00:00:28.280I wish in my soul, I wish that any of these people had a conscience.
00:00:34.180Ask yourself, what is my task and what is my purpose?
00:00:37.920If that answer is to save my country, this country will be saved.
00:00:44.280War Room. Here's your host, Stephen K. Vann.
00:00:50.940Friday, 18th September in the year of our Lord, 2026.
00:00:54.680Mike Davis is going to join us. Big development. Julie Kelly.
00:00:58.280who is, as I think people know, her husband's running for in this competition for mayor of Chicago.
00:01:05.020She's very tied up, although she's putting up great content all the time where I get to one of her pieces.
00:01:11.520Mike Davis is going to break it down for us.
00:01:13.120Also, Natalie Winters has a whole series of victories here, particularly some of them dealing with the Chinese Communist Party.0.99
00:01:20.580As you know, that's where Natalie cut her teeth here on the show.
00:01:24.260And she's going to be but she's going to join us here momentarily.
00:01:27.280I'm also trying to get Mark Mitchell of Mark Mitchell conjoints. Mark's got some amazing polling out on, wait for it, economic, economic populism and how people actually love it when you explain the policies to them and they can see the they can see the impact of it.
00:01:45.660So we're trying to get Mark Mitchell up also to go through that.
00:01:48.740One of the reasons I wanted to spend time, a little time on business today is that it's actually a foundational element of President Trump's presidency.
00:01:57.740There are many things that are going great and they're trying to twist everything in the Trump derangement syndrome to, you know, to defeat him.
00:02:05.240And I realize everybody's not happy, right?
00:02:07.900Everybody's not everybody's not 100 percent thrilled on some of the things that are happening.
00:02:15.480I'm not happy by some of the things I see going on also, but if you didn't have Trump, you wouldn't have a country, full stop.
00:02:22.000You've seen what the alternatives are, and trust me, it is coming, and it's coming even in a bigger and more brutal and darker way than I think anybody imagines.
00:02:33.940and this movement is now and it's what 10th year 12th year maybe taken over from the tea party a
00:02:42.320little longer than that the roots of that maybe even back to some of the Rand Paul stuff or some
00:02:47.520of the Ron Paul elements some of the elements of Buchanan Reagan all of it and you can't you just
00:02:56.360can't sit there and abandon and say oh this was done and I hate it and now I'm going to flip you
00:03:01.140can't do that because if you get shattered, it'll take you decades to get it back. And they
00:03:07.140understand that this is why this whole discussion now about Trump and Trump ism, right? Trump and
00:03:12.200Trump ism. So, um, you can't, um, you know, you can't, you can't separate these two and then it
00:03:19.300will continue to go on. Um, I want to make birch gold right now. Make sure you, uh, make sure you
00:03:25.280go and, uh, and, and get it, uh, Bannon. I, there's two ways to get access to Philip Patrick
00:03:30.520team. Phillip is actually going to be with me again tomorrow morning. We're going to go more
00:03:35.060through more of this. In fact, we're going to take the Rappaport story and also go through it
00:03:39.820to show what a bald face lie that is. But the big thing is go to Birch. I think the easiest way is
00:03:45.100take your phone out, text Bannon, B-A-N-N-O-N at 9-8-9-8-9-8. And make sure that make sure you
00:03:53.460get to Phillip Patrick's team. There you get the ultimate guide for investing in gold and precious
00:03:59.180medals in the age of Trump. Also, Natalie Winters is going to join us here momentarily. I want to
00:04:06.240go back to, you got this big state dinner that's going to take place. I gave this talk last night
00:04:11.460for the launch of Thatcher's book. We had a great, okay, I got Mike Davis. Hang on for a second.
00:04:19.180Dr. Thatcher's, Dr. Thayer's book, which was amazing. I want to thank Karen Siegman, Dr.
