
00:27:33.500 of them. They are. And if we could be a little more united, this could be a nice, clean victory.
00:27:39.440 And if Giuliani could remember that it was, uh, it was cool. Cornwallis was a revolution.
00:27:45.900 Maria, Maria, where are you? Help me, baby. Help me, baby. Real quickly. What's, what's the pod?
00:27:52.500 Give me the podcast. How do people get to the podcast?
00:27:54.540 They go to Rudy common sense. No, Rudy Giuliani CS.com. Rudy Giuliani CS.com. Rudy, the great
00:28:04.180 at Yorktown. I got you on. I got the great Steve Bannon on. It's doing great. And I also
00:28:11.060 have the movie on. It's coming out on September 7th. Hunter Biden, my son. Oh, I love it.
00:28:18.820 Done by Davey. It is fabulous. We got to bounce. Thank you.

00:29:37.460 Action, action, action, action. And Jonathan O'Neill, add to that, man, I forgot,
00:29:45.300 did a fund the FBI calls. Republican members of Congress calling the premier law enforcement
00:29:52.180 agency in America, the Gestapo, calling them communists, calling them, you know, thugs,
00:30:01.900 talking about defunding the FBI, calling them the enemy. Newt Gingrich, who's not an elected
00:30:09.820 Republican, but certainly a former Republican speaker calling FBI, proud men and women who
00:30:18.140 protect our country, protect them from drug cartels, protect them from Al Qaeda attacks,
00:30:27.800 from ISIS attacks, from human trafficking. These people who work every day to keep us safe in this
00:30:38.960 country, former Republican speaker of the House calls them wolves, saying they want to devour
00:30:44.280 Americans. Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa. Because I've only got so much time. I can
00:30:49.920 look at his punch list. The premier law enforcement entity in America. And look at what he names.
00:30:56.640 Drug cartels, are you kidding? Give me a break. Give me a break. And I can say that from being
00:31:02.620 inside the administration and having the thing. Drug cartels, are you kidding me? No checkmark.
00:31:09.540 Human trafficking, are you kidding me? And I'm not talking about making some announcement,
00:31:13.600 oh, we got 50 people on some child porn site. No, no, no, no, no, no, no. Human trafficking,
00:31:19.140 are you kidding me? Have you seen the invasion of the Southern border? You see the cartels run the Rio
00:31:24.520 Grand Valley. They run they run northern Mexico and they run the southern border of the United
00:31:29.360 States. Trust me. When you talk Al Qaeda and look, the New York, the NYPD intelligence unit is the
00:31:36.620 one that stopped the 14 attacks. What under Ray Kelly and the other commissioner, right under
00:31:43.180 Bloomberg and Rudy? Stop. It was the NYPD intelligence. It wasn't the FBI. They didn't even want the FBI in the
00:31:49.200 room. And by the way, great job on 9-11. Give me Chinese Communist Party infiltration. Show me
00:31:55.000 anywhere. Show me anywhere with facts, Morning Mika, where the FBI, don't give me your nonsense. The
00:32:00.920 premier law enforcement, yes, they're a bunch of wolves and they should be defunded immediately,
00:32:06.360 hearings later. And today they're all quitting. All the whistleblowers, they should know whistleblowers
00:32:10.980 are coming out of the woodwork. We've asked the great reported columnist for the New York Post,
00:32:16.620 who is really the hero in this story to actually get this thing published. The laptop from hell and
00:32:23.040 the author of the great book to come in and give her assessment of Morning Joe and her assessment of
00:32:28.820 the FBI in developments over the last 24 to 48 hours. The great Miranda Devine. Thank you so much
00:32:35.380 for joining us. Miranda, your assessment of Morning Joe. I had to cut it off. There was another minute and a
00:32:39.600 half I couldn't take anymore. Your assessment of Morning Joe and where do we stand with this FBI
00:32:44.080 development, ma'am? Well, it's interesting that we now have journalists and media operators who are
00:32:53.520 actually defending abuse of power. That's the opposite of what journalism is supposed to be. It's
00:32:59.000 about uncovering abuse of power, exposing it, not defending it and protecting it. And what the FBI
00:33:06.520 is doing and has been doing for a long time is not its proper job. It's not down there at the border now
00:33:14.160 stopping these cartels from trafficking little children. There are videos of little children
00:33:21.440 sedated in the arms of people traffickers. Why is the FBI not there? It's just heartbreaking and
00:33:29.140 unbearable to think of what's happening to these kids once they get to their final destination.
