Bannon's War Room - Episode 5338： We Must Continue Mass Deportations Heading Into The Midterms

00:00:00.000 This is the primal scream of a dying regime.

00:00:07.000 Pray for our enemies.

00:00:09.000 Because we're going medieval on these people.

00:00:12.000 I got a free shot at all these networks lying about the people.

00:00:17.000 The people have had a belly full of it.

00:00:19.000 I know you don't like hearing that.

00:00:20.000 I know you've tried to do everything in the world to stop that,

00:00:22.000 but you're not going to stop it.

00:00:23.000 It's going to happen.

00:00:24.000 And where do people like that go to share the big lie?

00:00:27.000 MAGA Media.

00:00:29.000 I wish in my soul, I wish that any of these people had a conscience.

00:00:34.640 Ask yourself, what is my task and what is my purpose?

00:00:38.400 If that answer is to save my country, this country will be saved.

00:00:44.760 War Room. Here's your host, Stephen K. Bannon.

00:00:48.000 Thursday, 30 April, year of early 2026.

00:00:54.660 Mike Howe is going to join us in a minute for the mass deportation coalition.

00:00:59.620 If we're going to win, we need to get some policies rolling here.

00:01:03.140 Howe and these guys, Rosemary Jenks, others are fighting hard.

00:01:08.460 You've got the new H-1B bill of Eli Crane.

00:01:11.860 You've got what Mike Howe is doing on mass deportations.

00:01:14.980 I think the king put his head outside on the portico to kind of wave.

00:01:18.920 I think that's it.

00:01:20.280 No need.

00:01:20.940 Look, already had a great, you know, pass and review on the South Lawn.

00:01:26.620 You had a terrific, the king gave a speech for the joint session

00:01:32.600 that I think had a lot of power to it.

00:01:35.240 He took a couple of shots.

00:01:36.100 That's okay.

00:01:36.760 He's a king.

00:01:38.120 Of course, you had the no kings guys slobbering all over him. 0.99

00:01:41.960 That shows you they're not just hypocrites. 0.98

00:01:43.680 They don't really understand what they stand for. 1.00

00:01:45.700 It's just a clown show over there, the Democrats. 0.98

00:01:48.580 And then the dinner, did a great job of the dinner. 0.98

00:01:50.620 So it's nice.

00:01:51.240 No need to make a big deal.

00:01:52.760 You know, you've been here, check out, move on back to England 1.00

00:01:58.160 with all the problems you got there, including a Muslim takeover, 1.00

00:02:01.740 just to toss that out there.

00:02:05.160 Caroline Rand, maximalist strategy. 0.99

00:02:07.120 Once again, this is going to be between the hardcore MAGA base

00:02:11.680 and the feckless controlled opposition participants in the color revolution republicans all the donor

00:02:19.980 class and the business community they live with this first off this should have been done decades

00:02:25.720 ago there's nothing in that opinion caroline wren of alito that is is new news we have lived nancy

00:02:35.500 pelosi should have never had nancy pelosi should have never been the speaker we've lived with this

00:02:40.660 long enough it is outrageous that these southern states and i say this as a southerner we're not

00:02:46.580 prepared or not like the minute it happens step to the mic and go boom special session if we've

00:02:52.440 got an election next week or primary next week i'm canceling until august we'll do what the midwest

00:02:57.420 and the far west does a lot of those states out there have always had you know august primaries

00:03:03.280 leading to then have a final run-up to the november election it's fine i'm not crazy about

00:03:08.120 that, but it works. It'll particularly work here. The South has lived with this for too long. Read

00:03:14.320 Alito's opinion. The South has sat there and taken this, and look at New England. Look at the Yankees

00:03:22.120 up 24 to nothing in New England, with I think 44 or 45 percent of New England being Republican.

00:03:30.420 New York State's almost as bad. These guys play smash mouth. I think they're in 48 to 4,

00:03:37.680 something like that if you take new england and combine it with new york it's outrageous it's

00:03:41.460 like a california why are we sitting here rent rent i want to go and i want to put people on

00:03:46.920 notice and governor landry love you brother it's six oh don't give me the five one maximus we want

00:03:52.400 every freaking congressional district and we want them all and we want them all now i'm tired of 0.88

00:03:58.800 this whining on msnbc they got the big crocodile here screw you this thing should have never been 0.98

00:04:04.400 allowed to go on this long. And the South should never have been oppressed like it's been oppressed

00:04:09.380 because of the VRA. And it's time now to fight back. And anybody not prepared to fight back,

00:04:14.920 you're showing just another gutless, feckless, controlled opposition Republican Party. And the

00:04:20.680 South should be better than that. The leaders in the South should be better than that. So let's go

00:04:25.060 through these states. And, you know, I'm not I was not a big fan of Ron DeSantis. There's no

00:04:29.360 There's no program that dogged him more when he had the audacity and stupid political instincts to run against President Trump. 0.99

00:04:36.000 That being said, Governor DeSantis stepped into the breach in a couple of tough problems. 0.99

00:04:41.560 Boom, he didn't need the Supreme Court.

00:04:43.980 He said, hey, I'm calling you back in a special session.

00:04:47.180 We're going to pick up four. 0.99

00:04:49.080 You're going to suck on that, Democrats. 0.99

00:04:50.800 And that map in Florida is glorious. 1.00

00:04:54.580 It's glorious red.

00:04:55.860 And we owe Ron DeSantis that. He got it passed before the Supreme Court, before the ink dried on Alito's proclamation. Caroline Wren.

00:05:06.940 Look, the Democrats, the only reason why they hold any power is due to decades of a unconstitutional rigging of congressional districts based off of two things. 0.73

00:05:17.060 VRA holding the South hostage on their maps. And the second is counting illegal aliens in the census.

00:05:23.160 So if we, you know, VRA got handled yesterday, but if Donald Trump and his team could get on top of eliminating illegal immigrants being counted in the census, you would have a collapse of congressional districts in California, New York, Illinois, these different states.

