00:00:00.000 This is the primal scream of a dying regime.
00:00:07.000 Pray for our enemies.
00:00:09.000 Because we're going medieval on these people.
00:00:12.000 I got a free shot at all these networks lying about the people.
00:00:17.000 The people have had a belly full of it.
00:00:19.000 I know you don't like hearing that.
00:00:20.000 I know you try to do everything in the world to stop that,
00:00:22.000 but you're not going to stop it.
00:00:23.000 It's going to happen.
00:00:24.000 And where do people like that go to share the big lie?
00:00:27.000 Mega Media.
00:00:29.000 I wish in my soul, I wish that any of these people had a conscience.
00:00:34.560 Ask yourself, what is my task and what is my purpose?
00:00:38.320 If that answer is to save my country, this country will be saved.
00:00:44.540 War Room. Here's your host, Stephen K. Bannon.
00:00:51.080 Wednesday, 6th May, Year of Our Lord, 2026.
00:00:53.740 We will be going back and updating what's happening in the situation in the Gulf and around the negotiating table, probably at the bottom of the hour.
00:01:02.160 I want to bring back Dr. Carol Swain.
00:01:04.340 Dr. Swain, you did this decades ago.
00:01:06.620 What did you mourn about the situation with Islam in higher education, and how has it played out, ma'am?
00:01:13.960 We're in 2015, January, I believe it was January 15th, and you may remember that January 7th was when we had the Charley-Hepdo terrorist attack in France. 0.83
00:01:29.160 And so I warned that we needed to do better monitoring of Islamic organizations and that they posed a threat to us unless they accepted our Constitution and our way of life.
00:01:45.100 It was an op-ed published in the Tennessean. 1.00
00:01:48.880 It was basically a career ender in the sense that I took early retirement from academia two years after it was published.
00:01:58.480 and it was a dark period in my life.
00:02:03.060 I never anticipated such a hostile reaction
00:02:06.540 coming from just about every direction.
00:02:10.620 I was described as an Islamophobe,
00:02:15.120 you know, all kinds of names,
00:02:18.040 but I did warn that we were, 0.91
00:02:22.820 that Islam was not like other religions 1.00
00:02:24.900 and that they posed a threat to us 1.00
00:02:26.860 and that we needed to monitor them better.
00:02:31.540 You were at Vanderbilt at the time, correct?
00:02:34.600 Is that when you were at Vanderbilt?
00:02:37.160 Yes.
00:02:37.900 And you were a tenured professor, correct?
00:02:41.220 Yeah, I was a full professor, and I retired from there after 18 years,
00:02:48.240 and I had been at Princeton for 10 years, so 28 years of teaching.
00:02:52.760 And I've always been a provocative thinker.
00:02:55.980 I never anticipated that an op-ed in the Tennessean would be life-changing.
00:03:03.540 Well, hang on.
00:03:04.900 What did you say that was so radical in the op-ed? 0.91
00:03:08.380 Remember, these attacks, these Islamic attacks on Western civilization is one of the principal reasons, folks, of Donald Trump's rise to power in his eventual victory.
00:03:20.680 And we did take on ISIS in the first six months and eradicate the physical caliphate. 0.96
00:03:25.000 And President Trump, this is why we had the travel ban at the beginning.
00:03:29.200 President Trump was absolutely adamant about stopping Islamic attacks. 0.70
00:03:32.780 And in his first term, there was never an attack, one of these Islamic radical attacks. 0.56
00:03:38.500 President Trump took care of business.
00:03:40.400 What did you say in that op-ed?
00:03:42.540 Because this is one of the things we did in Texas.
00:03:44.400 We gave people a permission structure to talk about Sharia law. 0.57
00:03:48.480 And this is why the proposition to prohibit Sharia law in the state of Texas got almost two million votes with no money in back of it, all word of mouth and just grassroots.
00:03:59.160 What did you say in that op-ed in 2015, which is not that long ago, that was so radical that people would come and try to run you out of Vanderbilt University as a tenured professor, ma'am?
00:04:10.740 Well, President Obama was the president at the time, and he was admitting, you know,
00:04:17.060 large numbers of people from Islamic countries, and they were not being vetted. 1.00
00:04:22.380 And after the attack in Paris, I knew that we in America were at risk, too, that people that come 1.00
00:04:29.620 over here, they don't fundamentally change their worldview and their values just because they get
00:04:35.820 on a plane or get on a boat or walk across a border. And what was controversial was that I
00:04:43.660 said that Islam was not like other religions and that it posed a threat unless they adhered to our 0.98
00:04:53.640 values when it comes to free speech. And so that was pretty much the op-ed. And I mentioned, you
00:05:02.020 know, again, that they were not like other religions. They were a threat to us. They needed 1.00
00:05:06.160 to be better monitored. And so the reaction was swift. There was a protest almost immediately of
00:05:15.560 my bigotry and my hatred. And students were sent emails telling them if they needed counseling,
00:05:25.000 I'm talking about the whole student body, because of this terrible thing that had happened to their
00:05:29.820 community. And it was a time that I returned one semester to teach after that, but then later I
00:05:38.640 decided to take early retirement. And I can tell you that I did not, I got, it increased my
00:05:46.640 visibility. You probably would never have heard of me if that hadn't happened. It increased my
00:05:51.700 visibility, but it also was a dark period in my life because the only thing I knew how to do was
00:05:59.780 to be a university professor that was my identity and i gave that up 11 years on and you see what's
00:06:08.560 happening in texas i mean we shifted the entire show down there because we realized that you've 0.90
00:06:13.400 got to stop this islamic invasion of texas and the way you do it is focus on sharia law 0.92
00:06:17.840 10 years on as you look out as universities across the country as you look at how they become hot 0.92
00:06:23.800 beds of radicalism, but particularly pushing Sharia law and pushing Islamic supremacism.
