Summary

Elon Musk and Vivek Ramaswamy are calling for the U.S. to hire 100,000 more high-skilled workers in the tech sector. What does this mean for the future of the country's tech sector? And what should we do about it?

Transcript

00:00:00.000 Ramaswamy explained why he feels tech companies choose to hire foreign workers over Americans.
00:00:06.140 He boiled it all down to, quote, culture. He wrote in part this,
00:00:11.080 our American culture has venerated mediocrity over excellence for way too long. That doesn't
00:00:16.420 start in college. It starts young. A culture that celebrates the prom queen over the math
00:00:22.300 or Olympiad champ or the jock over the valedictorian will not produce the best engineers.
00:00:27.960 He continued, Trump's election hopefully marks the beginning of a new golden era in America,
00:00:34.100 but only if our culture fully wakes up. A culture that once again prioritizes achievement over
00:00:40.660 normalcy, excellence over mediocrity, nerdiness over conformity, and hard work over laziness.
00:00:47.980 Elon Musk and Rebecca Ramaswamy in this particular case, I think are exactly right. America's ability
00:00:54.500 to attract talent from around the world is basically our economic superpower. The fact
00:01:01.360 that in particular, we've been able to attract high skilled immigrants quite reliably in this
00:01:06.580 country over the past century or so is why we have this enduring leadership in science, tech,
00:01:14.060 and business. So just as an example, of all Fortune 500 companies, about half of them were founded
00:01:20.900 by immigrants or the children of immigrants. And of the Nobel laureates, American Nobel laureates who
00:01:28.000 have received prizes for the hard sciences this century, about 40 percent of them are immigrants
00:01:35.160 who came to this country. So again, this is our superpower. Republican here, I wonder what your view
00:01:40.940 on this is because this is happening within the Republican Party. I mean, these are two top advisors
00:01:45.820 to Trump, the mega world who, you know, are kind of framing this as the true believers who say,
00:01:51.360 you know, we ouster stricter immigration policies. That didn't mean coming with a carve out for high
00:01:56.120 skilled workers that they say are taking American jobs here. Yeah, look, I think with all due respect
00:02:02.120 to Mr. Musk and Vivek Ramaswamy, they should focus on saving federal dollars for the taxpayers and not
00:02:08.800 immigration policy. I understand some of the points that Catherine made, and I agree to an extent,
00:02:14.500 but I think the U.S. should focus more on domestic skill development. Studies also show
00:02:19.540 that H-1B1 exacerbates employers hiring individuals from outside of the country when they could
00:02:26.680 potentially hire minorities, for example, which we know there's a shortage in the STEM fields.
00:02:31.700 There are a significant number of Americans who I think would love opportunities if they
00:02:36.200 had the proper training and skills to operate in those jobs fairly well. So why not start and focus
00:02:42.700 there? I'm not of the support or mindset, Caitlin, that we should let in more than the 60 plus
00:02:49.120 thousand that were already let in into the country. Do we have some deficits? I certainly understand
00:02:54.700 that point, again, to what Catherine was sort of alluding to. But I think by focusing on increasing
00:03:00.160 domestic skill development, you can decrease the furtherance of those deficits by virtue of saying,
00:03:06.300 you know what, we're going to spend more of our time, more of our dollars, educating our own citizens
00:03:10.500 to compete for these jobs versus saying, let's increase to a hundred thousand or maybe even more
00:03:15.600 for employers to bring in individuals from India, which is a predominant country where many of them
00:03:19.900 come from. I don't agree with that at all. And I think folks in the macro world have every right
00:03:24.320 to be angry with Vivek and Elon Musk.
00:03:27.580 To say I agree with Elon Musk and Vivek Ramaswamy, I think they're pointing out the reality that we're
00:03:34.000 living. You could say, and I hear Michael's point, I disagree with it, though, because I think it
00:03:39.040 misses the fact that we want to get to the place where we can maximize the use of our own talent
00:03:43.560 in this country. Let's bring in the best of Bryce from all around the world. Let's really make our
00:03:47.900 economy stronger. Let's become even more tech dominant. That's the way, in fact, to elevate
00:03:52.200 the whole country and to create more opportunity for Americans of all kinds in the tech field. So
00:03:57.180 I don't know why on earth we wouldn't want to grab all the talent out there, especially because if we
00:04:02.100 don't our competitors will. So what are we going to do now? That guy in the corner, Jaeger's his name,
00:04:10.380 some kind of war hero, shot down five Germans in one day. They say he's a natural born stick and
00:04:15.200 rudder man. Express liaison man for the Air Force, I think. You know of any problems with him? Only one.
00:04:22.960 What's that? Holding him back. Major. Say there, Jaeger. Sir. We were just talking to Slick here about the
00:04:37.400 sound barrier. Is that right? And we feel that the X-1 is ready to have a go at it. We think the X-1's
00:04:43.760 got the answer to go beyond Mach 1. If there is any beyond. So what do you think, Jaeger? Well, I'll tell you
00:04:54.820 what, half these engineers never been off the ground, you know. I mean, they're liable to tell
00:04:59.140 you that the sound barriers are brick walled in the sky. It'll rip your ears off if you try to go
00:05:03.100 through it. If you ask me, I don't believe the damn thing even exists. Letras, a drink from Mr. Jaeger here.
00:05:10.520 No, thanks. I got one. So, do you think you want to have a go at it? I might. But since, as you say,
00:05:19.640 this sound barrier doesn't really exist, how much... How much you got? I'm just joking. The Air Force is paying
00:05:28.760 me already. Ain't that right, sir? Well, sure, Jaeger, but... So when do we go? Well, how about
00:05:35.700 tomorrow morning? I'll be there. See you there.
00:05:44.820 How much are you paying him? I think it's $283 a week, a month.
00:05:51.820 Look, I'm not against legal immigration. I think most individuals who voted for Trump aren't
00:05:57.980 necessarily against legal immigration as it pertains to H-1B. But Americans didn't vote for
00:06:03.120 Ramaswamy. They didn't vote for Elon Musk. They voted for Donald Trump in part because of his tough
00:06:08.260 stance on immigration illegally, but also because I assume they believe that the president-elect
00:06:14.100 wouldn't increase the number of individuals coming into the country, even legally, that could
00:06:19.440 potentially negatively impact or disproportionately affect Americans as it pertains to certain types
00:06:25.160 of jobs. And so, again, I go back to my original premise. We need to focus on domestic skill
00:06:30.900 development. I understand what former Mayor de Blasio was saying. We got to bring people in
00:06:34.980 with the goal of getting to that point maybe in the decade or so. I get that. But why not limit the cap
00:06:40.880 where it's at and focus over the next decade of increase in skills within our own people?