00:33:34.960 Where is the FBI? These are terrible crimes occurring on our soil. Instead of doing those jobs that we
00:33:43.280 pay them $10 billion a year to do, they are busy raiding the former president's home and rifling through
00:33:50.960 his wife's closet. And they are obstructing any investigation into the Hunter Biden material.
00:34:00.400 We had Timothy T. Bolts, the FBI agent of 25 years, marched out of the building the other
00:34:08.720 day, supposedly retired, probably on a full pension generously. Probably, I was trying to work it out
00:34:15.360 yesterday, upwards of $80,000 a year. And he's just one. I mean, that's not going to change anything.
00:34:23.520 He's just one of the cabal of FBI employees, agents, analysts, and so on, who are politically
00:34:31.600 partisan and who are putting their thumbs on the scale of justice, have been doing this for at least
00:34:38.640 since the beginning of Trump's arrival on the public scene. I mean, even before he was president,
00:34:45.940 after he was president, they were spying on him. You just had Rudy Giuliani on. They spied on him
00:34:51.200 for two years. It's, it's, it's, it's, it's obscene, but you, you, you understand how the world
00:34:59.280 works and you can weigh and measure things. If you look at, you know, the domestic terrorism thing
00:35:05.440 about the, uh, about the, uh, the mom, you know, the parental rights movement, people, moms and dads
00:35:09.740 going to school boards. If you look at Tina Peters, a gold star mother chained up like a dog all the
00:35:14.360 way from Peter Navarro to all these, uh, uh, uh, James O'Keefe and others, many others, you know,
00:35:19.460 all the doors kicked down on all the J six stuff for the misdemeanors. And you compare that. I want
00:35:24.580 to go back to the punch list, the cartels, they're not doing anything on the cartels.
00:35:30.280 The FBI has had zero impact on the cartels. I know the cartel wars backwards and forwards have
00:35:35.700 been down there even before the Breitbart situation in 2000, what, eight or nine, you never hear about
00:35:40.880 the FBI. The FBI is not, they're not in the cartel business. They're doing a terrible job and not a job
00:35:45.980 at all in human trafficking. They, they, every now and again, you see 80 guys on some chat room,
00:35:50.380 watching some child porn. That's terrible. Don't get me wrong, but that's not the human trafficking
00:35:54.500 price. ISIS. And now, okay, give me a break. It's the NYPD intelligence units that saved New York
00:36:00.360 city. 14 times they arrest and stop people. Not one time was the FBI involved. Go ask them.
00:36:06.020 They'll tell you, they said they want the FBI out of the room, that joint terrorism task force in the
00:36:09.300 FBI. They said it just got in the way and was so politically correct. The Chinese communist
00:36:14.520 parties infiltrated the entire nation from wall street to the corporations, to Washington DC,
00:36:19.200 to the universities, nothing. Every now and again, you get some assistant professor in agronomy out
00:36:24.300 in Iowa, that stole a seed, right? It's terrible. You got some guy in a research lab with some chemist.
00:36:30.320 They do just enough to say, oh, we're doing all this. And then they just stopped it.
00:36:34.480 But Miranda Devine, as are they the premier law enforcement entity in this nation, ma'am?
