00:00:00.000Took two years, but Donald Trump may have finally figured out how to combine his two biggest
00:00:04.580interests, vanity projects and icing out the press. The New York Times reports that the
00:00:09.200president is talking about evicting the press from the White House and returning the briefing
00:00:13.360room to its original purpose, an indoor swimming pool. Three people familiar with the matter tell
00:00:19.620the Times Trump repeatedly pitched the idea to former press secretary Caroline Levitt,
00:00:24.260arguing that removing reporters from the historic James S. Brady press briefing would be her,
00:00:29.180quote, last legacy. Despite several requests, Levitt never followed through. She left the post
00:00:34.980in August. But the idea is nonetheless still weighing on Trump's mind. As recently as late
00:00:40.280September, he posted this AI-generated image on Truth Social, appearing to show the briefing room
00:00:45.080transformed into a swimming pool, all while growing increasingly hostile toward the press
00:00:50.120that covers him every day. Here he is in the Oval Office just yesterday.
00:00:54.820wait wait do you believe wait i'll listen to you hey i'm not playing you better you better i don't
00:01:06.240know who the hell you are but you better be careful go ahead you own a lot of golf0.99
00:01:09.560wait wait quiet quiet what's wrong with you are you a sick person not that i know sir1.00
00:01:16.560mr president i actually think there's something wrong with you good who was this man that was1.00
00:01:23.700your husband? When did they start saying that he was your brother? Why? It started with the
00:01:29.840Somali blog. I don't know if it still exists, but somebody put in there that he had to have
00:01:38.440been my brother or something to that effect. And right-wing conspiracy theorists in Minneapolis
00:01:45.860got a hold of it, and they just kind of went and found random people who were like,
00:01:50.240she introduced us uh you know she introduced him to us and said he was her brother um which is
00:01:57.920you know just insane i mean i don't i don't know those people that they talk about he was
00:02:04.040you were not related to him at all not that there's not like there's not some weird kernel
00:02:08.260of truth that's through some game of my knowledge well a north texas congressman says that a mckinney
00:02:13.440teenager threatened to shoot him as he campaigns for re-election we're talking about congressman
00:02:18.240Keith Self. He says that suspect, though, is now in custody. But Lacey joins us live from McKinney,
00:02:23.660where Lacey, the congressman saying that this threat will not change the way that he campaigns.
00:02:30.040Good morning, Carmen and Madison. Now, Congressman Keith Self says that he and his family are safe
00:02:34.420this morning, and he's thankful authorities were able to step in before anyone was hurt.
00:02:41.880Now, we are working with information this morning that Self says a 17-year-old from McKinney is
00:02:46.060accused of threatening to shoot him during his reelection campaign. The congressman says Capitol
00:02:50.780police notified him about the threat but did not reveal exactly how it was made. Self says the FBI
00:02:56.220had been monitoring the team for some time and self-trusted law enforcement to handle the
00:03:00.320situation. CBS Texas spoke with Self during a campaign stop in Addison where he also addressed
00:03:05.780the tense political climate surrounding this election season. It is a tumultuous time but this
00:03:12.360is why we should be in the public eye. This is why we should be in elected office so that we can
00:03:18.600make our case regardless of the circumstances, regardless of the environment. We make our case
00:03:23.720to the American people. Has this ever happened to you before? Some kind of threat on your life?
00:03:28.640There have been other threats, but not to this degree and not any that were action was taken
00:03:34.200by law enforcement. No. CBS Texas has reached out to the FBI and Capitol Police for more
00:03:42.240information. At this hour, we have not heard back. Now, Congressman Self also tells us that at this
00:03:47.520moment, he does not plan on changing his campaign schedule or his message. Do you have any capacity
00:03:54.240for optimism that we can snap back to anything resembling oversight of U.S. national security?
00:04:02.560It feels like it's just rumbling down the tracks. I mean, we caught this video of Whitcoff calling
00:04:08.600Putin a humanitarian with the cameras on, which made me wonder what Witkow says to Putin when
00:04:13.480there are no cameras in the room. Well, I'm certainly hopeful that the upcoming election
00:04:17.760is going to shift the reins of power in the Congress in both houses so that the gavel of
00:04:24.060these committees is going to be held in different hands. But also, I just think that Donald Trump
00:04:31.560after this election is going to become even increasingly more lame in terms of as a president.
