Summary

Impeachment Resolution passed the House of Representatives and now heads to the Senate where it will be voted on for the first time on a sitting cabinet member since 1876. Why is a Congressman so worked up about this?

Transcript

00:00:00.000 ...like spoiled, rotten children who got what they want and still can't take yes for an answer.
00:00:06.900 But they own all of this now.
00:00:09.240 And if anyone needs more proof than that, look no further than the sponsor of this resolution, Marjorie Taylor Greene.
00:00:18.900 A MAGA extremist who amplifies Holocaust deniers, who said 9-11 was a hoax,
00:00:25.220 who says wildfires are started by Jewish space lasers.
00:00:30.860 That's the legislative and intellectual force behind this impeachment resolution.
00:00:36.080 In fact, if it passes, she's going to be an impeachment manager on the floor of the United States Senate.
00:00:42.320 God help us!
00:00:44.900 It's just more proof that this is fraudulent, unconstitutional garbage.
00:00:51.700 But Donald Trump wants another fraudulent impeachment, another distraction from his own legal troubles,
00:00:57.480 another excuse to kill a bipartisan border deal instead of working across the aisle to get something done.
00:01:04.040 So here we are.
00:01:05.200 Here we are.
00:01:06.200 Because Trump calls the shots around here.
00:01:09.160 He directed Speaker Johnson and extreme MAGA Republicans not to work with Democrats to address challenges at the border.
00:01:16.100 And you know, one thing we know, Republicans work for Trump.
00:01:20.640 Not for you, the voters.
00:01:23.100 They worship and they work for Donald Trump, who doesn't care about anybody but himself.
00:01:29.940 They are frightened to death of the former president.
00:01:35.700 Secretary Mayorkas, Mr. Speaker, is a good man.
00:01:40.260 A decent man.
00:01:41.860 Someone who is trying to do his job.
00:01:44.200 Despite the fact that Republicans refused to give him the tools needed to do what they are asking him to do.
00:01:49.580 He's an honorable public servant who respects law enforcement and takes seriously his oath of office and his obligation to uphold and enforce the law.
00:02:00.780 And in smearing his good name, Republicans are only impeaching themselves and showing what all their rhetoric about the border has been nothing more than a bunch of BS.
00:02:13.340 And with that, Mr. Speaker, I reserve my time.
00:02:15.580 This is the primal scream of a dying regime.
00:02:23.620 Pray for our enemies.
00:02:25.580 Because we're going medieval on these people.
00:02:28.840 I got a free shot at all these networks lying about the people.
00:02:33.100 The people have had a belly full of it.
00:02:35.060 I know you don't like hearing that.
00:02:36.500 I know you've tried to do everything in the world to stop that, but you're not going to stop it.
00:02:39.140 It's going to happen.
00:02:40.420 And where do people like that go to share the big lie?
00:02:43.800 MAGA Media.
00:02:44.700 I wish in my soul, I wish that any of these people had a conscience.
00:02:50.600 Ask yourself, what is my task and what is my purpose?
00:02:54.340 If that answer is to save my country, this country will be saved.
00:03:00.700 War Room.
00:03:01.560 Here's your host, Stephen K. Bannon.
00:03:03.940 It's Tuesday, 6th of February, 6th of January, excuse me, February, in the Overlord, 2024.
00:03:15.840 Historic day for the first time, I think since 1876.
00:03:19.820 We're about to have an impeachment vote on a sitting cabinet member.
00:03:23.600 The last one was Secretary Belknap, the Secretary of War back, what, over 150 years ago.
00:03:30.900 We now have the MAGA extremist, the intellectual and legislative force behind this impeachment.
00:03:37.600 Marjorie Taylor Greene joins us.
00:03:39.840 Why is a congressman, why is he so worked up?
00:03:42.760 You really took some beating today.
00:03:44.740 In fact, the Democrats, instead of a defense of Mayorkas, they really, in this debate that took place this afternoon, really went after you harder than defending Mayorkas.
00:03:55.280 Why was that, ma'am?
00:03:56.680 That's right, Steve.
00:03:57.620 I've been the Democrat punching bag.
00:04:00.140 Well, it's kind of been that way since I became a member of Congress, but especially through our debates in impeachment of Secretary Mayorkas.
00:04:07.320 They would rather defend the man that has caused our country to be invaded by over 10 million illegal aliens with nearly 2 million gotaways.
00:04:16.160 Among them, we don't know how many are terrorists that could actually carry out a terrorist attack here in the interior of our United States.
00:04:26.060 Murder of Americans every single day.
00:04:28.340 Rape, crime statistics like you've never seen before.
00:04:31.360 300 Americans murdered every single day by fentanyl, trafficked across the country.
00:04:35.340 They would rather defend the man that has caused that to happen to the American people than actually agree with me.
00:04:43.640 They defend him and attack me all day long and attack President Trump.
00:04:47.920 You're hearing it.
00:04:49.000 You're seeing it.
00:04:50.000 It's in every single one of their speeches, and it's outrageous.
00:04:53.080 But the American people are seeing it as well, Steve.
00:04:56.420 They know the facts.
00:04:57.620 They know the numbers, and that's why this is the number one issue across America.
00:05:01.760 This is why Democrats are losing poll after poll.
00:05:04.340 This is why Trump is beating Biden poll after poll.
00:05:07.260 And this is why President Trump will be back in the White House again after we get through this election.
00:05:11.620 Here's the question.
00:05:16.660 Did you schedule this?
00:05:17.660 I mean, the timing is exquisite.
00:05:19.440 They just dropped this border bill after five months or four and a half months of secret negotiations.
00:05:24.800 When you read the text, as you had warned us, they make Mayorkas in the bill the emperor.
00:05:31.360 And so 12 hours later, 24 hours later, you're impeaching the emperor.
00:05:35.660 How did that timing work out?
00:05:37.840 I didn't control the timing there, Steve.
00:05:40.460 I just forced impeachment of Secretary Mayorkas and started that process back in November when I brought my impeachment into a privileged resolution on the House floor, forcing the House to make this vote.
00:05:52.820 Thankfully, Chairman Mark Green of the Homeland Committee took up my articles of impeachment after they were moved into Homeland Security Committee, and we actually moved them through.
00:06:02.860 And it's because on Homeland, we know the stories.
00:06:06.860 We've had witness after witness, parent after parent grieving over losing a child, grieving over another family member.
00:06:13.480 We've had Border Patrol agents come and tell us how horribly they've been treated.
00:06:18.100 We've had ranchers, property owners along the border come and tell us about the daily invasion and how they're not safe on their own land and their own homes.
00:06:26.340 And we've had Secretary Mayorkas himself come and lie to our faces and lie to Congress as he claims the border is safe and the border is secure.
00:06:36.380 But yet we have the proof that he has broken federal immigration law over and over and over with the mass parole of illegal aliens by the millions in the United States.
00:06:46.920 The timing is perfect, Steve, and you called it exactly correctly.
