Bannon's War Room - Episode 4704： Seizing The Institutions

00:00:00.000 First is country music star, actor, and producer, George Strait.

00:00:12.480 Great. Over an extraordinary four-decade career, George has sold more than 120 million records

00:00:20.560 worldwide, amassed 60 number one hits, wow, and produced 33 platinum certified albums,

00:00:29.120 more than any other living American. That is amazing. He's believed by millions of people to

00:00:36.400 just be as good as you can get, and he's beloved by hundreds of millions of people all over the

00:00:44.720 world. He's really something, and they call him the king of country, and we know him very well,

00:00:49.920 George Strait. Second is actor, singer, philanthropist, and star of the Broadway stage,

00:01:01.280 one of my favorite talents. I think he's one of the greatest talents I've ever actually seen.

00:01:06.320 I've always said, and just so we don't get in trouble, I'll say among, but among the greatest

00:01:12.800 artists in the world are the Broadway London actors back and forth. That's all they want to do is they

00:01:17.440 want to do Broadway, and they want to do London. They want to do eight shows a week, including

00:01:23.040 matinee on Wednesday. And if you said make a movie, they can't even think about it. If you say go on

00:01:28.640 television, they don't want it. All they want to do is be on the stage, the live stage, and it's

00:01:32.880 amazing. But I've always said they're the most talented people. And this man may be the most of all,

00:01:39.200 Michael Crawford is being honored. Next, we look forward to honoring three-time Oscar nominee,

00:01:46.640 Golden Globe Award winner, an action movie icon, and a friend of mine. He's a very unique man. He's

00:01:54.720 somebody that doesn't do these things. I said, I wonder if he'll accept, because some people

00:01:59.600 don't really want to be honored. They don't care. But he was very honored to be honored, I will tell

00:02:08.640 you. He was, he's a very special guy. A real talent, never been given the credit for the talent. There

00:02:17.040 was nobody else could have done the roles that he did like he did. I'm not even close. And they've

00:02:20.800 tried and they didn't work out too well. His name is Sylvester Stallone.

00:02:31.120 Fourth, we'll be together celebrating one of the most revered singers of the American disco era,

00:02:39.920 Gloria Gaynor.

00:02:40.960 Best known for her chart-topping 1978 hit, I Will Survive. Gloria won the 1980 Grammy for Best Disco

00:02:56.480 Recording and her song was inducted into the National Recording Registry in 2016. Four decades later,

00:03:04.320 Gloria won a second Grammy in 2020 for her gospel album, Testimony, which is incredible.

00:03:12.640 Truly a historic achievement, not only in times of the, not only in terms of the years that have gone

00:03:18.800 by to be great that long, but to have the two top, two top of anything in that span of time and

00:03:27.040 with that kind of period between is pretty amazing. And finally, we'll be honoring one of the greatest rock

00:03:34.160 bands of all time, KISS.

00:03:42.720 So KISS was formed in 1973 in New York City by founding band members and incredible people,

00:03:50.080 by the way, Paul Stanley, Gene Simmons, Ace Fraley, and Peter Criss.

00:03:57.360 KISS became a global phenomenon, sold more than 100 million records worldwide and produced 30

00:04:05.920 gold albums and lots of other things they produced. They made a fortune. And they're great people,

00:04:12.400 and they deserve it, and they work hard, and they're still working hard. And it's an honor to

00:04:17.840 present Chris, KISS. Thank you very much. Got it? Yeah. Thank you.

00:04:24.560 What exactly is happening? Because just on the face of it, one of the concerns I've read is,

00:04:30.880 even if you've gotten people who have said, I'll take the Kennedy Center honors,

00:04:35.120 there's usually dozens and dozens of people who show up to perform in honor of them. Will they get

00:04:41.280 performers out? The idea of a president of the United States hosting, what's going on at the Kennedy

00:04:47.200 Center? Yeah, I don't mean to say that we're, you know, getting into the D list of celebrities,

00:04:53.040 but we're certainly getting into, or, you know, entertainers. We're certainly getting to a point where

00:04:57.760 there's a very small pool because what's going on at the Kennedy Center is, you know, a takeover by

00:05:03.120 the president that isn't just about who gets to sit on the board, but it is literally down to him

00:05:08.880 choosing who's going to be a recipient of awards. And you look down the list, you know, that he named

00:05:14.000 today, you know, KISS, the band, headlined by Gene Simmons, who was a candidate, I guess, on

00:05:22.960 the celebrity apprentice. You look at Sylvester Stallone, a huge Trump supporter. And, you know,

00:05:29.200 we all love Sly Stallone and Rocky 50 years ago or so, but it's certainly not the sort of lifetime

00:05:35.840 achievement that you normally see in a Kennedy Center honor. So basically, it looks like the

00:05:40.240 standard is as long as you have supported Donald Trump in the past, you could be a Kennedy Center

00:05:46.160 Honorary. By the way, I should say one other thing, if you don't mind, Chris. I think we heard

00:05:53.920 him talking about politics earlier then. I think we got a clip of that. Okay.