00:05:39.080 So that is the larger picture here.

00:05:41.420 Now, honing in on the picture as to what can happen between now and November, Speaker Johnson just came out and said any state that is affected by VRA and now has an unconstitutional map can and must redistrict before the primaries.

00:05:56.400 And I agree with him 100 percent. And there are a couple of states that I'm not sure how they would do that, seeing as the primary has already passed.

00:06:04.220 That's Mississippi and North Carolina. However, the Mississippi governor came out and said, yeah, I'm calling a special session.

00:06:10.660 I believe the special suggestion is the first week of May, and so we'll see how they deal with that.

00:06:16.020 But again, just because your primary is passed, I mean, you're still proceeding with an unconstitutional map based on the Supreme Court's ruling.

00:06:23.400 And so in North Carolina, it's the same.

00:06:25.180 I have less confidence in that just because they have a Democrat governor.

00:06:29.920 But however, there should be lawsuits being filed immediately, so I'm hoping we see that happen.

00:06:34.800 I also don't know how this affects Virginia.

00:06:37.140 The Virginia map is clearly now unconstitutional.

00:06:40.040 They already there's an active lawsuit going on. That one is not based off of ERA, but the process as to which that map in the referendum happened.

00:06:48.280 And so putting those three states aside, we are now looking at you've got Louisiana and Florida.

00:06:53.880 Florida passed their map. So now we have Louisiana. And again, I don't understand why they would do a 5-1 map.

00:07:00.800 It is a 6-0 map in Louisiana. I just put one out on my X speed of like, here's an example of what a 6-0 map looks like.

00:07:07.540 congressional districts two and six in Louisiana are absolutely absurd and should not exist you

00:07:12.880 move right down to Alabama they have a prime they need to deal with this immediately their

00:07:16.800 primary is May 19th the Alabama attorney general came out yesterday and said we need to deal with

00:07:22.420 this immediately we need to call a special session and fix this in our map it's now unconstitutional

00:07:27.280 and an hour later the governor of Alabama comes out and says we are not calling a special session

00:07:32.340 we can't because there's active court cases. I'm like, well, your attorney general just came out

00:07:37.640 and said the opposite of what you just said. And if this is the premise of you can't because of

00:07:42.400 active legal cases, I would defer to the attorney general. And I could go on and on about the

00:07:46.800 governor of Alabama, who I think has the same cognitive function as Biden. So I'm going to go

00:07:52.840 ahead and say that we should revisit this Alabama announcement by KID. Moving down to Georgia,

00:07:58.300 Georgia is, they're actively voting right now.

00:08:01.180 And so we'll see what Brian Kemp does with this.

00:08:04.320 You've had every candidate who's running for governor come out and say,

00:08:07.100 we need to call for redistricting.

00:08:09.120 And I think Brian Kemp, declare an emergency.

00:08:11.780 Stop the voting, push the primary back, and redistrict.

00:08:15.280 That's what you should do, because they're currently voting

00:08:17.240 on an unconstitutional congressional district in your state.

00:08:21.660 Moving on to South Carolina, I'm deeply disappointed so far.

00:08:24.400 I'm like, where are you, Governor McMaster?

00:08:26.860 You know, I love, I'm all in for Pamela Ebbett, the lieutenant governor.

00:08:30.960 She should be out there screaming about this right now.

00:08:33.340 Alan Wilson, you're running for governor.

00:08:34.800 You're the attorney general.

00:08:35.800 Are you in court right now?

00:08:36.900 I saw him announce this morning something about, like, a waste management program.

00:08:40.400 I'm like, what are you people?

00:08:41.560 Are you this tone deaf?

00:08:42.840 Like, this is all that matters right now.

00:08:44.860 It is the difference between a majority in the House or not.

00:08:49.380 It's 13 seats that we could get before November.

00:08:51.920 So wake up and recognize the moment.

00:08:54.280 Missouri, their primary is not until August 4th.

00:08:56.300 you plenty of time to get this done. We have a Republican governor there, and we can pick up

00:09:00.240 one, potentially two more seats in Missouri. And then Tennessee, you had Marsha Blackburn is 1.00

00:09:06.320 running for governor. Yesterday, she put out a statement that said, we should redistrict our, 0.99

00:09:11.520 you know, this current map is unconstitutional. This is a great ruling. And when I am governor,

00:09:15.600 we will get it done. And I came out and said, when you're governor, no, that is too late. We

00:09:20.800 need to do it right now. And so she came out with a second statement that is calling for her

00:09:25.020 governor. I don't understand this. The Democrats who try to shred the Constitution all the time

00:09:32.520 always wave it in our face, particularly in this VRA situation. Now it's been deemed

00:09:39.220 unconstitutional. It's been unconstitutional since the get go. We finally got the Democrats

00:09:44.200 will be all over this. Why are these feckless, hapless Republicans not prepared and not prepared

00:09:49.140 to fight, ma'am? I don't know. We've been talking about this for like I've been yelling about this

00:09:54.440 for for years they just aren't they they want to look at indiana what a missed opportunity that was

00:10:00.020 like because these republicans you know they claim oh democracy or um i don't know what they

00:10:07.680 i can't even think of what the excuse could be because i can't put my like head into their their

00:10:12.580 headspace in south carolina i was calling around i'm calling every governor attorney general state

00:10:17.480 senator and state house member i have on my phone in any of these states that we are discussing

00:10:21.000 And one of the pushbacks I got was, oh, well, the South Carolina legislature doesn't want to do a special session because a lot of them have vacations coming up this summer and their kids are out of school.

00:10:31.620 And I just I have no patience for those type of answers.

00:10:35.820 Like, you must be kidding me.

00:10:38.100 And so, you know, it's different state by state as to why.

00:10:41.700 But all I know is we have got to put pressure on these folks.

00:10:45.200 We need to get the war room posse calling over to them.

00:10:47.840 The White House, I think, is all over this.

