Bannon's War Room - Episode 4692： Realignment Of Modern American Politics And Trump's 200th Day

00:00:00.000 Consider a very powerful message from our 16th president, Abraham Lincoln.

00:00:05.360 Our next guest, historian John Meacham, picked this quote for us from Lincoln's annual address

00:00:10.480 to Congress back in 1862.

00:00:13.140 Quote, fellow citizens, we cannot escape history.

00:00:16.860 We of this Congress and this administration will be remembered in spite of ourselves.

00:00:22.020 The fiery trial through which we pass will light us down in honor or dishonor to the latest generation. 1.00

00:00:30.780 Lincoln gave that address one month before he signed the Emancipation Proclamation.

00:00:35.240 Operating more like the head of a banana republic than the leader of so-called big business party.

00:00:42.320 Earlier today, in an extraordinary intervention into a private sector company,

00:00:47.080 Donald Trump demanded that the CEO of the company Intel resign over his personal investments in China,

00:00:53.800 writing, quote, the CEO of Intel is highly conflicted and must resign immediately.

00:00:58.660 There is no other solution to this problem.

00:01:01.660 Thank you for your attention to this problem.

00:01:04.060 But I wanted you to join us tonight and think about President Trump's first 200 days,

00:01:10.580 because that's where we are tonight.

00:01:12.560 And I want you to think about Abraham Lincoln, someone who I know you have studied,

00:01:17.880 written about, and consider to be one of our greatest presidents.

00:01:21.480 What made you pick that particular quote, those words?

00:01:25.700 Because Lincoln puts us on the spot.

00:01:29.700 People like me spend a lot of time, understandably, describing, studying, articulating,

00:01:36.900 trying to find something new to say about the great leaders of the past.

00:01:43.140 But what Lincoln understood, and what I think all of us have to understand anew,

00:01:48.620 is that democracies are not just about the leaders, it's about the lead.

00:01:55.300 And that's all of us.

00:01:57.420 Democracy is the fullest manifestation of all of us, of our hearts and minds,

00:02:02.580 our habits, our appetites, our ambitions, our hopes and our fears.

00:02:08.520 And somehow, over the last 250 years, the American Republican, lowercase r, experiment,

00:02:16.680 has endured.

00:02:18.140 But it has endured with our being out of compliance for more years with the Declaration of Independence

00:02:27.200 than we have been in compliance with it.

00:02:29.740 Now, that is not to say that because we have made progress in the past,

00:02:34.880 we have pursued a more perfect union.

00:02:38.340 That does not mean we will continue to do so simply because we've done it in the past.

00:02:43.500 But if we realize that we can't escape history, as Lincoln said,

00:02:47.980 and that is, he said later in that same paragraph,

00:02:51.120 we're either going to meanly lose or nobly save the last best hope of Earth.

00:02:57.080 And he saw the Civil War, not only about the abolition of slavery and the durability of union,

00:03:06.380 but also it was a test for democracy.

00:03:09.400 He said that at Gettysburg, right?

00:03:11.440 Will this law, can this form of government so conceived long endure?

00:03:16.560 And that's what we're facing.

00:03:18.140 So Israel's Security Cabinet held this marathon meeting last night.

00:03:22.100 They voted in the early hours of the morning Israel time to approve a plan to send the Israeli military in to seize control of Gaza City.

00:03:31.620 Now, that on its face is a little more limited than what Prime Minister Netanyahu said to Fox News yesterday,

00:03:38.220 which is that Israel plans to militarily occupy the entire Gaza Strip.

00:03:42.380 It isn't clear at this point if taking Gaza City would be a first step towards eventually taking control of the entire Strip.

00:03:49.800 There is deep opposition among Israel's military leadership.

00:03:53.780 Nearly two years into this war, there is a feeling that Israel has achieved militarily all it can,

00:03:59.920 and yet the politicians are sending the generals in now to ramp up this military offensive.

00:04:06.500 There is deep concern, Willie, among the families of Israeli hostages.

00:04:11.120 We have seen in the past Hamas executing Israeli hostages when IDF troops draw near.

00:04:16.680 They are deeply, deeply frightened, the families of these roughly 20 or so surviving Israeli hostages,

00:04:22.880 that you could see something similar as Israeli forces sweep in again on the ground.

00:04:27.960 And then, as you say, there is this major question about who controls Gaza on the other side of this war.

00:04:34.580 Netanyahu is saying there that he wants to see an Arab force governing it.

00:04:39.480 He is not saying who that is.

00:04:42.080 We heard a unanimous statement from the Arab League last week saying that they believe Hamas should give up control in Gaza,

00:04:51.260 that they should lay down their weapons, and that they should hand over control to the Palestinian Authority,

00:04:56.080 the internationally recognized Palestinian semi-government.

00:04:59.840 But in that security cabinet vote overnight, the Israeli government explicitly saying they will not allow the Palestinian Authority to take control of Gaza.

00:05:08.740 So at this point, despite fighting for nearly two years, it remains deeply, deeply unclear whether Netanyahu has any kind of long-term plan for Gaza.

00:05:18.360 He does say Israel doesn't want to stay there long-term.

00:05:21.100 It's worth saying that is not necessarily a consensus position inside the Israeli government.

00:05:25.780 Some of the far-right members of his cabinet would like to see Israeli settlements re-established in Gaza on the other side of this.

00:05:32.600 In the first Trump administration, when the Muslim ban was put in place, think about all the leaders, right, in business and culture and society who stood up and said, this is not who we are.

00:05:42.660 After Charlottesville, they said, this is not who we are.

00:05:45.500 Fast forward to where we are right now, and you think about all the business leaders who say, man, I have a fiduciary responsibility.

00:05:53.220 I just have to play ball with this president no matter what.

00:05:55.720 I can't get in the way.

00:05:56.740 I can't be his adversary, even if it's the right thing to do, because I've got bills to pay.

00:06:01.680 What will that mean for us long-term, big picture?

00:06:06.720 Long-term, big picture.

00:06:08.800 Democratic institutions, lowercase d in this case.

00:06:11.860 I'm doing a lot of alphabetizing here.

00:06:14.320 Long-term, big picture, is that we may or may not have the same institutional norms and customs that you and I grew up with and that we're accustomed to.

00:06:26.920 And when we say norms, I think people look at people who look like me and think, okay, old white man says norms.

00:06:34.000 You know, that's sweet.

00:06:35.020 That's the deep state, blah, blah, blah.

00:06:36.820 Not really, because as a fundamental reality, no law can cover everything.

00:06:46.040 No statute can cover everything.

00:06:48.760 There's something about the spirit of the laws.

00:06:51.080 There are certain norms.

00:06:53.000 There are certain expectations.

00:06:55.380 You raise, you know, is this who we are?

