Stephen K. Bannon and Julie Kelly join host Stephen K.K. Cannon to discuss the potential replacements for Justice Samuel Alito and Justice Kennedy, and how they would fill the Supreme Court if Donald Trump were elected president.
00:05:00.300Talk to us about this race and also talk to us about the folks out in your district.
00:05:05.160What would their thoughts be about, would they be melting down if you had to put Ten Commandments in the schools out in that part of Colorado, ma'am?
00:05:12.440Certainly not in rural Colorado and Colorado's 4th District.
00:05:17.880I think that this is something that we need all throughout our nation.
00:05:20.820And I'm so proud of Governor Jeff Landry.
00:05:23.920He's a wonderful man, a great friend of mine.
00:05:26.460And I'm glad that he's in that position and taking action because we need morals back in our nation, back in our schools.
00:05:33.580And if there's anything that we are going to present in front of our children, it's going to be, it should be the word of God.
00:05:39.280Because this is the one truth that is never going to change and never going to leave them.
00:05:44.600It's not some woke fad of the day that you can get canceled for believing in 10 years from now.
00:05:51.120So I don't think that it's bad to have something that says, honor your father and mother so that you will live a long life.
00:05:58.780That is the first commandment that has a promise attached to it.
00:06:02.440I don't think that it's bad to teach children that adultery is something that you should not do.
00:06:07.220And also listed in the Ten Commandments, thou shalt not steal.
00:06:11.140And maybe the left and some of these politicians are having a meltdown over having that right there listed in our classrooms.
00:06:20.780Thou shalt not steal is because government hates competition and they don't want our children to realize that that's something you shouldn't be doing.
00:06:28.500Let's go to this campaign because, you know, at first this was pretty, you know, the media was all over you.
00:06:37.540Now you're at, this Kaplan Strategies has you at 40%, nobody else really within hollering distance.
00:06:46.040Yes, well, it happened because I've traveled all throughout Colorado.
00:06:50.320I've traveled all throughout the 4th District.
00:06:52.080I've been known in this state for several years now, even before I ran for office, because I was advocating for our children in schools to get comprehensive sex ed out of our schools, to close the loopholes in our state that allow illegal aliens to vote in Colorado elections.
00:07:07.280I was working to repeal the National Popular Vote Compact, and so I've been doing the work in Colorado, and I am a trusted conservative voice here in this state.
00:07:17.960But in the 4th District, I've traveled all 21 counties multiple times, and I've been meeting personally with voters, hearing their concerns, and offering solutions on how I can deliver even more for Colorado.
00:07:30.840I've been doing that legislatively for some time now, but it's only going to get better and more effective when we get President Trump back in office.
00:07:40.100I've earned that top line on the ballot, but also, Steve, we have a special election on the same day because Ken Buckle vacated his seat.
00:07:52.020He resigned from Congress, reducing our already slim majority.
00:07:55.360And now we have Greg Lopez, who is our Republican nominee, and on everyone's ballot in the 4th District, it is the bottom section, and I need folks to go all the way through their ballot and fill in that bubble for Greg Lopez because we need to increase our House majority, and I need Greg to fight for CD4.
00:08:15.180Right now, I'm even doing a lot of the constituents' casework from my CD3 office, making sure that Coloradans have a voice and proper representation.
00:08:25.360And Ken Buck, when we walked away, there's no constituent services at all.
00:08:33.300The people just left out there, whether they want an appointment to the Naval Academy or some help with some border issue or whatever, you're the only one that can help them out?
00:08:42.580Steve, there is still congressional staff.
00:08:45.140I just have heard a lot of them not being as responsive as they should be.
00:08:49.560And so we're stepping in for a lot of these issues and doing double the work, so covering 80 percent of Colorado's landmass and ensuring that that representation isn't lacking like it would if I weren't there and my team to answer those calls and help those constituents.
00:09:07.060You know, I wanted to have you on today anyway, and then, of course, the lead story in The Washington Times, Boebert has a big primary lead in her new district, which is kind of a blowout story.
00:09:17.680Everybody back in D.C. is talking about it.
00:09:19.580But I wanted to have you on because, CBO, you're one of the biggest budget hawks and spending hawks in Congress, and the folks at Colorado 4 will be very well represented.
