Bannon's War Room - Episode 5537： Where We Stand With SAVE Act; Going After Jack Smith

00:00:00.000 and everything else that goes on. So make it too big to rig. Remember my statement,

00:00:03.780 too big to rig. Make it too big to rig and watch those machines.

00:00:07.620 We have to pass the Save America Act to defend American elections. Well, you saw what happened.

00:00:14.080 They caught thousands of votes in New Jersey where illegal aliens were allowed to vote.

00:00:19.940 Thousands and thousands of votes. To be very clear, that is a lie. Thousands of undocumented 0.72

00:00:28.620 immigrants did not vote in New Jersey. Trump is exploiting a DMV software glitch in the state

00:00:35.280 that led to about 400 400 non-citizens casting ballots. Governor Mike Echel has made it clear

00:00:42.260 those votes did not sway any race. And yet Trump is now lying about that error to pressure Congress

00:00:48.320 to pass his voter suppression bill. And speaking of, House Republicans just slid voting restrictions

00:00:54.620 into a bill that was supposed to focus on banning members of Congress from stock trading,

00:00:59.460 something important. Y'all probably care about it. That bill is not expected to pass in the Senate.

00:01:03.900 With some new polling from Fox News, which shows which political party Americans trust more to

00:01:09.620 handle key issues. And voters are saying that Democrats are doing a better job on income

00:01:15.900 inequality, health care, inflation, the economy and foreign policy. Republicans hold some

00:01:22.200 advantages on crime and national security, although even there, it is closely divided.

00:01:27.900 And get this, when it comes to immigration, the GOP had an eight point edge just a few

00:01:33.300 months ago.

00:01:33.720 But today, Democrats are preferred.

00:01:37.480 76 percent, meanwhile, of those polled see the economy as only fair or even poor, while

00:01:43.940 just 24 percent say it's excellent or good.

00:01:47.860 Meanwhile, 68 percent of Democrats say they are extremely motivated to vote in November's midterms.

00:01:54.780 That's an 11 point edge on the percentage of Republicans who say the same.

00:02:00.540 I'm going to give the American people a great deal more credit writ large based off of both the arguments.

00:02:09.140 I really believe the only people who are buying the B.S. coming out of Donald Trump's mouth right now are people who are in that small corner that's left in the room for Donald Trump to go hang out in.

00:02:20.940 The vast majority of Americans have long since certainly since 2021, but even more so in the last 18 months, come to the realization that this administration is not good for your political or economic health in this country.

00:02:35.820 And I think that they I mean, that's borne out by the by the polling.

00:02:40.100 The president had that kind of cachet that he could still convince American people to believe things like that.

00:02:47.060 I think his numbers would be higher. So my my my belief is that people are much more attuned to the lie around voting, the lies around 2020.

00:02:57.640 And I think that sets up well two things. One, the problem that Republicans have going into this fall.

00:03:05.200 into the opportunities Democrats I'm still waiting on y'all to execute on to close the deal with the

00:03:11.160 voters between now and November. It doesn't make any sense. There is an alternative. This is a

00:03:16.680 badly structured deal that could lead Saudi Arabia to enrich uranium and create a nuclear bomb. 0.61

00:03:23.700 Right next door to Saudi Arabia is a separate nuclear. It's a civilian nuclear program in the 0.56

00:03:28.480 United Arab Emirates. It was a deal negotiated by the Biden administration. And the UAE has

00:03:34.560 no way to enrich uranium. It's very simple. They get enriched uranium is delivered to their nuclear

00:03:40.200 power plants from other countries, from Russia. Some possibly could, I'm not sure if some comes

00:03:45.980 to the United States or not, but that's a simple way to do this where there is no need for the UAE

00:03:52.180 to have any way to enrich uranium, which if it could, it could lead to a bomb. So why would the

00:03:57.420 Trump administration agree that Saudi Arabia, Prince Buzzsaw, as he's called, and that's a

00:04:03.020 reference to the fact that MBS, you know, ordered the murder of journalist Jamal Khashoggi, who was

00:04:09.100 dismembered. And given Saudi Arabia's long record of human rights abuses, and also they haven't been

00:04:15.800 the closest ally in this war, why make this deal? Why does Saudi Arabia get this special treatment?

00:04:22.140 And one suggestion is that it has to do, and maybe this isn't fair, but that the Saudi

00:04:26.780 Public Investment Fund invested $2 billion in the president's son-in-law's firm.

00:04:33.020 That occurred soon after Jared Kushner left the first Trump administration.

00:04:39.260 And there are American companies who get business from this deal.

00:04:42.600 But it's, again, this sort of, I think, just bad, incompetent policy.

00:04:47.080 So maybe there's a short-term gain from some American companies.

00:04:50.180 But you're now creating a situation where Saudi Arabia gets to enrich uranium that could lead it to a nuclear bomb. 0.84

00:04:56.260 And this is going to upset, lastly, Israelis. 0.54

00:04:59.460 They don't want to see Saudi Arabia having this ability.

00:05:02.060 House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jim Jordan has referred former special counsel Jack Smith to the Department of Justice for a potential criminal investigation, accusing Smith of intentionally making false statements to Congress last year.

00:05:16.440 The Ohio Republican yesterday sent a letter to acting attorney general Todd Blanche claiming there is, quote, strong evidence that Smith made willfully and intentionally false statements in a closed door deposition last December.

00:05:30.660 Specifically, Jordan pointed to Smith's answers to questions about whether prosecutors obtained phone records of members of Congress during his investigation into efforts to overturn the 2020 election.

