Bannon's War Room - Episode 4772： Charlie Kirks Assassin： Domestic Terrorist Antifa Supporter Caught

00:00:00.000 It is Friday, 12 September in the year of our Lord, 2025.

00:00:15.400 You're watching a live shot of the press conference that's about to start here momentarily.

00:00:22.080 FBI Director Cash Patel, former contributor and co-host of the show, and of course the

00:00:28.260 great Dan Bongino.

00:00:30.500 They'll be leading this today with other law enforcement officials.

00:00:34.060 You remember from the press conference last night, they put the video out.

00:00:37.860 It looks like they have a suspect in custody coming off of that press conference and the

00:00:43.660 footage.

00:00:44.660 The great Matt Boyle joins me.

00:00:46.760 Matt, we're going to go to this live as soon as it starts.

00:00:50.660 It's supposed to start at 9 Eastern Daylight Time.

00:00:54.980 They backed it up 30 minutes.

00:00:56.140 Now they've backed up another 30.

00:00:58.380 Obviously they're pulling things together.

00:01:00.080 Any thoughts?

00:01:01.080 Observation?

00:01:02.080 By the way, Jack Posobiec is going to join us after this press conference about the suspect

00:01:05.780 and custody and all the details.

00:01:08.480 And then Alex Jones is going to be with us at 11 o'clock.

00:01:13.380 Matt Boyle, any thoughts from overnight?

00:01:15.880 Of course, a lot of vitriol on the left against Charlie Kirk.

00:01:19.500 We've been monitoring that closely.

00:01:21.600 Any thoughts, sir?

00:01:22.600 Yeah, well, look, I think the big story that we're seeing play out over the last couple

00:01:27.300 of days is that what you see from the radical left, what you see from, frankly, a major cross-section

00:01:36.720 of the Democrat Party's base is that there are a lot of people out there spewing their talking points,

00:01:46.200 which is that they keep saying that Charlie Kirk was a racist or he's anti-Semitic or a Nazi or something like that,

00:01:54.400 almost to attempt to justify this terrible killing that we've seen.

00:02:03.100 I think that the Democrat Party is currently leaderless, right?

00:02:07.020 They don't have a national leader.

00:02:09.140 You know, they have different elected officials and whatnot, but they do not have a leader.

00:02:13.960 The closest thing they have to a leader is former President Barack Obama.

00:02:17.560 I think it's incumbent upon Obama if he believes any of the pablum he told America to win the election in 2008

00:02:25.480 and then again in 2012 about hope, change, and a better way and whatnot forward,

00:02:31.020 that Obama himself needs to come forward and tell Democrats across the party, elected officials,

00:02:38.160 people in their base, etc., to stop. He needs to tell them to stop calling people Nazis, racists, etc., if they disagree.

00:02:48.780 Disagreement is the most American thing we can have, right?

00:02:52.700 Like, Charlie Kirk was literally killed while debating. He was assassinated while debating.

00:02:58.080 That is the most American thing in the world. And frankly, you saw the person who was debating him come out on CNN last night

00:03:04.500 and talk about this in that, you know, he's saying the point he was trying to make was that the left is peaceful.

00:03:11.600 Well, the left is not peaceful right now because of the fact that these people have been conditioned by Democrat Party leaders

00:03:20.580 to believe that people like us, Steve, right, like you, me, the Breitbart crew, Charlie Kirk, etc., 0.67

00:03:28.620 all the people across the right are a bunch of Nazis. That's not true, obviously.

00:03:33.000 So I think it's incumbent upon Barack Obama himself to come forward and to address this stuff directly and to tell his people to stop this.

00:03:46.400 I would be willing to, if he would be willing to, interview Barack Obama about this.

00:03:51.380 I'll do it today. I'll do it this weekend, next week, whenever he's ready.

00:03:55.480 I don't think he has the moral courage necessary to do so.

00:03:59.040 But the fact is, is that I think it's them in particular, and it's the Democrats.

00:04:05.840 So it's, you know, I saw Will Cain out there today saying, like, you know, he's trying to dismiss these posts that you see from people,

00:04:13.000 teachers, people in the military.

00:04:16.180 There was an assistant dean at a Tennessee college, etc.

00:04:19.140 I'll tell you what, Matt, hang on for one second.

00:04:21.440 The officials are coming, Cash are coming.

00:04:24.860 Tyler Robinson appears to be in custody, 22-year-olds from Utah.

00:04:28.460 Here we go live.

00:04:29.240 At today's press conference, we will hear from Governor Cox, FBI Director Cash Patel, and Sheriff Mike Smith.

00:04:37.740 We also have with us Utah DPS Commissioner Bo Mason, Lieutenant Governor Deidre Henderson, FBI Special Agent in Charge Robert Bowles,

00:04:49.160 and local and federal law enforcement partners.

00:04:52.420 Following the remarks today, Governor Cox, Director Patel, and Commissioner Mason will take questions.

00:04:57.980 Thank you.

00:04:58.380 Thank you.

00:04:59.380 Thank you.

00:05:07.740 Good morning, ladies and gentlemen.

00:05:22.480 We got him.

00:05:24.420 On the evening of September 11th, a family member of Tyler Robinson reached out to a family friend

00:05:31.260 who contacted the Washington County Sheriff's Office with information that Robinson had confessed to them

00:05:37.400 or implied that he had committed the incident.

00:05:40.660 This information was relayed to the Utah County Sheriff's Office and seen investigators at Utah Valley University.

00:05:47.160 This information was also conveyed to the FBI.

00:05:50.780 Investigators reviewed additional video footage from UVU surveillance

00:05:55.320 and identified Robinson arriving on UVU campus in a gray Dodge Challenger at approximately 8.29 a.m. on September 10th,

00:06:04.600 in which he is observed on video in a plain maroon t-shirt, light-colored shorts, a black hat with a white logo, and light-colored shoes.

00:06:13.780 When encountered in person by investigators in Washington County on September 12th in the early morning hours,

00:06:19.180 Robinson was observed in consistent clothing with those surveillance images.

00:06:24.180 Investigators interviewed a family member of Robinson who stated that Robinson had become more political in recent years.

00:06:32.500 The family member referenced a recent incident in which Robinson came to dinner prior to September 10th,

00:06:38.420 and in the conversation with another family member, Robinson mentioned Charlie Kirk was coming to UVU.

00:06:45.580 They talked about why they didn't like him and the viewpoints that he had.

00:06:49.400 The family member also stated Kirk was full of hate and spreading hate.

00:06:54.180 The family member also confirmed Robinson had a gray Dodge Challenger.

00:06:59.360 Investigators identified an individual as the roommate of Robinson.

00:07:03.640 Investigators interviewed that roommate who stated that his roommate, referring to Robinson, made a joke on Discord.

00:07:10.980 Investigators asked if he would show them the messages on Discord.

00:07:13.680 He opened it and showed several messages to investigators and allowed investigators to take photos of the screen

00:07:20.080 as each message was shown as each message was shown by Robinson's roommate.

00:07:23.120 These photos consisted of various messages, including content of messages between the phone contact name Tyler with an emoji icon and Robinson's roommate's device.

00:07:34.400 The content of these messages included messages affiliated with the contact Tyler stating a need to retrieve a rifle from a drop point,

00:07:45.320 leaving the rifle in a bush, messages related to visually watching the area where a rifle was left,

00:07:53.500 and a message referring to having left the rifle wrapped in a towel.

00:07:58.400 The messages also refer to engraving bullets and a mention of a scope and the rifle being unique.

00:08:06.900 Messages from the contact Tyler also mentioned that he had changed outfits.

00:08:12.720 I know there has been speculation as well as to the writing on those casings, those bullet casings,

00:08:25.720 and I believe we have that as well.

00:08:29.560 And I will share that with you now.

00:08:31.060 So the area north of Campus Drive Road where the suspect crossed over, you saw some of that in the video that we released last night,

00:08:41.980 consists of a grassy area with trees on the edge of the UVU campus.

00:08:46.540 Investigators discovered a bolt-action rifle wrapped in a dark-colored towel.

00:08:51.460 The rifle was determined to be a Mauser Model 98 .30-06 caliber bolt-action rifle.

00:08:57.940 The rifle had a scope mounted on top of it.

00:09:01.340 Investigators noted inscriptions that had been engraved on casings found with the rifle.

00:09:07.260 Inscriptions on a fired casing read,

00:09:10.700 Notices Bulges, capital O-W-O, what's this question mark?

00:09:16.580 Inscriptions on the three unfired casings read, 0.84

00:09:19.940 Hey, fascist! 0.51

00:09:20.820 Exclamation point. 0.99

00:09:22.260 Catch! 0.60

00:09:22.820 Exclamation point.

00:09:23.700 Up arrow symbol, right arrow symbol, and three down arrow symbols.

00:09:30.820 A second unfired casing read,

00:09:33.080 Oh, Bella Chow, Bella Chow, Bella Chow, Chow, Chow, Chow.

00:09:36.920 And a third unfired casing read,

00:09:39.560 If you read this, 1.00

00:09:40.680 You Are Gay, L-M-A-O. 1.00

00:09:43.000 We are indebted to law enforcement across the state who has worked seamlessly together, 1.00

00:09:52.900 local law enforcement, state law enforcement,

00:09:55.500 and our federal partners with the Federal Bureau of Investigation.

00:09:59.440 We're grateful for everyone who worked together in such a short amount of time

00:10:04.820 to find this person and to bring justice.

00:10:11.880 I want to thank the public who has been so engaged,

00:10:14.840 reviewing videos,

00:10:17.040 helping us with sending in tips,

00:10:20.040 and helping us get to this point.

00:10:21.880 I want to thank the family members of Tyler Robinson who did the right thing in this case

00:10:30.300 and were able to bring him into law enforcement as well.

00:10:36.600 I especially want to thank the family of Charlie Kirk,

00:10:43.640 Erica, Charlie's parents, his children.

00:10:47.020 I want us to be thinking of them as we bring justice in this case.

00:10:52.540 They will be involved in that justice.

00:10:55.160 We will be working very closely with them as we move through this process as well.

00:11:01.000 This is a very sad day for, again, for our country,

00:11:05.540 a terrible day for the state of Utah.

00:11:08.500 But I'm grateful that at this moment,

00:11:11.060 we have an opportunity to bring closure to this very dark chapter in our nation's history.

00:11:17.020 With that, I will now turn the microphone over to the director of the FBI, Kash Patel.

00:11:28.000 Thank you, Governor.

