00:00:00.000 Look, we have to throw down, we have to throw down hard, and I don't care if people get upset about it.
00:00:06.060 We have to throw down, and in Florida, it's one of the great unreported stories.
00:00:09.880 What's happening in the Tampa area is every bit as bad as what's happening in areas of Houston and in north of Dallas-Fort Worth.
00:00:19.480 Yeah, and also other, Dearborn, Michigan, Minneapolis, Minnesota, New York City.
00:00:24.600 Steve, I know you get to take the show. I've been here for the last couple hours.
00:00:27.840 I didn't see what happened. Did we declare peace in the Mideast?
00:00:34.260 Well, I think people should go to Citizens Free Press. I think Cain's doing a great job.
00:00:38.460 President Trump spent two hours and then left. 0.66
00:00:41.280 And as I said on the morning show this morning, I think part of it is about the Mullahs are looking for President Trump to downstroke a $12 billion check. 0.58
00:00:49.640 I just don't see that happening.
00:00:50.900 Also, there's a report in Times of Israel in the New York Times that there's some part of this memorandum of understanding has a $300 billion reconstruction fund for the mullahs.
00:01:02.980 I just don't see – for people who are looking for an off-ramp, hey, let's wrap this thing up and go, if these are the types of terms, I just don't see President Trump agreeing to that.
00:01:12.520 I don't see him downstroking a $12 billion check.
00:01:14.840 I just don't see him giving him access to what they say is their cash.
00:01:17.960 And I certainly don't see President Trump agreeing to some $300 billion.
00:01:22.380 Now, it didn't say the U.S. was going to put in the money, but it had an investment structure for $300 billion of reconstruction.
00:01:29.360 I just don't see that happening.
00:01:30.940 So he spent a couple of hours.
00:01:32.640 I don't think anything's leaked out about it.
00:01:34.660 But President Trump is the master dealmaker.
00:01:39.460 He's got the fleet.
00:01:41.200 Remember, I was in the Strait of Hormuz in the Persian Gulf in the North Arabian Sea as a naval officer back when this thing all started, back in 79 and 80.
00:01:48.920 And I got to tell you, the United States Navy will always be there.
00:01:51.780 They can always blockade it.
00:01:52.940 So I just don't see President Trump.
00:01:54.840 I do not see him writing a check for $12 billion for permission for these guys to wind this thing down.
00:02:00.920 And I do not see him agreeing to a $300 billion reconstruction fund in any way, shape or form.
00:02:07.840 So I think, as I said this morning, I think we're pretty far apart of this.
00:02:11.200 all right folks i say thank you say big round of applause for steven caveman take the war room
00:02:18.000 thank you folks thank you to mike thank you guys thank you the crew that came out thank you to
00:02:23.060 everyone all right steven your show brother we'll see you tomorrow monday thank thank you guys see
00:02:31.040 you we're going to go right to our traditional cold open right in the war room let's go ahead
00:02:35.120 and let's go ahead and hit it.
00:02:38.740 Let's get a lay of the land.
00:02:40.400 Where are we?
00:02:41.760 We need to wait and see if he agrees on something
00:02:44.540 and when the text of that agreement appears,
00:02:47.320 this memorandum of understanding.
00:02:48.900 The president tweeted something earlier today
00:02:50.280 of Iran must agree they will never have a nuclear weapon.
00:02:53.360 Iran has made verbal promises
00:02:54.840 to never have a nuclear weapon for decades.
00:02:57.040 That's not new.
00:02:57.980 So there's a couple other things 0.51
00:02:59.720 about destroying Iran's enriched uranium.
00:03:02.100 That's been negotiated about before.
00:03:03.340 So I really don't know,
00:03:04.760 And I just want to flag, as you said, that I've never known a president who, in the middle of very sensitive negotiations like this, is sort of tweeting out things with new details.
00:03:15.660 And then we just already, colleagues that are here, notice on the desk, an Iranian state news agency sort of immediately tweeted out something saying, well, what Trump is claiming is wrong.
00:03:24.780 But we don't know, and this just isn't the way any past president has tried to reach a very complicated ceasefire agreement.
00:03:34.760 Yeah, it just raises the question about whether this is a political move, if this is how he thinks negotiation works.
00:03:42.720 So far, though, this negotiation has not worked.
00:03:46.400 Yes, in my general look at what was described yesterday from some U.S. officials we talked to, and Axios had some details,
00:03:53.500 this agreement, as described so far, is a win for Iran.
00:03:56.500 There's about four things that they're getting their way on.
00:03:59.200 There's no nuclear negotiations right now at all.
00:04:02.160 That'll be in a separate Toronto negotiations in 60 days.
00:04:05.060 There's no mention of missiles.
00:04:06.320 There's no mentions of Iran proxies. 0.91
00:04:07.840 Those are big wins for Iran.
00:04:09.400 The win for the Trump administration would be reopening the Strait of Hormuz.
00:04:12.320 Which was open before August started.
00:04:13.560 It was open before the war, exactly.
00:04:15.160 A lot of people would criticize the idea of loosening restrictions, David, on Iranian oil.
00:04:21.720 That's been the primary lever, the pressure point that the U.S. has maintained throughout all of this, aside from the kinetic action.
00:04:27.800 In your assessment, does the U.S. have any more leverage to pressure Iran to come to play when it comes to specifically their nuclear program?
00:04:38.200 Well, the leverage it has is that it can threaten to go back to war and resume kinetic action.
00:04:45.400 Iran is pretty battered. It's still in the field, but it's taken a beating militarily.
00:04:51.200 I think there are just a couple of points that I would underline.
00:04:58.640 This war has taught us again the limits of U.S. military power, especially from the air, in compelling political solutions.
00:05:08.300 It didn't work in Iraq, Afghanistan.
00:05:12.720 It did work in Venezuela in a quick, basic kidnapping operation.
00:05:16.680 But it didn't work in Iran.
00:05:18.660 And I hope the administration will focus on that, understand the lesson.
00:05:24.720 The second thing that's clear to me, looking at this deal and all the others that Trump has tried to do, is that there's a lack of follow-through.
