Bannon's War Room - Episode 4694： Stopping The Steal In 2026; Texas Throws Down On Dems Who Fled Texas

00:00:00.000 this is the primal scream of a dying regime pray for our enemies because we're going to

00:00:10.080 medieval on these people here's not got a free shot all these networks lying about the people

00:00:16.680 the people have had a belly full of it i know you don't like hearing that i know you try to do

00:00:20.840 everything in the world to stop that but you're not going to stop it it's going to happen and

00:00:24.180 where do people like that go to share the big line mega media i wish in my soul i wish that any of

00:00:32.020 these people had a conscience ask yourself what is my task and what is my purpose if that answer

00:00:39.120 is to save my country this country will be saved war room here's your host stephen k band

00:00:47.600 you're in the war room it's friday august 8th in the year of our lord 2025 it's natalie winters

00:00:59.140 hosting today's 5 p.m edition of war room president trump just wrapped up speaking so you got a full

00:01:06.380 hour and then of course the second hour too of programming here in the war room we're gonna

00:01:10.820 have mike benz julie kelly and brian harrison to give us the latest updates on frankly everything

00:01:16.540 that's going on but as we hit the 200 day mark of president trump's i guess second administration

00:01:23.140 maybe third as steve has been hammering um i want to play a clip you guys know here in the war room

00:01:28.620 we have been hammering since i think not just day one of president trump's second term but really from

00:01:34.220 the election time and frankly even the first day of his first term because all of the deep state

00:01:39.260 agitators who have tried to suppress and nullify and neuter what is the trump movement which became the

00:01:44.640 trump presidency which became the second trump presidency we've always said that they've used

00:01:49.040 sort of these color revolution tactics using these playbooks that they used abroad in countries like

00:01:53.640 hungary and poland to really buttress or i think strengthen the idea of civil society and mass protest

00:02:01.300 we would say paid protest they would say it's spontaneous and organic we reject that premise

00:02:05.840 but how they've used that to i think perpetrate probably the largest uh lie the actual big lie

00:02:11.540 misinformation against the american people which is that president trump is an autocrat and that our

00:02:16.180 movement is part of an autocracy or they call it democratic backsliding but all of that to

00:02:21.820 essentially make it the lock that picks the key so they can unfold right these foreign playbooks that

00:02:27.800 they've used to sort of subvert foreign leaders that they didn't like because i think as you guys are

00:02:32.320 probably aware president trump is probably a lot more disliked than these people who didn't like

00:02:37.120 whether it was stuff that was going on in latin america eastern europe take your pick you know

00:02:42.600 normizen is someone that we've always singled out and and truly i think a shocking interview he sat down

00:02:48.100 with pbs about two weeks ago and he essentially admitted to everything that we have accused him of

00:02:53.940 i would put this in the category of things that here in the war room we don't want to be vindicated on

00:02:59.140 um but it's important that you you see these people talk about the coup the treasonous coup i will use

00:03:05.840 that word yes meaning matters uh in their own words i'm gonna play the clip i don't know if we'll go

00:03:10.860 through it in full it's fairly long but i might jump in because we're gonna have mike bends join us to

00:03:15.880 sort of break down and take i would say the victory lap that we never wanted to have to take because

00:03:20.180 like i said i don't ever want to be right about the uh the ulterior and nefarious ambitions of deep

00:03:25.760 staters like normizen but denver let's roll the clip my organization the state democracy defenders

00:03:31.540 fund we were born out of the success in stopping the attempted coup of 2020 and i kind of got the

00:03:42.540 people who i admired the most i worked uh representing multiple parties fighting in court but also in the

00:03:51.540 court of public opinion in that unsuccessful effort uh to uh reverse the legitimate outcome of the

00:03:59.440 2020 election i got the best people together who i thought uh were the toughest the smartest and who

00:04:06.660 won a lot in 2020 and we added in building our organization we started this immediately after

00:04:14.240 this work started on january 7th this new work 2021 right after the coup failed when the uh the violent

00:04:25.200 insurrection that trump inspired on january 6th was defeated um we i started combining the most successful

00:04:34.560 coup fighters that i came across in my work in 2020 with experts who had helped study or defeat

00:04:44.220 autocracy internationally so we went to places over the intervening years like hungary and turkey

00:04:54.620 where the effort to oust an autocrat failed why did it fail what did they fail to do but we also looked at

00:05:01.960 places like poland uh brazil czech republic uh the country where i served as ambassador where there

00:05:09.060 were successful ousters in recent years of autocratic regimes and we came together over that four-year

00:05:16.460 period with a plan to defeat autocracy it's not just litigation litigation is very important in our

00:05:26.880 peaceful lawful vigorous effort think of litigation the courts as the first guardrail donald trump has

00:05:35.820 been loudly banging into that guardrail in this over 150 cases where we and others have had so many wins because

