Bannon's War Room - Episode 5530： Somali Immigration Overrun Maine; Coming Up Short On Deportations

00:00:00.160 Katie, I think the biggest tell that this is an effort to sell a narrative as opposed to a truly legitimate law enforcement investigation or other national security kind of effort to move or improve our national security is the fact that this effort, from what we know, was so rushed.

00:00:19.180 These millions of documents that a team of advisors working out of the White House collected was reviewed and declassified within three weeks.

00:00:31.140 And it appeared to be a very rushed effort to kind of grab things without them fully being, without seeing the full picture.

00:00:40.720 In fact, a White House official told me that they were still reviewing many of the things, that they didn't have answers to some of the questions that we posed.

00:00:48.700 And so I think what we are seeing here is an effort to create confusion, but also to let the person who believes that these elections were stolen so dearly, the president, continue to say that.

00:01:04.160 And we're seeing how he's able to use federal resources, use investigative resources to try and fit that narrative.

00:01:10.940 And I think one of the most important things is that the very people that would be helpful in kind of assessing some of this information, the very national security analysts who cover China, who cover Russia, those people were fired weeks before.

00:01:26.740 So we have lost so much of the kind of intelligence infrastructure that allows us to evaluate whether or not this is accurate information and what should be done.

00:01:37.160 So I wonder if it if it really was just an attempt to find people who would go with whatever the president wanted them to say, regardless of whether the evidence was there in any form at all.

00:01:49.240 And I ask that because there's an interesting article about Bill Pulte, Donald Trump's current acting DNI and the lengths he was willing to go, but then getting cold feet about it.

00:02:01.900 Here's what Pulte said. He got really scared, according to the Politico piece, by the whole thing and pulled back, said one of the two senior officials.

00:02:10.400 He got POTUS all spun up and then was incredibly scared when he realized people could die with his reckless behavior.

00:02:19.320 This is regarding revealing the names of intelligence officials who they were going to accuse of concealing election interference with Trump.

00:02:29.520 What do you make of that, Sarah?

00:02:31.900 I think it reflects you have the difference between kind of having these conspiracy theories when you're out of government and being in the position of having to make these tough choices.

00:02:41.400 And I think the fact that that cold feet that happened very, very late in the game here, because our understanding from White House officials is that there were plans for others to make statements.

00:02:53.440 There were plans for additional kind of high-level cabinet officials to say more about the fact that they allegedly were misled.

00:03:03.500 And then we didn't see any of that, most notably Director Radcliffe's statement.

00:03:07.600 So I think that this reflects a, you know, a difference between understanding the ramifications of what this material means and being outside of government and being able to, you know, spin a narrative or believe, you know, not have that raw intelligence to understand.

00:03:25.220 And I think that's a really important point. Much of this was really raw intelligence that was later in the same documents demonstrated to not fit the conclusions that the White House was telling us that it fit.

00:03:38.140 And so I think that that is the danger here. That's why we have such a kind of exhaustive and multi-tiered process, why we have multiple agencies who review information and make recommendations.

00:03:50.680 It's so that we can, with certainty, make sure that raw intelligence is translated into something that is usable and actionable in a way that doesn't harm our national security.

00:04:03.200 Listen to some folks that Alex Tabbit talked to in Iowa.

00:04:07.820 First one is a three-time Donald Trump voter,

00:04:10.480 and the second is a 22-year-old man who did vote for Donald Trump in 24.

00:04:14.340 Let's listen.

00:04:17.280 Do you think that the president should be focusing on something else

00:04:20.080 other than elections of years past?

00:04:23.160 Yeah. 1.00

00:04:23.940 I mean, you know, we've got enough s*** going on right now with Iran and everybody. 1.00

00:04:27.600 We ought to be, you know, doing something over there and getting their ducks in a row. 1.00

00:04:32.760 How does that sound?

00:04:34.060 What do you think you should be focusing on instead?

00:04:36.800 I mean, our economy, you know, gas prices, you know, it's every time he gets into office, he says he's going to help farmers.

00:04:46.840 And now fertilizer prices are going way up because of events around the world. 1.00

00:04:52.720 And what's, you know, alarming is that the Iranians are adapting. 0.97

00:04:56.440 They have lots of missiles left. 0.82

00:04:57.880 And then, as you were just showing in that that great reporting, that they're firing multiple missiles at targets.

00:05:03.260 They're somehow learning to evade American air defenses. 0.82

00:05:06.180 And the vulnerability in Jordan is that Jordan is is fairly close to Iran. 0.67

00:05:10.140 So these are ballistic missiles that travel at incredibly fast speeds. 0.95

00:05:13.560 And apparently, you know, the Rhyans have found a way to get them in there without being intercepted by American defenses.

00:05:20.060 That's very concerning. And, you know, we can talk about this more separately.

00:05:22.920 But a separate really alarming development is that the Houthi rebels who are based in Yemen, they're allied with Iran, they're supplied and backed by Iran.

00:05:32.520 They're now threatening to shut down a second waterway, one on the Red Sea, to blockade Saudi oil exports through that route.

00:05:42.540 So that just adds to this moment.

00:05:44.620 And essentially, you know, the Trump administration is on the precipice of all out war again with Iran.

00:05:52.920 Sam, he's not focused on the things that people want him to focus on.

00:05:56.400 I wonder if part of it is because he just doesn't have the ability to sell it any longer.

00:06:01.380 Paul Waldman writing. I believe this is in The Atlantic as well.

00:06:05.960 It's a sub stack. I'm sorry. Public notice sub stack.

00:06:08.840 He compared President Trump to President Biden, who lost the ability to be an effective spokesperson for his own agenda.

00:06:16.320 Didn't have the bully pulpit any longer. And he says Donald Trump has reached that same point.

00:06:20.480 He can still command attention, but he can no longer convince anyone who isn't part of his cult of anything.

00:06:25.920 Not that the Iran war is a great victory, not that the economy is better than ever, not that there were respect were respected around the world and not that when Republicans lose this election, it was stolen from them.