00:05:34.560 They had a ceasefire agreement in Gaza last year that had a lot of good elements to it, and nothing has happened with it.
00:05:43.380 So it seems possible to me that this Iran deal will be stillborn, the strait will reopen, the immediate pressure on the global economy will diminish, but the fundamentals won't change.
00:05:57.060 The big ideas that I've heard administration officials express about working with Iran and other Gulf countries toward a different kind of Middle East, I mean, they do think big about those ideas.
00:06:08.820 With that follow-through, those are going to go nowhere.
00:06:11.480 Are you clear on where the president stands on whether we need to get the uranium back?
00:06:16.540 No, I mean, it's impossible to be clear about that.
00:06:19.420 He says, I don't care about it.
00:06:21.540 Then I care about it.
00:06:22.440 We're going to get it.
00:06:23.080 We're not going to get it.
00:06:24.040 But we've also heard that the nuclear facilities, it was obliterated.
00:06:28.560 They said that last summer.
00:06:30.440 And it clearly wasn't since they had to go in again.
00:06:33.700 So whether they go in and get the enriched uranium or, as he calls it, the nuclear dust, we just don't know.
00:06:39.540 and said today, I think it was, that the US would be doing that. How's that going to work? How are
00:06:46.840 we going to protect anybody from the US who goes in there? I assume they can do contractors and
00:06:50.820 things. But I think it is not a deal until we see a deal. And I think the thing that's really
00:06:56.640 unusual about this administration is most negotiations in the past, or we're going to
00:07:01.580 make a deal, they go in and they already have one set, right? There's just like two little tiny
00:07:06.460 things that aren't aren't super controversial and then you come out you have a deal but but we've
00:07:11.180 seen things happen with this president where he'll go and not get a deal i mean kim jong-un in the
00:07:17.140 first in the first administration they walked out of that that that rarely ever happens that you
00:07:22.020 walk out of a deal when you've sent the president or the vice president in pakistan that didn't last
00:07:26.600 very long i i do think those were serious negotiations i i was over there but again
00:07:32.740 no deal walked away after after a certain time they keep sending in these senior people and they haven't yet made a deal on
00:07:41.720 This is the primal scream of a dying regime
00:07:46.720 Pray for our enemies
00:07:48.720 Because we're going to medieval on these people
00:07:51.680 Here's one time I got a free shot all these networks lying
00:07:55.180 About the people the people have had a belly full of it
00:07:57.840 I know you don't like hearing that. I know you try to do everything the world to stop that
00:08:01.420 But you're not going to stop it. It's going to happen.
00:08:03.640 And where do people like that go to share the big line?
00:08:07.040 MAGA Media.
00:08:08.380 I wish in my soul, I wish that any of these people had a conscience.
00:08:13.780 Ask yourself, what is my task and what is my purpose?
00:08:17.580 If that answer is to save my country, this country will be saved.
00:08:23.780 War Room. Here's your host, Stephen K. Band.
00:08:31.420 It's Friday, 29 May in the year of our Lord, 2026.
00:08:35.540 Thank you for joining us on the late afternoon, early evening edition of The War Room on a Friday.
00:08:42.140 The Friday shows and, of course, my beloved Saturday morning are my favorite shows of the week.
00:08:48.340 So and I want to give a shout out to Citizen Kane, Kane over Citizens Free Press.
00:08:53.420 Just go there. He's doing a great job of putting up all the headlines.
00:08:56.040 This is kind of you're basically involved in the negotiation process.
00:09:01.420 right here president trump as we left uh the morning show i read you president trump put out
00:09:08.280 a truth social and he went into the situation room that was widely reported uh there was a
00:09:14.640 several hour meeting thing he spent a couple hours in the situation room and then left uh there's
00:09:20.200 no deal there's supposedly by news reports as i said i don't know if we have that clip but i said
00:09:25.220 this morning i just don't see president trump at least as i know him i don't see president trump
00:09:31.860 agreeing to you know let these guys have access to or pay them or have money for them for
00:09:38.700 you know 12 billion dollars down front to downstroke a check just to get permission
00:09:43.580 just yeah just to get permission of uh of doing that i i just don't see it there's this whole
00:09:49.260 thing of 25 billion dollars or 30 billion dollars and 12 billion will be on a downstroke i just i
00:09:54.120 I don't see that. Then the Times of Israel, the New York Times, it's at the top of Citizens Free
00:10:00.640 Press. Just click on that. You want your head to blow up. There's part of this memorandum,
00:10:05.160 which no one's really seen, or if they have seen it, they've seen pieces of it.
00:10:10.340 And John Solomon says, what you're seeing in the press and the media is not what's actually
00:10:14.280 happening in the room. So let's take John and put a pin in it, and hopefully that's happening. But
00:10:17.920 they reported a 300 billion dollar reconstruction fund now didn't say who was going to fund it and
00:10:24.660 apply the united states was not but some or at least not all of it but some type of reconstruction
00:10:29.200 fund to that feels like smells like reparations for the reconstruction of their country this is
00:10:37.420 one of the big hang-ups remember we had in ukraine with with the the deficits we have
00:10:43.760 the almost 40 trillion dollars of debt having to refinance it the problems we got in debt now
00:10:49.160 the american huge story think of the wall street journal day american credit cards are like
00:10:53.760 approaching 1.3 trillion dollars a big percentage of that are not um are um are not active they're
00:11:03.700 in default already americans are up to their up to their eyeballs in debt and this debt's getting
00:11:09.840 more expensive. The Treasury is going to have a tough time rolling over this debt and refinancing.
00:11:14.060 They'll get it done. But I believe they'll get it done at higher rates.
00:11:18.280 It's not the time to be talking about reconstruction
00:11:20.700 in Ukraine or
00:11:25.540 Gaza or in
00:11:28.540 Tehran. Oh, Steve, that's just the thing they're going to put in there and other people are going to fund it.
00:11:35.340 But then take it out and make it something else.