00:04:37.220And I am hopeful that there is going to be something that is going to develop in the near term in the coming months.
00:04:45.960I'd like to think that maybe what Steve Wyckoff said is going to shake some of these Republicans in Congress to their senses that, you know, we are just going down and down and down.
00:04:56.720What is it going to take? How far are we going to fall before the Republicans actually say enough is enough?
00:05:02.380Donald Trump is just ruining this country and again, ruining the world.
00:05:05.920And how long can it go on? And so am I hopeful? I've been hopeful for a while.
00:05:10.700Unfortunately, a lot of the Republicans just most Republicans just continue to let me down.
00:05:15.980Yeah, I was thinking of John McCain today, who as a candidate in 08, started every day on the phone with Saakashvili and was known to start rallies.
00:05:28.420Today, we're all Georgians and he did not mean the battleground state.
00:05:31.240And just to think that that was the party standard bearer, you know, a couple of short years ago, I guess they're long years now.
00:05:41.960Well, Sarah, Democrats are excited about the potential of flipping the U.S. Senate this year, but it is far from a sure bet.
00:05:49.260Democrats will need to win at least four Republican held seats while holding onto their own.
00:05:54.320But that also requires them to go deep into red territory to do so.
00:05:59.560Now, if you take a look at our latest list of the Senate seats most likely to flip, one through five are all Republican held seats.
00:06:07.700Democrat Roy Cooper is in the strongest position to flip a seat in North Carolina.
00:06:12.060And then there are Democrats who have good chances in other races as well.
00:06:16.460But those states that are kind of in the middle right there, four through six, Maine, Texas and Michigan, those will be closely watched over the course of the next 12 days.0.83
00:06:24.980In Maine, Senator Susan Collins, the Republican, is really in one of her toughest reelection battles yet.0.97
00:06:31.180But she has defied the partisan lean of her state in the past.
00:06:35.080And then if you take a look at Texas, this is a state that has garnered a lot of attention and it has Democratic hopes really riding high.
00:06:43.720But the most recent CNN poll of polls average of this state shows that there's no clear leader in this race.
00:06:50.540Yes, a Democrat James Tallarico is keeping this very competitive in a state that President Trump won by double digits back in 2024.
00:06:58.320But he still has to contend with the Republican lean of this state.
00:07:03.060Then if you take a look at Texas or at Michigan at number six, that is a state that is a must hold for Democrats.
00:07:10.340If they were to lose Michigan, they would need to pick up at least five Republican held seats in this race.
00:07:17.600the latest CNN poll of poll average shows that there is no clear leader in this contest between
00:07:24.000Democrat Abdul El-Sayed and the Republican former Congressman Mike Rogers. This has really
00:07:30.280unfolded as one of the most contentious campaigns this cycle. And both candidates are facing major
00:07:36.640challenges there in Michigan. El-Sayed is having to win over black voters and Jewish Democrats who
00:07:43.540might be uneasy with his campaign, while Rogers is contending with the unpopularity of President
00:07:49.380Donald Trump. And then if you go back to the list and take a look at Kansas and New Hampshire,
00:07:54.880those two states have flipped their positions on this list since our last ranking. Kansas
00:07:59.840is growing more competitive as Midwestern states as a whole have grown more competitive in recent
00:08:05.680weeks. That is a state few envisioned would have been on the map at the very start of this cycle,
00:08:11.120but you have both Republicans and Democrats spending there big in these final weeks.
00:08:16.220And then in addition to this list, we have a few states that are on the bubble.
00:08:20.340That includes Nebraska, Mississippi, also Minnesota and South Carolina.
00:08:26.840Three of those are held by Republicans, one by Democrat.
00:08:30.940Those are races that we will also be watching in these final weeks.
00:08:33.960But certainly right now, if you take a look at this map,
00:08:37.340There's a lot of mood and environment that appears to be on Democrats' side, but they still have to win in these very red states.
00:08:45.100And so this battle will continue over the next 12 days as Democrats fight their way to the Senate majority, hoping to be victorious, but it's far from a sure bet right now.
