00:00:43.420The MOU that gave Iran half a trillion dollars is a nonstarter because they proved they couldn't even be bribed.
00:00:51.840but it's going to be very hard to fight out of this corner. Where are we? What do we do next?
00:01:00.680You can't really talk about their sacrifice without talking about where we are in this
00:01:05.780conflict. And I think we're at an inflection point here. You can see that the Trump administration
00:01:10.760is accelerating and expanding their strikes, now hitting military infrastructure, railways,
00:01:15.960bridges, that kind of thing, trying to really put economic pressure on the IRGC
00:01:20.740in the military there in Iran. The question is, is that going to be enough to force the Iranians
00:01:27.120to the table? And you have to remember that the folks that Mr. Whitcoff and Mr. Kushner are
00:01:31.820talking to are not the folks in charge of the drones and the missiles. The IRGC still runs all
00:01:37.180the military there in Iran. So it's going to be it's an open question whether this additional
00:01:41.940pressure is going to force them to the table. And if it doesn't, I can assure you that the U.S.
00:01:47.800military is preparing for even more expanded attacks and a return to what they would consider
00:01:52.740major combat operations. I don't think the president wants to go there. I don't think
00:01:57.620those who may be considered moderates in Iran want to go there. But I don't believe that the
00:02:02.040IRGC is particularly concerned about that at this point. That entire charade was when he released
00:02:08.660the documents that said two things. Number one, the Russians were trying to influence the campaign
00:02:14.240to help donald trump become elected president of the united states and number two that when
00:02:22.360enemies of america want to disrupt democracy what they do is they start spreading doubt
00:02:31.140about the fairness of elections again donald trump calling himself out i'm not saying
00:02:38.960he's an enemy of democracy i'm just a humble you know as you know a state school uh a dumb
00:02:48.020lawyer i'm saying in these documents contain intel assessments that if foreign powers want
00:02:57.560to undermine the united states confidence in democracy then what they will do first
00:03:03.820is they will try to undermine their confidence in fair and free elections,
00:03:08.080which is, of course, against all evidence what Donald Trump has been doing since 2020.
00:03:16.220So, Joe, this was an amazing spectacle, really, for people who didn't watch Thursday night.
00:03:23.820The president was really, you know, almost shouting.
00:03:28.120He was making the wildest charges about election fraud and deep state conspiracies.
00:03:35.440It's the kind of thing that you see online in, you know, very intense blogs and sites.
00:03:45.840But you don't hear that directly very often from the president.
00:03:49.380But he said, you know, if you want to check this out, go to WhiteHouse.gov and look at the intelligence documents that I've just declassified.
00:03:57.640So over the weekend, I took him at his work.
00:04:00.680And I thought, OK, I'm not doing anything else Saturday other than watching England massacre France.
00:04:12.080And it's extraordinary, Joe, that if you look over them carefully, they rebut almost everything that the president said.
00:04:19.440A key part of his case was the Chinese tried to defeat me, intentionally went out to defeat me in the 2020 election, which obviously he still can't get over.
00:04:29.580He can't believe that he lost. So it must have been the Chinese.
00:04:33.320And you look at the intelligence assessments that were produced, which he's, thank you very much, supplied.
00:04:39.500And you see that the consensus judgment of the intelligence community was precisely the opposite, that the Chinese did not decide to intervene to defeat Trump.
00:04:49.780They thought about it, but they decided against it.
00:04:52.080There were a few analysts who disagreed and thought the Chinese had done more, although not everything they could have.
00:04:59.780They were given separate space to make the argument.
00:05:02.280It was kind of a classic snapshot of how our intelligence community actually works.
00:05:06.780If this is a deep state, man, it moves at the speed of a snail.
00:05:12.560They go week after week debating sentence by sentence.
00:05:16.760So it couldn't have been more different from what the president was arguing.
00:05:20.580And I think it was wonderful, a weird way that he invited us all to look at the actual material.
00:05:26.600When he makes charges so often, we scramble to fact check them.
00:05:30.100In this case, the president provided the fact-checking glossary right there, WhiteHouse.gov.
00:05:35.840This has been one of the deadliest stretch of days since this war began almost four months ago,
00:05:41.160really ratcheting up the cost for Americans, but also deepening the quandary for President Trump.
