Bannon's War Room - Episode 3249： Weakness Of Senate Republicans

00:00:00.000 to the defense budget that passed yesterday. Interesting for what's in it and for what is not

00:00:04.600 in it. The House passed the National Defense Authorization Act by an overwhelming majority

00:00:09.600 yesterday. The defense spending bill had strong bipartisan support in both chambers with House

00:00:15.320 Democrats joining Republicans after the bill was stripped of far right Republican demands that

00:00:21.220 originally had targeted issues like abortion access and diversity programs. They're not in

00:00:26.220 the bill. The NDAA authorized $886 billion in spending, an increase of about 3% from last

00:00:33.100 year. It includes a 5.2% pay raise for troops. That's the largest increase in years. And it

00:00:39.380 extends a measure to help Ukraine through the end of 2026, authorizing $300 million for the next two

00:00:46.400 fiscal years. Though, of course, that's a fraction of the $61 billion in assistant President Biden

00:00:51.680 has asked Congress to approve. Also in the NDAA, a provision barring future presidents from

00:00:58.280 unilaterally withdrawing from NATO without approval from the Senate or an act of Congress. The

00:01:03.760 legislation was spearheaded by Virginia Senator Tim Kaine and Republican Senator Marco Rubio of

00:01:09.560 Florida. Concerns have grown in recent years surrounding whether the United States might

00:01:14.220 withdraw from NATO during another Trump presidency. With this legislation, no president will be able

00:01:20.220 to solely decide to leave that alliance. So Joe, fascinating budget here because of what's not

00:01:26.840 in it. All the noise about abortion access, the Tommy Tuberville of it all. And then this provision,

00:01:32.800 a bipartisan provision co-sponsored by Marco Rubio, effectively to stop Donald Trump potentially

00:01:38.580 from pulling out of NATO. Eddie, of course, you are connected with Princeton,

00:01:47.440 professor at Princeton. And so you have more information than I do. So when I say this,

00:01:53.340 I say it out of a bit of ignorance. But Princeton doesn't seem to have been a hotbed of the sort of

00:02:01.800 infighting. I look at colleges like Dartmouth, where you had the head of Middle Eastern studies and the

00:02:08.160 head of Jewish studies get together. They had an open dialogue. And it's been really constructive and

00:02:15.460 productive up at Dartmouth. And kudos to them for having, again, having a tough talk. There are so

00:02:22.560 many complicated issues involved in this debate. I'm wondering your thoughts on the best way for

00:02:29.840 colleges to proceed the next time a crisis like this comes up. And also, what has worked at Princeton?

00:02:38.300 What hasn't worked? Well, I think, first of all, Joe, I think most institutions around the country are

00:02:44.600 having difficult conversations. Students are arguing, protesting some civilly, some uncivilly. Some of

00:02:51.280 them are trading in noxious views and others are just simply putting forward a position in defense of

00:02:56.820 the rights of Palestinians. And I think that's happening for the most part across the 4,000 plus

00:03:02.480 four-year university and degree-granting colleges across campus. And so when you invoke Dartmouth or

00:03:08.360 you invoke Princeton, we're talking about different cultures, right? I mean, Brown is a different kind

00:03:13.340 of political, has a different kind of historical culture. It has a protest culture, just like

00:03:17.600 Berkeley has. And so for my former colleague, Christine Paxson, to do what she's done, she has

00:03:22.680 in some ways kind of cut against the grain of the kind of ethos of Brown in an interesting sort 0.98

00:03:28.640 of way. But I want to say this very clearly. There are some folk who are out here claiming

00:03:33.620 that the universities and colleges are these hotbeds of anti-Semitism and liberalism. I just

00:03:40.980 beg to disagree, Joe. I've been working in this space for 30 plus years. I'm one of those professors

00:03:47.360 who are often read as radical and all that because I teach in African-American studies. And there's

00:03:53.720 anti-Semitism is not at the heart of what we're doing. We're trying to create a way of seeing the world

00:03:58.420 that opens it up to the vast diversity of this world. And so it seems to me that the anti-Semitism

00:04:05.600 that has defined the country over these last few years has been exaggerated, not exaggerated,

00:04:12.200 ignited, grown, expanded as a result of the Israel-Hamas war. And we have to kind of understand

00:04:19.700 that we're in a moment where the country has forgotten how to disagree and students are arguing

00:04:24.440 in that context. I don't know if that made sense, but there's a lot bubbling up in me after I heard

00:04:29.000 Greenblatt give his comments.

00:04:31.620 This is the primal scream of a dying regime.

00:04:38.800 Greenblatt give his comments.

00:04:40.980 Pray for our enemies, because we're going to medieval on these people.

00:04:45.980 I got a free shot at all these networks lying about the people. The people had a belly full

00:04:50.980 of it. I know you don't like hearing that. I know you try to do everything in the world

00:04:54.320 to stop that, but you're not going to stop it. It's going to happen.

00:04:56.980 And where do people like that go to share the big line? Maga Media. I wish in my soul,

00:05:03.440 I wish that any of these people had a conscience. Ask yourself, what is my task and what is my

00:05:09.960 purpose? If that answer is to save my country, this country will be saved.

00:05:17.340 War Room. Here's your host, Stephen K. Bannon.

00:05:20.600 It's Friday, 15 December, year of our Lord, 2023. Thank you for joining us this morning.