00:04:25.580Sigmund and others for helping, uh, for helping launch. I was a great group last night. I had a
00:04:30.680few remarks about the Chinese Communist Party. I'll get to those momentarily. Uh, Mike Davis
00:04:36.120now joins us. A viceroy, Julie Kelly, explain, and let's put it up. Let's put, we got the Julie0.99
00:04:41.300Kelly story. So let's, let's put this up. Explain, is this a conspiracy that's going on? I mean,
00:04:46.740what is going on with his judges? And I understand, and the reason I want to get you up, I understand
00:04:51.120Article III, the Article III project may be taking some action on that?
00:04:56.380Yeah, you have these federal judges in Minnesota who, you know, while they may be appointed by a
00:05:04.240president, they're hand-selected by the home state senators, the Democrat home state senators under
00:05:10.160our blue-slip BOCA system we have in the Senate, where home state senators get to pick these
00:05:15.780district court judges, and you have these district court judges in Minnesota who are giving
00:05:22.300interviews to the New York Times about cases that have come before their courtrooms, which is a big
00:05:31.320problem. It's a violation of the judicial canons. They're also, according to this New York Times
00:05:41.620interview, they're also alluding amongst themselves on these cases and coming up with case strategy
00:05:49.060and case theories amongst themselves on how they're going to fight President Trump and his
00:05:55.500immigration enforcement in Minnesota, his immigration enforcement that is required by
00:06:01.980federal statute passed by Congress, our duly elected members of Congress. So federal statutes
00:06:08.640are not a suggestion. The president has an Article 2 constitutional duty to enforce those
00:06:15.660federal statutes. And these activist judges in Minnesota are conspiring to undermine
00:06:22.020presidents and then to give highly inappropriate interviews to the New York Times about this.
00:06:31.100So the Article III project is working on a judicial misconduct complaint right now that we intend to file and hold these judges accountable for this.
00:06:43.400There has to be an investigation, and we're not going to allow the Chief Justice of the United States or the Eighth Circuit or any other judicial body to just sweep this under the rug.
00:06:54.680We are also going to work with Chairman Chuck Grassley on the Senate Judiciary Committee, my former boss, who has long hauled for accountability for the federal judges when they violate the judicial canons like this.
00:07:10.680okay hang on for a second hang on hang on because this julie kelly's piece is so explosive
00:07:16.720you've got federal judges with lifetime appointments that are working together
00:07:23.520behind the scenes and coordinating colluding to thwart on the books immigration law and you can
00:07:31.240see that happen in minnesota this is the big problem we had with bovino commander bovino and
00:07:35.500people when we want to do the mass deportations or just even the deportations of the bad hombres,
00:07:42.020which, as you know, we're not fan. That has to happen, but it can't stop there.
00:07:45.620But they're colluding on all of it. First off, have you ever heard of that? Davis,
00:07:50.540you've been around a while. You're a student of this. Have you ever heard of that happening
00:07:53.980at any other time in American history with federal judges, sir?
00:07:58.780No, I clerked on the 10th Circuit Court of Appeals. I clerked on the Supreme Court
00:08:04.200of the United States. I've been in and out of courtrooms for 20 years. I was the chief counsel
00:08:10.100for nominations on the Senate Judiciary Committee with the federal judiciary oversight portfolio.
00:08:15.980I've never heard of this. I've heard of one-off judicial activism, one-off judicial sabotage,
00:08:23.060where you have some activist judge in D.C. or New York or Boston doing something wacky. I've
00:08:29.140never heard of an entire district like the District of Minnesota, where the judges are
00:08:35.220colluding to undermine the duly elected president of the United States with his electoral mandates
00:08:42.340to enforce our federal immigration laws that are passed by our elected members of Congress
00:08:48.060and on the books. Again, immigration statutes, like any other statutes, are not suggestions.
00:08:54.440their mandates, and the president has the constitutional duty to enforce those statutes.
