Bannon's War Room - Episode 5527： Using Fear To Manipulate The Population

00:00:00.000 This is the primal scream of a dying regime.

00:00:07.700 Pray for our enemies, because we're going medieval on these people.

00:00:12.960 I got a free shot at all these networks lying about the people.

00:00:17.220 The people have had a belly full of it.

00:00:19.140 I know you don't like hearing that.

00:00:20.560 I know you try to do everything in the world to stop that,

00:00:22.320 but you're not going to stop it.

00:00:23.240 It's going to happen.

00:00:24.520 And where do people like that go to share the big lie?

00:00:27.920 Mega Media.

00:00:28.820 I wish in my soul, I wish that any of these people had a conscience.

00:00:34.700 Ask yourself, what is my task and what is my purpose?

00:00:38.480 If that answer is to save my country, this country will be saved.

00:00:44.860 War Room. Here's your host, Stephen K. Bannon.

00:00:50.180 It's Saturday, 18 July, Year of Our Lord, 2026.

00:00:53.100 Terry Schilling, I got Michael Pack on deck.

00:00:55.920 We're going to get to Michael in just a moment, the great filmmaker.

00:00:57.800 Terri, before I let you go, we spent the first part of the show talking about $300 trillion of global debt, from sovereign debt all the way to what you owe on your credit cards globally, and that we're heading towards a margin call, which is going to be catastrophic and lead us to a crisis.

00:01:18.980 Here in the United States, we are, you know, what, 40 trillion of debt.

00:01:23.360 The first nine months of this year, $1.4 trillion deficit spending.

00:01:26.740 It'll go up to two.

00:01:28.320 We're in a war that, you know, as much as I love Pete and these guys,

00:01:31.640 it keeps on these bills at Capitol Hill for $88 billion, $100 billion. 0.99

00:01:36.100 And, you know, the Arabs aren't writing a check.

00:01:37.980 President Trump proposed the other day a 20% spiff on everything coming out of the Persian Gulf,

00:01:44.460 which, hey, ain't perfect.

00:01:46.080 I'm for free navigation.

00:01:47.040 But when you're in a jam, you're in a jam. And he gets some phone calls from the Saudis and you say, well, we can't afford that. And the next thing you know, that's off. 0.92

00:01:57.100 One of the ways to turn this around, one of the basic building blocks is to get more stability is family formation.

00:02:04.340 Right now, family formation, you say, is in the late 30s. First time homebuyers are in the 40s.

00:02:08.820 that post-World War II and really throughout American history has been the backbone of the

00:02:14.360 country. Family formation, particularly in your young 20s, has been a backbone, has been a backbone

00:02:20.260 of the American economy. And now it's getting later and later. And the reason it's getting

00:02:26.280 later and later, let's face it, women are sitting there looking at guys. You have 12 million STEM 1.00

00:02:31.020 workers. They're not in the labor force because you have all these foreign workers here on H-1B 1.00

00:02:36.660 visas, working class blacks and Hispanics. You've got you flooded the zone with Bovino says 100 1.00

00:02:43.800 million illegal aliens. At least we know there's 20 million here from the Biden regime that they

00:02:51.200 look and the women are making a rational thing. Hey, can this guy, you know, as much as I love 0.96

00:02:56.060 him or as much as I think we have chemistry, can he step up to the plate and really provide

00:03:01.520 economically to support a family with a couple of kids. This gets later and later and later.

00:03:07.760 That's a big a ticking time bomb as the hitting 100 percent of GDP to debt. On top of that,

00:03:16.500 you have artificial intelligence. And I say, as bad as our finances are in the country in the

00:03:20.840 balance sheet, we are making a virtually a suicidal economic bet, a highly leveraged bet

00:03:26.780 on artificial intelligence to deliver massive productivity increases

00:03:30.900 without the concomitant mass layoffs.

00:03:33.640 The probability of that happening is remote,

00:03:36.740 and now you're having people in tech say,

00:03:38.380 well, maybe Bannon's not wrong on this.

00:03:40.520 I don't see the returns.

00:03:42.160 You add artificial intelligence, the investment on that,

00:03:44.820 on the pressure on the American family, 0.62

00:03:46.940 and particularly young unmarrieds,

00:03:48.960 to actually make not just a family decision,

00:03:52.180 but at its heart also an economic decision.

00:03:54.700 You're going to push that out later.

00:03:55.920 That's how you have societal collapse, sir.

00:04:00.140 That's exactly right, Steve.

00:04:01.620 And, you know, we can go back to previous societies and civilizations.

00:04:05.940 The Romans became too prosperous.

00:04:09.080 They stopped having children. 0.53

00:04:10.500 They had to import slave labor to do all their crops into the other fields.

00:04:14.720 And guess what happened?

00:04:15.740 They died out.

00:04:16.480 They were erased.

00:04:17.640 What's that going to be like when we make robots to replace us, when we make robots to do all of our jobs, when we take away purpose and meaning from people?

00:04:24.360 And, Steve, if you look at the DEI, everyone focuses on DEI as a cultural phenomenon.

00:04:30.520 It's an economic policy, right?

00:04:32.360 They're blocking out young men out of the entry-level jobs, out of college degrees, out of medical schools, out of law schools because of the color of their skin. 0.64

00:04:42.220 And so now you have a whole situation where a bunch of young white men who are very capable, very smart, they scored higher, they don't have any jobs. 0.62

00:04:51.020 They don't have any prospects. 0.67

00:04:51.980 And guess what?

00:04:52.440 They're giving up.

00:04:53.460 They're going to drugs. 0.73

00:04:54.440 They're going to porn. 0.97

00:04:55.280 They're going to video games. 0.91

00:04:56.600 They're distracted.

00:04:57.580 It's not even just like the hard drugs.

00:04:59.160 It's like weed now is everywhere.

00:05:01.200 You smell it in all your major cities.

00:05:02.660 I was in St. Louis yesterday.

00:05:04.640 I smell weed everywhere.

00:05:05.840 Why is this everywhere?

00:05:07.240 It was not just 10 years ago where you wouldn't smell weed everywhere.

00:05:10.480 But young men are withdrawing from society, and that's going to have a reverberating effect on young women as well.

