Voter data has been stolen from the United States election system by China and other foreign governments. President Trump has accused China of stealing millions of dollars worth of voter records, but there is no evidence of such a thing. Former CIA Director John Brennan tells CNN's Jake Tapper what he has found so far.

00:03:57.620They're massively redacted, so it's very hard to make any sense of them. What I'm looking at right

00:04:07.560original document. It's something that the Trump administration put on it. But the bottom line is
00:04:11.860they're heavily redacted. And I'm hearing from former officials that this is information that's
00:04:16.280been out there before. There's one case about reporting in Albany saying that China was creating
00:04:22.480fake driver's licenses. And the problem is that the source of this information was making up
00:04:28.700stories about COVID. And that's why that was sort of withdrawn and not prosecuted. And essentially,
00:04:35.360I have this former senior official who was involved in looking at different efforts to
00:04:40.040influence the elections is saying they've cherry picked pieces of intelligence and built a narrative
00:04:45.340around them without including the information that doesn't fit their narrative. And many of
00:04:52.200these other documents are just routine emails. There's several from an individual who complained
00:04:57.780that the, and I just want to back up, and this was said earlier. If any of this is true,
00:05:04.300the person biggest, who's in the most trouble here should be John Ratcliffe, President Trump.
00:05:11.580Who oversaw the intelligence community at the time and wrote the report and oversaw the report.
00:05:16.400So during Donald Trump's first term, John Ratcliffe allowed China to get, you know, 200 million dollar voter records.
00:05:25.140Those voter records are public. Again, I'm hearing that there's one, you know, two senior officials I'm talking to.
