00:00:29.000I wish in my soul, I wish that any of these people had a conscience.
00:00:34.560Ask yourself, what is my task and what is my purpose?
00:00:38.320If that answer is to save my country, this country will be saved.
00:00:44.540War Room. Here's your host, Stephen K. Bannon.
00:00:51.080Wednesday, 6th May, Year of Our Lord, 2026.
00:00:53.740We will be going back and updating what's happening in the situation in the Gulf and around the negotiating table, probably at the bottom of the hour.
00:01:06.620What did you mourn about the situation with Islam in higher education, and how has it played out, ma'am?
00:01:13.960We're in 2015, January, I believe it was January 15th, and you may remember that January 7th was when we had the Charley-Hepdo terrorist attack in France.0.83
00:01:29.160And so I warned that we needed to do better monitoring of Islamic organizations and that they posed a threat to us unless they accepted our Constitution and our way of life.
00:01:45.100It was an op-ed published in the Tennessean.1.00
00:01:48.880It was basically a career ender in the sense that I took early retirement from academia two years after it was published.
00:03:04.900What did you say that was so radical in the op-ed?0.91
00:03:08.380Remember, these attacks, these Islamic attacks on Western civilization is one of the principal reasons, folks, of Donald Trump's rise to power in his eventual victory.
00:03:20.680And we did take on ISIS in the first six months and eradicate the physical caliphate.0.96
00:03:25.000And President Trump, this is why we had the travel ban at the beginning.
00:03:29.200President Trump was absolutely adamant about stopping Islamic attacks.0.70
00:03:32.780And in his first term, there was never an attack, one of these Islamic radical attacks.0.56
00:03:38.500President Trump took care of business.
00:03:42.540Because this is one of the things we did in Texas.
00:03:44.400We gave people a permission structure to talk about Sharia law.0.57
00:03:48.480And this is why the proposition to prohibit Sharia law in the state of Texas got almost two million votes with no money in back of it, all word of mouth and just grassroots.
00:03:59.160What did you say in that op-ed in 2015, which is not that long ago, that was so radical that people would come and try to run you out of Vanderbilt University as a tenured professor, ma'am?
00:04:10.740Well, President Obama was the president at the time, and he was admitting, you know,
00:04:17.060large numbers of people from Islamic countries, and they were not being vetted.1.00
00:04:22.380And after the attack in Paris, I knew that we in America were at risk, too, that people that come1.00
00:04:29.620over here, they don't fundamentally change their worldview and their values just because they get
00:04:35.820on a plane or get on a boat or walk across a border. And what was controversial was that I
00:04:43.660said that Islam was not like other religions and that it posed a threat unless they adhered to our0.98
00:04:53.640values when it comes to free speech. And so that was pretty much the op-ed. And I mentioned, you
00:05:02.020know, again, that they were not like other religions. They were a threat to us. They needed1.00
00:05:06.160to be better monitored. And so the reaction was swift. There was a protest almost immediately of
00:05:15.560my bigotry and my hatred. And students were sent emails telling them if they needed counseling,
00:05:25.000I'm talking about the whole student body, because of this terrible thing that had happened to their
00:05:29.820community. And it was a time that I returned one semester to teach after that, but then later I
00:05:38.640decided to take early retirement. And I can tell you that I did not, I got, it increased my
00:05:46.640visibility. You probably would never have heard of me if that hadn't happened. It increased my
00:05:51.700visibility, but it also was a dark period in my life because the only thing I knew how to do was
00:05:59.780to be a university professor that was my identity and i gave that up 11 years on and you see what's
00:06:08.560happening in texas i mean we shifted the entire show down there because we realized that you've0.90
00:06:13.400got to stop this islamic invasion of texas and the way you do it is focus on sharia law0.92
00:06:17.84010 years on as you look out as universities across the country as you look at how they become hot0.92
00:06:23.800beds of radicalism, but particularly pushing Sharia law and pushing Islamic supremacism.
00:06:30.420What are your thoughts today, 10 years after your event?
00:06:34.820Well, I mean, it's not just the universities.
00:06:37.140If you look at our members of Congress, a lot of our leaders, because they're being
00:06:41.580funded by people that have an interest in advancing Sharia, they're not really representing0.89
00:07:16.280And that is placing everyone else at risk.
00:07:19.200And I know as someone steeped in the Constitution that we have freedom of religion, that includes all religions, and that all religions under our Constitution have to be treated fairly and equally.1.00
00:07:32.460But what I see happening with Islam is that they don't play by those rules.1.00
00:07:40.600But in many ways, the leaders, their leaders who have an agenda, who have said that their flag will fly over the White House, they are not interested in religion in the same way that we are.
00:07:54.040I see it as more political than anything else.
00:07:57.200And I think too many people are asleep at the wheel.