00:05:45.280 we've been winning that guardrail is holding but that loud banging is waking up to other barriers that lie to other

00:05:56.720 guardrails that lie on the other side of litigation the next one is political leadership where we've seen in the united

00:06:05.480 states that elected officials mostly at the united states that elected officials mostly at the state

00:06:08.260 levels like the state ags they've been going to court but they've been talking holding town halls

00:06:14.520 speaking to the american people now congress is starting to get in the act so that's a second layer of

00:06:21.060 protection the third and maybe the most important and this is the difference this is why autocracy

00:06:27.220 was defeated in poland and why it is still there down the block in hungary the people when you awaken the

00:06:38.660 american people which that loud banging in the first guardrail has done do you know that there's twice as many 1.00

00:06:47.360 protests in 2025 as there were in 2021 2021 was covered as the era of big protests against the

00:06:57.200 donald trump there's actually been more in 2025 yeah twice as many protests i think you left out the

00:07:04.660 part where twice as many paid protests though we know with norm eisen he's always very particular with

00:07:10.800 his word choice but pretty damning interview i suggest that you guys go and watch the whole

00:07:16.520 uh the whole i think it's about an hour and a half um but just remember he's essentially admitting to i

00:07:21.440 would argue a coup he talks about the four years of joe biden the time before and certainly right now the

00:07:26.660 time after um that's what he gets into and remember it was january 6th of 2025 for the brookings

00:07:32.800 institution under his leadership co-authored the third edition of the democracy playbook where they

00:07:38.800 essentially transposed translated all of these regime change tactics to fit what they call autocrat

00:07:46.160 trump wild stuff mike benz my head was blowing up i sent this to steve he's like we got to do a

00:07:52.700 two-hour special on this and of course get mike benz i'm curious your sort of reactions to norm

00:08:00.100 eisen admitting that an interview probably should be like evidence somewhere for some case

00:08:04.780 well it it might end up being uh one day in the not too distant future um we are we're in a period of

00:08:15.080 incredible transformative change right now within the united states of the structures that norm eisen has

00:08:20.900 depended on for power and to project as the sort of quarterback of this blob the various instruments

00:08:28.140 of blob power from the courts to the streets with the protests uh to the bureaucracy to the funding

00:08:37.140 mechanism of the u.s budget and i do want to read a passage actually from that democracy playbook

00:08:43.340 i'm i'm proud to say that i think i was the first person to ever publish about the democracy playbook of

00:08:49.840 norm eisen uh in 2019 when he was just coming onto the radar of this um i published uh in in revolver

00:08:58.680 uh together with darren beady kind of the definitive norm eisen piece which ended up blowing up and i think

00:09:05.580 putting much of this on the map but this playbook is a very instructive annually updated um tool that's

00:09:13.980 kind of a consensus building tool out of the brookings institution which is known as the top

00:09:20.100 ranked think tank in the united states it's not really a think tank at all that is a blob consensus

00:09:26.060 building mechanism uh with very strange links to the u.s intelligence apparatus i should note the cia in

00:09:33.320 the 1980s would send people to uh cia agents to brookings for training the cia has a uh in intelligence

00:09:42.040 and governance uh i'm sorry the brookings has an intelligence and governance section norm eisen

00:09:48.040 himself was a state department ambassador the ambassadors play the coordinating role in a region

00:09:53.880 with state craft and intelligence and i i want to note that they're the seven pillars that norm

00:10:00.960 eisen describes in the 2025 playbook are controlling elections controlling the courts uh fighting

00:10:10.040 fighting corruption basically you know painting trump as an autocrat reinforcing civic and media space

00:10:15.380 that means a full court press on ngos and so-called civil society organizations and control over the

00:10:22.780 media but pillar six is very interesting because it's called controlling disinformation and i want

00:10:28.800 to read a passage from this section he sort of bemoans the existence of the first amendment in saying

00:10:35.480 that federal action may be uncertain as trump controls the executive branch but that at the

00:10:41.160 state level state governments should try to pursue censorship policies of course we saw this with the

00:10:46.940 state of california uh pass trying to pass laws to go after x and force all sorts of transparency and

00:10:54.200 accountability requirements on social media companies we saw the same thing done in michigan but what they

00:10:59.380 note what norm eisen notes is that states may find partners in allied regulators over social media such as

00:11:08.260 the eu and brazil so this is norm eisen as as you heard in this clip noting that uh he recruited people for his

00:11:17.800 new blob shop uh from folks who overturned basically regimes that he called autocratic which of course he has to 0.55

00:11:27.800 you when it when all you have is a hammer everything looks like a nail all these people get paid to

00:11:32.680 fight autocracy abroad through the state department usa id the u.s institute of peace the department of

00:11:39.720 defense civil military but the fact that norm eisen is telling states to go and work with the absolutely

