00:01:03.240 And Trump just kind of accepted the L and moved on. He threatened to primary Republicans who voted
00:01:07.820 for a government funding bill last month without lifting the debt ceiling. And 170 Republicans defied
00:01:12.980 him, voted for that bill anyway. The House is going to be what makes or breaks Trump's agenda,
00:01:18.780 Chris. The margin right now is 219 to 215. It's going to shrink further to 17 to 215,
00:01:24.240 at least temporarily, while some of these Republicans, you know, leave the House to
00:01:28.740 join Trump's administration. That means any one Republican, Tom Massey, the hard no on Mike
00:01:34.320 Johnson or anybody else, Chip Roy, the hardline conservative, anyone can take down a bill.
00:01:39.520 And I spoke to Speaker Mike Johnson just in the last hour or so, asked him what the plan is to move
00:01:45.040 Trump's agenda and that so-called big budget reconciliation package. He said early January,
00:01:49.740 early January very soon is going to be when they start moving that budget bill. But he still
00:01:53.540 wouldn't tell me whether it's going to be one bill or two bills. That is one of several divisions
00:01:57.020 that Republicans face. Now, one other thing that Mike Johnson has been telling people,
00:02:01.140 reminding people, is that 60 percent of Republicans in this new Congress have never
00:02:05.500 had a trifecta. That's going to make it very difficult to teach them how messy governing is and the

00:02:14.020 talking to reconciliation, you get you had Jason Smith and those guys up there doing the three
00:02:17.760 card money because they want to hide what's really in the tax part. Where are we going to be, sir?

00:04:29.240 sincere when it comes to this debt issue, if they are going to really succeed in passing their agenda
00:04:34.480 to dramatically bring down the size of the debt while at the same time passing trillions of dollars
00:04:39.880 worth of tax cuts, there is only a few sources they can go in order to achieve that. It would be
00:04:45.520 trillion dollar cuts to Social Security, Medicare and Medicaid. Why? Because that is the vast majority

00:12:23.880 there. 2016 was the previous one, Justice 2017, DHS 2016. So they're really trying to restructure
00:12:32.820 who is going to be in charge the second that President Trump takes the oath of office.
00:12:37.860 You know, look, you and I both know from the first term, it's orders of succession like these is
00:12:46.360 how we got stuck with people like Sally Yates, who refused to defend the counterterrorism immigration

00:18:45.600 these people? Why is it going to a certain order? How did they pick this? And who's in back of it, sir?

00:18:56.640 clear, all of them except for one already had standing orders of succession, some of them going
00:19:01.940 back to 2008. So you really got to wonder why, like you said, on Friday in January, less than 20 days
00:19:10.100 before the inauguration, they had to make a big move to change these. Again, there is going to be a lag
00:19:16.740 between the time that President Trump takes the oath of office and when we get our people in the
00:19:23.580 door at these key agencies. It's not going to be instantaneous, just to be realistic.

00:19:58.640 who was in charge of CIA until we showed up. And that who's in charge in that kind of intervening
00:20:05.580 transition period is set by the orders of succession. So these are extremely important
00:20:10.420 documents. We've got to go through and analyze these ones that came out last night and really
00:20:15.700 try to figure out who are they trying to push us to, to be in charge of these agencies. I think that
00:20:22.740 that's going to be very revealing. You're absolutely correct. So this is that interim period in case
00:20:31.100 anything, anything happens. My understanding, I don't think maybe some of the landing teams,
00:20:36.440 but I don't think there's been a broad discussion with the Trump team about this. That would be
00:20:41.440 unusual, right? There doesn't seem to be any real, and look, I know the people working on it may
00:20:46.400 disagree, but from a general 60,000 foot, I'm not feeling a ton of cooperation. Although Biden says
00:20:53.820 he's doing a ton of cooperation between the Biden, illegitimate Biden regime and President Trump's
00:20:59.300 new team. And that's why I think dumping this on a Friday night, I would have hoped they would have
00:21:07.580 run this by President Trump and actually had a briefing with President Trump's inner circle
00:21:12.660 about this. Do you have any idea whether that happened or not?
00:21:17.260 Well, I don't. But again, these orders go back, some of them go back to 2017, 2008, right? So
00:21:25.660 the fact that they're changing them now is highly alerting. Also, some of the ones that are on the
00:21:33.120 list, I mean, these are important agencies, but they're not the most important. For instance,
00:21:37.500 USAGM. Why are they changing the order of succession at USAGM? I mean, to me, that's obviously where
00:21:43.540 Carrie Lake's going in. So it seems to me maybe they're trying to prep the environment to make it
00:21:47.880 even more difficult for her. So again, what they're trying to do is put their they're trying
00:21:54.280 to put their own their own careerist there to make it. Remember, she goes to VOA, which is a
00:22:00.860 subset of that. This is that is actually a Senate confirmed position. They're going to try to drag
00:22:06.140 out Carrie Lake getting into VOA forever. They've the last thing they want is President Trump's people.
00:22:11.560 Michael Pack, my friend who was put up to head up USGM, was three years. He didn't get confirmed
00:22:18.300 until three years into the process. And it was Mitch McConnell, but it was also the apparatus that
00:22:23.720 they tried to bleed out Michael Pack. These people cannot be trusted on anything. So when you see
00:22:29.140 something like this, you understand that this is all they're trying to, you know, go on record and
00:22:34.560 say, oh, we told you about that. We did this. But this is all to try to stop President Trump's people
00:22:39.620 from coming in and actually taking control of my mantra. Seize the institutions. This is the
00:22:46.420 this is the illegitimate regime, the administrative state in the deep state fighting back. Is it not,
00:22:52.440 sir? Yeah, absolutely. And look, a lot of people are out there saying, you know, Trump can just come
00:22:58.280 in and get rid of these EOs. But, you know, Steve, you and I both know in reality, it's a little bit
00:23:02.440 more complicated than that. Right. I mean, there will be a delay for each of the to change each of
00:23:08.280 these because it's got to go to DOJ for review and you're going to have people there that are going
00:23:12.660 to throw up objections. I mean, you and I have been through this before. And I think the other
00:23:16.680 example I'll use, which is just a key and key example of this from the first term is we had
00:23:24.540 holdovers at the NSC who ended up stealing President Trump's the first two years of this term.
00:23:32.240 The president should have been able to send those people back to their home agencies with a stroke of
00:23:36.960 a pen. But you and I both know, despite the fact that he ordered to do that, it took two years for
00:23:41.580 that to happen. So, again, don't underestimate. And I think this is what you were saying earlier
00:23:47.660 this week. Do not underestimate the measures that the permanent bureaucratic state, the permanent
00:23:54.360 national security state and frankly, the outgoing Biden administration are going to use to try to
00:23:59.300 blunt our attack on January 20th.

00:24:10.620 were detaillees from the interagency and from different agencies. They were all embeds of Obama

00:24:22.420 actually did a memo, detailed memo. McMaster's got it and used that to run Higgins out of the
00:24:28.480 White House. President Trump actually told McMaster's in front of me, I want to execute
00:24:34.220 on Higgins' thing. I want to get rid of all these people. And McMaster's didn't do it. He just was
00:24:39.260 just he did not carry out an order from the commander in chief flat out, just dragged his feet. And if you
00:24:44.460 go back and look at the list that Higgins gave, it's the top crew of the impeachment that took place
00:24:49.260 around Ukraine, right? Higgins knew immediately who the bad actors were and get them out of there.
00:24:54.100 But the apparatus will always fight back. They will. If the president makes a decision,
00:25:01.260 don't think it's immediately executed upon. This is why you have to force your will through the
