00:00:00.000 This is the primal scream of a dying regime.
00:00:05.000 Pray for our enemies,
00:00:07.000 because we're going medieval on these people.
00:00:10.000 I got a free shot at all these networks lying about the people.
00:00:15.000 The people have had a belly full of it.
00:00:17.000 I know you don't like hearing that.
00:00:18.000 I know you try to do everything in the world to stop that,
00:00:20.000 but you're not going to stop it.
00:00:21.000 It's going to happen.
00:00:22.000 And where do people like that go to share the big lie?
00:00:25.000 MAGA Media.
00:00:27.000 i wish in my soul i wish that any of these people had a conscience ask yourself what is my task and
00:00:34.680 what is my purpose if that answer is to save my country this country will be saved war room
00:00:43.400 here's your host stephen k bannon
00:00:45.800 good evening hanwell here at the helm on steve bannon's war room well you might remember a few
00:00:58.720 weeks ago we were talking with erin agashahi about the planned protests ahead of the annual
00:01:06.460 alternative for deutschland conference in erfurt joining us this evening is maximilian
00:01:13.340 Kra, former member of the European Parliament, present member of Parliament at the Bundestag.
00:01:20.200 Maximilian, very great pleasure to have you on the show with us tonight.
00:01:26.080 Firstly, let's just talk about this conference because there were, I think, 30 or so planned
00:01:31.660 roadblocks right around the Erfurt town itself planned by the Antifa.
00:01:39.920 The figures that I saw reported were around 50,000 Antifa protesters.
00:01:48.340 In terms of the AFD membership itself, there were some, I think, 60 or so thousand,
00:01:54.020 which is an improvement on the previous year's showing.
00:01:59.380 So huge numbers turning out on both sides.
00:02:04.160 Tell us what the view was like from inside the conference centre.
00:02:08.900 Did you have a siege mentality or were you intimidated by the Antifa protesters
00:02:17.800 or were you able successfully to get on with the business of the conference?
00:02:23.500 We are not under siege at all.
00:02:26.400 I mean, look, in Thuringen, where Erfurt is the capital of,
00:02:30.620 we are now polling with more than 40%. 0.56
00:02:33.120 So they had to take from whole Germany their supporters to the city
00:02:38.720 to disturb us but the problem is that lefties are not able to wake up in the morning so you
00:02:45.220 know they prefer to sleep long because they never are used to work so we already began our conference
00:02:51.040 and they still were in bed so when they came to blockade our conference we already had begun
00:02:57.740 so it's it's it's we are just early birth so we wake up earlier than they uh came to protest
00:03:05.400 in in so in in fact it was a great joke it was a big defeat for antifa and by the way i consider
00:03:11.660 this number 50 000 for uh much too high i'm i don't know what's going on here okay you you have
00:03:22.020 me yeah we can hear you perfectly oh thank you very much you know it's it's a problem with the
00:03:28.880 technique that sometimes uh things get wrong but you see so we i would say it's uh it was a big
00:03:37.480 joke a big joke um so no but no intimidation then not at all i mean they we were out in the
00:03:46.640 conference center which is in a special industrial area and and they had a big gathering in the city
00:03:52.680 center but of course they intended to make a blockade so that our delegates could not join
00:03:57.280 the conference but um they came too late i mean that's that's difficult for the lefties they come
00:04:04.780 too late yeah um well i think that they realize now that the opportunity of controlling the agenda
00:04:12.720 is slipping through their fingers tell me a bit about the conference itself um we're going to
00:04:20.840 talk a bit more about this in the second half of our interview with you, but I would like to know
00:04:28.040 there is some movement, some talk about moderating the AFD's tone and position in the idea of
00:04:39.740 widening its electoral appealability. One of the reasons we particularly wanted you on the show is
00:04:47.440 that you are widely seen both at home and abroad
00:04:51.100 as one of the most successfully present members of parliament in the AFD
00:04:58.540 and you're definitely the go-to name on the more radical side of the AFD
00:05:11.360 with regards to the moderators.
00:05:13.640 tell me what your view was in terms of the atmosphere there do you think the talking to
00:05:20.440 the members do you think that um this idea that the afd will follow a line of what i think the
00:05:27.260 press is calling maloney vacation the idea of basically just dropping what is making the party
00:05:35.900 successful in order to to command the center is this something that the afd is seriously
00:05:42.340 thinking about or is it just either of the fond hope of the mainstream media or is it put out
00:05:50.120 there to try and create a split in the afd as you are effectively preparing for for government right
00:05:56.440 now look the issue is i would say you have to decide it issue by issue first of all since
00:06:02.500 maloney has split with donald trump and with the maga movement i would say you can be sure that
00:06:08.120 we will not follow her because the point is what I want is that the AFD is Marga's first ally in
00:06:16.900 Europe. So that is something I think, because I think that Donald Trump is the biggest chance
00:06:25.140 and opportunity that all Western right-wing movements have actually. So we should align
00:06:32.640 with the Trump movement.