00:11:47.120 crooked abjectly tyrannical censor state of brazil to try to find allies between democrat party

00:11:56.760 uh censorship activists in the united states and a foreign government which is putting tens of

00:12:03.880 thousands of people in prison which has banned by judicial edict president bolsonaro from having a

00:12:11.740 social media account from having his inner from participating in public interviews from having those

00:12:17.960 interviews shared on social media that is who norm eisen and the democrat party are looking to as allies

00:12:26.040 to commonly fight social media free speech it's absolutely insane but what i what i want to note

00:12:33.340 here is we're at a time of change and we are seeing declassifications now happening at breakneck pace

00:12:41.100 we saw the jfk files mass declassified we saw the martin luther king files declassified we saw the

00:12:48.540 crossfire hurricane documents declassified we saw the classified annex involving george soros and leonard

00:12:57.000 bernardo who also as you posted this clip natalie if you recall leonard bernardo the clip that you posted

00:13:03.360 what was he myopically obsessed with stopping misinformation and disinformation and how can we

00:13:08.760 take on social media freedom but the fact is is you have you you have these internal documents at the

00:13:17.920 state department in usa id and the u.s institute of peace and it is my hope my dream that we get

00:13:25.420 us aid files we get state department democracy rights and labor files that's the group that norm

00:13:32.300 eisen's crew works with within the state department this democracy money spigot labor involves the

00:13:39.680 getting mass street street muscle what i found this week which i went over with on a in a private

00:13:45.620 lecture but i'll be posting later this week um are incredible riot training documents from the u.s

00:13:52.460 federal government to ngos to help them organize the kind of street protests that norm eisen depends on

00:13:59.300 in order to project political power artificially into a system where his own side has been outvoted

00:14:05.200 the u.s institute of peace for example which darren beattie has just become became the new acting

00:14:10.240 president of has entire courses instructing ngos how to uh how to start rental riots how to shut down

00:14:19.320 highways and block traffic and it's one thing when you have first amendment protected freedom of assembly

00:14:28.920 obviously the right to protest is sacrosanct in this country but what you have out of norm i

00:14:35.240 i'm gonna do what the audience is gonna get really mad at me for we're coming up against a

00:14:39.980 break it's not up to me but i'm gonna hold you through because i want to expand on that and how this

00:14:44.180 also comes back to declaring elections as critical infrastructure war and posse make sure

00:14:57.100 according to the department of energy blackouts could increase by 10 000 over the next few years

00:15:05.000 it's because of massive energy demand from artificial intelligence data centers we talk about that

00:15:10.600 all the time here in the war room and we have a fragile power grid it just cannot keep up with that

00:15:16.300 demand i don't know about you but i don't like the idea of being without power even for a day that's

00:17:13.280 normizen or the world economic forum which i think is ranking the top long-term disaster to be afraid

00:17:18.920 of as a crisis level natural disasters maybe that sounds like something good to check out that's my

00:17:25.040 patriot supply mike i just want to add to i mean i think the crux of what you're saying is essentially

00:17:30.780 you know the people that we are going up against it's actually sort of you know the system right they

00:17:36.260 present themselves as they're the ones engaging and outside the system change but they're the blob the

00:17:40.700 deep state take your pick but i think it's also interesting throughout that democracy playbook

00:17:46.780 document usaid is mentioned i think what is it like a dozen times and i remember that they actually make

00:17:52.940 the key point which is that usaid was so essential not just for the censorship i even think we saw that in

00:17:58.960 the declassified i think it was also by dni tulsi but biden's censorship plan but that sort of on the

00:18:05.020 counterpoint or the foil to that was that usaid as norm sort of wrote was going to be a key component

00:18:11.580 of the proactive media coverage to sort of depict president trump as an autocrat which frankly i think

00:18:18.840 explains a lot of the apoplexy over the dismantling of usaid in the early days of the trump administration

00:18:24.580 because that was going to kind of be ground zero right for the for the resistance you can pick up where

00:18:30.240 where you left off but last point because i like to just give you time so the audience doesn't get

00:18:35.480 mad at me um but talking about how they've also declared elections critical infrastructure obviously

00:18:41.440 norm has played you know a key role in a lot of the election litigation but even in the democracy

00:18:46.560 playbook there's a bizarre section where they talk about wanting to bring in international election

00:18:51.880 observers somehow affiliated with the eu into the united states to like endorse weird standards of

00:18:58.780 transparency and openness and equality and all these sort of nebulous terms that i think you and i

00:19:03.020 in the audience know all too well are frequently misappropriated to just basically usher in censorship or just

00:19:09.060 you know democrat wins but i'm curious your kind of broader analysis yes 37 times the democracy

00:19:16.900 playbook 2025 by norm eisen references usa id 37 times and includes uh the power of usa id to

00:19:26.420 uh fund media allies for the blob they cite usa id's role in supporting groups like the corruption