00:10:18.660I think it's going to be an uphill battle.
00:10:21.140I think many of the Republican seats are going to be close, but I think they're going to be winnable.
00:10:26.740I think the Senate race with Paxson and Tallarico, that's really going to be a coin flip.
00:10:31.500I think that one's going to be hard to know how that's going to pan out.
00:10:35.480And I think the race for Abbott, I think I think he will be victorious, but I think it'll kind of close.
00:10:41.840Why is it because the is because of certain policies the administration have taken?
00:10:47.340Is it because the DSA and the Working Family Party is so well organized?
00:10:51.460Remember, they picked up that state Senate seat that President Trump had won by, I think, 14 points.
00:10:56.520They won by 17. Now was a in the middle of winter.
00:10:59.460But but why are these races? Why do you believe these races are tight?
00:11:05.600I think overall it has to do with with low energy among the Republican voting base.
00:11:10.780I think that there are a few things that have gone well, but I think there's some unfulfilled promises.
00:11:15.500I think people are feeling the economic squeeze. I think people are weary of, you know, ongoing conflicts abroad and that kind of thing.
00:11:23.320And people just want to see, you know, the focus brought back here to the state of Texas and for our interests and our needs to be to be put first.
00:11:31.380So I think that that's probably the most likely case for what's happening.
00:11:36.300Let's go and play. We got a clip about this convention.
00:11:39.400And like I said, it was incredible. The energy in in in your ballroom space over at the hotel was incredible.
00:11:47.960Let's go and play the clip. We'll bring you back.
00:11:49.440In all the years I have been speaking, all of them, to every group, we've never had, ever, where I am the least controversial speaker.
00:12:01.660Demand mass deportations. Let's send them all back.0.82
00:12:41.000What do you guys stand for, and why do people keep saying how bold you folks are?
00:12:45.480yeah there's there's quite a bit that i could say about that but i'll name a few things one
00:12:52.160we stand for jesus christ we're unapologetic christians we believe that that should influence
00:12:56.540the way in which we govern and interact with politics we love our country we love our children
00:13:02.700and our families and our brothers and sisters we want to put them first above the world we believe
00:13:08.120that the united states of america and texas in particular for us it's our homeland it's not just
00:13:13.700an economic zone. So we believe in Christian values. We believe in putting American workers
00:13:19.040first and protecting American heritage and culture. I think those are things that we have never
00:13:24.440shied away from. And they're things that distinguish us from our opposition, be they
00:13:29.640Republicans or Democrats, obviously. But those are the things that really distinguish us. And I think
00:13:35.300our confidence and our courageousness to uphold those things and host people like yourself and
00:13:40.280Bo and Jace and Mays and all of these candidates. That is what we are about. And we're sticking
00:13:46.020behind it. Isaac, where do people go right now to find out more information, your social media and
00:13:51.240where they go to find out more? Because I think this not only is going to be big in Texas, which
00:13:55.300you guys already are, but could be you could franchise this around the nation. Where do folks
00:13:59.340go right now? Absolutely. So one thing I interact with so many people at GOP meetings and other
00:14:06.080political events, and they always say, where are the young people? We got to get them involved.
00:14:10.280we're here this is it we're here we want to win so please go to yrtgive.com that is where you can
00:14:18.200go and help us with small dollar donations we want to expand what we're doing if you like the
00:14:22.360candidates that we like help us to build clubs of young people and that right there that you're
00:14:27.480looking at is the yrtx.gop website you can go to our donation link there and the yrtgive.com link
00:14:35.240will take you there as well but yeah please join us in this fight we're we're bringing out the
00:14:39.320the young people that we've so long waited to get involved into politics, but we're here.
00:14:45.240Isaac, fantastic. The energy was incredible. The speakers were incredible. The focus was incredible
00:14:50.460on the toughest issues facing the Lone Star State and the United States of America. Short break,
00:14:56.580DeGrasse on the other side. One of my favorite days of the year, Veterans Day, is coming up,
00:15:02.260and Birch Gold Group is commemorating it with something I think you'll really appreciate.
00:15:07.320From now until 30 October, for every $10,000 you purchase from Birch Gold, you get a free patriotic silver round.