00:06:36.880 And the fact that he has lost whatever power of persuasion he once had will go a long way to keep the election safe from his attempts to undermine it. 0.67

00:06:46.460 So that's a that's an optimistic view of what might happen in November.

00:06:49.820 But I think the thing that I find so compelling here is that Donald Trump does not have that power of persuasion any longer.

00:06:57.540 Do you agree?

00:07:00.020 Well, I think a couple of things are happening here.

00:07:02.760 One is lack of power persuasion.

00:07:04.460 Two is essentially what is happening with Bill Pulte, which is there's a difference between being outside the government and then being inside the government.

00:07:11.720 So Trump's able to talk about deep state conspiracies, he's able to talk about, you know, the need to get rid of, you know, open up the Epstein files and lowering energy costs by 50 percent and bringing an end to the war in Ukraine within 24 hours when he's not president.

00:07:26.000 But then when you are president, you know, you sort of have to answer for those those issues.

00:07:30.320 And I think that's a problem. But, you know, why do he why is he obsessed with the stuff when when the voters don't really seem to care that much?

00:07:37.220 it's because he's just this is the stuff that tickles him it's the stuff that gets him going

00:07:41.680 he's long been a conspiracy theorist around the election he can't give it up and that's something

00:07:46.340 he's never going to give up frankly because it's it's what animates him it's not i will just say

00:07:51.720 it was notable that fox news didn't cover this the next day part of that's litigation obviously

00:07:57.020 because they don't want to deal with another defamation suit but i think that they also

00:08:01.300 recognize that this isn't the stuff that animates the base as much as it used to i think the entire

00:08:05.580 purpose of that speech that he gave last week was to lay the predicate for doing stuff in the

00:08:11.180 election now will it pass muster i don't know uh but you know you can make the case that he wants

00:08:16.200 to nationalize the elections or that even after the elections are done he'll say well this was

00:08:20.140 contaminated by foreign interference or non-citizen voting and therefore we can't trust or seek these

00:08:25.760 people uh who rightfully won the election we have plenty of history of trump meddling in elections

00:08:31.720 Look back to January 6th. Right. Like, I don't think that this is no longer an issue to be concerned about.

00:08:37.800 Tom, do you think there are levers of power that he's going to be able to use?

00:08:42.660 Yes, I do. And look, I think that this analysis saying that, well, Trump has lost his powers of persuasion and his whole focus on the election.

00:08:50.080 This is all signs of desperation. I don't buy any of that.

00:08:53.780 I think he has a profound core belief that the 2020 election was stolen and he wants to just keep riding that horse.

00:09:01.720 That's what we've seen. I also disagree with the idea that maybe some in the White House hold that the road to midterm success for the Republicans is by relitigating the 2020 election.

00:09:13.100 I tend to agree with Senators Cornyn and Cassidy that it is not something that's going to motivate voters.

00:09:18.720 But I don't think that's what's motivating the president to keep raising the issue here.

00:09:22.380 I don't think he sees this as something where he is going to persuade large numbers of people to come out and vote Republican because of what he's doing.

00:09:29.820 I think, if anything, what he's doing is seeding the bed, is creating the conditions under which it will make it easier for him either to take steps in advance of the election to secure the integrity of the election, or if the election doesn't turn out the way he would like it to turn out, to take post-election steps, either by asserting greater federal control, recounts, changing outcomes, that sort of thing.

00:09:51.740 So I think that's his game here, rather than any sign of desperation or because he's lost his powers of persuasion.

00:09:58.100 We've written his political obituary many times, and I don't think we need to write one here.

00:10:02.180 But can I try and go to the bigger picture and what's happening?

00:10:07.160 What I think is going on right now, and you've got to take a look at the operational campaign of both nations. 0.65

00:10:12.620 So instead of merely destroying weapons, the U.S. bombing things and striking things, the U.S. now appears to be attacking the systems and encircling the cities that allow Iran to regenerate military power. 0.64

00:10:28.020 That's also an attempt to reduce their societal will because the Trump administration believes there's a split between the Republican guards and the Ayatollah and the citizens. 0.60

00:10:39.040 So they are bombing places like Bandar Abbas and Isfahan, transportation hubs, bridges, fuel distribution sites.

00:10:48.800 And that's not, yes, that's separating the IRGC from its support system, but it's also increasing economic pressure, so they think, on the Iranian government.

00:10:58.600 And they believe they're trying to force a strategic decision that would present Iran's leadership with that decision on whether they continue the conflict or go back to the negotiating table.

00:11:11.660 Now, on the other hand, Iran, they're keeping the straits closed. 0.60

00:11:15.880 They're continuing to deplete U.S. defense capabilities, especially the rockets or the air defense systems that we have in the region. 0.89

00:11:23.840 They're dividing the U.S. from their allies in the region, as we've seen in Jordan and Qatar and Kuwait and the UAE.

00:11:31.480 They are hurting us tactically because they know that the U.S. will focus on individual combat deaths, as we did this weekend,

00:11:40.320 three combat deaths while there have been thousands killed inside of Iran.

00:11:46.180 They're opening new fronts for the proxies, like David just mentioned, especially the Houthis in the Bab al-Mandab Strait.

00:11:52.780 That could close another waterway and could cause even more economic problems. 0.92

00:11:58.780 So what the Iranians are doing while we're bombing locations, they're trading space for time and they're putting our allies and internal elements in the United States against us. 0.98

00:12:09.420 So when you look at not the what that they're doing, but the why they're doing it, it becomes pretty clear to me if I'm analyzing this conflict that Iran still has the upper hand. 0.97

00:12:21.320 Do you think he'll declare it a national emergency? 0.70

00:12:24.740 I don't. I don't. That said, I think that he will take or pull whatever federal levers of power he has, both in advance of the election and subsequent to the election.

00:12:37.100 And look, a lot of these powers that he could exercise don't require him declaring a state of emergency.

00:12:42.740 So I'm not convinced that that's the road he's going to take. But do I think he is going to explore and this White House is going to explore whatever they can do before and after the election? Yes, I do.

