00:00:16.040 I mentioned that I would favor as for purposes of discussion to build consensus around if there indeed has to be a stopgap funding measure that we would do that until January 15th.
00:00:26.800 And the reason for that is it gets us beyond the end-of-the-year push.
00:00:31.080 And oftentimes the Senate tries to jam the House and force a nominibus spending bill.
00:00:35.700 We're not doing that here anymore.
00:00:37.240 We're having single-subject bills in our separate appropriations bills.
00:00:40.420 And so pushing that into January I think would assist us in that endeavor.
00:00:44.020 There may be some conditions put on that, perhaps, that 1% spending cut across the board instead of becoming effective in April.
00:00:50.580 Maybe we'd make that January 15th to incentivize the Senate to do their work.
00:00:54.120 But I don't want to get too deep in the weeds on the details of it because people sort of get lost in all of that.

00:01:23.620 And then I flew last night to Las Vegas and spoke to the Republican-Jewish coalition, as you noted, to send a further signal that this is a priority for our country.
00:01:32.440 And we cannot allow the brutality and the just unspeakable evil that is happening against Israel right now to continue.

00:01:40.520 Well, there is now ground fighting inside the Gaza Strip, and we've been watching it intensify all weekend.
00:01:47.740 This did not unfold the way some had expected with a blitz of divisions of Israeli troops and tanks going in, many reservists.
00:01:56.480 Instead, we've seen elite Israeli troops, combat engineers, bulldozers, tanks, armored personnel, dismounted troops walking into Gaza, going in from multiple directions.
00:02:08.360 Much of it focused in the area on the northern Gaza Strip, which you can see behind me.
00:02:13.280 There's been fighting ongoing this morning, and there do seem to be clashes.
00:02:17.660 We've seen Israeli troops firing.
00:02:20.140 We've also seen the Israeli troops coming under fire, apparently, from Hamas.
00:02:25.160 We are now talking about a phase of street-to-street fighting.
00:02:29.860 We have also just heard from witnesses that Israeli tanks, according to witnesses that have spoken to our crew, are on the main road, the Salah Adin road, which runs from the north to the south of the Gaza Strip.
00:02:42.920 That would make it impossible or at least very difficult for Palestinians to follow Israeli orders to go from the north, to go from the south.
00:02:52.520 Israel has repeated those orders with greater urgency this weekend, dropping leaflets, telling people to immediately leave Gaza City, leave all the areas in the north, to come out with their hands up, to carry white flags if possible, and to head south.
00:03:06.440 But now with these reports of Israeli troops cutting that road, it makes that mission far more complicated, far more dangerous, if not impossible.
00:03:16.400 We just heard the new House speaker.
00:03:18.280 You have some similarities with him in terms of separating out Israel aid from Ukraine aid.
00:03:23.880 He did say, though, we can't allow Putin to prevail in Ukraine because I don't believe it would stop there.

00:03:31.940 What part of that statement is objectionable to you?
00:03:35.340 Well, nothing is objectionable in the sense that if I could wave a magic wand and throw Putin out of Ukraine, I would.
00:03:40.560 But what we have to accept is there's a difference between what should happen and what can happen.
00:03:45.400 America has limited capacity.
00:03:47.500 Just in the Israeli conflict, for example, there are 300,000 artillery shells the Israelis would love to have access to.
00:03:54.360 They don't have access to them.

00:03:56.300 Because we sent them to Ukraine.
00:03:57.820 We have a rising threat of China in East Asia.
00:04:00.500 There are weapons the Taiwanese need that we can't send because we sent them to Ukraine.