00:05:42.920 During the deposition, Smith testified that he did not seek search warrants for the contents of any text messages from members of Congress during his probe and only sought toll records.

00:05:54.880 But Jordan noted in his letter that documents produced this month by the DOJ shows Smith's team obtained text messages from 44 lawmakers.

00:06:06.880 Smith's attorney responded by calling the referral meritless and based on a spurious claim.

00:06:13.760 A congressional criminal referral is a non-binding request asking the DOJ to investigate whether someone has violated federal law and to determine whether further action is needed.

00:06:24.380 The DOJ is not required to pursue charges or even open an investigation.

00:06:30.400 Before we go, John, this case is a perfect example of why any person who finds themselves in the crosshairs of this Department of Justice in one of these retaliatory investigations, and I consider myself among them, I am currently, I have received a subpoena in an investigation.

00:06:47.500 The message you should take away from this is do not cooperate with the government.

00:06:52.240 Do not provide answers under oath. Do not provide answers to Congress. Do not provide answers to questions to agents or to a grand jury, because this Department of Justice will take what you say and apparently what you don't say and try to use that against you all in pursuit of the president's revenge mission.

00:07:11.040 Most of those strikes are going into two major cities, Bandar Abbas and Isfahan.

00:07:16.500 And having been one of the people who's done wargaming against Iran decades ago, those are the two things you want to encircle.

00:07:24.420 And I don't mean to get geeky on you here, but Bandar Abbas, the city next to the straits, is surrounded by mountains.

00:07:31.260 And it is not only a major port city, but a major military city.

00:07:34.580 So I think the operational plan is to contain that city so there's no movement in and out of Bandarabash.

00:07:41.900 You see it there.

00:07:43.080 What you don't see is the Zagros and the Jenao Mountains that surround that city.

00:07:48.140 If you knock out a couple of bridges and a couple of roads, you have the potential for trapping the military in that city. 0.89

00:07:56.700 Now, OK, that's good. But the other bad thing, and this is the complicated part of it, is those are all mostly dual use facilities.

00:08:05.740 And without seeing the targeting list that the Air Force and the Navy are using, you can't really tell what are dual use facilities versus military infrastructure.

00:08:16.840 So, you know, I'm truthfully very skeptical that they're avoiding all dual use facilities.

00:08:23.460 And I'll give you an example. If you hit a water system or a water tank, if it provides water to 10,000 civilians and 100 military personnel, that's not a dual-use facility.

00:08:37.720 So, again, you have to dive a whole lot deeper into what the targeting list looks like.

00:08:43.000 But it seems to me that they are putting that city and the other city of Isfahan, which is farther to the north, under an extreme amount of pressure.

00:08:51.220 And it's not helping the civilians of Iran like President Trump said he was going to do months ago.

00:08:58.960 This is the primal scream of a dying regime.

00:09:03.980 Pray for our enemies, because we're going medieval on these people.

00:09:07.840 I got a free shot all these networks lying about the people the people have had a belly full of it

00:09:14.980 I know you don't like hearing that I know you try to do everything the world to stop that but you're

00:09:18.780 not going to stop it it's going to happen and where do people like that go to share the big

00:09:23.160 line mega media I wish in my soul I wish that any of these people had a conscience ask yourself

00:09:31.720 What is my task, and what is my purpose?

00:09:34.720 If that answer is to save my country, this country will be saved.

00:09:41.120 War Room. Here's your host, Stephen K. Bannon.

00:09:48.280 Thursday, 23 July, Year of Our Lord, 2026, 2026.

00:09:55.380 I think the 12th night of bombing, and you heard there at the end with the general, 0.80

00:09:59.560 Yes, they are going after both the nuclear, kind of the center of the nuclear industry for the Persians and also their big naval base down right there at the mouth of the Strait of Hormuz.

00:10:12.960 And there may be some collateral damage, but these are two high military targets that the president and the CENTCOM and the punch list of what they're doing next.

00:10:25.820 And they're obviously going up the escalatory ladder here.

00:10:28.100 I don't think the bombing is going to stop.

00:10:30.400 No word of any real discussions.

00:10:33.080 They were trying to have a 10-day reprieve for some sort of 10-day interim ceasefire they were going to do.

00:10:39.860 I think that's kind of overcome by events right now.

00:10:42.280 Why? It looks like the Houthis have joined the war.

00:10:45.820 And in fact, I've got the truth social. I'll get it up maybe in the next block.

00:10:48.860 The president has just come out, made a statement about the Houthis trying to block the Red Sea and the entrance or the run up to the Suez Canal.

00:10:58.760 And he's putting them on notice that, hey, he's going to hold the Iranians responsible for bringing the Houthis in.

00:11:05.640 But he's also putting the Houthis on notice about all this.

00:11:09.440 I want to thank today's sponsor because it's going to be a little truncated today.

00:11:13.180 We are going to go to the White House at 11 o'clock.

00:11:15.360 I think they rescheduled.

00:11:16.720 traditionally the press briefings are at one. Caroline Levitt is back. They're going to do one

00:11:22.020 at 11 o'clock this morning from the press briefing room. We want to take all of that because there's

00:11:27.780 so many things happening and we understand she's going to take questions. So this, I'm sure it's

00:11:33.540 going to be quite antagonistic as Caroline's now back and they don't get any better than Caroline

00:11:38.860 at the podium in handling the rabid mainstream media. And of course, the rabid, we played right

00:11:45.820 there finally jack smith got a criminal referral i think this is the first of many but you got to

00:14:35.080 War Room in just a moment. We wouldn't be celebrating America 250 if it wasn't for a

00:15:03.280 strong foundation set by the framers. Hamilton built Americans' financial foundation on the

00:15:09.180 principle of sound, stable money, a principle later embodied by the gold standard. However,

00:15:15.680 we abandoned that discipline in 1971 and have since seen inflation erode the dollar's value.