00:06:50.680 That Senate border surrender bill would make Mayorkas the emperor.
00:06:54.900 It would give him the full power of a legalized invasion.
00:06:59.340 And that's why we have to impeach Secretary Mayorkas and totally put a stake in the heart of the Senate border bill that is nothing but a surrender and that we can never allow to happen.
00:07:10.580 And that's why it's dead on arrival in the House.
00:07:14.500 Just so people understand this, when they go to the floor for this historic vote that has not happened since 1876, what are actually the two elements that you're bringing up?
00:07:23.760 I want to give you a chance for a couple of minutes.
00:07:26.300 Just explain what you are impeaching Mayorkas about.
00:07:29.940 We are impeaching him for violating his oath of office.
00:07:33.980 All of us swear an oath of office to uphold the laws of the United States.
00:07:38.700 Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas has totally broken his promise to the American people and violated his oath of office because through his office, he has actually broken federal immigration laws.
00:07:51.900 And that's the other part of our articles of impeachment.
00:07:55.460 Secretary Mayorkas has mass paroled millions of people into the interior of the United States.
00:08:02.900 He's not using ICE detention facilities.
00:08:05.620 He's not filling the beds in the ICE detention facilities.
00:08:09.240 As a matter of fact, I'll give you an example.
00:08:11.060 There's one facility in California that has 2,000 beds available for him to fill with these illegal aliens that are claiming and awaiting amnesty.
00:08:22.900 But yet he's releasing them into the United States.
00:08:26.080 Only six out of 2,000 beds is actually being used right now.
00:08:30.680 It has six illegal aliens.
00:08:32.400 While all of these illegal aliens are being mass released and they're filling up hotel rooms in New York City, they're filling up schools here in our country where children can't even go to school.
00:08:44.180 And Americans are being forced to pay for it.
00:08:46.420 He's broken law after law after law.
00:08:49.020 We have six pages in our articles of impeachment detailing every single law that Secretary Mayorkas has broken.
00:08:55.740 And this is why I am urging every single one of my colleagues to vote yes to impeach Mayorkas.
00:09:02.960 It's the most important thing we can do right now in the House of Representatives.
00:09:08.800 Okay, because of retirements and other things, you've got a very small majority right now.
00:09:13.120 You're on a knife's edge.
00:09:14.340 As you see this vote coming forward, are you going to win this?
00:09:17.880 You've worked for this for two years.
00:09:19.840 You've been the driving force in making this happen.
00:09:21.740 You're now 20 minutes away from having this historic vote.
00:09:25.400 Has not happened since 1876.
00:09:28.360 Art, do you believe you can win this?
00:09:30.980 You're right, Steve.
00:09:32.060 We have an extremely slim majority.
00:09:35.700 And we have been appealing to our colleagues.
00:09:38.400 Currently right now, Ken Buck from Colorado, who is retiring and not seeking re-election, has come out publicly and said he is a no vote.
00:09:47.100 He says he will not vote for the impeachment of Secretary Mayorkas.
00:09:50.620 The thing about Ken Buck is he could do the right thing, and he could take a walk.
00:09:55.360 He doesn't even have to vote.
00:09:57.080 He can wash his hands of it and say he refuses to participate, instead of actually joining and holding hands with the Democrats and voting no.
00:10:05.420 That's absolutely the wrong thing for him to do.
00:10:07.860 It's the wrong thing for him to do to the country.
00:10:10.480 Another member of the House who's come out and said that he may be a no vote is Tom McClintock.
00:10:16.480 Tom McClintock from California has a red Republican district.
00:10:20.040 And the state of California has had the invasion, perhaps maybe the worst of all 50 of our states.
00:10:27.520 Here's the issue with Tom McClintock.
00:10:29.580 He is claiming the Constitution and calling himself a constitutionalist when it comes to the vote on impeachment.
00:10:36.240 I would urge Tom McClintock, if he cares about the Constitution, use the power that the founders gave us, which is a tool.
00:10:45.040 It's impeachment.
00:10:46.380 Impeachment is firing and removal of a secretary, cabinet, of a vice president or a president, officeholder.
00:10:54.540 When these people are violating their oath of office or actually breaking federal law.
00:11:00.020 We know that Secretary Mayorkas has broken federal law.
00:11:03.260 We know that he has violated his oath of office.
00:11:05.920 And anyone that calls himself a constitutionalist should actually use the power of impeachment that the people, the American people, are urging them to do and actually vote yes to impeach Secretary Mayorkas.
00:11:19.280 And, again, this is a simple thing.
00:11:22.020 If they do not want to be involved in this, they can take a walk.
00:11:25.600 They don't have to vote.
00:11:26.780 They don't have to vote no.
00:11:28.260 They can just vote present.
00:11:30.660 That is something that members of Congress can actually do.
00:11:34.560 We can only lose two votes, Steve.
00:11:36.460 We can't lose more than that.
00:11:38.060 And I'll just pray for God's mercy on any Republican that becomes a third no vote.
00:11:42.900 Do you believe that your impeachment hearings have been put in this front and center about Mayorkas and not implementing the laws that are on the books had a big impact in the complete crater in the Senate?
00:11:58.420 We now know that the Republicans are not going to vote tomorrow to move it forward.
00:12:01.440 Do you believe this helped take down the invasion authorization bill?
00:12:06.360 I do.
00:12:07.060 I believe it was a part of the major momentum that has caused the Senate border surrender bill to come to a crashing halt.
00:12:14.940 I would also say it was members like myself that were strong-nosed coming out in the very beginning.
00:12:20.500 I even threatened Speaker Johnson that I would vacate the chair if he brought this bill to the floor.
00:12:25.900 I made that threat weeks ago because I was so serious about it and had heard how horrific that Senate border bill would be.
00:12:33.000 But I'm thrilled with Speaker Johnson today and I'm thrilled with our entire leadership here in the House because they stood so strong together and said that this bill was absolutely dead on arrival in the House.
00:12:47.920 And I'm really grateful for that.
00:12:49.480 That's the kind of Republican conference I want to be in.
00:12:52.060 We passed H.R. 2, Steve, the strongest border security bill filled with all of President Trump's strong border security policies that we know worked in the Trump administration.
00:13:03.420 And we even added more to them.
00:13:05.480 If Democrats, if any Republican senator cares about border security like they claim they suddenly care now, they would pick up H.R. 2.
00:13:15.460 They would pass it immediately and Joe Biden would sign it into law.
00:13:20.240 That's what should be happening right now.
00:13:22.680 But they don't want to have anything to do with H.R. 2.
00:13:25.340 They're trying to wash their hands of it.
00:13:27.180 They're defending Secretary Mayorkas, who is violating his oath, breaking federal immigration law.
00:13:33.400 And they are standing with these so-called policies of murder and mayhem in America because of a full-on border invasion.
00:13:43.780 Congressman, we know you've got to bounce.
00:13:45.600 What's the social media?