00:10:49.980 But also, you know, the White House, they have a lot going on right now.

00:10:53.200 Like we need to step up and be helpful to them and also be voices and say, like, especially if you live in any of these states, like you're living in a state where your representation is not is not abiding by the Constitution.

00:11:06.320 So you should be very loud and vocal about this.

00:11:11.800 Caroline, where do people go on your social media?

00:11:13.900 You're putting stuff up on this nonstop.

00:11:15.860 You're like the you like the town crier.

00:11:17.540 So where do people go to stay current with this?

00:11:19.180 We're going to get more organized, have people's phone numbers up and go to Bill Blaster, et cetera.

00:11:24.680 But where do people go right now to follow you to get all the current data on this?

00:11:29.220 It is at Caroline Wren on X and True Social and Getter.

00:11:35.700 Caroline Wren on fire again.

00:11:37.800 Thank you, man.

00:11:38.260 But that trip to Tallahassee kind of worked out.

00:11:40.600 You went down there and spread your magic, your specter of darkness down there.

00:11:45.380 And we got great results.

00:11:47.860 It was great.

00:11:48.460 Thank you so much, man.

00:11:49.180 it was great appreciate you

00:11:51.280 didn't get the ai but i'll get to that later um

00:11:57.000 incredible is pete uh as has pete started i did we'll get to pete in a while i'll go to mike

00:12:04.860 how mike we we've got all the stuff on redistricting how we have to fight here etc

00:12:09.740 but they had a huge article about you the other day and what you're leading people need a reason

00:12:14.600 to fight. And as you know, the MAGA base and the grassroots base, nothing is more top of mind to

00:12:21.560 them than mass deportations. They hate the happy talk that, you know, we're just going to get rid

00:12:26.100 of the worst of the worst. They want to get their country back and the sovereignty of their country

00:12:30.140 back. What's going on in the last couple of days? You're getting a lot of the left wing media is all

00:12:34.680 focused on you guys understanding that you're driving this conversation, sir. Yeah, the left

00:12:41.700 in this country understands that illegal immigration is the glue that holds their

00:12:45.800 coalition together. They're a legitimate coalition, unconstitutional coalition. 0.99

00:12:51.340 And on the other hand, the mass deportation coalition understands that mass deportation

00:12:55.840 is what holds our coalition together. It is the biggest animating force going into the midterms

00:13:01.580 if we can get the program rolling. That's why they're fighting us tooth and nail and not just

00:13:06.440 through people with the D next to their name, but the Republicans that have been bought off by

00:13:11.160 special interests in industry, even in, you know, plus 30 Republican districts like in Indiana with

00:13:17.280 Rep. Baird, they just want to keep the cheap illegal labor here. And so we're going to keep

00:13:22.240 this coalition together, this beautiful coalition that sent Trump to the White House. But it needs

00:13:26.720 to see commas in the deportation numbers in the millions. And so that's what we're advocating for

00:13:32.160 every single day. Talk to me about yesterday, this the Supreme Court had this hearing on the

00:13:38.680 fate of 1.3 these are all the special all the special cases right um they actually had the

00:13:45.800 hearing i think i what the audio heard was fantastic how important is that to start to set

00:13:51.880 out to sort out uh this deportation issue it's huge i mean temporary protected status is guess

00:13:59.460 what temporary and the president who has the authority to issue it in some cases also inherently

00:14:05.120 has to have the authority to end it and so that's what the supreme court is grappling with but the

00:14:10.220 arguments are you know defending it are borderline absurd ignoring those key issues you see a lot of

00:14:15.640 the supreme court justices wanting to get into basic race realism theory and basically say uh

00:14:20.760 you know by any means to keep people illegally here we will do and if you don't agree with us

00:14:25.720 you must be inherently racist it's obviously an argument of last resort but it's because

00:14:30.920 the democrat justices and i say that with great you know particularity on the supreme court know

00:14:36.600 that this is the source of their power just like these unconstitutional racist gerrymandered

00:14:42.660 districts it is a a democrat party that is fighting tooth and nail to keep as many people

00:14:47.820 in this country and all the artificial constructs but mike hang on for one second we're gonna hold

00:14:53.300 how through the break. Everyone's focused on how the conflict in the Middle East is raising oil

00:15:03.300 prices, but there's another grim reality to this contention. Oil isn't the only resource being

00:15:10.100 constrained. About one third of global fertilizer trade happens through this region. And with spring

00:15:16.300 planting season on top of us, American farmers are sounding the alarm with some saying they can't

00:15:21.660 afford to plant their fields. When one piece of the supply chain gets hit this hard, you know what

00:15:27.240 comes next. Higher fruit prices, reduced availability, maybe even panic buying. That's

00:15:33.120 why having an emergency food supply at home makes so much sense. And that's where our friends at

00:15:39.760 MyPatriotSupply come in right now at preparewithbannon.com. That is preparewithbannon.com.

00:15:46.880 We've set up an entire just site for the war room posse.

00:17:28.000 So allfamilypharmacy.com, promo code BANN30.

00:17:32.580 We've got two things with how.

00:17:34.180 Number one, there was a big article in the Washington Post about the new direction of DHS,

00:17:38.980 plus a new report out, a watchdog report from Hal's group

00:17:43.520 that already has people's heads on fire.

00:17:47.580 I'm going to get to both of those.

00:17:49.100 But, Mike, go back.

00:17:50.480 Because it's the central operating,

00:17:53.820 it's the organizing principle of the radical Democratic Party. 1.00

00:17:57.780 It's about illegal aliens, foreigners who are not supposed to be here, 0.80

00:18:03.560 a gun-deck, quote-unquote, legal immigration plan, all of it. 0.97

00:18:07.780 and it's all got to stop or we're not going to have this constitutional republic.

00:18:11.920 The Supreme Court yesterday just told you this whole VRA was gun-decked,

00:18:17.720 and the South has been oppressed by this for decade after decade after decade,

00:18:21.600 and Republicans are not on the ramparts to take advantage of it immediately.