00:05:59.440 I shouldn't make this political because they made the Academy Awards political and they went down the

00:06:03.920 tubes. So they'll say Trump made it political. But I think if we make it our kind of political,

00:06:09.280 we'll go up. Okay. Let's see if I'm right about that.

00:06:11.920 Our kind of political, Trump said, and again, if you look at the list of honorees,

00:06:17.440 it's clear where that's headed. Burn it down. They're just anti-institutionalists. You know,

00:06:21.840 Alex Wagner the other day, we're the ones that protect the institutions. No, Alex,

00:06:25.840 we're grabbing the institutions and taking power. As the American people, the way our constitutional

00:06:31.840 system works, gave President Trump the authority to do. So we're going to deconstruct

00:06:38.240 the administrative state. We're going to purge the deep state and the executive branch.

00:06:42.720 We're going to take over the Senate.

00:06:47.840 And we control the house already. Oh, by the way, the judiciary, you're not going to get your

00:06:53.120 judges through. They're all going to be Trump judges. I want you to you're on the fetal position.

00:06:57.600 So I'm gonna give you something really suck your thumbs about. 0.99

00:07:01.200 We are in charge. Okay. The American people have spoken. 0.99

00:07:05.280 All right, everyone, if that doesn't jack you up a bit, I don't know what will. Steve Bannon,

00:07:13.600 seizing the institutions, Rocky in the background, one of the greatest movies ever made.

00:07:20.000 In my view, I'm going to get in trouble with my wife at home for that one. 1.00

00:07:23.120 But this is a return to the 80s. Seizing the institutions. I love this. I kiss Rocky Sylvester

00:07:30.960 Stallone at the Kennedy Center. If that's not seizing the institutions, I don't know what is.

00:07:36.800 So I personally love it. DC's being shaken up. We're returning to peace around the world,

00:07:43.840 hopefully. We're returning to peace in the streets. The stock market likes it. The markets are ripping

00:07:49.680 up. It's unbelievable what's going on. Huge capital investment coming our way, $10 trillion.

00:07:58.080 Tariffs are having their anticipated effect on the rest of the world, both politically and

00:08:02.640 economically. Today's show you're going to love. We're going to cover the many conspiracies that

00:08:09.360 are no longer conspiracies. They are all going to grand juries because the evidence is overwhelming.

00:08:16.480 And so today on the show, we have Colonel Derek Harvey, Sam Battis, and then the Nixon

00:08:22.240 piece that Steve did the other day with Michael Patrick Leahy and Jeff Shepard. I loved it. My wife

00:08:28.160 and I are going to be watching that thing tonight. We should have watched it last night because I'm

00:08:31.520 interviewing him right now. But that kind of tees up everything, right? The JFK files have been

00:08:38.320 released a little bit more. It gives us a little more hints that the American people have been on

00:08:43.920 the right page. But let's just get right to the news of the day. It's an honor to bring in Colonel

00:08:49.680 Derek Harvey, and we're going to cover the breaking Russian news first. We had the meetings with Zelensky

00:08:57.920 today who took extreme liberties, not of manners and decorum, but just out of control, imbalance of

00:09:09.600 power between the United States and him in the White House in front of President Trump and J.D. Vance,

00:09:15.440 just kind of a stunning setup. And I don't think he's holding too many cards, but that's why we brought in

00:09:22.960 the expert. And so, Colonel Derek Harvey, can you bring us up on the news of the day and what that

00:09:30.400 set of meetings means? And then we'll get to Friday when we're done with today. Thank you for being with

00:09:35.200 us. Great to be here. Well, Dave, I think that President Zelensky and his main backers, the UK,

00:09:42.720 France, for example, they're the maximalist groups that are holding out for a very hard line position

00:09:54.240 in trying to bring this war to an end completely on their terms. Russia, really no negotiation. 0.86

00:10:01.120 Russia has to not only see the territory they've taken in the invasion three and a half years ago,

00:10:07.680 but they also have to see Crimea and other territories taken back in 2014, etc. So there's that.

00:10:17.440 But NATO is not united. You know, you've got Germany and Poland and others that are

00:10:26.480 very fatigued and want to get out of business with Russia. So I think what we're going to be seeing here 0.96

00:10:33.600 is an effort by the president to move the ball forward in a deal, possibly a framework of a deal,

00:10:43.760 with Putin that would address things with carrots and sticks, trade, technology access, help with the

00:10:51.440 economy for Russia. At the same time, you know, we still have the, you know, the levers of the stick,

00:10:59.440 you know, the sanctions and things like that, that are there too. But it's going to be a very

00:11:05.280 difficult thing because Putin is playing the long game. He sees the weakness in NATO. He knows that

00:11:10.560 America first does not really want to be engaged and he sees popular support for Zelensky and those 0.91

00:11:18.240 positions there by his administration deteriorating rapidly.

00:11:21.680 Yeah. How do you frame the following, right? We believe in the nation state. The globalists want

00:11:29.840 one world government. NATO and the Europeans are probably more toward the globalist position.

