this is the primal scream of a dying regime pray for our enemies because we're going to medieval
00:00:10.360
on these people here's not got a free shot all these networks lying about the people the people
00:00:17.000
have had a belly full of it i know you don't like hearing that i know you try to do everything the
00:00:21.080
world to stop that but you're not going to stop it it's going to happen and where do people like
00:00:24.680
that go to share the big line mega media i wish in my soul i wish that any of these people had a
00:00:32.900
conscience ask yourself what is my task and what is my purpose if that answer is to save my country
00:00:40.700
this country will be saved war room here's your host stephen k bann
00:00:47.400
welcome back harnwell here at the helm we have mike davis and jenny beth martin um look i just
00:01:00.460
wanted to i didn't intend when thinking about the show um before we went on air to hit this point
00:01:07.400
but something that i've always wanted to talk to both of you about and hear you all together
00:01:12.220
is the lowest learner um issue this was the director uh i think uh in charge of political
00:01:18.600
exemptions at the irs and back in the day uh in in under the um when there was the tea party movement
00:01:27.220
ascendant um and barack obama was in the white house there were a number of politically uh prioritized
00:01:37.460
tax audits of the uh tea party uh movements jenny beth you were just saying just before the break
00:01:44.120
that that your organization was audited um there was a big scandal there was a congressional inquiry
00:01:51.540
here's the point i want to make she was actually lois lerner was actually subpoenaed by congress
00:01:57.580
to um to to come um and appear she did some half-hearted attempts at uh at invoking the fifth
00:02:06.960
amendment and which i think congress refused to accept because she'd already started speaking
00:02:12.620
about the the issue of of of her uh of her diamond the doj right you know what um
00:02:19.860
merrick garland's nobody is above the law the doj did they press charges on low lois lerner no
00:02:28.080
she ignored that congressional subpoena right steve bannon is in prison for four months
00:02:33.500
for for for doing exactly what lois lerner did right this is this is the two-tier nature of
00:02:42.100
the contemporary uh judic judiciary right two-tier nature one set of rules for one set of people
00:02:50.120
another set of rules for another and it's in your face and it's brazen um i'm going to ask mike in a
00:02:56.120
moment just to his just to to recap this from the legal perspective in terms of congressional
00:03:02.780
subpoenas but jenny ben uh seeing as you're on the show could you just recount for us uh what that was
00:03:09.220
what that was like your um when you had that tax audit by the ios yeah so it amounted to an audit it
00:03:17.420
was a approval process for us to get our determination for our non-profit status you have to have that
00:03:25.000
determination it's a 501 c3 and a 501 c4 um designation from the irs normally it takes four
00:03:34.260
to six months to get that or it did all of a sudden when tea party groups uh and groups with tea party
00:03:40.360
or patriots and ours is tea party patriots and their names started applying to the irs it didn't
00:03:46.420
take four to six months or even a year it took over three years maybe even closer to four years
00:03:52.860
before we finally got our approval in fact we got our approval by phone to our attorneys the day before
00:04:00.420
i testified before the united states senate that's how we wound up getting our approval and that this
00:04:07.580
is just absurd that's absolutely crazy but that's what what happened with us it may have been the united states
00:04:12.580
house but but that's how we got it lois erner went before congress i think it was the oversight committee
00:04:19.860
i may not remember the committee exactly right but she went before congress she read a statement and
00:04:25.540
then she pled the fifth so she opened up herself to ask questions but she wasn't able to be
00:04:31.060
cross-examined at all and she then pled the fifth i was sitting in the room when that happened they
00:04:37.300
objected to it and they just wound up ending the the entire hearing and she did nothing and um the irs
00:04:45.140
commissioner had no no real consequences against him the um local people who donated to tea party
00:04:53.620
groups there was testimony in congress that if you donated to a tea party group you were six times more
00:05:00.740
likely to be individually audited i had people across the country including a world war ii veteran who
00:05:07.140
came up to me shaking holding a sheet of paper with tears in his eyes asking if he was being targeted
00:05:13.780
by our government because he donated to my organization it was appalling we tried to get charges against her
00:05:21.060
peter roscombe a former congressman tried to get charges brought against her and they did nothing the
00:05:27.220
doj did nothing they never even interviewed the with the the people who were the victims of it it was appalling
00:05:34.260
um mike davis you're one of the the greatest legal minds i know right you're listening to this is
00:05:44.020
there a statute of limitations here or is it possible that uh once trump returns to the white house if if
00:05:52.900
the republicans still control uh the house of representatives is it possible that things can um
00:05:59.300
um that that that uh a trump appointed attorney general can still prosecute lois learner for her
