00:00:00.000 Of course, there's very little I can say right now.
00:00:02.000 I have to analyze this.
00:00:03.820 Obviously, possibly we'll move for a new trial.
00:00:07.480 Certainly we'll appeal.
00:00:09.100 The absurdity of the number merely underscores the absurdity of the entire proceeding,
00:00:15.680 where I've not been allowed to offer one single piece of evidence in defense, of which I have a lot.
00:00:22.840 So I am quite confident when this case gets before a fair tribunal,
00:00:28.500 it'll be reversed so quickly that it'll make your head spin.
00:00:33.160 And the absurd number that just came in will help that, actually.
00:00:37.560 Why did you choose not to testify?
00:00:39.020 I want to say it was unfair.
00:00:40.140 Why do you think it was unfair?
00:00:43.860 I cannot go into the details.
00:00:46.220 I didn't testify because the judge made it clear that if I made any mistake or did anything wrong,
00:00:53.200 she was considering contempt.
00:00:54.640 And this judge does have a reputation for putting people in jail.
00:00:59.160 And I thought, honestly, it wouldn't do any good.
00:01:02.760 Do you still believe that what you said about these two women in the wake of the 2020 election was truthful?
00:01:06.660 Do you still believe these claims?
00:01:07.740 I have no doubt that my comments were made and they were supportable and are supportable today.
00:01:15.860 I just did not have an opportunity to present the evidence that we offered.
00:01:21.460 Did you notice we were not allowed to put in one piece of evidence in defense?
00:01:24.940 Do you also realize that liability is not based on any trial?
00:01:28.600 Well, my ability is based on her disagreement with me on discovery, which is absurd.
00:01:35.220 Why didn't you take a stand?
00:01:36.460 Because I believe the judge was threatening me with the strong possibility that I'd be held in contempt
00:01:43.500 or that I'd even be put in jail.
00:01:45.720 So it didn't seem like it was going to do much to persuade anybody.
00:01:51.080 And it could give her what she seemed to be threatening.
00:01:55.340 Did you believe the women's testimony?
00:01:56.280 Do you have any regrets about some of the comments that the women received?
00:02:11.960 Well, of course, the comments they received, I had nothing to do with.
00:02:15.160 Those comments are abominable.
00:02:17.700 They're deplorable.
00:02:19.860 No defense to it, but I receive comments like that every day.
00:02:23.880 Different kinds of things.
00:02:25.060 I've represented clients who have gotten that from the other side.
00:02:28.400 This is a terrible part of our political system.
00:02:31.440 Republicans, Democrats, liberals and conservatives all get that.
00:02:35.640 My comments weren't that.
00:02:39.000 And I think that was also a very unfair part of it because my comments had no connection at all to those.
00:02:44.880 There were thousands of things in the press about this, of which mine were a small amount.
00:02:49.800 There's no way to say that my comments connected to that.
00:02:53.100 But that's going to be part of what we'll get to litigate in a fair court.
00:02:56.580 Thank you.
00:02:57.480 Thank you, everybody.
00:02:59.620 Thank you, guys.
00:03:00.440 Thank you.
00:03:00.920 Thank you.
00:03:01.920 Thank you.
00:03:02.920 Thank you.
00:03:03.920 The lead story today.
00:03:05.800 By the way, it's Saturday, 16 December, Year of the Lord, 2023.
00:03:09.180 We're both live in AmFest with the team, also in the nation's capital.
00:03:13.580 We'll be shifting the flag here in a little while out to AmFest in Greater Phoenix.
00:03:17.380 I just want to thank Natalie, Jane, and Captain Bannon for holding down the lead story everywhere.
00:03:23.800 Giuliani must pay massive fines.
00:03:25.620 Giuliani, this is the beloved New York Times, which I know is one of Rudy's favorite reads.
00:03:31.840 It's got it as one of the lead stories.
00:03:35.540 Rudy Giuliani fines.
00:03:36.920 Price of lying is $148 million.
00:03:39.420 MSNBC and CNN, literally since this went down here, say about 5 o'clock, have been in a nonstop beatdown on America's mayor.
00:03:48.580 America's mayor, we were going to try to get Rudy in studio today, but with logistics and travel, we've got Rudy by Skype.
00:03:56.800 Mayor Giuliani, first of all, thank you for being here.
00:04:00.900 How are you doing, first off?
00:04:02.760 I'm doing fine, Steve.
00:04:03.900 I expected it, of course.
00:04:05.040 I expected at the moment the case was brought in D.C. rather than in Georgia.
00:04:11.040 The case was brought by an associate of Hunter Biden and a person who represented Burisma, the crooked oil company, had paid the bribes to the Bidens.
00:04:23.880 So it was obviously a Biden case.
00:04:26.680 These two so-called poor women had about a $10 million legal group.
00:04:32.120 Okay, hang on, hang on.
00:04:33.860 Let me stipulate before we get rolling.
00:04:38.340 The reason I want to do this, this kind of came as a shock to most of your huge fan base on War Room and, quite frankly, even the War Room.
00:04:45.060 We have not followed this in the level of detail we've been following from the president.
00:04:48.420 So I want to stipulate.
00:04:50.000 I want to make sure that we're not going to get you in more trouble or you're not going to get yourself in more trouble or maybe you're not in trouble and you're going to tell us that.
00:04:57.540 So Gottlieb is the lawyer.
00:04:59.340 So just tell us, how did this happen?
00:05:01.900 How did it get to federal court?
00:05:03.720 It seems like, and we're hearing this from me, you didn't put on a defense.
00:05:08.120 This kind of came out of nowhere.
00:05:09.560 It looks like the jury, I don't know if didn't find you guilty because they didn't either put you guilty, but they came in with this huge thing.
00:05:15.980 This is very confusing.
00:05:17.800 So I think the first thing we need to do is have you break it down.
00:05:20.560 And just, well, tell us what's going on because $148 million is a lot of cash.
00:05:28.960 And so I think people are quite, your fan base is worried about you, Rudy.
