Bannon's War Room - Episode 3675： Roll Of The Iron Dice

00:00:00.000 important to pay attention to the cast of characters Team MAGA is putting together.

00:00:04.520 The Republican National Committee has hired a prominent Stop the Steal advocate to craft

00:00:09.040 its platform, Ed Martin, a former chair of the Missouri Republican Party, who marched

00:00:13.700 outside the Capitol on January 6th.

00:00:16.140 Another platform hire is a key figure behind the Heritage Foundation's Project 2025, a

00:00:22.360 draconian playbook for a second Trump term.

00:00:25.040 Former Office of Management and Budget Director Russ Vouch is a self-proclaimed Christian

00:00:29.480 nationalist who's pushing a post-constitutional vision for a second Trump term.

00:00:35.180 Vouch supports prosecuting officials who investigated Trump and his allies.

00:00:38.840 He told right-wing activist Charlie Kirk, it can't just be hearings.

00:00:43.500 It has to be investigations, an army of investigators that lead to firm convictions.

00:00:49.560 With this normalization of the far right in this country and this idea that you're just

00:00:55.980 voting for the opposition, I think this is a dangerous party.

00:00:58.660 If we look at Farage's alliance with Trump and Trump's open warfare with democracy, his

00:01:05.240 statements that he's going to be a dictator on day one, I don't think that it is something

00:01:09.740 casual to just say, oh, well, you know, maybe they'll make a better opposition.

00:01:15.140 You know, since I've been here, this country has been in the grips of a scandal about Rishi

00:01:21.420 Sunak's actions around D-Day and I understand why people are offended.

00:01:29.460 I understand the pain that this is evoked.

00:01:32.320 But to me, the lessons of the Second World War, the lessons of D-Day, the way to honor

00:01:38.580 the many, many victims is to look at history and look at the conditions under which the

00:01:44.080 far right rises.

00:01:45.460 And I think it's when the right makes an alliance of convenience with the far right.

00:01:51.340 That is when fascism rises.

00:01:52.660 ...of what is now, again, another round of what seemed to be surprisingly right-wing election

00:01:57.200 results in Europe this weekend.

00:01:59.660 Was it right in 2016 to see right-wing election results in Europe as a harbinger of what was

00:02:06.000 coming for us in the fall of 2016, right?

00:02:09.940 As President Biden balances his campaign responsibilities right now with back-to-back trips to Europe.

00:02:15.180 He just got back from Europe.

00:02:17.080 He heads back to Europe again on Wednesday.

00:02:19.520 Do the election results from Europe right now this weekend have hallmarks that tell us anything

00:02:25.100 about what to expect here and about how weird this is all going to get?

00:02:29.580 President Biden clearly sees our connections to Europe right now as absolutely key to the future

00:02:35.000 of the world.

00:02:37.060 Does what's going on in European politics right now tell us anything to expect about the future

00:02:42.160 of our world here?

00:02:43.540 I think that the Tories know they're going to lose, and they seem to be practically throwing

00:02:48.720 the election.

00:02:49.900 They've basically written it off.

00:02:51.800 And it seems like Labour is running, trying not to make any sudden movements and to send

00:02:56.520 lots of reassuring messages that very little really is going to change.

00:03:00.840 Are you disappointed?

00:03:01.860 Are you disappointed by that?

00:03:03.420 I am.

00:03:03.800 I'm not just disappointed.

00:03:04.740 I'm worried, because if we look at what just happened in Europe, if we look at what Schultz

00:03:08.700 is doing, I'm seeing Labour poised to make the same mistakes, which absolutely, I think,

00:03:14.740 will win an election, but will set the table for a far-right comeback.

00:03:18.420 That's what I'm worried about.

00:03:19.800 I think the message that we're seeing from Europe is there really need to be policies that

00:03:25.620 meet people's most urgent needs.

00:03:28.100 And this idea of what we're hearing from your leader about these fiscal rules and basically

00:03:33.480 sounding like Margaret Thatcher on running a government like a household, which is ridiculous,

00:03:38.240 is going to set the table for a far-right comeback.

00:03:41.480 Do you think they are important for us to pay attention to?

00:03:44.440 And can you just give us a rough characterization of what happened in those elections?

00:03:48.440 Sure.

00:03:49.440 These were elections for the European Parliament.

00:03:53.440 the European Union-wide Parliament.

00:03:55.040 And so it's the only election that takes place every few years in which all of Europe votes.

00:03:59.400 So it's a good barometer of where opinion is in Europe.

00:04:02.620 I think the two headlines are the far-right made noticeable gains in the two largest countries

00:04:08.700 in Europe, France and Germany.

00:04:10.480 In France, the National Front Party, which is the far-right party that used to be on the

00:04:14.700 fringes of French politics, emerged as by far the largest vote-getter in this election.

00:04:19.760 And to just build on what you're saying, Rachel, this is a party that is not only far-right,

00:04:23.840 they've had ties to Russia.

00:04:24.860 They got a $10 million loan from Russia within the last decade.

00:04:28.100 So this is not conjecture.

00:04:29.980 This is reality.

00:04:31.100 And in Germany, the AfD party, which has ties that go back into the kind of neo-Nazi past

00:04:36.860 of Germany, that's never a good thing in German politics, obviously.

00:04:39.540 They got over 15 percent of the vote.

00:04:41.500 Not a huge total, but very alarming given the source here.

00:04:44.860 Now, I want to be clear.

00:04:46.100 In other parts of Europe, actually, the center did hold.

00:04:48.680 But I think the real concerning factor is in the two most important countries, France

00:04:52.940 and Germany, we saw these far-right gains.

00:04:55.360 The reality is there's a great many people, voters in his base, that do want somebody that

00:05:02.000 is going to go and make things difficult and make, you know, even our allies uncomfortable.

00:05:06.280 And when they say we may cut off, you know, support for NATO allies and Russia can do whatever

00:05:10.640 the hell they want, that is the type of fight they want out of a new American leader here

00:05:14.480 in the year of 2024.

00:05:16.020 This is a new regime.

00:05:17.060 This is a new era.

00:05:18.680 This is the primal scream of a dying regime.

00:05:25.560 Pray for our enemies, because we're going medieval on these people.

00:05:30.680 Here's the reason I got a free shot at all these networks lying about the people.

00:05:34.940 The people have had a belly full of it.

00:05:36.860 I know you don't like hearing that.