00:12:52.800 it's monday 20 july in the year of our lord 2026 there's more than enough evidence already

00:12:59.940 to declare a national security emergency there's more than enough evidence been laid out as a

00:13:05.280 predicate for actions the president has taken now the president still has and they're they're here

00:13:11.960 until august 10th i think so they're here for a couple more weeks and they're discussing i don't

00:13:18.260 want to call them gimmicks. Let me call them alternatives. Alternatives to a U.S. Senate

00:13:22.880 that is basically treating the president of the United States as a lame duck. You can read any

00:13:27.440 article you want. The Republican establishment has absolutely zero interest in election integrity.

00:13:33.200 They have zero. This is why it's been crickets from places like the Republican establishment

00:13:37.540 in Georgia, right? And of course, on Capitol Hill and Fox News. Fox News is not going to step in,

00:13:45.000 folks, because they called the Arizona election at, what, 8 o'clock at night and then paid

00:13:51.540 an $800 million fine to a company that obviously didn't need to pay a fine for?

00:13:55.580 What is that about?

00:13:57.780 Very confusing.

00:13:59.740 And quite confusing why, of course, Murdoch's association with the CCP, his kowtowing to

00:14:06.760 the CCP all the time, but they have not covered one second of that.

00:14:10.680 That being said, the evidence is overwhelming and more evidence is going to come out laying the predicate why you have to have either an executive order or some type of executive action, either from DHS or the intel agencies or the FBI to secure the 2020 election.

00:14:31.700 Obviously, ICE has to be there. The situation with illegal aliens and quote-unquote alien non-citizens on the voter rolls, 278,000.

00:14:43.620 We're going to get to all that. We're going to break it all down as it heats up today in Washington, D.C.

00:14:48.460 Steve Cortez is going to join us and talk about the invasion, not just simply of the United States, but the great state of Maine.

00:14:55.900 From Somalia, next.

00:14:57.620 we wouldn't be celebrating america 250 if it wasn't for a strong foundation set by the framers

00:16:16.740 do it and do it today

00:16:20.860 Guys, oh my god, oh my god, oh my god, get away from there, oh my god, get away from

00:16:47.940 there! No, no, no! Get away from there! Oh my god! Get away! Oh my god!

00:17:17.940 Mr. Arabaka came to arms with bad intentions.

00:17:29.440 I will say that 26 Federal Plaza has long been a target of extremists, of terrorists.

00:17:37.140 And today, the extremism was brought here.

00:17:40.580 The building was attacked.

00:17:42.900 Mr. Arabaka was looking to injure people and harm people.

00:17:47.940 He had two axes, a hammer, a machete, and three knives, fixed-blade knives.

00:17:57.740 He had, as I said earlier, six incendiary devices or fireworks, and he had some other destructive items.

00:18:04.560 On his cart, he had a cart. He had anti-ICE literature on it.

00:18:10.900 When he was being arrested, he yelled derogatory terms to ICE, used bad words, obviously.

00:18:16.420 he is an anti-american anti-government extremist we know that from what he said

00:18:24.540 we know that from what he has said post arrest and we know that from what his actions that he

00:18:30.720 tried to take today his goal was to target the building he said that in a i'm not going to get

00:18:36.700 into all the details of a post-arrest interview but he was mirandized i read his rights he did

00:18:43.720 agreed to talk in that post-arrest interview. He did say he was targeting the building and he was

00:18:50.820 okay if he hurt or killed people going in and out of the building, whether they were federal

00:18:55.940 employees or civilians. I would mention a lot of business was killed, not by the Federal

00:19:03.080 Protective Services, Federal Protective Services, once they mitigated the situation. The building

00:19:07.840 remained open, employees could come and go, and we continue to do work. But some agencies decided

00:19:13.600 to close business for the day. There was a naturalization ceremony scheduled for today

00:19:19.240 that was canceled. And the one civilian victim was an immigrant that had a hearing today

00:19:25.940 for their immigration status. So that's quite unfortunate and quite ironic at the same time.

00:19:32.900 On the scene was recovered, among other things, two airsoft rifles and the container

00:19:37.740 with the flammable liquid. Also affixed to the suspect's cart was a sign reading

00:19:43.180 ice off our streets. During the incident, the suspect was wearing a military-style

00:19:49.060 helmet. This incident occurred along federal property, and the NYPD is supporting the

00:19:54.720 federal government in their investigations. Charges are yet to be filed. Our work with

00:20:00.400 the Joint Terrorism Task Force and the Southern District of New York is critical to keeping our

00:20:05.200 city safe, and I commend the federal agents and contractors and officers who responded to the

00:20:12.140 We are still awaiting a lot of details. I think you are expectant that there could be.

00:20:17.680 Okay, guys, thank you. Normally the key is when I first start talking. Okay, thanks.

00:20:25.620 Steve Cortez, is his rhetoric, his actions are, but his rhetoric is only slightly less inflammatory

00:20:34.740 than the mayor of New York City and the people around the mayor, right?

00:20:38.080 I mean, they're open and defiant about ICE coming in on federal law.

00:20:43.000 You know, we keep talking about Mandami saying he's going to arrest Netanyahu, he's going to do this, he's going to do that.

00:20:49.180 But so far, we've let him get away with, and all these sanctuary city mayors, basically, except for the worst hombres, and I'm not even sure we do that in New York City.

00:20:58.600 There's no effort to go in and confront these elected officials.

00:21:03.300 And what you end up having is then a lack of respect for ICE.

00:21:08.000 And you have a guy like this today that wants to, you know, either blow up the building or blow apart the building or injure people as they come out and target these heroic patriotic ICE agents, sir.

00:21:21.420 They are patriotic, and this is a stark reminder of the dangers that these brave ICE agents face.

00:21:27.140 Speaking of bravery, I commend that law enforcement group there.

00:21:30.560 They ran toward the danger, which, of course, is what brave cops do. 0.99

00:21:33.340 They apprehended and neutered this scumbag, thankfully, very, very quickly. 0.97

00:21:37.040 But they go toward the fire, toward the literal fire in this case and toward the danger to protect our country. 0.99

00:21:41.680 But you're exactly right. It's not just this cretin who is responsible. 0.99

00:21:45.780 It's also the inspiration for him coming from the mayor of the most important city in the entire world. 0.97

00:21:52.400 Zoran Mamdani is effectively engaged in a nullification project.