00:05:32.640 I just want to make sure, everybody wants to make sure you're doing okay and that this thing is going to get to a positive conclusion.
00:05:37.580 And whatever we do, let's not bury ourselves, let's not, don't bury yourself anymore if that's even a possibility.
00:05:44.560 Go ahead.
00:05:44.920 Well, I don't know what the last one means, but I can tell you that this is an absurd verdict of $148 million.
00:05:54.560 And the case was even more absurd than the verdict because it wasn't a case that anybody would recognize who's an American or English lawyer.
00:06:03.800 I'd never put on a defense.
00:06:05.560 I was never allowed to put on a defense.
00:06:07.920 And the judge found me guilty, liable, based on failure to turn over several documents after turning over thousands, none of which have a bearing on liability, but maybe on the ability to pay.
00:06:25.680 I've never heard of a case like that where a judge finds liability based on the failure to turn over tangentially relevant documents.
00:06:33.980 But that's who the judge is.
00:06:35.960 The judge is Beryl Howell.
00:06:37.620 She was the chief judge.
00:06:39.360 She's the judge who intervened because she felt the January 6th defendants weren't getting enough time in jail, which was unethical, unusual, and displayed a great bias.
00:06:51.880 She's made comments making it clear that she considers Donald Trump and those around him a danger to the republic, including me.
00:06:59.160 Recently, she made a speech right in the middle of this case, I think, or right shortly before, betraying her biases.
00:07:09.180 And while throughout the case, she didn't conduct a trial, she conducted an inquisition to cut out every defense that I had.
00:07:18.920 First, I couldn't defend myself on whether I had committed liable or not.
00:07:23.660 I wasn't allowed to put in the videotapes of them doing what I said they did, which I could have demonstrated to the jury.
00:07:31.840 I couldn't call witnesses who would support what I said.
00:07:36.360 I couldn't put documents on and reports from credible sources that said that fraud took place there.
00:07:43.400 How am I going to defend myself?
00:07:44.660 Then she decides we're going to have a trial just on damages.
00:07:49.800 So once again, I want to put these things in to show that I didn't damage them.
00:07:54.100 I put in no evidence.
00:07:55.700 I wasn't allowed to.
00:07:57.340 And when I said I would take the stand, she said to be very careful because she had already ruled that I was lying based on documents I didn't turn over that she never saw and that she could hold me in contempt.
00:08:11.120 And I know she has a propensity to put Trump people in jail, even for longer periods of time than the prosecutors recommend.
00:08:21.020 And she was sending me a clear signal that if she didn't agree with what I said, I might very well go into jail.
00:08:28.120 I mean, perjury to her is the truth to me because she's turned the world around.
00:08:35.600 And never, never, never did any of those jurors see a single piece of evidence that many Americans have seen about how these women acted that would have been totally contrary to their unrebutted, uncorroborated testimony.
00:08:54.120 It's a sham of a trial.
00:08:55.860 Now, there's no court in America that wasn't a Trump deranged court that wouldn't reverse it immediately.
00:09:06.100 No matter who the person, you can't convict somebody without any evidence.
00:09:09.340 I want to go back over that because the media is sitting there going, you talked a big game, you had all this evidence, and then you never presented it.
00:09:20.100 And you said you were going to be a witness in your own defense.
00:09:24.160 You didn't do that.
00:09:24.800 But I just want to make sure the audience understands Judge Beryl Howell is the judge, and correct me if I'm wrong, but Elise Stefanik put an ethics complaint in yesterday about her because, I guess, a speech she gave or a talk she gave at some group where she said some comments, I guess, about J6 and other things that Elise Stefanik thought were inappropriate.
00:09:48.220 So she's filed an ethics complaint on her.
00:09:49.960 Judge Howell is also the one that Julie Kelly comes on all the time, who's done the most thorough job on the J6 and goes over all the details of why she thinks she's being out of line as a judge.
00:10:01.980 So, Rudy, just explain simply for people that are not lawyers, how does a judge, a sitting federal judge, not allow someone to put on a defense and be able to provide all the evidence that's relevant in a trial
00:10:18.960 where someone says you defamed them?
00:10:21.160 Why could you not show, why did she not allow you to show that evidence that you believe shows that you didn't defame them?
00:10:33.420 Well, in the first place, she did it because she said I didn't give them certain documents on my current financial situation, which, of course, have nothing to do with whether I defamed or not.
00:10:44.120 But from the fact that I wouldn't turn over documents about my current situation or failed to, it doesn't show that I defamed them.
00:10:52.060 For something as serious as that, I mean, for something like that, you give a penalty, a fine, an order.
00:10:59.060 You don't just quickly grab an entire case and say the person's guilty.
00:11:04.520 Second, when we got to damages and I came into court and the press said, oh, I promise you.
00:11:09.420 Hang on.
00:11:09.880 Let's hold on.
00:11:10.420 Hang on.
00:11:10.800 Hang on.
00:11:11.320 Hang on.
00:11:12.100 Let's not get to damages.
00:11:13.820 In the discovery, did you actually turn over documents?
00:11:19.160 I sat for a deposition for five hours.
00:11:22.540 Didn't take the Fifth Amendment, answered every one of their questions.
00:11:25.880 I gave them every document that was relevant to what they did and what I saw.
00:11:30.360 They have all the documents that people have seen on television of them counting ballots in the manner in which they were counting ballots,
00:11:38.180 which is as clear as it can get.
00:11:40.140 They had all that.
00:11:40.800 It was all excluded.
00:11:42.520 So hang on.
00:11:43.520 Hang on.
00:11:44.100 You gave a five-hour deposition, and that was all allowed in his evidence, and you gave every document they requested?
00:11:51.080 I gave every document they requested, except for your current financial condition.
00:11:58.720 Is that it?
00:12:00.000 Yeah.
00:12:00.700 Part of it was because of confusion.
00:12:02.840 The FBI seized my documents, and I got back certain ones.
00:12:07.180 I didn't get back other ones.
00:12:08.500 And I was sorting through them to try to figure out which ones were still available.
