00:00:00.000Saying on the House was just one of his comments this week.
00:00:03.440I just want to share a little bit of what he had to say last night,
00:00:06.520because you mentioned how political this Treasury secretary has become.
00:00:10.480I was shocked when I heard him. Watch this.
00:00:14.040Under Joe Biden, Democrats brought this country to the brink of ruin.
00:00:19.820The radical left is relentless in their pursuit to remake America
00:00:25.080in the image of every socialist hellscape of the last century.
00:00:30.000If given power, the first thing they'll do is dismantle the gains we've made under President Trump.
00:00:38.180So the average American might not know that much about a Treasury secretary, but market participants do.
00:00:44.800And all I have gotten in the last week from big investors is he's a clown.
00:00:49.100He's arrogant. He has made a fool of himself.
00:00:51.720What in the hell is Scott Besson doing?
00:00:53.120And these are from people who early on.
00:00:55.120These are the guys who were calling Trump two years ago saying, pick Scott Besson, don't pick Howard Lutnick.
00:01:01.260And look what he's doing. How much credibility has he lost in the market?
00:01:04.640Well, even before this, when they came in, this is in early 2025, they wanted to target bond yields.
00:01:09.980That's the thing that they wanted to bring down. And look at how much they've risen.
00:01:13.800They weren't worried about the stock market, for all intents and purposes, causing this sort of wealth effect.
00:01:18.140Right. They wanted to target bond yields. Ten year yield in particular is trading at the highest levels it's been in three years.
00:01:24.880But here's one thing I'll just say is that the way in which yields have moved up right here, yes, it's affecting things like mortgages and credit card rates.
00:01:31.500And those are really important to the consumers.
00:01:33.340But if you own stocks and that is he represents the asset owning, you know, if you think about it, like category in this America, since the yields were back at like four, nine percent.
00:01:43.180OK, this is going back to mid 2023. Stock markets doubled.
00:01:46.760So think about that. So the stock market risk assets have not worried that much about yields going that much higher.
00:01:52.620So really what has to happen here is that if you have a panic around the world because of yield differentials, and we're not going to get some more of a Cato thing right there, I'm sure you wrote a lot about that recently.
00:02:02.620I mean, that's really the issue, that there's something going haywire among global central banks, global economies.
00:02:08.940I can see where the Republican Party and the American people stand.
00:02:14.200I can see that you know what's at stake.
00:02:17.220I see before me a movement that has never been more united or more determined to ensure
00:02:24.340we don't go back to the unfair trade or unfettered immigration.
00:02:37.620To a politics that places migrants who break our laws before citizens who abide by them.
00:02:44.020to a government that settles for stagnation,
00:02:48.720to a global order that prioritizes cheap labor over a strong American workforce.
00:02:59.880We must never go back to a nation that surrenders the freedom
00:03:04.600our founders sought to secure only to import socialism that free people fought to escape.
00:03:13.340We've come a long way under President Trump.
00:03:16.300Now it falls on us to show up when it matters the most, to continue this fight.
00:03:21.280So tonight, let the rest of this country look to Texas as it so often has.
00:03:27.080Let them draw hope that the movement behind our great comeback intends to keep going.
00:03:34.040It is Thursday, the 10th of September in the year of World War 2026 when we are live to the convention.
00:03:39.300We're honored to be joined by the greatest Secretary of Treasury since Alexander Hamilton,
00:03:44.280their former contributor and beloved, not just by the War Room Posse, but the entire
00:03:48.780MAGA movement, Secretary Scott Besson.
00:03:52.220Secretary, first, I want to go back to that speech last night, incredibly powerful.
00:03:56.340Walk us through, what were you trying to accomplish?
00:03:59.000What was the message you were trying to get out in giving that quite powerful speech last
00:04:31.880Two, that given the opportunity, the Democrats will take us right back to where we were.
00:04:40.040And as I've said many times, the reason I came out from behind my desk is I was worried that candidate Biden,
00:04:47.860then candidate Vice President Harris, would take us into a European-style social democracy where we do have a lot of debt.
