Summary

Texas Democratic lawmakers flee the state in a last-ditch effort to delay a vote on a new congressional map ordered by President Trump, and it could have a big effect on the outcome of the mid-term elections in Texas and nationwide.

Transcript

00:00:00.000 nationwide consequences, and it's getting even more urgent as state Democratic lawmakers
00:00:04.180 have now fled the state entirely. They bolted to Illinois, Boston, New York on Sunday. It was a
00:00:11.420 last-ditch effort to delay voting on a new congressional map ordered by President Trump
00:00:16.780 in Texas, and it would give Republicans another five seats in next year's midterm elections.
00:00:23.580 We did not make a decision to come here today. We did not make a decision lightly.
00:00:30.000 But we come here today with absolute moral clarity that this is the absolutely the right thing to do
00:00:39.580 to protect the people of the state of Texas. The move denies the Texas legislature a quorum,
00:00:47.760 blocking Republican efforts to pass the new gerrymandered map during a special session.
00:00:52.280 Now, Governor Greg Abbott is lashing out, accusing Democratic lawmakers of abandoning their offices.
00:00:58.180 He's threatening their removal. State Attorney General Ken Paxton goes even further, suggesting
00:01:03.120 the lawmakers should be arrested, adding, quote,
00:01:05.840 we should use every tool at our disposal to hunt down those who think they're above the law.
00:01:10.760 Ramon Romero, you're state representative, and y'all know what's going on right now.
00:01:14.620 This is the fight that we're in. This is the fight that you're in. We didn't start this fight.
00:01:19.760 Donald Trump started it. He asked the Texas legislature to get rid of your voice.
00:01:23.720 So for me, I'm not going to do that. I'm not going to go to work to silence you. And there's
00:01:30.200 going to be a lot of people if that's what they're going to say. They ran away. They don't want to go
00:01:34.760 do their job. If my job is taking away your right to have a vote that matters, I'm not going to do it.
00:01:42.000 There's going to be other people that are going to go to the floor. It's not going to be me.
00:01:45.560 And it's not going to be my colleagues because we know what this means. This is the destruction
00:01:50.180 of America and the destruction of value of our vote. So you see me? Look at here. Bye.
00:01:57.560 I'm out, but I'm here for you.
00:01:59.560 Some of these lawmakers are actually in New York right now as well. The governor there is supposed
00:02:20.300 to meet with them today as part of all of this. When it comes to the balance of power in the house,
00:02:24.560 it comes down to just a fraction of a margin, essentially. The margin is already razor thin.
00:02:29.840 And so if you have five seats that could go then to the Republican column that might otherwise be
00:02:34.540 in the Democratic column, that could be the entire ballgame. We've seen this play out before in New
00:02:38.960 York. Congressman Hakeem Jeffries is very keen on becoming Speaker Hakeem Jeffries. And so he is eager
00:02:45.440 to do anything he can to make sure that he holds on to that. The thing is, there's actually a history
00:02:49.140 of a quorum break-in in Texas, basically, where in the past, even the state rangers were called in
00:02:55.400 to use force to make lawmakers come back. You're nodding. You remember this back in 2021.
00:03:01.560 And there is one person, a political science professor, tells the Texas Tribune that there
00:03:08.880 actually aren't that many options to force them to return. But there are some things, like they could
00:03:15.380 take a novel aggressive measure, trimming the $20,000 monthly operating budgets given to house
00:03:20.900 members to run their office, declaring the seats vacant and triggering special elections. That's
00:03:27.280 never been used. And of course, there's the $500 daily fines for every day that they're away. But
00:03:31.940 remember, when it comes to things like the $20,000 budget deficit or the $500 daily fines, this is what
00:03:37.940 fundraising is for. And it's not just going to attract the interests of people in Texas. Nationally,
00:03:43.120 I think you're going to have a lot of people who are interested in this, who are worried about
00:03:46.540 what redistricting is doing to politics, who are going to come in and help to fund these through
00:03:50.360 PACs. So I don't think that's the real issue. The seat vacancy thing, we've never seen that before.
00:03:54.900 I don't know actually how that would work. The vote is supposed to happen today. So we'll get a little
00:03:59.040 bit more information. But I'm watching, you were mentioning New York, also Illinois Governor
00:04:03.880 Pritzker coming in and hosting a bunch of these Democrats.
00:04:07.440 Because the Supreme Court has paved the way from the
00:04:37.420 for half the stuff that we see that's going on. Listen, Donald Trump is a piece of
00:04:41.760 . Okay, we know that. Yes. Yes. He is. He is. He is. But in a functioning democracy,
00:04:51.660 he still would not be able to get away with this. But he's been able to get away with this
00:04:56.560 because the House Republicans are complicit. He's been able to get away with this because Senate
00:05:02.060 Republicans are complicit. But most importantly, the courts, especially the Supreme Court is
00:05:10.220 complicit. And so I think one of the places that we have to start is we are absolutely they are the
00:05:16.420 they are the highest court in the lands and they have no ethics guardrails. Now you go down to the
00:05:22.320 lower courts and they do. How much sense does that make? Well, we know that they're taking money.
00:05:28.180 We have the paper trail and they refuse to put guardrails on themselves. So it's time for us to
00:05:34.180 do it for them. You have till 3 p.m., according to the state attorney general, to get back to the
00:05:41.240 state. You're facing these fines every day after. Are you worried that if at a certain point you're in
00:05:45.940 some sort of violation of the law, right, because of these fines, that your seats could be declared
00:05:50.880 vacant, that special elections could be called?
00:05:53.060 There is no violation of the law right now, and it's a huge violation of the separation of powers
00:05:59.240 for the governor to think that he could remove members of the legislature because he doesn't
00:06:03.320 agree with the way that they're conducting business in their position. It's asinine.
00:06:07.520 The reality is that these legislators are doing what it takes to make sure that the voters have an
00:06:12.860 opportunity to hold Donald Trump accountable in the 2026 midterms, because when they push bills to
00:06:18.440 make sure that the richest people in this country pay less in taxes than the poorest,
00:06:22.080 and that they're shutting down rural hospitals across this country, driving up your energy
00:06:27.120 rates, then Democrats have to step up to make sure that we're doing everything we can to make
00:06:31.680 your life more affordable. And that means having the opportunity to hold Republicans accountable
00:06:35.720 in the 2026 midterm election.