00:06:35.240 And now you can argue that this alone
00:06:37.720 is already a moderation
00:06:40.160 because all European right-wing parties
00:06:43.260 have inside some anti-American sentiment. 0.89
00:06:47.960 From the past, we think that the Anglo-Saxons
00:06:50.880 and the Americans especially,
00:06:53.100 I mean, you know, they are a little bit soft
00:06:56.800 and liberals and they lack the cultural deep depth.
00:07:02.640 And insofar, I'm a moderator because I say, let's be Marga's best friend.
00:07:12.080 Another issue is when it comes to the number of issues we deal about. 0.97
00:07:19.360 We have people inside us who say, there's just one issue that counts, and that is remigration.
00:07:24.820 And I don't agree with them.
00:07:26.780 I think there are so many issues we have to deal.
00:07:29.800 People vote for us because they are under existential threat by the lefties.
00:07:34.780 The left take away their pride, their dignity, their jobs, their nations, their identity.
00:07:42.000 If you look now to Gen Z, it's the first generation where the majority will not even have a family.
00:07:48.060 They will stay single. They will not have sex. 0.73
00:07:50.080 So the threat the left is doing against the ordinary people is a fundamental threat, and it affects all your life.
00:08:04.100 And the right-wing answer has also to affect and to answer all questions of your life.
00:08:09.840 And there are some people within the right-wing movement who think if we just do deportions and we stop immigration and we do remigration, everything is fine.
00:08:19.260 know it's wrong in so far i'm a moderator but you know when it comes to have an alternative
00:08:27.340 and a clear answer to the lefty threat and to the betrayal of the center and the so-called
00:08:33.920 conservatives i'm the hardest you can imagine so i would say maloney that was the issue two years
00:08:41.000 ago she has now shown that she is not understanding what's going on in the world but the right wing
00:08:47.500 has to there's one message that Dumbledore says to Harry Potter he says there's always two ways
00:08:53.520 in life Harry the right way and the easy way and the easy way is to focus on just one issue
00:09:00.060 remigration and just say that's what you have to do and I'm the advocate of the right way
00:09:04.920 okay uh can I can I just go back to something that you were saying so firstly just to synthesize
00:09:12.860 what you're saying there you absolutely think that the the re-migration program of which you
00:09:21.080 are probably one of the clearest speakers in the afd on this that has to remain at the center but
00:09:27.340 it's not the only thing that the afd stands for that that's what you're saying yeah it's one thing
00:09:34.020 i mean as an english speaker as a british man the question is you have a second or third
00:09:40.540 generation immigrants in the country that sometimes are fully aligned with us.
00:09:48.660 So we have to distinguish.
00:09:50.240 You have to say, of course, if you're a criminal, go out.
00:09:53.680 If you're one of the hundreds of thousands of social welfare takers, go out.
00:09:59.140 And we have to make clear, we have to kick them out to get our cities clean.
00:10:02.940 We have to lower crime and we have to save our welfare systems.
00:10:07.120 But on the other hand, we have to make an opportunity and we have to make an offer to
00:10:12.060 those who came and to join us.
00:10:16.040 So you have to distinguish.
00:10:19.600 Distinction is the way to success.
00:10:22.240 And you know, I mean, the same as in Great Britain in the US.
00:10:26.820 You have people who joined us, who were born with us, who were raised with us, but who
00:10:33.280 have family roots outside the UK and the US, who are now strong supporters of our movement. 0.90
00:10:39.600 So what I require from the re-migration camp is that they start to distinguish. 0.99
00:10:45.720 And they have to learn that the existential threat to our young people, to our workers, 0.99
00:10:50.900 to our middle class, is much farer and much brighter than only the immigration issue.
00:10:59.040 I mean, we have a threat that our jobs go to China because of wrong trade deals.
00:11:04.420 Trade is important.
00:11:05.980 We have the question of war and peace.
00:11:08.300 We have to talk about foreign policy.
00:11:10.460 We have to talk about culture because all politics is a downstream of culture, etc., etc.
00:11:16.020 So there's one thing.
00:11:17.300 First, right-wing approach is much brighter, much farer and much deeper than only remigration.
00:11:27.780 And when we talk about re-migration, we have exactly to define who we want to get out.