00:05:16.020 And so the more we go without getting young people married again where there's an economy that doesn't make sense for young people to get married,

00:05:22.340 the more miserable we're all going to be the more we're going to be in therapy the more we're going

00:05:26.220 to be on anti-psychotic medication the more our economy is going to actually be cheap steve the

00:05:30.980 economy's fake you used to have be able to support a family off of one income you'd have a vacation

00:05:35.480 home you have a second car you'd have anything you wanted and now two incomes doesn't do that

00:05:40.880 two income two lawyers don't do that a plumber doesn't do that anymore it's it's atrocious and

00:05:46.240 we need to get serious about fixing our economy and reorient it towards the family and towards

00:05:50.960 the trades, frankly. I think we've sent way too many kids to college. Steve, I don't ever use my

00:05:55.060 college degree. I could have read all these books myself. We paid all this money for it, and it's

00:05:59.840 worthless. And you'll find that, actually, if you sit down with the American, we're doing focus

00:06:04.200 groups right now in Iowa, New Hampshire, and South Carolina, and what keeps coming up is everyone

00:06:08.580 says their college degree was a scam. They don't use it. It was way too much money, and it's

00:06:13.340 completely unnecessary. Someone who didn't go to college, Charlie Kirk, turned out pretty

00:06:19.400 successful uh terry where they go and get uh more information about this because this is a

00:06:25.240 it is a fight that we need people informed on you you need to get your arms around what it means to

00:06:32.260 be uh and i'll get you back we're kind of out of time between the natalist and the pro family which

00:06:37.460 is profound but i'll hopefully get you back this week to talk about that um where do people go to

00:06:42.040 get all this information where they start getting smart about the family as the core building block

00:06:46.900 The American family is a core building block to the country itself, and particularly the economy, sir.

00:06:53.900 Well, just go to AmericanPrinciplesProject.org, sign up to get all of our news and email updates, and check me out on Twitter or on X.

00:07:02.440 It's on all social media.

00:07:04.120 It's just Schilling, S-C-H-I-L-L-I-N-G, 1776, Schilling, 1776.

00:07:09.920 We're going to have a new report coming out, Steve, in the coming weeks about how we reform and rejigger the economy to be about reviving the American family.

00:07:17.580 I'm very excited to share it with everyone.

00:07:19.840 Wow, that's coming out late July, early August?

00:07:22.580 Is that what we can expect?

00:07:23.180 Give me a little bit of time.

00:07:24.480 It'll be coming out in the coming weeks.

00:07:26.460 This is Terry and his homework assignment.

00:07:28.340 Terry Schilling, you're fighting the good fight, sir.

00:07:30.280 Thank you for coming on today.

00:07:31.240 Appreciate you.

00:07:31.820 Look forward to the report.

00:07:33.320 Thanks, brother.

00:07:33.820 Yeah. American president, by the way, the leading the guy that really went all in early on in transgender was amazing.

00:07:41.560 Michael Pack joins me. Michael, I want to get to the films you're doing, and particularly this one, particularly I want people to see, get a taste of it and where they can go to see all of it.

00:07:50.560 But I got to ask you, and this is because the confirmation hearings this week, the president and his powers to pick.

00:07:57.200 So we have 4,000 people that any administration, whether it's Obama or Biden or the president, get 4,000.

00:08:04.580 3,000 of those, you basically get a security clearance or some sort of rudimentary security clearance.

00:08:10.600 You can show up for work on the afternoon of 20 January of any, you know, the first day of the administration, you can show up.

00:08:18.600 So 1,000, and these are the more senior members of the government and people that really have massive decision-making responsibility, have to get confirmed by the United States Senate.

00:08:28.660 And that is in the Constitution.

00:08:30.040 They wanted to make sure that the legislative branch had some check over the president for just putting in whoever he wanted at any time he wanted.

00:08:39.080 And so I've always called the Senate is really the human resources department of the government.

00:08:43.780 Now, what used to be a process of advice and consent, because that's what it's supposed to be, has turned into a partisan warfare. You were the most celebrated, I would say, as being a conservative filmmaker at the time of the conservative filmmakers.

00:08:58.840 You were kind of the guy that made the films that could play on PBS or go into theaters, right, just under your skill set and not be more tense towards more, I don't know, of a propagandist as yours truly, Stephen K. Bannon was.

00:09:13.980 Now, you were nominated to run the most important element of kind of the global communications for the United States government, a revered position.

00:09:24.320 And we controlled the Senate at the time.

00:09:28.080 Mitch McConnell, I want you to talk to me about how long after you were nominated by the president, did you kind of sit in limbo so that the left-wing media could destroy you, your professional life, and your family, sir?

00:09:45.640 Well, as you know, the president asked me to serve in March after he was elected, you know, two months after he was sworn in.

00:09:53.700 And it took three years and three months before I actually walked through the door of the US Agency for Global Media. And I served for only eight months to the end of that term. You know, they succeeded in blocking me. My main opponent was Senator Menendez. And he was very skillful at that.

00:10:09.860 He had an army of lawyers.

00:10:11.520 They were great at blocking.

00:10:13.140 And even before it got to the Senate, you know,

00:10:15.400 it was blocked by administrative efforts

00:10:19.740 inside sort of places like the Office of Government Ethics

00:10:22.540 that would just endlessly require more forms,

00:10:25.380 more this, more that.

00:10:26.860 They were just great at blocking it.

00:10:28.620 It was a combination of being blocked politically

00:10:30.920 in the Senate and then being blocked

00:10:32.520 by internal kind of swamp forces inside the government.

00:10:37.560 And they were all marshaled together.

00:10:39.380 And it did not stop, as you just pointed out, after I did walk through the door and was confirmed by the Senate.

00:10:45.700 You know, my agency and I personally were sued endlessly in the District of Columbia, a great place for Democrats to sue Republicans.

00:10:53.900 And it went on, on even beyond the end of the Trump administration into the Biden administration, because as you often point out, they are relentless.

00:11:03.560 You know, one kind of victory is not enough.

00:11:06.660 They really want to, you know, burn their enemies to the ground.

00:11:09.120 Now, you were nominated in March of 2017, right?