00:09:01.140And these judges, it's not their job to second-guess the policy decisions of our duly
00:09:08.200elected members of Congress. And it's certainly not their job to undermine, to have this judicial
00:09:14.880sabotage against the president of the United States when he's doing his job. And so these
00:09:20.260judges must be held accountable. And the Article 3 project, as I said, is filing a judicial
00:09:27.220misconduct complaint against these judges who think it's their job to sabotage the president
00:09:34.020and then run to the New York Times and brag about it. But this is kind of the John C. Calhoun
00:09:42.400secessionist faction of the Democratic Party, which is like 99% of them. They realize in seeing
00:09:49.160this, they know what's going on. They say these courts have our back. These courts are essentially,
00:09:54.480you know, it's the equivalent of like Dred Scott back in the 1850s. They know the courts are going
00:10:00.980to have their backs. That's what's so, so there has to be a mechanism in place. God love, I love
00:10:06.100Article 3. We do, you know, the war was the biggest supporter of you guys. I love the fact
00:10:10.960that you're getting involved and the viceroy is going to take it. But isn't there something in
00:10:14.960the system that immediately should go and not just investigate, but investigate quickly,
00:10:44.780the executive branch can open a criminal probe on these judges. You don't have judicial immunity
00:10:50.560when you're conspiring like this and sabotaging the duly elected president and undermining
00:10:59.120statutes passed by Congress. You can also have the House Judiciary Committee and the Senate
00:11:06.660Judiciary Committee open investigations. You can bring in articles of impeachment or open
00:11:12.120impeachment inquiries. And really, this is Chief Justice John Roberts' responsibility
00:11:17.500to get his own judicial house in order. And that's, frankly, Chairman Chuck Grassley's points,
00:11:24.300where Chairman Chuck Grassley has called for an independent inspector general
00:11:28.540within the federal judiciary for many, many, many years. And the chief justice has fought this
00:11:34.720and said, no, you don't need an independent inspector general within the federal judiciary.
00:11:40.260we can handle our own affairs. It's very clear that Chief Justice John Roberts did not handle
00:11:47.820his own affairs because this keeps happening over and over and over, where you have these
00:11:54.260activist judges illegally sabotaging the duly elected president, right? This is corruption
00:12:01.220within the federal judiciary. And of course, the Chief Justice hasn't done anything about it in
00:12:08.100the past and he won't do anything about it going forward. Okay. Hang on. You're getting to the
00:12:12.600heart of the matter because this is just not, we've, you have dealt in Julie Kay, you've been
00:12:18.200on the show now, uh, for a couple of years, but particularly when president Trump got here,
00:12:22.200stop his policies of, of what we call rogue federal judge. And that frontline is where
00:12:26.900they slow us down. They stop us. It gets reversed later. May have to go to the Supreme court,
00:12:30.760uh, to, to back president Trump in his article two powers, but that's one, you know, that's
00:12:36.380these individual rogue judges this shows collusion among a group of them to make it even more
00:12:42.760formidable and we found out about it in the new york times this is going don't i believe this is
00:12:48.220going on in a lot of these circuits right with this open collusion that they know about and
00:12:54.920they're kind of thumbing our nose at it that is a type of massive investigation or doj to get
00:13:01.020involved and start throwing out some criminal indictments. Is that isn't that the only way?
00:13:06.400I mean, we've got to get serious about this on this one to then go after the others and spread
00:13:11.700essentially fear to these people that if you do it, you're going to be locked up. Mike Davis.
00:13:17.340Yes, this is egregious judicial misconduct by these Minnesota judges. Not only are there are
00:13:24.040Are they illegally polluting, conspiring to sabotage our federal immigration statutes that they disagree with?
00:13:33.920Apparently, they need to resign from the bench and run for Congress if they disagree with those.
00:13:38.860But it's also more egregious that they've run to The New York Times and complained about cases and complained about parties to The New York Times.
00:13:48.520If these judges have issues, they need to resolve them inside their courtrooms, not inside the reporters' offices or on the reporters' phones at a media outlet like the New York Times.
00:14:02.260That is egregious judicial misconduct by these judges.