00:05:30.160 Obviously, a lot to get to. They made their escape last night, but not before leaving enough

00:05:35.440 damage around here for us to try to pick up the pieces. I want to start with the NDAA,

00:05:40.740 because they slipped in. I shouldn't say slipped in. We knew about it, but it passed overwhelmingly

00:05:49.100 in the Senate. And this is how they do it. It just wasn't FISA. It was also this provision

00:05:55.520 right up in Donald Trump's face about NATO. Remember, the Constitution is very specific

00:06:01.480 about how you pass a treaty with an ally. And people say Ukraine's an ally. Ukraine's not an

00:06:06.720 ally. They're not an ally. We do have no alliance with Ukraine. And of course, yesterday, you saw the

00:06:12.820 brutal reality. They go, yeah, we're going to open up and have discussion about bringing in the EU.

00:06:16.840 Not one nation is putting up any money. Nobody wants to put up any money. All the papers in

00:06:22.600 Europe. We're getting more of that this evening with Harnwell from Rome. No money. They saw the

00:06:28.880 United States. I'm putting money. No money. No cash. In fact, Victor Orban, who walked out of the

00:06:34.180 room and let the EU conversation continue, block the $50 billion the EU collectively is going to put

00:06:41.260 it. But no nation stood up. They've had it. And they understand it's politically toxic. Why?

00:06:48.060 It's what's the purpose? What's the objective? Nobody's ever walked somebody through the strategy

00:06:52.300 here. And now to understand that Zelensky really wanted to take back the Crimea and the complete

00:06:57.620 eastern province looks ridiculous now. Of course, there's all types of finger pointing about how

00:07:03.100 many casualties, how many dead, all types of reports out that that's 75 to 100,000 we mention all the

00:07:09.500 time is vastly a lowball count. Pentagon's put out the 325,000 Russian soldiers have either died or

00:07:19.520 been wounded, either killed in action or casualties. And now there's all types of finger pointing about

00:07:24.420 how many actual Ukrainians. In all that, they're trying to take away president. Remember, President 0.86

00:07:29.940 Trump wasn't trying to get out of NATO. President Trump was trying to make NATO an alliance. NATO is

00:07:34.320 a protectorate. And when we talk about all these different, the international rules-based order and

00:07:39.260 the American overstretch for the American empire, the trillion dollar defense budget, you have to

00:07:45.500 keep in perspective opportunity cost. All those nations in Europe that you're paying for, because

00:07:51.580 they're a protectorate, just like the Gulf Emirates are protectors. They're not allies. 0.89

00:07:57.660 The UAE throws a little and punches above their weight. Israel does what they do and punch above 0.98

00:08:02.500 their weight. But these are protectors. Saudi Arabia doesn't do enough, but doesn't punch above

00:08:07.560 their weight at all. These are protectorates. What does that mean? That means not just your sons and

00:08:13.840 daughters, your money, your cash, your taxpayer money. This is why we have run in such massive

00:08:17.940 deficits. One of the reasons. Do you have a pension? Do you take six weeks off in the, do you take

00:08:24.980 August off in the summer? Do you have full health care like Israel has, free college? Do you have 0.99

00:08:31.200 what Europe has? Have you been to Europe? And except for the fact they've let, you know, Sharia 1.00

00:08:38.760 supremacist invaders in nonstop for decades, but particularly since 2012 and 2014. And now

00:08:47.720 they've got massive problems. They've been doing it for 40 or 50 years, but now they've got

00:08:50.940 massive problems and probably leading to civil wars in certain countries. And the Netherlands

00:08:55.840 is trying to get a proposal to get out of the EU onto the ballot as a referendum. They have,

00:09:02.300 they have healthcare, they have pensions, they have a short work week, and they take tons of time off

00:09:12.920 in the summer and over the holidays. Do you have any of that? Ask yourself, do you have any of that?

00:09:17.140 The answer would be no, you do not. You don't. You know why? One of the reasons? That your betters

00:09:24.200 here on Capitol Hill, the great thinkers, Marco Rubio is a big thinker, right? That's, that's a big

00:09:30.820 thinker. What community college she go to down in Florida? Marco Rubio, a big thinker, a big

00:09:37.140 geostrategist. And this is the defense industry gets these rubes and tells them how brilliant they

00:09:41.800 are, how brilliant they are to do something like that. That's up on Trump's face. Well, we will test

00:09:45.160 that at the Supreme Court because the constitution is quite specific about the two thirds you need in

00:09:52.500 the Senate because they want the country to come together and agree. They don't want a lot of

00:09:55.780 alliances. They want it to be a relatively rare occurrence, but there's nothing in there about

00:10:00.780 getting out of an alliance. And I don't believe, and we'll have to test that over time. President

00:10:06.220 Trump's not trying to leave NATO, and I'm not saying he's trying to leave. He's trying to get

00:10:09.280 NATO, first of all, to live up their obligations, 2% of their GDP for defense and not for women's

00:10:15.700 health care and not for transgender surgeries and not for global warming, all the stuff that's in our 0.85

00:10:21.980 defense bill. You can't do that. It's for weapons. It's for training. It's for troops. It's for

00:10:27.740 interoperability. Lead story in the New York Times today on the site. Guess what it is? Oh,

00:10:35.120 uh, you know, like in Ireland where they have 125,000 Ukrainians, half of them military age men

00:10:40.940 that, Hey, not so excited about fighting for their country, hiding out in Ireland,

00:10:45.180 becoming a bother to the young girls over there. It's about, Oh, they get, you know, they,

00:10:51.240 I have a medical condition, right? I got a medical condition. I got a hangnail. I got this,

00:10:55.680 I got that. None of these, that that's why the average age, they're conscripting people over 40 0.94

00:10:59.780 right now because they don't want to fight. It's not that these people are not patriotic. I think

00:11:05.160 they see the, the, the, the, the, um, how lives have been thrown away in the charnel house

00:11:10.320 because now they're all important. And Putin's out there. Yes. They spike in the football. He's