00:09:31.600You were on here a year ago when we said, hey, this deficit, they said it's going to be $1.2, $1.5.
00:09:35.840It's $2 trillion, as we said, and the number is actually going to be much higher.
00:09:39.440What do the folks out in Colorado 4 think about a government that spends over $7 trillion a year and runs a $2 trillion deficit that we finance just like a credit card with 90-day T-bills, ma'am?
00:09:54.140Well, here in CD4, of course, everyone is not only disgusted, but they're impacted by the reckless spending in Washington, D.C.
00:09:59.440They're impacted by Joe Biden's war on energy here in America, so we can no longer develop our energy and sell that to our allies, export our energy, and create that revenue from it.
00:10:13.160And unfortunately, Steve, in this primary, our primary is next Tuesday, June 25th, and I have five opponents who all would have voted yes for the near $100 billion deficit spending for the supplemental aid,
00:10:27.060that money that we just borrowed from China.
00:10:29.200They're all finding reasons to advocate for it and attack me for voting against that, to be fiscally responsible and say, no, either we secure our southern border first, put America first, and take care of our debt, find pay-fors for the supplemental aid, or we don't do it at all.
00:10:45.320If we do not protect our own country, then there's not going to be an America to stand for our allies in the future.
00:10:52.280What are your folks, you know, President Trump is going to be sentenced probably to prison on July 11th.
00:11:00.080What do the folks out in CD4 think about this weaponization of DOJ against President Trump, ma'am?
00:11:06.300Steve Bannon, it's exactly what you hear all the time.
00:11:09.140People are frustrated with what the DOJ is doing to you.
00:11:12.060They are frustrated with what they're doing to President Trump, and they want it to stop.
00:11:17.280They understand that this isn't just a very important election, but it could be the last most important election of our lifetime if we don't get this right.
00:11:26.160They are sickened by what happened to President Trump.
00:11:29.460And I believe that there are many, many Democrats, many Democrats that I have spoke to,
00:11:34.020who are also so sickened by the weaponization of the federal government towards political opponents that they are saying, I'm done.
00:12:19.620I'm on Facebook, Lauren Boebert for Congress.
00:12:22.000And my website is laurenforfreedom.com.
00:12:27.040Steve, I've got to tell you, I've got a lot of criticism from my opponents saying that I took money from the third district to run in the fourth.
00:12:34.500But I get small-dollar donations, $17, $22 donations from all over the country because these folks understand that even though they can't vote for me, they can support me, help me in my campaign.
00:12:58.720I am the frontrunner thanks to the faithful voters here in the fourth district.
00:13:03.380It's been an honor to earn their support, and I hope to continue earning even more and proving to them that I will deliver for them every single day in Colorado.
00:13:12.260This is a critical moment in our country where we have got to take it all back.
00:16:18.740Times reports the judge handling former President Donald Trump's Mar-a-Lago classified documents case, Judge Aileen Cannon, rejected calls from two federal judges in Florida to hand off the case.
00:16:31.180This is according to two people briefed on the conversations.
00:16:34.040And the very fact that the conversations even existed is itself remarkable.
00:16:39.020I just want to underscore for you and our viewers, cases in the federal judiciary are typically randomly assigned, maybe not among all of the judges in a particular district.
00:16:47.780Each district has its own procedures for doing so.
00:16:50.680And geography plays into it to some degree.
00:16:53.220But cases are generally randomly assigned unless one or more of, you know, a finite group of exceptions exist.
00:17:21.560So this is the latest attempt to discredit her.
00:17:25.740This is New York Times report that posted today that says, according to their sources, two judges in the Southern District of Florida, the federal bench there, including the chief judge, Cecilia Eltonaga.
00:17:38.880Let's make her name famous, a George W. Bush appointee, went to Judge Cannon after she received the case, special counsel Jack Smith's documents case against Donald Trump, and urged her to give up the case, to hand it off to someone else or to step away from handling that indictment.
00:18:01.320Now, the reason why, and we know why, and we've talked about Judge Cannon now for almost two years, is because she took the unusual and bold move in September of 2022 to appoint a special master.
