00:00:29.000I wish in my soul, I wish that any of these people had a conscience.
00:00:34.420Ask yourself, what is my task and what is my purpose?
00:00:38.180If that answer is to save my country, this country will be saved.
00:00:44.400War Room. Here's your host, Stephen K. Bannon.
00:00:51.660It's Saturday, 15 August, year of the Lord, 2026.
00:00:54.500as the arizona engine room informs me that today i think is the 55th anniversary of the petrodollar
00:01:01.200you're going steve what does that mean well i think one of the reasons we're engaged
00:01:06.060one of the many reasons we're engaged uh in that part of the world is the petrodollar one of the
00:01:11.500reasons we're engaged in helping to bail out the yen is uh support of the dollar you say what i
00:01:17.020don't really understand that that's why end of the dollar empire you have to have a national
00:01:21.780conversation if you want to end it however you could be ending it just with uh the current
00:01:27.420policies maybe we have on spending the two trillion dollar deficits on top of the 40 trillion
00:01:32.560debt there's a report out yesterday i'll break this down on monday that we're going to be in
00:01:38.02050 trillion dollars of debt in three years some aspect of that i'll make sure that we go through
00:01:43.560all of that into the dollar empire birchgold.com uh slash bannon into the dollar empire you get
00:01:50.820the whole history of that a free installments a ninth installment's coming as soon as philip
00:01:55.060patrick and i work out the graphics but get to philip patrick and the team the 55th commemoration
00:02:01.220of the anniversary of the petrodollar captain finnell natalie winters gonna join us in a second
00:02:05.820give us your assessment like i said we've been doing the show you know a long time we do a lot
00:02:12.080of controversial topics my phone blows up every couple of days but i don't think it's blown up as
00:02:17.080much is when Natalie Werners came out with this investigative report on flag officers
00:02:23.000actually taking money from going to these conferences, but really budding up to the
00:02:29.800existential threat that we have geopolitically, geostrategically, geoeconomically, the existential0.57
00:02:36.240threat that is the Chinese Communist Party. Your thoughts on that, sir?0.85
00:02:39.880Well, Steve, Natalie's reporting has been, in my opinion, this has been her best reporting
00:02:47.200to date. And the facts that she brought forward and exposed about things like the Sanya Initiative
00:02:55.300and the names that she's listed of former and retired admirals and generals that were involved
00:03:03.180with engagement with Chinese Communist Party front groups should shock Americans. It doesn't
00:03:09.780shock me, right behind my shoulder, you'll see a book called Embracing Communist China,
00:03:14.340America's Greatest Strategic Failure. My co-author, Brad Thayer, and I wrote this book in 2024,
00:03:19.620and we researched this extensively and talked to people that were actually working this back
00:03:26.060in the late 90s. Mr. Bill Triplett wrote a book called The Year of the Rat, where he exposed
00:03:32.040how the 2000 National Defense Authorization Act had to have included into the National
00:03:39.240Authorization Act, what they called the thou shalt nots. And those were congressional directives
00:03:45.120to the Pentagon that said, you shall not do this with the Chinese Communist Party.
00:03:51.240You shall not do this. You shall not do that. You will not show them this. You will not. It was a
00:03:56.980list of about 10, 12 things. It's in the book. It was in the NDAA. Why was that there? Because we
00:04:04.060were getting reports from the Pacific, from people down below the admiral's level that were calling
00:04:10.460back to the Congress and saying, I can't believe what we're doing. I can't believe we're talking
00:04:14.540to the Chinese about this. I can't believe we're talking about that. I was on the Kitty Hawk in1.00
00:04:19.0202004 in Port Hong Kong. We gave the Chinese Hong Kong Garrison Act. They came aboard and saw our0.68
00:04:25.600carrier. They've been on the East Coast, on board carriers and nuclear submarines on the East Coast.