00:11:30.460 This is what happens when you let good cops be cops.

00:11:34.160 The FBI and our partners are proud to stand here today together

00:11:37.360 to bring justice to the family of Charlie Kirk and honor his memory.

00:11:41.640 I want to express my deep gratitude to President Trump,

00:11:44.100 the vice president, and the entire White House

00:11:46.160 who have been so incredibly supportive with both resources

00:11:49.060 and just personally to the FBI as a team.

00:11:51.540 They had our backs the entire way,

00:11:53.400 and I just want to express my gratitude for giving us the resources

00:11:56.400 we need to operate in this space

00:11:58.720 to bring this sort of justice at this sort of speed.

00:12:02.040 In 33 hours, we have made historic progress for Charlie.

00:12:06.700 Governor Cox,

00:12:08.140 our partnership has been absolutely incredible these last few days.

00:12:13.600 Our partnership will endure.

00:12:15.720 Your state and local partners,

00:12:17.200 your sheriffs,

00:12:17.920 your DPS community

00:12:18.960 has been unbelievably impressive

00:12:21.660 in the hardest of times.

00:12:23.860 And a case like this cannot be solved,

00:12:25.800 cannot be brought

00:12:26.520 without partnering with your state and local authorities.

00:12:29.760 The FBI has a certain role to play,

00:12:31.260 and we will play that role,

00:12:32.700 and we will lead out for the federal government.

00:12:34.620 But Governor Cox,

00:12:35.240 we are so grateful for your state partnership

00:12:37.560 that led out on this investigation.

00:12:39.460 A little bit of the timeline.

00:12:43.080 Charlie was shot at 12.23 p.m. on Wednesday.

00:12:46.740 The first FBI agents arrived on scene in 16 minutes

00:12:50.360 with chiefs of police at 12.39

00:12:52.620 and secured the scene.

00:12:55.480 The FBI immediately launched fixed-wing assets.

00:12:58.800 We utilize these assets to transport personnel,

00:13:02.080 specialty technicians, hostage rescue teams.

00:13:04.560 We also utilize these assets to go back and forth

00:13:07.000 from the East Coast and here in Utah

00:13:08.660 to transport forensic evidence

00:13:10.260 and other evidence that will be analyzed

00:13:12.040 and is being analyzed

00:13:13.080 at our FBI laboratories in Quantico

00:13:15.000 and other laboratories, including the ATF.

00:13:18.460 At my direction,

00:13:19.500 the FBI released the first set of FBI photos

00:13:21.720 of the suspect at 10 a.m. local time on 9-11.

00:13:26.480 Then, shortly thereafter,

00:13:28.320 the FBI reward of $100,000

00:13:29.920 was released at 10.45 a.m. local.

00:13:34.160 Myself and Deputy Director Bongino

00:13:35.820 arrived on the scene

00:13:36.660 at approximately 5.30 p.m. on 9-11.

00:13:40.480 The governor led a press conference last night

00:13:42.820 at approximately 8 p.m.,

00:13:45.820 where, at my direction,

00:13:47.300 the FBI released a never-before-seen video

00:13:49.660 of the suspect.

00:13:51.320 We also released new images

00:13:54.040 to the public of the suspect.

00:13:56.920 And just last night,

00:13:59.280 the suspect was taken into custody

00:14:01.160 at 10 p.m. local time.

00:14:03.560 In less than 36 hours,

00:14:05.980 33 to be precise,

00:14:08.120 thanks to the full weight

00:14:09.400 of the federal government

00:14:10.760 and leading out with the partners here

00:14:12.760 in the state of Utah and Governor Cox,

00:14:15.020 the suspect was apprehended

00:14:16.700 in a historic time period.

00:14:18.900 And I want to highlight

00:14:19.880 what Governor Cox said.

00:14:21.000 This would not have been possible

00:14:22.020 without you, the media,

00:14:23.340 and you, the public.

00:14:24.620 That's why we went so public,

00:14:26.280 so fast,

00:14:27.140 and we're so transparent,

00:14:28.380 and we're committed

00:14:28.900 to that transparency.

00:14:31.460 The crime scene,

00:14:32.500 just a little bit there.

00:14:33.340 It is a large crime scene.

00:14:35.480 State and local authorities,

00:14:36.580 along with federal authorities,

00:14:37.720 processed that crime scene quickly.

00:14:39.940 And I even had the ability

00:14:44.460 to walk through that crime scene

00:14:46.760 and walk through the steps

00:14:48.660 the suspect took

00:14:50.120 to learn more about what was needed

00:14:52.240 and what resources we needed to bear

00:14:53.820 to create a full picture

00:14:55.220 for the FBI

00:14:55.900 and leadership back in Washington.

00:14:58.540 Furthermore,

00:14:59.460 thankfully to state and local partners,

00:15:01.040 forensic evidence has been seized

00:15:02.520 and continues to be garnered.

00:15:05.040 Forensic evidence

00:15:05.540 has already been evaluated.

00:15:07.080 FBI laboratories in Quantico

00:15:08.340 and state and local authorities here.

00:15:09.960 We will continue to process evidence

00:15:11.820 as we see it,

00:15:12.980 as we collect it,

00:15:13.880 and we will continue to deliver

00:15:15.060 to Governor Cox and his team.

00:15:18.500 Last night,

00:15:19.180 we had a total of approximately

00:15:20.120 7,000 interviews,

00:15:21.180 excuse me, 7,000 leads.

00:15:23.400 As of this morning,

00:15:24.620 thanks to your great work,

00:15:26.280 we have over 11,000 leads

00:15:28.500 that were called in to the FBI.

00:15:30.660 And we are running out

00:15:31.640 every single lead that we can.

00:15:34.220 Every one of those leads

00:15:35.400 will be run out.

00:15:37.580 The arrest is a testament

00:15:38.800 to the dedication

00:15:39.420 of good law enforcement being great

00:15:41.880 and partnerships in law enforcement,

00:15:44.340 which I've tried to highlight

00:15:45.200 as my tenure

00:15:46.120 as the director of the FBI.

00:15:47.900 There is no better relationship

00:15:49.640 for law enforcement

00:15:51.140 than the FBI to partner

00:15:52.220 with state and local authorities,

00:15:53.580 and you've seen it here

00:15:54.600 in these last few days.

00:15:56.920 The FBI Salt Lake Field Office,

00:15:58.820 along with our offices in L.A.,

00:16:00.360 Phoenix, Denver, San Antonio,

00:16:02.280 Las Vegas, Pittsburgh, Buffalo,

00:16:04.580 our headquarters component in Quantico,

00:16:06.160 all participate in the FBI.

00:16:07.760 I want to express my deep gratitude

00:16:09.640 to the employees of the FBI,

00:16:12.760 the men and women,

00:16:13.960 the evidence response team tacticians,

00:16:15.820 the special operators,

00:16:17.380 the agents, the support staff.

00:16:20.180 You have done monumental work

00:16:22.180 in historic time

00:16:23.340 when the public,

00:16:26.140 who had a right to demand

00:16:27.200 such an expeditious

00:16:28.180 solving of an investigation,

00:16:32.080 the FBI answered that call

00:16:33.720 diligently,

00:16:35.020 critically important

00:16:36.800 to our nation.

00:16:38.140 And we delivered.

00:16:39.360 And I'm proud to be their leader

00:16:40.540 and I'm proud to be

00:16:41.260 the director of the FBI.

00:16:43.480 This is a very much

00:16:44.500 an ongoing investigation,

00:16:45.760 as the governor said.

00:16:46.740 And we will continue to work

00:16:47.860 with state and local authorities

00:16:48.980 to develop the investigation,

00:16:51.220 to provide them

00:16:51.840 the evidence they need

00:16:52.820 for their ongoing prosecutions.

00:16:55.060 And we will be here

00:16:56.060 to answer every call

00:16:57.060 they absolutely have,

00:16:58.240 as long as it takes,

00:16:59.920 for as long as we need

00:17:01.100 to find and apprehend

00:17:02.260 whatever suspects

00:17:03.140 were involved in this crime.

00:17:05.020 And I'll see you in Valhalla.

00:17:24.800 Thank you.

00:17:25.940 And good morning.

00:17:27.440 I would just like

00:17:28.320 to take a few minutes

00:17:29.360 as the sheriff

00:17:31.440 to express my gratitude

00:17:32.920 gratitude for everybody

00:17:34.560 who has played a part

00:17:35.820 in this investigation.

00:17:37.740 As you know,

00:17:38.500 it's been a vast,

00:17:39.600 a complicated,

00:17:40.900 and a very, very fast-paced

00:17:42.740 investigation.

00:17:43.620 You're looking

00:17:44.180 at people standing up here

00:17:46.420 who are running on,

00:17:48.260 if they got an hour of sleep

00:17:49.420 in the last couple of days,

00:17:50.500 they're probably lucky.

00:17:52.880 It has been very taxing.

00:17:54.640 It has been so impressive

00:17:56.720 speaking on behalf

00:17:58.840 of the local law enforcement

00:18:00.940 to see the cooperation

00:18:03.580 that we've seen

00:18:04.400 in this type of case.

00:18:06.180 Across the state,

00:18:07.960 sheriffs, chiefs,

00:18:10.120 our state partners

00:18:11.860 have stepped up

00:18:12.820 and have come to the call

00:18:14.420 on anything that we needed.

00:18:16.300 Our county chiefs

00:18:17.440 have been phenomenal.

00:18:19.220 Our Utah County attorney,

00:18:21.520 Jeff Gray,

00:18:22.200 who's standing up here with us,

00:18:23.480 has been phenomenal

00:18:24.660 in leading us

00:18:25.900 through this investigation.

00:18:27.700 I would like to thank

00:18:28.900 the federal government

00:18:29.900 for their resources,

00:18:32.940 their assets.

00:18:33.800 Our local team here,

00:18:35.000 our FBI team,

00:18:35.780 has been extraordinary

00:18:37.280 in helping us

00:18:38.340 work through this

00:18:39.540 and bring this person

00:18:40.600 to justice.

00:18:43.900 Most of all,

00:18:45.880 I would like to thank

00:18:47.400 the public,

00:18:48.620 and specifically,

00:18:50.400 I would like to thank

00:18:51.940 the public who turned

00:18:53.840 to prayers

00:18:55.740 and who turned

00:18:57.000 to positiveness for us.

00:18:59.280 I would like to thank them

00:19:00.660 on behalf of the law

00:19:01.660 enforcement community

00:19:02.600 because we needed

00:19:03.480 those prayers.