00:11:35.360 And so we're in a precarious position where we're saying to a sovereign state, Ukraine, hey,

00:11:41.760 your days are up. But it's kind of because we're so principled like Cub Scouts, right? In no way are

00:11:47.920 they a sovereign state. Our CIA and the Europeans have been playing on this. And NATO has been adding,

00:11:55.760 you know, 16 countries since the deal in 1991, where we gave our oral promise that we wouldn't

00:12:01.680 move east, 17 countries later now, and an unelected president in Zelensky. And we're supposed to,

00:12:08.800 you know, so how do you appraise that situation? He has been acting on the behest of NATO and the United

00:12:16.640 States. And now to think that he's going to call the shots as a leader of a sovereign country,

00:12:21.600 supposedly, when the whole global order and potential nuclear war is at stake. How do you

00:12:26.720 assess that state of affairs? Well, he's in a very weak position in so many ways, but he's

00:12:33.760 obstinate and he has the support of Paris and London and some other capitals and the EU leadership and

00:12:40.800 many in NATO. So that's where his strength comes from. But he is increasingly isolated. And so that's

00:12:47.520 going to be a challenge. But, you know, they can't win the war. And that's just a reality. And I don't

00:12:54.160 think the United States wants to take, you know, significant risk by, you know, removing restrictions

00:13:01.360 on the use of U.S. offensive military capabilities that have been provided. And I don't think we want

00:13:08.400 to provide more offensive capability to them either. We want to get on with building peace in the area

00:13:18.240 and rebuilding NATO and, you know, developing trade and economic efforts that will, you know, bring,

00:13:24.800 you know, Russia and Germany's interests more in line, I think. I think there's a number of avenues here.

00:13:32.800 But keep in mind, this is very important, Dave. Ukraine's government was toppled by a, you know,

00:13:40.960 that was aligned with Russia was toppled by an Obama era color revolution. Okay. And you go back to, 0.52

00:13:48.720 you know, to all of that. We wouldn't be in this place today if it hadn't been for the malign 1.00

00:13:54.320 behavior of the Obama administration and their State Department intelligence services

00:13:59.360 that were playing games in a way that they should never have been.

00:14:04.880 Yeah, that's great. I'm going to hold you over the break. If you can stay with us,

00:14:09.040 that'd be super. And let's dig a little deeper. I just want to know, is his approval necessary,

00:14:16.720 right? He's saying no Ukrainian land. He's making the deal impossible, right? It's very clear to most

00:14:24.720 people that Putin's going to take the Donbass and, you know, the South and maybe a hair more.

00:14:33.360 And so after the break, we'll come back and assess that. You're kind of using the long run leverage we

00:14:40.720 have over him. Do we have short run leverage to just ignore him? Because I think that's the route

00:14:46.880 Trump's going to end up taking one way or the other. And so stay tuned after the break. And

00:14:52.800 we're right back with more on Russia, Putin.

00:14:55.440 I got American faith.

00:15:00.080 This July, there's a global summit of BRICS nations in Rio de Janeiro, the block of emerging superpowers,

00:15:06.560 including China, Russia, India, and Persia, are meeting with the goal of displacing the United

00:15:13.120 States dollar as the global currency. They're calling this the Rio reset. As BRICS nations push 0.85

00:15:20.080 forward with their plans, global demand for U.S. dollars will decrease, bringing down the value of

00:15:24.800 the dollar in your savings. While this transition won't not happen overnight, but trust me, it's going

00:15:31.600 to start in Rio. The Rio reset in July marks a pivotal moment when BRICS objectives move decisively

00:16:58.240 All right, everybody. Get out on Getter. Steve Bannon points you there every day. My stuff's up

00:17:03.200 there. Brad Economics, if you want all the charts. And Charlie Kirk, they just said. And boy, did Charlie

00:17:08.640 do a great job today on Squawk Box with the Conservative and the New York Times. Totally respectful.

00:17:15.880 Great dialogue. But Charlie just said, you know, this establishment deep state crew is unrepentant

00:17:24.280 in any way, shape, or form. Going back to the 08 financial crisis all the way through. The

00:17:29.360 middle class, the working class has been devastated. And he held their feet to the fire and said,

00:17:34.300 it's our turn right now. And he's taking a little grief for the populist movement not telling

00:17:41.120 the truth. And Charlie right back. He said, you're telling me the establishment's been telling the

00:17:46.700 truth. Just, you know, perfect Charlie Kirk. And so markets are up. The financial channel's

00:17:54.180 unrepentant. And they've just been fully on fire. But all the experts, all the PhD economists out there

00:18:02.320 saying, oh, this Trump tariff's going to cause inflation. The latest data says no. The economic data

00:18:09.520 are looking pretty good. And our guys at Birch Gold have had the story straight for a long time,

00:18:14.680 along with Stephen K. Bannon. So please support our friends at Birch Gold. We don't make stock market

00:18:52.140 All right. We're going back to Colonel Derek Harvey. Following up right where we left off on,

00:18:58.400 are the days of Zelensky numbered? Does he get to hold up global relations single-handedly

00:19:07.320 with absurd conditions that no land will be negotiated in any way? What does Trump do if

00:19:12.740 he holds that position? Well, I don't see how Zelensky can hold the position over the long haul