00:04:08.300 Look at these pictures that if you were on that plane landing from Tel Aviv would have been extremely frightening.
00:04:13.160 Yeah, all the planes that were at the tarmac at that point in time when that happened.
00:04:18.800 And I think one of the things that we can certainly ascertain, Sarah, from what we've seen so far is that this was something that was a lot worse than just a protest.
00:04:25.920 Essentially, what this descended into was this mob of people, this crowd of people hunting Jews and hunting Israelis.
00:04:32.720 That's essentially what transcended at that airport in the town of Mahachkala, which is actually the capital, the Dagestan region in the North Caucasus of Russia.
00:04:42.420 There's some really troubling scenes, not just of that protest that took place inside the terminal building where that was charged, that crowd overwhelming the security forces, then getting onto the tarmac,
00:04:52.380 but also some of the people in that crowd singling out folks who apparently were on that flight from Tel Aviv, taking away their passports and essentially making them prove that they are not Jews.
00:05:03.680 There's also some reports on Russian media and Russian social media as well about another crowd of people or people from that same crowd also charging a hotel and going room to room.
00:05:16.060 Also, once again, searching for Israelis, searching for Jews.
00:05:20.520 So definitely a troubling development that happened there in Dagestan.
00:05:24.920 And you're absolutely right. It was after that flight from Tel Aviv landed.
00:05:28.760 Obviously, a very angry crowd was already there at that airport.
00:05:32.320 It was quite interesting because we did see this morning there was some condemnation from the religious leader of that region.
00:05:37.860 But we have also just heard from the Kremlin.
00:05:40.840 They are blaming outside influence, as they put it, for inciting that crowd.
00:05:46.120 What is your response? And have you spoken to the president about his request to tie the money together between Israel and Ukraine?

00:06:30.580 Yeah, well, as Hala mentioned here, that's the dominant force here.
00:06:36.140 Hezbollah and their leader just came out and said that he would be speaking on Friday.
00:06:40.880 Now, this is remarkable because this has been three weeks since we've heard anything from Hassan Nasrallah.
00:06:46.440 And this is a man who normally speaks on just about any topic.
00:06:49.400 He talks about gas extraction in the Mediterranean Sea.
00:06:52.940 He talks about his conflicts with Israel.
00:06:54.780 He talks about religion all to his adoring public.
00:06:57.480 And, you know, he has kind of a stature, not just in the Middle East, but really throughout the world as an almost kind of Che Guevara type figure.
00:07:04.460 But now he's been silent for the past three weeks, even as we've heard from kings and princes and presidents all throughout the region and far beyond.
00:07:13.380 He hasn't said a word and that's been conspicuous.
00:07:16.040 And now it looks like he's about to break that silence.
00:07:18.360 But this whole region is hanging on tenterhooks, wondering what he's going to say and whether or not he's going to try to push.

