Bannon's War Room - Episode 2707： Failed Regulation Of AI

00:00:00.000 this is the primal scream of a dying regime pray for our enemies because we're going medieval on

00:00:10.060 these people here's not got a free shot all these networks lying about the people the people have

00:00:16.660 had a belly full of it i know you don't like hearing that i know you try to do everything

00:00:20.420 the world to stop that but you're not going to stop it it's going to happen and where do people

00:00:24.000 like that go to share the big line mega media i wish in my soul i wish that any of these people

00:00:31.820 had a conscience ask yourself what is my task and what is my purpose if that answer is to save my

00:00:39.760 country this country will be saved war room here's your host stephen k band

00:00:46.980 smote on on the democratic side bobby kennedy jr doing well he's at 19 hasn't really gotten that

00:01:01.860 that much out there i mean it's and i'm starting to hear more and more talk about him are we going

00:01:08.580 to actually have a challenge here i'm trying not to laugh joe there's not going to wait can i just

00:01:13.680 can i stop you for a second do you know how many people said the same thing about donald trump

00:01:19.780 in 2015 on this show except the same exact yes because there was going to be a republican primary

00:01:26.880 but i really think that uh the mealy mouth democrats as i like to call them and some of my

00:01:32.860 progressive friends who would like to live in a fantasy land they need to come back to reality and

00:01:38.360 the reality is this the sitting president of the united states of america is a democrat a democrat

00:01:42.960 that would like to run for re-election so much so that he has declared a re-election campaign

00:01:47.740 in that case the democratic national committee will not facilitate a primary process there will

00:01:53.120 be no debate stage for bobby kennedy marine will marianne williamson or anyone else so we're going

00:01:58.220 to have another bobby kennedy in an empty chair in the debate right there will be no debate

00:02:02.800 the democratic national committee administers the debates and they're not going to set up a

00:02:07.500 primary process for debates to for someone to challenge the head of the democratic party

00:02:12.680 david a lot of democrats concerned about joe biden they they may not be saying it in front of the

00:02:18.120 television camera but man get those cameras off and they're all like oh are we going to make it

00:02:23.400 through the next stage what are we going to uh what what do you think is this just is this what

00:02:27.820 democrats do best so is as obama team said they're bedwetting uh bedwetting democrats

00:02:33.700 there's strong suit but you know that we we do you know fret things through a bit the reality is

00:02:46.580 as simone says joe biden's going to be the candidate joe biden has a great record to run on yeah and

00:02:52.140 joe biden's going to be running against somebody terrible i don't know whether it's donald trump

00:02:56.040 or ron de santis or you know mike comfortable i'm sorry everyone laughed when donald trump went down

00:03:02.280 that escalator and it is not over with trump that that's true but as far as bobby kennedy goes

00:03:07.800 you know it you know he's not going to have 18 percent by the time a primary rolls around

00:03:12.820 he's the steve bannon candidate on the democratic side of the ticket because steve bannon has backed

00:03:19.560 his candidacies and the question is is he on the ballot in states across the country i think

00:03:24.000 sometimes people forget that there is a very technical process when it comes to uh getting

00:03:29.440 on a ballot and so is bobby kennedy uh you know is steve bannon bankrolling his ballot access we don't

00:03:36.480 know but i would venture to say not mika's point though is very important and i mean amy has the data

00:03:41.960 i read it every week honey i'm subscribed a super subscribed and i will just say that it would be a

00:03:48.840 mistake for democrats not to invest early in this race because it is not a foregone conclusion that

00:03:55.240 joe biden is winning re-election there are questions with young voters questions with uh black voters

00:04:00.200 latino voters um we you cannot believe that folks are just going to come back out because the other

00:04:06.120 part of the guy on the ticket on the other side or the woman is a republican but we have a different

00:04:11.360 future in mind the globalists can all go to hell i have come to texas 0.80

00:04:23.760 okay welcome it is uh thursday 4 may year of our lord 2023 we're going to start we're going to get 0.81

00:04:29.280 to the mayhem in the democratic party remember uh joe biden i want you to remember that clip

00:04:34.080 uh when michelle obama announces because uh joe biden right now there's a subpoena

00:04:38.800 that is in a ray fbi director ray as marjorie taylor green broke on this show last night

00:04:44.200 uh a massive investigations underway about a direct link to a foreign national and joe biden of taking

00:04:50.920 cold hard cash for policy changes while he was vice president united states also the contagion the

00:04:57.940 bank contagion uh continues a couple hundred points down the dowry when we get to all of that 0.99

00:05:02.740 but we got to go we're going to go to budapest matt schlapp matt uh it was great that victor

00:05:08.580 orban came to texas and to be brutally frank about it victor orban gave the of all the great

00:05:14.460 speeches victor orban's was the best speech at cpaq texas talk to us about budapest talk to us

00:05:20.700 about cpaq hungary round two sir yeah so we heard from the prime minister of hungary today and it's

00:05:26.900 amazing uh steve i was telling you all the left-wing european press who the hungarians didn't allow to

00:05:33.500 come into the hall to cover orban last year and they thought if they just called us every name

00:05:38.320 in the book that maybe we wouldn't come back again but we did come back and orban gave a different

00:05:43.420 speech this time and it's interesting you know all the things that he was called a racist and a fascist 0.59

00:05:49.020 and a nazi and an islamophobe and all these crazy invectives um if you really look at all those issues

00:05:54.780 he's been on the right side of history and it's almost like he's calmly as an elder statesman 0.98

00:06:00.100 walking through why having borders and having uh control over migration and why sexualizing kids