00:19:19.960 because there'll be too much pressure, not just from President Trump, but also from European countries

00:19:26.220 and leaders, international community, and importantly, from within his own country because

00:19:31.120 the numbers have flipped over three years. We're 60, you know, a large percentage, 65% or so,

00:19:38.000 according to the latest Gallup. How reliable those polls are there, I'm not sure, but it shows that

00:19:44.220 there's just a groundswell in a movement towards wanting a peaceful outcome, getting this war over

00:19:51.900 with. Ukraine's exhausted. Europe is tired of it. The international community wants to get on with

00:19:57.660 things, in my view. And Trump's going to meet Putin on Friday, and he's going to have a serious talk

00:20:05.000 with him. He said that, you know, there has to be movement. And then the second thing is he's going

00:20:09.940 to follow up with additional meetings, which is going to be important, with Zelensky and Putin.

00:20:16.820 The timing of those, I'm not certain, but, you know, the president has clearly laid out there's going to be a

00:20:20.980 series of meetings to try and get this resolved as quickly as he can.

00:20:29.120 Great. Derek Harvey, I've never gotten a chance to congratulate you on your position, special

00:20:34.980 assistant to the President of the United States after serving our country in the armed forces. So

00:20:40.880 thank you for your service, and congratulations on your new position. And on the show, you get into

00:20:46.760 intelligence issues quite a bit. We got Sam Faddis coming up. I'm going to ask you both an impossible

00:20:52.280 question that's kind of leading, but I just kind of want to get your response. It just seems that

00:20:57.280 there's so much of these conspiracies that are lining up, and they're no longer conspiracies. The

00:21:02.940 evidence is coming in from Tulsi Gabbard going to grand juries. And I could just read off a list.

00:21:09.840 The Nixon case, we've got Michael Patrick Leahy and Jeff Shepard coming up next with some receipts

00:21:16.360 there. JFK recently released new files from our CIA, from John Ratcliffe. Biden laptop, Biden checks,

00:21:27.720 Hillary bleach bit, and Hillary foundation. New receipts coming in in the last week. Federal

00:21:35.020 reserve, 2008 banking crisis, no one goes to jail. That one's totally unresolved. No one goes to jail.

00:21:41.240 Big pharma, Fauci, RFK Jr., the CIA, 70 coup de tas, USAID media funded, CIA cutouts at every turn.

00:21:53.040 Why don't you just, it seems that we need some new vocabulary. I apologize, folks, they installed some

00:21:59.600 new technology in my office today. But it seems like we need some new terminology for what has

00:22:07.160 been going on in this country, this total loss of institutional credibility. The receipts are in,

00:22:13.520 Bannon called his show this morning, seizing the institutions for this reason. How do you

00:22:19.020 characterize this 50-year swath of corruption from the deep state up in D.C. with our elites and the

00:22:27.000 establishment who are supposed to be lead us in the right direction? Derek Harvey.

00:22:31.680 Well, I call it abdication of the leadership of the Congress. And, you know, that's both sides,

00:22:38.720 the Senate and the House of Representatives, of their oversight. And they've passed the buck to allow

00:22:43.560 far too much autonomy and decision-making for the execution and implementation of rules

00:22:50.320 across the departments and agencies and also for the executive branch. But, you know, just even

00:22:57.860 recently, you didn't mention the COVID, you know, disinformation, the January 6th information that's

00:23:04.820 rolling now that we're getting from the others here. There's the, you know, election information that

00:23:12.880 Tulsi has laid out. And I just go back, and Sam Faddis can talk about this, but, you know,

00:23:19.320 Eisenhower warned about this, but we've just built up more institutions with the D&I and the Department

00:23:26.400 of Homeland Security and the Patriot Act and others that have empowered unaccountable people,

00:23:32.380 okay? And I just leave it with this. Durham, in his report, he said there are no need for

00:23:38.760 recommendations for changes because no one is conducting, I'm paraphrasing, no one's conducting

00:23:44.280 oversight, no one's enforcing the laws, the rules, and the policies that have been in place, you know,

00:23:51.380 to make sure that the system works the way it's supposed to, honestly, with integrity. So why

00:23:56.420 should I make any recommendations? Wow. Yeah, that's just a stunning admission.

00:24:03.420 Colonel Derek Harvey, thanks for being with us today on The War Room. Congratulations on your new

00:24:07.660 position, serving the country as you always have. God bless you. Keep up the great work, and hope to talk

00:24:12.520 to you soon. Thank you. God bless you. You bet. All right, Sam Faddis with us, former CIA operative.

00:24:22.080 Sam, why don't you just follow up with the same logic? How do you characterize this long, long

00:24:28.020 laundry list? Now, they're not conspiracies. They're not theories. They're not conjecture.

00:24:32.840 We have evidence and the receipts. The mainstream media won't ever tell you about that when they just

00:24:38.500 make fun of Tulsi and says she's making groundless claims. She's handed in hundreds and hundreds and

00:24:42.640 hundreds of pages across the board. And so how do you characterize this last 50-year period?