00:05:46.280And the death toll does appear likely to rise.
00:05:49.020CENTCOM saying that it's still working to identify remains that were found at the site of that attack on Jordan.
00:05:55.940They say that two service members had been killed when they came under attack from Iranian missiles and drones.
00:06:03.980We also understand that there was an additional death in northern Iraq over the weekend when a service member was working at a controlled detonation of unexploded ordnance.
00:06:15.920Both of these incidents, I think, underscoring that Iran really does retain missile and drone capabilities that perhaps President Trump may have been underplaying over the last several months,
00:06:26.920but also seems to have the ability to evade U.S. air defense systems.
00:06:32.660It really comes amid escalating exchanges between the two countries,
00:06:36.360both sides going after increasingly sensitive targets, including civilian infrastructure.
00:06:42.300Last night, CENTCOM saying that it carried out the ninth straight consecutive night of attacks on Iran.
00:06:50.000And I also understand from U.S. officials that additional American firepower is heading to the region,
00:06:56.100including F-16 jets, F-35 jets, as well as additional aerial refueling tankers all now
00:07:05.080heading to the Middle East. It's all, I think, led to some anxieties as you see these increased
00:07:10.560in tax by the U.S. on southern Iran that perhaps President Trump could be preparing for some sort
00:07:17.380of ground invasion. And certainly the president is at something of a strategic crossroads here
00:07:22.260as he determines which way to go amid this escalating conflict with Iran.
00:07:28.760Of course, these deaths, I think, just reiterate that the U.S. doesn't actually need ground troops in Iran
00:07:34.940in order for positions in the region to be at heightened risks.
00:07:39.380Those troops that are arrayed across the Middle East are now coming under fire from Tehran.
00:07:45.820At the same time, you hear both sides not ruling out the prospect of diplomacy.
00:07:50.820You had Marco Rubio, the Secretary of State, say this morning that the door remains open with Iran for negotiations.
00:07:59.080He said Iran had communicated, quote, directly and through multiple channels that they were open to negotiations.
00:08:05.000You also heard the foreign minister from Iran, Abbas Aragachi, say that negotiations could begin, quote,
00:08:11.340when you have achieved reliable battlefield and strategic gains, suggesting that there could be efforts,
00:08:17.780even though they're sort of difficult to detect at the moment, that both sides are trying to find
00:08:22.180a way to draw down before this conflict escalates into something that neither side is able to
00:08:27.700contain. I'm not giving him the opportunity to resolve this. They're not opening this straight.
00:08:33.460He faces bad choices. You've sat with chairman, with presidents in the Situation Room. What kind
00:08:41.980of advice would you offer to a president who clearly feels he's just stuck in a terrible
00:08:47.720dilemma. The problem is largely in Tehran. The IRGC and the moderates, if you want to call them,
00:08:55.580are not communicating and not on the same page. And as you well know, David, the IRGC doesn't
00:09:01.300have perfect command and control over all their leaders in the field. And so the difficulty for
00:09:06.760President Trump is he's trying to manipulate this escalation in a way that, again, encourages the
00:09:13.660Iranis back to the table. You probably noticed, or maybe you haven't, in the press releases that
00:09:19.120CENTCOM is issuing, they're now putting in the hour at which the strikes are beginning,
00:09:23.840and they're adding in the hour at which the strikes are ending. That's unheard of. We never
00:09:27.900did that before. They're doing that as a message sending. I think that's what that's about. That's
00:09:32.900about trying to encourage the moderates to get the IRGC on board. That's what really needs to
00:09:37.600happen here, because until that happens, or until the Supreme Leader actually exerts some leadership
00:09:42.200over the IRGC and reigns them in, I really don't think the president has very good options here
00:09:47.340for an exit ramp. And I agree with you. He wants out of this. I think you can hear the
00:09:51.640Secretary Rubio yesterday talking about the door being open. I think they really do want to find
00:09:56.580a negotiated way out of here. And I applaud them for that. But until the Supreme Leader can get
00:10:01.700control over his own system, I just don't know how we get there. How long does that take?
00:10:05.760I mean, it could happen in a moment if the if the Supreme Leader decides to exert that kind of leadership or he's willing to push back on the IRGC.