00:07:56.140 He's running for the Senate in Iowa and Ohio talking about the bifurcation is Ukraine, Israel funding package.
00:08:05.800 And Mike Johnson has come out over the weekend. It wasn't picked up during the day.
00:08:10.240 He has committed that the deficit or debt will not be added to one penny about by the Israel 14 billion dollars.
00:08:17.420 He is he's going to come back with specific cuts to make sure that that pays for itself.
00:08:22.640 But I want to talk about, you know, the Muslim brotherhood on one hand with Hamas.
00:08:27.100 And I've got Faddis here about the party of God, Hezbollah, the Shiite version of this.
00:08:33.380 These are the Persian proxies right now. The Muslim brotherhood's everywhere.
00:08:37.120 We talk about the securing of our southern border. We talk about, you know, everybody's focused on this thing in Russia where they stormed the planes.
00:08:45.520 They call it Jew hunting or hunting of Israelis.
00:08:48.380 This is what you saw over the week in the United States, essentially, with with the Brooklyn Bridge being taken over.
00:08:52.920 Cornell University threatening kids. They're going to school.
00:08:57.080 They're going to slit their throats. Cooper Union, all of it.
00:09:00.940 Talk to me about the danger we have within this own country of the Muslim brotherhood.
00:09:07.300 It's hard to overstate it, Steve, I think, because we don't really know the full extent of it.
00:09:13.600 What we do know is bad enough.
00:09:15.960 We have, for example, the secret plan of the Muslim brotherhood to destroy Western civilization, specifically sabotaging our what they call miserable house by our hands and the hands of the believers so that God's religion, Allah's, is made victorious over all other religions.
00:09:41.240 That's been their game, I think, from at least 19, I think it was 93 when that was first published.
00:09:50.820 What has happened in the intervening period is the brotherhood has not only built out this immense infrastructure across the country.
00:09:59.500 You probably have what they call an Islamic center near you.
00:10:04.640 They're in basically all of the major cities in the country.
00:10:08.140 Islamic centers is relevant because it's not just a mosque.
00:10:13.600 Usually there's a mosque somewhere in the mix.
00:10:15.260 But the historic purpose of mosques or these centers, if you will, going back to Muhammad's time, was to be basically community centers used, among other things, as arsenals and fortified places from which to project power.
00:10:34.220 I think that's true in some cases here, too.
00:10:36.520 And what's particularly worrying, and you've done a fabulous job of this, Steve, is as we have witnessed untold tens, if not hundreds of thousands of probable jihadis coming across our southern border, they're almost certainly marrying up with the infrastructure the brotherhood has put into place.
00:10:57.320 And then, just to put a fine point on it, the brotherhood has deeply penetrated the United States government.
00:11:04.180 I think it began in earnest with Bill Clinton.
00:11:06.600 There was a fellow by the name of Abdurrahman Alamudi, who became the head of Muslim liaison for the Clinton Gore team.
00:11:18.720 He went on to go serve hard time in federal prison for terrorism, by the way.
00:11:22.960 But Alamudi, after Clinton's era, at the beginning of what might have been the Gore era, decided he'd hedge his bets as an influence operator for the Muslim Brotherhood by seeing what he could do to open a new front with the Republicans.
00:11:41.540 And he used a guy that we both know, Grover Norquist, to put together a kind of Republican Muslim Brotherhood front organization.
00:11:51.360 It was called the Islamic Institute, and it was actually embedded in Grover's office at a time when I was sharing space on the same floor with him in his building.
00:12:04.640 And it's an amazing tale I happened to witness on 9-11, Grover Norquist and others convening after the White House complex was closed in the conference room we shared to map out a post-9-11 strategy.
00:12:18.320 And I think key to it was the idea that George W. Bush, who they'd been trying to get to, you know, romance these Muslim brothers, would then be essentially surrounded by them, literally, at the Washington Mosque shortly after 9-11.
00:12:34.440 And to begin espousing the party line that Islam is a religion of peace, and jihad is about personal struggle, and people hijacking these planes are trying to hijack a great Abrahamic faith, and on and on, all of which he did.
00:12:49.920 The point being, from that day to this, Steve, we have not had clarity about the nature of the Muslim Brotherhood, what it is doing in our country, and what it seeks to do.
00:13:02.320 And that's a perilous situation to be in.
00:13:06.700 The hard thing, I tell people, I had a lot of wins in the White House.
00:13:11.720 And even the ones that didn't have wins immediately became wins later, like Afghanistan, when President Trump deputized me to get us out in the spring and summer of 17.
00:13:20.280 And I tell people, the one thing Stephen K. Bannon was fully shut down on, couldn't move it an inch, as hard as I tried, was designating the Muslim Brotherhood as a terrorist organization.
00:13:33.580 A unified government came against me on, oh, they run hospitals, they're a political party, they have schools, what are you saying?
00:13:41.680 This is so, I mean, it was, it shows you their power inside the U.S. government.

00:19:35.600 And what it's about was numbers we got through a request, a lawsuit basically, that the government wasn't releasing on the number of inadmissible aliens, people who have no right to come in, that this administration has allowed to use a cell phone app to schedule their illegal immigration.
00:19:58.080 And what we found is that almost a quarter million people have scheduled their illegal immigration and come across the border and been ushered through a legal crossing point.
00:20:20.800 And what Senator Grassley wrote a letter about related to this data was that thousands of those people are from what they call special interest aliens.
00:20:32.780 In other words, they're coming from Muslim-majority countries that have active terrorist organizations.
00:20:38.400 And what's usually done is when somebody from one of those countries is encountered illegally crossing the border, there's a lot more enhanced scrutiny of that person.
00:20:50.660 Often they go and interview them personally to find out if this person's a problem or not.
00:20:55.100 But this administration is ushering thousands of them affirmatively across the border, swamping any ability of law enforcement to do anything but the most kind of cursory check.

00:21:14.320 Well, if not, you know, come on in, because it's not like Somali government, if there even is one, is going to have any information on who these people are.

00:22:36.420 It's just that they don't believe we, the American people, have a right to keep anybody out.