00:06:06.740
outrageous illegality well even if we're beyond the statute of limitations then she couldn't plead the
00:06:13.540
fifth if she doesn't face criminal liability you can actually get to the bottom of it if you can uh that
00:06:18.580
that that's the problem is is you had her going in to congress and she gave a statement and then she pled the
00:06:25.780
fifth well you can't do that but the obama dc u.s attorney declined to prosecute the case because
00:06:32.100
he's a partisan hack of course uh but you know it just shows that obama was the og for this weaponization
00:06:41.300
of our law enforcement of the justice department of the treasury department the irs of our intel agencies
00:06:48.020
to go after their political enemies while they protected their political allies like lois learner and
00:06:55.220
this is on steroids right now under the biden kamala regime where they have gone after trump they've
00:07:03.060
tried to bankrupt him they've tried to throw him in prison for life they tried to take him off the
00:07:06.980
ballot they tried to have his head taken off when they underfunded his secret service detail on purpose
00:07:12.660
denying several requests and this is just part of the lawfare and election interference and this is why
00:07:19.140
it is so important that we focus on election integrity over the next three months and these republican
00:07:26.500
and conservative and right-thinking lawyers and election officials and judges understand
00:07:33.060
that the article three project is going to have your backs when you fight for election integrity because
00:07:40.020
the democrats uh have proven in the past that they are very good at rigging and stealing elections they just
00:07:48.020
did it they just did this in a bloodless coup against president joe biden the democrat nominee for
00:07:56.020
president who got a 14 million presumptive nominee who got 14 million democrat primary votes and they
00:08:04.580
threw those out the window and they installed kamala harris in a bloodless coup so i don't want
00:08:10.900
to hear democrats talking about democracy or election integrity they're the biggest hypocrites in the
00:08:17.380
world they're the tyrants who don't believe in following elections amazing mike um your uh where can
00:08:25.460
they go where can folks go to to to learn more about the article three project and to follow your
00:08:30.980
analysis and commentary i reposted you on on x the other day i never i i didn't do anything on on getter
00:08:37.220
on on twitter or x i reposted you the other day uh where do people go to to to to keep up with your
00:08:44.180
options well trump's back on x so i guess we can all be back on x uh it's uh article three project
00:08:51.140
dot org article number three project dot org you can take action there we're going to have a lot
00:08:56.420
more action items going up on our website on election integrity you can donate to help fund us keep the
00:09:02.180
lights on and then you can also follow us on social media and i also want to commend jenny beth
00:09:08.260
for what she's been doing for many many years she's truly a patriot and warrior
00:09:14.740
thank you so much for that mine i second i second that wholeheartedly jenny beth where do people uh
00:09:21.300
go to stay up with tea party patriots and and your own commentary and output thank thank you both so
00:09:28.260
much um go to tea party patriots dot org tea party patriots dot org and then you can follow me on on x and
00:09:36.500
instagram and other places jenny beth m jenny beth m as in martin and i think mike davis you do amazing
00:09:43.460
work and i'm so glad that you're doing so much for election integrity
00:09:49.460
thank you mike davis jenny beth martin both of you thanks very much for coming on the show and just to
00:09:55.620
repeat the point steve bannon is sitting in a federal prison right now for doing exactly what lois um
00:10:04.980
lois lerner uh director of of political exemptions of the ios uh had also done refused to obey a
00:10:14.180
congressional subpoena in fact steve said he wasn't refusing to just to say the point he never said he
00:10:19.460
wasn't going to obey the subpoena he said he wanted a judge to clarify that uh that he was that
00:10:25.060
that the executive privilege applied for by president trump didn't apply in this case because
00:10:30.980
otherwise steve bannon argued he would in fact be breaking the law um so so there's the difference
00:10:36.180
between the two one of them gets the pass one of them goes to jail that is the nature of uh sadly of
00:10:42.500
um of the politicized or weaponized doj in america today and i would like to see a future
00:10:49.380
trump administration take that weaponized doj and apply it back with equal ferocity to the very
00:10:56.900
people who perverted it both of you thank you very much for coming on the show today god bless
00:11:01.620
thank you um natalie dominguez from home title lock is here with us today to talk about the case
00:11:10.500
just a few days ago in new york of a 90 year old uh who found himself dispossessed of his own home
00:11:17.620
natalie good morning to you could you tell us a bit more about this shocking case hi ben good morning
00:11:23.220
yeah i'm gonna be honest there's one thing that there's one thing that pisses me off the most it's
00:11:28.100
when people take advantage of the elderly and i'm sure many of you guys can relate so the story might
00:11:32.180
be a little hard to hear but imagine being 90 years old living in the same house for 50 years and then
00:11:37.300