00:06:40.400 This is the primal scream of a dying regime. Pray for our enemies, because we're going medieval on
00:06:48.880 these people.
00:06:50.480 You're just not got a free shot at all these networks lying about the people. The people have had a belly
00:06:55.920 full of it. I know you don't like hearing that. I know you've tried to do everything in the world
00:06:59.440 to stop that, but you're not going to stop it. It's going to happen.
00:07:02.000 And where do people like that go to share the big line? Mega media. I wish in my soul, I wish that any of
00:07:10.080 these people had a conscience. Ask yourself, what is my task and what is my purpose? If that answer is
00:07:17.600 to save my country, this country will be saved.
00:07:22.320 War Room. Here's your host, Stephen K. Bannon.
00:07:30.240 It's Monday, 4 August in the year of alert 2025. There's a lesson there, War Room Posse, about how
00:07:36.240 something that's so obscure and nobody's focused on and Abbott doesn't want to do and Patrick doesn't
00:07:40.400 want to do and none of the Texas establishment wants to do. You give the War Room Posse, I don't
00:07:45.600 know, two weeks with a fire brand like Brian Harrison, and then it becomes the number one
00:07:51.200 political story in the world. On fire right now. We've got a bunch more we're going to get to.
00:07:56.480 Recess appointment fiasco. I'll get to that. BLS, this Fed governor opening seditious conspiracy.
00:08:03.040 We are jammed on a Monday, but first things first with the War Room Posse. And by the way,
00:08:08.880 the War Room Posse has created the ability to make changes in all of these, and we're going to get
00:08:15.120 you tons of information so you can become a force multiplier. First to Texas, Brian Harrison joins us.
00:08:22.160 Brian, the governor last night finally woke up. He came out, I think with a bombshell,
00:08:27.600 three o'clock today, and it looks like Paxton's backing him up. Three o'clock today,
00:08:32.080 when you call the Texas House in, the folks up there talking big smack talk last night in Illinois
00:08:40.480 are going to have their seats vacated. Is this what's going to happen? Is Abbott finally going
00:08:46.400 to throw down hard here, sir? I don't know. We're going to see. We're going to find out. What I would
00:08:52.080 say is prepare for a whole bunch of really bad kabuki theater and smoke and mirrors from a lot of
00:08:57.440 elected Republicans in Texas who are going to want to sound tough and look like they're taking bold
00:09:02.880 action to rein in these rogue Democrats. Here's the reality. Okay, this is what it all boils down to.
00:09:07.920 This is another, and it seems a limitless series, of abject failures by the elected so-called Republican
00:09:17.600 leadership in the Texas government. Here are the facts. If elected Republicans in the state of Texas
00:09:24.320 wanted to have done redistricting, redistricting would have been done by now. We could have done
00:09:28.480 this in the regular session. We could have gotten this done in the first half of the regular session.
00:09:32.320 And here's the biggest point on the quorum break. If the elected leadership of the state of Texas had
00:09:36.720 wanted to stop the quorum break, they had every tool at their disposal to do it. And just for example,
00:09:42.800 Steve, I was on the war room. I think Natalie was hosting on Wednesday, just a few days ago. Well,
00:09:47.680 guess what did we have here in the Capitol on Wednesday, just four short days ago? We had the
00:09:53.520 maps. They had been filed. We had the Democrats and we had a quorum. Well, what did our so-called
00:10:01.280 Republican speaker do after only seven minutes with those conditions? The Democrats are here.
00:10:05.600 We've got a quorum. We've got the maps. What did he do? He adjourned the whole body and released the
00:10:13.360 Democrats. And I'm not making this up so that they could go and huddle up and collude and scheme
00:10:18.880 with Hakeem Jeffries, just a few hours later, who had flown down from DC to meet with the Democrats
00:10:25.760 to plan their exodus. So here's the reality. This is a failure of elected Republicans in the state
00:10:31.600 of Texas. If the state of Texas had bold Republicans, the type of bold Republicans,
00:10:36.080 Republicans that governed with the type of boldness you see out of the President Trump's first and
00:10:39.600 second administrations, this quorum break would never have happened. So I predict on the floor
00:10:45.360 today, you're going to see a lot of theatrics from the House leadership team. There's going to be
00:10:49.120 motions and resolutions to strip Democrats of their titles and take their parking spots away and maybe
00:10:55.040 mess around with their seniority. This is smoke and mirrors. It's bad theater. Don't let them get
00:11:00.800 away with it. Elected Republicans hold all the cards. They held all the cards. And this is another
00:11:05.600 failure. And the voters of Texas deserve better. But quite frankly, the people, the patriots across
00:11:10.560 America deserve better because the future of our country is on the line. The Democrats in Texas
00:11:16.080 are acting like it. They always act like it. It's past time elected Republicans in Texas
00:11:20.160 start acting like they know what time it is in America. With all these theatrics today,
00:11:26.240 those guys are in Illinois. You know, nobody knows who's paying for them. Pritzker's basing his
00:11:30.720 presidential run on this. The left is finally now woken up to the fact that the Big 12, when I say
00:11:36.080 the Big 12, I mean five in Texas, five in Florida, one in Missouri, one in Indiana, and maybe more to
00:11:42.640 come, will change the basic map of the United States and make the House impervious to take over
00:11:52.000 by these radical Democrats. What do you recommend today? Three o'clock. The governor's already laid out,
00:11:56.560 and Paxton, I think, has said they're going to strip them. With all the theatrical kabuki theater,
00:12:01.200 what's the reality of actually forcing some of these guys? I think you need 12 of them back
00:12:06.080 and probably a couple in the Senate too. What can we do? And what can the Warren Posse do who's been,
00:12:12.160 you know, folks are got, we're fixed bayonets right now. And we know people respond mainly
00:12:17.280 at the tip of a bayonet to push them along. What do you recommend?
00:12:20.720 Well, just don't let the pressure up. I mean, we got the map out of committee,
00:12:23.600 which is quite frankly, further than I thought we might've done. And I, as you and I have
00:12:27.440 discussed on the air, I credit the Warren Posse and Patriots across the country for forcing action.