00:06:45.720 Most Americans don't want to see good-paying American jobs going to people from India or China.
00:06:51.860 Yeah, but wait a minute. Wait a minute. The competition, the global competition is happening
00:06:55.120 right now. And if we don't grab that talent, sure, Michael, I hear you. But if you don't grab the
00:07:00.960 talent now, someone else does. And if you really want to grow the economy so you'll have that
00:07:04.780 opportunity for Americans, why would you leave talent on the table? You know, grab what you can now
00:07:09.860 and build toward the goal you're talking about. It's not either or.
00:07:13.380 Catherine, final word?
00:07:15.400 Yeah, I would add that there's basically no evidence that bringing in high-skilled talent
00:07:20.980 over the past century has reduced employment for Americans. In fact, the opposite, that these are
00:07:28.920 complementary jobs and that they end up creating these high-skilled immigrants who come in,
00:07:35.020 whether they're founding Fortune 500 companies or otherwise, end up creating a lot of opportunities
00:07:39.580 for American workers and making American scientists more productive.
00:07:43.400 Yeah.
00:07:43.700 Okay.
00:07:44.180 What Americans?
00:07:45.040 Wait a minute. What Americans? Because again, to the point that I made earlier, we know that
00:07:49.940 studies suggest that minorities are underrepresented in these fields. There are a host of other
00:07:54.240 Americans who are underrepresented in these fields. So perhaps they are creating jobs for some
00:07:58.500 Americans, but it certainly aren't Americans that I know or people who look like me, Catherine,
00:08:02.540 with all due respect. So again, I am vehemently against this. We're allowing enough of these
00:08:06.300 people to come into the country as is.
00:08:08.240 These are not substitutes. These are compliments. These are compliments. These are not substitutes.
00:08:14.120 I agree. We need to improve the pipeline for underrepresented talent in tech.
00:08:19.380 Okay.
00:08:19.640 That doesn't mean, you know, kicking out all the global talent.
00:08:23.060 Well, we've got one Democrat at the table who agrees with...
00:08:25.900 Hold on, Michael.
00:08:27.720 Look, President-elect Trump said that we should provide a visa or working permit to everybody
00:08:33.000 who graduates from an American college. I agree. Let's do that. I mean, we have foreign students
00:08:38.100 who come here who study. All we're doing is subsidizing other countries if we're forcing them
00:08:42.840 to go back and not deploy the talents and skills they got here in our country. I hope he listens
00:08:48.140 on immigration to people like Elon Musk, Vivek Ramaswamy, but also takes into account his desire
00:08:53.720 to reduce grocery prices, to reduce housing prices. If he wants to accomplish that,
00:08:58.100 immigrants play such an important role in our economy across the continuum, across the skills
00:09:03.940 continuum, right? From low skills jobs, hardworking to high skills jobs, founders, engineers.
00:09:10.860 They're really a big part of what makes America as prosperous as we are. And as your last panel has
00:09:17.240 said, in many ways, it's our superpower that we have the best and brightest and hardest working people
00:09:22.380 from across the world that want to come here and live the American dream and be part of our,
00:09:27.240 making our country safer, stronger and wealthier.
00:09:57.240 This is the primal scream of a dying regime.
00:10:09.860 Pray for our enemies, because we're going medieval on these people.
00:10:15.040 Here's the time I got a free shot at all these networks lying about the people. The people have
00:10:19.900 had a belly full of it. I know you don't like hearing that. I know you've tried to do everything
00:10:23.660 in the world to stop that, but you're not going to stop it. It's going to happen.
00:10:26.660 And where do people like that go to share the big lie? Mega media. I wish in my soul,
00:10:33.200 I wish that any of these people had a conscience.
00:10:36.820 Ask yourself, what is my task and what is my purpose? If that answer is to save my country,
00:10:43.800 this country will be saved.
00:10:46.780 It's Friday, 27 December in the year of our Lord, 2024. If it was not on your bingo card
00:11:01.800 about we'd have a firestorm on one of the central issues facing this country as we try to make
00:11:09.280 America great again, this situation about our sovereignty and the corollary to that immigration,
00:11:16.360 particularly legal immigration is what we're talking about. Then you haven't been paying
00:11:20.460 attention to a firestorm in the last 48 hours. We're going to break it all down today and tomorrow
00:11:25.360 as we do kind of two special worms going to be fitting in other news too, particularly the hunt
00:11:31.140 for the Speaker of the House. Ukraine, the Middle East, the economy, capital markets, all of it,
00:11:38.640 but we've got to focus on this. And right there, just a series of lies and misrepresentations.
00:11:44.040 I have been on this topic, folks, for, I don't know, 12 years, 14 years, right? And it was the central
00:11:52.080 part of the 20, President Trump's rise to power in 2014 and 15 and his victory in 16.
00:11:59.060 I was honored to be along with Stephen Miller and Jared Kushner in the room with President Trump
00:12:06.700 when on the 25th floor at Trump Tower came for the first time in history, all the tech oligarchs,
00:12:14.360 all of them came to pay homage to then President Trump after this incredible come from behind
00:12:21.000 victory in 2016. And Stephen Miller and I had our little notes and we were all set to go on HB1
00:12:26.320 visas. We thought that would be it. In the room with these guys, and Elon was right, there was a
00:12:32.660 meeting put together by Peter Thiel. HB1 visas kind of took second or third place. The central issue
00:12:39.280 they wanted to talk about was, guess what? The Chinese Communist Party, although most of them
00:12:44.960 were kowtowing to the Chinese Communist Party and trying to figure out how to have a rapprochement
00:12:49.320 and to work with these demons, they were pretty upset. They were pretty upfront about how their
00:12:54.280 intellectual property was being just stolen right in front of them to their face and that
00:12:59.760 Obama's administration and previous administrations hadn't done anything about it, had not done
00:13:05.000 anything about it. Okay, here's how we're going to break it down. We've got Mark Kerkorian from the
00:13:11.600 Center of Immigration Studies. I think one of the top experts, if not the top expert in the country
00:13:17.660 on this HB1 visas, plus other reports about foreign labor taking away American jobs, because everything
00:13:25.760 you just heard right there in pro-HB1 visas are bald-faced lies. And I come at this, folks, I didn't come to
00:13:35.320 this in the last 48 hours. I've been working on this one for 10, 12 years. It's absolutely outrageous.