00:12:13.660 Some of the documents I'm penalized for, I never got back from the FBI, but she didn't bother to listen to that.
00:12:17.700 But what I can assure you is none of them had to do with whether I did it or not.
00:12:23.460 Everything about whether I did it or not was kept out because it would prove that I didn't.
00:12:27.780 But then she did it again.
00:12:29.040 And so when I came in the other day and said, I'm going to tell the whole story, I was going to tell the whole story to reduce damages.
00:12:36.760 I was going to put in the tapes.
00:12:38.160 I was going to put in the reports.
00:12:40.140 I was going to put in the eyewitnesses.
00:12:41.920 I was going to put in some of the additional tapes that we have and new evidence that we have.
00:12:47.640 They made a motion, the defense did, to hold me in contempt for that because I contradicted her ruling.
00:12:55.540 And they made a motion in limiting.
00:12:57.780 That means to limit me.
00:12:59.360 And she ruled that I could do none of that.
00:13:02.480 And that if I did, I'd be held in contempt.
00:13:06.040 Hang on.
00:13:06.980 This is where – hang on a second.
00:13:09.460 Slow down.
00:13:09.820 For non-lawyers, that's a little confusing.
00:13:14.220 They put in – they put in a – they put in – they said if you presented the evidence that you have, that you relied upon, that showed you didn't defame them, they had – their lawyers came forward and said you should be held in contempt if you put that in.
00:13:29.580 And do I understand that correctly?
00:13:31.900 I would be violating her ruling that I had lied.
00:13:36.440 If I did anything to contradict her ruling that I lied, either in the testimony that I gave or in the documents that I put in, I would be held in contempt.
00:13:46.960 So she excluded all the documents that I was going to put in.
00:13:51.860 She excluded every other piece of evidence that I was going to put in.
00:13:56.140 She excluded my lawyer from cross-examining on that.
00:13:59.740 And she told me – she gave me advice on whether to testify or not and told me she didn't think I should testify because I would expose myself to perjury and that she really regretted not having held me in contempt before.
00:14:19.200 She also told me – she also told me at another point she didn't like me.
00:14:24.900 This was not a trial.
00:14:26.240 Okay, Rudy, hang on for – hang on for a second.
00:14:30.220 I want to get into –
00:14:31.720 So the question I asked – the question I asked you for the break and to think about, why did a judge rule that you were lying?
00:14:39.580 I think the audience has to understand that, or at least I do because I still don't understand it.
00:14:43.620 But anyway, we're going to take a short commercial break.
00:14:45.360 America's mayor, Rudy Giuliani, just had in a federal court a $148 million, I guess, awarded to what Ruby Freeman and her daughter.

00:17:17.640 Go check it out today.
00:17:19.300 So, Rudy, I've got to spend some more time with you off air because I'll be blunt.
00:17:25.000 I'm more confused now than when we started.
00:17:28.520 And, I mean, it's hard enough to think through the Trump stuff because they're coming to him
00:17:31.480 every different direction.
00:17:32.280 But this thing kind of came out of nowhere.
00:17:34.160 You've just got to help me explain.
00:17:35.400 Just explain it to me.
00:17:36.920 How does a judge rule that you're lying?
00:17:41.480 And I want to know what she ruled that on.
00:17:43.420 And then that rolls into that.
00:17:45.240 She uses that or that's a predicate that you're not trustworthy enough, I guess, to even get
00:17:51.240 on a stand and give testimony.
00:17:53.040 So, therefore, you never present a case.
00:17:55.660 Because I think your followers and your fans are sitting there going, Rudy had all this
00:18:00.840 evidence.
00:18:01.320 Why didn't he?
00:18:02.140 And the media is just crushing you on this.
00:18:04.100 Why didn't he present his case if he's got this evidence?
00:18:07.620 And why didn't he take the stand in his own defense?
00:18:10.460 So, we've got a couple of minutes to explain that one to me because I'm more confused than
00:18:14.120 ever, brother.
00:18:15.720 I hope that I explained it.
00:18:17.960 But let me try again.
00:18:18.800 But the reality is that she did not find me liable based on any evidence because there
00:18:24.380 was no evidence.
00:18:30.380 Not having produced a discovery she thought I should produce, none of which had anything
00:18:35.180 to do with liability, had nothing to do with whether I did something right or wrong, but
00:18:40.000 how much money I would owe if I did.
00:18:42.500 And a lot of it was because of the FBI having seized my documents and then finding me not
00:18:48.200 guilty.
00:18:50.000 Second, when we came to the trial on damages, she wouldn't allow me to put in any of the
00:18:55.960 evidence with regard to what I would say with my innocence, because that would contradict
00:19:01.800 her ruling and be contempt.
00:19:04.140 And then she cut my lawyer off in any questions on cross-examination as being outside the scope
00:19:11.480 of the case.
00:19:12.340 And she warned me in a little speech that she gave that if I got on the witness stand
00:19:17.820 and I testified the way I spoke out of court about being innocent and what I could prove,
00:19:24.300 she would be required to hold me in contempt.
00:19:27.960 And that means going to jail.
00:19:31.520 Given the fact that I would not have been able to get anything in, I know she puts people
00:19:36.640 in jail.
00:19:37.080 Well, she did a heck of a job with the J6 people, kind of bloodthirsty.
00:19:41.180 She was the one who urged that they weren't going to jail for long enough periods of time.
00:19:46.200 I had no doubt that she would do that.
00:19:49.100 And I had no doubt that she found me guilty the day the case was assigned to her.
00:19:54.360 The woman has no ability to be objective at all in any case involving Donald Trump.
00:20:00.300 She is a travesty to a court that's becoming a travesty.
00:20:04.540 And I'm glad this happened because maybe it'll get attention for the J6 cases where people
00:20:11.180 were treated equally like it's a Nazi court without any kind of change.
00:20:19.080 Yeah, but hang on a second.
00:20:20.880 Hang on.
00:20:21.480 The J6 are the J6 and they got their own fights and I know they're in a terrible situation.
00:20:26.860 But I got to focus on you because this is a could be a death now.