00:12:32.080 But the elected Republican leadership in the state of Texas, they need to be told,
00:12:37.040 we're not going to stop watching you. And here's the reality. See, we are very,
00:12:39.680 very far behind the hate ball. The play on this, the way to get this done was to have done it by now,
00:12:45.440 was to stop them from leaving because the speaker and the governor had all the power they needed to
00:12:49.520 stop them from leaving. But the fact that they're already gone, here's the reality. We've got
00:12:53.360 only two weeks left in the special session. It might necessitate multiple special sessions,
00:12:57.040 but yeah, every tool, every legal mechanism needs to be on the table to get them arrested
00:13:02.000 and to bring them back here. You know, if the vacate idea coming out of the governor's office,
00:13:07.600 this is more than we've seen from him in previous quorum breaks, because the reality is we have a long,
00:13:12.800 we have precedent in the state of Texas for Democrats being able to do whatever they want.
00:13:16.640 And here's one thing we haven't talked about. These Democrats that fled,
00:13:20.320 these radical leftist extremist Marxist Democrats, these are the people that elected
00:13:25.040 the Republican leadership of the Texas house. So the Republican leadership has lost control.
00:13:31.040 If we had bold, effective Republican leadership down here, this never would have happened.
00:13:34.160 And the governor, Lieutenant governor and speaker, they need to know right now in no uncertain terms,
00:13:38.640 the eyes of America are on you. We should have done this before now. We should have done it in regular
00:13:43.120 session. We should have done it in the first half of the special session. They never should have been
00:13:47.120 allowed to leave. This is on you to solve this problem and get redistricting done so we can save
00:13:50.960 our country.
00:13:51.840 Brian, can you hang on? I'm going to bring Alex DeGrasse on, who's the strategist who really was
00:13:58.080 the driving force and the architect behind the last redistricting. Alex DeGrasse is going to join us.
00:14:04.000 Birch Cold is our sponsor. So much going on. There's a federal, there's a Federal Reserve
00:14:08.880 governorship seat available. Of course, we think the great Judy Shelton, a audience favorite,
00:14:16.960 should take that seat. We've deconstructed her in the process of deconstructing the
00:14:20.880 administrative state. Let's now deconstruct the Federal Reserve before we shut it down.
00:14:27.040 That's what Judy, that's what Judy will mean as Fed Federal Reserve Governor E.J.
00:14:30.800 Antony as the new head of Bureau of Labor Statistics. That's what we're pushing.
00:14:34.720 He's the guy that almost single-handedly took it down by going through their numbers.

00:14:59.440 This July, there is a global summit of BRICS nations in Rio de Janeiro, the block of emerging
00:15:05.760 superpowers, including China, Russia, India, and Persia, are meeting with the goal of displacing
00:15:12.560 the United States dollar as the global currency. They're calling this the Rio Reset. As BRICS
00:15:19.360 nations push forward with their plans, global demand for U.S. dollars will decrease, bringing
00:15:24.000 down the value of the dollar in your savings. While this transition won't not happen overnight,
00:15:30.480 but trust me, it's going to start in Rio. The Rio Reset in July marks a pivotal moment
00:15:36.640 when BRICS objectives move decisively from a theoretical possibility towards an inevitable reality.

00:16:30.640 Beep.
00:16:40.560 Woo!
00:16:43.760 Wow.
00:16:44.080 All the time.
00:16:44.640 921.
00:16:45.520 Oh my god, girl.
00:16:47.360 That was pretty good.
00:16:48.000 Your first time? That was really good.
00:16:49.840 You're going dog nuts.
00:16:51.440 You're ready, girl.
00:16:52.640 Yes.
00:16:53.200 Sidney Sweeney has great splits.
00:17:01.920 Okay, thank you.
00:17:03.520 When I hit the mic, time to come in.
00:17:06.400 Right there, pretty impressive shooting, right?
00:17:09.760 Alex DeGrasse joins us. Brian Harrison sticking around.
00:17:13.520 Alex, as you know, you were out for a little while when you left. The thing in Texas was a
00:17:19.680 nothing burger. Now it's the biggest political story in the world. Once again, had tipped to
00:17:24.240 the war on posse. You guys went to the ramparts, started lighting people up. Brian Harrison
00:17:30.560 every day was just given tremendous guidance on this. How important is this? You were the architect
00:17:35.760 kind of of the last time we went through this exercise when you started warning people early on
00:17:40.000 about Tennessee and Missouri, and particularly Florida, that, hey, this was very important
00:17:44.720 and wasn't getting done. If we had not done that in 2022, I don't know, man. I don't know where
00:17:50.640 that thing would have turned out. How important is these redistricting because of the massive
00:17:54.720 demographic shifts in the country? How important are these redistricting now throughout the nation?
00:18:01.600 Well, thanks, Steve. And Brian is great, by the way. I've known him for years and appreciate
00:18:06.960 everything he's doing. And he's got a lot of fans across the country. And I think
00:18:10.240 this could be the whole ballgame, Steve. I mean, the last couple mid-elections for the House have
00:18:15.280 been decided with very few margins and very few changes in the number of seats. And so while we did
00:18:23.280 great last time and ultimately the efforts that we and the posse took the lead on to deliver what we were
00:18:30.960 able to deliver last cycle is obviously what has held the House majority for us, no doubt. But I
00:18:35.680 will say many people thought, hey, we can go further. We've got to go further. And I think
00:18:39.680 the reality is Democrats, you know, they're flying in Illinois, which is the most gerrymandered state
00:18:44.800 in the entire country. So I'm not really sure from a PR or an optics point of view, you know,
00:18:50.720 they're going to get out of that. Obviously, they tried to gerrymander New York and in California.
00:18:56.400 They would if they could. And now they're going to try, of course. But because
00:18:59.200 they have put in all these sort of fake commissions and different things like that,
00:19:04.400 that they use as sort of props to try to say they don't gerrymanger, they're a little bit
00:19:09.600 delayed on if they'll be able to respond, which is why, you know, the high up people in the party
00:19:14.560 see an opportunity to try to jam 12 seats, obviously move our margin up to about 15 seats
00:19:20.800 and provide a buffer all legally for what will be a tough midterm. I mean, just historically.