00:11:34.000 Because 45% of Germans under 20 have somehow something to do with migration. 0.90
00:11:43.040 So let's be the mother comes from Russia or the grandparents immigrated. 0.61
00:11:47.780 And if you say re-migration without any definition, you make a threat to 45% of the population. 0.88
00:11:55.000 That means you will lose the election. 0.81
00:11:56.740 so you have exactly to say
00:11:58.780 we don't want criminals
00:12:00.500 we don't want welfare takers who came here for three years 0.70
00:12:03.440 we don't want to give the passport
00:12:05.080 after five years
00:12:05.980 you have to show that you're worth to get our passport
00:12:08.680 that's absolutely clear
00:12:10.280 and I make now a proposal even into parliament
00:12:13.220 to put them out very quickly
00:12:14.760 so I'm a hotliner
00:12:16.480 but on the other side I say
00:12:18.600 your grandparents came
00:12:20.920 to make a better life here 1.00
00:12:22.140 you are with us anti-vogue 0.99
00:12:24.380 anti-LGTBQ ideology
00:12:27.520 anti-high taxes, anti-this whole left-wing nonsense. 0.92
00:12:32.000 Hey, you are part of our team. 0.98
00:12:34.160 So I demand this distinction from the remigration camp,
00:12:38.580 and I want to focus on more than just one issue.
00:12:45.780 So remigration, yes.
00:12:48.260 Deportation, yes.
00:12:49.820 But you're not an absolutist. 0.98
00:12:51.520 Those people who are in Germany who are assimilating
00:12:55.100 and want to contribute to Germany's national life, fine.
00:12:59.620 But the people who don't want, those who don't want to assimilate, 0.96
00:13:04.640 those who don't want to contribute, those who are in Germany 0.54
00:13:06.940 just for their benefits, they can go ahead.
00:13:10.340 I say, look, we are in a complete change of time.
00:13:14.080 So the message of the right wing has always to be positive.
00:13:18.400 The message is clear.
00:13:20.380 Let's build a new Germany, a Germany without vocism,
00:13:24.500 A Germany where everyone can be proud on the country.
00:13:28.540 A Germany that is strong again. 0.53
00:13:30.460 A Germany that takes its own future in its hand. 0.60
00:13:34.440 So the right wing offers you a deal.
00:13:37.880 Be part of the new Germany.
00:13:40.100 You want to be a part of the new Germany? 0.71
00:13:42.080 You're welcome. 0.96
00:13:43.420 You prefer to be outside.
00:13:45.700 You prefer to stick to your grandparents, etc., etc., home country. 0.93
00:13:52.140 You prefer to be criminal. 0.85
00:13:54.140 You prefer to be lazy and take welfare. 0.98
00:13:56.480 Sorry, we don't need you.
00:13:59.260 So there's an offer.
00:14:01.080 We are inclusive, and we are inclusive in a good way
00:14:04.420 because we are inclusive for a good thing.
00:14:06.360 The new Germany, the strong Germany, the proud Germany,
00:14:08.600 the German Germany, the Germany that everyone in the world looks for
00:14:14.260 and doesn't find in the current federal republic.
00:14:17.540 but what I don't follow
00:14:20.960 is a program of
00:14:22.800 ethnic cleansing 0.96
00:14:23.560 so this is exactly 0.97
00:14:26.320 the line I draw
00:14:28.480 and now you can decide
00:14:29.900 am I a moderator or am I
00:14:31.820 in the opposite and this is how I see myself
00:14:34.580 somebody
00:14:36.520 who is very tough
00:14:37.980 into the future
00:14:39.380 because I do politics for the future
00:14:41.860 and not for some
00:14:43.460 nonsense
00:14:45.080 uh ideas of the past i i i think um yeah i mean i think that's neither moderate nor radical it's
00:14:56.520 you said that early that you wanted um america america to understand that the afd was maga's
00:15:04.220 number one ally in europe we're listening to you speak it in your own words giving you the
00:15:09.940 opportunity to speak in your own words i think pretty much everyone in maga will be listening
00:15:15.080 to what you're saying and saying yeah this is what we think too um you did say that
00:15:20.220 the deportations the remigration is an important part of the afd's platform but it's not the only
00:15:30.040 part i'm going to come and talk to you about one of the the parts on the cultural aspect in just a
00:15:34.880 moment first i have to give a quick shout out to the show's sponsor birch gold um as you know folks
00:15:43.020 right now philip patrick and his team standing by to give advice consultancy on transferring over
00:15:55.700 an existing ira or 401k into a tax sheltered ira in gold especially right now the phone line's
00:16:04.300 pretty busy because gold is at such a competitive rate um especially compared to the last six
00:16:13.080 months compared to the last 10 years i think 10 years ago it was commanding a price of 1200
00:16:18.460 spot price now it's up to 4000 down from 4500 um and if you want to diversify your your savings
00:16:31.180 your assets then speak to philip patrick text bannon b-a-double-n-o-n to nine eight nine eight
00:16:38.940 nine eight i just have an honest conversation with him tell him you're watching the war room
00:16:44.480 you heard the call you don't know if buying gold is for you you've never done it before
00:16:49.840 um but you just want to know what the deal is how complicated is it what does it mean
00:16:54.020 have savings in gold philip patrick text bannon to 989898 don't forget birch gold
00:17:04.100 has an a plus rating with a better business bureau and many many five star reviews so let
00:17:12.360 birch gold help you build your foundation with gold back now to the afd member of the opm parliament
00:17:20.680 Maximilian Krah. So John Paul II said quite a few times that at the heart of culture is cult.