00:36:40.260 Absolutely not. And I think their record shows it back a long way. Whether you look at, I mean,
00:36:47.500 yesterday was the anniversary of the death in 2007 of Richard Jewell, the hero security guard who
00:36:54.440 saved countless lives at the Atlanta Olympic bombing in 1996. And he was just smeared and framed
00:37:04.260 and monstered by the FBI because they just wanted an easy scapegoat. They were incompetent and lazy and
00:37:12.560 corrupt and evil, basically. They destroyed that man's life. He died prematurely. And, you know,
00:37:20.060 you go back to Ruby Ridge, Waco. How many disasters have there been? Just in recent times,
00:37:26.860 the Gretchen Whitmer entrapment case. That's blown up in their face. And, you know, the glimpse that we
00:37:36.380 have of this very secretive organisation and the supposed premier law enforcement officers in the
00:37:43.280 land, there was one guy there who was arrested for beating his wife. There was video of the bedroom
00:37:50.680 with blood everywhere. And he'd allegedly beaten her because she objected to his dragging her along to
00:37:58.400 a swingers party. This is one of the great FBI agents that was there in the Gretchen Whitmer case,
00:38:07.520 which the FBI created, concocted out of old cloth, so as to destroy and smear and scapegoat
00:38:16.200 some people who are so marginal, so fringe, so poor. One of them was living in a basement with
00:38:23.340 no electricity and no running water, smoking weed all day. These are the great masterminds that they
00:38:28.800 were spending hundreds of thousands of dollars. I mean, they bribed one of their informants,
00:38:34.300 $54,000 they gave him. How much money are they wasting on these kind of wild goose chases,
00:38:40.580 which are basically all about PR exercises for the FBI?
00:38:45.180 Can you give your, your, you, people don't understand what happened here in the New York
00:38:49.300 Post. And as much as I get on the Murdochs, it was a moment of journalistic heroism of what
00:38:54.300 happened on this laptop from hell. You put your entire, you're revered, and you make a pretty
00:38:59.400 good payday. You put it all on the line, all on the line on this situation of the laptop from hell,
00:39:05.980 Hunter Biden's, and you were smeared immediately. And then FBI sitting there and went to Facebook
00:39:12.480 and Twitter also, and they knew it from December the year before, they were out to smear you and
00:39:18.580 leave you holding the bag and destroy you personally. What is your assessment of the FBI's
00:39:24.640 involvement in what is going to turn out to be a, a, a, a, a article of impeachment on Joe Biden
00:39:30.960 that's coming as sure as the turning of the earth. What was the FBI's involvement, ma'am,
00:39:36.100 in, in bringing any of this to light as the premier law enforcement, as the premier law enforcement,
00:39:42.520 uh, entity in the world. Of course, morning, Mika and Joe said, Oh, they're going to be talking about
00:39:46.600 emails and Hunter Biden's videos or anything like that. What was their involvement when you put your
00:39:51.100 entire career on the line? The New York post put their entire reputation on the line. Even the
00:39:55.900 Murdochs put their entire news operation on the line to get the information out to the American people.
00:40:00.780 in a timely manner, ma'am? Steve, I think it was extremely sinister. I think their role was,
00:40:08.580 uh, more as instigator now. Um, when you, uh, listen to the latest Joe Rogan podcast with Mark
00:40:16.220 Zuckerberg, he let slip some, uh, sort of details or nuance that, uh, wasn't so evident in his, um,
00:40:24.820 Senate testimony, uh, back in 2020. Um, he, he really, um, I guess, let the cat out of the bag
00:40:32.180 in terms of saying that, well, no, uh, the FBI didn't specifically say it was about this story,
00:40:39.760 but he didn't sound very convincing. And when I asked the FBI, uh, the, uh, Facebook, uh, for more
00:40:44.920 details on that, uh, I asked them, did the FBI brief you on Hunter Biden, Joe Biden, Ukraine,
00:40:52.120 or the, or a laptop before, uh, the election? Uh, and they only replied, uh, they did not mention
00:40:59.360 Hunter Biden. So we can assume from their omissions that they did mention Joe Biden, maybe even Ukraine,
00:41:05.460 maybe even a laptop. It certainly was specific enough that Facebook knew within minutes and hours
00:41:12.540 of our story going live on October 14, 2020 to shut it down. And, uh, while Mark Zuckerberg pretends
00:41:20.200 that they weren't as bad as, uh, Twitter, they were worse because they were the first. It was Andy
00:41:26.560 Stone, uh, Facebook's communications manager, uh, a democratic operative from way back, used to work
00:41:32.880 for John Perry, Barbara Boxer, uh, by democratic super PAC. He comes out with a tweet, uh, at 11 AM.