00:05:38.280 I know you try to do everything in the world to stop that, but you're not going to stop it.

00:05:40.980 It's going to happen.

00:05:42.020 And where do people like that go to share the big line?

00:05:45.660 Mega media.

00:05:46.580 I wish in my soul, I wish that any of these people had a conscience.

00:05:52.480 Ask yourself, what is my task and what is my purpose?

00:05:56.180 If that answer is to save my country, this country will be saved.

00:06:02.400 It's Tuesday 11th June in the year of our Lord, 2024.

00:06:15.200 And yes, the aftershocks have finally gotten to the mainstream media.

00:06:19.180 What we reported on through the weekend, Sunday up on Getter and then all day yesterday, to keep the war room posse always ahead of the curve.

00:06:29.000 It's been an earthquake, tectonic plate shift in Europe and particularly the two biggest countries.

00:06:35.780 Of course, Italy, although we may not love everything Georgia Maloney is doing.

00:06:40.480 Italy, the right, is in charge. 0.59

00:06:44.180 It's happening through the rest of Europe.

00:06:45.940 But man, when Germany and France, and that's really the EU is Germany and France.

00:06:52.020 When they have what the performance of Alternative for Deutschland and what happened with the Green Party crushed in Germany.

00:07:00.500 And you've had the dissolution of parliament by Macron.

00:07:04.360 And now he's getting a ton of grief from his allies in the center and the center left.

00:07:10.040 Even some of the center right saying that this is a role and I call it a role of the iron dice.

00:07:16.720 A real gamble, as Raheem brought up yesterday.

00:07:19.020 We're going to get into all that, much more on the FBI, DOJ, a big op-ed by Garland that says the unjustified announcements against DOJ and the FBI, the unfounded accusations have to stop.

00:07:36.840 They're hurting the FBI and hurting the Justice Department.

00:07:39.560 Okay, I tell you what, Attorney General Garland, we'll make a deal.

00:07:43.780 We will stop with all the unfounded and we'll just focus on the founded because that's all we've been focusing on.

00:07:50.020 We don't do unfounded here in the war room.

00:07:52.220 We just do founded.

00:07:53.120 And that's what you should be worried about as the House gets ready to vote contempt charges on Merrick Garland.

00:08:00.060 A lot more going on, but I want to bring in John Solomon's wingman, Steve Richards, over at Just the News.

00:08:05.140 Kind of a blockbuster story pops up on your site, on the John Solomon site, late yesterday afternoon, early evening.

00:08:14.880 Steve Richards, explain to me, is there a litmus test?

00:08:18.080 Is the FBI blocking in its recruiting and hiring people that are MAGA or people that have any social media or anything to do with President Trump or support American citizens in good standing who are Trump supporters, sir?

00:08:32.060 Well, great to be with you, Steve.

00:08:35.000 And so, as you saw, as we broke last night, new documents indicate that the FBI initiated a security review of one of its employees.

00:08:45.540 And what they asked him was, do you support former President Trump?

00:08:50.760 Are you skeptical of the COVID-19 vaccine?

00:08:53.800 And do you support the Second Amendment?

00:08:56.040 Now, all these things are beliefs that millions of Americans hold.

00:08:58.980 And in the case of Trump, half the country supports him, as you see the recent polls.

00:09:04.080 And so, yes, there is this litmus test.

00:09:06.820 This is an agent who worked for the FBI.

00:09:10.700 Now he's a whistleblower.

00:09:12.360 But he took vacation days to go to the January 6, 2021 rally at the White House because he had the personal political opinion that there were irregularities in the election.

00:09:25.140 And he informed his superiors that he was going, and they didn't do anything about it for a year.

00:09:31.420 And then as the hysteria in the FBI built up over the January 6 events, they came after him and eventually, after these interviews, revoked his security clearance.

00:09:44.280 Hang on for a second.

00:09:48.080 They had a guy, an FBI agent in good standing.

00:09:52.360 He notified his supervisors, hey, I'm going to go over to the ellipse.

00:09:55.420 I'm going to go over to hear the president speak on January 6 at the two- or three-hour series of speeches.

00:10:00.900 And then later, a year later, they called him in, and what they wanted to drill down on his affinity for or support for Trump, questions about the vax, the COVID-19 vax, and the Second Amendment.

00:10:17.040 That's what they grilled him on.

00:10:18.700 And then later, they revoked his – they had him there for a security review, and later they revoked his security clearance.

00:10:24.020 That's correct, Steve.

00:10:26.600 And if you look at the documents that we published with our article, my colleague John Solomon, the agents who are interviewing this FBI employee indicated that he was – that other witnesses said that he was a gun nut, quote-unquote, and that he supported Trump's belief that the election was stolen.

00:10:48.980 And so they were using these political beliefs, which are normally protected under the Bill of Rights for a federal employee to hold.

00:10:57.140 They were using these political beliefs to determine whether or not he was allowed to possess a security clearance.

00:11:05.780 So they actually brought up election – the 2020 election, which is the heart of it all.

00:11:11.340 What happened?

00:11:12.400 Has security clearance revoked?

00:11:13.880 Is he still with the FBI?

00:11:14.900 I mean, if you don't have a security clearance, I don't even know how you go in the building and get in the elevator bank at the FBI.

00:11:20.800 I don't know anything – I couldn't even imagine a low-level administrative job that you wouldn't have at least have a confidential clearance.

00:11:28.620 So what has happened to this individual?

00:11:31.800 So much like some of the other FBI whistleblowers, like Marcus Allen, who have recently come forward,

00:11:37.600 this whistleblower, though he has chosen to remain anonymous, has filed a complaint with the Office of Inspector General at the FBI,

00:11:46.540 and he's being represented by Empower Oversight, the group that has also represented the IRS whistleblowers in the Hunter Biden investigation

00:11:53.100 and some of the other FBI agents.

00:11:55.420 And he's alleging that his security clearance, for obvious reasons, was improperly revoked.

00:12:04.160 Do we have any timing of when this will be worked through?

00:12:08.520 And the article, I think, said a litmus test.

00:12:11.140 Do you believe in your reporting that this has actually expanded out and been a broader litmus test in the FBI?

00:12:16.700 So as far as timeline, we're not sure how quickly this will move.

00:12:22.180 His lawyers at Empower Oversight asked Inspector General Horowitz to investigate this matter.