00:14:10.060Mike, I know you got a ball, but just hang through the commercial break.
00:14:12.920I got one other question on how we get coordinated action on this.
00:14:18.020Mike Davis, the vice, where he's with us.
00:14:20.720Julie Kelly, an amazing piece from Julie Kelly.
00:14:23.120I think it's also going to be a deeper piece today, I think, put up on her substack.
00:16:59.200And we're going to have Natalie Winters on in a minute.1.00
00:17:01.640And Natalie's got another bigger expose. She's done brilliantly. And no offense, Mike Johnson, we did not. And we're going to have our favorite judge, Bozberg. We did not impeach or start impeachment of votes or hearings on even one of these judges to the midterm election.0.78
00:17:18.300So, Mike Johnson, you've got to have responsibility for this. Davis, the reason they're so blatant, they don't think we're going to do anything about it. They think we're a bunch of wimps.
00:17:29.260This is collusion of federal judges to basically to make sure that the John C. Calhoun successionist program of the sanctuary states and sanctuary cities are fully backed up to allow 25 million or 22 million illegal alien evaders under the illegitimate Biden regime to remain in the United States of America, Mike Davis, because they don't think we're going to do anything about it, brother.
00:17:56.440you're you're not wrong and i would just say this to these judges to chief justice john roberts you
00:18:04.320better get your house judicial house in order here because i know that not only will chuck
00:18:09.520grassley support legislation to bring an ig to the federal judiciary i know the democrats that
00:18:16.180they take over the house and the senate are very eager to do the same so if the chief justice once
00:18:23.820again prove that he could not get these rogue judges in line to follow the law, follow the
00:18:32.640judicial canons, I think Congress is going to do it for the chief justice. And I know from my time
00:18:37.840as the chief counsel for nominations on the Senate Judiciary Committee, the chief justice did not want
00:18:42.540that legislation. Well, there's going to be a dam breaking on that if we can't get the judicial
00:18:49.220House in order. If we have these Minnesota federal judges conspiring to undermine federal law
00:18:56.000enforcement and federal statutes on the books on immigration, that's a big problem. And particularly
00:19:01.980in Minnesota, that's overrun by Somali warlords and pirates who are fleecing hundreds of millions0.98
00:19:09.740of dollars from our treasury. And they just, these same Somali warlords and pirates turn into0.80
00:19:16.840Democrat precinct captains for, for elections. This is a big problem. I, I, I am at a loss for
00:19:24.680why these federal judges think that they can conspire to try to subvert federal immigration
00:19:31.560law, federal immigration enforcement, and then go brag about it to the New York times. That is clear
00:19:37.900judicial misconduct and the chief justice needs to get this resolved or Congress is going to do
00:19:44.660it for him. Okay, where did they go in Article 3? I know you guys are going to get involved.
00:19:49.520You're drafting something right now. Where do people go and keep up to speed with it,
00:19:54.580see what you're doing in your social media, sir? Yes, Article3project.org, Article3project.org,
00:20:02.080and we are moving forward with a judicial misconduct complaint against these Minnesota
00:20:06.560federal judges. Mike, thank you so much. Appreciate you. The vice chair.