00:19:25.920 Now, I think we feel great on the issues we've spoken about on the show about, you know,
00:19:31.200 how many seats that Trump won that are held by Democrats. But regardless, we can't get anything
00:19:36.800 for chance because the House majority is the entire ballgame. And everyone understands that
00:19:41.440 from President Trump's political team. I think the posse understands that operatives everywhere that
00:19:46.000 that that this cycle is the game. And that's the game that the posse has been playing for years.
00:19:49.840 We've been talking about the House majority. I mean, no one talks more about the House majority than
00:19:54.640 your show, Steve. And so I think it's really important. I think Texas is huge, Indiana,
00:19:59.520 Missouri, obviously Florida, the five there. So 12 would be great because I don't know that they'll
00:20:04.400 be able to move the numbers in California, New York this cycle. They will next cycle. But we got to
00:20:09.680 get through this one and hold the line. Let's talk about I want to go back. Yeah. Yeah. First off,
00:20:16.800 the Democratic polling is pretty anemic, right? I think they're up to in a generic poll. And remember,
00:20:22.560 let's take particularly 18. And I think that's a close analogy. Nancy Pelosi, it was all about
00:20:29.200 impeaching Trump. They they they they walked precincts. They did the hard work. I remember
00:20:34.640 having a meeting one time at the at the war room, the Breitbart embassy. It was in the middle of July
00:20:41.040 of of 18. And I had some people there and I said, hey, right now is it like, I don't know,
00:20:45.520 I'm 90 degrees in Iowa. And I said, those people are walking districts right now,
00:20:50.000 knocking on doors, canvassing because they are so infuriated with President Trump.
00:20:55.040 They will do anything to give Nancy Pelosi a majority. And the first thing you know,
00:20:59.520 first the first opportunity to compete, oh, no, they'll never mention that. I said, you wait.
00:21:04.080 And of course, we saw I think they won 40 seats. You don't see you see a lot of anger.
00:21:08.880 But because our policies are working, you don't see a lot of traction. They're they're
00:21:13.360 they're pulling is anemic. Therefore, two things. One, they must blunt this. If they don't blunt this,
00:21:20.000 they're out of luck. So they must stop Texas. They must stop Florida. Obviously,
00:21:24.400 Indiana, Missouri, the what I call the big 12. In addition, in California, Illinois and New York,
00:21:31.520 they're a little jammed up. Right. I think I think Illinois is already 14 to three.
00:21:34.880 Three. It's the most dramatic fact. When Pritzker's when Pritzker's given his big speech last night,
00:21:40.240 which is really his launch of his presidential campaign, some reporter who's I don't think
00:21:44.640 a conservative reporter goes, hey, how can you these guys here? You're the most gerrymandered state
00:21:50.720 in the union. He even know how to answer it. Right. He's just kind of flustered.
00:21:55.200 I take it the structural impediments to California, New York and Illinois make it fairly remote.
00:22:01.440 They could get it done. Although Gavin Newsom's talked about putting making a special election
00:22:05.200 in November. It would be pretty remote that they could do anything to do major redistricting in
00:22:10.320 those three states, sir. Yeah. So New York is talking about 2028. And I think
00:22:15.840 Kathy Hochul's hosting some of these Texas Democrats right now. They're actually live right now. I would
00:22:21.520 ask if the control room later or camera if they put up the map for the posse to see of the Illinois.
00:22:26.800 I mean, any voter looking at that says this is the craziest thing. I mean, you've got a line,
00:22:32.080 a seat all across the entire state. It makes absolutely no sense at all. It's totally gerrymandered.
00:22:36.880 So they're pretty much maxed out there because they did that. And then with California, similar,
00:22:41.200 they have to change the state constitution. Newsom talking about some type of special election
00:22:45.680 or referendum. But I think he's got about 95 days, 100 days, you know, until November. So it's sort
00:22:51.280 of confusing how he gets that done. But all these guys kind of one up each other. Pritzker,
00:22:55.680 Newsom, I mean, it's kind of interesting. And obviously, like you said earlier, the numbers
00:22:59.440 are in the gutter. The Democrat brand is a disaster. I think operationally they're sort of
00:23:04.320 shattered. You look at the cash on hand advantages that Republicans have when you include President
00:23:09.680 Trump's committees, NRCC, RNC. I mean, their fundraising is in the gutter. You've got these
00:23:15.760 scam packs on the Democrat side that are grifting, taking hundreds of millions of dollars. There's a
00:23:20.480 couple of reports out about that, which is kind of interesting using act blue and only like 2%
00:23:25.520 of the money actually goes into the fight. So it's very interesting. They've got major,
00:23:30.800 major kind of structural problems on their side. And so, you know, I feel optimistic about wherever
00:23:36.080 you are as a party, but you can't leave anything to chance. You got to scoop what we can legally
00:23:41.440 and get that firewall. Because again, we could be talking about one or two seat majority again,
00:23:46.640 right? And we just need one to prevent Hakeem Jeffries.
00:23:51.200 They're going to look, they've blown the opportunity to do this the easy way. So now
00:23:54.400 they got to do it the hard way. What is your recommendation to, because there's been some
00:23:58.320 hesitancy as there always is in the establishment to want to get down and dirty on these fights.
00:24:03.520 What is your recommendation to, uh, to the leadership in Texas as these guys, as, as it reconvenes at
00:24:10.720 three o'clock and the Democrats are in Illinois. Uh, and I don't know why they would go to a Yankee state,
00:24:16.320 but Hey, I guess the Democrats, you know, know better than, uh, folks down at Texas.
00:24:20.720 What's your recommendation to governor Abbott, uh, to the attorney general Paxson left time,
00:24:25.600 Governor Patrick and leadership of the house and Senate down there. What's your recommendation?
00:24:29.920 So I would say that we either get two years to govern the country or we have four,
00:24:34.240 and this is the once in a lifetime, you know, transformational period for the country.
00:24:38.640 Look at what president Trump has done in six months. We need to do everything we can legally,
00:24:43.520 nothing illegally, legally to ensure that we hold the house majority. Cause that's it is when we
00:24:49.840 lose it, it's done. Everything ends Steve impeachment investigations, no more bills,
00:24:54.720 no more cuts, no more anything. So we either get two years or we get four and we'll deal with
00:24:59.520 everything, you know, in 2028 and we'll reset and get a handle on that. But we have to be thinking
00:25:04.800 2026 midterm margins in the house and how we're gonna be able to continue to pass bills.