all of a sudden someone comes up and is like hey your house is no longer yours and you were being evicted
00:11:42.260
so yeah this is happening right now to a retired brooklyn contractor named ray because an acquaintance of
00:11:47.460
his that he'd met through a religious organization and a now disbarred lawyer managed to convince
00:11:52.820
him that he needed to transfer the deed out of his home as part of a loan process for home renovations
00:11:58.820
but don't worry they reassured this at the time near 70 year old man that everything would be
00:12:04.580
transferred back when the project was finished and ray did say that later they gave him a piece
00:12:09.860
of paper saying that the house was transferred back but sadly the family knows now that it was never
00:12:15.060
legally filed with the county and keep in mind ray initially paid twenty thousand dollars for this
00:12:20.420
house in 1969 it's now worth over three million and the scammer ended up taking out a mortgage of
00:12:27.700
about seven hundred thousand so when the loan was never paid the property was eventually foreclosed on
00:12:33.460
and sold at auction in 2018 all while ray was still living in the home and he didn't know any of this
00:12:38.820
was happening until the llc that bought it at the auction one day showed up with an eviction notice
00:12:44.580
and what gets me the most ben is that all it took was someone with bad intentions and a single
00:12:48.900
piece of paper to just change this man's life it's absolutely insane that's a shocking story um
00:12:58.980
so people are listening to this and i guess are they is everyone similarly vulnerable as this this
00:13:05.540
90 year old guy um to exactly the same thing or does it affect certain types of home position how
00:13:12.180
does it work well on paper everyone's vulnerable if you own a home this could happen to you
00:13:18.580
unfortunately when it comes to people yes the elderly are our most vulnerable population
00:13:23.700
you know people take advantage of their trusting nature a lot of people not knowing how technology
00:13:28.100
works you know the laws change i mean my grandparents are nine years old and this
00:13:32.100
absolutely terrifies me it and it really hits home there i mean now they're in this huge legal battle
00:13:38.740
with this company trying to kick him out of his home they've reached out to the new york attorney
00:13:42.740
general's office to try to halt the case because they passed that law last year where now leticia
00:13:47.940
james they can halt an eviction if if they believe it's fraud but they haven't even heard back from
00:13:53.380
the office at least from what we know right now with the story but yeah this story and stories exactly
00:13:59.140
like this are exactly why we do what we do you know sometimes it's even just someone's lack of financial
00:14:04.580
resources but yeah elderly homes in more gentrified areas things that you know didn't cost a lot but have a
00:14:10.900
lot of equity in them now um i don't know i just with my grandparents and just people in general my
00:14:17.140
heart just really breaks for this man and and his family uh thanks nathan so 30 seconds uh what do
00:14:25.380
what do folks do what do the posse do if they can send them they want to double check their own

00:16:18.020
welcome back hornwell here at the helm filling in for steve bannon uh open primaries today in
00:16:30.020
minnesota uh and therefore who better to talk about uh ilan omar and her chances of being uh primaried
00:16:40.100
uh this was of course let's let's we forget member of the squad whom uh royce white tried to to to to
00:16:46.500
remove back in the 2022 cycle but laura looma laura good morning to you um you're here to
00:16:53.700
this morning to galvanize the war room posse members up in minnesota yes absolutely thanks for
00:17:00.580
this opportunity and for those who are listening who live in minnesota particularly those who live
00:17:06.660
in minnesota's uh fifth congressional district which uh includes uh brooklyn center st louis park
00:17:13.700
richfield crystal robbinsdale golden valley new hope fridley and a small portion of adina uh
00:17:19.700
please make sure that you're voting today in the minnesota open primary you can go and request a
00:17:25.540
democrat ballot you do not need to be registered as a democrat you could be a republican you could be
00:17:30.100
an independent you can be a democrat and vote uh for ilhan omar's democrat opponent a guy by the name of
00:17:36.740
of don uh don samuels because he almost beat ilhan omar in 2022 uh it was the difference of 2600 votes
00:17:44.900
and so ilhan omar is terrified because she knows that this uh democrat on the ballot has a really
00:17:51.300
good chance of removing her he's not as radical and this doesn't mean that you have to vote democrat
00:17:56.820
in a general election you can vote to remove ilhan omar by voting for her democrat opponent today
00:18:02.820
requesting a democrat ballot and it's completely legal this is uh the purpose of an open primary
00:18:08.820
it allows for people of all affiliations uh to vote for who they want but um bring a friend call
00:18:15.380
your friends polls close at 8 p.m minnesota time we have a real shot to remove another hamas loving
00:18:22.340
member of the squad uh which would be consistent with the current trend line as we've seen jamal bowman
00:18:27.380
and cory bush also have been removed uh clearly if i'm wrong but congresswoman omar is married to her
00:18:35.460
brother right yeah so ilhan omar as i had uh helped expose back in 2018 she married her brother and her