00:20:11.000now we can roll right in to natalie winter's investigation so natalie you've got i'm gonna
00:20:19.740let you take it because this guy i don't understand why this guy was not impeached or at least the
00:20:26.380effort to impeach him under johnson in the house and you wonder why people are sitting there going
00:20:32.360why am i going to go knock door to door why am i going to canvas why are we going to get out the
00:20:36.820vote why are we getting low propensity voters you got to give people something a day and john says0.71
00:20:42.580oh it's the most productive house ever no i don't think so homie don't think so most productive0.70
00:20:49.560would have had some impeachments some of these uh outrageous rogue federal judges natalie winters0.77
00:20:55.660you've got my favorite what do you got for us well i mean we can't even impeach rogue judges
00:21:02.120but the democrats are already what they have their impeachment articles probably several
00:21:05.860renditions of them drafted for President Trump. We don't even have to make up the charges. I think
00:21:11.580my reporting makes it pretty clear when it comes to Judge Bosberg, who I'm sure people recall,
00:21:17.320someone who you couldn't even, I think, write in a Hollywood villain movie from the physiognomy
00:21:21.860to his actions to his rulings, but delaying, canceling the deportation flights, the Kilmar
00:21:27.440Elbrego Garcia case, some interesting Chinese ties, which we'll get into beyond what I just
00:21:33.500exposed. But people, I'm sure, remember this organization that I have railed on for years now
00:21:39.220about, the China-United States Exchange Foundation. It is the tip of the spear when it comes to the
00:21:45.160CCP's efforts to infiltrate, sure, all of America, but particularly Washington. Politicians, think
00:21:52.140tank types, people in the media, you name it. Well, of course, judges, I would put it no further
00:21:57.160than the Three Warfares Doctrine when it comes to how they target and weaponize lawfare against us.
00:22:01.600Of course, they're going after them, too. Judge Bosberg is no exception. And I would actually say, frankly, he's the poster child for what it means to have CCP assets, espionage and propaganda fronts in contact with judges.
00:22:16.180he was a nine-time host, if you can believe it, for Chinese fellows. And Steve, every part of0.55
00:22:23.900the story gets more ridiculous as part of an exchange program. And I want Denver, pictures
00:22:29.180are worth a thousand words, this one should certainly be worth an impeachment, to put this
00:22:33.340picture, quite a damning picture up on screen, of Bosberg sitting in his chambers. It's unclear
00:22:39.140if those were actually the FISA court chambers, as in the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act
00:22:44.740Court, which he was a part of, was a FISA judge for, I believe, six years. One of them, he was
00:22:48.860actually the lead judge of the court. But he invited Chinese nationals in, giving them, as
00:22:54.860they bragged, you know, unfettered access, the ability to speak with judges, learn about the
00:22:59.980American legal system. They don't even euphemize it as it's some, like, positive exchange. It's
00:23:05.000basically just a one-way street where literal Chinese citizens get access to America's top0.91
00:23:10.700secret court. Could you imagine the reverse happening? I don't think so, or you certainly0.81
00:23:16.520would not live to tell about it. But this exchange, it's sponsored by the US Asia Institute,
00:23:21.380which in and of itself is similarly a pro-China united front group, much like QSEF. It was founded
00:23:27.500in 2008 between two very interesting characters. One, actually a communist party secretary in
00:23:34.000Shanghai, Sun Chao, so again, a CCP-founded exchange group, but in conjunction with his
00:23:41.200American lackey, Matthew Szymanski. Now, this individual is very intriguing because he himself
00:23:47.700is another poster child for PRC Compromise, whether it's the fellowships at Chinese state
00:23:52.820universities or the fact that he was actually the vice president for corporate relations at SMIC,
00:23:58.880as in the Semiconductor Manufacturing International Corporation, that is the
00:24:02.700Chinese semiconductor company that was actually added to the entity list, as in it was blacklisted
00:24:08.500by the United States for its ties to the Chinese military. This guy was lobbying for them.
00:24:15.700And these are the two geniuses that came together to create this exchange where they boasted that
00:24:21.360Chinese nationals, again, I don't even like the term Chinese students, that's too euphemistic.
00:24:26.420Chinese nationals, aka not just dormant Chinese spies, but probably Chinese intelligence,
00:24:32.700assets, were given, quote, exclusive conversations with influential actors and got to witness
00:24:38.540proceedings, quote, few are ever able to witness firsthand.
00:24:43.880Bozberg, like I said, was a nine-time host of this program.
00:24:47.640Per the reporting or the records that I saw from this group, I believe he is the judge
00:24:52.140that hosted these people the most, which is quite interesting.
00:24:58.000That was while he was on FISA, so six times.
