In this episode of the podcast, host Alex Blumbergert talks about President Trump's first 100 days in office and why he's not going away anytime soon. He also talks about how to deal with the economic chaos that's emerging from the Trump administration, and why it's not just Wall Street and the business community that's uneasy about Trump's economy.
00:00:30.000It's day 99 of the second Trump administration and we're starting this evening with money power politics.
00:00:36.760According to Donald Trump, he runs the country and the world.
00:00:40.840That is what he told the Atlantic about his view of his second term in office.
00:00:44.920In the interview, Trump also pushed back on the idea that economic chaos would make him roll back his tariffs.
00:00:50.540He said, well, it always affects you a little bit.
00:00:53.940There's no red line or certain number that would make him change course.
00:00:57.540But it is not just Wall Street or the business community that's currently uneasy about Trump's economy.
00:01:03.140Recent polls are showing that most Americans disapprove of how Trump has handled the economy.
00:01:09.160Of course, Trump's team in public is brushing off all the polls and the worries, saying Trump is focused on putting Americans first.
00:01:16.480And while the business world is very concerned about the trade war with China, Treasury Secretary Scott Besson, he says the ball, well, it's in China's court.
00:01:25.460I believe that it's up to China to de-escalate because they sell five times more to us than we sell to them.
00:01:33.680And so these 125, 145 percent tariffs are unsustainable.
00:01:40.740Here's where I think we are right now.
00:01:44.140I think that Trump and the Trump administration are going to throw some increasingly wild pitches to try to change the political trajectory of how things are going.
00:01:56.680I mean, they're now deporting U.S. citizens.
00:02:09.680I think that we should expect some wild pitches, some truly reckless actions to try to change the trajectory of how things are going, to try to make it seem like this is a new game.
00:02:19.940I think because of that instinct in Trump, we should expect that there are going to be some things ahead that are markedly more horrible than even what they have done already.
00:02:28.900I think they're going to try to put some proverbial heads on bikes.
00:02:31.600And I think that's going to be terrible.
00:02:33.660Well, first of all, he's done more in the first 100 days than I've done in my 38 year career.
00:03:19.660Culturally, it is now firmly established that capitulation and sucking up to Trump is shameful and weak and marks you as a loser.
00:03:27.480Conversely, I think it is culturally ingrained now that saying no to Trump and fighting him and standing up to him shows that you are strong and a winner and somebody who other people might be interested in.
00:03:38.880The super abundance of court rulings against Trump will continue.
00:03:43.360Bottom line, I think as long as the movement against him stays nonviolent, the movement against him wins.
00:03:50.140I think Republicans and elected office at every level will face unrelenting and increasing pressure to split from Trump on his almost unbelievably unpopular policies.
00:04:01.960Everything from tariffs to what he's doing to Social Security, to his treatment of Ukraine, to medical research, to Meals on Wheels, to Head Start, all of it.
00:04:13.900Republicans will be under unrelenting and increasing pressure to split from him on basically every policy with which he is associated.
00:04:25.340And yes, that includes his abuse of trans people.
00:04:29.940I think relentless opposition and mockery of his failures will spread and intensify as those are further exposed and as nobody in any part of Republican politics finds any way to defend him.
00:04:42.700I think emergency defense measures will increasingly spring up all over the country whenever he tries to pick anyone off, immigrants or otherwise.
00:04:51.580I think 100 days in that Donald Trump is losing.
00:04:56.700And I think Americans defending democracy are winning.
00:05:03.680This is the primal scream of a dying regime.
00:09:39.540It's proven who are collaborators, like your CEOs.
00:09:42.560The CEOs were on DEI, and now they're all chucking it over, right?
00:09:46.580And they better wake up permanently here because if you don't put this – there's only one man who's responsible for the power and the courage here, and it's Trump.
00:10:15.060This is like – you know, Washington had a presence, a massive presence for, what, 20 years of American public life, the key 20 years of the revolution and the founding, and then Lincoln later on.
00:10:27.900You get a guy like this once a century.
00:11:31.860Now they've gone to the Hill and they're trying to worm in, trying to worm into some of the committees.