00:19:35.240 reporting project in ukraine which ended up uh indirectly kicking off the 2019 trump impeachment

00:19:44.240 by trying to dig up dirt on rudy giuliani using u.s taxpayer funds to do so and then using that as part

00:19:50.820 of the basis for the trump impeachment usa id has been the norm eisen playground it's been the norm eisen

00:19:56.840 slush fund to run money to media organizations to street protesters um to to bribe governments in order

00:20:05.360 to control the prosecutors we saw for example the billion dollar usa loan guarantee which was weaponized by

00:20:11.980 vice president joe biden to remove victor shokin who was investigating burisma and it's no surprise that

00:20:18.220 norm eisen was representing the federal employees uh trying to stop the shutdown of usa id

00:20:25.440 through the afl-cio lawsuit uh against uh against the trump administration norm eisen also led the cabal

00:20:34.420 with the lawsuits against shutting down the state department's global engagement center this is a

00:20:39.160 state department usa id nato network and this is why you see the references to the eu uh all over this as

00:20:47.280 well the eu has has the biggest censorship tool in in human existence at its fingers now as just

00:20:57.640 july 1st just over a month ago their code of practice on disinformation became mandatory and the goal of

00:21:05.320 it is to control the speech within america by forcing companies to either censor speech in america

00:21:11.860 that the eu says or lose 550 million customers of those social media companies in the eu norm eisen

00:21:19.940 knows about this leverage he was an integral part in the creation of these regulatory tools he's had his

00:21:27.480 eye on it for eight years now at this point and works very closely with with these same networks

00:21:33.200 on the point about the critical infrastructure this was a a legacy of russiagate on january 6 2017

00:21:41.820 which was the real january 6 when something that actually changed and undermined a government

00:21:48.760 was done it was that was the day that the intelligence community assessment

00:21:52.720 giving the intelligence community and premature to saying that russia hacked our elections and russia

00:21:58.780 stole the 2016 election just an hour after that came out the department of homeland security under

00:22:05.580 barack obama designated elections the metaphysical concept of elections as critical infrastructure

00:22:12.500 giving the u.s federal government jurisdiction over elections which had not had not had in two and a

00:22:18.380 half centuries elections were always controlled by the state governments all 50 states both democrats

00:22:25.520 and republicans all 50 state secretary of states opposed outgoing dhs secretary jed johnson's

00:22:32.460 designation of elections as critical infrastructure giving dhs the power to essentially control and

00:22:40.120 administer the voting machines used in all 50 states as well as a variety of other election processes

00:22:47.220 why do we still have elections designated as critical infrastructure when we know this only happened

00:22:55.060 because of the lie that russia stole the 2016 election and so we need a federal government to defend

00:23:01.080 against this is phantom russia threat this was something all 50 states opposed the only reason that

00:23:06.740 the states ended up coming on board with it was for two reasons you had the uh you had the first dhs

00:23:16.240 secretary trump ended up firing six different dhs secretaries during the first four years

00:23:21.940 of his first term uh but the initial dhs secretary ratified it uh before he became the white house

00:23:31.200 chief of staff and they paid the states to go along with it they they opened up a giant multi

00:23:36.580 hundred million dollar slush fund to pay the state secretary of state offices if they worked with the

00:23:43.420 department of homeland security and essentially got rid of their objection so we we pay a federal government

00:23:51.800 office to maintain to usurp the control of elections held by states and then we pay for another federal

00:23:59.540 government slush fund to bribe the states to go along with it we're talking now about getting rid of

00:24:06.300 uh waste fraud and abuse this is state sanctioned waste fraud and abuse it has to be undone immediately

00:24:11.700 the the last thing that i'll say is that we were talking before the the break about the need for usa id files

00:24:20.320 and state department files and u.s institute of peace files on the connective tissue between the illegal

00:24:28.880 conspiracies carried out by norm eisen's group when they engage in illegal protest activity now legal

00:24:37.740 protest activity is obviously protected on the first amendment but when you see things like what

00:24:42.200 happened in minneapolis in 2020 and across the country in the summer of 2020 or you see what was done

00:24:48.180 in los angeles with with these the ice riots there is a concept promoted by the same state department

00:24:56.580 us usaid u.s institute of peace networks that norm eisen works with called strategic non-cooperation

00:25:03.860 and by that they mean non-cooperation with the state and by that they through that concept they engage in

00:25:11.380 illegal activities such as the shutting down of critical infrastructure the shutting down of

00:25:16.180 critical highway and transport lanes in order to bring a government to its knees this is not the same

00:25:23.820 thing as first amendment protected protests where you're simply marching on public property with signs

00:25:29.480 this is this is effectively a form of domestic terrorism to shut down highways and shut down

00:25:36.220 trade so that people mothers pregnant in their cars can't get to a hospital so that people can't get 0.79

