Summary

Sen. Cory Booker (D-N.J.) joins CNN's Dana Bash (D) to discuss the latest in the fight against the Trump administration over the firings of six members of Congress, and why they should be prosecuted.

Transcript

00:00:00.000 In my case, Secretary Hegseth said, prosecute him under the Uniform Code of Military Justice for,
00:00:06.200 by the way, reciting the Uniform Code of Military Justice. It's obviously ridiculous.
00:00:12.520 But this is an attempt to silence me, to get me to not hold this administration accountable.
00:00:19.800 We have a president who doesn't understand the Constitution, who installed an unqualified
00:00:24.740 Secretary of Defense. I cannot think of a Secretary of Defense in the history of our country that is
00:00:30.820 less qualified than Pete Hegseth. He should not be in this position. He should have been fired
00:00:35.880 after Signal Gate. Now he should be fired again for this, if this is accurate. So he's not going
00:00:42.780 to get me to back down. But what he is doing is sending a very chilling message across our entire
00:00:48.740 nation, not only in the military, but the civilian workforce. Who's going to speak up and say anything
00:00:54.060 if they see something that's unlawful or see something waste, fraud, and abuse? Why would
00:00:59.660 anyone speak out if they can go and prosecute, try to prosecute a U.S. senator?
00:01:05.020 Is it happening?
00:01:06.080 Well, I don't know. I mean, I was notified. I was notified about this through a tweet,
00:01:12.300 the same tweet that you saw. And that demonstrates how unserious this administration is. They care
00:01:18.440 they care more about the publicity about this than the process or the law. I haven't been notified by
00:01:25.160 the Navy. By the Navy or the FBI. So no court martial. We got something about from the FBI. But
00:01:31.700 the thing we received from the FBI, just like the president said, saying that we should be hanged.
00:01:37.460 The thing we received from the FBI is more intimidation.
00:01:41.480 What did it say?
00:01:42.900 Well, it just said there was no point of contact. It had something about coming in for an interview.
00:01:50.720 And the question here should be, you know, why did the FBI decide to do this? Or do you think maybe
00:01:57.480 the president told the FBI director to go after these six members of Congress? So more bullying and
00:02:05.640 intimidation. But Dana, I'm not backing down. These guys don't scare me. They're not serious
00:02:11.420 people. I mean, the president of the United States and the secretary of defense.
00:02:15.300 Well, Joe, we're going to have a real series of tests now about what we mean by the rule of law in
00:02:21.160 the United States. What we mean when we say a judge, a judicial order has has standing and that
00:02:31.060 people are subject to it. And if they disobey that order, they're subject to contempt of court.
00:02:36.260 We're going to have tests of whether the rule of law applies to combat in the way that it
00:02:42.720 traditionally has across the board. We're going to see just what our legal system in the end
00:02:52.700 is worth in terms of guardrails, protections. And in the end, that will come down to our Supreme
00:02:59.900 Court, which will decide a series of key cases and set the framework certainly for the rest of
00:03:05.520 this administration. But I think for the future going forward. But it's a time in which I think
00:03:12.280 the rule of law is precious to us because we're seeing situations in which it seems to be abused
00:03:19.740 with enormous consequences for people, people shot in the water helplessly, people thrown out of
00:03:28.120 vehicles, cuffed in the situations you're describing in our cities. So it's it's a time when that clarity
00:03:35.780 is absolutely necessary. And there is the beginning, thank goodness, of a bipartisan effort to be more
00:03:42.920 serious in looking at exactly what the law says and how everybody members of the Trump administration
00:03:51.300 included are subject to it. I said something very simple and non-controversial. And Donald Trump said
00:03:59.440 I should be hanged, executed, prosecuted. Pete Hegg says that I should be court-martialed. I mean,
00:04:07.320 how ridiculous is this? We say follow the law and this is their response. These are not serious people.
00:04:12.920 And Kristen, this is meant to just intimidate us. We're sticking up for the Constitution here and
00:04:18.380 the rule of law. And they're saying these folks should be executed for doing that, doing it,
00:04:24.800 acting like they're going to own Washington forever. It's crazy. The country's been what it's been for
00:04:33.040 the last 30 years. It's basically 33 percent Republican, 33 percent Democrat and then 33 percent
00:04:38.240 independent. And we can quibble about the specificity of those numbers. But that's essentially
00:04:42.520 the reality. You live in a 50-50 country. And every time that these parties calculate like Trump
00:04:48.060 is, you can just play to your base and you can own the other side and you can leverage maximally
00:04:53.140 the power that you have. Independents say, I don't like it. I want my economy to work. I want my
00:04:58.120 health care premiums not to go up 18 percent. And I want my kids' schools not to suck. If you can
00:05:02.860 deliver on those things, I'll vote for you again. Then the party doesn't deliver on it. They get
00:05:07.900 diverted by these these topics that most people don't really care about. I don't think many people
00:05:13.200 in America were thinking about Venezuela at all unless you were from there originally. I don't
00:05:18.420 think most people are that worried about whether or not there's a drug flow coming illegally and
00:05:22.840 whether that's the number one priority of the U.S. military. When you do that. If the Republicans want
00:05:28.280 to maximize their victories in 2026, they need to have they need to go back in the way back machine
00:05:34.360 to 1992. And remember the immortal words of that great strategist, James Carville. It's the economy,
00:05:41.280 stupid, he said to to. And you've got to have an agenda that is forward looking. What are we going
00:05:46.920 to have in the way of pro growth policies that Americans will say, yeah, that'll make my family
00:05:51.720 and my community and my financial prospects better. And don't forget health care. Carville famously
00:05:58.180 said the Republicans have got to have a health care agenda. Otherwise, they're going to be in deep
00:06:03.000 trouble. This is the primal scream of a dying regime. Pray for our enemies because we're going
00:06:13.480 to medieval on these people. I got a free shot. All these networks lying about the people. The
00:06:20.360 people have had a belly full of it. I know you don't like hearing that. I know you try to do
00:06:24.320 everything in the world to stop that, but you're not going to stop it. It's going to happen.
