00:00:00.000 This is the primal scream of a dying regime.
00:00:07.000 Pray for our enemies.
00:00:09.000 Because we're going medieval on these people.
00:00:12.000 I got a free shot at all these networks lying about the people.
00:00:17.000 The people have had a belly full of it.
00:00:19.000 I know you don't like hearing that.
00:00:20.000 I know you try to do everything in the world to stop that,
00:00:22.000 but you're not going to stop it.
00:00:23.000 It's going to happen.
00:00:24.000 And where do people like that go to share the big lie?
00:00:27.000 MAGA Media.
00:00:29.000 I wish in my soul, I wish that any of these people had a conscience.
00:00:34.640 Ask yourself, what is my task and what is my purpose?
00:00:38.420 If that answer is to save my country, this country will be saved.
00:00:44.740 War Room. Here's your host, Stephen K. Vann.
00:00:48.000 wednesday 19th of august anno domini 2026 harnwell here at the herman steve bannon's war
00:01:01.060 room good evening let's bring on frank walker straight away we've got jenny coming on in a
00:01:05.760 moment as well but let's bring on frank straight away hey frank uh hope everything is well with
00:01:10.400 you had a good week um look folks when we do this show when we put the show together we always try
00:01:17.440 as best we can to pick stories that are not only going to be of interest,
00:01:23.060 especially on the show that we do on Wednesdays that has a particular look
00:01:27.220 along developments, let's say developments in Christianity.
00:01:33.560 We always try to pick stories that are going to be of interest.
00:01:38.420 If it's a Catholic story, we'll try and show how it's going to be interesting
00:01:41.540 and important to evangelicals and vice versa.
00:01:47.440 But we always try to pick out stories, if we can, when they exist, that are illustrative of the wider reality of the situation.
00:02:03.440 There is no better example of us doing that than the story we're going to lead with today.
00:02:10.640 Denver, if you wouldn't mind, please very kindly put up the article
00:02:13.600 for the first one in the background as I'm talking to Frank here.
00:02:17.920 This is a perfect example of exactly what is wrong
00:02:24.220 in the post-contencilia church headline, 0.98
00:02:27.780 Jewish woman elected president of Catholic Biblical Association of America.
00:02:35.620 That's it.
00:02:36.280 And I even picked out this, the article here from the Jerusalem Post.
00:02:44.000 And I'll tell you why this is important, and then we'll break it down with Frank Walker.
00:02:49.360 Because, now you can imagine how, you know, assuming they mean, well, you can, which I don't anymore,
00:02:56.660 but you can imagine how, from a certain view to the bishops and cardinals in the Vatican that make these appointments,
00:03:06.280 that this shows just how liberal they are, how non-bigoted they are,
00:03:11.180 how open they are.
00:03:12.860 Let's bring in a Jewish scholar to head the Catholic Biblical Association.
00:03:22.240 And isn't that wonderful? Isn't that tolerant?
00:03:25.280 Isn't that non-judgmental?
00:03:26.960 Frank Walker, isn't that so non-judgmental of the Catholic Biblical Association?
00:03:32.740 Here's the problem.
00:03:33.920 um yeah you're very impressed i was very impressed with with the non-judgmental
00:03:38.960 folk look the problem with this okay i'm going to break this story down fundamentally it's this
00:03:47.120 this jewish scholar who whose name is um amy jill levine
00:03:56.260 as someone and we'll if we get to it there was even a suggestion that she was actually a messianic
00:04:03.400 Jew. You can imagine the people who put that rumour about trying to dissuade the scandal that is
00:04:11.980 already inherent in this story. So she's ethnically Jewish, but really she's a Christian.
00:04:19.820 She's a messianic Jew. And she herself, Professor Levine herself, came out and said, no, no, no,
00:04:25.680 she goes to an Orthodox Jewish synagogue. She's definitely Jewish. The problem with this,
00:04:30.920 from a christian perspective is that jews formally one could always say it's like an
00:04:39.760 article of faith they don't accept jesus christ as as the messiah
00:04:45.540 or as we would say in christian terms lord and savior they don't accept they accept jesus christ
00:04:52.400 as God.
00:04:55.160 That's the problem with this.
00:04:57.940 Because basically, Frank Walker,
00:05:00.780 I'll hand over to you on this point.
00:05:03.620 But basically, the Catholic Biblical Association of America
00:05:08.420 is making the claim that of all the scholars
00:05:13.640 it's associated with around the world,
00:05:15.840 it doesn't have anyone better to have as its new president
00:05:21.500 than someone who formally, formally, fundamentally rejects the divinity of Jesus Christ.
00:05:31.680 And that's why I say this story is illustrative of the wider malaise in the post-conciliate Catholic Church.
00:05:40.420 Because, folks, that is the default position of most of the institutional Catholic Church.
00:05:46.760 They don't believe in the divinity of Jesus Christ.
