Transcript

00:00:00.000 on just how the Biden Justice Department approached these cases surrounding Trump.
00:00:05.720 Talk to us about some of what you found.
00:00:08.060 You know, what Aaron and I found in injustice was like a tragedy in three acts.
00:00:12.420 And the second act is the Biden administration and its desire to turn the page.
00:00:17.880 Attorney General Merrick Garland, well-intentioned, incredibly respected jurist,
00:00:22.900 doesn't go to the Supreme Court, but becomes the attorney general for Joe Biden.
00:00:27.200 And what he concludes is we have to stay away from looking partisan.
00:00:32.220 We have to do something different than what Donald Trump did
00:00:34.960 and make sure that this institution is above politics.
00:00:38.980 But the problem was it delayed looking directly at the evidence that you all saw and knew
00:00:44.860 that he was engaged in a crime to overturn a free and fair election.
00:00:50.080 A little bit more of what President Obama said just around this issue of how much worse it is,
00:00:55.560 basically, than what people thought.
00:00:58.860 You know, a lot of people have asked me lately whether I am surprised at the direction the country has taken.
00:01:08.500 And even though I'm the hope and change guy, I want to be honest with them.
00:01:16.700 And so I admit to them that I have cause for deep concern.
00:01:25.300 I admit to them that I'm worried about how quickly basic democratic rules and norms have been weakened.
00:01:31.500 We don't need to speculate about the dangers to our democracy.
00:01:37.220 They're here.
00:01:38.020 We don't need to wonder if harm is going to be done to vulnerable people
00:01:47.060 or whether the public conversation will become meaner and coarser.
00:01:54.240 We're witnessing it.
00:01:58.240 Elections matter.
00:02:00.280 And they matter to you.
00:02:02.560 And they matter to your family.
00:02:04.380 We are being tested.
00:02:15.660 And what is remarkable about America
00:02:19.880 is that it gives us the power
00:02:26.580 as citizens to change this country.
00:02:31.560 We all have more power than we sometimes imagine.
00:02:37.560 We just got to use it.
00:02:40.020 So if you believe in that better story of America,
00:02:44.280 you cannot sit this one out.
00:02:46.000 It drove me crazy how long they took
00:02:48.620 and how long Garland took.
00:02:51.240 He was being so hyper careful,
00:02:53.560 which is so ironic when you look at what's going on right now in the Justice Department.
00:02:57.980 It's worse than I could have possibly imagined.
00:03:00.660 As somebody who spent the formative years of my career
00:03:03.400 in a criminal courtroom doing state and local crimes,
00:03:06.660 as the elected DA in Kansas City working with the feds,
00:03:09.820 I want you to talk about what is going on in the District of Columbia right now.
00:03:14.300 I don't think most Americans understand
00:03:16.200 that it is the only jurisdiction in the country that handles violent crime.
00:03:20.600 Federal jurisdiction.
00:03:21.940 Because violent crime is handled by state prosecutors across America.
00:03:26.520 Not the feds.
00:03:27.700 The FBI doesn't get a 911 call when there's a murder.
00:03:30.400 The local police departments do.
00:03:32.260 And in D.C., those cases have always gone to a state system.
00:03:36.860 And now Piro is trying to shoehorn low-level state crimes
00:03:42.800 into federal crimes with years in the penitentiary
00:03:46.680 for stuff that in most jurisdictions in the country
00:03:49.660 would get you maybe six months in the county jail.
00:03:52.860 Well, you know...
00:03:53.340 What is happening there?
00:03:54.660 Well, I mean, a lot of the justice that we're seeing
00:03:57.680 in the U.S. attorney's offices, especially in D.C.,
00:04:00.360 but also other big deal ones, New York, Newark,
00:04:04.780 there is an effort to do justice for PR.
00:04:08.540 You know, a lot of the U.S. attorneys that Donald Trump has chosen
00:04:11.500 are moving to, you know, what's going to get me on TV
00:04:15.960 and what's going to please Donald Trump.
00:04:18.220 And it's not prosecuting corrupt public officials, right?
00:04:22.960 What we learned was Aaron and I,
00:04:25.300 they eviscerated the public integrity section.
00:04:28.680 They eviscerated places where we usually focused our energies.
00:04:34.140 Corporate fraud.
00:04:35.320 People that are losing tons of money.
00:04:39.200 Malfeasance.
00:04:39.860 All sorts of teams like this, we learned, are getting gutted.
00:04:43.120 And Donald Trump is doing that gleefully
00:04:45.480 through his lieutenants like Gene Perrault.
00:04:47.680 More recently, Americans have been watching videos of ICE
00:04:50.760 tackling a young mother,
00:04:53.040 tear gas being used in a Chicago residential neighborhood,
00:04:56.580 and the smashing of car windows.
00:04:58.980 Have some of these raids gone too far?
00:05:01.380 No, I think they haven't gone far enough
00:05:03.480 because we've been held back by the judges,
00:05:06.280 by the liberal judges that were put in by Biden and by Obama.
00:05:10.500 You're okay with those tactics?
00:05:12.220 Yeah, because you have to get the people out.
00:05:13.840 You know, you have to look at the people.
00:05:15.420 Many of them are murderers.
00:05:17.140 Many of them are people that were thrown out of their countries
00:05:19.980 because they were, you know, criminals.
00:05:21.780 Well, you promised in your campaign
00:05:23.320 that you were going to deport the worst of the worst.
00:05:26.160 Violent criminals, rapists.
00:05:27.840 Well, that's what we're doing.
00:05:28.380 But a lot of the people that your administration has arrested
00:05:31.040 and deported aren't violent criminals.
00:05:33.760 Landscapers, nannies, construction workers,
00:05:36.400 farm workers, the family of U.S. service members.
00:05:40.020 I need landscapers and I need farmers more than anybody, okay?
00:05:42.460 Is it your intent to deport people
00:05:45.140 who do not have a criminal record?
00:05:47.140 We have to start off with a policy,
00:05:50.100 and the policy has to be you came into the country illegally,
00:05:52.960 you're going to go out.
00:05:53.780 However, you've also seen you're going to go out,
00:05:57.680 we're going to work with you,
00:05:58.640 and you're going to come back into our country legally.
00:06:00.940 It's actually very important that there are multiple agencies involved,
00:06:04.840 and the reason it's very important is because last week
00:06:07.700 there was a major purge at ICE
00:06:09.640 with a lot of career ICE officials taken out of leadership roles
00:06:14.320 and a lot of Border Patrol and Customs and Border Protection officials
00:06:17.960 being put in to oversee ICE offices in their place.
00:06:21.440 The reason that that's really important,
00:06:23.180 a lot of the most aggressive tactics we've seen
00:06:25.360 have been from Border Patrol.
00:06:26.900 That Evanston video that we showed earlier,
00:06:29.700 that was, you actually saw the U.S. Border Patrol patch
00:06:32.960 on the sleeve of the man who was pitting down that,
00:06:36.000 protesting U.S. citizens.
00:06:37.420 So it's not just that, you know,
00:06:39.880 there isn't a whole lot of interest in holding agents accountable,
00:06:44.640 but that there is affirmative rewarding
00:06:47.240 of the agency that's been engaging in the most aggressive tactics.
00:06:51.200 Lesson one for 2025.
00:06:52.560 Pay attention right now so that you can mobilize fast.
00:06:54.880 So what does that look like?
00:06:57.380 Well, volunteer as a poll worker or an election observer.
00:07:00.160 Register voters through local civic organizations.
00:07:02.620 The math is simple.