00:19:04.420 That's what we needed

00:19:05.340 to get through this.

00:19:06.240 We needed your support,

00:19:07.540 and you gave it to us.

00:19:08.940 We needed your patience,

00:19:10.380 and you gave it to us.

00:19:11.740 And I would like to thank you

00:19:13.200 for the Kirk family

00:19:14.180 because that's what they need

00:19:15.600 is your support

00:19:17.180 and your prayers,

00:19:18.120 and that will get us

00:19:19.200 through all of this.

00:19:20.640 So thank you,

00:19:22.400 everybody,

00:19:22.820 for everybody

00:19:23.560 that have stepped up.

00:19:24.600 We've had such

00:19:25.140 a phenomenal response

00:19:26.540 to this.

00:19:27.440 Thank you.

00:19:33.140 I also want to give

00:19:34.140 a special thanks

00:19:34.960 to the Attorney General

00:19:36.520 and the Department of Justice.

00:19:37.980 Their unwavering support

00:19:39.080 and their commitment

00:19:41.660 to justice

00:19:42.520 is shown true here.

00:19:44.480 And without A.G. Bondi

00:19:45.640 and Deputy Attorney General

00:19:46.520 Todd Blanche

00:19:47.120 and the resources

00:19:47.660 they brought to bear,

00:19:48.620 we would not have been able

00:19:49.540 to complete our mission.

00:19:50.800 And I just want to say

00:19:51.520 special thanks.

00:19:52.500 It's an honor to be a part

00:19:53.460 of the Department of Justice.

00:19:57.860 Thank you again

00:19:58.820 to our incredible

00:20:00.100 law enforcement team

00:20:01.220 who has worked so hard.

00:20:03.220 Sheriff,

00:20:03.660 I got a solid 90 minutes

00:20:04.800 last night,

00:20:05.420 so I'm probably

00:20:05.980 the most well-rested person

00:20:07.180 up here.

00:20:09.060 Ladies and gentlemen,

00:20:11.380 I get the microphone,

00:20:12.880 so I hope you'll permit

00:20:14.700 me a moment

00:20:15.840 just to share

00:20:16.560 a few more thoughts

00:20:18.240 about where we are

00:20:19.580 and how we got here

00:20:20.820 and maybe a little bit

00:20:23.100 of where we go from here.

00:20:25.280 I don't want to get

00:20:26.340 too preachy,

00:20:27.420 but I think it's important

00:20:28.820 that we,

00:20:30.480 with eyes wide open,

00:20:31.800 understand what's happening

00:20:33.020 in our country today.

00:20:35.820 I've heard people say,

00:20:38.600 why are we so invested

00:20:40.920 in this?

00:20:42.640 There's violence

00:20:43.660 happening all across

00:20:44.820 our country,

00:20:45.680 and violence is tragic

00:20:47.220 everywhere,

00:20:48.280 and every life taken

00:20:49.840 is a child of God

00:20:52.420 who deserves our love

00:20:54.340 and respect and dignity.

00:20:56.420 This is certainly

00:20:58.380 about the tragic death,

00:21:01.780 assassination,

00:21:03.020 political assassination,

00:21:04.500 of Charlie Kirk,

00:21:05.820 but it is also

00:21:08.200 much bigger

00:21:09.000 than an attack

00:21:10.640 on an individual.

00:21:12.460 It is an attack

00:21:13.700 on all of us.

00:21:16.600 It is an attack

00:21:17.500 on the American experiment.

00:21:19.200 It is an attack

00:21:20.820 on our ideals.

00:21:24.360 This cuts to the very

00:21:26.040 foundation of who we are,

00:21:29.200 of who we have been,

00:21:31.120 and who we could be

00:21:33.200 in better times.

00:21:35.820 Political violence

00:21:36.980 is different

00:21:37.660 than any other

00:21:38.600 type of violence

00:21:39.500 for lots of

00:21:41.460 different reasons.

00:21:42.280 One, because

00:21:43.100 in the very act

00:21:45.300 that Charlie championed

00:21:46.820 of expression,

00:21:49.540 that freedom

00:21:50.120 of expression

00:21:50.860 that is enshrined

00:21:52.260 in our founding documents,

00:21:54.520 in having his life

00:21:56.060 taken in that very act

00:21:58.260 makes it more difficult

00:22:00.900 for people to feel

00:22:02.660 like they can share

00:22:03.760 their ideas,

00:22:05.040 that they can speak freely.

00:22:07.240 We will never be able

00:22:08.660 to solve all the other problems,

00:22:10.300 including the violence problems

00:22:11.600 that people are worried about,

00:22:13.300 if we can't have

00:22:14.380 a clash of ideas

00:22:15.420 safely and securely,

00:22:18.420 even, especially,

00:22:20.120 especially those ideas

00:22:21.960 with which you disagree.

00:22:24.500 That's why this matters

00:22:26.500 so much.

00:22:27.520 over the last 48 hours,

00:22:33.120 I have been as angry

00:22:35.160 as I have ever been,

00:22:37.680 as sad

00:22:39.260 as I have ever been.

00:22:42.800 And

00:22:43.400 it was,

00:22:46.680 as anger pushed me

00:22:49.180 to the brink,

00:22:50.460 it was actually

00:22:51.360 Charlie's words

00:22:52.240 that pulled me back.

00:22:54.080 I'd like to share

00:22:54.980 some of those.

00:22:56.020 And specifically,

00:22:56.860 right now,

00:22:57.420 if I could,

00:22:58.340 I need to talk

00:22:59.400 to the young people

00:23:00.320 in our state,

00:23:01.260 in my state,

00:23:02.520 and all across the country.

00:23:05.760 As President Trump

00:23:06.820 reminded me,

00:23:08.000 he said,

00:23:08.460 you know who

00:23:08.960 really loved Charlie?

00:23:10.500 The youths.

00:23:11.840 And he's right.

00:23:13.360 Young people

00:23:14.180 loved Charlie.

00:23:15.540 And

00:23:16.020 young people

00:23:17.140 hated Charlie.

00:23:17.860 and

00:23:20.500 Charlie

00:23:21.800 went into

00:23:22.700 those places

00:23:23.420 anyway.

00:23:25.320 And

00:23:25.920 these are the words

00:23:27.500 that have helped me.

00:23:30.020 Charlie said,

00:23:31.440 when people

00:23:31.900 stop talking,

00:23:33.260 that's when

00:23:34.240 you get violence.

00:23:36.920 He said,

00:23:37.760 the weak

00:23:38.040 can never forgive.

00:23:39.740 Forgiveness

00:23:40.120 is the attribute

00:23:40.960 of the strong.

00:23:42.580 The only way

00:23:43.380 out of the

00:23:44.000 labyrinth

00:23:44.420 of suffering

00:23:45.120 is to forgive.

00:23:46.560 welcome without

00:23:48.660 judgment,

00:23:49.500 love without

00:23:49.980 condition,

00:23:50.960 forgive without

00:23:51.660 limit.

00:23:53.600 He said,

00:23:54.740 always forgive

00:23:55.800 your enemies.

00:23:57.000 Nothing annoys

00:23:57.680 them so much.

00:23:59.540 A few months ago,

00:24:01.200 I referenced this

00:24:01.840 last night,

00:24:02.320 Charlie posted

00:24:02.940 to social media,

00:24:03.940 when things are

00:24:04.540 moving very fast

00:24:05.660 and people are

00:24:06.580 losing their minds,

00:24:07.780 it's important

00:24:08.520 to stay grounded.

00:24:10.360 Turn off your phone,

00:24:12.100 read scripture,

00:24:13.640 spend time

00:24:14.160 with friends,

00:24:15.020 and remember

00:24:15.840 internet fury

00:24:16.720 is not real life.

00:24:18.640 It's going

00:24:19.180 to be okay.

00:24:21.740 He again said,

00:24:22.620 when you stop

00:24:23.120 having a human

00:24:23.840 connection with

00:24:24.480 someone you

00:24:24.880 disagree with,

00:24:25.880 it becomes a lot

00:24:26.860 easier to commit

00:24:28.260 violence.

00:24:30.340 He said,

00:24:31.220 what we as a

00:24:31.960 culture have to

00:24:32.700 get back to

00:24:33.400 is being able

00:24:34.480 to have a

00:24:35.520 reasonable agreement,

00:24:37.140 being able to

00:24:37.840 have reasonable

00:24:38.440 agreement where

00:24:39.340 violence is not

00:24:40.840 an option.

00:24:42.180 Now again,

00:24:43.400 to my young

00:24:44.740 friends out

00:24:45.440 there,

00:24:46.040 you are

00:24:48.360 inheriting a

00:24:49.760 country where

00:24:51.220 politics feels

00:24:53.640 like rage.

00:24:55.440 It feels like

00:24:56.240 rage is the

00:24:56.920 only option.

00:24:59.700 But through

00:25:01.540 those words,

00:25:02.180 we have a

00:25:02.640 reminder that

00:25:04.660 we can choose

00:25:05.720 a different path.

00:25:07.620 Your generation

00:25:08.820 has an opportunity

00:25:09.860 to build a culture

00:25:11.200 that is very

00:25:11.780 different than

00:25:12.360 what we are

00:25:12.880 suffering through

00:25:13.500 right now.

00:25:15.060 Not by pretending

00:25:16.220 differences don't

00:25:17.160 matter, but by

00:25:18.700 embracing our

00:25:19.340 differences and

00:25:20.000 having those hard

00:25:20.800 conversations.

00:25:22.340 I think we need

00:25:23.880 more moral clarity

00:25:24.880 right now.

00:25:26.380 I hear all the

00:25:27.220 time that words

00:25:28.180 are violence.

00:25:29.760 Words are not

00:25:30.460 violence.

00:25:30.980 Violence is

00:25:31.680 violence.

00:25:33.860 And there is

00:25:34.320 one person

00:25:35.020 responsible for

00:25:37.780 what happened

00:25:38.420 here.

00:25:38.720 And that

00:25:39.560 person is

00:25:40.520 now in

00:25:40.880 custody and

00:25:42.940 will be charged

00:25:43.540 soon and

00:25:44.860 will be held

00:25:45.320 accountable.

00:25:47.360 And yet,

00:25:48.440 all of us

00:25:49.840 have an

00:25:50.620 opportunity right

00:25:51.540 now to do

00:25:52.020 something different.

00:25:53.060 I want to

00:25:53.580 thank my

00:25:53.980 fellow Utahns.

00:25:57.420 You know,

00:25:58.340 this bad stuff

00:25:59.480 happens.

