Bannon's War Room - Episode 4956： DC Terror Attack On National Guard

00:00:00.000 and do a reset. I want to play, I want to replay that entire presser because I think it was only

00:00:04.760 a couple of minutes, but I think it's got some details in there. So as soon as you guys are

00:00:08.660 ready to play it, we'll do it. I also have to say, Jack, I've got a particular problem with

00:00:15.360 the thing about all the agencies working together. As I've said many times, we understand they all

00:00:20.680 work together. We assume you're all together, but I think we just got to get down to the basics.

00:00:25.100 And if we can just put up that photo of the alleged shooter, the one that got wounded

00:00:34.280 and they put in the thing, I think that was the alleged shooter, right? I think we put

00:00:41.520 that up. And I'd like to play just what Cash and Mayor Bowser and the assistant head of

00:00:46.860 what DC Metro has to say, because I'm not saying there's conflicting information, but even that,

00:00:52.780 it wasn't, it wasn't tight. It wasn't as tight as you have to have. Let's, we don't have

00:00:57.860 it. Okay. Jack. Oh, okay. Oh yeah. We're going to reset Jack. We got a reboot here. What we

00:01:05.000 know from this presser is that they called it a targeted shooting. What happened earlier

00:01:11.000 this afternoon, I think around 2 15 or so at the Farragut near the Farragut, the Metro

00:01:18.020 station, someone came around the, a shooter came around the corner and opened up on National

00:01:25.160 Guard elements that were in, that were there. They were supposedly had weapons. They were

00:01:30.480 shot. At first it was reported by the governor of West Virginia that they had, they had died.

00:01:36.220 Uh, what we do know is that other national from the pressers that other National Guard

00:01:40.960 individuals got onto the shooter and, uh, and let him have it. I think there's New York

00:01:46.120 posters reporting, uh, five rounds. Um, the, uh, he was hit by five rounds or took five rounds.

00:01:53.040 The, um, the ABC news and CBS, excuse me, CBS news is reporting that there is a, uh, there was

00:02:01.140 up to 10 to 15 shots coming from the gunman. And they said it was looked like an ambush situation.

00:02:06.760 So I don't know if they're, they've got more information than we just heard right there of

00:02:10.820 the targeted, uh, of the targeted information. Do we have this ready to play? I'll tell you what,

00:02:15.640 we're rebooting Jack Posobiec right now. You're in the five o'clock hour of the war room.

00:02:20.380 We obviously had a very different show ready for you on the eve of Thanksgiving, but this is a,

00:02:26.560 uh, actually an emergency in the, uh, in the nation's Capitol, very near the white house.

00:02:31.180 Let's go ahead. We're going to take it from the top. Let's go ahead and play the, uh, and replay

00:02:35.060 the presser. My name is Cash Patel, FBI director. We're here to brief you on the tragic events

00:02:41.320 that happened today at approximately two 15 local time in Washington, DC, where two of our brave

00:02:47.880 members of the national guard and department of war were brazenly attacked in a horrendous act of

00:02:52.560 violence. They were shot. They're in critical condition. As you can see behind me, we have

00:02:58.180 assembled the full force of both the federal and state and local law enforcement agencies

00:03:02.480 to bring bear all of our resources to make sure we find the perpetrators responsible for this

00:03:07.640 heinous act and make no mistake, they will be brought to justice. Since this is an assault on

00:03:12.440 a federal law enforcement officer, this will be treated at the federal level as an assault on a

00:03:17.420 federal law enforcement officer. The FBI will lead out on that mission with our

00:03:21.900 interagency partners to include the Department of Homeland Security, Secret Service, ATF, DEA.

00:03:27.360 And we're thankful for the mayor's assistance in this matter. The Metropolitan Police Department

00:03:31.980 and their skills in investigating homicides and gun shootings in this city is exceptional.

00:03:37.780 We will work together collaboratively because this is a matter of national security,

00:03:42.060 because it's a matter of pride. President Trump has been informed. We've been in contact with the

00:03:47.100 White House. We will bear we will shortchange the American public with no resources to make sure we

00:03:52.780 find and safeguard our nation's capital right here in Washington, D.C. and bring anyone responsible

00:03:58.260 for this heinous act of violence to justice. I would lastly like to add to the American public in the

00:04:05.440 world. Please send your prayers to those brave warriors who are in critical condition and their

00:04:10.820 families. They are here serving our country. They are here protecting everyday Americans and citizens

00:04:16.280 around the world in our nation's capital. They are the heroes of this day, and we must remember them

00:04:21.140 on this day and every day and their families and the sacrifice they have made. I will now turn it

00:04:25.620 over to Chief Carroll, the Metropolitan Police Department. Thank you.

00:04:31.660 Good afternoon, everyone. My name is Jeff Carroll. I'm the Executive Assistant Chief here at the

00:04:35.300 Metropolitan Police Department. At approximately 2.15 this afternoon, members of the D.C. National Guard

00:04:41.400 were on high visibility patrols in the area of 17th and I Street Northwest. When a suspect came around the

00:04:48.100 corner, raised his arm with a firearm and discharged at the National Guard members. The National Guard

00:04:54.400 members, there were other members that were in the area. They were able to, after some back and

00:04:59.220 forth, able to subdue the individual and bring them into custody. Within moments, members of law

00:05:04.580 enforcement in the area were also able to assist and bring that individual into the custody. At this time,

00:05:09.520 as the director mentioned, the National Guard members are being treated at a local hospital.

00:05:14.120 D.C. Fire and E.M.S. responded to the scene to provide first aid for those individuals and

00:05:18.520 transport them to a local hospital. The suspect in this case was also transported for treatment at a local

00:05:23.500 hospital. Madam Mayor. I'm Muriel Bowser. I'm the mayor of Washington, D.C., and I too want to send my

00:05:33.780 thoughts and prayers to my thoughts and prayers to the families of the guardsmen and to the guardsmen who are in

00:05:41.020 critical condition in a local hospital. I am joined by members and leadership from the D.C. National Guard,

00:05:49.780 from the West Virginia National Guard, United States Secret Service, Deputy Mayor Pia, Fire Chief Donnelly,

00:05:56.780 and Metro's General Manager, Randy Clark. And we join with the FBI Director in ensuring that MPD

00:06:08.020 investigates, the U.S. Attorney prosecutes this case to the fullest extent of the law. I've had the

00:06:15.020 opportunity to brief U.S. Attorney General Pam Bondi, who was speaking to the President when I called,

00:06:23.960 as well as the United States Attorney Pirro, who assured me that this case will have her offices

00:06:31.500 complete attention. Mayor, was there any other suspect? Chief? Sure. So, no, at this time, there's

00:06:39.240 no indication that there was any other suspect. The one suspect that was involved in this incident,

00:06:43.080 they were shot during the interaction and they were transported to the hospital for treatment. Mayor,

00:06:47.620 does this validate the need for the National Guard here in D.C.? What we know, Andrea, is that this

00:06:53.660 is a targeted shooting, one individual who appeared to target these Guardsmen, that individual has been

00:07:00.960 taken into custody. You can tell us about a moment. And more details on the condition of the two

00:07:05.880 National Guardsmen and whether or not anyone else was injured. And a quick question, follow-up

00:07:11.480 for the FBI Director. You said that we'll make sure we find the perpetrators for this act. So,

00:07:16.920 just to clarify, the person believed to be responsible is in custody and there are no other

00:07:21.980 suspects. Sure. So, I can start out. Again, Chief Carol from MPD. So, both the individuals,

00:07:27.720 the Guard members, they are in critical condition at a local hospital at this time being treated.

00:07:31.800 At this point, we have no other suspects. We have reviewed video from the area. It appears,

00:07:36.100 like I said, to be a lone gunman that raised a firearm and ambushed these members of the National

00:07:39.840 Guard. And he was quickly taken into custody by other National Guard members and law enforcement

00:07:43.820 agencies. We have the full power of the FBI and our federal partners here in the task force. So,

00:07:58.160 we're looking at all those different aspects, but we don't have any motive.

00:08:02.600 The National Guard that were shot, I'm told they were armed.

00:08:05.680 Do they get off jobs? At this time, that's part of the preliminary investigation.

00:08:08.940 Can we explain how the suspect was unremembered?

