Bannon's War Room - WarRoom Battleground EP 230： Zelensky Pledes Before Parliament; The Most Important First Amendment Case

00:00:00.000 this is what you're fighting for I mean every day you're out there what they're

00:00:18.180 doing is blowing people off if you continue to look the other way and shut

00:00:23.340 up then the oppressors the authoritarians get total control and total

00:00:27.800 power because this is just like in Arizona this is just like in Georgia it's another element that

00:00:34.040 backs them into a quarter and shows their lies and misrepresentations is why this audience is

00:00:38.480 gonna have to get engaged as we've told you this is the fight all this nonsense all this spin they

00:03:44.580 Come over here.

00:03:47.580 okay uh welcome wednesday uh 8 february year of our lord 2023 the second hour of our afternoon

00:04:04.740 early evening show of uh war room and there you see what tale of two cities or tale of two realities

00:04:10.900 uh zelinski in london making a pitch for more support more material more uh equipment and jets

00:04:18.060 and of course the grinding war that you see in eastern um in russian speaking eastern ukraine

00:04:23.800 in particular around um bakmut and these other towns i think there's 12 different locations

00:04:29.220 this broad front has reached out on other big developing news today about uh nordstrom 2 and

00:04:35.960 the the uh the um what i say the event that took it out seymour hirsch a pulitzer prize

00:04:43.000 where it came out with a major report today that's got people shocked so i've asked darren

00:04:47.120 beady and rebecca koffler to join us rebecca put it in perspective you've got this grinding

00:04:52.420 war like world war one that they said they had fought them to a standstill they're looking for

00:04:57.860 equipment to pivot for a spring offensive the ukrainians to liberate have combined on arms

00:05:04.660 warfare with tanks and with they need jets uh really advanced 21st century you know u.s military

00:05:11.420 stuff to liberate crimea but now all of a sudden the defense minister who i don't know if he's still

00:05:18.100 got a job doesn't have a job the italian papers report yesterday he's out others that he's on the

00:05:23.480 chopping block others that he's going to be there as long as this war takes place

00:05:26.740 um because of corruption and the new zero tolerance policy and you have zelinski in london

00:05:33.500 really making a huge effort i think even the he met with the king and and you know he's not getting

00:05:39.100 the jets but he's making a pitch again every time he sees somebody he needs the jets what what's going

00:05:45.480 on there i mean how did the defense minister miss then all of a sudden just reveal there's 500 000

00:05:50.580 either new troops or new conscripts it's tough to figure out what on the on from russia on the ukrainian

00:05:57.040 border what exactly tactically is going on right now well what's going on is that uh the russians

00:06:05.520 and ukrainians the two uh brother slavic nations are just annihilating each other in a brutal war 0.99

00:06:15.300 that is unwinnable we have a quarter of a million of slavic men uh child producing age young guys 1.00

00:06:26.260 that are basically you know like gladiators they are killing each other and uh this is absolutely

00:06:35.180 unacceptable because all that's going on is the fueling of this war by pumping in ukraine 1.00

00:06:43.960 uh with exquisite high-tech weaponry um let me just give you and and it's not going to lead

00:06:51.720 anyway because this war is unwinnable and i'll explain why it's unwinnable but let me just read to you

00:06:57.680 the long list of high-tech weaponry that ukraine has been the beneficiary of um it's the american-made

00:07:08.120 um military hardware um military hardware javelin a man portable anti-tank system stinger a lightweight

00:07:15.880 portable air defense system high mobility artillery rocket system high my patriot missile defense system

00:07:23.360 bradley's uh fighting vehicle and uh they um most uh recently it's the abrams tank right and now

00:07:34.780 zelensky is uh asking for f-16 but what the pentagon has forgotten is that weaponry and technology do not

00:07:44.380 win wars uh strategy does and this conflict has demonstrated to us to the entire world that the

00:07:52.140 white house and the pentagon lack strategy there's no de-escalation strategy there's no exit strategy

00:08:01.080 all that they've been doing is just pumping this weaponry we have already provided uh basically the

00:08:10.600 equivalent of half of ukraine's gdp a hundred billion dollars worth of equipment at this point

00:08:19.700 um this reminds me of afghanistan i mean remember we were told the very same narrative that victory

00:08:29.820 is just around the corner which is what zelensky keep you know telling us deceiving the american people

