00:03:44.880Let's start with the one that is perhaps more likely to stand up to legal scrutiny,
00:03:48.980which is the order that basically restricts the granting of visas to people who want to come to this country
00:03:54.260with the intent to overstay their visas and have children here.
00:03:57.240That grants some authority to the Secretaries of Homeland Security and state to restrict who visas are given to in the first instance.
00:04:03.540It's that second order that we're really going to see some court scrutiny about.
00:04:08.620And that's because there are very limited exceptions to who has birthright citizenship in this country.
00:04:13.440Almost everyone born in the country is considered a citizen.
00:04:16.340But there are a handful of exceptions.
00:04:18.440And through this executive order, you can see the Trump administration trying to stretch some of those exceptions as well as create others, particularly with respect to this practice that they call birth tourism.

00:05:05.440Well, yes. Whoever votes for that bill is voting for a pretty blatantly bad bill that would suppress

00:05:17.520midterms. The president's popularity is in the toilet. Republicans are full-on in re-election
00:05:23.480mode they are very focused on appealing to voters talking about affordability talking about the

00:05:34.380the toilet with his ratings and talking about uh making you know 3 a.m rants on social media
00:05:41.460about an individual senator he may not like he is uh driving us further into an unending war he's
00:05:48.660doing all these things that are extremely unpopular as gas prices go up you know yada yada
00:05:52.760So, of course, he's like, oh, people are going to, you know, we got to protect the elections in November because widespread voter fraud, I guess.
00:06:00.620But that's the same thing. This is just another continuation of what happened in 2020.
00:06:05.420It's just unfounded claims of widespread voter fraud.
00:06:08.960And in this case, it's this idea that people who are not citizens are going to be rushing to the polls to vote and that this bill will prevent that from happening.

00:13:52.420to let me go and they're rejecting those on the day when my flight is scheduled and they're doing
00:14:00.520it around the time of my flight and so they have failed to let me know about all sorts of major
00:14:07.160things sometimes I hear through the news what is happening in my case because they're not letting
00:14:12.060me know. Notice is a central part of due process, and they're failing to follow that.

00:18:14.260rights, Article 19 of which protects free speech and free expression. And so whether it's under
00:18:20.800the U.S. Constitution, whether it's under the Korean Constitution, or whether it's under this
00:18:25.420treaty that South Korea has ratified, there's no way that this should be deemed a meritorious case
00:18:32.460at all. It shouldn't even be in a South Korean court in the first place. If you imagine that
00:18:39.440someone in the U.S. decided to say something about Macron that Macron did not like, and
00:18:46.940the person decides to visit Normandy to think about D-Day and what happened there.
00:18:53.980And then they are hauled into a court in France, and they are not allowed to leave France because
00:19:00.900of the statement that they made about Macron back in the United States.
00:19:04.820That's an analogy of what's going on here.
00:19:09.440So, Juan Miko, once again, give me all your defenses about this. You're talking about procedure. Just walk through the official defenses for this thing, because obviously somebody in the State Department's got to get engaged on this, because it's outrageous we have an ambassador that was so prominent in the first term, now under basically house arrest in South Korea. So walk us through it.

00:20:46.520government can we count on because i think some people in washington are oblivious

00:32:06.240I think it's about helping the ally that resembles the United States the most in terms of the systems, in terms of the way the people think, the culture, not to mention just the love that the Korean people and Korean people have for America and for Americans.

00:32:34.640He was encouraging people to also get married and have families, which is something that has been, has gone down a lot in South Korea, sadly.

00:33:11.460And so Charlie really made a mark on his last international trip by coming to South Korea, so much so that after his death, you had young people marching through the streets of Korea, chanting, we are Charlie Kirk.
00:33:28.240And that was something that was really powerful to see how they were so inspired by him and so encouraged by him and so challenged by what he had to share that they just identified with him so much that they said, we are Charlie Kirk.

00:38:08.260Because I cut off that clip, but they said, hey, among young people, non-college educated young people, you're seeing a big shift and among college educated people away from MAGA.