00:08:13.160 Sure. So, how the suspect was apprehended, as I said, the individual, the suspect came around the

00:08:17.440 corner. He immediately started firing a firearm at the two National Guard members. So, at that time,

00:08:22.600 there were other National Guard members that were in the area. They heard the gunfire. They actually

00:08:27.280 were able to intervene and to kind of hold down the suspect after he had been shot on the ground until

00:08:32.700 law enforcement got there within moments. And he was shot by a National Guard member?

00:08:36.280 At this point, we're still investigating exactly who shot that individual. It's not clear at this

00:08:39.800 time. Were there D.C. police in the area? We don't know what kind of weapon. There was D.C.

00:08:44.920 police. It happened right in front of the Metro, although there is no indication that the

00:08:48.120 perpetrator was on the Metro. So, there's Metro Transit Police in the area. And obviously,

00:08:51.840 being on 17th Street by the White House, Uniform Division Secret Service were in the immediate

00:08:55.760 area as well. What kind of weapon the alleged perpetrator used? We do not know at this time.

00:08:59.740 So, as I said, we're very preliminary in the investigation. So, we're looking to all aspects

00:09:12.380 of who the individual is, his connections. At this time, he's still in the hospital receiving

00:09:16.440 treatment. And I would just like to hang on. I would just like to add the reason that this

00:09:20.760 suspect is in custody is because of the bravery of the men and women of the National Guard

00:09:26.420 who responded due to their extensive training to secure American lives today, there was not

00:09:32.320 any further injury and any further shootings. We should highlight the fact that the men and

00:09:36.700 women of law enforcement, the interagency, the Department of War, and the National Guard 0.94

00:09:41.160 executed their training with great precision today and prevented an even greater tragedy from

00:09:46.740 befalling us. These National Guardsmen are heroes, and we must pray for their safety and

00:09:51.520 their speedy recovery. And as the Chief said, we are in the preliminary stages of this investigation.

00:09:56.000 We will run down every single lead, every piece of evidence. This is the power of the

00:10:01.520 U.S. government at its best at the state, local, and federal level. That is why this interagency

00:10:06.220 group is standing behind us to assure America and the world that we will continue to keep

00:10:10.800 D.C. safe. And thankfully, we have Metropolitan Police Department, the National Guardsmen, and

00:10:15.820 federal agents, and the Department of Justice and Attorney General willing to prosecute the

00:10:20.360 mission to keep Americans safe. And President Trump has rightly stated that this heinous act

00:10:25.780 will be investigated. And he has thanked the National Guardsmen and women and the men

00:10:30.380 and women of law enforcement.

00:10:31.300 Did the suspects say anything? Did the suspects say anything at the time of the shooting?

00:10:35.820 Why did the West Virginia governor say that they had been killed?

00:10:38.220 Was anyone else shot?

00:10:39.760 Had the families been notified?

00:10:40.940 So, Jack Posobiec joins me. Jack, you had it right there. Of course, they're in the moment

00:10:47.120 also. They've only had a few minutes to prepare for this. So, you're going to have a little

00:10:49.880 information maybe not on top of everything. But I do think they can give us more information

00:10:56.220 about the shooter, right? I understand he's not cooperating. But you could have said he was

00:11:01.060 a male. He didn't have to give us the pronouns. I mean, it's just not acceptable. You can give

00:11:05.760 us more basic information about what's going on. Jack Posobiec, your thoughts?

00:11:10.460 Well, Steve, are you familiar with the tenets of Coulter's Law and Coulter's Law?

00:11:17.680 Oh, the longer it goes, the more you know it's part of the Muslim Brotherhood? Is that Coulter's Law? 0.92

00:11:25.800 She said, I believe, and I'm paraphrasing of course.

00:11:28.360 She's a little more blunt than that.

00:11:31.100 Well, the longer, right, right. The longer, of course, she is. The longer that it takes 0.99

00:11:35.260 for them to release a description, the less chance that it was a white male.

00:11:40.460 Yeah. You're saying if this guy had a MAGA ball cap on, we would have known his name.

00:11:45.060 First off, they would already be scrubbing his social media. You would hear every time he

00:11:50.600 supported a, was that a Trump rally?

00:11:52.820 Yeah, exactly. You'd have all that. You'd have pictures of him with like, you know,

00:11:58.160 me and you or something like that. You'd have everything. So again, you know, it remains

00:12:02.920 to be seen. But once again, the tenets of Coulter's Law seem to be holding true. And so in this

00:12:08.740 situation, you know, there really does need to be an understanding of what's going on. And I think

00:12:14.260 that you look at the way that the right responded to the murder of Charlie Kirk. You've seen

00:12:19.400 recriminations. You've seen a lot of backstabbing, a lot of ankle biting, a lot of people pointing

00:12:25.660 fingers, a lot of bickering and infighting, rather than actually doing something about the people who

00:12:31.840 are shooting and killing patriots, National Guardsmen, schoolchildren in our country. We need 0.98

00:12:38.240 to do something about that. We don't have time for the bickering and the infighting and then,

00:12:42.920 oh, you can't have this person on your podcast. And we've got to tone police. We've got to be really

00:12:46.800 careful. No, those are not the people that are it's not podcasters that are stacking bodies in

00:12:52.260 the United States of America right now. And I'm sick to death of so many conservatives thinking

00:12:57.120 that that's the most important thing in the world. Charlie Kirk's family will have an empty seat at

00:13:03.200 their table tomorrow because of a violent leftist. And until we as a country and as a movement actually

00:13:10.140 start to get really serious about this, he is not going to be the last one.

00:13:14.160 It's the head of the table. And Charlie's not going to be with his family and not going to be

00:13:20.420 with the country. I couldn't agree with you more. This is what I'm saying. I think this, hopefully,

00:13:25.260 this tragedy will reinforce to the president and his team that America has his back. America wants

00:13:35.980 the situation, the situation dealt with. America does not want this thing to devolve in more and more

00:13:41.720 violence. And these people are all of our type. They're all outcast. They're not in the normal 0.80

00:13:48.200 flow of making America great again. We have to be blunt about this. Look at the angry. Charlie

00:13:55.060 called them the lost boys of the West. When he spoke about that, he, these are the disaffected,

00:14:01.100 disassociated young men. And we also see a lot of the time migrant violence as well. Same, same idea.

00:14:08.580 They're disassociated. They're outcast from society. They never really quite fit into society. And then

00:14:13.560 they turn on TV and they get told it's Donald Trump. It's MAGA Republicans. It's Charlie Kirk is the

00:14:18.760 United States National Guard that is putting you at risk. So you've got to get up and do something

00:14:23.620 about it. I tell you what, we're going to take a short commercial break here. Jack, you're going to

00:14:29.040 stick around. You're kind of my wingman. We're pulling together some, we're pulling together some

00:14:33.460 clips from other channels and also getting more information as we go. I want to thank everybody for

00:14:39.840 sticking around. Not the five o'clock show that we had in mind, but we're going to, we're going to

00:14:44.400 stick it through and give you all the updated information. A targeted shooting of National Guard

00:14:51.520 troops in Washington, D.C. near the White House. Short commercial break. Back in the warm in just a

00:14:56.800 moment. Let me be blunt. Gold is up around 40 percent this year. That's not speculation. That's reality.

00:15:05.900 And if a portion of your savings isn't diversified in the gold, you're missing the boat. Here's the

00:15:11.180 facts. Inflation is still too high. The U.S. dollar is still too weak. And the government debt is

00:15:16.280 insurmountable. This is why central banks throughout the world are flocking to gold at record rates.

00:15:23.520 They're the ones driving prices up to new record highs. But it's not too late to buy gold from Birch

00:15:29.280 Gold Group and get in the door now. Birch Gold will help you convert an existing IRA or 401k

00:15:35.880 into a tax-sheltered IRA in gold. You don't pay a dime out of pocket. Just text Bannon, B-A-N-N-O-N,

00:15:44.140 to 989898 and claim your free information kit. There's no obligation. It's just useful information.

00:15:52.060 The best indicator of the future is the past. And gold has historically been a safe haven for a

00:15:58.180 millennia. What else can I say? What else does Birch Gold need to say? The hedge against times of

00:16:05.860 financial turbulence has always been gold. So text Bannon, B-A-N-N-O-N, to 989898 right now

00:16:12.520 to claim your free information kit on gold. That's Bannon to 989898. And protect your future today

00:16:19.200 with Birch Gold.