00:06:07.160 he was one of the first people to say we got to keep these crazy woke people away from our kids

00:06:12.080 and uh and hold on to our christian norms he looks like a prophet today and and he gave a great speech

00:06:18.780 and it was great to be here with him by the way i was able to thanks to your good offices get four or

00:06:26.140 five minutes by video today we're we're going to host we got bishop schneider here uh for a big event

00:06:31.980 um so i couldn't make it but i said the same you know sore if you look at orban he wonders about

00:06:38.380 source and fought source we're deep into the source wars on wokeness uh he was also the first to say

00:06:44.800 your sovereignty is tied to these invasions are going on he was the first one put a fence up full

00:06:50.140 around this country and beat it back and the third he's been the voice of reason about ukraine

00:06:55.060 they're taking ukrainian refugees that shows you that the hungarian people are open to do that if

00:07:00.520 necessary uh but he's been the kind of the the in particular as you have you know uh you're having

00:07:06.480 drone attacks uh they're talking about increasing nuclear weapons alerts uh very scary what's happening

00:07:12.020 right now uh your perspective of what orban has done for america sir yeah so there is this relationship

00:07:19.940 between orban and trump and you're right the messaging is they literally say here make children

00:07:26.780 not war it's wild you have the left wingers who always wore the you know the peace beads and the

00:07:32.640 love beads and we're always uh preaching pacifism that the war drums uh about ukraine are amazing and

00:07:39.980 after they lectured uh people like orban and trump on immigration it's hungry that's taking the people

00:07:48.140 from ukraine who are fleeing the war site um because those are true migrants and uh and orban's 0.61

00:07:54.460 no fan of vladimir putin i haven't met a hungarian who likes uh putin by the way that that's kind of a

00:07:59.740 another media myth and so you have this relationship between trump policies of nationhood and steve you were

00:08:07.780 uh someone who started re-explaining to people this idea of the nation state and what happens in the eu

00:08:13.700 is it just takes one of the weak sisters in the eu to come up with a bad policy and then they all have

00:08:20.120 to accept the same policy it's kind of a strange form of a confederation where the weakest link

00:08:25.680 dictates what everyone else must do and and victor orban has said no he said no on a variety of issues

00:08:31.360 including most recently this radical gender theory that's spread everywhere and now the eu is trying

00:08:37.060 to say to him well then we're not going to give you the money that you should get back through our

00:08:41.200 system from tax revenues another and i think the biden administration is exploring uh uh using

00:08:47.160 sanctions against hungary because they're they're not beating that war drum and i tell you he's

00:08:52.960 stubborn uh the economy is tough over here in europe because of the energy prices and the energy problems

00:08:58.560 because of the war that it's not an easy situation i don't think this man's going to buckle and i think

00:09:04.120 the american people want a leader who won't buckle as well matt tell me about the you know you were

00:09:11.540 good enough to get uh orban to come to the united states and give that kind of landmark address in

00:09:15.960 texas last summer you've got a pretty impressive american contingent that cpac has brought to buddhapest

00:09:23.320 give us a highlight of that yeah so it's a who's who of the conservative movement i just ran into

00:09:28.920 uh kevin roberts uh from the heritage foundation uh we have uh folks here from judicial watch we have

00:09:36.480 folks here bob mckeon from the council for national policy so it's a who's who of conservatives and then

00:09:41.640 we have uh two congressmen here uh paul gosar barry moore and uh and of course carrie lake is here and

00:09:48.400 carrie lake is a phenomenon internationally people should understand that she's not just a phenomenon

00:09:52.500 in arizona or in america but over here uh in hungary as well and she's made her uh she's done a ton of

00:09:59.600 media appearances and you know it's a relatively small country six to nine million people depending on

00:10:04.500 how you count it and they uh they punch way above their weight politically and i think orban and the

00:10:10.460 americans who are here spreading this message i think the message is you know even if you're a little

00:10:15.840 guy or you're not a superpower um you can start to change the way uh business is done in your country

00:10:23.980 and in your region and that's what's happening here and i think i'm proud of the fact cpac has

00:10:29.540 played a large role in a lot of these countries on pushing uh pushing back on this globalist agenda we

00:10:36.220 have eduardo veraziga here from mexico we're gonna have dates for cpac mexico soon i expect a lot of

00:10:41.820 great things from eduardo that guy uh might change the very face of mexican politics i think there's a

00:10:47.300 there's a people's revolt that's just burgeoning to break through and i just pray that that revolt

00:10:52.420 uh and that pushback uh cures what's going on in america too i loved watching your mika and joe

00:10:59.260 back and forth i have my own theories about what's going to happen in our presidential race

00:11:03.420 um by the way hungary always punches you're right they punch above their weight remember they're

00:11:10.120 the first one really to revolt from the from the soviets back in 56 and uh they threw down hard

00:11:15.540 which is kind of the lineage that that orban and these are these patriots that work about their

00:11:20.720 sovereignty uh last thing matt you talk about and by the way you're talking about a future president

00:11:24.900 of mexico i think right there i agree but bolsonaro uh matt i know you're very close to the

00:11:30.360 bolsonaros uh yeah you're president bolsonaro and of course eduardo and the entire family

00:11:35.340 he goes back to uh he goes back to brazil and immediately they trump up something about some

00:11:41.040 vaccine card and you know they seize his passport your your thoughts about that yeah i mean this

00:11:46.700 is the scary thing as our weaponized judicial system is going after president trump both at the

00:11:52.660 national level and the local level this is what countries like brazil do when you lose power they

00:11:57.560 try to put you in prison uh jair bolsonaro has done nothing wrong the only thing he did wrong is he's