00:12:29.180 Based on his previous track record, we're not sure how quickly this will move along.

00:12:34.360 But two sources did tell my colleague, John Solomon, that there is evidence,

00:12:39.040 and they have reason to believe that this litmus test is more widespread than just this one whistleblower.

00:12:43.700 Steve Richards, what's your social media?

00:12:48.280 Where do they get all your reporting over at Just the News?

00:12:51.480 I post on Twitter, smrichards30, and on Truth Social, stevenrichards.

00:13:00.960 Steve, thank you very much. Great report.

00:13:03.140 You and John Solomon are doing a great job over there.

00:13:05.620 Thank you.

00:13:06.400 This is why we're hammering every day.

00:13:08.640 And, of course, McCabe goes on Anderson Cooper last night to give another—

00:13:12.600 I mean, I guess his idea is if he can whine and cry enough in front of a left-wing progressive audience,

00:13:19.680 that will get them all worked up and defend him.

00:13:21.760 It doesn't matter.

00:13:23.260 That's all emotions.

00:13:24.560 We're going to get to the bottom of all this, including this, a litmus test.

00:13:28.860 Think about it.

00:13:29.440 If you have an affinity for Trump, if you question the COVID-19 vax in response to the pandemic,

00:13:37.600 and, quote-unquote, the guy's a gun nut because he believes in the Second Amendment.

00:13:41.300 And then later they cut to the heart of it.

00:13:42.980 The heart of it?

00:13:44.600 Election.

00:13:45.120 Oh, he believes the 2020 election was stolen.

00:13:47.080 That's why he went to the ellipse that day to watch the speech.

00:13:52.420 That's why he did it.

00:13:53.260 Okay, there's a lot going on, including the earthquake in Europe that's reverberating here.

00:13:59.940 Actually, I think we reverberated there.

00:14:01.780 I think pretty good job.

00:14:02.720 Bravo, Zulu.

00:14:03.560 Got to get on top of this French election.

00:14:06.800 The French of right, the right-wing of French politics, are making alliances now for the center-right.

00:14:12.900 They're coming after Macron as he rolls the iron dice.

00:14:16.040 There's a lot more going on, including, guess what, coming off of D-Day, one of the high civic holy days in the American calendar,

00:14:25.600 to commemorate the valor of our troops and what they gave to basically free other people.

00:14:33.620 The United States government has decided now we're going to actually fund neo-Nazis and Nazis fighting for Zelensky, the Azov Battalion.

00:14:42.860 Short commercial break.

00:14:43.620 We're going to come back with all that.

00:14:46.840 You think it's turbulent?

00:14:47.980 You see all these market forecasts?

00:14:49.400 The market may drop there.

00:14:50.400 The market may drop here.

00:15:05.540 Inflation can render cash worthless.

00:15:09.240 Real estate can crash like in 2008.

00:15:11.300 Economies built on a mountain of debt can fall like a house of cards.

00:15:16.260 There are very few physical assets you can invest in that can stand the test of time.

00:15:21.920 Gold has withstood this as a valued form of money for millennia.

00:15:26.060 I actually think for 8,000 years of man's recorded history.

00:16:19.120 ...has a new piece in the Washington Post entitled,

00:16:21.700 Unfounded Attacks on the Justice Department Must End.

00:16:25.140 He writes in part this,

00:16:26.360 In recent weeks, we have seen an escalation of attacks that go far beyond public scrutiny, criticism, and legitimate and necessary oversight of our work.

00:16:36.100 These attacks come in the form of threats to defund particular department investigations.

00:16:43.720 Most recently, the special counsel's prosecution of the former president.

00:16:48.080 They come in the form of dangerous falsehoods about the FBI's law enforcement operations.

00:16:54.080 They come in the form of false claims that the department is politicizing its work to somehow influence the outcome of an election.

00:17:01.620 The Justice Department makes decisions about criminal investigations based only on the facts and the law.

00:17:11.080 We do not investigate people because of their last name, their political affiliation, the size of their bank account, where they come from, or what they look like.

00:17:21.640 Disagreements about politics are good for our democracy.

00:17:24.440 They are normal.

00:17:26.260 But using conspiracy theories, falsehoods, violence, and threats of violence to affect political outcomes is not normal.

00:17:39.000 What violence?

00:17:40.500 Okay, you can smell the fear.

00:17:43.320 You smell the fear?

00:17:45.800 Look at poor Mika. 1.00

00:17:46.980 Mika's all worked up.

00:17:48.220 She's concerned.

00:17:49.280 And Merrick Garland's concerned.

00:17:50.840 Garland, people will decide.

00:17:53.560 Congressional committees and investigations and special counsels and all of that, they'll decide.

00:17:59.820 You said it's unjustified.

00:18:01.240 It's not.

00:18:01.600 The investigations will decide that.

00:18:04.420 Not you.

00:18:05.400 You're not going to decide it.

00:18:06.540 You're the problem.

00:18:07.820 And Chris Wray and the rot at the FBI and DOJ. 0.97

00:18:10.460 You're the problem.

00:18:11.920 And we will stop all.

00:18:13.640 We haven't done it.

00:18:14.380 But we don't do unfounded, unfounded, unfounded.

00:18:19.420 We only do found it.

00:18:20.800 That's why you're worming around.

00:18:22.340 That's why McCain, why is McCain, goes on Anderson Cooper last night, wets himself again on national TV.

00:18:28.440 I certainly wish we had a tougher group of folks leading the FBI.

00:18:31.700 It doesn't seem like he's very tough now that the tables are being turned rapidly.

00:18:35.260 Because they can see, they understand what's happening in Europe.

00:18:37.140 It's going to happen here.

00:18:37.860 So we've got a lot going on.

00:18:40.240 I want to break it all down.

00:18:41.780 Raheem, I know one of the things I want to talk to was Azoff, you and Harnwell, but I've got to talk about this.

00:18:47.020 Merrick Garland.

00:18:48.320 And we're smoking him out.

00:18:49.420 He's got to go to the Washington Post with a huge editor.

00:18:51.560 In fact, why are you taking your time on your job?

00:18:54.540 Why are you not investigating the Biden crime family instead of sitting there writing an op-ed?

00:18:59.360 Why is the Attorney General of the United States wasting time, wasting taxpayers' money, writing an op-ed in the Washington Post?

00:19:06.320 Or the Langley bugle, as Ben Harnwell calls it.