00:04:31.860we've had a generation, generation, 30 years, 20 to 30 years of admirals in the United States Navy
00:04:39.580that have said, hey, we're going to engage with China. And we did. And we showed them things that
00:04:45.240we probably never should have, because we thought a lot of reasons. But one of them was, well,
00:04:50.620engagement's good, and it'll help everything get better. And by any objective measure,
00:04:56.360things have not gotten better. And this policy has been destructive. And what they don't want
00:05:01.560here. And what they can't stand is what Natalie did, which is when you put the names out there,
00:05:06.200because it blows up this mythology that they're these guarantors of our national security,
00:05:13.060when they're actually guys that are feathering their beds, getting paid through workarounds
00:05:19.540or whatever. And I'll say this, I don't think they're all evil people, but I think they've
00:05:24.580been misguided and they've been in this belief that America's in decline, that Chinese Communist
00:05:29.800Party's mantra, America's in decline, China's on the rise. And we bought into that, as you call0.99
00:05:36.820them, the credentialed class in Washington bought into that. And they told the Pentagon officials,
00:05:41.340if you want to become an admiral or a general, then you've got to follow this kind of general
00:05:46.100thesis. And they did. And some of them really did. And they made a lot of money on it,
00:05:50.960taking and bringing over other admirals and generals, and kind of, you call it grooming,
00:05:55.660the next generation of admirals and generals to believe and think the same way and so when i get
00:06:01.820upset about why did we gut the navy for 35 years this is a critical part of it um natalie winters
00:06:11.920your response on that and uh and this deep dive it's continuing on but i gotta tell you
00:06:17.880my phone blew up from people say oh she's so unfair we were just trying to help on engagement
00:06:23.360minute. We're trying to make sure there's a peaceful way forward. Your thoughts, ma'am?
00:06:28.100Oh, I'm sure. That's why, what, they never disclosed it until I read their names? Did
00:06:32.560they offer to come on War Room and tell you all the things that they learned about the Chinese
00:06:35.880Communist Party? I must have missed that episode. Also, spare me the idea that this is a cultural
00:06:41.840exchange. You're doing this with an explicit arm of the PLA, their political warfare department.
00:06:47.240And I'm sorry, but if you're that stupid enough to think that stuff like this is something that's0.97
00:06:51.260done altruistically and in good faith, then maybe I understand why we are in the footing0.98
00:06:54.860that we are with the Chinese Communist Party. To even go over there, the kind of vectors of
00:07:01.520influence and compromise that you are exposing yourself to, I mean, say goodbye to all your
00:07:06.980technical and data privacy, anything like that. Your phone's obviously being bugged, hacked. Your
00:07:11.020room is being bugged. They have, I'm sure. You know, even the waiters that you're interacting
00:07:14.980with at dinner, like we saw when President Trump went over there, they're trained intel officers,
00:07:19.060right? This whole entire thing is an intel operation. Sure, I'm sure not every participant
00:07:24.140probably, you know, was giving them classified documents, but the Chinese Communist Party is
00:07:28.620willing to plow and waste, you know, tens of millions, billions of dollars to cultivate,0.99
00:07:33.220you know, a handful of these grundoons to come through. And if just one of them, especially1.00
00:07:38.020someone who, I don't know, happened to, you know, used to be in charge of the Indo-Pacific theater,
00:07:42.580you know, hands over documents or stuff like that, that's what they're going for. So this idea
00:07:47.840that, you know, oh, it's done altruistically. It's just complete BS. These people were never
00:07:51.780forthright about it. And also, Steve, too, I mean, it's also just symbolic. I mean, do you see like
00:07:57.520former Chinese generals coming over to the United States to offer dialogues and partnership and,
00:08:04.600you know, mutual understanding? No, I missed that. You know why? Because the foreign pipeline channel
00:08:10.260only goes one way. It's American taxpayer funded research researchers, as we're seeing even
00:08:14.740yesterday, right? Harvard, all of these high-profile universities, billions of taxpayer dollars. Take
00:08:20.080the Wuhan Institute of Virology, for example. The exchange of knowledge and information only goes
00:08:27.120one way. And I think the biggest meta point to sort of debunk this idea that any of these
00:08:33.000exchanges can be done in good faith, even if they are, take that false premise at face value,
00:08:38.520what is the ROI in risking, right, the intel capture, the espionage that could happen there,
00:08:46.740the CI threats? Is there any upside? I'm sorry, but last time I checked, the Chinese Communist
00:08:52.700Party has only become more aggressive, right, especially in Taiwan. Their military buildup0.90
00:08:58.020is only accelerating. I don't see the United States really competing, you know, boot for boot,
00:09:04.400munition for munition when it comes to rebuilding our factories. So what's the point of sending