00:25:59.940 and for

00:26:02.360 33 hours,

00:26:05.620 I was

00:26:06.180 praying that

00:26:09.200 if this

00:26:11.940 had to happen

00:26:12.480 here, that it

00:26:13.360 wouldn't be one

00:26:13.980 of us.

00:26:15.080 That somebody

00:26:16.100 drove from

00:26:17.040 another state,

00:26:18.140 somebody came

00:26:18.620 from another

00:26:18.980 country.

00:26:23.020 Sadly, that

00:26:24.100 prayer was not

00:26:25.280 answered the

00:26:25.860 way I had

00:26:26.900 hoped for.

00:26:27.360 Just because I

00:26:28.200 thought it would

00:26:28.600 make it easier

00:26:29.320 on us if we

00:26:30.100 could just

00:26:30.540 say, hey, we

00:26:31.600 don't do that

00:26:32.100 here.

00:26:33.140 And indeed,

00:26:34.160 Utah is a

00:26:34.720 special place.

00:26:36.040 We lead the

00:26:36.540 nation in

00:26:37.120 charitable

00:26:37.500 giving.

00:26:37.960 We lead the

00:26:38.340 nation in

00:26:38.780 service every

00:26:39.500 year.

00:26:41.380 But it did

00:26:42.120 happen here.

00:26:43.960 And it was

00:26:45.240 one of us.

00:26:48.380 But I want

00:26:51.140 you to look

00:26:51.860 at how

00:26:52.240 Utahns reacted

00:26:53.300 the last two

00:26:54.540 nights.

00:26:54.840 there was

00:26:58.060 no rioting.

00:27:00.380 There was no

00:27:01.120 looting.

00:27:02.280 There were no

00:27:02.820 cars set on

00:27:03.660 fire.

00:27:04.600 There was no

00:27:05.240 violence.

00:27:07.260 There were

00:27:08.060 vigils and

00:27:11.240 prayers and

00:27:12.880 people coming

00:27:13.420 together to

00:27:14.680 share the

00:27:15.040 humanity.

00:27:16.580 And that,

00:27:18.180 ladies and 0.98

00:27:18.420 gentlemen, I

00:27:18.860 believe is the

00:27:19.700 answer to this.

00:27:20.940 We can return

00:27:21.780 violence with

00:27:22.360 violence.

00:27:22.780 violence.

00:27:23.500 We can return

00:27:24.240 hate with

00:27:24.700 hate.

00:27:25.620 And that's

00:27:26.360 the problem

00:27:26.900 with political

00:27:27.940 violence is it

00:27:28.760 metastasizes.

00:27:30.820 Because we

00:27:31.700 can always

00:27:32.200 point the

00:27:32.640 finger at

00:27:33.300 the other

00:27:33.600 side.

00:27:35.040 And at

00:27:36.120 some point,

00:27:36.920 we have to

00:27:37.520 find an

00:27:37.920 off-ramp, or

00:27:39.080 it's going to

00:27:39.640 get much,

00:27:40.260 much worse.

00:27:42.200 But see,

00:27:42.540 these are

00:27:42.840 choices that

00:27:43.900 we can

00:27:44.320 make.

00:27:46.680 History will

00:27:47.520 dictate if

00:27:48.840 this is a

00:27:49.380 turning point

00:27:49.960 for our

00:27:50.480 country.

00:27:52.780 But every

00:27:53.780 single one

00:27:54.460 of us gets

00:27:54.980 to choose

00:27:55.560 right now

00:27:56.220 if this is

00:27:57.020 a turning

00:27:57.400 point for

00:27:57.960 us.

00:27:59.480 We get

00:28:00.420 to make

00:28:00.800 decisions.

00:28:01.740 We have

00:28:02.340 our agency.

00:28:05.400 And I

00:28:06.120 desperately

00:28:06.760 call on

00:28:07.540 every American,

00:28:09.120 Republican,

00:28:09.840 Democrat,

00:28:10.740 liberal,

00:28:11.420 progressive,

00:28:12.180 conservative,

00:28:12.980 MAGA, all

00:28:14.140 of us to

00:28:14.900 please,

00:28:15.900 please,

00:28:16.620 please follow

00:28:19.300 what Charlie

00:28:20.940 taught me.

00:28:22.780 I'll just

00:28:24.040 conclude with

00:28:25.220 words I

00:28:26.600 share often

00:28:27.180 from a

00:28:28.780 friend,

00:28:29.220 an author

00:28:29.520 you've all

00:28:29.920 live in,

00:28:31.060 who was

00:28:31.460 asked if he

00:28:31.920 was optimistic

00:28:32.460 about our

00:28:32.880 country.

00:28:33.640 And he

00:28:35.480 said,

00:28:35.780 I'm not

00:28:36.120 optimistic.

00:28:36.840 He said,

00:28:37.100 I hate

00:28:37.380 optimism.

00:28:38.380 God,

00:28:38.720 that sounds

00:28:39.080 bad.

00:28:40.400 But he

00:28:40.820 said,

00:28:41.480 he said,

00:28:42.100 optimism is

00:28:43.960 a vice.

00:28:45.180 It's this

00:28:45.820 idea that

00:28:46.620 good things

00:28:47.560 are just

00:28:48.520 going to

00:28:48.920 happen.

00:28:50.040 And he

00:28:50.280 said,

00:28:50.380 in the

00:28:50.580 history of

00:28:50.900 the world,

00:28:51.320 good things

00:28:51.740 have never

00:28:52.140 just

00:28:52.540 happened.

00:28:54.820 He

00:28:55.380 said,

00:28:55.600 I'm not

00:28:55.880 optimistic,

00:28:56.600 but I

00:28:56.800 am hopeful.

00:28:58.560 And hope

00:28:59.760 is the

00:29:00.160 virtue that

00:29:00.740 sits between

00:29:01.360 the vices

00:29:01.920 of optimism

00:29:02.780 and pessimism.

00:29:04.640 Hope is

00:29:05.800 the idea

00:29:06.300 that good

00:29:06.920 things are

00:29:07.560 going to

00:29:08.020 happen because

00:29:08.980 we can

00:29:09.920 make them

00:29:10.440 so.

00:29:11.780 I still

00:29:12.600 believe in

00:29:13.340 our country.

00:29:14.740 And I

00:29:15.400 know Charlie

00:29:15.920 Kirk believed

00:29:16.620 in our

00:29:16.920 country.

00:29:17.760 I still

00:29:18.460 believe that

00:29:18.960 there is

00:29:19.380 more good

00:29:20.060 among us

00:29:20.600 than evil.

00:29:21.600 And I

00:29:22.180 still

00:29:22.780 believe that

00:29:24.640 we can

00:29:25.600 change the

00:29:26.380 course of

00:29:26.820 history.

00:29:27.740 I'm hopeful

00:29:28.580 because

00:29:29.880 Americans

00:29:31.320 can make

00:29:32.020 it so.

00:29:33.500 Ladies and 0.98

00:29:33.880 gentlemen,

00:29:34.140 we're happy

00:29:34.440 to answer

00:29:34.740 any questions

00:29:35.160 you might

00:29:35.400 have.

00:29:35.480 Can we

00:29:36.520 speak to

00:29:37.160 whether

00:29:37.460 the

00:29:37.800 suspect

00:29:38.200 is speaking

00:29:39.540 with

00:29:39.780 authorities

00:29:40.280 and his

00:29:40.980 demeanor

00:29:41.540 when he

00:29:43.120 turned

00:29:43.300 himself in?

00:29:44.560 I cannot

00:29:45.400 speak to

00:29:45.900 that.

00:29:46.080 Well, I

00:29:56.080 will leave

00:29:56.460 that up to

00:29:56.920 you to

00:29:57.260 interpret

00:29:57.580 what those

00:29:58.020 engravings

00:29:58.640 mean.

00:29:59.500 I think

00:29:59.980 the

00:30:00.260 clearest

00:30:00.900 one that

00:30:01.620 says catch

00:30:02.180 fascist, 0.85

00:30:03.600 there's not

00:30:04.640 and by the

00:30:05.520 way, that's

00:30:05.820 like catch

00:30:06.380 like a

00:30:06.920 ball, catch

00:30:07.440 this.

00:30:08.820 That's I

00:30:09.900 think that

00:30:10.360 that speaks

00:30:10.860 for itself.

00:30:11.440 There's

00:30:25.820 nothing more

00:30:26.440 that we

00:30:26.760 can share

00:30:27.120 at this

00:30:27.400 time.

00:30:27.640 Governor,

00:30:28.060 you've

00:30:28.460 indicated

00:30:28.920 that you've

00:30:29.400 been

00:30:29.580 communicating

00:30:30.240 with a

00:30:30.600 friend on

00:30:31.080 discord

00:30:31.480 about the

00:30:32.520 gun.

00:30:33.520 Do you

00:30:34.000 anticipate

00:30:34.660 any more

00:30:35.440 arrests?

00:30:36.720 We do

00:30:37.540 not at

00:30:38.000 this time

00:30:38.580 have any

00:30:39.080 information

00:30:39.520 that would

00:30:39.860 lead to

00:30:40.260 any

00:30:40.500 additional

00:30:40.920 arrests.

00:30:41.440 Yes, but

00:30:44.360 the

00:30:44.640 investigation

00:30:45.060 is

00:30:45.440 ongoing.

00:30:50.400 Yes, so

00:30:55.540 right now

00:30:56.520 Mr. Robinson

00:30:57.220 has been

00:30:57.620 booked into

00:30:58.020 the Utah

00:30:58.380 County

00:30:58.740 Jail.

00:31:00.240 You

00:31:00.840 heard the

00:31:01.420 president

00:31:01.820 this

00:31:02.220 morning

00:31:02.600 report

00:31:03.560 that he

00:31:05.040 was taken

00:31:05.900 into

00:31:06.220 custody,

00:31:07.240 that his

00:31:08.060 family and

00:31:09.220 a friend

00:31:10.300 helped

00:31:11.280 helped to

00:31:11.680 deliver him

00:31:12.740 into custody

00:31:15.220 of law

00:31:15.500 enforcement

00:31:15.840 in Washington

00:31:16.440 County.

00:31:17.060 For those

00:31:17.300 of you that

00:31:17.540 don't know

00:31:17.920 where Washington

00:31:18.460 County is,

00:31:19.200 it is the

00:31:19.680 southwestern-most

00:31:21.680 part of the

00:31:22.240 state of Utah.