00:06:27.320 And where do people like that go to share the big line? Mega media. I wish in my soul, I wish that
00:06:35.040 any of these people had a conscience. Ask yourself, what is my task and what is my purpose? If that
00:06:42.080 answer is to save my country, this country will be saved.
00:06:47.680 It's Monday, this one December in the year of our Lord, 2025 strap in. It's going to be pretty intense
00:07:01.640 this morning. We've got a lot to get through. Far be it from me to agree with Karl Rove or my good
00:07:08.580 buddy, brother Kudlow over at Fox Business. But we have been preaching the gospel of the growth agenda
00:07:15.580 ever since the big, beautiful bill because guess what? You made a bet on the growth agenda and you
00:07:20.680 got to work every day nonstop to make sure the bet pays off. We're going to start at the Treasury
00:07:24.760 Department, Joe Lavagna. Look, Joe, you wrote a really incredible piece and you were out on media
00:07:30.020 late last week over Thanksgiving about affordability and the actions that Treasury and the President are
00:07:36.140 taking on that. And it's fantastic. I want to start with that. But the key to this, as we've said,
00:07:42.840 is the big, beautiful bill, the supply side tax cut coupled with President Trump's redoing of the
00:07:48.980 world's commercial relationships to drive manufacturing back to the United States.
00:07:53.900 Let's start in affordability, actions taken, and then we'll get into growth, sir.
00:07:58.480 Sure. Thank you, Steve, for having me in a belated happy Thanksgiving. On the one big,
00:08:02.320 beautiful bill, there's a few pieces to it, very important. On the CapEx expenditure side,
00:08:06.500 it allows companies permanently to deduct 100% of their capital expenditure when they invest in
00:08:13.000 computers, other sorts of technologies. That matters because it lifts productivity. With higher
00:08:17.760 productivity, you get faster wages. That increases affordability. The next piece, Steve, is the 100%
00:08:24.100 expensing for structures. That will start from the beginning of this year and go to 2028. What that
00:08:29.620 will encourage is a factory sector boom that will help us re-industrialize by creating the infrastructure,
00:08:36.280 necessary to produce the goods that people want. Those are going to entail high-paying jobs,
00:08:43.020 both the construction jobs and the people that will work in those factories. That's another way
00:08:46.780 to lift affordability. And last but not least is the no tax on TIPS and overtime. That will increase
00:08:52.820 after-tax pay. In the case of TIPS, it's about $1,700 per year extra income to households,
00:09:00.480 and on the overtime, potentially upwards of $1,800, according to CEO analysis. So if you want to deal
00:09:05.760 with affordability, what the Trump administration is doing is giving people good jobs with high wages.
00:09:13.660 Are you confident, is Treasury confident, or are you working with Commerce that, for instance,
00:09:18.840 the CapEx, that's not simply going into data centers and the energy production you need for
00:09:24.520 the data centers? Are you guys having a feel now that it actually is coming back to even more
00:09:30.640 basic manufacturing, kind of the manufacturing hegemon that we want to become or return to,
00:09:36.920 instead of just, and I'm not faulting artificial intelligence. I've got a lot of problems with
00:09:42.740 artificial intelligence. I understand you need the data centers, but is the concentration of CapEx
00:09:47.500 right now not just in data centers? Yeah. So Steve, when you look at the GDP data,
00:09:52.580 you obviously see AI-related investment very strong. However, if you also look below the surface,
00:09:59.500 you see very good spending on transit equipment, very strong spending on just business equipment
00:10:04.680 or industrial equipment. So it transcends the AI. We know from the first Trump administration,
00:10:10.320 when we had 100% expensing, it wasn't permanent then, it's permanent now, you get all sorts of
00:10:14.980 investment that give people the tools and the ability to earn more in their job. Now on the factory
00:10:20.140 incentive, which is very novel. Steve, just to give you an example, normally you would depreciate
00:10:24.200 a factory over 39 and a half years. We're going to now be able to depreciate a factory immediately
00:10:29.700 in the year it was done, and it does not include data centers. So we're very hopeful you're going to
00:10:34.520 get some good old-fashioned cyclical type of industries that create good jobs with good pay
00:10:40.380 that will protect our supply chains and rejuvenate the manufacturing sector, which has suffered
00:10:46.360 massively under the prior administration and, of course, for the bulk of the last 20-odd years.
00:10:51.980 How do you, I know it's not just GDP growth, but it's GDP growth per cap, you know, you're getting it
00:10:58.880 back to the actual individual and to the family unit. How do you avoid, I assume, in the numbers you're
00:11:04.320 looking at for the fourth quarter, which hasn't finished, and even in the third quarter, that the
00:11:09.360 government shutdown had some impact on that, on a growth rate. How do you avoid the Democrats
00:11:16.440 using that as another tool when we go back to the CR fight that's going to happen right after we get
00:11:22.600 back from the holidays? Because the CR, I think, terminates on January 20th.
00:11:28.620 So, Steve, look, in the second quarter, we take federal spending out. We grew four and a half percent.
00:11:33.700 It looks like we grew at four percent in the third quarter. Both of those quarters were private sector-led.
00:11:39.160 Both consumption and capital expenditures, in part related to the supply-side initiatives that you talked
00:11:44.760 about. Over the weekend, the spending data suggests that consumer spending accelerated this November
00:11:50.660 versus last November. There will be a hit on the government side. The Secretary's mentioned perhaps we lose
00:11:56.780 a point and a half on GDP, but we're still probably looking at a good quarter for growth, and we expect that,
00:12:03.000 Steve, to be made up next quarter. I mean, the thing about the bill that's so important is the forward
00:12:08.260 is very, very positive because you've got tax incentives that are incentivizing businesses,
00:12:14.540 encouraging businesses to spend on capital. That always leads to faster hiring and a solid economy.