00:04:55.780And their solution is increased regulation, increased taxes, and that would pull down growth.
00:05:03.060Growth comes down, more regulation, more taxes, rinse and repeat.
00:05:07.200And then finally, to say that we are back on the world stage and the American worker and the American people are benefiting from this.
00:05:18.780Secretary, every day we're getting hammered by MSNBC, CNBC, Bloomberg, all of it about tariffs.
00:05:24.800Everything we're doing for the working class and really the backbone of this country, you come from working class roots in the great state of South Carolina.
00:05:32.780Can you make make the case particularly to your critics now among many people who, quote unquote, supported you when you first secretary of treasury?
00:05:40.700Stephanie Ruhle is a big fan. She says the bond investors on Wall Street.
00:05:44.720They are really turning on you. And I think it's because they see somebody that's quite successful doing this.
00:05:50.940But what's your response to all the criticism about the tariffs, about what you're doing to drive manufacturing jobs back here, particularly your focus as Secretary of Treasurer on the working class?
00:08:48.600What was your strategy in doing it, and why now?
00:08:53.880Well, first of all, Steve, that I'm not doing it in front of an election.
00:08:57.600I'm doing it during a conflict in the Middle East.
00:09:02.000And the Iranians, if you look at their X accounts, that they are trying to create economic problems in the U.S.
00:09:10.060either from using the bond yields, using the oil price.
00:09:14.900And just because whether it's Stephanie, Bloomberg, the Financial Times, even the Wall Street Journal are so unhinged with Trump arrangement syndrome,
00:09:25.120They want to give the Iranians a platform to operate on.
00:09:31.280So my job as someone operating during a conflict like this is to ensure that the markets are stable.
00:09:40.920I frequently say, and no one seems to listen, I can't change the equilibrium price.
00:09:46.740I am just trying to slow things down, make people step back and look.
00:10:22.260What are they misreporting that you say is actually acts of commission, not acts of omission by the financial, the major financial press in the world, sir?
00:10:34.280Well, again, I said it during the press conference at the G20, first of all, that they platform the Iranians.
00:10:44.380Everything the Iranians say, much of it is rooted in fantasy.
00:10:50.880You know, there's some article, I think it's in the Wall Street Journal, it's in the Wall Street Journal, the New York Times this afternoon, that said the Iranians are rebuilding their missile inventory.
00:11:14.620And then the other thing, too, where I said I am the house, I didn't challenge people to come to me.
00:11:22.540What I have continuously said is that when I was on the outside as a macroanalyst, my job was to sit outside the room and try to create a framework.
00:11:35.960Now that I am on the inside, I am trying to create a framework.
00:11:39.960And many of these people, you know, again, they have such disdain for the administration, want to see us fail, or they would take their pocketbooks over patriotism that they don't want to listen.
00:11:53.120It was just like, you know, as I said, on Liberation Day, I went out, I was on the, I did numerous interviews, and I encouraged people to take a deep breath that these are the highest tariff rates we are going to see, barring retaliation.
00:12:13.300The only country that retaliated was China.
00:12:55.180They want to set up, like Scott Besson versus Kevin Warsh, that was rubbish, rubbish.
00:13:01.940Kevin and I have known each other for 20 years.
00:13:04.380And again, kind of back to framing, to think that I don't know what the chair of the Fed's thinking is, you know, is absurd.
00:13:13.460But if, you know, somebody sitting at a Bloomberg terminal can somehow, you know, divine and figure out what the Fed's going to do better than I can from my conversations with the chair, then they should have at it.
00:13:28.180The audience should know that Secretary Besson is giving this as the live presentation starting at the convention hall.
00:13:33.300It's quite noisy, so thanks for hanging with us.
00:13:35.720Mr. Secretary, I just got off doing an interview with BBC.
00:13:39.140They were absolutely consumed by the fact of the economic war and secondary sanctions,
00:13:45.040and you're asking British companies and British banks to participate.