00:13:46.520 Where should people go on your website to follow this historic event today?
00:13:50.240 Well, people can follow on any of my social media at RepMTG or at MTGreenE with two E's on the end.
00:13:58.980 We'll keep everyone posted, but I think you'll see it best right here on War Room because I know, Steve, you'll be showing everyone what's happening.
00:14:08.280 Congressman Green, thank you for joining us.
00:14:09.980 Good luck today.
00:14:10.760 Go with God.
00:14:11.980 Godspeed.
00:14:13.260 Thank you.
00:14:13.880 She asked for God's mercy on any Republican that didn't vote for that.
00:14:20.500 There will be quite a firestorm.
00:14:22.040 A lot of work has gone into this.
00:14:24.080 The historic impeachment of Secretary of DHS, Department of Homeland Security, that was in charge of the border made the Senate bill a complete laughingstock because the bill made him the emperor.
00:14:36.180 And, of course, he hadn't really implemented or executed the laws in the books.
00:14:41.120 Short commercial break.
00:14:42.800 Historic day in the nation's capital and here in the war room.
00:14:46.260 As we head toward a presidential election in November, one thing you can be sure of, 2024 will be a tumultuous year like no other.

00:16:12.320 Take action.
00:16:13.540 Text Bannon at 989898.
00:16:16.600 Action.
00:16:17.360 Action.
00:16:18.120 Action.
00:16:18.840 Version of, this is novel.
00:16:20.960 The court seems to have agreed with you.
00:16:22.560 Yes, I think you misspoke the D.C. circuit, but yes.
00:16:27.500 I'm sorry.
00:16:27.780 Yes, thank you.
00:16:29.580 I'm going to actually borrow a page from my colleague, former Senator Claire McCaskill, because I think we all understood that this decision was going to come out this way.
00:16:44.340 As you said, Ali, the argument was so outlandish that we knew that this would be a decision against Donald Trump.
00:16:54.900 But I do think that this is a place where the legal ruling is so sweeping and so resounding and unanimous and clear in its upholding.
00:17:08.000 And what it means to be a country governed by the rule of law that there really, I think, is an important political aspect to how this should be used.
00:17:20.680 Because you have somebody who is running for the presidency as to whom a unanimous court of judges made up of people appointed by both Republicans and Democrats, where the court said the following.
00:17:35.320 At bottom, former President Trump's stance would collapse our system of separated powers by placing the president beyond the reach of all three branches.
00:17:47.340 He would be beyond the reach of Congress.
00:17:51.420 He would be on the reach of the executive branch and the judiciary.
00:17:57.080 So to there, I think that the message to the American public is, yes, he is not immune from criminal prosecution.
00:18:05.320 But are you really going to say that this is somebody who you want to see in the White House again,
00:18:14.120 who is taking this position where the judiciary has made it absolutely clear that his position has no place in our constitutional democracy, no place at all.
00:18:27.540 This is really a resounding victory, not just for the prosecution team, not just for Judge Chutkin, the trial judge.
00:18:37.320 But I think for all Americans of whatever political persuasions in terms of what it means to be a citizen in this country.
00:18:46.400 Okay, we're going to have the two of the smartest guys about this.
00:18:51.840 Mike Davis is going to join us in the next hour.
00:18:54.120 We've got Boris by phone now.
00:18:55.620 Boris Epstein, walk me through this.
00:18:58.740 Walk me through basically what happened today.
00:19:01.540 The audience has been following this in the 14th minute.
00:19:03.580 This is the immunity case.
00:19:05.340 This is the one that they are trying to fast track because they understand by the polling,
00:19:09.680 President Trump wins in a landslide.
00:19:11.520 So this is really the tip of the spear of the lawfare.
00:19:13.660 This is the Jack Smith, January 6th trial.
00:19:17.100 Tell us, just explain to us exactly what happened.
00:19:20.300 Steve, thanks for having me.
00:19:21.740 I'm honored to be with you.
00:19:22.500 I'm honored to be with the policy.
00:19:23.580 What happened is exactly what was expected.
00:19:25.680 It actually expected weeks ago.
00:19:27.820 You had the left completely freaking out.
00:19:30.200 Neil Katyal, Weissman, freaking out that the decision that the D.C. District Court was taking so long from the panel
00:19:36.620 and the panel made up of two Biden appointees and one George H.W. Bush appointee.
00:19:42.580 They ruled as everyone thought they would, wrongfully, on immunity.
00:19:48.260 And if this ruling is allowed to stand, we're not going to have a presidency in this country
00:19:51.620 because every president is going to be absolutely debilitated because they're going to be worried
00:19:56.040 that their political opponents are going to wrongfully attack them and wrongfully indict them,
00:20:02.860 just like it has happened with President Trump.
00:20:05.120 So this decision cannot stand.
00:20:06.660 President Trump and his team are going to fight the decision, and it was fully and absolutely expected.
00:20:12.040 And now it's all to the next steps in order to make sure that the presidency is saved and America is saved.
00:20:21.280 Talk to us about – that's your favorite guy, Andrew Weissman.
00:20:24.680 He's having a field day with this.
00:20:25.920 You should know that MSNBC has canceled all of the programming.
00:20:28.860 They haven't mentioned the impeachment of Mayorkas.
00:20:31.600 They haven't mentioned the cratering of the invasion bill.
00:20:36.480 They haven't mentioned McConnell on the ropes.
00:20:38.560 They haven't mentioned any of this.
00:20:39.440 It's all this nonstop.
00:20:41.860 Is Weissman correct?
00:20:42.740 Was this such a devastating, in-your-face ruling, unanimous ruling,
00:20:49.180 and particularly when they said what President Trump's arguing would lead to a collapse of our entire political system?
00:20:55.860 Is this going to turn into fodder for the politics and try to close the gap between Biden and Trump?
00:21:02.600 That's a complete and total joke because the system they're talking about,
00:21:06.560 where presidents are not indicted by their successors, is the system we live in, right?
00:21:11.900 For 234 years of the republic, we did not have a situation where a corrupt successor,
00:21:18.640 a legitimate successor in this case, indicts his or her predecessor.
00:21:23.660 That's only happening under crooked Joe Biden.
00:21:25.800 So all this hysteria, all the pearl clutching is absolutely misplaced.
00:21:30.380 And is Andrew Weissman correct?
00:21:31.860 No, he hasn't been correct in anything in his career.
00:21:34.000 He's been wrong on literally everything from Enron on down.
00:21:37.000 Also was involved in other embarrassing defeats in the Supreme Court.
00:21:41.900 Just like the special counsel, Jack Smith.
00:21:44.200 So if you look at the reality here, this was the panel in the D.C. district court,
00:21:49.300 the lowest court of appeals that's going to be looking at this issue.
00:21:53.540 It was an absolutely expected decision.
00:21:56.160 It was an absolutely expected, wrongful decision.
00:21:58.920 And now it'll go up, go up on appeal.