00:12:02.840 victim of another bad election scheme and uh he's not sitting uh in their presidential palace and for

00:12:08.740 that reason uh they uh they're going to try to they're they've done everything they can to damage

00:12:14.320 his health and to put him in jail and uh and you know we expect that more to the south of us we don't

00:12:19.480 expect that here um i think jair bolsonaro is one of the most courageous politicians i've ever met

00:12:25.320 i have deep respect for the fact that he's not going to give up on brazil i hope he runs again

00:12:29.540 i wouldn't be surprised if he finds himself behind bars um and i'm just disgusted i'm disgusted that

00:12:35.820 merrick garland and the rest of these uh apparatchiks are trying to bring what tin pock dictators do 0.97

00:12:42.960 uh in in countries to the south to america to the great city of new york city they're destroying our

00:12:49.240 country by bringing these disgraceful policies and it takes a rare person to stand up against them

00:12:54.260 and donald trump is that rare person uh last thing matt jordan has announced he's doing an

00:13:00.380 invest full investigation on the really the attempts to assassinate and intimidate the supreme court after

00:13:06.260 the leaking of the dobbs uh you know the the draft of the dobbs uh you know um declaration the dobbs uh

00:13:14.340 what they came down their final um draft they leaked that then they went to their houses jordan's now

00:13:19.640 saying hey why was nobody arrested he's doing an investigation we had the o'keefe schlapp and now

00:13:25.420 we got the justice thomas give me give us a minute on clarence thomas and then going after him hard

00:13:30.320 yeah so uh clarence thomas is guilty of uh being the intellectual leader on the supreme court and he's got

00:13:39.960 no desire to tuck his tail between his legs and leave the stage and that's quite simply what he's guilty

00:13:47.060 of now they're going to find every made-up crime or ethical lapse that they possibly can in attempt

00:13:54.440 to push him off that court now they either want to push him off that court because they say at his age

00:13:59.300 you know maybe it's just easier to be in retirement and then they lose that intellectual bright light or

00:14:04.760 they're going to try to impeach him let's be clear that's their next step impeach as many trump or

00:14:11.000 conservative picks to the court as they possibly can and look my wife and i have been victims

00:14:15.820 when the left-wing media that cabal decides to put you on an enemies list and i'm told that we're on

00:14:21.300 those and i bet you're on most of them steve you're probably above us and i'm sure clarence thomas is

00:14:25.740 probably above each of us when they decide to put you on that list they will stop at nothing to

00:14:29.840 destroy you conservatives want to win political debates and win elections the left wants to destroy

00:14:34.720 and crush your soul and we won't let them do it

00:14:37.400 matt how do people get to you follow you in hungary at m schlapp the twitter feed is going crazy and

00:14:45.180 you can watch cpac hungry if you go to cpac.org it's being live streamed as we speak

00:14:49.880 thank you brother we'll start picking it up thank you brother

00:14:55.280 inflation has consequences as the fed raises interest rates to combat out-of-control government

00:15:06.660 spending long-term bonds have diminished in value crippling banks depositors are holding their

00:15:12.620 breath and investors are bailing on bank stocks diversification has never looked more important

00:15:20.420 to you the recent surge in gold prices is directly tied to the extreme market volatility right now

00:15:28.160 this is why gold has historically been a great hedge against the stock market and against inflation

00:15:34.360 now would be a great time to diversify into gold with birch gold group birch gold makes it easy to

00:16:35.020 major companies developing artificial intelligence it comes as the white house rolls out a set of

00:16:42.140 initiatives meant to balance safety concerns with the technology's potential to improve lives

00:16:48.460 joining us now the chair of the federal trade commission lena khan she has a new piece for

00:16:54.260 the new york times entitled we must regulate a i and here's how and you say we really face a moment

00:17:01.200 of choice right now as it pertains to a r ai so that perhaps history does not repeat itself explain

00:17:07.980 that's exactly right look there's no doubt that these ai tools could deliver enormous benefits and

00:17:13.620 enormous uh advances for people's lives but we as enforcers and regulators also need to be clear-eyed

00:17:19.860 about the risks look there's no doubt that looking at the past two decades and how major social media

00:17:25.320 firms evolves you know we might have some regrets and being proactive at this moment in time can help

00:17:31.040 ensure that these technologies are delivering innovation but without subjecting people to predatory

00:17:35.740 or exploitative business models and we have existing tools and existing laws on the books and so ai may be

00:17:41.820 new but they don't enjoy some type of legal exemption or legal shield from the existing rules and the

00:17:47.440 legal existing rules will apply as you said this is often a black box we don't understand how the

00:17:53.900 algorithms achieve the results that they come up with we're learning that the chat gpt sometimes tells

00:17:59.700 lies trying to give us the right answer in quotation marks and it's an extraordinary regulatory

00:18:06.100 challenge to to regulate things that we don't fully understand and if you could just explain to all of

00:18:12.480 us how you're how you're thinking about doing that i think it'd be really helpful so there are existing

00:18:17.700 laws on the books that require companies be able to explain decisions that they're making especially

00:18:23.060 when those decisions are determining whether people have access to health care whether those people

00:18:27.160 have access to the financial system and simply for a company to say the computer made me do it the robot

00:18:33.360 made me do it is not an answer you have to actually be able to explain the decision making so companies

00:18:38.580 should know that they can't just hide behind the black box nature of these algorithms they're going

00:18:43.100 to be accountable joining us now to discuss jeffrey hinton uh jeffrey thanks so much for joining us so

00:18:47.600 you left your job with google in part because you say you want to focus solely on your concerns