00:20:32.380 Are you and let's assume everything you said is accurate in the timeline.
00:20:37.020 How did this happen in the United States?
00:20:39.080 What you're laying out is actually sounds worse than what's happening in Manhattan with
00:20:44.140 the judge up there against President Trump in his financial situation.
00:20:48.360 How did this happen in the United States of America?
00:20:50.800 You've been one of the you were the head of the Southern District of New York, the premier
00:20:54.480 U.S. attorney group up there.
00:20:56.740 Historically, they're out of control now also.
00:20:59.620 But when you ran it, they weren't.
00:21:01.920 How did this if everything you say is true and all these rulings in the process is true?
00:21:06.560 How did this happen in the United States?
00:21:08.080 And why is no one?
00:21:09.080 Why are no civil liberty groups?
00:21:10.960 All these lawyer groups.
00:21:12.260 Where's Alan Dershowitz?
00:21:13.260 Where are all these guys screaming bloody murder about what happened to Rudy Giuliani?
00:21:16.520 Well, maybe they don't know about it, but a lot of them don't scream bloody murder.
00:21:23.120 A lot of the civil liberties groups have become anti-civil liberties.
00:21:27.040 They support a fascist system of government.
00:21:29.640 My goodness, people shouldn't be surprised.
00:21:31.400 This isn't the first case where they started acting like a court in Nazi Germany.
00:21:36.320 I mean, it's gone on for five or six years.
00:21:38.080 That's what I defended Donald Trump against.
00:21:39.780 I mean, every one of these cases has been conducted on principles that violate our Constitution.
00:21:46.900 They trashed our Constitution the moment they put in a surveillance of my iCloud account the day I represented Donald Trump.
00:21:58.560 They kept it for three years without telling me and won't give me the warrant that supports it, even though they found no evidence of the crime.
00:22:05.100 So this has been going on, I believe, since Holder and Obama.
00:22:11.080 And it just gets worse and worse and worse.
00:22:13.320 And because we ignore it, they become bold.
00:22:16.580 This judge happens to be one of the worst.
00:22:19.340 Is she worse than the judge in New York?
00:22:22.100 I don't know.
00:22:23.420 But her rulings are absurd.
00:22:26.460 I mean, they don't even fit anything arguably legal.
00:22:30.520 You can't, based on dispute over discovery, you can't hold somebody liable of a major offense without putting any evidence of that offense or giving them even one chance to refute it when they have incontrovertible evidence that it's true.
00:22:49.600 Rudy, just quickly, what's your status?
00:22:55.840 Are you going to try for a retrial in a different location or the different judge?
00:22:59.820 Are you going to try to appeal this?
00:23:01.140 Just walk people through the process.
00:23:03.440 Well, we're going to try to appeal it.
00:23:04.840 I mean, another interesting thing is this case should have been brought in Georgia.
00:23:08.080 It was brought in D.C. to get it before the most anti-Trump set of jurors and judges in the world.
00:23:17.060 I mean, if you're a lawyer, you will tell your client or malpractice comes about.
00:23:24.380 If you're a Trump person, you're not getting a fair trial in the district.
00:23:27.980 Now, if you don't tell you, if you don't warn your client of that, I would say you're guilty of malpractice.
00:23:33.400 Go check that with any lawyer who still has a bit of common sense.
00:23:38.000 So they took they brought it in the worst court they could, even worse than Georgia, where you might get lucky and get a fair judge.
00:23:44.800 And then this judge went way off the rails from the very, very beginning.
00:23:50.600 Even the discovery.
00:23:52.340 I was being discovered for other cases because these people are working for the Bidens, not for the not for the not for the women.
00:24:00.460 They were asking me questions that had to do with Trump's liability, other people's liability.
00:24:05.860 Basically, they wanted me to rat.
00:24:07.540 You know, that's that's what's going on.
00:24:09.500 They offered me settlements and I told them to go to hell.
00:24:11.780 This was a, Rudy, stalking action for Biden and also to shut up the guy that's the most damage to him.
00:24:22.140 Remember, when he came into the campaign, he sent out a letter to the press to keep Giuliani off the media.
00:24:28.020 He succeeded in doing that eventually with the hard drive.
00:24:30.740 He defamed me, calling me a Russian pawn, which has proven to be 100 percent a lie by Biden and very damaging to me.
00:24:42.000 It cost me it cost me six, seven million dollars of law practice.
00:24:45.780 So I'm hoping I'll get back from him any money I might need.
00:24:51.940 But in any event, this is going to be thrown out.
00:24:54.460 This this this award is so absurd.
00:24:57.080 Even the amount of money, if you just look at the amount of money for the damages they're talking about, it's like a jury that a jury that was just inflamed by one side of the case and prohibited from hearing the other.
00:25:10.400 That only happens in a fascist country.
00:25:13.440 Wake up, America.
00:25:15.460 Biden's America where he's got control.
00:25:18.480 Those Democratic cities is a fascist country.
00:25:22.900 Rudy, how do people get to you on the radio?
00:25:25.600 Because this is something people are going to want to know more about your writings.
00:25:28.960 Where do they go for the podcast, the radio, your writings?
00:25:32.280 Because this is something people are going to have to drill down on, make sure they get their heads around, particularly in supporting you in appeals or retrial, everything like that.
00:25:40.420 Where do people go?
00:25:42.060 The best way to get to me is RudolfGiulianiCS.com.
00:25:46.680 That'll get you to my website.
00:25:48.700 You can get to my radio show at WABCRadio.com.

00:26:29.100 We'll check with you after the show's over.
00:26:31.060 You've got, this audience has got your back, Rudy.
00:26:33.720 Not just in your prayers, but financially and every other way.
00:26:39.520 We'll somehow figure this out.
00:26:42.140 Still, I don't know about you.
00:26:44.220 I'm still totally confused.
00:26:46.360 But I'm sure I'll understand this eventually.
00:26:50.140 I'm just confused.
00:26:50.960 This thing doesn't make any sense.