00:06:58.780 Yeah, it is who a lot of us are.

00:07:01.420 And I throw myself in the, you know, the top of the, the top of the guilty pile there.

00:07:07.260 However, the point of the United States of America is that because that's who we are on our less good days does not mean that's who we have to be all the time.

00:07:20.740 This is a democracy is aspirational.

00:07:23.060 It is about somehow calling on what Lincoln called in other contexts, our better angels.

00:07:31.080 And look, if we do the right thing, 51% of the time, that's going to be a hell of a good era and we'll be okay.

00:07:38.360 But right now we're not exactly scraping.

00:07:41.660 We're not exactly hitting that target.

00:07:43.480 Republicans, like you mentioned there, Senator Cornyn, Governor Abbott are all trying to make this as painful as possible for Democrats.

00:07:50.320 Now about five days into this quorum break, work here at the Texas Capitol is stalled as they wait for Democrats to return and give Republicans a quorum.

00:07:59.360 Republicans are pulling out all the stops to try and force them home, including arresting them outside of the states.

00:08:07.000 Up until this point, the narrative was if you're outside of Texas, you're outside the jurisdiction of the Texas state troopers that could compel you to the Capitol.

00:08:14.080 Now they are trying to get an Illinois court to to recognize the arrest warrant that is valid for them in Texas.

00:08:20.940 I spoke with Senator Cornyn yesterday as well.

00:08:23.360 He said that the FBI could investigate possible federal felony bribery charges to to escalate this from not just a civil arrest warrant in Texas,

00:08:33.800 but to to real felony charges that could land some of these Democrats in in jail.

00:08:39.440 Now, I spoke to the governor yesterday at at at his residence about how all of this plays into the larger political picture,

00:08:48.040 especially, Willie, the the urgent need for flood relief in Texas.

00:08:52.540 That is a priority of this special session as well.

00:08:55.360 But up until now has really taken the backseat to to the legislative project progress on redistricting.

00:09:01.760 Take a listen to some of our interview.

00:09:03.280 When President Trump says, though, that he is entitled to five more Republican seats,

00:09:10.520 that's been the stated goal of all of this is to create five more red districts.

00:09:14.360 Right.

00:09:15.340 He feels entitled to that.

00:09:17.040 Should that not be a decision for the voters?

00:09:20.240 Well, my job as governor is to be able to ensure that we have congressional lines that align to ensure that voters are going to be able to vote for their candidate of choice.

00:09:32.100 And the way these lines are drawn ensures that voters who chose President Trump are not going to be trapped in a Democrat district,

00:09:41.200 but instead they're going to be able to vote in a congressional district that aligns with their philosophy.

00:09:47.080 I'm sure you you expected redistricting would would be an intense political fight.

00:09:51.980 Why not do flood relief first and get that urgent need out there and then have this political fight?

00:09:59.800 Let's be clear about something.

00:10:01.080 Well, when I issued the special session agenda, which lasts only 30 days, the first items that I put on there were relief for all the victims of the deadly floods that we've had in the state of Texas.

00:10:14.280 There's only one thing that's denying our ability to get legislation passed as these Democrats who have fled the state, turn their backs on their fellow constituents.

00:10:24.160 We appreciate the governor's time there, Willie.

00:10:28.860 I also asked him if he thinks it's appropriate for the FBI to get involved in this state political standoff.

00:10:34.460 He said he's not going to get into the specifics of who may or may not be involved in this from the federal level.

00:10:41.060 But he said that they are using every tool that they can to, quote, hold these Democrats accountable.

00:10:48.180 The Texas House convenes again today and and all eyes are on the House to see if there will be a quorum.

00:10:54.660 But Democrats are showing no signs of letting up.

00:10:56.980 They continue to be defiant today.

00:10:58.940 Some of them are heading to California to stand with Governor Newsom and former Speaker Pelosi as they continue this standoff.

00:11:06.160 Friday, 8 August, the year of Elor 2025, a welcome to the morning edition of the War Room.

00:11:14.060 We are packed today.

00:11:15.360 We're so packed we came into our long open because the cold open was so jammed with news of things that are happening and much, much, much more.

00:11:23.880 I have Dave Bratt and Alex deGrasse to kick things off.

00:11:28.140 Dave Bratt, you're the philosopher.

00:11:29.560 You're the resident philosopher around here.

00:11:31.600 They they they call it's the 200th day of President Trump's administration.

00:11:36.880 I think that the greatest 200 days in modern American politics.

00:11:41.920 And when I say modern, I go back to the beginning of the 20th century.

00:11:45.380 Just absolutely incredible of what this individual has done with his leadership and a great team around him.

00:11:51.780 Give me your perspective.

00:11:53.120 The left is in now they're calling up Lincoln.

00:11:56.440 It's you know, he's an authoritarian.

00:11:59.620 Trump's an authoritarian. 1.00

00:12:00.420 He's a fascist. 1.00

00:12:01.880 The country's going to hell in the handbasket. 1.00

00:12:03.940 Your perspective, please, sir.

00:12:06.560 Yeah, my perspective is he is the greatest president in modern history.

00:12:10.900 And we'll go through the punch list of why that is.

00:12:15.180 But Meacham, you know, always has it exactly backwards when it comes to leadership.

00:12:19.760 He says what matters is not the leaders.

00:12:21.620 It matters what these little peons called followers do.

00:12:25.480 That tells you what he thinks of us, but what he thinks of the American people, the American city.

00:12:31.620 And then he mentions Republican, all this stuff.

00:12:35.560 Meacham, you got all wrong.

00:12:36.780 Trump is a political genius and a great leader precisely because he listens to the heart and soul of the American people.

00:12:43.720 And he loves the American people and he trusts the American people.

00:12:47.940 And so, you know, let's go.

00:12:49.940 That's what makes a great leader.

00:12:51.960 He listens.

00:12:52.540 And when he gets off course and once in a while he gets off course, the American people thump them.

00:12:57.460 The base thumps them a little bit and he is responsive.

00:13:00.220 He goes, what?

00:13:01.120 Sometimes he's getting bad counsel and he corrects it and does an executive order the next day.

00:13:08.160 But let's just go through a punch list briefly, right?

00:13:11.220 What does he come in with?

00:13:12.480 What's he faced with?

00:13:13.900 He's faced with, you know, 37 trillion in debt, an anemic economy, the border invasion, wars in the Middle East brewing,

00:13:24.320 the Ukraine boondoggle where we're blowing massive cash and people are dying like crazy.

00:13:31.120 And then what's he do?

00:13:32.440 He abandons free trade, upends relations with American allies, eviscerates his own government bureaucracy and bombs Iran. 0.52

00:13:39.680 Not bad for starters, but it's more than that.