00:31:23.080 It's about a 0.56

00:31:23.620 three-and-a-half

00:31:24.520 to four-hour

00:31:25.200 drive from

00:31:25.820 here, where

00:31:26.940 we are right

00:31:27.360 now, and

00:31:28.140 that's where

00:31:29.700 he lived and

00:31:30.640 where they

00:31:31.720 turned him

00:31:32.300 in.

00:31:32.420 I can't

00:31:37.340 share any

00:31:37.680 more than

00:31:38.080 what I've

00:31:38.360 already

00:31:38.540 shared.

00:31:38.840 Yeah.

00:31:44.680 So,

00:31:45.580 how we

00:31:47.720 obtained the

00:31:48.100 gun, the

00:31:48.320 gun was

00:31:48.600 found here.

00:31:52.640 So, I

00:31:53.560 don't have

00:31:54.040 much more

00:31:54.460 details on

00:31:55.980 that.

00:31:56.760 We do

00:31:57.260 know that

00:31:57.820 he drove,

00:31:59.240 we had his

00:31:59.840 car here

00:32:00.460 on campus,

00:32:02.680 and then

00:32:03.060 we had his

00:32:03.900 car going

00:32:04.640 south, back

00:32:06.920 to the

00:32:08.200 St. George.

00:32:09.020 It's actually

00:32:09.700 the city of

00:32:10.220 Washington, in

00:32:11.160 Washington County.

00:32:15.080 I'm sorry?

00:32:18.360 We don't

00:32:19.000 have any

00:32:19.360 information that

00:32:19.960 would lead us

00:32:20.360 to believe

00:32:20.640 that.

00:32:21.820 Yes.

00:32:22.240 In fact, it

00:32:22.900 was just

00:32:24.120 released.

00:32:24.760 Yes.

00:32:27.600 I can't

00:32:29.380 answer that

00:32:30.020 right now.

00:32:30.460 Yeah, thank

00:32:31.140 you.

00:32:32.180 Over here.

00:32:32.760 You've spoken

00:32:33.080 very eloquently

00:32:33.800 about trying

00:32:34.460 to unite

00:32:35.200 this country.

00:32:36.080 Do you

00:32:36.380 feel this

00:32:37.020 is a

00:32:37.860 watershed

00:32:38.280 in American

00:32:38.880 history?

00:32:40.840 I absolutely

00:32:42.480 believe that

00:32:43.040 this is a

00:32:43.460 watershed in

00:32:44.000 American

00:32:44.300 history, yes.

00:32:45.540 The question

00:32:46.320 is what

00:32:46.660 kind of

00:32:47.000 watershed, and

00:32:48.160 that chapter

00:32:49.380 remains to be

00:32:50.060 written.

00:32:50.320 Is this the

00:32:50.820 end of a

00:32:51.980 dark chapter

00:32:52.560 in our

00:32:52.960 history, or

00:32:53.500 the beginning

00:32:54.020 of a darker

00:32:55.500 chapter in

00:32:56.060 our history?

00:32:56.520 We've, look, I

00:32:58.780 mean, if you

00:32:59.960 look at true

00:33:01.700 political

00:33:02.200 assassinations in

00:33:03.480 this country of

00:33:04.660 someone of this

00:33:06.100 stature, this

00:33:07.480 feels a lot like

00:33:08.240 the late 60s,

00:33:09.680 and having one

00:33:11.320 so gruesomely

00:33:12.760 displayed on

00:33:14.560 camera in all

00:33:15.940 of our hands

00:33:16.560 and in all of

00:33:17.220 our pockets, we

00:33:18.680 are not wired as

00:33:19.560 human beings

00:33:20.400 biologically,

00:33:23.420 historically.

00:33:26.080 We have not

00:33:26.900 evolved in a

00:33:29.180 way that we

00:33:31.340 are capable of

00:33:32.660 processing those

00:33:33.540 types of violent

00:33:34.460 imagery.

00:33:35.320 And by the way,

00:33:35.800 we've seen another

00:33:36.400 one with a

00:33:36.820 gruesome stabbing

00:33:37.600 very recently that

00:33:38.800 went viral.

00:33:39.920 This is not good

00:33:40.880 for us.

00:33:41.860 It is not good

00:33:42.480 to consume.

00:33:43.720 Social media is a

00:33:44.760 cancer on our

00:33:45.780 society right now,

00:33:46.760 and I would

00:33:47.240 encourage, again,

00:33:48.580 I would encourage

00:33:49.080 people to log off,

00:33:50.140 turn off, touch

00:33:50.980 grass, hug a

00:33:51.960 family member, go

00:33:52.880 out and do good

00:33:53.340 in your community.

00:33:54.820 That is happening,

00:33:56.080 and it's happening

00:33:56.580 organically right

00:33:57.440 now.

00:33:57.820 I had a friend in

00:33:58.640 a small city in

00:33:59.660 Utah who said,

00:34:00.700 we're getting

00:34:01.700 together, the

00:34:02.780 Republicans and

00:34:03.520 Democrats in my

00:34:04.240 little town are

00:34:04.760 getting together to

00:34:05.420 have a discussion

00:34:06.000 tonight, last

00:34:07.560 night, just to

00:34:08.940 find a way to

00:34:09.980 find their better

00:34:11.360 angels.

00:34:12.200 So, yes, this

00:34:13.520 could be.

00:34:14.960 I mean, again,

00:34:16.340 you have to go

00:34:16.920 back to JFK to

00:34:18.580 have seen,

00:34:19.760 a video live

00:34:21.240 of something like

00:34:22.240 this happening.

00:34:23.380 I wasn't born

00:34:24.180 until 1975, but I

00:34:26.300 know that things

00:34:26.740 were really dark in

00:34:27.860 the late 60s.

00:34:28.760 Sorry to some of

00:34:29.320 you.

00:34:29.460 I know some of

00:34:29.980 you were there.

00:34:31.440 But this is our

00:34:34.540 moment.

00:34:35.720 Do we escalate or

00:34:37.000 do we find an

00:34:38.220 off-ramp?

00:34:39.300 And, again, it's a

00:34:40.960 choice.

00:34:41.820 It's a choice, and

00:34:42.820 every one of us gets

00:34:43.540 to make that choice.

00:34:44.380 Two more questions.

00:34:45.280 Two more questions

00:34:45.800 right here.

00:34:46.620 Could we clarify

00:34:47.900 that the release of

00:34:49.360 those enhanced

00:34:50.100 images at 8 p.m.

00:34:51.280 the timeline the

00:34:51.980 director Patel gave

00:34:52.920 us led to the

00:34:54.180 arrest at 10 p.m.?

00:34:55.200 Is there a direct

00:34:55.920 connection between

00:34:57.020 those two events?

00:34:57.800 I cannot comment

00:34:58.820 if there is a

00:34:59.700 direct connection or

00:35:00.780 not, but all I can

00:35:02.420 say is that through

00:35:05.140 some process the

00:35:06.480 family came to know

00:35:09.080 that this had

00:35:09.600 happened.

00:35:09.880 One more thing

00:35:10.500 Governor.

00:35:10.860 Could you just

00:35:11.280 clarify the clothing

00:35:12.380 issue you mentioned

00:35:13.260 earlier?

00:35:14.700 Was he changing

00:35:15.540 outfits?

00:35:16.320 Correct.

00:35:17.360 Yes, yes.

00:35:18.060 So when he's first

00:35:20.300 spotted on campus, he

00:35:21.820 has different clothing

00:35:22.800 on, and then he

00:35:24.540 changes clothing on

00:35:25.840 the roof and then

00:35:27.580 changed back into

00:35:28.660 that clothing at some

00:35:29.540 point so that when

00:35:30.520 he was apprehended,

00:35:33.080 when he was

00:35:33.920 arrested, the

00:35:35.200 clothing matched

00:35:35.980 the clothing he had

00:35:36.700 on before the

00:35:37.800 shooting here at

00:35:38.960 UVU.

00:35:39.260 Last question

00:35:40.060 here.

00:35:40.580 Yes.

00:35:40.800 The suspect was

00:35:41.880 running to campus.

00:35:42.900 Can you tell us a

00:35:43.700 little bit more about

00:35:44.380 where most of his

00:35:45.600 students here at

00:35:46.340 Michigan, and is

00:35:47.380 there any history

00:35:48.140 of mental illness?

00:35:49.440 So I don't have

00:35:52.320 any information on

00:35:53.120 the mental illness

00:35:53.640 part.

00:35:54.020 He was not a

00:35:54.760 student here at

00:35:55.800 UVU.

00:35:57.120 He was living and

00:35:59.300 had lived for a

00:36:01.460 long time with his

00:36:02.460 family in Washington

00:36:04.500 County.

00:36:05.220 So the most part

00:36:05.800 of our city.

00:36:06.220 Thank you,

00:36:06.900 everyone, for your

00:36:08.140 great work in

00:36:08.820 getting this

00:36:09.180 information out.

00:36:09.920 I just say process

00:36:11.680 wise, this may be

00:36:12.380 important.

00:36:13.020 I know many of you

00:36:13.800 aren't familiar with

00:36:14.640 the process in Utah.

00:36:16.180 I think it's important

00:36:17.060 that you understand

00:36:17.800 that.

00:36:19.040 Basically, we have

00:36:20.740 three days for

00:36:22.100 charging documents to

00:36:23.540 be filed.

00:36:25.320 A CI will be 1.00

00:36:26.200 filed.

00:36:26.880 We'll have more

00:36:27.640 information then,

00:36:28.720 more detailed

00:36:29.320 information as those

00:36:30.360 charging documents are

00:36:31.680 filed in preparation

00:36:33.200 for a preliminary

00:36:34.520 hearing.

00:36:35.400 So three days.

00:36:36.200 So we would

00:36:37.180 anticipate then

00:36:38.080 that early next

00:36:39.100 week, those

00:36:39.880 charging documents

00:36:40.700 will be filed.

00:36:41.720 We will obviously

00:36:42.460 be working,

00:36:43.340 the county attorney

00:36:44.160 will be working

00:36:44.800 very closely with

00:36:46.220 Mr. Kirk's family

00:36:47.620 as those documents

00:36:49.480 and decisions are

00:36:50.460 prepared and made.

00:36:51.200 Thanks, everyone.

00:36:56.080 Okay, let me have it.

00:36:57.280 Um, I'll be

00:36:59.940 brutally frank.