00:05:50.000 if they did they would find this story absolutely scandalous right they don't find it scandalous
00:05:55.920 because they don't believe either frank walker no and this is where the ultimately now that leo
00:06:01.700 is in charge and francis were in charge this is where the vatican gets a lot of its decisions
00:06:07.000 from these scholars um this woman it the catholic side of her life is not militant like you're just 0.72
00:06:15.340 describing, but she's still militant about being Jewish. So, you know, you have a relationship
00:06:21.580 that's sort of inimical, you know, as they mentioned in this post, that she actually wants to
00:06:27.240 black line things out of scripture. And one of them, it's because it's anti-Jewish,
00:06:35.100 but you'll have a back and forth between Christ and the Pharisees, where they're calling each
00:06:39.900 other um devils your father is of the devil and but jesus but they say that jesus has the devil
00:06:46.040 too but that's hostile so they have to cut the parts that jesus said out so they're still
00:06:51.520 identifying with the antagonistic relationship between jesus and the jews but they want to
00:06:56.760 excise that all out of the gospel people don't understand this became a big story went around
00:07:01.660 the world because to have somebody like this in charge of this catholic bible association is
00:07:06.560 incredible, a Jewish person, but she's actually been there for decades. And what they don't know
00:07:12.420 is the thousand people that are in that organization, very few of them actually
00:07:17.160 probably are Catholic. In fact, when it comes to practicing faithful Catholics, there may not be
00:07:22.820 any at all among the thousand. Another thing they don't know about this operation is that
00:07:27.900 the bishops are connected to it because it goes back, you know, 90 years. And they've already
00:07:35.020 gotten together with this with this operation on their bible translations not just bible
00:07:40.480 translations but the catechism and the lectionary catholics they go through the bible every three
00:07:46.760 years they go through the bible and in mass they hear gospel they hear readings she has influence
00:07:52.180 over what gets edited out of what they say and she also has influence on what the priests say
00:07:57.980 in their homilies and she's interested in having more influence than this already she says i've
00:08:03.400 had a love affair with the Catholic Church my whole life, but it's chaste. I think that's a
00:08:08.000 complete lie. I think that she is raping the Catholic Church. I think that she's a radical, 1.00
00:08:12.680 and she's there to destroy the Catholic Church. Yeah, it's just, we have no idea how involved.
00:08:21.220 In fact, the executive that's in charge of the Catholic Bible Association that hired her just now,
00:08:27.760 he doesn't appear to be Catholic either. He's Baptist educated. He's at Yale Divinity School.
00:08:33.400 but he was at Notre Dame for quite a long time.
00:08:35.700 Now, she has a history with Francis.
00:08:37.960 She has a book, the Jewish Annotated Bible,
00:08:40.500 and she gave it to Pope Francis.
00:08:41.600 Three times.
00:08:42.100 She wrote it three times.
00:08:44.260 And Francis said, this is a wonderful and important work.
00:08:48.040 Please put this where I can read it.
00:08:50.100 Of course, of course, of course.
00:08:52.220 You know, birds of a feather flock together, right?
00:08:54.180 Of course, none of these people,
00:08:57.280 none of these people from start to finish are Catholic.
00:09:00.940 That's why nobody's scandalized by this, because none of them fundamentally believe that Jesus Christ is God.
00:09:08.880 None of them.
00:09:10.460 Those who are Catholic within the Catholic Church, they might give lip service to that because it pays the bills. 0.82
00:09:21.240 It pays the mortgage, puts the roof over the head, puts three square meals down a day, being an employee in one way or another of the Catholic Church.
00:09:29.980 and it's a grift.
00:09:32.540 This is a story that the Catholic Church
00:09:36.620 is an institutional vehicle 0.99
00:09:38.620 built, constructed, paid for
00:09:41.160 by the sacrifice of the martyrs and the saints
00:09:44.560 and 2,000 years of faithful
00:09:46.640 and the peasants putting the penny on the plate, right? 0.53
00:09:50.160 And it's now, since the Second Vatican Council onwards,
00:09:53.780 it is now the institution 1.00
00:09:56.440 that is the the fundamental meal ticket to a a class of parasites and grifters and usurpers 0.97
00:10:07.260 and this story i think exemplifies frank walker but you and i come on come on this show every 0.96
00:10:14.880 wednesday evening and beat the same drunk about is the same drum about cath catholic in ink about
00:10:21.920 trad ink it's all here in this story her shtick by the way professor levine's shtick is in the
00:10:30.300 first century church they're the first century jewish traditions um because she thinks catholics
00:10:37.160 should should should might should know more about first century jewish traditions now look
00:10:42.500 i can you know and as someone who's jewish i think the old term used to be a jewess
00:10:50.500 But as someone who's Jewish, she might actually have something to share on that point.
00:10:55.440 But I'm only interested to hear about first century Jewish traditions if the point of that instruction is to underline even more how Jesus Christ was the fulfillment of the prophets and the Messianic expectations, right?
00:11:13.920 I'm interested to hear about first century Jewish traditions, if we see them being incorporated into the start of the liturgy of the mass, right?
00:11:27.460 Right.