00:13:42.120 And just contrast that, right, with other executives, other presidents or congressional leaders, speakers, the Senate.

00:13:48.520 They pick one issue per term or for a couple of years to run on.

00:13:54.900 And that's been good enough in the past.

00:13:56.560 And then they don't execute.

00:13:58.060 What's what's striking about Trump is he executes.

00:14:00.620 So he's got the big, beautiful bill, tax cuts done by July 4th, reshaped NATO, Ukraine deal will put an end to that.

00:14:09.040 I think that's looking promising right now.

00:14:11.360 I'm reading the tea leaves too far out.

00:14:13.920 But if Putin ever says, hey, the terms of this deal are looking OK, and, you know, that's going to end with a keyword that's never mentioned by the mainstream media, and that's NATO.

00:14:24.860 There will be no more NATO encroachment, right?

00:14:27.440 The deal we made in 91 and we lied.

00:14:29.960 We've got to quit lying because we're setting up part of these tensions.

00:14:34.360 And Trump knows this.

00:14:36.160 He wants out of this.

00:14:37.240 He mentions death every five seconds.

00:14:40.040 And that's just a glimpse, right?

00:14:41.380 That's just a glimpse of greatness in 200 days.

00:14:43.560 Hey, hang on one second.

00:14:46.620 We're going to take a short commercial break.

00:14:47.840 Alex DeGrasse, Dave Bratt.

00:14:49.800 Deeds, not words.

00:14:52.220 He destroyed two political dynasties in 2016, the Bush and the Clinton, and became the greatest president in modern times.

00:14:59.320 This July, there is a global summit of BRICS nations in Rio de Janeiro, the bloc of emerging superpowers, including China, Russia, India, and Persia, are meeting with the goal of displacing the United States dollar as the global currency.

00:15:15.580 They're calling this the Rio Reset.

00:15:18.360 As BRICS nations push forward with their plans, global demand for U.S. dollars will decrease, bringing down the value of the dollar in your savings.

00:15:26.540 While this transition won't not happen overnight, but trust me, it's going to start in Rio.

00:15:33.440 The Rio Reset in July marks a pivotal moment when BRICS objectives move decisively from a theoretical possibility towards an inevitable reality.

00:17:08.120 We're going to cover that nonstop.

00:17:10.320 I'll be doing the 6 o'clock show.

00:17:12.020 The 5 may be a little truncated.

00:17:14.520 Natalie's going to do that. 1.00

00:17:15.300 She's got a lot to report, particularly on the, I think, some updates on sticking the landing on this situation with seditious conspiracy, the treasonous conspiracy.

00:17:27.760 So this afternoon show is going to be packed, although President Trump's going to be in the Oval, I think, starting at 4.

00:17:31.780 That may get, obviously, quite a big event.

00:17:34.940 We're going to actually have some experts here later in the hour.

00:17:37.500 Also, we're going to talk about transgender later and the bio industry.

00:17:42.400 There's a huge movement to take ads off TV that we'll get into.

00:17:46.200 Alex DeGrasse joins us.

00:17:47.280 Alex, of course, the most important story in the world politically right now is still this redistricting, which is really about a fundamental realignment of modern American politics.

00:17:58.560 And I think the audience knows, since you've been laboring at this for years, that you're one of the leaders of this movement.

00:18:04.040 I want to pull the camera back just for a second, though, because you're one of the rising young leaders in the conservative movement, Republican Party, and particularly MAGA.

00:18:12.860 What's your perspective on President Trump, and particularly this younger generation, the perspective on President Trump on the 200th day, sir?

00:18:20.880 Well, thanks, Steve.

00:18:21.660 Those are really kind words.

00:18:22.600 It's an honor to be hammering on the show and working with the posse on multiple fronts on all these important issues.

00:18:29.000 But, you know, I think it gives a lot of hope, I think, for young conservatives in their 30s, 20s.

00:18:35.680 And now we've got this growing population of, you know, really MAGA conservatives in their teens and in their early 20s in college.

00:18:43.760 And I think it's because the woke – I don't really want to use the word woke, but this just vicious, you know, Marxist, you know, that's just been pushed, pushed, pushed, pushed.

00:18:53.380 You know, President Trump is really the first leader to really stand in the breach, push back on an unprecedented level, and really, I think, change the calculus and outlook on the American culture and how we really had almost lost it, Steve, I would argue.

00:19:09.080 I mean, we were really on the brink.

00:19:10.800 I think if Harris had won, I think, within another four years, they would have really chased out American history and culture.

00:19:17.980 And I think how President Trump has stood in the breach and pushed back, whether it be on education and what we're seeing on these college campuses and schools, I think it's a huge thing.

00:19:27.140 And I think it's really just the beginning I see now he's subpoenaing or they're asking for admission information.

00:19:33.160 Obviously, the show has talked about how much foreign, Chinese, communists – I mean, they're gutting our schools and they're taking up all the slots. 1.00

00:19:41.200 And we really have a crisis in this country where the American dream has been slipping away.

00:19:45.860 We have the housing ownership crisis.

00:19:47.700 It's not something that people are going to fix overnight, but I think President Trump's policies are taking the steps to – you know, it's a long slog, you know, with the Fed and all these multi-front warriors fighting.

00:19:58.360 I mean it gives hope to us younger conservatives that, hey, we have to stay in the fight.

00:20:03.320 It's going to be a long-term effort, but this is just the beginning of sort of culling the curve, I think, of this sort of push towards obviously Marxism in this country.

00:20:14.500 I want to talk about – I want to talk about that because you have in New York City, you do have a young generation of these Marxist jihadists and they've got a political movement.

00:20:25.760 They've got – and people better not deny it because it's going to come rolling through November in New York City.

00:20:31.300 You've got the Working People's Party and the DSA and they have a ground game.

00:20:35.940 I keep telling folks like the posse and the precinct strategy and the Trump movement has a ground game and activists, et cetera, that knock on doors and canvas to do all the unsung work out there.

00:20:47.240 But I would argue that the generation of young men, 17 to 30 or 18 to 30, are the most based generation, I would argue, in American history.

00:20:59.000 Why is – is that because of Trump or is that some cultural thing that's driving – that's helping Trump go forward or is it some combination, sir?

00:21:06.340 I would argue it's a combination.

00:21:09.120 And I agree.

00:21:09.660 I think the Mamdami, I think the sort of – they're kind of ripping the bandit off and now being open about – I think they are in response to us, I would argue, right? 1.00

00:21:18.520 And the achievements that MAGA has done, I think they are the response to – they're sort of now spiraling in that direction where before it was sort of a hidden game, right?

00:21:28.340 I mean they were kind of pushing that type of stuff to an extent quietly, maybe not as much, more corporatists, of course, and now it's sort of out in the open, I think, and they're spiraling.