00:10:15.860But I don't see any indication that he can do that. I mean, it could happen. It could happen relatively quickly.
00:10:20.880And I think they wanted to. You'll notice they're starting to reposition forces now.
00:10:26.080CENCOM is already starting to move extra aircraft in. They are getting ready for a return to what
00:10:30.720they consider major combat operations. And that could take this to a much wider war,
00:10:36.260escalate it in very dangerous ways in the region. And then finding an off-ramp is going to be near
00:10:41.000impossible. You think that once Donald Trump is gone, it's the end of MAGA? I don't know if it's
00:10:46.020the end of that sort of attitude. I mean, MAGA is the closest thing to the modern version of
00:10:52.220nazi party this is america's version it's the closest thing without the holocaust and all that
00:10:57.260stuff that sort of mindset that's what maggie is because most intelligent people or logical people
00:11:03.980when they get new information and if that information is is negative or not factual
00:11:09.500then they change their minds with oh well i wish i had known better and now that i have this
00:11:14.540information then i can readjust no matter what you the no matter how many facts and how much
00:11:21.660information you give them, you give them about this presidency, about the policies, they don't
00:11:27.980change their minds because they're really not voting for the price of eggs. They're voting for
00:11:34.460white supremacy. They're voting for power. They're voting to have a preeminent voice.
00:11:41.080They don't, they're afraid of, they've been co-opted by many people in the Republican Party
00:11:45.640and Donald Trump to think that their failures are due to something else, the other,
00:11:50.900the black person, the woman, the Latino, the immigrant, the migrant, that person is taking
00:11:56.900your job. That person is the reason that you don't have the financial or career success that
00:12:02.540you think that you should have. It's because of them. We want to take our country back.
00:12:07.320That's what MAGA is. Monday, 20 July, Year of the Lord, 2026. We're going to kick off the week.
00:12:14.300We've got Jim Rickards going to be here talking about the geopolitics of it all. John Solomon
00:12:18.640joins me. John, we're going to go to break here momentarily. I want to hold you through the break,
00:12:23.320but I'd like you to respond to David Ignatius. He's from the Langley Bugle, formerly known as
00:12:32.240Bezos, Amazon, Washington Post. He's really the comms department for the deep state.
00:12:39.780Addresses his charges that if you actually listen to the president's speech, which is the biggest
00:12:44.540attack on the deep state or government entity in the history of the country, but if you actually
00:12:48.980go to the receipts, the receipts tell a different story. Your thoughts? I used to work at the
00:12:56.740Washington Post, as you know. I scored quite a few front page articles when I was there, and a lot of
00:13:01.680David's colleagues used to call him David Ignoramus, not Ignatius, but Ignoramus, meaning he was
00:13:07.880ignorant. He would write whatever talking points would give him. So let me give you two examples
00:13:12.180before I address what he claims about President Trump, so you see the pattern. January 4th,
00:13:18.2602016, excuse me, January 4th, 2017, the FBI cleared Mike Flynn of all wrongdoing. They
00:13:23.180were going to close down the case. The next day, Barack Obama, January 5th, 2017, on the way out
00:13:28.360the door, has a meeting in the White House to figure out how they can trip up and hang an
00:13:33.740innocent Mike Flynn for something he didn't do. And seven days later, David Ignatius is the guy
00:13:40.720that gets the leak on a perfectly legal call
00:13:44.660between Mike Flynn and the Russian ambassador, Kislyak.
00:16:19.320Amazing spectacle, really, for people who didn't watch Thursday night.
00:16:25.500The president was really, you know, almost shouting.
00:16:30.000He was making the wildest charges about election fraud and deep state conspiracies.
00:16:36.960This is the kind of thing that you see online in, you know, very intense blogs and sites.
00:16:47.520But you don't hear that directly very often from the president.
00:16:50.820But he said, you know, if you want to check this out, go to WhiteHouse.gov and look at the intelligence documents that I've just declassified.
00:16:59.280So over the weekend, I took him at his work.
00:17:02.400And I thought, OK, I'm not doing anything else Saturday other than watching England massacre France.
00:17:13.760And it's extraordinary, Joe, that if you look over them carefully, they rebut almost everything that the president said.