00:17:30.440 of containment of these AI models now more than ever,

00:17:33.580 I think you at least ought to talk to Natalie Dominguez

00:17:41.840 Just pennies a day to give you peace of mind.

00:17:45.860 I want to replay Jonathan O'Meara.

00:17:48.820 Now, we had Politico on yesterday,

00:17:50.660 about their polling about MAGA support of this war. But Fox News came out and Fox News are not

00:17:56.380 the greatest pollers. I don't think they're the greatest polling in the world. But this is

00:18:00.820 directionally where it's seen, particularly what the answers the Democrats have been putting up

00:18:07.540 are pretty much worse than socialism. It's Marxism. Let's hear Jonathan Lemire over at

00:18:13.440 Morning Joe go through the Fox poll. With some new polling from Fox News, which shows which

00:18:19.420 political party, Americans trust more to handle key issues. And voters are saying that Democrats

00:18:25.800 are doing a better job on income inequality, health care, inflation, the economy, and foreign

00:18:32.180 policy. Republicans hold some advantages on crime and national security, although even there,

00:18:38.000 it is closely divided. And get this, when it comes to immigration, the GOP had an eight-point

00:18:44.440 edge just a few months ago. But today, Democrats are preferred. 76% meanwhile of those polled

00:18:51.840 see the economy as only fair or even poor, while just 24% say it's excellent or good.

00:18:59.860 Meanwhile, 68% of Democrats say they are extremely motivated to vote in November's midterms.

00:19:06.820 That's an 11-point edge on the percentage of Republicans who say the same.

00:19:14.440 So think about that for a second.

00:19:16.260 Think of the answers that the Democrats have been giving.

00:19:18.420 They've been, they have been, they've always been radical.

00:19:21.240 They kind of put a happy face on it of a moderate.

00:19:23.980 It's like the guy Cooper in North Carolina.

00:19:25.760 You couldn't be more radical, but he gets a big old Southern boy, you know, I'm just

00:19:30.340 football, God, church, you know, I'm Roy Cooper, I'm one of you, and nothing can be

00:19:35.740 farther from the truth.

00:19:36.520 You see this happen all the time, particularly in the South.

00:19:40.460 And they try to put a veneer of moderation on what could not be more radical.

00:19:46.440 Neil, tell me about you went to the South yesterday to Georgia.

00:19:49.840 You were there for the rally.

00:19:51.400 It hit some high points, the rally.

00:19:53.140 President Trump, when he talked about voter security and voter integrity, of course, last night, MSNBC went absolutely nuts on that, that here he is trying to steal the election, et cetera.

00:20:04.020 But what was his economic message to folks down there, sir?

00:20:07.980 Well, the economic message is that, I guess the meta message is that there's coming communism and government control and everything that communism touches turns to excrement, which I do not believe was on the teleprompter.

00:20:26.560 But he also just really made the point about how his his one big, beautiful bill took away taxes on tips and overtime and Social Security.

00:20:37.980 And he also talked about the Trump accounts, which was really the keystone of the address, because it vests these youngsters who can get these Trump accounts.

00:20:48.360 They not only are economically invested, they become emotionally invested in the economy.

00:20:54.260 And so that was his message. But I have to tell you, his biggest applause line when he said was when he said the Senate must pass the Save America Act, like people just jumped out of their shoes to cheer him on for that.

00:21:07.540 So if anybody in Washington thinks that Americans don't care about the Save America Act, they are completely wrong.

00:21:14.160 And Republican leaders should pay attention if they're concerned about turnout, that the emotional power of the Save America Act for turnout is very strong.

00:21:24.460 And you could feel it in the room, Steve.

00:21:26.920 Neil McCabe, you just nailed it.

00:21:28.620 This is the intensity gap I keep talking about.

00:21:30.460 And what they're doing now, thuning these guys by thinking they're turning President Trump into a lame duck, that it's going to assist them.

00:21:37.780 This is why I keep saying, I said, hey, as grim as the news is in the House, I actually think you can hold serve when you break it down like we've done with DeGrasse and others.

00:21:48.220 when you actually break it down to those districts, let's say there's 15 to maybe 20,

00:21:53.900 those districts that will determine who gets to 218, you can actually make a case

00:22:00.620 that if we highly focus in those congressional districts, you may be able to hold serve.

00:22:06.660 It ain't going to be pretty. It's not going to be easy, as I always say to people, tough but doable.

00:22:12.540 But that is coming in. Now, the Senate, and they keep saying, well, you get the math in the Senate.

00:22:16.880 I say, hey, look, I see no enthusiasm for the Senate at all.

00:22:19.620 I think people are totally turned off.

00:22:21.200 Now, Neil, what they're doing, and we're going to try to get, if we don't get Wade Miller,

00:22:24.960 who may have gone up to Capitol Hill about this, they're, and look, I appreciate what

00:22:30.520 the White House, James Braid and these guys are doing up on the legislative side in the

00:22:36.180 White House.

00:22:36.640 They are trying to think through any modality or methodology they can to take what the House

00:22:42.520 has passed and trying to get it passed through the Senate.