00:21:56.780 where he is nullifying federal law and saying your laws don't pertain to my city and my left-wing

00:22:03.700 Marxist jihadi approach is going to run this city, not the people of the United States. We need to

00:22:09.780 come to terms with just how dangerous that proposition is because the U.S. hasn't faced

00:22:13.720 something like this since the days leading up to the Civil War, where you had renegade local

00:22:19.040 leaders saying your laws don't pertain to me. So we have not faced this in a very long time

00:22:23.180 in such a dangerous and stark manner.

00:22:25.820 And that's who Mondani is, let's face it.

00:22:28.180 And he is, in fact, motivating people like this.

00:22:31.640 He and his ilk in elected office,

00:22:33.260 I'm talking about people like Ilhan Omar, like AOC, 1.00

00:22:36.540 they are encouraging and motivating people like this scumbag 1.00

00:22:40.460 who tried to kill federal agents today. 0.99

00:22:42.320 They are encouraging and motivating people like Luigi Mangione.

00:22:46.000 This is the left we face today, Steve.

00:22:47.700 It gives me no pleasure to say this, okay?

00:22:49.900 But look, this is what the Democrat Party is becoming.

00:22:53.180 It is a Marxist-jihadi nullification alliance that hates the United States, that viscerally hates the United States.

00:23:00.840 And we cannot confront and defeat our enemy unless we're willing to recognize and describe who they are exactly.

00:23:09.280 And so, you know, we can't get lost in sort of social niceties.

00:23:11.640 We can't talk about bipartisanship.

00:23:13.020 No, this is an opponent to be vanquished, an opponent that would ruin the United States, that seeks to,

00:23:18.360 An opponent that increasingly uses violence as a means of political power acquisition.

00:23:24.240 We see it right here, unfortunately, in brutal display in the middle of Manhattan today.

00:23:29.480 And all of us who are patriotic citizens need to back ICE even more.

00:23:33.720 So not only is this not a time to slow down enforcement, in fact, it's a time to accelerate enforcement in this country.

00:23:40.800 Let's have ICE's back even more. Let's get even more aggressive.

00:23:44.720 We should be going to more workplaces.

00:23:46.280 Of course, to your point, I should be at the polling places to make sure that we have a clean election in November and that foreigners don't change the votes in these cities because we know that people like Mondani are trying to get them to do exactly that.

00:23:58.300 So, you know, in a strange, twisted sense, perhaps it's good for the country to see something as shocking as what we saw today.

00:24:04.420 we have you know we're ramping up uh these uh and i think the military analysts described it

00:24:12.280 um you know accurately in that we're going we're system active we're going through the systems in

00:24:17.760 iran going through their systems their cities are trying to break off their their leadership from

00:24:22.420 these um from these central locations of commerce and capital and uh and you know where their people

00:24:29.180 are here in the united states it just can't be ice we have to have a whole of government

00:24:33.460 you're a capital markets guy that came from chicago worked there and then worked in new york

00:24:38.240 we have boston new york chicago minneapolis portland uh seattle san francisco los angeles

00:24:47.140 and others some of the greatest cities in world history that are under control of people that

00:24:53.320 just sit there and thumb their nose to federal law and we've backed down there's no enforcement

00:24:57.700 i mean maybe we're going after some of the bad hombres right but there's you know i've talked

00:25:01.860 to the mass deportation people i've talked to numbers usa people people inside the government

00:25:06.820 now over dhs it's adam it's they're saying no we're not we're not we're there is no mass deportation

00:25:12.340 program underway you know mullins can come out and say anything he wants it's just not happening

00:25:16.580 how this is just festering it's not going to get better and a midterm election doesn't matter

00:25:22.960 because the people that voted for president trump support this in fact many of the independents and

00:25:29.320 modern Democrats support it. This is why they voted for President Trump. What has to happen

00:25:33.880 here? The whole government, in one of the reconciliation bills, there's a billion dollars

00:25:38.480 for rebuilding the tunnel in New York City or Penn Station or something. We're continuing to

00:25:46.260 fund them. If you look at the budget bill, we're giving New York City, these metropolitan areas,

00:25:50.960 and all the social welfare programs, they're fully funded. If we don't shut it all down,

00:25:55.740 it ain't going to shut it down itself, sir. No, absolutely not. It will not happen from just

00:26:00.140 inertia or, you know, the patriotic goodwill of these folks because they're not patriots and

00:26:04.660 there's no goodwill. They're violent nihilist leftists and we need to realize that. So yes,

00:26:09.540 what do we do though? What's the action plan? First of all, get as tough as possible on

00:26:13.520 deportations. No more talk like this ridiculous headline about the Secretary of Homeland Security 0.59

00:26:18.180 cooperating with big business because big business is worried about losing its illegal migrant

00:26:22.620 workforce. No, no more of that BS. But in terms of affirmative action that can be taken,

00:26:28.620 accelerating deportations, particularly at work sites. We also need to, to your point,

00:26:33.300 cut off the funds to these renegade cities. You need to choke the beast because they're 0.94

00:26:37.500 totally dependent on federal dollars. We have earned federal power, earned it through the

00:26:42.300 ballot box, through an amazing 2024 win, including the popular vote win. Let's now use the power that

00:26:47.880 was entrusted to our movement. And immigration, by the way, immigration control remains by far 0.80

00:26:53.280 the strongest area in all of my polling for President Trump, for the Republican Party,

00:26:57.640 for our movement. It is by far the best issue. And yet it's the first issue where establishment

00:27:02.480 Republicans want us to cave and go soft. But then let me give you an additional action item,

00:27:06.500 Steve, that I think is very necessary. It should have already been used. In the case of these

00:27:10.600 mayors, we've got to go arrest some of these mayors. For example, Jacob Fry, that scumbag 0.99

00:27:15.560 in Minneapolis. He should have been arrested when he was clearly instigating revolts against 1.00

00:27:21.300 federal law enforcement, against ICE agents, against Customs and Border Patrol in his city

00:27:25.600 of Minneapolis. Go arrest these guys. Arrest Mamdani. They are committing crimes when they

00:27:31.520 encourage this kind of illegality. Steve, hang on for one second. We're going to get into

00:27:36.760 people who may be shocked about this. What happened in Minnesota is happening in Maine

00:27:40.540 to a huge degree and you've got investigative reporting on it 866-513-5516 that's 866-513-5516

00:29:45.420 ...cathedral in Lewiston, Maine. French Catholics founded and settled this place and they built

00:29:52.160 amazing structures to glorify God. They brought the best from the old world to the new world.