00:11:37.860 say, hey, you know, subject to all this getting done,
00:11:42.100 you can talk to the Qatar and the Turks
00:11:46.060 and the Saudis about doing a reconstruction fund.
00:11:49.400 It can't be part of this.
00:11:52.320 As I said, the whole ceasefire extension
00:11:55.500 in this little memorandum of understanding
00:11:57.160 is now taking on a life of its own,
00:11:58.640 not even talking about the deeper issues
00:12:00.260 you've got to sort out 60 days from now.
00:12:03.560 But this is how the Persians negotiate.
00:12:05.300 folks i i get to have you spent a couple hours in the situation room and they came out without a
00:12:12.060 resolution and all the and it's been very tight there have been a lot of leaks but what you're
00:12:16.780 hearing is things about financial payments to uh the mullahs and to the you know whatever's left
00:12:25.080 of the ayatollah sun into this um into this uh you know group of new military commanders
00:12:32.620 for the Revolutionary Guard.
00:12:36.400 I think it's going to be tough, even for people,
00:12:40.680 and I say this, the Mark Levins of the world,
00:12:42.340 the Lindsey Grahams, the Ted Cruz,
00:12:43.580 who have advocated regime change,
00:12:45.940 have agreed with Netanyahu,
00:12:47.960 and they've been very upfront about it.
00:12:49.240 They're not hiding it now.
00:12:50.680 They're very upfront about it.
00:12:51.640 You have to do this.
00:12:53.360 To make this kind of deal, they will argue,
00:12:56.480 and they will have some justification
00:13:01.780 that you didn't get people like you got in venezuela you have people like you've got in
00:13:07.740 north korea that are still there and you're underwriting them also lift lifting the sanctions
00:13:14.700 the economic warfare part of this was working that all gets back to back in the fleet off
00:13:20.440 her of her moves and from the north arabian sea for the naval blockade so the president has a lot
00:13:25.140 of tough decisions to make but if the iranians and it seems like the iranians are not being
00:13:31.860 particularly cooperative at least of what we're seeing john solomon says different inside folks
00:13:38.220 i don't know we may be going back to the sunday shows i i just think at some point in time president
00:13:42.480 trump's going to say okay let's start talking about the kinetic alternatives i just don't see
00:13:47.600 president trump downstroking a 12 billion dollar check for the pleasure of dealing with these guys
00:13:55.060 And I hear that that's one of the hangups.
00:13:56.540 They want cash.
00:13:57.200 They need cash now because they're broke.
00:13:59.800 Of course they're broke.
00:14:00.820 We've been in economic war with them, and we hit them militarily.
00:14:03.620 But I'm just saying, for those of us who want an off-ramp and to wrap this thing up and go,
00:14:09.820 I think the conditions are, they're making it too tough.
00:14:14.620 Now, Trita said today, hey, they know their country is financially collapsing.
00:14:17.800 The GDP is going to drop 10%.
00:14:19.240 A 10% drop in GDP is a big deal.
00:14:22.900 That being said, they're not negotiating it like that.
00:14:25.880 At least it doesn't seem like it.
00:14:27.020 And I've also seen President Trump underwriting this regime.
00:14:31.980 We're going to take a short commercial break.
00:14:34.540 Now that the war is winding down, Ben Burquam brought up a good point to me the other day.
00:14:38.520 He says, hey, with this war winding down somehow, the left's got to get something else,
00:14:42.260 and they're going to go back to ICE, and they're going to go back to ICE facilities.
00:14:45.820 The situation in New Jersey is untenable, not acceptable.
00:14:51.040 Ben Burquam is going to join us in a moment.
00:14:54.240 Edward Dowd is going to join us about the Chinese Communist Party and their finances.
00:14:59.880 The dollar's convertibility into gold ended in 1971.
00:15:04.320 Gold was fixed at $35 an ounce.
00:15:07.740 Well, fast forward to today, and the U.S. dollar has lost over 85% of its purchasing power.
00:15:14.300 Gold, on the other hand, is increased in value by over 12,000%.
00:15:20.120 That's why central banks are buying gold at record levels.
00:15:23.260 That's why major firms like Vanguard and BlackRock hold significant positions in gold.
00:15:29.520 And that's why I encourage you to consider diversifying your savings with physical gold from Birch Gold Group.
00:15:36.860 But it starts with education.
00:15:38.420 Birch Gold just announced their Learn and Earn Precious Metals event.
00:15:43.220 This free online event rewards you for learning the basics of investing in precious metals.
00:15:47.800 Sign up to get a free silver on your next purchase.
00:15:51.640 Get even larger incentives as you go.
00:15:54.300 The more you learn, the more you can earn.
00:15:56.960 But you must act now, as this special event only runs through April 30th.
00:16:02.300 The dollar lost its anchor in 1971.
00:16:06.380 You don't have to lose yours.
00:16:08.640 Text my name, Bannon, B-A-N-N-O-N, to the number 989898
00:16:12.800 9898 to join birch gold's learn and earn precious metals event by april 30th text bannon b-a-n-n-o-n
00:16:20.880 to 989898 and do it today war room here's your host stephen k bannon
00:16:28.540 okay welcome back uh and everything that's been going on we have not this show has not been
00:16:36.600 on top of this ICE facility, and this is a big deal.
00:16:41.400 As Ben Berquam, well, first of all, I'm going to let Ben Berquam speak for himself.
00:16:47.100 What we're going to do is just play, get you caught up a little bit on what's been going on,
00:16:51.000 and then we're going to bring on our own Ben Berquam to explain it all to you. 0.98
00:16:54.920 Let's go ahead and let her rip.
00:16:56.140 So since they won't respond and help protect the streets,
00:16:59.020 because we're not saying protect our building, we're saying protect the streets,
00:17:01.700 allow our employees to go in and out, allow these transfers to happen.
00:17:05.720 If they're not on it, then we got to prioritize federal police officers.
00:17:09.840 And that may affect international flights coming in and out of their airport, because I'm going to have to pull Custom and Border Protection officers out of being able to process international flights and put them helping our ICE agents.