00:24:48.060 And, you know, Steve Bannon earlier in the day was talking about seizing the institution. So

00:24:51.940 put it all together for us. How do the American people understand what has happened to this great

00:24:57.280 country, and how do we clean it up?

00:24:58.740 Look, we have allowed the creation, the growth of a completely extra-constitutional,

00:25:08.880 at a minimum, fourth branch of government unaccountable to the American people. And on

00:25:14.860 any given day, the folks that really run the country and have been running the country for a long time

00:25:20.900 are in that fourth branch of government, that fourth branch of government being

00:25:25.500 all of these giant government agencies. And look, I have nothing but respect for a lot of the folks,

00:25:33.680 the rank and file in places like CIA, FBI, outdoing dangerous work and, you know, putting their lives

00:25:42.420 on the line. But certainly in the top ranks of these organizations, you got folks that have lost the

00:25:49.240 bubble. And they now believe they rule the country. And they're not really, it's not just nobody's

00:25:58.200 holding them. I mean, nobody is holding them accountable. And they certainly do not believe

00:26:02.380 they are accountable. And increasingly, they go to Washington and spend their entire lives

00:26:09.100 in Washington. So it's 40 years later, and you're a clapper at the top of one of these agencies.

00:26:16.300 And when Trump wins in 2016, he famously expresses shock at the disconnect between the average

00:26:25.120 American and Washington, D.C. And what you're thinking is, well, did you ever get in a car and drive

00:26:32.600 anywhere outside the Beltway and like talk to anybody? You drive through Pennsylvania, where I live,

00:26:39.300 and look at all the closed mills and everybody's shopping in the dollar store? Like, no, you didn't.

00:26:46.220 So it is not just out of touch. It believes it is above and beyond the Constitution. And

00:26:55.200 I've certainly had this conversation with you and with Steve. These guys at the top here,

00:27:01.320 the folks that put together what amounts to a nine-year-long coup against Donald Trump,

00:27:06.980 they have no intention of going quietly into the night. I mean, if you think that you put two guys

00:27:14.080 at the top of CIA, Ratcliffe and his deputy, and now you have transformed that agency and you're in

00:27:22.760 control of it, I don't know what to say to you. You're living in another dimension. That is not a

00:27:28.480 condemnation of everybody at CIA. It's just to say that place is filled with, at the senior levels,

00:27:33.960 folks that were put there by somebody like John Brennan. And still, even if they don't take

00:27:41.200 direct orders from Brennan, are in fact pursuing his agenda. So we got a lot of work to do and a lot

00:27:49.940 of house cleaning. Yeah. Back with Sam Faddis after the break. We're going to follow up there.

00:27:55.760 It appears, you know, these Epstein files caught everybody. And the big issue there is everyone's

00:28:03.300 blackmailing everybody. And that's why it seems that they can't go in and clean house at the CIA

00:28:07.400 or the FBI or the State Department. If you wipe out the top levels, you get threats with blackmail

00:28:14.220 of every sort. And so we're going to ask Sam Faddis about that after the break. So stay tuned to the

00:28:20.480 War Room back with Sam Faddis, former CIA operative, War Room favorite.

00:30:50.320 and they will give you that assurance. Great, great company, great supporters of the War Room,

00:30:57.200 so help support them as well. All right, back in the War Room with the great Sam Faddis,

00:31:02.060 former CIA operative. And so we were just chatting over this list of the horribles,

00:31:08.320 the receipts we have on all these conspiracies. And Sam, you have a lifetime here with expertise.

00:31:15.060 Is there any way, how do you think about, is there any way you categorize this, a list of criteria?

00:31:20.300 What is the most serious of these cases that face this country? Because it's overwhelming.

00:31:26.880 So what do we tackle first? What's the first level significance for our country?

00:31:32.380 I think you got to jump on the stuff that's the most immediate. And in other words, we got nine

00:31:37.660 years of, in various iterations, what amounts to a coup against Donald Trump, an attempt to subvert

00:31:45.900 the Constitution. But, you know, agencies trying to decide that they get to choose who's allowed to

00:31:53.560 sit in the White House. We got to attack that. And we got to hold people responsible. And that isn't

00:31:58.520 charging John Brennan with perjury. I'm talking significant charges, felonies, convictions,

00:32:06.400 and imprisonment. And by the way, that will not be easy. That will take massive resources. Let's focus

00:32:13.500 on the immediate issue. We can get around to asking CIA where these files about the JFK assassination

00:32:20.040 have been for 50 years, whatever it is, more than that now, later. But right now, we got to do that.

00:32:28.280 And we have to get control of these institutions. Again, I mean, with all respect for Director

00:32:34.880 Ratcliffe at CIA, again, using CIA only as an example, he should have fired every top executive

00:32:40.580 on the seventh floor, day one, before he sat down in his chair. That's the reality.

00:32:46.880 Yep. That's the, I know, it makes the American people scratch their head.

00:32:51.580 Let's go to the current news of the day. We covered with Colonel Harvey as well. But Russia

00:32:58.160 discussions today, Trump with Zelensky. Zelensky saying, I'm not compromised. We're not moving any

00:33:05.040 lines with respect to Ukraine. Of course, that's not the case. Russia's winning easily.