00:17:34.360 That is to say, the religion, religious faith of a nation, of the identity of a nation.
00:17:43.800 And obviously, when he was saying that, the great challenge to the West was provided by godless communism.
00:17:54.220 But the truth is there that the heart of...
00:17:56.260 Exactly.
00:17:57.400 The truth is there that there's a culture of death.
00:18:02.660 But the heart of culture is cult, religion, religious faith.
00:18:06.620 Now, when you say that there are other issues that the AFD is interested in, naturally, and I ask you this because your background before you entered politics was as a lawyer and before entering the European Parliament.
00:18:28.940 I think possibly whilst you might even have still been a member of the CDU, the Christian Democrat Union, you were a lawyer within the Lefebvre movement, the SSPX, which we talk about a lot on this show.
00:18:44.460 So that's why I just want to swivel out because there aren't that many politicians in elected office that you can have an intelligent and informed conversation about on this subject.
00:18:56.120 But seeing as we're discussing the consecrations quite a bit, let me ask you for your opinion then with your background.
00:19:03.080 And you obviously, as a practicing Catholic, quite well versed with the debate here.
00:19:09.880 Did you support the SSPX with the consecrations?
00:19:14.460 And what was your view toward Rome's, inverted commas, excommunications of the SSP?
00:19:23.280 I mean, first of all, I mean that someone like me is widely seen as the last hardcore Catholic in Germany,
00:19:31.480 tells you a lot about the crisis of the Catholic Church.
00:19:35.100 Because under healthy circumstances, I would probably be known as the greatest sinner in German politics.
00:19:43.500 but times have changed and the greatest sinner is now considered to be the greatest catholic
00:19:48.780 so i enjoy my role uh but to be honest to have me as an expert for catholic fate shows how bad
00:19:57.180 the situation is when i was still a lawyer for the sspx it was the time when there was the offer
00:20:05.260 by benedict the 16th to make it to make a deal and to be honest i had reached that they had made
00:20:12.620 the deal um because if the sspx had made a deal with benedict we probably would not have francis
00:20:21.260 so benedict did a lot uh to make an offer and i think the sspx should have been braver
00:20:31.420 and should have joined so we would not have francis we would not have tradition
00:20:36.300 and probably we would also have new bishops for the SSPX,
00:20:43.120 but without the conflict of Rome.
00:20:45.860 So to be honest, I think that the SSPX,
00:20:48.280 they lack the sense of braveness.
00:20:51.400 They are not brave enough.
00:20:55.080 Sometimes you have to take risk and to trust in God.
00:20:58.500 You have to say, God with us, let's move forward.
00:21:03.060 That's the thing.
00:21:03.560 On the other hand, I have fully understanding that they need new bishops.
00:21:07.540 And in the current situation, they cannot wait until all the bishops die.
00:21:11.460 And they are old.
00:21:12.220 Both Feli and the Gallaretta are not the youngest anymore.
00:21:16.700 So it's a tricky situation.
00:21:18.260 But it's not the situation that makes me happy.
00:21:20.560 I wish them well.
00:21:23.300 I think that Lefebvre is a saint of the 20th century.
00:21:28.400 I think that you can never restore Catholic faith and Catholic culture on the base of Vatican II.
00:21:33.560 But on the other hand, you need, it's not a way to stay outside the mainstream forever.
00:21:41.840 So you have to bridge, you have to build ties.
00:21:46.700 And so I'm quite unhappy.
00:21:48.720 And that said, I mean, when I go to Mass now, I do it with the Institute of Christ the King.
00:21:56.900 I think they also have their own way.
00:21:59.000 I think the way of Christ the King is very contemporary.
00:22:03.560 They combine the world in which we all live in with true faith and they want to work and they want to influence reality and not a way to say, let's go out of reality and wait.
