00:00:53.380 According to two sources with direct knowledge,
00:00:56.480 the Energy Department says it has, quote,
00:00:58.640 low confidence that the virus likely originated from a lab leak in Wuhan, China.
00:01:06.740 However, it believes COVID was not the result of a man-made bioweapon.
00:01:13.020 The Wall Street Journal was the first to report in this classified intelligence report
00:01:16.700 recently given to the White House and key members of the Congress yesterday.
00:01:20.540 National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan was asked about this development.
00:01:24.080 Did the coronavirus pandemic start in a lab?
00:01:29.140 Is that what you believe now?
00:01:32.340 Well, Dana, there is a variety of views in the intelligence community.
00:01:36.080 Some elements of the intelligence community have reached conclusions on one side,
00:01:39.620 some on the other.
00:01:40.520 A number of them have said they just don't have enough information to be sure.
00:01:44.560 Here's what I can tell you.
00:01:45.820 President Biden has directed repeatedly every element of our intelligence community to put
00:01:51.500 effort and resources behind getting to the bottom of this question.
00:01:54.660 And one of the things in that Wall Street Journal report, which I can't confirm or deny,
00:02:00.100 but I will say the reference to the Department of Energy, President Biden specifically requested
00:02:05.360 that the national labs, which are part of the Department of Energy,
00:02:09.140 be brought into this assessment because he wants to put every tool at use to be able to figure out
00:02:16.540 what happened here. And if we gain any further insider information, we will share it with Congress
00:02:22.060 and we will share it with the American people. But right now, there is not a definitive answer
00:02:27.060 that has emerged from the intelligence community on this question.
00:02:30.480 A source tells NBC News the report is, quote,
00:02:34.580 not being viewed as hugely significant among the intelligence community due to interagency
00:02:40.080 disagreements about COVID's origins. In a statement sent to NBC, the Department of Energy says
00:02:46.640 it continues to support the thorough, careful and objective work of our intelligence professionals
00:02:53.520 in investigating the origins of COVID-19. As the president directed, China has denied that COVID
00:03:00.840 originated from a lab leak and called on all sides to stop politicizing the issue. Meanwhile,
00:03:07.340 House Republicans have kicked off their own investigations into the origins of the pandemic.
00:03:12.480 A spokesperson for the Oversight Committee said the committee is, quote,
00:03:16.300 reviewing the classified information provided.
00:03:20.280 Well, you know, this has been an ongoing debate for some time. There was
00:03:25.040 the Energy Department saying they have low confidence, but think that it may be a lab leak.
00:03:31.380 And Jim, you've had other intel agencies. This is Tommy Vitor.
00:03:35.260 Foreign intel agencies think COVID spread naturally. The DOE thinks the lab leak
00:03:40.480 with low confidence. FBI thinks lab leak with moderate confidence. None think it was part of
00:03:46.240 a Chinese bioweapon program. And he's saying hope the DNI will release what info it can soon.
00:03:53.940 This is something, though, and we've said it here. I remember Tom Cotton got attacked by some newspaper.
00:04:00.240 I forget it. Maybe it was the Times. I forget who it was for talking about the possibility of a lab
00:04:05.460 leak. And we said on the show, we don't know. Maybe it was. Maybe it wasn't. The problem here is
00:04:11.060 the Chinese. And you can talk to Matt Pottinger about this. If anybody has any questions,
00:04:16.460 the Chinese haven't been cooperating since December of 2019.
00:04:21.460 Everything is politics. So it's really hard to get to the bottom of it.
00:04:26.120 Right. That's exactly the problem. I mean, there was a report back in 2021, Joe, where
00:04:30.940 the same intelligence agencies had similar conclusions. What is new, as you just noted,
00:04:36.260 is the Department of Energy, because they have the national labs, because President Biden asked them
00:04:41.900 to use all of their resources to look into it, did conclude with low confidence. But the FBI
00:04:47.280 has had moderate confidence back in 2021 and still has that today. So not a ton has changed.
00:04:55.280 The reason, as you just alluded to, is because the Chinese are not providing data. And it originated
00:05:01.440 there. And the WHO, the World Health Organization, has asked them to do that. The Biden administration,
00:05:07.740 countless European countries. And until they do that, and I doubt they ever will at this point,
00:05:12.960 it will be very difficult, even for the intelligence agencies in the United States or any other country,
00:05:18.480 to have a real conclusion of what the origin is here. So Congress member Gooden's comments
00:05:25.040 questioning my loyalty to the U.S. is absolutely outrageous and disgusting. It's based on false
00:05:32.340 information spread by an extreme right wing website. But furthermore, it's racist. I very much doubt that
00:05:39.260 he'd be spreading these lies, were I not of Chinese American descent. In my opinion, it's McCarthyism
00:05:45.180 at its worst. And it's downright dangerous. Making ugly and false accusations like this puts a target
00:05:53.380 on my back for something that is not true. And in fact, it just perpetuates the stereotype that Asian
00:06:00.300 Americans are foreigners in their own land, no matter how many generations they've been in this country
00:06:05.820 or are like me and were born and raised in this country. But we have to look at where this is
00:06:10.740 coming from. Congress member Gooden appears to sympathize with violent insurrectionists and spreads
00:06:16.200 big lies to the American people, having voted not to certify the election of President Biden.
00:06:22.500 And in fact, it's one of those extreme MAGA Republicans in the House that are focused on
00:06:26.540 baseless conspiracy theories.