00:29:58.480 Very different reality now with tens of thousands of African third world migrants arriving in this country, 1.00

00:30:03.980 especially Somalis settling here in Lewiston. 1.00

00:30:08.040 They're not building these kinds of structures. 1.00

00:30:10.340 They're not coming here to make great things. 0.91

00:30:12.400 They're coming to take from the United States through schemes, through frauds, not assimilating. 1.00

00:30:18.720 That's the kind of immigration we used to have. 1.00

00:30:21.060 That's what we still should have. 1.00

00:30:22.860 So I'm here in Lewiston, Maine, in small town, rural Maine.

00:30:26.720 And there is a mosque that might surprise you, but that's because there are thousands and thousands of Somalis in Lewiston, Maine. 0.92

00:30:35.000 This is not working at all for this community, not working at large for the United States, this mass migration from the third world, particularly Muslim mass migration.

00:30:44.300 I'm filming a documentary. A lot more content ahead. 0.78

00:30:48.740 Steve, it's known if you talk to people up there, they're stealing with both hands.

00:30:52.980 they got these bogus social world for us how did they end up they want to go to places like

00:30:58.160 minneapolis or and they want to go to places like maine because what people won't bother them they

00:31:03.100 can congregate they get then they can get political power while they're there it kind of seems

00:31:08.300 far-fetched that if you're from somalia why would you end up in maine which the climate has to be

00:31:14.300 absolutely brutal correct right right they didn't go for the main winters but no but you ask a great

00:31:19.260 question. And the answer, I think, both in the case of Minnesota and Maine, is that you had

00:31:23.180 these left-leaning states with extremely high-trust societies. And so that level of trust

00:31:29.380 was then manipulated. And that level of self-guilt was manipulated by American NGOs

00:31:34.120 and by these third-world migrants themselves. In the case specifically of the Somalis in Maine, 1.00

00:31:39.100 they're a bit different than the Minnesota story. Most of them have been here for some time. Most

00:31:42.780 of them came here in the Black Hawk Down era. So this is a classic, awful, tragic case of

00:31:49.120 invade the world and invite the world because we had so destabilized Somalia. And because we 0.98

00:31:54.500 injected ourselves into that conflict, we then felt somehow compelled to allow refugees to come 0.60

00:31:59.640 to the United States. Most of them first came to Atlanta, Georgia, but they weren't welcomed

00:32:03.880 with open arms. It wasn't easy for them to scam and cheat the system there. And so they then

00:32:08.440 went in mass to Maine, believe it or not. And Lewiston is a town of only 38,000 people, Steve.

00:32:14.200 And like a lot of the towns where this kind of invasion happens, it was a down-on-its-luck town.

00:32:19.660 It was a former mill town. It thrived in the era when American factories were humming.

00:32:23.320 Particularly there, it was textile mills, mostly staffed by French immigrants, either from France itself or that came down from French Canada.

00:32:30.900 And though it was a working-class place, it was a beautiful place.

00:32:33.540 And that's why I really wanted to show your viewers, and I'll highlight this in the documentary itself, the contrast.

00:32:38.460 That basilica, Steve, it's one of the most beautiful churches I've seen in the United States.

00:32:42.180 I would put the basilica in troubled Lewiston, Maine.

00:32:45.760 I'd put that basilica up against some of the great cathedrals I've seen in Europe. 1.00

00:32:49.760 And clearly, these French migrants wanted to bring the best of the old world.

00:32:53.660 And again, as I mentioned there, they were makers, not takers. 1.00

00:32:56.900 We now see the exact opposite with these Somalis, even the ones who've been there for decades. 1.00

00:33:00.880 They have not assimilated in any sense. 1.00

00:33:03.260 The schools in Lewiston, Maine, the public schools are now majority foreign language learners.

00:33:08.580 test scores, as you might guess, have absolutely plunged. Gun crime has skyrocketed. And right

00:33:14.620 next to that pathetic mosque, I wanted to show that building, too, because I think it's important, 1.00

00:33:18.580 what the prior immigrants, what they built versus what this new group is building, 1.00

00:33:23.380 that dilapidated pathetic mosque, right next to that, Steve, I mean, feet away is the main NGO 1.00

00:33:29.880 that serves as the funnel for all of the scams that the Somalis are running. And they're in Maine. 1.00

00:33:35.740 And by the way, I interviewed the head of the main wire, Steve Robinson, who's just doing fantastic work, and he is exposing what these Somali migrants are doing in the scams. 1.00

00:33:43.920 It's a lot like Minnesota, not quite as big, but the same kinds of scams, mostly related to health care, Medicare, Medicaid fraud. 1.00

00:33:51.920 And a lot of it in this case, which is really appalling, Steve, is being sent back to Somalia to fund a civil war to the semi-autonomous state known as Jubaland.

00:34:01.680 Now, most Americans probably have never heard of Jubaland, okay?

00:34:04.360 But it's an area, semi-autonomous area, in the south of Sudan that is effectively at war with Mogadishu.

00:34:09.460 And guess what? The taxpayers of Maine are paying for this conflict through scams.