00:22:25.720 I mean this is a little bit polemic
00:22:29.900 but 1.00
00:22:30.080 you should not become Catholic 0.99
00:22:33.760 Amish people which the 0.99
00:22:35.740 SSPX is not doing
00:22:36.920 but there's a tendency you have to be aware
00:22:39.900 of so
00:22:41.420 I see the consecrations
00:22:43.640 I think they were unavoidable to the
00:22:45.640 to the current time
00:22:47.840 but I would have
00:22:49.620 wished that 10 years ago or 15
00:22:51.820 years ago they had
00:22:53.620 taken the offer of Benedict XVI
00:22:55.260 um there's a lot to to break down on what you just said and on another occasion if you come
00:23:03.420 back i will ask you your opinion you can invite me all the time you know i'm a big fan of men's
00:23:09.140 war room so i'm i'm there for every hour you need me we'll get you back we'll get you back i will
00:23:15.880 ask you on a future occasion seeing as you were there at the center of this why you think that
00:23:24.160 the the negotiations between bishop fellay and the vatican uh under benedict the 16th why those
00:23:32.540 negotiations collapsed um some people and i'm perhaps in that camp believe it was actually
00:23:38.720 benedict the 16th himself who who ended up um um uh collapsing those talks because he insisted
00:23:48.360 the sspx needed to accept the teachings of the um the second vatican council we don't have the
00:23:53.840 time however to to go into that now what i want to ask you however because we have about like one
00:24:00.060 and a half minutes left is based on what you're saying it sounds to me like you think um your
00:24:08.380 opinion is if it was clear that the consecrations were going to lead to excommunications then the
00:24:18.720 SSP should not have gone ahead with the consecrations,
00:24:24.140 if that's what you're saying, to which I then have a follow-up point.
00:24:28.500 I mean, look, to the current time, the consecrations were necessary.
00:24:32.880 But if they had chosen to make a deal with Benedict XVI 15 years ago,
00:24:38.520 they would have gotten consecrations with their approval of the Vatican.
00:24:43.740 The point is, they would, in my mind, we would have new bishops either way.
00:24:51.700 That is my point.
00:24:53.700 So it was a mistake not to close the deal with Benedict XVI and XV years ago.
00:24:58.560 If they had closed the deal, they would have new bishops with approval.
00:25:04.920 Now they didn't close the deal, so they now have to consecrate bishops without approval.
00:25:10.080 in in either way they would have bishops that is my opinion but i say i mean if you choose not to
00:25:18.460 close the deal then of course you should consecrate bishops but otherwise it makes no sense
00:25:22.540 so there is an inner logic not to close a deal and consecrate bishops but there is also a logic
00:25:27.880 to close the deal and then to have bishops with the approval of the vatican you see my point
00:25:33.020 i i see the point it's a it's a widely held viewpoint um the problem i have with that is
00:25:42.220 that if one is giving rome such a degree of moral credibility and authority it then becomes
00:25:49.860 difficult i find to resist rome on the issues such as the invasion of continental europe or
00:25:59.900 or even the united states as well because the vatican is a big sponsor of the um of the third
00:26:06.300 world illegal but now the question is would the vatican be the same vatican if the sspx had closed
00:26:13.020 the deal the point is if the sspx had closed the deal then maybe and i'm quite sure we would not
00:26:19.900 have to get you back becoming pope we'll have to get you back to continue this one maximilian
00:26:25.420 on x where do people go to to keep up with you and as i said in the beginning you are one of the
00:26:30.760 most clear exponents of the afd presently um especially in the international sphere very
00:26:37.020 quickly 10 seconds on x where do people go to follow you people should follow me to get an
00:26:43.160 authentic view on germany's right-wing politics i made the bit the term right popular in germany

00:31:35.980 welcome back my next guest this evening deacon steve greco is a filmmaker who's made two films
00:31:44.040 that we're gonna just quickly talk about this evening first one will be the one that's out
00:31:48.180 right now adore him deacon steve welcome on to the show i see in your background you're rather
00:31:54.080 unusual in um um in the catholic tradition because you're charismatic um and that will obviously
00:32:03.020 have an overlap with a lot of the Protestants that we have who make up the bulk of the war room
00:32:09.500 audience. But what I find interesting about your background being of the charismatic persuasion
00:32:17.180 within the Catholic Church is your Eucharistic devotion. Because even within the Catholic Church,
00:32:24.360 There isn't a great overlap between these two portions, if you will, of living the Catholic faith.
00:32:36.540 Just if you wouldn't mind, just say a little bit about that and then we'll talk about the first film up this evening.
00:32:43.240 Well, 1978, way back when, I really gave my life to Jesus Christ.
00:32:50.120 I basically said, Lord, take over my life.
00:32:52.460 and I immediately went to scripture immediately I was spending two three four hours a day in
00:32:59.240 scripture you know and I looked at the gifts of the Holy Spirit and I looked in you know first
00:33:05.280 Corinthians 12 and and in looking at all the gifts and I looked at at the power of the Holy
00:33:11.720 Spirit and I basically said that's what I want you know I want to be all in I want to give my
00:33:17.200 life to Jesus Christ, not just tiptoe my way around. And because of that, you know, I actually
00:33:25.000 was heavily involved in the charismatic renewal and was a leader locally and across the country
00:33:32.200 and really across the world too. I'm a missionary into the Philippines and Southeast Asia. And so
00:33:38.540 at the basis of everything we do is to give your life to Jesus Christ, to totally surrender, to be
00:33:45.140 all in and to let the holy spirit lead you and the holy spirit led me to do films you know because
00:33:52.040 people do not understand how much jesus loves them and they don't understand catholics don't
00:33:58.020 have 70 of catholics do not understand that the eucharist is real body blood soul and divinity
00:34:04.680 it's jesus christ from the very earliest of times all the way through even martin luther believed in
00:34:11.000 And so bottom line is that most Catholics don't understand the power of the Mass,
00:34:16.800 the power of the Eucharist, and that's what the first film was all about.