00:18:25.260 This is the reason the folks like the Mike Howells of the world are ascending in our movement,

00:18:29.760 because they are action-oriented.

00:18:31.540 So once again, tell me the organizing principle of the Democratic left, sir. 0.75

00:18:35.800 It's to get as many illegal aliens in here as possible and to artificially inflate their democratic power through fake districts, fake populations, fake voting systems so they can, you know, then go forth with their evil Marxist plan. 0.94

00:18:51.400 And this is why we got to confront it at every step of the way. 0.94

00:18:54.420 Now, this article the other day, President Trump, this was the central, as you said, what knits not just border security, but the deportations is what knits together and connects every part of the MAGA movement.

00:19:09.460 DHS has got a very different take on things right now, sir.

00:19:12.320 Your thoughts?

00:19:14.500 Yeah, it's no secret post-Minneapolis, there was some buckling, both in the rhetoric and the policies and the operations.

00:19:21.300 That's why the mass deportation coalition formed, said, no, now's not the time to pump the brakes just because some rioters got out there and got an ISIS face.

00:19:28.920 It's actually time to go faster.

00:19:30.860 The deportations haven't been high enough.

00:19:32.620 They need to be much higher to get to mass deportation levels.

00:19:35.980 And so, you know, with the change in leadership and new Secretary Mullen coming in, everyone's giving him a little grace period.

00:19:41.800 But in this grace period, a lot has been said and a lot has been done that I think weighs counter to the cause of mass deportation.

00:19:49.800 And things like giving away the store on judicial warrants or, you know, some of the statements about going about things quieter or even agreeing with Democrat senators for cooperation if an ICE facility is going to be built in their state.

00:20:03.100 And so you have those things happening on one hand.

00:20:05.460 The numbers are still low, way too low, about a couple hundred thousand last year.

00:20:10.360 There needs to be at least a million this year.

00:20:12.560 And that's super easy to get done.

00:20:14.240 We've laid it out.

00:20:15.200 But not a lot has been done to re-embrace what we all fell in love with to send Trump back to the White House, the cause of mass deportation, which remains popular.

00:20:25.540 And so this was had out in the rag of the Washington Post a couple of days ago where they pointed to some of these issues.

00:20:32.260 And a lot of people who want to see mass deportations were, you know, charting a path towards getting back on track.

00:20:37.840 And that's a path that I hope Secretary Mullen decides to take instead of trying to take one that will somehow fail to convince some liberals that things are quieter and OK.

00:20:47.720 Now we're just going to do what the Democrats have done previously by not deporting people at scale.

00:20:52.960 so mike make this make sense to me we don't need they pass fisa that you don't need a warrant

00:20:59.560 to to go to fisa court but you you you uh need a judicial warrant you need a judicial warrant

00:21:08.640 to basically go and get any of these illegal aliens out of the country sir how does that make sense

00:21:14.300 well of course it doesn't i mean that's not how it's worked in practice that's why it's become a

00:21:19.140 negotiable item, right? It's a concession that has been provided by DHS to the, you know,

00:21:25.740 anti-American forces that want to keep illegals here. And that's not right. It shouldn't have

00:21:31.620 been made that way. What its overall scope on the impact remains to be seen. But I'll tell you this,

00:21:37.080 like the one thing that people should look at if you want the numbers to go up is whether or not

00:21:41.760 DHS and ICE will focus at work sites. That is where illegals are geographically concentrated

00:21:48.000 at any given time it's common sense it's how eisenhower got the numbers through the roof in

00:21:53.300 1954 and it's why trump said he's going to beat eisenhower but he can't beat eisenhower if he

00:21:58.160 doesn't go to the work sites the hospitality the agriculture the leisure you name it all those

00:22:03.900 places with deep-pocketed lobbyists who have friends in the white house and throughout the

00:22:07.780 administration and campaign consultants who are telling republicans if you do this we will pull

00:22:12.560 your funding and we don't care that the voters want it but the money doesn't want it to happen

00:22:17.400 And that's what's at play right now. That's why the mass deportation coalition is ascendant.

00:22:22.040 It is the counterweight to those corrupt lobbying forces who would rather see a cheap buck than a country that can sustain itself.

00:22:30.800 Mike, talk to me. There's a big article on Daily Signal today about Keith, the great congressman down in Texas, about a report that you guys did.

00:22:38.600 Walk me through this report and the action that's being taken from it. 0.99

00:22:43.160 right so islamists across the country are basically creating cities you know uh new 0.96

00:22:48.860 jurisdictions to be sharia law compliant uh it's a takeover the united states and one place where 0.93

00:22:54.360 this is happening at scale as you know is down in texas and they're picking texas because they

00:22:58.840 know if they could tilt texas away from red and away from an american crown jewel then the rest

00:23:04.240 of the country falls shortly thereafter well one prime example of this is a place called epic city

00:23:09.500 They now call it the meadow after they did a little brand shift. And it's this huge development that's got a lot of scrutiny. And we did a report. We did came out from all angles, including, you know, getting some new materials and looked into the failure of the Texas Workforce Commission's investigation into it, which was basically shut down in a very odd way.

00:23:30.600 And then some of the IRS issues that the federal government can pick up on, where basically we think they're in flagrant violation of IRS law as it relates to a nonprofit because it's a nonprofit overseeing basically a private business which funnels all the money back up to the nonprofit.

00:23:46.620 It's obscene.

00:23:47.700 And I'll tell you this, you know, I spoke to Harmeet Dillon about this, you know, over the holidays at Christmas time.

00:23:54.120 And she told me that if Texas wasn't doing the job, the feds would step back in.

00:23:58.740 And so I think we found evidence that Texas is indeed, you know, demonstrably not doing the job but for Ken Paxton down there.

00:24:06.700 This thing would be soaring if it weren't for Ken Paxton, you know, standing up new litigation that has slowed it down.