00:13:48.980Can you walk us through your economic war plan, and why do you believe that this will succeed
00:13:53.360when obviously the kinetic part had maybe not the success that people going into it thought it would
00:13:58.600outside of the total obliteration of the nuclear program?
00:14:02.320Why do you think your economic plan – and I will tell you, in the city of London and in Europe, on the BBC, they are obsessed by this topic, sir.
00:16:03.680So over a two-week period, the score, 140 billion to zero.
00:16:09.700So if they want to say that they have control of the Strait, it's like for those of us who are old enough to remember the He-Man Women Haters Club and the Little Rascals.
00:16:18.500They're just a bunch of losers, like, sitting around saying, yeah, we're going to do this, we're going to do that.
00:16:24.620And then the third part is, for the first time ever, that we have five new authorities, many of them maritime, aviation, digital assets, and we are leaning into these.
00:16:40.640We sanctioned a large group of Iranian airlines, and we have threatened secondary sanctions with any company that does business with them.
00:16:50.480So the Iranians, they can land an airplane, but you better not give them gate services.
00:17:52.540And we are just going to continue with this process until everyone stops dealing with this regime.
00:18:00.720We will make it so unprofitable that if you want to risk an extinction-level event for your company or for your person, your personal finances, then have at it, but we are coming for you.
00:18:18.400Mr. Secretary, I know you've got to go. We appreciate the time.
00:18:20.760One last question. As you leave, not just for MAGA or for working class people that support the president, part of his core base, but for all working people in the country, particularly people that are starting to listen to the siren song of the Democratic Socialists and some of the people on the left.
00:18:37.380What is your message about Trumponomics and this kind of 10-year process we've had in your work in it, your effort in it?
00:18:45.020What should all working class and middle class people in this country, whatever their party affiliation or wherever their politics are, what should they understand?
00:18:53.920What are the takeaways you want them to understand about the economic plan of the president of the United States?
00:19:06.360There's an America on Saturday afternoon, loves college football and loves their country.
00:19:13.180Then there's another America that is trying to figure out how to bring everyone else down.
00:19:18.580There's an America who wants to take advantage on the no tax on overtime and work harder to improve the lot of themselves and their families.
00:19:27.580Or you get the Democratic Socialists who are overeducated, under-earning.
00:19:33.320Rather than move everyone up, they want to pull everyone down.
00:19:36.360And what I can tell you about this plan is if I look working families tax cut, one big beautiful bill, what President Trump has done is he has merged business with the working Americans.
00:19:53.160So on one side, we had very powerful incentives, the immediate expensing of equipment, immediate
00:20:00.200expensing of factories, immediate expensing of ag structures, and that is creating a
00:20:06.340building boom that is turning into a manufacturing boom.
00:20:10.820And then on the other side, we have the president's four signature policies, no tax on tips, no
00:20:16.020tax on overtime, the reduced taxes on Social Security, 85% of our seniors don't do that,
00:20:22.020deductibility of interest. And those are finally starting to hit. And we are seeing just like when
00:20:29.280you were involved with the president's first term, the bottom 25% of workers are getting above 3x
00:20:37.520what the top 25% are getting in terms of real wage increases or nominal wage increases. And
00:20:45.600And that's where the power of this is, and it is working, it is kicking in.
00:20:52.120I think we're in the liftoff phase, and it's all one policy.
00:22:13.180Philip, give me your assessment. You're a capital markets guy. Give me your assessment of the
00:22:17.500Secretary of Treasury Scott Besson's comments. Yeah, look, I think he was absolutely spot on
00:22:23.060with almost everything he said. And anybody that thinks that the Treasury Secretary is doing a
00:22:29.060poor job, I think is living in an alternate reality. They have to understand, as we've
00:22:34.420discussed many times, what he inherited, right? Trying to manage America's refinancing costs with
00:22:40.240nearly $40 trillion of debt is an extraordinary difficult task. But he needs a lot of credit for
00:22:47.120being, you know, for how creative and aggressive he's been about it. He mentioned working on Japan
00:22:52.700to strengthen the Japanese yen. People have to understand that is self-serving, right? We're
00:22:57.400preventing the Japanese from selling US debt. He mentioned how he's been expanding the Treasury
00:23:03.020buyback program. By the way, that was not a failure at all. I agree with him vehemently.