00:11:35.320And I've talked to some major – I'm not a donor guy, as everybody knows – but I've talked to some major donors and their representatives and whatever.
00:11:43.300And these guys still will tell me it's possible to do free trade with China.
00:12:17.100For the next two days, we're going to be both celebrating and commemorating the first 100 days of the most historic presidency, I don't know, since Lincoln or Washington.
00:12:28.340I mean, greater than Reagan, greater than FDR.
00:12:39.060We're going to steel ourselves for the next 100 days because I think between – if you look at the next 100, which would be July 29th, right?
00:12:49.040You're going to have the trade deals come into focus, the economic war.
00:12:52.020China is going to come into focus, the big, beautiful bill, right, with all the – and we're going to call it as we see it on this big, beautiful bill because it's got to be done right.
00:13:01.240And President Trump's always got tremendous pressure on geopolitically, you know, the ceasefire in Ukraine.
00:13:07.400Obviously, the Russian war approach, there's so much going on.
00:13:10.460Trump's got them going at every different level.
00:14:25.240Stop the kinetic part of the Third World War, the mass deportations, and get this financial, you know, cataclysmic event that's happening to us all sorted out.
00:14:33.200Rogan O'Hanley's going to be here on the mass deportations.
00:14:36.860He's got a – he's got an idea that I think makes sense.
00:14:41.660And I think the White House thinks it might make sense also.
00:15:16.980The company I trust to help you diversify into physical gold is Birch Gold, the company I buy my gold from.
00:15:23.200Birch Gold specializes in helping you convert an existing IRA or 401K into a tax-sheltered IRA in physical gold for no money out of pocket.
00:16:33.020In Trump's first 99 days, we've seen a coordinated assault on the rule of law by radical judges.
00:16:38.520We're thwarting his agenda with an unprecedented number of national injunctions.
00:16:43.800These judges are providing more due process to violent MS-13 and Trenda, Aragua illegal aliens than they did for American citizens who peacefully protested on January 6th.
00:16:52.860As Stephen Miller has highlighted, it would be utterly ridiculous to have full trials and appeals for the more than 15 million illegal aliens that came across our border under Joe Biden.
00:17:02.660Many are now calling for Trump to circumvent these radical judges and consider suspending the writ of habeas corpus solely for these illegal aliens in accordance with the terms of Article I, Section 9 of the United States Constitution,
00:17:16.300which explicitly allows for such a measure when there is a rebellion or invasion.
00:17:20.760There are strong presidents of the greatest presidents, Abraham Lincoln, Ulysses S. Grant, and Democrats' favorite president of all time, FDR.
00:17:32.680All three of which are not only celebrated by historians, but are immortalized on our national currency with their faces on there.
00:17:40.360Furthermore, all three used it against American citizens, where in this instance, we would only be using it against illegal aliens.
00:17:45.760I think almost every reasonable American would agree that 15 million illegal aliens coming across our border under Joe Biden counts as an invasion,
00:17:54.100especially since many, as you highlighted, are now robbing, assaulting, raping, and killing American citizens.
00:18:01.460Historic assaults on our republic require reciprocal action from our government.
00:18:05.820Can you please let us know if and when the Trump administration is planning to suspend the writ of habeas corpus to circumvent these radical judges who are infringing on his Article II powers and to start shipping out illegals in mass?
00:18:31.400In a time of national emergency and really challenging the courts.
00:18:34.880Now, later on, they papered it and they did that about it, but they worked it all out eventually.
00:18:39.600But it was an issue. Right now, given the emergency that we have, we can't mess around with these courts.
00:18:48.240We have an invasion of the country. Right now, we've deported 135,000 people, which some people say, oh, that's not enough.
00:18:55.140Hey, these people are criminals. What Homan and these guys are doing are fantastic.
00:18:59.220They don't have all the resources right now.
00:19:01.120But as I said at Hillsdale the other day, it's got to be all 10 million.
00:19:04.820We don't have a republic. You have to have a rule of law.
