00:39:10.720 administration, is planning to start large scale deportations on Tuesday, deploying as

00:39:16.040 many as 200 ICE officers to Chicago. I just want to say, just for people who aren't familiar

00:39:21.000 with the number of officers it takes to engage in large scale raids, 200 officers seems like

00:39:27.400 a lot. But I mean, Marco Rubio is saying they want to deport 10, 20, 30 million undocumented

00:39:32.820 people from this country. That will require a redeployment of federal officers, the scale

00:39:39.220 of which we have not seen in my lifetime.

00:39:41.620 You know, so I think there's also the truism of the Trump years, which is, you know, there

00:39:47.620 is a lot of talk that is very pitched and it is intended to invoke fear. And oftentimes it's

00:39:53.360 quite successful. And it's not to minimize those affected by a 200-person ICE raid in

00:39:57.960 the city of Chicago. But Donald Trump's ability to actually execute on the mass deportations

00:40:04.280 he's promised is an open question. And I think within that, there is a lot of opportunity for

00:40:09.500 resistance, the kind of which you just outlined, Rachel.

00:40:12.580 Yeah. And I think he's also picking a fight. I mean, I think that there's a reason.

00:40:15.660 Yeah. Picking a fight. Todd Benzman, he's very specific. The mayor in Chicago has been

00:40:24.600 adamant about being a sanctuary city. President Trump, Tom Homan and Stephen Miller are going

00:40:33.940 Well, they're feuding. The mayor of Chicago is saying out loud over and over again, we're

00:40:40.120 going to protect criminal aliens from you. We're going to preserve their presence among 0.56

00:40:52.400 we may just arrest you because that's a crime. You can't get in the way of law enforcement

00:41:05.660 to be on day one is Chicago, which is just sort of a way of telling them that we are going

00:41:13.240 to overwhelm you. We are not going to be dissuaded by your sanctuary policies, your criminal alien 1.00

00:49:05.200 like it, come and get me. I think that's partly be to sort of get the rest of them in line to make an

00:49:13.780 example to overcome that guy. And by the way, Pritzker's even that the governor is starting to make

00:49:21.660 conciliatory sounds, although he's still kind of holdoutish as well. But he is making some

00:49:28.820 conciliatory noises. He's running for president. Hold it. Hang on. He's running for president in