00:11:15.700 Yes.

00:11:16.220 You actually walked through the door, was it in March or April of 2020, sir?

00:11:23.540 When did you actually go through the door?

00:11:25.800 It was, I think it was May or June of 2020.

00:11:29.440 So three years and three months later.

00:11:32.860 Yeah, I mean, by the time I was serving, they were already into the next presidential campaign.

00:11:39.120 And I tried very hard to get the Voice of America and the other agencies under the USAGM banner to at least portray that presidential campaign fairly.

00:11:49.080 And that was a battle and not an easy, not a battle.

00:11:53.420 I think I won, but I tried.

00:11:56.620 But talk to me about that.

00:11:58.080 Most, well, first off, we're going to go to break here in a second.

00:12:02.720 Why did they throw down so hard on you?

00:12:04.900 They did for a lot of people who just quit, but why did they single you out to say, we have to go to general quarters to keep this guy from getting his hands on Voice of America and the rest of, you know, Radio Free Europe, Radio Asia, all of it?

00:12:20.420 Why did they pick, why did they say Michael Pact is a guy that we have to burn it down before he let him take over?

00:12:27.560 Why was that?

00:12:30.880 Well, before I came there, this was like a really sleepy agency.

00:12:34.160 I mean, it spun off from the USIA in the Clinton administration, and it had really been run essentially by Democrats through the intervening, you know, 20 plus years.

00:12:45.640 And, you know, I assured my wife and family that my own nomination and service would be uncontroversial.

00:12:53.280 And like many of my opinions, that turned out to be wrong.

00:12:56.180 I think what it comes down to, Steve, is not me personally.

00:13:00.320 But I think that they recognize that this is a huge media enterprise.

00:13:05.320 I mean, on one hand, you could say it's just a mid-level government agency, but it's also, it was at the time, had a budget of almost a billion dollars a year.

00:13:13.720 There were 4,000 people in the agency, mostly journalists.

00:13:16.780 It was one of the biggest media enterprises in the world, if you combine the five broadcasters, Voice of America, Radio for Europe, Radio Liberty, Radio for Asia, Middle East Broadcasting, and Cuba Broadcasting.

00:13:30.760 And the left sees the media as something that they have to control.

00:13:35.560 And this was something they wanted to control, both for its own, just to control the messages that went out to hundreds of millions of people all over the world, but also to put their own journalists in and, you know, put them in, bring them out.

00:13:50.020 It's a place to house journalists and credential journalists, and they controlled it, and they did not want to give it up.

00:13:56.280 I mean, my only goal was to bring it back to its actual legal mission, which is to be fair and balanced and present a fair picture of America and to sort of support Americans' foreign policy goals and represent them along with criticism all over the world.

00:14:13.700 And I simply wanted the thing to be covered equally.

00:14:16.660 But as I often say, if you control 100 percent of the message and someone says you're going down to 50 percent, you see that as a 50 percent loss.

00:14:25.300 And that's how they read it.

00:14:26.080 Michael, hang on, Michael Pack is with us.

00:14:28.240 He's got a brilliant new film out we're going to discuss,

00:14:31.840 but we're also going to continue on about this confirmation process.

00:14:35.900 Michael Pack could have walked in the door

00:14:37.560 if we'd had a technical recess in the first term.

00:14:41.960 He would be what's called a recess appointee.

00:14:44.520 Short commercial break.

00:16:04.060 and use code Bannon10. Michael Pack, you stuck at, why did you stick for three years and three

00:16:17.820 months. And people don't know this, but every day in the paper, it'd be another just salacious

00:16:21.440 attack on you, leaked by the deep state to the, like the Washington Post, et cetera. They just

00:16:26.780 had a series of what an awful person Michael Pack is, what a partisan hack he is. Just,

00:16:33.120 I'd sit there and read it and say, man, these are the most bald-faced lies. But you were a saint,

00:16:37.000 you hung in there. Why did you hang in for so long? Yeah, the attacks were amazing, especially

00:16:42.000 in the NPR, David Fogonflick, and the Washington Post. The Washington Post had 40 pieces about me,

00:16:47.820 in my eight months there, including four op-eds and four editorials. You know, the day I left

00:16:53.780 office, the editorials were about Vladimir Putin, Donald Trump, and me. I told my wife, well, we're

00:17:00.980 the three most powerful people in the world. But since you know my wife, Gina, you know, she didn't

00:17:05.600 believe that. But it looked that way. Why did I hang in? I mean, I was producing my documentary

00:17:12.160 on Clarence Thomas while this process went on. So I was busy. But look, Steve, when you're attacked,

00:17:19.240 either you capitulate or fight back. Those are the only two choices. And I did not want to

00:17:24.080 capitulate. I mean, it just, it didn't seem right. I mean, the president trusted me, you know,

00:17:30.680 I didn't, you know, either you back down in humiliation or you don't. And it's true that

00:17:37.540 I lost a lot of friends during that process, but I gained a lot of friends too. I mean,

00:17:41.640 you yourself said that you didn't think I had it in me. And neither did I, actually. So some people

00:17:47.900 got renewed respect for me. Perhaps you too. I don't know. You had a lot of respect before.

00:17:53.000 So I don't know. That's what happens when you're attacked. Either you fight back or you quit.

00:17:57.400 Those are the two choices. What lessons did you take away from that? What lessons

00:18:02.400 personally did you take away? Because you were in your, what, late 40s, early 50s when this

00:18:07.140 happened? Most people, there's that many life lessons you can teach after that. What did you

00:18:11.440 learn about that process? To me, I mean, so there are things that I knew. I mean, we've talked about

00:18:20.640 this before. I knew about the administrative state, the swamp, and I had been in government

00:18:25.520 briefly in the George H.W. Bush administration. But the nature of the attacks, it's maybe obvious,

00:18:32.800 but you feel it differently when there are attacks on you and your organization.

00:18:36.620 This sort of complete, the hatred of Donald Trump throughout my agency

00:18:41.120 and the willingness to do anything to stop him,

00:18:43.480 even though he was president of the United States and signed their paychecks,

00:18:47.380 were astounding.

00:18:48.240 And I think for me, I was just his minion there at USAGM.