00:06:30.420 What are your thoughts today, 10 years after your event?
00:06:34.820 Well, I mean, it's not just the universities.
00:06:37.140 If you look at our members of Congress, a lot of our leaders, because they're being
00:06:41.580 funded by people that have an interest in advancing Sharia, they're not really representing 0.89
00:06:49.680 the American people.
00:06:51.200 And with universities, again, it's like, follow the money.
00:06:57.200 It's all about the money.
00:06:59.020 And I feel like our nation has really been sold out and that our leaders are not committed
00:07:05.180 to protecting the nation or its people, that they are committed to enhancing themselves
00:07:11.380 and their financial portfolios.
00:07:14.420 We see it again and again.
00:07:16.280 And that is placing everyone else at risk.
00:07:19.200 And I know as someone steeped in the Constitution that we have freedom of religion, that includes all religions, and that all religions under our Constitution have to be treated fairly and equally. 1.00
00:07:32.460 But what I see happening with Islam is that they don't play by those rules. 1.00
00:07:38.320 They use our Constitution. 0.95
00:07:40.600 But in many ways, the leaders, their leaders who have an agenda, who have said that their flag will fly over the White House, they are not interested in religion in the same way that we are.
00:07:54.040 I see it as more political than anything else.
00:07:57.200 And I think too many people are asleep at the wheel.
00:08:00.020 uh dr swain where can people go to get your content you're going to be a major voice in this
00:08:06.300 in this fight and you can see down in texas i keep saying telling folks they're getting more
00:08:10.840 aggressive they're not getting less aggressive they're getting more aggressive what they've done
00:08:14.780 with this texas a&m or this texas a.m just shows you how in your face uh they're going to be and
00:08:22.580 so unless it's shut down it's not going to get shut down it's not going to metastasize like a
00:08:27.040 cancer. So, Dr. Swain, where do people go to get all your content, including your books and your
00:08:31.640 articles, your writings? Well, I'm active on X at Carol M. Swain, and this didn't happen overnight.
00:08:40.980 This has been going on for a long time. They had a plan. The rest of us haven't had one.
00:08:46.840 Amen. Dr. Carol Swain, good to have you on and brilliant analysis of what's happening.
00:08:53.040 Thank you so much. Thank you.
00:08:57.040 Tyler O'Neill, Daily Signal's got an incredible piece up about the deep states coming together to protect Southern Poverty Law Center.
00:09:03.980 Tyler, I want to go back in time because you were one of the first people to take this threat very seriously.
00:09:10.600 In fact, you took years to research a book and wrote a book about the Southern Poverty Law Center.
00:09:14.920 If we can get the cover up, which is walk me through what your investigation back then found about the Southern Poverty Law Center
00:09:21.480 and why you took your time, given everything else going on, to focus on this and actually write a book about it.
00:09:27.040 Thanks, Steve.
00:09:28.800 Yeah, so what I had focused on throughout my years following the Southern Poverty Law
00:09:33.940 Center is how this engine of defamation on the left systematically smears good conservative
00:09:42.680 people.
00:09:44.000 And so the thing that really opened my eyes about this was in 2012, there was a shooting.
00:09:50.260 And this is something that you don't hear a lot about, partially because the legacy
00:09:54.060 media doesn't like to cover violence from the left for some reason.
00:09:58.940 But there was this mass shooting, attempted terrorist attack in 2012 at the Family Research
00:10:04.000 Council, which is a conservative Christian non-profit here in the DC area.
00:10:09.180 And the guy there had a bag of Chick-fil-A sandwiches and a semi-automatic pistol, planned 0.98
00:10:15.180 to shoot everyone in the building and smear a Chick-fil-A sandwich in their faces. 0.65
00:10:20.420 And this terrorist, I mean, he's a convicted terrorist, told the FBI he targeted FRC because 0.98
00:10:26.520 it was on the SPLC's hate map.
00:10:29.400 Now, he got convicted, thank God, the SPLC condemned the attack, but the SPLC kept Family
00:10:36.200 Research Council on the map.
00:10:37.920 Fast forward to 2017 when GuideStar decides to put the SPLC's hate group accusation on
00:10:46.380 every non-profit on GuideStar.
00:10:48.800 And so what you have starting really to pick up steam in 2017 is this engine of the left's cancel culture where these companies are essentially propping up the SPLC's smears against mainstream conservative and Christians.
00:11:08.260 And this continued to grow.
00:11:10.940 I mean, in 2017, you saw the start of the Change the Terms Coalition, where the Center
00:11:16.640 for American Progress and Color of Change and a few other groups came alongside the
00:11:22.160 SPLC and tried to convince big tech and corporate America to systematically blacklist conservatives.
00:11:29.760 And yes, you know, the SPLC had followed the Ku Klux Klan and the Aryan Nations and many
00:11:35.200 of these other groups in its history, and it still continued to monitor them. But the hate map
00:11:42.760 started to include so many mainstream conservative and Christian groups that this was clearly a
00:11:48.300 weapon. And what I saw looking into this, it was a weapon to demonize conservatives and cut us off
00:11:55.260 from mainstream polite society. And it was also a really effective fundraising tool. And that's why,
00:12:02.920 The book is Making Hate Pay the Corruption of the Southern Poverty Law Center because the SPLC inflates hate and goes to its donors and says, we are the number one opponent of hate in America.