00:13:43.080 American jobs for American citizen workers. This is a scam, a total scam. And we've got to have a
00:13:52.700 throwdown. Let's have it now. Like Frankie Pantel, what Frank Pantelos says in The Godfather.
00:14:01.900 Let's hit them now while we're strong. We've got Jack Posobiec, Raheem Kassam, D. Gavin Wax,
00:14:07.520 Mark Kerkorian, Laura Loomer, Rosemary Jenks, Darren Beattie. Yep, that is the 27 Yankees right
00:14:14.460 there. We're going to take a short commercial break. It's quite appropriate. Johnny Kahn from
00:14:18.960 Breitbart, one of Andrew's favorite songs. American Heart, the great anthem of the Tea Party,
00:14:26.220 the precursor to the Trump revolution. We're going to take a short commercial break. We're going to be
00:14:30.800 back as we kind of get down into the basics about the right stuff, what it took to make America great
00:14:40.380 and what it's going to take to return the United States of America and her citizens
00:14:45.580 to their former greatness. Short break.
00:14:48.800 It's obvious. The unthinkable continues. Most Americans know something is very, very wrong.
00:15:07.400 The people in charge keep telling you that everything's fine and to stop noticing. But
00:15:11.500 you know better. That's why self-reliant folks are investing in emergency food storage. And you should
00:15:18.340 go to MyPatriotSupply, the nation's largest emergency preparedness company, are the ones you can trust.
00:15:24.960 Go to MyPatriotSupply.com and secure their best-selling three-month emergency food kits.

00:16:04.280 for what's coming. MyPatriotSupply.com. Go there today. Action, action, action.
00:16:11.220 So against, I'm also for big restrictions on legal immigration. Until, until Silicon Valley,
00:16:17.260 until these places have, I don't know, 20% African American and 20% Hispanic and, and kids that can
00:16:23.420 go to college and every college you go to, every engineering school you go to is flooded with
00:16:28.440 foreign students taking American jobs. I don't agree with that. American jobs should be for American
00:16:32.920 citizens. President Trump and I actually disagree with it. President Trump said a couple of months
00:16:37.520 ago, he said, hey, uh, you know, on every, uh, college, every college graduate, right? And every
00:16:44.560 graduate of a, of a community college should have a, um, should have a green card stapled to their
00:16:50.200 diploma. Remember he said this, this was after he came back from having dinner with David Sachs and
00:16:55.040 these billionaires out in the tech billionaires in San Francisco. He said every graduate, foreign student
00:17:00.040 graduate and every graduate foreign student graduate from community college should have
00:17:05.080 a green card attached to diploma. I said, president Trump on the show, I said, we have tremendous
00:17:09.320 respect for you. We love you. We're at your base, but I've got another recommendation. I'd like to put
00:17:14.740 an exit visa on every college graduate, foreign student that graduated from college here in 30 days
00:17:21.160 to leave and go back home and help make their nation great again. And for, and we shouldn't take
00:17:25.480 any foreign students in community colleges. That should be, that should be, that should be for
00:17:30.300 American citizens, particularly for African Americans in, in, in Hispanics. You're never
00:17:34.760 going to get, they're never going to get up the economic chain unless we do this.
00:17:41.000 This whole thing about, oh, we want to get all this and they're only geniuses. That's H1B visas.
00:17:46.920 That's not what it's about. It's about taking American jobs and bringing over essentially
00:17:51.480 I'll become indentured servants at lower wages. Like I told those guys room, Hey, if you got an
00:17:57.160 Einstein every 25 years, come to us, maybe we can make an exception for Einstein. Maybe if it's
00:18:03.880 proven the whole thing's a scam, this thing's a scam by the oligarchs in Silicon Valley to basically
00:18:10.920 take jobs from American citizens, give them to what become indentured servants, uh, from foreign
00:18:17.400 countries and, uh, and, and then pay them less simple to let them into the, uh, to the, to the,
00:18:25.400 through the golden door. Gavin wax. I gave that, uh, interview that kind of kicked this thing off.
00:18:32.400 I think it's your gala, uh, a week or so ago, uh, that went viral. It was from the free press,
00:18:38.680 Barry Weiss, the great free press. You've been on fire, brother. You're, you're like one of the,
00:18:44.100 you know, you're like one of the, uh, you like Socrates in Athens. I mean, you've been on fire
00:18:47.900 the last 24, 48 hours on this very topic. Uh, tell me what, what are we actually talking about?
00:18:54.320 What, what is the real story here, Gavin? Well, we're talking about the heart of the MAGA
00:18:59.780 movement. We're talking about the, uh, very core of president Trump's mandate and it is migration,
00:19:04.860 both illegal and legal. Uh, and what we've seen has been a completely, uh, ridiculous shift for many
00:19:11.960 people, including Vivek Ramaswamy, who ran on a campaign of ending the H1B racket, all of a
00:19:18.440 sudden turn a new leaf, attack American culture, attack Americans, calling them lazy, calling them
00:19:24.140 uneducated, calling them incapable of filling these jobs. When reality, as you mentioned in the open H1B
00:19:30.260 is a scheme by these big tech companies for indentured servants. They bring over not the best and the
00:19:36.160 brightest. They're bringing over entry-level positions, middle-level positions to fill their
00:19:41.460 companies. They're paying pennies on the dollar. They're abusing these workers, giving them little
00:19:46.100 to no benefits. They can fire them at any time and send them back home. It's basically modern
00:19:50.500 indentured servitude. And in the meantime, we're losing hundreds of thousands of what used to be
00:19:56.540 good paying middle-class or entry-level jobs, uh, for Americans, young Americans of all stripes and
00:20:02.720 all backgrounds. It's absolutely disgusting. Uh, it's an insult to the American people and it needs to
00:20:07.660 end. And I think they opened the floodgates, uh, yesterday on X with comments from many of these
00:20:12.940 tech executives that showed their utter disdain, uh, for the American people, for the heartland,
00:20:17.960 uh, for our culture. And this was really turning, uh, into a, uh, a class, uh, debate. It was turning
00:20:24.260 into what you mentioned, elites versus the people, elites versus the populists. And they couldn't argue
00:20:30.160 on the merits because at the end of the day, they simply don't want to pay, uh, American wages for
00:20:35.460 American jobs. They want to pay Indian wages for Indian workers in American jobs. And that's
00:20:40.660 disgrace. By the way, I'm one of the biggest proponents of India. I'm still the acting or
00:20:47.080 interim chairman of the, uh, the Hindu Republican association. I have the greatest respect in the
00:20:51.920 world for Modi and Modi is all about making his country great. He's probably the greatest
00:20:57.160 nationalist on the world stage today. Uh, but I want to get back in a second. We'll come back to you
00:21:02.260 about this jock culture versus valedictorian culture. I got news for the fact, the reason
00:21:08.060 the United States is the United States is because of that, the can do attitude of the right stuff.