00:22:01.640 And the Supreme Court already nine to nothing once ruled that they are not going to short circuit the process for reviewing this issue.
00:22:08.700 And they've already granted certiorari on the Fisher case, the other January 6th case regarding obstruction and intent.
00:22:14.680 So the Supreme Court is looking at this strongly.
00:22:17.880 They've approached it correctly so far in not allowing Jack Smith, crooked Joe Biden, others to short circuit the process, the short circuit, the Constitution, due process, etc.
00:22:29.400 And, you know, we are confident that they will continue to do that here because, again, as President Trump has stated time and time again,
00:22:37.400 if you don't have immunity, you don't have a presidency because without immunity, every president is going to be looking over their shoulder
00:22:43.520 and you will materially destroy the United States and thus destroy the country and our Constitution at its very base.
00:22:54.680 Is this going to go – it's kind of confusing.
00:22:56.480 I've got Mike Davis who's going to be able to spend a little more time with us in the next hour to go through it.
00:23:00.300 But I'm confused about – did they limit the ability to you guys to go en banc, to go to the entire panel of the appellate court?
00:23:09.400 Or do you have to go directly to the Supreme Court?
00:23:11.960 Are they forcing you to go directly to the Supreme Court because they want to quick march this?
00:23:15.680 They are trying to quick march it, no doubt about it, as was expected.
00:23:18.880 But what they're stating is that we have to go to the Supreme Court in the next six days for a stay of the mandate,
00:23:26.480 meaning for the mandate not to return down to Judge Chuckkin down in the D.C. district court.
00:23:32.500 So that's absolutely expected.
00:23:35.940 We knew that we were going to try to do that.
00:23:37.520 And it's just another gambit, just like the one that Jack Smith attempted where he was defeated nine to nothing about a month and a half ago.
00:23:45.780 So we are confident that the right process is going to be followed, the fair process is going to be followed.
00:23:51.460 So we'll go to the Supreme Court, and then from there seek to go en banc first,
00:23:57.160 and then if need be go back up to the Supreme Court on the actual substance of the issue.
00:24:02.420 And again, the issue is the very survival of the presidency and of the republic.
00:24:07.520 Last thing, Boris, I know it's a historic week for the president and you, what the legal team is going through.
00:24:13.380 Did you ever think when you were at Georgetown Law School and one week you would have a D.C. appellate court
00:24:18.800 talking about immunity that you're overseeing and then at the same time, a couple days later,
00:24:24.560 actually have a historic hearing and argument about the 14th Amendment,
00:24:28.560 but actually taking someone off a ballot so that people can't have the opportunity to vote for him?
00:24:34.480 Steve, unfortunately, all I can tell you is that I, in some ways, did foresee it because this is what my family ran away from in the former Soviet Union.
00:24:41.920 It could be a breakdown of all guardrails, a breakdown of all systems, a breakdown of lawfulness, a breakdown of systems of justice.
00:24:53.700 Right now, we do not have a fair system of justice in this country.
00:24:57.100 You saw in this opinion they're trying to talk, but just this only applies to President Trump
00:25:01.160 because they are obsessed on doing anything they can to prevent President Trump from running and winning office,
00:25:09.040 which is exactly what he's going to do.
00:25:10.920 He's going to continue to run. He's going to win.
00:25:13.120 He's going to be back in the Oval Office on Jan 20, 2025, to save our country and to make America great again,
00:25:19.580 which is not a slogan. It is an action item.
00:25:22.060 So what is happening right now is reminiscent of, obviously, the Soviet Union, Germany, Venezuela.
00:25:27.360 Now, which, of course, Joe Biden is fighting for ballot rights for opponents in Venezuela,
00:25:33.400 but while opposing ballot rights here, complete hypocrisy from somebody who has been a lifelong hypocrite in Joe Biden and his crime family.
00:25:41.340 What President Trump is doing is fighting for our Constitution, fighting for the presidency, fighting for America.
00:25:47.380 It's a righteous fight, a one that he will absolutely win.
00:25:52.680 Boris, make sure we talk to the president a little bit later.
00:25:54.980 I know he hasn't had the opportunity to follow it all day, and I know you have, and you've been too busy,
00:25:59.120 but we've been monitoring CNN and MSNBC.
00:26:01.340 I can tell you, I've never seen MSNBC in such a fury, such a tizzy.
00:26:08.600 They're all over. This is all they're covering right now, the immunity case, because of the ruling.
00:26:12.960 So the Trump derangement syndrome is up in high dungeon there right now
00:26:18.360 because they understand the only way they're going to beat President Trump is through lawfare.
00:26:22.300 Boris, what's your social media?
00:26:24.980 See, they're transparent, they're pathetic, and they're evil, and they're not even hiding anymore, right?
00:26:29.840 They're saying the quiet part out loud that they cannot beat President Trump.
00:26:33.700 They cannot beat MAGA, cannot beat the war on policy.
00:26:36.140 They're trying to use lawfare to do it, and they will fail.
00:26:38.600 My information on the website is hotborrscp.com.
00:26:40.920 Stand up right now, borrscp.com.
00:26:42.720 Hot on getter at Boris CP.
00:26:43.940 Twitter at Boris CP.
00:26:45.080 Hot on socials at Boris on the hottest on the gram.
00:26:47.220 Boris on the square website.
00:26:48.260 Stay strong. God bless, and I'll talk to you soon.
00:26:50.400 Okay, Boris, thank you so much.
00:26:55.060 There are decades in which nothing happened, and weeks in which decades happened.
00:27:00.320 We're in one of that.
00:27:01.280 I mean, there's 10 stories that would be—that would take up all your time.
00:27:07.240 There are 20 stories.
00:27:08.240 It's just unbelievable.
00:27:09.780 So two big things.
00:27:10.600 The immunity appellate decision came down.
00:27:13.240 They're immediately going to work.
00:27:14.280 We're going to have Mike Davis on later to go through in more details on that.
00:27:19.200 Also, this historic impeachment vote.
00:27:21.100 We're trying to get the exact time.
00:27:22.280 I think it's supposed to start at 530.
00:27:24.020 We'll make sure we're on top of it.
00:27:26.120 You talk about turbulence.
00:27:27.820 Just heard it right there.
00:27:29.180 And you're seeing it break down everywhere.
00:27:30.920 You've got to read these opinions from the justices.
00:27:33.560 It's absolutely outrageous.
00:27:35.560 In times of turbulence, I would love to tell you turbulence is going to get less.
00:27:39.220 So it's not going to happen.
00:27:40.420 It's going to get more turbulent.
00:27:41.920 We are heading into a fourth turning like you've never seen before, like America's never seen before.
00:27:47.000 What do you need to do about it?
00:27:48.160 Well, first off, personally and as your family, you need to batten down the hatches.
00:27:52.980 One way you do that is find out about precious metals, gold and silver.
00:27:56.520 Where do you do that birch gold?
00:27:58.540 Birchgold.com slash Bannon.