00:17:21.500A key part of his case was the Chinese tried to defeat me, intentionally went out to defeat me in the 2020 election, which obviously he still can't get over.
00:17:31.160he can't believe that he lost so it must have been the chinese uh and you look at the intelligence
00:17:37.240assessments that were produced which he's thank you very much supplied and you see that the
00:17:42.680consensus judgment of the intelligence community was precisely the opposite that the chinese did
00:17:47.320not uh just decide to intervene to defeat trump they thought about it but they decided against
00:17:53.320it there were a few analysts they thought about it but they decided not to we've got two gray
00:19:22.800says that the president was lying, he's accusing the foreign intelligence agencies of lying. But
00:19:27.420I want to take ignoramus and morning snow job to a new place. Let's go to right where they belong.
00:19:33.900He's exactly right. If you read the 2020 assessments, absent the fact that what was
00:19:38.500removed from them, what wasn't in them, was the proof that China had hacked into and obtained
00:19:44.080the voter files. That's what they say. But the second you realize that what the president said
00:19:49.080and say in 2020, they kept this out of the 2020 assessments, but had they put it in, this would
00:19:54.420amount to election interference. I'm going to tell you today, under the definition of the
00:19:59.260intelligence committee's definition of election interference, President Trump for the first time
00:20:06.280proved that China interfered in the 2020 election. Now, it wasn't in the 2020 assessments. That was
00:20:12.780part of his story, but let me read it to you. Page three of the October 16th, 2020 NIC report does
00:20:18.380something that the intelligence community seldom does. It gives us the actual definition for
00:20:23.160election interference. By the way, a lot of the boobs in the media think that influence is a lesser
00:20:27.920charge and interference is a more serious charge. It's the other way around. Interference is only
00:20:32.540a part of election influence, which the intelligence community considers more serious.
00:20:36.660But I'm going to read you the definition because it's the first time in my 40 years of reporting
00:20:40.700I saw the intelligence community define it this way. Quote, election interference is a subset
00:20:45.900of election influence targeted at the technical aspects of the election, including voter
00:20:51.840registration. Just keep that pinned, casting and counting of ballots and reporting of results.
00:20:56.460The president, for the first time, provided evidence that China was targeting and successfully
00:21:02.280acquiring illicitly voter registration. The president actually proved election interference
00:21:08.380by this definition on Thursday. And David's right. In 2020, all those buddies at Langley and NSA,
00:21:14.340they suppress this from the report. Had this been in the report, they would have had to admit it.
00:21:20.740But Donald Trump put the evidence that was missing from those 2020 reports. David Ignatius has no
00:21:25.760response for it because he had to ignore this. He had to go on Morning Joe and ignore that level of
00:21:30.880detail to make his snow job case this morning. Also, this whole concept that you could buy
00:21:39.820commercially what you buy commercially cannot be actually manipulated it can be used for analytics
00:21:44.440but not manipulate the reason they hacked it the reason they have this whole special unit of of
00:21:49.620cyber hackers now coupled with ai as i warn people all the time is that they go to get the voter file
00:21:56.460so they can hack it so they can actually manipulate this why people in georgia show up and they go
00:22:01.160that's right i'm here to vote and they go well hang on you already voted and they go what do
00:22:04.140you talk about i didn't vote this is what the ccp does coupled with the 278 000 illegal aliens or
00:22:11.660uh aliens that are here non-citizens that are here that just in four states you notice uh
00:22:17.360morning joe never discusses those two aspects of this sir you can't you can't because the figures
00:22:22.720are too big for him to explain away uh let me get to a very important point about this i think it's
00:22:28.060it's essential for people to understand what the president laid out on Thursday night and its
00:22:33.820significance long term. Yes, you can buy election data. You're not allowed to use it to influence
00:22:39.980election. The second you do, you're actually violating the law. But more importantly, what
00:22:44.620you buy commercially is not what the Chinese got. Most states don't sell the date of birth.
00:22:49.200They don't sell the driver's license. They don't sell the social security number.
00:22:52.240They don't sell other personally identifiable information that the NSA and the CIA determined that China had on its hands.