00:25:43.140 to work this is an organized conspiracy when it's planned ahead of time and you'll see norm eisen's

00:25:50.620 fascination with declaring every protest spontaneous is specifically because he knows where his own

00:25:57.220 weaknesses are to the extent that these protests the illegal aspect of them the violence the provocation

00:26:04.660 with police the shutdown of highways i believe these need to be prosecuted criminally and every

00:26:11.100 government document in the federal government's possession about the coordination and organization

00:26:17.340 of illegal shutdowns of american cities has to now be made public i believe there needs to be a

00:26:24.900 interagency transparency team it can be led by the white house national security council

00:26:29.320 it should have representatives from investigators at the state department from the legacy usa id function

00:26:35.940 from the u.s institute of peace from the the pentagon civil military branch and it should have a

00:29:52.020 welcome back to the war room i think mike benz makes the key point that what you're witnessing it's not

00:30:02.400 defending democracy it's not pro-democracy protests it's about regime change and the word domestic

00:30:09.780 terrorism i don't think is used lightly and frankly there's no conspiracies no coincidences as

00:30:14.580 y'all know but i believe up at the harvard ash center which is sizably funded by state department

00:30:20.280 usa id i guess maybe no longer after the trump administration but the director of that which

00:30:24.980 was the group that was coordinating with a lot of democratic lawmakers to train a lot of these you

00:30:29.680 know anti-trump shock troops well the director of it her background her experience if you read her

00:30:34.740 resume it reads more like a rap sheet than anything contained to the ivory tower of academia her expert

00:30:41.120 was in terrorism or expertise rather was in terrorism and she was like okay with civil disobedience but

00:30:49.160 only because she thought it was marginally more effective from an optics perspective but she knows how

00:30:54.040 to carry out regime change and use terrorism to achieve uh her violent goals i'm quoting her resume

00:31:00.360 on that front uh also speaking of it you got to check out her news story i just posted uh you can go to

00:31:06.220 nataliejwinters.substack.com to read it about how believe it or not your tax dollars are funding a lot

00:31:12.140 of these ice hotlines these groups that are trying to sabotage president trump's deportation raids by

00:31:18.500 doxing ice agents and providing legal defense to criminal illegal aliens uh your own tax dollars

00:31:24.200 your own government i don't know how this stuff is still going on make sure you go and read that but

00:31:28.720 i bring up the hypocrisy of democrats defending democracy and caring so much about it because i think

00:31:34.660 just from a an objective standpoint what's going on in texas though why you would flee to illinois and

00:31:41.660 i guess now california probably only two more gerrymandered states allegedly then then texas is beyond me

00:31:48.180 but i guess if you know the legacy media is going to run cover for you then you can get away with

00:31:51.820 doing anything and posting cringe selfies while you're at it uh that is unless you have an ag like 0.99

00:31:58.460 ken paxton the wonderful ken paxton who has just filed i believe with the supreme court to declare

00:32:03.640 those 13 democrat house seats vacant quote the rogue democrat legislators who fled the state have

00:32:08.160 abandoned their duties leaving their seats vacant these cowards deliberately sabotaged the

00:32:12.440 constitutional process and violated the oath they swore to uphold i've asked the texas supreme court to

00:32:17.220 declare what has been clear from the beginning that the runaway members have officially vacated

00:32:21.160 their offices in the texas house i also think beto o'rourke is facing some uh some bribery

00:32:28.820 accusations turned into legal charges brian harrison who has been a real fighter throughout what feels

00:32:35.220 like this years-long battle over uh five districts in texas joins us now brian can you bring us up to speed

00:32:42.880 happy to do it natalie and uh the posse you guys have been in the fight since before there was a

00:32:49.520 fight when the austin rhino uniparty establishment was up to its usual tricks of like okay republicans

00:32:55.600 and okay president trump we'll we'll put redistricting on the agenda and we may or may not get to it those

00:33:02.420 pesky don't yeah no no no the posse has been on to their games and the pressure uh um has you know

00:33:08.620 is having an effect believe me the leadership in the texas government feels the posse they know

00:33:13.940 they're looking over your shoulder um here's the update it's not it's not real good we just got off

00:33:18.900 the floor um this is officially day five of the quorum break although the posse is aware it's really

00:33:25.220 day nine because our liberal rhino speaker uh who was elected by the democrats uh owes the democrats

00:33:32.980 position and is the guy who released the democrats to get a head start on their quorum break um is

00:33:38.600 choosing to continue not punishing the democrats at all today we got a lot more talk and no action

00:33:45.080 we got a lot of fake and i gotta really drive this point home there's a lot of gaslighting coming out

00:33:51.720 of the elected leadership uh in texas um making they want to look like they're taking action but in the

00:33:58.200 reality is leadership of the texas house is doing absolutely nothing to punish these democrats

00:34:02.880 the two biggest air quote punishments okay that they're meeting out is nothing serious we're not

