On today's show, Stephen K. Baughman breaks down what he believes is going to happen on Wednesday morning, February 7th at 1:00am, the collapse of the border amnesty bill, and the end of our sovereignty.
00:06:42.000And talk to the African-American community that you took the community center away from.
00:06:46.000The white progressive liberals who are a scourge to this country.
00:06:55.000The white progressive billionaires have done more damage to this country than any foreign enemy.
00:07:01.000And their acolytes and mouthpieces and their Goebbels operation on things like MSNBC and the New York Times and CNN and the Washington Post are all guilty as charged.
00:07:20.000The Democrats can't win unless they steal.
00:07:22.000And that's why we need leadership at the RNC is going to get very focused on making sure this is not stolen again because the 2020 election was stolen.
00:07:31.000And as the New York Times so brilliantly put out yesterday, Maggie Haberman and Jonathan Swan, the two best reporters they got, they said they finally nailed it.
00:07:43.000If Trump had done what the RNC donors had wanted to do and what the RNC, what Ronald McDaniel was telling him to do, and all those people around him were telling him to do, to just be a good little boy and say, I put up a good fight and I barely lost to Biden and congratulations, but I won seats in the House and I took seats in the Senate and aren't I a good boy?
00:08:03.000He would be totally and completely irrelevant.
00:09:34.000And she become kind of the one of the centers of the Welsh community of this town of pitching and putting forward the Ukrainian, the Ukrainian cause.
00:09:43.000She has a came with a 14 year old son.
00:09:45.000You know why? She didn't want to center the military.
00:21:30.000But I do want to say there's normally inverse relationship to how how well you're working out and how fit you looked in your your your intellectual output.
00:22:49.000And yesterday, this Paul Krugman piece, this op ed in the New York Times leaps off the page at me.
00:22:56.000I think I actually found it by reading the real clear, the real clear politics morning newsletter roundup just to give the audience kind of an insight into into our habits.
00:23:06.000You know, going through not just, you know, what's coming up on Google News or Apple News or the New York Times homepage, but really going and seeing what other editors are doing.
00:23:17.000And it makes you know, it's not a surprise that this op ed manages to land itself at place number two in that real clear politics newsletter because they're trying.
00:23:27.000The establishment is trying to get up in your face about this.
00:23:30.000I take a great amount of umbrage with all of the hoaxes, right?
00:23:35.000I'm obsessed with them, whether it's the Russia hoax, Jan 6, you name it.
00:23:39.000I love to get to the bottom of these things.
00:23:41.000And one of the most recent ones, and I think one that we haven't offered enough attention to, is the is the poisoning the blood hoax, or as I now call it, the blood libel.
00:23:51.000Because this is these comments were first made to me in person during an interview that I did with Donald Trump, President Trump back in September.
00:24:00.000And at the time, you know, we pulled it out as a story.
00:24:03.000We thought, yeah, that, you know, that is a strong phrase.
00:24:05.000That's it's it's definitely spicy, but it's it's completely accurate.
00:24:10.000I mean, what is going on on the southern border in the United States?
00:24:13.000Frankly, what's going on via the northern border in the United States now?
00:24:16.000What's going on in terms of what's being flown into the United States at the moment?
00:24:20.000You know, we we document I know you look at it.
00:24:22.000We document these things almost every day, whether it be the crime, whether it be the fentanyl, whether it be other drugs coming in, all of this stuff.
00:24:29.000And we have the headline on all of these articles that go up on the site that just says poisoning the blood because this is what President Trump was talking about.
00:24:37.000Right. He's talking about people who come in and they don't assimilate.
00:24:40.000They're not part of the culture. They're poisoning the blood of the country.
00:24:43.000He's talking about the drugs that are coming in over the border.
00:24:45.000It's poisoning the blood of the country.
00:24:47.000And Krugman, in his article in The New York Times, takes all of that, roundly ignores it and just throws a line in there that says, you know,
00:24:57.000Trump's poisoning the blood comments was basically about how he hates all immigrants and only likes white people.
00:25:03.000Full stop. That was it. No caveat, no explainer, no contextualization, no nothing.
00:25:09.000Well, that is that is defamatory. That is libelous. And it's frankly a blood libel.