00:18:51.120 about ai you've spoken out saying that ai could manipulate or possibly figure out a way to kill

00:18:57.480 humans how could it kill humans well eventually if it gets to be much smarter than us it'll be very

00:19:05.280 good at manipulation because it will have learned that from us and very few examples of a more

00:19:11.360 intelligent thing being controlled by a less intelligent thing and it knows how to program

00:19:16.020 so it'll figure out ways of getting around um restrictions we put on it it'll figure out ways

00:19:20.980 of manipulating people to do what it wants so what do we do do we just need to pull the plug on it right

00:19:26.160 now do we need to put in far more restrictions and and and uh backstops on this how do we solve this

00:19:33.500 problem it's not clear to me that we can solve this problem um i believe we should put a big effort

00:19:41.620 into thinking about ways to solve the problem i don't have a solution at present i just want people

00:19:46.540 to be aware that this is a really serious problem and we need to be thinking about it very hard i don't

00:19:52.540 think we can stop the progress i didn't sign the petition saying we should stop working on ai

00:19:56.960 because if people in america stopped people in china wouldn't it's very hard to verify whether

00:20:02.220 people are doing it okay um three years late but because of this audience and your persistence

00:20:10.800 you're not only you're not only chairman of the creditors committee you're also obviously

00:20:16.240 the defenders of you believe we fight for their own for the replacement theory here

00:20:22.420 the replacement of homo sapiens right the replacement of man made in the image and likeness of god

00:20:29.200 of uh what they call it biology not not not uh not uh not silicone um i want to bring in joe allen

00:20:38.840 complete total panic mode now total and complete panic mode the white house is going to have an

00:20:45.300 white house is going to have a meeting executive orders they're all total and complete panic

00:20:49.860 total total and complete panic and we told you 100 days in the chat gpt and this but alan joe help

00:21:00.160 me out here and by the way you sir have done a great service to your country and a great service to

00:21:05.040 mankind because it is your reporting your analysis you're connecting dots that nobody else is doing

00:21:11.200 nobody else and um are giving you the platform and pushing this as the signal not the noise 1.00

00:21:19.060 and what did i tell you a year ago this is going to be a major topic in 2024 and you had those idiots 0.99

00:21:25.900 in politico the other day talk about oh the the topics not being talked about it was all just nonsense 0.99

00:21:31.100 this is going to be huge and this is hey i'm not a machine guy although i'm much more savvy on it now

00:21:37.080 because of mike lindell and his great work right i'm a i'm a you know mail-in ballots non-verified

00:21:42.440 signature is how they stole it but right now this ai the machine's got to come out because ai a the

00:21:49.360 machine will pick who they want to be president now you have the white house in full panic mode

00:21:54.560 uh joe you're gonna be with me for one i know you're in a special project we're gonna come in and

00:21:58.840 out of this because i gotta get dave bratt up here in a minute for the economy so much stuff's

00:22:02.500 happening this morning but i want to before we jump into this panic mode and and what they're

00:22:07.240 doing in this white house meeting and all this and they're going to put up all these rules

00:22:10.540 i want to remind people and i put this up on getter this morning this is why you got to be on getter

00:22:15.740 because you immerse yourself in kind of the pre-show of of what we're thinking and how we're how

00:22:20.480 we're processing this this white house signed an executive order that's one of the most dangerous

00:22:28.080 executive orders in the history of this country just a few months ago of which it was joe allen

00:22:33.560 that broke it down and it's the transhumanist executive order now they they say oh it's the

00:22:38.640 moonshot for cancer it's the moonshot for cancer we told you at the time and ai is a part of this

00:22:45.000 ai is definitely a part of it although it may not jump off the page as some of the other

00:22:49.260 biological but you have things going on the weapons labs right now you know lawrence livermore sandia

00:22:56.220 all the weapons labs that used to focus on nuclear weapons right now that now they're focused on

00:23:02.080 biological weapon defense hmm and uh and ai and others and all these biological things they're

00:23:10.720 doing and darpa and all of it and that's just and that that should be quote unquote the good guys

00:23:16.700 quote unquote you have no earthy idea what's happening in china what's happening in in in in the in

00:23:23.740 korea north korea what's happening in parts of eastern europe what's happening in wait for it

00:23:27.940 the ukraine and russia and all of it romania transylvania you have no earthy idea what's going

00:23:36.040 on here and now they're in a panic mode a hundred days after chat gbt hey dude you're supposed to get

00:23:43.940 the intelligence briefing every day didn't you know about this a couple years ago are they spoon feeding

00:23:48.500 this old man the this mash peas in the peaches that jill feeds him every morning are they giving

00:23:53.840 him a real intelligence brief i mean what's happening here all of a sudden they you know they hear war

00:23:59.880 room and oh my god they're in back of bobby kennedy's thing and that's why kenny's 21 and now they're

00:24:05.100 talking about ai and we got to get on that come on you stole the presidency don't act like you know

00:24:11.580 you know you're totally illegitimate everybody in the world knows you're illegitimate nobody nobody 0.93

00:24:15.340 treats you as a commander chief nobody treats you as a president of the united states but why don't

00:24:20.100 you try to act like it joe allen tell me about the the first exec i want people not to forget

00:24:25.180 our specialty here is connecting dots do not forget this first executive order that's one of the most

00:24:31.700 dangerous executive orders ever signed by a uh a a guy occupying 1600 pennsylvania avenue and that's all

00:24:42.140 he's doing and by the way he ain't going to be the nominee he's not going to be the nominee bobby

00:24:46.640 kennedy's a 21 you got newsome hanging over there and you got michelle obama and susan rice and they're