00:09:09.300these people over there? If you look at the geopolitical calculus and ranking and, you know,
00:09:14.500rate of hegemonic growth, the Chinese Communist Party is kind of trouncing us specifically by
00:09:20.960doing this, right? You read the charters of these organizations. This is why they exist. It's been0.93
00:09:26.240going on for decades. So there's so many layers to this. But like I said, and the story we'll get
00:09:32.720into i'll stop here but then you have the nuclear war side doing it too hang on one second
00:09:40.200captain finnell before i lose you people are you know used to maybe intel services the
00:09:46.740the uh other aspects of the deep state fbi the law enforcement working against this
00:09:52.200the military has always been kind of sacrosanct right and now we're calling people out and it
00:09:58.660shouldn't be lost on folks when you go through natalie's list there's a couple of three of the
00:10:03.180biggest critics of president trump in that group that are on tv all the time hammer and trump trump
00:10:08.320derangement syndrome uh is it uh your belief that people on this list maybe not all of them
00:10:15.300but some of them flag officers right some of the most prominent people uh that have been in our
00:10:21.240military the last 20 or 30 years do you actually believe they've bought into this concept that
00:10:26.520We're in the facilities trap that there's a rising China and there's a declining America.
00:10:33.100And what their responsibility is, is to make sure they manage the process, that we don't break out in some major global conflict with the CCP to defend America as a declining power.0.56
00:10:44.460I 100 percent believe that they believe that.
00:10:47.660And I know it because I've had discussions with them.
00:10:51.200I was back at the Office of Naval Intelligence in 2006 to 2008.
00:10:55.260I was the China senior intelligence officer for the United States Navy. That's all I did was look and study what China was doing and brief it to the Navy leadership and the fleet. And many, many times we had people said, well, we can't talk about this. We don't want to talk about that. What are we going to do? They're bigger than us. They have more bases. They have more people. They have more shipyards. It was always approached from that kind of perspective.
00:11:22.300And it was always approached from, well, if we engage with them, if we talk with them, we can get them to moderate and become more like us and accept the institutions and norms that we created after World War II internationally, and that everybody will get rich.
00:11:36.860And the facts are, as Natalie just said, and it's empirical, they have not got better. The Chinese are now flying across the Taiwan Strait a thousand times a year when they only flew across the Taiwan Strait, the center line, four times from 1954 to 2020.0.89
00:11:51.340They're launching ballistic missile submarines 7,500 kilometers into the South Pacific to test their triad.0.94
00:11:57.620They're building a fleet that's now larger than ours.
00:12:02.440And they're pressurizing, bullying, and threatening in the maritime domain, in the air domain, in the economic domain, in the information domain.
00:12:15.680And we gave them the wherewithal, the knowledge.
00:12:17.760Even if none of those four stars that are on that list gave them anything classified, just by talking with them and explaining how we do things, and I know they did more than that, but I mean, they were saying to them, I mean, we had one former Pacific Command commander went over to China and said, you know, what you really need is to have a non-commissioned officer corps, guys.
00:12:39.380if you want to really have a good Navy and a strong Navy, build your non-commissioned
00:12:43.780officer corps, build up your chiefs, and then you'll have a great Navy. A four-star U.S. Navy
00:12:48.200Admiral told the opposing Chinese Navy commanders that's what they should do. And guess what? They
00:12:53.500did it. Same thing with logistics ships. You need to have logistics ships. Well, they're building
00:12:57.940logistics ships. You can go down a list of things just in the Navy arena that I know about that we
00:13:02.900told them about, we showed them, and they replicated it and made it in mass. And we're
00:13:08.460going to suffer for this. And it's not going to be some kind of like we're experiencing right now
00:13:13.900with pot shots off the coast of Iran. It's going to be really, really deadly to America and our0.75
00:13:19.980way of life. And we need to wake up. And we were warned in 2000, in the NDA 2000, do not engage
00:13:28.600with China. And the Pentagon resisted that. They went ahead and did it anyway. And now we're in the
00:13:35.160things that Natalie's exposed are all just a demonstration of how the system is out of control
00:13:41.080because we wouldn't call the adversary the adversary and treat them as such. Can you imagine
00:13:46.820in the Cold War with the Soviet Union, a Congress in the 1950s or 60s having to pass a Defense
00:13:53.480Authorization Act that told the Pentagon, hey, don't cozy up to the Soviet Union. But that's
00:13:59.300what we did in 2000 with the chinese communist party in the prc captain finnell where do where
00:14:06.360do people get you i know you're not on social media where they get your writings uh when i do

00:17:31.340The French Revolution had a naive view of evil.