00:25:14.000So that is what we've called it. It's up in the analysis section on the National Pulse right now.
00:25:20.000Explain to the audience, particularly many of the as the show expands, many people have come in the last year or so.
00:25:29.000Explain who Krugman is and why, once again, this guy is writing on on these issues and not on economics.
00:25:37.000Well, Paul Krugman is is the political economy version of Jim Cramer.
00:25:42.000You know, every everything the guy writes, backs, suggests you can kind of bet your bottom dollar that that it's going to go the other way.
00:25:53.000This is a person who has made his made his mark on the world stage, you know, trotting around to conferences, very, very Keynesian in his economic worldview about how I mean, everything that you've seen politically, economically in the last 20 odd years, whether it be inflationary stuff, whether it be candidate level stuff.
00:26:16.000It's all globalism, you know, writ large, but it's a veneer of intellectualism that somebody like Krugman offers it, you know, professor in this and that, go and do your TED talks in your world stage, you know, discussions, but you get into the heart of it.
00:26:31.920And this is very much the heart of it, which is which is what his thesis is about what is going on just in America today, but in the world today.
00:26:40.000And it boils down to these kind of moments where you find them just reaching for smears against their opponents, because actually, they really don't have many answers to anything else.
00:26:50.280You see it, by the way, writ large over the course of the last week with the conversation that's going on, not just on Capitol Hill, not just downtown Washington, D.C., but on the national television news as well about this border bill, right?
00:27:03.760They don't actually go, OK, here's what we're going to do, guys.
00:27:06.200We're going to go through this bill. Remember, when this bill came out, Steve, we put up the summary of it almost immediately, right?
00:27:11.820We went through it with a tooth comb, put up the summary almost immediately.
00:27:15.460These guys aren't doing that. I'm pointing to my television right here. These guys aren't doing that.
00:27:19.700They are engaging in a smear operation, just like Krugman's blood libel, to say, OK, anybody that doesn't support this is obviously a lunatic and wants to use this issue as a cudgel against the Democrats, has no interest in shutting the southern border.
00:27:33.120This bill doesn't shut the southern border. And, you know, going back to what Posobiec was saying in the first hour of this show, all of this stuff is inextricably linked.
00:27:45.300You know, Paul Krugman's timing of this article is as important as the content of this article.
00:27:51.900And I suggest everybody check out the analysis section of The Pulse.
00:27:54.360Hang on. Where do they go for The Pulse? We've got about 20 seconds. Where do they go?
00:28:00.340TheNationalPulse.com. And we need you to join up. Support the site. You are our backing at TheNationalPulse.com forward slash war room.
00:28:10.900Go there right now. You've got to read The National Pulse every day. Amazing analysis and observations. Short break. Back in a moment.
00:28:17.460When the economy collapses, will you collapse with it? You can feel it coming. All the signs are there.
00:28:24.440With it comes financial disaster, tight budgets, sacrifice. Plan for the worst with the best.
00:28:30.560My Patriot Supply. My Patriot Supply has helped millions prepare.
00:28:35.080They'll help you too, particularly in hard times. Remember, hard times take years to recover from.
00:28:39.640Make that first year easier with their one-year emergency food kit.
00:28:46.000Now, get it now with $700 in savings at MyPatriotSupply.com.
00:30:47.520I think Republicans are united in killing that bill.
00:30:50.400Now, what is coming immediately after that is actually a huge surprise.
00:30:54.240And this is big news, Steve, because this was not known even 12 hours ago.
00:30:57.740But the establishment combined with the Democrats are then going to cut out the border piece of this package, which leaves Ukraine, Taiwan, Israel funding, and try to jam it through today.
00:31:10.420Now, we have to remember that we've had no time to review the Ukraine piece of this.
00:31:15.940Even some of my friends who are pro-Ukraine funding are saying, wait, we have to have time to actually review this.
00:31:21.160But, Steve, this is all about giving away what little leverage we have over the Democrats, passing this Ukraine package, and then putting pressure on the House.
00:31:30.880So it's a lose from a policy perspective.
00:31:33.840It's a lose from a political perspective.