00:12:21.260 You overlay that with the energy and what the administration is doing on the energy side,
00:12:24.640 where energy costs have come down dramatically. We're seeing it on the gasoline side. We're trying
00:12:29.720 to do things on the nuclear side to provide cheap and abundant energy across the board.
00:12:33.720 That's really the mix, Steve, of a very generational shift in investment and growth,
00:12:40.100 and I'm very optimistic about it, and President Trump's the person that can engineer this sort of boom.
00:12:46.540 I think you guys are very close, I understand, at Treasury, to announcing the Trump accounts.
00:12:51.000 There's also going to be not just the no tax on tips, less tax on seniors, of course,
00:12:58.720 less tax on overtime. Things are going to be announced and going to be hit, and it'll hit
00:13:02.740 when people get their tax refunds. What do you anticipate on that? Is that going to be another
00:13:07.440 infusion of cash and stimulus into the economy?
00:13:10.980 I don't want to preempt all the great news that's coming on the Trump accounts, but it's an
00:13:15.220 incredible program that's going to build wealth and raise living standards for young boys and girls
00:13:22.080 who are born. We'll get those in their Trump accounts. Broadly speaking, on the no tax on tips
00:13:29.260 and overtime, that should net upwards of about $200 billion, Steve, to folks next year. Some of it
00:13:35.540 will come in refunds, which they'll get early in the first quarter. Some of it they'll see their
00:13:40.200 after-tax income go up because they'll have lower withholding taken out, and that could be worth up
00:13:45.580 about six-tenths of GDP. So it's very encouraging, and certainly when you don't tax overtime, you're going
00:13:50.580 to encourage people to work more. You're going to incentivize people to give their hard-earned
00:13:54.100 efforts to keep more of their after-tax pay. I mean, it's a very good story that we need to
00:13:58.080 really get out and market and message more, because this is money that's going to go right
00:14:01.780 to people's pocketbooks and alleviate that affordability issue that you highlight is so
00:14:06.460 important to folks. Just hammer it every day. It's a great story, and it's being executed on.
00:14:11.520 It's starting to happen. Joe, where do people get you on the official account over Treasury
00:14:15.240 and your personal account, sir? Sure. Thank you, Steve. At Lavornianomics, and of course,
00:14:19.860 more importantly, at Sex Scott Besson, at Sex Scott Besson is a Treasury Secretary who's got
00:14:25.880 some great tweets. Thank you. He certainly does. Thank you, Joe, for starting out the week with us.

00:15:11.960 Inflation is still too high. The U.S. dollar is still too weak. And the government debt is

00:16:52.620 Okay, welcome back. Matt Van Epps joins us from Tennessee 7. We're in a dogfight down there. We
00:16:58.900 couldn't have a better fighter. Matt, nine combat tours, United States Military Academy graduate
00:17:04.800 class of 2005. I think you spent 10 years in. Matt, just summarize your curriculum vitae here
00:17:13.220 before we talk about what the war on posse needs to do today.
00:17:17.320 Well, Steve, honored to be on with you. Thank you so much. We're excited. We just left a huge rally.
00:17:24.860 The president called into it. The speaker is in town. And it really, my background is one of
00:17:31.640 leadership and service. As you mentioned, West Point was a special operations aviation combat
00:17:37.940 helicopter pilot. Went on to work in small business here in Nashville as a leader. Served in Tennessee
00:17:43.420 state government. And I'm still serving in the Tennessee Army National Guard today. And that real
00:17:48.620 world boots on the ground. Leadership experience is a differentiator in this race. But it's also
00:17:55.000 the other differentiators is that my opponent is super far left, endorsed by the socialist,
00:18:00.720 does not like the district that she's trying to represent. And the contrast here could not be more
00:18:07.020 clear. And it's why I need everybody, every Republican, every American who loves freedom to get out and vote
00:18:13.680 tomorrow in the Tennessee Southern congressional district. So is there a place to go today to find
00:18:20.660 out if people are confused about their districts or places people can go, your website or people to
00:18:26.540 talk to if people want to help with a phone bank? We need a massive turnout tomorrow. I understand the
00:18:31.040 weather might be inclement. So where should people go? What should people do? So you can get that
00:18:38.020 information on my website, mattfortn.com. That's mattfortn.com. We've got election information links to the
00:18:47.140 Secretary of State's website so you can find your polling location. But that's mattfortn.com. And I
00:18:53.720 appreciate that a whole lot. Matt, just one question. Your opponent, correct me if I'm wrong, didn't she
00:19:00.600 was caught on tape saying she hated country music and she didn't like Nashville? She actually wants to
00:19:06.580 represent this district in Congress, sir? Yes, sir. That's right. She said on tape she hates Nashville.
00:19:13.840 She hates country music. But it goes even further than that. She wants to defund the police, abolish
00:19:20.140 prisons. She supports transgender surgery for minors without parental consent. And she wants new
00:19:27.400 and higher taxes to fund her socialist agenda. She's been endorsed by the Democratic Socialists of
00:19:33.360 America. So there's a whole lot there. And the distinction between the two of us could not be
00:19:39.800 more clear. Matt, one more time. This audience wants to get involved. Where do they go today?
00:19:45.960 Yes, sir. It's mattfortn.com. That's mattfortn.com. And I need everybody to get out tomorrow and vote.
00:19:54.580 Need them to fight through any bad weather, be safe. But get to the polls and let's bring this thing home.