00:19:09.880 Raheem, your thoughts on this, sir?

00:19:14.440 Well, I'm old enough to remember, and good morning, old enough to remember when, you know, unfounded attacks on American institutions were, you know, democracy, right?

00:19:28.340 That's what they said.

00:19:29.000 Democracy dies in darkness.

00:19:30.340 That's the Washington Post.

00:19:31.400 And every day they set about attacking the office of the president, attacking the DOJ, attacking the State Department.

00:19:39.660 You still see it today, attacking the Supreme Court, all this stuff.

00:19:43.520 You know, secret recordings of Supreme Court justices and their families wondering what flags they're running up the flagpole this week.

00:19:51.900 Completely and utterly undermining American institutions time and time again.

00:19:55.400 But, but, when a Democrat is running one of those institutions, like in this case, the DOJ, suddenly scrutiny becomes an attack itself.

00:20:05.320 The idea that Merrick Garland needs to go out there and run PR interference personally for his own department tells you something very serious is up.

00:20:17.400 Tells you that there is discord and disquiet within the institution.

00:20:21.420 Otherwise, you don't go out there and start making public pronouncements and start trying to hold the ship together.

00:20:25.900 This is not just about him trying to shore up his own position, trying to deflect from, you know, what is extremely, not just, not just legitimate scrutiny, by the way, needed scrutiny.

00:20:38.540 It is a necessity.

00:20:39.680 It is required.

00:20:41.140 It is urgent.

00:20:42.520 And it is, it is, it is a stain on America if what Merrick Garland and what Joe Biden have been doing is not exposed.

00:20:49.400 But what he's doing here is, I think, trying to keep people from the inside from speaking out.

00:20:58.620 Raheem, once again, bring a brilliant point about who runs it.

00:21:01.520 Chris Wray is a Republican, a rhino.

00:21:04.960 He's Chris Christie's lawyer.

00:21:06.200 He's Chris Christie's buddy.

00:21:07.380 Chris Christie's the one that recommended him and pushed him so hard.

00:21:10.380 And we attacked the FBI relentlessly because it's turned into the American Gestapo, first under Comey and McCabe, but certainly has continued under Chris Wray.

00:21:19.160 Your thoughts?

00:21:21.460 Yeah, look, you know me.

00:21:22.880 I'm, I'm, I do not discriminate against who I, who I take shots at.

00:21:28.060 If I think something is being run poorly, run badly, whether it's, whether it's the Speaker of the House, whether it's any campaign, whether it's any, you know, I'm sure you've been on the receiving end of my complaints enough times as well.

00:21:40.380 But, but the situation isn't the same on the other side.

00:21:42.940 And of course they play, they play differently.

00:21:45.000 And in fact, you know, they play for keeps.

00:21:46.740 I was just this morning speaking to somebody about this and speaking about, you know, all the lawfare that's going on at the moment, everything, you know, the contempt charges against Merrick Garland, where he should, you know, there frankly should have already been the, the sergeant at arms dispatched to haul him before Congress and make him, make him accountable for his actions.

00:22:06.880 There should have already been a complete and total negation and a scrubbing of the J6 committee and its, and its reports to law enforcement and so on and so forth.

00:22:17.940 But, but again, we play differently.

00:22:19.900 Some would say weaker.

00:22:21.720 This, however, I do think is Merrick Garland starting to realize that actually we might be starting to change the way we play.

00:22:32.980 Let's go ahead and play, before I bring Ben in, let's go ahead and play, I want to play Anderson Cooper.

00:22:37.520 McCabe, hearing our, our, our retort on him and mocking of him, went back to CNN last night to Anderson Cooper.

00:22:46.380 Let's go ahead and play it.

00:22:47.040 In terms of, if he is president, using the levers of the Justice Department, the FBI to go after political opponents in a second term, how would that, how would he go about that?

00:22:57.380 I mean, how, how, how feasible is that?

00:23:01.660 Well, I think it's entirely feasible.

00:23:03.360 I mean, you know, the, it's, it's interesting to me that across those interviews, interviews with people who are like Dr. Phil and others who are trying to kind of get him to walk away from those claims, he soft pedals it a little bit.

00:23:15.880 But then he gets out in front of the, in front of the rally crowds and really hits it home.

00:23:19.920 It's, it is absolutely clear.

00:23:21.800 He said it many times in front of many different people.

00:23:24.460 He intends to take the levers of power if he is reelected and use them for his own personal retribution goals, which in and of itself is so unbelievably offensive.

00:23:36.740 It should be to any American that any American president would purport to do such a thing.

00:23:43.180 Can he do it?

00:23:44.300 Sure, he can do it.

00:23:45.500 If he follows through with the plan that he's already laid out, this 2025 plan that they've talked about, he'll replace those folks in significant positions, the Department of Justice and the FBI and other law and federal law enforcement entities with flunkies who will do whatever he says.

00:24:03.380 So the first steps in this process of trumping up charges against people baselessly and throwing them in jail could actually happen.

00:24:13.380 I think it gets tougher when those cases start to make their way through the courts, you know, but that takes a long time.

00:24:20.540 And so I think it's reasonable that people who think they might be, you know, on the former president's enemies list start thinking about what does that look like?

00:24:32.100 What could that, you know, how could that actually play out in your lives?

00:24:36.380 And I think people are having those conversations to try to figure those things out as we speak.

00:24:40.400 You better have a lot of conversations because what's going to happen is going to be painting between the lines using the Constitution law.

00:24:50.560 And by the way, McCabe, the president-elect will have full authority to appoint 3,000 people.

00:24:56.640 Well, that's where the briefing's going.

00:24:57.600 And I want everybody to remember, 3,000 people are political appointees.

00:25:01.040 Another 1,000 have to be confirmed by the Senate.

00:25:04.100 But there are 8 million contractors, 8 million contractors.

00:25:09.120 And a ton of those, millions are in executive positions.

00:25:12.700 So my whole thing is let's cancel the contracts and let's staff up with MAGA. 0.99

00:25:18.840 Yep, suck on that, McCabe. 0.99

00:25:20.440 McCabe, you're so worried because you know the crimes. 0.99

00:25:23.020 But you know when the hands are gotten on the records and we start going through the receipts, what's your future portends?

00:25:30.540 Ben Harnwell, your thoughts, sir?

00:25:33.040 Well, Steve, look, it's not just the FBI.