00:08:36.520 and yes he's desperate yes i understand his people are being brutally slaughtered but it's his complete

00:08:46.160 misunderstanding of uh and and rather lack of competence of the art of war you know san tzu told us

00:08:54.220 that you have to know your adversary and zelensky doesn't and neither does joel biden i mean look at

00:09:01.520 the russians they sacrificed more than 25 million of their own citizens in world war ii he's not about

00:09:09.900 to give up because what he's defending here uh or what rather he's facing is the equivalent of his

00:09:18.700 cuban missile crisis he's defending his i know to the western analysts it's russia is being the

00:09:29.240 aggressor and that is correct but from the russian standpoint he's defending his security perimeter

00:09:35.860 which has shrunk uh to 100 miles which is uh a shorter distance than between washington

00:09:43.180 and new york and so we would have never allowed this type of proximity of an adversarial force you

00:09:52.540 know whether it's russia china iran you name it and so and neither will putin and so what's happening

00:09:59.300 right now is the pentagon and the white house plus the liberal media are completely being enthralled

00:10:07.780 with this narrative that is coming out of the former actor and we are depleting our own weapons supply

00:10:16.800 it is no secret anymore and it's worrying the pentagon and some of these uh high-tech weaponry is going to

00:10:24.160 take as long as 18 years to restore the inventory and that is reckless because neither china nor russia 0.90

00:10:35.700 nor iran nor north korea are going to put their you know sinister plans on hold we just had the cia

00:10:43.940 director williams burns give us their intelligence assessment that china or xi jinping gave direction to his

00:10:53.940 military to prepare for a military assault on taiwan as soon as 2027 my own intelligence analysis

00:11:04.500 former dia intelligence officer uh tells me that this time is more likely um 2024 2025 most likely during

00:11:18.500 biden's presidency because all of our adversaries have assessed that this presidency is weak but on top of

00:11:27.620 that our own national security apparatus is unable to protect us from airspace attacks we just had a chinese 1.00

00:11:39.300 high altitude reconnaissance vehicle breach our sovereign airspace completely undetected right the four-star

00:11:50.340 commander general commander general von her who's in charge of no north com north uh northern combatant

00:11:58.900 command and norad which is northern airspace defense command the four-star told us that the reason that they

00:12:08.980 have missed this threat is because of the domain awareness gap are you kidding me 850 billion dollars in

00:12:19.780 defense budget and we can't defense our people our airspace from what effectively is a low-tech you know

00:12:27.860 dirigible uh sent to us by the chinese the balloon this is not a birthday party that we invited

00:12:37.060 xi jinping to let's get serious about the defense of our security and not just being you know taken for

00:12:46.420 fools by ukrainian you know act of volodymyr zelensky whose appetite keeps growing and growing i mean

00:12:54.420 where does this end we don't need another 20 years and um you know of entanglement into a foreign war that 0.97

00:13:03.140 is potentially going to go nuclear the the rand the rand corporation just came out of the study saying a

00:13:09.700 long war here goes against america's strategic interest so the question uh rebecca the new york 1.00

00:13:16.420 times all the people covering this on the ground you see at the battlefront whether it's baghmut or

00:13:22.260 these towns around baghmut to the east this is a grinding type of war like world war one and they're

00:13:27.860 being relentlessly shelled uh by the russians uh and and they're giving back as good as they can but

00:13:35.060 is anybody come forward to the uh to to to the american people or is zelinski coming forward

00:13:41.220 because when you look at this every day and and they're doing interviews with the troops are saying

00:13:46.100 we're out man we're out gun we don't really have the medical uh supplies here to take care of the

00:13:51.620 wounded we don't have a lot of food it's very cold uh people getting dispirited although they're

00:13:56.580 obviously fighting through their country and and they're and they're and they're enormously patriotic

00:14:00.500 how can anybody have a wishful fantasy about that army regrouping and doing a sophisticated combined

00:14:09.540 arms operation to liberate crimea in the spring isn't there just a mismatch with the reality on

00:14:15.460 the ground and what the narrative is being sold back here to the american people well the narrative

00:14:21.940 that's been sold here to the american people is a egregious distortion of reality i mean look if

00:14:30.100 ukraine were winning we wouldn't be needing to continue this relentless outflow of uh high-tech 0.61

00:14:39.860 weaponry you know top of the line uh out of our own arsenal right if that were the case so uh but