00:22:59.700And by the way, in 2022, China confirmed that a C&E, that's an exploitation expert, it could be a person, it could be a whole unit, unclear to me, and that might be classified still, so I don't know.
00:23:11.080But whoever it was, they were directly hacking in and hacking the information.
00:23:15.880That tells you that they went and got the data that's not commercially available.
00:23:20.540That's exactly what happened in Great Britain in 24.
00:23:22.720And Joe Biden charged the Chinese actor in Great Britain for hacking.
00:23:27.560I wonder if the Trump Justice Department doesn't now go back and charge this C&E,
00:23:32.040this person or unit that was doing it in 2022.
00:23:34.660That would saw off the limb that all these silly media reporters are hanging on to this morning.
00:23:47.520And all of that constitutes and meets the definition of the intelligence community, what the intelligence community considers to be election interference.
00:23:56.720Donald Trump, for the first time, did what the intelligence community failed to do in 2020.
00:24:00.800He proved election interference by showing that China had targeted our voter registration data, just like that definition says.
00:24:21.300People don't realize the task force is a broad mandate on declassification.
00:24:26.080But just on this topic and at what point now they're talking about attaching the SAVE Act to a CR to force the Senate.
00:24:33.320I mean, I'm not saying they're gimmicks, but I realize a brand and the team over the White House are trying to look at every alternative on the SAVE America Act.
00:24:40.480But on those two things, directionally, where are you heading on this topic?
00:24:43.660Number two, what needs to be done now immediately to make sure they can't steal the 2026 midterms, which is their intention, sir?
00:24:54.600So first off, the release Thursday night caused more people to come forward to the task force and divulge new things that we're trying to get our hands on.
00:25:04.800And we're working very quickly to declassify that new evidence related to elections.
00:31:01.600No president in the history of this country.
00:31:03.040The closest it came, the closest it came was General Eisenhower, the supreme commander in Europe that had and then wrote the book Crusade in Europe about the ground war and I guess the air war too in Europe, particularly Northwest Europe in World War II, warned us about the military industrial complex.
00:31:26.240that gets played over and over again now. At the time, it kind of went over people's head,
00:31:31.920but he had seen it from the inside and warned about it. It's the first time a president
00:31:39.300from the White House had ever sat there and say, hey, here's a problem. You have, and just what I
00:31:46.260said, it's about who governs. Where's the center of gravity of sovereignty in this nation? Who
00:31:52.520governs president trump's address to the nation on thursday night was historic and will be looked
00:31:58.840at as historic now you have to take action after that um my recommendation on china is because
00:32:05.700we're the leaders of the anti-ccp movement in this country they should immediately pull all the
00:32:10.540uh all the visas for the kids coming here and study i mean we should do it for ai and you see
00:32:17.620right now that the white house the access has got a piece of that the white house is starting to i
00:32:23.980think listen to things we're saying about the ccp and what's happening with these artificial
00:32:29.340intelligence models and david sacks and the tech bros the broligarchs are all in a tizzy because
00:32:35.700they want it both ways they want to get the money for funding china and they want to have totally
00:32:40.180no regulation to do do what thou thou wilt in this the uh but you've got to face reality there's
00:32:47.780no messaging there's no surrogate program there's you know there's the war room there's a couple of
00:32:52.880others that are driving this but the what evidence is so overwhelming that it's got legs of its own
00:32:58.980but no official kind of response uh i think it's natalie allison at the washington post lead story
00:33:08.700if you go to the website, is a story about the official GOP response to President Trump's
00:33:15.780speech the other night. And they're hiding. And let me be very specific. She cites Whatley.