00:25:10.720 That's it. That's all that matters. So we have to go shoulder to the, whatever we can do, whatever
00:25:14.720 the envelope legally we were able to push could be make or break for the entire country. This isn't
00:25:20.240 just about Texas, obviously, or anything else. This is about, will we be able to, you know,
00:25:25.840 ensure the golden age and enact the mandate of the American people over the next four years?
00:25:30.480 Because if we lose it in the house, it's it. I mean, there's no more anything, of course, Steve.
00:25:35.680 Steve. Alex, uh, DeGrasse, you're back in the saddle. Where do people go for your content,
00:25:42.000 sir? Thank you, Steve. And thank you, Brian Harrison. So I'm at DeGrasse 81 on x Getter
00:25:47.840 Truth. Thank you guys. We'll be in touch more about everything going on. And I think this is
00:25:52.080 really important that people call, provide positive reinforcement, I think, to folks that we're
00:25:57.200 really counting on them. And this is a nationwide thing. It's not just Texas. So thank you guys.
00:26:01.120 Thank you, Alex. Appreciate you. Brian Harrison, make us smart. What should we be looking for today?
00:26:08.000 And what do you need the war and posse to do on this Monday for August year of our Lord 2025 to
00:26:13.360 make sure this thing happens? What we should be looking for today, again, we're so far behind
00:26:18.400 the eight ball. I mean, this isn't like we fumble, you know, the Republican elected Republicans in
00:26:21.600 Texas fumbled the football. It's like the elected Republicans in Texas handed the ball to the other
00:26:25.520 team and said, go run. And then we're going to pretend to catch you. I mean, that's how bad this is.
00:26:29.600 So what we need right now are not tough words. We don't need strongly written House resolutions.
00:26:35.840 We need action. The Democrats have to know that something is different this time. Unlike every
00:26:42.800 other time, they've done exactly the same thing and faced no consequences. Because again, the Republican,
00:26:48.480 nominally Republican Speaker of the Texas House, he owes all of these Democrats. They're his power center
00:26:53.600 because it's the Democrat caucus that elected him in the first place. And that's why the elected
00:26:58.880 Republicans in Texas, they need to know that they've already dropped the ball in the worst
00:27:04.800 possible way. And these Democrats, if you watch their press conference last night, these guys are
00:27:09.920 acting like nothing that's coming out of the governor's mansion or the House leadership Twitter
00:27:14.720 feed is surprising to them. They're acting like they expected all of this. And there's good reason for
00:27:20.560 it. They've never been punished before when they have, you know, left their post and fled this state to
00:27:26.480 try and stop us. And last time they fled the state, it was something, it was over something far less
00:27:30.960 consequential. It was an election integrity, one single election integrity bill down here.
00:27:34.720 They know that the future as your last guest, you know, Alex, and you just got done talking about
00:27:39.840 the future of the United States Congress hangs in the balance. If we're talking about a one or two
00:27:44.880 seat margin, this five seats could absolutely swing that. So we need bold action, not what we usually
00:27:54.000 see down here from the liberal Austin unit party, which is bold sounding words and strongly worded
00:28:00.000 tweets and very firmly written press statements. We need action. They need to be arrested if they need
00:28:06.320 to be brought back. Brian, real quickly, your social media, your Twitter, people need to go to it. Where is it?
00:28:12.640 At Brian E. Harrison on X, at Brian E. Harrison on X. I'll be updating you with a posse in America
00:28:19.960 throughout the day here. Okay, folks, let's get to work. Short break.
00:28:26.960 According to the Department of Energy, blackouts could increase by 10,000 percent over the next few
00:28:31.960 years. It's because of massive energy demand from artificial intelligence data centers. We talk about
00:28:37.660 that all the time here in the war room. And we have a fragile power grid. It just cannot
00:28:42.600 keep up with that demand. I don't know about you, but I don't like the idea of being without power
00:28:47.720 even for a day. That's why I got the grid doctor 3,300 from my patron supply. It's a powerful solar

00:30:05.000 movement. Now I've heard, surely this isn't true, but I've heard that one of the candidates running for my
00:30:14.140 office wants to be different. Now I'm wondering how you'd want to be different from the longest serving
00:30:24.160 Senate leader in American history. I'm wondering
00:30:29.080 I'd want to be different in supporting President Trump.
00:30:38.460 Let me just tell you a little quiz. Which of Kentucky's two Republican senators supports
00:30:46.240 President Trump the most? It's actually me. I am so glad to see that Mitch
00:30:54.120 McConnell bothered to show up today. But you know, I'm really confused. I thought this was
00:31:01.120 Fancy Farm. I didn't realize this was Bring Your Boys to Work Day. Who here can honestly tell
00:31:08.340 me that it's a good thing to have a senior citizen who freezes on national television during his
00:31:14.920 press conferences as our U.S. Senator? It seems to me, maybe, just maybe, Mitch is time to leave
00:31:23.800 the Senate was a long time ago. I mean, for goodness sakes. A lot of us here at this picnic
00:31:30.120 talked a lot of smack about Joe Biden and how old he was and how out of touch he was with
00:31:35.840 the American people. So why is it that you all get so defensive when I talk about a man
00:31:41.860 who's older than Biden, just as mentally compromised, and holds the same positions on Biden on amnesty,
00:31:50.180 Ukraine funding, and his hatred for Trump?
00:31:55.540 Wow. Okay, let's talk reality. There's a big article over the weekend, I think it was in 74. I'll
00:32:00.100 make sure I get up ahead and post it yet, about how John Thune is running the apparatus of McConnell.
00:32:05.380 He's just McConnell's boy, just running the apparatus. Let me be brutally frank.
00:32:10.900 We're not having recess appointments because of John Thune and Polly Pockets, Speaker Johnson.
00:32:16.580 Speaker Johnson absolutely lied to the president over the weekend about
00:32:20.740 the mechanics and the Constitution and all of it. And here's the reason. They don't want
00:32:25.940 Thune and the McConnell apparatus do not want President Trump's folks in office.