00:18:14.860This was Donald Trump's lawsuit seeking a third party to vet all of the evidence that had been stolen out of his home at the Mar-a-Lago raid on August 8th of 2022.
00:18:24.780And she, as I said, took this bold step.
00:18:27.220She did appoint a special master, but in the process, Steve, she basically told the DOJ, I don't trust you.
00:18:34.740You've already mishandled evidence from the Mar-a-Lago raid, which we now know is true because Jack Smith himself has confirmed that in court documents.
00:18:45.080And also, she was very concerned about leaks coming out of that investigation to the media.
00:18:50.920And so, she said, yes, I'm going to appoint this retired judge to vet all of the materials and see, you know, what the FBI can get, what they're not supposed to get.
00:19:01.340This put a target on her back way back then.
00:19:04.680So, when this landed on her docket, the Jack Smith indictment, then we saw the public pressure again mount and calls for her recusal.
00:19:12.580But it's not the New York Times piece in itself that's necessarily controversial.
00:19:18.540It is the fact that a chief judge of a federal court district went to another judge and tried to pry out of her hands this politically charged case so they could give it to, what, an Obama appointee?
00:19:35.980There's, I think, five of them on the Southern District of Florida.
00:19:39.620I think there's two Clinton appointees.
00:19:41.600Of course, George W. Bush appointees, we don't trust them either.
00:19:45.800So, why was this judge overstepping her boundary?
00:19:50.780She's not Aileen Cannon's boss in any regard and try to convince her to give up that case.
00:19:58.260So, Steve, I think this is something, again, House Republicans need to look at.
00:20:02.340It was a federal judge doing the political bidding of the Joe Biden DOJ, Jack Smith, and the media to try to get Judge Cannon to give up this case.
00:20:23.040You're calling on the House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jim Jordan to do what exactly and for what reason?
00:20:29.220To find out whether Chief Judge Cecilia Eltonaga, a George W. Bush appointee, attempted to interfere in this politically charged case, unprecedented case indictment.
00:20:45.440The first indictment ever, remember, the classified documents indictment came before the Washington J6 case.
00:20:52.840The very first criminal indictment of a former president was this federal judge interfering in the judicial process there and trying to get Judge Cannon, who had already indicated her distrust of DOJ and how the investigation was conducted.
00:21:14.040Did Judge Eltonaga attempt to interfere in the process of this case?
00:21:21.400House Republicans need to find out if that is the case and who the other judge was that went to Aileen Cannon and tried to take that case.
00:21:30.720You're implying that the actual judiciary, the bench, is maybe colluding with the Justice Department and Merrick Garland and even Jack Smith.
00:21:47.880So, again, the New York Times kind of did us a favor.
00:21:50.420If behind the scenes, it's one thing to listen to Andrew Weissman or Rachel Maddow or all the other lunatics on the left call for Judge Cannon's recusal.
00:22:01.240It is another for a sitting federal judge to overstep her bounds, which it sounds like the chief judge did in this matter,
00:22:10.020and tried to do DOJ, Jack Smith, and the media's bidding to get this case out of Judge Cannon's courtroom.
00:22:17.220Now, that has not been confirmed, but I find it very hard to believe, honestly, that the New York Times would report this without knowledge that this is exactly what the chief judge in southern Florida attempted to do.
00:22:30.260Are we going to get Fisher tomorrow morning, ma'am?
00:22:48.800Of course, immunity, the Chevron decision, the Missouri case of big tech colluding with the Biden White House, other big cases that we're waiting for.
00:22:56.160So they have to give us something tomorrow.
00:22:59.460So I'm hopeful that it's Fisher, the 1512 C2.
00:23:03.060One of the opinions that was published today, oral arguments were heard the day before Fisher.
00:23:09.020So it's not like they're doing this in sequential order.
00:23:13.760So and Steve, breaking news today, it appears that the Supreme Court did add another opinion day next Wednesday,
00:23:20.720because, as I said, they've got 18 more cases, 18 more opinions they have to publish by June 30th or maybe perhaps July 1.
00:24:23.180A poll out that Matt Gaetz has put a big tweet up at.
00:24:26.540Emerson poll, very legitimate poll, very well-known, probably one of the best polling companies, particularly in liberal areas in our country.
