Bannon's War Room - WarRoom Battleground EP 339： Taking Back The Whitehouse In 2024

00:00:00.000 this is what you're fighting for I mean every day you're out there what they're

00:00:18.180 doing is blowing people off if you continue to look the other way and shut

00:00:23.340 up then the oppressors the authoritarians get total control and total

00:00:27.800 power because this is just like in Arizona this is just like in Georgia it's another element that

00:00:34.100 backs them into a quarter and shows their lies and misrepresentations is why this audience is

00:00:38.520 gonna have to get engaged as we've told you this is the fight all this nonsense all this spin they

00:00:43.940 can't handle the truth war room battleground here's your host Stephen K Bannon okay welcome

00:00:52.100 uh to our second hour it is uh Monday 24 July year of alert 2023 I thought we'd be doing all

00:00:59.720 house stories this week they're coming back I think tonight or tomorrow start voting tomorrow

00:01:03.600 they're only here for a couple days and it's going to be one firefight after the next we'll be involved

00:01:07.560 in it I believe just for my staff I think that the UFO briefing is Wednesday thank you very much

00:01:13.260 we had a little cross wires there we're going to get Burchett on I think tomorrow to go through this

00:01:17.660 and this is if you think the FBI the UFO things of misdirection play

00:01:22.180 my point I made this at the speech at turning point we need all this information the the American

00:01:29.460 people need to be treated as adults all the information should come out immediately and you

00:01:34.940 make the judgment we're getting to all that tomorrow the next day one of my favorite um

00:01:42.940 I guess websites news sites is life site news and one of the reasons they have guys like Stephen

00:01:49.020 Mosher that right over there I mean the team over there is just incredible and the types of stories

00:01:53.680 they break Stephen um I want to talk about this piece and if Memphis can please get it up as I bring

00:02:00.020 Stephen on Stephen and I want to say uh it in this deal with the Chinese Comics Party the secret deal

00:02:08.660 the first phase I think it was done in 2019 and announced because I was at the Vatican for the

00:02:16.020 uh conference on the pedophilia and they announced this I think to kind of take the emphasis off that

00:02:22.860 the secret deal was leaked or announced then and I gave a uh an hour I gave interviews all over I did

00:02:29.020 an hour special from the roof of the convent that overlooks St. Peter's Square your update on this um

00:02:37.020 on this story goes back to what my concerns were at the very beginning

00:02:43.660 it's not just a humiliation for the church it's got to be a crushing blow

00:02:47.780 to Lao Bajing to these dedicated uh Christians in this oppression in mainland China can you walk us 1.00

00:02:54.960 through the humiliation of the Catholic Church at the hand of the Chinese Communist Party sir

00:02:59.460 well it's worse than humiliation it's the absolute crushing and destruction of the Catholic Church 0.68

00:03:05.540 in China which is not a recent import there have been Catholics in China for hundreds and hundreds

00:03:10.920 of years uh going back to to the Middle Ages uh the Sino-Vatican Agreement was signed in 2018 it was

00:03:17.760 extended in 2020 for reasons unknown it was extended again in 2022 and now it is in effect a dead letter

00:03:24.960 it's a dead letter because uh Pope Francis has caved he has accepted an obviously compromised man

00:03:32.980 a bishop shun as the bishop of Shanghai and I say bishop shun is compromised I can't read his mind

00:03:39.380 but I say he's compromised because he's the uh the head of the Catholic Patriotic Bishops Conference

00:03:45.400 the the bishops conference organized by and run by the United Front Department of the Chinese Communist

00:03:51.920 Party which of course is very hostile to all religion and represents an officially atheistic

00:03:57.500 communist party he is also formerly the head the vice the vice chairman of the uh Catholic Patriotic

00:04:04.960 Conference of all Catholics in China so he's been he's been Beijing's man he's been the CCP's man 0.63

00:04:11.560 for a long time now the way the secret agreement was supposed to work uh and we understand we haven't

00:04:18.980 seen the agreement but this is what we were led to understand how it would work was that Beijing would

00:04:24.820 propose a candidate that's bad right off the get-go and then the Pope would have a veto he would say

00:04:31.580 no I don't accept him uh you have to come up with somebody else now that put the Pope in a weak position

00:04:38.460 to begin with but I think he was counting on the goodwill the good intentions of the Chinese Communist Party

00:04:45.500 uh that they could reach an agreement on bishops and there was a desperate need for bishops in China

00:04:50.980 there are 104 dioces uh recognized by the Chinese Communist Party why we let them draw the dioceses and

00:04:58.700 borders I don't know but they do and about 40 of them were missing bishops and so I think Pope Francis

00:05:04.820 was led to believe that this agreement would allow him to appoint dozens and dozens of bishops for

00:05:11.300 MTCs to meet the sacramental needs of Catholics well it hasn't happened we've seen in the last