00:34:22.280 Let's play the trailer of the film right now.
00:34:27.560 The devil hates adoration.
00:34:31.480 All of a sudden in that moment, it was as though this carpenter showed up.
00:34:35.400 All I knew was that Jesus Christ himself was standing in front of me.
00:34:39.340 every ounce of anxiety depression suicidal ideation addiction like flew out of me powerfully the
00:34:44.860 moment that i looked at him and the words that came out of my mouth was my lord and my god
00:34:50.940 get in front of the blessed sacrament because something spectacular happens there
00:35:00.940 tell me a bit more about i i get what you're saying because your background by the way you
00:35:06.300 You spent 35 years or so in the pharmaceutical industry.
00:35:10.040 So you have that huge professional background behind you.
00:35:15.980 Within the Catholic charism, excuse me, within the charismatic movement of the Catholic church,
00:35:23.800 there isn't typically a great overlap between devotion to the Holy Eucharist, right?
00:35:32.700 tell me a bit about your yourself there because i think these two things are coming together in
00:35:38.160 this film but i just want to hear you in your in your own words say this and after that tell me
00:35:46.400 just tell me a bit um what you hope this film might mean for catholics on their own journey
00:35:56.240 but also given the fact that as i was saying before a huge part of our war room audience
00:36:02.260 are actually evangelicals, conservative evangelicals,
00:36:05.600 who will have all sorts of ideas about the Catholic Church.
00:36:10.700 What's your proposition here to the evangelicals?
00:36:14.760 Well, the one thing where we're in common, obviously,
00:36:17.760 is that we love Jesus Christ.
00:36:20.360 He's our Savior. He's our Redeemer.
00:36:23.200 And we're all in, and we want to give our life to Jesus
00:36:25.820 and be used in terms of being an evangelist.
00:36:29.920 I am an evangelist here in the Diocese of Orange, where I'm in charge of evangelization for the
00:36:36.440 entire diocese. Souls for the kingdom is what all of us want. We want people to understand that Jesus
00:36:44.100 is our savior. He died and rose again that we may have eternal salvation. And because of that,
00:36:50.600 we praise him. He is God. So we're praising him. It's the highest form of prayer. And in praising
00:36:56.520 him it leads us to the eucharist and leads us to adoration what adoration is all about is if you
00:37:03.700 believe that he's in the the host in the real presence which of course catholics do if you
00:37:10.000 believe that from the earliest of times you know the the christians believe that then then you want
00:37:16.720 to praise him and you praise him through the eucharist through adoration um you praise him
00:37:23.900 with all of your heart, mind, soul, and strength.
00:37:26.220 You know, you give them your life and you listen.
00:37:28.660 Listening is incredibly important.
00:37:31.140 So this film, the reason we're doing the film 1.00
00:37:33.420 is because most Catholics don't understand
00:37:36.360 the power of adoration, the power of listening to God.
00:37:41.140 You go before him and you listen.
00:37:43.960 You listen and let him love you.
00:37:46.360 Let him tell you how much he loves you.
00:37:48.320 Let him guide you.
00:37:49.960 You know, he guided me and he basically said,
00:37:52.700 I want you to tell the world about how much I love them. I want you to tell the world about the
00:37:59.900 power of the Eucharist, the power of the mass and the power of adoration. You know, only less than
00:38:05.220 10% of Catholics really go to adoration. So to Catholics, they need to discover that this is a 0.67
00:38:12.620 tremendous gift like the masses. To those that are evangelical, let's find common ground in praising
00:38:19.780 God in, like you mentioned, the charismatic gifts, in letting people know that God is real.
00:38:27.740 He's the same yesterday, today, and forever. He has not abandoned us. He's given us the Holy
00:38:33.420 Spirit. John 14, very important. John 15, the vine and the branches. When we remain in him,
00:38:42.400 he remains in us. So understanding how scripture fits, understanding the power of the Eucharist,
00:38:49.120 the power of adoration that's what this film is all about this film is to make people on fire
00:38:55.300 whether they be catholic or or non-catholic when you see the film you should be able to say
00:39:02.500 jesus loves me and i want to tell the world how much jesus loves me
00:39:06.940 you said before that only 10 percent of catholics go to adoration do you draw any conclusions
00:39:17.320 from that? They don't understand the real presence in the Eucharist in the way that they need to. 0.99
00:39:25.280 They don't understand the fact that by going to adoration and deepening their prayer life,
00:39:32.580 you know, Bishop Fulton Sheen talked about the holy hour. We have many, many bishops in the film
00:39:40.020 and leaders like Chris Stefanik,
00:39:43.660 the Marian fathers, Chris Alar and Father Calloway.