00:07:03.400 The more people vote, the harder it is to overturn those votes.
00:07:07.100 Number two, create voter buddy systems,
00:07:09.000 especially for neighbors who fear intimidation at the polls.
00:07:11.940 One tactic experts are worried about
00:07:13.540 is the potential deployment of ICE agents to polling places.
00:07:17.100 You can see why some qualified Latino voters,
00:07:21.200 never mind Latino voters,
00:07:22.300 anybody who's a little bit brown like me,
00:07:24.220 wouldn't want to get caught up in a raid,
00:07:25.880 thrown into detention until they can clear their names
00:07:28.400 just for going out to vote.
00:07:30.860 Build local rapid response teams,
00:07:32.780 groups of ordinary citizens who show up
00:07:34.620 as they're doing in courts right now,
00:07:36.440 at county meetings, at certification hearings,
00:07:38.360 at voter drop boxes.
00:07:39.880 Your physical presence is a deterrent
00:07:43.580 to improper and illegal behavior.
00:07:46.000 Follow what's happening in other states.
00:07:48.520 That's why these elections on Tuesday are so important,
00:07:50.460 whether you live in one of them or not.
00:07:52.400 The military deployments, attempted voter purges,
00:07:55.060 the election monitors,
00:07:56.060 consider them all trial runs for the bigger play,
00:07:59.660 the one that's going to happen right where you live.
00:08:01.920 And finally, do not let Donald Trump and Republicans
00:08:07.380 normalize talk of a third term.
00:08:10.860 A third presidential term is illegal, full stop.
00:08:16.420 So when that one uncle floats a third term loophole conspiracy
00:08:20.260 over Thanksgiving dinner, don't let it slide.
00:08:23.140 And if your uncle insists that it's doable,
00:08:25.360 hand him one of these, a pocket constitution,
00:08:27.840 opened to the 22nd Amendment, Section 1,
00:08:30.540 which reads, quote,
00:08:31.720 no person shall be elected to the office of the president
00:08:34.500 more than twice.
00:08:37.340 The second power grab is already underway.
00:08:40.840 It's being rehearsed right now in Chicago streets,
00:08:43.740 at California's polling places,
00:08:45.460 in courtrooms across the country.
00:08:47.000 But we can stop it
00:08:48.820 because we're reading the script in real time
00:08:52.500 and because we've stopped it before.
00:08:55.400 This is the primal scream of a dying regime.
00:09:03.000 Pray for our enemies
00:09:04.180 because we're going medieval on these people.
00:09:08.220 Here's the reason I got a free shot
00:09:09.400 at all these networks lying about the people.
00:09:12.480 The people have had a belly full of it.
00:09:14.380 I know you don't like hearing that.
00:09:15.820 I know you try to do everything in the world to stop that,
00:09:17.560 but you're not going to stop it.
00:09:18.500 It's going to happen.
00:09:19.540 And where do people like that go to share the big line?
00:09:23.180 Mega Media.
00:09:24.500 I wish in my soul,
00:09:26.320 I wish that any of these people had a conscience.
00:09:29.960 Ask yourself,
00:09:30.980 what is my task and what is my purpose?
00:09:33.700 If that answer is to save my country,
00:09:36.920 this country will be saved.
00:09:40.040 War Room.
00:09:40.920 Here's your host, Stephen K. Vance.
00:09:43.340 It is Monday, 3 November,
00:09:50.860 and the year of the Lord 2025
00:09:51.840 is the fifth anniversary of the Big Steel.
00:09:55.280 Remember where you were about this time five years ago?
00:09:59.480 Remember that?
00:10:01.040 It's important that you do.
00:10:03.420 It's important you remember everything about that
00:10:05.560 because this fight is ongoing.
00:10:09.740 It's not going to end with any one election.
00:10:12.200 It's just not.
00:10:13.340 It's not the way the country is.
00:10:15.800 It's not the way the process of history
00:10:17.420 happens to unfold.
00:10:21.480 And we're going to have good days
00:10:22.980 and we're going to have days that are not as good.
00:10:26.640 Tomorrow may be one of those.
00:10:28.160 I don't know.
00:10:29.780 I spent all afternoon talking to folks in Jersey
00:10:32.360 and the Commonwealth
00:10:33.060 who are talking about, you know,
00:10:36.160 huge representations tomorrow at the polls.
00:10:38.140 We've got a big get-out-the-vote effort.
00:10:39.680 We'll have to see.
00:10:41.600 It's President of the United States.
00:10:42.780 When we finish here at 7,
00:10:43.860 the President's going to do back-to-back,
00:10:45.440 one at 7 and one at 7.30, close to the press.
00:10:48.600 But the President will get on and do teletown halls
00:10:53.440 in the Commonwealth of Virginia
00:10:55.480 and the state of New Jersey
00:10:56.760 to try to assist and motivate
00:10:59.100 everybody's got to get to work tomorrow.
00:11:01.100 We're going to be here at 9 p.m. tomorrow.
00:11:03.880 Studio 6B is going to be right before us.
00:11:06.100 They're going to kick off the coverage at 7
00:11:08.060 in front of a live audience up in New York.
00:11:11.620 We will pick up with wall-to-wall coverage
00:11:13.740 all over the country,
00:11:15.140 from everything from the judge situation in Pennsylvania
00:11:17.800 to these constitutional amendments
00:11:20.080 down in Texas for the state constitution,
00:11:22.680 I think they are,
00:11:23.320 and of course the five state senators,
00:11:26.340 including Lee Wamsgans and others.
00:11:30.400 California will be going through at least to midnight
00:11:33.660 or to California's call,
00:11:35.800 or at least we can tell California.
00:11:37.580 I think that will be pretty evident
00:11:38.580 coming right out of the box of where that's at.
00:11:41.560 Remember, President Trump's doing teletown halls
00:11:44.400 because none of these groups wanted to integrate
00:11:47.420 President Trump into their campaign
00:11:48.940 because they say,
00:11:50.340 well, he motivates the left.
00:11:51.800 Well, they're going to do that anyway.
00:11:53.980 All of this is to stop Trump,
00:11:55.580 to thwart Trump in the age of Trump.
00:11:59.300 You saw right there,
00:12:00.120 so Ali, here's your response.
00:12:03.320 You know, Ali Veltje.
00:12:04.240 And one thing I do admire about Ali,
00:12:06.200 he's, I think,
00:12:07.540 one of the hardest working guys in media.
00:12:10.180 You can tell he always takes it.
00:12:11.700 He gets a call to do the night show.
00:12:13.440 He does a night show.
00:12:14.120 He does Friday night sometime,
00:12:15.380 the 11 o'clock.
00:12:16.840 You know, if Stephanie Rule's taking the night off,
00:12:18.340 he used to do that
00:12:19.200 and then be up,
00:12:20.860 I think his show's 8 in the morning.
00:12:22.500 It's a good show.
00:12:23.260 It's a good show because he lays out
00:12:25.680 what they're doing.
00:12:27.340 And there's not a lot of happy talk.
00:12:28.620 You saw right there at the end,
00:12:30.140 is that the same motivational speech
00:12:31.800 that we've given people a million times?
00:12:34.520 Is this the same way we got up off the floor in,
00:12:37.840 we got up off the floor in,
00:12:41.180 after Trump's,
00:12:41.900 the election was stolen 20, 25 years ago
00:12:43.900 and fought back
00:12:44.720 with the precinct strategy, all that?
00:12:48.340 You know,
00:12:49.660 we're actually going to go to a,
00:12:51.200 Donna Jean Godshaw,
00:12:57.240 the singer for The Grateful Dead.