00:17:25.980 That was Donald Trump's secretary of Homeland Security, a man named Mark Wayne Mullen.
00:17:30.500 attempting in that interview to justify what many people find to be an utterly crazy and nonsensical policy proposal
00:17:40.780 that he and the Trump administration have spent the week publicly road testing,
00:17:45.560 which is to potentially bar cities they deem sanctuary cities from accepting passengers from international flights into the United States,
00:17:55.220 as though the passengers on international flights have anything to do with anything.
00:17:59.580 Mark Wayne Mullen has threatened to pull resources from airports like Newark Liberty International in New Jersey
00:18:05.420 in response to what is happening outside of the Delaney Hall immigration detention facility.
00:18:10.900 What's happening there is that protesters and public officials have gathered
00:18:14.480 after multiple reports have emerged of inhumane conditions and an ongoing hunger strike inside.
00:18:20.480 Donald Trump's immigration agents have even barred New Jersey's governor, Mikey Sherrill,
00:18:25.140 from seeing what's taking place inside the facility in the state she runs.
00:18:30.240 We should note DHS denies these reports.
00:18:33.260 Hey, hey, hey, get off of it! Get off of it!
00:18:37.160 Get off of it! 1.00
00:18:40.560 Get off of it! 1.00
00:18:42.980 Get off of it!
00:18:55.140 Yeah, yeah, you're so mad about our first amendment.
00:19:14.060 What's your back?
00:19:25.140 The New Jersey leader is pushing back.
00:19:55.120 against ICE operations at Delaney Hall and yes we're about nice as I call it
00:20:00.640 nice the nice facility now I'd love to change the name calling this they do a
00:20:06.280 great job and it's all paid for protesters you know you can see by the
00:20:10.660 signs the signs are all made by the same beautiful factory it's a printing
00:20:14.200 plan in fact I'm thinking about using it they do such a nice job these aren't
00:20:18.640 protesters these people are fake they're all paid for we've seen over the past
00:20:23.860 four nights, continued interactions between ICE and protesters. We really
00:20:29.560 feel like adding ICE to this situation has made things less safe and we've seen
00:20:33.680 a surge now in ICE agents coming into the region which has given us a great
00:20:37.960 deal of concern. So right now we are working to make sure we get ICE out of
00:20:43.000 the situation, establish peaceful areas for protesters. We also had a protester
00:20:48.220 get hit by a vehicle which is why we last night took actions on the vehicles
00:20:51.880 and are working, again, to just create a much safer environment.
00:20:56.820 And we know from other states that that is not how ICE would take charge of the situation.
00:21:03.600 Because they are trying to force them to accept voluntary departure.
00:21:09.180 They are making the conditions so unbearable that they would rather go home to their own countries,
00:21:17.280 many of which they escaped because of terrible conditions,
00:21:21.160 And what they're realizing is the conditions in the United States of America are worse than the conditions in countries with dictators and fascist leaders.
00:21:34.280 Ben Burquam, you know this crowd better than anybody.
00:21:37.860 You've covered this better than anybody all over the country.
00:21:41.680 Why did this pop up over Memorial Day weekend, sir?
00:21:46.380 Yeah, in fact, some of the largest protests that we saw were on Memorial Day.
00:21:50.800 What a slap in the face to all of our veterans that paid the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom. 0.99
00:21:55.480 They paid the sacrifice so that's not for scumbags like this, the seditious, treasonous scumbags like this, 0.99
00:22:01.980 so that we could actually stand up and continue our liberty. 0.99
00:22:05.000 This is happening. It's telegraphed, Steve.
00:22:08.320 The war in Iran is winding down. They can see that.
00:22:11.960 And the perpetual outrage that the left needs, that's the only policy that they have right now,
00:22:17.760 is simply having to shift gears.
00:22:20.260 And so this is this is the next phase of that. And so just so everyone understands, as this continues, as we head towards the midterms, that's all they have. And so if this doesn't work, if they don't end up getting another Alex Preddy or Renee Good, which, by the way, the Democrats were the happiest about that, because then they could use them as the political pawns.
00:22:40.040 That's what they want. They want something like that to occur so they can blame ICE and then this can metastasize across America. But all you have to do is go into any of the Democratic Socialist pages. They're calling for more hands on deck. They're sending out messages to all of their communist comrades across America, trying to get them down there.
00:22:57.660 And the dog whistles from the Democrat politicians that are out there, that this is all set up to create that outrage, to create a situation where they justify more outrage simply to fill the gap, the void that they're losing now because Iran's winding down.
00:23:14.120 One way I know you're absolutely correct, because Nicole Wallace and MSMEC just this afternoon when I told producer Cameron, I said, we need to start focusing on this.
00:23:24.160 They're now putting it up all over.
00:23:25.560 The reason I know we need to focus on it, it's getting more and more violent.
00:23:29.580 Is there a lesson here for us, Ben, because the president trying to be magnanimous, you know, Bovino is now back in Yuma, I guess, getting ready to retire.
00:23:39.680 And we're huge Bovino fans.
00:23:41.660 We thought he did a fantastic job. Mullins has been pretty upfront in his confirmation hearings.
00:23:47.660 The mass deportations were not on the table. Right. They're going to look at criminal element, et cetera.
00:23:52.200 But is this a lesson for us that the mass deportations should continue, that this is really the policy President Trump ran on and won on?
00:24:01.040 This is what the American people want. And the left is going to go just as nuts when you're trying to work with them and you're holding out the olive branch.