00:18:45.060
brother of course is a homosexual man and this was not done because she wanted to you know have sexual
00:18:50.180
relations with her brother it was done to help him commit student loan fraud and so ilhan omar is um
00:18:57.380
yes she's married to her biological brother uh but now she's actually married to her one of her
00:19:03.780
political consultants who she's funneled over three million dollars of her campaign funds to and so
00:19:10.340
you know she ended up uh disrupting a marriage and had an affair with uh with her uh political
00:19:16.900
consultants and now of course uh we've seen that uh he's been involved in in multiple marriages right
00:19:23.460
including uh the one with her brother to commit immigration fraud uh it's just one of the many
00:19:28.340
things that ilhan omar has against her uh in this in this campaign season it's one of the reasons why
00:19:34.660
she's completely unfit to be in office but unfortunately the republicans have really not
00:19:39.700
taken advantage of this opportunity to galvanize republicans and independents to remove uh one of the
00:19:45.460
the biggest national security threats uh in our congress today and that's the fact that we have
00:19:50.660
a full-blown jihadist okay a muslim woman who refuses to assimilate who took her oath of office
00:19:56.740
on the quran and pledges allegiance to allah and refuses to condemn hamas and the muslim brotherhood
00:20:02.980
and advocates for members of isis in her community yes these are all things that ilhan omar has done
00:20:08.500
that has no place in our congress but unfortunately the republicans are too scared of being called
00:20:13.860
islamophobe and islamophobic to do anything about it so you know we're gonna lose our country and we're
00:20:20.500
going to witness an islamo-fascist communist takeover if this red-green alliance is allowed to continue
00:20:27.940
god forbid president trump doesn't get into office unless we take things into our own hands and remove
00:20:32.820
the jihadists before they remove us so um jamal bowman lost his primary cory bush lost her primary
00:20:43.540
now you're you're hoping for for a third in a row here so look um folks up in minnesota uh laura luma
00:20:51.700
once again what do they need to do to make voice white smile today well you got to go to the polls and
00:20:59.300
you need to go request a democrat ballot and you have to request a democrat ballot for the
00:21:04.260
sake of voting and disrupting the open democrat primary and vote for don samuels in minnesota's
00:21:12.020
fifth district and this will then allow your ballot to be counted against ilhan omar regardless of
00:21:19.380
whether or not you're registered democrat as i said this is an opportunity for republicans and
00:21:24.420
independents to do what democrats often do to us in states where we have open primaries
00:21:29.220
play in the race take advantage of a legal opportunity to remove a hamas supporter from
00:21:35.300
congress so if you haven't already done so and you're listening and you live in uh one of those
00:21:39.940
one of those towns in the fifth district please find your polling location i tweeted a link it's on my
00:21:45.540
twitter people can go find their polling location and please cast a ballot for don samuels okay i'm not
00:21:53.060
asking you to change your registration and vote democrat in the general election i'm just saying
00:21:57.620
cast a ballot for the democrat so that the democrat can be ilhan omar in the primary
00:22:03.620
and that's all we need to do you know a lot of people don't play in these primaries but you have
00:22:07.540
a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to disrupt the primary and remove ilhan omar and it can happen
00:22:14.020
well look um in the world when 99.99 of people who call themselves journalists are just propaganda
00:22:24.100
peddlers for the regime you are a serious journalist doing original investigative work and i pay tribute
00:22:32.820
to that you mentioned your twitter account just now laura uh where do people go to to stay in touch
00:22:38.660
keep up to date with your output yeah they can go to my uh my twitter and my true social at laura
00:22:45.060

00:22:56.020
coverage of this minnesota primary tonight so hopefully i'll be celebrating tonight like i was last
00:23:02.260
week when cory bush uh lost her primary but um again i know that the war room reaches people and also
00:23:08.260
be safe reaches people all over the world for those listening in minnesota call everybody you know
00:23:14.420
post on your social media get your neighbors go to the polls and vote for don samuels because i'll tell
00:23:19.860
you if we get 5 000 republicans and independents to the polls to vote for don samuel over ilhan omar
00:23:26.980
she will be removed from office we just need 5 000. laura loomer thanks very much for coming on the
00:23:33.060
show today god bless thank you yeah thank you for having me on thank you um okay so um moving from
00:23:42.500
a small metaphorical warp in minnesota to the larger theater uh the kinetic theater um of the
00:23:50.740
middle east captain finnell and dr thayer good morning to you we're going to talk now uh get some
00:23:58.740
updates on what's going on there uh especially regarding uh iran's imminent attack on israel
00:24:05.220
that's expected any day this week that could kick off a third world war uh and then run up really to
00:24:11.780
to the elections i wonder how that the factors the consequences of that we'll also talk i think a
00:24:17.540