00:11:27.800 Because these things fundamentally reinforce something that the Catholic Church before the Second Vatican Council used to believe, but these days doesn't because it's not Catholic.
00:11:37.400 And that is that the Catholic Church fundamentally was the continuation of the Jewish people and the Jewish promises under the New Covenant, right?
00:11:51.080 That was a one long continuous. 0.70
00:11:53.860 So it used to be the Catholic Church's position that, of course, post-Christ, of course, Jews need to convert to Christianity and accept Jesus Christ as Savior.
00:12:03.980 because there is fundamentally no pre-New Covenant Jewish tradition anymore. 0.55
00:12:12.220 It was all subsumed into Christianity.
00:12:17.160 That used to be the position. 0.96
00:12:18.780 And by the way, as far as I'm aware,
00:12:23.020 even up until the time of Luther,
00:12:27.040 all Christians, Catholics and Protestants,
00:12:31.700 believed this, that Christianity was the fulfillment
00:12:35.940 and continuation of Judaism.
00:12:38.440 Therefore, there was no continuing Jewish covenant.
00:12:45.660 So it all comes back to this point, Frank Walker,
00:12:49.580 it all comes back to this point.
00:12:50.680 The people who are running the Catholic Church into the ground
00:12:54.080 don't believe in the basic tenets of Christianity, right?
00:12:59.380 And for Catholics, I tell you what, let me finish this point.
00:13:03.820 Then I'll do a quick shout out to the sponsor. 0.99
00:13:05.800 Then I'll come back and the microphone will be yours, right?
00:13:09.320 But this is why something I say again, I say myself, Frank, you might agree with this, you might not.
00:13:14.660 I don't attribute it to you if it's not your view.
00:13:17.440 But it's certainly my view that the fundamental role of the laity now is to take the reins of the church out of the hands of the highly shepherds
00:13:27.580 who are running the church into the ground.
00:13:30.300 Now, as Frank Walker occasionally tells me,
00:13:32.020 you know, that's not exactly a traditional Catholic view
00:13:34.880 of the role of the late.
00:13:37.840 And my response will be, sure,
00:13:39.920 we can talk about obedience to the clerical caste.
00:13:47.400 We can talk about obedience to bishops and cardinals and popes,
00:13:50.920 which is the proper role, the proper formation of the late.
00:13:53.580 once we have course corrected the trajectory right let's do but at the moment we're an
00:14:01.480 airplane sort of crashing into a flying direct to a building we have to storm the cockpit let
00:14:07.080 me do a quick shout out frank to our sponsors um and then i'll give you proper serious time
00:14:11.620 uh when we come back so let's start off let's do birch gold um
00:14:17.560 Axios carried this story a couple of days ago that the national debt once again is becoming ever more expensive for American taxpayers,
00:14:33.100 talking about the yields on 10-year treasuries and 30-year treasuries and the annualized interest costs of the national debt.
00:14:45.240 now at $1.2 trillion, which is even more than what the world's greatest military industrial
00:14:54.860 complex spends on defence, right? So let that sink in. And of course, there's only one way,
00:15:02.540 really, that the federal government is going to get itself out of this mess, and that's by
00:15:06.060 printing more money. And the consequence of printing more money is going to be there's
00:15:09.500 asset inflation and a deterioration of dollar savings.
00:15:15.840 So therefore, folks, as Steve will say, Steve Bannon will always say,
00:15:19.200 we are heading into times of turbulence.
00:15:21.480 And if you want to store your dollars in an asset that is going to go up,
00:15:28.380 well, gold itself has gone up from a couple of months ago.
00:15:32.380 $4,000 is now back up to just under $4,500 an ounce.
00:15:37.340 is rocketing away.
00:15:40.380 If you want to get in on the action,
00:15:42.700 pick up your phone and text to Bannon,
00:15:44.980 that's B-A-N-N-O-N,
00:15:47.860 to 989898
00:15:50.020 and speak to Philip Patrick and the team.
00:15:53.180 Say, you listen to the show,
00:15:55.120 you understand what's going on.
00:15:56.340 You don't really understand how to perhaps
00:15:59.840 move an IRA into an IRA in physical gold.
00:16:03.460 How is it done?
00:16:04.560 Speak to Philip Patrick and the team.