00:24:53.460 just watching this guy you've got now that they they've got subpoenas over at chris ray this whole

00:24:58.420 thing that comer and mtg are on and and uh grassley is big league big league joe allen thoughts observations

00:25:08.660 analysis well steve much like with the executive order on biotechnology and biomanufacturing

00:25:16.680 and the creation of arpa h the advanced research projects agency for health uh what we see is the

00:25:24.320 federal government trying to basically put reins on a wild horse that as we heard there about the you

00:25:32.120 know the black box problem a wild horse that really can't be predicted with any great accuracy

00:25:37.880 and ultimately the more powerful it gets can't be controlled and so you have of course the genetic

00:25:45.540 revolution ongoing uh you have massive bio foundries which are you know pretty much uh producing novel

00:25:53.760 mutants by the thousands every day such as ginkgo bioworks which is where the head of arpa h comes out of

00:26:02.080 and then you have all of the different experimentation that's being done right now on gene therapy

00:26:07.680 in human beings there are about 200 clinical trials on that and of course right now it's at the healing

00:26:14.360 phase right right now it's at the phase that okay we can use this to cure cancer or heart disease or

00:26:20.640 diabetes but me the people working in these projects both with the federal government and of course with

00:26:28.080 the corporations have a transhumanist orientation and when i came on two years ago steve i mean that was

00:26:34.940 the focus and it still is the only reason we haven't talked about transhumanism as a philosophy so much

00:26:41.900 is because at this point the public awareness of the technologies that transhumanists are pushing for

00:26:49.580 this sort of cultural and biological and spiritual revolution those technologies are coming to fruition

00:26:56.760 and so that includes the genetic engineering that comes out of you know the companies like ginkgo

00:27:02.620 bioworks so on and so forth but it now more and more so at least in the public mind this has been

00:27:07.820 happening for a decade or more now you have artificial intelligence flooding public consciousness because

00:27:15.120 people are realizing that this is not just a glorified calculator these machines not only have

00:27:22.540 significant pattern recognition power but they also are completely unpredictable in their decision making

00:27:29.900 processes by the way before we go to break joe hang around i'm gonna get brad up we're gonna talk

00:27:36.140 capital marks when we get back to this when he's talking waking up the stock about ai takes first scalp

00:27:41.580 as education sector shares tumble over chat gpt warning right there in the beloved financial times of

00:27:48.540 london the reason is is that one of the um the consulting companies that had made a fortune had a hot stock

00:27:54.940 providing uh providing uh tutoring to your children about their homework plummeted

00:28:01.100 because they're all using chat gpt not to do their homework not to help with their homework

00:28:06.220 to basically just do the homework and hand it in the company imploded okay we're gonna get back to all of

00:28:13.660 this in a moment we got a lot investigations capital markets economy contagion the banking system

00:28:19.660 chat gpt ai everywhere only in the war room in my younger days i was a naval officer on a destroyer

00:28:35.180 in fact i was the a-gang officer in charge of all the engineering systems that were not main propulsion

00:28:41.740 and one of those was air purification and i can tell you the standards of the united states navy are

00:28:46.860 second to none if all home air purifiers are the same why did the u.s department of defense select

00:28:53.260 envirocleans to protect and purify the air on board our navy ships because of via cleanse advanced mineral

00:29:00.220 technology goes beyond ordinary hepa filters to destroy airborne illness causing cold and flu viruses

00:29:07.820 including covid envirocleans is the new science in air purification and now you can order one for

00:29:15.180 your home this is how you help stop colds and flus from taking your whole family down this is how you

00:29:20.940 destroy allergy and flaming toxins and mold from the air your family breathes in fact this hospital 0.93

00:29:26.460 grade technology is so powerful that it promises far fewer colds and allergies and better sleep visit ekpure.com

00:29:35.260 that's ekpure.com and use the code steve for ten percent off your envirocleans home purification unit

00:29:43.180 you also receive a free air quality monitor plus fast free shipping that's 150 savings right there

00:29:53.740 that's ekpure.com code steve ekpure.com code steve

00:29:59.820 it seems we have to die tomorrow as usual they will poison us with gas

00:30:11.500 what gas sir it'll be fine we can withstand it

00:30:16.780 problem is boys i don't know what gas they'll use but i think it'll be scary

00:30:20.540 and we have no protection against it is there really no protection against this poison

00:30:37.020 there was only one problem and that was the double-edged sword of chemical warfare

00:30:40.940 it didn't recognize your military colors it killed everyone equally

00:30:44.620 and when both sides looked at what these new weapons had done they were horrified

00:30:55.180 we are entering a zone of danger we spent 30 or 40 years in the most intense negotiations over arms

00:31:03.100 treaty related to nuclear weapons chemical weapons because of world war one biological weapons with the

00:31:09.980 biological weapons treaty is even not that great to hence the chinese communist party is developing

00:31:15.260 offensive uh biological weapons on gain of function non-stop of what we know this is the whole fauci

00:31:20.540 situation this makes that look like child's play and the reason is this

00:31:28.300 engine this thing will actually can be creating its own biological weapons without any ability of to 0.99

00:31:34.140 control it well can't you see what i'm trying to say can't you feel the fear i'm feeling today

00:31:44.460 when the button is pushed there's no running away they can solve a protein structure in a matter of

00:31:50.940 seconds how long would it have taken using traditional methods if you think 200 million times

00:31:57.900 five that's a billion years of phd time it would have taken a billion years these are the smartest guys

00:32:06.140 on the planet a billion years of destruction he did it they did it in what 10 seconds yeah