00:33:23.220Whatley had a campaign. This guy's down in the polling. I don't know. The public polling's
00:33:26.900going six, eight, nine down. I hear there's internal polling going worse than that. I can
00:33:31.660tell you, talking to many grassroots folks down in North Carolina, there's zero enthusiasm. Let
00:33:37.800me rephrase that there's less than zero uh enthusiasm for whatley he just hasn't initiated
00:33:44.520a spark because they say this guy's not really mad guy now he was put in there because of
00:33:48.580everything he had done on the election side in the rnc which was really nothing zero filing a
00:33:55.280bunch of lawsuits that you lose is not action and in that they tell whatley had i think i think he
00:34:01.240had an event on friday this is a guy that's way behind needs grassroots enthusiasm they did not
00:34:07.560mention once president trump's address let me repeat that a guy running for the senate in north
00:34:13.620carolina who is behind and everybody will admit behind and i think behind by a lot has a has a
00:34:21.740an event and does and talks about community safety all important things very important things
00:34:27.540but doesn't mention this the official response of the republican and this is the donors they
00:34:33.260don't want to talk about it what they want to talk about is affordability and economics i keep
00:34:37.320saying what do you mean talk about for it it's action people either know their lived experience
00:34:44.800and it's either getting more affordable and the more opportunities and things are turning
00:34:49.240you can't sell them on it you come out and talk every day about it it just it goes it's white
00:34:54.660noise it goes in one ear at the other because people's lived experience is going to inform them
00:34:59.100of what their beliefs are of uh of uh you know what the cost of living is
00:35:06.000and nothing the democrats can say can change that that people are not like i just don't believe
00:35:11.640people are are uh mesmerized or some it's been some sort of psyop so you have to talk about
00:35:20.020issues important the issues that are important we're going to get postal up in the next hour
00:35:23.860is who governs and what's the true nature of the enemy here now marco ruby and people are running
00:35:32.680around now and that you know there's a huge story in politico though you know it's all about they're
00:35:37.540going to scare them it's the scare them election because now you've got republicans jumping on and
00:35:42.160they don't know what they're doing they're running around oh my god the communist is going to come
00:35:45.280over take over tomorrow it's much deeper than that and more serious than that and you're not
00:35:50.560acting like you're serious people. Why are you not acting like you're serious people? Because
00:35:56.060you're not getting down to issues. To be competitive in a midterm election is about
00:36:05.800turning out your base in droves and also getting the lower information voters that are part of your
00:36:11.460base that maybe skips midterms to be enthusiastic. That comes from inspiring grassroots leaders.
00:36:18.540that comes from getting people fired up one of the top issues is the stealing of elections and
00:36:26.300you just put it out there that the 2020 election was stolen you just got to read the documents
00:36:31.780and connect the dots and this is why what pulte's done pulte should be
00:36:37.340kept his dni because i thought look i thought jay clayton was underwhelming in his performance
00:36:43.340the establishment republican party loved it they couldn't get enough of it i just don't think that
00:36:47.800jay clayton's going to make the change he's going to be confirmed and he's going to be the next dni
00:36:52.580it's just about when that happens and i think you make a very compelling case you need pulte
00:36:58.560is kind of the wingman you got a task force that's driving that's got people that are that
00:37:04.320are seeing you got pulte who just happens to be somebody who is um who has instincts
00:37:10.600for when you know stuff you can't coach he has instincts of what's right or wrong what he did
00:37:17.280at dni has never been done before and he did it in three and a half or four weeks and so not only
00:37:24.320is he a patriot i think he's put his life in jeopardy uh but he's just doing an amazing job
00:37:30.300i hope and and wish the president would keep him there for at least a while longer a while longer
00:37:36.320definition i don't know let me pick a random date how about through the midterm elections right
00:37:40.740and i think there's got to be messing on the on the information the president had a historical
00:37:46.740address i would put it in the top two or three addresses that the president has ever had for
00:37:52.480the gravitas of content and i would certainly like to see a uh i don't know a messaging plan
00:38:00.520a surrogate plan because we knew many people in the white house did not want him to do this i'd
00:38:05.860also ask why is the white house not at the tip of the spear uh for changes that have to be done
00:38:11.760in elections today what is holding up i think i know and once we know no because i don't know no
00:38:20.040but i know uh we'll be making some revelations on that okay let's pivot now and by the way garland
00:38:25.640favorito is going to be here so out in the hustings i've talked to all the people involved
00:38:30.060in all the different states i'm we're going to get jim hoffton his team up not this morning when
00:38:34.360we get hoffton his team up doing michigan garland's going to join us and others but garland today in
00:38:39.120Georgia. Let me pivot to. So Rickards, first off, Rickards, you're you're you're you kind of know
00:38:47.540these folks. You were there for a while. Your assessment of President Trump's address, the
00:38:52.420gravitas of it. And let me hear your feedback on David Ignatius, the comms director for the deep
00:38:58.080state for the Langley Bugle, sir. Yeah, I first agree with you that this was historic. You know,
00:39:05.740The revelations were very deep, very powerful.