00:34:15.600 So not only do the good people of Maine have to deal with these unassimilated Muslim migrants in their community, 1.00

00:34:20.920 but on top of it, their money is getting sent to the homeland of these problematic Somalis to fund a civil war. 1.00

00:34:27.760 And by the way, Maine, all of a sudden, which has a balanced budget requirement, Maine all of a sudden has a huge budget shortfall. 0.98

00:34:33.460 And the main reason is excessive unplanned spending in Medicaid and Medicare and a lot of that coming through scams from the Somalis. 1.00

00:34:43.640 So my message is, you know, and I hope through this film is to wake people up. 1.00

00:34:47.840 And this isn't only happening in Minnesota. It's happening in a lot of small towns in America.

00:34:51.800 I previously went to Charleroi, Pennsylvania. Very similar story there.

00:34:54.880 It's Haitians, but a very similar story and much more recent arrivals. Joe Biden did that to Charleroi, Pennsylvania, another working class town that was having a tough time and then had this absolute disaster thrust upon it.

00:35:06.380 So trying to give a voice to these people who are fighting back, who are proud of their communities and expose the scam for what it is and make the case, Steve. 0.83

00:35:14.720 And I know this is provocative and controversial that we shouldn't have Muslim migration into the United States. 0.98

00:35:19.700 It is not compatible with our society, with our values, with our constitution and with Western civilization. 1.00

00:35:26.340 What is are the folks up there? How are they fighting back?

00:35:30.140 This seems so over the top and so obvious. It should be pretty straightforward to shut down.

00:35:33.840 Why is it not being shut down? And and what are you doing with this documentary to have the backs of the people that want to shut it down?

00:35:42.620 Yeah, well, the first thing is exposure, of course.

00:35:45.020 And as I said, MainWire is the premier alternative media source up there, and they're doing a fantastic job.

00:35:50.460 So the more that we can make people aware of them nationally, I think that's important.

00:35:54.560 But to answer your question, no, right now, not much is being done.

00:35:57.220 There are some indictments, thankfully.

00:35:58.540 The Trump administration has indicted people.

00:36:00.680 So it's not going to happen, I think, unfortunately, from Maine. 1.00

00:36:03.340 They have a terrible governor, Janet Mills, an awful Democrat who is so unpopular she couldn't even win her own primary. 0.92

00:36:08.440 It's hard for a sitting governor to not win the primary for the Senate race. 0.97

00:36:12.000 That's why Plattner ran away with that nomination until he got, of course, upended by the Democrat establishment.

00:36:18.040 But no, not much is going on, unfortunately, at the state level.

00:36:21.560 But we do need more federal indictments, more federal scrutiny about what's going on there.

00:36:26.420 And by the way, too, there are a lot of connections between that Lewiston Somali community and the much larger Somali community in Minnesota.

00:36:33.320 But I'd also say this. In some ways, it's even worse for Maine. 0.76

00:36:36.480 and here's why. Maine only has 1.4 million people. It's a giant state in land, but it's tiny in

00:36:41.220 population. They don't have a big budget. They have a shortfall now projected of $200 million.

00:36:46.540 For them, that's massive. Minnesota is a much bigger state. And look, the steel's not okay.

00:36:52.000 Of course not. The fraud, the systemic larceny in Minnesota is still awful, but at least it's

00:36:57.200 a large state that financially is capable of absorbing it. That's not the case in Maine.

00:37:01.540 If this continues at this level in Maine, the state will be bankrupt. 0.51

00:37:05.200 And old folks in Maine who deserve and need quality medical care, they're not going to get it because too much of it is being funneled to the Somalis and ultimately out of the country to buy guns for a conflict for a state that no American has ever heard of. 0.54

00:37:18.680 I mean, Steve, this is outrageous.

00:37:20.480 This is what the left has done to us in this country, and it's what they've done to a beautiful place like Maine.

00:37:25.480 I would also point out, too, in Maine, in so many ways, you know this, of course, Steve, but in so many ways, it's two states, right?

00:37:30.940 It's the entitled elites on the coast, many of whom are only there part-time.

00:37:35.700 They're from New York and Boston.

00:37:37.380 The private equity folks who own the beautiful, glittering coastal properties of Maine is

00:37:42.300 a very different place, of course, from working-class inland Maine, which is very rugged and really

00:37:47.140 culturally more almost like a place you'd find in the American West or in the rural

00:37:51.940 Midwest of the United States.

00:37:54.040 So in many ways, it's two mains. 0.56

00:37:55.760 but those working class, proud, patriotic Americans that can't afford to live in the 1.00

00:38:02.320 mansions of Kennebunkport, they're the ones who are being most abused by this Somali scam. And it 1.00

00:38:08.100 is that. It is a scam. We have to wake up in this country and realize that we're not doing a good

00:38:13.300 job even with legal immigration. And realize that. These Somalis, they're here legally, okay? A lot

00:38:18.960 of them now, they've been here long enough, they were born here in the United States. But Steve,

00:38:22.380 they're not assimilating. They're not becoming Americans. They don't believe in our values. 0.97

00:38:26.100 They don't work. And they unfortunately, and we need to realize this, Steve, and this is tough

00:38:30.560 talk, but it's necessary. A lot of third world folks, especially if they're Muslim, they actually 1.00

00:38:36.420 believe that scamming us isn't even wrong. In fact, they believe it's something noble if you're 1.00

00:38:41.680 able to pull off the scam effectively against the Americans. So there's no shame in a lot of these

00:38:46.380 communities. And in fact, often it's the opposites. Oh, good for you. You figured out a way to scam

00:38:50.960 the dumb white americans right uh to separate them from their money without working yeah let's 1.00

00:38:56.900 be honest about this the dumb white christians uh platner when platner ran i don't remember him 1.00

00:39:03.180 ever this is the when people come and say what's the difference between right-wing populism 0.99

00:39:06.720 and left-wing populism they're all globalists platner never made this an issue correct

00:39:11.340 he never he never brought up this is my point to be a democrat and be a left-wing populist

00:39:17.060 is completely phony because you're really not protecting working people you're like because

00:39:21.240 maine has got three things maine is one of the leaders in the transgender radical transgender

00:39:25.980 ideology maine's one of the one of the leaders uh you've also gotten the main wire by the way

00:39:31.660 which broke all those stories the main wire also exposed the chinese communist party funding uh

00:39:37.160 the china the drug industry in maine by chinese nationals that are buying up real estate from

00:39:42.340 local real estate uh brokers and it and you ask steven why is it not why is nobody politician

00:39:49.220 doing he says hey the left-wing media elite from new york city from manhattan and from and from

00:39:54.640 boston come up here to summer uh on the coast and basically approve all this and that's why you

00:39:59.980 don't stop it so you've got every aspect of trying to crush and destroy working class life you see

00:40:05.880 in maine is a perfect example and the left-wing populace like our quote-unquote populace like

00:40:10.760 AOC and Plattner are driving this agenda. Yeah, no, 100 percent. And you're exactly right.