00:16:21.820 Coming out of places like Chicago, it makes me incredibly nervous that we're about to see

00:16:27.820 people in law enforcement, people in uniformed military get nervous, get stressed, shoot at

00:16:33.460 American civilians. It is a very, very stressful situation for these law enforcement and for the

00:16:40.160 communities on the ground. So it was basically a warning to say, like, if you're asked to do

00:16:45.420 something particularly against American citizens, Ken, what exactly do we know?

00:16:50.520 Basically just what you said, Katie. This shooting, I'm told, occurred near the White House in a place

00:16:56.140 called Farragut Square in downtown D.C. We're seeing video on social media of police rushing to the scene.

00:17:02.340 I checked in with the Secret Service because they protect the White House and was told that

00:17:06.480 two uniformed National Guard members were involved in a shooting. At least one of them was struck.

00:17:12.000 Their condition is not known. The nature of the incident was not known by this person. It's being

00:17:18.260 handled by the D.C. police, not the Secret Service, because they've decided there's no nexus to the

00:17:22.960 White House, no threat to the White House. So the circumstances of this incident are unclear.

00:17:28.160 Remember, of course, that uniformed National Guard are regularly patrolling the streets of

00:17:32.540 Washington, having been deployed there by President Trump. That's subject to a legal fight.

00:17:36.420 Actually, five days ago, a judge ordered the Trump administration to halt that deployment.

00:17:41.140 That's still being litigated. But again, so all we know is that two uniformed National Guard members

00:17:46.900 involved in a shooting. One was struck. The condition of that person is unknown at this time.

00:17:52.040 Their presence is also under question whether it's legal. Last week, a federal judge ruled the

00:17:57.680 Trump administration's deployment of the National Guard in D.C. was unlawful,

00:18:02.180 arguing it lacks authority and is violating the District of Columbia's sovereign powers under the

00:18:07.240 Home Rule Act. The Trump administration is appealing that order. They filed their appeal,

00:18:12.980 Ken, last night.

00:18:13.680 Yeah, that's right. And and that will be ongoing. You know, that's part of the litigation that's

00:18:20.000 been happening around the country or various challenges have been made. But the Trump

00:18:26.140 administration is standing by this policy of deploying National Guard troops to cities,

00:18:31.760 saying that it's necessary to combat crime, as Tom just articulated. There's a lot of dispute about

00:18:37.240 that even among the National Guard members themselves. But but in D.C., it's been less

00:18:43.380 controversial than in other places. Again, the mayor sort of made a strategic decision to go along

00:18:49.120 with it, essentially, initially, although the attorney general is is challenging that deployment in

00:18:55.840 court. But again, it hasn't been really much of a subject of contention on the streets because

00:19:03.340 oftentimes you'll see them essentially National Guard, Uniform National Guard members gathered in

00:19:08.820 groups, scrolling on their phones, chatting. They're not really involved in very much that's

00:19:14.540 controversial here in D.C., Katie. The president says and we didn't know much about that third

00:19:20.640 person. Now, apparently we do. He says that the shooter was also very severely wounded.

00:19:28.340 But regardless, the president says we'll pay a very steep price. J.D. Vance is in Kentucky. He's

00:19:36.760 going to be speaking soon. We're going to wait to see if he does address the the shooting and what

00:19:41.940 happened in Washington, D.C. today. Again, the president is not in town. He is in Florida.

00:19:47.820 J.D. Vance in Kentucky. That being said, it's Washington, D.C., a lot of high value targets.

00:19:54.340 It involves two National Guard members. And so much much has been locked down, including the White 0.94

00:20:00.960 House. And there is a ground stop at Reagan National Airport, which is which is just on the

00:20:06.260 outside of the city until four o'clock. Again, this is the busiest travel day of the year.

00:20:11.620 So a ground stop at this moment is significant. It's meaningful. We've seen multiple different law

00:20:17.420 enforcement agencies on the scene, including D.C. police, Metropolitan Police, including the ATF,

00:20:23.020 the U.S. Marshals, the FBI, the Secret Service. The big question we have right now, and Ken Delaney

00:20:30.220 pointed this out a moment ago, is was this a targeted attack? Did the person who shot these

00:20:37.440 two guardsmen do it intentionally? Was it an ambush or was it something else? Was it caught in

00:20:44.100 crossfire, street crime? It is unclear at the moment. Regi, what the governor of West Virginia

00:20:50.420 has put out there on social media? This is Governor Patrick Morrissey. He says it's with great sorrow

00:20:56.520 that we can confirm both members of the West Virginia National Guard who were shot earlier

00:21:00.720 today in Washington, D.C. have passed away from their injuries. These brave West Virginians lost

00:21:06.780 their lives in the service of their country. We are in ongoing contact with federal officials as the

00:21:11.760 investigation continues. Our entire state grieves with their families, their loved ones, and the

00:21:17.480 Guard community. West Virginia will never forget their service or their sacrifice, and we will demand

00:21:22.640 full accountability for this horrific act. I'm a bit speechless because it is just so awful,

00:21:31.540 and the timing is making it even worse.

00:21:34.800 Okay, Denver, you got to get quicker on that. Katie Turner was just reporting what the governor 0.94

00:21:40.920 of West Virginia said. He put out a tweet. He reversed it. He reversed it shortly thereafter

00:21:45.300 and said they really didn't know the status. I think now we know from the press conference

00:21:48.680 it is they're in critical condition. We have, is it Chris Peyote from a former assistant director

00:21:58.040 of the FBI, is with us. Sir, thank you for joining us. What would, what would law enforcement be,

00:22:04.280 what would law enforcement be doing right now and going through, and going through their, their evolutions

00:22:09.640 to get to the bottom of this?

00:22:12.620 Right, what you have is a very large law enforcement presence. So they're figuring out who's going to be

00:22:17.160 the lead, who's moving into support functions, who's going to be gathering what information running

00:22:22.060 down immediate investigative leads. They're also going to be looking to collect incidental surveillance

00:22:27.800 footage, any kind of information that would give them more context and characterization of the

00:22:34.720 situation. And as far as, you know, what the circumstances were at the time, they're also

00:22:40.300 probably looking right now to make sure they can determine whether this was an isolated incident,

00:22:45.500 loan offender, or is this something part of a more widespread attack posture across the nation?

00:22:53.420 Yeah, Chris, um, cash said, Hey, we're gonna get the perpetrators. And of course, it just happened

00:23:00.840 a few minutes ago. They did say it was a targeted shooting, but the DC Metro, I think assistant

00:23:06.280 director really said that this looked like a lone gunman. Is it too, too soon to jump to that

00:23:12.020 conclusion? Or it doesn't look like it was a set, you know, ambush from a roof. Uh, but, uh, cash did

00:23:19.560 say we're going to get the perpetrators. What would that lead you to believe? Well, right now it's too

00:23:24.520 early to put a lot of context around it. It just could have been a random shooting by someone who

00:23:29.480 was a disaffected person, saw two uniformed, uh, national guardsmen and, and, and fired upon them.

00:23:36.240 I also have seen instances of rhetoric on social media by certain politicians indicating that they

00:23:43.100 were saying that national guard members could be firing upon American citizens. It could have caused

00:23:48.640 somebody to move from an ideological position to an actual kinetic, kinetic action. So they're

00:23:55.880 looking at all of these things right now. I would have to take a broader view of it and say, we want

00:24:01.620 to make sure that it's an isolated incident before we call it one. We want to make sure that we have

00:24:05.620 all the suspects in custody before we say we do and make sure that we're not overselling our position

00:24:11.340 on the front end. Did you say, uh, Chris, did you say you actually thought you saw, uh, politicians

00:24:17.060 a day say about this incident that it might've been caused by somebody shooting the crowd? Or is

00:24:21.580 that just some general, that's some general. Yeah. Is that something that generally you've seen in the

00:24:26.500 past? I just saw it earlier today where there was, uh, one of the, I guess the, uh, what are they

00:24:32.240 calling them? The, the six, the people who put out that message saying this in the past few days

00:24:38.400 about the possibility of national guard members taking such action against the American people.

00:24:44.060 I'm not saying it was related to today, but what I'm saying is in my previous life,

00:24:48.960 if you have people that are on that edge of ideological views and action, a statement like

00:24:56.840 that could take someone who is mentally unbalanced and move them to action versus just staying in the

00:25:02.280 ideological position. But by the way, this is the seditious six that Chris is talking about. And

00:25:07.700 there's been a lot of activity about that. In fact, uh, captain Mark Kelly has already come out and

00:25:12.520 said how horrific this is. Uh, Jack, uh, we have Chris, is it pronounced Pai Hota? How do you

00:25:18.160 pronounce your last name? Yes. That's great. Pai Hota? Not close enough. Jack Pasovic, I know

00:25:24.400 you're trying to line up some other guests for us. Do you have any questions for Chris?

