00:02:34.000So Rosemary Jenks, President Trump and this administration is trying to get this article, if we can get this up, about what they're trying to do to tighten the requirements.
00:02:44.000You know, they're trying to work with what they got, tighten these requirements, but they're fighting and they're being fought at in the courts.

00:02:53.000I think it's a Politico and in your observations on it, ma'am.
00:03:05.000It actually started in the original European Union with the Schengen Accords where the European Union countries agreed that there would be safe third countries.
00:03:14.000So any asylum seeker who passed through another safe country to get to that European country could not apply for asylum there.
00:03:23.000So we tried to implement some of this under the first Trump administration when the president got agreements with Honduras and El Salvador and Guatemala.
00:03:34.000It was a major disincentive to come to America because once you pay the journey to get to the to our southern border, the northern border of Mexico, you've spent a lot of money and probably been abused and raped and assaulted and so on by the cartels.
00:03:49.000You don't want to be turned back to Guatemala or El Salvador when you could have gone there in the first place.
00:03:55.000So we know safe third country agreements work.
00:03:58.000And the president this term has been finding other countries further away in most cases to sign agreements with.
00:04:06.000Our current law basically says we can't return anyone to a country where they might be persecuted.
00:04:13.000So that would be their home country, but we can return them to any other country we have an agreement with.
00:04:19.000So the president is trying to expand the number of countries we have agreements with, including to Eswatini and Palau and various others, Uganda.
00:04:28.000And there is nothing in our law or international law that says we can't remove asylum seekers to those countries.
00:04:36.000Now, of course, the activist judges in this country are going to rule against the president.
00:04:41.000It would be a lot cleaner if Congress, again, which needs to step up, would reintroduce HR to the Secure the Border Act that was passed by the House in the last Congress that had provisions establishing legal safe third country.
00:04:59.000It would be a law basically that says anyone who enters the United States from passes through a safe country, including Mexico or Canada, cannot apply for asylum here.
00:05:10.000That would simplify everything and get essentially get the judges out of it more rapidly.
00:05:17.000But so a lot of this will depend on how fast the Trump administration can move these cases through the courts.
00:05:24.000That tends to be a very slow process, but we need the Supreme Court to step in at the appropriate time and say that, yes, indeed, the law allows this and the president has the authority to do this.
00:05:37.000But again, we've got to get this enacted into law to make it permanent.
00:05:41.000One of the things of your new group is to actually put the spotlight on what people actually do and not just what they say.
00:05:48.000Every Republican in a primary and then the general, all of them run as hardcore, you know, seal the border, protect American citizens, protect working class people, protect the middle class.
00:06:04.000And one of the reasons President Trump has has this issue is that you've got a Congress that basically comes down on the side of Chamber of Commerce.
00:06:10.000They may talk they may talk MAGA when it comes to immigration and illegal immigration, the evasion of our country, but they act like they're an adjunct of the Chamber of Commerce.
00:06:20.000Is that essentially one of our big issues here?
00:06:39.000They don't want to say that out loud because they know it's not popular, but they like their cheap labor.
00:06:44.000So it's time to set them aside and for Congress to actually look at what is in America's interests.

00:09:58.000But first off, I want people to understand because as we continue to hammer on this show year after year after year is that we have no strategic interest in the Ukraine at all.
00:10:10.000It's not in the vital national security interest of this country.
00:10:13.000It is to these European deadbeats that have not kept a military after World War Two or even not even World War Two because they all sided with the Nazis.
00:10:22.000Yes, yes, yes, yes, Scandinavia, Ireland, Spain, the French Fiji government, the low countries.
00:10:29.000Right. They had some resistance. Right.
00:10:31.000Right. And they and they fought for a while.
00:10:33.000But all the NATO guys, except for the United Kingdom and the Poles, though, the Poles in there stood with us as the Red Army, as the as the as the Russian people took the brunt of the Wehrmacht.

00:11:58.960This is a rehearsal to use the words of the commander of the Indo-Pacific Command, Admiral Paparo.
00:12:04.420The Chinese Communist Party is unleashing the People's Liberation Army on its third December in a row.
00:12:12.660A major exercise around Taiwan. Today, over 130 aircraft were in the air.
00:12:18.560Ninety of them crossed the median line. We have Chinese Coast Guard involved.
00:12:23.840We have the Chinese Navy involved with dozens of ships.
00:12:26.980We have Chinese. And this is the most important part because the Chinese media is telling you it's just a blockade training.
00:12:33.020But what we see is precision strike training with closure areas off the coast of and around Taiwan,
00:12:40.040the closest ever since they started doing these firings and testing around 2022 after the Pelosi visit.
00:12:46.760So now we have closure areas that are within 12 nautical miles, the territorial seas of Taiwan.
00:12:52.500And they've added in an amphibious warship.
00:12:55.800They're type 075 amphibious assault helicopter carrier.
00:13:29.500And then their rhetoric has been very clear.
00:13:32.600In one part, they're saying it's a blockade.
00:13:34.500And in the other part, they said, we're focusing on external actors, which is a euphemism for America and Japan.
00:13:41.860And they're saying, we're going to go after those folks.
00:13:44.920We're going to focus on precision strikes, far sea operations, bombers are at sea, long range drones are at sea.
00:13:52.680So they are not just focused on attacking Taiwan or blockading Taiwan.
00:13:58.340They're focused on attacking the United States Navy, the United States Air Force, and our counterparts from Japan, who they think are going to be involved with this.
00:14:10.360And in this case, it's not just speculation.
00:14:12.700It's not just, you know, hyperventilation from people that are, quote unquote, super hawks or whatever.
00:14:18.600This is statements from the Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs, where they said this exercise, this Operation Justice Mission 2025, is focused on external actors.
00:14:30.540And that's the first time we've actually had something that blunt stated by the Chinese government about the United States and Japan in the region.