00:26:52.760 So anyway, we'll drill down on this.
00:26:55.980 AmFest.

00:29:56.320 Here's your host, Stephen K. Band.
00:29:58.660 Okay, honored to have Philip Patrick join us.
00:30:03.540 And, Philip, thank you for taking time away on your Saturday to come on.
00:30:08.360 You know, I've been telling people, you know,
00:30:10.520 we've got the end of the dollar empire, the four installments we've done.
00:30:13.920 I tell people all the time, and we talk about macro.
00:30:17.240 I'm not here to give personal financial advice.
00:30:19.520 We do the macro and then tell people to go to you and your team over at
00:30:23.280 birchgold.com slash Bannon to talk to an advisor.
00:30:27.300 But one of the things we tell people to do when they're talking to you is
00:30:30.540 about these converging forces that are converging, making the world more
00:30:37.440 turbulent, and gold has always been a hedge against turbulence for 5,000 years
00:30:42.960 or more of man's recorded history.
00:30:44.700 Boom, full stop.
00:30:46.340 Now there's something else happening, and that's why I thank you for coming on
00:30:49.720 today because I want to take some time without the pressure of the Daily
00:30:52.560 Show to go through this.
00:30:55.440 We talked about it last week.
00:30:56.980 There's been some, I've talked about it with the guys at hedge funds and
00:31:00.180 others are seeing it, seeing this rise in the stock market.
00:31:03.760 A couple of the top newsletters that go to hedge funds, and I mean these are
00:31:07.560 things that cost $100,000 a year or $200,000 a year, have broken down parts of
00:31:12.220 it.
00:31:13.040 We were on the show the other day and really went through it to the best of my
00:31:16.400 ability because I am not a trader, and I am not a capital markets guy.
00:31:20.220 I know enough from my HBS experience and then Goldman Sachs M&A to basically
00:31:26.200 understand the basic nature of the capital markets.
00:31:29.740 But this is something totally different.
00:31:32.180 Zero Hedge then came out the day after we walked through this with other analysis and
00:31:36.700 deeper charts.
00:31:37.400 But I want you to explain to people how on everything that's going on in geopolitics,
00:31:44.440 on world finance and the $300 trillion of debt and the kind of margin call we're having
00:31:49.720 globally, that on top of all that, the Central Bank of the United States and the Treasury
00:31:56.240 Department, Janet Yellen, remember, Janet Yellen's already been head of the Fed.
00:31:59.100 In fact, I don't know how many, she may be the first, I don't know how many former heads
00:32:02.940 of the Fed came back and were Treasury Secretary.
00:32:06.000 She knows where all the pockets of capital are to infuse liquidity into the system.
00:32:12.000 So walk us through, not just the converging forces that are driving gold up or making gold
00:32:17.420 an alternative for people that want to hedge their bets here, but these new added forces,
00:32:22.960 which are not driven by natural cycles.
00:32:26.200 This is kind of unnatural what's happening, and it's all to stop Trump from returning
00:32:30.720 to the White House, sir.
00:32:33.300 Well, I mean, it's absolutely correct.
00:32:36.080 And it was highlighted when we saw just a complete 180 or pivot from the Fed.
00:32:42.800 And on the back of that, we've seen economically sensitive assets rally, right?
00:32:47.980 As you mentioned, markets hit all-time highs, gold hit an all-time high.
00:32:51.640 And this was after the Fed essentially signaled that they were done raising interest rates
00:32:56.860 and forecast potentially three rate cuts next year.
00:33:00.160 Now, Powell's comments about turning to rate cuts, I think, were in a way surprising.
00:33:06.140 Let's not forget, two weeks ago, he said it was too soon to speculate when lowering rates
00:33:12.200 may be appropriate.
00:33:13.440 And after all, let's look at the inflation numbers.
00:33:16.140 Headline inflation is 50% over the Fed's target today.
00:33:19.480 Core PCE, their preferred measure, a mere 75% above their alleged target.
00:33:27.360 So in that respect, it's a big surprise.
00:33:30.480 But on the other hand, it's not that surprising.
00:33:32.880 Let's consider on Friday the 9th, Biden gave a speech in Vegas where he said, and I quote,
00:33:39.100 that the latest jobs report were in a sweet spot that's needed for stable growth and lower
00:33:45.380 inflation, not encouraging the Fed to raise interest rates.
00:33:49.240 Now, for a little bit of context, we've got to understand 25% of the jobs added were government
00:33:55.320 jobs.
00:33:56.280 Now, I rather like Wyoming Senator John Barrasso's response to that on the economy.
00:34:02.400 He said, Joe Biden's message is just this, don't believe your lying eyes, right?
00:34:08.820 American households are struggling, and they have been for three years now.
00:34:13.040 Now, I think people are asking themselves, does the Fed have some numbers that we don't,
00:34:17.680 right?
00:34:17.960 What's driving this U-turn?
00:34:20.900 And I think the best answer we have is Biden's poll numbers.
00:34:25.420 There's nothing outside of that that could be driving it.
00:34:28.460 Those poll numbers are looking really ugly, particularly in some key swing states.
00:34:33.660 Now, we can always expect a little bit of extra government spending in the run-up to election.
00:34:39.780 That's not abnormal.
00:34:42.120 But this year, Congress has upgraded from pork barrel spending to a fiscal slaughterhouse.
00:34:48.720 They are churning out IOUs now at an industrial scale.
00:34:52.620 Now, it might sound like an exaggeration, but we've got to look at some numbers.
00:34:57.140 In just two months, October and November, government debt rose from $383 billion, or rose $383 billion,
00:35:05.240 I should say.
00:35:05.960 That's $47 billion more than the year before.
00:35:08.900 Government revenues rose 19%, but spending has risen even more.
00:35:13.600 We've racked up, as you know, a $1.7 trillion deficit.
00:35:18.160 Now, this is during a period, and I think this is important, when Biden's telling us we have
00:35:23.680 a booming economy, record-setting GDP, and full employment.
00:35:28.060 But it just doesn't make any rational sense.