00:19:59.740 And we're going to win decisively tomorrow. Matt Van Epps, thank you very much. A warrior and
00:20:05.140 patriot. Thank you, sir. Appreciate you. Thank you. Okay, Dave Bratt, you've been in this before. This
00:20:12.080 is one of these special elections, Dave. As you know, turnout is everything. MAGA and the Warren Posse are
00:20:18.480 known for turnout. So tomorrow, and the weather's supposed to be a little inclement in Nashville.
00:20:23.380 Talk to people. How important it is. It's hard to get people out. The Warren Posse with the precinct
00:20:29.660 strategy and everything else we worked on are experts at doing that. We've proven it time and
00:20:34.860 time and time again. We need this seat. We need to hold this seat. Talk to me about the motivation of
00:20:40.900 getting people out today. You should be contacting Epps' website to find all the information. But
00:20:48.160 tomorrow, we need every War Room Posse member in Tennessee 7, even if you're outside Tennessee 7,
00:20:54.600 helping people get to the polls, particularly if people are elderly. If they didn't vote early,
00:20:59.640 like I said, the weather may not be great. But that's the strength of MAGA. We're mudders,
00:21:04.940 as they say in horse racing. Dave Bratt.
00:21:06.880 Yeah, that looks like a great race. And our side sometimes thinks when you reel off the list of
00:21:15.020 horribles from the far left, you know, Marxist radical candidate that will have a win. It's
00:21:21.940 the opposite of that. They are motivated on the left by that hatred of Trump, orange man, bad still to
00:21:30.180 this day. And we need to take it seriously. So the first thing I get, get your lists, right? All of
00:21:35.660 politics is pretty simple. If your list is bigger than theirs, you win. I hope all the senators in
00:21:42.460 Tennessee are listening. Republicans don't often play well together. The left does. We need to all
00:21:49.800 blast out every list we have in his district or family members around the state to help him out in
00:21:57.560 that race. And that can be a huge help. When you have a team effort, even that goodwill spills over,
00:22:03.840 even. It just makes the Republicans, if we can ever learn to fight together, it'll be a great day.
00:22:09.640 And then everybody needs to take action, right? You all have your personal lists.
00:22:14.140 When I won my first big race, I had nothing. I had no machine. I just sent out a half page
00:22:19.580 and said, will you please forward this to all your lists? And people did it. The Tea Party groups,
00:22:24.640 the Cub Scouts, the Boy Scouts, your bowling league, whatever you're in, the Republican women
00:22:29.380 groups. Huge power, huge energy in all of those communities. If everybody, all those groups do
00:22:36.940 their part, he'll have a good win.
00:22:39.680 No, and this is, it's going to come down to this because the left has studied our game. And they've
00:22:45.740 also remember Obama, which is also about ground game. The Working Family Party and the Democrat
00:22:50.940 Socialists all understand it's about canvassing. It's going door to door. TV commercials don't hack it
00:22:57.180 anymore. If you really want to make contact, it's got to be a personal contact. People have to know
00:23:01.040 what they're talking about. Now we're kind of all past that. Now we're down to actually game day.
00:23:06.260 The Tennessee early vote, I think, ended on Wednesday. I understand we're in okay shape,
00:23:11.920 but they're turning out their votes too. We really need a big turnout tomorrow, particularly the fact
00:23:16.900 that now they're running candidates and they're getting outside money to come in and trying to
00:23:22.120 influence these races that are getting more and more radical. In Nashville, you could have
00:23:27.140 someone represent the Nashville in, or at least a big part of Nashville in Congress that hates
00:23:35.560 country music and hates Nashville. And she's on tape saying that. It's unreal, but they're going to run
00:23:42.580 more radical candidates. Their philosophy, and you see this in Newsom's, and they're having more
00:23:48.720 radical policies, right? You've seen in Newsom. I mean, the people around Newsom, I think, are saying,
00:23:53.940 hey, we blew it because we should have gone 52-0. They shouldn't have left any Republican
00:23:59.360 districts in California. That's how radical the Democrats are getting in this Trump derangement
00:24:05.180 syndrome, Dave Brat. Yeah, I'll just throw in one other thing. A lot of our side, especially MAGA,
00:24:13.120 the war room, are very sophisticated in your understanding. So it's easy to get cynical,
00:24:18.120 right? A lot of people are saying, you know, I see all this monetary stuff going on. The elites,
00:24:23.400 the globalists are still having undue power. It's kabuki theater. None of this matters,
00:24:28.640 right? Even the blue versus the red, some of it's orchestrated. Well, there's one exception to that,
00:24:34.820 and that is the election you're facing right now. That is the one place where the people get to show up
00:24:41.520 and do your job, right? And so the problem is we got about a half of Republicans sitting at home on
00:24:47.960 the couch during these elections. A half of the church is sitting at home during the elections.
00:24:52.340 That's the problem, right? We get complacent. We get so ticked off at the corruption out there in
00:24:58.840 the system. This is the one opportunity, right? It's always got to be a revolution from beneath.
00:25:05.640 That's what made this country great. If you go back to our founding or Lincoln,
00:25:09.860 it was always a revolution from beneath, not by the elites. And so I encourage you,
00:25:15.780 do everything you can, get organized, don't get cynical, right? We need to keep this going and we
00:25:21.400 need to win all the elections, this midterms, all of the lists you put together today will not be in
00:25:27.140 vain. They will come in very handy in the years to come and keep them going and have your young kids
00:25:32.740 help you with it. They're great at this stuff. By the way, you've got this Friday also, if I can pull
00:25:38.840 that, there's going to be, Turning Point is now involved and engaged in this Indiana situation.