00:32:32.020 Every day now, and you just heard Alex de Grasse right there. You either get two years of the golden
00:32:37.940 age or you get four years. If we lose the House, it's full stop. Yeah, President Trump can still do
00:32:45.300 some executive orders. Obviously, the executive branch, particularly the Article 2 powers are very
00:32:49.380 powerful, but you're going to have investigations. You're going to have impeachments. You're going
00:32:53.540 to have all of it. This is why we have made it, as we did in 22, right? The thing that has to be
00:33:00.020 focused on in the summer of the summer of 2025. And you've made history. The story now in Texas is
00:33:07.220 the biggest political story in the world. Why two weeks ago is dead. Why? The establishment
00:33:12.180 doesn't want the redistricting. You know this. In the Senate, the same way.
00:33:18.740 Every day is like a month. A month is like a year. And right now, because we didn't really go into
00:33:25.780 recess and John Thune lied to the president and Polly Pockets Johnson lied to the president. We don't
00:33:32.740 have this. And so you're not going to have it in September because September is another whole fight
00:33:36.660 we're going to start tomorrow, folks. They're working on right now John Thune with the McConnell
00:33:41.060 apparatus. Guess who's working on? A 9000 page omnibus. Now they're going to say,
00:33:46.580 what's a minibus omnibus? And they won a CR for the whole year with a $2 trillion deficit in it.
00:33:52.580 The games don't stop. And Mitch McConnell has the stones to sit there and say, who's the,
00:34:00.020 the reason the country is in bad a shape as it is in is because Mitch McConnell and the globalists
00:34:06.500 and the neoliberal neocons of Mitch McConnell, who made himself wealthy, he came in, he had like 50
00:34:12.020 bucks in the bank, who made himself wealthy, kowtowing to the donors, kowtowing to Wall Street
00:34:17.220 and the corporatists, went along for the ride with the radical Democrats. They never fought him.
00:34:22.340 And no, I was there. He does not support President Trump. He hates President Trump and does everything
00:34:28.340 he can do behind the scenes, makes Doreen Thornton. The reason we have pro forma right now,
00:34:35.700 recess, which is an embarrassment. When you're out of power, I fully agree that the party out of power,
00:34:41.540 like the Republicans did it with Obama, a hundred percent agree. You have to do it.
00:34:45.300 If a Democrats had the Senate and doing it, no problem. That's part of the structural techniques
00:34:50.820 that we have some of these customs and traditions. When the party in power, this
00:34:55.620 is the Senate with the McConnell operation with Dune as the, uh, as the, uh, as the pretty boy up
00:35:04.100 front, the spoke, I call him the spokes model. He's the spokes model are showing they don't trust
00:35:10.420 President Trump and they don't trust his nominees. This situation with the recess is a humiliation.
00:35:18.980 They have lied to the president consistently. This was so easy to do. And you know,
00:35:23.700 what we have in the month of August, nothing in a September, you're not going to get one person
00:35:27.780 passed. Why? Because you're going to be in a firestorm about funding the government
00:35:32.660 by midnight on the 30th of September. They'll get to it in October. And in October, I think in the
00:35:37.540 first week of October, there's another recess and they have to, at that time, do recess appointments
00:35:42.820 because they're talking about on the margin. We're going to go to the nuclear option, which is,
00:35:45.540 you know, take a couple hours off here. That John Thune lied to the president of the United States.
00:35:51.060 And if John Thune's got anything to say about it, call me. You're a liar. You lied to the president,
00:35:56.260 to his face, Polly Pockets, hit out in Israel, right? Hit out in Israel, uh, and then lied to
00:36:02.660 the president of the United States about the constitutionality of this. Mike Lee was 100%
00:36:07.380 correct the entire time. But what are we sitting here now? Pro forma, the humiliation of pro forma
00:36:12.180 recess because they don't trust the president of the United States appointments. Full stop.
00:36:16.500 Nate Morris joins us now. Uh, Nate, I don't know, uh, to sit there and have, uh, McConnell
00:36:24.500 bald face lie. He's not a supporter of the president. It's an open secret in Washington,
00:36:28.820 D.C. And he sits there and the folks in Kentucky, no offense that are applauding
00:36:32.660 Mitch McConnell. You should be ashamed of yourself. Mitch McConnell has brought shame on you. I think
00:36:38.100 his national polling is at 9%. The Commonwealth of Kentucky has been humiliated by Mitch McConnell's
00:36:46.180 acts. The country's in the shape it's in and president Trump's got to turn it around because
00:36:50.260 Mitch McConnell, the longer serving looter in the thing, you had every opportunity to fight and
00:36:56.180 he didn't. He rolled over and he made a fortune, made a fortune. One with his connections with the
00:37:01.140 Chinese Communist Party. And number two, all the backroom deals he did for himself to make himself
00:37:06.100 wealthy for a guy that had 50 bucks, a country lawyer that had 50 bucks in his account, uh, when he
00:37:12.100 came to, uh, office, uh, Nate, how are we going to take the trash out with this guy? Cause he is trash.
00:37:18.740 Steve, this is what this whole campaign for the U S Senate. You may remember we launched about a
00:37:23.460 month ago and we are running in Kentucky to replace Mitch McConnell, uh, as an outsider is
00:37:31.220 someone who's not part of the political establishment. Steve, you know, I'm a businessman. I'm an entrepreneur.
00:37:36.180 Uh, I've done very, very well in the private sector. I don't need a job like this, but I felt like I had
00:37:42.180 to get in this race, Steve, because I see the two guys that were in it and they were nothing but puppets
00:37:47.540 for Mitch McConnell. This is Andy Barr and Daniel Cameron. And I wanted to showcase that we can have
00:37:53.060 another choice and Kentucky's long overdue as, as president Trump says to rid Kentucky of the stench of
00:38:00.580 Mitch. And that's what this campaign has been all about. And over the weekend at fancy farm,
00:38:06.660 Steve, you wouldn't believe it. Uh, Mitch McConnell, as soon as he gets to the stage,
00:38:11.220 what does he do? He attacks us. And his attack was, who doesn't want to be like me? Who doesn't
00:38:17.700 want to be like me? That's his attack. And I look at that in two things. I look at that. Number one,
00:38:23.940 Mitch, I don't want to be like you. I don't want to be the longest serving anything. And that's the
00:38:29.060 fundamental problem. You're the, you're bragging about being the longest serving leader in history.