00:37:00.880 I was quite

00:37:01.720 underwhelmed by that

00:37:02.680 and I think the

00:37:03.500 governor, uh, now's

00:37:06.080 time that we don't

00:37:07.040 need a campaign 0.53

00:37:07.700 speech and certainly

00:37:08.460 don't need happy

00:37:09.140 talk.

00:37:10.100 So many unanswered

00:37:11.440 questions and I do

00:37:12.320 not understand why

00:37:13.460 law enforcement did

00:37:14.900 not step up to the

00:37:15.780 microphone and give

00:37:16.560 some details.

00:37:18.280 Some details.

00:37:19.300 Instead of glazing

00:37:20.280 each other about this

00:37:21.300 partnership and we're

00:37:22.140 all great, we did a

00:37:23.440 great job.

00:37:24.260 Correct me if I'm

00:37:24.840 wrong, we saw the

00:37:25.660 nine minute, we

00:37:27.000 watched the nine

00:37:27.660 minute press

00:37:29.340 conference yesterday

00:37:30.240 and the pictures that

00:37:31.740 came up and went all

00:37:32.540 over the internet and

00:37:34.700 it appears the kid had

00:37:36.440 said something to the

00:37:37.140 family, the family had

00:37:38.120 confronted him and the

00:37:39.160 family turned him in.

00:37:41.420 I'm not seeing the

00:37:42.480 great law enforcement

00:37:43.300 work and I'm not, you 0.97

00:37:44.560 know, saying there's not

00:37:46.100 great law enforcement.

00:37:47.040 They all came together.

00:37:47.860 I got that, but this

00:37:49.320 was not through law

00:37:50.180 enforcement work.

00:37:51.720 There's actually a

00:37:52.500 report out there that

00:37:53.180 maybe the FBI had been

00:37:54.080 tipped off about

00:37:54.700 somebody up on the

00:37:55.440 roof, you know,

00:37:57.000 during the week.

00:37:58.100 I don't know if

00:37:58.720 that's accurate.

00:37:59.380 We're trying to check

00:37:59.920 it out, but we don't

00:38:02.160 need a governor, a 0.99

00:38:03.160 political figure to

00:38:04.820 step up.

00:38:05.900 A governor is also

00:38:06.700 known to be, I think,

00:38:07.660 particularly obnoxious.

00:38:09.800 Remember, he's totally

00:38:10.580 woke.

00:38:11.120 He was all into the

00:38:11.860 transgender thing.

00:38:12.940 This guy's completely

00:38:13.960 woke.

00:38:15.500 We don't need a

00:38:16.420 governor to step up and

00:38:17.620 give us basically a

00:38:18.640 political pep talk and

00:38:20.020 a rally and let's just

00:38:21.680 all come together.

00:38:22.500 When you have an

00:38:23.240 Antifa, you get

00:38:24.000 details in here about

00:38:25.980 the theme song for

00:38:27.820 Antifa on the bullet.

00:38:29.140 You got the, you got

00:38:30.160 the symbology that

00:38:31.120 Antifa uses all the

00:38:33.020 time.

00:38:33.340 You clearly have a

00:38:34.220 young, progressive

00:38:36.160 left-wing hater that

00:38:38.260 assassinated Charlie

00:38:39.380 Kirk in cold blood.

00:38:40.540 What I want to see is

00:38:42.120 some law enforcement

00:38:42.820 people step up to the

00:38:44.400 microphone, give some

00:38:45.800 details and take some

00:38:47.060 questions from the

00:38:47.840 media.

00:38:48.120 I don't know why

00:38:50.120 cash flew out there

00:38:51.100 thousands of miles to

00:38:53.040 give us, hey, working

00:38:54.440 partnerships and our

00:38:55.280 great partnership in

00:38:56.060 Utah.

00:38:56.420 Okay, I got that.

00:38:57.720 No offense to the law

00:38:59.080 enforcement guys in the

00:38:59.800 future of this.

00:39:00.680 The public assumes that

00:39:02.140 you're working together

00:39:03.000 as partnerships.

00:39:04.360 There's certain

00:39:04.860 assumptions when you

00:39:05.660 walk to the microphone

00:39:06.440 of information we

00:39:07.880 don't need time and

00:39:08.960 time and time again.

00:39:09.920 I tell my team when

00:39:11.500 these press conferences

00:39:12.660 are scheduled, I don't

00:39:14.160 know if I need to be

00:39:14.920 for the first 10

00:39:15.560 minutes because it's

00:39:16.180 just going to be some

00:39:16.940 all-group thing about

00:39:17.920 how great we are.

00:39:19.480 Charlie Kirk was

00:39:20.900 assassinated in cold

00:39:22.060 blood by a left-wing

00:39:24.260 Antifa-affiliated or

00:39:27.040 Antifa-aligned person.

00:39:29.360 Okay?

00:39:29.780 We want to find out

00:39:30.780 about him.

00:39:31.540 We want more details

00:39:32.460 about him.

00:39:33.460 And correct me if I'm

00:39:34.400 wrong, Matt Bowles

00:39:35.120 here, we're going to

00:39:35.620 get Poso by phone.

00:39:37.880 In the Discord channel,

00:39:39.380 there's other, the guy

00:39:40.200 said there's nobody,

00:39:41.020 we're not looking for

00:39:41.700 anybody, there's nobody

00:39:42.340 here.

00:39:42.680 Yo, I think he's got

00:39:43.820 at least one accessory.

00:39:45.960 Maybe the roommate?

00:39:47.920 I mean, who is in the

00:39:49.100 Discord channel?

00:39:49.960 They're talking about

00:39:50.500 the gun and retrieving

00:39:51.400 the gun.

00:39:52.140 I would assume that

00:39:54.020 that person has some

00:39:55.300 knowledge of a crime

00:39:57.020 and has some knowledge

00:39:58.500 of a crime right

00:40:00.240 immediately after the

00:40:01.360 shot was fired.

00:40:02.280 And I don't remember,

00:40:03.380 no one's come forward

00:40:04.260 and said, that guy

00:40:05.100 came forward and said,

00:40:05.900 hey, I think my

00:40:06.620 roommate just shot

00:40:07.880 Charlie Kirk.

00:40:08.580 This is why people

00:40:12.120 get so frustrated.

00:40:13.000 And no, governor, no,

00:40:14.460 no, we're not going

00:40:15.220 to have a group hug

00:40:16.100 and sit down with

00:40:16.700 Democrats.

00:40:17.660 They are targeting

00:40:19.040 conservatives.

00:40:20.980 They're targeting

00:40:21.640 leaders.

00:40:22.680 Charlie Kirk's not

00:40:23.580 replaceable.

00:40:25.120 The group of

00:40:26.500 turning point with

00:40:28.280 Tyler and Andrew and

00:40:29.540 the other great team

00:40:30.280 that Charlie's built,

00:40:31.160 they will go on and

00:40:32.400 they're going to do

00:40:32.920 great things and

00:40:33.740 probably greater things

00:40:34.980 they've done before.

00:40:35.740 But a Charlie Kirk's

00:40:37.680 like an Andrew

00:40:38.280 Breitbart.

00:40:39.400 These individuals

00:40:40.280 come along once a

00:40:41.640 generation, right?

00:40:43.700 They're not, they're

00:40:44.640 not everyday people.

00:40:47.200 This is, and they

00:40:48.180 targeted this guy.

00:40:50.380 They targeted him.

00:40:51.480 The family said right 0.94

00:40:52.380 there, Matt Boyle.

00:40:53.200 And look, I'm just

00:40:54.040 sick and tired of law

00:40:56.400 enforcement with all

00:40:57.120 the resources we put

00:40:57.940 into it to come up

00:40:59.260 and say, we're

00:41:00.040 working in partnerships.

00:41:00.840 We're great.

00:41:01.420 We're communicating.

00:41:02.120 The public assumes

00:41:03.720 that that is happening.

00:41:06.640 We, you should get

00:41:07.580 to the chase, cut to

00:41:08.760 the chase and give

00:41:09.500 the public content

00:41:10.820 about exactly what

00:41:12.940 happened, the timeline

00:41:14.360 of how the guy turned

00:41:15.360 himself in, about the

00:41:16.460 family, about more

00:41:17.300 details and about

00:41:18.320 accessories to the

00:41:20.340 crime in the Discord

00:41:22.000 channel and go into

00:41:23.120 and have a governor

00:41:24.280 up there that has no

00:41:25.900 earthly idea about

00:41:26.780 Antifa, doesn't

00:41:27.440 really matter.

00:41:28.200 We had the FBI

00:41:29.220 director.

00:41:30.040 Could we not get up

00:41:31.300 there and talk about

00:41:32.340 what this symbology

00:41:33.340 means?

00:41:33.880 Because the left is

00:41:34.880 not going to get off

00:41:35.600 the hook in this.

00:41:36.220 All these reporters

00:41:36.720 coming, what do you

00:41:37.260 mean we're a war

00:41:37.820 banner?

00:41:38.200 What are you talking

00:41:38.660 about this?

00:41:39.520 They assassinated

00:41:41.020 Charlie Kirk in cold

00:41:43.120 blood in a targeted

00:41:44.440 exercise that took

00:41:45.600 planning, planning.

00:41:48.360 And now we're going to

00:41:49.180 sit here and let's,

00:41:49.960 let's have some groups.

00:41:51.080 Let's get together and

00:41:51.980 have a group hug.

00:41:53.540 They take out Charlie

00:41:54.760 Kirk and let's just sit

00:41:55.700 down and have a group

00:41:56.400 hug.

00:41:57.440 Let's have a, let's

00:41:58.440 have Antifa over for a

00:41:59.880 barbecue this afternoon.

00:42:00.940 How about that?

00:42:02.500 Antifa, can you, you

00:42:03.540 know, uh, you know,

00:42:04.760 Charlie, the

00:42:05.780 generalist and nicest

00:42:06.940 individual in this

00:42:08.540 political world who

00:42:10.260 would sit there with a

00:42:11.060 microphone and say, I

00:42:12.620 can convince you through

00:42:13.600 ideas.

00:42:14.160 I can convince you

00:42:15.140 through the force of my

00:42:16.200 argument, not violence

00:42:18.460 and anything.

00:42:19.220 He was the happy

00:42:19.920 warrior.

00:42:21.340 That's who they took

00:42:22.340 out.

00:42:23.500 Who could be more

00:42:24.540 accommodating than

00:42:25.440 Charlie Kirk?

00:42:26.100 Who could be nicer than

00:42:27.080 Charlie Kirk?

00:42:27.760 Who could be more

00:42:28.320 accessible than Charlie

00:42:29.280 Kirk?