00:12:16.260 Hate is growing in America.
00:12:18.100 Give us money.
00:12:19.220 This is an incredibly lucrative fundraising strategy, and it has paid huge dividends for the SPLC.
00:12:27.860 And so the more I looked into it, the worse everything got.
00:12:31.060 I mean, I looked into the history of Morris Dees, who is the co-founder of the SPLC, a lot of really disgusting claims regarding sexual harassment at the SPLC under his leadership.
00:12:43.700 And ultimately, those claims led in 2019 to the SPLC firing him and, you know, also claims of racial discrimination at the SPLC.
00:12:53.180 They fired Dees, they brought in Tina Chen, who was Michelle Obama's chief of staff, to do an investigative review, and ultimately that review never saw the light of day.
00:13:05.340 Pissed off employees at the SPLC actually formed a union to oppose the SPLC from within because they didn't trust leadership.
00:13:14.220 And to this day, we have accusations of union busting and, you know, this complicated nature of the SPLC.
00:13:21.320 I mean, you almost can't make up the idea that you would have a nonprofit where people work because they ostensibly believe in the mission, forming a union, which creates a battle between, you know, an institutionalized battle between leadership who have the vision for this organization and the employees who are, by joining a union, essentially saying, we want to make a buck and we don't trust leadership.
00:13:48.980 That's a horrible position for a nonprofit to be in. But when you have a nonprofit as corrupt and as wealthy as the SPLC, it really is arguably necessary. And even that union is not holding the SPLC to account.
00:14:05.600 Hang on for a second.
00:14:06.640 I want to get this story update then about the indictment.
00:14:09.400 Even the indictment, I think, had some of those people,
00:14:12.280 those insiders that were fed up with management,
00:14:14.220 I think participated or will participate.
00:14:16.760 And then you've got the deep state putting an iron ring around this
00:14:21.140 and trying to make sure the SPLC, because that's the railroad,
00:14:23.760 I think they're sitting on $800 million.

00:16:17.860 broken your pharmacy doesn't have to be war room here's your host steven k man so tyler i want
00:16:28.180 people to understand here it's sitting on roughly 800 million dollars i don't have the specific
00:16:33.540 but roughly 800 million dollars endowment it's raised a ton of money on this whole thing you
00:16:40.080 know stop hate they named charlie kirk i think war room was named years ago breitbart was named
00:16:45.260 years ago when i ran that it uh it uh has included charlie kirk it's one of the reasons charlie
00:16:51.940 kirk's life was endangered and they're trying to do that they're trying to uh make it difficult for
00:16:57.320 you to have public uh public gatherings public events this is what they do to try to gin up the
00:17:03.640 crazies this is one of the most evil groups around in fact in the indictment correct me if i'm wrong
00:17:08.540 it looks like you can see the hand of some disgruntled employees maybe even flipping and
00:17:14.320 giving the government evidence or giving them inside documentation about what was going on,
00:17:19.300 sir? Yeah. I mean, it does seem like that. What we see in this indictment, and I'm glad to speed
00:17:26.160 up to that issue because this really is the crux of what we're seeing with the SPLC right now.
00:17:32.320 They are accused of setting up fictitious accounts, lying to banks in order to cloak the
00:17:39.780 money that they spent paying their field sources. Now, the SPLC claims these were just informants.
00:17:47.300 The indictment, you know, cast some serious doubt on that claim. But the SPLC essentially was
00:17:53.880 propping up the very same hate they claim to be presenting. They claim to exist to oppose,
00:18:01.380 to dismantle in their words. And that's what they're accused of doing in this indictment.
00:18:06.800 And I think the indictment is very strong if for nothing else than the black and white
00:18:12.660 words where you have one employee filing to create these accounts saying that these are
00:18:18.840 companies that exist on their own.
00:18:21.300 And then you have a few years later, the SPLC, the president of the SPLC filing another
00:18:28.160 statement to the very same bank saying the SPLC managed these entities and these bank
00:18:34.700 accounts and we are closing them now.
00:18:36.800 And so what happened last week was very revealing.
00:18:41.580 Last week, we had Democrats come forward and say that there was a whistleblower who said
00:18:48.680 that the Department of Justice rushed the indictment, that they didn't have full faith
00:18:56.080 in the strength of their indictment, and therefore they rushed to the grand jury to get it out,
00:19:01.740 and that this violated the SPLC's rights.
00:19:05.300 That's the suggestion here.
00:19:07.260 And Democrats are going out there with this whistleblower report.
00:19:11.440 Immediately when I saw that, I thought, wow, this looks like a deep state effort.
00:19:17.020 Because we have this poll, and it's a very revealing poll from the middle of last year,
00:19:22.580 showing that most, 75% of the Washington, D.C.-based federal bureaucrats
00:19:30.680 who make $150,000 or more and who voted for Kamala Harris in the last election said they
00:19:38.040 would not obey a lawful Trump order if they thought it was bad policy.
00:19:44.120 That is what we mean by the deep state in a nutshell.
00:19:48.160 And I think it is one of those people, most likely, who decided to leak this information
00:19:53.260 to the Democrats.
00:19:54.720 And look, I don't know whether the information is true or not.