00:34:08.260 taking their chairmanships away we're not taking their seniority away we're not pulling them off

00:34:12.540 their committees the things that would hurt them no no the two quote unquote punishments are get ready

00:34:18.620 for it they're going to stop letting them do their newsletters that they send out once a year and

00:34:26.580 their payment their salary they're going to be paid in full but it might be on a printed check as opposed

00:34:35.020 to a direct deposit and no i'm not that sounds like a joke but i'm not making it up those are the

00:34:42.000 biggest punishments uh that have been announced so far from the the you know party rhinos down here 0.92

00:34:48.280 the control uh the texas house i was glad to see ken paxton filed that lawsuit but of course and so

00:34:53.360 he's doing what he can uh but that's you know a legal battle so that's you know could be protracted

00:34:57.700 and in the courts the reality is the political this isn't as much of a legal question as it is a

00:35:03.060 political question the democrats are playing hardball because they understand the stakes it's the future

00:35:09.620 and it's not even hyperbole to say this the posse knows it it's it's the future of our countries on the

00:35:14.860 line as goes texas so goes the nation as goes the nation so goes the world and what we're doing with

00:35:20.460 here with this redistricting it might literally control whether the united states congress

00:35:25.980 falls into the hands of hakeem jeffries and aoc and nancy pelosi and derails president trump's final

00:35:33.360 two years in office or not so the stakes couldn't be higher but people need to keep up the pressure

00:35:40.980 governor lieutenant governor speaker that we're tired of action we're tired of rhetoric i mean five days ago

00:35:46.360 the governor said that he was going to vacate these democrats out of their seats but i mean

00:35:50.280 nothing has actually happened there's been no vacates there's been no arrests okay the governor

00:35:55.560 hasn't even promised to veto the bills of these rogue democrats the speaker has not promised to kill the

00:36:00.460 bills of these rogue democrats um it we need to be playing you know natalie you know this the posse knows

00:36:06.420 this i'm sick and tired of weak establishment republicans not fighting as hard for the future of our

00:36:12.920 country as the radical extremist democrats and texas should be leading the fight we should be

00:36:19.120 leading the charge and it's just not happening today was more rhetoric more hot air no action

00:36:25.300 brian harrison i hope we get to have you on one day where we can actually celebrate uh something that

00:36:32.880 republican leadership has done down texas i'm not gonna hold my breath uh luckily we have people like

00:36:37.820 you who are fighting it how can the posse help you make the calls what where do we stand with sort of

00:36:44.000 those those marching orders yeah so so keep the calls coming in i'll get the the phone numbers y'all

00:36:49.040 been putting the phone numbers up a lot when i'm on um yeah those are the numbers you got it right

00:36:52.780 there make sure they know you're watching them and that they have that number one they could have

00:36:59.140 stopped this from happening if they'd wanted to but number two they've got all the power they have

00:37:04.260 all the tools to stop this corn break dead in its tracks right now they need to be asked why are you

00:37:10.680 not using every tool available to bring them home and then if they want to follow um the updates i post

00:37:16.660 updates almost non-stop at this point i've got the most hated twitter feed in the capital in the state

00:37:21.960 of texas i can assure you of that uh it's at brian e harrison on x uh at brian e harrison uh at brian

00:37:29.760 e harrison go follow like share because if you're just getting your news about what's going on in

00:37:34.640 texas from the major media you're not getting the truth because the major media they just play the

00:37:40.400 clips they just play the sound bites but they're not actually reporting on what people care about

00:37:46.040 which is action and results and unfortunately uh the uniparty seems to be up to its old tricks down

00:37:52.600 here in the state of texas we're ultimately going to win but we can win a lot faster if people got a

00:37:57.700 lot more energized down here in the posse you guys are making a difference i promise you uh we

00:38:02.160 wouldn't see any movement uh we wouldn't even be close at all if it weren't for you guys so keep

00:38:06.480 the pressure up remind these elected officials what is at stake and that you know they can make a

00:38:13.000 difference you need they've got the power to end it and you expect results brian thank you so much

00:38:19.240 for joining us something tells me we will have you back on super soon always drink being with you

00:38:24.660 and steven the posse god bless texas god bless y'all thank you sir now i know we always like to

00:38:32.020 talk about what is it you know tick tock the deep state they're panicking and look i hope they are i

00:38:36.880 think they should be but it's always a great day when you see that actually materialize on particularly

00:38:42.640 msnbc and their legal analysts or it's freaking out on behalf of the one and only tish james we're 0.98

00:38:49.540 gonna have julie kelly on to break it down but let's roll this clip because it's just too good not to watch 0.96

00:38:53.980 there is nothing scarier for a citizen to get a subpoena or find out that they're being investigated

00:39:01.140 by a federal criminal grand jury it's terrifying and here's why grand jury investigations sweep