00:22:45.500 they're actually going now to just take parts of it, maybe parts of it, like voter ID and other

00:22:52.440 parts. Although the whole bill itself, when you look at it, it's got the approval of anywhere

00:22:57.700 from, I don't know, 67, two thirds the American people to 80 percent. In a country that determines

00:23:04.100 elections now by a thousand votes on each side, these are landslide numbers. I want you to just

00:23:09.200 hit rewind. When you were there yesterday and all the speech, he talked about the war, he talked

00:23:14.240 about everything what was the thing that brought people to their feet it was the safe america act

00:23:21.540 i mean it just there was just no question and it shocked me because usually you expect these big

00:23:27.900 applause lines when he talks about you know transgenderism and uh you know and obviously

00:23:33.540 when he talked about the troops and obviously he talked about you know with the family that

00:23:37.580 flew back to georgia with him on air force one very powerful and emotional and i was surprised

00:23:43.420 being a creature of Washington to be out in the provinces and see the people are actually tracking

00:23:49.360 that the Save America Act is the whole ballgame, Steve.

00:23:54.440 Well, no, this is what, you know, the war room then has done its job and here's why.

00:23:59.280 The address last Thursday night and what's come off of that and then what Solomon and

00:24:04.360 Pulte are going to put out further, is a number one priority for the MAGA base, for the Trump

00:24:15.320 base. And this is a base turnout election. This is not a persuasion election. This is a midterm

00:24:20.660 election with Trump theoretically not on the ballot, although we say for the Democrats he's

00:24:25.400 definitely on the ballot, is that people, they don't want to spend a ton of time relitigating

00:24:31.580 in 2020. I know we do here at the War Room. We think it's very important what went on,

00:24:35.660 the illegitimate regime. But at least what they want to do is take those lessons from the stolen

00:24:41.600 election of 2020, and they must be applied now. That's where they manifested itself in the Save

00:24:47.280 America Act. And the president, who often is criticized or questioned about the ability to

00:24:54.860 stay on message, he's been relentless. He's been like a howitzer on this. He says every time for

00:25:00.400 months and months and months. And that's what's so shocking about the Senate thwarting him.

00:25:06.180 Is it your opinion, looking at Georgia, which is another battleground state,

00:25:09.960 that unless we make some movement, a real movement that is not performative, right,

00:25:15.720 or not just optics on Save America, we will never get to the intensity that the Democrats have in

00:25:22.200 the Trump derangement syndrome. As we play every cold open here is to show you the Trump derangement

00:25:27.660 and how much they hate him and what they're prepared to do to remove him from office and

00:25:33.600 stop the MAGA movement and Trumpism.

00:25:35.900 Neil McCabe.

00:25:39.380 People want to know that what they're fighting for is what the president is fighting for.

00:25:46.180 If he's all in and he's moving forward, and let's say he loses a vote, but if he forces

00:25:51.980 a vote and he takes it to the ninth inning, people will say, will feel validated.

00:25:57.480 But if they get the sense that the president doesn't care and the White House doesn't care and the Senate doesn't care and the Republicans in Congress don't care, then they say, well, what am I doing this for?

00:26:07.760 I went back to midterm elections going back to 1960.

00:26:11.220 There's always a drop off for the party that wins the White House in the midterm.

00:26:15.060 It goes, you know, if it's 20 to 30 percent, the party can maybe hold on.

00:26:20.340 As soon as you have a drop off of more than 30%, you go into the 40s, that's when you have those landslides in the House where you lose, you know, 20, 30, 40, 60 seats like we did, like the Democrats saw in 2010.

00:26:35.080 But it's important to remember, Rahm Emanuel, Barack Obama's chief of staff, told President Obama, if you go forward with Obamacare, you will lose the House, you will lose the Senate.

00:26:46.860 Obama said, I don't care.

00:26:49.080 and guess what Obamacare is still the law of the land and over time the Democrats took the House

00:26:56.360 and the Senate back it's you know what are we doing here why do we send you people to Washington

00:27:01.480 the people yesterday they heard a president who had energy and passion who was locked in

00:27:08.140 and they want to follow that guy to victory and I'll say it again because it really surprised me

00:27:14.640 The Save America Act really, really motivated people.

00:27:19.020 They jumped out of their chairs, David.

00:27:22.480 That's what we've been telling people.

00:27:23.860 You can tell it from the world of chats.

00:27:25.300 You can tell it from the audience, the intensity of the audience about this.

00:27:30.160 Also might remind people when Obama lost, was warned by Emmanuel, lost the House and the Senate,

00:27:35.440 he went on TV the next day from the White House.

00:27:38.740 You know what he said?

00:27:40.260 Because the first question, did you learn a lesson?

00:27:42.080 Yeah, here's where I learned a lesson.

00:27:43.240 I'm president of the United States.

00:27:44.640 and I'm going to use executive power to push through my agenda, right?

00:27:48.140 And he got nasty, and this thing rolled.

00:27:51.020 The president has emergency powers.

00:27:53.720 He has ability to do executive orders.

00:27:56.680 I think he's laid the predicate for a national security emergency

00:28:01.760 about the elections in the midterms.

00:28:04.680 No, people don't want to hear that, but it's a reality,

00:28:07.640 and I think we're coming very close to taking that predicate

00:28:10.120 and taking action upon it.

00:28:11.880 Short commercial break.

00:28:12.660 Neil Bacchese will stick to the White House.

00:28:14.060 Mike Davis, the vice president.

00:28:15.900 It feels like our country finally has momentum again,

00:28:20.740 with our leaders fighting to restore common sense in America first.

00:28:26.140 But we've seen this before.

00:28:27.400 Conservatives get comfortable, and the left starts taking background inch by inch.

00:28:32.300 We cannot let that happen in these midterms.