00:28:06.940 And find out why gold has been a hedge against times of turbulence for only 5,000 years of mankind's history.
00:28:13.640 Back in the war room on a historic day in a moment.
00:28:18.280 Question, who protects the troops who protect us?
00:28:22.700 Well, we will.
00:28:25.000 Imagine you're serving halfway around the world and you learn the title to your home.
00:28:29.940 That legal document that proves it's actually yours has been forged and it's not in your name anymore.
00:28:37.300 But we can't let that happen and we won't let it happen.
00:28:40.800 Home title theft is a clear and present danger for all homeowners.
00:28:44.800 And that's why I trust Home Title Lock.

00:29:36.580 Do this for the troops.
00:29:38.400 Do it today.
00:29:39.500 Use your agency.
00:29:41.220 I'm from Illinois, always recognized.
00:29:42.380 Mr. Speaker, Israel is fighting an existential war against Hamas, a death cult dedicated to the genocide of Jews
00:29:50.220 and the annihilation of the Jewish state, while also being attacked by Hezbollah, the IRGC and Iranian proxies, and Houthis.
00:29:58.620 There is no question that the United States must support our ally Israel.
00:30:03.420 But to my colleagues, I say it is folly to think that what is happening now in the Middle East
00:30:08.760 is not connected to what is happening concurrently in Ukraine.
00:30:13.560 If Ukraine falls, the aid we're providing Israel in this bill is only going to be a small down payment
00:30:20.080 to what will be needed when Israel faces a strengthened Hezbollah, backed by an emboldened Iran,
00:30:25.840 encouraged by a newly empowered Russia.
00:30:27.760 And the United States will likely need to spend billions of additional dollars
00:30:32.580 stationing more U.S. troops alongside our NATO allies in Europe.
00:30:36.880 We are selling ourselves and our allies short by not taking the responsibility of leadership this country should be taking.
00:30:44.820 And if we don't continue, it's going to cost our kids and our kids' future.
00:30:49.280 It is shameful that the Republicans and Speaker Johnson are using our most important ally Israel as a political cudgel.
00:30:56.580 It threatens not only Israel's security, but America's security and our children's future.
00:31:01.840 I yield back.
00:31:03.240 Gentle lady from Connecticut Reserves, gentleman from California is recognized.
00:31:07.720 I am pleased to recognize the gentleman from the House.
00:31:10.400 We're going to go back to the floor of the House.
00:31:12.360 Mr. Chairman, thank you, Mr. Speaker.
00:31:13.660 I would remind my colleague that, in fact, I agree with him for one time.
00:31:17.540 These events are connected, and the connection is the incredibly strategic amount of strategic weakness
00:31:22.760 the Biden administration has shown.
00:31:24.340 That's why Putin invaded Ukraine, and that's why Hamas has gone crazy in Israel.
00:31:30.000 Immediately following the attacks of October 7th, I went to Israel and I witnessed what Hamas did to the Jewish people.
00:31:36.780 And as a retired Navy SEAL combat medic, it put me on my heels.
00:31:40.560 And I will remind my colleagues on the other side of the aisle that there was a ceasefire on October 6th,
00:31:47.620 that there was a de facto two-party, two-state solution on October 6th, and that was broken by Hamas.
00:31:54.340 And unlike the vast majority of my colleagues on the other side of the aisle,
00:31:58.460 I spent my entire adult life either training for, training others for, or at war myself.
00:32:04.820 So, there is a difference between the conflict in Ukraine and what's taking place in Israel right now.
00:32:15.640 Vladimir Putin is a war criminal, and he is after territorial gains.
00:32:19.780 Hamas is a group of savages that are after the utter destruction of the Jews as a people.
00:32:25.740 They want to eradicate them.
00:32:28.560 And there are members of the other party who have been censured, member of the other party that's been censured,
00:32:34.620 on this floor for grossly anti-Semitic remarks, and that's what's taking place.
00:32:39.560 Do not be fooled by this political rhetoric.
00:32:42.820 I stand with the Jewish people now.
00:32:47.400 I will stand with them from the beginning to the end, so the river to the sea never takes place.
00:32:53.420 And with that, Mr. Speaker, I yield back my time.
00:32:56.640 Gentleman from California Reserves, gentlelady from Connecticut is recognized.
00:32:59.760 Mr. Speaker, I yield one minute to the gentleman from California, Mr. Connell.
00:33:03.760 Gentleman is recognized.
00:33:04.700 Thank you, Mr. Speaker.
00:33:05.560 Mr. Speaker, I will vote no today on the $17 billion aid package, which provides a blank check to Netanyahu, Ben Gavir, and the extreme right-wing government in Israel.
00:33:15.520 How dare Ben Gavir, Israel's national security minister, have the goal to criticize America while calling for the mass expulsion of Palestinians?
00:33:25.780 I will vote no because this bill includes zero humanitarian aid while children are dying and 400,000 Gazans face famine.
00:33:34.440 I will vote no because this bill undermines human rights and international law, ignoring the recent ICJ decision calling on Israel to do more to protect Palestinian civilians.
00:33:47.420 I will vote no because it is painfully obvious to the entire world that what is needed today is a permanent ceasefire and a release of all hostages.
00:33:59.060 There come moments in the nation's history when our actions reveal our values.
00:34:03.620 This is such a moment.
00:34:06.200 We must stand for stopping the bombing, for ending this brutal war, and for justice in the Middle East with a Palestinian state with equal rights living side-by-side with Israel.
00:34:17.340 Gentleman from Connecticut, Reserves.
00:34:19.120 Gentleman from California is recognized.
00:34:20.720 Mr. Speaker, I reserve the balance of my time.
00:34:23.100 Gentleman, Reserves.
00:34:23.800 Gentleman from Connecticut is recognized.
00:34:32.700 I yield one minute to the gentlewoman from New York, Ms. Ocasio-Cortez.
00:34:36.760 Gentleman, ladies, recognized.
00:34:37.760 I thank the chair.
00:34:38.460 Mr. Speaker, more than 1,200 Israelis were killed on October 7th, and 136 remain hostage.
00:34:45.680 In response, 27,478 Palestinians have been killed, 70% of whom are women and children.
00:34:56.740 And most Gazans today cannot reach a fully functioning hospital.
00:35:01.420 This is not war.
00:35:03.680 This is slaughter.
00:35:04.760 And yet, after all this destruction and devastation, the Netanyahu government is still nowhere close to their stated objective of destroying Hamas.
00:35:15.140 Moreover, the United States has our own requirements outlawing the transfer of weapons to forces engaged in gross human rights violations.
00:35:24.040 We have a responsibility to honor those laws, to facilitate a bilateral ceasefire, to move to end this campaign of mass casualty and loss of life that risk bringing the entire region closer to a wider, deadlier conflict.
00:35:40.100 This bill contains $17 billion on top of the billions we already transfer.