00:41:39.600 And he says, uh, on the day of publication, he says, uh, I'm not going to link to the terrible
00:41:45.560 New York post story. Uh, but, uh, it's certainly eligible for fact checking by our so, you know,
00:41:52.600 honorable third party fact checkers who are all leftists. Um, and, uh, we are now going to, uh,
00:41:59.580 basically suppress it and Twitter followed suit. And so why did the FBI know? So in such detail,
00:42:07.660 what story was coming up weeks before our story was published, maybe even before we even knew
00:42:13.140 about the laptop before Rudy Giuliani told us, well, the FBI had been spying on Rudy Giuliani's cloud.
00:42:21.200 They had access to all his emails and all his text messages, uh, from, uh, I think it was April of,
00:42:28.920 uh, no, sorry, May of 2019. And that was one month after he became, uh, Donald Trump's personal
00:42:37.580 attorney officially. So they started spying on him. Presumably they really wanted to spy on the
00:42:43.580 president of the United States. Um, so at the time, August, uh, 26, 27, when John Paul Mac Isaac
00:42:50.780 contacted Rudy Giuliani to tell him about the laptop that Hunter Biden had abandoned in his store,
00:42:58.100 uh, in Delaware, his computer repair store, um, it back in April of 2019, um, that email that John
00:43:06.060 Paul Mac Isaac sent Rudy Giuliani would have been visible to the FBI because they were spying. So
00:43:12.440 they would have been forewarned about our story. They would have seen my communications with Rudy
00:43:17.520 Giuliani. They knew it all. So they were ready. Miranda, hang on one second. We're going to get
00:43:26.340 to the update on this story when we return. Miranda Devine, the great columnist for the New York

00:45:48.400 Want to go back to Miranda. Miranda, 51 intelligence officers signed that letter that said it was Russian
00:45:54.840 disinformation. Some of those had to check with the FBI. Was the FBI purposely pushing the Russian
00:46:00.980 disinformation lie? Obviously, they knew it was a lie back in December of 2019. Were they actively
00:46:07.260 pushing that? Well, look, circumstantial evidence tells you yes, because they managed to get that
00:46:15.860 letter together within five days of our story going live. That's a record time to get 51 people at
00:46:24.180 disparate, you know, some of them retired, some of them at different agencies, all to sign a letter
00:46:29.380 that was going to be a political bombshell. So they must have been lined up ahead of times. John Brennan
00:46:36.180 certainly played a part in that former CIA agent, sorry, leader. And so, you know, it stands to reason
00:46:44.920 that because I can't stress enough how crucial it was that the FBI had access to all of Rudy Giuliani's
00:46:52.420 communications over that period. So they knew exactly who he was talking to. They knew as the
00:46:59.340 minute pretty much he did that John Paul MacIsaac was spilling the beans. And they knew they thought
00:47:07.120 they had John Paul MacIsaac locked down. They had been menacing to him. They had threatened him when
00:47:12.620 they came to pick up the laptop. They had been extraordinarily rude to his father. And they'd taken
00:47:19.140 the laptop. They'd taken a copy of a hard drive that he'd made a clone of the laptop. And they
00:47:25.260 basically told him to keep his mouth shut. And then he didn't. You know, they gave it to the FBI
00:47:32.320 in December 2019. And then here he is in August of 2020 contacting Rudy Giuliani. So they knew then
00:47:39.280 that they had a problem that they had to shut down. I believe that is why they then preemptively went to
00:47:44.740 social media and other media organizations to warn them with enough detail of what our story would be,
00:47:52.380 or they didn't even know it would be the New York Post at that stage, to give them enough warning so
00:47:57.100 that they would recognize immediately when this story came up and shut it down. And really, you can't
00:48:02.420 blame the social media companies. If the FBI comes to you and basically instructs you that this is going
00:48:09.120 to be Russian disinformation that could damage the election and throw the election, then you kind of
00:48:14.720 have no choice but to shut it down. And so this is the FBI acting in a malign way, in a deliberate way.