00:25:36.100 It's the DOJ-FBI complex.

00:25:39.260 And both of them, both of these institutions together either need abolishing in the case of the FBI or fundamental reform in terms of the DOJ.

00:25:50.000 And the other point I'd make on this is that it's not so much the law.

00:25:56.020 And this is where I might differ a lot, I think, with MAGA on this.

00:26:00.100 The political prosecution of Donald Trump, what gets me here fundamentally isn't so much the law or the stacked trial in New York.

00:26:09.640 It's the disequal application of the law.

00:26:12.900 That is, I think, the fundamental thing here, you know, how it is that certain people are going to be sent to prison for, in their words, not cooperating with a congressional subpoena.

00:26:25.880 And yet sort of 20 years ago, Eric Holder, no, excuse me, 2012, Eric Holder wasn't.

00:26:31.640 That was a vote, by the way, in Congress that was bipartisan.

00:26:35.360 We had Democrats voting for contempt of Congress there.

00:26:39.300 The DOJ did nothing in his case, who was vice president back in 2012.

00:26:44.260 It was Joe.

00:26:45.300 Nobody is above the law, Biden. 0.92

00:26:47.160 So it's just the hypocrisy of the regime.

00:26:49.660 I think that really, really gets under people's skin.

00:26:53.120 And that is what I – the anger behind that, I think, is what's going to drive fundamental, necessary reform in the next coming Trump mandate.

00:27:01.580 Guys, hang on.

00:27:05.400 I'm going to hold you through the break.

00:29:34.600 Publicans in Congress just voted that we should leave our allies altogether, that we should break up the Big Western Alliance, that we should defund NATO.

00:29:43.780 And I think nobody really paid attention to this vote because this legislation was put forward by a very fringe member of Congress, a member of Congress who is known for her publicity stunts.

00:29:55.080 And she is therefore eager to, eager, sorry.

00:29:57.580 I am eager.

00:29:58.240 She is easy to ignore.

00:30:01.740 But it wasn't just her.

00:30:03.800 46 Republicans voted for this thing.

00:30:06.740 A fifth of the Republicans in Congress last week voted to defund NATO.

00:30:11.180 Don't just forget being the leader of the free world.

00:30:16.020 Forget the whole idea of there being a free world at all.

00:30:19.400 They saved that for the anniversary of D-Day.

00:30:23.100 46 Republicans voting to defund NATO.

00:30:25.540 Yeah, Rachel, because most of those nations in NATO were on the other side of the football, are neutral, leaning towards Hitler. 0.60

00:30:37.500 Ma'am, you've got to learn your history.

00:30:39.860 Much to learn your history.

00:30:40.860 The fringe member of Congress now joins us, Marjorie Taylor Greene of Georgia.

00:30:45.860 Rachel Maddow is not happy with you.

00:30:47.540 The ruling elites of this nation are not happy with you, Congressman Greene.

00:30:51.100 Can you explain what you were trying to accomplish?

00:30:53.000 Well, of course she's not happy.

00:30:56.040 Rachel's never accomplished anything real in her entire life.

00:30:59.440 She's only lied on television for a living. 0.99

00:31:02.440 You know, I've run a company, a construction company, most of my adult life before I came into Congress, Steve.

00:31:09.100 I know what it's like to be an American and a business owner, working hard every single day.

00:31:14.940 And Americans are fed up with funding and paying for the defense of other countries.

00:31:20.980 While our country is overrun and our border is ripped wide open, and we have people, millions and millions of people from over 160 countries around the world coming in, taking our jobs, sleeping on our streets, taking over our schools, taking over hotels, taking over our cities, and getting in our police officers' spaces, committing crimes, and murdering Americans. 0.99

00:31:44.780 We're fed up with it.

00:31:45.960 And NATO, all these European countries, they don't pay their fair share.

00:31:51.820 So why should America continue to pay for the defense of all these other countries when they are unwilling to even pay their fair share?

00:32:00.960 It's the right thing to do.

00:32:02.480 That's not a fringe thing to do.

00:32:03.900 That's a pro-America thing to do.

00:32:06.080 And that's something that Rachel Maddow has no understanding and doesn't even know what it's about. 0.84

00:32:10.940 We just have a report out of the Daily Telegraph from London that the United States has approved funds that has been voted by the House and the Senate, part of that $61 billion, to the Azov Brigade, which is, you know, a neo-Nazi or from Nazi origins.

00:32:28.220 Rahim and Ben Harnwell from Rome, we're going to get into this in a moment as soon as you bounce.

00:32:32.160 Didn't you ask for accounting?

00:32:34.500 Didn't you ask to make sure the money wasn't stolen, to make sure Zelensky and his buddies weren't put in the pocket, which I understand is like 10% right off the top?

00:32:42.900 But do you approve, or the other Republicans approve of the money after you asked for forensic audits, money going to a Nazi battalion fighting under the control of Zelensky and his generals?

00:32:55.300 Absolutely not, Steve.

00:32:57.680 From the beginning, day one, I've always fought against funding this war in Ukraine.

00:33:02.920 I've never voted to send a penny.

00:33:05.220 And as a matter of fact, this week is an extremely important week to talk about Ukraine.

00:33:09.240 We'll be doing the National Defense Authorization Act this week in Congress.

00:33:13.940 Once again, I will be introducing my amendment that no money should fund the Ukraine war coming from our own military funding.

00:33:22.100 The NDAA is such an incredibly important bill.

00:33:25.680 It's the funding of the Department of Defense.

00:33:27.880 And the Department of Defense mission is to protect national security interests of the United States and to protect Americans.

00:33:37.320 Funding a war in Ukraine does the exact opposite of that.

00:33:40.620 It puts us at threat of entering World War III as the Biden administration has authorized the use of military weapons to be fired into the interior of Russia.

00:33:50.700 And in the same time, Steve, while they're funding the Azov Battalion, which are Nazis, they don't want to talk about any sort of peace plan for Ukraine, which goes completely against any idea of supporting Ukraine.

00:34:06.520 If you support Ukraine, you support peace for Ukraine and the Ukrainian people.

00:34:10.560 You don't support making sure that you fund a war where they keep getting murdered on the battlefield and you're wiping out an entire generation of young men.

00:34:19.660 But it's even more dangerous, Steve, as we're funding, as the United States is continuing to fund the Ukraine war, as they're funding Nazis while they're calling President Trump Hitler and accusing us of being Nazis.