00:21:37.180 But no, I would agree.

00:21:38.520 I think it's a combination.

00:21:39.760 I think President Trump has inspired a lot of people I know and they've sort of engaged in the political process and I think started from 2016 and it's been a long road for people, I think.

00:21:50.280 You know, geez, that was quite some time ago when it came down the escalator and I know a lot of young men at the time and they sort of started asking questions, you know.

00:21:58.200 The welfare state and about illegal immigration and job prospects and I would say on top of that you have just the external factors and how – when I was in – I mean you're hammered, Steve.

00:22:09.580 I mean just vicious left and a lot of the, you know, far left women more so, right? 1.00

00:22:14.840 I mean they're socially very – you know, they exclude and you're always under attack, under attack, under attack on all fronts on your values and it makes you think, hey, you know, I don't want to say swear words on the show but, you know, kind of F this.

00:22:26.380 You know, we have to fight back and then here comes Trump, right?

00:22:29.100 He's out here holding the banner, sword in one hand and he's out in the front and it gives people a lot of hope that, hey, we can push back, we can get things done, we can achieve things for the country, we can achieve the American dream.

00:22:39.680 Like there's still hope to advance, you know, this republic further because, I mean it really was on the brink.

00:22:46.300 You look at the weaponization.

00:22:47.480 I mean if President Trump can get to the bottom of Russiagate, which us as young conservatives, we dealt with, hey, I had people sit me down, you know, say, hey, you know, Trump's a Russian agent.

00:22:57.780 What are you doing?

00:22:58.200 I mean just crazy people I've like grown up with that won't even talk to me.

00:23:01.120 You know, so the societal pressures I think are breaking because they can't answer to the facts that Trump is putting forward on, you know, just the weaponization, just the corruption, the FBI and everything that had gone on.

00:23:14.820 And now it's all getting exposed.

00:23:16.500 And that's why obviously they're panicking out of control.

00:23:18.560 But the Mamdami stuff, the jihadist stuff, that is the new focal point, and that will be the fight for us to handle the next generation. 1.00

00:23:26.340 And it's going to be a major throwdown.

00:23:27.760 This is just the beginning of that culmination, I would argue.

00:23:31.020 And it's not just in New York City.

00:23:32.500 It's all over the country actually.

00:23:34.580 And I'll find some articles and send you.

00:23:36.440 They're picking off these mayor races.

00:23:38.260 You look at Minnesota now. 0.98

00:23:39.440 They've got that crazy guy. 0.87

00:23:40.940 And it's bigger than I think people realize.

00:23:43.880 I think the posse understands when I did that deep dive show I think a month ago or so, I still have people talking to me about that.

00:23:51.080 So people are very locked in on that.

00:23:53.000 No, it's the next generation.

00:23:55.400 That's what I'm saying on our side, the most base generation in history of these young men.

00:23:59.960 You're going to have a fight for the direction of this country.

00:24:03.280 This fight is not going to be over with President Trump's even his next term.

00:24:06.720 Hang on for one second.

00:24:07.840 I'm going to get to redistricting the big picture and how important this is, why it's driving the global narrative right now.

00:24:13.060 But I want to get in Brian Harrison.

00:24:14.800 I think we've got him by phone.

00:24:16.680 Brian, going across Texas.

00:24:18.500 Brian, can you give us an update?

00:24:20.360 Are we getting any action?

00:24:21.520 The action items?

00:24:22.260 Have we taken parking spots?

00:24:23.560 Have we taken away at seniority?

00:24:24.820 We hear a lot of rhetoric, but we're not seeing actions.

00:24:30.100 Where do we stand on this Friday morning?

00:24:32.640 Yeah, so I'm driving to the Capitol.

00:24:34.660 Sorry, I couldn't be on video.

00:24:35.600 I'm driving to the Capitol in Austin, Texas, for what will likely be, by the official count, day five of the quorum break, although, as the posse knows, because the posse is more educated than just about any other media consumer out there, the real quorum break started last Wednesday when our rhino speaker released the Democrats to go huddle up with Hakeem Jeffries in the Capitol here in the state of Texas.

00:24:59.420 So, on day five, my checklist for this morning, just to get everybody updated on the statistics, the number of seats that have been vacated, still zero.

00:25:09.060 Charges filed against these Democrats, zero.

00:25:11.520 Arrests, zero.

00:25:12.940 Chairmanships revoked, zero.

00:25:14.820 Committee assignments stripped, zero.

00:25:16.840 Budgets cut, zero.

00:25:18.760 Parking spots removed, zero.

00:25:20.760 Seniority stripped, zero.

00:25:22.380 Offices defunded, zero.

00:25:23.660 However, our speaker did put out another strongly worded memo late yesterday, and in this strongly worded memo, he told these Democrats he's done messing around.

00:25:35.380 It's time to get tough.

00:25:37.560 And to you Democrats, this is what the speaker said.

00:25:40.540 He said, we and you get back to Texas.

00:25:44.560 We will pay you in full, but you're going to have to come to my office to pick up the check.

00:25:50.700 We're not going to direct deposit.

00:25:52.000 So, we'll pay you in full, but you've got to come to my office to get the check whenever you return.

00:25:58.100 So, yeah, that is the extent of the action.

00:26:02.700 But let me tell you something.

00:26:03.640 Let me give you a little bit of glimmer of hope, guys.

00:26:05.700 The pressure is working.

00:26:07.800 We're seeing online from the governor, lieutenant governor speaker, they are hearing from the posse, and, oh, boy, they don't like it.

00:26:15.780 But it's making a difference, at least in their rhetoric.

00:26:18.420 And just late last night, Steve, you and I and the posse have been talking for days about the Harrison proposal, which is my hardball plan to, for every week the Democrats are gone, add one more Republican seat.

00:26:29.160 Well, guess who went on TV and acted like they came up with that idea yesterday?

00:26:33.580 None other than the governor of the state of Texas is now, at least with words, sort of endorsing the Harrison proposal, although he won't call it that.

00:26:43.120 So, I've got to say that the posse is making a difference in terms of these guys are feeling the heat.

00:26:48.800 So, their rhetoric is getting stronger, but unfortunately, as we're into officially day five, really day nine or ten, it is nothing more than empty words, hot air, and rhetoric, and Texans deserve better.

00:27:02.440 We need action.

00:27:03.400 We need results.

00:27:04.220 These Democrats need to feel the pain.

00:27:08.160 Is this going to be a two-minute session today, or are you really going to try to have a session since you don't have a quorum?

00:27:13.860 I mean, are the Republicans at least going to conference and talk about this?

00:27:18.800 Well, here's the sad reality.