00:19:57.800 It seems very convenient for the Democrats.
00:20:00.680 But, you know, regardless of whether it's true that the indictment was rushed, the indictment still is extremely strong if they have in black and white the SPLC lying to the bank, which they do.
00:20:13.740 I mean, there is no claim.
00:20:15.280 The SPLC has been defending their program that they say were informants, not just field sources.
00:20:22.680 You know, that has to be fully litigated.
00:20:25.000 But the one thing the SPLC has not denied is those specific statements to the bank in black and white.
00:20:33.020 And if the entire indictment was just those statements, that indictment would be ready to print.
00:20:40.780 So the notion that the DOJ rushed this, that this is a sloppy job, I don't think it passes muster.
00:20:50.100 What should we be looking for in this?
00:20:52.040 This is one I tell people, we're going on offense on redistricting, we're on offense against AI, or at least to make sure that AI is appropriately reviewed and monitored.
00:21:03.820 We got a great hit by Scott Besson that we'll put up in a little while.
00:21:07.380 Also about the Chinese Communist Party, us stopping funding the Chinese Communist Party advances in AI.
00:21:12.980 But this is another one we have to be talking about the deep state.
00:21:16.380 Yes, you got Brennan, you got Comey, you got these actors, but it's an institutional thing.
00:21:20.460 But this is the Southern Poverty Law Center is the railhead of so many of the operations.
00:21:26.460 And now, with almost $800 million, there's been a bank for this.
00:21:30.640 And so the takedown of this in criminal charges brought, and not just that, to board members, to the George Clooney's of the world, everybody associated with this that knew what was going on, it has to be pursued aggressively.
00:21:43.420 So what's the next things we should be looking for, Tyler?
00:21:45.680 Yeah, we should be following the case as I'm always looking whenever there's a new filing in this indictment, in this case, the SPLC is trying to get the grand jury materials released, but that's not the way that this process usually goes and the government had a strong response to that.
00:22:06.240 I want to mention, you know, the reason I think the deep state is involved here is because the SPLC had its tentacles really far deep into the Biden administration, particularly in the DOJ, in the civil rights division, and in other places.
00:22:21.300 SPLC people were, they were training prosecutors, federal prosecutors.
00:22:27.160 You cannot make this up, going and briefing federal prosecutors on the anti-LGBTQ movement.
00:22:33.400 This is the SPLC's word for if you're a conservative Christian, they're putting you on the hate
00:22:39.340 map and smearing you.
00:22:41.380 And it's beyond the pale, the influence they had.
00:22:45.420 I think they still have a lot of ties in that deep state apparatus.
00:22:50.320 So yes, going after it.
00:22:52.120 We also have to be demanding answers.
00:22:54.560 There is a woman who was on the board of the SPLC when they were allegedly paying these
00:23:00.420 white nationalists.
00:23:01.800 And she's now running for governor in Michigan. 0.96
00:23:05.480 So her name is Jocelyn Benson. 0.63
00:23:08.160 She's the main Democratic candidate for governor of Michigan. 1.00
00:23:11.240 And she needs to answer what she knew and when she knew it.
00:23:15.640 So that's another story that I have coming out of this indictment.
00:23:19.320 But the SPLC really is a hub of the left's cancel culture apparatus.
00:23:24.320 And it is not alone.
00:23:25.560 Many of the SPLC's allies are cited by Anthropic as good sources on combating extremism and terrorism.
00:23:35.020 So when you talk about AI, the threat of this anti-Christian bias is in AI, too.
00:23:42.080 And we cannot take our eyes off the ball.
00:23:44.640 We have to be aggressive on this and on offense.
00:23:47.700 And I will be exposing as much of it as I possibly can.
00:23:51.260 But there is always more to tell in this story, and hopefully this indictment will lead to some serious convictions and expose even more of the SPLC's horrific corruption.
00:24:04.980 Tyler, where do people get you over The Daily Signal and where they get you on social media?
00:24:10.180 Thanks, Steve.
00:24:11.160 You can find me on Axe at Tyler2, the number 2 O'Neill.
00:24:15.140 Go to The Daily Signal, dailysignal.org.
00:24:17.720 We also have a big YouTube presence.
00:24:20.560 We have a big presence on Truth Social, and we're constantly publishing.
00:24:26.400 You see Victor Davis Hanson there on our homepage.
00:24:30.280 There is so much news that we are constantly pushing and covering, but exposing the rot
00:24:37.040 of the deep state, the left's agenda, the way that they try to silence conservatives
00:24:41.760 is the heart of my focus, and The Daily Signal will be leading on it.
00:24:46.860 I'm also, you know, working on an update for Making Hate Pay, that book that came out in 2020.
00:24:54.260 It's going to be updated for this year.
00:24:57.560 So keep an eye out for that.
00:25:00.100 Perfect.
00:25:00.660 Rob Bluey, the team of Daily Signal, Elizabeth Troutman, Mitchell, you and many others.
00:25:05.260 Just an incredible news site.
00:25:06.360 Thank you, sir.
00:25:06.880 Appreciate you.
00:25:08.600 Thanks, Steve.
00:25:09.820 And we appreciate the fact that Bluey doesn't have a paywall.
00:25:12.620 You can go see everything.
00:25:14.280 Let's go.
00:25:14.940 Let's go.
00:25:15.260 But we're going to quick dip into Monica Crowley and Matt Bull. 0.99
00:25:19.700 Let's go ahead and take it.
00:25:21.460 Worked that through, and Congress couldn't get it done in time.