00:24:13.200 But this thing can end. And if we can end it in an epic city, we've got a lot more to do.

00:24:17.240 As you know, this is a civilizational fight. It's been happening for hundreds and hundreds of thousands of years.

00:24:22.260 But we got to stop some of these things in their tracks to show we can build off this, get some momentum, retake our country.

00:24:29.460 And of course, mass deportation also makes all this a lot easier.

00:24:33.520 This is America. It's not an Islamist republic. 0.94

00:24:37.140 The Oversight Project is not going to stand by and let Texas become an Islamist republic. 0.91

00:24:42.040 And so we took the fight to Epic City. 1.00

00:24:44.360 Keith South and the Sharia Free Caucus, Chip Roy, those guys, they're all standing up with us. 0.99

00:24:48.620 Let's get some points on the board and stop the citizens' tracks. 0.98

00:24:52.260 Just help me out here. Tell me, go back to the Texas, because Texas is a Republican state.

00:24:57.260 You've got a Republican executive branch. You've got Republicans in the House and Senate down there.

00:25:02.900 Give me the Texas Labor Board. What did you guys find out in your report, sir?

00:25:07.580 So basically, Texas kicked the investigation to this entity called the Texas Workforce Commission.

00:25:13.340 You know, there's a lot of public outcry about it. People have been upset.

00:25:15.820 And so the Republican, quote unquote, officials there are like, all right, let's do something about it to quiet this down.

00:25:20.820 But it wasn't really a real something. They launched what they called an investigation. They got back these basically no records returned on it, which makes no sense.

00:25:30.540 Any reasonable investigator looking at a 40 million dollar entity would expect some board minutes, financial records, communications, et cetera, basically gave them a bill of clean health and then a forward looking agreement to be monitored by a left wing law firm.

00:25:46.280 And it has all the elements of just a cover-up job to deal with public outcry.

00:25:52.260 It wasn't a serious thing.

00:25:53.480 And so we're saying that that TWC investigation was facially insufficient

00:25:58.600 and should give rise to the feds now getting involved on a number of grounds

00:26:03.880 to include the constitutional issues, the IRS issues, and so forth.

00:26:08.600 The House of Reps seems to agree with us of the Sharia Free Caucus.

00:26:12.260 We hope the DOJ, per Harmeet Dillon, saying if new evidence emerged, they would look at it, agrees with us.

00:26:18.060 But we're going to keep pushing here. But Paxton has slowed it down for now.

00:26:23.700 Where do people go to get the report and where do people go to find out more about the mass deportation coalition and join if they're so inclined, sir?

00:26:33.720 Yes. So for the report, go to itsyourgov.org or on X at itsyourgov. That's the Oversight Project.

00:26:40.000 If you want to join the hottest ticket in town, the mass deportation coalition, it's easy.

00:26:45.340 Go to mass deportation dot com. Sign up. Plug your email in. We'll come. We'll host events with you.

00:26:51.020 This is a national movement. The college students, the youth, people, younger generations are involved.

00:26:56.320 Other more established organizations are involved. But go to on X at phase two deport.

00:27:02.040 You'll see all you need to see there, including our 100-page playbook that lays out how Trump could get easily to 1 million deportations this year, up from about 200,000 or so last year.

00:27:13.920 So that's the train is moving down the tracks.

00:27:16.380 And guess what?

00:27:17.420 All, all, 100%, every last one of them can be sent packing in the years to come.

00:27:23.840 Amen, brother.

00:27:25.020 Thank you.

00:27:25.520 Great work, Mike.

00:27:26.520 Just great work.

00:27:27.320 um as you can see we will platform the people that are doing the hard work the pick and shovel

00:27:36.520 work that's driving this movement forward mass deportation coalition and people go to the site

00:28:07.740 that you support. This is a company run on Christian values, and trust me, these folks

00:28:13.180 are hardcore. Texas would not be fighting the good fight down there if you didn't have Patriot

00:28:19.160 Mobile. Great company, great couple, great service, short break. The dollars convertibility

00:28:33.180 dollar has lost over 85 percent of its purchasing power. Gold, on the other hand, is increased in

00:28:40.140 value by over 12,000 percent. That's why central banks are buying gold at record levels. That's

00:28:47.060 why major firms like Vanguard and BlackRock hold significant positions in gold. And that's why I

00:29:51.380 Bannon.

00:29:52.760 Okay, the White House, there was just a very simple, I don't even know it was a seminar,

00:29:57.200 a ceremony.

00:29:59.600 The president and the first lady did see the king and queen off.

00:30:02.960 The president did have comments.

00:30:03.840 You know, the president's gracious.

00:30:05.340 He comes from the hospitality industry.

00:30:08.280 Quote, great people.

00:30:09.200 We need more people like that in our country.

00:30:11.620 And quote, Mr. President, that's a king.

00:30:13.360 we we're celebrating the 250s we ran those guys out of there realize he's a uh very pleasant

00:30:19.700 individual but i think we're i think we're good we got a president don't need a king

00:30:24.000 um but the president very gracious host the king actually had i thought a lot of the speech

00:30:30.000 um was uh was very moving i thought what was ridiculous was the no kings radicals because

00:30:37.060 they have no idea what they believe they're actually they're actually looking for their

00:30:41.700 they're progressive fascist right they actually would like to have a uh a a leader all-powerful

00:30:49.240 if obama could have been all-powerful they would love to have that biden was uh you know biden

00:30:54.420 didn't work out clinton didn't work out obama was their guy that's what we saw him up there

00:30:59.520 how many standing ovations they give the king i mean it's a it's absurd so the king is gone

00:31:05.520 um and what i want to do now a jack reed a tour into pete he's the head of the uh of the senate

00:31:14.200 armed services uh former i think army officer uh let's i want to start with jack reed then i want

00:31:19.200 to get to pete also now my now mccabe is actually capitol hill brian was down at the white house to

00:31:25.060 catch the king's departure um mccabe tells me that the classified because when you see these

00:31:33.280 hearings, they normally have a classified part and an unclassified part. The classified part

00:31:39.880 happens in a SCIF, principally, I think, sometimes afterwards. Today, my understanding is they've

00:31:46.780 already had the classified version in the SCIF, and so now Pete is there in front of them. Let's

00:31:52.700 go and play. Let's start Jack Reed's, then I'll jump in and shift over to Pete's.