00:27:20.700 For the last – I mean, our rhino speaker – keep in mind our rhino speaker that was elected by these very Democrats that fled the state, okay, he gave the Democrats basically a three-day reprieve.

00:27:32.520 He didn't even try to gavel us in yesterday or the day before.

00:27:36.880 The last time we even made an attempt was Tuesday.

00:27:39.640 So, I mean, that's like the lowest hanging fruit.

00:27:42.440 Why the hell are we not forcing a roll call every day?

00:27:46.620 I mean, that's just not been happening for two days.

00:27:48.680 So, today will be our first chance since Tuesday to even, in theory, require people to show up and register that they're here.

00:27:56.260 So, most likely – again, anything's possible, okay?

00:27:58.880 Anything's possible.

00:28:00.160 But most likely, we will show up, we will not have a quorum, and then we will adjourn.

00:28:05.900 But I'm unaware of any serious strategy sessions happening anywhere from the elected leadership in Texas.

00:28:12.060 Brian, Brian, Brian, hang on one second.

00:28:15.040 We're just going to take a short commercial break.

00:28:16.660 Brian Harrison, Alex DeGross, Dave Bratz, my wingman for the entire show.

00:28:21.600 Short commercial break.

00:28:22.500 Back in a moment.

00:28:23.140 What if he had the brightest mind in the war room delivering critical financial research every month?

00:28:33.420 Steve Bannon here.

00:28:34.500 War Room listeners know Jim Rickards.

00:28:36.160 I love this guy.

00:28:37.600 He's our wise man, a former CIA, Pentagon, and White House advisor with an unmatched grasp of geopolitics and capital markets.

00:28:44.720 Jim predicted Trump's Electoral College victory exactly 312 to 226, down to the actual number itself.

00:28:54.600 Now he's issuing a dire warning about April 11th, a moment that could define Trump's presidency and your financial future.

00:29:02.200 His latest book, Money GPT, exposes how AI is setting the stage for financial chaos, bank runs at lightning speeds, algorithm-driven crashes, and even threats to national security.

00:29:13.700 Right now, War Room members get a free copy of Money GPT when they sign up for Strategic Intelligence.

00:29:20.460 This is Jim's flagship financial newsletter, Strategic Intelligence.

00:29:25.260 I read it.

00:29:26.380 You should read it.

00:29:27.440 Time is running out.

00:29:28.300 Go to RickardsWarRoom.com.

00:29:30.140 That's all one word, Rickards War Room, Rickards with an S.

00:29:40.060 Here's your host, Stephen K. Vann.

00:29:43.700 Okay, I've got Brad DeGrasse.

00:29:47.160 Brian Harrison joins us by phone.

00:29:49.520 By the way, Gold's been on a run, an incredible run, but the last couple days pop.

00:29:54.300 I'll discuss that more later.

00:29:57.700 And Philip Patrick cannot join us.

00:30:00.780 He's out on doing some personal stuff, as most people do in August.

00:30:06.320 But he's going to be with us on Monday for a complete breakdown.

00:30:09.000 In the interim, go to BirchGold.com slash Bannon.

00:30:12.360 The end of the dollar empire.

00:30:14.640 It's not the price of gold, although the price of gold today had a pop.

00:30:19.480 It's the process of how do you get to the price and how do you get to the value of gold.

00:30:23.120 Check it out today.

00:30:23.920 BirchGold.com.

00:30:25.580 Promo code Bannon.

00:30:26.640 End of the dollar empire.

00:30:27.740 It's a good homework assignment for you all over the weekend in a beautiful month of August.

00:30:33.020 Brian Harrison, so then, therefore, can we put up the numbers, the numbers we have for Texas?

00:30:39.460 And I get feedback from the audience all the time and from the engine room.

00:30:44.440 People are really feeling this.

00:30:45.860 They feel like they're driving something that's important throughout the whole country.

00:30:49.520 But, as always, as goes Texas, so goes America.

00:30:55.760 Give us some guidance here of what we need to do, because I'm kind of shocked, particularly to see Abbott trying to draft off your idea and these guys.

00:31:02.980 You know, everybody there is talking big talk, but still there's no action when these actions are pretty definable.

00:31:09.440 You know, what is your recommended next step for the War Room Posse to make sure that we can continue to drive this narrative, sir?

00:31:17.160 Well, a couple things on that.

00:31:18.520 Number one, don't be discouraged.

00:31:20.020 You are making a difference.

00:31:21.340 If it were not for the War Room Posse, okay, being out ahead of this, in front, it was the War Room Posse before this became the biggest story, not just in America, but one of the biggest stories on the planet right now.

00:31:35.200 You guys were ahead of the curve, and if it weren't for the early pressure from the Posse, I can guarantee you the liberal Austin Uniparty establishment would have 100% been able to get away with their usual, you know,

00:31:47.380 song and dance games and theater where they'd be like, okay, President Trump, okay, Texas Republicans, we'll add redistricting to the agenda, and, you know, we'll try, and oh, it didn't work out, but you know what?

00:31:58.520 We try, because that's their usual stunt.

00:32:01.780 You know, look like you're doing something while you're doing nothing and then blame the Democrats.

00:32:05.600 So I assure you the Posse is making a difference.

00:32:09.280 Number two, full spectrum.

00:32:11.520 Keep the pressure up.

00:32:13.140 The governor of Texas, I promise you, would never be out there, you know, as you say, drafting off my idea, you know, copy and pasting the Harrison proposal to add more Republican seats if we weren't out there demanding it.

00:32:26.280 If the Posse wasn't calling his office and saying, hey, we know you can do this, why aren't you doing it?

00:32:30.820 And number three, full spectrum.

00:32:32.520 The governor's got the tools.

00:32:33.880 He needs to keep hearing it.

00:32:34.840 Here's something I just tweeted, okay?

00:32:36.280 I haven't done much of this.

00:32:37.780 Here's a big new one for the Posse.

00:32:39.280 Just a little more color when you're making your phone calls, the lieutenant governor, the Texas Senate.

00:32:45.160 All the eyes have been in the Texas House with our rhino speaker who released the Democrats. 0.98

00:32:50.280 But why, here's the story no one's talking about.

00:32:53.780 Why the hell has the Texas Senate, which has not had a quorum break, not passed the redistricting maps?

00:33:02.580 Okay, I mean, there's no excuse for this not to have already sailed through the Texas Senate.

00:33:06.700 I mean, I can tell you they've had enough time over the last three weeks to pass their ridiculous ban on hemp, you know, the stuff that President Trump legalized six years ago.

00:33:15.100 So they've been able to pass bills over there, but they have not passed the redistricting map.

00:33:19.480 So this is a full spectrum of salt that the Posse needs to keep up on the weak establishment leadership of the state of Texas that reminds them, we know you could have stopped it.