00:28:35.720 America needs every one of us in the fight,

00:28:37.980 and a big part of that means supporting companies that actually stand for our values.

00:28:42.660 That's why I'm proud to partner with Patriot Mobile.

00:29:41.440 Here's your host, Stephen K. Mann.

00:29:47.340 Okay, welcome back.

00:29:48.360 The engine room out in Arizona informs me that it was Obama's famous quote.

00:29:52.200 I got a phone and a pen.

00:29:54.640 He didn't back down at all.

00:29:56.240 In fact, he got crazier after he lost that on actions, and we had to fight that.

00:30:02.380 Remember, we're at Brightberry.

00:30:03.440 We had to fight that every single day.

00:30:07.720 I want to go to Mike D.

00:30:08.980 I'm going to get back to Neil McCabe at the White House in a moment.

00:30:11.060 a lot to go through, particularly about setting the predicate for why if all these variations on

00:30:16.860 Save America, if they don't happen in time, because some of these guys are saying, hey,

00:30:21.300 we'll get to it when we get back from August recess, right? There's not enough time to

00:30:25.540 implement. It's got to be done like now. It should have been done months ago. But even now,

00:30:30.040 maybe you could execute. But if not, you're going to have to go to a national security emergency

00:30:35.340 executive order uh my next guest is not a fan of that mike davis we'll talk about that later

00:30:42.120 but i want to play neil mccabe so finally jack smith gets a criminal referral by jim jordan

00:30:48.580 over to todd blanch the guys at main justice uh about you know perjuring himself there's a lot

00:30:54.980 more to get and i'm gonna ask davis about that but neil mccabe to get mccabe i think it's mccabe up

00:30:58.760 right away about what the left what the lessons are that they are taking from this criminal

00:31:04.880 referral. Let's play it. We'll bring in the vice. Before we go, John, this this case is a perfect

00:31:09.900 example of why any person who finds themselves in the crosshairs of this Department of Justice

00:31:14.740 in one of these retaliatory investigations, and I consider myself among them, I am currently

00:31:20.440 I have received a subpoena in an investigation. The message you should take away from this is

00:31:26.300 do not cooperate with the government. Do not provide answers under oath. Do not provide

00:31:32.280 answers to Congress, do not provide answers to questions to agents or to a grand jury,

00:31:37.260 because this Department of Justice will take what you say and apparently what you don't say

00:31:42.700 and try to use that against you, all in pursuit of the president's revenge mission.

00:31:49.300 Mike Davis, that's McCabe. Remember, McCabe was all the one wetting himself after president,

00:31:54.860 right before President Trump won and right after about, he was thinking of leaving for a foreign

00:31:58.820 country. Of course, nothing's happened to him. It's so frustrating. But talk to me about the

00:32:03.700 Jack Smith situation. What did Jim Jordan actually do? And you saw McCabe right there in that whole

00:32:07.900 crowd. They're just going to say, screw you. They don't believe in the Constitution. They don't 1.00

00:32:11.520 believe in any of this. Mike Davis, your thoughts? Well, Jim Jordan did a criminal referral yesterday

00:32:18.680 to the Justice Department on Biden's special counsel, Jack Smith. Jack Smith, as we know,

00:32:26.240 was this rogue political partisan operative, this scud missile launched by Biden to try to

00:32:33.080 take out Trump. And as part of Jack Smith's investigation of Trump and his aides and his

00:32:40.180 allies, Jack Smith subpoenaed the text messages, the content of the text messages from 44 members

00:32:49.280 of Congress, including 20 senators and 24 House members, including the Speaker of the House,

00:32:57.180 the number two in the House. It's a big deal to subpoena congressional members' telephone records,

00:33:05.740 their text messages. They did it for 44 of them. And then Jack Smith didn't apparently have the

00:33:13.220 taint teams in place, the filter teams in place to make sure they're doing a review for privilege,

00:33:19.700 which is a big problem. And then Jack Smith got asked about what he did in those investigations

00:33:26.740 as part of his December 17th, 2025 deposition in front of the House Judiciary Committee. And Jack

00:33:34.020 Smith, according to Jim Jordan, the chairman's criminal referral lied. He provided materially

00:33:41.240 false statements to Congress, to the House, because Jack Smith said that he only got the

00:33:47.760 toll records of these phone calls, meaning two from phone number duration and not the content.

00:33:55.080 Well, according to this criminal referral, that is a lie. Jack Smith lied because he did get

00:34:00.900 44 members of Congress's text messages. And so that's why we have this criminal referral.

00:34:07.660 When you have these criminal referrals, I've helped draft these for then-chairman Chuck Grassley, the Senate Judiciary Chairman, when I worked on the Kavanaugh affirmation and we set criminal referrals.

00:34:18.620 When you lie to congressional investigators like this, like Jack Smith is alleged to have done here, according to Jim Jordan's letter, you could be charged with perjury because it's under sworn testimony under his deposition, presuming it was a sworn deposition.

00:34:34.720 You could be charged with false statements, 1,001 false statements.

00:34:39.860 You can also be charged with obstruction of a congressional investigation.

00:34:43.820 And if you did this with others, you could be charged with conspiracy.

00:34:46.800 So this is a very serious criminal referral, and the Justice Department should and must treat this seriously.

00:34:55.880 Mike, it is very serious.

00:34:58.400 I mean, the lie is serious, but he lied because what they did is so over the top.

00:35:03.720 My question is, you saw McCabe just right up in your grill as soon as it happens.