00:14:47.940 what's basically happening is that you know the strategy that's the biden administration has adopted

00:14:56.020 is um to use ukrainian in a highly immoral way right to to to use them as a shield for the europeans who

00:15:06.180 are unwilling to provide for their own security and to pay for that security and so we are effectively

00:15:14.500 throwing ukrainians 100 000 of them at this point you know killed or wounded we're throwing them into the 1.00

00:15:22.900 meat grinder and we're calling it a sound investment i mean these you know so-called experts right the

00:15:32.340 the washington uh national security uh talking heads uh no longer hiding the fact that they're using it as

00:15:41.860 an investment and himself two weeks ago he gave a speech to the chamber of commerce in

00:15:49.380 baratona florida where he spoke to um all the executives of major u.s and international investment

00:15:59.940 companies jp morgan morgan stanley and blackrock and instead of um framing it as he did before as the

00:16:09.620 fight for freedom and all these tear-jerker you know videos of maternity wards being blown up by the russians 0.98

00:16:17.860 he used these words uh steve this is an investment so he is being uh blatant about the fact that he's

00:16:27.300 using this was an investment and meantime his corrupt um corrupt officials uh raiding the treasury and

00:16:38.900 raiding all the weaponry and the cash that we've been pumping uh into ukraine you know courtesy of u.s

00:16:46.900 taxpayer we have people uh ourselves in our own country right now that are struggling to put food

00:16:54.020 on the table with inflation hitting us up and you know the food prices are skyrocketing and uh and the

00:17:01.140 gas prices and in the meantime the ukrainian oligarchs um um misusing all that in embezzling all

00:17:11.140 that security aid that we have been providing them and i wish i was surprised i mean ukraine ukraine

00:17:18.020 is the top corrupt country in europe this is not this is this is the fact you can look that up

00:17:24.580 igor kolomoisky who bankrolled zelensky's presidential campaign is on the no entry list

00:17:34.420 of u.s government again you can look that up on the state department's uh website why is he banned and

00:17:41.300 his entire family is because he's under multiple and multiple corruption investigations so this is just

00:17:49.620 showing us you know that the biden family is completely entangled with uh foreign adversaries

00:17:58.020 in a very you know uh corrupt deals i mean we can't escape that fact and until the american people

00:18:06.580 face that fact that they're ruled by the corrupt biden family that is using our funds our treasury

00:18:16.660 and potentially our lives i mean we sacrificed 6 000 lives 2.2 trillion dollars in afghanistan what kind

00:18:25.060 of investment is that and so now we're pumping all that weaponry that effective soon the american boys

00:18:31.940 and girls are going to be uh fighting in the battlefield uh in ukraine because ukraine you can't just train 1.00

00:18:38.500 on that weaponry years months and years so that's what we are stepping into yeah rebecca

00:18:47.060 what's your social media how do people get to your writings you're up on fox you're up in the new

00:18:50.180 york post you're a former uh dia defense intelligence uh agency official how do people get to you and

00:18:56.020 your content and how they get to your book putin's playbook thank you uh my website is rebecca koffler.com

00:19:04.020 i am on twitter getter and uh true social uh rebecca at zero one three two my book putin's playbook

00:19:13.860 is available on amazon and any other um bookstore or wherever you buy you guys buy books and in this

00:19:22.260 book i predicted uh the russian conflict is rapidly now escalating and potentially into a broader war

00:19:31.380 in europe um we war gamed it back at the defense intelligence agency and the united states is being

00:19:41.620 entangled right now uh into another foreign war with catastrophic consequences

00:19:48.180 rebecca thank you so much honor to have you on here look forward to having you back

00:19:53.540 rebecca koffler official uh thank thank you ma'am um darren beady uh with this breaking news today you

00:20:01.940 got an op-ed in the in the wall street journal tom cotton is is is is actually taking rebecca koffler's

00:20:08.180 line said it is an investment in fact we don't mind giving up all the weapon systems so we might as well

00:20:12.340 get rid of the old weapon systems so we buy new let's give all the old stuff to ukraine let them 1.00

00:20:17.060 use it and then you've got this pulitzer prize winning the muckraker cy hirsch that looks like

00:20:23.540 there was something much more nefarious going on the start of this war can you put it in context given

00:20:27.700 the fact that every day we're trying to play this footage that what's really happening on the ground