00:21:14.760 And that is what is, we call jock culture. And that was personified in that, in that incredible,
00:21:19.600 incredible movie. Come back in a second. You just hang right there. I want to bring Kikorian in
00:21:23.080 because he knows the facts. Kikorian, Mark, correct me if I'm wrong. And if, uh, if my team can throw
00:21:29.320 up the guardian story, I sent this morning, there's a guardian story in April of 17 that we finally
00:21:35.280 got an executive order signed. And that's after three or four months of working every day on this
00:21:39.780 thing by president Trump. Um, but that executive order kind of set us in the right direction, but never
00:21:46.520 actually got executed. Give us the history just, just from the Trump era of the H1B visa and why this
00:21:53.500 is still an issue today. Cause I thought we put this thing to bed. Cause here's my point. I want
00:21:58.700 zero. When I was at Breitbart, we covered the story and of the Disney workers in Orlando that had to
00:22:04.740 train the H1B visa folks coming in to take their jobs. And that, that thing went viral. It was one
00:22:10.760 of the reasons president Trump won the Republican primary in 2016. And one of the major reasons he was
00:22:16.260 president of these United States, Mark Kikorian from a CIS.
00:22:20.620 Well, the, the place you got to start is that we, these H1B visas are supposedly temporary
00:22:27.220 for skilled workers. The problem is we give them out by lottery. In other words,
00:22:35.100 they're numerically capped. There's a, there's a certain, there's 85,000 of them a year, but we
00:22:40.920 give them out randomly to people who submit, we get thousands of applications. And, and so what you end
00:22:46.800 up with is a lot of mediocre talents. What president Trump did in that executive order that you had
00:22:54.500 worked on was to say, okay, fellas and DHS come up with a regulation that gives them out, gives the
00:23:02.280 visas out based on the highest salary first. In other words, the people that actually the companies
00:23:08.980 say they value by offering them the most money, uh, that set that there was a, it sat in DHS for a long
00:23:18.580 time. They were debating whether they were allowed to do this by law. Then they wrote the regulation
00:23:23.820 and it just sat in the white house because regulations have to be approved within the office
00:23:30.460 of management and budget. And you were there, not me, but as I understand it, people in the white
00:23:35.420 house sat on that thing. It was finally, they finally pulled the trigger on it like a month before
00:23:43.420 the end of the administration. And what happened is, is Biden just canceled the thing. So this obvious
00:23:50.900 rule that would wipe out these companies that were used, you know, used like Disney visas, um,
00:23:57.620 never happened. And it still hasn't happened.
00:23:59.460 This was even a compromise inside the white house at first for folks like myself, the hardliners said,
00:24:06.120 just do away with the entire program. There's other programs out there. If Einstein, if Einstein
00:24:10.800 comes around, if Einstein comes around, you know, maybe we'll fit in, but I am, this is to me, the
00:24:16.820 people that say, Oh, we got to suck up the best and the brightest from the world. I said, that's like
00:24:20.900 imperialism. That's, that's imperialism because we have to allow and help these countries make them
00:24:26.960 themselves great. Are you going to have a world on fire? One of the problems, you got all the
00:24:31.300 capital and all the talent go to certain nodes, right? And the oligarchs feed off that, use these
00:24:36.640 people as indentured servants. But even then, even then agreeing to the meritocracy point, President
00:24:43.400 Trump pushed that when President Trump looked around, because remember he's flying 60,000 feet
00:24:48.200 because he's running the fricking world. When he found out it wasn't done after the election,
00:24:53.120 he said, what in the hell? And that's why in December, 2020, and folks, you remember this show
00:24:58.840 in December, 2020, it was called war room impeachment. And we were, I know it was war,
00:25:04.640 it was basically war room, but that was the firestorm of the election of stealing of the
00:25:09.120 election. The pandemic was still there. President Trump had a couple of three things on his mind,
00:25:13.460 but realize this has never been implemented, Mark. And that's why he said, get this thing done.
00:25:18.160 I don't know how this thing got held up. And this is the thing about the people,
00:25:21.740 not just the White House, but DHS and the administration, the administrative and deep
00:25:25.500 state that don't want any changes. And they report to the easy money overlords on Wall Street
00:25:32.260 and the tech oligarchs. Kerkorian. Yeah. You know, I think the, you're showing right stuff
00:25:38.420 is actually a useful example because who helped with our rocket program? It was German scientists.
00:25:46.900 And so that's a real thing there. But we had a program to bring German scientists here to help
00:25:52.920 with that stuff. 15 years, over 15 years, you know how many people we brought here?
00:25:58.380 1,600 people, a little more than a hundred a year. That kind of tech immigration is actually
00:26:06.040 something that everybody's for. But what we're not, that's nothing like what we're doing now.
00:26:10.920 We're doing mass foreignization of our tech industries. And that's not, it's bad for American
00:26:18.240 workers. And it's also bad for American security because this is an essential national security area,
00:26:26.560 broadly, the whole tech area. And we're, you know, bringing, we're relying on foreign sources
00:26:33.500 of talent instead of growing our own talent. There's really no excuse for it.