bit about ukraine i'm up in the the kursk region um first time since the russia's invasion i think
00:24:24.900
uh ukraine has substantially entered russian territory according to you the ukrainians they
00:24:31.060
have about a thousand square kilometers that also is an important dynamic and i and i'll go into why
00:24:37.380
in the u.s context shortly um but captain finnell let's start with you um and then go to dr thayer
00:24:44.740
good morning uh can you give us a an update what are the developments here um in in with regards
00:24:51.140
iran's expected uh attack on israel well good afternoon for me and good morning for you ben
00:24:58.980
thanks for having us on uh right now you know as you said there's an expectation that an attack
00:25:05.620
could come at any moment uh and so how do we find indications and warning at a tactical nature it's
00:25:12.340
going to be pretty hard for us in the in the public domain to be able to you know have the kind of
00:25:16.900
sources that would tell us when an attack is is you know actually going to happen within minutes or
00:25:21.700
hours but it's possible you know at any time uh in in iran has basically said so much is that they're
00:25:28.180
going to retaliate uh there's some rumors about some kind of brokered peace deal that would leave
00:25:33.460
hezbollah and hamas in place uh but i don't think that's uh likely i think that iran is going to strike
00:25:40.020
back uh there's possibility they strike outside of israel and some other interest to israel in another
00:25:45.940
location uh again i don't think that's likely either i think there will be an attack on israel
00:25:52.100
with a massive amount of force from iran and that and because of that the us has been moving
00:25:59.220
forces into the region secretary of defense austin ordered the uss abraham lincoln carrier strike group
00:26:05.940
to make best speed to actually go faster than best speed to get to the gulf she's in the south china
00:26:12.100
sea right now they also for some reason publicly announced that they were going to escort the
00:26:17.780
abraham lincoln with a nuclear guided missile uh submarine an ssgn to go along with it probably
00:26:27.780
because the the carrier can out speed the destroyer and cruiser escorts that are conventionally powered
00:26:33.620
so the the lincoln will be out there to join the teddy roosevelt all in the area of the gulf of oman or
00:26:39.700
possibly even entering into the the persian gulf uh and then we have uh an expeditionary strike
00:26:45.540
group of the wasp out in the eastern mediterranean and we have a number of surface combatants that
00:26:50.500
are associated with those strike groups uh that are you know applying the waters of the eastern
00:26:55.380
mediterranean the red sea and in the gulf of oman so we're gearing up as if there's going to be some
00:27:01.220
kind of an attack it's uh unfortunate it's a little bit too little too late in some ways if they do launch
00:27:07.300
this attack uh so that's what i'm concerned about is we're seeing the movement on u.s forces that
00:27:13.220
reflect an imminent attack um dr thayer if you could start your response to this question um then we've
00:27:21.860
got about 40 seconds and then we'll go for an outbreak and then we'll come back to you quickly quickly
00:27:27.780
right though if if um if america is is withdrawing from the south china sea is america's setting it says
00:27:37.380
spreading itself too thin with regards to the chinese theater 30 seconds yes it is uh and so uh aircraft
00:27:45.860
carriers are precious commodities and we have too few uh of them and so carriers that are going to be
00:27:52.020
uh supporting potentially will be supporting centcom in the middle east are not present in the indo
00:27:57.700
pay calm area and that uh you know this is a tremendous vulnerability uh with the united states
00:28:04.740
and our allies and partners like taiwan and allies like philip so it's a very dangerous situation
00:28:12.420
another day another breaking news story buried they rather talk about anything else than what's
00:28:17.060
really going on it's not because they don't know what's happening the media pundits and talking heads
00:28:21.860
just don't want to pay any attention to it and they particularly don't want you paying any attention to

00:31:01.140
um dr thayer um the taiwanese i guess are sweating under their collars just a little bit more and this
00:31:12.820
week with regards to um american semi i won't say semi-withdrawal that might be slightly exaggerating
00:31:20.180
it but america is over expanding itself herself ukraine uh the persian gulf
00:31:26.820
um and um and drawing battleships out of the south china sea um before returning to the middle east just
00:31:37.940
just give us a a quick two minutes on what this might mean for the chinese situation and president
00:31:44.420
xi's long expressed desire to retake taiwan well ben it's a very important issue even in the best of
00:31:53.860
circumstances we don't have enough conventional power uh in the area around taiwan in the philippines and
00:32:01.380
so with uh the uh carrier moving to uh the persian gulf or in in that area of course uh we have even less
00:32:12.420
uh conventional might uh in that area which is not a positive thing when you're attempting to deter
00:32:18.100
uh an attack from xi jinping against taiwan or against uh the philippines and so aircraft carriers
00:32:26.980
are important because of their tremendous military capability but also as symbols of american might of
00:32:34.820
american power and so having these symbols uh sail uh obviously into the middle east is important for