00:31:36.500And I have no idea why we're doing it except for this.
00:33:25.660We don't want to give them Ukraine money.
00:33:27.100Or even if we do, some of my colleagues do, of course, we want border security more than that.
00:33:31.760So tell Joe Biden, very simply, he doesn't get another dime for Ukraine unless he shuts down the American border.
00:33:37.700That was what we thought we were negotiating here.
00:33:40.660In reality, we were doing this massive amnesty package behind closed doors.
00:33:45.120And then, of course, like you said, dropped on Sunday evening for a Wednesday vote so that nobody would have enough time to read it and push back against the terrible provisions.
00:33:54.360Here's what I've heard, Steve, and I've heard this from both Democrats and Republicans in the United States Senate,
00:33:59.220that the Republicans were never empowered by our own leadership to really push for concession.
00:34:05.060So James Lankford from Oklahoma is getting a lot of crap for this.
00:34:09.580What I've heard is actually that he was told that he was not allowed to get major concessions on the border because this was always a fig leaf.
00:34:17.860It was always a question of how could you get enough on the border so the conservatives would swallow $61 billion for Ukraine.
00:34:24.760They may not love it, but they love border security.
00:34:26.980That was always the trade they were being forced to make.
00:34:29.420Well, as you know, Steve, if you go into negotiation and you're already preemptively giving concessions and you're unwilling to walk away because you're supposed to give border to get Ukraine funding, right?
00:34:44.120Well, if the Republican leadership wants Ukraine funding as much as the Democrats, we don't have any leverage to begin with.
00:34:49.860And that was the fundamental flaw in this entire process is we had no leverage because our leadership didn't allow us to have leverage.
00:34:57.180That's why this whole thing is broken down, and that's why they've now immediately pivoted to getting money for Ukraine, which if we cared about the border, Steve, what we should be doing is going back to the drawing board saying this isn't good enough, but still the deal is on the table.
00:35:12.740No more money for Ukraine unless Biden shuts down the border.
00:35:15.820The fact that we're not even doing that, Steve, gives the whole game away.
00:35:21.640Senator Vance, you've spent more time and focus to get to the American people, what the truth is.
00:35:28.760Here's what – Zelensky's tried to fire the revered – and you're a former Marine, so you know this general is a revered guy, the head of their uniformed services.
00:35:52.620The Ukrainian government, the offensive stalled.
00:35:55.240They're talking about another potential offensive, but the government looks like it may be close to collapse.
00:36:00.000How can they make the argument that this is a time to be sending $60 billion of taxpayer money, maybe to lead to the more destruction of the nation – of the Ukrainian nation itself and its people?
00:36:16.480I know about it because we pay attention when we read these things.
00:36:18.980But look, this isn't like The Economist, right?
00:36:20.900These are establishment newspapers and magazines where the real story of Ukraine is that it's turning into a rump state.
00:36:27.260Zeluzny, the military leader that you're talking about, is getting fired by Zelensky because he's telling the truth and saying, look, there's no path to victory here.
00:36:35.900We need to be pushing towards negotiation.
00:36:37.620So we're witnessing Ukraine become a rump state, and we're witnessing, like you said, a soft coup where anybody who challenges the narrative, even within Ukraine, is being memory-hold.
00:36:59.560Whatever your views are on whether we should be supporting the Ukrainians or should have supported them in the beginning, it is clear now they can't win.
00:37:10.740And so the question for America is how do we bring this thing to a close, stop the worldwide energy crisis and food crisis that could be brought on if this thing drags on, stop Ukraine from becoming a welfare client of the United States?
00:37:23.140That's what's in our national interest, not to prolong this war indefinitely.
00:37:27.040The other thing that we haven't talked enough about, Steve, is a lot of my Republican colleagues have convinced themselves that there is no corruption problem in Ukraine.
00:37:39.840And it is clear they have a serious corruption problem.
00:37:42.540So we don't even know where all of our dollars are actually going.
00:37:44.960Senator, you stay uniquely close to the people because you're a populist, the people of Ohio.
00:37:51.960What do your constituents think of both the border, quote-unquote, security bill and this Ukraine situation?
00:37:57.540What are their thoughts when you talk to them?
