00:08:13.780 released from those jails and ordinarily what would happen is those jails would notify ice when they're

00:16:50.660 there's about 30 million non-citizens living in the united states currently um so the they comprise of

00:16:57.300 three different groups they can be legal permanent residents they can be temporary guest workers

00:17:01.460 um or foreign students for example or they can be illegal aliens um and we're getting that number

00:17:07.780 from from census data so again around 30 million non-citizens and i just want to point out that

00:17:14.900 most of them are able to receive both a driver's license and a social security card let's just take

00:17:21.380 the border crossers for example if somebody crosses the border illegally and they get paroled into the united

00:17:26.900 states by the biden administration they're going to get a work permit which then allows them to get a

00:17:30.900 social security number and in 19 states they're issuing driver's licenses to people who are here

00:17:37.460 illegally and all 50 states issue driver's licenses to to non-citizens so it's easy for them to get the 0.98

00:17:50.820 vote in the state that they happen to be living in at the time um so it makes it very easy for them to

00:20:43.860 has been an effort by the biden administration to try to encourage the green card holders

00:20:48.500 to obtain their go through the naturalization process and get their u.s citizenship and that would

00:20:54.020 of course make them eligible to vote in in the upcoming fall election so you know it's it's it's hard to