00:39:47.640 And they're all saying the same things,
00:39:49.940 that your life becomes transformed
00:39:51.720 when you give your life to Jesus.
00:39:53.940 Your life becomes totally changed.
00:39:56.520 And so, you know, whether you're a Catholic
00:39:59.780 or a Protestant or whatever it might be,
00:40:02.920 all of us are in the same boat
00:40:04.700 in which we need to give everything we have to the Lord.
00:40:07.680 You know, your evangelical audience, thank you for saying yes to the Lord and being all in.
00:40:14.660 But so many people that are churchgoers, whether they be Catholic or Protestant, you know, who are Christians, they're not necessarily giving their life to Jesus Christ.
00:40:24.800 And that's what these movies, both the first movie, Jesus Thirst, The Miracle of the Eucharist, and the Adore Him movie are all about.
00:40:32.040 it we adore him because we love him that he loves us unconditionally and he died and rose again
00:40:39.540 that we may have eternal salvation and that we need to connect with him like the vine and the
00:40:45.700 branches in john 15 we need to connect with him he says apart from me you can do nothing and so
00:40:52.600 so these films are meant to be an awakening it's meant to be totally uh having you on fire for
00:41:00.920 jesus christ fuego on fire and as it says you know in in luke how i wish the the world was already on
00:41:08.980 a blaze and that i want to set it on fire and that's what these films are meant to be
00:41:13.740 is this is to talk to your heart that jesus loves you and that he wants you to give your life to him
00:41:21.600 that's what it's all about i'm sure that my evangelical brothers and sisters will agree with
00:41:27.140 that i'm sure too um let's take a quick moment i'll be back with deacon steve greco in just a
00:41:35.740 moment to talk about his 2024 film um and you heard him mentioning bishop fulton sheen he makes
00:41:42.560 a quick appearance in the trailer which we'll see in just a couple of moments i did in the first
00:41:47.420 half of this show give out the details to birch gold group speak to philip patrick and his team
00:41:54.580 text Bannon, that's B-A-N-N-O-N to 989898.
00:42:00.360 Once again, Bannon to 989898
00:42:03.680 and just ask him about what the options are,
00:42:08.740 the possibilities are of perhaps converting over an existing IRA
00:42:14.720 or 401k into a tax-sheltered IRA in gold.
00:42:18.500 Now is the time to do that.
00:42:19.600 gold is at an incredibly competitive price right now um back with deacon steve um
00:42:28.880 let's have the trailer to the um jesus thirst film which is quite remarkable
00:42:35.580 The Eucharist is God's greatest way of showing us
00:42:48.420 that he loves us
00:42:49.580 Jesus' love is made present through the Eucharist
00:42:55.980 He didn't want to leave us orphans
00:42:57.900 He left us himself in the Eucharist
00:43:00.600 Our Lord comes to meet us tangibly
00:43:03.700 because we're not just pure spirit
00:43:05.020 That's what Catholicism is all about.
00:43:06.780 And in the Eucharist, man, the rubber hits the road. 0.56
00:43:13.600 In the Mass, heaven comes down, and we are actually taken up into this reality.
00:43:35.020 The Eucharist is the victory of our salvation.
00:43:52.060 It is what freed us and liberated us from sin and death.
00:43:56.560 If God can transform bread and wine into his own body and blood, there is no limit to the power of his love.
00:44:05.020 welcome back I think both of these films are absolutely remarkable the first one adore him
00:44:19.920 that's out in October this year in just five minutes I'll ask you where people might go if
00:44:25.060 they want to book their churches in to go and see that film but tell me more about the Jesus
00:44:30.520 thirst from I can't help but think to myself when but watching both of these
00:44:36.020 that Sam now I realize you're a deacon ordained deacon permanent deacon and
00:44:43.300 therefore you have responsibilities effectively clergy but I'll ask you the
00:44:52.840 question anyway and I wouldn't expect you to be as critical as I am but I
00:44:58.400 I can't help but think when I'm watching these trailers
00:45:02.320 that if the Catholic Church spent its time
00:45:05.600 communicating that message
00:45:07.600 rather than politicking, entering into politics,
00:45:14.940 they'd be a very different church in a very different world.
00:45:19.360 To the degree that you feel comfortable responding to that,
00:45:24.120 let me hand over to you and ask for your thoughts on that.
00:45:28.400 Well, there's no question the leadership that we have in this diocese is one of evangelization.
00:45:35.400 It's the mission that we have.
00:45:37.540 And certainly that comes from the Vatican, from the top, from the Pope.