00:34:31.460 They're funding Nazis with our own hard-earned tax dollars.

00:34:35.820 The scarier part, Steve, is BRICS just recently or is about to hold a peace summit that the United States won't even be a part of.

00:34:44.760 We won't even take part in this massive conglomerate of countries all around the world that are going to stop using the dollar for their currency in their trade with one another.

00:34:56.740 They're going to completely destabilize our economy, tank our dollar to levels that none of us could ever think was possible.

00:35:05.120 And this is all happening while America is filled with bloodlust and murder to continue this war in Ukraine. 0.50

00:35:13.280 We're really looking at dangerous times for the United States.

00:35:17.880 Bringing a point you bring up about the BRICS, because the Swiss peace conference LUNC is going to have is going to go nowhere.

00:35:23.120 That Global South peace conference is really going to make things, really going to get to a peace deal, I think.

00:35:29.100 Why does she call you, why does Rachel Maddow call you a fringe member?

00:35:32.600 Correct me if I'm wrong.

00:35:33.940 When you led the charge in Gates and others about the Ukraine funding, over the half of the conference voted, I think, not to fund it.

00:35:40.840 And Mitch McConnell lost his really minority leadership over breaking his pick on Ukraine funding.

00:35:46.280 That does not sound, does that sound fringe to you, ma'am?

00:35:49.380 No, it's not fringe at all.

00:35:50.780 When over half of the majority of the majority, over half of Republicans voted with me to stop funding Ukraine, to stop funding Ukraine and our NDAA last year.

00:36:02.980 And by the way, Mike Johnson was one of them.

00:36:05.240 He was one of the Republicans that voted for my amendment.

00:36:08.160 That's not fringe at all.

00:36:09.520 That means most Republicans agree with this.

00:36:11.800 It's also not fringe, Steve, because most Americans also agree that the United States should not be funding a war in Ukraine.

00:36:19.980 So when we're going to talk about the question, if we're going to ask the question, who is fringe?

00:36:24.480 It's actually Rachel Maddow is the fringe person in this story.

00:36:30.420 It's not me.

00:36:31.540 It's Rachel Maddow.

00:36:36.180 Congressman Green, there's an op-ed today in the Washington Post from Merrick Garland saying unfounded criticism of the FBI is dangerous.

00:36:43.980 The unfunding of the FBI and DOJ, the continual hammering by the MAGA right in Congress is dangerous.

00:36:51.520 Is he correct?

00:36:52.840 Is it unfounded criticism that you and Matt Gaetz and your other colleagues are bringing up about the Justice Department and the FBI, ma'am?

00:37:01.080 No, none of it's unfounded.

00:37:02.900 As a matter of fact, you know, I introduced articles of impeachment against Merrick Garland.

00:37:09.200 And I wish that my Republican colleagues had the guts to impeach him because that man should be impeached.

00:37:15.320 She's led the Department of Justice and politically weaponized it against President Trump, against conservatives, against parents, against pro-life protesters, and against anyone that protested the election on January 6th.

00:37:30.020 And the FBI has been the lackey of this politically weaponized Department of Justice.

00:37:35.480 I'll tell you something, Steve, right now.

00:37:37.620 It's not unfounded, but here's what we should do with the Department of Justice and the FBI.

00:37:43.700 We need to rip both those departments apart. 0.98

00:37:46.480 We need to break them down and systematically rebuild them.

00:37:50.320 We have to remove all the people, the resistance people that were planted there back when Obama was president.

00:37:56.780 And we have to pull out all these people that are completely, completely against America.

00:38:02.740 They're against our Constitution.

00:38:04.820 And they are there for a weaponized authoritarian justice system. 0.60

00:38:10.140 And that's the most terrifying thing to most Americans today.

00:38:13.300 They cannot believe this has actually happened.

00:38:16.220 And I think my Republican colleagues need to get tougher.

00:38:19.640 I'm tired of being one of the few in Washington that's calling for this.

00:38:23.640 The Republican Party needs to wake up and see exactly what's happening, not only to thousands of people from January 6th, but to people like you, Steve, and Peter Navarro.

00:38:36.720 And I'll tell you something else.

00:38:38.520 I'm very frustrated with our speaker.

00:38:40.740 I'm very frustrated with our Congress.

00:38:42.980 We should be doing more to stop what has already happened to Peter Navarro and what is going to happen to you.

00:38:49.320 That January 6th committee is completely a sham, fake committee.

00:38:55.080 Nancy Pelosi broke the rules when she set it up. 1.00

00:38:58.280 She set it up against the House rules. 1.00

00:39:01.120 It did not allow the Republicans to serve that were appointed to the committee.

00:39:06.000 They also destroyed all the evidence from last Congress from the committee.

00:39:10.060 That right there makes that committee completely, completely taken apart.

00:39:17.000 Its authority should not stand.

00:39:19.860 We should be holding those members accountable.

00:39:22.640 They should be under investigation and perhaps should be indicted for destroying evidence from a congressional committee.

00:39:30.740 And you should not have to serve time in prison.

00:39:33.360 Peter Navarro shouldn't be in prison.

00:39:35.560 So I think my Republican colleagues need to step up.

00:39:38.200 They need to be stronger.

00:39:39.200 They need to quit just running their mouth. 0.79

00:39:43.140 Congressman Green, you were out.

00:39:44.720 You're one of the president's biggest supporters.

00:39:48.080 You're a very close advisor to him.

00:39:50.140 You were out in the Nevada heat this Sunday at the rally.

00:39:55.160 I don't know.

00:39:55.580 It looked like 110 degrees.

00:39:57.320 Not bad for a gal that just had her 50th birthday, by the way. 1.00

00:40:01.100 The president's going to be in town this week.

00:40:03.220 And the breaking news is he's going to meet with the GOP House.

00:40:06.060 Sound like the conference on Thursday.

00:40:08.200 What are you going to say in front of the president when you see him on Thursday, ma'am?

00:40:13.020 Well, you know, I'm always honored to stand with President Trump.

00:40:17.680 I'm one of the few that will go out there and meet him where it's inconvenient, difficult, and over 100 degrees.

00:40:25.400 A lot of people like to show up in front of cameras or in the air conditioning.

00:40:29.380 But I'll fight by President Trump's side anywhere.