00:25:00.180And then again, in 2022, 2023, 2024, how you could continue to host people from this group, which by then had already been flagged as a spy group, I mean, that was all the way back in 2013, but let alone post COVID, let alone post, you know, the trade war is beyond me.
00:25:18.720But Steve, the other interesting angle here, besides, I mean, just clearly trying to make President Trump's agenda much more difficult to implement, right, make it really hard for us to deport illegal aliens, criminal illegal aliens at that.
00:25:31.560But Bozberg, you know, the assignments in D.C. are always very interesting, right?
00:25:36.100He managed to be the judge assigned to the case that had to do with Secretary Hegsett's Department of War trying to add Wuxi, a very shady Chinese biotech company, to a similar entity list that SMIC, one of the companies that the founder of this program was lobbying for, but added to the entity list.
00:25:58.280So sanction them for the PRC proxy that they are, which there's a whole list of documented ties there, but I would posit that any Chinese company is essentially a dormant state-owned enterprise. They can very easily invoke Article 7 of China's national intelligence law, and there you go, suddenly you're doing the bidding of the CCP.
00:26:14.720Now, this group, this company, was actually forbidden, forbade from being added to the entity list because Judge Bosberg stepped in and said that it was a horrible decision.
00:26:28.140They were just destroying their reputation.
00:26:38.700But like I said, Steve, the top line assessment here, Judge Bosberg hosting essentially Chinese spies as part of a, the euphemistic way of describing it is a Chinese propaganda organization.
00:26:50.760It is an intelligence gathering and collection group, which it was already declared that by the United States government years before he was hosting these people.
00:26:58.460And then all of a sudden you see him on the bench, literally giving the CCP the ideal decisions that they would want and actively undermining what President Trump was trying to do on the immigration front.
00:27:09.560I think this warrants an investigation, which I'm sure would probably lead to impeachment.
00:35:43.260And people were like, finally, I like what we're seeing out of this guy.
00:35:46.520First couple of months of his second administration were great, and then all of a sudden, you know, Liberation Day hit and sort of Doge went away and people were like, something's not right here.
00:35:56.200And now those red and those purple lines are farther apart than they've pretty much ever been on the chart, almost as bad as the height of COVID.0.52
00:36:05.040And a lot of that's obviously because of the Iran situation and the way that prices haven't come down.
00:36:10.760Now, you could say, again, Trump has gotten CPI under control, but I'm here to tell you that's not enough, according to this chart for Americans.
00:36:19.040And this is the brutal reality of about how public opinion works.
00:36:25.340They have to deal with their wallet every single day.
00:36:28.460And Republicans seem so insulated for that.
00:36:30.640They think they're going to come in, they're going to be able to run on the Dow hitting $50,000, and they're going to be able to run on these investments that are going to pay off over a 10- or 20-year timeline.
00:36:41.820Americans aren't feeling this anymore, and we're not in the country where everybody is a binary red team, blue team voter.
00:36:49.360So here's what I've been saying for a very long time, and I want to say it again.
00:36:53.900Americans are probably going to vote for socialists this time.
00:36:57.340Now, America is not like they don't want to be a socialist country. People think we're a capitalistic country, but they also think that the traditional conservative parts of capitalism have failed.
00:37:09.480This idea that we can continue to run on Art Laffer and Reaganomics and tax cuts for corporations and that eventually people will realize that that's the principled position and that we need to go back to that or everything else is socialism.
00:37:21.960Those days are passed because Americans are increasingly becoming socialistic out of desperation.
00:37:27.900And if you want to beat socialism, the only alternative is to focus on rebuilding the middle class every day.
00:37:35.080That's got to be your primary focus, and that's what people, I think, thought they were getting out of the second Trump administration.
00:37:41.020They wanted somebody to get in there and take retribution against a broken system.
00:38:12.760And we can talk all we want to about it now, but the window is basically closed because we're here a month and a half away from an election where the Democrats are up nine points among likely voters right now.