00:11:14.320 laughing. Hey, I'm taking on the West. These guys are so feckless, so hapless, led the Ukrainian 1.00

00:11:21.360 people down the primrose path. Let the country looks like Dresden and 45, you know, they're 0.95

00:11:27.180 saying it could be 300,000 casualties on the Ukrainian side. Think that, I don't know if

00:11:31.720 that's correct, but let's say this directionally, as we say in investment banking directionally,

00:11:36.760 it feels smarter than the number of the Pentagon has been putting out. Cause that just, you look at

00:11:42.640 the footage, you look at the towns, you look at the devastation. Plus I think what 25% of the

00:11:48.780 population, the moose gone, taken off, ain't coming back either. They got into Poland and 0.95

00:11:55.980 other places, not coming back. I've got a lot to say about this. And think about it. These

00:12:00.580 Republicans and Steve Daines, big article in Axios, how Steve Daines is working Trump, uh, you know, 1.00

00:12:05.900 to get, get all these McConnell dude, you're McConnell's bitch. Okay. All you're doing is for 1.00

00:12:11.320 President Trump's not dumb. You're just pushing McConnell guys in front of me. That's not going to 0.95

00:12:15.880 work. Particularly Daines is one of the guys, one of the architects of this, uh, take the,

00:12:21.040 take the, take the tiller out of, uh, out of president Trump's hands on NATO. So now Trump

00:12:27.220 doesn't have the club or they think he doesn't have a club. He'll still have the club to browbeat

00:12:31.840 him. I had to deal with these guys. None of these clowns, Ruby and these guys ever had to deal with

00:12:35.300 them. They don't want to pay it. One guy, the German guy said, well, Steve, we can't do that. 0.98

00:12:38.680 Cause we constitution, we have a balanced budget and we can't do that. We'd have to spend more.

00:12:43.040 And I said, are you kidding me? We're, we're, we're running massive deficits because of defense

00:12:48.300 and you're telling me about your constitution as a balanced budget. I said, dude, we wrote that

00:12:54.040 constitution for you after we bombed you back into the stone age to destroy the Nazis. So don't, 0.89

00:12:59.720 don't put your constitution in my face. That was written by us. Okay. You got to step up to the plate.

00:13:07.340 Remember all the elites in Europe, folks over there are good folks, but all the elites,

00:13:11.460 they're all con artists from Davos to Brussels. It's all their inside game.

00:13:17.000 They could care less about the people in their countries, but more importantly, they could care

00:13:21.480 less about you. You went over in world war one, bailed them out, huge casualties in the Argonne

00:13:27.320 forest. By the way, the longest continuous battle in American history, a hundred days.

00:13:31.880 That was the death blow to the Germans. MacArthur and those guys, blackjack Pershing, but MacArthur,

00:13:37.480 I think MacArthur won what two or three medals of honor, awarded two or three medals of honor

00:13:41.840 in the drive in world war one, world war two. We know about that. Bailed them out again. And we

00:13:48.160 talk about NATO and our allies. How many were on our side of the football and world war two,

00:13:52.640 the Russian people were on our side of the football. They took what? I don't know, 40, 50,

00:13:57.060 60 million casualties. The Chinese people, Lao Baixing in mainland China, they were on our side.

00:14:03.300 They fought. Those are our allies. Those are the ones that bore the brunt. You think Guadalcanal

00:14:09.020 in Taiwan or in Peleliu, Terawa, as bad as they were, how horrific they would have been

00:14:16.360 with, uh, with, uh, more Japanese troops and higher caliber Japanese troops that were on the

00:14:21.860 mainland getting chopped up. So all this nonsense. And now they try to handcuff Trump. They try to

00:14:27.920 handcuff him. That's just up in his grill. It's an insult to an individual, a gentleman who gave us

00:14:34.920 peace and prosperity. How did you have peace? He was browbeaten NATO. So you got to pay up and you

00:14:41.200 have to do an equipment, um, arms, uh, training, recruiting and interoperability. We have to work

00:14:49.340 together as an alliance, no longer a protector. The Europeans getting a free lunch and you see

00:14:54.440 McConnell's guys. They're protecting the Europeans, not the American people.

00:14:58.780 Sure. Commercial break. I know this is hard to believe, but we're up against another government

00:15:03.320 shutdown later this month and our wise leaders deal with it. How they always do with more spending

00:15:10.140 while lawmakers are high-fiving your savings account continues to lose value because more spending

00:15:17.040 weakens the dollar. Now end the cycle diversifying the gold with the help of Birch Gold Group. And

00:16:27.180 Man, when they leave town, they leave town. Jake Sherman, brother Jake Sherman over at Punchbowl,

00:16:32.280 do a great job. He's tweeting, he must have left last night. He saw Bob Weir in Port Chester last night,

00:16:37.900 another deadhead going down memory lane. That means he's out of town. That means he's up in New York,

00:16:43.220 right? Unbelievable. Mike Davis, I've got Brad here. Brad, you and I are going to get back into

00:16:48.400 capital markets. A ton of stuff happened on Capitol Hill. I've got to pick your brain on a pun. But Mike,

00:16:55.040 make it make sense to me because all the media is saying it's all about this expedited filings.

00:17:00.420 Because I'm not a lawyer. And as you know, I don't try, I don't, you and Boris know, I don't try to

00:17:06.060 play one. I've used lawyers from years, from years at Goldman Sachs, my own firm. I always hire the

00:17:13.420 best. I try to hire the best and always look at their counsel. But you got to play 20 questions to

00:17:18.060 understand it because you got to make the decisions, not the lawyers at the end of the day.