00:35:31.720 When an economy is in great shape, we don't need World War II levels of deficit spending.
00:35:37.980 So the logical question then becomes, what could possibly justify such a large surge in spending?
00:35:44.300 And it's one thing.
00:35:45.320 It's the opinion polls.
00:35:46.780 This is an outright attempt to purchase another term in office and to do it with our own money.
00:35:53.520 And he's not alone.
00:35:55.120 I think this week, we found out that Powell is complicit, right?
00:35:58.840 He's signaling loud and clear to us that the Fed is willing to sacrifice the dollar's purchasing
00:36:05.040 power in a desperate attempt to juice the economy just enough to convince voters that
00:36:11.300 Bidenomics is finally working.
00:36:13.480 So much for an independent Fed.
00:36:15.560 This is Nixon and his bag man burns all over again.
00:36:19.140 And by the way, when I say sacrifice the dollar, it's not an exaggeration.
00:36:23.660 The dollar's down 3.5% in the last 30 days.
00:36:27.660 And this is in a period where pound sterling is up 3%.
00:36:30.640 Why?
00:36:31.540 Because Bank of England kept rates at 15-year highs.
00:36:35.120 The euro's up 3%.
00:36:36.840 Why?
00:36:37.280 Because the European Central Bank left rates at record highs.
00:36:40.700 So the UK and Eurozone are prioritizing long-term economic health over Band-Aid fixes with crippling amounts of debt.
00:36:52.000 Look, we've discussed this for a long time, but it's becoming clearer and clearer.
00:36:56.740 The federal government is broken.
00:36:58.680 Our elected leaders are clearly willing to burn the whole thing down, encumber our children
00:37:03.680 and our grandchildren with trillions of dollars in debt.
00:37:06.660 And we have to ask, to what end to buy another term in office, to set even more record budget deficits,
00:37:13.960 to gain some temporary political advantage?
00:37:17.240 But we have to understand there's a price, right?
00:37:19.800 If Biden gets another term in office, it's temporary.
00:37:22.560 At worst, another four years.
00:37:24.840 The debt, it isn't temporary.
00:37:26.840 It's going to be a reality we all have to face long after Biden and his cronies are done.
00:37:31.940 This is what is happening today.
00:37:33.640 And this is what has to stop.
00:37:36.020 We've said before, we're already at the point of no return.
00:37:39.960 This pivot is signaling something very dangerous.
00:37:43.240 So I think next year is going to be very tough.
00:37:45.820 And we'll see where it ends.
00:37:48.780 Well, it starts off when they get back.
00:37:50.680 They get back on the 9th, the house.
00:37:52.560 And the 19th is the first CR.
00:37:55.000 This is why this audience has got to be at the ramparts.
00:37:57.420 So we have to give them the intellectual firepower.
00:38:00.240 And this affects your life.
00:38:01.520 This is why the APR on your credit card look no farther than the than the one point two trillion dollar credit card debt.
00:38:08.200 But I don't know, 10 percent non-performing right now or as high as 20 percent is non-performing.
00:38:13.980 Think your own life.
00:38:16.080 I want to I want to go back, though, to the evidence.
00:38:18.260 I got a couple of minutes here.
00:38:19.160 I'll hold you to the break.
00:38:20.360 I'll hold you to after the break.
00:38:22.640 Powell and these guys had made such a big day.
00:38:24.900 They had done so much massive spending at the beginning, so much Biden, another 10 trillion dollars of spending on top of the seven train a year.
00:38:33.160 We're doing it in the federal government, up 40 percent in post pandemic spending just by itself as a baseline that they won't cut.
00:38:42.280 They made a determination.
00:38:43.900 Go back to those inflation numbers.
00:38:45.300 He was adamant that we're going to take as long.
00:38:48.680 And he said this just the last thing we're going to take as long as it takes to wring inflation out of this.
00:38:54.680 But you just made the comments on their core numbers.
00:38:57.220 It's 50 percent over and one in 75 percent over in the core.
00:39:01.300 They haven't come close.
00:39:02.980 That's what is so shocking about this the other day.
00:39:05.580 It shouldn't be lost on people.
00:39:07.380 It came out the same day as the Bloomberg morning consult poll shows Trump up four and five points.
00:39:14.380 And remember, they have a tough time polling Trump.
00:39:16.760 So these are low numbers.
00:39:18.080 He's up four or five points in every every battleground state.
00:39:21.460 They don't even they don't even poll Ohio, Iowa or Florida anymore.
00:39:26.760 Those are 10 point spreads.
00:39:28.940 He's up 10 points in the think of Michigan, 11 points in Michigan.
00:39:32.420 The numbers Bidenomics is crashed so much they don't talk about it.
00:39:35.820 But go back. Here's the tell.
00:39:38.000 These were the guys are going to ring.
00:39:39.460 They knew they had made a mistake.
00:39:40.900 They were embarrassed about they made a mistake.
00:39:42.940 They were humiliated about it, Philip.
00:39:44.860 And they were on a jihad to ring inflation out of the system, no matter how long it took.
00:39:51.200 And voila, nowhere, not just a pivot, but a pivot to tell people, hey, we're putting the punch bowl back even bigger.
00:39:59.640 And we got three times we're going to do it, sir.
00:40:02.600 I mean, it's absolutely correct.
00:40:04.280 Again, to run through those numbers, headline inflation, 50 percent above the Fed's target.
00:40:10.720 Core PCE, their preferred measurement, 75 percent above their alleged target.
00:40:16.660 So the Fed has a ton of work to do.
00:40:19.100 And they've given up the fight and they've given up the fight for exactly the reason that you said.
00:40:23.440 They fear Trump.
00:40:24.420 They're willing to do whatever they can do.
00:40:26.720 And look, the Fed needs to be independent.
00:40:29.000 That's the whole point of the Federal Reserve.
00:40:30.720 This is not an independent Fed.
00:40:32.900 They see Trump's poll numbers and they give up on the inflation fight.
00:40:36.600 It's absurd.
00:40:37.920 And they did it earlier in the year as well, right?