00:31:56.500 Thank you very much, Mr. Chairman, and Secretary Hegseth, General Cain, Mr. Hurst, welcome.

00:32:03.040 And please convey my appreciation, all of our appreciation, to our military service members and defense civilians.

00:32:10.880 We owe them our deepest sense of gratitude.

00:32:15.140 Mr. Secretary, this is your first public appearance before this committee in nearly a year.

00:32:19.300 Since your last public testimony, you and President Trump have unwisely taken the United States to war with Iran.

00:32:27.760 You ordered an attack on Venezuela and have directed an ongoing illegal boat strike campaign in the Caribbean and Pacific.

00:32:37.360 At your direction, our forces have bombed Yemen, Somalia, Iraq, Syria, Nigeria, and Ecuador.

00:32:45.880 In the United States you have deployed thousands of troops to cities like

00:32:50.640 Washington, Los Angeles, Chicago, and Portland to police American citizens and

00:32:56.260 you have personally intervened to end the careers of dozens of military leaders

00:33:01.300 without explanation. These actions will have significant and long-term

00:33:06.560 consequences. Now you appear before us to ask for a 1.5 trillion dollar

00:33:14.800 budget, a 45% increase above last year. I must say I'm skeptical and such a

00:33:22.180 request demands intense scrutiny. 61 days ago President Trump unilaterally began

00:33:29.920 the war in Iran. He had no coherent strategy. He refused to make a case to

00:33:35.680 the American people or consult Congress. He failed to present any evidence of an

00:33:41.120 immediate threat and he ignored the advice of military and intelligence

00:33:45.680 experts who warned him of the consequences. Today our nation is in a

00:33:51.180 war strategic position. The Strait of the Moves was open, now it is closed. 13

00:33:57.800 service members have tragically lost their lives and more than 400 have been

00:34:02.520 wounded. We have lost dozens of aircraft, sustained significant damage to our

00:34:07.220 bases in the area and expended an alarming amount of our missile inventory. Morale and readiness

00:34:14.540 across the force, especially among over-deployed units and vessels like the USS Gerald R. Ford

00:34:21.040 aircraft carrier, have suffered. Gasoline and fertilizer prices throughout the world have

00:34:26.880 surged. American families are bearing the cost of a war they wanted nothing to do with and have

00:34:33.620 gained nothing from. And yet, Secretary Hedges, you declared victory a month ago. On April 8th,

00:34:39.940 you said, in your words, Operation Epic Fury was a historic and overwhelming victory. By any

00:34:46.780 measure, Epic Fury decimated Iran's military and rendered its combat forces ineffective for years

00:34:54.860 to come. Let me be clear. Tactically, the United States military performance against Iran has been 0.60

00:35:02.400 remarkable, and I salute the service members who have executed this mission with skill and bravery.

00:35:08.360 The problem with your statements, Mr. Secretary, is they are dangerously exaggerated. Iran's

00:35:14.520 hardline regime remains in place. It still retains stockpiles of enriched uranium,

00:35:20.800 and its nuclear program remains viable. Iran's military retains enough combat effectiveness 0.78

00:35:27.460 to keep the conflict at an impasse.

00:35:30.800 Its missiles and drones remain a far greater threat than you have acknowledged, 0.79

00:35:35.140 and the regime has demonstrated it can effectively control the straightable moves when it chooses.

00:35:41.160 Mr. Secretary, I am concerned that you have been telling the President what he wants to hear

00:35:45.420 instead of what he needs to hear.

00:35:48.500 Bold assurances of success are a disservice to both the Commander-in-Chief

00:35:52.580 and the troops who risk their lives based on them.

00:35:55.620 Our military has performed heroically, but military force without a signed strategy is a path to long-term defeat.

00:36:05.220 I'd like to know what options you're considering now, given the course from this war and the stalemate President Trump has put us in.

00:36:13.520 More broadly, Mr. Secretary, too often you have made dangerous statements that are counterproductive to the mission. 0.94

00:36:21.200 You boasted about, quote, no stupid rules of engagement. 0.98

00:36:25.620 just days after hundreds of Iranian schoolgirls were tragically killed in a missile strike. 0.99

00:36:31.560 You have made troubling statements about showing no mercy and no quarter to the Iranians,

00:36:37.860 orders that would constitute war crimes.

00:36:40.400 As importantly, while our men and women are fighting and dying overseas,

00:36:44.100 you have focused unduly on your own personal agenda.

00:36:48.880 In the past two months alone, you have taken it upon yourself to overhaul the chaplain corps,

00:36:53.360 cancel flu vaccine requirements, repeal firearm restrictions on military posts, and bar service members from attending certain universities.

00:37:04.140 Just this week, you brought performer Kid Rock to an army base to go for a joyride in an Apache helicopter

00:37:11.080 after dismissing an earlier investigation into the pilots who recklessly chose to hover a bus at his home.

00:37:19.840 That runs directly counter to the chain of command and maintaining good order and discipline.

00:37:25.980 Most disturbingly, during your tenure, you have fired dozens of our most senior military leaders

00:37:31.200 and personally intervened to block the promotions of many others.

00:37:35.800 That is a betrayal of the merit-based system that forms the foundation of our military.

00:37:41.020 You are hollering out the military's bench of experience and highest-performing senior officers

00:37:47.880 while making young officers wonder if they should continue to serve.

00:37:52.780 My colleagues and I have heard from countless service members throughout the ranks,

00:37:57.360 many of whom will be watching right now, who are confused and disturbed by your actions.

00:38:03.540 Hopefully you can explain them today.