00:33:30.160 If you didn't, we know you have the power to stop it at any time.

00:33:35.860 Get it done now.

00:33:36.720 And just for folks who are keeping score at home, the governor's threat to vacate Democrats that fled the state, that deadline was 3 p.m. on Monday.

00:33:48.280 So at 3 p.m. today, it will be the five-day anniversary of the empty threat to vacate House Democrats to those who celebrate.

00:33:57.040 So keep it up.

00:33:58.500 We need action because I'm becoming more convinced.

00:34:02.160 I've been down here four years since I finished working for President Trump in his first term.

00:34:06.200 I'm becoming convinced that there are no creatures on earth more feckless than Texas elected Republicans.

00:34:11.960 And it's past time we change that.

00:34:13.700 Texas must lead.

00:34:15.520 As goes Texas, so goes the nation.

00:34:17.620 As goes America, so goes the world. 0.53

00:34:20.400 Texas is the line in the sand for the future of our country.

00:34:24.080 The Posse is playing a role.

00:34:25.700 They're making a difference.

00:34:27.160 Keep the pressure up.

00:34:31.300 Brian Harrison, where do we go?

00:34:33.020 Where do people go to get your social media, your particular Twitter feed, sir?

00:34:37.580 Yeah, please go to the Twitter feed on X because I can tell you guys,

00:34:40.880 it is the most hated Twitter feed in the entire city of Austin, maybe the state of Texas for the Rhinos and the liberal media.

00:34:50.600 Brian E. Harrison on X.

00:34:53.140 Brian E. Harrison.

00:34:54.720 Brian E. Harrison.

00:34:55.900 We post 10, 20, 30, 50 times live updates.

00:34:58.660 But, Steve, you and the Posse, man, thank you for spreading the word across the country.

00:35:03.620 Y'all been ahead of this the whole time.

00:35:05.000 We've got to keep it up.

00:35:07.340 You're a warrior.

00:35:08.340 Thank you, sir.

00:35:08.920 Appreciate the update.

00:35:11.880 If, Grace, I think Mo's traveling today back from Poland with posts on that crowd.

00:35:17.540 Grace, if you can please take those numbers.

00:35:20.020 Let's get them up on Getter. 0.83

00:35:21.040 Let's get them up on all the different sites right there.

00:35:23.480 And let's particularly this morning, let's put a blast into Lieutenant Governor Patrick and say, where is the Senate?

00:35:30.140 Why has the Senate not passed this already?

00:35:32.040 You got a quorum.

00:35:32.980 So you got the numbers right there.

00:35:34.720 Let them have it.

00:35:35.400 Both barrels.

00:35:38.560 Alex de Grasse.

00:35:39.460 I don't have time.

00:35:40.680 We're so packed today.

00:35:41.720 I don't have time because I had a cold open for you.

00:35:43.900 I've got Karl Rove.

00:35:45.300 I get the editor board.

00:35:46.360 You know, Paul G. Joe and the editorial board of the Wall Street Journal.

00:35:49.920 I've got Mitch Daniels.

00:35:52.040 And, you know, I got all, you know, the Bush highlight reel.

00:35:54.840 Mitch Daniels in Indiana.

00:35:56.060 Remember, little Mitch was going to be president of the United States.

00:35:58.160 That didn't work out too well.

00:35:59.240 You got Karl Rove.

00:36:01.720 I get everybody lecturing Alex de Grasse, all these Republicans on national television about how the plan that you and a handful of others have concocted to basically change modern American politics and diffuse power back to where the founders wanted it.

00:36:20.860 And now President Trump coming in and dropping the big hammer and say, you know what?

00:36:24.380 I'm seeing this redistricting.

00:36:25.300 I like it.

00:36:25.760 But I want to I want to mid mid decade census to get all the illegal aliens out of here. 1.00

00:36:31.780 What's your response then?

00:36:32.900 What's your response to Karl Rove and Paul G. Joe, the Wall Street Journal editor, saying, oh, no, this is terrible.

00:36:38.040 You shouldn't do this.

00:36:38.980 This is going to be awful.

00:36:40.100 The Democrats are going to thing.

00:36:41.140 And it's it's un-American, Alex de Grasse.

00:36:43.440 So I would just say we really have one chance in front of us to save the country.

00:36:49.300 And, you know, many of these people you mentioned, they just they haven't been with us along the way for the fight, Steve.

00:36:54.580 So I would recommend people not pay attention to what they have to say, of course.

00:36:59.000 Of course, they're out there making a lot of noise.

00:37:01.080 But, you know, where were any of these people during the weaponization, this, that?

00:37:05.800 And they were obviously nowhere to be found because I believe many of them were probably supporting it.

00:37:10.000 Because I think what many Republicans in the establishment fear is, is the sort of magification of the party down the road.

00:37:19.760 Right. It's not that this will be, you know, past President Trump.

00:37:23.280 Right. Which, of course, is what the war room posse is fighting for.

00:37:26.780 And if we get the things that we spoke about right on the redistricting, on the census, on Supreme Court cases, you will see certainly the national populace and sort of magification of the Republican Party will be cemented, Steve.

00:37:42.040 It will be it will be the dominant force, not just within the Republican Party and the conservative movement, but but for the country in the foreseeable future.

00:37:51.280 And there's literally no spin about that. And so a lot of people's power and money will be upset by this.

00:37:58.340 And so as I've spoken to people since then, people are like, there's no way this can happen because there's so much at stake for so many people, Steve, that I think this will be, as I said, the fight of our lifetime politically.

00:38:10.580 Because if we can achieve this, which nothing is guaranteed, of course, on the Supreme Court, on the census, there's going to be all types of legal burdens and challenges throughout this process.

00:38:21.680 But if we can even get half of what we're talking about, it still would protect our republic to continue to make the positive MAGA changes over the next 10 years.

00:38:32.040 But if if if our if our target and our target remains to get it all in my thing, it's all or not, we've got to get it all.

00:38:38.460 And here's why you've got a convergence of these forces that happen every now and again.

00:38:42.940 You've got the voting rights situation in Louisiana, which I think is in people waited for a long time to bring these cases.

00:38:48.940 It's a quite brilliant case. You've got the voting rights situation.

00:38:52.320 You have the demographic shifts in the country. You got President Trump asking for a mid decade and he's going to get it.

00:38:58.180 He ain't asking for it, by the way. He's telling Commerce we're going to do this.

00:39:00.780 OK, you've got then you've got these states who've had these demographic changes and coming into the states and then where people are living in the states.

00:39:10.120 Jake Sherman, who's about as savvy as anybody on Capitol Hill, very conventional savvy today's punch bowl.

00:39:17.880 And if Grace can cut this part out, and I think Jake would would appreciate because it'll get it'll get him more subscribers.