00:12:59.900 Controversial because her and her husband
00:13:01.480 came in after the dead,
00:13:03.940 what,
00:13:04.780 Europe tour of 72
00:13:06.180 after Pigpen,
00:13:08.340 I don't know,
00:13:08.740 took some time off.
00:13:10.980 Her husband was a keyboard player.
00:13:13.200 She was a singer.
00:13:13.960 She started as a backup singer
00:13:15.980 to Elvis Presley.
00:13:20.840 She's the backup vocals here
00:13:22.440 for Suspicious Minds from 1969.
00:13:27.280 She died
00:13:27.860 at what,
00:13:29.020 76 years old?
00:13:31.380 Incredible.
00:13:33.160 Quite controversial.
00:13:34.440 My buddies and I,
00:13:35.120 who are deadheads,
00:13:36.020 had a big crush on her.
00:13:37.260 And they were not,
00:13:40.220 they didn't think,
00:13:41.340 they didn't think The Grateful Dead
00:13:42.840 needed a female singer.
00:13:44.020 Let's say that.
00:13:45.360 From 1969,
00:13:47.360 Suspicious Minds,
00:13:48.620 Donna Jean Godshaw.
00:13:50.780 Dead,
00:13:51.340 I think it's 76 years old.
00:13:53.420 We're going to take a short break.
00:13:54.520 You can enjoy this.
00:13:55.680 We're going to be back.
00:13:56.600 Jeffrey Tucker joins us next
00:13:58.240 in the War Room.
00:13:59.540 And I will continue my rant.
00:14:00.720 We're suspicious minds
00:14:04.760 And we can build our dreams
00:14:10.480 On suspicious minds
00:14:14.180 Oh, let our love survive
00:14:19.360 Oh, dry the tears from the wind
00:14:25.040 Yes, don't let a good thing die
00:14:29.240 When, honey,
00:14:32.720 You know I've never
00:14:34.340 Lied to you
00:14:36.860 Mmm
00:14:38.280 Yeah
00:14:41.780 We're caught in a trap
00:14:47.000 I can't walk out
00:14:51.440 Because I love you too much, baby
00:14:59.240 I want to tell you about
00:15:00.760 A new offer
00:15:01.620 From our sponsor
00:15:02.600 Birch Gold
00:15:03.220 Veterans Day Free Silver

00:16:55.620 That song is so amazing
00:16:57.500 What a
00:16:57.960 I mean Elvis Presley
00:16:59.700 And what a
00:17:01.020 What a hit
00:17:01.680 What a song
00:17:02.360 Backup singer
00:17:04.120 We may have to play
00:17:04.640 That one again
00:17:05.060 We are going to play
00:17:05.680 Some of her music
00:17:06.340 From the actual dead
00:17:07.880 Like I said
00:17:08.840 It was pretty controversial
00:17:09.680 But
00:17:10.240 And a southern girl too
00:17:13.980 From Alabama
00:17:14.660 Jeffrey Tucker
00:17:16.180 Joins us now
00:17:17.020 Jeffrey
00:17:17.440 What I love about you
00:17:18.400 You're one of our
00:17:19.220 You and Roger Kimball
00:17:20.680 We got a handful of
00:17:21.860 Towering public intellectuals
00:17:24.760 That are pure MAGA
00:17:25.860 And pure
00:17:26.420 Make America healthy again
00:17:27.920 You had a
00:17:29.380 So I had two tweets
00:17:30.920 To deal with the
00:17:32.080 Snap situation
00:17:32.960 I had the vice
00:17:34.080 Roy
00:17:34.400 Mike Davis's
00:17:35.960 That was so snarky
00:17:37.260 And so over the top
00:17:38.400 In fact
00:17:39.200 Michael Shea
00:17:40.000 Of Saturday Night Live
00:17:40.960 Retweeted it
00:17:41.900 It was
00:17:42.200 It was so bad
00:17:43.400 And you had a very
00:17:44.760 Intellectual take on this
00:17:46.180 Talk to me
00:17:47.240 If we can put up that tweet
00:17:48.320 Talk to me
00:17:49.120 This tweet
00:17:49.980 Was very powerful
00:17:51.840 About the American experience
00:17:53.120 You've really thought
00:17:54.600 This snap thing through
00:17:55.680 And it's more than just
00:17:56.840 Oh let's get back in
00:17:58.020 And pay half
00:17:58.780 And do all that
00:17:59.380 There's something deeply
00:18:00.580 Profoundly wrong about that
00:18:02.680 And there are people
00:18:03.420 That need this
00:18:04.040 Obviously
00:18:04.600 You know
00:18:05.320 It's not about
00:18:05.900 Color or race
00:18:07.080 There's a lot of white
00:18:08.040 Working class folks
00:18:09.220 That need it
00:18:09.620 But there's something
00:18:10.340 Deeply troubling
00:18:11.640 About this
00:18:12.660 And the companies
00:18:13.400 That make money off it
00:18:14.480 And the big push
00:18:15.380 To make sure it happens
00:18:17.500 Your thoughts
00:18:18.180 Well it's a disgrace
00:18:20.040 That this country
00:18:21.140 Is a panic
00:18:21.740 Over the loss
00:18:22.520 Of snap benefits
00:18:23.920 It's contrary
00:18:25.480 To American heritage
00:18:26.600 We're a nation
00:18:28.560 Rooted in agronomy
00:18:29.680 You need to read
00:18:30.440 Thomas Jefferson
00:18:31.160 To discover that
00:18:32.000 We've abandoned that
00:18:33.180 And apparently
00:18:34.140 We've abandoned
00:18:34.780 Some of the ethos
00:18:35.940 That was attached to that
00:18:36.940 Which was about
00:18:37.640 The capacity of a people
00:18:39.040 To feed itself
00:18:40.600 With independence
00:18:42.100 And dignity
00:18:43.220 Not live off
00:18:44.560 Government handouts
00:18:45.640 So it's a grave
00:18:47.180 Embarrassment
00:18:48.880 And I think
00:18:50.200 As a nation
00:18:51.240 We should be
00:18:51.900 Embarrassed internationally
00:18:53.080 If it's true
00:18:54.420 That we have to live off
00:18:55.780 Government subsidies
00:18:56.620 As one in ten people
00:18:58.240 In this country are doing
00:18:59.060 And I agree with you
00:19:00.420 And this is not
00:19:01.220 The same thing as charity
00:19:02.120 It's one thing
00:19:02.980 To have a soup kitchen
00:19:03.920 Or a pantry
00:19:05.260 At the local church
00:19:06.240 That's good American stuff
00:19:08.600 But you know
00:19:10.020 Just grabbing your EBT
00:19:12.320 And swiping your card
00:19:14.660 All the time
00:19:15.180 For your free food
00:19:16.420 And then getting mad
00:19:17.540 When it doesn't arrive
00:19:19.000 That indicates
00:19:20.360 A kind of a rot
00:19:21.760 At the heart
00:19:22.400 Of the American soul
00:19:23.420 I said in my tweet
00:19:25.100 That you know
00:19:25.620 Our greatest national holiday
00:19:27.200 The one that everybody
00:19:28.160 Truly loves
00:19:29.600 Is not overtly religious
00:19:32.260 It's called Thanksgiving
00:19:34.260 And it's about
00:19:35.280 Our capacity
00:19:36.120 To produce food
00:19:37.600 For ourselves
00:19:38.200 That's what we're
00:19:38.900 That's what we're
00:19:39.700 Thankful for
00:19:40.380 We're thankful
00:19:40.840 For God's bounty
00:19:42.080 That we're able