00:08:00.020uh dr swain where can people go to get your content you're going to be a major voice in this
00:08:06.300in this fight and you can see down in texas i keep saying telling folks they're getting more
00:08:10.840aggressive they're not getting less aggressive they're getting more aggressive what they've done
00:08:14.780with this texas a&m or this texas a.m just shows you how in your face uh they're going to be and
00:08:22.580so unless it's shut down it's not going to get shut down it's not going to metastasize like a
00:08:27.040cancer. So, Dr. Swain, where do people go to get all your content, including your books and your
00:08:31.640articles, your writings? Well, I'm active on X at Carol M. Swain, and this didn't happen overnight.
00:08:40.980This has been going on for a long time. They had a plan. The rest of us haven't had one.
00:08:46.840Amen. Dr. Carol Swain, good to have you on and brilliant analysis of what's happening.
00:10:48.800And so what you have starting really to pick up steam in 2017 is this engine of the left's cancel culture where these companies are essentially propping up the SPLC's smears against mainstream conservative and Christians.
00:11:10.940I mean, in 2017, you saw the start of the Change the Terms Coalition, where the Center
00:11:16.640for American Progress and Color of Change and a few other groups came alongside the
00:11:22.160SPLC and tried to convince big tech and corporate America to systematically blacklist conservatives.
00:11:29.760And yes, you know, the SPLC had followed the Ku Klux Klan and the Aryan Nations and many
00:11:35.200of these other groups in its history, and it still continued to monitor them. But the hate map
00:11:42.760started to include so many mainstream conservative and Christian groups that this was clearly a
00:11:48.300weapon. And what I saw looking into this, it was a weapon to demonize conservatives and cut us off
00:11:55.260from mainstream polite society. And it was also a really effective fundraising tool. And that's why,
00:12:02.920The book is Making Hate Pay the Corruption of the Southern Poverty Law Center because the SPLC inflates hate and goes to its donors and says, we are the number one opponent of hate in America.
00:12:19.220This is an incredibly lucrative fundraising strategy, and it has paid huge dividends for the SPLC.
00:12:27.860And so the more I looked into it, the worse everything got.
00:12:31.060I mean, I looked into the history of Morris Dees, who is the co-founder of the SPLC, a lot of really disgusting claims regarding sexual harassment at the SPLC under his leadership.
00:12:43.700And ultimately, those claims led in 2019 to the SPLC firing him and, you know, also claims of racial discrimination at the SPLC.
00:12:53.180They fired Dees, they brought in Tina Chen, who was Michelle Obama's chief of staff, to do an investigative review, and ultimately that review never saw the light of day.
00:13:05.340Pissed off employees at the SPLC actually formed a union to oppose the SPLC from within because they didn't trust leadership.
00:13:14.220And to this day, we have accusations of union busting and, you know, this complicated nature of the SPLC.
00:13:21.320I mean, you almost can't make up the idea that you would have a nonprofit where people work because they ostensibly believe in the mission, forming a union, which creates a battle between, you know, an institutionalized battle between leadership who have the vision for this organization and the employees who are, by joining a union, essentially saying, we want to make a buck and we don't trust leadership.
00:13:48.980That's a horrible position for a nonprofit to be in. But when you have a nonprofit as corrupt and as wealthy as the SPLC, it really is arguably necessary. And even that union is not holding the SPLC to account.
00:14:45.000Get a free consultation, totally free.
00:14:47.220Normally costs hundreds, if not thousands of dollars to find out exactly what your position is, how much you owe, and when you owe it to the IRS.
00:19:54.720And look, I don't know whether the information is true or not.
00:19:57.800It seems very convenient for the Democrats.
00:20:00.680But, you know, regardless of whether it's true that the indictment was rushed, the indictment still is extremely strong if they have in black and white the SPLC lying to the bank, which they do.
00:20:15.280The SPLC has been defending their program that they say were informants, not just field sources.
00:20:22.680You know, that has to be fully litigated.
00:20:25.000But the one thing the SPLC has not denied is those specific statements to the bank in black and white.
00:20:33.020And if the entire indictment was just those statements, that indictment would be ready to print.
00:20:40.780So the notion that the DOJ rushed this, that this is a sloppy job, I don't think it passes muster.
00:20:50.100What should we be looking for in this?
00:20:52.040This is one I tell people, we're going on offense on redistricting, we're on offense against AI, or at least to make sure that AI is appropriately reviewed and monitored.
00:21:03.820We got a great hit by Scott Besson that we'll put up in a little while.
00:21:07.380Also about the Chinese Communist Party, us stopping funding the Chinese Communist Party advances in AI.
00:21:12.980But this is another one we have to be talking about the deep state.
00:21:16.380Yes, you got Brennan, you got Comey, you got these actors, but it's an institutional thing.
00:21:20.460But this is the Southern Poverty Law Center is the railhead of so many of the operations.
00:21:26.460And now, with almost $800 million, there's been a bank for this.