00:15:17.580And there's no limit on how many you can earn.
00:15:20.680What's more, Birch Gold can help you convert your existing retirement savings into a gold IRA without spending a dime in taxes or penalties.
00:15:29.440For current and former military, they will waive fees for the entire first year on purchases of any amount.
00:15:37.320Birch Gold has earned an A-plus rating with the Better Business Bureau and served tens of thousands of customers, a lot of them viewers and members of the War Room posse.
00:15:49.880I trust them, and I think you'll see why.
00:15:52.680Text my name, Bannon, B-A-N-N-O-N, to 989898 for a free information kit and to claim eligibility for your free silver on a qualifying purchase before 30 October.
00:16:06.060That's Bannon, B-A-N-N-O-N, to 989898.
00:18:03.660In fact, I would argue that all this concept
00:18:06.720and talk about a blue tsunami and a blue wave
00:18:09.420that might have looked mathematically as a dead certain late August and over maybe Labor Day
00:18:17.360weekend has crashed on the shores of reality. Now, it doesn't mean that we're not fighting
00:18:22.300for our life to hold the house, but we do have actions we can take to make sure that we still
00:18:29.700win a handful of these seats and have a path to 218. It's a torturous path, but people got to
00:18:37.520Remember, it's important in a secondary role that if they were to take the House by a couple of seats, given the DSA wing that they're going to have, they're going to have it's going to be impossible or very, very difficult for them to have any kind of governance in the House.
00:18:53.860So all these seats are in play. There's a couple we know that I think you can chalk up that are gone, you know, maybe the Keene in New Jersey and some others.
00:19:01.700But it's not like it's not like we're in like certain things in the in the in the Senate races where North Carolina looks beyond reach.
00:19:10.380Georgia looks beyond reach. I think Ohio is getting into very uncertain territory because of the governor's race there.
00:19:16.680But deGrasse on the House. Let's walk through because I'm particularly concerned about places like Iowa, places like Pennsylvania.
00:19:22.520We got Cliff Maloney coming on later. Some of these states that looks like they could be in trouble.
00:19:28.560So I'll leave it to you to walk us through where you think we stand right now.0.93
00:19:32.700Yeah, I mean, Steve, like I've said, there's just a series of very tight races.
00:19:38.060You know, people, Democrats are voting in mass, definitely high propensity Democrats.
00:19:42.420So Democrats that are typically vote no matter what, but I'd rather have people voting than not voting.
00:19:47.240So in that regard, of course, so they're getting a lot of people out to vote.
00:19:51.140And, you know, we've got limited time every day that goes by.
00:19:54.400But hang on for a second. Hang on. Hang on. Hang on.
00:19:57.000When you look at this, are they, because that's the question here, are they cannibalizing this early vote where they're setting records like in Texas the first couple of days?
00:20:51.800And it takes Republicans each day to move the numbers. Certainly in Indiana, we've moved the spread about 12 percentage points, you know, over over two, three weeks of, you know, sort of people waking up, people getting engaged, people kind of seeing, hey, there's an election, you know, the bi families out there putting $10 million, you know, dumping all over this thing, trying to get a path back for Democrats to eventually retake the state of Indiana.0.84
00:21:13.740And so we need that type of momentum all across the country where, you know, people are getting engaged, they're waking up.0.60
00:21:20.540And really nothing motivates Republican voters than being direct with them and saying, yo, Democrats are flooding the polls.
00:21:28.040And so I think people should just be honest with that effect.
00:21:30.940Campaigns should be communicating the fact that there are quite a lot of Democrats voting.
00:21:35.460That's OK, though, that there's days and weeks in some regards to continue to cut that margin and obviously down to game day.
00:21:42.500But every vote that we bank right now, Steve, is a vote that we don't need later and a vote and a more targeted operation that can get the additional votes that we need out.
00:21:50.620So everyone needs a list of 10. You've got to kind of dig deep. Nothing is determined on how this is all going.
00:21:56.360Races continue to be within the margins across the board.
00:21:59.680Certainly the map is definitely, I would say, a little more expanded than it was.
00:22:04.060Their Democrats are digging very, very deep.
00:22:06.640You know, they are down in a bunch of races, but they're very tight in a bunch of races where, you know, would be maybe considered a little safer.