00:25:29.900 Well, Chris, I suppose the one thing that we're going to have to start looking at really more now

00:25:35.000 is these, and I spoke about this in the wake of Charlie Kirk's assassination, these asymmetric

00:25:41.000 assassinations, whereby in you can have self-radicalized or radicalized in small groups,

00:25:47.140 um, assassins who go off and commit radical acts and really looking at ways to harden up these soft

00:25:54.200 targets. Obviously, Charlie's campus, um, tour was a soft target places like, uh, as we know,

00:26:00.760 this was a Metro station. We've been told for years, ever since the days of nine 11, that these

00:26:04.880 were soft targets. Uh, but certainly the white house itself, you know, you think with all the

00:26:09.100 security there and all the personnel and surveillance, that there'd be something more

00:26:13.840 that could be done. That being said, an ambush is an ambush, but certainly it's something that I

00:26:18.400 think that a lot of national security is going to end. Safety personnel are going to be focused on.

00:26:24.360 Absolutely. What you're going to see is a change in the national guards posture for force

00:26:29.180 protection, right? They're going to start looking at how they protect their people. And they're going

00:26:33.500 to start looking at their standing rules of engagement. You're also going to see the law

00:26:36.820 enforcement community take up a bit more, maybe of an aggressive posture around certain places,

00:26:42.200 people, places, and things to make sure that, uh, any would be attackers are put off by a show of

00:26:48.060 force. One thing I'll add to what you said is I find that a lot of the, uh, movements right now

00:26:54.400 are practicing what we used to call the, the leaderless resistance model. All of these folks

00:26:59.780 are out there. They're radicalized. They're looking for a reason to take action. They're

00:27:04.660 looking for the adoration of their so-called tribe and rhetoric, any kind of irresponsible talk

00:27:11.840 or agitation could move these people to action. So it's just another way of expanding the threat

00:27:18.000 environment for our law enforcement and national defense personnel. Hey, uh, Chris, can you stick

00:27:24.400 with us? Uh, appreciate it if you could. Absolutely. Sure. Chris Paihota, who's a former assistant

00:27:29.960 director of the FBI. Jack Posobiec is my wingman. We're going to get some other people. I think I'm

00:27:35.300 in communication with Eric Prince, Brian Glenn. We're going to get as much information about this

00:27:39.760 as possible. Real tragedy today near the white house, two national guard unit members, I believe from

00:27:47.080 West Virginia, uh, were shot. Do doctors have Black Friday sales? The doctors at Brickhouse

00:29:07.320 Okay, thanks. We're going to get John Solomon up here momentarily. Brian Glenn joins us. Jack

00:29:17.180 Posobiec's working a couple of contacts. Make sure we get full information to everyone. Brian Glenn,

00:29:24.120 President Trump is at Mar-a-Lago, so thank God he's not near this today. Vice President Vance is,

00:29:31.260 I think, in Kentucky. Any updates of what you know about White House staff or anyone having any insights

00:29:36.780 about this, sir? Yes, good evening. As of now, no, I don't have any updates from the White House other

00:29:44.580 than the true social posts that President pushed out earlier. I was telling the producer in the

00:29:51.680 break, yesterday I had a great conversation with a foreign National Guardsman from Mississippi at a

00:29:58.520 Starbucks right about a block away from where this incident happened today. They tell me they were going

00:30:04.120 to be here until March, and I asked them what has been the feedback from people on the streets as

00:30:09.820 they often are found picking up trash. They just, I had a video of them picking up trash just two days

00:30:16.060 ago in front of Lafayette Park there. They are excited to be in this city. It's an honor to serve

00:30:21.440 our country and be in our nation's capital. So as soon as I heard about this shooting, I instantly

00:30:27.140 thought about these three young men that so bravely want to serve our community and to see what

00:30:33.500 happened. Now, you know, I also started thinking about, well, is this much of a large, is this a

00:30:39.620 plan of a larger attack? Should we see more of these lone wolves on the streets around D.C.? And I know

00:30:45.920 that Pete Hetseth had announced that we're going to have an additional 500 National Guardsmen around

00:30:52.020 D.C. And I hope, Steve, that every single one of these men and women that are walking these streets

00:30:57.440 with the National Guard have some type of firearm on them. A lot of them don't, Steve. And luckily,

00:31:04.100 from what I understand today, the two gentlemen engaged in the shooting did have some type of

00:31:10.180 weapon on them. But I think it's imperative that we put these men and women on the streets 1.00

00:31:15.120 of Washington, D.C. to patrol these neighborhoods, have the ability to defend themselves. Very important.

00:31:22.340 Well, this was people on Capitol Hill that blinked and didn't really have the president's back

00:31:26.880 about the deployment of these troops. You know, you get tremendous blowback on this from all the

00:31:30.780 rhinos. Right now, Jack, I'm going to come to you. Brian, hang on. This is a typical response,

00:31:36.240 Jack. Jane Meyer, who's, you know, one of the worst of the worst. Caitlin Collins had put something out

00:31:41.280 about the Guardsmen being shot. Jane Meyer comes in. This is so tragic, so unnecessary. These poor

00:31:46.520 Guardsmen should never have been deployed. I live in D.C. and watched as they had virtually nothing to do

00:31:51.320 but pick up trash. It was a political show and at what cost. The left has never supported

00:31:58.460 having the National Guard there to back up local police and to back up Ice Age. Remember, 0.77

00:32:04.280 the Jane Meyers of the world do not want anybody deported. The only way they're going to win 0.68

00:32:08.260 elections is the illegal alien invasion. And of course, you know, just like Mondami won in New York 0.80

00:32:14.620 City. And so all they're doing is dumping on. They're not talking about the shooter. They're not

00:32:19.680 talking about, you know, these radical leftists and folks that are taking this in their own hands.

00:32:25.180 What they're doing is they're trashing the National Guard for just being there picking up trash. Your

00:32:30.060 thoughts, Jack Posobiec? Yeah, Steve, I'll say what I said earlier today and earlier in the week. No offense,

00:32:37.400 but it's time to let the men handle this. This idea that, oh, you know, we don't like these raids and

00:32:44.680 we don't like you're scared of the uniforms. These same people that were scared that President Trump

00:32:49.160 was having tanks at the army parade. Yeah, imagine an army parade for their birthday, the 250th,

00:32:55.260 that doesn't have a tank. All right. It's cut me a break. I'm sick of the overt feminization of our 1.00

00:33:01.540 culture, the overt feminization of America. You need rough men to commit acts of roughness in order 0.96

00:33:10.020 to keep people safe from violent animals, the kind of violent animals that would shoot up Charlie

00:33:15.440 Kirk, that would shoot up a school, that would shoot up National Guardsmen. I'm sorry, lady, but

00:33:20.340 that's just the facts. And if you can't handle it, then guess what? Maybe this line of business isn't

00:33:26.340 for you. Go work in a flower shop or something. That's perfectly fine. But you have no business

00:33:31.720 putting your opinion out there, especially when two members of National Guard who are conducting

00:33:35.820 law enforcement, high profile presence operations in front of the White House, the people's house

00:33:42.120 were just shot. She takes the side of the criminal. This is what they do, Steve, deny attacked and then

00:33:48.660 reverse victim and offender. It's called DARVO. First, they deny what happened. They attack the opposite side

00:33:54.440 and they reverse victim and offender. The victim, in her case, is the people of D.C. The victim is

00:33:59.980 the people who are victimized. It's like Slotkin saying that she was worried about the National

00:34:03.460 Guardsmen were going to be shooting up U.S. citizens. And Gavin Newsom said recently that

00:34:09.420 deploying the National Guard is an act of a dictator. He said it was an act of a dictator. And I remember,

00:34:15.960 Steve, in the wake of Charlie Kirk's murder, we were told, oh, we're going to tone down the rhetoric.