00:18:52.960 I don't think it was personal to me.

00:18:55.220 And their willingness to do anything was astounding.

00:18:58.240 I mean, you talk about the media coverage.

00:19:00.860 I mean, the media, when I was growing up, used to be what I call biased, where they present both sides and they would more favorably present the sides they agreed with.

00:19:11.800 But by this time, it's well beyond bias.

00:19:14.680 Only one side is presented in those 40 pieces.

00:19:17.940 They never interviewed anybody who agreed with me or anybody who could explain what I was doing about visas, about the firewall, about editorial independence, about anything.

00:19:28.760 They interviewed only one side and they were willing to lie.

00:19:33.160 I had a comms director who would try to correct their lies all the time.

00:19:36.660 After a month or two, he had to be transferred somewhere else.

00:19:39.420 He couldn't take it.

00:19:40.660 You know, he'd present the facts and they would print something else.

00:19:44.900 And I think maybe your listeners know this about the media and the deep state, but it's

00:19:50.640 a different kind of knowledge when you're in the trenches.

00:19:53.680 And it's that kind of knowledge that I think I picked up.

00:19:56.980 Hard won knowledge.

00:19:59.440 Hard won knowledge. You know, you had the situation that if you went if if the Senate, which is, you know, President Trump's now a year and a half into his second term.

00:20:07.660 So it's been five and a half years in the Senate has never been on a day of recess.

00:20:12.940 Why the Republicans are in charge and they've been in charge during President Trump's time.

00:20:19.920 Why is that? Why is the Senate not take an official recess and then President Trump can get in some recess appointments?

00:20:26.120 you would have been a very logical choice in the first year.

00:20:29.540 And there's some limitations on recess appointments.

00:20:31.660 They only go for so long, or I guess they haven't been court challenged about that.

00:20:36.220 But why is the Senate decided, and there's been no other president this has happened to,

00:20:42.240 why has the Senate, controlled by Republicans, made a decision that Donald Trump is not worthy of taking a recess

00:20:50.020 and letting him think through maybe he should have a couple, three recess appointments?

00:20:53.980 And maybe that's even a guy like Michael Pact.

00:20:56.600 I don't know.

00:20:57.560 Maybe two years into the process so that you have two years left.

00:21:01.920 Why is that, sir?

00:21:03.820 I really – it's unfathomable to me.

00:21:06.420 I mean, in my own case, I was up against the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, and Senator Menendez was the ranking member.

00:21:14.060 And he determined the course of my confirmation process as a ranking member.

00:21:19.900 I don't know how he did it.

00:21:21.400 I just want to make sure the audience understands this.

00:21:23.740 He was they he did not head the committee. The committee was headed by Republicans.

00:21:28.100 He's the ranking member. But they turned over because obviously Mitch McConnell did not want you in there.

00:21:34.560 They determined let Menendez do the dirty work here.

00:21:38.260 And he was more than glad to do the dirty work because the Democrats hated you to your core being because you were Trump's minion.

00:21:44.760 Right. But that's my point. Why why would why would they let the committee we control?

00:21:49.960 because this audience has rang enough doorbells and given enough $10 contributions to make sure

00:21:56.380 they're in power, why would they turn that power over to the Democrats? Well, part of it,

00:22:02.140 a partial explanation in this case is that Menendez really wanted to block me, and he was

00:22:08.740 willing to trade things to the majority to do that. I mean, they were willing to, you know,

00:22:13.540 he's willing to say, well, I'll confirm all these ambassadors. And ambassadors don't make

00:22:18.760 much difference, period. I mean, you know, the president can call foreign leaders. He doesn't

00:22:23.780 need ambassadors to sort of go into their presence. And Senator Menendez and the Democrats

00:22:30.900 saw this as important and willing to trade off their chits to stop me, because they saw the

00:22:36.880 control of the media as important, and Republicans did not. Beyond that, I don't know. I mean,

00:22:43.140 the workings of the Senate and of Congress in general are an eternal mystery to me.

00:22:51.300 I mean, one of the things that struck me in my eight months there is how many Republican

00:22:56.860 members are controlled by their staff. And a lot of their staffs are weak, whereas the Democrats

00:23:03.200 had way better staffs and way more experienced staffs, and they operated more as a machine.

00:23:10.660 I mean, you know that very well, Steve, and I think there are historic reasons for that, but it's not a good thing for Republicans.

00:23:18.520 Let's pivot now to you've been making films. You're making films and playing over the Wall Street Journal.

00:23:22.680 We're going to play this after the break, but talk to me about your overall filmmaking with the Journal and what this film, particularly why this struck your interest.

00:23:30.160 Because I've always said PACT has a great nose for what is important and kind of what's downrange.

00:23:37.820 What are the films you're making over there and why did you choose this subject?

00:23:40.660 well as you know we make the long form documentaries and now we are doing these

00:23:46.420 short documentaries with the wall street journal and we have an incubator program to train the next

00:23:51.320 generation of sort of right of center or at least fair-minded documentary filmmakers but the project

00:23:57.100 with the wall street journal is a series of short films 30-minute films that look at issues and

00:24:02.500 events from the recent past that have been misreported underreported or memory hold and

00:24:09.060 And the first – and they're free, not behind the Wall Street Journal paywall.

00:24:13.340 They're all at wsj.com slash opinion docs, or you can just search – or you can go to palladiumpictures.com, my company, and find them.

00:24:24.080 And this one is about the lockdowns.

00:24:27.340 And now I think the lockdowns were one of the biggest things to happen to America and even the world in the last five or ten years.

00:24:35.840 And it shapes a lot of our government, our public policy, the way we live today.

00:24:45.060 But people largely want to move on.

00:24:47.420 They don't really want to think about it.

00:24:49.280 And we wanted to tell the story and remind people what happened and why so that it doesn't happen again.

00:24:56.240 Now, your viewers, you know, they're sort of war room posse.

00:25:00.880 They may have heard these ideas.

00:25:02.360 But I think what we try to do with The Wall Street Journal is put these back in a story, tell people what happened over time.

00:25:09.480 And I think even those that are loyal viewers of yours might not remember how it all played out.