00:19:09.320Wall Street is going to make an argument. The left wants the votes. Wall Street wants the consumer goods.
00:19:16.560Corporations want the lower wages. Your thoughts about this?
00:19:20.220Yeah. Well, it's just asymmetric. They can bring in always 10 million illegal.
00:19:25.140And for some reason, we can't push out the 10 million that came in illegally without getting attacked.
00:19:30.760Well, no. They had the courts working with them to let all 10 million here.
00:19:34.000And it was well orchestrated. That's all been covered.
00:19:36.960But that's our side always plays like Cub Scouts, et cetera.
00:19:40.400And so now it's we've awakened the American people, the impact on wage rates and the social costs and the criminal costs and the 100,000 dead from drugs.
00:19:52.100All that gets bypassed in this conversation.
00:19:55.060All these supposed people are in favor of inclusivity and all this kind of thing.
00:19:59.800They miss the impact on the American people here.
00:20:02.980And so it's just the gaslighting from the left.
00:20:06.720They tell you, just like Rachel having a meltdown there.
00:20:09.200The real meltdown is they brought 10 million illegal folks into the country illegally with no one saying anything.
00:20:20.440The legal think tanks on our side weren't strong enough.
00:20:23.920And now now we are faced with Trump and the MAGA movement.
00:20:26.900We stood firm, you know, for every, you know, for years we hammered this with Todd Benzman and Ben Berquam and Oscar Blue Ramirez and made sure the American people knew what the scam here was.
00:20:38.020Do we have now we've had a slight technical problem?
00:20:42.480Rogan or Hanley, you were in the White House yesterday in the press briefing room laying it out, the historical foundation for your element.
00:20:49.060You broke this the other day on the war room.
00:20:53.300I think it's more relevant now than it even was a couple of days ago.
00:20:57.580Walk us through your suspension of habeas corpus in a time of a national emergency to basically rid the nation of the invader, sir.
00:21:06.220Yeah, I'm just glad Caroline didn't ask me to repeat the question.
00:21:09.300It was a little bit long winded, but I wanted to anticipate the counterattacks from the media losing their minds and address their biggest arguments right up front so they couldn't have an easy win here.
00:21:20.760But, you know, and I also wanted to kind of educate people on on what this is, what has been done in the past and what it would mean and why we would limit it just to illegal aliens.
00:21:32.580We're not deporting American or, you know, abolishing the writ of habeas corpus for American citizens.
00:21:51.120And this is this matters for so many reasons.
00:21:54.180It not only matters for the rule of law so that people believe in our courts again.
00:22:00.340It not only matters for the strain on our social services, hundreds of billions of dollars in welfare benefits.
00:22:06.480It not only matters for lowering crime and making our streets a lot safer, how many hundreds of Americans have been killed by illegal aliens.
00:22:16.520But it really matters for the 2030 census.
00:22:20.800OK, and Democrats, blue states have been bleeding citizens moving to red states.
00:22:27.720And without counting illegals in the census, we could pick up 12 electoral college votes in these safe red states by the 2030 census.
00:22:51.420So I think there are exigent circumstances.
00:22:54.120There is a very big kind of goal here.
00:22:59.540And I think it would put Trump in the historical president category to exercise this and do what needs to be done.
00:23:07.120And so I wanted to start to put this out there now, soften the battlefield for him so that if and when he does finally do this, the American people are fully supportive.
00:23:23.880Next thing you know, a couple of days later, you're in the White House briefing room.
00:23:26.600And they're doing a special they're doing kind of a special briefing to have you you and Homan highlight.
00:23:32.740There's obviously a lot of interest in this.
00:23:34.400I want to go back one more time and just in two minutes, make your case again, because people go, oh, my God, this is dictatorial powers, right?
00:26:05.100And the hill they are dying on is around a human trafficker, a human, by the way, which the Tennessee State Police will not release to Michael Patrick Leahy.
00:26:19.020Text Bannon, B-A-N-N-O-N at nine eight nine eight nine eight to get the ultimate guy, the ultimate guy, totally free to investing in gold and precious metals in the era of Trump.