00:32:15.340 artificial intelligence and a free society are absolutely and totally incompatible full freaking

00:32:23.020 you stop when the world ends go back to that clip right there if you're not scared out of your wits

00:32:32.060 then you're not a sentient being

00:32:42.620 we'll end with a note that you may be hearing often the proceeding was created with 100 human content

00:32:53.020 don't don't don't don't take it from don't take it from war room that you got a problem don't take

00:33:00.140 it from joe allen that you got a problem the white morning joe morning meek all of them they're all

00:33:04.780 their hair's on fire right now their hair's on fire right now the the white house run around

00:33:10.780 trying to get an executive order they're going to have meetings they got commerce secretary they're

00:33:14.220 they're going to get the ftc the federal trade commission the administrative state hey how about

00:33:21.660 this don't don't get the ftc to put up a regulation drop the hammer right now cease everything stops

00:33:28.940 until this is what the top guys in the ai are saying the guys that didn't sign the letter and they

00:33:34.460 didn't sign the letter because it wasn't tough enough they're saying hey look at the computer the

00:33:41.180 computational data centers and if any of these are rogue and have not shut down all um all

00:33:47.980 experimentation immediately take them out with a missile strike

00:33:54.540 not bandon saying that not joe allen saying that these are guys that have dedicated their lives and

00:33:59.420 the visionaries of it you got jeffrey hinton and i know this from the deep mind guys i told you about

00:34:05.500 the the the great filmmakers made the movie when you see the footage from this film

00:34:09.180 that was shot in 2018 your head will blow up the top thinkers in this space the top thinkers in

00:34:18.060 this space are now and now they've officially hit the panic button as they should have hit a long time

00:34:23.340 ago and hey the ftc the federal trade commission is not going to stop this joe allen i want to go to the

00:34:29.420 heart of that in the 60 minutes thing we we ought to get and deconstruct that line by line because it's

00:34:34.780 so important but the middle of that and this is what the immediate problem is i want you to describe

00:34:42.220 to people about the protein in the one billion years of phd what does that actually mean because we're

00:34:48.220 then i want you to address the dark side of it he gave you the positive side of it which is quite

00:34:53.660 positive but there's a big league dark side that's like hmm i don't know a hundred times uh bad you know

00:35:01.980 know if that's good this a hundred times worse joe allen yes steve that was a demis hasabas deep

00:35:09.100 mind google acquisition by the way they're merging now with google's other ai projects uh with google

00:35:15.820 ai what he's talking about is a program called alpha fold and we've covered this a lot on the show

00:35:23.340 alpha fold is a deep learning program that's able to predict the 3d protein structure that will result

00:35:31.580 from any genetic code right and so the purpose of it is to kind of fast track the uh the ability to

00:35:40.460 predict the function of a protein especially a protein that has been genetically manipulated that's

00:35:47.500 the primary use other than finding out uh very quickly what a protein that exists in nature would be

00:35:54.380 shaped like and fit into another protein to create a catalytic reaction it allows researchers to predict

00:36:03.020 what the genetic mutations that they're working on will do without before they ever set foot into an

00:36:09.900 actual bio lab and it's not just google's deep mind working on this you have similar programs coming

00:36:16.780 out of meta of all places and even more surprising to me um out of sales force and there are a number

00:36:23.820 of other companies that are doing this and so what it means is that if you want to create uh medicine

00:36:30.460 then you can do it much more rapidly a medicine would include something like i don't know an mrna

00:36:35.980 vaccination uh that has not really been vetted you can fast track that you can also fast track

00:36:42.380 bio weapons and so there was actually a study it was published a few months ago uh it came out of

00:36:48.780 the swiss federal uh commission on nuclear biological and chemical protection and what they did is use

00:36:55.500 machine learning techniques to see if if they could quickly generate toxins that would of course be fatal to

00:37:02.380 human beings or detrimental to human health and within six hours their system produced about 40 000

00:37:08.540 different toxins bio weapon grade toxins um in silico of course and so what that means is just it's

00:37:17.180 just an example of how it could be used to kill people slow down slow down slow down slow down this is

00:37:23.980 why you got the guy at salesforce who's a who's a bad hombre who owns time magazine this way you got

00:37:29.260 zuckerberg and meta dumping the the little phony universe and focus on this because this is real power

00:37:36.300 this is real raw power i want you to go back and give me the 40 000 again listen i know you're

00:37:44.540 sitting there going bannon i i i got the i got the debt ceiling i got the invasion of the southern

00:37:49.100 border i got these investigations you know i'm pulling my hair out as is and you're dropping this on me

00:37:54.700 why do you do this to me we do it to you because you are the one group in this nation and that means the

00:38:03.420 world that can do the right thing and set things right we don't put this on you to ruin an otherwise

00:38:11.020 beautiful may morning okay this is why we talk about things years in advance and when they start

00:38:16.700 coming to a head you know we got to go active give me that again on the 40 000 because this was as we

00:38:25.180 said the time when 60 minutes did it this was defcon one right this was defcon one and i've had a lot

00:38:31.100 of smart people in this space you know come to me and go hey this is not a ticking time bomb this is

00:38:37.740 this is a horse that's a time bomb that is now out of the gate give it to me again when the what the

00:38:42.460 practice uh what they did just i guess theoretically in silicon but could be replicated easily walk me

00:38:48.460 through that again so this audience can fully embrace on a beautiful may morning exactly what we're

00:38:54.620 talking about well steve as we've tried to emphasize artificial intelligence the power of artificial

00:39:01.900 intelligence really lies in its ability to explore all of these different possibilities and locate the