00:17:36.960They thought if we just get rid of the king and queen, get rid of all the authorities,
00:17:40.480the people will just give us utopia. Well, guess what happened? They got a bloodbath. Whenever you
00:17:47.380push God out and you have a high view of man, you think that human beings are basically good.
00:17:52.740That's not the biblical view. The biblical view is we're sinners. We need help. So when I think
00:18:00.000of the Bushies and I think of those folks having a naive view toward China, and oh, and by the way,
00:18:06.160we'll get rich too. But we'll just put that to the side. They had a naive view of evil. And they
00:18:11.860said, oh, we can work. We're going to work with you. We see what happened, basically. It is
00:18:16.380absolutely evil. And what they did, they sold out this country. So you have two views, basically.
00:18:22.160You have the French Revolution view and the American Revolution view. Our elites have taken
00:18:26.960the side of the French revolutionaries, not the American revolutionaries. And if you don't deal
00:18:32.900with evil. It's funny, Steve, because I think about this. Benedict Arnold, anybody who's read
00:18:37.980my book knows that the story of Benedict Arnold is just one of the most astonishing stories in
00:18:43.280history. And he had the view, again, this is the elite view, that we can work with the other side.
00:18:50.420The other side is good. When you work with the other side, when you give secrets to China,0.84
00:18:55.000when you open the door to China and say, you know what, they're just like us, let's talk with them.0.99
00:18:59.060You're opening the door to evil. You are a traitor, F-A-F-O. You are a traitor and you need to be dealt with. And so all those in the Pentagon, wherever they were that did this, this is treason. They have to be dealt with.1.00
00:19:14.540And the story of Benedict Arnold, I got to tell you, when you think of George Washington, we should ask ourselves, what would George Washington do? When George Washington understood the magnitude of what Benedict Arnold had done.
00:19:25.880There's also the story in my book of Charles Lee, who was not caught until, you know, recently we understood that he did treason before Benedict Arnold.
00:19:35.860But when George Washington understood what Benedict Arnold had done, he did not say, well, listen, let's take a wide view of the thing.
00:19:45.060He said he must be caught and executed.0.96
00:19:48.520And Major Andre, who participated with him, must be hanged.0.93
00:19:53.420Even people like Alexander Hamilton and the Marquis de Lafayette said, no, no, no, no, you can't hang Andre. He's a gentleman. George Washington said, if we do not have justice so that everyone can see what happens to someone who does this, we will not be able to go forward.
00:20:12.360And so today, when you spoke the other day that Biden can't get a state funeral when he dies, that we can't, if we do not have justice that everyone in America understands, we deal fairly.
00:20:23.300If you do this, this is what happens to you.
00:20:25.540If you don't have that view, it's chaos.0.80
00:20:29.060George Washington stood against his most loyal lieutenants and said, no, Major Andre must be hanged.
00:20:38.700And if we can catch Arnold, he will be hanged.
00:20:41.320What they have done is treason us. We have to show the world what happens when you commit treason, when you cozy up to the enemy, which is a nice way of saying commit treason. If we don't have that level, and again, this is for every American because, you know, you say, well, what difference would it make, you know, to quote Hillary Clinton, what difference at this point would it make?
00:21:02.300The difference it would make is that every American who believes in justice, who believes in justice under the law and the rule of law, who believes in all this kind of stuff, sees that you get away with this stuff.
00:21:14.820The generals and those folks who thought they knew more than President Trump went behind his back to talk to China, all of this has to be dealt with.
00:21:23.700And again, we have to ask ourselves, what would George Washington do?
00:21:26.940We can see what George Washington did.