00:35:09.880 The frustration with the war room posse, who are obviously huge fans of the vice-rory and

00:35:14.060 Article III and others, and obviously the president, is it appears that when something

00:35:20.040 happens to Congress, immediate action is taken, and we're kind of on a path to get this thing

00:35:25.180 sorted.

00:35:26.040 Yet, McCabe, who sat there and cried, I think it was on CNN, cried on CNN right after President

00:35:32.580 Trump won. He says, we're having discussions about leaving the country. He's not only walking

00:35:37.360 around scot-free, he's in our grill saying, hey, guess what? Here's our plan. We're not going to

00:35:42.440 cooperate with anybody. Screw you. Is it take only something that happens to the aristocracy 0.99

00:35:50.420 up on Capitol Hill for action to be taken? Or are we going to get serious about getting guys like

00:35:55.720 McCabe off the streets, sir. I hear you and I agree. I know that Joe DiGenova is aggressively

00:36:04.920 pursuing the grand conspiracy down in the Southern District of Florida, according to these news

00:36:09.580 reports, but we need to get moving. We need to get indicting. There's no question that Jack Smith

00:36:17.020 should be indicted and face criminal prosecution and put him in prison because what Jack Smith did

00:36:23.760 is he politicized and weaponized our Justice Department to take out a political enemy,

00:36:30.280 Donald Trump, right, and his aides and his allies. And he went after members of Congress. This is a

00:36:36.040 serious violation of the separation of powers. You can't have the Justice Department just

00:36:41.780 willy-nilly spy on members of Congress, 44 of them, including senators, including House leaders.

00:36:48.900 And there has to be accountability here.

00:36:50.980 And frankly, I don't care if a D.C. jury ends up finding him not guilty at the end of this process.

00:36:58.700 I don't care if it's a home jury.

00:37:00.780 I want Jack Smith to go through this process because what he did was criminal.

00:37:06.580 He must face severe legal, political, and financial consequences for it to send a deterrent to these other lawfare Democrats, these other bad actors like McCabe, the former deputy director of the FBI, so they understand that if you do this, you will face consequences.

00:37:23.840 If they get away with this under the Trump Justice Department, the Democrats will come back mercilessly the next time Democrats control the White House.

00:37:34.600 it's it's insane if we don't if we don't put a flamethrower to this they will think hey we we

00:37:42.140 did something that was terrible we got away with it now they're going to double and triple down

00:37:46.080 it's so obvious that's why i think people are just going crazy about this let me just pivot

00:37:50.000 for a second neil mccabe was actually in georgia i say the president's speech and he said hey look

00:37:54.920 and a lot of applause lines a lot of support for the president uh the one that was thunderous was

00:37:59.960 the Save America Act. He was a little surprised because he says, hey, I've been hanging around

00:38:04.520 the White House too much. When you get out there to the hinterland, this is what people are focused

00:38:09.040 on. Now we got the Senate. The House is passive, but there's all kinds of perturbations. They're

00:38:13.700 going to take pieces and attach here, try to attach here, try to attach here. What does it

00:38:18.060 take, Mr. Article III project, for us to get the attention of the United States Senate to say,

00:38:24.940 look, the intensity gap between Democrats and Republicans are noticeable in this midterm.

00:38:31.180 And this is of the base, but this solves it.

00:38:35.040 What is it going to take in your mind for us to convince the Senate they got to move off the dime on this thing, sir?

00:38:41.160 Well, it's the war room posse lighting up both of their home state senators. 0.83

00:38:45.440 Go to article3project.org, take action, and tell both of your home state senators, Democrat and Republican, to stop letting illegals illegally vote in our elections. 0.79

00:38:55.920 They have to pass the safe America. 0.62

00:38:58.080 We are seeing in New Jersey where the governor admitted that 6,600 illegals were on their voter rolls.

00:39:06.480 400 of them voted, according to the Democrats.

00:39:09.240 We know it's thousands and thousands and thousands more than that if that's what they're admitting to.

00:39:13.720 There is no question we need to pass the Save America Act because any time an illegal alien illegally votes in our elections, it disenfranchises an American voter.

00:39:24.640 It cancels out an American voter's votes.

00:39:27.420 The Save America Act voter ID proof of citizenship has the support of over 80% of Americans, including a supermajority of Democrats, a supermajority of minorities, even a supermajority of black Americans who Democrats claim aren't smart enough to get a voter ID like everyone else.

00:39:44.160 when in reality, Democrats know they want illegal aliens illegally voting in their elections.

00:39:50.400 If they're admitting to 400 illegal aliens casting votes in New Jersey,

00:39:55.340 that could change the outcome of close elections.

00:39:57.640 We've seen elections for members of Congress that have been decided by less than 400 votes.

00:40:02.980 And we know it's a lot more than 400 if that's what they're admitting to.

00:40:06.100 There's no excuse for Republicans.

00:40:08.480 Cancel August recess.

00:40:11.120 Recess is for kids.

00:40:12.520 Again, go to article3project.org and light up both of your home state senators on the action page.

00:40:18.960 So every day here, we're laying the predicate off of President Trump's speech last week and other things are coming up, like the New Jersey situation, laying the predicate about how this is not simply relitigating 2020, although we would be the first to say we got to relitigate that.

00:40:33.760 But it's actually about what's going to happen in 2026.

00:40:37.260 Are you open to if we don't get Save America done, which right now I think I don't see how the Senate is ever going to cooperate with the president in the House to do it.

00:40:48.260 Are you open to then going to an executive order?

00:40:50.580 I'd say, I'll tell you what, don't answer that.

00:40:52.240 I'll come back to you and talk to you after the show.

00:40:54.060 Mike Davis said, no, let's pass Save America.