00:38:05.260 I wanted you to hear the way they're framing this.

00:38:11.360 You have no cooperation whatsoever from the Democrats on the pursuit of this military activity.

00:38:19.500 The war room possibly understands I am not a fan of this war, but we're in it, and we must have victory, okay?

00:38:27.340 We have to have victory, and they're looking at various alternatives right now.

00:38:33.400 But that's different than the Democrats.

00:38:35.420 They oppose this because President Trump is the commander-in-chief.

00:38:40.400 it's quite different they all and and reed is the least of the most radical i think you got so many

00:38:48.220 radicals in the in the senate so pete has given uh well let's i want to hear pete's we're not

00:38:54.320 going to be able to get through all of it i will continue this we're going to have clips from pete's

00:38:59.500 testimony today because they're attacking him remember we have troops in the field we have

00:39:03.540 young men and women in harm's way. And the dissension on this, folks, is going to get worse

00:39:11.580 and worse and worse. They see this as a method to attack President Trump. They see this as a

00:39:17.820 potential to bring down President Trump. That is what the politics of this is very different than

00:39:24.340 the geostrategic rightness or wrongness of doing this. Let's go ahead. I want to play the beginning

00:39:30.960 of Pete's comeback, because he went on and on and on.

00:39:34.080 And Pete Hexeth, one thing about Pete Hexeth,

00:39:37.840 he ain't going to back down.

00:39:38.820 So let's go ahead and get Pete.

00:39:41.760 Mr. Secretary, you are now recognized

00:39:44.640 for your opening statement, sir.

00:39:49.260 Well, Mr. Chairman, Ranking Member Reed, Senators,

00:39:53.060 thank you for the opportunity to testify

00:39:54.640 in support of President Trump's historic,

00:39:57.040 as you said, Mr. Chairman,

00:39:58.040 $1.5 trillion fiscal year 2027 budget for the Department of War.

00:40:03.920 The President's budget request reflects the urgency of the moment, addressing both the

00:40:09.100 deferment of longstanding problems as well as positioning our forces for the current

00:40:14.200 and future fights.

00:40:15.880 I'm honored to appear alongside General Dan Cain, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff,

00:40:20.100 and Jay Hurst, our Chief Financial Officer and Comptroller.

00:40:23.540 I'd like to start by thanking this committee and Congress for your partnership in securing the investments needed for a stronger, prouder, and more secure military.

00:40:33.420 Your focus on acquisitions, your focus on efficiency are the reflection in our department as well and in this budget.

00:40:42.280 A nation's ability to build, to innovate, and to support the critical needs of its warfighters at speed and at scale is the foundation upon which its deterrence and survival rests.

00:40:53.540 However, upon taking office on January 20th, 2025, President Trump inherited a defense industrial base that had been hollowed out by years of America last policies, resulting in a diminished capacity to project strength.

00:41:09.500 Under the previous administration, we were offshoring, outsourcing, beset by cost overruns and degraded capabilities.

00:41:17.540 But under the leadership of President Trump, our builder-in-chief,

00:41:21.680 we are reversing this systemic decay and putting our defense industrial base back on a wartime footing.

00:41:27.920 Urgency informs everything we do.

00:41:30.680 We're rebuilding a military that the American people can be proud of,

00:41:34.020 one that instills nothing less than unrelenting fear in our adversaries

00:41:38.440 and inspires historic morale and recruiting in its ranks.

00:41:43.940 We fight to win in every scenario.

00:41:46.660 The $1.5 trillion budget put forward by the President will build upon a previous $1 trillion FY26 top line

00:41:54.220 and will continue to reverse the four years of underinvestment and mismanagement of the Biden administration.

00:42:00.920 The $1.5 trillion budget will ensure that the United States continues to maintain the world's most powerful and capable military

00:42:08.720 as we grapple with a complex threat environment across multiple theaters.

00:42:13.640 Not to mention, the budget also includes a historic troop pay increase, 7% for junior enlisted, and the budget eliminates all poor or failing barracks.

00:42:25.900 Quality of life for our troops is front and center in this budget.

00:42:30.640 By supercharging our defense industrial capacity and transforming how the department does business, we are restoring American commercial dominance at a pace unseen in generations, transforming the defense industrial base.

00:42:43.240 $5 trillion defense budget. Of course, that's got to be tied to—it should be tied directly to

00:42:51.420 the hemispheric defense and the major geoeconomic and geostrategic rebalancing and refocus of the

00:42:59.560 United States national security. I'm not 100 percent sure that's occurring. We're still way

00:43:06.600 too engaged in the Middle East and way too engaged in areas that I don't think—I think

00:43:12.640 because the necessity of that geo strategically has lost its importance.

00:43:16.660 But we're currently fighting a war to make sure we can extract ourselves,

00:43:20.160 hopefully from that region, permanently.

00:43:25.060 Find out how this all ties together with your financial stability.

00:43:30.460 Physical gold.

00:43:31.600 It's not the price.

00:45:58.020 We've got Pete. Pete's answering questions now.

00:46:00.660 Let's go ahead and play some of the questions. They're starting to dig in. Pete's too big a Christian.

00:46:04.740 They're getting nasty and they're getting snarky as they always do. Let's go ahead and 1.00

00:46:08.180 hear Pete's testimony. We're going to play Pete's comments later today.

00:46:12.940 Who's one of the most distinguished and decorated officers of this generation.

00:46:17.680 General George's nomination

00:46:21.020 came before us, we reviewed it thoroughly, and we concurred. Why did you fire General George?

00:46:29.480 Well, as I did then, and I'll say now, we thank General George for his service.

00:46:35.080 And out of respect to him and other officers, we never talk about the nature of why certain

00:46:41.100 officers are asked to step down. But we all serve at the pleasure of the president. And ultimately,

00:46:46.460 my view in coming into this department, as I stated in my confirmation hearing, was to change

00:46:52.780 the culture of the department. And it's ultimately challenging to change the culture of a department

00:46:58.480 with the same people who are a part of or in that department. So I have made many changes

00:47:02.940 with general officers. We will continue to make changes as necessary with general officers,

00:47:08.240 and they will be in keeping with the trajectory of where we would like to take the department.