00:39:24.160 He goes through the whole thing. He's a little late to the party on this, but he walks through the whole thing, including Florida, Indiana.

00:39:30.780 Where else of this is going? DeSantis is on board here because DeSantis wants to run for the Sanchez wants to run for president in 2028.

00:39:39.120 I understand he's not MAGA's favorite because of what happened, but he understands just like Abbott.

00:39:44.880 If you want to have a hand in this, if you want to have even an entry stake into that, you've got to get on this train right now.

00:39:51.880 If you're not in this fight, then that'll be remembered forever because this is the fight.

00:39:56.640 This is a realignment right now that will be will echo.

00:40:00.620 They talk about the fiery trial of what Lincoln said at the beginning.

00:40:03.660 This will echo down through the ages right now because you will not reverse this for decades and decades and decades.

00:40:10.340 Alex DeGrasse.

00:40:10.880 Yeah, that's right. I mean, this this is it.

00:40:15.260 I mean, this really is. I mean, the Stephen Miller went on TV, I think, about the same time we were talking about this on War Room.

00:40:21.540 And he said on Fox, just the census is 20, 30 seats based off his numbers of illegal immigrants in the cities and whatnot that are that are counted in the census, which then apportions the congressional districts.

00:40:35.640 And so, I mean, this really is I mean, this is the ballgame, Steve, when you look at how we're able to put together, because I don't think anyone's going to say that, hey, we're going to President Trump has done so much in such a short time.

00:40:46.760 It's unbelievable. But I think the bigger problems facing the country on affordability, on housing and all that stuff is going to take a very sustained process.

00:40:58.340 And I think we need more time that we can to really change and alter the course of this country.

00:41:04.300 And I think we will do it, of course. And we have to stand firm because, yeah, Punchbowl is great.

00:41:09.100 And they are the most plugged in reporters in the Hill, of course. And they've got that rundown that shows, hey, we win in this fight.

00:41:17.460 And so that is why Democrats are spiraling. And that is why RINOs are out there freaking out.

00:41:24.040 Jake, Jake, Jake Sherman is not MAGA. And he said, hey, I'll be blunt.

00:41:28.380 They don't have a lot of defenses here. And these guys have got weapons and they're coming.

00:41:32.200 I mean, it's an amazing piece. That's why I want people to read it.

00:41:34.820 But the target is about 40 to 42 seats, right? This is a 40 seat thing.

00:41:40.280 So this is and Texas is the lead. This is why we got to deliver Texas.

00:41:44.280 When do you think it's going to heat up in Florida?

00:41:46.800 I understand they're talking about a map and people are going to love the map in Florida even more because it's going to take out.

00:41:51.620 It's going to take out some of the most obnoxious people in the house. 0.99

00:41:55.540 I know that's random, but when do you think it's going to heat up in Florida?

00:41:59.020 Well, I think I think everything is looking at Texas, like Brian saying, I think it's a little bit of a logjam now.

00:42:05.340 So I think when that gets pushed through, I think things will start shifting.

00:42:09.320 I would assume DeSantis wouldn't wait. I'm not. I'm going to check on that.

00:42:13.400 I'm assuming sooner than later. But I think everyone's kind of waiting on Texas because once that happens, that I think you'll see a chain reaction, obviously on both sides.

00:42:20.140 But the reality is that we have more firepower on this fight and, you know, they'll draw some seats and that will be tougher for some people, of course, but we will get more.

00:42:30.480 And so that's that's why they're freaking out. That's the issue.

00:42:34.520 I want I want everybody to read this. I want everybody to read Jake Sherman's dispassionate analysis of this because it's quite folks.

00:42:41.620 It'll give you if you think you're jacked up now, you'll really get jacked up when you see the establishment, what they're saying about this.

00:42:46.920 DeGrasse, social media, people want to follow you because every moment of every day now we're engaged in this combat on on on on reshaping the infrastructure, the structure of modern American politics by a representation.

00:43:03.760 Where do people go, sir? Thanks, Steve. I'm at DeGrasse 81 on X at DeGrasse on Getter and Truth.

00:43:10.940 Thank you, Steve. We got to keep pushing on Texas. The rest will start coming online.

00:43:15.120 But good job, Brian and everyone. But let's just keep pressure on that. Work the phones.

00:43:21.720 Thank you, brother. Appreciate you. It's all up to the war and posse. 0.93

00:43:25.660 But look, when we get in fights where it's about the war and posse's muscle, I'll take that every day of the week.

00:43:30.300 It's positioning the troops where they can have the best and most effective impact.

00:43:35.760 Short break. Brat next. 0.99

00:44:48.840 Here's your host, Stephen K. Bannon.

00:44:51.320 I want to reiterate the importance of this audience.

00:45:00.960 I mean, you were there.

00:45:01.960 You've been there since the beginning.

00:45:03.260 Many of you have.

00:45:04.800 From war room impeachment, war room in pandemic, and the election, the election fraud, all of it.

00:45:08.920 And President Trump being exiled to Mar-a-Lago in January of 2021.

00:45:14.460 Many of you veterans are combat-hardened.

00:45:19.320 But every fight here, every day is for the future, right?

00:45:22.540 For the present and for the future.

00:45:24.020 That's why we, in thinking through with Alex DeGrasse and other people, and meeting Brian Harrison, knowing Brian coming on the show a couple times before, but understanding the importance of this and meeting with Texas Grassroots and really walking through the fact that this is everything.

00:45:43.520 This is grass, because this is Grassroots muscle versus the establishment.

00:45:46.580 Maybe I'll do it at 6, or maybe I'll do it tomorrow.

00:45:49.820 I'll show you the resistance.

00:45:51.180 Call Rove.

00:45:52.520 Brad, I'll bring you in, because you had to deal with this when you were in the House and when you ran, because you were ultra-conservative at the time, and you're MAGA now.

00:46:01.660 You were Tea Party.

00:46:02.520 That's what got you in.

00:46:03.760 And you saw this up there.

00:46:04.760 But when you have Karl Rove on Fox, Mitch Daniels meeting with the vice president of his team, right, Mitch Daniels, and the editorial page of the Wall Street Journal, Paul G. Joe, that's it.

00:46:17.200 I mean, that's the Republican Chamber of Commerce elitist business community mentality.

00:46:23.300 And they hate this.

00:46:25.160 One of the reasons they hate this is they want Trump impeached.

00:46:30.440 They got their tax cuts.

00:46:32.240 They got their goodies.

00:46:33.820 They're all around there.

00:46:34.560 They got it. 0.70

00:46:35.700 They would love Trump to get crushed in the second part of this and to kill the MAGA movement. 0.93

00:46:41.880 They hate it. 0.77

00:46:43.440 Mitch Daniels and Karl Rove hate you, this audience.