00:16:06.920 that's what they're there for they'll give you guys some great pointers text once again bannon
00:16:12.900 to 98 98 98 um and see how you get on all right frank walker um the microphone is yours well then
00:16:24.040 the um you know historically storming the cockpit the laity i think that that is traditional that
00:16:29.640 goes back all the way from the beginning of time in fact it's our duty it's our duty because and
00:16:34.640 you're right, the church continues to be hierarchical regardless of storming the cockpit
00:16:38.500 because it's not hierarchical with a heretical hierarchy. You have to have a hierarchy that's
00:16:47.620 Catholic. And if you don't, that's when it's time to storm the cockpit. I know it sounds like a 0.86
00:16:51.620 complicated situation, but that's just the way it's played out over history. There's another,
00:16:56.400 they quoted the National Catholic Reporter on this, Levine, who's running the Catholic Bible
00:17:00.960 Association, and well integrated with the bishops and the Vatican, teaching courses, this Jewish
00:17:07.760 lady, teaching courses, and writing for the Servitory Romano, the Vatican's paper. But this
00:17:14.940 nun says that what I'm interested, because she's a big supporter of this woman, what I'm interested
00:17:18.840 in doing is taking Jesus' humanity with the full seriousness, and seeing him as embedded in a
00:17:23.600 particular time and place as a Jewish man, because if we get the culture wrong, we're going to get
00:17:28.540 Jesus wrong. And so she's a scholar. It doesn't really matter whether she's Catholic or not.
00:17:34.460 What matters is her holy scholarship. They did this with the Land of Lake Statement at Notre Dame
00:17:40.700 60 years ago. And from then on, Catholic schools were no longer Catholic. They were just scholarly.
00:17:48.540 That's more important. And that's what they have here. They're going to get the culture right so
00:17:53.100 they can change Jesus, because everybody has, these feminists, none, says that everybody has 1.00
00:17:59.100 Jesus wrong. And she's even got LGBT, so Jewish ladies, she's more than just about excising things 1.00
00:18:06.480 that she doesn't like that make the Pharisees look bad from the Bible. She's also about making 0.96
00:18:11.420 the Bible more gay, and she doesn't like how she says, you know, we love the sinner, but not the
00:18:18.140 sin, that's not helpful. She has all kinds of commentary on whether or not Catholicism is good
00:18:24.720 or not. So like you would expect from someone who hates the church and is an enemy, she has a very
00:18:29.340 sweet disposition, but she is a full-scale, radical enemy, just like our hierarchy in Rome is today.
00:18:37.880 This is the point. You've got to go beyond the superficialities of niceness, right?
00:18:42.960 and look at the, because we're not saved by niceness.
00:18:46.060 Jesus Christ never promises salvation through being nice.
00:18:50.920 It's through faith, faith in Jesus Christ and through works, of course.
00:18:56.220 So that's the issue here.
00:18:58.160 And this lady, however nice she might be, she's looked at all of this.
00:19:02.000 She spent her entire life studying the New Testament. 0.65
00:19:04.700 She'll know the New Testament, you know, better than, I guess, 99% of Catholics.
00:19:11.400 probably not 99% of evangelicals,
00:19:14.160 but she'll know the New Testament better than 99% of Catholics.
00:19:19.340 But the point is this, she knows the New Testament
00:19:21.080 and she rejects the idea, the thesis, right,
00:19:26.280 that from the New Testament you can draw the conclusion
00:19:29.300 that Jesus Christ was God, was the Messiah.
00:19:32.840 That's the point. 0.95
00:19:33.980 And you cannot have someone who spent their life
00:19:37.400 studying the New Testament and who comes out with the conclusion,
00:19:40.260 nope christ simply wasn't the messiah um as the head of the catholic biblical association right
00:19:47.100 it's ridiculous it's absolutely she has to go her readings okay you'll get her readings at mass
00:19:53.160 i don't know well of course for those who go to the old mass um no you won't you you won't have
00:20:01.860 that problem all right we're gonna quickly go over to to jenny who um is is been waiting very
00:20:07.760 patiently in the wings
00:20:09.460 because you knew we were going to hit this one
00:20:11.020 and go on.
00:20:12.640 Before I did, a quick shout out to Tax Network USA.
00:20:18.680 Folks, you know that there's a special landing page
00:20:22.040 prepared now, bannon.tnusa.com.
00:20:26.820 If you call 1-800-958-1000
00:20:30.980 or go to the website,
00:20:34.420 I just mentioned bannon.tnusa.com,
00:20:37.400 You can speak to the guys there and they'll give you a free IRS research and discovery call to let you know what your situation is.
00:20:44.780 This is especially useful if you've received some kind of notification from the IRS saying that you owe money.
00:20:52.900 It's especially useful, for example, if you think you might actually owe back taxes or if you haven't filed in years.
00:20:59.580 And of course, you know, you take these notices, stick them in the drawer and magically the problem goes away.
00:21:05.640 Well, it does go away for nine out of ten things.
00:21:07.680 This isn't one of those things that is going to go away if you ignore it.
00:21:13.140 That's why, once again, Tax Network USA offering a completely free iOS research and discovery call.
00:21:21.420 Won't cost you anything. Just phone them up, give them the details.
00:21:24.800 They'll tap them into the computer and they'll tell you what the situation is.
00:21:27.260 And if you do owe something, they can tell you how that compares to what the iOS says you owe.
00:21:33.900 and they might be able to tell you how you can get that figured down a bit.

00:21:49.400 All right, Jenny Holland, welcome onto the show. 0.87
00:21:56.200 I will hope that you are sufficiently dehedged.
00:22:03.900 after traveling back from Italy today.
00:22:10.140 It was a sprint.