00:25:24.280 So the president picked up the phone, made one phone call, and Penske, they just turned
00:25:31.720 it around and one day redesigned the entire track to go close to the Capitol, but not
00:25:37.900 physically around the Capitol.
00:25:39.560 And this track is so cool.
00:25:42.340 Independence Avenue, Constitution Avenue. I've seen the entire layout of the areas of the pit stops
00:25:49.540 and where the media is going to be in the different boxes. This city is going to be transformed into
00:25:56.460 an IndyCar track that is not going to be believed. The president will drop the flag and kick off the
00:26:03.940 race, and then Secretary Duffy, Secretary of Transportation, will drop the flag for the winning
00:26:09.840 car. And we're expecting upwards of 75 to 100,000 people coming to DC for that. Free of charge. All
00:26:17.240 of these events are free of charge. Some, I think you do have to register for Secret Service security
00:26:23.900 and so on, but it costs you absolutely nothing. Freedom250.org is the website. Yeah. And so,
00:26:29.680 and then in addition to all of these events too, you guys have on the website too, because I was
00:26:34.320 doing my homework before we did this. Also, several opportunities for students around the
00:26:39.460 country to do things and you know use their creative juices to to help uh here uh there's
00:26:44.880 an art contest a poetry contest uh for for young folks across the country tell us about those
00:26:50.260 yeah so that is called american heroes student art contest you have until july 1st to register
00:26:56.620 and and submit uh the work that you would like to submit for this contest again freedom250.org
00:27:02.380 for all of the details there um it's all about celebrating american patriotism and that's why
00:27:08.140 we called it American Heroes, because we really want to involve these younger generations in a
00:27:14.780 love for their country, because you guys at Breitbart talk about this all the time.
00:27:18.900 There has been serious indoctrination of our kids for generations, maybe 100 years or so,
00:27:26.820 through public education, but also through private education as well, to really tear kids away
00:27:32.040 from America, what it means to be an American, and tear at the love, the innate love that I
00:27:39.020 certainly had when I was a little girl in 1976, that all of us in this room grew up with. They've
00:27:45.700 been indoctrinated away from that. So what we're trying to do is counterbalance that with a real
00:27:50.600 message of love for America, appreciation, and get them to have some skin in the game by giving
00:27:56.760 them great incentives with contests like that one we're also i'm going to um we're going to have
00:28:02.800 we're going to take a short commercial break i'm going to figure out how we're going to do the
00:28:05.920 entire we just dipped into the live how we're going to do the entire breitbart matt ball with
00:28:11.080 monica crowley it's that important of 250 let me figure that out we're going to take a short
00:28:16.120 commercial break back in the warm in a moment the dollar's convertibility into gold ended in 1971
00:28:24.760 gold was fixed at $35 an ounce.
00:28:28.680 Well, fast forward to today,
00:28:30.060 and the U.S. dollar has lost over 85% of its purchasing power.
00:28:35.580 Gold, on the other hand, is increased in value by over 12,000%.
00:28:40.200 That's why central banks are buying gold at record levels.
00:28:44.120 That's why major firms like Vanguard and BlackRock
00:28:46.600 hold significant positions in gold.
00:28:49.780 And that's why I encourage you to consider diversifying your savings
00:28:54.380 with physical gold from birch gold group but it starts with education birch gold just announced
00:29:00.680 their learn and earn precious metals event this free online event rewards you for learning the
00:29:06.940 basics of investing in precious metals sign up to get a free silver on your next purchase

00:29:19.200 as this special event only runs through April 30th.
00:29:23.220 The dollar lost its anchor in 1971.
00:29:27.320 You don't have to lose yours.
00:29:29.640 Text my name, Bannon, B-A-N-N-O-N,

00:32:13.380 Appreciate it. Action, action. Thank you, brother. Let's go and play from Maria Bartiroma this
00:32:17.840 morning. Let's go ahead and play the great Scott Bennett, our former contributor and now Secretary
00:32:22.680 of the Treasury. Secretary, before you go, final word on AI, artificial intelligence, because I
00:32:30.340 I KNOW YOU CALLED A MEETING, SOME PEOPLE SAID IT WAS AN EMERGENCY MEETING TO TALK ABOUT
00:32:33.860 THE BANKS AND AI AFTER A BREACH OF ANTHROPIC. WHAT CAN YOU TELL US ABOUT THIS ISSUE?
00:32:43.220 IS THIS A SYSTEMIC ISSUE? SHOULD WE BE WORRIED ABOUT AI HACKING OUR BANK ACCOUNTS?
00:32:49.540 YOU SHOULD, MARIA. AND THE U.S. GOVERNMENT HAS GOTTEN INVOLVED.
00:32:54.500 the AI companies that are working with us. What we've had in the past month was a step change in
00:33:02.980 the power of one large language model, but we're going to see it from the other AI companies.
00:33:09.300 And it's important, Maria, that the U.S. stays ahead here. Imagine if China or some non-state
00:33:15.540 actor were ahead of us. So what we are determined to do is work with our AI companies to allow them
00:33:23.140 TO CONTINUE INNOVATE. BUT OUR CHARGE OF THE U.S. GOVERNMENT IS MAINTAINING SAFETY.
00:33:28.100 AND THERE IS A VERY IMPORTANT CALCULUS HERE BETWEEN INNOVATION AND SAFETY.
00:33:34.740 AND AT THE U.S. GOVERNMENT, WE'RE GOING TO MAKE SURE THAT THINGS STAY SAFE.