00:38:00.000Steve, you know this because you talk to people, too.
00:38:02.240They recognize the border as the most existential problem that we face as a country in a generation, that if we don't get this under control, we could lose our country.
00:38:10.680We lose it politically, of course, because Democrats want to legalize all these voters.
00:38:14.960We lose it in terms of the drugs, the fentanyl, the sex trafficking coming into our country.
00:38:20.340So they know this is the most important crisis that we face.
00:38:23.800Even if they're pro-Ukraine funding, and most, of course, are not, that's not a top-10 concern.
00:38:28.900Steve, you go into a room in Ohio and you ask the audience, who supports Ukraine funding, who doesn't?
00:38:35.54080% of the hands will say they don't support further Ukraine funding.
00:38:39.120You ask everybody, is Ukraine a top-10 issue and not a single hand goes up?
00:38:43.120Everybody recognizes we've got more important things to do, and if Ukraine matters at all as an important issue, it's because it gives us leverage.
00:38:51.700You know this, Steve, in divided government, we're not going to get everything that we want, but you can get some things you want if you're willing to use the leverage that you have.
00:39:00.020Unfortunately, our leadership has taken it off the table because they care about Ukraine maybe more than the Democrats do.
00:39:07.540Senator Vance, our audience is already geared up to make some phone calls here.
00:39:11.680What would you, and they're going to be very respectful, what would you recommend the message to the United States Senate be today?
00:39:21.760Do not give the Democrats a massive win politically that all it will do is further prolong the border crisis because it reduces our leverage and further prolong a needless war in Eastern Europe.
00:40:52.220They're – you know, they're – now they actually – Jerry rigged it as we had Mike Davis and Boris on yesterday to talk about how they – you know, how he came to go en banc.
00:41:01.960This whole thing to the Supreme Court, this massive hearing on Thursday, and the reason is we're winning.
00:41:10.000Just once again, you see – you just had J.D. Vance.
00:41:13.020One of your beats, you've done such a great job in the last couple of years, is following Ukraine.
00:41:17.600Just once again, inform our audience what's really going on in Ukraine because it's – the mainstream media over here is covering it up.
00:41:25.000J.D. Vance talked about the corruption.
00:41:26.560J.D. Vance talked about the soft coup of the military.
00:41:30.420We have one – as J.D. Vance says, the most important vote he has taken in his – since he's gotten into the Senate is right now, this afternoon.
00:41:40.940What should people know about Ukraine?
00:41:43.840Well, I know I've got a few moments before we go into a break, but I did want to respond to something that Posse was saying earlier on in the show, Steve,
00:41:51.960specifically about the big confrontation that President Zelensky had with General Zeluzny on Monday of last week, nine days ago.
00:42:01.860The General Budinov, who's in charge of the intelligence, Ukrainian intelligence, that everyone seems to be talking about,
00:42:09.700both he and the general who's in charge, operational charge of Ukraine's ground forces, General Alexander Zersky,
00:42:18.600both of them, in the interim period when Zelensky actually had fired General Zeluzny –
00:42:26.500again, you know, because he refused to quit, he refused to resign, he said, OK, I'm going to fire you, you're fired, I'll sign imminently this decree –
00:42:35.160in that interim period of a few hours, Zelensky then approached both of these generals, Budinov and Zersky,
00:42:42.880and both of them looked him in the face and said, no, we're not going to take on the commander-in-chief role.
00:42:48.780Now, there were probably dynamics around the reason that they said no, and of course, before the angel of death,
00:42:54.840Victoria Nuland descended on Kiev, there was possibly – you know, we covered this at the time, in real time –
00:43:02.780there was possibly the eventuality of a military coup.
00:43:05.700So at that stage, these two top guys, they might have said no because their loyalty at that time was to General Zeluzny, the commander-in-chief.
00:43:16.100Now, we don't know what the dynamic is now, but Zelensky, nine days on, he doesn't have any alternatives.
00:43:25.300Hang on for one second, OK? We're taking a short commercial break.
00:43:27.780This is what you're putting $61 billion in money, which will just continue on.
00:43:32.840A disgrace. A disgrace. Short break. Back in a moment.