00:24:08.120 they're just going to slap you in the face they're never going to work together to solve this problem
00:24:12.080 because they don't their entire business model is keeping the 20 million illegal alien invaders 0.97
00:24:18.420 in the country and allowing them to vote to get social services etc so there's there's no middle
00:24:24.240 ground here sir no there there's no we can't take the premise that the democrats have any desire
00:24:32.240 for any good solutions in america everything that they're doing is to undermine this country we've
00:24:37.060 seen it time and time and time again. And so I wouldn't offer any olive branch, just like I
00:24:42.500 wouldn't offer Iran an olive branch. And to that congressional representative's point, good. If 0.96
00:24:48.620 they're uncomfortable here and we're trying to push them towards self-deportation, good. We want
00:24:53.440 that. We want it to be uncomfortable for illegal aliens in America so that they stop coming. And 1.00
00:24:58.180 that's what President Trump did. The Democrats said the border couldn't be closed. They said
00:25:02.020 this is inherently a problem globally that we're just having to deal with. And we saw exactly what
00:25:08.680 happened on day one when President Trump stopped CBP-1. He said, you can't come in. They stopped
00:25:13.480 coming. Now, you still have illegals coming. You still have the cartels operating, trying to get 1.00
00:25:17.180 their drugs across. But the massive amount, 20 million, you're being conservative, I think,
00:25:21.640 when we talk about the total number, the universe of illegals in our nation, it could easily be
00:25:27.080 upwards of 50 million. When you add the millions that Joe Biden allowed in and the millions that
00:25:31.740 we're already here. We need to say no more. It's mass deportation. We're getting rid of all of
00:25:36.940 them. I wouldn't even threaten on shutting down international flights. They should just
00:25:40.420 immediately do that. Every international airport in America that's in a sanctuary jurisdiction
00:25:44.920 should be shut down today. We need to put pressure on these people. And as you said,
00:25:49.700 as Bovino, when we go into these places, if you act like a traitor and you get treated like a
00:25:54.880 traitor, we shouldn't back down at all. It should be all gas, no brakes. That's what the American
00:25:59.480 people voted for. You mentioned to me, you've talked about this has all the makings of when
00:26:06.580 you would go up and watch that one outpost in Portland, but the part of the country they're in
00:26:11.880 ain't Portland. This could get very dangerous. It could get very dangerous for ICE officers
00:26:17.140 pretty quickly. Ben Berquam, your thoughts on that? Yeah, these, well, and you mentioned it,
00:26:22.760 this is the Red-Green Alliance. This is communists mixed with jihadists that have been incentivized 0.85
00:26:27.460 by radical leftist communities.
00:26:31.000 They haven't received the accountability that they deserve
00:26:35.080 and that they need to hold them accountable.
00:26:38.000 And we're heading towards that.
00:26:39.920 We have terrorists. 0.97
00:26:41.240 Antifa is a terrorist organization. 1.00
00:26:42.960 We clearly have it through the Muslim Brotherhood and CARE, 0.98
00:26:45.380 jihadist terrorist networks in our country. 0.99
00:26:48.080 That's what we're heading for.
00:26:49.280 We're heading towards terrorism on a scale that we haven't seen in America.
00:26:54.180 We've seen bits and pieces of it.
00:26:55.660 But look at what's happening in Europe right now.
00:26:57.460 Use that as a model. Look at what happens happens in Israel almost every day when you have the 0.86
00:27:02.240 Palestinian terrorists coming across. That is what we're heading for in America. And we've got to be 0.99
00:27:06.880 eyes wide open to that. I mean, that's what the left wants. They want civil war. It's the rules
00:27:11.160 for radicals. It's the only way to destroy this country. It's create mass chaos. And then you
00:27:15.640 rebuild it in the image that you want it. That's where we're heading if we don't get a grip on this
00:27:20.100 really quickly. Ben, social media, we got a big announcement about you with something we're
00:27:25.260 working on with hopefully next week uh where's social media how do people keep up with you sir

00:28:08.700 short commercial break the chinese communist party they kind of lectured president trump
00:28:13.620 You're the declining power. We're the rising power.
00:28:17.140 Ed Dowd says, yo, not so fast. Next in the War Room.
00:28:23.000 War Room. Here's your host, Stephen K. Vance.
00:28:28.160 Yeah, I want to make sure everybody knows what the federal judiciary is making a big deal about today is that they some judge came and stepped in.
00:28:37.240 You got to take Trump's name off. You can't put Trump's name onto the Kennedy Center.
00:28:41.640 And, oh, by the way, can't shut down for repairs, which it needs President Trump better than anybody else.
00:28:46.800 Can't shut down for repairs for two years.
00:28:48.880 So they're intruding in that.
00:28:50.920 President Trump just put up a true social.
00:28:53.140 If we can post that, he gives you what his his unexpurgated opinion about that.
00:29:01.000 Also, you know, a couple of the engine room people have brought up.
00:29:04.580 We said Ben said 50 million.
00:29:06.780 When I say 12 to 25 million, that is only we're talking about on Biden's watch.
00:29:14.280 I go with the government number of 12 to 13.
00:29:17.220 That's what they admit.
00:29:18.720 They admit that that number may be as high as 20 or 25 million.
00:29:23.740 President Trump has used 20 or 25 million and other people have, too.
00:29:27.060 That's just the four years on Biden's watch.
00:29:28.880 And I go, hey, look, we got a huge problem with before, but let's let's deal with that first.
00:29:34.380 Let's deal with this and the deportation of all of those.
00:29:38.140 Bovino, who we think is fantastic and did a great job, he was Border Patrol for years.
00:29:43.320 His number is $100 million, just to make sure that Ben's $50 million.
00:29:48.560 Bovino has said on many occasions, you're going to have to deport $100 million. 0.73
00:29:53.240 That is the number illegals you have from the beginning of this fiasco.
00:29:58.240 $100 million. 0.64
00:30:00.120 look the people that did this the corporatists the oligarchs the democratic party all the ngos
00:30:08.520 you can't love this country and allow that to happen you just can't you hate this country 0.94
00:30:13.440 you hate the citizens of this country you don't care about the future of this country
00:30:18.580 it's obvious whether it's 20 or million or 100 million but it's a massive problem this is why
00:30:26.120 I was saying. And now even the White House has this thing about they got the aliens among us.
00:30:31.940 Look, hey, hang on. I got it. You know, we got to get all the information about UFOs.
00:30:37.020 But we have it. I don't need I can't. There's only so many things you can take on at any one time.
00:30:41.960 You can't take on the aliens because I got to deal with illegal aliens.