00:42:29.660 That's why they

00:42:30.520 murdered him in cold

00:42:32.280 blood assassination.

00:42:33.180 And this was an

00:42:34.140 execution.

00:42:34.880 And now, you know, you

00:42:35.920 get the symbology of

00:42:36.940 this and we're just

00:42:37.980 going to have this

00:42:38.480 press conference and

00:42:39.220 all, okay, fine.

00:42:40.160 And, you know, let's

00:42:40.880 go, let's, it's time to

00:42:42.080 us to bring the unity

00:42:43.520 together.

00:42:44.060 No, they always want

00:42:44.920 the unity after they do

00:42:47.100 something horrific.

00:42:48.600 Well, they ain't getting

00:42:49.600 unity and there shouldn't

00:42:51.100 be unity.

00:42:52.160 We should get answers on

00:42:53.820 this to drill down with

00:42:56.500 people that know it and

00:42:57.380 present to the public

00:42:58.280 exactly what his

00:42:59.200 affiliations were, who

00:43:00.380 he talked to and, and

00:43:01.920 round up the

00:43:02.540 accessories.

00:43:04.200 And now more than

00:43:05.220 ever, I don't know why

00:43:06.320 we're not putting down

00:43:07.220 Antifa, at least at

00:43:08.540 minimum.

00:43:10.360 Matt Boyle, your

00:43:11.400 thoughts on, I thought

00:43:12.540 was very frustrating.

00:43:13.540 And once again, just

00:43:14.820 nothing more than

00:43:15.420 glazing.

00:43:16.560 Well, I will say that

00:43:18.520 we did learn some new

00:43:19.580 facts during this, but

00:43:20.940 other than that, like,

00:43:22.100 sorry, it's not a time

00:43:23.200 for kumbaya, right?

00:43:24.400 Like, I mean, the fact

00:43:25.720 is, is that you still

00:43:27.560 have people throughout

00:43:29.260 the Democrat Party, we

00:43:30.560 reported last night at

00:43:31.640 Breitbart, there was a

00:43:32.820 staffer on Capitol Hill

00:43:34.100 who works for Congressman

00:43:35.200 Andre Carson, who was

00:43:37.600 out there repeating the

00:43:39.220 lies that Charlie Kirk is

00:43:40.840 somehow a Nazi or a 0.78

00:43:42.520 racist or something like

00:43:43.600 that, right?

00:43:44.460 Like, again, we need to,

00:43:46.700 for there to be unity, for

00:43:48.980 there to be a kumbaya

00:43:50.260 moment, we need to hear

00:43:52.200 from the leaders of the

00:43:53.420 Democrat Party that this

00:43:55.600 has to stop.

00:43:56.900 This is what I was

00:43:57.500 saying before the press

00:43:58.560 conference there, is that

00:43:59.880 we need to hear from

00:44:00.660 Barack Obama.

00:44:01.540 He's the closest thing

00:44:02.420 that we have to the

00:44:03.360 leader of the Democrat

00:44:04.180 Party.

00:44:04.660 They don't have a leader

00:44:05.640 as a party right now.

00:44:07.900 They're a leaderless party

00:44:09.360 and they have been for a

00:44:10.360 long time.

00:44:11.260 But the fact is, is that

00:44:13.420 they've been encouraging

00:44:14.800 this type of behavior for a

00:44:18.440 long time now through

00:44:20.040 their systemic, repeated

00:44:23.100 narrative building.

00:44:25.320 And again, they're

00:44:26.260 accomplices across the

00:44:27.640 establishment media that

00:44:29.700 have been accusing people

00:44:31.300 like us of being Nazis and

00:44:33.120 racists and so on and so

00:44:34.340 forth falsely.

00:44:36.860 It's a narrative that

00:44:38.120 they've been pushing.

00:44:38.860 David Korn from Mother

00:44:40.060 Jones magazine did it in a

00:44:41.800 story last night, right?

00:44:43.500 Like, after Charlie was

00:44:44.660 killed, you know, he comes 1.00

00:44:45.820 out and does all the

00:44:46.580 obligatory, oh, you know,

00:44:48.600 it should be condemned.

00:44:50.000 Oh, it should be bad. 0.99

00:44:50.800 But he was a racist and 0.97

00:44:52.520 this, that and the other 0.96

00:44:53.860 thing.

00:44:54.280 And it's like, what is

00:44:55.960 wrong with these people?

00:44:56.960 No, we need to hear from

00:44:58.100 the leaders of the

00:44:59.360 devil.

00:44:59.840 Where is Hakeem Jeffries?

00:45:01.860 Right.

00:45:02.100 Where is Chuck?

00:45:03.080 I'm going to give you a

00:45:03.880 newsflash.

00:45:04.660 I'm going to give you a

00:45:06.020 newsflash.

00:45:07.160 Number one, this is one

00:45:09.140 of the I got it.

00:45:11.600 I got it.

00:45:11.980 I want to I can answer

00:45:13.120 your rhetorical question.

00:45:14.400 It's not going to happen

00:45:15.520 because they think it's a

00:45:16.280 winning strategy.

00:45:17.620 That's why Obama is not

00:45:18.440 going to do it.

00:45:18.760 Also, as you know, the

00:45:20.160 Democratic Party are just 0.93

00:45:21.260 a handful of feckless 1.00

00:45:22.420 clowns. 1.00

00:45:23.780 It's the Soros money. 1.00

00:45:24.940 It's the act blue money.

00:45:26.140 It's the dark money that

00:45:27.580 finances much of this from

00:45:29.380 from foreign sources.

00:45:31.260 You know, President Trump

00:45:31.940 said today we'll pull that

00:45:33.280 clip on on Fox and Friends

00:45:35.300 when he gave the live

00:45:36.440 interview.

00:45:36.940 He talked about there's a

00:45:38.060 RICO.

00:45:39.040 They're beginning a RICO

00:45:40.080 investigation of Soros.

00:45:42.600 What we have to do is get

00:45:43.620 to the groups that fund

00:45:44.740 Antifa.

00:45:45.760 Get to the groups that fund

00:45:47.200 this radical trans ideology.

00:45:49.960 This is what has to happen.

00:45:51.140 We can't play patty cake.

00:45:52.240 There's not we're not going

00:45:52.940 to be a group hug.

00:45:53.720 We're not interested in a hug.

00:45:55.380 We're interested in action

00:45:56.720 and that action using the

00:45:58.860 law.

00:45:59.280 And this is why I would

00:46:00.380 want it to have the law

00:46:01.880 enforcement guys up here

00:46:02.840 today with details and to

00:46:04.240 talk about this and the

00:46:05.240 ongoing investigation and

00:46:06.720 not have the governor to

00:46:07.720 sit there like it's an

00:46:08.400 open and shut case.

00:46:09.420 It's one random kid, one

00:46:11.720 random kid from Utah that

00:46:13.800 climbed on a roof.

00:46:14.480 Anyway, Matt, can you hang

00:46:15.440 on for one second?

00:46:16.040 I know you've got tons to

00:46:16.880 do over at Breitbart.

00:46:17.800 I need to hold you.

00:46:19.960 I've got Jack Posobiec

00:46:21.080 coming up, Alex Jones in a

00:46:22.640 little while.

00:46:23.420 We just had the presser,

00:46:24.380 Tyler Robinson, 22 years

00:46:25.880 old, a native of Utah

00:46:28.300 turned in by his, I

00:46:30.280 believe his parents last

00:46:32.220 night or convinced to turn

00:46:34.280 himself in in the one

00:46:36.140 o'clock in the morning.

00:46:36.880 There's his shot right

00:46:37.940 there.

00:46:38.180 That is the face of left

00:46:39.500 wing evil right in front of 0.94

00:46:41.160 you folks.

00:46:41.980 Left wing evil.

00:46:43.140 You want to do a group

00:46:44.240 hug?

00:46:44.560 You feeling like a hug

00:46:45.440 this morning?

00:46:46.520 We ain't going to get one

00:46:47.640 in the war room.

00:46:48.740 That's for sure.

00:46:49.460 Short break.

00:46:50.360 Matt Ball, Jack Posobiec,

00:46:51.720 Alex Jones next.

00:46:52.740 This July, there is a

00:47:01.820 global summit of BRICS

00:47:03.180 nations in Rio de Janeiro,

00:47:05.320 the block of emerging

00:47:06.300 superpowers, including

00:47:07.920 China, Russia, India and

00:47:10.000 Persia are meeting with the

00:47:11.940 goal of displacing the 0.98

00:47:13.340 United States dollar as the

00:47:14.960 global currency.

00:47:16.120 They're calling this the

00:47:17.740 Rio reset as BRICS nations 0.99

00:47:20.300 push forward with their

00:47:21.280 plans.

00:47:21.800 Global demand for U.S.

00:47:22.900 dollars will decrease,

00:47:24.300 bringing down the value of

00:47:25.400 the dollar in your savings.

00:47:27.540 While this transition

00:47:28.480 won't not happen overnight,

00:47:31.060 but trust me, it's going to

00:47:32.360 start in Rio.

00:47:33.940 The Rio reset in July marks

00:47:35.920 a pivotal moment when BRICS

00:47:37.820 objectives move decisively

00:47:39.400 from a theoretical possibility

00:47:41.480 towards an inevitable

00:47:43.180 reality.

00:49:48.020 If you're a homeowner, you need

00:49:49.580 to listen to this.

00:49:50.980 In today's AI and cyber world,

00:49:54.140 scammers are stealing home titles

00:49:55.860 with more ease than ever, and your

00:49:58.020 equity is the target.

00:49:59.900 Here's how it works.

00:50:01.100 Criminals forge your signature on 1.00

00:50:02.780 one document.

00:50:03.540 Use a fake notary stamp, pay small

00:50:06.160 fee with your county, and boom, your

00:50:08.980 home title has been transferred out

00:50:10.700 of your name.

00:50:12.020 Then they take out loans using your

00:50:14.240 equity or even sell your property.

00:50:16.340 You won't even know it's happened

00:50:17.680 until you get a collection or

00:50:20.060 foreclosure notice.

00:50:23.240 So let me ask you, when was the last

00:50:25.680 time you personally checked your home

00:50:27.880 title?

00:50:29.160 If you're like me, the answer is

00:50:31.000 never.

00:50:31.600 And that's exactly what scammers are

00:50:34.040 counting on.

00:51:09.360 He identified an individual as the

00:51:11.860 roommate of Robinson.