00:19:44.740 To produce
00:19:45.280 With our own hands
00:19:46.560 And we celebrate that
00:19:48.400 It's quasi-religious
00:19:49.680 It's more like
00:19:50.360 Part of our civic culture
00:19:52.200 But SNAP benefits
00:19:54.160 Food stamps
00:19:54.900 The EBT
00:19:55.360 Whatever you want
00:19:55.960 To call it
00:19:56.380 Runs contrary
00:19:57.320 To the whole ethos
00:19:58.900 Of our greatest
00:19:59.660 National holiday
00:20:00.520 And the spirit
00:20:02.360 Of America itself
00:20:03.380 And a separate tweet
00:20:05.180 Which you hadn't
00:20:07.400 I don't know
00:20:07.980 If you saw it
00:20:08.620 But I don't think
00:20:09.860 People understand
00:20:10.760 This program
00:20:12.160 Is run out
00:20:12.820 Of the Department
00:20:13.520 Of Agriculture
00:20:14.720 For a reason
00:20:15.900 It's always been
00:20:18.100 An industrial subsidy
00:20:19.620 Ever since 1933
00:20:21.060 Yes
00:20:21.480 From the first
00:20:23.200 New deal subsidies
00:20:24.340 What happened
00:20:24.820 Is that the price
00:20:25.520 Of grain
00:20:25.860 The price of milk
00:20:26.540 And all these things
00:20:27.120 Began to fall
00:20:27.820 Because of the
00:20:28.940 Great Depression
00:20:29.520 And FDR saw a chance
00:20:33.700 To both help industry
00:20:35.340 And buy votes
00:20:36.500 Okay
00:20:37.000 So that was the origin
00:20:38.200 With the Agriculture
00:20:39.800 Adjustment Act
00:20:41.820 Of giving out
00:20:42.780 Free food to people
00:20:43.680 So it wasn't
00:20:44.340 Really about helping people
00:20:46.680 This is not charity
00:20:48.400 It was an industrial subsidy
00:20:51.040 Run out of the
00:20:52.060 Department of Agriculture
00:20:52.920 And today
00:20:54.060 A lot of the source
00:20:55.240 Of the panic
00:20:55.920 And the screaming
00:20:57.040 And the gnashing of teeth
00:20:58.320 And all the hydrogen
00:20:59.940 About this
00:21:01.020 Is actually
00:21:02.040 Coming from
00:21:03.100 Industry
00:21:03.820 At two levels
00:21:04.820 One is the producer side
00:21:06.640 The overproduction
00:21:08.280 Of these grains
00:21:09.080 Which is a national
00:21:11.100 Problem
00:21:12.300 Stemming from the
00:21:13.280 Early 1970s
00:21:14.600 They need markets
00:21:16.180 For this stuff
00:21:16.800 So the government
00:21:17.480 Is the market
00:21:18.180 And the other
00:21:18.840 Is the retail seller
00:21:20.640 And every retail grocery store
00:21:23.620 Is dependent
00:21:24.220 Very heavily right now
00:21:25.860 On
00:21:26.720 On getting these
00:21:27.660 Industrial subsidies
00:21:28.660 That come in the form
00:21:29.620 Of SNAP benefits
00:21:30.580 And then
00:21:31.660 The politicians
00:21:33.120 Benefit
00:21:33.800 Because
00:21:34.400 Because they keep
00:21:35.780 A portion
00:21:37.380 Of the population
00:21:38.380 Dependent
00:21:39.760 And compliant
00:21:40.560 And
00:21:40.900 You know
00:21:41.960 I
00:21:42.240 Like you Steve
00:21:43.360 Like yes
00:21:44.040 Some people
00:21:44.480 Some people need them
00:21:45.580 And I'm all for that
00:21:47.260 You know
00:21:47.540 That's
00:21:47.960 Better that we
00:21:49.260 The nation has to be able
00:21:50.860 To feed its people
00:21:51.600 But
00:21:52.520 I'm just saying
00:21:53.560 Structurally
00:21:54.340 This is
00:21:55.640 It highlights
00:21:56.820 A grave problem
00:21:58.420 In this country
00:21:59.140 When you would have
00:22:00.080 In a country
00:22:00.840 Of free enterprise
00:22:02.680 And independence
00:22:04.080 And commerce
00:22:04.840 And pride
00:22:05.540 And the great thing
00:22:07.520 Called Thanksgiving
00:22:08.160 Holiday
00:22:08.700 Adored all over the world
00:22:10.180 By the way
00:22:10.840 And legendary
00:22:11.840 All over the world
00:22:12.660 Some of our greatest
00:22:13.480 Artwork comes out of
00:22:14.460 Thanksgiving
00:22:14.820 Our greatest
00:22:15.740 National civic culture
00:22:18.060 Stems from Thanksgiving
00:22:19.180 That you would have
00:22:20.160 A population screaming
00:22:21.260 Give us our free food
00:22:22.720 Don't take away
00:22:23.620 My benefits
00:22:24.280 I think it just
00:22:25.740 Highlights
00:22:26.340 A rot
00:22:27.520 That we have to fix
00:22:28.460 It was Peter Schweitzer
00:22:30.400 Chairman of Government
00:22:32.360 Accountability
00:22:32.980 And Peter
00:22:33.400 Is obviously
00:22:34.200 The lead researcher
00:22:35.000 And the author
00:22:35.500 Down there
00:22:36.040 He brought to my
00:22:37.680 Attention
00:22:38.060 That the folks
00:22:39.760 That drive this
00:22:40.320 On Capitol Hill
00:22:40.860 Are not the poor people
00:22:41.660 Because they don't
00:22:42.040 Really have a voice
00:22:42.660 It's both what you said
00:22:44.200 It's the candy
00:22:45.880 And snack manufacturers
00:22:48.280 And it's the Walmarts
00:22:49.440 Right
00:22:50.260 Which
00:22:50.760 This thing's a racket
00:22:51.900 Now you're tied to
00:22:53.960 You know
00:22:54.580 What I read in the press
00:22:56.060 Is that you've staffed
00:22:57.320 The entire Maha movement
00:22:59.320 Inside the government
00:23:00.280 You're all for
00:23:01.780 I'm a puff of tears
00:23:02.880 Steve
00:23:03.240 I mean I'm running
00:23:04.160 Everything here
00:23:05.000 I said I knew
00:23:06.580 I know Jeffrey
00:23:07.480 I didn't realize
00:23:08.100 He was running
00:23:08.680 That aspect of it
00:23:09.500 No but you're
00:23:10.060 You're very influential
00:23:11.260 You're going to be down
00:23:12.540 At the Children's Health
00:23:13.280 Defense Conference
00:23:14.040 As we're going to do
00:23:14.840 Two days live
00:23:15.880 From down there
00:23:16.440 You're a huge supporter
00:23:17.900 What I think
00:23:19.040 Nicole Shanahan
00:23:20.240 And Bobby Kennedy
00:23:21.120 One of the most important things
00:23:22.360 That the movement has done
00:23:23.400 Is this direct connection
00:23:25.420 Between the soil
00:23:26.520 And food
00:23:27.880 And what we eat
00:23:28.880 And how healthy
00:23:30.000 Or unhealthy we are
00:23:31.120 The SNAP is known
00:23:32.820 As the most unhealthy
00:23:33.880 You know
00:23:34.360 They're buying the most unhealthy
00:23:35.500 Food in the world
00:23:36.000 And they've tried to stop it
00:23:37.500 But who knows
00:23:38.340 If we're being stopped or not
00:23:39.240 What do we say
00:23:40.960 When we have an industrial