00:33:39.220 CHAIR POWELL AND I CALLED THE BANK EXECUTIVES INTO TOWN.
00:33:42.500 IT WAS A LITTLE LESS DRAMATIC THAN IT SEEMED AT THE TIME BECAUSE THEY WERE ALREADY IN D.C.
00:33:48.660 So we got them in person rather than convening a call later in the week.
00:33:53.620 And the banks are working on their resiliency.
00:33:57.240 And the U.S. government is working side by side with everyone.
00:34:02.660 And, again, very important for the U.S. to continue to dominate here, set the global standard, and maintain our lead.
00:34:10.460 Okay, that's like a papal bull right there.
00:34:12.800 Our former contributor, Scott Besson.
00:34:14.480 why did I take on Elon Musk and defeat him when Elon Musk was pushing
00:34:18.520 Howard Lutnick as Secretary of Treasury, which would have been an unmitigated
00:34:22.480 disaster. He's been a quasi-unmitigated disaster over commerce.
00:34:27.720 It's because Scott is a safe pair of hands. So when Scott
00:34:30.640 Besson says, we're going to make sure that we have this safe
00:34:34.540 at the same time we're innovating, that is a major sea change.
00:34:38.780 David Sachs is gone. These accelerationists that just don't want
00:34:42.640 any controls over AI are out. Scott Besson is taking a major role. We're going to spend a lot
00:34:47.500 more time on that and a lot more time on the pro-CCP voices and the oligarchs who are making
00:34:54.240 a fortune off of selling AI products like chips, other parts of the ecosystem to the Chinese
00:35:00.680 Communist Party. You're now trying to say, oh my gosh, you know, Bannon doesn't agree with
00:35:04.620 President Trump's policy. He doesn't want to sell anything. We have to supply him to keep
00:35:08.820 them on our system. That is a bald face lie. There's not one congressional committee or any
00:35:14.520 data that backs anything up. Let me repeat that. It's a bald face lie. Anybody pushing that line
00:35:20.100 is pushing the Chinese Communist Party to be somehow competitive with the United States of
00:35:24.380 America. Anyway, more at five o'clock on that in Scott Besson. An old friend of the show joins us
00:35:29.500 from the war room, Marty Davis, one of the best entrepreneurs in the country, dear friend of
00:35:33.720 President Trump, dear friend of Laura Ingraham, was very involved in the 26 campaign, Marty,
00:35:38.880 when you bailed us out that final weekend to allow us to go to Minnesota, of which President
00:35:44.020 Trump reminds me, Bannon, we lost by less than one point.
00:35:47.020 If you'd let me go with Marty more often, we would have won.
00:35:49.840 I want to have you on today.
00:35:50.920 You're going to testify this afternoon from the International Trade Committee.
00:35:54.440 Things that don't get out and make the public, they make the business press, but not into
00:35:58.620 the general news shows about unfair foreign competition coming and trying to destroy some
00:36:04.840 of the best entrepreneurial companies in america what are you going to testify about today and how
00:36:09.240 real is this problem sir well thanks steve good good to good to see you good talking to you um
00:36:16.360 we uh we're going to be over there testifying on on the predatory behavior of foreign governments
00:36:23.480 that literally target U.S. manufacturing products
00:36:27.880 that find lucrative opportunities in market expansion here in the United States.
00:36:33.340 And in doing so, they become attractive to those governments
00:36:37.080 who are frankly just trying to hold up their dysfunctional form of government,
00:36:40.840 oftentimes by hijacking the prosperity of American middle class
00:36:46.160 and American consumers in the United States to serve their manufacturing base
00:36:52.620 by manipulating and navigating and gaming the economic platforms
00:36:57.120 that manufacturers must compete in.
00:37:00.020 And in doing so, they eliminate and adulterate any integrity
00:37:05.020 to free and fair competition and free enterprise.
00:37:11.140 I thought the tariffs that Jameson Greer and Peter Navarro
00:37:15.240 and Scott Besson are working on nonstop was supposed to,
00:37:18.280 part of this was to eliminate because there was also non-tariff barriers.
00:37:22.420 That's a get-in.
00:37:23.000 What is happening here?
00:37:24.360 Because is this onslaught started?
00:37:27.180 Is the president's team doing enough?
00:37:29.140 Can they do more?
00:37:30.000 And what countries are you talking about?
00:37:31.760 I understand we have many geopolitical things we have to balance.
00:37:34.820 President Trump doesn't want to get into a hard throwdown with the Chinese Communist Party. 0.63
00:37:38.780 He's different than the worm is.
00:37:40.660 And the reason is he's president of the United States.
00:37:42.280 He's got to worry about the whole thing.
00:37:44.020 He can't just be some fire breather yelling into a microphone.
00:37:47.340 But in this case, what countries are we talking about?
00:37:49.800 And you call them predatory.
00:37:51.620 That's a pretty harsh term, sir.
00:37:54.560 Yeah, it is. 1.00
00:37:55.200 And it's accurate as well.
00:37:58.080 You know, we have some of the great prosperity of the world here.
00:38:01.320 And the Pacific Rim in particular, you talk about the countries, the nuclei is China.
00:38:06.840 When the president did his work in Trump 1.0, he and Biden sustained much of it.