00:22:10.820 It was a sprint.
00:22:13.020 So look, what's the matter with Kansas? 1.00
00:22:16.060 The Democratic gubernatorial nominee, Cindy Holscher,
00:22:22.760 has suggested that Jesus Christ could have been transgender.
00:22:33.900 i have no idea i have no idea she says if jesus was trans gay straight etc look the point is this
00:22:43.540 was said it's emerged recently but this was said uh in a social media debate on x folks don't get
00:22:51.880 into social media arguments on x i never do she got into one in 2023 and this is when this is
00:22:57.560 what what she really thinks all came out some of these posts have actually even been deleted
00:23:03.400 um but now she's been selected as the nominee for kansas for governor and she's she's going through
00:23:13.280 hitting delete pretty quickly um my my take on this jenny and i'll give way to you and ask you
00:23:18.800 for yours now my take on this is that the importance here is what was said when she had
00:23:25.460 no expectation of being the nominee um and to contrast that with why it was deleted and the
00:23:32.280 reason why it was so so what was said is representative of what she actually thinks
00:23:37.080 and why it was deleted was because now she needs to pretend to be as most democrats and indeed
00:23:45.780 republicans do at election time now she needs to pretend to have the same views as ordinary regular
00:23:52.600 americans um all right but i know you're you're following this and this is sort of it it follows
00:23:59.600 two things that you are very interested in which is how people talk about christ in the public
00:24:04.420 sphere but also the trans issue as well because the reason that she was mocking our lord and 0.91
00:24:09.500 savior so much was because she was trying to excuse drag was it at school hour for drag queens what 1.00
00:24:17.760 was i forget what it's called now um but but the appalling monstrosity of child abuse that they 0.99
00:24:23.360 did in schools she was defending drag queen story hour in schools and that's why she said she had
00:24:29.080 no idea whether jesus was trans gay or straight jenny what's your uh thoughts no idea at all um
00:24:36.160 thoughts and analysis please then i mean really who can say who among us can really say whether
00:24:42.620 or not jesus well i tell you who i tell you who won't be able to say and that's the catholic
00:24:46.980 biblical association but we'll move on pretty quickly this story forgive my laughter because
00:24:53.120 it's not an indication that i don't take it seriously um but it is you couldn't write satire
00:24:58.940 this biting you really couldn't like jonathan swift could come down from heaven and he would
00:25:04.700 not be words would fail him so there's a couple of really important um signifiers in this story
00:25:11.800 one is for anyone out in the audience and i doubt there is but just in case there is
00:25:17.080 If there's anyone out in the audience who thinks that culture war issues are just distractions and frivolities and we really need to focus on meat and butter issues or foreign policy or anything else, disabuse yourself of that notion immediately.
00:25:36.860 culture war, the culture war, the phrase culture war is just a polite term for what it actually
00:25:43.920 is, which is spiritual war, which what it really is, is spiritual attack. This woman who I'd ever
00:25:52.120 heard of before this morning, because I don't follow Kansas politics, not surprisingly, 0.81
00:25:56.480 is not even a radical candidate. And yes, this is what she said in 2023. And forgive my looking
00:26:05.600 down at the screen because it really needs to be spoken of specifically. She posted a photograph
00:26:11.920 of Jesus with children and wrote underneath it, so what about this with four question marks, 0.73
00:26:19.160 implying that drag queens reading to children was akin to Jesus welcoming children,
00:26:27.360 you know, for the children unto me. And when someone challenged her on this and was she 0.84
00:26:33.680 implying that jesus was transgender she wrote i have no idea if jesus was trans gay straight etc
00:26:41.220 but wait no wait you seem to imply a sacred figure is less than if they aren't straight
00:26:49.200 jenny um continue hold that for 10 seconds we'll be back in two minutes and then continue the
00:26:57.300 sentence you don't wait until your house is on fire to install a smoke detector and you don't
00:27:04.760 wait until the wind and rain hammer your windows and the power goes out to prepare for a hurricane
00:27:11.300 and you don't reach for your seat belt after the impact because after the crash the hurricane or
00:27:17.720 the house fire it's too late similarly you don't wait until the dollar goes to zero before you buy
00:27:24.080 gold it's too late then diversify with precious metals and diversify now because you never know
00:27:31.100 what will threaten your savings next persistent inflation a weakening dollar unexpected financial

00:30:12.760 We cannot let that happen in these midterms.
00:30:16.180 America needs every one of us in the fight,

00:31:51.880 You know, one of the great things I really can't wait for as we sit and prepare this show is Jenny Holland's takes on things.
00:32:03.700 Jenny's a professional writer. Jenny, I've been talking about the culture war for about 30 years since I first got into politics.