00:25:16.220 And that's what we intend to do.

00:25:17.900 And we're happy to be on The Wall Street Journal website and hope to reach an audience that's more middle of the road.

00:25:23.360 You know, we'll never be able to get the people who loved Oprah Fauci to change their mind.

00:25:27.660 But some people in the middle that haven't heard it before, we really want to reach them and tell them what happened.

00:25:33.560 And it's our goal not to sort of dig deep and find sort of conspiracy theories or things now people have heard before.

00:25:40.960 But I think the bare facts of what happened are compelling enough.

00:25:44.560 And we suppressed science during that period.

00:25:47.400 We as a country gave up our basic rights to the government.

00:25:50.860 And we should never do that again.

00:25:52.580 And I think things like the declining work ethic in America comes from this COVID period and even a lot of people's trust in government, that the government will solve all their problems.

00:26:06.360 This rise of socialism comes from the habits formed during COVID.

00:26:09.760 And I think it's important to tell the story in the Wall Street Journal opinion people agreed.

00:26:16.000 Were you pretty shocked?

00:26:17.200 We're going to go to commercial break.

00:26:18.260 where you're pretty shocked about our audience obviously was immersed in this, but I'm always

00:26:25.220 shocked at people that have almost just the very basic rudimentary understanding of the pandemic

00:26:30.320 and then the results of things about the pandemic. And you're right. They've put it down the memory

00:26:35.180 hole. They just don't want to deal with it. And I'm pretty stunned that it was such a pivotal

00:26:39.960 moment in American history that people just don't want to deal with it.

00:26:42.800 Absolutely. It's a stunning thing. And yeah, I think lots of people don't know. I mean,

00:26:49.720 I live in Chevy Chase, as you know, since you have been to my home, a very blue area outside

00:26:54.420 of Washington, D.C. We had a lot of thank you, Dr. Fauci signs on the lawns around us during COVID.

00:26:59.860 And most of my neighbors still think he's a hero and saved millions of lives instead of the opposite.

00:27:05.080 So I think it's really worth telling. And even I was sort of shocked when you put it all together.

00:27:11.920 I think you're going to show the trailer.

00:27:13.720 Even the trailer reminds you of what it was like back then.

00:27:18.020 Why don't you hang on?

00:27:18.780 We're going to play a trailer and I think a clip or two from it.

00:27:21.300 Michael Pack is with us.

00:27:23.200 Mike Lindell is about to join us.

00:27:24.900 Tage Gill, all of it.

00:27:25.880 Short commercial break.

00:27:26.620 Back in the room in a moment.

00:27:41.920 Open your eyes, no time to be blind, open your mind to see, we're in a modern day, holy war, coming after your mind to find your soul, oh, oh, it's true, modern day.

00:28:05.740 Everyone's focused on how the conflict in the Middle East is raising oil prices,

00:28:09.500 but there's another grim reality to this contention.

00:28:13.960 Oil isn't the only resource being constrained.

00:28:16.360 About one-third of global fertilizer trade happens through this region.

00:28:21.260 And with spring planting season on top of us, American farmers are sounding the alarm,

00:28:26.020 with some saying they can't afford to plant their fields.

00:28:29.100 When one piece of the supply chain gets hit this hard, you know what comes next.

00:28:33.480 higher food prices, reduced availability, maybe even panic buying. That's why having an emergency

00:28:39.900 food supply at home makes so much sense. And that's where our friends at MyPatriotSupply come

00:28:46.620 in right now at preparewithbannon.com. That is preparewithbannon.com. We've set up an entire

00:28:53.640 just site for the war room posse. You go to preparewithbannon.com. That's all one word,

00:29:30.640 Dr. Fauci said, that's the problem.

00:29:32.820 The people are not afraid enough.

00:29:35.400 I said, it's unethical to use fear in an emergency to manipulate people.

00:29:41.720 We wrote this declaration with the hope of telling the world that the lockdown was the wrong strategy.

00:29:46.180 Collins saying, Jay Bhattacharya, we got to take him down.

00:29:50.320 What scientists talk like that?

00:29:52.380 They're strong people.

00:29:53.900 High government officials, including inside the White House itself,

00:29:56.920 would go to social media companies and threaten them.

00:29:59.240 Nice social media platform you got there.

00:30:01.620 Shame that something happened to it.

00:30:02.920 We became more totalitarian.

00:30:04.680 If you don't have free speech, you cannot have science.

00:30:07.660 Almost from the beginning of the Biden administration, they weaponized government,

00:30:12.220 aiming to control the speech around the treatment for COVID,

00:30:18.800 the effectiveness of lockdowns, the harms of lockdowns, school closures, masks, you name it.

00:30:24.100 High government officials, including inside the White House itself,

00:30:27.280 would go to social media companies and threaten them,

00:30:30.760 telling the social media companies who and what to censor.

00:30:34.580 When Fauci talked, he started his talk by telling the American public

00:30:37.820 he's the lead public health person in the United States.

00:30:41.580 And I had just spoken, and I was a CDC director,

00:30:43.960 and I went to him afterwards and said,

00:30:45.260 Tony, I mean, what's that all about?

00:30:46.820 I mean, you run a lab at NIH.

00:30:50.340 But he clearly felt upon him that he had to take that position.

00:30:55.800 Dr. Fauci, at one point, leaned over this sort of oval conference table and said, one of the problems is the public is not afraid enough.

00:31:09.520 And I was shocked to hear something like this.

00:31:13.060 And I interrupted.

00:31:14.840 I said, can you repeat that?

00:31:16.800 Dr. Fauci said, that's the problem.

00:31:19.080 The people are not afraid enough, so they won't listen.

00:31:22.200 I think it's sort of obvious, but I said, you know, that's unethical.

00:31:29.660 That's not the way public health is supposed to be done.

00:31:32.640 It's unethical, in my opinion, to use fear in an emergency to manipulate people.

00:31:41.000 The government working to suppress scientific theories strikes me as a pretty serious breach.

00:31:48.040 Yeah, I think it was really wrong.

00:31:49.420 I'm not sure whether I'm going to say it was the government or scientists in the government.

00:31:57.260 But I do know that Collins and Fauci were trying to suppress it.