00:23:41.900 I think it's 25%
00:23:43.460 25% of Walmart's
00:23:45.640 Like operating profits
00:23:47.020 Come out of SNAP benefits
00:23:48.380 Because they're buying
00:23:49.040 The high margin
00:23:49.860 You know
00:23:50.780 Junk
00:23:51.300 That we put in our system
00:23:52.840 How can we
00:23:53.940 Really make America
00:23:55.620 Healthy again
00:23:56.360 And force some
00:23:57.180 Radical changes
00:23:58.160 To SNAP
00:23:58.720 Besides kicking off
00:23:59.740 All the illegal aliens
00:24:00.980 But make sure
00:24:02.000 If people are going
00:24:03.300 To use this benefit
00:24:04.340 That it's really
00:24:05.480 That they're eating clean
00:24:07.320 Yeah
00:24:09.360 Well
00:24:09.780 I agree
00:24:12.440 That we do need
00:24:13.260 Some kind of way
00:24:14.460 To channel these benefits
00:24:15.940 Into healthier food
00:24:17.460 In the long run
00:24:18.060 That's better for people
00:24:19.020 And it's better
00:24:19.780 For the system
00:24:20.480 As a whole
00:24:21.820 It just doesn't make sense
00:24:23.080 The way the system
00:24:23.820 Works right now
00:24:24.660 Where
00:24:25.040 The worst food
00:24:26.740 Gets the highest subsidies
00:24:28.420 Courtesy of the taxpayer
00:24:29.840 An industrial subsidy
00:24:31.860 To the snack food industry
00:24:33.120 Is not really
00:24:33.900 What we should be going for
00:24:35.260 So
00:24:35.760 I agree with that
00:24:37.380 It's not the regenerative farmers
00:24:39.060 Who are benefiting
00:24:39.780 From SNAP benefits
00:24:40.940 By the way
00:24:41.500 It's all the kinds of things
00:24:44.120 That are being produced
00:24:44.940 With subsidies
00:24:45.580 In any case
00:24:46.960 And probably wouldn't
00:24:48.260 Really be produced
00:24:49.340 Without them
00:24:49.980 So
00:24:50.360 The whole system
00:24:52.000 Is just kind of
00:24:52.680 An industrial racket
00:24:55.100 I think you described
00:24:56.220 It really well
00:24:56.980 And that's what people
00:24:57.680 I tell you Steve
00:24:58.900 I've changed my mind
00:24:59.740 About a lot of
00:25:00.540 Things over the last
00:25:02.260 Few years
00:25:03.920 But one of the things
00:25:04.780 I've come to realize
00:25:05.600 Is how much of
00:25:06.420 Government
00:25:07.360 Is actually
00:25:08.460 Industry
00:25:09.420 You know
00:25:10.460 Once you begin
00:25:11.400 To look at it
00:25:12.120 There's
00:25:13.000 There's not this
00:25:14.080 Sort of separate thing
00:25:14.900 Called government
00:25:15.460 That's seeking to do
00:25:16.420 Good for the people
00:25:17.240 What it is
00:25:19.320 Is a series
00:25:19.820 Of industrial cartels
00:25:21.200 Using
00:25:22.200 Levers of power
00:25:23.720 To gain profits
00:25:25.560 At public expense
00:25:26.920 Right
00:25:27.240 So once you conceive
00:25:28.840 Of government
00:25:29.740 That way
00:25:30.260 And I promise you
00:25:31.160 No textbook
00:25:32.000 Describes it that way
00:25:33.060 Right
00:25:33.680 You're not going to
00:25:34.260 Read about this
00:25:34.880 By the great
00:25:35.860 Political philosophers
00:25:36.840 They won't tell you this
00:25:37.800 But that's the
00:25:39.060 On the ground
00:25:39.960 Reality of Washington
00:25:41.240 It's there to serve
00:25:42.800 Big business
00:25:43.780 And big industry
00:25:45.160 And the big
00:25:46.380 Industrial players
00:25:47.720 They're the people
00:25:48.720 With power in Washington
00:25:49.960 That is just
00:25:51.100 And that's true
00:25:52.620 Throughout public health
00:25:53.740 Especially
00:25:54.160 It's true with
00:25:54.760 Pharmaceuticals
00:25:55.760 But it's also true
00:25:56.860 In agriculture
00:25:57.520 And that's the
00:25:58.320 Really great contribution
00:25:59.880 That Nicole Shanahan
00:26:01.060 And RFK
00:26:01.720 And many others
00:26:02.740 Have made
00:26:03.300 Is helping me see that
00:26:04.940 And helping other people
00:26:05.740 See that
00:26:06.240 You have a keen eye
00:26:08.380 For the culture
00:26:09.660 Would you agree
00:26:12.320 And I think
00:26:12.660 Mondami
00:26:13.280 This election
00:26:14.460 He should have
00:26:15.920 If he can close it tomorrow
00:26:17.040 I think Cuomo
00:26:17.860 Is definitely closing
00:26:18.960 Because I think people
00:26:19.580 Now awaken to the panic here
00:26:21.200 We used to be
00:26:23.400 In managed decline
00:26:24.280 By the elites
00:26:25.600 Are there aspects
00:26:27.000 You're seeing now
00:26:27.900 We've got about a minute here
00:26:28.900 And I'd love to hold you
00:26:29.580 Through the break
00:26:30.060 That you see that
00:26:30.800 We're actually more
00:26:31.780 Rapid decline
00:26:33.160 Or maybe even free fall
00:26:34.220 In certain areas
00:26:35.160 Well okay
00:26:36.960 Well I thought you were
00:26:37.700 Going to say
00:26:37.980 What are the good parts
00:26:38.800 And I was preparing
00:26:39.500 A little talk on that
00:26:40.440 But you want to talk
00:26:41.120 About decline
00:26:41.720 The decline of public spaces
00:26:44.480 And our commons
00:26:45.540 I mean we have to have
00:26:47.120 Clean commons
00:26:47.820 We have to have
00:26:48.240 Clean streets
00:26:48.880 Clean air
00:26:49.460 We have to have
00:26:50.280 Safe places to walk
00:26:51.380 Our cities are in collapse
00:26:53.240 And we can talk
00:26:54.640 About Manhattan
00:26:55.360 Which is positively
00:26:57.000 Post-apocalyptic
00:26:58.000 I showed up
00:26:58.640 On a suit the other day
00:26:59.680 Walking around
00:27:01.200 Moynihan train station
00:27:02.540 People looked at me
00:27:03.320 Like I had dropped
00:27:04.100 From the 1880s
00:27:06.580 Or something like
00:27:07.040 From another planet
00:27:08.680 It was a scary place
00:27:10.400 With fentanyl freaks
00:27:11.860 Walking everywhere
00:27:12.500 I don't even want
00:27:13.240 To describe the smells
00:27:14.640 To you
00:27:14.960 I wish I had an N95
00:27:16.740 I wouldn't wear one
00:27:17.880 In COVID
00:27:18.300 But I wanted to wear one
00:27:19.560 In Manhattan
00:27:20.160 The other day
00:27:20.860 This is so terrible
00:27:22.780 And other cities
00:27:24.220 Of course
00:27:24.600 San Francisco
00:27:25.220 We could talk about
00:27:26.100 Salt Lake
00:27:26.680 It's a major problem
00:27:28.540 We need an emphasis
00:27:30.000 In this country
00:27:30.860 On our commons