00:40:56.660 I'm all for passing Save America as long as we pass it quickly enough to implement it.

00:41:01.360 But I think John Thune and members of the kind of McConnell clique that run the United States Senate have just are just bound and determined they don't care what the thunderous applause are in Georgia because the Georgia establishment of Brian Kemp and those guys could care less.

00:41:16.320 And so and that is a reflection of the type of thinking that's in the United States Senate.

00:41:21.540 Mike Davis, one more time, give me what are your coordinates on on your social media?

00:41:25.620 article3project.org

00:41:28.340 donate, follow us on social

00:41:30.380 action, action, action

00:41:32.220 is the war room posse's superpower

00:41:37.620 contact both of your senators on that

00:41:39.840 and then pass the Save America

00:41:42.320 contact both of your senators

00:41:43.760 on that as well, it's very easy to do

00:41:45.860 it takes two minutes, they'll do patch-through

00:41:47.920 phone calls to both of your senators

00:41:49.500 with bullet points

00:41:51.220 emails that we write for you

00:42:00.700 Thank you, sir.

00:42:01.440 Appreciate you.

00:42:03.980 They're also, you know, Jay Clayton,

00:42:06.380 because their number one priority

00:42:08.000 is to get Pulte out of there.

00:42:09.560 They got to get Pulte out of there

00:42:10.840 because Pulte's getting to the bottom

00:42:12.260 a lot of things, right?

00:42:13.960 And they got to have him

00:42:14.980 at the intelligence apparatus

00:42:16.600 that one of the major pillars

00:42:19.800 that control this country

00:42:20.920 because they have sovereignty.

00:42:22.400 We don't.

00:42:24.080 The parties come together. They can't approve anybody else President Trump's got. You got all these ambassadors. You got Cornyn sitting there going, unless I get more funding for AIDS for Africa. Yes, President Trump's greatest ally, according to him, best friend, according to him, is now he's saying, well, maybe we got enough, etc.

00:42:41.640 But anybody President Trump wants to get confirmed, oh, no, that's too big a problem, like Todd Blanche.

00:42:48.120 But Jay Clayton can be there tomorrow.

00:42:50.040 They'll rush that because they've got to get Pulte out.

00:42:54.460 OK.

00:44:56.300 this today. Here's your host, Stephen K. Band. Okay, birchgold.com slash band and end of the

00:45:05.580 dollar empire. Learn why the dollar's been the bulwark of the world's financial system since

00:45:11.060 Bretton Woods after World War II. The financial system, the economic system was rebuilt around

00:45:17.660 globalism, but the dollar was the prime reserve currency, replaced the British pound. You need

00:45:22.860 to know this. Why? Because of what's happening today. So make sure you go to birchgold.com

00:45:28.180 slash Bannon. We've got the ninth reinstallment coming out. You've got eight now. That'll be

00:45:32.060 enough to immerse yourself. Talk to Philip Patrick and the team about gold as a hedge,

00:45:37.640 something you might need with the turbulence we're seeing in capital markets. Eric Bolling,

00:45:41.460 you're at a conference. I want to thank you for stepping away and joining us this morning.

00:45:45.700 The Houthis are saying they're all in and blocking the Red Sea and the transits up to the Suez Canal.

00:45:52.120 President Trump put out True Social, go, yo, if you're going to do that, I'm going to pound Iran for every ship that you take out, and then I'm going to come and pound you.

00:46:01.280 This war is expanding, and it's expanding in its intensity around global shipping in the oil markets, sir.

00:46:08.760 You're 100% right.

00:46:10.000 Thank you, Stephen, brother, from a different moment.

00:46:12.280 I'm in Vegas talking money, talking inflation.

00:46:14.660 Tell you exactly what happened.

00:46:15.520 The Houthis fired on two Saudi ships.

00:46:17.900 Now, that is big, big news.

00:46:19.500 You're talking to Saudi, UAE, to the point where the disruption, there are ships right now, vessels on the water right now, rerouting around the Red Sea, rerouting away from the Gulf of the Strait of Hormuz, down to the southern tip of Africa, Cape of Good Hope.

00:46:35.260 That's massive additional transportation costs to every single barrel.

00:46:40.440 On top of that, the warning that this thing could expand is driving prices up.

00:46:44.920 North Sea Brent up $7 a barrel today

00:46:47.620 based on the Houthis attacking actual vessels

00:46:50.620 which fired on them.

00:46:51.760 And Trump's saying we will retaliate with force on Iran.

00:46:55.540 It sparked up real fast, Steve.

00:46:57.400 I mean, we're talking $67 a barrel

00:46:59.780 for West Texas Intermediate like 10 days ago,

00:47:02.900 up to 92, maybe $93 a barrel today.

00:47:05.800 So I'm here talking inflation to the money showing.

00:47:09.360 I tell them the only thing you need to understand

00:47:11.940 about making money,

00:47:12.820 trading on the stock market for Wall Street

00:47:14.520 the economy watch oil prices when oil prices go down it's good it's wind in the sales of the

00:47:21.780 economy problem is it went down we had a good inflation number last month and now we're bouncing

00:47:26.980 right back 409 a gallon today steve 409 a gallon today for gasoline on its way to 450 and five

00:47:34.700 dollars and not panicking i'm just bringing you what's happening hey no no no you warned about

00:47:41.100 this. People say, you wonder about this because you know markets. Let me ask you, the money show

00:47:46.160 is a serious thing. You've got people like yourself and some of the Wall Street hedge funds,

00:47:49.800 top traders on Wall Street come, but the crowd is kind of the war room posse for money. I mean,

00:47:55.320 these people are in it. It's more than a hobby. So talk to me, what's the buzz? Here you have

00:48:01.100 both the working class, middle class, entrepreneurial base of, I want to make money.