00:33:10.840 And the question in my mind, and most people I think that are saying is whether it's Kiev or not

00:33:16.000 Kiev, right? That's more the question. If he thinks he's going to run this war forever,

00:33:20.460 he's going to lose his whole country. And I don't think that's going to happen. And so

00:33:24.380 Colonel Harvey said there'll be enough international pressure against him, but the UK and France are

00:33:30.100 still supporting him. But I think Trump wants a deal now, and he's got the call Friday with Putin.

00:33:35.940 And so how do you see closure coming about here?

00:33:40.500 Well, look, as you've, as you've noted, Zelensky's writing checks. He can't cash,

00:33:44.080 right? He's way out over his skis. The guy's, well, I don't know that he ever had a mind. He's

00:33:49.200 lost his mind. Okay. You, you are going to make the decisions all by yourself. Well,

00:33:55.620 you aren't fighting the war by yourself, buddy. And if you were in it by yourself,

00:33:59.480 the Russians would have been in Kiev years ago. So the reality is you're going to have to face 0.69

00:34:06.420 what the facts here. The facts are, you're going to have a peace treaty and pieces of Ukraine

00:34:14.920 currently occupied by Russia will continue to be occupied by Russia. Exactly what Donald Trump said.

00:34:22.240 Now, does that mean every square inch the Russians occupy right now, you have to give up on? That's 0.81

00:34:27.720 not what I'm saying. I'm saying you will not get all that territory back. That's the reality. And

00:34:33.600 look, the Europeans can do what they do best, which is talk a lot. But if Zelensky thinks he's

00:34:42.020 going on his own without us and the Europeans, he's toast. He's done. The entire British army has a 0.96

00:34:49.420 grand total of 17,000 deployable guys. The Russians will kill that many in a month. So that's where we 0.95

00:34:58.060 are. What happens to Zelensky? I don't know. Maybe somebody in Ukraine topples him and that's not

00:35:05.420 code for the CIA. Maybe, maybe there are people in Ukraine who say we're done with you. Maybe one

00:35:11.140 day you find Zelensky got on a plane and disappeared the UAE where he's apparently been sending money for

00:35:17.000 some period of time. I don't know, but I do know he's got a wake up call coming. He, he has to accept

00:35:23.340 the, in the real world, he will not get all of his territory back. I'm not a fan of Putin's. I'm just

00:35:30.280 telling you what we, what, what the reality is, what the facts are. Yeah. Yeah. In a, in a closing

00:35:36.760 minute, Sam, uh, you know, the populist base, uh, beg everyone watching this show is scratching their

00:35:44.680 head on this one. They say, why doesn't Trump just take back all of the satellite stuff, all the

00:35:49.020 weapon, we stop all the everything and it's over. And that big mouth can be quiet a little bit.

00:35:54.520 Why hasn't that happened? Well, because obviously there are implications for us, unfortunately,

00:36:01.380 because even though Trump wasn't in office, the United States provided all this. The, the spectacle

00:36:06.820 of the United States taking everything, walking away and letting Ukraine just simply fall to the 0.82

00:36:12.600 Russians completely has implications for us all over the world. Just like us fleeing Afghanistan.

00:36:18.740 So, you know, we're stuck to that extent, but I expect some really hard-nosed conversations

00:36:24.660 between our guys and Zelensky. And I expect some seniors, Ukrainians telling Zelensky, 0.98

00:36:31.980 Hey man, I don't know what you're thinking, but if the Americans walk, I'm packing up my family 1.00

00:36:37.960 and going because the Russians will drive to Kiev in about two days. Yeah. Yep. All right. Sam

00:36:44.900 fan. It's a very wise man with always sober analysis. Uh, I, I, I love having them on. Uh,

00:36:52.060 it's just refreshing hearing a very mature voice on very tough issues, uh, that some people are just,

00:36:58.120 you know, slight and don't give them serious consideration. So Sam, thanks always for your

00:37:01.880 hard work and, uh, your, your super analysis on the war room. God bless you. Thank you.

00:37:05.980 Thank you, sir. Thanks for having me. You bet. Always, always. All right, uh, folks,

00:37:11.560 you're in for a treat right now. We're going to go to a bit of a cold open here, uh, to set up the

00:37:16.400 Nixon conspiracy and wait till you hear this story. This will blow your mind as well. Fire it up.

00:37:22.360 Secret meetings between judges and prosecutors, evidence hidden from defense attorneys,

00:37:27.460 biased juries, and unaccountable prosecution force packed with political enemies,

00:37:31.580 congressional leaders who are out to get the president and a dishonest media. This is how

00:37:36.640 the deep state took down a president and created the playbook they've used ever since.

00:37:42.940 All right. It's an honor to, uh, I, I'm not introducing them. Michael Patrick Leahy and Jeff

00:37:48.900 Shepard, uh, to the war room. They're on with Steve yesterday, uh, on this Nixon conspiracy.