00:25:44.320 And in fact, Turning Point is going to be back on tomorrow to talk about this. They're going to host
00:25:48.000 a rally in Indianapolis, I think in the state capitol, at noon on Friday, I think it is. We'll
00:25:53.740 get it up. This is about President Trump and redistricting. If you look right now, a lot of the
00:26:00.560 Republican establishment is sitting there and trying to thwart President Trump's plan. There's no
00:26:05.640 filibuster, there's no rule coming on our side of the filibuster in the Senate. There's no recess
00:26:10.060 appointments. They're not going to go on recess. In fact, a couple of his appointments, even at the
00:26:14.920 committee level, I'm thinking of Bridge Colby's two deputies, I think were turned out, were basically
00:26:21.120 taken off the voting schedule at committee last week where we controlled the committees. So President
00:26:26.320 Trump, the $2,000 rebate off of the tariffs, so many things he's working on policy-wise is being
00:26:35.140 thwarted right now by the Republican establishment. That's why we've got to make a stand on that. Yes,
00:26:39.720 sir. Go ahead. Yeah, but you're missing one thing. Karl Rove wrote a very important piece. You must have
00:26:46.260 missed that. He said, our side MAGA, the grassroots just make a lot of noise and do theater. But for the
00:26:53.480 serious legislation, you got to go with the rhinos over the weekend, right? So according to Karl Rove,
00:26:59.600 and so, hey, Karl, if you're listening in, I hope you get to this clip. Please show me the list of
00:27:04.980 serious legislation coming out of the House and the Senate right now, right? Please show me that,
00:27:09.320 Karl. And so I just had to throw that one in there because they're still using the same talking points
00:27:14.920 to talk down Trump that were a bunch of show horses. When I was in the Freedom Caucus, we were the
00:27:21.140 show horses. Now, in retrospect, the war room was correct about every issue we've had for the past
00:27:26.140 10 years. And more, we have more to share, but people just can't believe some of it because it's
00:27:31.200 so bad. But we were right, they were wrong, and everybody knows where the force of history is
00:27:36.040 moving, our way. Well, you see the globalists with Rovin, these guys, every policy, and you see
00:27:41.160 this right now in the Ukraine negotiations. They're sitting there with Marco Rubio, and they're
00:27:45.620 talking about guaranteeing Ukrainian sovereignty and giving security gear. Ever since COVID,
00:27:51.620 the great pandemic, millions of Americans have started buying preparedness supplies,
00:27:56.600 especially emergency food. And that's a very good thing. But there's a big mistake most people make
00:28:03.640 with their emergency food supply. They don't have any way to cook it in a real emergency when the power
00:28:09.780 is out or the grid is down. That's why our friends at My Patron Supply created their Black Friday
00:28:15.760 survival special. It comes with a four-week food supply plus $150 worth of free gifts, including

00:30:06.200 rogue lawyer, rogue relative. Did you see any of those over Thanksgiving? Just saying. Don't let
00:30:12.180 anybody get near your title. HomeTitleLock.com, promo code Bannon. Talk to Natalie Dominguez and the team
00:30:19.060 today. Do I have David Zier over at the Pentagon? David Zier joins us from the Pentagon. So let me get
00:30:24.200 this right, Zier. Jack Posobiec, Steve Gruber, Brian Glenn, David Zier, basically the four horsemen
00:30:33.740 of the apocalypse of real America's voice. The best we got, right? The four blocks of granite
00:30:39.520 just happened to randomly be at the Pentagon this morning. Bro, tell me, please tell me what's going
00:30:45.540 on, sir. Well, we got noticed that since the mainstream media outlets wouldn't sign on to
00:30:53.440 the Pentagon's new guidelines, updating the physical control measures and access to the Pentagon,
00:30:58.600 that they were replacing them with up to 60 journalists and media here to cover the Pentagon
00:31:05.200 going forward. It's a great opportunity for RAF. We'll all be credentialed here. And there's a lot
00:31:10.820 going on. And over the next three days today, including there'll be a meet and greet this
00:31:15.340 afternoon. Tomorrow, there'll be a Northern and Southern command on classified off the record
00:31:20.120 briefing, and then a press briefing open to the press with Kinsley Wilson, the press secretary here
00:31:28.320 tomorrow. And then on Wednesday, we'll have a gaggle and some time with Pete Hegseth. And after that,
00:31:34.440 there'll be media row with 18 or so top Pentagon officials, including secretaries of the Navy and
00:31:42.040 the Army, Coast Guard, I believe. And so it'll be a busy day on Wednesday. There'll be from 2 to 4 p.m.
00:31:51.940 I believe that gaggle will take place. And, you know, there was a lot of media here that were on
00:32:00.040 escorted throughout the Pentagon for a long time here. And I think it's a way for the Department
00:32:06.760 of War to get control for, and they were, you know, around unclassified and classified rooms in
00:32:14.520 the Pentagon. Now it'll be escorts. I read the memo from September. I didn't see anything in there
00:32:20.000 that was so, you know, demanding or would abridge free speech in any way.
00:32:26.240 They want to protect. They want to run roughshod. Just like in the White House, I've always said,
00:32:32.280 get them out of, they're right next to the Oval Office. You've seen it. There's like a nest of
00:32:36.140 vipers right there below it. It should be over in EOB. It should be actually outside the West Wing,
00:32:42.480 just like they're trying to get control. What are you hearing? You know, there's conversation,
00:32:46.780 there's talk that President Trump actually talked to Maduro over the week, gave him an ultimatum,
00:32:51.240 which said, hey, you either leave with your entourage, or we're going to force you to leave.
00:32:55.800 I know a lot of MAGA, non-interventionists, they want President Trump to handle this
00:33:00.460 without sending in the fleet Marines or doing bombing runs. What are you hearing? Now that you've
00:33:08.060 signed the document, you're going to be a good boy. What are you actually hearing over there?