00:38:25.660So, I mean, they're going to lose Congress.
00:38:29.080Like the Republicans are almost certainly going to lose Congress.
00:38:31.540And at this point, as a pollster, there's nothing I can really do other than, Kimmy, and I guess you have this, you can't vote for socialist messaging, and that will get a lot of your core Republican voters out, but it's not going to get that 35% of Trump's 2024 big tent coalition that was independents, crossover Democrats, working class people, minorities, and get this, actually socialists.
00:38:55.660Trump got a lot of socialist votes, believe it or not, because 50 percent of under 40 Trump voters said that they would actually vote for a socialist.
00:39:04.780And we asked this before. And three quarters of the under 40 Trump voters said that they would support nationalizing major industries.
00:39:13.040Almost 60 percent of them support excess wealth confiscation. And now we have a new poll out out of the honest poll.
00:39:19.420and i mean it looks like again this is a repudiation of traditional conservative economics
00:39:26.120hang on hang on hang on hang on i want to go to this and get up this is the september 2026
00:39:32.980national tracking poll on populism exactly there's some okay let's get let's get okay but walk us
00:39:40.220through it uh walk us through the takeaways from this and i'll put it up and we're going to send
00:39:45.140it out to everybody i'll probably have you want to come back and go through individual pages
00:39:49.100When you say tracking poll on populism, explain to people what you did here and what you derive from it.
00:39:55.940Well, we're doing public sentiment work.
00:39:57.920We're trying to figure out what Americans think.
00:40:00.000We're not just a horse race polling firm.
00:40:02.260I mean, that's the way you prove everybody you're accurate.
00:40:04.480But the whole point is to actually study and report on what Americans think so they can be better served.
00:40:10.780That's the thing that nobody believes in anymore.
00:40:12.700And this is like Republicans want to ignore this stuff so they can still run on open borders and free trade and all this other stuff that has failed Americans, in my opinion.
00:40:22.960But, for instance, we ask voters if you could pick between cutting Social Security and Medicare or cutting defense spending or raising taxes on people that earn more than a million dollars.
00:40:35.240Americans say, yeah, raise taxes, 54 percent, only 34 percent say cut those other programs.
00:40:41.300But 51% are Republicans. So a majority of Republicans say, yep, eat the rich. They agree with Bernie Sanders, tax the wealthy. And anybody who recommends that on social media is going to be called by a bunch of like MAGA shills. And I'm sorry, they are now like I was OG MAGA. I could say this. You're going to be called a socialist if you recommend anything economically progressive.
00:41:03.300progressive. Another one, this one's going to have Art Laffer spinning over in his grave,
00:41:08.560which is closer to your view, cutting corporate taxes further is the best way to grow the economy
00:41:13.200or corporations already get too many tax breaks. And Americans say corporations get too many tax
00:41:18.520breaks, 63 to 25 among Republicans, it's 50 to 34. So only one third of Republicans say, yeah,
00:41:28.380like corporations or, you know, cut the taxes. It's going to trickle down on us. So this whole
00:41:33.080idea of like, you know, we had major corporate tax cuts. That was a big part of the first Trump
00:41:38.640administration. That stuff's not going to fly anymore because we are an entirely different
00:41:43.140economic situation where out of desperation, Americans are really upset with big corporations,
00:41:48.760which blows my mind again, because Americans supported mass deportations and yet they saw
00:41:54.220how ICE behaved. And they said, you know, maybe not like that. And I try, you know, I put a op-ed
00:41:59.380about it. What Americans want is they want these corporations that game the system smashed in the
00:42:04.220face. They wanted brutal antitrust action. And that was like the first person fired out of the
00:42:08.960administration who was trying to do a good job for Americans. Do you support or oppose stronger
00:42:14.960government action to break up large corporations that dominate industries like tech, ag, health
00:42:21.580care and banking. So I didn't even use the evil monopoly word. I just said big corporations
00:42:26.300and Americans approve of that 62% to only 21%. So it's three to one. And among Republicans,
00:42:35.860what's that? 61% of Republicans support this, only 24% opposed. So you have Republicans,
00:42:43.680Trump's base now. And again, these are the people who all of their, you know, all the people they
00:42:48.340watch on Fox News all the people on the business news that want the GDP line to continue to go up
00:42:54.440line go up economics your supporters don't think this they look at Amazon and say you know what
00:43:00.520like maybe that's not great for America they look at Google and say you know what maybe they have
00:43:05.200too much control and maybe this isn't the way capitalism is supposed to work and yet we're
00:43:10.140told again any threat to the traditional conservative economic orthodoxy is socialism
00:43:15.820And Republicans will not win like that.