00:38:13.380 he did a good job of bringing some level of barrier and integrity to the trading practices
00:38:20.240 of the Chinese. So they've, I call it reverse fracked it through Vietnam, excuse me, through 0.99
00:38:27.780 Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia, and they kind of set up operations in those, and India is another
00:38:33.960 participant to, you know, set up that kind of a game system to hijack American manufacturers and
00:38:41.180 our products of choice that are flourishing in the United States. And it's predatory because
00:38:47.100 when they see markets sustaining, performing, and growing, and blossoming, and ultimately
00:38:53.220 exploding in our consumer platforms, they attack them. They identify them, and they build around
00:39:00.960 them, and they expand very, very rapidly in that regard. In our business, in the court servicing
00:39:06.240 business in 2011, there was virtually no court slabs coming into the United States from the
00:39:12.540 Pacific Rim. And today they're eight to one, the volume that we produce domestically on a market
00:39:18.780 that we largely created as a domestic producer. So is the administration doing the work they need
00:39:25.980 to be doing? They're trying. It's messy and complex, but they're doing it. President Trump
00:39:32.080 has certainly led the charge in this regard, it's not an easy thing to unpack. We must remember
00:39:38.020 they violate existing U.S. trade law, that we're not looking in these cases to create new trade
00:39:44.600 law. There's placement for that and reason for it. But this is a Bush thing. This was the mistake
00:39:50.480 of George Bush, 2001, when he coupled up with Clinton and Larry Summers and really eviscerated
00:39:57.280 u.s manufacturers we lost four million jobs um in the next eight nine years after bush put them in
00:40:03.780 the china in the most famous nation on a permanent basis hang on i want people to understand this
00:40:09.120 this was uh most favored nation wto all of it when clinton given his what he had done in the 80s or
00:40:16.440 90s with uh summers and what quite frankly the father bush had done in bailing out the chinese
00:40:22.920 Communist Party after Tiananmen Square. That all came to fruition in 2001. Tell the audience what 0.51
00:40:28.700 happened then. Well, in December of 2001, President Bush, along with Gingrich and some of the
00:40:36.500 Republicans in the Congress, you know, you talk about this issue. It's an America first bipartisan
00:40:41.560 issue. And in this case, the Republicans made the air. Clinton started it. Bush finished it.
00:40:47.140 And they put China in the most favored nation status on a permanent basis.
00:40:51.120 And there are certain rules and policy and law that's supposed to be instituted and enforced.
00:40:57.180 They failed to do that.
00:40:58.640 Bush waived more safeguard awards that our Trade Commission gave to American companies in favor of China and other Pacific Rim companies than any president I can recall or have read about.
00:41:11.140 But that status gave them all kinds of access to our markets.
00:41:15.460 Subsequent to that, we lost four million U.S. manufacturing jobs.
00:41:21.120 And and and Bush orchestrated it. He they made a big mistake, Steve.
00:41:25.920 They said, well, we're going to we're going to westernize China in the Pacific Rim.
00:41:31.160 A noble thought and a hope, but it didn't work and it didn't work in big ways.
00:41:36.360 In fact, it's been a catastrophe. And not only did China not westernize, they doubled down in the other direction and have used the condition of the most favored nation in the WTO to basically work at their whim. 0.55
00:41:50.420 to, as I said, predatorily hijack U.S. manufacturers that are having success
00:41:56.180 in this marketplace. They don't have a middle class with the prosperity of the United States.
00:42:01.760 In our case, we're in the building products industry. It's the darling in the world for
00:42:06.680 building products industries, home building, commercial building, and so forth. So they very
00:42:11.320 much have a keen eye on it throughout the Pacific Rim into the United States. And the frustrating
00:42:17.560 part of Bush, he attacks the president instead of tipping his hat and saying, you know, we got it
00:42:24.560 wrong. We just got it wrong on the westernization of communist China. And thank you, Mr. President,
00:42:32.160 President Trump, for intervening and doing the tough work of unpacking what we did just a short
00:42:38.160 25 years ago that they did it and supporting the president, including Summers as well. But Bush
00:42:46.060 in particular, caused this. He's been, I think, one of the biggest damaging effects of a presidency
00:42:54.360 in the past 50 years, as it relates to U.S. manufacturers, has been what George Bush did
00:43:00.960 in 2001, and then failed to do over the next seven years by enforcing the requirements of
00:43:08.920 permanent status in the WTO and keep China to meet the requirements of their entrance into that
00:43:17.900 organization. Marty, hang on for one second. We're taking a short commercial break. Marty Davis on
00:43:23.880 the other side. He's going to testify later today in front of the U.S.-based International Trade
00:43:31.440 Commission, the ITC. Pretty explosive testimony. Predatory practices of governments to steal

00:44:06.680 reserve. He's replacing Jerome Powell, slashing rates, igniting America's re-industrialization.
00:44:13.020 Now, this is not theory. Government-backed industry plus low rates unleashes super cycles.
00:44:19.720 History does repeat. Gold's already exploding. Miners are up over 400 percent in the last year.
00:44:26.940 What Rickards is calling Trump's gift is wealth for American patriots, not global handouts.