00:20:32.820 in eastern ukraine which is just this brutal world war ii type of you know you you shell you kill 0.99

00:20:39.940 people and you take it yard by yard and then take it back inch by inch darren beady well thank you

00:20:46.820 and i guess it's fortuitous that i'm on um having the opportunity to follow your previous guest

00:20:53.140 who with all due respect i need to put the previous guest back in context because

00:20:59.540 months ago when nordstream was attacked you'll recall a very famous segment in which

00:21:06.340 jack the great the great jack was on i was on and the esteemed um miss koffler was also on and we

00:21:15.060 discussed nordstream and jack jack and i simply followed common sense that whatever was responsible

00:21:22.420 for nordstream 2 it's extremely unlikely that russia did it because they have nothing to gain from it

00:21:29.300 in fact they have everything to lose from it and miss koffler for whatever reason without giving any kind

00:21:35.860 of convincing argument maintained very emphatically that russia is to blame for blowing up its own pipeline

00:21:43.700 so i'd be very curious what her position is now in light of the reporting by seymour hirsch was his

00:21:50.500 reporting simply false has she come up with any logical explanation as to why by the way by the way it could

00:21:57.860 it could it it it could be it could be uh it could be russian disinformation i mean we haven't actually

00:22:04.900 seen hirsch has put some something forward that is very controversial right he's put forward a a well

00:22:11.700 thought through not just so some navy guys got an idea and went and did it but he puts forward a complete

00:22:17.940 plot led by kind of jake sullivan months before the uh months before the war actually started i think his

00:22:25.140 first meeting according to cy hirsch takes place in december of 2021 um and so that's right that's

00:22:31.700 right i mean the hirsch the hirsch position is a pretty explosive one i mean i think you know you

00:22:39.140 don't have to go as far as seymour hirsch to understand no no no no no no hang on hold it it's

00:22:44.500 not pretty it's not hang on it's not pretty explosive it's massively explosive i'm not saying it's right or

00:22:50.820 wrong but but hold it in in in see but seymour hirsch what seymour hirsch lays out is that the

00:22:58.420 united states essentially committed an act of war prior to really the combatants getting uh getting

00:23:05.380 at each other in february of 22 and in fact we know from the israeli foreign minister that it looks

00:23:12.500 like putin and zelinski according to him wanted to have a ceasefire didn't want to really go forward

00:23:17.780 but the americans drove this if you add that to what cy hirsch is saying i mean you tell me 0.93

00:23:23.860 you're you're you're you're the phd genius i'm just some stupid mick you tell me it's a if cy hirsch 0.94

00:23:30.820 is right is that an act of war or not well but i don't want to get distracted like what cy hirsch 0.98

00:23:37.380 is saying is something that again is extreme because it's not simply what seemed to be logical which

00:23:45.140 was that it was some proxy operating with the tacit blessing of the united states the koffler position

00:23:52.020 never had any logical support which is that russia did it and i'd be interested in if she's revised

00:23:58.180 this position in light of recent reporting what hirsch is doing is he's taking it a step farther and

00:24:03.940 saying it's not simply some kind of proxy acting with the kind of tacit blessing of the u.s but it's

00:24:10.820 actually you know the u.s navy was involved in doing it and the planning had been conducted before

00:24:18.260 the invasion even took place which is obviously far more extreme and explosive but it has enough

00:24:25.940 plausibility that i think it warrants closer examination due to the states no no no i i i i i

00:24:33.060 totally agree with you one thousand percent but i want to take it deeper it's not just that the u.s navy

00:24:37.860 was involved but jake he basically says jake sullivan convened a meeting this is the president's

00:24:44.900 national security advisor so this came at the direction had to come at the direction of biden

00:24:50.980 and the senior not just that at this level would have to come from the very top right but they also

00:24:58.740 but also according to her according hang on according to hirsch they actually chose the navy divers

00:25:04.100 because being not part of special warfare command or they wouldn't have to find a presidential

00:25:10.500 finding and actually go to the gang of eight and explain this before you did a covert action

00:25:14.580 that this was thought through according to hirsch from the highest levels of the u.s government

00:25:19.220 to game the system that they then could do a full-out attack to take out north stream too and of course his

00:25:25.540 implication follows your analysis by the anonymous wall street financier about the u.s dollar that

00:25:32.740 this was all done to guarantee uh the the the dollars of prime reserve currency or essentially