00:32:01.100 I do know the scientific community was trying to suppress it.

00:32:04.120 I knew the scientific journals were trying to suppress it.

00:32:07.020 I knew the scientific media was trying to suppress it.

00:32:11.100 And ultimately, you got social media to suppress it.

00:32:15.100 but because they were pressured to do that by, I would argue, the government scientists.

00:32:24.600 Okay. So, Pac, this is what this is going to do. And I realized for the Wall Street Journal,

00:32:28.380 and I'm so proud of the fact that the Warren Posse is 10 times farther ahead than the traditional

00:32:33.420 Wall Street Journal. And I tell this to all my young nephews that think the Wall Street Journal

00:32:37.860 is the gospel truth. The question of this audience is going to be, yes, we know this,

00:32:43.220 of course, seeing it again, just, it's like having a flashback. Why, given your reporting,

00:32:51.500 why is Tony Fauci a free man? Why is he walking around doing what he does and not in a federal

00:32:58.400 prison somewhere, sir? Well, first of all, I have to defend my partners, the Wall Street Journal

00:33:04.340 opinion section. On this very topic, they were way ahead. They published Jay Bhattacharya and

00:33:11.300 Scott Atlas in March, right? The pandemic came in December. No, no. In fact, they give the devil

00:33:17.160 story. They actually did the Barrington decree or the Barrington, the thing that kicked it off

00:33:21.260 was actually in the pages. Barrington declaration was actually the opinion section of the Wall

00:33:27.580 Street Journal. They were ahead of the curve on this. There's no doubt. Okay. I don't know about

00:33:33.280 Dr. Fauci. I mean, lots of people still love him. I think that, you know, in our bubble,

00:33:39.680 You can think everybody knows that he, you know, supported gain-of-function research, but even so, I mean, the stuff that Scott Atlas and Jay Bhattacharya talk about in our film are stuff that was on the surface even then.

00:33:52.460 He ignored data and he stuck with a restrictive lockdowns that had horrible consequences.

00:34:00.100 I mean, millions and millions of dollars in people's lives, children who lost years of schooling needlessly and businesses that were shuttered never to reopen, people who just lost track of their lives or couldn't see their loved ones.

00:34:12.240 I mean, horrible consequences.

00:34:14.740 And that's Fauci and Birx.

00:34:17.160 I mean, I think people are trying to hold them to account.

00:34:20.760 I mean, Rand Paul is relentless to his credit.

00:34:25.800 And as you know, there were all these emails released at the end.

00:34:29.960 Yeah.

00:34:30.980 Very recently.

00:34:32.140 And Tulsi Gabbard, at the end of her next to last day, released all this.

00:34:36.580 Let me ask you, we've got time.

00:34:37.880 I've got to ask you.

00:34:39.000 You live in that neighborhood of yours where some of your filmmaking takes place.

00:34:43.780 It's one of the most pleasant neighborhoods.

00:34:45.680 It's kind of almost like it's a Norman Rockwell painting

00:34:49.860 of what an American, you know, let's say upper-middle-class

00:34:52.860 or middle-class neighborhood should be,

00:34:54.360 and it seemed people were very friendly.

00:34:56.400 If you took this film and said,

00:34:59.060 Hey, I want you to come over to the PAX,

00:35:01.120 and we're gonna have, you know, we're gonna have a picnic out back,

00:35:04.160 and we're gonna start for freshmen,

00:35:05.660 and I'm gonna put it up on the big screen.

00:35:07.660 With your name, people you've lived there for decades

00:35:10.180 and are considered friends and neighbors, all that,

00:35:12.500 and you showed that.

00:35:14.000 First off, what percentage of your neighbors would sit through the film before they left to discuss? And at the end, would they be shocked that you had come up with this propaganda against Dr. Fauci?

00:35:27.480 I think what would happen in my neighborhood, and I think this will happen to viewers who go to the WSJ.com website and look for lockdown dissonance.

00:35:37.000 I think a whole bunch of my neighbors will walk out.

00:35:40.280 But I think there are some that are just apolitical, you know, that are teachers or therapists.

00:35:47.380 There are a lot of those in the neighborhood.

00:35:48.580 I think that they might actually have their minds changed.

00:35:52.840 Whereas the ones that are already very political, we have a lot of people in the neighborhood that work at the World Bank, for instance, and the IMF and all those people, you know, they already, they met up their minds and they will walk out.

00:36:06.300 But I think some people would be convinced.

00:36:08.780 The film, I think you're planning maybe to show the whole film at some point.

00:36:13.540 I think you see the whole film.

00:36:15.320 It's very hard to argue that something really went wrong there.

00:36:19.660 And I think for most people that aren't already hugely biased, it is actually a compelling story.

00:36:26.400 I mean, just the bare facts of it.

00:36:28.720 And as you know, that's the way we do our filmmaking.

00:36:30.840 You made this point earlier that we shy away from propaganda and we try to let all sides speak and we let the facts speak for themselves.

00:36:38.420 And the facts are really pretty clear here.

00:36:40.160 So I like to think maybe half my neighbors would walk out and half my neighbors might have their eyes opened a little bit.

00:36:46.820 But I don't know.

00:36:47.720 I'm not sure I'm going to – my wife is willing to do that test case, Steve, but that's my prediction.

00:36:52.460 No, I would strongly recommend it gets.

00:36:55.440 Can you give us a hint of anything else you're working on?

00:36:58.560 And if we go to the site, what other films can people see that you've done for the journal?

00:37:03.640 Well, if I go to wsj.com slash opinion docs, the two earlier ones are there.

00:37:08.360 One of them is about the worst anti-Semitic riot in American history at Crown Heights in 1991.

00:37:14.320 And it's really a study of the origins of sort of left-wing, democratic-oriented anti-Semitism, which is so prevalent today.

00:37:23.300 And the other one is called The Prime Minister vs. The Blob.

00:37:26.460 And it's about Liz Truss's prime ministership and her efforts to fight their version of the administrative state, which they more colorfully call The Blob. 0.81

00:37:35.160 A very good name, I think.

00:37:37.280 Yeah, there it is up there.