00:07:57.400 are all the time worried about the legitimacy and worried about questions of the legitimacy.

00:08:58.720 pandemic. When we flipped the show from impeachment pandemic, we laid out the case for the bioweapons
00:09:03.300 lab. Wuhan was center of PLA military. It was the health center for the PLA since 1949 and even
00:09:11.660 before then. Wuhan is certainly a biolab, certainly is the reason they wanted to go make it a level
00:09:19.820 four lab. And Fauci and these guys were all collaborators, all working with them. And they're
00:09:26.100 doing gain of function or directed evolution or weaponization, whatever you want to call it.

00:09:45.760 took place in the first couple of weeks of February of 2020. And no, Joe Scarborough, you're a bald-faced
00:09:51.040 liar. The paper was the Washington Post and you covered every day for what happened in Wuhan. So
00:09:57.180 don't sit there now as all of a sudden the stones are being unturned and the cockroaches are running

00:12:50.380 that they agree that there's a possibility, they have low confidence, but there's a possibility that
00:12:55.560 it came from, the COVID virus came from a biowarfare laboratory in Wuhan. And by the way, Steve, I just want

00:13:35.780 the reason we did this study was one of the people who works for Joe Biden, a former West exec
00:13:43.580 figure, Averill Haynes, is the director of central intelligence. West exec is an outfit that was doing
00:13:51.200 business with the Chinese Communist Party, with Tony Blinken and others.

00:17:54.180 charge. And worse, if it could be considered worse, Mao Zedong. And we put Mao Zedong there.

00:18:16.920 lawyers on there and he was just as tough. And another guy who backed him up was Jack Kennedy.
00:18:21.400 That's when the vote came to censure McCarthy. Jack Kennedy had a bad back that day and couldn't
00:18:25.400 make the vote. His old man said, you're not going to censure McCarthy. You want to be president of
00:18:28.940 the United States. And everybody in the United States, everybody around knows that the place
00:18:32.260 is infiltrated with communists. Let me bring in Trevor now. Trevor Loudon is the world's expert on
00:18:37.580 this. Trevor gave me this lecture 12 years ago. And it's so overwhelming as almost to be
00:18:43.460 unbelievable. But Trevor Loudon has been right about every topic on this he's brought up.