00:25:38.420 the petrodollar so this was as well thought through and quite frankly probably more thought through than

00:25:43.940 the biden administration certainly it's not their afghanistan withdrawal you would agree

00:25:48.020 no i mean i i don't know about the petrodollar but it's certainly done to reassert total hegemony

00:25:56.820 and control over the geopolitical affairs of of europe and it was saying in this this morning segment an

00:26:04.100 under explored dynamic of this conflict is just how much we've fully domesticated and tamed europe the

00:26:14.500 idea that europe is somehow like benefits from this or you know no this is the us is in the driver's

00:26:21.940 seat more than we could have ever imagined but again i would i would really like to know if if the

00:26:28.260 previous guest maintains her strange position that you know it's one thing to question it's not

00:26:35.220 we should but does she maintain this position that russia is responsible for attacking its own pipeline

00:31:42.500 war room battleground with stephen k bannon

00:31:47.300 okay welcome back we have uh the founder and publisher of uh revolver with has been all over

00:31:53.060 the story from the beginning if uh what cy hirsch is saying is true and it checks out and i think

00:31:59.140 the only way it's going to be able to check out you got to have hearings on this right away

00:32:02.900 is uh that jake sullivan conceived of this sometime in the fall or over the holiday season of 2021

00:32:10.980 which would have been a month let's say two months before hostilities actually broke out in ukraine

00:32:16.420 and that this thing was then executed later i think in september of 22 correct uh if if this had

00:32:23.540 happened what um is this do you believe an act of war by the united states government against russia sir

00:32:33.060 well you know it's a funny thing because ultimately it's only an act of war if the aggrieved

00:32:39.220 party decides it is but i think we could reformulate the questions to say if somebody did this to us

00:32:46.260 would we think of it as an act of war and i'd say the answer is an unambiguous yes and furthermore

00:32:52.740 under these terms it wouldn't just be a war against an act of war against russia it would be an act of

00:32:58.340 war against germany because remember the nordstrom too was a critical element of um you know germany's

00:33:07.380 economic plan they had just as much invested in the nordstrom pipeline as russia it was a critical

00:33:15.060 piece of german infrastructure as much as everything else and that's why i say is you know of course in

00:33:22.180 certain sense the story is about russia but there's another really fascinating and important story which

00:33:27.540 is about us relationships with europe with europe and germany specifically we destroyed either ourselves

00:33:35.220 if hirsch is right or operating through a proxy otherwise russia didn't do this i'm sorry we did

00:33:42.260 it either directly or indirectly and we destroyed a critical piece of german infrastructure and and you

00:33:48.820 know the europeans have this kind of squeamish way of speaking between the lines and what they've done is

00:33:56.500 they've conducted various investigations the scandinavian countries had and they said we found no

00:34:02.020 evidence that russia is responsible for this which is effectively means that either the us or its

00:34:09.380 proxies did it um seymour hirsch gives a particularly explosive case of how it may have happened we can't be

00:34:18.020 sure whether it's true or not it looks like he has just one source and we don't know but the allegations

00:34:24.100 are important enough the stakes are high enough that this absolutely warrants further investigation and i fear

00:34:30.740 that you know we're talking about this on the war room because the war room is where you talk about

00:34:36.180 things that actually matter but as far as the you know the cable news you know for for the for the

00:34:42.100 mindless cattle um i don't know if anyone on cable news is going to talk about this other than

00:34:48.260 tucker carlson which means that it won't reach the level of scrutiny that it really deserves given the

00:34:54.660 seriousness and what's at stake in the story

00:35:00.100 tucker and war room and yourself and all of us on this anti-war um right uh we punch way above our

00:35:07.140 weight what would be your recommendation because obviously a lot of people not just focus on these

00:35:10.900 shows but it has a lot of throw weight now that we've shifted the overton window away from the kind

00:35:16.420 of the tom cotton mike pompeo both guys i really admire but on this one are just dead wrong um what would

00:35:23.780 be your recommendation what has to happen i want to tie that into biden's say the union last night

00:35:29.780 was a little half-hearted about ukraine yes certainly had the the um you had the um the

00:35:35.300 ambassador take a bow but there wasn't 10 minutes about ukraine that he wanted to get in and out of

00:35:40.820 the ukraine part as fast as possible what is your assessment given this explosive allegation