00:37:38.540 And we are now working on one that'll come out at the end of August on the withdrawal from Afghanistan, which I think it'll be the fifth anniversary.

00:37:46.480 And I think it'll really tell a story that people maybe haven't quite heard.

00:37:50.840 So those are the ones that get there.

00:37:52.380 And if they go to platinumpictures.com, they can find a gateway to the 15 other documentaries we've done, most of which have been nationally broadcast on PBS, including the two I worked on with you.

00:38:04.220 Rick Over, Birth of Nuclear Power,

00:38:07.280 and The Last 600 Meters,

00:38:08.840 The Battles of Najaf and Fallujah.

00:38:11.700 We have to show Rick Over.

00:38:12.840 We have to have an event like we had

00:38:14.460 for The Last 600 Meters to show Rick Over.

00:38:16.320 That film is so amazing.

00:38:17.860 And it has not been shown enough.

00:38:19.340 I'll talk to you afterwards.

00:38:20.340 I want to say before I leave,

00:38:22.180 one of the greatest compliments I've ever had,

00:38:24.800 I'm at Michael's and he's got editing.

00:38:29.200 He does, he and Gina run this great company

00:38:32.240 and he's a great mentor.

00:38:34.020 And I'm working on one of my films.

00:38:35.280 I even forget what it is,

00:38:36.020 but I asked you to see a very early copy of it.

00:38:39.100 And we're sitting there and it's this dark little editing thing.

00:38:41.260 We're watching this little TV.

00:38:42.860 And Michael goes, that's very artistic the way you did that.

00:38:47.400 And I go, yeah.

00:38:48.180 And he goes, no, you actually are an artist.

00:38:51.600 I sat there and go, you got to stop.

00:38:53.960 You can't really do that.

00:38:55.020 He says, no, you're actually an artist.

00:38:57.620 I don't know if you remember that,

00:38:58.900 but that was one of the greatest compliments I've ever had.

00:39:00.980 I walked in, I go, God, I said Michael Pax, who's our best filmmaker, actually said that.

00:39:05.560 So that motivated me.

00:39:06.880 That's what kept my filmmaking going.

00:39:09.800 Michael, one more time, where do they go to see all your work, and particularly this Afghanistan?

00:39:15.540 We'll talk about that.

00:39:16.300 We've got to make a big deal about that for the fifth anniversary.

00:39:20.180 Well, they can go to palladiumpictures.com, P-A-L-L-A-D-I-U-M, pictures.com, and find our pressed work.

00:39:27.200 or they can go to either the Wall Street Journal website,

00:39:30.520 WSJ.com or their YouTube page

00:39:32.660 and search for lockdown dissidents

00:39:34.380 or as you put up a minute ago,

00:39:36.840 the main page for our Wall Street Journal website,

00:39:40.200 Wall Street Journal documentaries,

00:39:41.900 WSJ.com slash opinion docs.

00:39:45.120 And let me stress that they're all free

00:39:46.720 because many people are irritated

00:39:48.040 by the Wall Street Journal's paywall,

00:39:50.820 but these are not paywalled.

00:39:52.360 Maybe eventually they will be,

00:39:53.620 but for now they're free

00:39:54.640 and they're each about 30 minutes.

00:39:56.360 And I think they tell a compelling and exciting story as well as an important one.

00:40:02.120 Michael Pack, thank you, sir.

00:40:03.940 Thank you for being the toughest and longest holdout for President Trump's first term.

00:40:08.740 Michael Pack did not capitulate.

00:40:11.540 Thank you, sir.

00:40:12.940 Thank you, Steve.

00:40:14.060 Great talking to you.

00:40:14.960 Thank you.

00:40:15.420 Thank you, brother.

00:40:17.560 Taze Gill.

00:40:18.060 tase you're someone that shifted late in life from being someone that was defended the country

00:40:24.020 and was a gunman and and and put yourself in harm's way for decades to become an artist

00:40:29.260 your your your canvas is uh is coffee and you added you came to the conclusion one day

00:40:37.320 i've had the best equipment in the world the best weapons in the world the best training in the

00:40:41.460 world and i drink the crappiest coffee i'm going to change that and i'm going to create my own it

00:40:45.720 took you years to do it but warpath coffee is the world's finest coffee don't take it from me

00:40:52.800 there's over 19 000 five-star reviews on your site right now the people who go say it ain't

00:40:58.800 tage and it ain't banning promoting this these are folks tell me about it sir

00:41:02.580 yeah the website is warpath.coffee and if you haven't tried to try it like like you said steve

00:41:11.320 I wanted to create a, a really high product. When I was in the SEAL teams, we had, we always had the

00:41:17.860 best gear, you know, the best equipment, the best guns, and I wanted to have the best coffee. So

00:41:23.520 the first one we created was the breakfast blend. It's that one is it's a medium roast and it's

00:41:29.580 really, really smooth. And then when we started working with you, you said we had had a dark

00:41:34.800 roast. So I created that Mariners blend and I called it Mariners blend. Cause you're in the

00:41:39.720 Navy. I was in Navy, so we're Mariners, and that one, even though it's dark roast, we don't burn

00:41:45.980 the beans at all, so you can drink it straight black. It's got very low acid content. It's not

00:41:51.100 bitter at all, so that was the goal, is to create coffee that you could drink straight black,

00:41:55.220 and that's what we've done. You know, we have K-Cups. We have espresso. The espresso, you can

00:42:00.360 actually drink straight black. The espresso is amazing. People love it, and then we have all the

00:42:05.000 flavored coffees and the holiday blend people were emailing us year around so we just put it

00:42:11.800 up year around now and um we have decaf the decaf is the i didn't realize there's so many people

00:42:17.820 that drank decaf the decaf sells out fast and if you haven't tried to try it read the reviews

00:42:24.020 there's 19 000 plus five star reviews people absolutely love this coffee and it's it's

00:42:31.120 incredible this weekend we're doing 20 off with promo code war room so warpath.coffee promo code

00:43:38.240 pencil call 845 war room that's 845 war room call it right now i'm serious call it now here's why

00:43:47.140 the insurance companies and their lackeys in the washington swamp have built a medicare system

00:43:52.760 design to confuse you and rip you off. Rising premiums, denied claims, fine print nobody but

00:44:00.360 a lobbyist understands. Millions of American seniors are paying too much and getting too

00:44:05.460 little. And worst of all, most don't even know it. Hey, that could be you. That's why if you're

00:44:11.920 already on Medicare or will be soon, you need to talk to our friends at Chapter. They have a team

00:44:18.400 of advisors trained to serve American seniors, not the insurance companies. In under 20 minutes,

00:44:23.760 they can find you the best plan for your needs at the lowest cost. Why? They're a data company.