00:26:38.020 It's no excuse for it. The reason they want to do it is they want to bring over indentured
00:26:43.940 servants that don't have the rights of Americans. They want to bring them over here
00:26:47.120 at lower wages and they fire American citizens. And my whole point, if these engineers, the rot is in
00:26:53.420 the engineering schools. Here's, instead of taking American citizens, African-Americans, Hispanics,
00:26:59.360 white working class into these engineering schools who are paying the, in particular, the land
00:27:03.860 grant universities, like schools I went to, where they're paying the state tuition. They take the
00:27:09.620 foreign students because the foreign governments are paying full freight. This is because these
00:27:14.060 deadbeat professors, right? And, and, and, and their retirement program, their tenure, that's how
00:27:20.120 they're paying for it. That's the gap. The whole thing, the entire thing from top to bottom is a total
00:27:25.500 scam, a total scam. We're going to talk about the right stuff. Kikorian brought in, hang on a second,
00:27:32.340 Mark, we're going to go to break. Uh, you brought a project paperclip. Wow. That's a live fire
00:27:36.800 exercise right there. Jack Posobiec, Gavin Wax, Raheem Kassam, Mark Kikorian on a Friday
00:27:42.960 in late December, 2024, in the war room. Back in a moment.
00:27:48.120 No more, no more, cause Jesus put the light in you. Little children in a straight line, don't fall
00:28:01.080 behind. Oh no, the television's only meant to indoctrinate the mind.
00:28:09.220 Here's your host, Stephen K. Band.
00:28:15.160 Okay. We got Mark Kikorian for the center for immigration studies. Uh, he is the best and the
00:28:20.480 brightest. We got Gavin Wax, the Gavin Wax, Raheem Kassam is on deck on Joyce in a moment. I got
00:28:26.240 Poso and Jack, thanks so much for doing this, taking time away from the family. I know you're
00:28:30.240 trying to take a couple of days off. Um, you've got a great new, great new podcast on. Okay. I love
00:28:37.420 what to talk about that for a second. What this is a, uh, a firefight. I want your assessment,
00:28:43.420 particularly the right stuff of what really made America great. Cause that's what, that's
00:28:47.360 what MAG is about is the right stuff. And, and, and also I hate to bring a sore subject to you and
00:28:52.880 Darren Beattie cause you're fan boys, the free speech absolutists. I don't know, man. So tell me,
00:28:59.740 give me the right stuff post. So first, then we'll talk about free speech absolutism.
00:29:05.020 Well, Steve, let me just say this. This isn't a firefight. I saw Axios this morning, describing
00:29:09.860 it as a civil war stuff, firefight. This isn't a civil war. This is a clarification. We are
00:29:16.180 clarifying a few things. What does America first actually mean? Does America first mean something
00:29:23.260 based on, I don't know, spreadsheets? Does it mean an abstract number that people can pluck out of
00:29:28.520 some studies somewhere? No, no, no, absolutely not. America first means the American people
00:29:35.000 first. I want to be very clear about that because it seems like some people still do not get this
00:29:40.900 even after all these years. America first means the American people first. We are not vaccine first.
00:29:49.040 We are not tech company first. We are not military industrial complex first. No, we are American
00:29:58.000 people first. That is what the nationalist populist movement underpinning MAGA is all about. All right.
00:30:06.060 So make sure you understand that if you want to come to the party, if you want to walk in the door,
00:30:10.780 just understand where you're coming in, that if you come over here and try to tell us America first
00:30:15.740 means something else at you're wrong. And look, you know, going back to what makes America, America,
00:30:20.980 America was made by the pioneers. America was made by the adventurers. America was Neil Armstrong.
00:30:26.760 America was the Wild West. America was settling man. Here's a couple of words for you. Manifest
00:30:34.480 destiny. Yeah, we are going to talk manifest destiny. We talk Greenland. We can talk Panama.
00:30:39.060 Let's talk Canada, too, while we're at it. We'll talk all of it. But understand something that this
00:30:44.420 is the country of adventurers, of explorers, of pioneers, which, by the way, that pioneering includes
00:30:50.820 pushing out into space. And that's why so many people have been supportive of SpaceX and Elon Musk
00:30:57.880 and so many other things. But at the bottom line is we are not going to lose sight of the American
00:31:04.380 people that we are fighting for. The MAGA movement would not exist without the immigration debate,
00:31:09.940 period, full stop. If the immigration debate did not exist, then you could have President Jeb Bush.
00:31:15.220 And I think maybe some of these guys would be totally fine with President Jeb Bush. You know,
00:31:18.720 it's interesting, Steve, to me, by the way, that the CEOs and the Marxists seem to have the exact
00:31:23.960 same immigration policy. I wonder why that is. I wonder why that could be. It's very strange to me.
00:31:29.240 But look, this is about the people who have fought for this land, who have died for this land,
00:31:34.580 who have gone overseas, who have been lied to in some cases, like the global war on terror,
00:31:38.920 but the people who actually have bones in the ground here and fought for this country. That's
00:31:45.520 what it's about. And so anyway, and by the way, we are the most welcoming country in the world. We're
00:31:49.260 the most charitable country in the world. But don't sit there and tell me that we can't compete if we
00:31:53.640 can't be importing cheap labor from overseas, because it ain't true and it never was.
00:31:58.540 I just want to give a little bit of precision that it was a great, great riff there. It's American
00:32:05.140 citizens first, just like in the Roman Republic. It's citizenship. Yes. You're an American citizen,
00:32:10.360 you get a special deal. You get a special deal. You're not treated like garbage, like Biden said,
00:32:15.460 or like the tech oligarchs want to treat you like garbage. Remember what happened in Disney?