00:40:39.960 They raised interest rates.
00:40:41.360 They were getting a handle on inflation.
00:40:43.300 The banks failed and they chose the banks over the American people.
00:40:46.640 This Fed doesn't care about the American people.
00:40:49.320 They're being incredibly political.
00:40:51.260 And like I said, it reminds us of Burns under Nixon doing what had to be done to juice for the election.
00:40:57.480 It's the same thing over and all over again.
00:41:00.200 And the difference is the stakes are much, much higher today.
00:41:05.440 We're going to talk about the stakes.
00:41:06.980 Yellen being a former Fed chair at Treasury, she knows where these pools of capital are.
00:41:11.820 I think there's $750 billion, $800 billion, almost a trillion in this emergency measures.
00:41:16.240 They're using that.
00:41:17.720 This is the whole bank capital hearing they had last week.
00:41:20.840 They want the banks, they're going to force the banks to buy more bonds.
00:41:24.540 You've got the reverse repo market that's getting liquidity in there.
00:41:28.260 This is why they can continue to not do quantitative easing, but they have other methodologies.
00:41:33.040 And she's running, she's running a close, it's a close run thing, as the Brits say, right?
00:41:38.020 But I want to go back, this ultimately is going to be for the purchasing power.
00:41:43.020 The American people are taking this.
00:41:45.120 This is why the Brits are buying gold at record levels.
00:41:48.120 They say, hey, maybe the deplorables, maybe MAGA has to suck on this, but we don't.
00:41:52.580 The purchasing power of the dollar, I think, is down 19% since Biden took over.
00:41:56.940 But just give me two minutes here, we'll hold you through the break.
00:42:00.940 They're going to destroy the dollar.
00:42:02.480 I mean, they kind of, they are saying that essentially out loud.
00:42:05.920 We don't care about the dollar as a prime reserve currency.
00:42:08.900 This is essentially emergency measure.
00:42:10.700 We've got to break the glass to stop Trump, sir.
00:42:13.440 Yeah, it's exactly correct.
00:42:15.160 And it is so short-sighted.
00:42:17.500 And like you said, the dollar is plummeting.
00:42:19.700 It's losing purchasing power.
00:42:21.740 We have China and Russia who don't like the dominance of the dollar.
00:42:25.140 But we're making an easy argument.
00:42:27.500 There is a good financial argument.
00:42:30.400 Forget the geopolitics.
00:42:31.720 There's a good financial argument for people today to be dumping dollars, right?
00:42:36.800 We're playing into their hands, and we're making it easy.
00:42:40.060 We're making the decisions easy.
00:42:41.860 And it's not what we should be doing.
00:42:44.180 If we lose a grip on global reserve currency, as you know, Steve, there is no coming back from that.
00:42:49.880 And that's why I've always said, you know, if Trump gets in in 24, he's going to fix the problems that Biden has created.
00:42:57.180 To regain a grip on global reserve currency status, that's going to be very difficult.
00:43:02.300 And I've always said Trump's 24 is going to be dependent on how much damage is done over the next nine or ten months.
00:43:09.720 And these guys can do a lot in a short space of time.
00:43:12.740 So these are big problems.
00:43:14.640 No, no, and these are – this is what I keep saying about the face amount of the debt.
00:43:19.440 You know, we just went through 34 trillion, added a trillion in 90 days, trailing 12 months, total deficit, two and a half trillion.
00:43:27.300 When you look at the real – the trailing 12, it's 200 billion.
00:43:30.140 As Philip walked through, it's 200 billion a month.
00:43:31.940 We're going to add another trillion every five months.
00:43:35.140 It's insanity.
00:43:36.880 Hang on for a short commercial break.

00:45:28.120 War Room.
00:45:29.220 Here's your host, Stephen K. Band.
00:45:34.380 Philip Patrick joins us.
00:45:36.860 Philip, I want – and so just this is for all the audience.
00:45:41.460 Everything we've covered, the end of the dollar empire, all the things we're talking about, the converging forces that have been driving up the price of gold to record rates, that's before this.
00:45:51.540 This is something that wouldn't happen.
00:45:53.180 And Navarro walked through and Philip alluded to it.
00:45:56.200 They called the political economic cycle where in every election year you always have more government spending.
00:46:01.900 They're always trying to juice it.
00:46:02.880 It's just natural human tendency to want to goose this.
00:46:07.520 Not like the level Arthur Burns with Nixon.
00:46:10.280 That was quite different.
00:46:11.320 But here it's an order of magnitude different.
00:46:14.820 We're talking about something that will leave permanent carnage onto the balance sheet of this country, onto the dollar, on the face – I mean these will be decades to unwind.
00:46:27.580 And it's all because of the fear of Trump, the fear of the MAGA movement.
00:46:31.320 They've come all in that you have the lawfare part with national security and law enforcement in the courts.
00:46:38.400 You see that.
00:46:38.940 You have the biopharmaceutical.
00:46:41.160 And this is where – who knows what they're going to drop again.
00:46:43.360 But you saw where 20 percent of the American people in response to the polls said, I broke the law on the mail-in ballots, and they want to go back to mail-in ballots.
00:46:51.100 And the third here is the central bank.
00:46:54.380 And it's because I'm – part of it, I'm sure, is that on the end of the dollar empire, the fourth installment was we talked about, hey, just an executive order got us off the gold standard.
00:47:03.780 That might have to be reviewed.
00:47:05.080 A bunch of news services picked it up.
00:47:06.620 I'm also a big name in ending the Federal Reserve, and they know that, and they understand that MAGA is tired of this fiat currency.
00:47:16.920 Philip, closing thoughts, but particularly I want people more than ever to go to you guys to immerse yourself in all the information we've made available on the site,
00:47:26.700 but also to talk to your people about, quite frankly, why gold's been a hedge for 5,000 years.
00:47:31.480 And, hey, baby, the turbulence you're about to see is like nothing we've seen in modern American history.
00:47:37.020 Sir, where do they go?
00:47:38.920 It's very simple, birchgold.com forward slash Bannon.