00:32:13.540 you you put this so brilliantly um in the previous segment the culture war i'm not only will i quote
00:32:21.660 this i will actually steal it um culture war is simply the polite term for spiritual warfare that
00:32:28.240 is that is so so true um so look um that was i just want to do underline that so everyone makes
00:32:35.180 a note of that and and then uses it quote jenny if you want or just part or pass it off as your
00:32:40.860 own material um as as you will that's probably that's why that's why the war room exists to give
00:32:47.260 you guys the great argumentative thematic material to win at dinner table conversations so jenny
00:32:54.900 you were um you were quoting um the uh hold holster uh as saying um but you seem to imply
00:33:04.440 that a sacred figure is less than if they aren't straight that's too bad yes that's too bad um so
00:33:12.640 really important thing to note here that holscher is not the radical candidate she is not a dsa
00:33:19.620 aligned figure she is not um considered to be sort of out there in woke ideology she's not a blue
00:33:26.620 haired morbidly obese um crazy person with a nose ring this is a very uh respectable seeming
00:33:34.700 middle-aged woman who is trying to make this argument that jesus um and his protection of 0.81
00:33:42.860 and care for young children and the innocence of young children is the same thing or or or uh 1.00
00:33:49.320 equivalent to drag queens that demimonde sort of perversion of of nightlife um as reading stories
00:33:59.300 to children um so i mean but also note the the way she says this i mean this is not a person 0.54
00:34:06.180 who's operating at a high intellectual level i mean does this woman even have three brain cells
00:34:11.220 to rub together to post so what about this as if she had some sort of major gotcha 1.00
00:34:16.680 with comparing Jesus to drag queens. 1.00
00:34:21.680 These people are so moronic 1.00
00:34:25.060 and they're so profoundly unwise 1.00
00:34:28.440 that they should not be anywhere near power.
00:34:31.440 But she is just one of many.
00:34:33.020 This is the problem going into the midterms in October
00:34:36.580 that really that anyone who is still considered
00:34:39.520 themselves an independent needs to understand
00:34:41.440 that this woman does not represent a fringe element
00:34:44.200 of the Democratic Party.
00:34:45.380 even if you're an atheist even if you are anti-church to to be so to see something so glib 1.00
00:34:52.500 and so dumb like genuinely just really stupid a comment like that from a person who now wants to 0.99
00:34:57.580 lead an entire state really needs to give you pause she is not the only one you know in so and 1.00
00:35:03.780 we're talking about red states like kansas and we also have the inestimable james tallarico in texas
00:35:10.620 who is saying similar things like God is non-binary and yada, yada, yada.
00:35:15.060 And he claims to be a seminarian or have been a seminarian.
00:35:18.220 And again, he is also not a radical, fire-breathing, communist candidate.
00:35:25.900 He is the establishment Democrat.
00:35:28.180 Abandon all hope, ye who enter with Democrats.
00:35:31.840 They are completely unsalvageable. 0.88
00:35:35.120 They are absolutely a threat to this nation.
00:35:37.280 that this is how far woke ideology, i.e. spiritual warfare, has seeped into the Democratic Party,
00:35:45.840 that these candidates, these Jesus is a drag queen and God is non-binary candidates, 0.54
00:35:51.060 are their normie candidates. This has to be drummed home to any remaining independents who 0.92
00:35:58.260 don't want to come out in October, because the actual fate of Western civilization rests in 0.88
00:36:05.500 these days as we are trying to push back against these absolute looting tunes
00:36:09.540 jenny you've just handed me the segue into the third block um perfect on the on the point of
00:36:18.660 defending western civilization we're gonna hit that now with frank look so um i'm gonna resist
00:36:23.900 the temptation of saying we're not in kansas anymore um dorothy um all right so your point
00:36:30.900 here is that cindy holster may not be morbidly obese she may not have blue hair and the nose
00:36:36.560 ring um but she's still um to use another one i can't stop quoting your celebrated phrases 0.58
00:36:44.040 she's basically still an orc in a sparkly dress which is what you which is what you've used to
00:36:51.220 describe another woke character on the show a couple of weeks ago brilliant i had so much
00:36:56.520 feedback about that all right okay um let's hope the good folk of kansas uh know exactly uh what
00:37:04.740 they're going to be what the issues are when they then vote all right um frank walker look the reason
00:37:10.100 why i like this story um no i like this story anyway because it's exactly the sort of thing i
00:37:15.360 want to see um but i had at the back of my head what you said um last week when you you went out
00:37:24.220 of your way to indicate pete hegseth as the idea of you think of someone who is is confident with
00:37:31.940 their christian faith in their public life about why their their christian faith inspires them
00:37:37.760 to act in the way that they do making those contributions for the public good so i saw this
00:37:44.260 story then um we'll pull up the the associated press version um that u.s military base schools
00:37:53.080 are now putting a new emphasis on western civilization and christianity and of course
00:37:59.020 the usual suspects are absolutely outraged but i think you know the more i see things like this
00:38:04.620 look folks who watch the show will know that i'm not necessarily i'm not really all in on the
00:38:09.740 on the present war with the between the u.s and iran not particularly all in on that
00:38:17.520 Let me put it like that. However, Pete Hegseth is going out on these things, on the importance of defending Western civilisation.