00:40:32.740 I'm looking forward to him coming to Washington.

00:40:34.880 I've asked him to come meet with Congress, with Republicans in Congress, for a very long time.

00:40:41.320 And I'm very happy to see that it's finally happening.

00:40:44.240 It's time for Republicans in Congress to face him face-to-face and treat him like the leader of the party that the American people recognize him to be.

00:40:54.820 I'm tired of Republicans in Washington always being the last ones to show up to support President Trump.

00:41:01.640 It's time for them to be the first ones to show up to support President Trump.

00:41:05.900 I'm also excited for President Trump to speak at the NRSB.

00:41:10.120 I'm looking forward to him talking to Senate Republicans.

00:41:13.080 And those are some of the Republicans that seriously need to come around.

00:41:16.600 They need to bend the knee and realize that President Trump's policies are the policies that Republican voters want across the country and not the moderate uniparty policies that they have been promoting and voting for in Washington for a very long time.

00:41:33.420 Congressman Greene, if we don't win the great state of Georgia, the peach state, President Trump will not be the president.

00:41:38.880 We've got to win Georgia.

00:41:39.760 I know you're very concerned that there's not enough focus on stopping a potential steal down there.

00:41:44.840 Your thoughts, ma'am?

00:41:45.580 I am very concerned about my home state of Georgia.

00:41:49.660 Steve, thank you for bringing that up.

00:41:51.140 You know, there's a lot of great people here in our state that have been fighting ever since 2020, doing everything they can to uncover the fraud that happened here.

00:42:00.780 And there's been a lot of great work that has proven it.

00:42:04.020 And we have serious, I still do not trust Fulton County, even though we've changed our election laws.

00:42:10.280 Fulton County cannot be trusted.

00:42:12.080 Neither can DeKalb and neither can Gwinnett.

00:42:14.340 This is something that will – I won't trust it until I actually see the results.

00:42:20.500 But I know Georgia supports President Trump.

00:42:23.300 I know for a fact we are not a Democrat or even a purple-type state.

00:42:28.180 We are a red state.

00:42:29.500 And we are Republican through and through.

00:42:31.980 But the Democrats have Georgia as their top target.

00:42:35.780 And the evidence of that is Joe Biden picked Georgia to be the first location of the presidential debate that's coming up later this month.

00:42:45.140 That is a signal that should be heard around the world that should be heard, especially in every acre of the state of Georgia.

00:42:52.160 Because the Democrats are going to target Georgia, not only in this presidential election, Steve, but in the next governor's race.

00:42:59.280 But they want to take Georgia.

00:43:01.660 They want to take a hold of it because Georgia is the jewel and economic hub of the southeast.

00:43:07.320 We have the third-largest port in the country.

00:43:10.840 And everything runs through Georgia here in the south.

00:43:14.080 So we need everyone here at home in Georgia.

00:43:16.900 And I'm working very hard on it.

00:43:18.160 We are going to be building rallies.

00:43:19.920 We are going to be building support for President Trump.

00:43:22.600 And we are going to be straightening out our issues in the Georgia GOP so that we can be a force to be reckoned with.

00:43:29.660 We rejoice when there's no more.

00:43:31.680 MTG, just hold through the break for a minute.

00:43:34.740 Can't pay the IRS?

00:43:36.420 You haven't filed in a while?

00:43:38.160 Receiving threatening letters?

00:43:40.720 Hey, it's about to get worse.

00:43:42.460 You know why?

00:43:43.020 The IRS is hiring an army of agents targeting hardworking Americans like you.

00:43:48.280 They ain't going after the billionaires.

00:43:50.080 They're coming after you.

00:43:51.860 And you need warriors on your side.

00:43:54.760 You need Tax Network USA.

00:43:56.420 Tax Network USA has a brilliant strategy to solve your IRS problems quickly and in your favor.

00:44:02.880 For instance, they discover a limited special offer that the IRS is willing to waive $1 billion in penalties.

00:44:10.040 Let me repeat that.

00:44:11.240 The IRS is prepared to waive $1 billion in penalties.

00:44:15.760 But you have to find out today whether you qualify.

00:44:20.160 Never let the IRS come at you alone.

00:44:22.760 Let Tax Network USA's attorneys handle it.

00:44:27.140 They have preferred direct lines to the IRS.

00:44:29.660 They know which agents to work with and which agents to avoid.

00:44:34.000 They've resolved over $1 billion in tax debt and offer a best-in-class guarantee.

00:45:03.040 That's taxnetworkusa.com.

00:45:06.200 Here's your host, Stephen K.

00:45:10.440 Okay, there was a lot there.

00:45:14.480 I've got Raheem and I've got Ben Harnwell.

00:45:18.480 Ben, well, Raheem, you just got it up.

00:45:20.620 I want to talk about Azov Patan.

00:45:21.940 We've got a lot to go through, what MTG just said, the big issues.

00:45:24.420 President Trump coming to Washington.

00:45:26.760 He's going to talk to the Business Roundtable, so the business guys, because remember,

00:45:29.740 all the business guys are coming back now to Trump as supplicants after they bailed on him

00:45:36.220 after the election was stolen.

00:45:40.360 Of course, his audience didn't.

00:45:41.800 You had his back for the entire time.

00:45:44.640 He's going to meet with the Senate.

00:45:46.000 He's going to meet with the House.

00:45:46.920 He's the Republicans.

00:45:47.960 It's going to be Thursday.

00:45:48.920 It's going to be a big day, and we will be covering it wall-to-wall.

00:45:53.080 Raheem Kassab, and I know Ben wants in on this because Ben has covered this from the beginning

00:45:56.740 too, as you have, and I tip my cap to you two guys.

00:46:00.020 Along with Posobiec being, I think, the original people that brought this up a couple of years

00:46:04.220 ago.

00:46:04.800 And when you brought it up, you guys were mocked and ridiculed that, oh, you were Putin's

00:46:10.200 things.

00:46:10.640 It was all a lie.

00:46:11.760 This never happened.

00:46:13.280 None of it.

00:46:14.540 Daily Telegraph reports, and it's also broken down and analyzed over at National Pulse, your

00:46:20.420 site, that the United States of America has given the okay that our money, our taxpayer

00:46:26.460 of money will go to funding the Nazi Azov Brigade, sir.

00:46:32.040 Yeah, there's a lot to cover here, and I'll try and run through it all very quickly.