00:33:14.460 Well, nothing yet as of today. I'm just getting my feet wet over here. And I know that Tim Kaine
00:33:20.440 is reintroducing his resolution to not allow any forced abuse without congressional approval
00:33:26.260 down in Venezuela there. But it was interesting, you know, Sean Parnell has been very outspoken as
00:33:33.140 the chief Pentagon spokesperson saying that, you know, these guys are running around here basically
00:33:37.800 to power phrase him, even outside of these classified areas. And moving forward, they want these
00:33:44.040 escorts for them. But these are pragmatic changes to operational security here, Steve,
00:33:51.640 and to bring the Pentagon in line with other government buildings. So it's a new era here for
00:33:58.560 independent and some conservative media outlets here. I saw groups like Town Hall on there, James O'Keefe,
00:34:06.900 the Gateway Pundit, and others. But we're gathered here in one of the briefing rooms.
00:34:10.620 So we're just getting situated here. The next two days, I'll be bringing you more info.
00:34:17.260 Okay, David, thank you. Where do people go for your content, sir? Where do they go on Twitter?
00:34:25.400 I'm at Dave Zier on Twitter and David Zier on everything else. And thank you so much. And
00:34:31.640 we're very excited to be here this week. It's going to be a great opportunity for Rav.
00:34:36.340 We got, yes, it's fantastic. We have Poso setting up. Steve Gruber's there. I think actually our own
00:34:43.000 Brian Glenn might have headed back to the White House. We'll grab him as soon as we can get him.
00:34:47.240 Dave Bratt, you got Venezuela. You know, President Trump has given an ultimatum to Maduro. A lot of
00:34:55.100 people are saying, hey, can we give them ultimate? Can we give the same ultimatum to the governor of
00:34:59.480 Colorado to say, hey, you either cough up Tina Peters from prison, or we're going to send the 82nd
00:35:06.160 Airborne in to collect her? I mean, people, look, it's this trade-off between international affairs,
00:35:14.380 global affairs. I understand he's trying to stop the Third World War. But I didn't like what I was
00:35:18.620 hearing out of these negotiations, particularly Marco Rubio. Marco Rubio came out and said, and on
00:35:24.940 video said, hey, our number one thing to the Ukrainian people is to make sure that never
00:35:29.560 again do you have wars. Yo, bro, note to Marco Rubio, they've been fighting wars over there for
00:35:35.120 5,000 years, and it ain't going to stop. But we can't, this is my problem. We can't give these over
00:35:40.540 the top discussions and then say we're going to give a guarantee. We cannot guarantee the sovereignty
00:35:46.440 Ukraine. We cannot give a security guarantee for Ukraine. Those people have been fighting for 5,000
00:35:50.600 years. And particularly when Yermak, who ran the government, is now running and trying to find and
00:35:56.260 getting an exit, he's either going to go to the front and try to slip out that way or go into exile.
00:35:59.980 The number one guy that ran the government that you and Poso and Raheem Kassam and everybody would
00:36:05.620 hammer on for years how corrupt they finally at least kick down the doors of his house to say,
00:36:10.600 we know you stole at least 100 million. The guy stole tens of billions. That is the government.
00:36:15.980 That's the type of people you're going to be guaranteeing. I just think President Trump has got a
00:36:20.220 domestic agenda and an international. Obviously, the international and domestic are inextricably
00:36:25.200 linked. There's no question about that. And he was handed a mess. And he's trying to stop it and
00:36:31.440 pivot to hemispheric defense. But there are limits about what you can do. Biden and the globalists
00:36:36.820 have screwed this thing so much. Let their globalist partners in Europe figure it out. Those guys started
00:36:42.720 at President Trump, had nothing to do with it. President Trump, they would never happen on his watch.
00:36:47.720 It didn't happen on his watch. As soon as he was gone, they started rolling. He's left with this
00:36:53.320 mess. But to get ourselves even more entangled with the worst people on Earth, which are the
00:36:59.940 political class of Ukraine, which is just as corrupt as the wait for it political class of NATO,
00:37:05.700 to get involved in that and for Marco to come out and say, our priority is to make sure you're never
00:37:10.820 at war again. Dude, grab a history book and just read a couple of pages, man. They've been fighting for
00:37:16.460 5,000 years. It ain't called the bloodlands for nothing, right? So, Brett, what are you? And the
00:37:23.040 president's got such a big domestic agenda. And Karl Rove doesn't need to tell the president about
00:37:27.180 growth. The president knows that. That's why he set up the big, beautiful bill as a supply-side tax
00:37:32.180 cut. Look, we didn't love all the bill, right? But the supply-side part of it, bringing manufacturing
00:37:37.420 jobs back because you got one chance. On Trump's watch, we got one chance to return ourselves
00:37:42.540 to being a manufacturing superpower. Dave Bratt. Yeah, I think the last point you made is the
00:37:49.580 most important. This is the last chance to turn it back. There's so many things at work here,
00:37:55.740 right? The Democrats in all their elections speak about democracy and the value of democracy,
00:38:00.660 and Trump's not in favor of democracy. How in the world does Zelensky have leverage of this type when
00:38:10.100 he's not an elected leader right now? There's no democracy in Ukraine. And then we got over $300
00:38:16.800 billion going there. And MGT and everybody's been asking for an audit. We can't get an audit of our
00:38:24.680 own money, $300 billion spent of American funding for Ukraine and the war, and we don't know where the
00:38:31.340 money went. And now there's a corruption scandal to the extent that the number two guy has to step down,
00:38:37.220 and he's probably the number one guy running the country in Ukraine. And then there's several other
00:38:42.320 things going on at the same time, right? You got the globalists and our side always knows about the
00:38:46.480 Kabuki theater I was talking about earlier. When things make no sense, that means there's billionaires
00:38:51.360 way up there that are making deals. And then even our own team is going to have some complicating
00:38:57.880 factors, right? The rare earths over there, the minerals, the oil, the agricultural productivity,
00:39:04.300 you know, that's probably part of the negotiating. But how in the world Zelensky still has any voice
00:39:11.420 as the democratically elected, right? When we say, we've fought the whole war for them, right? I mean,
00:39:17.980 it's without the U.S., there'd be nothing. And so why don't we, why we don't get to make the final
00:39:22.580 play call here on Zelensky? And, you know, right now we're negotiating over, you know, Zelensky should
00:39:28.460 offer up some territory to the Russians as a goodwill gesture. And we're not sure if his pride
00:39:33.800 or ego will allow for that. Are you kidding me? The United States is asking questions to Zelensky?