00:35:45.020 Every year, with no conditions and no humanitarian aid for the most vulnerable, everyday Americans should not tolerate this squandering of our resources
00:35:53.580 without oversight on such an inhumane and ineffective operation, especially when we are living paycheck to paycheck,
00:36:00.380 and they cannot see their Congress address their most basic material concerns.
00:36:05.140 I yield back.
00:36:06.420 Gentle lady from Connecticut, reserves.
00:36:08.140 Gentleman from California is recognized.
00:36:09.660 Mr. Speaker, I reserve the bounce of my time.
00:36:11.700 Gentleman reserves.
00:36:12.440 Gentle lady from Connecticut is recognized.
00:36:14.480 Mr. Speaker, I yield one minute to the general woman from Michigan, Ms. Tlaib.
00:36:19.040 Gentle lady is recognized.
00:36:20.180 Here we go again.
00:36:21.080 Sending $17.6 billion U.S. tax dollars with no conditions attached to Netanyahu's extremist government to drop more bombs on innocent Palestinians.
00:36:33.240 The Israeli government has already killed 27,000 people.
00:36:36.380 11,500 of them were children.
00:36:39.720 I'm tired of my colleagues coming to me whispering.
00:36:42.460 I don't really like Netanyahu.
00:36:44.540 Well, then why are we sending him billions of dollars with no conditions?
00:36:47.240 He literally is telling us over and over again what his intention is.
00:36:52.200 I'm tired of my colleagues coming and whispering to me, Rashida, I support two-state solution.
00:36:56.780 Great.
00:36:57.500 Then send money that conditions for a two-state solution because Netanyahu has over and over again told us he never wants to see a Palestinian state.
00:37:06.840 So I'm tired.
00:37:07.880 I oppose Netanyahu's war crimes and want him gone too.
00:37:11.700 But many of my colleagues that continue to tell me that do not want to condition the aid.
00:37:16.580 They give it to a genocidal maniac.
00:37:19.240 My message to my colleagues is simple.
00:37:22.100 If you don't support Netanyahu, if you're disgusted by the countless videos of lifeless children pulled out of the rubble,
00:37:28.520 if you actually believe in upholding human rights and international law, vote no on a blank check to Netanyahu's genocide.
00:37:35.660 Gentle lady's time is expired.
00:37:37.920 Thank you.
00:37:39.060 Gentle lady from Connecticut, Reserves, gentleman from California is recognized.
00:37:44.220 I would say the folks that believe in genocide is Hamas.
00:37:48.340 I yield to the gentleman from Florida, the chairman of the state and foreign operations subcommittee, Mr. Diaz-Bollard, two and a half minutes.
00:37:55.060 Gentleman is recognized.
00:37:55.980 Mr. Speaker, thank you.
00:37:56.860 Let me first thank the gentleman from California, Chairman Calvert, for his leadership in drafting this critical bill,
00:38:03.140 along with the chairwoman Kay Granger and the leadership for bringing this forward.
00:38:08.600 As Mr. Calvert just said, yes, there has been genocide, but the genocide has been from Hamas, from Hamas.
00:38:16.120 And if the world needed yet another reminder of the importance of Israel as a safe haven for the Jewish people,
00:38:22.080 then the attacks of October 7th should be that wake-up call.
00:38:28.140 This is not that complicated.
00:38:30.080 I've been disgusted and shocked by some of the things that we've been hearing.
00:38:33.140 Including the sheer glee and displayed in celebrations across, even in this country,
00:38:39.320 because of the murders of October.
00:38:44.420 And remember, those grotesque celebrations and demonstrations happened before Israel even began
00:38:50.420 its military action to defend Israelis, again in Gaza.
00:38:54.740 So let's be clear.
00:38:56.360 Those demonstrations, those statements, those celebrations were and are in favor of the terrorist group Hamas.
00:39:06.020 The despicable anti-Semitism, which has been dramatically increased since October 7th,
00:39:10.900 that we've even seen here sometimes on this floor, has to be condemned and has to stop.
00:39:17.100 Israel is on the front line in the battle against terrorism.
00:39:21.620 The terrorism of Hamas, Hezbollah, ISIS, you name it, and all of those,
00:39:28.980 they continue to await for an opportunity to strike at Israel, as they have,
00:39:33.280 just like they want to strike here to the American people of the United States.
00:39:38.620 Israel and the United States do not want violence.
00:39:41.300 But the problem is that the terrorists do, and they are the ones who have killed and butchered
00:39:47.480 and maimed innocent Israelis.
00:39:49.800 Again, last November, the House passed another Israel Security Supplemental,
00:39:53.440 which was fully offset by a rescission of the IRS funding.
00:39:58.480 And that was the reason why the White House claimed that they opposed that bill.
00:40:02.940 Well, now there are zero excuses to oppose this bill.
00:40:07.020 This bill does one thing, Mr. Speaker, it provides urgently needed funding for our friend and ally Israel
00:40:12.580 to defeat the terrorists that they are dealing with.
00:40:16.340 The United States must stand with Israel.
00:40:19.280 And to eradicate terrorism, this is not that complicated.
00:40:24.720 You can use every excuse in the world to, and again, with the purpose of supporting Hamas
00:40:29.880 and justifying the murderers.
00:40:31.700 This bill stands with Israel, no ifs, no ands, no buts.
00:40:36.320 I'm grateful to Chairman Calvert for bringing this important piece of legislation,
00:40:41.040 and I wholeheartedly support it.
00:40:43.060 I yield back.
00:40:44.000 Gentleman from California Reserves, gentlelady from Connecticut is recognized.
00:40:47.100 Mr. Speaker, I yield one minute to the generalwoman from California,
00:40:50.280 the distinguished ranking member of the State and Foreign Operations Subcommittee, Ms. Lee.
00:40:55.140 Gentlelady is recognized.
00:40:56.300 Thank you very much.
00:40:56.960 I want to thank the gentlelady for yielding and for her strong, strong leadership.
00:41:02.680 Mr. Speaker, I rise to oppose HR 7217.
00:41:06.440 The United States and the world are facing a very dangerous time,
00:41:10.920 with the risk of being pulled deeper and deeper into conflicts across the globe.
00:41:17.120 Meanwhile, millions of people around the world are facing violence, dislocation, and hunger.
00:41:23.120 This bill really is not a serious effort.
00:41:26.860 As the ranking member of the State and Foreign Operations Subcommittee,
00:41:30.360 I cannot support a bill that fails to meet the challenges of this moment
00:41:34.500 and abandons those most in need of humanitarian assistance.
00:41:40.780 And, yes, this bill undermines the United States policy, which supports a two-state solution.
00:41:48.800 This bill is a blatant political stunt that is dead on arrival in the Senate.
00:41:55.160 And so I urge my colleagues to oppose it.
00:41:57.920 Thank you, and I yield the balance of my time.
00:42:00.060 Gentlelady from Connecticut, Reserves.
00:42:01.820 Yes.
00:42:02.980 Gentleman from California is recognized.
00:42:05.400 May I inquire how much time is left?