00:23:08.400He's been broadening demand for treasuries, exploring swap lines with our Gulf allies, not to mention the Genius Act, which I think was quite aptly named if we want to create demand for treasuries longer term.
00:23:19.940So I think he's been doing an incredibly good job with a very difficult deck of cards that was dealt to him.
00:23:27.240But I think he's working through it fantastically.
00:23:32.800I think that is the right place to go at this point.
00:23:36.220And I think what's interesting is it's not just sanctioning Iran. Right. We've been doing that for the last 50 years. It's hugely ineffective, but it's sanctioning anybody doing business with the ILGC.
00:23:48.200You know, we have a lot of problems with our currency, but the dollar network is strong.
00:23:52.540So, look, I think across the board, he is doing an incredibly good job with, like I said, a very difficult deck of cards that was there.
00:24:01.400Let me go to Stephanie Rule's comment. She says, hey, all these guys I know that actually called the president, and she's very dialed into Wall Street, called the president and wanted Scott Besson as Secretary of Treasury to go save a pair of hands.
00:24:13.120They're calling her now and saying, why are all these interventions? And Scott's getting too political. What are all these interventions that he's doing in the bond market? What are your observations about that?
00:24:23.920he's working with the reality of the situation that he has. Look, what we've done and the way
00:24:31.640we've managed the bond markets for decades has been simple in comparison to what Scott Besson
00:24:37.100is dealing with. We've had solid, strong demand for treasuries the entire time. Scott Besson is
00:24:43.800fighting a global bond market that is now looking at the fiscal position, by the way, that Besson
00:24:49.820and Trump inherited from the Democrats. They're saying, look, we want higher interest rates and
00:24:55.180he's doing everything he can to possibly manage it. Look at the Japan situation. I think it
00:25:00.040highlights what a balancing act Scott Besson has. We have one nation, a close ally of ours,
00:25:06.640that potentially have to reduce some exposure to our debt. And that causes a debt crisis at home.
00:25:13.440So doing things, managing things in the way that has always been done in what is a
00:25:17.620very different bond market, I'm afraid just isn't feasible. What was the alternative to Scott
00:25:23.360Besson? Howard Lutnick? I don't think so. Scott Besson has done an unbelievable job. And I would
00:25:29.500say that those people criticizing don't really understand the bond markets that well, quite
00:25:36.000frankly. Wow. Philip, where do people go right now to get to you, to get access, to walk through
00:25:42.320everything? Gold has been a hedge against times of turbulence. Turbulence we got, and we're going
00:25:46.480have a lot more of it before it's all over. Where do people go? I want people to make sure they
00:25:50.160contact you and your team right now to get all the free information and to make sure they get
00:25:55.080your counsel, sir. Very simple. Birchgold.com forward slash Bannon or text Bannon to 989898.
00:26:04.900Get End of the Dollar Empire series investment guides on how and why to invest in gold
00:26:10.600under this administration. We're working, as you say, on new copies. We're redoing the Trump
00:26:15.900guide as well. So a lot to look out for in the near future, but birksgold.com forward slash
00:26:21.800Bannon and just get the information. Do you agree with me that Scott Besson's the finest
00:26:26.860Secretary of Treasury since Alexander Hamilton? Yeah, absolutely. Listen, I was nervous following
00:26:32.160him today. I knew it was on the horizon. Philip Patrick, thank you so much. Such a good guy.
00:33:36.000Do you feel a sense of urgency and focus coming out of this, given last night's speech by both the Secretary of Treasury and the President of the United States?
00:33:46.460Yes, the sidewinder from the President of the United States.