00:17:21.860 But correct me if I'm wrong, brother Davis, I'm actually seeing win after win after win. Let's start

00:17:28.480 with Stefanik's ethics complaint today, which is pretty big because it's on a federal judge.

00:17:34.460 I want to start there and then go through, walk me through everything on Trump's,

00:17:38.480 the trials of Trump on the criminal side. Then I want to pivot to the 14th Amendment. So just take

00:17:43.360 away. Let's start with Stefanik and work your way through it. Yeah. So Congresswoman Elise Stefanik, 1.00

00:17:48.780 the all-star Republican in New York, and she's part of House Republican leadership,

00:17:53.840 filed an ethics complaint against D.C. Obama judge Beryl Howell. Beryl Howell was the former chief

00:18:03.880 judge for seven years, from 2016 to 2013. She was the chief judge of the D.C. District Court,

00:18:14.820 a critical court. She supervised the grand jury, and she was the one who supervised the bogus Mueller probe,

00:18:23.620 with Weissman, going after Trump for Russian collusion, just a total farce. She's also the

00:18:31.540 one, Judge Beryl Howell's also the judge who supervised Jack Smith's bogus grand jury investigations

00:18:38.920 against President Trump, leading to the unprecedented indictments of a former president, the first time

00:18:45.800 ever. One was for the Mar-a-Lago, after the Mar-a-Lago raid for presidential records that President

00:18:52.980 Trump is allowed to have in the office of former president under the Presidential Records Act.

00:18:58.760 The other indictment is for January 6th for the non-crime of objecting to a presidential

00:19:03.940 election, which is allowed by the Electoral Count Act of 1887. Twisting arms politically is allowed

00:19:10.120 by the First Amendment. We've talked about that a lot. Stefanik's complaint

00:19:13.780 argues that Judge Beryl Howell gave a partisan speech several weeks ago to a women's group, and the

00:19:23.500 women's group included the current number two in the Justice Department, Lisa Monaco, who is in charge

00:19:30.260 of federal prosecutors across the country.

00:19:34.160 I mean, government gangster.

00:19:37.620 Yeah, and Lisa Monaco is in charge of all prosecutors, including the January 6th prosecutions.

00:19:43.120 Former Obama Attorney General Loretta Lynch emceed this thing, and former Obama White House

00:19:50.500 counsel Kathy Rumler was part of this. And both Lisa Monaco and Judge Beryl Howell received an award,

00:19:58.460 the Champion's Award, or whatever the hell they called it at this gala. And then Judge Beryl Howell,

00:20:03.260 as part of this Democrat powwow, where they were praising each other and talking about what great

00:20:09.380 friends they are and hugging each other for pictures, then Judge Beryl Howell gets up there 1.00

00:20:15.700 and essentially, she doesn't mention Trump by name, but the implication was very clear to everyone,

00:20:22.260 that Judge Beryl Howell was essentially arguing that the re-election of President Trump would lead

00:20:27.940 to authoritarianism in America. That is blatantly illegal for a judge to do that. It violates

00:20:35.160 Canon 2B of the judicial canons. It's election interference. It's an inappropriate speech.

00:20:41.060 And it is, it's so damaging to the judiciary if people think that judges are going to promote

00:20:47.180 Democrat talking points in the Democrat political narrative to interfere in the next election.

00:20:53.000 How rare is it for a member of Congress, no matter how senior, to file an ethics complaint

00:21:00.120 against a federal judge, a federal judge at that level?

00:21:04.420 Well, it's just very rare for federal judges to be on the receiving end of these ethics complaints.

00:21:08.520 So I want to commend Congresswoman Elise Stefanik. She's actually showing that she has the brains 1.00

00:21:13.760 in the backbone to take on the left's lawfare. And she did this before with that Manhattan Judge 1.00

00:21:20.380 Arthur Ingeron. Elise Stefanik filed a judicial complaint against him in New York back in November

00:21:28.040 because he's a partisan goofball who's railroading Trump. There's Judge Beryl Howell is a partisan 0.85

00:21:33.820 cheerleader. And she proved that at this awards dinner a couple of weeks ago when she's hugging and doing

00:21:40.960 a kumbaya with Biden's number two Justice Department official and Obama's former Attorney General and

00:21:48.300 Obama's former White House counsel. And the key here, it's while cases are pending, there are criminal

00:21:54.480 cases pending before President Trump. There are criminal cases pending before Trump supporters,

00:22:01.260 including these January 6th supporters. How the hell do they think that they're going to get a fair

00:22:05.720 trial before Judge Beryl Howell when she's giving extrajudicial speeches, condemning President

00:22:15.320 Trump, essentially, and saying that his reelection will lead to authoritarianism in this country,

00:22:21.120 fascism in this country. And it's because Trump has his supporters brainwashed, is essentially

00:22:26.020 what she was arguing in this speech. She even plugged a book, this new book that came out by this

00:22:33.560 Democrat operative. Judge Beryl Howell plugged the book and referenced the book. And the book is an

00:22:38.380 anti-Trump screed, talking about how Trump's essentially the biggest danger to America.

00:22:46.380 Wow. Now, how does that lead into, because with the team you guys have put together,

00:22:53.520 and I forget the guy's name, it's John Searle, it's Sear, there's one of the new lawyers there.

00:22:59.160 I think he's, yeah, John Sowers. Yeah, he's an Alito guy. Yeah. Talk to me about,

00:23:05.460 because it looks like, it looks like there's wins after wins and, and Weissman is now kind of down

00:23:10.320 into a thing, you know, he's shrunken into his, uh, his turtleneck, like the turtle head he has.

00:23:15.220 And he's talking about the expedited filing on the 23rd, but they're not talking about anything else

00:23:20.280 just for the audience. Hasn't the game changed in the last week or so, 10 days of these Trump trials?