00:32:42.260
iran and the israel dynamic but of course hurts us in the indo-pacific because we simply don't have
00:32:48.900
enough conventional might so we're having to make trade-offs and those trade-offs in the best of
00:32:54.980
circumstances are dangerous but particularly when we're dealing with a hyper-aggressive leader
00:33:00.340
uh like xi jinping who presently is aggressing against the philippines at second thomas shoal uh and
00:33:07.620
uh consistently uh against taiwan as well um and of course it's not a coincidence is it china iran russia
00:33:19.380
these countries are all allied um and so that they're prodding at america's the limits of america's
00:33:25.940
capacity here in a concerted effort that you know we we can see this i think quite clearly and there's
00:33:31.460
no reason to believe by the way that they will finish with these three countries um captain
00:33:37.300
fanel can you just uh just say a little bit here because um how many with regards to israel how many
00:33:46.180
protectorates around the world do you think america is able to to cast its shield over with any degree of
00:33:56.180
success uh moving forward israel is effectively a protectorate right of the united states um
00:34:04.900
what's in the middle east now um is it going to be a time for choosing is as we're running up to an
00:34:11.620
election period we're with the american economy assuming an extra um trillion dollars every few
00:34:19.860
months is this election campaign going to be a time for choosing for america to decide what
00:34:25.620
the american taxpayers can afford to protect around the world and what it can't afford to take and we'll
00:34:31.300
come to ukraine on that subject in just a moment right ben we are in a position where we're becoming
00:34:38.740
increasingly out of resources as brad mentioned to where we are being stretched and you you know you
00:34:45.620
say we're going to the ukraine event that we can talk about what's happening and the investment we're
00:34:50.340
making right now with military force to go into the middle east uh and then the clearly the issues in the
00:34:56.260
in the pacific the western pacific with china so these are areas where any one of them the baltic
00:35:03.460
the you know the black sea the mediterranean now the the persian gulf and the gulf of oman or you
00:35:09.700
get out to the western pacific they're all areas where we need to be present and so when a flare comes
00:35:14.660
up or a fire comes up in the middle east we're sending an inordinate number of our resources there to
00:35:20.740
cover down on that as we should for a treaty ally but it's costing us because now the chinese are
00:35:27.860
using this absence of the lincoln to have their carrier the shandong operate in the south china sea
00:35:34.100
and in six days from now there'll be a major exercise on the korean peninsula ultra freedom shield
00:35:40.340
that the u.s and south koreans do each year and so will we have a carrier for that and oh by the way we
00:35:45.380
just got out of a very extensive exercise in the hawaiian op area called rim pack rim of the pacific
00:35:51.700
exercise where the uss carl vinson was operating she's heading back to the west coast and on top of
00:35:57.780
it all you have our four deployed carrier which has been the uss ronald reagan she's on the west coast
00:36:03.620
now and she's going to be turning over with the uss george washington carrier strike group so right now
00:36:09.540
when the lincoln departs through the strait of malacca and heads out into the indian ocean we will
00:36:14.340
not have an aircraft carrier patrolling inside the first or second island chain as we wait for
00:36:19.540
the swap out between the reagan and the gw so we're at least a couple of weeks away from that so
00:36:24.580
all of this is timing right now is to the advantage of beijing and moscow and tehran to probe and check
00:36:31.860
and test us and pyongyang to see where we're the least able to cover down and what choices this
00:36:38.020
administration will make and really it's a reflection on the lack of preparedness that this
00:36:43.380
nation has taken towards its conventional and nuclear military force structure over the last 35
00:36:49.780
years as we forgot about great power competition with the soviets and bought into everything about
00:36:56.020
the peace dividend and all that that we talk about in our book up here that side embracing communist
00:37:01.940
china america's greatest strategic failure we forgot about china and we forgot about that we needed to
00:37:06.900
have this large force structure to be able to cover all of these crisis areas around the world
00:37:11.780
not for not for dominion but to cover our own national interests and those of our friends
00:37:21.620
yeah i don't have any objections to starting off this point with talking about america's vital
00:37:25.860
national interest pivoting quickly to ukraine i saw something yesterday in the news um and my queue
00:37:33.700
here for denver is the punch bowl article a headline pro ukraine republicans looked avert a funding lapse
00:37:41.380
in january and it's basically senator tom tillis um who's described as a pro quite accurately as a pro ukraine
00:37:49.860
republican along with his fellow travelers is organizing now for january whichever the administration is going to
00:37:59.380
be uh because uh the awareness that the famous 61 billion dollars to ukraine that was passed um back
00:38:07.140
in june is going to start running out so they're now republicans um republicans that is to say underline
