The mayor of Minneapolis and governor of St. Paul, Amy Poehler, join host Greta Thunberg to discuss their latest interview with President Donald Trump and his response to the deaths of two ICE agents in a helicopter crash in the city.

00:03:04.160Tonight, the Trump administration is pulling Border Patrol official Greg Bovino and some number of Border Patrol agents out of Minneapolis.
00:03:13.460We do not know if this is the end of what they've been calling Operation Metro Surge, this sustained, very large scale paramilitary attack on the cities of Minneapolis and St. Paul.
00:03:27.000We don't know if it is the end of that operation full stop, but we know it's the end of something.

00:03:38.060Quote, according to two officials briefed on the matter, Gregory Bovino is expected to be removed from commanding the operation in Minnesota, possibly as early as tomorrow, meaning Tuesday.

00:03:54.940The mayor of Minneapolis says he spoke to Donald Trump and that the president believes the situation in Minnesota cannot continue.

00:04:24.460The mayor said he plans to meet with border czar Tom Holman tomorrow to further discuss next steps.

00:06:55.440Greg Bovino has been removed from his role as Border Patrol commander at large and will return to his former job in El Centro, California, where he is expected to retire soon, according to a Homeland Security official and two people with knowledge of the change.
00:07:13.020Bovino's sudden demotion is the clearest sign yet that the Trump administration is reconsidering its most aggressive tactics after the killing Saturday of 37-year-old Alex Preddy by Border Patrol agents under Bovino's command.
00:07:27.860Nick Miroff reports, quote, Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem and her close advisor, Corey Lewandowski, who were Bovino's biggest backers at Homeland Security, are now also at risk of losing their jobs.

00:09:22.060It was Donald Trump who ordered his Justice Department to initiate in criminal investigations of the mayor of Minneapolis and the governor of Minnesota for the crime of incitement when they're giving press conferences saying,

00:09:45.520I would also point out that it's not an issue of immigration enforcement that has caused so many of the good people of Minneapolis to rise up against Donald Trump and what's happening in their city.

00:10:03.140And I just haunted, as I'm sure you are, Steph, by the horrible video of Alex Preddy's last moments.
00:10:09.820Remember that he was going to the defense of a woman who was having the crap beat out of her by one of these goons.