00:34:19.920 We're going to tone down the rhetoric. They didn't tone it down. They toned it up. They ratcheted up

00:34:25.260 against conservatives, against President Trump, and against our National Guardsmen and law

00:34:29.520 enforcement. And what did conservatives do? Conservatives started attacking each other with

00:34:33.420 the infighting and saying, oh, you can't have this guy on this podcast. You can't talk about that. And

00:34:38.700 they're more worried about that than the people being gunned down and the bodies being stacked in

00:34:43.980 America because of asymmetric civil warfare, which is currently ongoing. Steve, I would also like to

00:34:49.940 point out just here that as we're waiting for more confirmation on the description, we also know,

00:34:56.260 and I think it needs to be said, that President Trump just signed that executive order on the

00:35:01.260 Muslim Brotherhood. And the Muslim Brotherhood are known for extreme acts of violence, adherence to 0.89

00:35:08.860 their ideology or known for extreme acts of violence. You had Alex Jones and Laura Loomer on

00:35:13.600 earlier today talking about that. And I think as we describe all of the situation, we should also

00:35:19.400 point out that this does happen in the wake of the signing of IDEO.

00:35:24.420 We're going to get back to that. I got Jack Posobiec, my wingman from Human Events Daily. Chris

00:35:28.980 Paihota, former Assistant Director of the FBI, is good enough to join us. Brian Glenn, our White House

00:35:34.740 correspondent. I want to bring in John Solomon. John's joining us, I think, by phone. John, earlier

00:35:40.740 in the day, there was talk about this might be an ambush. CBS News reported that they said it was an

00:35:46.260 ambush. Law enforcement had told them 10 to 15 rounds. We then heard it was a targeted shooting

00:35:53.900 by DC Metro. It looks like the individual took five incoming. Have you got any update from your

00:36:02.720 sources, sir? Yes. What we understand is that as the assailant was coming across 17th Street,

00:36:10.740 turning on to 8th Street, he just opened fire on the guardsmen. Some were able to return fire.

00:36:16.560 He's wounded. He's critically injured. The guardsmen are critically injured. But it does look to be

00:36:21.560 a surprise, unprovoked, ambush-style attack. Literally, they're walking down the street,

00:36:27.940 and all of a sudden, this gentleman comes around the corner and immediately opens fire.

00:36:32.800 There's no provocation, according to the law enforcement officials I've talked to. Just

00:36:36.620 pure hatred, just opening gunfire and trying to wound these American heroes in uniform that have

00:36:43.560 been keeping our Capitol safe. So we don't know a lot. I want to point everybody back to something

00:36:48.220 that I think is really important. On Monday's show, we had Congressman Glenn Grossman. He has played a

00:36:53.860 very large role in helping people understand the Biden border crisis. It was he who discovered

00:36:57.760 tens of thousands of the border children, the unaccompanied minors, have been lost track of by

00:37:03.500 the Biden administration. Some of them ended up in the hands of cartels and traffickers because the

00:37:08.720 government didn't keep a close eye on them. He told me, he is 100% certain, that these six senators,

00:37:15.520 what they were trying to do in that video last week was to provoke people into thinking that the

00:37:22.320 National Guard's deployment to keep illegal aliens off the ground, to keep criminals off the ground

00:37:28.280 was illegal, that that's what they were trying to rile people up on. And if it turns out that this

00:37:33.380 gentleman's motive is somehow related to that, it's going to be a tragedy. And those six senators and

00:37:37.800 others who have been provoking and suggesting that what the National Guard is doing, like you just

00:37:43.240 mentioned, Jane Mayer, is somehow unlawful, unrighteous. These are the people that are provoking and

00:37:49.580 angering people around the country, creating a false narrative that somehow this is an illegal or

00:37:54.020 unrighteous effort to secure a city. And so we won't know the motive for a while. But I do think

00:37:59.700 there is concern that the boiled water that the left has done is in some ways put the National Guard

00:38:06.880 and others like ICE in grave danger. And it's a tragedy that people who are elected in office and hold

00:38:12.940 the highest offices in the land don't realize that their rhetoric contributes to a really unstable

00:38:19.040 and violent situation right now. We'll find out what this man's motive is. But it's so funny on

00:38:23.580 Monday, or tragic, I should say, on Monday, that Glenn Grossman was worried that people would take

00:38:28.520 from these six senators' language that the National Guard were somehow the bad people in this. And

00:38:34.780 that's the tragedy. Even if it's not the motive for this shooting, it shouldn't be the message

00:38:39.200 Americans are getting from their elected leaders. I would love if Denver right now could go ahead and

00:38:44.000 pull that clip from John Solomon's Monday show. I want to play it. Solomon, the evolution,

00:38:51.340 you know, Jane Mayer's mocking the National Guard about picking up trash. There's been this issue.

00:38:56.740 The evolution of this from when President Trump first did it, it was pressure from the left,

00:39:02.260 but you had people on Capitol Hill just weren't prepared to support President Trump. Because the

00:39:07.700 National Guard, from when they first came and had such a dramatic impact on crime,

00:39:12.680 as you remember, in the first couple weeks, there has been a bunch of people texting me now saying

00:39:17.000 a lot of the National Guard even carry weapons, don't have ammo in them. And of course, obviously

00:39:21.680 now some of the National Guard do not carry weapons. How did that happen? Who did not have

00:39:27.600 the president's back in this deployment of the National Guard for the safety and security of the

00:39:33.180 Capitol, sir? Yeah, listen, if you're trying to secure a Capitol where gun violence is frequent

00:39:39.320 and regular, you need to be armed, right? And we know that. And I think that if any guardsmen were

00:39:44.720 not armed, it appears that these guardsmen had at least small arms on them because they were able

00:39:48.740 to return fire or summon the crowd, a son in the group. I think they usually travel in groups of

00:39:53.460 four. Someone was able to get several shots off and wound this assailant. But we'll need to understand

00:39:59.840 who in that group had weapons, who did not. But you can't be a law enforcement official in the 21st

00:40:05.320 century in a city like Washington, D.C. where gun crime is high, where the gangs roam and have roamed

00:40:11.260 freely, though they've been reined in quite a bit the last few weeks, and not be armed. You got to be

00:40:16.240 on equal firepower with the bad guys. And so we'll get into that. I've seen a lot of the guardsmen

00:40:21.500 armed when I've engaged them. I've had some great conversations. I met a couple on 8th Street,

00:40:26.740 right where this happened just about a week ago, two weeks ago. I bought them some coffee. And

00:40:30.100 it's just good people. And they're proud to be defending their country, proud to be making

00:40:36.180 their capital a little safer. They see their work as righteous. And they see the critics as somehow

00:40:43.600 just silly. They don't appreciate what these men and women are doing. And I think at the end of the 0.88

00:40:49.360 day, if any of them are unarmed and they're out in the street, that's got to change because

00:40:53.760 anyone is a target these days. That is a sad, sad thing. We learned that tragically with Charlie.

00:40:59.700 And we're learning it again tragically today here on the night and eve when we should be

00:41:03.460 celebrating a holiday. We're mourning the terrible mourning of these two National Guardsmen.

00:41:10.080 And hopefully they're in critical condition. Hopefully they pull through.

00:41:14.600 John, there's a lot of, you know, the people on the left are even being as aggressive right now.

00:41:19.520 They never should have been deployed. This is all a power play by a dictator.

00:41:23.840 This instigation of this constantly by the left-wing politicians. Do you see a reaction

00:41:31.160 coming with President Trump? Is he finally going to say, I've had enough of this, sir?

00:41:35.980 Listen, he's been pretty tough the last several months. And he immediately swats down. Other

00:41:41.340 presidents would have allowed the senators to go unanswered. He didn't let that go unanswered.

00:41:46.660 He immediately called it what he believed it was, which was sedition. And he has ordered

00:41:51.040 investigations of them. He is countering at every step this narrative because he knows any moment

00:41:56.380 you stay silent, an inch is taken off of the debate line. And the left keeps surging in. And

00:42:01.840 it's, I've said this many times, what the left is engaged in is a war on truth. They are trying to

00:42:06.920 eliminate truth. It's, they try to make the bad guys, the good guys, the good guys, the bad guys.

00:42:12.000 They try to make the abnormal normal. They want to put men on women's podium and steal their medals 0.52

00:42:16.880 after an athletic competition. But, and the reason they're doing it, the reason they're waging this

00:42:22.320 war, and I've talked to many of the activists on the front lines, is they ultimately want to eradicate

00:42:26.500 the ultimate truth upon which this country is built. And that is that our, our creator endowed us

00:42:32.640 with certain inalienable rights. And they don't want them. They don't want that to be the truth

00:42:36.960 anymore. So as they destroy truth, they're marching towards eradicating that final truth

00:42:40.860 that our liberties come from God and can't be taken from government. I said this a few times

00:42:44.820 in speeches, and my friends on the left mocked me. And then Tim came, came out and said it out loud.