00:35:45.700 zelinski's in london begging for jets all the polling in the country saying the american people

00:35:50.980 are are starting to question this now obviously in europe they're really starting to question that's

00:35:55.940 why he's not going to italy italy just canceled zelinski's appearance at this music festival to

00:36:01.700 give his rah-rah pitch where do you think we stand on this since you've tracked it probably more closely

00:36:06.020 than anybody since day one well as far as biden's speech goes i think it's fair to say just generally

00:36:12.980 speaking people don't really care about foreign policy relative to other issues at the retail level

00:36:19.540 um biden had some you know bungling as is to be expected but i have to say you know frankly overall

00:36:26.660 i don't think his speech was particularly disastrous i think it hit all the you know the points that he

00:36:32.820 needed to hit and it was politically intelligent of him to spend as little time as possible on ukraine

00:36:38.980 because they understand that it's just not what sells um at the retail level in some ways they're

00:36:45.540 you know the only politician on our side who understands what sells at the retail level

00:36:50.740 is donald trump you know other than that the republicans seem to be largely tone deaf and

00:36:56.180 that's reflected in these sort of neocons in drag like uh like tom cotton and others um but i think

00:37:04.900 overall uh biden's speech unfortunately uh was kind of a net positive for him and he cleverly disguised

00:37:15.060 himself almost as a kind of you know uh populist in a way and then he'll go on to govern in the way

00:37:21.220 that we've all seen with the disastrous effects that we've seen so far uh what is your assessment of uh

00:37:29.540 next moves before we've got two other big stories you're covering we want to get to we get some cold

00:37:33.140 opens for you what uh what's your assessment right now in ukraine particularly but they're talking

00:37:38.100 about a massive spring offensive to liberate crimea but it looks like they're they're being ground into

00:37:45.620 dust in cities like bakhmud and the civilians are taking it every bit as badly uh the incoming from 1.00

00:37:51.940 this new looks like reinvigorated with conscripts russian army uh pounding away adam 24 7 sir

00:37:58.740 well i mean the whole thing is just such a disaster and we're on autopilot it's not clear

00:38:05.460 that we have any particular strategic objective we have you know obsessives like victoria newland who 1.00

00:38:13.860 figures prominently in the hirsch narrative as someone who is one of the key proponents of blowing up 1.00

00:38:21.380 nordstrom we have people like that who are russia obsessives at the helm with no consideration for any kind

00:38:28.420 of larger geopolitical or strategic objectives here and you have various special interest groups that

00:38:35.140 are feeding at the coffer like you know the defense industry and so forth and you have various oligarchs

00:38:40.740 benefiting but there's no grand vision behind it and so it's hard to see like even if individual

00:38:47.940 persons within the decision making mechanism understand that this needs to come to an end there's so many

00:38:55.860 competing parties with so many competing interests and a lot of inertia negatively um uh at at the

00:39:03.460 moment that it's hard to see where a real course correction would come from and so i think we're just

00:39:10.020 sort of going to bungle along in the same trajectory and just uh and just hope it works somehow

00:39:19.700 uh let's go to um let's go to let's play the cold open i want to start with the with the christian

00:39:24.740 story first and then we're going to go to this blockbuster about uh this unbelievable story about

00:39:29.300 hillary clinton go ahead and play uh the cold open for this segment there was this controversial figure 0.98

00:39:36.580 everywhere he went people challenged him they questioned his ideology trolled him called him ugly

00:39:43.620 names but he never took the bait never raised his voice refused to retaliate because he believed he could

00:39:52.180 change the world by turning the other cheek

00:40:05.460 there are a number of those very well very striking and black and white super professionally made and

00:40:11.940 i'm talking playing in prime time on national football league games that the playoff games which

00:40:17.060 is the the most expensive territory you can buy in media right now uh and and most of these

00:40:23.700 have a very decided left-wing slant to them uh there's one about uh about uh being a refugee there's

00:40:30.020 other about uh about i think uh lgbtq all these questions these you've uncovered what what is this that

00:40:37.700 these are these are ads promoting christianity supported by some of the biggest names in the conservative

00:40:43.220 movement like kabby lobby what's going on here yeah it's very bizarre and it's really kind of

00:40:49.220 treacherous it seems to me you know i am somewhat you know uh reluctant to fully analyze simply because