00:39:08.780 most effective or efficient possibility in any scenario it's not flawless but it certainly works a

00:39:14.940 lot otherwise you wouldn't see it being used so much in the financial sector or in the military and so

00:39:20.540 what you have in the case of biological uh whether it's just overall biomedicine or bioweapons it is

00:39:29.420 able to explore all of these different chemical or biological possibilities and show you and match it to

00:39:37.260 data sets that would give you the most efficient path to create a medicine or to create a bioweapon so

00:39:43.820 in this study what they did is they just use machine learning techniques to explore all the

00:39:51.100 possible toxins chemical toxins that would affect a human being and it rapidly again in six hours produced

00:39:59.180 about 40 000 a pallet of 40 000 different biochemical weapons that could be used on human beings now of

00:40:07.500 course they didn't test them on human beings but they did test it against existing biochemical weapons

00:40:14.300 and they found it to be remarkably accurate if i recall correctly it was somewhere in the

00:40:18.460 neighborhood of 80 and that's somewhere in the neighborhood of the accuracy of alpha folds

00:40:24.300 record which people will say oh well it's just a mistake you don't you can't look at the misses

00:40:30.540 the hits are what matter and so if it hits even once and a bad actor is using it then you've got real

00:40:37.660 problems but if it hits 80 of the time and a number of people have access to this or

00:40:43.500 as jeffrey hinton fears an ai system goes rogue itself and starts doing this then you've got real

00:40:50.380 problems at least kamala harris is on this though right so 0.71

00:40:54.060 yeah i feel so much better hinton's telling he's stepping aside to dedicate his life

00:41:01.820 to this he's telling you already it's going to start doing it itself

00:41:05.260 hinton's it couldn't be clearer hang on for a second let me bring in my moral philosopher

00:41:11.900 uh dave bratt from liberty university i know i got you here for the the grubby banking system

00:41:18.380 and the contagion that's spreading through there we're gonna get to that in a moment

00:41:21.260 uh step back and from the judeo-christian west perspective i mean this is the antichrist this

00:41:28.140 is what's been created and now you have people who are not particularly with us on the religious aspect

00:41:34.220 are in panic mode dave bratt yeah well a lot in life uh depends on who's talking to you right i heard

00:41:41.740 a good uh sermon i'll summarize it in two sentences uh sunday the mosaic law was love your neighbor as

00:41:48.540 yourself on a human level christ came and said love your neighbor as i have loved you

00:41:55.820 raising it to the god plane jesus as god and so what matters and what why this war room show is so

00:42:03.420 credible uh it's because the issues you pick uh it demonstrates the love you have and the folks on

00:42:11.020 the show have for the people watching there's some political commentary out there this week about the

00:42:16.140 the likability of candidates but someone posed it much better what really matters is whether the

00:42:22.540 people feel that that candidate loves them right and so these authors of ai artificial intelligence i

00:42:29.100 don't think they could name an ethical system that they follow not an academic system not even you know

00:42:34.460 aristotelian ethics or whatever yeah and so what it's the people that are talking to you that matter

00:42:40.300 you got to hold on hold on hang on hang on ho ho ho slow down slow down slow we've warned about

00:42:45.020 this go back hit the rewind give the audience that again that's the problem they don't come from any 0.94

00:42:49.900 ethical system right and this is serious and and this is why you have salesforce it's not

00:42:57.180 this is why you have the guy that owns salesforce that bought time magazine he's all over this

00:43:01.900 this is why you have that scumbag zuckerberg all over this this is why the 60 minutes thing was

00:43:07.580 couldn't been shouted louder from a rooftop this is raw power of how one controls the world and 0.94

00:43:14.300 here's the problem it's not controllable it's not controllable and we've been warned about this in myth

00:43:20.380 and legend prometheus and all we've been we've been warned about this for from time immemorial

00:43:27.260 when man tries to be god okay that is what we have here we have man trying to be god and look at the

00:43:33.820 people that are trying to be god you don't see him in the pew next to you at church on sunday you

00:43:39.340 don't see him at the synagogue next to you you don't see them at the mosque you know they they 0.98

00:43:43.340 these are atheistic amoral dangerous people and this is what they've now wrought 0.99

00:43:51.420 dave brad joe allen next war room

00:43:53.420 i don't know about you it takes a lot to shock me these days but to see our judicial system resemble

00:44:05.660 a third world banana republic to see trusted american companies embrace insane and destructive 0.78

00:44:11.420 woke ideologies is frankly depressing we must fight back and that starts with changing the way we spend

00:44:18.780 our money for years big mobile companies have been dumping millions into leftist causes and we had to

00:44:24.620 take it because there was not another option well there is one now patriot mobile america's only

00:45:59.660 no more censorship no more cancel culture enough getter has arrived it's time to say what you want

00:46:08.380 the way you want download now this new one looks pretty good really did you know ron desantis backed deep

00:46:17.420 cuts to social security and medicare ron desantis yeah he voted to cut social security or medicare not once

00:46:24.380 not twice but three times desantis even tried to raise the retirement age to 70. i thought

00:46:30.220 desantis was one of the good ones but he's just another career politician

00:46:36.220 america needs trump make america great again inc is responsible for the content of this advertising

00:46:42.140 demis hasaba sold deep mind to google in 2014 one reason was to get his hands on this

00:46:50.540 google has the enormous computing power that ai needs this computing center is in prior oklahoma

00:46:58.140 but google has 23 of these putting it near the top in computing power in the world this is one of two

00:47:06.780 advances that make ai ascendant now first the sum of all human knowledge is online and second brute force

00:47:16.780 computing that very loosely approximates the neural networks and talents of the brain things like