00:30:45.560 And let's start with the what they admit is the 10 to 15 million that they brought in here. 0.99
00:30:51.040 They admit let's deal with those first. OK, that's more than the bad hombres.
00:30:55.820 That's a lot of people here.
00:30:56.780 We've got to deal with it.
00:30:57.720 We're not going to have a country.
00:30:59.740 And I understand it's not pleasant.
00:31:01.240 I understand they start yelling and they want to burn things down
00:31:03.760 and they want to hurt people, the protesters, the Marxist jihadists.
00:31:08.340 But listen, it's not going to happen.
00:31:10.180 This is not a debate.
00:31:12.420 You're not going to debate this one out.
00:31:14.020 That's why I say it's an unbridgeable gap.
00:31:17.660 Only people that keep political power.
00:31:21.620 And using that political power smartly when you have it.
00:31:26.540 So brother Ed Dowd joins us from Hawaii today, you know, giving analytics.
00:31:32.460 And Ed, you had a report out in January, but I got to ask you, I want to tee it up this way.
00:31:37.020 I want to frame it.
00:31:38.460 The president of the United States, commander in chief, and with everything going on, schleps over to Beijing to have a summit.
00:31:46.820 It's going to be this big, important summit.
00:31:48.200 And he brings these business leaders.
00:31:50.000 He's got, you know, Rubio and Besson, got the entire crew, Hexas with him, everybody.
00:31:55.540 And in the first big event they have at the Great Hall, they got, you know, 50 guys on each side.
00:32:04.220 The president starts with really magnanimous and saying, you know, she, we try to work together just, you know, as friendly as one can possibly get among world leaders.
00:32:15.040 Xi comes back immediately and starts talking and talks about this Thucydides trap, this construct from history that you have a declining power and a rising power, basically saying the United States is the declining power, China is the rising power, and saying we've got to avoid the Thucydides trap, which is the declining power elites get so upset that they take actions that cause a catastrophic war with the rising power.
00:32:42.760 and the rising power basically almost every time wins, replaces the declining power,
00:32:47.920 but it's catastrophic for both sides.
00:32:50.440 He's essentially saying that the United States and Trump, you know,
00:32:54.500 you had managed to climb before you got there, you have not been able to reverse it,
00:32:58.520 you're still in decline, and just get out of the way and don't do anything wild
00:33:04.000 so we have a catastrophic war. 0.57
00:33:07.040 You have taken a hard look at the Chinese economy.
00:33:11.120 What say you, sir?
00:33:13.760 Let's talk about this rising power scenario.
00:33:18.100 And all over the Twitterverse, people are saying China's overtaking the U.S., China's overtaking the U.S.
00:33:23.600 What do the numbers suggest?
00:33:25.820 Prior to 2020, China's GDP priced in U.S. dollars was 80 percent that of the U.S.
00:33:32.320 Since COVID and their real estate crisis and their demographic decline, their GDP priced in U.S. dollars is now 60 percent of the U.S.
00:33:42.760 Their 5% GDP growth since 2021, price in U.S. dollars, has been zero.
00:33:49.660 And we put out a report in January warning of they're now entering the acute phase of the crisis.
00:33:56.640 Permitting, housing permits and real estate permits collapsed 70%.
00:34:01.640 Now, they had some ongoing longer-lived projects, so construction in residential real estate had only dropped 20%.
00:34:08.660 But now the overall construction numbers, this is the overall construction numbers for the whole economy, started to decline in the fourth quarter of last year and in the first quarter of this year are now running at a year-over-year decline of 8%.
00:34:23.820 So this is now spreading to the rest of the economy.
00:34:26.880 The acute phase is coming.
00:34:28.620 They've extended and pretended as long as they can, and they have serious issues.
00:34:32.720 And I would say that the cities, well, I can't even pronounce it.
00:34:37.780 The trap that he suggested is the other way around.
00:34:40.840 We have the negotiating leverage.
00:34:43.400 They are in dire straits.
00:34:45.140 They have a population they need to keep employed.
00:34:48.060 We're hearing reports of the migrant workers that come in from the villages and the rural areas to go to the cities after Chinese New Year for the first time in a long time had to go home.
00:34:57.960 A lot of them, it's about 300 million migrant workers.
00:35:00.820 A lot of them couldn't find work and had to go home.
00:35:03.580 So they got a problem.
00:35:04.980 And I think a lot of what we saw when Trump went to China was posturing.
00:35:10.220 They're the one that's in crisis.
00:35:11.800 And we do need to work together because they're trying to dump their deflationary status.
00:35:18.020 They're the factory of the world.
00:35:19.380 They overbuilt all their investments are overbuilt. 0.91
00:35:24.280 And they're trying to export their way out of the problem, much like China did after its demographic decline.