00:46:46.720 They hate you more than they disagree with the Democrats.

00:46:50.740 Look down in Texas.

00:46:52.760 Look in Texas.

00:46:54.700 Folks, if you didn't go fix bayonets on this, nothing would have happened.

00:46:59.700 The grassroots in Texas have risen up.

00:47:02.340 And they've risen up in their righteous indignation and say, no way, we're getting this done.

00:47:07.520 And we don't care who's going to stand on our way here, particularly a bunch of do-nothing people like Abbott.

00:47:15.240 Right?

00:47:15.520 And now Abbott's sitting there taking the Harrison plan.

00:47:17.480 Yeah, I think for every week they're out there, I put another dude, don't worry about the other ones. 0.93

00:47:21.060 Get the five we got on the table.

00:47:23.480 Dave Bratt, thoughts, observations, sir.

00:47:25.880 Yeah, well, you've had it right.

00:47:29.920 I mean, the deep state is the key, right?

00:47:32.340 The deep state has to be taken down.

00:47:35.000 In the opening, you had reference to Charlottesville again.

00:47:39.640 But the Ukraine war and ending the war, Trump can do huge damage to that crowd if he shuts down.

00:47:46.500 You know, all of these things are just funding sources for the Democrat Party, Act Blue and all these kind of things.

00:47:52.420 When I ran, the Dems were getting money just falling out of the heavens.

00:47:56.320 I mean, just constantly.

00:47:57.560 I was like, how does this happen?

00:47:59.460 And then Charlottesville comes.

00:48:00.920 You know, officers died at Charlottesville.

00:48:04.360 And they're still using that meme.

00:48:06.140 That is grotesque morally to be using that.

00:48:09.680 That's been debunked thoroughly, but you heard it just this morning from the top shelf news folks.

00:48:15.780 The Washington Post, of course, nuked me for plagiarism.

00:48:19.460 They were in all the big tech just a couple years ago.

00:48:24.480 We're censoring all of us.

00:48:26.440 And now we're supposed to believe they're our buddies.

00:48:29.940 And so you've had it right on the deep state and then on the ending the wars, which, of course, is a part of that.

00:48:36.460 But then the Republican Party, I got no money, right?

00:48:39.780 So Virginia politics, just the same as Texas.

00:48:44.060 Maybe not quite as bad, but the Speaker of the House of Virginia, I think, I've been told, had the authority in my redistricting case.

00:48:53.700 That didn't have to happen.

00:48:55.260 But somehow he didn't put in the lines and he let some independent party.

00:48:59.780 And that's the unit party.

00:49:01.300 And then my leadership, Paul Ryan, sent me no money.

00:49:04.580 No money.

00:49:06.200 So that's the way the car rose.

00:49:08.020 Now, they're very sophisticated.

00:49:10.360 And, you know, you said Jake Sherman is, you know, savvy.

00:49:13.820 He is savvy.

00:49:15.060 But they just nick you with a thousand million wounds, right?

00:49:18.540 They just today, look at Politico today.

00:49:21.380 They're getting in the weeds on the size of our tax cuts.

00:49:24.660 They never get in the weeds on Democrat forgeries.

00:49:27.580 The Democrats are involved in so many obscenities, you know, $30 million to the big guy, right?

00:49:34.420 And not a word, no interest.

00:49:37.320 The Hunter Biden laptop, that piece, that's a huge receipt that's never covered.

00:49:43.220 They never mention Tulsi's thousands of documents she's turned over as evidence.

00:49:47.420 They just say she's put forward a conspiracy.

00:49:50.080 Well, now Bondi's referenced that to a grand jury.

00:49:52.740 That is all huge news.

00:49:55.340 So the deep state, they're getting nervous.

00:49:57.620 The Republicans are part of it.

00:49:59.000 They make deals, right?

00:50:00.120 It's very interesting how governors are chosen.

00:50:02.780 And you can almost see there's a tradeoff from year to year.

00:50:05.460 We'll put a Republican in as long as they don't do anything.

00:50:08.860 And then the Democrats come in for a term or two.

00:50:11.020 And then the Republicans get the crumbs.

00:50:13.320 But we never move the football until Trump.

00:50:15.520 Now we're finally moving the football down the field full speed.

00:50:18.680 Because he has the vision, and he's a master CEO negotiator, right?

00:50:24.600 I was with some business friends the other day up in Michigan.

00:50:28.080 And the business guys were all just saying, I've never seen a negotiator like this.

00:50:30.900 I've never seen a dealmaker like this.

00:50:32.760 And they're all just business guys.

00:50:34.140 And they just, I never thought of it that way.

00:50:36.560 But they're just going, I've never seen anybody make deals.

00:50:39.760 And now with India, I just want to bring, that's in the news right now.

00:50:43.660 And, you know, it's a little curious.

00:50:44.860 I looked it up this morning, India's only spending 1.9% of GDP on defense.

00:50:50.700 That's inexcusable.

00:50:52.840 India's successful.

00:50:53.900 They're huge.

00:50:54.840 We're doing more on the South China Sea, et cetera, than they are.

00:50:59.020 They need to step up to the plate and take on their share of global responsibilities,

00:51:06.160 not to mention just the terms of the tariff deal.

00:51:09.060 And I think that's why Trump's ticked off.

00:51:11.020 It's like, why are we doing everything?

00:51:12.920 They need to take up their share of global financing, et cetera.

00:51:17.240 And that's why I think Trump is ticked off.

00:51:20.300 And if he didn't have his leadership, and here's the thing.

00:51:23.640 Now that we've proven this redistricting fight is not just winnable, but must be won.

00:51:29.240 The president's come in with something so powerful.

00:51:31.900 To order the Commerce Department.

00:51:33.760 This is not like the first term.

00:51:35.820 He's playing, you know, these guys, he's telling the Commerce Department, hey, this is what you're going to do.

00:51:40.500 And Stephen Miller is absolutely correct.

00:51:42.180 It's 20, 30 additional seats than what we're getting.

00:51:45.260 Because you're going to take all those illegal aliens out of there, which ought to be. 1.00

00:51:47.540 It's ridiculous. 0.97

00:51:48.140 Dave, Brad, hang on. 0.98

00:51:48.900 You're riding shotgun here this morning.

00:51:52.200 Second hour, we're going to talk about this Armenia situation.

00:51:56.100 This peace deal.

00:51:57.140 Also, this corridor.

00:51:58.240 What it all means.

00:51:59.000 Is it America first? 0.95

00:52:00.080 John Lott's going to join us.

00:52:02.040 What in the hell is going on in Washington, D.C.?

00:52:04.120 Looks like President Trump may federalize the police enforcement there because the city's out of control with crime.