00:19:46.580 we're going for the Americans. We're going for the Americans that are back in this playoff.
00:19:50.500 And Judy Chu is an American. She was born here. She's a Chinese American. But hey, I founded the
00:19:56.080 organization that is essentially the government in opposition trying to take down the CCP. You're
00:20:00.360 not going to run the racist trap on us. That is nonsense. Tell me about Judy Chu, though. How
00:20:05.460 questionable is she in her judgment and her loyalty, sir?
00:20:10.580 Well, Judy Chu spent many years in the Maoist student movement. She spent about 20 years actively
00:20:17.840 involved with people in the Communist Workers' Party, which was a pro-Chinese, pro-North Korean
00:20:25.120 militant party. They dissolved in the late 80s. They moved into the Democratic Party. But Judy Chu
00:20:32.880 continued to work with those people like Kent Wong, like Gene Kwan, like Jose Calderon, right up to the
00:20:41.500 present day. She is also involved with the Committee of 100, which is, I would say, the leading Chinese
00:20:51.220 influence operation in the country, directly linked to the Communist Party of China's international work
00:20:59.980 front. It's the main propaganda front, the main influence operation front of the Communist Party
00:21:07.600 of China. She has used that position to defend several Chinese spies in this country. She's used
00:21:15.040 that position to go after alleged racism in the military, sexism in the military. You know, I know
00:21:23.360 people in journalism in Southern California who have worked for the Chinese press, the Communist Chinese
00:21:31.520 press. And she is regarded in Southern California by the Chinese community as China's representative
00:21:38.960 in Southern California. If they want to know what the CCP is thinking, they listen to Judy Chu. She calls
00:21:47.840 the shots. She has no loyalty to America. Her loyalty has always been to China. She went to China not long
00:21:55.680 ago and said, I'm coming home. You know, she was had a little CCP flag right next to her. She has been
00:22:03.040 intimately involved with the Communist Party of China since she was a teenager, and she still is. She's
00:22:10.080 absolutely no, there's no way she should be trusted at all. The CCP, what they tried, that's why they got the
00:22:18.480 police stations. Their whole thing is to harass, harass and threaten people who escaped from mainland
00:22:25.600 China or people who have been here for several generations of actually coming forward and putting
00:22:29.440 up a take down the CCP movement. This is one of the reasons they infiltrated so many of the groups
00:22:33.840 out of Tiananmen Square. It's the reason the Tiananmen Square movement kind of died out. The CCP has,
00:22:38.880 and they intimidate, this is the police stations, they're watching you in the neighborhoods.
00:22:42.800 This is what, it's not, we're protecting the Chinese and Chinese Americans, and particularly
00:22:48.640 people who left the mainland. The CCP is brutal and going after them. Tell me about, Judy Chu,
00:22:55.120 when you say that she's kind of the mouthpiece for the CCP, and the journalists in Southern California
00:22:59.920 say, hey, if we want to know what the CCP's latest line of thought is, we listen to Judy. What do you
00:23:05.920 mean by that? Well, look, I've talked to journalists who work for Chinese publications in Southern
00:23:12.240 California have been to many meetings, and she was regarded by the Chinese community in Southern
00:23:18.400 California as the Communist Party of China's mouthpiece. She is like the governor of Southern
00:23:25.680 California over that community. Much like the late Rose Pack was the sort of CCP's mouthpiece,
00:23:34.000 the guardian of CCP's influence in San Francisco, Judy Chu fulfills the same role in Southern California.
00:23:42.240 She is completely, you know, her whole communist background brings her to be basically a mouthpiece
00:23:50.560 for the CCP. Trevor, talk to us about, tell the audience about United Front. Talk about groups
00:23:56.400 like Comedian One, because they have all these different front groups, and they get these great
00:24:00.080 names, like they're helping people out, all that. Talk about how they infiltrate, not just the American
00:24:06.400 side of it, or the non-Chinese side, but really how they use the Chinese here, and they do it under
00:24:12.720 threats to have this kind of united front to propagate their rule in Beijing.
00:24:19.680 Well, that's right. So they have a huge Chinese diaspora around the world, you know, several
00:24:24.320 hundred thousand in Southern California alone. And they're involved in business and academia and
00:24:29.920 politics. And when they get to a critical mass, these Chinese Americans can affect local elections,
00:24:38.640 and they can set up power bases, as they did in San Francisco, as they have in parts of Southern
00:24:44.160 California. Then they are used to elect candidates like Judy Chu, who basically run these fiefdoms.
00:24:52.480 And so through the Committee of 100 to the Chinese Progressive Association in San Francisco,
00:24:58.640 the Chinese Communist Party directly influences the politics of whole regions of the United States.
00:25:07.520 Started in San Francisco, you see a lot of it in New York now, you see a lot of it in Massachusetts and
00:25:13.520 Boston, and a lot of it in Southern California. So the International Work Department is co-opting
00:25:21.280 businessmen, it's intimidating people, it's setting up little front groups, little Chinese CCP rara groups,
00:25:30.480 and it's intimidating anybody who supports Taiwan, intimidating the Falun Gong people,
00:25:37.360 anybody who's opposed to the CCP. They use their thugs, they use their businesses,
00:25:44.560 they use their local politicians to harass and shut these people down.
00:25:49.520 And it's gone way beyond the Chinese community now. You know, you see people like Dianne Feinstein are
00:25:55.680 certainly under the influence of this kind of thing, Senator Dianne Feinstein, but also Adam Schiff,

00:37:47.520 Chinese Communist Party, which is killing upwards of 70,000 Americans a year.
00:37:52.140 But it is that co-opting of America's financial class, its business class, who think they absolutely
00:37:58.860 have to be in China.
00:38:00.540 And that has caused, you know, really America to back off and really to let China have a
00:38:07.400 free, really a free run.

00:38:11.480 Well, I'd say go down any of the Wall Street firms.
00:38:14.060 And, you know, I've been reading their analysis for 20 years, and you probably have too.
00:38:19.280 And the number of times I have any heard anyone say, you know, investing money into a country
00:38:24.880 that doesn't have a legal system, where a contract means exactly what the dictator says.

00:38:32.460 Its intention is to put foreign businesses, American businesses out of business, and have

00:38:44.120 When you get people, these proxies who think what they are doing makes sense, and that it's
00:38:49.220 statesmanlike, and that it's in America's interest, you've really hit a grand slam.

00:39:25.280 But still, there's plenty of people who are just desperate to engage with China.

00:39:36.420 And he was asked, and he said, I'd be glad to help the Chinese develop aircraft carriers.
00:39:42.480 I don't see anything wrong with it.

00:39:49.420 And by then, it was very clear what the Chinese had in mind.
00:39:52.600 So this is, you can see, you get a sense of the scope, the breadth of the Chinese really

00:40:03.460 But pretty much all you have to do in the financial and business classes is wave some money at them.

00:42:13.400 And the thing that's the breaking news that we just learned about Friday is that there's, in the National Defense Authorization Act, buried in this 1772-page document, on page 950, there is another act.

00:42:35.920 And according to Frances Boyle, who's going to be one of our panelists today, there's a clause in here in which Congress already passed pre-approval for whatever the WHO agrees to.

00:42:58.160 The WHO, people don't realize this, the way that the World Health Assembly works is that every country gets one vote.

00:43:10.140 What this act does is it makes it so that if these horrible international health regulation amendments pass, if this terrible pandemic treaty passes, that it will subvert the advice and consent of the Senate

00:45:02.340 is that that is a catch-all that can be used to pre-approve anything that they come up with at the World Health Organization.