00:47:43.220 Again, birchgold.com forward slash Bannon.
00:47:47.700 Really good information.
00:47:49.240 Not only the four reports, we're working on a fifth installment, but also guides on how to purchase precious metals both through a retirement account as well as cash.
00:47:58.700 So just, as you say always, immerse yourself in the information.
00:48:02.960 At the very least, you'll leave a little bit more informed and, at best, heading into next year with some good protection.
00:48:09.780 And after getting the end of the dollar empire and going through all four, and you don't have to be an economist.
00:48:15.980 We've tried to make this so that for curious people, you'll understand enough.
00:48:20.780 But also talk to Philip and the team.
00:48:22.620 And this, I'm very serious on the Warpath Coffee.
00:48:24.760 You know, it's my baby.
00:48:26.880 But I mean it.
00:48:27.860 Brew a big pot of coffee.
00:48:29.260 And after you talk to Philip and the team, and after you've gotten all the information on the site, you go to warpath.coffee slash warm to get your discounts, particularly the dark roast.
00:48:40.320 I want you to cut off the TV and the streaming services.
00:48:43.240 I want you to cut off the phone.
00:48:44.440 I want you to cut off the iPad.
00:48:45.580 And I want you to tell the kids, go outside and play.
00:48:48.880 Now more than ever, particularly on this topic, you need to spend time just with yourself after you've got the information.
00:48:55.020 And think things through for yourself.
00:48:56.880 You're free men and free women.
00:48:58.000 Take a big hit of that coffee.
00:49:00.800 You've got what the Birch Gold guys told you.
00:49:03.000 Think about it.
00:49:03.900 And just think about it.
00:49:04.700 Because decisions are going to be made in this country right now that you need to be up to speed on.
00:49:10.480 The economics, because it ties directly and actually undergirds the political, but also in your own personal life.
00:49:16.520 Because this is, we are headling into times that are so turbulent, it's unbelievable.
00:49:20.860 Philip, how did they get to you on social media?
00:49:22.440 You're terrific.
00:49:23.960 And our audience loves the fact you put in so much time to help the war room out.
00:49:28.880 It's really simple.
00:49:29.740 At Philip Patrick on Getter.
00:49:31.980 At Philip Patrick on Getter.
00:49:36.180 Philip, thank you and the entire team.
00:49:37.820 We're working on the fifth.
00:49:39.200 Going to drop another bomb here, hopefully early in the new year.
00:49:43.380 Thank you, sir.
00:49:44.820 Thank you, Steve.
00:49:45.460 And a Merry Christmas.
00:49:45.820 We'll have Philip on between now and then.
00:49:51.380 What a good guy.
00:49:52.440 The team over there.
00:49:54.860 Go today.
00:49:56.020 Go check it out.
00:49:56.840 Go to the site.
00:49:57.480 Get all the free information.
00:49:59.380 Talk to one of the advisors.
00:50:01.240 Okay.
00:50:01.920 We're at AmFest.
00:50:03.960 I am going to give a keynote address on Sunday.
00:50:10.040 We're going to be live on the show Monday and Tuesday.
00:50:12.620 May try to get up and try to do some stuff tomorrow.
00:50:14.640 Check us out on Getter.
00:50:16.440 If we're going to do it, if we can do it, if there's availability.
00:50:19.820 I want to thank the guys for making it available today.
00:50:22.640 We'll see you at AmFest and on Getter throughout the weekend.
00:50:26.740 Modern day, Holy War.
00:50:28.640 Lady, no Grady.
00:50:29.840 She'll be at AmFest.
00:50:32.340 She's up today, I think, at the Clay Clark Reawaken America.
00:50:36.220 Okay.
00:50:37.560 We'll see you this afternoon.
00:50:39.200 See you tomorrow live with my speech.
00:50:40.840 We'll be covering it live.
00:50:41.800 Until then, you've been in the war room.
00:50:44.320 Straight line, don't fall behind.
00:50:48.420 Oh, no, the television's only meant to indoctrinate the mind.
00:50:56.940 Seeing ain't always believing doesn't mean it ain't true.
00:51:02.880 Oh, and there's an unbathomable label right under you.
00:51:09.400 We're in a modern day, holy war.
00:51:13.920 Coming after your mind, your body, your soul.
00:51:19.780 Oh, oh, it's true.
00:51:24.660 Modern day, holy war.
00:51:28.760 Count your blessings, be your sin.
00:51:31.980 No more, no more.
00:51:34.880 Cause Jesus put the light in you.
00:51:41.400 A light in you.
00:51:45.700 Oh, count your blessings, be your servant.
00:51:50.440 Till his will is done.
00:51:54.200 Could you be clear, could it be true that everything you learn in school was always just a great big stupid lie?
00:52:01.200 Things you wouldn't believe, mind, can't conceive, will probably make you break down and want to cry?
00:52:08.660 Don't you want to know how to stop the flow of evil so late and be running?
00:52:13.900 Ramp it in a fun and war?
00:52:15.660 There's some answers to these problems if you want to solve them.
00:52:25.840 Then Jesus, love and truth.
00:52:31.120 We're in a modern day, holy war.
00:52:38.120 Only, only, only, what I'm waiting for.
00:52:49.120 Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh.
00:52:53.680 Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh.
00:52:58.140 Evil so blatantly running, ramp it in a modern world.
00:53:01.900 Oh, oh, oh, oh.
00:53:04.620 Evil so badly running, rippin' in a modern world
00:53:11.620 Don't your blessings be in sin
00:53:17.440 On one day, holy one
00:53:25.620 Folks, let me tell you about Soul Tea.
00:53:29.480 It's a company that makes a soft gel supplement rich in antioxidants
00:53:32.840 to help people like you and me keep a healthy heart.
00:53:36.720 While COVID gets all the headlines, it's important to realize
00:53:39.800 that heart disease kills nearly 700,000 Americans every year.
00:53:44.980 Yes, heart disease is the number one killer every year, year in and year out.
00:53:48.800 Heart disease builds over time.