00:44:30.160 They have all the data on every plan. It's totally free. There's no pressure, no BS,

00:44:36.940 just straightforward, honest help from fellow patriots. So don't wait. Call 845-WAR-ROOM right

00:44:42.440 now that's 845 war room tell them bannon sent you now listen in the first couple of days of the

00:44:48.820 launch of this company with the war and posse posse members saved tens and up to hundreds of

00:44:54.760 thousands collectively of dollars in these fees go check it out today that's chapter

00:44:59.640 call 845 war room do it today war room here's your host steven k van

00:45:07.420 tage gill uh benghazi tell me about benghazi you you you were my head of my security but

00:45:16.780 you started something on benghazi and then get shut down why was benghazi personal to you

00:45:21.060 uh one of my friends ty woods he was a teammate and a great friend he was one of the guys i looked

00:45:29.180 up to um i knew him day one in the seal teams he was there he was killed and then glenn doherty

00:45:35.860 He was actually, Glenn and I, we both worked at the agency and him and I were roommates in Afghanistan.

00:45:41.320 I knew him from the West Coast SEAL teams.

00:45:43.300 So it hit harder when both these guys were killed.

00:45:47.560 And when, you know, Hillary, she turned down like, I think it was, I can't remember.

00:45:52.900 It was over 600 requests for security upgrades for the consulate in Benghazi, Libya.

00:45:58.460 And I think if a lot of those requests were filled, that attack wouldn't have happened.

00:46:06.000 It couldn't have happened.

00:46:07.280 The gates were unlocked.

00:46:08.420 There's no cameras.

00:46:09.460 But, you know, it was crazy the way it went down.

00:46:12.880 And all the other agencies and groups like Red Cross and stuff had left Benghazi because the threat was so high.

00:46:21.300 So I created T-shirts.

00:46:23.420 Hillary Clinton killed my friends. 1.00

00:46:25.860 Let me grab one. 0.93

00:46:28.460 sorry this t-shirt this is a skateboard deck but we did these hillary flint didn't kill my friends

00:46:35.620 because i wanted to raise awareness about what happened in benghazi it was it was a it was

00:46:41.340 negligence why that happened and i still believe that a rescue team could have gotten there in

00:46:46.020 time but regardless of that the attack never should have happened in benghazi so yeah my my

00:46:53.240 My two teammates, Navy SEALs, Ty Woods and Glendarty, they were there.

00:46:57.940 They were killed in the morning after from a mortar attack.

00:47:02.280 And I don't think it should have happened.

00:47:04.720 That consulate should have been hardened, and they should have been able to repel that attack.

00:47:13.100 The terrorists should have been able to just push the gate open and walk in the compound.

00:47:19.180 Trey Gowdy, I think when he botched the Benghazi hearing, which was a complete debacle,

00:47:23.860 I think they actually allowed that Hillary Clinton wanted to take the oath,

00:47:27.780 not on camera, but in a private room beforehand.

00:47:30.100 The whole thing was a debacle.

00:47:32.180 Were Ty Wood and Glenn Doherty, were they good men?

00:47:36.700 Oh, yeah.

00:47:37.300 They're both incredible guys.

00:47:40.440 You know, Ty was a family man.

00:47:42.660 His wife, Dorothy, and he's got kids.

00:47:45.020 And, you know, I knew them all when we were in the SEAL teams way back in the day.

00:47:49.500 And then he was doing contracting.

00:47:52.020 He was working at the agency.

00:47:52.860 He was just, he was a top notch, like stellar operator, stellar guy, stellar father.

00:47:58.860 And then Glenn, Glenn was one of those guys who just take the shirt off his back and give it to you.

00:48:03.960 He was such a good dude.

00:48:05.340 He was such a nice guy.

00:48:07.760 He was just a great guy all around.

00:48:09.680 And they were both there.

00:48:11.140 They both fought all night long.

00:48:12.860 They're at the CIA consulate.

00:48:14.540 They went to the, to the state department.

00:48:17.140 They're at the CIA outstation, we call them.

00:48:19.880 And they went to the CIA consulate.

00:48:21.380 They rescued 28 State Department Americans.

00:48:24.840 I think with the guy Sean Smith, he was a communication guy.

00:48:28.060 He was killed.

00:48:28.880 And then the ambassador, Stevens, he was killed.

00:48:31.740 They weren't able to rescue them, but they rescued 28 Americans that night.

00:48:35.640 And then the next morning, they were killed in the early hours of the morning from a mortar attack.

00:48:40.140 So they were both amazing people.

00:48:43.160 And we never got justice for those individuals, correct?

00:48:46.200 Nope. Nope.

00:48:47.240 zuckerberg when you start selling these when you start selling these shirts they blowing out

00:48:51.760 uh zuckerberg shut you down correct yes we we sold the shirts for a few years and then in 2020

00:49:01.020 through that account it was actually called uh project warpath and the project warpath account

00:49:06.460 i posted something about the uh 2020 election being stolen i posted a picture of the the voter

00:49:12.440 fraud graph from Wisconsin. And then they indefinitely suspended all our advertising

00:49:17.480 accounts. And they shadow banned the accounts on Facebook and Instagram to the point where you

00:49:22.820 couldn't find them anymore. And then Google would constantly say our account needs to be verified.

00:49:27.800 So we couldn't run Google ads because we used to run almost $100,000 a month in Google and Facebook

00:49:33.340 ads. And, you know, it was profitable. And then they shut it down overnight when we posted the

00:49:39.180 voter fraud graph from wisconsin uh voter fraud brother we're getting that later i'm also get

00:49:46.000 you back on about afghanistan we got a bolt now one more time where do people go to get the
