00:17:19.200 Now, folks, let's be clear. There's no evidence, non-zero, not a nilch that Jack Smith lied about

00:17:28.020 anything under oath, period. But we do know the president and his allies want to punish Smith

00:17:39.960 for Trump, by Trump, and from others around Smith to be prosecuted. Tonight, Smith's legal team is

00:17:59.440 statement from Maryland Congressman Jamie Raskins on vindictive criminal referrals. This is what

00:18:06.160 He said yesterday, this referral deliberately distorts and misstates the facts, including what questions the Republicans actually asked at Mr. Smith's interview.

00:18:18.380 The Republicans fault Mr. Smith for not reading the minds of congressional investigators and not for volunteering information they didn't ask for.

00:22:47.260 And they're all active pushers of election denialism altogether, not just for the 2020 election, for the 2022 election, for the 2024 election.

00:24:12.640 fascination amongst the election denier movement. It the one of the central as I see it,

00:24:23.020 there are two central pillars of MAGA ism. One is election denial around the 2020 election that

00:24:29.480 Really, to be MAGA, you have to believe that the 2020 election was rigged.

00:24:36.280 There are all sorts of activists, right-wing activists, anti-voting activists, who spent

00:24:44.260 years saying that they had found evidence of ballot stuffing.

00:24:50.740 There were documentaries that ended up being later totally debunked about...

00:24:59.480 um, people acting as mules to stuff ballots. And, and really what that, um, started as was,

00:25:06.680 uh, a backlash, a reaction to measures to, to pro voting measures that emerged, uh, when a big

00:25:15.540 thing happened in 2020, which was the pandemic. And so it was harder to go to the polls. People

00:25:21.160 were stuck at home. Congregating in poll sites was going to be riskier. And so all sorts of

00:25:29.660 states and municipalities around the country enacted measures to make it easier to vote,

00:25:35.500 either absentee or early voting or through the mail. And all of those are anathema to people

00:25:43.120 who want to make it harder to vote. And so those pro-access measures were sort of transmuted

00:25:50.560 into this broad conspiracy to steal the election from Donald Trump. And so that's one

00:25:59.060 basically like constant pillar of the MAGA movement. And the other one is being anti-immigrant,

00:26:08.000 Which goes back to Trump's, you know, going coming down the escalator. And although these things may seem like disparate issues, they are, in fact, intimately linked through the racist Great Replacement theory that was popularized by Fox News for a very long time and now has become just a given on the right.

00:26:31.900 Yeah, it's everywhere. And for people who aren't familiar, the great replacement theory posits that democratic or liberal elites sometimes coded as Jewish people are are, quote unquote, importing foreigners typically understood as brown or black skinned from from places that Trump and others refer to in ways that I'm not going to repeat here.

00:26:58.520 And that that that that those liberal elites are bringing in foreigners to, quote unquote, replace white people by voting and by giving them the vote.

00:27:11.380 And so these two pillars that seem disparate are, in fact, intimately braided together. And that's why you can understand Trump's twin obsessions with saying that the 2020 election was rigged and unleashing ICE on all these cities throughout the country.

00:27:28.880 These are not separate issues. They are absolutely one in the same. 00:38:12.280 some polling, the political operation did some polling, and they went to this conference.

00:38:16.980 Actually, it wasn't at Mar-a-Lago, but it was down in Florida, I think, one of these

00:38:20.380 off-sites they have. And they have all these consultants come in, and they talk about the

00:38:23.820 issues. And this was, I think, back in January, February. And I believe it was James Blair,

00:38:28.660 the head of the political operation, did this polling and said, the phrase we can never use

00:38:33.100 again is mass deportations. And from that moment, you know, that is the phrase that should never be

00:38:38.760 spoken. I can tell you that is absolutely 1000% incorrect. What people want is they want to see

00:38:44.860 mass deportations and the deportations they want to see, you can't triage them. They obviously want

00:38:49.920 to see the bad hombres out, right? The worst, the worst, and then it goes down. But that phrase in

00:38:54.440 itself implies you're not going to get to the rest of them. You have to have mass deportations

00:38:59.200 of all of them. If we don't, it's an amnesty program. You're only going to get more back

00:39:04.000 in here. When Democrats take back over, they're going to flood it again. You have to take your

00:39:07.960 stand now. Do you think, and you went around and saw the enthusiasm, was there any doubt that the

00:39:13.860 American people, and it still polls at like 67%, was there any doubt in your mind when you went

00:39:18.460 around that the American people are sitting there going, we have to have mass deportations. We have

00:39:23.120 to get these illegal aliens out of the country. Stephen, not only is there no doubt in my mind, 0.82

00:39:49.120 separate than what we voted for and what was promised. When we talk about mass deportations,

00:39:53.940 we're talking about interior enforcement, about the whole of government approach going after those

00:39:59.920 that are already inside the United States illegally. And that means going after all of

00:40:04.900 them. That means using an Eisenhower-based strategy that he used in the 50s that was

00:40:09.580 very successful. And that is a quantity-based strategy over quality, to your point. Look,

00:40:15.660 the worst of the worst strategy. First of all, Stephen, look, I don't like that phrase. And as

00:40:20.620 a strategy, it has not been effective. It is inefficient when you are going after what we

00:40:26.560 know is a very small subset. Look, the, you know, we're going after criminals is really a cloak for

00:40:34.580 non-enforcement. It literally, that was the Biden-Obama administration strategy. We're just

00:40:40.760 doing it better in this administration and see if i can't real quick let me give you an example

00:40:46.280 of where it's confusing for the american people and where i don't think that there's a level of

00:40:52.100 transparency that is there right now we're the the stats that are being pushed out right now

00:40:56.980 is a 62 38 split and what they're touting this success is that we have deported of those that

00:41:03.880 have deported which those numbers are still low overall is that 62 percent of them to your point

00:41:08.800 have been criminals, the worst of the worst, while 38% have been non-criminals. Well, first of all,

00:41:13.820 let's break that down real quick. First of all, the 38% non-criminals, we know a good majority of

00:41:19.100 those were actually collateral apprehensions as part of the criminal operations. But here's what's

00:41:25.420 equally important that people need to understand, is that the so-called worst of the worst is a

00:41:30.240 small, small subset of the millions and millions of illegal aliens that are here. So in reality,

00:41:36.900 what the third 62-38 split means is, and I'm a conservative here, is that we're devoting 75%

00:41:44.380 of our resources going after about 9% of the illegal alien population. That is a Biden-Obama

00:41:53.000 administration policy and strategy. We're just doing it better. But that means the overwhelming

00:41:58.280 majority of those that are here illegally are not being aggressively specifically targeted for

00:42:03.560 removal. So hang on for a second. If you can hold through, I just want to hold you to another

00:42:07.820 break. Ben Burquam is going to join us also. And my question is that given the radical of the

00:42:16.760 democratic socialists and the working family party and these radical Democrats, they understand

00:42:21.180 that their lifeblood politically is illegal aliens and foreign nationals that are coming in these

00:42:27.140 bogus immigration plans. I think it's 8.2, 8.5 million people in New York City, 3.7 million,

00:42:35.720 I believe, are foreign-born. This is Mondami's power. And right now, he's John C. Calhoun.

00:42:41.060 He has nullified every essential immigration law. He says, I'm not going to enforce it. In fact,