00:37:54.900 Uh, thank you gentlemen for being on. If you don't know Michael Patrick Leahy, uh, he's been a mega

00:38:00.400 populist, uh, soldier for decades. He helped me way back when I was a rookie liberal arts college

00:38:07.060 professor in economics and, uh, was a voice of, uh, strength and, and, and a solid foundation and

00:38:14.740 cheerleader for me. So he's a good friend as well. And, uh, boy, does this story, it just fits. It's

00:38:20.740 so overwhelming. There's so many similarities and commonalities between, uh, the movie you have

00:38:26.900 and, and today, everything we've covered on the show today, this list of horribles.

00:38:31.540 And so, uh, Michael, why don't you just tee us off? First of all, tell everybody, uh, where do they

00:38:36.300 find this movie? Folks go watch this thing because, uh, you got to educate your family, your kids,

00:38:41.440 the war room, the posse, everybody needs to learn all this stuff. History matters. Uh, Michael fire away.

00:38:48.240 Uh, the documentary is, uh, from war room films and you can go right now to war room.film war room.film

00:38:59.000 and you can just put your email address in and download the entire one hour and 30 minute

00:39:04.640 documentary. How the deep state took down Richard Nixon. We, uh, announced this launched it yesterday

00:39:12.100 morning on Bannon's war room. And guess what? We've had in 24 hours, Dave, we've had over 13,000 downloads.

00:39:21.540 I don't know how many we're going to have now, but we this afternoon, uh, uh, sent out an email to all

00:39:27.900 13,000 who've downloaded it. And we want to get your reviews of this documentary. We'll publish them.

00:39:34.680 And if you want to send me on X, your review, just go to Michael P. Leahy. So here's the deal. Uh,

00:39:41.300 I have interviewed on my radio program, uh, about a year and a half ago, uh, my good friend,

00:39:47.720 Jeff Shepard. Jeff was, uh, in the Nixon white house. He was a Harvard law school graduate.

00:39:53.580 And, uh, his first job was as a white house fellow. Then he spent five years, uh, as an attorney

00:39:59.460 in the Nixon white house. He transcribed, transcribed the smoking gun tape. He spent

00:40:05.460 more than, uh, 20 years writing and researching about it. And we discovered something that is

00:40:13.060 really amazing. No one else has ever reported this, Dave Bratt. Uh, there are at least a dozen

00:40:19.680 due process violations for Watergate defendants and Richard Nixon's that are egregious. For instance,

00:40:27.500 the secret meetings where the judge John Sirica, uh, talked and strategized with the special

00:40:34.800 prosecutor, Leon Jaworski. That's just one example of it. And then what was really stunning

00:40:41.200 was, uh, uh, uh, that, uh, Jeff told me about the role that John Dean really played. And this

00:40:47.700 might be a good time for Jeff to come in and talk about John Dean that he knew. Yeah. Well,

00:40:54.140 first Mike go Sirica and Jaworski. Why does that matter? The people are listening. So what

00:40:59.340 happened? What's so bad? And then we'll go to Jeff. Yeah. Well, look, if, if you are charged

00:41:05.160 with a crime, you have certain fifth amendment due process rights and, and a fair trial from

00:41:09.900 an unbiased judge is part of that. And, uh, it is absolutely unfair for the judge to meet secretly

00:41:18.280 with the prosecutor and not have your defense attorney there. That is, that is the epitome

00:41:24.260 of unfairness. And that's what happened as part of this process.

00:41:29.300 Yeah. Unreal. All right, Jeff, uh, you got two minutes, uh, to make drop a couple bombs. So,

00:41:34.700 uh, give us your best smoking guns quick, and we'll come back to you guys right after the break.

00:41:39.160 Sure. Uh, there are four phrases today that are bandied about with, with regard to Trump,

00:41:43.940 uh, uh, deep state, uh, false narrative, fake news, and most of all lawfare. Uh, but those things

00:41:50.900 existed, uh, uh, during Watergate. We just didn't know the bottom. We had different names for them,

00:41:56.440 but they've started to come out and, and what they show is the prosecutors and, and the, uh, judges

00:42:03.700 and the Eastern liberal establishment hated Nixon so much. They were willing to cheat to drive him out

00:42:10.800 of office. Uh, you can imagine that because you can, you can tell the hatred for Donald Trump today.

00:42:17.540 I mean, seething hatred by lots of people. And you can imagine a situation where those people would

00:42:26.300 be perfectly willing to cheat, to keep him from power, to throw him out of office. That's what we

00:42:32.880 have discovered happened during Watergate. We didn't know it at the time. The top four prosecutors

00:42:39.440 took their records with them home when they left office. And that hid the impropriety. But there is

00:42:47.920 a paper trail. These meetings between Judge Sirica and the special prosecutor, we can account for about

00:42:54.800 10 of them. Now, it wasn't just a chance happening where they talked strategy. They talked about rulings

00:43:02.720 that were going to come before Sirica for decision. And they met secretly in advance to brief him.

00:43:10.320 And they left a paper trail. So the, the issue is not, were there these secret meetings? Was there

00:43:16.560 suppression of evidence? We've got the memos. We can say, well, do they accurately describe it? But,

00:43:22.960 but you can't, nobody. Jeff, Jeff, right back, right back with more analysis with Michael and Jeff,

00:43:30.320 uh, just unbelievable breaking news again on Nixon this time back after the break.