00:32:19.680 Remember what happens, all these things. And this is a whole bald-faced lie. Oh, we need the,
00:32:24.240 we need the Einsteins. Yo, if Einstein shows up somehow, just like Wanner von Braun,
00:32:29.640 give me the rockets. We'll figure out. The CIA will work on project paperclip deuce to get that
00:32:37.180 guy in here. It has nothing to do with that. That is a total scam. And Raheem and Will Upton over at
00:32:44.180 National Pulse have done a magnificent piece on that. Corcoran's got some other stuff about
00:32:48.780 American labor we want to get to in a second. But Gavin, I want to get to this jock culture versus
00:32:53.180 valedictorian culture. Valedictorian culture, dude, we tried that. That's what these,
00:32:57.980 these, these weirdos, and that's where there's a collection of weirdos, right? From Silicon Valley,
00:33:03.400 right? Tried to run the country into Biden's thing. They've had, they've had at it for four
00:33:08.220 years. They got old-time religion with Trump because they saw the tectonic plate shift and
00:33:13.360 they converted or quasi-converted. And we love, we love converts. We love converts. But like any
00:33:19.280 convert, you kind of want them sitting in the back couple of aisles to make sure this conversion
00:33:23.020 actually takes, they don't come up and lead the, they don't come up and lead the congregation
00:33:27.940 in the first week. Gavin Wax, what is your big problem with, with Vivek's valedictorian culture
00:33:35.360 versus Jack culture, sir? Well, listen, it was a total masks off moment for Vivek. He wasn't
00:33:42.260 talking about the substance of H-1B. He wasn't talking about how it's a scheme to bring over,
00:33:47.360 you know, $20,000 a year cooks or $30,000 a year plumbers. He tried to deflect the entire thing
00:33:53.660 and ridicule American culture, American children, how they're raised, how they're brought up,
00:33:59.860 talking about, you know, free time, talking about hobbies, talking about sleepovers,
00:34:04.220 talking about popular sitcoms from the 90s. It was a very angry screed. It was completely anti-American
00:34:11.040 in its nature. It's a complete shift from the guy that, you know, put on a cowboy hat and wore an
00:34:16.280 American flag vest on the campaign trail. And it just screams of a phoniness and this condescending
00:34:23.540 arrogance that's prevalent among these tech oligarchs and their allies in politics, such
00:34:29.320 as Vivek. I mean, American culture does not need to be fixed. We, that's our largest export as
00:34:34.260 American culture. That's our greatest value is our culture, our freedoms, and the way that we are
00:34:39.140 brought up in an environment where you can be creative, where you could be dynamic, where you can
00:34:42.800 have fun, where you can have a life. You know, we don't need to imitate the East and these tiger moms
00:34:47.580 and this, this insane utilitarian soulless culture where everyone's just focused from the moment
00:34:53.140 they're born to increase shareholder value or to pump up the GDP on the margins and to increase
00:34:59.680 productivity. That's not what drives innovation. Innovation that gave birth to Silicon Valley,
00:35:05.320 that gave birth to the American tech industry, was created out of American generations who grew up,
00:35:11.420 you know, in the hippie movement and grew up, you know, loving all these different facets of
00:35:16.080 American culture, American suburban culture. It did not get born in an Indian slum. It didn't get born
00:35:22.440 in a tenement, in a communist block tenement outside Beijing. It got born in California during,
00:35:29.980 you know, the height of Pax Americana. And that's what we need to return to. We need to return to America
00:35:35.060 looking like a John Hughes movie and not looking like some dystopian hellscape future over, you know,
00:35:41.660 ruled over by technocrats who are bringing in a new underclass of American slave laborers who are
00:35:47.680 bringing down our wages, who are bringing down our cost of living, our quality of living and driving up
00:35:53.020 our cost of living. Meanwhile, giving an entire new voting block to the Marxists like Bill de Blasio,
00:35:58.520 who want to send this country even further down the path of third worldism. So Vivek has it totally
00:36:03.500 upside down, totally wrong. It makes everyone question what whatever he was saying on the
00:36:08.860 campaign trail, if it was true, if it was if it was not true, if it was wrong, if he was being
00:36:13.200 legitimate. But again, don't let them gaslight you. Don't let them lie and smear Americans. This has nothing
00:36:18.800 to do with bringing the cream of the crop top tier talent. They're bringing in plumbers. They're bringing
00:36:24.560 in cooks. They're hiring people for sixty thousand dollar entry level jobs that should be going to
00:36:29.020 young Americans. They're hiring people for middle management jobs at one hundred thousand. That should be
00:36:32.920 going for three hundred thousand, whatever it may be, undercutting Americans. If you want the top
00:36:37.820 talent, you get the O-1 visa. That's going to bring in the Einsteins. OK, and we can bring those people
00:36:42.160 in. We can bring in fifteen hundred over fifteen years like Operation Paperclip. It's honestly
00:36:47.020 incredible that the tech pros are now, you know, the biggest advocates of bringing over Nazi scientists.
00:36:52.500 I never thought I'd see the day. But listen, this is an issue that is, again, the core of the MAGA
00:36:58.280 agenda. We're going after it hard. We need to push back on it hard because if they win, we lose.
00:37:04.920 And Gavin, you've been pushing back hard. Just hang on for a second because I want to get to this whole
00:37:08.220 thing about shutting you guys down. And Laura Loomer is going to join us in the in the next hour.
00:37:12.960 This whole thing, though, even about the Einsteins, you got to be very careful. This is his imperialistic mindset
00:37:17.320 that we don't need, you know, this whole thing. You've got to take every best embrace throughout the world.
00:37:22.580 They've got to be here. If you do that, the world's going to be a bigger nightmare and we're going to
00:37:26.720 have it's going to be an absolute disaster. Hang on one second. Kerkorian, just walk me through
00:37:30.700 H-1B visas, plus these new reports you've got out. You're the best guy to actually say
00:37:35.620 how the how the corporatists and the tech oligarchs and the lords of easy money on Wall Street.
00:37:42.580 One of their biggest focus is to make sure Americans don't have jobs, right, because they think
00:37:48.400 Americans demand too many high wages. So they want to bring in the rest of the world to compete with
00:37:53.000 them, sir. Well, they're using immigration basically to discipline Americans and not be uppity and not
00:38:01.160 ask for high wages. And it actually starts well before you get to H-1Bs. It starts by the mass
00:38:07.560 admission of foreign students in universities, which is unlimited. There are no numerical caps on that.
00:38:14.800 And then when they graduate, if they graduated in a STEM field, science and tech, they get three years
00:38:23.620 of a supposed internship. So they they're basically masquerading as students on a student visa when
00:38:31.340 they're actually just foreign workers trying to get an H-1B visa. And then they spend the whole time on an
00:38:37.060 H-1B visa, which is temporary, supposedly trying to get a green card. So really to deal with this,
00:38:44.260 you need to go upstream and limit the admission of foreign students, especially in these sensitive
00:38:51.740 fields, but really, frankly, in any field, because otherwise you end up putting in setting in place.