00:22:35.940Remember, we had an opportunity, just like they have an opportunity, to actually run the tables and get 30, 35, maybe 40 seats, maybe even more as you expand the map.
00:22:45.780But you have to back that up with resources.
00:22:47.720At the time, we did back up with resources.
00:22:49.800However, the Dobbs decision of what happened on the abortion activated these young women, remember?
00:22:56.420And we fought, you know, we took the House and then removed the Speaker in a historic move.0.73
00:23:01.320But we didn't get the wins that we wanted.
00:23:03.080But are you seeing as they expand the map, are they actually coming up with resources to put in back of this map expansion?
00:23:11.800Or is this just the media saying, hey, they're expanding the map and they're putting more focus on it, sir?
00:23:16.920I mean, honestly, they're starting to get the resources, Steve.
00:23:19.200I'm just going to be direct with that.
00:23:20.520I mean, they've got, you know, Bloomberg just put in, you know, what is it, $20 million.
00:23:24.700I mean, some of their, you know, Soros, Reid Hoffman just dumped in Ted.
00:23:27.460I mean, you know, again, we called this, Steve.
00:23:30.140I mean, that was a media messaging play to get these guys off the sideline and start cutting checks.
00:23:34.320And so the stakes are incredibly high because money is dumping in on the side of second tier seats.
00:23:39.380But like what happened in 22, if we can hold them like they sort of held us on the second wave, but we obviously advanced enough to take some seats, as you discussed, you know, we can break them, of course, if we can get out to vote.
00:23:50.920And so I will say two weeks ago, no, now they are starting to put money on the board and they're starting to dig deep.
00:23:57.520I guess the Hakeem Jeffries Super PAC put out a memo, 17 seats, where they're either down, I think, three, four points, two points in some of these, quote unquote, more reach seats.
00:24:08.860And they're asking, hey, have we had, I forget the number that they asked for, we can kind of hammer this.
00:24:13.260I mean, most of it is a messaging play to donors, but of course, it's having an effect.
00:24:17.440I mean, these big billionaires are starting to dump in cash, and you're seeing some of these quote-unquote pop-up packs that are kind of popping up here and there and dumping money with vicious false negative ads.
00:24:30.300It's been very interesting to see, especially in upstate New York, you know, Elise's seat, I think they've dumped in $3 million, you know, in like a week, you know, laid down through the election.
00:24:39.140All dark money, a lot of CCP, which we got the New York Post or Daily Call or someone covered, you know, deep dive into who these people are and what's happening.
00:24:48.760So a lot of that going on. So people just have to be engaged, control what you can control, which is Republicans voting, getting out early.
00:24:55.700You really need the handwritten list, not not a phone list, not a digital list, handwritten check in and frankly, get more people to get lists.
00:25:02.820And it doesn't matter where your friends and family are. They're probably in an area where their vote counts.
00:25:08.480I mean, every vote counts. So that is what's needed, I think, to get this done. And we need
00:25:13.260the grassroots gauge, you know, knock your neighbors, knock people you know, make sure
00:25:17.520you can claim, hey, look, you know, we had Democrat control. This is what I think really
00:25:21.220works. We've had Democrat control. They destroyed the economy, runaway inflation. Of course,
00:25:25.720you know, things are tough right now, but we've taken steps and will continue to take steps
00:25:29.700to, I think, fix it. Their side is just going to blow the whole thing out and will, I think,
00:25:34.580destroy the economy will see a collapse, in my opinion. So I think, and I think people understand
00:25:39.100that and they want to hear that. So I think that's the choice ahead of us, not just the,
00:25:42.680you know, the socialism and radical Islam, which really works well to get people out. And I think0.99
00:25:47.480you're seeing that in Michigan and elsewhere. And, you know, it's helping our side, I think,
00:25:51.620get out because Michigan looks great. As you, as you talk to other operatives across the board,
00:25:58.900is the core Trump base turning, let's forget low propensity, is the core Trump base
00:26:03.600turning out? Or is there an issue there that X amount of those people are going to stay home or
00:26:09.000tougher to get to the polls than some of the negative? And we've had some of the biggest
00:26:12.860names in MAGA say, hey, you know, I don't care if we lose the House. I don't care if Trump gets
00:26:20.540turfed out. Is that an issue as you see it right now? You know, I think it depends on how you
00:26:26.880define the Trump base. I think the Trump base includes low propensity of Republicans, right?