00:43:19.720Rich Barris just wrote a whole book about it.
00:43:21.920Have to burn down these tired values that are no longer going to work for conservative American governments.
00:48:24.000It's going to be like two or three a week, maybe four or five.
00:48:27.580And if they want to support me financially, we have a paywall at the site, thehonestpoll.com.
00:48:33.360And, you know, you get access to all the cross tabs.
00:48:36.420And there's all the sponsored polls are available for everybody.
00:48:38.840We just did one, as you know, with Mark Lucas from Veteran Action.
00:48:41.740A lot of really good political stuff in there that has our latest Democrat and Republican primary matchups and it has our latest generic ballot and Trump approval.
00:48:50.300So people can go check that out. A lot of interesting things like, for instance, Americans are screaming for this Iran situation to be over already.
00:48:57.560And if people want to know how Republicans can win, it's like number one at the top of the list.
00:49:02.240Just get ourselves out of the situation because it has been problematic as all of us were warning about a year ago.
00:49:08.860So, again, I want to see Trump succeed, not because I'm a MAGA guy, not because I'm a registered Republican, not because I'm part of some team or I'm shilling for an organization.
00:49:20.660It's because Trump's platform was objectively even more popular than he was among all of the electorate.
00:49:27.980Right. We had mass deportations was like a 65 percent position. Drain the Swamp was almost 70.
00:49:33.940Doge was well into the 70s auditing organized, you know, the federal government for waste, fraud and abuse, you know, arresting all these criminals and reforming the federal government.
00:49:44.200All super popular. And unfortunately, like the messaging hasn't sort of stayed single threaded on this.
00:49:50.640You know, we came in with a Trump second administration that looked like it was going to cross the Rubicon and people were begging for it.
00:49:56.800And now here, like a year and a half later, we're navel gazing, like wondering why it all went wrong.
00:50:02.760And like, I hate to say it, this is not like the first administration.
00:50:06.920The generic ballot is very closely tracking Trump approval.
00:50:13.000And so, again, he still has his core of support.
00:50:16.120He's still got his roughly 50 percent of Republicans that still strongly approve of him.
00:50:20.220But the problem has always been convincing these crossover Democrats and independents who leaned Republican, basically a lot of them for the first time in 2024, to convert to a Republican vote.
00:50:31.080And that sale has not happened. So people will look at the Democrats and you can call them socialists.
00:50:36.340But at the end of the day, the Democrats will probably, you know, throw gimmies at people.
00:50:40.440They will they will open the Treasury and some people will get stuff right like those bills will go through.
00:50:45.160and on the right it's like no shut up and eat your 20 burrito and you should want to pay a five dollar
00:50:51.200you know gallon for your gas tank in order to defeat communism and those are just not like
00:50:56.980those aren't winning messages people have to look at the republican party and trumpism
00:51:00.700as a coordinated movement that actually a acknowledges the problems with the economy
00:51:06.660and then b plausibly explains how if they stay in power that they will fix them those things at some
00:51:13.840time in the future like it's it was my assertion that people didn't want to be told we were already
00:51:19.240at the golden age they wanted to see a golden path to the golden age yeah so they could continue
00:51:24.420to enjoy voting for republicans and i said that to trump almost a year ago and uh you know that