00:42:08.900 Both sides.
00:42:09.800 Gentleman from California has 30 seconds.
00:42:12.640 Gentlelady from Connecticut has two minutes.
00:42:15.120 Mr. Speaker, who has the right to close?
00:42:19.520 Reserve the right to close.
00:42:20.780 Gentleman from Connecticut?
00:42:23.000 Yes.
00:42:23.440 Reserve.
00:42:24.040 I'm prepared to close.
00:42:25.020 Gentleman from California, Reserve.
00:42:26.160 Gentleman from Connecticut is recognized.
00:42:28.180 Okay.
00:42:28.780 Thank you.
00:42:31.140 A short while ago, my colleague from Arkansas said it is our solemn duty to protect our allies.
00:42:36.820 Indeed, it is our solemn duty to protect our allies.
00:42:40.640 Our allies, in this case, are Israel, yes.
00:42:43.300 And we support Israel.
00:42:45.340 Our ally is Ukraine, and we need to continue to support Ukraine.
00:42:50.020 Our ally is Taiwan, and we need to support Taiwan.
00:42:54.020 We have a solemn duty, yes, to provide humanitarian assistance to innocent civilians.
00:43:01.400 We have a solemn duty to protect our border.
00:43:04.560 These are not the issues that are part of this bill.
00:43:08.460 This bill does not meet those solemn obligations.
00:43:12.240 My Republican colleagues do not want to help Ukraine or the Indo-Pacific and Taiwan.
00:43:19.560 They do not want to address border security.
00:43:23.340 It is a—they talked about border security as being the key to opening up the door to foreign
00:43:29.720 assistance.
00:43:30.300 They said it in the White House.
00:43:31.680 The Speaker did that and now has walked away from it.
00:43:34.740 It is really a political sham.
00:43:36.780 They are—they do not want to promote humanitarian assistance and leave millions of innocent civilians
00:43:46.920 without food, shelter, clothing.
00:43:49.660 In a conversation with the director of the World Food Organization, Cynthia McCain, she said,
00:43:57.080 and I asked about Gaza.
00:43:58.360 She said to me, Rosa, these people are starving.
00:44:01.320 It is a famine.
00:44:02.780 And I believe that it is as well in this process of providing assistance to just Israel and not
00:44:10.480 our other allies.
00:44:11.400 They do hurt Israel and isolate Israel.
00:44:14.740 It is time for my colleagues to be able to—on the other side of the aisle—to put our country
00:44:20.300 and our national security ahead of partisan politics.
00:44:24.660 What we should do is to vote this bill down.
00:44:28.020 I yield back.
00:44:28.960 Gentlelady from Connecticut yields.
00:44:30.660 Gentleman from California is recognized.
00:44:32.240 Gentlelady yields the balance of your time.
00:44:34.640 Yes, sir.
00:44:36.440 I'll close.
00:44:37.880 Gentlelady is correct.
00:44:39.060 But this bill is not about Ukraine or Indo-PACOM or some other things that—that I would love
00:44:44.900 to have some discussions about in the future.
00:44:48.060 This is about Israel.
00:44:50.080 And I think my friends on the other side of the aisle know I'm not a cynical person.
00:44:53.940 I—I went about this.
00:44:55.540 I've been in favor of moving an Israel bill for some time.
00:44:58.860 And now is the time.
00:45:01.200 I—I think it's just simply the right thing to do.
00:45:05.560 And with that, let's pass this bill.
00:45:07.360 Let's support Israel.
00:45:09.120 And I yield back to balance the balance of my time.
00:45:11.200 The question is, will the House suspend the rules and pass the bill, H.R. 7217?
00:45:17.240 Those in favor say aye.
00:45:19.440 Those opposed, no.
00:45:21.620 In the opinion of the chair, two-thirds being in the affirmative.
00:45:24.520 The rules are suspended.
00:45:25.520 The bill is passed.
00:45:26.840 Without objection, the motion to reconsider is—
00:45:29.200 Mr. Speaker, I ask for the yeas and nays.
00:45:32.580 The yeas and nays are requested.
00:45:35.500 Those favoring a vote by the yeas and nays will rise.
00:45:38.620 A significant—a sufficient number having risen, the yeas and nays are ordered.
00:45:42.760 Pursuant to Clause 8 of Rule 20, further proceedings on this question are postponed.
00:45:48.940 Proceedings will resume on questions previously postponed.
00:45:52.080 Votes will—
00:45:52.540 I want to warn you of a huge change that could be coming to our money and our bank accounts.
00:45:58.320 First, think back to 9-11, shortly after the government pushed through the Patriot Act.
00:46:02.820 This gave the government power to spy on innocent Americans by monitoring our phone and email
00:46:08.040 and tracking our movement across the Internet.
00:46:11.140 Now, Jim Rickards, editor of the independent financial newsletter Strategic Intelligence
00:46:15.620 and New York Times bestselling author, is warning about a coming event
00:46:19.920 that could elevate this governmental surveillance to a terrifying new level.
00:46:24.380 In fact, some of the guests I've had on the war room believe that the government
00:46:27.960 will soon expand their powers to track our every move.
00:46:31.780 If we say the wrong things on social media, donate to the wrong causes, buy firearms, or even vote MAGA,
00:46:38.920 the government may be able to shut us out of our bank accounts.
00:46:42.800 I can't say for sure if this will happen.
00:46:45.020 But it's an interesting and dire warning.
00:46:48.360 Fortunately, Jim Rickards, an American patriot and friend of mine,
00:46:51.340 has made it his mission to educate us on what he believes is coming
00:46:55.080 and how to protect yourself from the possibility of programmable money.
00:47:00.820 Watch Jim's warning video now before it's censored like I've been in the past.
00:47:06.420 Go to RickardsWarRoom.com.
00:47:08.420 That's RickardsWarRoom.com now to see the video.
00:47:11.920 So we're going to have a series of votes.
00:47:16.000 We'll go back to that.
00:47:17.060 But a couple of historic things are happening right now.
00:47:20.500 Number one, this, and I believe I'm correct on this,
00:47:25.180 the Israeli bail is gone without going through the aid to Israel.
00:47:29.380 $17.6 billion did not go through the Rules Committee.
00:47:32.460 So I think they're doing another of which obviously Johnson promised not to do.
00:47:36.560 Suspension of the rules, that needs two-thirds of majority.
00:47:40.780 In that, you're going to need a significant number of Democrats.
00:47:44.060 And you saw a lot of Democrats there at the end are against this bill for a host of reasons.
00:47:47.760 Principally, it looks like the pro-Palestinian group,
00:47:52.720 they want the two-state solution.
00:47:54.840 They hate Bibi Netanyahu.
00:47:56.260 So you heard Caroline Glick today go through a whole laundry list and litany
00:48:00.160 of the Democratic Party, of what they believe particularly.
00:48:04.480 So they're very split.
00:48:06.140 And I think it's a two-thirds, one-third split on the Democratic Party.