00:23:27.200 Absolutely. That you're seeing the Democrats are getting desperate. Their house of cards,

00:23:33.220 their political house of cards, their charade is falling apart. It's been exposed. It's fallen

00:23:38.160 apart. Remember, they impeached Trump twice for nonsense. They indicted him four times for non-crimes.

00:23:46.060 They're trying to bankrupt his business in New York for non-fraud. They're not even letting,

00:23:50.600 this Arthur Ingeron is not even letting Trump put on a trial. He just decreed before trial

00:23:56.440 that Trump somehow committed fraud when Trump paid back sophisticated Wall Street banks in full

00:24:02.940 as agreed on time with interest. But somehow that's fraud in New York. And, uh, this judge

00:24:09.160 wouldn't even allow a trial, no witnesses, no other evidence. He just said, yep, fraud. We're just

00:24:13.420 going to have a trial to figure out how much I'm going to whack Trump with, with, with, uh, with a

00:24:18.720 penalty, seven or $250 million maybe. And that's a big chunk of money to try to take out President

00:24:25.420 Trump financially. And this is all backfiring. There's these impeachments, these indictments,

00:24:30.100 this, this bankruptcy, uh, this case to bankrupt Trump and to destroy his business. They even threw

00:24:37.020 the legal Hail Mary of a, uh, you know, dusting off the post-Civil War 14th Amendment to get rid of

00:24:45.340 Confederate sympathizers who engaged in insurrection or rebellion. They're trying to use that, uh,

00:24:50.900 constitutional provision to take out Trump. They think January 6th was somehow an insurrection.

00:24:56.100 How many insurrectionists go unarmed into a nation's Capitol, get to the Senate floor, 0.99

00:25:01.640 walk through velvet ropes, follow police direction, and don't burn down the damn place. 0.98

00:25:06.220 January 6th was a lawful protest permitted by the national park service that devolved into a 0.99

00:25:12.020 riot. And if it were an insurrection, why hasn't Jack Smith charged president Trump or anyone else

00:25:17.740 with insurrection because it didn't happen. Right. So there's that in the four, in the four,

00:25:23.840 in the four March, the four March thing's going to be pushed way down. So she stayed any, uh,

00:25:29.380 any type of activity. The Supreme Court's going to look at two of the charges, uh, coming up from a J6 1.00

00:25:35.120 defendant. They won't rule on that until June, will they? Well, I mean, they, yeah, they, here's

00:25:40.020 the deal. If, if the, if these courts know the Supreme Court's going to have to rule on a key issue,

00:25:45.440 key legal issue in Trump's case related to other defendants in other cases, you're going to go,

00:25:51.200 Jack Smith and Tanya Shuckin think they're going to move forward with a trial and a conviction of a

00:25:58.820 former president for the first time in American history, who happens to be the leading presidential

00:26:03.340 candidate, knowing that their decision will almost certainly get reversed by the Supreme Court.

00:26:08.140 And you think that sounds crazy. Well, that's Jack Smith's MO. He's the Jack Smith is a political

00:26:13.960 scud missile who Democrats send in to take out Republican presidential or vice presidential

00:26:19.160 candidates. That's what he did back in 2016 with former Virginia governor, Bob McDonald. Jack Smith

00:26:25.480 brought a bogus fraud case, uh, corruption case against, uh, governor McDonald took him out as a

00:26:33.080 likely presidential or vice presidential candidate in 2016. Jack Smith was unanimously reversed by the

00:26:39.700 Supreme Court. It was eight to nothing. It would have been nine to nothing, but justice Scalia died.

00:26:43.800 It is really hard to have a criminal conviction overturned by the Supreme Court. It's nearly

00:26:47.980 impossible for that to happen unanimously, but Jack Smith found the way. That's why he got banished

00:26:53.800 to the Hague. He should have lost his law license. He's a total partisan clown,

00:26:58.040 but Merrick Garland and Joe Biden brought him back to take out Trump because apparently there's a Trump 0.97

00:27:04.520 derangement syndrome exception to the constitution, to federal statutes, and just common sense.

00:27:13.500 Uh, give me, and I want to hold you through the break. I know you got to bounce, but I just want

00:27:17.380 to hold you for a few minutes. Give me the 14th amendment state of the state. It looks like that's

00:27:21.260 all collapsing. Am I safe to say it looks like it's collapsing in a number of States?

00:27:25.680 It is very much collapsing in many States. I will say that this Colorado case still could come back

00:27:31.480 to bite us because this bias Denver district court judge, Sarah Wallace, we called her out on her, 1.00

00:27:37.680 on her bias. When we pointed out, she made a political contribution to an anti-Trump January 6th

00:27:44.940 pact to chase Republicans out of office. After the Democrat governor picked her last year, 0.97

00:27:51.000 but before she started in January, she should not have sat on this trial. And she sat on the trial.

00:27:56.780 She said that there was an insurrection, but it does. The 14th amendment doesn't apply to the

00:28:00.640 president. The Colorado Supreme court stacked seven to nothing could rule, could reverse that.

00:28:07.060 Okay. Hang on one second, Mike. I want to ask you about the impeachment.

00:28:10.380 We've got a lot of economics to go through. Laura Logan's going to join us. It's going to be

00:28:14.300 a little intense here in the war room. Short break back in a moment.