00:21:29.600And a lot of people today, oh, that's so severe.
00:24:01.380It will lead to greater questions from these incidents because the size of the Navy, are we still going to have a carrier force?
00:24:10.560We only have three carriers on standby, three deployed, three on standby.
00:24:16.420The rest are in the yard or on training assignment.
00:24:19.300And so we really have to rethink what we're going to do.
00:24:21.740if we're going to have carriers as that premier instrument of geopolitics, Steve.
00:24:30.040Real quickly, where do people go over the weekend and get your reporting?
00:24:34.060Oh, sorry. Yeah. You can find me at all the socials at Reporter McCabe. Thanks for having
00:24:39.120me on, sir. I just want to make an observation. I got to talk to Parker Sig. Your Saturday hits
00:24:46.800are so more beautiful can we get it back up there do the full screen do the full shot
00:24:52.780look at that it's magnificent you do your own camera work and you do your own reporting it
00:24:58.660looks incredible sir best angle of the week thank you looking right there in the entrance
00:25:03.400of the west wing thank you thank you neil from steve bannon thank you
00:25:08.420get parker on the phone dr bradley thayer you know a couple three things about the chinese
00:25:15.600Communist Party, but you've broadened it out to talk about the 100-year struggle. This book is
00:25:20.880providentially, I think, the best time book in recent publishing history. What do you got for
00:25:27.900it, sir? Well, Steve, thanks for having me on. The book is just out. It really covers what
00:25:35.040Americans can sense, which is that we're in a revolutionary time in the United States.
00:25:40.020What's happening, of course, receives a lot of, of course, considerable attention, and rightfully so, from immigration to election fraud, all the topics that the war room is very importantly addressing.
00:25:54.340But we also need to look at why this is happening, who's driving this, and what's the intent.
00:26:00.820And what the book does is look at that history of who's driving it. And that's communists are
00:26:07.540driving this. Folks want to understand why the Democratic Party is operating the way it is.
00:26:15.180Well, the book argues, of course, that it's been taken over by Leninists. This is not your father's
00:26:21.360or grandfather's Democratic Party. This is a radically different Democratic Party who are
00:26:27.280working to transform the United States from a constitutional republic to a communist form of
00:26:32.640government. And it's happening today. It's right now. The evolution is covered in the book,
00:26:39.820but this is a critical time because how 26 goes and how 28 goes is going to determine whether the
00:26:47.940U.S. survives as a constitutional republic or whether it is replaced by what they want.
00:26:54.780They are. Hang on a second. We got about 90 seconds. Hang on a second. Hang on a second. We won a revolution. We won the Cold War. We're the United States of America. How can communism, we defeated it, we crushed it, how could it possibly be raising its ugly head inside the United States, sir?
00:27:09.340Because they're geniuses at political warfare, Steve. They're the New York Yankees of political warfare. They know how to penetrate and unhinge a society. They've got great experience at so doing.
00:27:24.360They know to target the ideas industry, K-12 education, universities, colleges, our media,
00:27:32.200our NGOs, our think tanks, our law firms, our law schools, of course. So obviously political parties
00:27:43.880like the Democrats, they know how to work through front organizations. They're extremely well funded
00:27:49.960through the ccp but also through soros foundation neville roy singham and his wife jody evans of
00:27:58.520code pink steve job's widow so they have the strategy they have a tent what's happening in0.89
00:28:06.120the united states is by design it's not an accident as the bolshevik said the worse the better they
00:28:13.240want to make things worse in the united states so that they advance their revolution that's why
00:28:19.880Hang on one second. Take a short break. We've got Natalie back up. She's going to rejoin us.
00:28:28.180We're going to talk about DFW and the Islamic invasion of the great state of Texas.0.97
00:28:32.300All of that next on a Saturday morning in the war room.0.95

00:29:48.880This is family-owned, family-operated.
00:29:52.560These people, Michael Kunzler and his team, are absolutely terrific.
00:32:02.240Well, I guess I've just found a new love for Texas.
00:32:05.440But people may remember there was the company that was putting up the billboard saying, you know, birth packages in South Texas have my baby in Texas, basically an anchor baby facility.