00:39:40.780 That part makes absolute no sense unless other factors are involved, the economic piece.
00:39:46.620 We're probably trying to make a long run deal with Putin that makes sense. But the security
00:39:55.020 guarantees, that's what the whole war was about. And our globalist leaders, the head of our
00:40:02.000 institutions, you know, the thing they're forgetting about is part of this war is initiated upon the U.S.
00:40:09.780 request. We're the ones that were in on the coup in 2014 that removed Ukrainians' leader. We're the
00:40:16.180 ones that have moved the border eastward and 17 other countries. Hang on. This is why Flynn came on
00:40:21.920 Saturday. The same color, the Victoria Nuland and the same color revolution crowd in our government
00:40:27.640 that drove this thing in 2014 when basically when I was at Breitbart and Raheem Kassam broadcast live
00:40:34.280 from there on Breitbart radio every day when he saw the importance of it. Quite frankly, I kind of
00:40:39.920 missed it at the time, right? The color revolution being driven by these globalists inside the American
00:40:45.260 government are the exact same people today, Brennan being the head of it, that are running the color
00:40:50.540 revolution around President Trump. And this is why for President Trump's safety and security,
00:40:55.860 we shouldn't be carrying their water. Marco Rubio, no, we are not going to guarantee, what you said is
00:41:03.020 absolutely fundamentally wrong. We are not guaranteeing there are not going to be any wars forever for
00:41:08.620 the Ukrainian people. Full stop. Even, you said, well, maybe it was a slip of the tongue. How does it even
00:41:14.240 come out of your brain? It's not possible and we can't be involved in it. That's too big a commitment
00:41:20.260 for the United States. When President Trump sent ICE into New York, they had a riot on Saturday.
00:41:27.580 Finally, we sent ICE in and you saw the response. They're going to riot. They're going to try to
00:41:31.700 shut it down. We have 15 to 20 million illegal alien invaders in our country. Therefore, we do not have
00:41:38.980 our own sovereignty. That is going to be one of the nastiest pushes ever to take care of that and you see
00:41:45.560 this happening. That's a priority. Guarantee the sovereignty of the people of the United States,
00:41:50.760 Marco. Don't worry about Ukraine. And if that's what it takes to get a deal done, then guess what?
00:41:55.320 There ain't going to be a deal done. And the Russians, there you are right there. Thank you
00:41:58.200 very much, Denver. Look at that. It's a freaking riot. That's in the greatest city in the world,
00:42:03.000 New York City. This is what's happening. We don't have the ability to guarantee everybody's
00:42:08.480 sovereignty. Let's start with folks in the United States of America, our beloved country,
00:42:12.640 and American citizens. If this is the price that goes to Ukrainian peace, hello, they're not going
00:42:18.580 to have peace. They haven't had peace in 5,000 years. And as soon as they understand that the
00:42:23.460 Russians are going to take Odessa eventually with another 500,000 Ukrainian casualties, maybe their
00:42:29.300 European masters out of Brussels and London and Paris will start to get the word. But it's not the
00:42:34.620 American people's fault. Brett, hang on for a second. I think we had a very special announcement.

00:44:29.040 Okay, for Saturday we had scheduled and we shifted up because so much was going on and the
00:44:39.340 woman posse wanted to get an update so we had a live show. We had an interview with Sam Tannenhaus,
00:44:46.300 the legendary Sam Tannenhaus, about the revolution that Bill Buckley started and led, the conservative
00:44:52.620 revolution in this country. We're in the next hour we're going to start that interview. You're not
00:44:58.140 going to want to miss this. This is one of the great writers in the country about a great man, Bill
00:45:01.600 Buckley, understanding that the populist nationalist movement has a lot of issues with things like
00:45:07.040 national review. But Bill Buckley was a great man and did many great things including initiating a
00:45:13.140 revolution with Barry Goldwater and Ronald Reagan. And I think you'll find Tannenhaus, who by the way
00:45:20.960 also wrote a magnificent biography of Whitaker Chambers, one of the great, great individuals
00:45:26.520 about lived Christianity in the 20th century. Dave Brant, your thoughts about all that, sir?
00:45:34.260 Yeah, I just want to go back to Ukraine. The best way to give Ukraine security guarantees is to have a
00:45:42.120 detente with Russia. And, you know, this isn't the Cub Scouts talking. We're the same crew of real
00:45:48.720 politics that's been referring to Mearsheimer and power on power, real politics referenced by Kennedy
00:45:56.040 and the rise and fall of great powers and all this. So this is not some glib statement, but to have a
00:46:01.900 detente with Russia, a relaxing over the long run, then maybe friendships, then maybe two Christian
00:46:07.760 countries that are on the same side with Ukraine. And then the deep state goes bye-bye. And then we can
00:46:15.340 finally shift some resources toward China. Who does not know what human rights are?
00:46:22.660 I've got to tell you, a detente with the Russians to unite the Christian nations against the
00:46:28.520 murderous plague of atheistic Marxism, and that's what the Chinese Communist Party is.
00:46:34.120 Their biggest victims are Lao Baixing. I think there's 100 million Christians,
00:46:39.060 some traditional Catholics, most evangelical Christians that are in China today that are
00:46:45.660 the prosecuted church or the prosecuted church in the worst way. As we know, the church always
00:46:52.080 thrives under times of persecution, like it did at the beginning, foundation of our religion,
00:46:57.160 and then through the ages. So I agree with you, Dave. I think it's time. And I think it's time.