00:35:29.000 uh japan did after its demographic decline japan though is one-tenth the size of china
00:35:35.140 and that's why we have trade wars going on and trump is is rightfully negotiating trade so they
00:35:41.540 don't dump all their deflationary goods on on the rest of the world so there is a crisis coming in
00:35:46.840 china and they need to work with us it's the other way around and we need we do need to work together 0.85
00:35:51.860 because uh they have a problem and it's only going to get worse and when when uh when their
00:35:56.740 population starts to go hungry uh they're gonna have to find a scapegoat so we need we need to
00:36:01.300 work together and uh i think i think trump and team have the negotiating leverage not the other
00:36:06.400 way around part of part of the to to back up what you're saying they dumped i think a hundred
00:36:12.660 billion dollars worth of goods into europe right that eviscerated the the middle market company
00:36:17.920 just eviscerated europe you've got a taste of how these guys will just will just dump um president
00:36:24.320 Trump has asked for years and people have asked for years that people that are not in the decoupling
00:36:30.020 school thought I'm a hardcore decouple, just a couple because they're trying to decouple as soon
00:36:35.400 as they have the technology ability to do it. Some of the people not decoupling said, hey,
00:36:40.140 China, you have to build your internal market. You just can't beggar thy neighbor by dumping
00:36:44.880 these goods everywhere. Just continue to manufacture them to try to take up capacity and then dump those
00:36:49.620 goods, by the way, all supported by state owned industries, dump those goods into international
00:36:54.700 markets and basically drive down wages and crush workers throughout the world. So people said,
00:37:00.580 hey, you've got to build a domestic market. They have tried now for 20 years. They can't seem to
00:37:05.260 do it. President Trump took, I think, 25 supplicants. You had Larry Fink, you had Steve
00:37:10.640 Schwartzman, you had Tim Apple, you had Musk, you had the whole crew over there. And all of them
00:37:15.880 said oh these guys are great and we want to build business here is china not when you take the hard
00:37:22.260 analysis of graham and other people that i know that you follow about investing is china technically
00:37:29.260 by what the west considers proper due diligence and fiduciary responsibility is china uninvestable
00:37:36.200 in sir uh well we would like that to change but they're not certainly investing in their
00:37:43.720 internal consumer market and that's evident by the uh the only thing that's keeping the lights
00:37:48.680 on for china is their export market and they really ramped that up to get them out of the 0.96
00:37:52.760 hole when the residential real estate crisis began so they they they're too big to do it
00:37:58.940 so they need they need to hang on but hang on but hang on but hang on when you talk about that we 0.76
00:38:02.920 talk about the export that's just beggar thy neighbor that they have crushed the european
00:38:07.840 And because we had tariffs, thank God Navarro and and and the trade ambassador showed up, the trades are with President Trump.
00:38:17.300 We hit him with tariffs. This is why they didn't dump everything over here.
00:38:20.780 They're trying to they try to have all these mechanisms causing a 30 billion dollar fund.
00:38:24.160 No, no, no. Get rid of all of it. They dumped they dumped 100 billion dollars of goods into into into Europe.
00:38:30.500 So they'll beggar thy neighbor in a second, but the world has to stop that and force them to build their own internal consumer market, correct?
00:38:40.780 Correct, and that's why these tariffs are very important and the right move long term. 0.82
00:38:45.240 They need to restructure their economy if they don't. 0.99
00:38:47.440 They're in deep doo-doo, and they're going to have internal strife.
00:38:52.120 They need to open up their markets and stop stealing their intellectual property.
00:38:56.460 If they want a serious internal consumption, they need to let us in and stop this beggar-than-neighbor nonsense.
00:39:05.440 They have a serious demographic decline that's really going to go until 2032.
00:39:10.180 It's only getting worse.
00:39:11.040 Hang on.
00:39:13.500 If they were – why do we need to step in?
00:39:17.160 I realize that's the argument.
00:39:18.440 That's why the 25 guys went over there.
00:39:20.280 Why do we care?
00:39:21.620 Isn't it better for us if they collapse?
00:39:23.600 And the way they collapse is keep high tariff barriers up, get Europe to join it and tell them, hey, you had every opportunity to build your domestic market.
00:39:30.520 The West, we don't have an obligation to come and bail out a murderous dictatorship. 0.84
00:39:36.180 Allow by nature, just like with the mullahs, bring them to their knees economically when you have the choice and then let the people let the people vote. 0.74
00:39:44.580 Forty thousand people got gunned down by the mullahs back in January because people were taken to the streets and millions to overthrow this regime.
00:39:52.160 And that's how the regime will eventually get overthrown, just like Lao Beijing will overthrow the Chinese Communist Party.
00:39:58.460 But you've got to give them some assistance, right?
00:40:00.860 You can't keep—right now, we're just in a constant bailout of the CCP, are we not?
00:40:07.560 Well, I think we should work with them because if their collapse happens too quick, they're going to go find a scapegoat, and that's a geopolitical problem.
00:40:16.780 And they might, you know, get more kinetic in their operations.
00:40:20.140 and I look towards Taiwan. I'm not saying we're going to go over there and bail them out.
00:40:24.920 The faster this happens, you're correct. It forces potentially a regime change, but
00:40:31.340 that would be very difficult to do. And the reason why they don't start their own internal
00:40:36.340 consumption economy is because the 7 million card-carrying red card members of the Chinese 0.97
00:40:42.460 Communist Party sit atop of this whole mercantile structure, and they would have to give up power 0.93
00:40:48.220 and wealth to do that. So one or two things is going to happen. They're going to collapse,
00:40:52.980 and we do nothing. But that'll have, unfortunately, ramifications globally for global growth.
00:40:57.780 And there could be a contagion effect back into our markets and financial markets. So
00:41:02.800 I'd rather see us work together. That doesn't mean we're going to bail them out. But certainly,
00:41:08.440 the way that Xi, you know, postured to Trump was, I think, wrong and much, yeah, I think it was
00:41:18.140 a smokescreen. We have all the leverage. We're the consumer of last resort in the world.
00:41:25.300 Hang on one second. I want to hold you through the break. The great Ed Dowd doing the analytics
00:41:29.800 for us, and we're going to give access to people. Ed's going to tell you how to get this report.
00:41:35.240 Birch Gold, end of the dollar empire.
00:41:37.300 Maybe now's time.
00:41:38.240 You immerse yourself in it.
00:41:39.380 All the information put out by Birch Gold is completely free,
00:41:43.020 and you have no obligation.
00:41:44.760 So if you get access to Philip Patrick and his team,
00:41:46.960 take advantage of it.
00:41:48.680 This is what we do with the sponsors here.
00:41:50.520 We say, hey, one of the requirements is people,
00:41:53.080 the Warren Posse has to get access to you if they have questions.
00:41:57.220 And all of our sponsors meet that.
00:41:59.120 And quite frankly, they love the Warren Posse
00:42:01.540 because you guys are very loyal customers as soon as you come on board.
00:42:04.200 and they provide their goods and services.
00:42:06.500 Philip Patrick loves interacting with and talking to members of the posse.
00:42:10.820 Take your phone and text Bannon, B-A-N-N-O-N, at 989898.
00:42:15.320 The ultimate guide for investing in gold and precious metals in the age of Trump.
00:42:20.440 Short break.
00:42:21.380 Ed Dale on the other side.