00:38:58.180 But this pipeline that ends up displacing Americans, they still get jobs. It's not like this increases the
00:39:05.360 unemployment rate. What it does is push Americans into other fields. So they become lawyers or accountants
00:39:12.120 or something else, which are perfectly honorable things to do. But we need to be growing domestic
00:39:18.260 tech talent, which we did, for instance, after Sputnik in the late 50s. The Russians sent up the
00:39:25.880 first satellite. We all freaked out. Schools went big, big into tech education in high in elementary school,
00:39:35.920 high school, high school, college. And the result was, along with a little dash of Werner von Braun,
00:39:42.060 was landing on the moon. That's the model we need to follow. A little bit of a handful of genuine
00:39:48.600 Einsteins, but helping out a broad, domestically developed workforce.
00:39:54.600 Real quickly, just hit that. It's 1.1 million foreign students. And, you know, I don't mind
00:40:01.980 people maybe come over some limited bases at college, but then immediately they got to leave.
00:40:06.020 Just talk about the scam. When they come, one, they're shoving people out because they're not
00:40:10.000 getting training. But a lot of these folks never leave, Mark.
00:40:13.620 Yeah, they don't. I mean, for a lot of people. Now, people from developed countries, generally speaking,
00:40:18.940 do go back if, you know, we're getting students from England or Japan or Korea. But especially those
00:40:25.840 from India and China use foreign students, be being a foreign student, as a way to live here
00:40:34.000 permanently. And, you know, they are, even though they're paying full freight, they're still subsidized
00:40:40.220 because universities don't have to pay taxes. They're subsidized by the taxpayer, even if they're
00:40:45.920 private universities. And that's a resource. Training at our top universities is a vital resource.
00:40:55.520 And what we're doing is we are devoting that resource to people from overseas instead of
00:41:03.220 developing our own talent. And we've got plenty of it here.
00:41:08.900 Mark, real quickly, where do people go to get these new reports? You guys are putting out the
00:41:13.180 best information still where they go, because this is going to this is this is just the top
00:41:17.920 of the first thing on this issue. We're online at C.I.S. dot O.R.G. Center for Immigration
00:41:24.040 Studies, C.I.S. dot org. And if people who like snark and sarcasm can find me on Twitter,
00:41:30.220 I'd spell the X, but it's pronounced Twitter at Mark S. as in Stephen, Mark S. Krikorian.
00:41:37.400 Brother, you're the best. Todd Benzman, Mark Krikorian, brother Arthur over there. Just fantastic.
00:41:48.160 OK, short break. Gavin's going to stick with us. We got Poso. X pronounced Twitter. I don't know,
00:41:55.460 man. Free speech absolutism. Is it a real thing? We're going to ask Gavin Wax, Jack Posobiec,
00:42:03.460 Raheem Kassam's going to join us, Laura Loomer, all next in the War Room.
00:42:10.480 Your host, Stephen K. Bannon.
00:42:14.760 So, wow, D.C. Drano's dropped by the War Room. We're going to hit D.C. on in a moment
00:42:19.980 with Gavin Wax, Jack Posobiec. I guess it's Jack Day. Jack Posobiec, your thoughts. I want to get to
00:42:25.900 this. What's happened over at Twitter, formerly known as X, to suppress the voices of Gavin Wax,
00:42:34.020 and Laura Loomer and D.C. Drano and yourself, sir. What's going on?
00:42:39.020 Yeah, look, I would love to know what's going on because I was told that Twitter was the free
00:42:44.840 speech arm of the free speech party. I was told that Twitter was PVP. Let's have at it. Vox
00:42:50.460 Populi, Vox Dei. Vox Populi, Vox Dei. And then all of a sudden, you know, people are posting polls.
00:42:56.640 People are posting stats. People are going back and forth. They're having the dialogue. They're
00:43:00.660 having it out. Yeah, it gets a little heated. Of course, it gets a little heated. But we were
00:43:03.960 told that was the point. And now all of a sudden, it feels like there's a rug pulling operation going
00:43:08.460 on, kind of like the Haktua girl with their little Haktua coin down there. And suddenly it's like,
00:43:13.160 oh, whoa, whoa, no, not for you guys. No, not for you guys. You guys get and people get losing their
00:43:18.160 check marks. Oh, and Troyer too, by the way, from the great, the great info wars, the other war room
00:43:23.560 out there. And also losing his blue check. And people are trying to figure out what's going on.
00:43:28.200 What's how is this all happening at the same time? And it's if it's predicated on its H1B situation that
00:43:34.340 I'd really like to know why, because I see China. They say, oh, we're losing to China. We're losing to
00:43:39.740 guess what? China ain't migrating all of these tech workers in. They're just doing it by building
00:43:45.660 up their own people and then bringing some temporary professors over from the U.S. And yeah,
00:43:49.660 they're stealing it. Of course they are. But you know what? Xi Jinping knows that if he starts screwing
00:43:53.960 over the Chinese people on mass, he's going to be the first one that gets strung up. And by the way,
00:43:59.460 this whole idea of, you know, the nerds versus the valedictorians and the jocks and all this.
00:44:03.840 Look, look, we turned the entire country over to the valedictorians during COVID. We tried rule by
00:44:12.800 nerd. It was not good to say the least. It was horrific. It was a catastrophic failure. COVID is
00:44:21.180 all of the argument, the test, the experiment has been run. It was a devastating failure. So please
00:44:28.900 don't sit there and tell me that this is how we have to reorient American culture. And by the way,
00:44:34.260 by the way, you know who did really well during COVID? The bodybuilders, the jocks, the gym rats.