00:38:27.700 I think Pete Hegseth really is leading from the front.
00:38:33.880 And of course, the idea is because the these military schools are directly overseen via the Department of Defence Education Activity.
00:38:45.840 The idea is that this is a test run of re-centering public education around these values because this Department of Defence education activity already operates 160 or so schools, educating roughly 70,000 students.
00:39:09.580 Frank Walker, I know you're following this.
00:39:11.680 What is Pete Hegseth, the Secretary of Defense or the Secretary of War, to use the contemporary terminology?
00:39:19.640 What exactly is he trying to see kids these days have a greater appreciation of?
00:39:29.340 it's wonderful really to see because he has he's a secretary of war but he has a perspective
00:39:38.040 of conquest he looks at this culture that jen just described and he says the biggest problem 0.93
00:39:44.340 they have is they've taken over our minds we're ignorant like like this orc that was just 1.00
00:39:50.020 described in kansas we're ignorant and we're and stupid and we don't get the basics that we have 1.00
00:39:56.060 because they have sabotaged our minds. And it's so prevalent, you know, like the mess of the 1.00
00:40:02.840 Catholic Church. It's so prevalent that we don't even know. We're in the middle of it. But Hex 0.99
00:40:08.480 says, we are here, and we need to get there. And I know this isn't about war, but it's a war,
00:40:17.780 and it's a spiritual war. And this is my approach to it. It's really not that radical. All he's
00:40:23.680 doing is trying to recover what was there you know 60 years ago and all of our you we they've
00:40:30.180 thrown aside who we are and that and he even uses those words he's a he's introducing a core center
00:40:37.200 in western civilization and christianity for military families and he's mentioned 70 000
00:40:42.680 schools i mean that's like oh that's like over a hundred schools hundreds of schools of all the
00:40:47.960 military schools and uh they're going to they're going to get it's it's really sort of um it's
00:40:52.860 something out of his i don't know if you're familiar with hillsdale college in michigan
00:40:56.460 but that college receives no government funding and it teaches a classical education and hillsdale
00:41:03.180 is is great and all sorts of wonderful people come and speak there all the time but um they
00:41:08.880 have in recent years they have farmed out to uh um to all sorts of public schools and charter
00:41:15.200 schools so now like you know here where i live there's a couple different places where you can
00:41:19.260 go and get a hillsdale college charter school education even at a public school and so they're
00:41:24.820 just they're just taking that well done course that's tried and true and they're putting it back
00:41:29.200 for the military people and and and there's and they're you know they they are their people their
00:41:35.000 critics get upset at things like oh it's too christian oh and it makes it makes islam look
00:41:40.040 like it's uh like it's a um you know warlike like in the crusades look like makes the crusades look
00:41:47.580 Like it wasn't, you know, both sides just fighting each other, that it was sort of prompted by Islam.
00:41:52.380 And there's things like that. But what what what Hanks has said clearly is that we just we need to get know who we are.
00:41:59.920 We have who we are taken from us and we need to get our culture back.
00:42:04.080 From the perspective of these cultural elites who hate everything about Christianity and hate everything unique about America,
00:42:12.660 OK, it's obviously appalling to them that people, people, you know, who are fighting the forces, American forces whose kids are being educated under this scheme.
00:42:23.220 It's absolutely really bad that people might have an idea that people that men and women in uniform going out to defend American interests abroad might actually be fighting for American interests abroad and for the American way of life.
00:42:40.420 That's absolutely terrible if people have a great appreciation of what that way of life is, where it comes from.
00:42:47.920 Because, of course, the secularists who are opposing this, they're saying, oh, look, there's too much confusion here between Western civilization and Christianity, and they're not totally synonymous with one another.
00:42:58.640 These are people who hate. It's basically simple as this.
00:43:02.860 They hate Christianity because they hate Jesus Christ. 0.54
00:43:05.600 They hate America because it was founded on Christian ideals. 0.78
00:43:09.300 they hate western civilization because it was founded um on christian precepts and ideals
00:43:16.900 ideas of christian culture that depend and the last thing they want these people having
00:43:23.140 successfully driven prayer from schools and all the rest of it the last thing they want
00:43:27.660 is people being taught well hang on these things aren't necessarily true there is a straight line
00:43:33.540 and to come back to jen's point earlier which sets this up pretty perfectly that when we talk about
00:43:39.480 the culture wars it's simply a polite term for spiritual warfare look um back to back to jenny
00:43:48.080 now in a moment for the closing minutes of the show quick shout out once again to our sponsors
00:43:53.200 of the show it's birch gold uh text i gave you the details before of exactly what's going on
00:43:59.920 Right now, $1.2 trillion per year being spent simply on servicing the national debt.
00:44:09.700 That's more than America spends on defence.
00:44:12.520 And that debt is going to be, in one way or another, inflated away.
00:44:17.580 So get your savings out of dollars into something that can resist.
00:44:21.660 And gold is the traditional hedge for that.
00:44:24.600 Speak to Philip Patrick and his team at text Bannon, B-A-N-N-O-N to 989898.