00:27:32.060 On our public spaces
00:27:33.400 We can't even put
00:27:34.880 Benches in our
00:27:36.140 Train stations anymore
00:27:37.360 Because there's too many
00:27:38.580 Vagrants that would just
00:27:40.120 Come in and move in there
00:27:41.360 I mean that's
00:27:42.400 This is not a
00:27:43.160 Civilized country
00:27:43.900 We need some
00:27:44.440 Jeffrey hang on
00:27:45.360 Hang for one second
00:27:46.880 I won't hold you
00:27:47.380 To the break
00:27:47.860 Jeffrey Hunter's
00:27:49.080 With us
00:27:49.700 Take a short
00:27:50.460 Commercial break
00:27:51.060 When you're buried
00:27:52.220 In credit card
00:27:53.020 And loan debt
00:27:53.840 It's only human nature
00:27:55.200 To put it off
00:27:55.820 And say hey
00:27:56.480 I'll deal with this later
00:27:57.620 If that's you
00:27:59.380 Here's a hidden fact
00:28:00.580 The debt strategy experts
00:28:02.300 At Done With Debt
00:28:03.340 Shared with me
00:28:04.180 They discovered
00:28:05.420 A little known strategy
00:28:06.700 That works in your favor
00:28:08.080 To dramatically reduce
00:28:09.380 Or even erase
00:28:10.380 Your debt altogether
00:28:11.820 They aggressively engage
00:28:13.540 Everyone you owe money to
00:28:15.200 In September
00:28:15.920 And here's why
00:28:16.620 They know which lenders
00:28:17.780 And credit card companies
00:28:18.840 Are doing year end accounting
00:28:20.220 And need to cut deals
00:28:21.480 They even know
00:28:22.740 Which ones have
00:28:23.460 Year end audits
00:28:24.520 And need to get your debt
00:28:25.640 Off the books
00:28:26.560 Quickly
00:28:27.360 That means you need
00:28:29.160 To get started
00:28:29.680 With Done With Debt
00:28:30.460 Now
00:28:30.900 Done With Debt
00:28:32.260 Accomplishes this
00:28:33.440 Without bankruptcy
00:28:34.380 Or new loans
00:28:35.280 In fact
00:28:35.980 Most clients
00:28:36.760 End up with more money
00:28:37.880 In their pocket
00:28:38.680 The first month
00:28:40.060 Get started now
00:28:41.620 While you still have time
00:28:42.800 Go to
00:28:43.220 DoneWithDebt.com

00:28:51.120 Take advantage of this
00:28:52.660 These people are aggressive
00:28:53.680 They're smart
00:28:54.400 And they're tough
00:28:55.360 You want them
00:28:56.360 On your side
00:28:56.880 DoneWithDebt.com
00:28:58.560 Here's your host
00:29:00.980 Stephen K.
00:29:02.020 Bannon
00:29:02.360 You know
00:29:04.960 Jeffrey
00:29:05.280 For you to say that
00:29:06.400 Is kind of shocking
00:29:07.160 Because the Monaghan
00:29:08.180 Station
00:29:08.780 Where they took over
00:29:09.480 The old post office
00:29:10.300 Was this
00:29:10.760 Multi-billion dollar
00:29:11.960 Redo
00:29:13.080 To get rid of the
00:29:13.880 To get out of
00:29:14.560 Penn Station
00:29:15.160 And you're saying now
00:29:16.240 And you also said
00:29:17.260 Hey we had our gala
00:29:18.080 Out in Salt Lake
00:29:19.260 But Salt Lake
00:29:19.960 He's got certain
00:29:21.240 Third world
00:29:21.980 You know
00:29:23.840 It looks like
00:29:25.340 A third world
00:29:25.840 Country in a lot of it
00:29:26.580 I spent five days
00:29:27.380 Over there
00:29:27.620 Shocked when I saw
00:29:28.500 In Salt Lake City
00:29:29.260 Particularly a number
00:29:30.000 Of LGBTQ flags
00:29:31.780 Versus American flags
00:29:33.060 Your thoughts sir
00:29:34.300 Well I had
00:29:35.960 Scheduled our conference
00:29:36.840 In Salt Lake
00:29:37.420 Because I had memory
00:29:38.120 From ten years ago
00:29:39.000 And the place
00:29:39.440 Has been transformed
00:29:40.300 Between the graffiti
00:29:42.000 And the fentanyl addicts
00:29:44.180 Wandering the streets
00:29:45.520 It's really a different
00:29:47.460 Kind of place
00:29:48.180 It wasn't what I expected
00:29:50.760 And very sad
00:29:52.100 Although
00:29:52.500 This keeps happening
00:29:54.240 Right
00:29:54.540 I mean about
00:29:54.980 A few weeks earlier
00:29:55.920 I was in San Francisco
00:29:56.920 I went there as a child
00:29:58.440 It was a gleaming
00:29:59.520 Perfection of beauty
00:30:01.700 I mean the greatest city
00:30:03.060 A child could ever imagine
00:30:04.880 Everything was
00:30:05.640 Beyond belief
00:30:07.280 Like a dream
00:30:08.120 And now
00:30:09.180 It's just this
00:30:10.160 Post-apocalyptic nightmare
00:30:12.480 With all the predictable smells
00:30:15.340 But nothing compares
00:30:16.880 With
00:30:17.500 With
00:30:17.940 Manhattan
00:30:18.760 Around the four blocks
00:30:20.020 Surrounding the
00:30:20.700 Moynihan train station
00:30:21.940 Where I was saying
00:30:23.460 That I wished
00:30:24.240 I had a mask
00:30:25.160 I never wore a mask
00:30:26.080 During COVID
00:30:26.560 But I wanted one that day
00:30:27.740 Because
00:30:28.180 There are three competing smells
00:30:30.140 In Manhattan today
00:30:31.140 Urine
00:30:32.320 Because you can't have
00:30:33.000 Any public bathrooms
00:30:33.860 Forget that
00:30:35.300 You can barely have
00:30:36.100 Private bathrooms
00:30:36.960 And then weed
00:30:38.880 Of course
00:30:39.640 Which you know
00:30:40.520 The pot shops are everywhere
00:30:41.620 Everybody's addicted
00:30:42.480 And then
00:30:44.420 Then you have
00:30:45.160 The sewage
00:30:46.180 The trash problem
00:30:47.320 Just getting rid of the trash
00:30:48.760 I can't even do that
00:30:49.760 Everything is broken
00:30:51.580 Everything's scary
00:30:52.940 People look like hell
00:30:55.220 I was wearing a suit and tie
00:30:57.400 And I felt like a freak
00:30:58.540 I mean
00:30:58.880 I was worried
00:31:00.340 And you know
00:31:01.380 Here's the thing Steve
00:31:02.400 That bothers me about this
00:31:03.580 I was headed to a private club
00:31:07.220 Okay
00:31:07.780 I walked into the private club
00:31:09.340 Everything's gleaming
00:31:10.540 Perfect flower
00:31:11.580 Fresh flower arrangements
00:31:12.760 Well to do people everywhere
00:31:14.720 They're hiding
00:31:15.420 They're hiding
00:31:16.260 They're hiding
00:31:17.740 From the outside
00:31:19.000 So you go into the private club
00:31:20.580 Everything's glorious
00:31:21.780 Listening to Schubert
00:31:23.020 Looking at fresh music
00:31:24.400 Fresh flowers
00:31:25.260 The big thick steaks
00:31:27.160 Were perfect
00:31:27.760 Okay
00:31:28.160 Is that really
00:31:29.760 How we're gonna live?