00:33:49.220He is laser-focused, and that's why he has so many House members here speaking that are in, I would say, swing districts.
00:33:57.340So I saw Ryan McKenzie and other great Pennsylvania congressmen.
00:34:00.560But from across the country, these seats that are in trouble, he's giving them a platform.
00:34:04.560and he's going to give them wind and their sails so that they can push it over the finish line.
00:35:23.700Even Nancy Pelosi and Hillary Clinton said this stuff just 15 years ago.
00:35:28.940So this is what's happened in the United States Democrat Party is, I mean, it's a shame, but they've been taken over by lunatics.
00:35:36.700And so I really hope that people will choose the common sense solutions that the Republican Party, led by President Trump and his administration, are leading with.
00:35:46.880And that is a secure border, secure country, strong military, take care of our people, great paying jobs.
00:38:04.120Could the president make an emergency order and just make a pause?
00:38:07.460I know some industries do need immigrants to do the jobs that Americans aren't doing,
00:38:14.940but 90% of these jobs can be done by an American citizen and mostly done better.
00:38:20.740The visa program, H-1B, is mandated by Congress.
00:38:23.700That's why he can't just eliminate it.
00:38:25.620However, what Trump is doing, what the administration is doing, though, is actually quite brilliant.
00:38:29.640Look what Harmeet Dillon is doing as the Assistant Attorney General of Civil Rights.
00:38:32.800For example, H-1B visa, you have to prove that you have advertised for an American worker.
00:38:38.180You cannot find one unless you need a foreign worker.
00:38:40.940Well, they are setting up, these companies are setting up these websites where they don't actually advertise on their own page just to foreign workers.
00:39:25.860You know, we love Semaphore because of the way that you guys cover particularly the economy, the global economy, high tech, AI, all of it.
00:39:33.760Can you give us your even-handed assessment of what you saw last night on this debate about artificial intelligence and data centers?
00:39:41.380Because right now in the state of Texas, we've got a tied governor's race against Governor Abbott going for, I think, a third term and really somebody with limited name recognition.
00:39:50.260It's dead heat, and supposedly the issue is data centers.
00:39:55.860Yeah, thanks for having me on, Steve. You've always been a great friend of the working
00:40:01.100press and figured I should reciprocate. And yeah, I mean, the AI issue is becoming central
00:40:07.280to, I think, to these midterms and widely seen, I think, really as something playing
00:40:12.400out largely on the left. But your man, Joe Allen, held this debate here in Dallas last
00:40:17.860night that at least to me really crystallized the extent to which the kind of language and
00:40:22.340thinking of the right right now lends itself to skepticism of AI. As you said, he was debating
00:40:27.840Joe Lonsdale, a co-founder of Palantir, a very prominent venture capitalist and investor,
00:40:33.500and made the argument, among other things, that to your previous conversation,
00:40:38.440these AIs are algorithmic immigrants that are potentially taking American jobs.
00:40:44.580You know, and more broadly, I think, cast it as basically a regime that's being imposed on Americans who aren't being given a choice about it.
00:40:54.980And I just really struck me that Lonsdale is a very smart guy, just had not come with a clear answer to those lines of attack,
00:41:02.280was very focused on rebutting claims about like water use that are circulating and kind of factual questions rather than this larger sense that people are really unsettled.
00:41:13.180And so, yeah, usually in these debates, if events like this, nobody wins and nobody loses.
00:41:16.920In this one, it was quite clear that Joe Allen really kind of mopped the floor with him.
00:41:22.420Ben, help me out for a second because you guys cover this nonstop.
00:41:25.880The MAGA base and, quite frankly, the working class and middle class Republican base, this is an 80-20 issue.
00:41:32.140I mean, this is why someone like Governor Abbott that has huge support among folks in Texas is in a dead heat.
00:41:38.780This is why I think people would say even Byron Donald's does not have the spread that he should have in Florida, whereas Governor DeSantis thinks he's done a very good job about AI and tech.