00:30:05.920 Okay. Um, first off, get yourself a pot of warpath coffee. You're going to need it. We're going to get

00:30:18.520 zero hedge finally caught up with the worm. We love the guys over zero hedge. As long as you sometimes

00:30:24.360 make sure where their links are taking you, right? You got to be very careful about the links over

00:30:30.200 there, but generally a excellent site. They've got a detailed, uh, piece. Brad and I are going to get

00:30:36.520 into in a moment about now it all makes sense. The, the financial and the, uh, deep state administrative

00:30:42.680 state of the financial central bank and the treasury and the Lords of easy money on wall street are

00:30:47.660 coming for Trump, a big league. They basically catch up with our thesis and they put some more charts

00:30:52.700 on them. We'll talk about that in a second. And, uh, for all of you, look, we have to have some

00:30:57.680 strategery here, folks at the rampart. Uh, I'm going to put up, I haven't gotten it yet. Bloomberg,

00:31:04.580 Mike Johnson, maybe the next house speaker to lose his job. Huge article. I'm going to put it up in a

00:31:11.000 minute. I'm going to talk about that. Uh, Mike Johnson's on, on, on notice on watch, right? Don't

00:31:15.960 think we're going easy. We're going hard. Now we got to give this guy a little headroom, but you know,

00:31:22.780 they're coming back and it was his decision to stick out to the ninth. It was his decision to get this

00:31:27.180 NDA through. And I'm telling you, there's just not enough time when they get back. So this is

00:31:33.580 going to be a clash of the type. This is going to be predator versus alien when he returns, but

00:31:38.700 the government, Hey, shut it down. Let it go. You don't have that. You don't have a plan. You've

00:31:42.900 only got your four, your four appropriations bill short in the house, including the controversial,

00:31:48.980 uh, justice department, FBI one. So we're ready to throw down. He's got to understand he's got to

00:31:55.580 throw down. No more Christian talk. Give me Christian action. One thing they have done in 1.00

00:32:01.160 very smartly the way they've done, I think not as urgent as we want, but quite smartly how they've

00:32:06.440 teed it up. Uh, Mike Davis, the impeachment. Uh, this is the real deal. People have to understand

00:32:12.500 this is why Mark Elias in the smart guys on the side are losing it. Mark Elias is losing it. He's

00:32:17.980 already threatened. He says we're proud MAGA versus scared MAGA that scared MAGA, you know,

00:32:23.940 these guys in New York and other places are going to lose their seats in the house. We're

00:32:26.700 going to lose the house because of this. Oh, contrary. So if you look at the numbers where

00:32:30.900 people don't know a lot of the facts, it's 48, 49 right now, when we finished with this

00:32:35.860 and people have their nose rubbed in what Biden has done. And on just the, uh, just the news,

00:32:42.460 John Solomon sites got what I've been saying. They tie it back directly to 2015 when he was VP

00:32:48.820 on those early trips to China, early trips to China, and then payoffs right afterwards.

00:32:55.500 The CCP, Ukraine's going to be big and how he's money laundering there. You notice that

00:33:00.220 kowtowing Janet Yellen today is criticizing Trump saying Trump's policies hurt us vis-a-vis

00:33:06.320 China. No, ma'am, you would be dead wrong. You're kowtowing the policies made America stronger

00:33:12.040 and made the Chinese Communist Party weaker. Everybody knows that that's an open secret.

00:33:16.920 They admit that. See, they're doing payoffs now to the CCP and they're doing paid up payoffs

00:33:22.000 to Zelensky for their silence because they know where the bodies are buried. So we're

00:33:29.080 going to get to all of Mike Davis, your thoughts, your first cut of your thoughts of, of how

00:33:33.440 you view the impeachment process, how it's rolling right now.

00:33:37.740 Well, I'm impressed that the house Republicans were all able to stick together because this

00:33:43.340 is their highest constitutional duty is to ensure whether, to, to ensure the president

00:33:50.260 of the United States, the sitting president of the United States is not compromised by foreign

00:33:55.780 bribery and corruption. And there's very clear evidence that Joe Biden is compromised by foreign

00:34:01.240 bribery and other corruption. Tens of millions of dollars to every Biden family member, it seems,

00:34:08.380 except for the six year old granddaughter who they finally acknowledged under political

00:34:12.180 pressure. This is not an inquiry about Hunter Biden being a crackhead. It's, this is not about

00:34:20.220 hookers and blow. This is about whether a president of the United States is compromised. And this has

00:34:26.200 devastating effects for our country. When Joe Biden is taking tens of millions of dollars,

00:34:31.640 $10 million from Burisma and $10 million from, you know, China, Russia, Kazakhstan, it seems like every

00:34:38.420 trouble spot around the world. And here's the problem. Remember this in, in Ukraine, Obama put

00:34:44.960 Vice President Biden in, in Ukraine, in charge of Ukraine. The Bidens went on the take, including

00:34:50.880 with Burisma. Putin knows they went on the tape. Putin has the tapes almost certainly of the Burisma

00:34:56.800 executive being shut down by Vice President Biden and Hunter Biden. So guess what? Putin knows that

00:35:04.520 the, that Biden is corrupt and compromised. He invades Crimea. During four years of Trump, we had 0.94

00:35:11.680 peace and prosperity in Ukraine. Putin knew not to mess with Trump because Trump would not allow it to

00:35:18.040 happen. And they didn't have blackmail on Trump. Like they pretended, they pretended like they had the

00:35:22.500 petini tapes on Trump. Biden's back. Now, now Putin's trying to take the rest of Ukraine. We've

00:35:28.840 spent $75 billion in counting as America trying to save three Russian speaking provinces in Eastern

00:35:35.940 Ukraine that no one can name on a map. And that's because Putin knows that, that Biden is corrupt and 0.94

00:35:41.420 compromised. No. And by the way, this, this is, these are, we're going to pull the camera back. The 0.99

00:35:48.060 framing of this is going to be quite simple. He's buying silence. He was bought and paid for by the