00:47:01.660 We've got to stop. We can't give security guarantees to everybody. We can't give all these
00:47:05.280 security guarantees in the Gulf. We can't give all these security guarantees for Israel and
00:47:11.420 sovereignty guarantees. We've got to get the sovereignty of the United States right. And this
00:47:15.720 is why I'm fully supporting Laura Loomer and the folks that are fighting for saying, hey, Israel should
00:47:20.340 just declare its own sovereignty, not take our cash, and go do their own thing, which I 100% support.
00:47:26.140 But I think in this Ukraine situation, the kind of hiding the football on what the reconstruction is
00:47:32.680 going to be and who's going to pay the money, because the United States does not have it. We do not have
00:47:36.740 it. That money's got to be here in the United States of America. And you saw on Saturday, you saw this
00:47:43.160 situation with sending ICE into New York City, which I think is a shot across Mondani's bow to say, hey, look,
00:47:48.720 you're an Ugandan Marxist jihadist who is, quite frankly, not quite a naturalized citizen since you lied on
00:47:55.260 your forums. Send a shot across his bow. We're not going to allow you to be a sanctuary city. You can't have
00:48:00.720 New York City as a sanctuary city. It's the greatest city in the world. The greatest city in the United
00:48:04.580 States has been really since our founding, since the founding of the Republic has always been even
00:48:09.300 more than Philadelphia and Boston, the central financial and commercial capital of the United
00:48:14.540 States. You can't allow it to be taken over by illegal aliens. And you saw what happened on
00:48:19.280 Saturday when they sent ICE in for a just kind of a mini raid. It was an outright riot. They were
00:48:25.340 trying to hurt the ICE officials. They were trying to block all of the folks.
00:48:30.560 They were rolling up. And, you know, and they say there's 8 million people in New York City.
00:48:35.440 There's millions of illegal alien invaders up there, and they all got to go home. Closing thoughts
00:48:41.280 day, Brett. Yeah, just a minute on what you just said right there is very powerful about the
00:48:47.340 persecution of Christianity. Everyone, you know, Alistair McIntyre wrote a great book,
00:48:53.240 Brief History of Ethics. It's not an ethics book, but he talks about the transition from Rome,
00:48:58.540 the brutality of Rome and the Caesars and the crucifixions, etc. And in comes a man named Jesus
00:49:05.520 Christ who preaches love and offers hope to the poor. That is shocking, and that is history-making
00:49:13.640 when you see that was the gestalt change, right, from Caesar to the message of Jesus. And that's
00:49:21.000 happening in China right now. The brutality, and in comes a man named Jesus preaching love of God,
00:49:28.540 some hope on this earth. And in this country, if you don't think there's Christian persecution going
00:49:34.600 on, you're not paying attention. When you can't bring a Bible to school or mention Christianity
00:49:39.320 in public and polite conversation with a wine and cheese crowd, and when the CEOs can't talk about
00:49:44.760 their faith and Christianity in public, that's a problem.
00:49:47.820 Dave Brett, where do people go on social media to get you? This is going to be an intense week.
00:49:54.920 There's things happening all over the globe, and particularly things happening in the United
00:49:58.100 States and things happening on Capitol Hill with artificial intelligence. It's going to be a
00:50:01.420 big artificial intelligence gathering this afternoon. I'm going to be at six with Joe Allen.
00:50:08.440 We're going to cover all of it because artificial intelligence is going to have a huge week this
00:50:11.760 week. Make sure, also, Matt Van Epps, running in Tennessee 7, needs your support. We got to go
00:50:18.920 all in on this thing. We need to hold that seat. Dave Brett, your social media brother.
00:50:24.020 Yeah, Brett, economics on getter. But more importantly, go help the candidate and help the
00:50:29.480 war room by spreading the war room into platforms. It's on to all your friends and neighbors as well.
00:50:34.160 Steve doesn't like doing the salesman thing, so I'm doing it for him. Spread the war room.
00:50:37.980 I like that, Brett. Brett, I like that, man. He's selling. He's good. He's very good. Dave
00:50:42.400 Brett, love you, brother. He's going to be riding shotgun as much as we can this week. Thank you so
00:50:46.580 much down there at Liberty. Great institution. So, very special. Sam Tannenhaus, hang on. You're
00:50:53.660 going to learn everything about the revolution, the conservative revolution in this country,
00:50:58.600 including Nixon, Goldwater, Reagan, all of it. Take a short commercial break. We're going to return.
00:51:04.760 Also, this afternoon, Natalie Winters, a blockbuster. Natalie Winters has a blockbuster
00:51:11.160 related to the Chinese Communist Party. Let's say that way. And Natalie Winters will be back
00:51:15.540 at 5 o'clock. At 6, we're going to do artificial intelligence. There's an event that's going to
00:51:21.600 happen at the Capitol today. Joe Allen's going to be there. Joe Allen's going to join us. We're
00:51:26.360 absolutely packed throughout the day. Make sure tomorrow at 11 o'clock, there's going to be a
00:51:31.780 cabinet meeting. President Trump is convening his cabinet. I'm sure he's going to have a couple
00:51:36.400 of three things to say and maybe even update on what's going on in what's going on in Venezuela.
00:51:42.740 Everybody as a carrier battle group, strike force, amphibious ready group, I think 14,000,
00:51:49.380 12,000 to 14,000 fleet marines and sailors on tenterhooks. Stick around. Short commercial break.
00:51:55.780 We're going to leave you with the right stuff. That's what Bill Buckley had. It's certainly what
00:51:59.960 Sam Tannenhaus has, one of the great writers in America today. Short commercial break. Back
00:52:04.720 in the worm in a moment.