00:48:08.820 So on the Republican side, what Andy Bakes and the Freedom Caucus,
00:48:12.520 those people like ourselves that support Israel are kind of outraged.
00:48:16.600 This thing would be jammed through so quickly that you wouldn't do offsets.
00:48:20.300 This bill, and of course, you say, well, that was done before
00:48:22.780 and it got rejected by the Senate, couldn't go anywhere.
00:48:24.560 It has to have offsets.
00:48:25.540 We cannot go into another, you know, additional $17 billion in debt
00:48:30.860 when there's plenty of pockets out there that you could take from.
00:48:35.060 Plenty of pockets out there that you could take from.
00:48:37.520 Principally, the number one pocket that you could take from is the United Nations.
00:48:42.980 The United Nations, I think it rounds up to about $14 or $15 billion.
00:48:46.120 You got USAID.
00:48:47.660 You also have all the money that we're giving the Palestinians
00:48:52.880 and others like the Houthis.
00:48:54.540 They're opposed to us and actually in combat with us right now.
00:48:58.860 They don't even discuss what, you know, the $6 billion that was given, you know,
00:49:07.220 Kash Patel talked about today, the $6 billion that we, you know, we unlocked
00:49:11.180 so the Persians could get their hands on this.
00:49:14.960 I believe that AIPAC and other kind of Jewish lobbying firms, people that represent Jewish
00:49:21.140 interest on the Hill, I heard, try to pull this bill back because of its lack of support.
00:49:26.780 I don't remember any bill that would be supporting our alliance with Israel and our allies in Israel
00:49:33.460 has ever been defeated.
00:49:34.420 I think that this would be pretty historical if this happened tonight, but already you can see
00:49:40.220 there's a firestorm up there and not just Democrats that oppose any aid, further aid to Israel.
00:49:46.840 Caroline Glick said the Biden administration is doing everything in its power to make sure
00:49:50.360 Israel cannot win.
00:49:51.260 But there's also now a group of Republicans that are saying if we continue to support Israel,
00:49:57.060 which we want, you need to do offsets.
00:49:59.300 We cannot go further than that.
00:50:00.760 You can't bankrupt America to save Israel.
00:50:03.460 That has just been dismissed by Speaker Johnson.
00:50:05.440 And now you have the situation you're in.
00:50:07.640 So we're going to see that's going to be a historic vote tonight.
00:50:10.120 In addition, you have the other vote, and that is the impeachment of Mayorkas.
00:50:16.520 And this is coming at exactly the same time.
00:50:18.440 Do we have the Ted Cruz?
00:50:19.720 How long is that?
00:50:20.680 Let's go ahead and play the Ted.
00:50:21.800 Ted Cruz is now saying McConnell's got to step down because the impeachment vote of Mayorkas
00:50:26.520 ties directly to the collapse of the invasion bill that you just seen.
00:50:33.200 Let's go ahead and play this.
00:50:33.960 Ted Cruz a little while ago.
00:50:35.540 Is it time for Mitch McConnell to go?
00:50:38.720 I think it is.
00:50:40.120 Look, everyone here also supported a leadership challenge to Mitch McConnell in November.
00:50:46.300 I think a Republican leader should actually lead this conference and should advance the
00:50:52.740 priorities of Republicans.
00:50:55.360 I can tell you what I said when we had that leadership election in November of 2022.
00:51:00.880 It was right after a very disappointing election.
00:51:05.900 2022, the wind was at our back.
00:51:07.820 It should have been a phenomenal Republican election year.
00:51:11.260 Republicans should have won the Senate.
00:51:12.900 We should have won a big majority in the House.
00:51:15.260 Instead, we lost a seat in the Senate, and we barely got a majority in the House.
00:51:19.940 And I stood up and said, look, in any ordinary organization, when you are faced with failure, if you're running a business and you lose $50 million, you don't just say, hey, everything's great.
00:51:32.000 Let's keep doing it.
00:51:32.760 No, you sit down and say, what are we doing wrong?
00:51:34.800 And at that meeting, I turned to Mitch McConnell then and I said, look, we spent the last two years with a group, a handful of Republicans joining with Democrats to pass the Democrat agenda.
00:51:45.880 And I said, maybe that's a good idea.
00:51:48.700 I don't think it is.
00:51:49.700 But someone could make the argument that's a good idea.
00:51:52.520 I'll tell you, it's one-sided.
00:51:54.640 You know who doesn't do that?
00:51:55.580 The Democrats.
00:51:56.820 In 2017 and 2018, when we had a Republican president, Republican Senate, Republican House, not one single time did a group of Democrats join with the Republicans to pass the Republican agenda.
00:52:08.100 So we're the only ones who do it.
00:52:10.900 But I turned to Mitch then and I said, is there anything?
00:52:14.240 What are we willing to fight on?
00:52:15.920 What are you willing to fight on?
00:52:17.400 Is there anything you're willing to draw a line in the sand and say, we will fight?
00:52:23.380 And he refused to answer that question now.
00:52:25.600 And that's why we're in this mess, because this was a plan that was designed to lose.
00:52:30.800 This is a plan Chuck Schumer is thrilled with, which is why Schumer says, I got 98 problems, but Mitch isn't one of them.
00:52:42.720 OK, Ted Cruz, that's a jailbreak right there.
00:52:45.960 This is a historic day on Capitol Hill.
00:52:49.060 We have this huge vote right now about the Israeli $17.6 billion arms bill.
00:52:56.240 That's going to be a firestorm that may be defeated the first time ever.
00:52:59.560 We're going to follow that.
00:53:00.680 You've also got the impeachment.
00:53:02.760 I hear the impeachment is going to take place between around 615 to 620.
00:53:06.980 We have also this huge decision by the appellate court.
00:53:11.420 Mike Davis is carving some time out.
00:53:12.920 So we're going to start with Mike Davis in the next hour and then we'll play it from here from there.
00:53:17.780 So another huge day.
00:53:19.380 You see turbulence you're seeing in the nation's capital.
00:53:22.520 Remember, you're in the ring on this.
00:53:24.900 You're not a spectator.
00:53:25.920 You're actually an active participant.
00:53:27.280 The collapse of the the collapse of the of the invasion bill and also, quite frankly, getting people's minds right about we can't add things to the deficit.
00:53:37.440 We just can't.
00:53:38.260 You can't pass a tax bill.
00:53:39.380 Does it you can't arm our allies?
00:53:41.240 Money has to be carved out.
00:53:42.640 I will tell you one thing.
00:53:43.480 It's been total crickets on Ukraine.
00:53:45.560 That's one of the big developments over the last couple of days.
00:53:47.480 Make sure you go to birchgold.com slash bandit.

00:54:36.820 Remember, they can't beat President Trump at the polls.
00:54:39.500 They have to use lawfare.
00:54:40.520 Huge ruling by a D.C.
00:54:41.720 appellate court prior to going to the Supreme Court.
00:54:44.580 Huge votes coming up.