00:44:40.040 Those guys did great. Yeah, because they stood up and said they're not going to close down the
00:44:46.340 gyms, not going to wear these masks. Hang on one second. By the way, you think it's turbulent
00:44:51.080 the last couple of days? This is going to get a lot more heated, I think, and a lot more turbulent,
00:44:56.780 particularly look at capital markets, birchgold.com, the end of the dollar empire,
00:45:02.240 birchgold.com slash bannon. Get the modern monetary theory. We're going to get you smart on H1B visas
00:45:09.940 and all the immigration scams they try to run, but also the monetary scams, modern monetary theory,
00:45:17.000 the idea that broke the world because we got $300 trillion of global debt and we're about to have
00:45:23.400 a big margin call, folks. You're going to be ringside for that and you're going to be the
00:45:27.540 smartest guy in the room. Gavin Wax, this whole, how does this, how do we take this, since they're
00:45:34.220 suppressing your guys' voices, how do we move this conversation forward to tell folks we've had
00:45:40.640 rule by nerd, we're not going back there, America is based upon the right stuff, and the superpower,
00:45:45.780 the young woman at the beginning of the, the coal opens wrong. Our superpower are American citizens.
00:45:53.000 They're the ones throughout for every patriot's grave, back to the beginning of the revolution,
00:45:57.400 have fought for this country, stood up for this country, and bequeathed this country to us,
00:46:02.220 Brother Wax. Yeah, listen, I mean, you're right on the nose there, Steve. We are a country,
00:46:08.020 after all. We are a nation. We are a people. We're not just an economic zone. We're not just a place
00:46:12.280 that you can extract wealth from and send it back home. This is a place that's built up by families,
00:46:17.380 communities, neighborhoods, towns, states, and these are real people. And what has happened over
00:46:21.820 the last few decades, the last generation or so, is we've opened our borders. We've flooded this
00:46:26.460 country with illegal and legal migrants, suppressing our wages. We've flooded this country with drugs,
00:46:31.580 with, with opiates. We've sent tons of jobs, good middle-class, working-class jobs overseas.
00:46:37.060 Then we told everyone in these small towns, these forgotten towns, I'm here in Western PA right now,
00:46:42.300 tons of towns around here that have been left behind by the federal government.
00:46:45.240 We told these same people, hey, why don't you go learn to code? Why don't you learn to program?
00:46:50.660 That'll get you a job. Get off your lazy ass and go do some work. They go, they go into the STEM,
00:46:55.680 they go learn, they go get in tons of debts to get these degrees. They expect a well-paying job
00:47:00.860 waiting for them on the other side. And what do they get instead? They're at best training their
00:47:05.020 replacement before they get fired, or they're basically told, no, we're not going to hire you. And
00:47:09.600 that's also under this nexus of DEI, which is completely taken over the entire HR industry in
00:47:17.460 this country. And they are basically telling people, no, you're not going to be getting these
00:47:21.580 jobs. If you're a white male, you're not going to be getting these jobs. If you're a native born
00:47:25.500 American, you're not going to be getting these jobs. If you expect a decent wage, you're only
00:47:29.260 going to be getting these jobs. If you're working 80 hours a week for 40 hours of pay, it's an incredible
00:47:33.980 slogan that they're advertising. But if that is what it is, it looks like someone's calling the
00:47:38.160 house, so I'll leave it at that.
00:47:41.880 Gavin, social media, where do people follow you today before you kicked off Twitter? How do people
00:47:46.840 get to you?
00:47:48.800 Well, I'm not kicked off yet, thankfully, but I did lose my blue check. It's very weird. I've
00:47:53.600 been paying and supporting X since Elon took over. I've been generally very much a fan of Elon.
00:47:59.180 So what's happened in recent days is very concerning, to say the least. I think it just
00:48:03.660 goes to show we really struck a nerve with this. But you could follow me at Gavin Wax on X, formerly
00:48:08.720 known as Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, all the rest. I've been putting out a lot of content about
00:48:12.600 this. I'm going to be doing an article very soon for The National Pulse and Raheem Kassam talking
00:48:16.500 about this H-1B racket, talking about the student visa racket, talking about how legal, quote-unquote
00:48:22.380 legal mass migration is just as horrible for this country and our future as the illegal
00:48:29.080 immigration. It's two sides of the same coin. So we've got to tackle it. We've got to push back.
00:48:33.700 This is the mandate for MAGA, and we can't surrender it.
00:48:38.260 This is the great realignment that could be like 1932. That's how many people have not been on our
00:48:43.260 side before, are on our side. And then you've got people that may be on our side, but are really
00:48:47.320 not on our side. You've got to sort it all out. He's lost the blue check, but he's still special.
00:48:53.940 Yes, sir.
00:48:54.340 We've got to bring in these unions. I mean, they know what they're talking about. We need
00:48:59.240 good, middle-class, working-class jobs that you could support a family on. You can own a house
00:49:03.840 on, on a single income. You don't have to get tons of degrees. You don't have to compete with
00:49:07.600 the world. These are American jobs. They should only be competed for by other Americans. And this is
00:49:14.180 our nation. This is our future, and we shouldn't surrender it for hundreds of thousands of, honestly,
00:49:19.700 fraud. Because what they're doing in India, it's fake degrees from fake schools. They're
00:49:24.140 coming over here. They're getting on-the-job training, and they're screwing over Americans
00:49:27.580 coming from the top schools. So it's not a matter of merit. It's a matter of cheapening wages.
00:49:32.880 Thank you, brother. Appreciate you. Some of the, IIT and some of the schools are pretty good,
00:49:40.100 but we'll get into all that in the second hour. But remember, the superpower of the United
00:49:44.640 States, what is it? It's the American citizen. It's the backbone of our civic society. The
00:49:53.760 little platoons. And guess what? They're pretty damn good. Going to get you through some tight
00:49:59.060 spots. Oligarchs, the nerds in Silicon Valley should learn that, what they're drafting off.
00:50:05.180 Short break, DC Drano on the other side.
00:50:09.580 That's why we created Sacred Human, really trying to fill this gap of quality supplements.
00:50:13.680 And of course, the beef liver being our flagship products. For those who don't know,
00:50:18.960 beef liver is loaded with highly bioavailable ingredients such as vitamin A, B12, zinc,
00:50:25.160 CoQ10, etc. And because it is 100% grass-fed and natural, your body is able to absorb these
00:50:32.520 nutrients far better than taking any other synthetic multivitamin or any other synthetic
00:50:38.080 vitamin in general. So we have some other amazing products, but if you'd like to check us out,
00:50:42.840 you can go to sacredhumanhealth.com and cheers to your health.