00:38:13.780
here republicans are taking the initiative um to prime the the levers of power to get more money coming
00:38:21.620
through for ukraine now i would have said um if i'd have seen this astonishing uh maneuver that they're
00:38:29.300
being so public about this this is not going to go down well with republican voters and i think with the
00:38:34.660
with the larger tax paying american public more widely um three and a half months to the election uh what
00:38:43.780
i would have said a couple of days ago forget it there's no chance and then something extraordinary
00:38:49.700
happened which i have to say took me somewhat by surprise and that is a military success for the
00:38:55.540
ukrainians in the war up in the kursk region according to ukraine they've got about a thousand
00:39:01.940
square kilometers the russian count is a lot less um obviously um but they have themselves admitted to
00:39:08.500
having evacuated some 75 000 russians from there now one of the principal arguments it seems to me for
00:39:16.500
republicans for america first republicans in in the arguments and the debates and regarding further
00:39:23.220
continued funding to ukraine was that this money wasn't it was just wasted going down the drain
00:39:29.780
because uh because the borders between ukraine and the the contested borders are now digged in um
00:39:38.180
neither is a war of attrition and america can't afford to to finance ukraine's side of that attrition any
00:39:45.060
longer i wonder and i ask you to start with you captain finnell um i wonder whether does this incursion
00:39:54.020
the successful incursion from from president selensky into russia does this change that dynamic dynamic
00:40:00.020
does it make it more uh viable that americans might have to pony up another 61 billion in january
00:40:08.020
i think that's clearly the intent of uh this this push is to draw attention to the fact that ukraine
00:40:16.660
is not lost and that we need to continue uh and i'll say it pouring money down the the drain uh for
00:40:23.300
an ongoing war we need to stop and get off this uh vicious cycle of fighting in these wars and funding
00:40:30.820
these constant wars as opposed to resetting our national defense structure and our ability to
00:40:37.860
have the kind of conventional and nuclear power force that would prevent the continuation of these
00:40:43.700
these endless wars that's the real issue we need to stop and get off the hamster wheel and we need to
00:40:48.980
start building up our navy and our air force and our nuclear arsenal to the extent that no one would
00:40:54.420
think of doing this or that if we jumped in or said something that we could quickly cauterize it
00:41:00.500
which we haven't been able to do in the ukraine which we haven't been able to do in israel which
00:41:04.660
we're not doing in the far east so we have a problem here we're addicted to the current war
00:41:10.260
but we're never preparing for the future long-term great power conflict dr theo uh one minute if you
00:41:17.620
will um do you think this is the moment for for for the trump campaign to come out with a very coherent
00:41:24.420
and decisive position on an unambiguous position on further funding to um to ukraine it is an
00:41:33.540
opportune moment uh to do that but um uh sadly with this war of attrition ben there are going to be
00:41:40.260
others uh because this conflict uh unless there's true leadership uh if trump returns to office this
00:41:48.340
conflict is going uh to uh to to continue much like world war one did on the western front so ukraine's
00:41:57.380
invasion of russia is peripheral it's a sideshow uh designed to attract attention as a jim uh illuminated
00:42:06.500
the center of gravity of this campaign is the donbass where you have very intense force to space ratios
00:42:12.340
where russia's uh effort is so um we need to keep that in mind but the fundamental point remains the
00:42:19.860
same the chinese communist party is the center of gravity here it's driving these conflicts whether
00:42:26.340
it's iran or whether it's uh russia uh and ukraine through its support for potent its support for iran
00:42:33.540
and iran's uh proxies and that underscores again the hyper aggressive nature of the chinese communist
00:42:42.100
party it's the problem uh in international politics it's the security threat for the united states
00:42:49.460
and as jim said we need to restructure we need to recognize that and adjust to it and president
00:42:56.340
trump certainly would do that uh if he's uh in office after november 5th dr thayer 10 seconds your
00:43:04.020
social contacts uh i'm at uh bradley thayer at getter and bradley thayer truth and brad thayer
00:43:12.100
uh at x in our book as jim mentioned embracing communist china america's greatest strategic
00:43:16.580
failures available wherever you buy books captain finnell your contacts
00:43:26.900

00:44:25.460
and immerse yourself in information today in arizona politics are now not only endorsing kamala harris for
00:44:32.100
the president but actively working to help her campaign by reaching out to republican voters who
00:44:36.980
feel marginalized by trump's mega movement one of the biggest reasons i'm voting for kamala harris and
00:44:44.420
i would have voted for joe biden is that they are not donald trump we are here to send a clear message
00:44:49.540
arizona's are rejecting donald trump and his failed leadership another trump term with jd vance would be far
00:44:55.860