00:48:06.420 I want to learn about capital markets. I want to learn how to invest. I want to be a capitalist.

00:48:10.120 and you've got the smartest guys in the country talking to them.

00:48:13.200 What is the buzz out there at the money show?

00:48:17.260 This is the first, I've been doing the money show for 10 years.

00:48:19.520 This is the first time I feel, I sense confusion when confusion brings fear,

00:48:24.900 especially when it has to do with your money.

00:48:27.100 Show of hands, three years, five years ago, how many people are day traders?

00:48:31.160 70% of the room.

00:48:32.780 My speech yesterday, he noted, how many people are day traders?

00:48:35.700 One hand out of several hundred.

00:48:37.960 Put his hand up. 0.99

00:48:38.620 How many people are intermediate?

00:48:39.620 at some. Most people are looking longer term. They're fearful. Talked to a guy and he said,

00:48:44.740 I most fear losing what I've worked my whole life earning or losing the value of it. And that means

00:48:51.120 inflation. And we just did, Steve, 30-year treasuries are now 4.2%. The 10-year, we always

00:49:01.360 talk about the 10-year because everyone borrows on credit, credit card debt, 4.7%. Anything above

00:49:08.040 four or five is is is alarming inflation is here it's going to get bad and again no no knock on

00:49:14.520 trump what the hell are we doing in there let's just get out they're never gonna turn around and

00:49:20.700 love us we can't regime change we have so many problems here we are going to have a huge problem

00:49:26.460 if we don't hold the midterms for a while looked like it was getting a little better now i don't

00:49:32.180 know, at $4.50 a gallon end of the summer going into the fall with an election. It's going to be

00:49:38.580 tough. I'm just being honest. I don't want to yell into the echo chamber.

00:49:41.980 No, but help the audience out. Hang on. Help the audience out because I'm going to get Cortez. We're

00:49:46.460 going to talk about bond market tomorrow. All this concern about the head of the Federal Reserve and

00:49:51.580 the governors of the Federal Reserve and how these guys are raising interest rates, they're going up

00:49:55.600 because in the free market of the bid and the ask on government securities, with the amount of debt

00:50:01.120 we're having, right? And the prospects, you know, to refinance the debt of $39 trillion

00:50:08.000 or $40 trillion, the one third of it, we're having to pay higher prices. That's where you're getting

00:50:13.260 higher interest rates in the 10-year, in the 30-year. It's happening. And some of these are

00:50:18.060 pretty explosive, are they not? It's that, Steve. So there's a fear that, look, we service the debt

00:50:26.240 to the tune of a trillion dollars,

00:50:28.120 or the interest on the debt, a trillion dollars,

00:50:30.980 that's bigger than most world economies,

00:50:32.660 just to pay the interest, not to pay down the debt.

00:50:35.680 So we're borrowing money to pay down the money,

00:50:38.680 the interest on the money we've already borrowed.

00:50:40.520 It's insane.

00:50:42.460 Now, the rates are going up for nervousness,

00:50:46.300 geopolitical risks, but mostly inflation.

00:50:48.960 People are now seeing this is gonna be an inflation animal

00:50:51.320 that's coming at us right now.

00:50:53.300 Fuel, energy, so important to the economy.

00:50:56.240 It's the literal driver of inflation.

00:50:58.220 It's going higher.

00:50:59.020 And when inflation goes up, you can't lower interest rates.

00:51:02.060 You have to raise interest rates to tame inflation.

00:51:04.500 That's what Powell got wrong during Joe Biden's term.

00:51:07.380 He let inflation rise six, seven, eight.

00:51:10.740 And not until it was almost 10% did he start raising rates to tame the inflation down.

00:51:17.560 He waited too long.

00:51:18.900 Warsh has said, we're not giving forward guidance.

00:51:20.780 Kevin Warsh did something very smart.

00:51:23.580 A lot of people trade on what happened last month.

00:51:26.640 Oh, the CPI was good last month, three and a half percent, four percent, whatever.

00:51:30.400 Kevin Warsh said, most people, smart people trade on what's happening next.

00:51:34.100 I don't care what happened yesterday.

00:51:35.220 I want to hear what happens next.

00:51:36.880 Warsh said the Fed will no longer give you prospects for the upcoming quarter or the

00:51:43.020 upcoming year, which means they're not going to show you their hand.

00:51:46.640 They're just going to let, they're going to decide based on the numbers.

00:51:49.860 That is very fascinating.

00:51:51.780 That's a big change.

00:51:53.580 Eric, can you hang on for one second? I know you've got a bolt. We're going to go to the White House also with the press conference, but I've got to ask you about the implosion over space, because now it's part of the index. It affects everybody. Just hang on for one second. Also, Neil McCabe may have to leave us and get into the press briefing room for the start of this, but we're going to try to get him also.

00:52:12.040 You just heard it right there.

00:52:13.660 Now more than ever, you should understand.

00:52:16.700 It's not about just buying gold.

00:52:18.040 It's about understanding the process, okay?

00:52:21.300 This is what Birch Gold offers you.

00:52:22.880 This is the reason we partnered for him for five years when gold was, I don't know, $1,100 an ounce.

00:52:28.160 Because we knew that we're going to be very tough geopolitical times ahead and financial times ahead.

00:52:33.500 Because Biden was out of control and an illegitimate president because they stole the 2020 election.

00:52:39.900 Never forget that.