00:26:31.440And that's part of what's propelled him to victory.
00:26:34.280You know, I certainly think that, you know, there has been an enthusiasm gap in all the
00:26:39.500polls, but I think that has largely closed as the spending and as voters engage and look
00:28:18.040So many brands today claim to stand for American values,
00:28:21.720But most of the time, it's all talk and no action.
00:28:25.800That's what makes Patriot Mobile different.

00:30:17.020at northcountrystrategies.com i got a lot of posse members hitting me up asking how to get
00:30:21.540involved. We try to give back to everyone. So appreciate it, Steve. Just get the list,
00:30:25.520get the vote out, ignore the noise, and let's get this done. Let's focus on the signal. Thank
00:30:30.340you, sir. We're going to go live to an FBI conference about some criminal activity. Let's
00:30:35.720cut to this. Seven arrested or surrendered for allegedly participating in a large scale
00:30:42.900RICO drug trafficking and money laundering conspiracy. One of those individuals is the
00:30:49.400President pro tempore of the Virginia State Senate, Lily Louise Lucas of Portsmouth, Virginia.
00:30:58.180A federal grand jury in the Eastern District of Virginia returned an indictment against all seven
00:31:03.240individuals on October 14th of this year. The defendants are currently in federal custody,
00:31:08.960and my understanding is there's an initial appearance later this afternoon in federal court.
00:31:14.520The remaining six defendants listed in the indictment include Senator Lucas' daughters, Lisa Lucas-Burke and Teresa Lucas-Lamb,
00:31:24.440Ms. Lucas' grandson, Ryan Eichelberger, Prince Albert William Hudson III, Carlton Upton Jr., and Tamika Johnson.
00:31:36.420Senator Lucas has been charged and indicted with five counts.
00:31:40.640racketeering conspiracy, conspiracy to distribute and possess with intent to distribute marijuana,
00:31:47.520conspiracy to launder money, conspiracy to commit honest services fraud, and maintaining a drug
00:31:53.280involved premises. The other counts listed in the indictment that she's not charged in include
00:31:59.080possession of a firearm in furtherance of a drug trafficking crime and wire fraud.
00:32:04.280All seven defendants are charged for their various roles they allegedly played in the Lucas
00:32:09.260Enterprise. The indictment alleges that Senator Lucas approved and directed criminal activities
00:32:15.060and other activities to benefit the affairs of the Lucas Enterprise, that she arranged for the
00:32:22.420acquisition and distribution of marijuana, that she supervised the laundering of marijuana proceeds,0.99
00:32:28.440and that she used her political influence to demand and accept a bribe and attempted0.98
00:32:32.960to influence Virginia legislation for the benefit of herself and her family.
00:32:39.260As some folks know, since 1992, Senator Lucas has held a position of trust in the Virginia State
00:32:46.420Senate. Since 2020, she has served as a president pro tempore, or she has served as a presiding
00:32:53.380member of the state Senate in the absence of the lieutenant governor. At the same time,
00:32:58.820Senator Lucas has been the owner of Lucas Lodge LLC, Lucas Hospitality LLC, and the Cannabis
00:33:06.160outlet, all three located in Portsmouth, Virginia. The Department of Justice intends to prove that
00:33:14.380Senator Lucas violated the trust of the people of Portsmouth and Chesapeake, Virginia, and of her
00:33:20.720state Senate colleagues. Through her elected office, Senator Lucas has been a public servant
00:33:27.060of the people of Virginia. Her first duty should have been looking out for her constituents before0.98
00:33:34.340herself. But the charges listed in the indictment reflect the alleged behavior of a public servant
00:33:42.260who put her own financial interests before the people she was elected to serve. Whether you are
00:33:48.780a Democrat or a Republican, an elected official, or an everyday citizen, nobody is above the law.
00:33:57.100If you commit crimes in violation of federal law, the Department of Justice will prosecute you.