00:42:49.120 Yeah, but no, government gives you rights. You don't get them from anywhere else. You get them from

00:42:52.040 our governor, government. That is the truth that's under this truth on war, in this war on truth.

00:42:57.940 And I think those of us who have the bully pulpit or the bullhorn every day, we have to keep

00:43:06.680 countering the war on truth. We have to keep reminding people that the good guys are the

00:43:12.020 National Guardsmen, not the guy who fired unprovoked on them, that the good guys are the ICE agents.

00:43:17.440 They're not running up grannies and taking kids out of school. They're getting gang bangers and 0.94

00:43:22.020 drug traffickers off the street. We have to counter it every step of every day, because right now it's

00:43:27.820 an information war designed to eradicate the many truths that this country is built on.

00:43:33.680 John, before I let you go, I just wanted to end, and we're going to get it booted up as soon as we

00:43:37.300 can, but Reverend Al Sharpton was on MSNBC just moments ago, and he is pretty adamant. Al Sharpton

00:43:44.760 blames President Trump for National Guardsmen being shot in D.C., quote, as Nicole Wallace watches,

00:43:52.120 looks on with tears. She goes, the two people that are fighting for their lives, guardsmen,

00:43:57.820 that this president put there in harm's way. Your thoughts, sir?

00:44:02.800 It's ludicrous. The president did something to make the city safer. Those guardsmen, I know because

00:44:09.520 I've talked so many of them, I bought them coffee several times on the streets, they're proud to be

00:44:14.560 doing that. They don't feel forced and compelled. I mean, they obviously know they've been ordered

00:44:18.220 there, but they don't feel that way. They feel like this is a righteous job, and someone like Al

00:44:23.360 Sharpton or Nicole Wallace, who've imposed so many lies on the American people over the many years, 0.54

00:44:28.680 they're doing a disservice to those men and women. They don't even understand those men and women. They

00:44:32.880 don't know what makes them tick. They don't know the patriotism that they feel, and I've never seen

00:44:38.020 Al Sharpton or Nicole Wallace cry for any of the people who were gunned down day in and day out every

00:44:44.120 single day on the streets of Washington, D.C. They didn't shed a tear then, and the body toll is

00:44:49.840 enormous in D.C. People who are wounded and shot in this unlawful, lawless sort of society that the

00:44:56.420 D.C. government created in the nation's capital. They weren't crying then. They only cry when it's

00:45:01.100 convenient to make a case against Donald Trump. The American people are way smarter than Al Sharpton

00:45:06.440 or Nicole Wallace will ever be. They don't view it this way, and by the way, the men and women,

00:45:10.560 the fatigues that I walk by every day, they don't feel compelled by Donald Trump or that this is a

00:45:15.260 miserable job or that they've been put in a wrong place. They think they're in the right place,

00:45:19.700 at the right time, doing the right thing, and MSNBC should maybe wake up and spend a few days on the 0.91

00:45:24.340 street and talk to these amazing guardsmen. They'd find an extraordinarily different sentiment.

00:45:30.200 John, thank you for calling in. If you have anything else, let us know. We want to get you

00:45:33.760 back up. John Solomon, what's your, John, just the news and your Twitter handle?

00:45:38.960 Jay Solomon reports. Yeah, Jay Solomon reports on all social platforms.

00:45:43.680 Thank you, brother. Appreciate you.

00:45:44.980 Thank you. Take care.

00:45:45.960 Here's what I'd like to do. Jack Vosobis got a reporter in the street that's going to join

00:45:50.520 some of them. I'd like to play. Do we have the Al Sharpton? Can I play this right now? Let's go

00:45:55.280 ahead and play Al Sharpton. Two people fighting for their lives, guardsmen, that this president put

00:46:01.840 there. And as I said, I was one that was very vocal against that. But I'm not going to belittle the

00:46:07.700 fact that their lives at stake to get into a back and forth with the president. I can say that if I'm a member

00:46:14.980 of their families, I don't want to hear what he's saying about Honduras right now. I want to pray

00:46:19.800 that these two guardsmen who were ordered there and who were being told by the mayor was ambushed,

00:46:26.360 make it through. And all of this about sending in 500 people, what does that have to do with where

00:46:32.380 we are now? I think that we've got to, or those of us that have been opposed to the president's

00:46:37.220 policy, show that we are not going to morally match him by going down to a level of insensitivity.

00:46:43.620 There are two people fighting for their lives on Thanksgiving Eve. And it just seems ironic

00:46:48.820 to me that people that pardoned people assaulting police officers are now talking about how they're

00:46:56.480 going to uphold and look up to the people in the building. People in that building will

00:47:01.380 beat January 6th.

00:47:04.580 Jack, you see MSNBC in all his glory. Is Jack Posobiec, do we have him back up? We got Jack?

00:47:11.280 Yeah.

00:47:12.680 Okay. Hey, Jack, I think you've got, I think we've got WID Lyman up. You want to take it?

00:47:17.660 Yeah, let's do it. So WID Lyman, you're down there at the White House quite a bit. You're

00:47:23.600 covering it for Borderhawk News. You were there on the scene moments after. Tell us what you saw,

00:47:29.020 what were the sights and sounds, and talk to us how soon after you arrived.

00:47:34.140 Good to be with you guys tonight, and thank you. We got here a few minutes after the situation kind

00:47:38.860 of unfolded. Behind me here is Farragut Square. We're a block or two from the White House here,

00:47:44.140 and we just finished up a press conference with Mayor of Washington, Mayor Bowser,

00:47:49.400 FBI Director Kash Patel, and other officials, and they basically stated what we've heard so far.

00:47:55.100 Two National Guard men have been shot, are in critical condition at two different hospitals.

00:48:00.000 The suspect is also in critical condition. There is one suspect at this time that did not release

00:48:04.640 any further details about it. Basically, going forward, they're going to be investigating this

00:48:09.600 to the fullest extent of the law. I have a quote here from the D.C. Police Union.

00:48:13.520 The shooting of two National Guardsmen in D.C. is a despicable act. Our homicide detectives will

00:48:18.640 ensure that whoever has perpetrated this violence is prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.

00:48:23.660 And just this area, Jack, as you know, is very close to the White House. What we were told was

00:48:28.280 these National Guard men who move around in small groups, four to six, sometimes two,

00:48:33.420 were basically ambushed. The shooter came around a corner, opened fire right away in what appears to

00:48:38.480 be a very targeted attack on the National Guard here in Washington.

00:48:43.100 Witt, are you—now, we know there's been some photos that have gone around online about a potential

00:48:48.980 shooter. Are you able to confirm any of that? I'm sure you've seen them. Did you get a chance to see

00:48:54.180 the suspected shooter at all as they were loading him in? Any information on description regarding

00:48:59.180 this third individual who was shot, purportedly the shooter?

00:49:03.000 I can't confirm the photos that are going around, but oftentimes Twitter is ahead of the officials

00:49:09.480 in some ways. They did not confirm the photos during the press conference,

00:49:13.780 so we don't have more information about the suspect. What we do know is there appears to be

00:49:17.880 one suspect at this time.

00:49:21.720 One suspect, Steve.

00:49:23.620 Hey, Witt, a question. There was an earlier report this might be an ambush. The D.C. Metro did say it

00:49:31.380 was targeted. Do you have any other details when they say targeted? He just came around the corner

00:49:36.020 as soon as he saw the National Guard, he unloaded. Do we have any other backup or description about

00:49:42.980 when they say it was a targeted shooting, what that means?

00:49:47.300 That verbiage denotes, I think, that they didn't see the assailant coming, so more of an ambush.

00:49:52.480 What we were told was the guardsmen were going around a corner, and then the assailant came forwards

00:49:57.700 and opened fire. Targeted meaning that he's going after the National Guardsmen themselves.

00:50:02.340 This is not stopping another crime that does happen here in D.C. or another incident. It sounds

00:50:08.980 like he was going after or she was going after the National Guardsmen in this attack, and you see them

00:50:15.140 all over the place. As both of you know, guardsmen are walking around this part of D.C. in groups.

00:50:20.680 There are many, many of them, and there should be more coming in according to what the administration

00:50:25.620 is saying 500 more should be on the ground. But targeted in the sense of going after the guardsmen,

00:50:31.140 an ambush in the sense of they did not know it was coming.