00:40:17.100 Immigration is the fault line, right, so often. And it certainly is when people try to say to 0.99

00:40:21.840 those of us in the populist right, oh, you're just like those folks in the populist left. No.

00:40:26.120 You know, the key fault line, the key separation, the chasm, the widest chasm between us is over 0.97

00:40:32.500 immigration because we want to prioritize the citizens of the United States and the so-called

00:40:37.380 populist left, the Mondanis, the AOCs, the Bernie Sanders of the world, they believe in a globalist

00:40:43.060 approach and that foreigners have every right, every much of a right to American property, to

00:40:47.360 American benefits, to American life, as do American citizens. So, I mean, to me, that is the clearest,

00:40:54.180 starkest distinction between what the so-called populist left believes versus what we in the

00:40:59.320 patriotic nationalist populist right believe. And I would also point out, by the way, in terms of

00:41:03.540 the damage being done to Maine. So I spent a lot of time there. Portland, Maine was once a really

00:41:08.120 beautiful city. It looks way too much now like the other Portland because of liberal policies.

00:41:12.860 All of these coastal liberal cities, they have been ruined by liberal policies. And what you

00:41:18.740 now see in Portland, Maine, like Portland, Oregon, is open drug use all over the streets. A lot of

00:41:23.600 Somalis there too, by the way. They didn't just stay in Lewiston. You see a lot of hajibs in

00:41:27.620 Portland, Maine. There are wonderful parts to Portland, Maine, of course. Incredible seafood,

00:41:31.740 incredible history. But at the same time, then you have hijebs, you have open air drug dens, 1.00

00:41:36.740 you have this urban camping phenomenon, you know, the tents everywhere. And it does seem to me, 0.99

00:41:41.120 though, that something is really percolating in Maine. And we have a chance there, unlike

00:41:45.660 Portland, Oregon, where I don't think there really is a chance statewide, unfortunately.

00:41:49.120 Maine is different. You know, Susan Collins, a Republican, not exactly a right winger,

00:41:52.840 but a Republican, you know, has been the senator there for decades, I think is going to win 0.97

00:41:57.240 re-election. And the good work of Maine Wire, I think, is waking a lot of people up. I hope my

00:42:02.200 documentary is going to be part of that, not just in Maine, but all over the country. And this is

00:42:06.360 something that we need to confront, Steve. It's a big part of saving our country. I believe in an

00:42:10.380 all-out immigration moratorium. I'm talking legal immigration. I think we need to take a pause 1.00

00:42:14.580 entirely. But at the least, we need to say we can't invite in third-world migrants, especially 1.00

00:42:19.520 Muslim ones, who do not subscribe to our worldview and are coming here to steal from us. 1.00

00:42:23.300 The 278,000 of four states, a ton of those are, you know, quote unquote, non-citizen legal aliens. 1.00

00:42:32.140 They're here a scam of the system trying to get the vote. 0.99

00:42:34.400 Real quickly, I want you to give your coordinates where they go.

00:42:36.980 But is it Jubiland?

00:42:38.120 Isn't that – doesn't Israel recognize – isn't Israel the only country in the world who recognizes that as a country?

00:42:43.020 Am I bringing up a sore subject?

00:42:45.920 No, I didn't know that.

00:42:47.040 Let me look into it.

00:42:47.920 You're probably right, Steve.

00:42:49.060 You usually are.

00:42:50.560 There's something there.

00:42:51.780 There's something there.

00:42:52.960 I'll give you some information afterwards.

00:42:54.840 Steve Cortez, where do we go to get all these documentaries you're doing,

00:43:11.060 Appreciate it.

00:43:11.800 These things are absolutely, absolutely amazing.

00:43:14.320 Incredible.

00:45:07.640 By the way, Philip Patrick, I'm going to try to get him later in the week, also do another

00:45:10.960 discussion on the national, on the

00:45:14.100 budget, on the deficit, all of it, because

00:45:15.880 guess what? We're getting ready to

00:45:17.960 pass a CR to take us to the end of the

00:45:19.940 year. Have you seen this before?

00:45:21.720 Another CR with no cut, not one

00:45:23.940 penny cut in federal spending, not one.

00:45:26.240 In fact, increase, massive increases.

00:45:28.720 We've got to get our arms

00:45:30.020 around it, or this is going to be the thing

00:45:31.980 that really brings the country to

00:45:33.980 its knees, the financial crisis. Once you have a

00:45:35.920 financial crisis, then all the other issues

00:45:38.220 that we have 0.78

00:45:40.100 now from the invasion of the country are going to overwhelm us. One of the best news sites,

00:45:44.900 as you know, here we try to curate the best of news and analysis to show the war and posse every

00:45:51.580 day. Sean Davis joins us. I just got to give a hat tip. I mean, The Federalist is an extraordinary

00:45:56.720 site. The level of work that you guys put into it is extraordinary. I tell people I get to get

00:46:01.440 six or eight articles every day off The Federalist and just roll with that. It's so good.

00:46:07.420 You've particularly been very good on the invasion, on border security, on the whole issue of birthright citizenship.

00:46:16.800 Give me your perspective on that, because we just had Steve Cortez for 30 minutes about what's happening up in Maine. 0.85

00:46:22.340 And it's an example of how the nation's being shattered, particularly working class people and their society and their culture is being destroyed before us.

00:46:30.500 And it seems like it seems like we're powerless to stop it, sir. 1.00

00:46:35.480 Yeah, what a patriot, Steve, is.