00:34:02.280We're here today because of facts and evidence, which led to this investigation to begin many
00:34:08.760years ago, and facts and evidence that led to the grand jury to indict Senator Lucas and her
00:34:14.180alleged co-conspirators. And the facts and evidence will continue to guide our federal
00:34:19.760prosecutors in this case. I want to take a moment to thank the Federal Bureau of Investigation,
00:34:25.380the FBI, and the U.S. Attorney's Office here in the Eastern District of Virginia for the work
00:34:30.940they have done throughout this investigation and in bringing the charges here today. And with that,
00:34:37.320I will hand it over to Director Patel. Thank you. Thank you, General. As alleged by the Attorney
00:34:48.860General, Ms. Lucas, for the last nearly five years, accumulated nearly $5 million in ill-gotten0.98
00:34:55.400gains through her criminal enterprise. Ms. Lucas served in a position of trust for nearly four1.00
00:35:00.480decades and served as the president pro tempore of the Senate for the Virginia State Senate
00:35:04.560for these last five, six years. During that time, as alleged in the indictment,
00:35:09.340her and her six co-conspirators, instead of serving the public, as was her job,
00:35:14.760manufactured and created a criminal enterprise to illicitly enrich themselves by procuring
00:35:21.360sales and stores and divisions through the marijuana and CBD enterprise.0.59
00:35:26.480The purpose of her enterprise included trafficking large quantities of illegal marijuana, creating generational wealth for members and associates of her criminal enterprise, recycling drug proceeds to expand the operation that she launched and created, and steering marijuana licenses to entities in which members held financial interest.
00:35:54.180During her time as Virginia State Senator, instead of enforcing the law, she was actually breaking the law as alleged in the indictment0.89
00:36:00.460and then using her position of power and public trust to deflect and defend against her own criminal enterprise.0.86
00:36:06.980Truly the epitome of hypocrisy for a public official.
00:36:10.760Ms. Lucas on January 24, 2022 posted on social media,
00:36:15.300I'm a 78-year-old grandma who legalized pot and now has her own cannabis store.
00:36:19.820And I'm the last thing standing between the GOP and total control of Virginia.
00:37:43.660I'm the first assistant United States attorney for the Eastern District of Virginia.
00:37:47.340I want to thank Attorney General Blanche and Director Patel for their years-long support
00:37:53.200in supporting this prosecution and this investigation that culminates in today's charges being announced.
00:38:00.480The allegations in the indictment detail a criminal enterprise operating in plain sight.
00:38:05.500These charges, as alleged, reveal not just an abuse of public trust, but a reliance on the deference granted to...
00:38:12.900OK, Denver. Thank you. Thank you. Appreciate you. OK. Huge news in in Virginia because she's a political powerhouse, the president pro tem of the temporary of the Senate, a political powerhouse in Virginia, a completely corrupt Democratic Party.
00:38:29.380And finally, somebody's cash and those guys are on top of this.
00:38:34.760Certainly wish this was a press conference about John Brennan, right?
00:38:38.280The deep state. But you got to start and you got to start somewhere.
00:38:42.960And they're rolling up some of the crooked politicians in the Democratic Party.
00:38:45.980Boy, they get feast on that for a long time.
00:38:49.400We'll come back. If there's questions, we'll get back to those questions that the media is going to ask Todd here momentarily.
00:38:55.920Let's go to Michigan. Ron Armstrong, Ron, thank you for joining us. We just had to grass.
00:39:03.000This is a dogfight to hold. The House is a very big uphill climb, but it's still within reach.
00:39:09.560If we turn out the vote, the question is, are we going to turn out the vote against a highly motivated Democratic Party?
00:39:14.980Now, the one place I think in the country that's kind of shocking people that maybe they're not so motivated is the state of Michigan.
00:39:21.580Walk us through what reality is there, sir.
00:39:25.920Well, I know I've given you numbers and I want to give them to you again right up through yesterday, but I want to tell you, I want to base them around an article that was written and I got yesterday from John Truscott, who's a public relations expert in Michigan for over 35 years.
00:39:40.960He was press secretary for Governor John Engler. He's been involved in these areas for a long time. And the title of this is The Polls Are Wrong Again. Here's Why Mike Rogers Will Win.