00:38:34.340 That's the problem. And that's why Kentuckians are so angry. That's why America's angry. And
00:38:38.820 that's why people hate politicians in this country is because of that kind of thinking. And then I
00:38:42.980 look at the arrogance, the arrogance of Mitch McConnell to say, how dare you? You don't want to
00:38:48.340 be like me. Look how great I am as Mitch McConnell. And that's the hubris and arrogance that's gotten our
00:38:54.180 country into so much trouble, Steve. Uh, these career politicians, as you know, have driven our
00:38:59.140 country off a cliff. And I had the opportunity to make a couple speeches over the weekend and my
00:39:04.820 two opponents, Andy Barr and Daniel Cameron, the first thing they do after I quit speaking is they
00:39:10.500 go to the press and cry like babies and defending Mitch McConnell. They defend him. Oh, Nate's speech
00:39:16.820 is so dark. Nate's speech is so tough. You know, Steve, sometimes the truth hurts. The truth hurts.
00:39:24.020 And we've been truthful in this campaign and it's uncomfortable for a lot of the establishment,
00:39:28.580 the people that were clapping in that room, because that was an establishment crowd.
00:39:32.740 Uh, look, Steve, I was behind enemy lines, uh, at that speech. And I was willing to go there and
00:39:38.020 have that conversation for the people of Kentucky, because this is their seat. It's not Mitch's seat.
00:39:43.620 This belongs to the people. And these two weak men, these are two very, very weak men. Uh,
00:39:49.860 Andy Barr and Daniel Cameron, uh, they just continue to cry to the press and complain.
00:39:54.100 And not one of them, not one of them is willing to call out Mitch McConnell's record because they're
00:39:59.780 owned by Mitch. They owe everything to Mitch McConnell. And Steve, you wouldn't believe it over
00:40:05.700 and over again at every event during fancy farm, leading up to fancy farm, uh, the establishment was
00:40:11.540 giving standing ovation after standing ovation. They give this guy awards and just all this kudos.
00:40:17.620 You know, it's just this echo chamber of establishment people talking to each other.
00:40:22.180 And what do my opponents do? They keep standing up over and over again for these standing ovations.
00:40:27.140 And Steve, I'm proud. I was the only person I believe that was sitting down the entire time
00:40:32.180 and say, I'm not standing up for this. This is exactly the reason I'm running in Kentucky
00:40:38.020 is because this is about the people of Kentucky, that they need a leader that represents them.
00:40:43.060 And it's not willing just to continue on. Like we've had the last 40 years of building
00:40:48.980 the establishment centered around the cult of Mitch McConnell in Kentucky. And that's what's
00:40:53.460 gotten this, this, this state and this country in so much trouble. And you know that Steve.
00:40:59.780 In the heat of battle over the weekend, he departed to go to Kentucky because he's afraid of you and
00:41:03.780 your presentation at fancy farm. Now, he said he was eligible to come back. But it's one of the
00:41:09.300 reasons that his boy, his spokesmodel, because he's running the McConnell apparatus, his spokesmodel,
00:41:14.020 John Thune said and did everything he possibly could to stumble around and eventually put up false
00:41:20.420 deals and lied to the president of the United States about going into a true recess, not pro forma
00:41:25.540 recess and getting recess appointments. And Polly Pockets from Israel called into and lied to the president.
00:41:31.380 They're consistent liars. McConnell is a disgrace. Don't take it from me. Take it from his polling.
00:41:38.180 Lowest polling of any elected official in the country, a Republican official in the country,
00:41:43.220 just a disgrace. The country can't stand this guy. They hate him for a reason. The country's in as bad
00:41:49.220 a shape because he had every opportunity to stand and fight. And all he did was make money for himself,
00:41:53.780 money for the donors, kowtow to the donor class and the globalists.
00:41:57.860 Nate, people want to know where they go to find all this footage from the weekend,
00:42:02.180 where they go to find out more about your campaign.
00:42:05.460 Thank you, Steve. As you know, I need your help. We are up against the McConnell machine
00:42:10.340 here in Kentucky and nationally. And please go to NateMorris.com. Become part of this campaign.
00:42:16.420 Donate to this campaign. Come and follow us on X at Nate Morris. We need your support. We need your
00:42:22.820 help. We are going to do this. We are going to take out the trash finally in Kentucky and in
00:42:27.700 Washington, D.C. And I don't want to be anything like Mitch McConnell. This is the guy who supported
00:42:33.940 amnesty, who sabotaged President Trump every chance he gets, who put lawfare on President Trump,
00:42:39.620 and who blamed him for January 6th. We cannot have a person that he picks to go to the United States
00:42:46.340 Senate to fill the seat. So I thank you very much, Steve, for letting me be on today.
00:42:52.980 Nate, great, great job in going into the lion's den of fancy farms. Fantastic. Great speeches.
00:42:59.700 You're a fire breather and a man of courage and courage is courageous, contagious. Thank you,
00:43:04.100 sir. Appreciate you. Thank you, Steve. A tough one in Kentucky. And this weekend,
00:43:09.620 you saw the McConnell machine in all of its glory in Washington, D.C. It is a disgrace that we're not
00:43:16.260 in real recess right now, not this pro forma recess. And the President Trump's 100, I think,
00:43:22.100 in 60, 160 nominees are left in hang fire until October. Short break. Back in a moment.
00:43:28.580 You missed the IRS tax deadline. You think it's just going to go away? Well, think again.

00:44:54.100 get ahead of you. Do it today.
00:45:01.300 One of the engine room sends me something that's quite smart. They say they actually do trust Trump.
00:45:09.380 They trust him to drain the swamp. That's why they don't always appoint these in.
00:45:12.420 And I think it's a very smart way to say it. This was a fiasco over the weekend on this recess
00:45:20.100 appointments. A hundred percent of the blame goes to leadership in the Senate and the House.
00:45:25.380 This morning, we should be starting a real recess. And President Trump should have done a
00:45:31.540 recess appointments as the Constitution allows for his 160. You can't do judges. You can do U.S.
00:45:38.100 attorneys, I believe. You can get around the blue slip problem, at least on an interim basis,
00:45:42.660 and put the rest of the second and third tier folks you have to have in to run the government.