00:24:36.140The death knell for a politician is incumbent, particularly a well-known incumbent who ran for president below 50 with Royce White, D. Royce White at 37.
00:24:47.160And President Trump, I think in a dead president, Trump's going to take this state.
00:25:00.160I mean, my campaign has the truth on its side.
00:25:02.440It has a long, longstanding track record of failure and failed promises and promises on their side, especially on Klobuchar's side, who's in lockstep with Joe Biden on many, many issues.
00:25:14.140So we're going to do everything we can to take advantage.
00:25:20.100We feel good that after we really kick things into gear that we're going to move 37 percent up very fast advertising dollars or spending other things like that.
00:25:32.120Well, they tell you that, you know, the undecided's 11 and look like, you know, normally two-thirds to 75 percent of that will break against the incumbent because they already know it.
00:25:40.800If you do that math, I mean, this race may be within the margin of error.
00:25:45.320Give me your best pitch about how you're taking it to Klobuchar.
00:25:49.440I realize you've got this kind of weird, you've already run the convention, you've got this weird kind of primary, but you're kind of in general election mode.
00:30:18.600Steve, there's 62,000 votes cast, tremendous high number of votes for a primary in Virginia.
00:30:23.600And we're separated right now by 300 votes, less than right around half a percent, certainly within the margin that calls for a recount to be paid for by the state.
00:30:33.920And we're in the canvassing procedure right now.
00:31:48.320And why would a Republican opponent want to do – why would – given voter integrity, who on earth that's a Republican would start two hours early and not wait for the other guy to show up?
00:32:01.400Well, you're absolutely right that everyone should want to make sure that every legal legitimate vote is counted and only every legal legitimate vote is counted,
00:32:09.260that we follow the intent of the voters to perfect accuracy on those who participate in this election, some 62,000 at this point, that the voter intent is reflected by the accurate tabulation counting of every legal legitimate vote.
00:32:23.520And no illegitimate or illegal votes are counted, of course.
00:32:27.300And so we're working through that process county by county right now in the preliminary review.
00:32:31.700But, Steve, we're going to have a full recount.
00:32:34.800We're going to have a full investigation.
00:32:36.020It's going to stretch out for a couple of weeks.
00:33:04.140The 2020 election was stolen, and we're never having another election stolen.
00:33:09.260That is what we've kind of sworn together as an oath, as a group, as a movement.
00:33:13.280And how possibly another Republican can go down there and his people, and you should be ashamed of themselves, and I'm going to get the names, and we're going to start naming names.
00:33:41.860So tell me about this canvassing process.
00:33:45.300Well, we have got representatives at every county, every city, obviously, across the district.
00:33:50.040You're allowed to have as many observers there as you want in terms of its open public meeting.
00:33:54.960They try to prevent us from recording the meeting, Steve.
00:33:57.740It's an open public meeting, so of course we can record it.
00:34:00.460But they try to prevent us in several of these locations from recording it.
00:34:03.300Why wouldn't they want it to be recorded?
00:34:04.600If everything's upstanding, everything's legitimate, there's no concern and no intent to do anything except honor the voters' intent, why would they not want us to record it?
00:34:11.920Well, we met some resistance trying to record it.
00:52:51.300Shortly after the government pushed through the Patriot Act.
00:52:53.800This gave the government power to spy on innocent Americans by monitoring our phone and email and tracking our movement across the Internet.
00:53:02.660Now, Jim Rickards, editor of the independent financial newsletter Strategic Intelligence and New York Times bestselling author, is warning about a coming event that could elevate this governmental surveillance to a terrifying new level.
00:53:15.480In fact, some of the guests I've had on the war room believe that the government will soon expand their powers to track our every move.
00:53:23.260If we say the wrong things on social media, donate to the wrong causes, buy firearms, or even vote MAGA, the government may be able to shut us out of our bank accounts.
00:53:33.620I can't say for sure if this will happen, but it's an interesting and dire warning.
00:53:39.800Fortunately, Jim Rickards, an American patriot and friend of mine, has made it his mission to educate us on what he believes is coming and how to protect yourself from the possibility of programmable money.
00:53:51.620Watch Jim's warning video now, before it's censored like I've been in the past.