00:47:50.420 going to have you back i think the way we're going to do it we're going to take one of the
00:47:52.680 six o'clock hours and i want to go through an entire hour of the history of this but the
00:47:56.300 relevancy today you're going to testify about these practices when you say predatory you have
00:48:02.140 China. You also have India. These countries, the rule of law means nothing to them. They see the
00:48:08.520 most lucrative market in the world being the United States of America. They see great entrepreneurs
00:48:12.840 like yourself that have built these amazing companies and employ, you know, thousands of
00:48:19.020 people. It's 75% of all manufacturing in the country are 50 employees or less. What's your
00:48:26.700 testimony going to be today? And what message would you give President Trump? I know you're
00:48:30.340 I know you're close to him. You've done a great job in Minnesota. You bailed us out in 16. The
00:48:36.200 reason we were so close was because of you. What are you going to say today at the commission,
00:48:42.160 and what would you tell President Trump, sir? I would speak first to your commercial. I want
00:48:47.640 to make a point quickly that building products are about 30 percent of a home is new cost home
00:48:54.820 is building products and about 7% of that is imported. So don't buy the Affordability Act
00:49:00.980 when it comes to protecting American manufacturing and not protecting it, but ensuring free and fair
00:49:05.380 trade. Today, we're going to testify on the overbuilding of capacity in these. They're all
00:49:11.320 communist, fascist or quasi-fascist governments for the most part. They're not free markets.
00:49:17.560 They're command economies in many forms, and they manipulate and game the activities of the
00:49:22.280 economic platforms. And in this case, they fund overcapacity building even when the demand isn't
00:49:28.380 in place. And that just ultimately vacuums out any growth and any demand creation that can occur
00:49:35.540 and will occur as markets expand. And it sucks it, if you will, fracks it right into those
00:49:41.060 manufacturing platforms in those countries that are state funded, government funded. 0.90
00:49:45.660 These things are not against the people of these nations, the good, hardworking people that are
00:49:49.780 just trying to make it in their way. It's the governments that are corrupt and I think predatory
00:49:54.780 and they work with U.S. importers and a lot of those importers are very crafty and orchestrate
00:50:00.720 the same kind of behavior. The second thing we're going to testify about and they facilitate that
00:50:06.740 behavior on the backs of the American middle class worker under unfair tactics, not fair competition.
00:50:13.560 We can take that, but unfair tactics. And the second item we're going to talk about today,
00:50:18.160 Steve, or we did last week, is poverty labor, the slave-type labor, the forced-type labor.
00:50:26.760 And many of these things have the black and white, it's forced labor, and then kind of the quasi
00:50:31.580 forced labor manipulation that goes on to really ultimately create an economic platform that isn't
00:50:39.100 born of capitalism or free and fair competition, but harvest the fruits of capitalism in free and
00:50:45.480 competition. So that's what the game is. The president understands this. I don't know why
00:50:50.860 he does, but he always has. As you know, Steve, he's surrounded himself with great people that do
00:50:55.940 too, like Scott Besson, as you mentioned, and Jameson Greer. But he understands the way this
00:51:01.700 is manipulated, and it's not as if U.S. manufacturers are looking for protection or
00:51:07.340 any of that nature. I don't even believe in Buy American because it's American. I tell people
00:51:12.080 that's kind of un-American. We want to buy American when it earns itself in a free and
00:51:17.000 fair marketplace and competition that is on a level playing field. So that's what we're trying
00:51:23.060 to do in these hearings. I thought the IEPA decision was pathetic. I don't know how you 0.97
00:51:28.320 can call a tariff a tax. It's a trade enforcement tool to get after the cheaters and the people that
00:51:34.120 hurt America. And it's something the administration needs and should have. It's a critical hammer
00:51:41.120 for bad actors and cheaters and people trying to harm our country.
00:51:45.300 And if it's a tax, then are all the tariffs they put on our country a tax on us?
00:51:50.860 Why isn't our government looking at that circumstance in that regard?
00:51:55.220 Marty, do you have a website?
00:51:56.460 We're going to stream your testimony today.
00:51:57.820 Do you have a website people can go to or social media?
00:52:02.260 Yeah, we have a website, cambriousa.com,
00:52:06.640 just our site for our work that we do and the customers we serve.
00:52:10.380 And on there, we have a section about trade policy because we want people to understand we want to we want to compete fairly against foreign workers and foreign companies in a fair and free manner, not to have any advantages.
00:52:23.360 And so we we have a site that talks about just that.
00:52:27.440 Thank you, brother. We'll send people there. We'll get a six o'clock hour breakdown, do the whole thing.
00:52:31.300 is the reason that, thank you, brother,
00:52:35.220 the entrepreneurs that drive this country.
00:52:39.100 And, of course, predatory is absolutely correct.
00:52:41.060 The Chinese Communist Party, the state-owned industries, 0.87
00:52:43.420 the excess capacity, horrible. 0.74
00:52:45.600 The Charlie Kirk Show is next.
00:52:47.200 Poso's after that.
00:52:48.240 Steve Gruber's after that on Real America Voice.
00:52:51.580 Real America's voice.
00:52:53.320 Then you got bowling.
00:52:54.460 I'll do a changeover tonight.
00:52:55.720 We're back at 5.
00:52:56.780 We will see you then when you'll be back in the war room.
00:52:59.540 Do you owe back taxes or you haven't filed your taxes in years?
00:53:05.420 Now is the time to resolve your tax matters.
00:53:08.580 With the national conversation around abolishing the income tax,
00:53:13.420 the IRS is fighting back and proving it's here to stay by becoming more aggressive than ever before.
00:53:19.880 They're sending out more collection notices, filing more tax liens, and collecting billions more in recent years.
00:53:26.740 If you owe, the IRS can garnish your wages, levy your bank accounts, seize your retirement, and even your home.
00:53:36.120 If you owe or haven't filed, it's not a question of if the IRS will act, it's a question of when it will act.