00:51:13.580 Investigators interviewed that roommate

00:51:15.520 who stated that his roommate, referring

00:51:17.880 to Robinson, made a joke on Discord.

00:51:20.980 Investigators asked if he would show them

00:51:22.640 the messages on Discord.

00:51:24.080 He opened it and showed several messages

00:51:25.980 to investigators and allowed investigators

00:51:28.400 to take photos of the screen as each

00:51:30.600 message was shown by Robinson's roommate.

00:51:33.600 These photos consisted of various messages,

00:51:35.860 including content of messages between the

00:51:39.080 phone contact name, Tyler, with an emoji

00:51:41.700 icon, and Robinson's roommate's device.

00:51:45.040 The content of these messages included

00:51:48.080 messages affiliated with the contact, Tyler,

00:51:51.180 stating a need to retrieve a rifle from

00:51:53.900 a drop point, leaving the rifle in a bush,

00:51:57.720 messages related to visually watching the

00:52:01.300 area where a rifle was left, and a message

00:52:04.100 referring to having left the rifle wrapped

00:52:07.440 in a towel.

00:52:08.780 So the area north of Campus Drive Road

00:52:11.400 where the suspect crossed over, you saw

00:52:13.500 some of that in the video that we released

00:52:15.200 last night, consists of a grassy area with

00:52:17.660 trees on the edge of the UVU campus.

00:52:20.680 Investigators discovered a bolt-action rifle

00:52:22.900 wrapped in a dark-colored towel.

00:52:25.640 The rifle was determined to be a Mauser Model 98

00:52:28.580 .30-06 caliber bolt-action rifle.

00:52:32.120 The rifle had a scope mounted on top of it.

00:52:35.560 Investigators noted inscriptions that had been

00:52:37.640 engraved on casings found with the rifle.

00:52:41.440 Inscriptions on a fired casing read,

00:52:44.860 Notices Bulges, capital O-W-O,

00:52:48.820 what's this question mark?

00:52:50.740 Inscriptions on the three unfired casings read, 0.95

00:52:54.100 Hey Fascist! 0.55

00:52:54.860 Exclamation point, catch! 0.98

00:52:56.800 Exclamation point, up arrow symbol, right arrow

00:53:00.760 and three down arrow symbols.

00:53:05.000 A second unfired casing read,

00:53:07.280 Oh Bella Chow, Bella Chow, Bella Chow, Chow, Chow, Chow.

00:53:11.120 And a third unfired casing read, 1.00

00:53:13.720 If you read this, you are gay, L-M-A-O. 1.00

00:53:17.200 Okay, Matt Bowles with us, 1.00

00:53:21.540 Breitbart, the national political editor,

00:53:24.060 and Jack Posobiec joins us now by phone.

00:53:27.040 Jack, you are probably one of the top Antifa experts

00:53:31.320 in the country.

00:53:32.400 Obviously they didn't have the microphone

00:53:34.100 and they had the governor reading this.

00:53:36.020 For what reason?

00:53:36.940 I don't know.

00:53:38.000 Instead of law enforcement.

00:53:39.720 Let's go through,

00:53:41.080 first off, let's take the symbology first.

00:53:43.120 You're the best on this.

00:53:44.360 What is this symbology of Oh Bella Chow,

00:53:49.120 the song, the symbology, the arrows, all of that?

00:53:53.140 What does that lead us to believe, sir?

00:53:56.280 Well, Steve, first of all,

00:53:58.200 just obviously thank you to,

00:54:00.400 if it is true that the father who turned his son in,

00:54:03.320 obviously America is grateful for this.

00:54:07.520 Obviously everyone I'm talking to is very grateful for this.

00:54:11.120 Obviously a terrible act that no father should ever have to do.

00:54:14.360 Steve, when you talk about this symbology,

00:54:16.840 I've written several books about these subjects.

00:54:19.440 These are very familiar symbols within Antifa

00:54:23.500 and the worldwide left-wing Antifa subculture.

00:54:27.760 Things like, hey, fascist catch, obvious on its face.

00:54:32.080 Things like the song Bella Chow,

00:54:33.880 which grew out of anti-fascist movements in Italy

00:54:37.300 during World War II,

00:54:38.820 became popularized by Italian communists,

00:54:41.160 and then has grown at this point

00:54:43.300 to be something of a worldwide left-wing Antifa anthem.

00:54:48.580 Of course, Bella Chow,

00:54:49.740 it's a popular song in its own right,

00:54:51.840 I want to be clear,

00:54:52.840 but it's also very, very heavily favored

00:54:55.760 by Antifa groups.

00:54:58.120 Now, some of the other messaging in here,

00:54:59.940 this is directly related to other online subcultures,

00:55:03.680 which typically have,

00:55:05.060 and can have overlap with Antifa subcultures,

00:55:09.000 which is also an online phenomenon largely,

00:55:11.660 which then bleeds over into reality

00:55:14.340 in numerous instances,

00:55:16.080 and it appears that this is one of them, unfortunately,

00:55:19.180 where the very sexual writing is being used, 0.98

00:55:25.880 where these types of sexualities,

00:55:27.860 these ideas of gender fluidity,

00:55:29.960 furry culture, LGBT culture,

00:55:32.060 they are popularized on places like Reddit and Tumblr,

00:55:37.060 which I've written about extensively

00:55:38.480 at Human Events Daily,

00:55:40.000 and then also kind of feed into these online cultures,

00:55:45.020 and the fact that he was a Discord user

00:55:47.420 also kind of lends a sense to the profile

00:55:51.440 that seems to be being built here.

00:55:54.660 Explain to people then,

00:55:56.160 we're going to go to Discord right now,

00:55:57.660 explain to people what Discord is

00:55:59.380 and who uses it, sir.

00:56:02.060 Well, look, Discord, first and foremost,

00:56:04.860 is a platform for communication

00:56:06.700 during online video games,

00:56:08.580 and I certainly don't want to sit here

00:56:10.820 and say that using Discord

00:56:12.160 is going to cause someone

00:56:13.340 to use this type of activity.

00:56:16.240 It just points to somebody

00:56:18.100 who is a heavy internet user,

00:56:20.760 someone who is spending a lot of time online,

00:56:24.200 and typically these are things

00:56:26.860 that you see among that population group,

00:56:29.340 among Gen Z particularly,

00:56:30.520 but lots of other generations use it as well.

00:56:35.360 But also on Discord,

00:56:37.240 it's a place where these subgroups,

00:56:40.480 the ones that I was just kind of delineating,

00:56:42.300 furries, LGBT types,

00:56:45.680 Antifa types,

00:56:46.600 can use to be able to have

00:56:48.500 generally unmonitored conversations

00:56:50.760 because the Discord platform itself

00:56:52.760 is private.

00:56:54.800 It's not something that anyone,

00:56:55.940 it's open like Twitter or Facebook.

00:56:57.740 Jack, hang on for one second.

00:57:01.420 Just stick with me.

00:57:02.340 I know you're getting ready

00:57:02.960 for the 12 o'clock show.

00:57:04.660 Matt Bull,

00:57:05.200 I want to go to the Antifa

00:57:06.920 before we get to the roommate

00:57:09.020 and accessories and all that.

00:57:10.800 Let's, let's, let's, 0.88

00:57:11.700 your thoughts about the symbology,

00:57:14.420 which clearly people at the,

00:57:16.900 behind the microphone knew about,

00:57:18.420 but didn't come forward and say anything.

00:57:19.840 Let the governor, 0.98

00:57:20.480 who's clueless,

00:57:21.240 talk about it.

00:57:22.020 Your thoughts, sir?

00:57:22.820 Yeah, well, again,

00:57:24.180 we need to hear from law enforcement

00:57:25.880 more about this.

00:57:28.000 And, and, and frankly,

00:57:29.180 you know,

00:57:29.700 I think we've heard more

00:57:30.600 from President Trump

00:57:31.640 about this stuff

00:57:32.580 in the last couple of days,

00:57:34.280 you know,

00:57:35.020 with the video he did the other night

00:57:36.840 when this first happened.

00:57:39.100 And then later

00:57:40.620 in this Fox and Friends interview,

00:57:42.360 et cetera,

00:57:43.040 I think we need to hear

00:57:44.520 from our Justice Department friends,

00:57:47.620 from the FBI, et cetera,

00:57:49.420 about what they're doing

00:57:51.340 to do something

00:57:52.880 about this radical ideology

00:57:55.080 that is infecting our country

00:57:57.480 and, and young people.

00:57:59.300 It's in particular, right?

00:58:00.600 Like, so we need to see action.

00:58:01.920 Congress should maybe convene

00:58:03.800 a special panel about this.

00:58:07.900 Hang on, hang on.

00:58:08.940 Just stick Matt Bowles with us.

00:58:11.040 He's going to have to bounce.

00:58:12.020 We're going to take a short commercial,

00:58:12.980 right?

00:58:13.200 Poso.

00:58:13.920 I got a recommendation.

00:58:15.160 How about they were good

00:58:16.140 kicking down doors

00:58:17.080 of traditional Catholics

00:58:18.460 and MAGA folks?

00:58:20.160 How about this? 0.97

00:58:20.620 How about go kick down

00:58:21.440 some doors today in Antifa?

00:58:23.140 You know where they are.

00:58:24.140 Let's start rounding them up.

00:58:25.820 Let's round them up today.

00:58:27.520 You're such tough guys

00:58:28.500 on traditional Catholics.

00:58:29.660 You're tough guys on MAGA.

00:58:32.260 You're tough guys

00:58:33.080 on 70-year-old grandmothers

00:58:34.560 that are praying the rosary

00:58:36.180 outside of abortion centers.

00:58:37.900 Hey, tough guys,

00:58:39.140 why don't you step up 0.80

00:58:39.800 to the frickin' microphone 0.74

00:58:40.800 and tell us exactly 0.71

00:58:42.460 who these radicals are

00:58:43.760 and go kick down some doors

00:58:45.220 and let's see people

00:58:46.220 in handcuffs this afternoon.

00:58:48.460 No, governor,

00:58:49.360 we're not going to have

00:58:49.860 a group hug.

00:58:51.420 You go have a group hug.

00:58:53.080 We ain't going to have

00:58:53.900 a group hug.

00:58:54.580 No need for a hug.

00:58:55.860 We're at war.

00:58:57.120 Short break.

00:58:58.040 Boyle, Posobiec,

00:58:59.340 Alex Jones,

00:59:00.000 next in The Word.

00:59:00.620 Hey, we're human.

00:59:11.240 All too human.

00:59:14.860 You don't always eat healthy.