00:21:30.640And so the takedown of this in criminal charges brought, and not just that, to board members, to the George Clooney's of the world, everybody associated with this that knew what was going on, it has to be pursued aggressively.
00:21:43.420So what's the next things we should be looking for, Tyler?
00:21:45.680Yeah, we should be following the case as I'm always looking whenever there's a new filing in this indictment, in this case, the SPLC is trying to get the grand jury materials released, but that's not the way that this process usually goes and the government had a strong response to that.
00:22:06.240I want to mention, you know, the reason I think the deep state is involved here is because the SPLC had its tentacles really far deep into the Biden administration, particularly in the DOJ, in the civil rights division, and in other places.
00:22:21.300SPLC people were, they were training prosecutors, federal prosecutors.
00:22:27.160You cannot make this up, going and briefing federal prosecutors on the anti-LGBTQ movement.
00:22:33.400This is the SPLC's word for if you're a conservative Christian, they're putting you on the hate
00:23:25.560Many of the SPLC's allies are cited by Anthropic as good sources on combating extremism and terrorism.
00:23:35.020So when you talk about AI, the threat of this anti-Christian bias is in AI, too.
00:23:42.080And we cannot take our eyes off the ball.
00:23:44.640We have to be aggressive on this and on offense.
00:23:47.700And I will be exposing as much of it as I possibly can.
00:23:51.260But there is always more to tell in this story, and hopefully this indictment will lead to some serious convictions and expose even more of the SPLC's horrific corruption.
00:24:04.980Tyler, where do people get you over The Daily Signal and where they get you on social media?
00:40:58.640Bush waived more safeguard awards that our Trade Commission gave to American companies in favor of China and other Pacific Rim companies than any president I can recall or have read about.
00:41:11.140But that status gave them all kinds of access to our markets.
00:41:15.460Subsequent to that, we lost four million U.S. manufacturing jobs.
00:41:21.120And and and Bush orchestrated it. He they made a big mistake, Steve.
00:41:25.920They said, well, we're going to we're going to westernize China in the Pacific Rim.
00:41:31.160A noble thought and a hope, but it didn't work and it didn't work in big ways.
00:41:36.360In fact, it's been a catastrophe. And not only did China not westernize, they doubled down in the other direction and have used the condition of the most favored nation in the WTO to basically work at their whim.0.55
00:41:50.420to, as I said, predatorily hijack U.S. manufacturers that are having success
00:41:56.180in this marketplace. They don't have a middle class with the prosperity of the United States.
00:42:01.760In our case, we're in the building products industry. It's the darling in the world for
00:42:06.680building products industries, home building, commercial building, and so forth. So they very
00:42:11.320much have a keen eye on it throughout the Pacific Rim into the United States. And the frustrating
00:42:17.560part of Bush, he attacks the president instead of tipping his hat and saying, you know, we got it
00:42:24.560wrong. We just got it wrong on the westernization of communist China. And thank you, Mr. President,
00:42:32.160President Trump, for intervening and doing the tough work of unpacking what we did just a short
00:42:38.16025 years ago that they did it and supporting the president, including Summers as well. But Bush
00:42:46.060in particular, caused this. He's been, I think, one of the biggest damaging effects of a presidency
00:42:54.360in the past 50 years, as it relates to U.S. manufacturers, has been what George Bush did
00:43:00.960in 2001, and then failed to do over the next seven years by enforcing the requirements of
00:43:08.920permanent status in the WTO and keep China to meet the requirements of their entrance into that
00:43:17.900organization. Marty, hang on for one second. We're taking a short commercial break. Marty Davis on
00:43:23.880the other side. He's going to testify later today in front of the U.S.-based International Trade
00:43:31.440Commission, the ITC. Pretty explosive testimony. Predatory practices of governments to steal
00:43:38.220american jobs let's cut to the chase steal american jobs short break back in a moment
00:43:42.440fellow patriots the federal reserve has betrayed america for over a century
00:43:50.420printing fiat inflating away your savings serving globalist masters but president trump is ending
00:43:58.400it president trump is wielding a 112 year old law to reclaim control from the rogue federal
00:51:56.460We're going to stream your testimony today.
00:51:57.820Do you have a website people can go to or social media?
00:52:02.260Yeah, we have a website, cambriousa.com,
00:52:06.640just our site for our work that we do and the customers we serve.
00:52:10.380And on there, we have a section about trade policy because we want people to understand we want to we want to compete fairly against foreign workers and foreign companies in a fair and free manner, not to have any advantages.
00:52:23.360And so we we have a site that talks about just that.
00:52:27.440Thank you, brother. We'll send people there. We'll get a six o'clock hour breakdown, do the whole thing.
00:52:31.300is the reason that, thank you, brother,
00:52:35.220the entrepreneurs that drive this country.
00:52:39.100And, of course, predatory is absolutely correct.
00:52:41.060The Chinese Communist Party, the state-owned industries,0.87