00:50:34.980 Hey, Witt, can you hang on a second and stick with us? I want to go to Chris Pai-Hota, 0.76

00:50:39.780 a former assistant director of the FBI. Chris, the same question to you. Any thoughts on this,

00:50:45.220 what they're calling a targeted shooting or a targeted event here?

00:50:50.580 Again, hard to say, Steve. Here's what I would be looking at right now. The National Guard folks,

00:50:58.740 they generally will walk on a routine, patterned patrol. This individual could have watched them

00:51:06.980 for a few days, could have known when they were going to be coming around, could have been lying

00:51:10.820 in wait for them, and then opened fire. It's hard to tell right now what the word targeted means.

00:51:17.300 And I think what they're saying is that maybe this individual specifically opened fire on the

00:51:23.380 National Guard folks, and it wasn't a spray of bullets all around the area. It was a targeted,

00:51:32.820 aimed firing at the uniformed personnel.

00:51:39.460 Hey, Witt, when you said that the shooter's in critical condition, was that said at the press

00:51:45.380 conference? Did the DC Metro mention that? I don't remember Cash saying that. I know the two

00:51:50.900 guardsmen are critical, but you also picked up that the shooter himself, the assailant himself,

00:51:55.860 is in critical condition? That is correct. I believe the White House has also stated that

00:52:02.260 President Trump has a tweet that he posted, looks like on Truth Social, and then back over to his main

00:52:07.220 account where he says, is also severely wounded. So I believe they're indicating that the shooter was

00:52:13.780 injured of some capacity during this escalation. I did hear reports of other guardsmen getting

00:52:19.060 involved. We know Metro Police were on the scene very quickly. I wasn't sure how he was injured at

00:52:23.780 this time, but it does appear that he has suffered some injury.

00:52:27.380 Witt, can you hang with us? We're going to take a short commercial break at the top of the hour to

00:52:33.940 reset here. I've got Jack Posobiec with us. Jack is the host of Human Events Daily,

00:52:39.220 our two o'clock show, and often the wingman for the team out at Turning Point. I used to do thought

00:52:44.500 crimes with Charlie Kirk every week. Chris Paihota, former assistant director of the FBI,

00:52:51.220 has been kind enough to join us for trying to get Eric Prince on. Brian Glenn is going to reboot and

00:52:56.180 be back up in a moment. And of course, we have Wid Lyman. Wid, is it Border Hawks reporting,

00:53:02.900 Border Hawks News? Is that what your network is, your channel?

00:53:06.020 Thank you. Singular, borderhawk.news is the website, and then borderhawknews on Twitter.

00:53:12.020 But just a singular, although there are many borderhawks, I'll admit that.

00:53:16.660 But you're the hawk of the hawks. Wid, stick around with us. A big tragedy today,

00:53:22.500 two National Guardsmen gunned down in a targeted shooting, according to DC Metro and Cash Patel,

00:53:29.060 the head of the FBI. We're going to take a short commercial break. We're going to roll into the

00:53:32.740 six o'clock hour here on Real America's Voice. Be back in a moment.

00:53:45.060 This is the primal scream of a dying regime. Pray for our enemies.

00:54:15.380 Because we're going medieval on these people. I got a free shot at all these networks lying

00:54:21.140 about the people. The people have had a belly full of it. I know you don't like hearing that. I know

00:54:26.340 you try to do everything in the world to stop that, but you're not going to stop it. It's going to happen.

00:54:29.860 And where do people like that go to share the big line? Mega media. I wish in my soul, I wish that any

00:54:37.860 of these people had a conscience. Ask yourself, what is my task and what is my purpose? If that

00:54:44.740 answer is to save my country, this country will be saved.

00:54:50.180 War Room. Here's your host, Stephen K. Mann.

00:54:53.540 Okay. Well, I want to thank John Solomon and the team. We're here in the studio. So we will take

00:55:02.900 the six o'clock hour. We have Chris Paiota, former assistant director of the FBI is with us. The

00:55:11.700 border hawk is with us. He's in the streets near the shooting itself. Of course, Jack Posobiec is with

00:55:17.060 us. What I'd like to do right now for the audience who are just coming into the show,

00:55:21.060 is I want to play, there's a very short press avail by the director of the FBI, by Mayor Bowser,

00:55:28.500 by the acting assistant of DC Metro. Let's go ahead and play that and I'll get commentary

00:55:36.580 from the team. Let's go ahead and let it rip.

00:55:38.020 Good afternoon, everybody. My name is Cash Patel, FBI director.

00:55:50.100 We're here to brief you on the tragic events that happened today at approximately 2.15 local time

00:55:55.380 in Washington, D.C., where two of our brave members of the National Guard and Department of War

00:56:01.220 were brazenly attacked in a horrendous act of violence. They were shot. They're in critical

00:56:05.940 condition. As you can see behind me, we have assembled the full force of both the federal

00:56:11.140 and state and local law enforcement agencies to bring bear all of our resources to make sure

00:56:16.420 we find the perpetrators responsible for this heinous act. And make no mistake,

00:56:20.100 they will be brought to justice. Since this is an assault on a federal law enforcement officer,

00:56:25.220 this will be treated at the federal level as an assault on a federal law enforcement officer.

00:56:30.740 The FBI will lead out on that mission with our interagency partners,

00:56:34.020 to include the Department of Homeland Security, Secret Service, ATF, DEA.

00:56:38.020 And we're thankful for the mayor's assistance in this matter. The Metropolitan Police Department

00:56:42.820 and their skills in investigating homicides and gun shootings in this city is exceptional.

00:56:48.420 We will work together collaboratively because this is a matter of national security,

00:56:53.060 because it's a matter of pride. President Trump has been informed. We've been in contact with the

00:56:57.860 White House. We will shortchange the American public with no resources to make sure we find and safeguard

00:57:04.820 our nation's capital right here in Washington, D.C., and bring anyone responsible for this heinous act

00:57:10.260 of violence to justice. I would lastly like to add to the American public and the world,

00:57:17.060 please send your prayers to those brave warriors who are in critical condition and their families.

00:57:22.420 They are here serving our country. They are here protecting everyday Americans and citizens around

00:57:27.380 the world in our nation's capital. They are the heroes of this day, and we must remember them on

00:57:32.100 this day and every day and their families and the sacrifice they have made. I will now turn it over to

00:57:36.660 Chief Carroll of the Metropolitan Police Department. Thank you.

00:57:42.580 Good afternoon, everyone. My name is Jeff Carroll. I'm the Executive Assistant Chief here at the Metropolitan Police

00:57:46.900 Department. At approximately 2.15 this afternoon, members of the D.C. National Guard were on high

00:57:52.980 visibility patrols in the area of 17th and I Street Northwest when a suspect came around the corner,

00:57:59.940 raised his arm with a firearm, and discharged at the National Guard members.

00:58:04.340 The National Guard members, there were other members that were in the area. They were able to,

00:58:08.420 after some back and forth, able to subdue the individual and bring them into custody. Within moments,

00:58:14.740 members of law enforcement in the area were also able to assist and bring that individual into

00:58:18.820 custody. At this time, as the director mentioned, the National Guard members are being treated at a

00:58:23.620 local hospital. D.C. Fire and EMS respond to the scene to provide first aid for those individuals and

00:58:29.300 transport them to a local hospital. The suspect in this case was also transported for treatment at a

00:58:34.020 local hospital. Madam Mayor. I'm Muriel Bowser. I'm the Mayor of Washington, D.C.,

00:58:41.780 and I too want to send my thoughts and prayers to the families of the guardsmen and to the guardsmen who

00:58:50.740 are in critical condition in a local hospital. I am joined by members and leadership from the D.C. National Guard,

00:59:01.060 from the West Virginia National Guard, United States Secret Service, Deputy Mayor Pea, Fire Chief Donnelly,

00:59:07.620 and Metro's General Manager, Randy Clark. And we join with the FBI Director in ensuring that MPD

00:59:18.900 investigates, the U.S. Attorney prosecutes this case to the fullest extent of the law. I've had the

00:59:25.860 opportunity to brief U.S. Attorney General Pam Bondi, who was speaking to the President when I called,

00:59:34.820 as well as the United States Attorney Pirro, who assured me that this case will have her office's

00:59:42.740 complete attention. Mayor, was there any other suspect? Chief? Sure. So no, at this time there's

00:59:50.020 no indication that there was any other suspect. The one suspect that was involved in this incident,

00:59:53.700 they were shot during the interaction and they were transported to the hospital for treatment.