00:44:56.400 Here's your host, Stephen K. Bannon.

00:44:58.880 All right, back in the war room on Nixon with the great Leahy and Shepard with us. They just gave a

00:45:13.580 great summary of what's going on today with their comments on Nixon. The Democrats' heads popping off,

00:45:19.440 seething, seething in anger. Just watch Joan Meek every morning and watch Steve in the cold opens that

00:45:24.940 they put together. They're just tremendous. And then the Republicans on Nixon backstabbing him.

00:45:31.240 He had no friends there. I mean, you want to talk about the Uniparty. I don't know if it was the

00:45:36.840 Uniparty back then, but just the establishment. Nixon, by the way, won the presidency with 500

00:45:43.860 electoral votes. A stunning win with the American people behind him. A simple Quaker guy. He's a very 0.98

00:45:51.260 smart guy. And so I don't know how all this happens. But Michael, why don't you, anything

00:45:57.920 you want to say on Nixon first? He didn't have many friends on the Republican side. He got backstabbed.

00:46:03.200 And then Woodward and Bernstein, you know, I understand they're the greatest journalists that

00:46:08.440 have ever lived. What's the part of them in this story here? Well, let's talk about Woodward and

00:46:14.180 Bernstein. Of course, Woodward knew Mark Felt for a couple of years before when Woodward was briefing

00:46:22.140 the National Security Council on Navy matters. So they'd known each other for a couple of years.

00:46:28.900 After the break-in on June 17, 1972, Woodward got the story for the Washington Post. One of the first

00:46:37.400 things he did, he called up his buddy, Mark Felt, and Felt basically told him what was going on.

00:46:44.660 It was really egregious in how he handled that at that time. Then a couple of months later,

00:46:51.560 Woodward and Bernstein secured the names of the grand jurors in the Watergate grand jury

00:46:57.020 and talked to them. That's illegal to do, but they did it and got away with it.

00:47:01.820 Oh, they lied about it. They claimed their source, and if you read their book,

00:47:08.700 their inside scoop on the Watergate grand jury, they claimed their source was a secretary with the

00:47:14.680 Nixon campaign. That wasn't true. They misled everybody about this. Nobody knew this,

00:47:19.800 but they talked to a grand juror. Bernstein wrote seven pages in a memo to Bradley,

00:47:25.320 and 40 years later, it was discovered and was only recently reported.

00:47:28.440 Unbelievable. By the way, we're very thankful to you, both of you, for the research here. This is

00:47:36.240 not easy, folks. You just don't go Google this stuff. This is painstaking research over decades.

00:47:41.760 Jeff, Elliot Richardson, I hear there's a sub-story there. Why don't you give us that one?

00:47:47.840 Well, there certainly is. You talk about backstabbing. When Nixon brought in a new crew to clean house

00:47:54.480 after Watergate, he asked Elliot Richardson to be attorney general because he wasn't involved at

00:47:59.740 all. But Elliot had designs of running for president someday and certainly didn't want to get involved

00:48:06.240 in Watergate. So he merrily gave away, during his confirmation, gave away any oversight for the

00:48:13.960 Watergate investigations and prosecutions, and gave it over to one of the most prominent Democrats,

00:48:21.160 to Archibald Cox, and the creation, just like what happened with Trump, brand new people,

00:48:27.700 unconfirmed by the Senate, the hiring of a special set of dedicated anti-Nixon people.

00:48:36.400 The Watergate Special Prosecution Force ultimately totaled 156 employees, specially hired,

00:48:44.820 having nothing to do with statutorily established organization or Senate-confirmed leadership.

00:48:51.860 I mean, it was just astonishing, all because Elliot Richardson didn't want to be involved.

00:48:58.120 Unbelievable. Hey, Michael, close us out in one minute. Give us the connections to today. John

00:49:04.620 Solomon had some great reporting as well of what happened that drove Nixon from office. Today seems like

00:49:12.360 a misdemeanor. It's not even clear in your story here how complicit Nixon was in anything. And yet

00:49:19.900 we have major conspiracies of treason involving several current presidents and the receipts to

00:49:25.460 match. So sum it up in 30 seconds to a minute and link people to your documentary. And thanks for

00:49:31.860 being with us.

00:49:32.400 All three branches of the government worked to undermine and take down Nixon, executive,

00:49:38.860 judiciary, and legislative. And the media did it as well. And you can see all this in our documentary

00:49:45.280 for free for the next two weeks. Go to warroom.film, warroom.film. Put your name and email address in,

00:52:09.940 Liberty University a couple of years ago. I got my Liberty University shirt on. I'm going around

00:52:13.940 the country, uh, giving talks, but Mike did a, uh, about a 10,000 pillow delivery to Liberty

00:52:19.980 University. I think he wanted to have the biggest pillow drop, but there were some lawyers involved

00:52:25.100 in that. But, uh, Mike, thank you for all your work. I had a last, uh, last 10 second blurb.