00:45:35.780 All right, Jenny Holland, you have been very keen to discuss with the War Room Posse this article that you saw in Compact Mag.
00:45:49.880 Because it answers the question that implicitly arises pretty much every Wednesday when we discuss the flood of young men, young Gen Z guys between 18 and 30, embracing an increasingly muscular Christianity.
00:46:10.500 What are the ladies doing? 0.60
00:46:12.440 What are the women doing? 1.00
00:46:13.180 What are Gen Z women doing?
00:46:14.320 This is the article that you spotted that goes somewhat to answer that question, raising at the beginning of the article the point that rather unusually in the present times, it's a reversal of the usual trend that it's normally women who are religious rather than guys.
00:46:35.220 And right now, at this moment in history, that's actually sort of pretty much inverted. It's the guys who are being increasingly offering leadership in the household on religious matters. And women are not doing so. This article goes into it. Tell us what are the findings?
00:46:51.980 Yeah, this is an absolutely fascinating article that I think we should maybe even return to at another time, because there are so many precious little pieces of information in this that we don't have time to hit them all.
00:47:08.020 So Georgina Mumford, a young English woman, wrote about her own sort of spiritual journey rejoining the Catholic Church and how she has set out to find the, as she calls it, the elusive female convert.
00:47:22.120 And she interviews a handful of women who just are providing such interesting insight into the things, the conditions that young women are living under today that drove these women away from sort of contemporary social and cultural and sexual mores back in or into the arms of the Catholic Church.
00:47:49.980 one of the women some of them were reverts some of them were entirely new converts
00:47:54.860 it's a bit of a mix and they're from various different places and they're all in their in
00:47:59.500 their 20s they're young women um one of them said something incredibly interesting which was
00:48:04.600 that she was living a very sort of liberated lifestyle as as we would euphemistically say
00:48:10.340 uh describe it and she felt uh enslaved and the interviewer actually sort of stops her and
00:48:17.200 doesn't quite understand what she means by that and assumes the interviewer assumes that she was
00:48:22.140 referring to a specific boyfriend who was maybe a controlling bad boyfriend and she said no no
00:48:26.760 i was enslaved to my passions and that really stopped me in my tracks because that is that is
00:48:34.840 a profound truth that uh christian uh christianity has always taught you even someone i who's like
00:48:44.260 me is very secular i have gleaned that messaging just from having a classical western liberal
00:48:50.080 education like a fairly old-fashioned education but you never ever ever hear that uh message any
00:48:57.220 longer young people get the opposite message which is follow your passion follow your bliss
00:49:01.660 center yourself women most especially and the woke cultural revolution i.e. spiritual warfare 0.51
00:49:09.960 has been most effective, I am sad to say, on women. It's almost as if it was perfectly designed 1.00
00:49:18.240 to hijack a lot of our natural good qualities, our empathy, our desire to collaborate, our desire to
00:49:25.520 help and nurture and improve things around us. All of those natural tendencies have been hijacked
00:49:31.400 in this vile, woke, spiritual attack. And these women are definitely in the minority because, 1.00
00:49:38.920 as it says, not women are leaving the church in greater numbers than they are joining it.
00:49:43.180 But these are a handful of very special, very perceptive young women who have pinpointed
00:49:49.520 exactly where modernity has failed them.
00:49:52.320 It has centered them too much.
00:49:54.600 It has given them too much freedom.
00:49:57.180 Again, completely counterintuitive in today's world.
00:50:00.360 Everything is about agency.
00:50:01.660 Everything is about choice.
00:50:03.060 Everything is about freedom.
00:50:04.240 Actually, that turns out to be a bad thing.
00:50:08.920 It's taken me to the age of 50 years old to actually really fully understand that for myself. 0.99
00:50:15.180 These young women have figured it out still in their 20s.
00:50:17.940 So whilst they might be small in number, there is hope down out there on the Internet and out there in real parishes.
00:50:27.580 There is hope where people are just picking up on the utter debasement of the kind of national conversation, the cultural conversation. 1.00
00:50:38.840 Idiots like that woman in Kansas or that stupid man in Texas who are saying these patently absurd things and sort of flaunting their own stupidity and women flaunting vulgarity and flaunting promiscuity and all of these things where decorum has been destroyed and denigrated. 1.00
00:50:55.800 And I think it is in our natures, many of us, it is just in our natures to want to claw some of that back. 1.00
00:51:03.060 And that seems to be happening.
00:51:04.840 jenny um you're absolutely right in everything you said including your opener you you are going
00:51:13.480 to have to come back to this article um and and hit this uh in more detail it is fascinating i
00:51:19.920 think there's a slightly augustinian flavor to this as well um and we can discuss that
00:51:25.780 as well um it's true that it's true that these are truths that really we are left to discover
00:51:33.620 But the historical truths of Christianity are truths we are being left to discover anew for ourselves
00:51:39.740 because we're certainly not being taught them by the institutional hierarchical church.