00:18:28.460And they're slugging it out today, there's reports Poland, the prime minister, saying that America has agreed to American troops in the security guarantee, American troops on the line of contact with the Russians as part of the security guarantee.
00:18:43.800Now, I know that that guy's a very anti-Trump guy.
00:18:47.460But whether you look at Ukraine, whether you look at the Middle East, whether you even look at Venezuela and our hemispheric defense, although hemispheric defense is absolutely paramount.
00:18:57.100Right now, with the advanced chip design, production, all of it in Taiwan, and Taiwan is unfortunately only 90 miles off the coast of mainland China, we don't really have a choice.
00:19:12.260You'll have a Great Depression if the Chinese Communist Party takes it over, and they are bound and determined to take it over.
00:19:18.700In fact, if Xi was not to show the muscle, to at least militarily continue to do these rehearsals, not exercises, rehearsals, the military itself might overthrow Xi.
00:19:29.160Although he's in a very powerful position, and all the chatter about him getting weakening, I don't believe.
00:19:34.860But he does have a military that's very focused on this.
00:19:38.100That being said, where do you put it in the strategic?
00:19:40.740Because they're going to say, look, Fennell, I hear you abandoned.
00:19:43.520You're always banging this drum, but, man, we've got so many problems here at home, and you've got Venezuela shipping bad hombres up here and drugs up here.
00:19:50.780You've got our European allies in NATO.
00:20:05.060Taiwan is a half a world away, and it's only 90 miles off the coast.
00:20:09.820So if President Trump's not worried about it, why should we be setting our hair on fire, sir?
00:20:17.520Well, first of all, I think President Trump is not going to say he's worried about it.
00:20:21.240That's not the way he rolls, and he's purposefully keeping a low profile on open confrontations with Xi.
00:20:28.320If he wasn't concerned about these things, then he wouldn't have announced on his last formal press conference of the year on 22 December the unveiling of the Trump-class battleship and the announcement, basically, of the Golden Fleet.
00:20:42.840So he clearly understands that there's an issue here, and the United States Department of War needs to be recalibrated to focus on what's the most important thing, which I call the main thing, which is the People's Republic of China, led by the Communist Party of China, which seeks to take global control of the planet.
00:21:01.540And they've initiated or let out four initiatives, the Global Governance Initiative, Global Security Initiative, Global Development Initiative, and Global Civilization Initiative in the last 10 years.
00:21:13.920And they've built a Belt and Road and backed it with the bank, and they are pushing to control the globe and the world order.
00:21:20.640And they do not like the United States, and they've said it's in their vision that the United States will be defeated and that they will take over.
00:21:30.600And now their first they have to achieve is to get Taiwan because that's part of the rhetoric that they've told their people about for the last 80 years, that the PRC owns Taiwan and they have to take it.
00:21:44.700They want it for the reasons you just stated in terms of chips, but they also want it because it gives them access to deep water ports into the Pacific, and it allows their Navy to break out and their military to break out without risk of being attacked into the Pacific.
00:22:00.000And it essentially opens the door to the Pacific and changes the fundamental nature of the global maritime domain.
00:22:07.240And so that's the real issue, and that's why President Trump announced the Golden Fleet, because he recognizes that we've gutted the U.S. Navy in the last 40 years.
00:22:16.020It went from 600 ships to under 300 today, while the Chinese Navy built itself up to be the largest Navy on the planet with the most anti-ship cruise missiles, anti-carrier ballistic missiles, and hypersonics today.
00:22:30.460So we need to have the capacity to defend our nation, a hemispheric defense with a large Navy, and we don't have that.
00:22:38.500And China is demonstrating that they are intending to rule the seven seas, and we can't allow that if we want to continue to have an America that we know and love today.
00:22:48.240And oh, by the way, most Americans, as you point out on your show routinely, are sick and tired of the wars in the Middle East, and we're not trying to be invaders.
00:22:56.720We don't want to invade China. There's nobody that's planning to invade mainland China. That's not the goal.
00:23:04.300The goal is to prevent China from dominating and running roughshod over our Navy, free trade in the region, our allies, and then doing what they're going to do or planning to do to Taiwan,
00:23:18.560which is to, you know, assassinate and decapitate the leadership of Taiwan and install their own puppet government and make it another province of China, which their rhetoric says they believe it is, which it isn't.
00:23:30.440So this is the challenge for us, and thankfully, President Trump announced this golden fleet and his battleship, which is to say he really recognizes the threat, regardless of what he says in a press conference, like, I'm not worried about the exercise.
00:23:43.760Yeah, I'd expect him to say that. Yeah. Now, President Trump, he always quotes victory at sea.
00:23:50.320He's very he's Mahanian in this regard. He understands the power and the necessity of a powerful Navy.