00:35:53.740 CCP and bought and paid for by the Ukrainians. And he's this, all this fanatical, you got to get 0.95

00:36:00.660 money to Ukraine. You got to kowtow to the CCP and give them Taiwan and, and have the 400 traders go

00:36:05.880 bail them out with American pension fund money. It's all the buy their silence and we're not going to

00:36:10.900 tolerate it. That's why I was brought in on the laptop from health first. I saw in July of 2020 in the

00:36:15.800 first 10 minutes, the, uh, the, uh, remember bribery and treason. It's not just high crimes and

00:36:22.400 misdemeanors. That's what these guys keep talking about. It's bribery, treason, high crimes and

00:36:26.040 misdemeanors. And we got bribery and treason up to their eyeballs. And remember folks, Chris Ray

00:36:32.440 and Bill Barr, who are going to get their turn in the barrel, knew all about it in November and

00:36:37.040 December of 2019. Mike Davis, you're on fire, brother. This Stefanik thing, I'm telling you,

00:36:42.060 Elise Stefanik, another hat tip. This girl's on a roll. Wow. 1.00

00:36:45.800 Uh, this, this, um, this, uh, going after this federal judge as she should is big time. 1.00

00:36:51.860 And it shows that Trump and the Trump forces are now on offense everywhere, every place

00:36:56.980 of all time. Mike, where do people go and get you article three project.org article number

00:37:02.580 three project.org. You can donate there at article three project at article number three project

00:37:07.460 on get her Twitter truth. My personal at M R D D M I A M R D D M I A. And thank you,

00:37:14.340 Steve. Okay, brother. Um, Stefanik with a ethics complaint against a federal judge big time.

00:37:23.900 This is going to stir the pot. Um, and what we'd like is offense going offense. Okay. Dave

00:37:29.080 Brett, um, Dave, the zero hedge, you got other stuff to say about Tim Alberta when I get to

00:37:34.840 that moment, but, uh, zero hedge, this story, we talked about it yesterday. It's obvious the

00:37:40.740 Fed and the treasury department are all in on, on flooding the zone with cash, destroying the U S

00:37:46.260 dollar. They don't care to save Biden. Your thoughts, sir. Yeah. Well, just in case people

00:37:53.020 don't know back under LBJ, uh, he got real ticked off at, uh, McChesney Martin, the head of the federal

00:37:59.060 reserve, uh, back then. And he said, Hey, you need to print me money so I can go to war. And, uh,

00:38:05.100 scared the daylights out of big six foot four, uh, LBJ shoved them up against the wall, according

00:38:10.640 to the records. And the next time, uh, he, uh, lowered the interest rates and helped LBJ in the

00:38:16.220 next election. So what we're saying here is nothing new. And so that, that piece showed very

00:38:22.280 clearly there's hot economic news across the unemployment rate, uh, even production. Uh,

00:38:28.580 the, we said yesterday, the nominal GDP is up 8.5%. Uh, there's no way, uh, you said, but hang on,

00:38:36.520 but hang on. Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa. Don't get ahead. Don't get ahead of us. That's all because

00:38:41.440 of this massive Keynesian right now. We're, this is insane. We're having a massive Keynesian stimulus

00:38:48.080 right now. This is trailing 12 months, two and a half trillion, $200 billion a month deficit.

00:38:53.580 That's going directly into the economy, like just a shot, right? Of adrenaline. When exactly you

00:39:00.840 should be pulling all these things back. They already should have been pulled back. You should

00:39:04.420 be pulling all this back. That's the point. Now they're, now they're now with that and with the

00:39:09.600 numbers, they're going to double or triple down. Am I correct, sir? Yeah, that's right. Uh, and you

00:39:15.000 know, we're doing all the wrong things. We're, we're going into debt and throwing the debt into

00:39:19.640 government spending. All of it is displacing manufacturing and the, and the private sector.

00:39:25.400 Uh, we've made long-term terrible moves, shifting all the jobs to China. China's falling apart.

00:39:30.800 The head of the IMF yesterday said, we're going to shave 7% off of global GDP. If we don't buddy up,

00:39:36.980 but with the communists, all this to say it's all coming home, but right now they're just trying to

00:39:42.340 get out of it for political story. And so you're a crack economist. You gave me over a minute during the

00:39:47.720 break, uh, to catch up on this story. Guess what I found? You go out to, uh, Ed Yardini, uh, December

00:39:53.820 one, the Taylor rule right now, this is how you sort through it and see if it's politics or economics.

00:39:59.400 The Taylor rule suggests the federal funds rate should be 6.99, uh, not 5.3, which it is right

00:40:06.900 now. So the fed should still be tightening, cooling things off. And that doesn't even take into account

00:40:12.240 the latest hot data that came out over the past few weeks. Uh, so the federal reserve shift,

00:40:16.660 everyone's scratching their heads. Everybody with a brain knows what's going on is pure politics.

00:40:22.080 Uh, the government sector is at work flooding the zone. As you said, with fiscal policy,

00:40:26.860 there's still $8 trillion on the federal reserve balance sheet. Uh, the house of representatives

00:40:32.520 should be the megaphone on this, right? We need to go all in hard, making the case to the American

00:40:38.640 people. So they understand what's going on. And then you negotiate from your strong position with

00:40:44.280 the Senate. Instead on, on these budget issues, we're just caving to the Senate and the White

00:40:48.500 House immediately. And they're the one who, who, who are leading the charge of putting us in terrible

00:40:53.280 fiscal shape right now.

00:40:56.800 Talk to me, let's pivot. Let's do the Tim Alberta. Talk to me about, uh, the Tim Alberta. Tim Alberta is

00:41:01.620 the one that's saying the church, traditional Catholics and evangelicals love their country.