worse and would lead our country down a path that i don't think we could ever recover from the republican
00:45:02.500
mayor of mesa arizona john giles a leader of the republicans for harris movement gave a powerful speech
00:45:08.180
at the sold out harris walls rally outside of phoenix on friday i do not recognize my party it has been
00:45:16.740
the republican party has been taken over by extremists that are committed to forcing people
00:45:29.940
in the center of the political spectrum out of the party
00:45:35.700
gina swoboda chairman chairwoman of the arizona republicans um good morning thanks for coming on
00:45:44.100
the show so we've just seen there in the clips um all the rhinos are being flushed out and they're
00:45:49.460
saying they're not going to vote yeah my response bring it on all right this is this is really what
00:45:55.620
that i think the trump revolution is about it's about america first patriots taking this party back
00:46:02.420
and flushing all all the pretend fake chamber of commerce and um um country club republicans
00:46:12.340
flushing them out of the party all they've done is grifted off the party for for decades um i was
00:46:17.940
delighted to see your candidate carrie lake down in arizona say uh in an interview i think it was
00:46:24.500
with punchbowl um they were trying to suggest you're going to moderate you're going to come
00:46:28.020
to the center and she said you know i i'm not moving my positions and my positions are where the
00:46:33.860
the majority of arizona's are um what's your what's your take on this on on you know are you is carrie
00:46:41.300
going to be hit by all the um all the john mccain um acolytes saying they're not going to vote for
00:46:49.140
for trump or vance is she is she is she going to be damaged by that down in arizona thank you so so a
00:46:54.900
couple of things uh to unpack there one um i would be shocked and it would be news if mayor giles
00:47:01.300
actually endorsed a republican so that's number one that that guy uh has endorsed um uh biden and
00:47:09.620
obama and he apparently keeps the republican brand on his voter registration but he he doesn't vote
00:47:15.940
republican based on his endorsements the other two people in that clip i mean sam campana was was last
00:47:21.460
in office as a mayor in scottsdale in 2000 and the other person robin shaw hasn't been in office since
00:47:26.500
1998. so they're really scraping the bottom of the barrel to try to find uh quote unquote republicans
00:47:32.900
that are supporting what is as as you've discussed uh the the most dangerously liberal ticket i think
00:47:39.300
in history i think this is a more liberal ticket than mcgovern uh was right so that's number one number
00:47:44.980
two i do not believe um giles again one of the things he was saying at at what they're calling a
00:47:50.740
sold out rally but which of course was not open to the public um is that he doesn't recognize the
00:47:56.820
party in mesa where he is the mayor they are forcing girls to share bathrooms with boys so perhaps what he
00:48:04.340
thinks is is centrist middle of the road policy is not where the american people are so i think
00:48:10.020
carries um a wonderful spokesman for the party and for the middle we want everybody i need every single
00:48:17.060
person no matter where you fall in the republican party spectrum i don't think those people are
00:48:22.260
indicative of republicans at all i i don't think there's a person on the ground in arizona including
00:48:27.300
the independents including a lot of democrats they're the ones who don't recognize their party
00:48:31.620
if you looked at bill clinton's platform in 1992 that's far closer to where the republican platform is
00:48:37.300
now than where the democrat platform is i mean these the overton window you know that we like to discuss
00:48:42.020
has gone so far to the left for their party that i don't think people would recognize it that had
00:48:46.900
run in in 92 and 94 and 96 and 98 so i think we're gonna bring home um the the people that were
00:48:54.660
establishment republicans listen there's no runway left for this country so if there are people who
00:48:59.540
are like well i don't like this candidate and i don't like populism so i'm just gonna let it burn and
00:49:04.020
walk away i have a newsflash for them uh you need to vote with us because arizona lost the entire
00:49:10.260
executive branch to basically uh radical marxists in the last cycle when they had an equipment malfunction
00:49:15.700
of maricopa so if i lose the legislature out here if we don't get president trump back to close off
00:49:21.220
that border there ain't no coming back baby uh so they might they better have another plan uh because
00:49:26.660
the plan is not going to be we're going to rebuild um uh the moderate middle that won't exist if if
00:49:32.340
biden gets uh biden and kamala and these people get their way gina just yes or no then so you're with me on
00:49:39.460
this bring it on to the mccain retreads in arizona bring it on yeah where do i want to nuance that
00:49:45.940
i want to nuance that because like i recognize that there are people who who didn't uh want to vote
00:49:53.700
with us okay who were angry about the populist movement but i need them to vote with us i'm not
00:49:58.980
interested in in punching them in the face as much as i am in educating them and saying how can you tell
00:50:04.500
me you support the republican party platform and vote for this radical ticket you can't have
00:50:09.540
it both ways then just come out and say i'm a democrat uh gina that's all we've got time for
00:50:15.860