00:44:15.440That's freedomforhealth.org slash Bannon, and discover why tens of thousands of patriots are joining America's HealthShare.
00:44:24.820America's HealthShare reduces your health care costs by an average of 60%, and it's accepted everywhere.
00:44:32.040In other words, say goodbye to out-of-network limitations.
00:44:35.700They make health care affordable, transparent, and aligned with your values, free from surprise bills or skyrocketing premiums.
00:44:43.580For as low as $68 a month, an individual can get great health care coverage, minus the complications and price gouging from health care providers.
00:44:53.260You can completely scrap your current insurance or use America's HealthSphere to supplement your existing policy, even with Medicare.
00:45:38.880Ron, Jeremy Peters, we played Jeremy Peters on Morning Joe talking about the situation.
00:45:44.260New York Times reporter, quite progressive, but he went throughout the state and said, hey, look, I think there's been a lot of false reporting on on Abdul.
00:45:52.780He says, you know, this guy was way behind. You know, he lost the in the primary deeply in Detroit.
00:46:00.540And all he's doing is with AOC is going around to these college towns in upper Michigan where he already knows he's going to get this progressive student vote.
00:46:08.380now. He says, how much of it is out there? I don't know. Has Abdul done anything to try to
00:46:13.840correct the situation in Detroit and reach out to the black community from what you've seen?
00:46:19.320No, what I keep hearing on the ground is that he's got this arrogance about him that seems to
00:46:26.360carry wherever he goes. In other words, he tried to play the victim last night, but through the
00:46:30.440victim comes his arrogance. I think it comes from his, what his true beliefs are and his true
00:46:37.060disdain for America and for, you know, we've heard him say things like, I hate Mackinac Island. I
00:46:43.100hate these people, whatever. Look, he has no use for women. He has no use for the black community.1.00
00:46:49.340He isn't there for anyone but himself. And honestly, it's for the furtherance, I think,1.00
00:46:53.680of the Islamic State. I think that's true. That's my feeling. It's my gut, I can tell you.1.00
00:46:58.520And that means that he can't answer questions, which means if he wants to go out into the general0.81
00:47:03.180public, if he wants to reach out into the black community, especially the faith-based black
00:47:07.380community in the city of Detroit, he's going to have to answer some tough questions, but he simply
00:47:11.620can't because he refuses to, Steve. So I think that you're going to see more and more of the
00:47:16.060people who come there. You're going to see more and more staged events that are going to happen
00:47:20.060either in the high union. Remember, it isn't the rank and file union members that back him so much
00:47:25.360as it is the socialist leaders of the union movement, just like it is teachers union and so
00:47:30.460on. That's what you're going to see for the final 13 days. And I don't believe, I think there's a
00:47:34.860cap or a ceiling on what they're going to get. I would not be surprised and don't anybody be
00:47:39.500surprised. Our first day of in-person voting is this Saturday. I truly believe that the left will
00:47:45.220have a huge turnout on college campuses this weekend. And those numbers are going to show
00:47:50.220a big jump that are going to give some, I think, complete fake support because those are people
00:47:54.800going to support him anyway, Steve. So just don't be surprised if we see that after the weekend.
00:47:59.920I'm really hoping that's not the case, but I can tell you in the regular mail-in voting,
00:48:05.220And even though they've mailed 2 million ballots out to people, what's coming back
00:48:08.320is a much lower percentage than they anticipated.
00:48:11.320Remember, in 22, abortion was on the ballot.
00:48:14.060Those same people were voting in big numbers.0.92
00:48:17.440And I think that the strength from Syed is at a peak, at a cap, and I don't think he
00:48:22.660has anything to add in these last 12 days.
00:48:24.940And I think the message is beginning to resonate to the average person about common sense, about America, about Michigan first, about jobs and education and things like that.0.53
00:48:35.600And I think that all those late deciders that we usually had, if we had a Haley Stevens, if we had somebody there, I'd be worried about those late deciders because they're always that way.0.98
00:48:45.860I don't believe the late deciders are going to move to Abdul Syed.
00:48:50.400I don't believe he's going to gain any more vote in this last 13 days.
00:48:53.980I think the question is whether we turn out or we don't.