00:39:07.940 broadly they gather terabytes of information and they're very efficient at going through it

00:39:13.840 and the problem there for people is that they may be investigating issue number one and then stumble

00:39:20.040 across never before known issue number two when going through all those documents that is why

00:39:26.660 if somebody is the subject the target of a grand jury investigation that is not a good sign so given

00:39:35.380 that the federal government has such tremendous power to investigate letitia james should be very

00:39:41.080 concerned not that she necessarily did anything wrong but because that kind of scrutiny of financial

00:39:48.120 records of business records everything going back probably years might yield something that the

00:39:54.080 government finds interesting

00:39:55.280 i guess the uh the hunters have become the hunted how does that feel tish james by the way love the

00:40:03.920 addition of she didn't necessarily do anything wrong because he knows he probably can't say

00:40:08.780 definitively that she didn't do anything wrong because we know what she did and conspired to do against

00:40:13.840 president trump someone who tracked that from the beginning the get-go of all it was of course

00:40:18.180 done other than the wonderful julie kelly who joins us now julie we've got a few minutes before we got

00:40:22.340 to jump to break but i'm just curious your sort of assessment not just of that clip but more broadly the

00:40:27.560 the doj grand jury investigation i mean um kudos to attorney general pam bondi and of course our friend

00:40:35.400 ed martin who is going to be who has been tasked with pursuing these investigations into both tish james

00:40:43.260 and adam schiff for mortgage fraud but i have to say natalie after covering the january 6 proceedings

00:40:51.500 and the two criminal investigations into donald trump which resulted in those two unprecedented federal

00:40:57.740 indictments by special counsel jack smith where they dragged dozens and dozens of trump associates

00:41:05.200 family members white house aides attorneys vice president mike pence in front of a dc grand jury

00:41:12.140 to testify about the president allegedly trying to overturn the results of the 2020 election now all of a sudden

00:41:18.940 now all of a sudden the legal experts and talking heads are uh just gobsmacked that this can work

00:41:26.220 both ways and that there is serious potential legal liability for letitia james adam schiff and whoever else

00:41:34.540 this trump doj decides to go after and i'm curious this is sort of the the first i think through this

00:41:42.680 approach right the grand jury investigation where else would you recommend that they go go after this

00:41:47.880 or would you do it sort of piece by piece or would you just throw a wide net i guess kind of like the

00:41:52.780 democrats did well we do know also that uh pambani this week tasked a federal prosecutor with bringing

00:42:01.160 russiagate hoax evidence to a grand jury what's interesting and i just read a piece as i'm trying to catch up

00:42:07.720 on this uh development today it looks like they are pursuing grand juries in maryland

00:42:14.060 and virginia which means natalie that the doj is doing whatever they can to avoid presenting these investigations

00:42:23.060 or pursuing prosecutions in the dc district courthouse which as you know when we've talked

00:42:28.360 about four years is uh really the center of the rot of our legal and judicial system the politicization

00:42:37.740 all uh originates right there in that dc courthouse we saw what happened to jeb bosberg today i'm sure

00:42:43.700 we'll talk about it on the other side here uh but that if true that they are pursuing grand juries

00:42:49.400 outside of dc and maryland and virginia that's also an extremely interesting development today as

00:42:55.720 well julie if you can hang with us through through the break i guess you're already ahead of me i want

00:43:01.700 to link this obviously the courts nine times out of ten the news is bad but every now and then you see

00:43:06.560 a rogue radical they say oh bush appointed or you know seldom right wing but we know they are all

00:43:13.880 very very far they're not even judges they're activists we shouldn't even call them that we

00:43:18.160 shouldn't afford them that that honor and that privilege julie if you can hang with us we're

00:43:22.260 going to get into the overturn of uh i think a very infamous bosberg decision having to do with

00:43:28.100 you know something that it shouldn't be that controversial but that is of course deporting 0.99

00:43:31.760 criminal illegal aliens to frankly i would argue whatever country whatever hellhole those scum of 1.00

00:43:37.740 the earth people belong in absolutely wild i guess the hunters have become the hunted we'll keep 1.00

00:43:43.760 saying that we'll be right back after this show break hey i realize you got many choices when it

00:43:51.000 comes to who you choose for your cell phone service and there are new ones popping up all the time but

00:43:55.780 here's the truth there's only one that boldly stands in the gap for every american that believes

00:44:00.560 that freedom is worth fighting for and that's the team at patriot mobile for more than 12 years

00:44:06.360 patriot mobile has been on the front lines of fighting for our god-given rights and freedoms

00:44:10.320 while also providing exceptional nationwide cell phone service with access to all three of the main

00:44:16.760 networks don't just take my word for it ask the hundreds of thousands of americans who've made the

00:44:22.560 switch are now supporting causes they believe in simply by joining patriot mobile switching is easier