00:39:08.760I think John Solomon did a great job of explaining it.
00:39:12.440And by the way, John Solomon always does great reporting, but there are these little nuggets that are even more valuable.
00:39:17.140When he said FTC, you know, light went on.
00:39:19.680I mean, I've done a lot of litigation.
00:39:22.360I've been up against all these agencies, you know, SEC, IRS, Treasury, FTC, or whatever.
00:39:27.940And a lot of them are constrained, meaning IRS is tough, SEC is tough, but they have rules.
00:39:32.860The FTC has one of the broadest mandates.
00:41:30.260The IRGC and the moderates, if you want to call them, are not communicating and not on the same page.
00:41:37.140And as you well know, David, the IRGC doesn't have perfect command and control over all their leaders in the field.
00:41:42.820And so the difficulty for President Trump is he's trying to manipulate this escalation in a way that, again, encourages the Iranians back to the table.
00:41:53.920You probably noticed, or maybe you haven't, in the press releases.
00:41:57.300As we've said, he shattered the command structure of IRGC.
00:42:02.580And you've gone down the food chain and they're actually more hardcore because obviously they have to impress their masters.
00:42:07.920We got about a minute on this side, Rickards.
00:42:10.400Your thoughts on Admiral Kirby, what he's talking about, and we'll hold you through the break.
00:42:15.660Yeah, I think Kirby's probably right about this division between the IRGC and now it's a younger crowd.
00:42:21.340They killed the 70-year-olds and the 60-year-olds, but they got a lot of 40-year-olds who were really post-revolution, meaning 1979, and really much more hardcore.
00:42:29.700So I think Kirby's right about the distinction, but my reaction is, so what?
00:42:37.400So the fact that there's another group out there is interesting data, but irrelevant because the IRGC is running the show.
00:42:44.320But then you're saying, OK, we're going to hold you through.
00:42:46.180I want your answer to this on the other side.
00:42:48.780What President Trump is trying to do for a diplomatic solution or negotiated solution is deal with moderates.
00:42:54.840And you're saying, although the command structure of the Revolutionary Guard may be shattered, they're still in charge because they control.
00:43:01.200They ultimately make decisions because it's a military police state, correct?
00:47:56.100So escalation has a short-term feel-good aspect, but it won't work.
00:47:59.960So when you go through all of that, what's left?
00:48:03.860Well, what we're going to do, in my view, is my estimate based on these analytical methods.
00:48:09.020we're going to take the HEU. We're going to go get the highly enriched uranium.
00:48:12.740Because if you do that, and by the way, that's a high cost exercise. I'm not
00:48:16.440making light of it. But if you do that, I call it Operation Aztec. The Aztecs used to rip the
00:48:21.820beating hearts out of their victims. You rip the HEU out of that, then who cares what Iran does next?
00:48:29.940But you're saying, hey, stand by, you're going to see a commando or Navy SEAL or Army Rangers,
00:48:34.640But somehow you're going to have actual combat troops, special forces in there to get to go to go collect it.
00:48:40.540But that would be that would be division level strength to have a security perimeter, Army Corps of Engineers, maybe the CBs, special operations, you know, air power.
00:48:51.660This is not this is not this is if we provide air power.
00:48:54.620This is not something America's greatest ally could do, which they noticeably have been kept out of this escalation of the war, sir.
00:49:02.160no israel doesn't have the u.s does and by i'm not saying it's low cost to what we casually i'm
00:49:08.320not even advocating it but i'm not an advocate i'm an analyst i'm i'm this is so this is what
00:49:13.500in my view is going to happen because it's the only thing that can happen that will end this
00:49:18.460and basically avoid a forever war the denuclearization part you've got a special
00:49:24.900people want to get your thinking you've got this newsletter that is kind of iconic right it's been
00:49:30.360a long time. Strategic intelligence, which is based upon predictive analytics. You've got a
00:49:36.140one-time good deal for the Warren Posse. In honor of the 250th and your staff who thought it up,