00:41:51.220You go on Fox, and like yesterday, you got everybody coming up there and saying, oh, AI is great and data centers are fantastic.
00:41:58.400The political class and even the conservative media, much of them, are beholden to big tech.
00:42:04.460and we've got Elon Musk going to write a $50 million check,
00:42:06.960all kind of money is going to come in here.
00:42:08.780How do you see that from Summerforce's perspective playing out
00:42:13.000where you have a base that, and you see Joe Allen kind of speaks for that base.
00:42:16.680I mean, he was a rigger for country music acts five years ago
00:42:20.320when he started coming on the show as our editor for Transhumanism.
00:42:23.040How do you see that playing out in the midterms?
00:42:26.020Forget 28. It's going to be a huge issue going forward.
00:42:28.900But in the next 50 days, how do you see it shaking out?
00:42:31.400you know i just think it makes it really hard for president trump to cut through with this case he's
00:42:38.500making you know it's saying that he is kind of in sync with and speaking for the space that's
00:42:44.780really upset about this particular issue and his answer has been if you don't want this it's because
00:42:49.340you want to be broke you know like he's he is all in on for data centers i think it kind of is very
00:42:54.360distracting for republicans puts him in a difficult position i mean there's a flip side to this right
00:42:59.100Like many, many Americans who say they don't want data centers in their backyard really like using ChatGPT.
00:43:04.780And the experience in America is we complain about tech companies, we complain about social media.
00:43:09.680We never actually regulate them or do anything, and consumers really like them.
00:43:13.260I'm not sure it's as simple a political issue, but it's certainly a huge, messy distraction in the midterms.
00:44:15.040we're going to go right back to the convention.
00:44:18.060We're going to go right back to our studio and convention.
00:44:20.400I want to give a thank you to Real America's Voice for making sure everything's so possible and moving seamlessly.
00:44:26.280Also, the audience should understand when right now they're up and like Scott Besson's doing an interview or Ben Smith or Ambassador Sands, my co-host Caroline Wren, it is so noisy and it's so hard to keep in concentration.
00:44:42.560I don't think there's any doubt there's been a vibe shift.
00:44:45.660I think President Trump's one hour and 45 minute where he brought the heat last night is only he can.
00:44:51.900And think about it. He keeps saying, oh, he's 80 years old. He's an old man.
00:44:55.120He for an hour and 45 minutes. And trust me, most of that was not on what I call the glass.
00:45:02.480He was not reading off a teleprompter that was coming from the heart.
00:45:06.000Clearly, we've had a vibe shift. And like I said, we have a long, difficult task ahead of us in the next 50 days.
00:45:12.080We have to galvanize, I think, in 25, maybe 28 congressional districts, half of those that President Trump won, some by double digits in the 2024 presidential election.
00:45:23.560If we can thread the needle there, if we can thread the needle there, we can win this and also hold a couple of seats in the Senate.
00:45:55.820Let me say, people thought he did a great job.
00:45:57.980It was very, very loud here in the arena.
00:45:59.780And so I think tonight we're teeing up.
00:46:01.720I cannot wait to hear what President Trump says.
00:46:03.900You know, when I was on here last night, we were previewing the speech.
00:46:06.080We said, I hope they let Trump be Trump, and he goes off the cuff, and boy, did they deliver last night with that.
00:46:11.560I really thought that the speech did not feel like it was just overly scripted.
00:46:15.520It sounded like President Trump, I thought he was on message, but he was funny, and I thought it was one of the best speeches he has ever given.
00:46:22.360And so I look forward to hearing what he says tonight, and then also J.D. Vance.
00:46:25.960I'm very excited to see what J.D. Vance has to say.
00:46:28.220I've heard a lot of people in the arena saying they're interested in what he's going to talk about tonight,
00:46:34.000how he is going to handle an audience of this crowd and stepping into a big moment for him.
00:46:38.640So I think that people are just excited to be here.
00:47:29.220My name is Isaac with the Young Republicans of Texas, I'm the chairman.