00:45:42.500 And I can't speak to everyone within the Catholic Church or everyone within any church.
00:45:48.980 But all I can say is that working for the Diocese of Orange, everything we do is based upon evangelization.
00:45:55.860 We have our 50th anniversary coming up on August 22nd at the Honda Center here in Orange County.
00:46:03.240 And everything about that will be about evangelization and sharing your life to Jesus Christ.
00:46:10.320 We have St. Paul Street Evangelization, which we're going out in the streets and we're meeting people where they are in the streets, knocking on doors.
00:46:19.840 And that's really what the Catholic Church is all about.
00:46:23.720 uh do does every church do that or every pastor i can't speak for that but i can tell you that
00:46:32.720 from the vatican all the way down that's what we're supposed to be doing and we're certainly
00:46:37.820 doing here in the diocese of orange we're in the biggest room the room for improvement
00:46:42.480 and we cannot be lukewarm that's why i always look at the third chapter of revelation
00:46:49.200 the church to lie to see that says i wish you were either cold or hot but because you're neither
00:46:54.460 cold or hot but lukewarm i spew you out of my mouth um we've got to make a commitment we've
00:47:00.480 got to say i'm all in lord use me in whatever way you want and that's certainly within the catholic
00:47:08.120 church tradition it's within the christian tradition so everyone listening that loves
00:47:15.860 the lord we need to be in prayer and we need to believe in the power of the holy spirit the power
00:47:22.000 of miracles the power of transformation and and that's what we have a movement called the ador
00:47:28.140 movement.com um in which you will find out more information about giving your life to jesus
00:47:35.700 we have another film site adore him film.com that you'll learn more about uh about the film itself
00:47:43.660 You can also, for Jesus Thirst of Miracle of the Eucharist, go to Prime Video or YouTube or various streaming outlets and still see it there.
00:47:52.920 But we are out, as you mentioned, October 4th, 5th, 6th, 7th, and 8th, and hopefully way beyond that.
00:48:00.220 Tickets will be on sale via Fathom Entertainment on August 21st online and select box offices.
00:48:08.940 So on August 21st, go buy your ticket to adore him.
00:48:13.020 You won't regret it.
00:48:14.300 Bring a whole bunch of people with you and your life will be transformed.
00:48:20.080 Folks, get your pen and pencil out or get ready to screenshot with your phone.
00:48:26.400 Because in three minutes, we'll give some of those websites out again.
00:48:29.620 Just whilst I've got you here, Deacon Steven, I find what you're doing here really quite inspirational.
00:48:35.840 Just give me two minutes on what you think the role of the laity is and should be right now at this particular point in human history in terms of evangelizing the gospel of Jesus Christ.
00:48:53.360 I feel very strongly that the world needs us to be totally committed, not lukewarm, not one foot in, one foot out, not looking to somebody else.
00:49:04.080 every single person that has made a decision for Christ, that basically has said, Lord,
00:49:11.360 I surrender my life to you. I want to be with you for all of eternity. There's responsibility
00:49:16.120 that goes along with that. That responsibility is do not hide your light under a bushel basket.
00:49:23.080 Tell your family, tell your friends, tell whoever you encounter at work, wherever you are in schools,
00:49:29.520 wherever you are on the streets, in any type of mission, in anything you do, tell them that Jesus
00:49:37.680 loves them, that he died for them and rose again, that they may have eternal salvation.
00:49:44.200 So many people think they're not worthy. Oh, well, I messed up my life. You know, I did this,
00:49:49.860 I did that. Guess what? Jesus is saying, come to me with your brokenness. Come to me with your
00:49:56.680 sinfulness. Come to me and I will transform your heart. You know, look at the good thief on the
00:50:02.280 cross. I mean, we don't know what he did, but chances are he did quite a few things that were
00:50:07.640 pretty bad. And what did Jesus say? You know, all he said was, what did the good thief say? Remember
00:50:13.200 me when you come into your paradise? And Jesus said, today you'll be with me in paradise. So
00:50:18.060 that kind of mercy, that kind of love, that's what it's all about. That's what it means to be a
00:50:24.360 christian and certainly what it means to be a catholic is it's to say i'm all in i give you
00:50:31.260 my life and then tell everybody about it at all your events wherever you are at restaurant i i
00:50:37.860 evangelize in grocery stores at restaurants on airplanes on wherever i'm at whoever is next to
00:50:44.200 me i said you know jesus sent me here because he loves you and he wants you to know it

00:52:19.040 the IRS is fighting back and proving it's here to stay
00:52:22.140 by becoming more aggressive than ever before.
00:52:25.520 They're sending out more collection notices,
00:52:28.080 filing more tax liens, and collecting billions more in recent years.
00:52:33.280 If you owe, the IRS can garnish your wages,

00:52:39.960 and even your home if you owe or haven't filed it's not a question of if the irs will act it's