00:40:59.380 i'm not you know i'm not a christian so i wouldn't presume to say what you know what christianity

00:41:06.180 should mean or anything like that but it certainly seems that you have groups with some type of

00:41:12.020 cultural purchase on the christian right um using people's sincere religious beliefs against them

00:41:21.140 as a propaganda tool to shove um globalist and left-wing agendas and talking points down and this kind of

00:41:29.780 uh you know manipulative use of saying oh you know you know jesus would love all refugees and

00:41:37.140 by implication you're not a good christian if you don't like open borders um which again i would suspect

00:41:44.740 is theologically unsound although i would you know encourage you to have a religious authority to

00:41:52.100 fully explicate that but i can say with confidence that it's extremely deceptive on the part of hobby lobby

00:41:58.820 because again it's it was it would be one thing if it's coming from manifestly and conspicuously

00:42:06.180 left-wing groups we can just discount it accordingly but when organizations or people with cultural

00:42:14.580 purchase and trust on the right use people's beliefs in this case religious beliefs in order to manipulate

00:42:23.140 them into accepting um an agenda that is bad for them bad for the country and has nothing to do with

00:42:31.540 these religious beliefs is really sinister and really nefarious and of course to play it on nfl

00:42:38.500 you know time just shows how much contempt the system has for these people they're thinking 1.00

00:42:43.540 look at the dumb cattle watching their dumb cattle game let's shove this message down their throat and 0.99

00:42:49.620 they won't know any better but i think people do know better they do know when they're being 0.99

00:42:54.100 manipulated and i was very glad to highlight this recent and really egregious case um on revolver.news

00:43:04.100 how did this how did the story come across how did you see the story i'd notice it was

00:43:08.580 it was um uh pretty shocking because the ads are almost like hollywood type quality ads plus it's prime

00:43:17.220 time you could tell very expensively made and in the most expensive time we actually tried to track

00:43:22.260 down who would put the money up but it was quite obscure to do it how did you how did it come across

00:43:27.700 your desk you know we have source source aggregation and it was a story i think it had some traction on

00:43:35.940 social media and so forth and again i think it's one of those things where you know i i don't know if

00:43:42.420 you were following this but it was one of these things where everyone was up in arms because there

00:43:46.820 was some grammy performance that was you know allegedly like you know someone dressed up as

00:43:52.820 satan and people were up in arms about it but you know this is coming from the grammys it's you know

00:43:57.700 silly celebrity stuff but here again i think it's so much more sinister when the people promoting these

00:44:05.060 things are people that have gained the trust of people who are on the right and in this case on the

00:44:13.380 religious right who organization like hobby lobby that may have had their trust is using that trust

00:44:20.580 against them and using their own sincere religious beliefs against them in order to promote a very

00:44:26.820 very devious and insidious political agenda so you're absolutely right i think this warrants further

00:44:32.660 investigation let's find out where the money comes from let's find out the full story behind this how did

00:44:38.340 they get to hobby lobby what's actually going on here what kind of deals were cut in order for these

00:44:44.420 absolutely high quality production videos to be played um you know during nfl prime time while

00:44:51.300 people are watching the game and therefore at their in some ways people are at their most vulnerable when

00:44:56.820 they're engaging in sort of entertainment stuff like watching the game the mind made the defensive

00:45:03.620 critical faculties of the mind dissolve because you're just in relaxation mode

00:45:09.780 well here's and here's why it's so striking because

00:45:13.860 for those games you know pre-super bowl for those games you have the consumer products thing

00:45:20.020 just repeating the most basic commercials you've seen it's just repetition right and they're pretty

00:45:25.060 mindless this is actually where it very well thought through it's interesting just right in the

00:45:30.020 middle of this massive debate we have on the invasion of our country and they start off the

00:45:33.540 hearing yesterday uh at on the dhs and and the very first uh comment by the minority uh the democrats

00:45:41.620 and i think the ranking member or one of the leading members on the minority democratic side

00:45:46.420 says this whole hearing is going to be about white nationalism and white supremacy because these

00:45:51.860 guys are calling it the invasion of our border right and to have that spot that's so striking and 0.98

00:45:56.820 sticks out from all the other crap commercials and it's and they're repeated but different elements 0.55

00:46:02.340 of it one of them is about you know jesus as a refugee which you don't get to the punchline to the end 0.87