00:31:30.580 I don't think
00:31:31.000 A civilized people
00:31:31.860 Can live this way
00:31:32.640 With collapsing commons
00:31:34.580 And so you just
00:31:35.740 Retreat to your private clubs
00:31:37.300 Where the elites hang out
00:31:38.440 And congratulate each other
00:31:40.020 For having escaped
00:31:41.480 The apocalypse outside the door
00:31:43.400 That's not a world
00:31:44.900 In which we live
00:31:45.560 Why we wanna live
00:31:46.500 And Manhattan's a strange place
00:31:49.240 Because you've got
00:31:50.380 This collapsed core
00:31:51.800 That's so horrible
00:31:53.000 So the rich people
00:31:54.700 Can move up to the Upper East Side
00:31:56.100 And Upper West Side
00:31:56.840 And say
00:31:57.600 Oh at least we're away from that
00:31:59.100 It's not gonna be our problem
00:32:00.400 Well I'm telling you
00:32:00.980 It is gonna be your problem
00:32:02.000 It's gonna keep creeping up on you
00:32:03.640 We don't know what's gonna happen
00:32:04.900 In this mayoral race
00:32:06.700 But you know
00:32:07.960 We could find
00:32:09.160 That what you see
00:32:10.520 In the worst parts
00:32:11.220 Are gonna be all the parts
00:32:12.580 Pretty soon
00:32:13.200 I'm just saying
00:32:14.360 We have
00:32:15.380 A common interest
00:32:17.380 In protecting the commons
00:32:19.000 And the health of our society
00:32:20.780 Very much traces
00:32:22.200 To the health of our cities
00:32:23.700 And whether you can
00:32:24.780 Walk down the streets
00:32:25.780 Safely
00:32:27.640 Feel pride
00:32:28.960 In your gardens
00:32:30.340 And
00:32:31.420 And
00:32:31.860 And
00:32:32.360 And the cleanliness
00:32:33.300 Of your streets
00:32:34.120 This is a very important part
00:32:37.520 Of what it means
00:32:38.240 To be a healthy society
00:32:39.440 And
00:32:40.340 I feel as if
00:32:41.600 Something that's happened
00:32:42.720 And I'm not sure
00:32:43.800 When it happened
00:32:44.640 Seems like it's happened
00:32:45.720 Over the last
00:32:46.340 Five years or so
00:32:47.960 That
00:32:48.700 That we as a country
00:32:49.800 Have just decided
00:32:50.500 To forget it
00:32:51.160 We don't care
00:32:51.940 As long as we can hide out
00:32:53.220 With our
00:32:54.140 Our private
00:32:54.800 Club membership cards
00:32:56.340 And get away from the rabble
00:32:57.900 Then
00:32:58.620 Then that's
00:32:59.580 That's gonna be fine
00:33:00.340 Who cares
00:33:00.880 Who cares what happens
00:33:01.820 To the rest of the country
00:33:03.620 I think this is a really
00:33:04.940 Bad idea
00:33:06.340 You
00:33:06.700 You have to be torn
00:33:08.400 Because
00:33:08.900 You kind of came to
00:33:10.500 National prominence
00:33:11.600 Brownstone and yourself
00:33:12.800 I remember we would have you on
00:33:14.040 At the beginning of the pandemic
00:33:15.600 You were one of the first
00:33:16.460 Voices that came in
00:33:17.460 Particularly calling out
00:33:18.500 A guy that was known as
00:33:20.420 Governor Cuomo
00:33:21.220 At the time
00:33:21.880 Tamar
00:33:22.320 Your real choice is between
00:33:23.800 Because Sliwa's so far out of it
00:33:25.700 Is really between Cuomo
00:33:27.200 And a
00:33:28.340 Marxist
00:33:29.260 Jihadist
00:33:30.200 What will happen
00:33:31.720 In New York City
00:33:32.680 The greatest city in the world
00:33:34.440 Won the results of that
00:33:36.080 A guy who
00:33:37.060 Who mangled New York City
00:33:38.580 During the COVID experiment
00:33:39.900 And a
00:33:40.900 And your choice
00:33:41.940 Is for a
00:33:42.740 A Marxist
00:33:44.240 Jihadist
00:33:44.700 That the New York Times
00:33:45.520 Yesterday
00:33:45.920 Or on the site
00:33:46.980 He's got the
00:33:47.620 He did a march
00:33:49.060 At dawn
00:33:49.460 From Brooklyn
00:33:50.080 And they're just
00:33:51.320 Praising him
00:33:51.880 It's like
00:33:52.340 Mao Zedong
00:33:53.280 In the beginning
00:33:53.780 Of the long march
00:33:54.600 Sir
00:33:55.040 Yeah
00:33:55.480 If that's the hope
00:33:56.680 For the Democrats
00:33:57.300 I don't know
00:33:58.220 If there's any future
00:33:59.120 To this party
00:33:59.780 Whatsoever
00:34:00.340 I don't understand
00:34:03.240 How it is
00:34:03.820 That Cuomo
00:34:04.440 Emerged at the top
00:34:05.700 Of the pack
00:34:06.100 I don't follow
00:34:06.620 New York politics
00:34:07.680 Too closely
00:34:08.280 But that man
00:34:08.920 Has been thoroughly
00:34:09.760 Discredited
00:34:10.680 Ever since
00:34:11.620 COVID
00:34:12.340 And how
00:34:13.560 What a
00:34:14.420 Painful decision
00:34:16.000 For people to make
00:34:16.920 A good friend of mine
00:34:18.520 Tweeted out
00:34:20.080 That Cuomo
00:34:21.120 Killed my dad
00:34:21.900 And I'm going to be
00:34:22.480 Forced to vote for him anyway
00:34:23.580 Because I don't want this
00:34:24.860 Jihadist
00:34:26.060 Marxist
00:34:26.620 Communist
00:34:27.120 Running the city
00:34:28.620 This is not
00:34:29.940 This is not
00:34:30.840 The democracy
00:34:31.700 That our founders
00:34:32.800 Imagined
00:34:34.000 We would have
00:34:35.040 The idea was
00:34:36.420 That we're supposed
00:34:37.100 To have high quality
00:34:37.960 People
00:34:38.420 They would come
00:34:39.280 To represent
00:34:39.800 Our interests
00:34:40.580 In the halls
00:34:41.200 Of government
00:34:41.760 But this is
00:34:43.380 This is a
00:34:44.400 A grim choice
00:34:45.560 I'm very worried
00:34:46.680 About the future
00:34:47.260 Of New York
00:34:47.860 George Will's out there
00:34:49.320 Saying
00:34:49.640 Oh it's fine
00:34:50.460 We need a
00:34:52.100 Test
00:34:52.480 And
00:34:53.060 And
00:34:53.720 And disaster
00:34:54.660 Economics
00:34:55.380 Every
00:34:55.740 Every 20 years
00:34:56.720 Or so
00:34:57.060 Just to be reminded
00:34:57.980 So I don't
00:34:59.840 Really agree
00:35:00.580 With that
00:35:01.020 Point of view
00:35:01.620 I don't think
00:35:02.820 That that's the way
00:35:04.140 A free
00:35:05.200 And dignified
00:35:06.000 People
00:35:06.440 Should think
00:35:07.420 I'm not willing
00:35:08.860 To put up with that
00:35:09.760 I think we need
00:35:10.480 To fight