00:42:23.960 Here's your host, Stephen K. Bannon.
00:42:27.920 One of the reasons the CCP is so brutal in the way they run the deal,
00:42:33.480 and particularly their great fear of Christianity and Catholicism,
00:42:38.320 actually more in this regard, it's evangelical Christianity.
00:42:42.360 The Taiping Rebellion that took place just around the time of the American Civil War,
00:42:48.780 30 to 40 million dead in China back in the day when they probably had, I don't know, 150 million people.
00:42:57.840 Massive, still percentage-wise, the worst civil war in mankind's history. 0.99
00:43:01.260 was started because of evangelical Christianity 1.00
00:43:05.360 kind of picked up from the missionaries
00:43:06.800 and spread like a prairie fire through all of China. 0.99
00:43:10.800 It's one of the reasons they, 0.86
00:43:11.920 of all the things they're worried about,
00:43:14.560 evangelical Christianity is one of the things
00:43:16.440 that scares them the most. 1.00
00:43:18.740 For some reason, the Chinese people, 1.00
00:43:21.420 once you light a match, it tends to pick up 1.00
00:43:24.860 and it tends to burn pretty bright.
00:43:27.360 Talk about that tomorrow.
00:43:28.300 Brian Kennedy's going to be our guest.
00:43:29.560 Also, Eric Metaxas.
00:43:31.180 We've got a lot to cover tomorrow, and we're going to get to it all.
00:43:34.500 Plus, Tina Peters.
00:43:36.460 Ed Dowd, you've been doing great work.
00:43:38.840 I want people to know, first off, are we at peak?
00:43:41.980 Because they keep telling me, you know, they're a rising power.
00:43:43.900 They're going to do this.
00:43:44.640 They're going to do this.
00:43:46.080 Have we had peak China, or is China in the rearview mirror?
00:43:49.380 Where is China right now in the world of Ed Dowd?
00:43:53.180 Yeah, peak China is behind us. 0.96
00:43:56.600 They're in the rearview mirror. 0.91
00:43:57.820 They peaked out economically and demographically versus us GDP-wise pricing U.S. dollars in 2020. 0.52
00:44:05.820 And that's when their demographic decline really started to accelerate and the real estate market started falling apart.
00:44:11.500 And that's where they invested so much of their gold and treasure after the great financial crisis.
00:44:17.140 They have 20 years of supply.
00:44:19.160 So they're in the rearview mirror.
00:44:20.760 They're going to take decades of restructuring. 0.99
00:44:23.380 And they're going to try to export their way out of it, much like Japan did. 0.96
00:44:26.420 I also want to point out that, you know, I was in business school in 95, and people in 95 thought that China was still on the ascendancy. 0.99
00:44:35.420 We did a case study suggesting they weren't.
00:44:38.840 Most of the professors disagreed with us.
00:44:40.880 We still got an A, but I was using demographics and saying that Japan was in the rearview mirror, and that bore itself out.
00:44:48.020 So even after the peak has passed, people still think in their mind that China is ascending.
00:44:52.940 They are not.
00:44:53.460 I just want to take and make sure on the critical path, folks, take your number two pencil and put that 2020 that Ed Jowd just said.
00:45:02.200 Gosh, that's pretty close to 2019 when they tore up the when the Lighthizer deal that Navarre and Lighthizer had negotiated for one for two years, for two years, was there for approval in May of 2019.
00:45:15.340 2019 they rethought it said if we do this we'll always be at the beck and call of the foreign 0.90
00:45:23.000 devils and so we're not going to do it they tore it up and spit in our face shortly thereafter
00:45:28.000 because remember keep the timeline right president trump's economy in 2019 in this late summer fall
00:45:34.520 and winter to the christmas period on fire a golden age for the american worker 1.4 percent
00:45:42.580 inflation, right? Workers' wages, blue-collar wages growing faster than white-collar,
00:45:50.660 non-college graduates higher than college graduates, the convergence of his full-spectrum
00:45:55.080 energy dominance, his decisions on interest rates, growth, all of it hitting on all cylinders.
00:46:03.000 And then, lo and behold, in 2020, the very year that Ed Dowd says you can start to see their 0.92
00:46:09.900 decline they released the bioweapon from the wuhan lab yes that's another thing the war room has been 0.91
00:46:14.800 right on since day one remember we shifted one hour of the show back there was two hours of war 0.78
00:46:19.760 impeachment we shifted one hour of the show actually we're three hours one in the afternoon
00:46:25.820 we shifted one hour of the show the 11 to 12 we shifted i think on january 20th to wait for it 0.87
00:46:32.080 war room pandemic yes the chinese communist party released a bioweapon out of the wuhan lab
00:46:38.520 maybe inadvertently but a bioweapon came out and the rest is history no she you're not the rising 0.82
00:46:46.620 power and we're not the declining power we were a declining power by the elites and ruling class
00:46:51.500 around this country before president trump and guess what it ain't been perfect nothing is
00:46:55.800 perfect but one thing that he's done is stopped the elites in this country from forcing the managed
00:47:03.120 decline of this country uh ed dowd where do people go to get all your reports on this social media

00:48:09.040 else got so they could campaign to them, send them stuff, call them, email them. You know me,
00:48:14.740 Steve, I would have got out to each and every one of them. So we're hearing this. And then,
00:48:19.520 by the way, Bryce White just spoke and he brought the house down. That was a big,
00:48:24.700 huge applause but we uh it's really bad they don't want me to win this is what you know when
00:48:32.380 i have the only path to win when the people of minnesota uh want i'm highest in the polls
00:48:38.240 this guy just came up and he said and he's arguing with me and i said 1500 people should not be able
00:48:45.680 to choose our candidate and you make everybody drop out before the primary it just doesn't make
00:48:51.660 sense. So we're going to fight on. We're going to go tomorrow's the big day. I got to do the speech
00:48:56.120 and I'm going to let the, let the party have it of what the, how this is just wrong. And there's
00:49:01.400 only one pathway to win. We got to start campaigning against Amy Klobuchar right now.