00:46:07.700 uh just in the very moment that you're having this huge debate about migrants and about what it is about

00:46:14.180 national sovereignty and all that is is insidious truly insidious particularly when you see the people

00:46:19.940 in the back of it we i got about six minutes and i gotta get to this other story because people's heads

00:46:24.980 will blow up um i don't think we have a cold open for talk to us about the talk to us about the hillary 0.98

00:46:30.340 clinton uh is a guy that's done memes on hillary clinton i think this came from a couple years ago in the 16 campaign

00:46:36.660 he's facing 10 years in prison no i mean i wish we had more time because this really is the most

00:46:41.860 important story it's the most important first amendment story you've never heard of and just in a nutshell

00:46:49.140 a young man called douglas mackie who was allegedly operating with a pseudonymous twitter account

00:46:55.780 called ricky vaughn named after the major league character this account ricky vaughn mit did a study

00:47:03.460 on the most influential um media accounts and his humble twitter account this anonymous young guy

00:47:11.460 in in new york um he was more influential than cbs according to and all other you know other mainstream

00:47:20.820 outlets according to this mit study so it was a spectacularly influential um account and it dabbled

00:47:29.220 in memes some hilarious some controversial some both hilarious and controversial and among those memes

00:47:39.060 there's sort of a meme format in existence kind of implicitly mocking the intelligence of hillary and 1.00

00:47:46.580 hillary supporters and so one of his meme was oh you know if you want to vote just text hillary to this 0.97

00:47:53.780 number you know with the suggestion that hillary supporters are so dumb they're the types of people 0.97

00:47:58.740 who would believe this it was clearly satirical in nature and had a satirical format the government 0.97

00:48:06.100 that's trying to throw this guy in jail for 10 years has not been able to produce a single example of

00:48:13.540 somebody who didn't vote as a result of this meme and they're resurrecting this statute that was designed

00:48:22.500 you know the statutes designed to prevent the ku klux klan from intimidating voters from going to the polls and

00:48:30.020 they're saying that sat meme satire on twitter is equivalent to that um it's a deeply disturbing case

00:48:39.620 and what it amounts to is the biden regime trying to codify the disinformation scam into our criminal law

00:48:48.180 such that disinformation no longer only becomes a pretext to censor someone it becomes a pretext to

00:48:56.260 actually put them in jail and the case of this young man who dared to mock hillary clinton um

00:49:03.780 to put him in jail for 10 years hold it hold it hang on oh hang on you would hope they were shifted

00:49:11.700 tens of thousands and hundreds of thousands of votes that's right under what law are they going 0.97

00:49:16.500 after a guy for making fun of somebody that's pure political discourse i mean i made fun of all the time

00:49:22.340 trump's made fun of all the time that's part of the the currency of politics well how are they even

00:49:27.380 going what did they charge the guy with well remember there's there's this statute that again

00:49:32.260 was originally designed to prevent the ku klux klan from intimidating african americans from being able

00:49:39.060 to vote at the polls but and they're saying that well this was an intimidation but it was a kind of

00:49:46.580 deception because people are going to think it's real and they're going to text hillary instead of going

00:49:51.700 to vote even though as i mentioned they haven't been able to produce a single aggrieved party that

00:49:58.100 didn't vote as a result of this satirical meme so the whole premise is ridiculous it's a complete

00:50:05.620 stretch it's an innovation in criminal law and again what it's trying to do is to codify the

00:50:12.740 disinformation scam which steve you and i have been talking about for a while which is the

00:50:18.500 censorship predicate du jour favored by the national security community but again they're trying to

00:50:24.500 expand it such that you're not just going to be censored and de-platformed for disinformation

00:50:30.260 you're going to be thrown in jail which when you think about it is kind of the ultimate de-platforming

00:50:36.180 and in the case of this uh young man he faces 10 years which is absolutely insane you know there are

00:50:43.060 murderers who don't go to jail for 10 years hunter is not going to spend a single day like you know

00:50:48.900 it's it's it's really a terrifying innovation i think every american who cares about the role of

00:50:56.100 free speech in our deliberative um democratic process needs to take this case very seriously

00:51:03.700 and there is a legal defense fund for this young guy it's memedefensefund.com so if people

00:51:10.340 are interested they could support uh support the legal effort at that website memedefensefund.com

00:51:18.420 um darren how do we uh how does everybody get to you on social media and how they get to revolver