00:47:24.860 memory imagination planning reinforcement learning these are all things that are known about how the

00:47:30.620 brain does it and we wanted to replicate some of that in our ai systems you predict one of those those are

00:47:36.860 some of the elements that led to deep mind's greatest achievement so far solving an impossible problem in

00:47:44.140 biology proteins are building blocks of life but only a tiny fraction were understood because 3d mapping of

00:47:53.340 just one could take years deep mind created an ai program for the protein problem and set it loose

00:48:02.860 well it took us about four or five years to to figure out how to build the system it was probably our

00:48:07.180 most complex project we've ever undertaken but once we did that it can solve a protein structure in a matter

00:48:13.180 of seconds and actually over the last year we did all the 200 million proteins that are known to science

00:48:18.860 how long would it have taken using traditional methods well the rule of thumb i was always told by my

00:48:24.220 biologist friends is that it takes a whole phd five years to do one protein structure experimentally

00:48:30.540 so if you think 200 million times five that's a billion years of phd time it would have taken

00:48:35.180 deep mind made its protein database public a gift to humanity hasabas called it okay it's a gift to

00:48:43.500 humanity brother but you're missing the point brother pelly you're missing the point uh joanne you first

00:48:49.260 then we get uh you had the smart in all the history and knowledge and all this all the geniuses we got all

00:48:56.940 the money's going to been in research all the university labs we know very little about protein structure

00:49:01.980 very little very little about the core thing of life itself very little and you got phds these phds

00:49:08.540 the guys got veins running up their heads these are the smartest these guys have 300 iqs these are

00:49:13.660 brilliant people it takes one brain person with 3d mapping on a computer five or six years of their

00:49:20.460 life and they come in they don't do anything else for five or six years think about that embrace that

00:49:25.420 five or six years smart to get one there's 200 million ai does it in seconds in seconds

00:49:35.500 when you say a billion you don't have a button a billion we throw around bayon a bayon down

00:49:39.340 duff's a bayon down this hey bought the comfort bay a billion years of human effort of the smartest

00:49:46.140 minds this planet has ever created ever created and ai can do it in seconds and here's what it can

00:49:54.780 also then start their own combinations in seconds also joe allen so steve one of the things that's

00:50:04.940 come to the forefront of this conversation ai doom uh that's jeffrey hinton uh that's of course eliezer

00:50:11.420 yudkowski uh the gentleman from the machine intelligence research institute who calls for

00:50:16.540 airstrikes on rogue data centers uh that includes a number of other prominent people like paul christiano

00:50:23.660 who helped work on the human reinforcement learning interface for open ai some say he's responsible

00:50:30.220 for it entirely all these people are coming forward and saying what if uh what if ai kills everyone

00:50:37.020 right no no no no no it's called it's called it's called mitigate listen what separates out a successful

00:50:42.540 entrepreneur from a failure is how you mitigate risk you understand what the risks are and you take that

00:50:48.060 effort not to not do challenges and to be aggressive but you have to know where the risks are and what

00:50:54.220 are you doing to mitigate that risk as you pursue your thing yes this has incredible upside i'm not saying

00:51:00.620 it's not it has incredible upside it can transform the way we we we we live and interact but the downside

00:51:09.900 is not mitigated in the downside is a bottomless pit okay and it ain't me saying it it's the smartest

00:51:17.100 guys that dedicate their life to it and so i think we ought to listen up to the to as we're staring over

00:51:22.540 the pit right maybe we stop maybe we don't go over this at a thousand miles an hour maybe we go hey how

00:51:29.580 about this full stop on all of it in the nations of the world got to go full stop because we don't want

00:51:36.380 you what do you think the ccp ccp's doing live organ they're ripping hearts and lungs and livers 1.00

00:51:41.900 and kidneys out of people while they're on the operating table alive and selling them okay or 0.86

00:51:47.180 giving them to other party members you think they'd create the wuhan lab and all the bioweapons over 0.99

00:51:52.060 there do you think and then exacerbated when the thing leaked do you think in a new york second they

00:51:56.940 wouldn't do this for total global domination when you got the guy at salesforce and zuckerberg all

00:52:01.900 sudden have an interest in proteins and an interest in this area you don't think they would

00:52:07.180 well let me give you a news flash let's mitigate some risks let's say hey maybe and just in maybe we

00:52:12.860 got to go to full stop joe allen you know the biggest risk i think that most of the people at open

00:52:18.140 ai microsoft google meta the biggest risk they're worried about is not being first and not being ahead

00:52:24.860 of the pack they they pay all this lip service to the danger to the safety uh to human rights of

00:52:31.180 course now they're going to have the federal government who will be a sort of mouthpiece

00:52:35.100 saying oh we've got this all under control kamala harris has got this under control she's meeting

00:52:40.940 today with the ceos of google of anthropic of open ai of microsoft what i see coming is there will be

00:52:51.500 these limp-wristed sort of efforts to assault to to calm the public down say we've got this under control

00:52:58.780 as these companies continue to race forward to create what hang on people are calling

00:53:04.300 a doomsday device okay you you you hang on for a second we're going to continue this

00:53:11.100 i got brad uh we still got to get to the heart of the show but i feel better now maybe i can get

00:53:17.900 off my rant i can have a you know have a jamba juice or i can do you know i feel better because

00:53:22.540 kamala harris she of so many successes i'll start with the invasion of the southern border she's done 0.95

00:53:29.020 such a magnificent job as vice president she's in charge she's going to take the meetings and have 1.00

00:53:34.860 that bizarre cackle when they talk about the end of humanity short break 90 seconds back a lot of