00:32:14.800They're currently being investigated by the attorney general, by Ken Paxton, for facilitating these kind of pay-for-play American citizenship schemes.
00:32:23.340And if you would believe it, Steve, the individual behind the parent company, so the foundation that runs these hospital networks, is a billionaire.
00:32:33.740Not sure about his immigration status.
00:32:35.920But he received the Joseph R. Biden Lifetime Achievement Award, if you can believe it.
00:32:40.560And his daughter is actually a member of the DCCC leadership circle. She lists herself as an advisor to Ro Khanna and Hakeem Jeffries. If you scroll through the article, you can see pictures of them with Joe Biden literally being a part of the inaugural committee, Barack Obama, Gretchen Whitmer, Kamala Harris, Gavin Newsom.
00:33:01.080there literally is a letter that joe biden sent her thanking them thanking the hospital company
00:33:07.340for helping them roll out some of their health care initiatives and i think this is just such
00:33:12.200an interesting connection right obviously we know this birth tourism stuff is something not just a
00:33:17.020that democrats don't want to shut down they love it it's free voters for them they also don't think
00:33:20.740there's any value to american citizenship as i as i had exposed and i'm sure you remember when
00:33:25.420gavin newsom's like press officer replied to my substack showing that they were letting
00:33:29.160non-citizen teens, conveniently, you know, just young enough before felony convictions could hit
00:33:35.580them. If they did anything wrong, they could be 16. But saying like, oh, what do you mean?0.65
00:33:40.240They're green card holders. They're citizens. They can participate in elections. This is a
00:33:44.100perfect example, right? These people don't believe in citizenship. But how this anchor baby stuff is
00:33:49.440a lot more nefarious than just like making money, making cash. It really is running directly to the
00:33:55.500know to the Democratic Party. I will, of course, keep digging in on this, and hopefully we have a
00:33:59.860DFW voodoo-style victory on this one, too. It's amazing. By the way, the great Amy McClure1.00
00:34:08.880Loomer was on this. You did reporting. What happened with Governor Abbott last night? What
00:34:14.460happened? Are we going to have to sit next to, stand next to foot-washing Muslims in sinks in1.00
00:34:21.300DFW airport, ma'am? Well, I guess actually now you may have to, since they're not putting in1.00
00:34:27.660the voodoo's, right? They're going to be washing their feet in the sinks next to you. Um, so to0.78
00:34:33.460bring people back to the story, um, I broke this Steve on the show. I had tweeted it out showing
00:34:40.180that the kind of like Texas planning commission specifically for the airport was planning to0.96
00:34:44.900spend $300,000 to put in these like foot-washing Muslim basins. It was specifically in Terminal
00:34:51.900D, like I said, for $300,000. And not to dismiss, like you were saying, Amy, Matt, Laura Loomer,
00:34:58.520the whole crew, there are so many airports. There are so many taxpayer-funded facilities,
00:35:03.340a community center in Ohio. I just was tweeting about that one today that have these kinds of
00:35:07.880things. A lot of airports, obviously Newark, Chicago, even in the Dallas airport now,
00:35:12.320they have some they were just expanding um but this i think is a real win for this audience
00:35:18.700um you know real grassroots activism because i think about maybe a day and a half after we posted
00:35:25.880it obviously the posse force multiplied amplified the heck out of this story it's outrageous
00:35:30.580obviously um governor abbott got involved he sent a letter saying that they were going to be
00:35:37.620investigating not just this grant but all grants all spending done by the airport saying that
00:35:41.620putting in stuff like this was illegal it's public um property you can't turn it into an
00:35:46.320Islamic center um and shortly after that letter came out um it was reported that the airport
00:35:52.420their spokesperson said that they were actually going to be canceling the program uh they were
00:35:56.780not going to be putting it in and it was kind of funny they were like kind of walking it back more
00:36:00.620and more like each hour at first the statement was like oh it was an accident that this was
00:36:04.880published or we're not actually totally sure we're even going to do it oh it's only going to cost
00:36:45.880And we had Wade Miller on yesterday, and I'm talking about denaturalizations, certification of mosque, and ones that can't get certified, which would be most of them, have to be shut down, denaturalization, and mass deportations.
00:36:58.460I'm sorry if that hurts your feelings.