00:47:12.180 but it doesn't take away from the service of those.

00:47:14.860 And I think you will note that every officer that's been asked to leave has been treated with respect.

00:47:22.440 Interesting.

00:47:24.080 Of the two dozen officers that you have fired for reasons unrelated to performance,

00:47:30.580 since you have not indicated any cause, 60% are black or females.

00:47:36.800 Now, did the president direct you to single out female and black offices to be dismissed?

00:47:45.360 Senator, of course not. 0.50

00:47:47.700 And as we've emphasized at this department from the beginning, the only metric is merit.

00:47:54.260 Members on this committee and the previous leadership of this department were focused on social engineering, race and gender,

00:48:02.000 in ways that we think were unhealthy for the department.

00:48:04.300 focusing on those things, making decisions based on those things.

00:48:07.900 In President Trump's War Department, we make decisions based on only one thing, merit.

00:48:12.820 And that's how we've made decisions going forward.

00:48:15.080 That's how we've made them, and that's how we'll make them going forward.

00:48:16.760 Well, let me go back to General George.

00:48:18.860 What did he fail in terms of his lack of merit to continue serving?

00:48:25.720 As I've said, I don't talk about the nature of dismissal out of respect for these officers.

00:48:31.440 But ultimately, we want to take the department in a particular direction, certain services in a particular direction, and we want leadership that's running as fast in that direction as possible.

00:48:40.420 And in some cases, we make changes accordingly, but do so out of respect to those officers. 0.70

00:48:45.000 Well, I think that direction from your behavior is an intense interest in Christianity, in nationalism, and in not recognizing the talents of women and non-white gentlemen.

00:49:05.600 And that's the wrong direction.

00:49:07.540 I don't know what you're insinuating, Senator, but I am not ashamed of my faith in Jesus Christ.

00:49:12.040 Well, you shouldn't be ashamed.

00:49:13.600 And if you want to shame me for it, go ahead.

00:49:15.520 I'm not shaming you, but are you critical of other faiths?

00:49:21.920 I am a believer.

00:49:23.020 I'm quite open in that, and our department allows for a multitude of faiths.

00:49:26.400 So I don't know what you're suggesting.

00:49:28.160 I've heard the likes of things that people like you suggest to try to smear my character, and I won't give in to it.

00:49:34.120 Now, I'm sorry, Mr. Secretary, but broadcasting before the national religious broadcasters stressing the need for more Christianity in the military forces doesn't seem like a neutral position in which you tolerate and accept all religions.

00:49:54.180 Let me move on. The strategic aspects of this operation in Iran. The president declared that we're going to destroy their missiles and raise their missile industry to the ground.

00:50:09.360 And after more than 13,000 strikes, unclassified assessments conclude that Iran retains more than 40% of its drone arsenal and 60% of its ballistic missile launches compared with pre-war levels. 0.90

00:50:24.880 That's one of his objectives. 0.76

00:50:27.300 The second objective was regime change.

00:50:33.100 To the great, proud people of Iran, I say tonight that the hour of your freedom is at hand, and we will finish, take over your government.

00:50:40.800 Well, when we finish, we'll take over your government.

00:50:42.580 That has not succeeded.

00:50:44.780 And then one of his other things is the onset of the war, the president said, 0.56

00:50:49.460 we will ensure that Iran does not obtain a nuclear weapon.

00:50:53.320 Military operations, Iran, have not achieved that goal yet.

00:50:56.780 And it also seems to indicate that his pronouncements about Operation Midnight Hammer obliterating the nuclear policy and structure of the Iranians was false.

00:51:11.280 So you have not achieved any of the objectives yet, as the president mentioned.

00:51:17.340 Well, in this setting, I won't talk about the nature of metrics, which are classified, as you know, Senator.

00:51:22.920 But I can say that looking at the objectives we set out to achieve from the beginning, some of which you laid out, our military objectives have been stunningly effective.

00:51:34.820 Take, for example, their defense industrial base.

00:51:37.220 They're completely incapable at scale at any level of reconstituting the capabilities you referred to, which is a devastating result for any country, especially one whose ambitions are as well.

00:51:47.840 But this is going to go on.

00:51:48.760 President Trump's going to be briefed also by Admiral Cooper and General Cain, Pete Hexeth.

00:51:55.100 You can tell this is getting nasty right there.

00:52:00.060 Going before the national religious broadcasters is some sort of crime in the reads. 0.82

00:52:07.180 I mean, that's all the religious channels.

00:52:08.720 It's all the religious.

00:52:09.900 It's the faithful.

00:52:10.920 You couldn't get a more, you know, nicer group of folks than that.

00:52:17.540 This is how demented these Democrats are attacking Pete, Texas.

00:52:21.080 Well, is it because you're a Christian? 0.81

00:52:24.460 You see their angles of attack. 1.00

00:52:26.580 You see the poison they're putting into people's minds.

00:52:31.020 Okay, Charlie Kirk's show is next.

00:52:32.960 Andrew Colvett in the team.

00:52:35.260 Post those after that.

00:52:36.280 Steve Gruber on Real America's Voice.

00:52:39.460 Eric Bowling.

00:52:41.240 Then we'll be back at 5 o'clock.

00:52:42.960 We're going to drill down on all this, including Pete's testimony.

00:52:45.400 and what in the hell are we doing to get all 13 of those seats in my beloved south

00:52:52.620 maximalist strategy 13 seats they're there for the taking and we're going to take them

00:52:58.160 see you back there at five o'clock

00:53:15.400 The American health care system is broken, and for most Americans, nothing changes.

00:53:26.840 There's still delays, denials, high-cost insurance roadblocks.

00:53:30.820 So when I find people doing things differently, I talk about it.