00:44:28.480 than ever activate in minutes from the comfort of your own home keep your number keep your phone or

00:44:33.700 upgrade patriot mobile's all u.s based support team is standing by to take care of you call

00:44:38.980 978 patriot today or go to patriot mobile.com slash bannon that's patriot mobile.com slash bannon use the

00:44:47.440 promo code bannon for a free month of service that's patriot mobile.com slash bannon or call

00:44:53.840 972 patriot and make the switch today here's your host stephen k bannon

00:45:00.720 welcome back to the war room i think since we started this show there's some breaking news at

00:45:10.120 least reportedly potentially an active shooter at emory university down in georgia unclear the

00:45:16.580 specifics it's just sort of starting to break the videos on social media so we'll definitely keep

00:45:21.680 keep tracking that but as we wait for that to develop we've still got julie kelly julie if you can walk

00:45:28.420 the audience through what happened re boseberg's like i was saying very infamous decision regarding

00:45:35.840 the alien enemies act the deportations the flights and how it was actually struck down

00:45:41.060 well actually what was reversed today natalie was his contempt order against the trump administration

00:45:50.420 so what boseberg did in that infamous hearing on march 15th in that very first alien enemies act

00:45:56.660 lawsuit is he set a contempt trap for the trump department of justice and ever since that day

00:46:02.720 forward he pursued it claiming that the trump department of justice and his administration

00:46:09.160 defied an order an oral order he calls it to return two planes that had already departed u.s airspace

00:46:17.420 were carrying these alien enemies act subjects from detention centers in texas to el salvador

00:46:26.100 jeb bosberg egregiously ordering the return of u.s planes carrying illegal immigrants has outside of

00:46:34.480 the purview of uh the judicial branch ordering them return not only did the supreme court vacate

00:46:41.240 uh his order um not that particular well that order but also said he doesn't have jurisdiction over

00:46:47.700 this because the plaintiffs in the case were in texas they weren't in washington didn't matter

00:46:52.800 what bosberg did after that was uh berate and harass and harangue doj attorneys in his courtroom and i was

00:47:02.420 there in april when he did it again claiming that by defying that order to return the planes they were

00:47:08.780 in contempt of court what the dc appellate court did today uh two to one decision two trump judges

00:47:15.180 one obama appointed judge was vacate his contempt findings and not only did they vacate his contempt

00:47:23.600 findings natalie um they issued a writ of mandamus which is very unusual for judges to do basically

00:47:30.600 saying either do your job or don't do your job and so they said because a particular naomi rao a trump

00:47:38.100 appointed judge on that panel just called this an egregious abuse of power and discretion by jeb

00:47:45.480 bosberg that there was no evidence first of all that that uh the entire order that he issued was

00:47:51.360 overturned by the supreme court and number two the contempt findings were weak at best and he didn't

00:47:57.420 have any basis for claiming that they had defied that order so this is really another stunning

00:48:03.720 development more proof natalie of this hyper partisan judge uh who is the chief judge of the dc district

00:48:11.340 court by the way he's not just a regular judge on the bench he is extremely powerful and this is why

00:48:18.420 as i said earlier uh the trump administration would have an extremely difficult time pursuing any grand

00:48:25.700 jury proceedings in dc courthouse because he would oversee those as the chief judge so now you have

00:48:32.340 judge bosberg being smacked down by the supreme court twice the appellate court again today they

00:48:38.860 also may um issue another they're looking at something else that bosberg did that might have

00:48:45.120 violated local court rules early on in this process so this guy is completely out of control

00:48:51.120 uh but natalie as you know we talked about these dc judges do not care if they're overturned by the

00:48:56.660 supreme court by their colleagues on the dc appellate court they are going to do whatever they can

00:49:01.840 to help shape this narrative that the trump administration is defying court orders uh and

00:49:07.900 acting outside of the scope of whatever these courts and judges tell them to do uh and so that is what

00:49:14.700 jeb bosberg tried to do and uh luckily the dc appellate court uh overturned him today

00:49:22.120 julie kelly as always we appreciate you breaking all this down for us here in the war room before we

00:49:28.800 have you back on if people want to follow you stay up to date with everything you're working on where

00:49:32.600 can they go to do that so i covered some of this today on x julie underscore kelly too

00:49:38.260 and my sub stack is declassified with julie kelly

00:49:41.580 thank you ma'am for joining us have a good weekend thanks natalie

00:49:46.580 what she's describing i think is exactly the playbook that we heard norm eisen brazenly admit to

00:49:54.920 while talking with pbs right the sort of convergence between lawfare and political opposition regime

00:50:01.480 change all of that running together and now of course using that to sort of incite public opinion

00:50:07.600 and depict president trump as this rogue unconstitutional lawless autocrat i don't know

00:50:13.140 about you i don't think any of the people on the norm eisenkamp and these left-wing crazy soros funded