00:48:21.800 And then, of course, when Rudy Giuliani was talking to me at the New York Post about getting the story
00:48:29.480 out, they knew exactly when the story was going to come out, which would also explain why Facebook was
00:48:35.180 again, immediately on guard. So I don't think any of this is a coincidence. I think it's a strategy,
00:48:42.080 and it worked very well for them. And we know that because the story was suppressed,
00:48:47.620 half the country at least didn't know about it. Biden voters, two and three, I think, had no idea
00:48:53.440 about the corruption that was revealed about the Biden family on the laptop. And, you know,
00:48:59.960 something like 40%, I think, would have changed their vote had they known. That's polls.
00:49:04.880 But yeah, no, this is why President Trump's putting up on social media right now that,
00:49:10.620 hey, we have to have another election, the thing would be reversed. It's absolutely if people had
00:49:14.700 known this. First off, the independent voters would have would have totally turned against Biden.
00:49:19.300 They know he's compromised. It's not the hunter perversion. As bad as that is, it's the compromise
00:49:24.280 by the Chinese Communist Party. The lap your book is still look, your reporting and your book is still
00:49:29.480 the definitive account of this. And that's going to be I tell everybody, it's a primer for the
00:49:35.040 impeachment hearings are going to take they're going to be impeachment hearings. This is no doubt
00:49:38.220 the compromise. I mean, Miranda, the compromise by the Chinese Communist Party alone for money
00:49:42.480 is absolutely shocking. There's never been any presidential candidate or any candidate for high
00:49:46.720 office has been as compromised by our greatest enemy, Miranda Devine.
00:49:51.680 Yes. And also the quid pro quo, that's pretty clear that Vice President, then Vice President Biden
00:49:59.420 made with Ukraine the withholding of the $1 billion of aid if they didn't fire the very
00:50:05.540 prosecutor, Victor Shokin, who was at that moment investigating Verisma, the company that was
00:50:10.980 paying his son, you know, $83,000 a month. They knew that that was an absolute pot potato.
00:50:17.920 And this is why therefore the impeachment happened. And the FBI knew throughout the impeachment that
00:50:23.740 began in just after they picked up the laptop in December 2019, and went on right up until the
00:50:30.960 pandemic broke in 2020. The FBI knew that they were sitting on it, they were they had looked at the
00:50:38.660 laptop, we know that because one of them rang John Mac Isaac, technical advice, and that there were at
00:50:44.360 least three of them in the room looking at the laptop, they knew what was on it. But it was suppressed
00:50:48.660 by these dirty agents in this cabal in Washington DC, who deliberately suppressed any information,
00:50:56.500 including Tony Bobulinski's material, his hours of interviews that he had with the FBI.
00:51:02.180 All of that was suppressed. Brian Orton, and Timothy T. Bolt are two FBI operatives that we've been told
00:51:10.200 about by the whistleblowers Chuck Brasley's been talking to, but there are many more, and their names
00:51:16.140 will be coming out.
00:51:18.760 Miranda, how do people get the book? How do they get to your reporting? Because this story is going to be
00:51:23.680 dwarf Watergate by many orders of magnitude. How do people get to you?
00:51:27.940 Well, and the books selling on Amazon and all good bookstores Barnes and Noble, some bookstores still
00:51:35.640 refuse to carry it, but so be it. And then you can get me on social media on Twitter, get a truth
00:51:44.240 social at Miranda Devine, also through the New York Post. And your columns are your two times a week,
00:51:52.100 at least in the New York Times?
00:51:54.900 New York Post, yeah.
00:51:56.740 New York Post, New York Post.
00:51:59.840 Miranda Devine at the New York Times, that would be a scoop. Miranda, thank you so much. This story is absolutely
00:52:05.440 a blockbuster. It's only going to get bigger, and we thank you for breaking it, what, a couple of years ago
00:52:11.340 and sticking with it. And it shows you the power of the story. The book's still in hardcover.
00:52:16.140 It's still selling. So when everybody's, the best primer for the impeachment is to get this as your starting point.
00:52:21.880 Miranda Devine, thank you very much. Honored to have you on here.
00:52:24.760 Thank you, Steve.