00:46:37.960 Look, number one, let's start at the most important part of this.

00:46:42.340 This is a direct, a direct attack, contravention, attempted negation of Vladimir Putin's very

00:46:54.820 opening gambit when he launched the military operation in Ukraine.

00:47:00.560 And that's what it's designed to be, by the way.

00:47:03.280 This is a provocation.

00:47:06.100 It is intentional.

00:47:07.500 This is not a strategic decision that you needed to take necessarily on the battlefield.

00:47:12.900 This is an attempt at kind of a—to lure a great big attack from Russia in to then be 0.77

00:47:22.420 able to go back to the American public, to the European public, and say, see, look, the

00:47:27.260 bad man is doing bad things.

00:47:29.140 We need more money.

00:47:30.060 We need more moral support.

00:47:31.720 We need more shoulder to the wheel for Zelensky and Ukraine. 1.00

00:47:37.200 And this is indeed, in fact, an attempt to further his position, as you know, as we saw

00:47:42.600 this weekend from lots of reports across not just the British press but all around the world,

00:47:47.080 how much pressure Zelensky is under recently, how much the court around him is corrupt and

00:47:54.700 what that's doing to morale on the ground.

00:47:57.200 And of course, you know, we know, we know what problems the Ukrainians have now in terms 1.00

00:48:02.180 of recruitment, in terms of the age of the average age of the people that they're putting

00:48:06.460 on the front lines, the average way that they are fighting.

00:48:09.760 And even in the small pockets, even in these small neighborhoods, getting absolutely clowned

00:48:14.860 in some areas that just six months ago, they said, oh, no, they're fine.

00:48:19.020 We're never going to lose that.

00:48:20.020 Not a problem.

00:48:20.520 But let's talk about Azov real quick.

00:48:23.860 The Azov Battalion has absolutely, there is no doubt about it, this has been reported

00:48:28.600 for years and years and years and has absolute direct links to neo-Nazism.

00:48:33.340 This is not something that is disputed.

00:48:35.400 This is not something that even they dispute.

00:48:37.500 What they say is that they have undertaken a PR operation to change their image and to

00:48:43.820 try and kind of put a lot of those things in their past.

00:48:45.880 They've not, by the way, said, oh, and we and we divest of that and we and we repudiate

00:48:50.940 all of that and we're sorry about that and we would never adhere to those principles.

00:48:55.580 And no, they don't say that.

00:48:56.580 They say we we're trying to soften our image.

00:48:59.660 And of course, one of the biggest lobbyists in the world at the moment, what we reported

00:49:05.280 just a couple of weeks ago was former British Prime Minister Boris Johnson.

00:49:09.900 He is a lobbyist for neo-Nazis and it looks like the efforts of his lobbying have been

00:49:16.500 targeted at Joe Biden, at the U.S. State Department and beyond and been successful, Steve.

00:49:24.740 Ben Harnwell, it is a disgrace that this deal was cut or okayed over the commemoration,

00:49:31.240 while Biden was over there in the commemoration of D-Day, of which American, British, Canadian

00:49:36.900 troops, French, Polish, gave their lives going up against Rommel and the Wehrmacht and the

00:49:43.020 Nazis.

00:49:43.760 How could how could how could any U.S. president use the commemoration and have and bring Zelensky 0.96

00:49:50.020 first off, which is a disgrace?

00:49:51.740 Because remember, at least 50 percent of the Ukrainians fall on the side of the Nazis, right?

00:49:57.540 And including many of the people that are going after Russia today.

00:50:01.860 Russia was our ally.

00:50:02.920 The Russian people were allies, which they try to airbrush out of this.

00:50:05.780 But how could this happen, Ben?

00:50:08.220 And you've reported that there's actually Nazi brigades of Russians, ultra-nationalists

00:50:14.120 fighting for Zelensky.

00:50:15.180 How could the American people be funding this? 0.93

00:50:18.760 Steve, it's disgusting.

00:50:20.740 Joe Biden and Vladimir Zelensky basically trampled over the memory of heroes on D-Day, instrumentalized

00:50:30.800 that event in order to, as you say, sort of broker this deal, this climb down.

00:50:38.400 Steve, I've still got my notes open on the computer from yesterday's show, where we spoke

00:50:45.100 about Naomi Klein, who was having a meltdown on British television, panicking over the normalization,

00:50:52.140 in her words, the normalization of the far right.

00:50:54.500 And we said yesterday, less than 24 hours ago, there is no evidence whatsoever that this

00:50:58.880 is the case.

00:50:59.760 Steve, this is the evidence that the far right is being normalized. 0.88

00:51:04.480 It's being run by our sociopathic overlords.

00:51:09.220 I have to build on a point that he was making, however.

00:51:13.400 Let's go to the Hill from today, OK?

00:51:19.040 Direct quote.

00:51:20.080 The Azov Brigade is among Ukraine's most effective and popular fighting units, but has been dogged

00:51:25.940 by its origins as a volunteer battalion that drew fighters from far right circles.

00:51:32.080 That's what the Hill says today.

00:51:34.100 You want to know what the truth is?

00:51:35.280 We need to go to what the Hill was saying back in 2018, when Congress passed a bill that

00:51:41.600 prohibited the funding, the arms exports from the United States to the Azov Brigade.

00:51:47.560 And that's what Raheem was referring to.

00:51:49.060 This is what the Hill said in 2018.

00:51:52.260 And it referred to the Azov as a controversial ultra-nationalist militia that has openly accepted

00:52:00.180 neo-Nazis into its ranks.

00:52:03.280 His representative, Roe Kanna, Democrat, white supremacy and neo-Nazism are unacceptable and 0.93

00:52:10.220 I have no place in our world.

00:52:12.340 This was the guy who drafted the amendment to that spending bill.

00:52:16.860 He says, I am very pleased that the recently passed omnibus prevents the US from providing

00:52:23.020 arms and training assistance to the neo-Nazi Azov Battalion fighting in Ukraine.

00:52:29.240 This has been, oh, let me, last one.

00:52:31.420 But a spokesman for the group, the Azov group, defended it, telling USA Today in 2015 that

00:52:37.540 only 10 to 20 percent of recruits are neo-Nazis.

00:52:43.980 This is what the, this is the truth.

00:52:45.780 You've got to go back.

00:52:46.760 The internet never forgets, right?

00:52:49.200 That's the truth.