00:46:37.880 America is for Americans.

00:46:40.100 It's right there in the declarations, right there in our founding documents.

00:46:44.120 America was created to secure the blessings of liberty for us and our posterity.

00:46:49.080 So America is for Americans.

00:46:51.180 And the great thing is that if you bring in the right people, they can become Americans one day.

00:46:55.940 It doesn't happen overnight, and it certainly doesn't happen after 20 or 30 or 40 years if the people you're letting in don't actually want to become Americans.

00:47:03.880 Instead, they just want to be in America.

00:47:06.860 And the Democrat Party has taken advantage of what has happened in this country over the last 50, maybe even 70 years,

00:47:13.880 where it's been flooded with people who want all of the bounty of America,

00:47:17.620 but aren't really interested in becoming Americans or joining in any of the obligations that make the country what it is.

00:47:24.680 And so what Democrats have realized is, hey, we can just import a whole bunch of people.

00:47:28.100 We no longer actually have to worry about convincing people in this country to go along with us.

00:47:33.260 We're just going to import our own voters. We're going to throw government money at them over time.

00:47:38.080 We'll eventually legalize them. And when they can vote, they're going to keep us in power. 0.72

00:47:41.420 That's the entire game. So unless we get serious about deporting people who aren't here legally, 1.00

00:47:47.680 deporting people who invaded our country and then rapidly, maybe even completely shutting down legal immigration 0.98

00:47:54.140 until we can get a hold on everything, our country is lost.

00:47:57.380 So to me, it's a simple math problem. And it's a question of do we have the will or do we not have the will

00:48:02.920 to remove people who don't belong here and actually put a premium on American citizenship. 0.77

00:48:09.420 We live in the greatest country on earth, and it's the greatest country on earth,

00:48:12.620 the greatest country in history because of the people here.

00:48:16.200 The American people make America great.

00:48:19.420 And if we have suddenly decided that we actually don't need Americans to make America great,

00:48:23.660 then we're not going to have America anymore.

00:48:25.360 It's that simple.

00:48:26.120 the polling and everything shows that the trump voters who would turn out in the midterms and

00:48:33.480 secure the house uh support these policies overwhelmingly but they continue to show the

00:48:38.220 president this polling today had dhs uh secretary i think leaked to the wall street journal that

00:48:44.660 they're reaching out to the business community because the business community's concerned that

00:48:48.680 they're not getting these low wages uh workers in here that are not citizens there's a bill up in

00:48:54.340 the House. It won't get passed with the bill in the House by, I think, 42 Republicans gives amnesty

00:49:00.940 to farm laborers who are not citizens. Since this is such a winning issue for us,

00:49:07.180 has been a winning issue for us, why are we blinking now?

00:49:11.420 Well, it's a problem that we've had for a long time in the Republican coalition,

00:49:15.440 where a lot of the money comes from big business, from big corporations who've gotten their money 0.92

00:49:20.080 by not hiring Americans, instead by functionally hiring slave labor, which is immigrants who they 0.90

00:49:25.580 can pay in cash, they're off the grid, they can pay them below market wages, and that's all they 0.99

00:49:31.500 care about. They don't actually care about protecting the country. They don't care about

00:49:35.300 protecting our culture, our way of life, revering our history, protecting our traditions. They care

00:49:40.580 about their bottom line, and they've basically made clear, you know, the business interests

00:49:46.700 on the right, all we care about is the bottom line. We don't actually care about the country.

00:49:51.820 And the great thing about Donald Trump, why he was such a revolutionary politician,

00:49:56.460 is that he came in and said, no, we actually have to save the country. We have to close the border.

00:50:01.120 We have to get rid of the illegals. They're destroying the country. And we are in the midst 1.00

00:50:05.640 of, we're not at the beginning. We're not at the end. We're in the midst of an existential battle

00:50:10.300 for the party. And there are a lot of people who thought when Trump won again in 2024,

00:50:14.580 that that battle was over, but it's not.

00:50:17.220 We're in the middle of it, and if we give up now, we have no chance.

00:50:21.280 So we have to keep fighting, and we have to keep fighting against people

00:50:24.160 who care far more about their pocketbooks than they actually do

00:50:26.560 about the American people or the continued success of the American project.

00:50:32.060 The speech the other night from the president, the remarks from the East Room

00:50:35.600 were historic, never been done before by our president,

00:50:38.060 but part of it centered on the Chinese Communist Party

00:50:40.480 and what they've done to try to steal elections,

00:50:43.000 steal the 2020 election away from Trump and get rid of him, but also the issue of illegal aliens

00:50:49.080 and alien non-citizens registering to vote. A couple of the major networks decided not to

00:50:56.380 carry it all. The other one cut away. You've made the case that you believe we should start the

00:51:00.600 process to call into question, pull their licenses, their broadcast license, which would

00:51:05.960 essentially destroy their business model. We got about 90 seconds. Your thoughts on that, sir?

00:51:10.280 Yeah. So the thing that people need to remember is the broadcast networks, which are ABC, CBS, NBC, and I think Fox, they have a monopoly on airwaves that are owned by the public. The airwaves belong to the American people.

00:51:24.480 And in exchange for the networks doing certain things like doing actual news programs, doing programming that's to the benefit of the whole country, we allow them to have that monopoly. They don't have a birthright to it.

00:51:37.280 We don't believe in birthright broadband monopolies here in this country.

00:51:42.140 They have the privilege of a limited monopoly on the airwaves and under the rules that we have.

00:51:47.200 We're not talking about new rules or new laws.

00:51:49.320 They are supposed to do certain things that they do not do.

00:51:52.900 Instead, they act like Democrat Party super PACs, like Democrat Party organs, and they go and they treat their news programs as if they are Democrat Party commercials.

00:52:02.380 It's how you have Stephanopoulos at ABC and all this left-wing propaganda nonsense for Democrats.

00:52:07.720 They're abusing their monopoly control of the airwaves, and it needs to stop.

00:52:13.620 Sean, where do we go to get The Federalist every day?

00:53:23.320 filing more tax liens, and collecting billions more in recent years.