00:35:10.920 We need to fight
00:35:12.120 For our common
00:35:12.820 Spaces
00:35:13.340 Fight for our cities
00:35:14.340 And
00:35:15.400 And all of our cities
00:35:16.960 Whether it's
00:35:17.840 Portland
00:35:18.300 Or
00:35:18.920 San Francisco
00:35:20.400 Or Salt Lake
00:35:21.140 Or Manhattan
00:35:21.740 Or Chicago
00:35:23.100 We can't just let them
00:35:24.400 Fall apart
00:35:25.540 No but
00:35:25.960 The wealthy
00:35:27.460 Will either
00:35:27.880 Depart to Miami
00:35:28.820 Or they'll live
00:35:29.520 In their stockades
00:35:30.660 You know
00:35:31.400 They used to call
00:35:31.900 The Upper East Side
00:35:32.700 The perfumed stockade
00:35:34.140 Right
00:35:34.800 That's what they will do
00:35:35.700 While the rest of the city
00:35:36.740 And the working class
00:35:37.520 In the city
00:35:37.980 Get destroyed
00:35:39.140 By either of these guys
00:35:40.240 But particularly
00:35:40.760 Mondami
00:35:41.320 Is very dangerous
00:35:43.080 Brownstone
00:35:44.280 You've made this
00:35:45.120 Now a major institution
00:35:46.700 On the right
00:35:47.560 How do people get there
00:35:48.640 And how they follow
00:35:49.280 Your Twitter
00:35:50.480 Feed sir
00:35:51.840 Is worth the price
00:35:53.040 Of admission
00:35:53.500 So where do folks go
00:35:55.060 Thank you
00:35:55.760 Yeah
00:35:56.320 Jeffrey A. Tucker
00:35:58.440 On X
00:36:00.220 I'm always posting
00:36:01.120 And then
00:36:01.740 Brownstone.org
00:36:02.920 I also write
00:36:03.700 Every day
00:36:04.160 For Epoch Times
00:36:05.260 As you know
00:36:06.000 But brownstone.org
00:36:07.860 Is my
00:36:08.440 Is my true love
00:36:09.480 It's been identified
00:36:10.540 By our friends
00:36:12.160 In the mainstream
00:36:12.720 Presses
00:36:13.460 As the great
00:36:14.780 Conspiracy
00:36:15.540 The most
00:36:16.020 The most powerful
00:36:16.880 And influential
00:36:17.580 Washington
00:36:18.220 And institution
00:36:19.620 In Washington
00:36:20.220 I would
00:36:20.600 You know
00:36:21.280 I'd like to
00:36:21.700 I'd like to
00:36:22.220 Think so
00:36:22.580 I'm always
00:36:23.700 On the phone
00:36:24.180 With reporters
00:36:24.720 Trying to convince
00:36:25.380 No I'm just
00:36:25.920 A mild-mannered
00:36:26.740 Guy who writes
00:36:27.680 Right stuff
00:36:28.540 You know
00:36:28.880 No
00:36:29.460 At Epoch Times
00:36:31.980 Alone
00:36:32.300 You're a bomb thrower
00:36:33.100 That's the best
00:36:33.760 That's the best
00:36:34.460 Newspaper in the country
00:36:35.420 It's called
00:36:35.780 The best broadsheet
00:36:36.580 It's just the best
00:36:37.140 Newspaper now
00:36:37.900 Sir thank you so much
00:36:39.700 Brother Tucker
00:36:40.920 I see
00:36:41.360 I'll look forward
00:36:41.980 To seeing you next week
00:36:42.800 Okay
00:36:43.280 Bye bye
00:36:43.860 Thank you sir
00:36:44.520 We got so much
00:36:46.200 Going on
00:36:46.700 Tomorrow night
00:36:47.580 Studio 6B
00:36:49.700 Is going to
00:36:50.940 Take the coverage
00:36:51.760 I think it's 7 o'clock
00:36:53.320 They're going to
00:36:54.140 Go to 9
00:36:54.800 They're going to
00:36:55.320 Have a live audience
00:36:56.080 Up in New York
00:36:56.820 We're going to
00:36:57.780 Pick it up
00:36:58.260 At 9
00:36:58.920 And all your
00:36:59.420 Favorite RAV folks
00:37:00.680 Will be here
00:37:01.700 Throughout the country
00:37:02.500 We're covering everything
00:37:03.400 Because we know
00:37:04.520 You're interested in everything
00:37:05.420 And this is the
00:37:06.080 Tee up
00:37:06.440 To 2019
00:37:07.620 So make sure
00:37:09.280 You're around tomorrow
00:37:10.200 It's going to be
00:37:10.840 You're going to
00:37:11.160 Have a great time
00:37:11.880 If you liked our
00:37:12.800 Specials in the past
00:37:13.660 Or our legendary
00:37:15.080 Election night coverage
00:37:17.440 Be prepared for this
00:37:18.620 And we've got
00:37:19.080 We've got people
00:37:19.700 Deployed everywhere
00:37:20.640 So it's going to
00:37:21.240 Be just fantastic
00:37:22.020 We're also going to
00:37:22.460 Bring in a bunch
00:37:22.960 Of other analysts
00:37:24.580 And observers
00:37:25.140 So it'll be
00:37:25.600 Wall to wall
00:37:26.180 As we cover
00:37:26.860 Everything from
00:37:27.560 Manhattan
00:37:28.660 And New York City
00:37:29.760 And the St. Virens
00:37:31.060 To Jersey
00:37:31.680 So the tri-state area
00:37:32.860 Is going to get
00:37:33.280 A real workout tomorrow
00:37:34.520 Of course
00:37:35.440 My beloved
00:37:36.140 Commonwealth of Virginia
00:37:37.280 Out to California
00:37:39.000 Politico has a piece up
00:37:42.780 I put it up on
00:37:43.600 I think I just put it
00:37:44.620 On Getter
00:37:45.080 If Elizabeth can check
00:37:46.540 I think I put it
00:37:47.040 A little while ago
00:37:47.640 About Newsom
00:37:49.260 I think they call it
00:37:50.320 His apex moment
00:37:51.400 You've got to
00:37:52.600 Hand it to him
00:37:53.120 If he pulls it off
00:37:53.800 Tomorrow
00:37:54.100 He timed this
00:37:54.880 Perfectly
00:37:55.480 And he jumped
00:37:56.020 Into the fight
00:37:56.700 Which a lot of
00:37:57.300 Them haven't
00:37:57.920 So we'll be
00:37:59.240 Covering that
00:37:59.720 Wall to wall
00:38:00.200 Also down in
00:38:01.380 Texas
00:38:01.660 Pennsylvania
00:38:02.240 All throughout
00:38:02.740 The country
00:38:03.240 Birchgold.com
00:38:06.060 We've taught you
00:38:07.540 I think over the
00:38:08.020 Last couple years
00:38:08.680 What a hedge is
00:38:10.160 And how gold
00:38:11.620 Physical gold
00:38:12.380 Particularly has
00:38:12.920 Been a hedge
00:38:13.500 For 5,000 years
00:38:15.140 Of mankind's history
00:38:16.020 Has particularly
00:38:16.620 Become a hedge
00:38:17.360 I think since
00:38:19.040 Fiat currency
00:38:20.160 Here in the
00:38:20.640 Good old
00:38:20.980 United States
00:38:21.740 Of America
00:38:22.240 And now more
00:38:23.320 Than ever
00:38:23.720 You need to
00:38:24.880 Think it through
00:38:25.620 Yourself
00:38:26.400 We're not here
00:38:26.880 To sell you
00:38:27.440 A fish
00:38:27.860 We're here
00:38:29.000 To teach you
00:38:29.760 How to fish