00:59:57.940 Mayor, does this validate the need for the National Guard here in D.C.?

01:00:02.580 What we know, Andrea, is that this is a targeted shooting. One individual who appeared to target

01:00:08.900 these guardsmen, that individual has been taken into custody.

01:00:12.740 You can tell us more details on the condition of the two National Guardsmen and whether or not

01:00:19.380 anyone else was injured. And a quick question, follow-up for the FBI Director. You said that

01:00:25.220 we'll make sure we find the perpetrators for this act. So just to clarify, the person believed to be

01:00:30.580 responsible is in custody and there are no other suspects. Sure. So I can start out. Again, Chief

01:00:36.020 Carroll from MPD. So both the individuals, the guard members, they are in critical condition at local

01:00:40.660 hospital at this time being treated. At this point, we have no other suspects. We have reviewed video from

01:00:45.620 the area. It appears, like I said, to be a lone gunman that raised the firearm and ambushed these members

01:00:50.260 of the National Guard. And he was quickly taken into custody by other National Guard members and

01:00:54.100 law enforcement members.

01:00:54.980 Is there anything to tell us about a motive?

01:00:56.820 No. At this time, obviously, we're very in the preliminary stages of investigation. You know,

01:01:01.220 there's a lot of things, a lot of agents that are here from various federal agencies,

01:01:04.100 law enforcement agencies. We have the full power of the FBI and our federal partners here,

01:01:07.860 the task force. So we're looking at all those different aspects, but we don't have any motive.

01:01:11.300 Are the National Guardsmen armed, sir?

01:01:12.740 The National Guardsmen that were shot, I'm told they were armed.

01:01:16.500 Do they get off jobs?

01:01:17.940 At this time, that's part of the preliminary investigation.

01:01:19.780 Do we know how the suspect was admitted?

01:01:24.100 Sure. So how the suspect was apprehended, as I said, the individual, the suspect came

01:01:27.940 around the corner. He immediately started firing a firearm at the two National Guard members.

01:01:32.740 So at that time, there were other National Guard members that were in the area.

01:01:36.180 They heard the gunfire. They actually were able to intervene and to kind of hold down the suspect

01:01:41.940 after he had been shot on the ground until law enforcement got there within moments.

01:01:44.980 And he was shot by a National Guard team?

01:01:47.220 At this point, we're still investigating exactly who shot that individual. It's not clear at this

01:01:50.660 time.

01:01:50.820 Were there D.C. police in the area?

01:01:53.620 We don't know what kind of weapon. There was D.C. police. It happened right in front of the metro,

01:01:57.540 although there is no indication that the perpetrator was on the metro. So there's

01:02:00.420 Metro Transit police in the area, and obviously being on 17th Street by the White House,

01:02:04.580 Uniform Division Secret Service were in the immediate area as well.

01:02:07.140 What kind of weapon the alleged perpetrator used?

01:02:09.620 We do not know at this time. We're going to be able to take a couple more.

01:02:14.020 The law enforcement has been able to question the suspect, or is his condition so severe that

01:02:17.940 you haven't been able to have a conversation?

01:02:19.620 Sure. And so as I said, we're very preliminary in the investigation,

01:02:21.940 so we're looking to all aspects of who the individual is,

01:02:24.660 his connections. At this time, he's still in the hospital receiving treatment.

01:02:27.860 And I would just like to, hang on. I would just like to add the reason that this-

01:02:31.460 Chris, I want to ask you, because you've been with the FBI for many decades. The headline,

01:02:38.500 breaking news from NBC, authorities still working to identify the shooter. Now,

01:02:42.820 we understand that the shooter was not cooperating with authorities, but Tom Warner's reporting,

01:02:49.860 authorities believe they are close to identifying the man they believe is responsible for today's

01:02:54.420 targeted attack. Two senior law enforcement officials briefed on the investigation, say,

01:03:00.020 how would the FBI go? If the guy's not cooperating, he's taking a couple of slugs,

01:03:04.740 how would the FBI go about that?

01:03:08.420 Well, you could take his fingerprints, first of all, make sure he's not in any of our

01:03:12.180 biometric databases. You'd also be able to do facial recognition, see if he comes up in any

01:03:17.540 social media or internet channels. And there are other court-ordered activities that the FBI could

01:03:24.900 do to match identity. So they would start that right away. If the guy's not cooperating, that's

01:03:30.580 not going to, that's only going to slow him down so much and trying to identify

01:03:34.900 the shooter and any type of networks or any type of relationships he has going to social media, all of

01:03:39.860 that? That's correct. They're going to start doing that immediately. If he is uncooperative,

01:03:44.980 meaning he won't give his own biographic information for them to check, they'll start

01:03:50.260 running other ways to validate his identity. And again, as you said, to see if he has a network

01:03:56.180 of friends around him that warrant investigation. If someone was not cooperating, but you had the

01:04:03.140 ability to take fingerprints, you do the facial recognition, other technical aspects the FBI had,

01:04:09.780 how long would that take the FBI? Is that a matter of minutes? Is it 30 minutes, an hour? How long,

01:04:15.460 how, you know, we keep hearing about Palantir and all these databases, how sophisticated these

01:04:21.700 databases and how accessible they are to agents in a hospital with a guy that's probably in ICU?

01:04:28.900 Well, what you have right now is, I hate to say a willing participant. He is unconscious,

01:04:35.540 right? He may not be fully conscious. He may be under the influence of pain medication,

01:04:40.900 or he may be just coming out of an operation. What they can do is access all available FBI

01:04:46.580 national asset databases. The FBI maintains all of the National Criminal Information Center

01:04:54.580 data. They maintain all the biometric information for the FBI, and they also have access to other,

01:05:00.500 I would just say, repositories of information that they can check in their own internal records,

01:05:07.780 as well as across the law enforcement and intelligence communities.

01:05:12.980 Jack Posobiec. Chris, thanks. Just hang with us. Posobiec, any updates on what you're hearing? I know

01:05:18.660 there's a lot of rumors going around, a ton of information. I don't know if you had a chance

01:05:22.980 to filter it. Were you hearing anything else?

01:05:24.740 Well, Steve, of course, we are digging in more on this individual. As you mentioned before,

01:05:32.180 already no ID been made, but I do know from contacts within the government that that's

01:05:39.700 exactly what they're doing right now. They're running his facial identification, trying to see

01:05:43.140 if he can match in, not only for the law enforcement databases, but also with recent arrivals

01:05:50.020 at points of entry, airports to the United States, international travel, trying to see if any of his

01:05:54.420 his photo was taken at any aircraft or airport in recent times, see if it matches using that facial

01:06:00.900 recognition database through the Department of Homeland Security. So, of course, there's a lot

01:06:05.460 that's coming in. Still hearing word on the National Guardsmen that they're not out of the woods yet,

01:06:10.420 and that we do want to keep everyone praying for them. The other piece that I'm hearing aside from

01:06:15.220 that is that tonight at 8 p.m. Eastern, there's going to be a group of people that are gathering

01:06:21.300 at the National Mall calling for a candlelight vigil. So if anyone wants to reach out to that,

01:06:26.420 it's the National Mall, excuse me, the Washington Monument on the National Mall. So the Washington

01:06:31.220 Monument, 8 p.m. is where people are gathering for a candlelight vigil.

01:06:34.420 Okay, 8 p.m., that is right. If you're at the White House, just look right down. You see the rise,

01:06:39.460 and you see the Washington Monument, hard to miss. We're going to take a short commercial break.

01:06:44.900 Johnny Connell take us out with America Heart. I want to thank our sponsor for tonight. Didn't

01:06:49.860 get our reads in, but Birch Gold, make sure you go check out with Philip Patrick and the team

01:06:55.300 in times of turbulence. And man, we have times of turbulence. We're going to come back.

01:06:58.820 Black Borderhawk is down there right near the scene of the shooting where we get him to put it in

01:07:04.500 context of how actually close this was to the White House. I want to thank everybody who's helped us

01:07:09.620 with the broadcast so far and all the information's coming in. We're trying to glean right now what's

01:07:15.060 going on with the two heroes, the two National Guardsmen that were shot. Also with the perpetrator,

01:07:21.700 it looks like the FBI is with a witness who is not working with the FBI, coming to some conclusion

01:07:31.300 about who this is. I'm sure we'll hear about that hopefully not too long. Short commercial break.

01:07:35.940 We're going to return to this horrific tragedy right near the White House today in Washington, D.C.

01:07:42.340 back in a moment.