00:41:05.960 The problem is it's Christian nationalism. People love their country so much that it's a problem. 1.00

00:41:11.820 And Rob Reiner, a progressive Jew is telling us that, uh, Christian nationalism is a threat to 0.96

00:41:17.680 Christianity, right? Uh, so, you know, all these guys now it's Christian nationalism. This audience

00:41:23.460 is the problem. Christian nationalism is the problem. Our Lord and savior, Jesus Christ, he's the problem, 0.67

00:41:28.600 sir. Yeah, no, and it's a real problem. The reason I want to go over it again is because I've had

00:41:33.020 friends texting me his book and they're concerned with what he wrote in it. And so, you know, get out

00:41:38.940 your number two pencil, young, young people. I'll just cover a few things. First of all,

00:41:44.000 uh, Tim, uh, has worked for Politico and the Atlantic and he puts two books out, uh, both hit

00:41:50.660 pieces on Trump right before, uh, the Trump elections. He wrote this one timed at the Trump

00:41:55.600 election. He wrote the last one, uh, with a horrific title, uh, right before the election.

00:42:00.700 And he's an evangelical Christian. And his main message is, uh, evangelical Christians should not 0.72

00:42:07.720 be involved in politics. Well, his whole life is a hit man, uh, with, with a bunch of leftists and

00:42:14.120 he's on morning Mika and all the leftist guys, uh, around James Carville, uh, who's just awful.

00:42:19.640 And he's with a big state people, uh, questioning, uh, whether the right is creating a theocracy and

00:42:26.180 fascism. And so here's how, you know, instead of just the name calling and going back and forth,

00:42:31.040 I seriously just don't think he understands political economy. And so the Judeo-Christian 1.00

00:42:36.120 West has produced four major institutions, which are all aimed at preventing fascism and a big state

00:42:43.160 and Nazism and Marxism, et cetera. The first is called democracy, right? As my, as Montesquieu said,

00:42:49.520 if the democracy too small, it'll fail. And if it's too big, it'll fail. So our founders formed a

00:42:55.420 republic item number two, all of this only originated in the Republic in America, of course,

00:43:02.580 but only in Judeo-Christian lands. This is the architecture we set up. And what are the defining

00:43:08.260 characteristics of a Republic? The protection of minorities, protection of rights, life, liberty,

00:43:14.640 and pursuit of happiness, uh, which come from God. And then the separation of powers brought to you by

00:43:21.040 James Madison of Princeton Seminary, a separation of executive power in particular, we're losing on

00:43:27.920 all these fronts. Like I just described, uh, in the economics, the, the precisely because the church

00:43:33.680 has gotten weak and they don't understand their fundamental language anymore. None of this is

00:43:38.220 directly in the Bible. It takes some study, but all of it works its way out from the Bible. Then the

00:43:44.140 third one is human rights. The whole human rights architecture only originates, uh, in Western Europe

00:43:50.520 and then the U S in Judeo-Christian lands. The fourth one, uh, the free market system, uh, similarly,

00:43:57.900 Adam Smith, Calvinist Scotland, uh, the Scottish enlightenment, what does it do? Hang on one second.

00:44:04.780 We're going to take a short break, Dave. The apples in your holiday pie taste amazing,

00:44:08.820 but it's not exactly the recommended five servings of fruits and vegetables. The Mayo Clinic says if

00:45:48.620 You don't need to surveil American citizens. And that's what they're doing. That's what,

00:50:28.820 afternoon. Okay. Yes. It's, uh, the project everybody needs to hear about this this afternoon.

00:50:36.300 Thank you, brother. Mypilla.com promo code war room. Brad, I hear you. I like that

00:50:43.820 in theory, but aren't all those institutions been shattered by the, uh, by, by the elites

00:50:50.980 in this country getting off, uh, off of, um, you know, off kilter. And you can tell this,

00:50:56.460 that's where you got to go to birchgold.com slash forum or slash Bannon right now. Check

00:51:00.640 it out. The end of the dollar empire. I mean, you talk about those four, you talk about those

00:51:05.060 four institutions, the collapse of those institutions are one of the things that is, uh, that's, that's

00:51:11.600 driving quite frankly, the gold price because we're at the end of the dollar empire. We don't

00:51:15.640 even know how to protect our own, uh, our own dollar. We don't know how to protect our own

00:51:20.620 economy. You don't have the stones right now, even in the Republican party to stand up and

00:51:24.940 say this suicide mission, the suicide mission. If you don't think of a suicide mission, read

00:51:30.580 that, read the, uh, the zero hedge article. They caught up with us. They went and heard us

00:51:36.540 and went through it and did a super detailed job with charts and all of it. This is using fiat

00:51:44.520 currency to save an illegitimate president. Think about that. They're going to pump fiat currency

00:51:50.880 into the system, a massive liquidity. It used to call it a green span put, right? This is a massive

00:51:59.500 put. It's a liquidity infusion to save an illegitimate presidency. And you, on the other side of this

00:52:06.340 thing, catastrophic. You know why? Elections have consequences. Stolen elections have catastrophic

00:52:12.960 consequences. And that's where we are. It's going to even get more catastrophic. That's

00:52:17.600 why Mike Johnson with the biblical worldview and all of his lieutenants have got to stand

00:52:23.920 in the breach. You spit the bit on the NDAA, you spit the bit on the NDA and let demonic forces

00:52:31.640 into our military, demonic forces into our military. Okay. Short 90 second commercial

00:52:38.060 break. Uh, we're trying to keep Brad around. We've got, uh, Laura Logan's going to join us.

00:52:44.760 She's coming in hot on J6. We're going to go out with modern day. Holy war. Be back in a moment.