00:47:32.480I think something that we really want to see, because these races are so competitive, is
00:47:36.740a focus on messaging to young people specifically.
00:47:40.760I think the things that Abbott has done with his kind of moratorium on data centers is excellent.
00:47:45.520I think expanding off of that would be to ensure that all hiring for these data centers
00:47:50.760is going to be going to only American young people.
00:47:54.040But beyond that, I think his position on the H-1B or stopping the H-1B program for public institutions, taxpayer-funded jobs, is excellent.
00:48:49.960I think they are not afraid to address some of those concerns that young men have about raising a family, about having a good career, about finding their place in the world.
00:49:00.300And I think that Fishback, at least to his credit, is offering some novel ideas.
00:49:05.700He cares about the moral fabric there in Florida, and he cares about the economic well-being of young people.
00:49:11.080So we've had people that were attending his event and a lot of people who are big fans of his.
00:49:16.400But I think he is a kind of a avatar for those figures who are coming next in politics, who are willing to pick up that burden that young people are feeling and really represent them.
00:49:28.800Glenn Story, while we had James Fishback doing this event for young men, you guys had a massive lunch for faith leaders the other day.
00:49:38.180How are we going to position this and frame it?
00:49:41.160You've got Tallarico running as a Christian, Glenn Story.
00:49:48.420What is the counterstroke we're going to do here to kind of lay out the case for the MAGA movement and the Trump movement and the Republicans that we are actually the party that really believes in the Christian faith and supports it, sir?
00:50:04.160You know, before I answer that, I just want to say how impressive is this to be an example of the young Republicans and guys that are trying to bring Texas back to the way it used to be?
00:50:37.980And by the way, my great-grandfather was here before Texas was a statehood.
00:50:42.660However, with that said, the real beauty is Texans believe in hard work, love their family, love the other groups, and really build a great state.
00:50:56.900And I'm not sure that anybody that's a real Texan can look at him and say, yeah, that guy's going to fight for me.
00:51:03.860No way, because he doesn't have a spine, because he wiggles on every damn thing he says,
00:51:09.320especially where he's sitting there going, hey, this is a meat-free campaign.
00:51:14.280And the reality of it is the next day you see him choking on a turkey leg
00:51:18.160because he hasn't swallowed meat in 20 years.
00:51:34.860Well, just to touch on that, I just want to say that James Fishback is a lunatic that just lost the Florida governor's primary by 40 points.
00:51:40.400If you are a young Republican in Texas actually looking for someone to look up to, I'd highly recommend Congressman Brandon Gill.
00:51:47.120I think that he is actually the model of what we should all be looking for as a family man who represents our country and speaks our voice.
00:51:54.460So I just wanted to put that in there.
00:51:55.640Now, as far as Paxton, again, I think Paxton is going to do extremely well.
00:52:00.620I think he will win by somewhere between four and seven points.
00:52:04.760Texas is not going to vote for James Telefrico.
00:52:08.140And the money is coming in right now for Paxton, but money is on everything.
00:52:12.180Ken Paxton just defeated John Cornyn, and $150 million was spent against Ken Paxton,
00:53:11.200Isaac, what about Ken Paxton and General Paxton?
00:53:14.020I mean, shouldn't we be coming together?
00:53:15.780Are there still Cornyn Republicans, in your view, that refuse to back Ken Paxton?
00:53:23.820Not any young ones, not any that I've met.
00:53:26.080I think people are overwhelmingly in support of Paxton, at least as far as young, motivated Republicans go.
00:53:32.820I think the people that are kind of still backing Cornyn tend to be a little bit more of that established Republican type.
00:53:39.720I think, though, that we need to absolutely coalesce around Paxton.
00:53:43.660I think that we've been block walking all across the state on his behalf with all of our clubs and have been kind of throwing our weight behind him.
00:55:30.180I think the media has done a great job putting out all the baggage of Ken Paxton over the last year or so.
00:55:37.180However, with that being said, I think when you really get into it with people, when you're knocking doors and you tell them, hey, I understand people aren't perfect.