00:45:48.020 Days are like months. Weeks are like years, right? This is incredible. President Trump is now going
00:45:57.460 to be October. And they're all saying, oh, yeah, we'll handle this as soon as we get back. No,
00:46:00.340 you won't. There's only 10 legislative days in September, I think, 10 or 12. It's all going
00:46:07.940 to be consumed about a firefight we're going to have, folks. I've told you this. They are behind
00:46:12.020 the scenes trying to come up with an omnibus. And this one, we're going to have to go to the wall
00:46:17.380 because it's going to be too much. It's going to be too much. Everybody kind of sucked it in for the
00:46:23.460 CR, which we never should have done because Polly Pockets couldn't get his act together.
00:46:28.660 We had horrible Biden-Pelosi for all this fiscal year. That's all their numbers. That's where you're
00:46:33.540 going to have a $2 trillion deficit, even with the great numbers coming in from the tariffs,
00:46:40.820 President Trump's tariffs. And what they want to do is another massive spending bill with no pocket
00:46:47.140 rescissions, no rescissions, no impoundments. They don't want any of that. They want to just
00:46:51.140 continue the orgy of spending. And so all of September is going to be that. And then they'll
00:46:55.060 get to, and here's the solution. Oh, we're going to go to a nuclear option. It's carving a few
00:46:59.620 moments of time off of this. No. If you had done the plan that we recommended in the next 48 hours,
00:47:08.340 72 hours, all of President Trump's appointments would have gone through and people would have gone
00:47:14.340 to work by like Wednesday. That's two months. Two months are like years here. They
00:47:20.180 they understand that. And that's why they don't want them. They can give you every excuse. Call
00:47:24.100 your senator and say, why are you not on a real recess? Bombard Thune's office and say,
00:47:29.140 why did you lie to the president? Why did you not do Mike Lee's deal? Why did, why are we not?
00:47:34.020 Why are we in a pro forma recess? It is unheard of except for McConnell's time in the first term.
00:47:40.740 This is why McConnell hated Trump. He would never go on a real recess. Why? They didn't trust President
00:47:46.660 Trump and his appointments. This is obvious. And this is why the folks in Kentucky got to
00:47:51.300 understand reality. McConnell hates Trump. McConnell hates MAGA. And we hate him back.
00:47:57.300 He is a true scumbag. And it's one of the reasons this town runs like it runs
00:48:01.780 and has a country lawyer of no particular talent. Look at Mitch McConnell of no particular talent.
00:48:08.100 How does he? And by the way, the reason all the guys around him, all they love him,
00:48:11.620 because he brought them all to power. They've all made a fortune in not supporting the policies
00:48:17.540 of the country. They don't support MAGA. They're not America first. They're not nationalists.
00:48:21.860 They're globalists. Look at the Ukraine. Why has he been retired as Senate leader? Remember this
00:48:27.140 audience in the fight to get him removed on the Ukraine bill years ago when this audience stayed
00:48:34.100 up all night and heard the speeches on the Senate floor of everybody opposed it. Mitch McConnell's still
00:48:39.380 trying to jam it through. When he lost, he realized the game was over.
00:48:46.180 Right now we're getting victory after victory and the victories are coming because you're putting
00:48:49.460 your shoulder to the wheel. Once again, once again, your human agency, this Texas thing would have
00:48:54.660 never happened. The establishment in Austin and the Republican establishment in this great state of
00:49:01.540 Texas is worse than the establishment in Washington, D.C. Worse. Why? Because Texas is the railhead of
00:49:09.780 the MAGA movement. Trump won by 14 points after Soros for years with Breitbart. Remember, Andrew,
00:49:16.420 all of us, we set up Breitbart, Texas, the great Brandon Darby. All of it. Why? To bring,
00:49:22.580 to reveal to the nation this thing called immigration and open borders. And the Republican
00:49:28.820 established down there fought you every step of the way like they fought. They wanted this thing to
00:49:32.260 go to bed on the redistricting. Why? They don't want Trump to have a five or ten seat cushion.
00:49:37.620 It's uncomfortable for them. MSMEC says bad things about them. They don't like that.
00:49:42.580 They can't go to the club, right? They can't go make money because they're making money with a
00:49:48.100 bunch of progressive Democrats and folks from overseas. Yep. Got to speak truth to power here.
00:49:57.140 But you've changed it. You've forced them. And that's why we're going to force them today to
00:50:00.260 take action, not not no strongly lettered or strongly worded letters or anything like that. Take action.
00:50:06.820 Go arrest these Democrats. Put them in jail or take their seats away. I don't care.
00:50:10.900 Put them in jail or take their seats away. I'm indifferent.
00:50:14.100 But let's get it passed today and show people if you're going to play games like that,
00:50:18.580 there's consequences for playing games, just like there should be consequences for Polly Pockets.
00:50:24.500 You know, Polly Pockets all afraid. You know why he did? Oh, if we call the House back,
00:50:28.660 they'll vacate the chair. You didn't have to call the House back. That was a bald-faced lie.
00:50:32.180 You should read the Constitution or talk to somebody about the Constitution.
00:50:35.780 It is a crime for President Trump and the Trump movement right now and saving this country. We are
00:50:42.180 not on a recess. And his 160 appointees that are left in hang fire in these people's career,
00:50:49.140 they can't do anything. They're just sitting there in hang fire. They should be in office
00:50:54.500 tomorrow and Wednesday and at work. But no, no, no, no, no, no. Can't do that. Can't do,
00:51:00.660 got to do it. Think of the absurdity. This is absurd. We're on a pro forma. This is absurd.
00:51:07.700 This is absurd and it's offensive. And if they think they're going to do the smoke in Marazon,
00:51:12.740 nobody will pay attention. Hey, the war is paying attention. The war and posse is paying attention.
00:51:16.820 Thune, you're nothing but a spokesmodel for the broken and corrupt and incompetent McConnell machine.
00:51:22.740 And this is why the Senate's dysfunctional. This is why the Senate's dysfunctional.
00:51:27.460 And no, the big, beautiful bill, Senate bill doesn't show me anything more than your incompetence
00:51:32.900 because there's so much in there that's worse than the House bill. And we had to do it because
00:51:37.700 we had to get it through to get those tax cuts, the supply side tax cuts. Disgrace. Home title