00:55:45.520There's things that we don't like about certain candidates.
00:55:47.680However, what we know for a fact is that Paxton is an unbelievable fighter for Trump, for the MAGA agenda, for what is right in the state of Texas.
00:55:55.680And once you get that through your mind and you can put together the fact that he is a necessary component to bring about Trump's agenda in this state,
00:56:03.480I think people's hearts are kind of opened up to that.
00:56:07.140And they are willing to vote for him because they realize that this is ultimately exactly the direction we need to go.
00:56:12.140Senator Bernie Marino is going to join us.
00:56:16.220Hang on. Senator Marino, get hooked up. I'm going to go real quickly. Taylor Mitchell out at the Charlie Kirk. Taylor Mitchell on the Charlie Kirk. What's going on on the campus? Do we have any protest?
00:56:26.100yes well we just got in no protest yet i know that that's supposed to be happening a little
00:56:32.900bit closer to 6 30 mountain time when that starts but we're on campus where charlie kirk gave his
00:56:38.640final speech one year ago and just around the corner we're just around the corner where charlie
00:56:43.200kirk was assassinated it's been a peaceful morning so far but we do know that there are again like
00:56:48.440you said planned protests later security is on standby in case anything gets out of hand we've
00:56:53.280seen armed security or armed police around as well but we uh we've really been seeing a lot
00:56:59.220of supporters we've seen supporter after supporter come and pay their respects there are pictures and
00:57:04.120flowers under the flag where he was assassinated plus listen to this a man traveled all the way
00:57:08.860from michigan with a massive cross to pray and honor charlie kirk and people have been coming
00:57:14.060to pray under that cross as well today what a beautiful tribute and not long ago supporters
00:57:19.320were seen with chalk under the tunnel there, drawing flags and writing encouraging notes
00:57:23.680for Charlie, like, well done, Charlie.
00:57:25.900It's been such a beautiful day after such a sick tragedy.
00:57:28.920And I also want to add, one of my favorites of all, there's a young supporter, he looks
00:57:32.980like a teenager, he's been standing in the hot sun for hours with an American flag paying
00:59:02.540We're going to continue to advance that.
00:59:04.340But look, the only thing I'd ask is a little grace here to understand that the Democrats are at historic levels of absolute total obstruction.
00:59:13.860We're going to have nine new Republicans, no matter what, maybe even more, that come in and are sworn in in January.
00:59:20.120That's our opportunity to get Save America done and all the rest of the agenda completed that we need to get done.
00:59:27.220Senator Marino, before we let you go, last night a lot of people, in particular MSNBC, CNBC this morning,
00:59:31.740said the $5,000, what President Trump said about the tariff payment is a gimmick. That's a desperate
00:59:37.100gimmick. You said no way. You're putting forward legislation. Walk the audience through why it's
00:59:41.900not a gimmick and why you think this is serious and you're putting it forward in legislation, sir.
00:59:48.300Absolutely. This is extraordinarily essential, Steve. As you know, our responsibility is to
00:59:53.500working American citizens. So what we're going to do is a one-time dividend so that American
00:59:59.500workers get the benefit of the success of this nation to get them back to what I call level
01:00:04.880because Joe Biden destroyed working Americans. We have so much investment coming in, so many great
01:00:11.240opportunities for working Americans, but it's not kicking in right away. So what we're going to do
01:00:15.200is we're going to put in a market access fee. You can call it a tariff in legislation so it's
01:00:20.220permanent. Over a 10-year window, it'll bring trillions of dollars into the U.S. Treasury.
01:00:25.900We're going to front load that and give every American citizen, every working class American citizen, a $5,000 dividend.
01:00:33.920I hope to get that money out the door sometime next year to provide the important relief that they need now.
01:00:42.180Okay, Senator Marino, where do people go for your social media?
01:00:46.480People want to find out more about you, more about what MAGA's doing in the Senate, and particularly this $5,000 bonus.