00:05:17.280 steven whoa whoa steven hang on hang on the the catholic the catholic patriotic association

00:05:24.600 wherever they call it that's the state sanction or the state approved catholic church that's always

00:05:29.780 been questioned as running dogs for the ccp you have an underground catholic church and what people

00:05:35.760 in the audience should know that are not catholic the evangelicals the christian faith whether

00:05:41.640 practices evangelical christians or some organized form of christianity or organized church or

00:05:47.100 catholicism is i would argue they're probably more christians and catholics combined underground

00:05:55.380 in china mainland china than there are in the united states practicing and she has said on many

00:06:03.580 occasions this he thinks is his number one threat to his regime it it it am i clear are those facts

00:06:10.100 accurate steven yeah absolutely there's been a huge spread of christianity in china over the last

00:06:16.700 20 years a minister of education told a friend of mine 10 years ago there are probably more christians

00:06:22.020 in china than members of the chinese communist party there are 94 million members of the chinese

00:06:27.160 communist party so that would mean over 100 million christians you add uh the the catholics christians

00:06:34.380 evangelicals the home churches together you've got a huge force in china and we know that chinese

00:06:40.380 communist parties don't like any organization to exist outside of the control of the party itself not

00:06:46.780 the family not mediating institutions of any kind not church groups certainly this is an officially

00:06:52.860 atheistic regime but really it wants people to worship itself the chinese communist party runs a quasi

00:07:01.180 religion it has its own sacraments it has its own liturgy it has its own acolytes some members of the chinese

00:07:07.900 communist party and you're supposed to belong to the communist run church of china you're not supposed

00:07:13.100 to be a catholic or a christian for that matter you're not supposed to be a taoist or a buddhist or a

00:07:17.820 muslim or anything else xi jinping has said that any go ahead go ahead sir any religion xi jinping

00:07:27.340 december 21 said this china's dictator any religion that does not teach its members to love the party

00:07:34.060 and socialism is a quote-unquote backward religion engaged in illegal religious activities and will be 0.81

00:07:41.900 stamped out so that's that's the uh the approach didn't didn't didn't cardinal didn't cardinal zen

00:07:50.620 understanding that and cardinal zen one of the holiest men in the world and had been a fighter at when he

00:07:55.580 was uh the head of the hong kong church in fighting this didn't he at the age and correct me if i'm wrong i

00:08:01.660 think he was 90 get on a plane and fly back to the vatican to talk about the about the the problems 0.53

00:08:09.260 with the mccarrick negotiated mccarrick the pet who was such a pedophile such a out of control degenerate 0.83

00:08:15.820 pedophile that they had to take him away he was the american pope they had to take defrock him and he's 0.95

00:08:22.940 now in an old age home somewhere in kansas laicized because he was so depraved he negotiated this deal

00:08:28.940 that cardinal zen got on a plane to go to the vatican to tell the pope exactly what was going

00:08:36.140 to happen and far as far as eventually the consecration of these bishops and he wouldn't

00:08:41.740 see him for two weeks he sat there he would not see him and finally at the end he saw him for like

00:08:46.460 five minutes patting him on the head and said we've got this and wouldn't even let him see the document

00:08:50.540 um cardinal zen knew this everybody knew this in fact when i was there and it might have been in 18 for

00:08:57.660 for the conference on pedophilia the biggest thing the church was fighting the official church was

00:09:02.780 you couldn't have uh you couldn't have lay members have any kind of uh say so in the running of the

00:09:09.020 church particularly you could never have the lay people at all in a parish ever uh throw their two

00:09:15.500 cents in on who should be bishops because that deal is run by the vatican except in mainland china where

00:09:22.300 they're prepared to turn it over to the ccp and and and zen and and war room and everybody at the

00:09:28.060 time said hey this is going to lead you to an absolute church that's one thousand percent controlled

00:09:35.020 by the chinese communist party aren't those facts uh line up do they not sir

00:09:42.140 oh absolutely steve it was 2018 i met with the vatican secretary of state uh for an hour uh cardinal

00:09:51.580 perilin was kind enough to meet with me i told him the chinese communist party would violate the

00:09:56.300 agreement before the ink was dry on the paper i told him that the communist party would use the

00:10:01.660 agreement to force catholics to either join the patriotic catholic church run by the communist party

00:10:07.420 by the way or go to jail i told him that it would be a disaster for the church and the ultimate goal of

00:10:13.340 the party was to crush the church in china he listened to me for an hour uh to his credit and then he said

00:10:20.300 well the agreement has already been negotiated we're just waiting for the chinese side to sign it

00:10:25.820 and i knew that i had failed to move him off the dime the agreement has now been revealed to be an

00:10:31.740 absolute disaster the pope has been forced to accept as a bishop of shanghai the most important see

00:10:39.740 in all of china with the most catholics in all of china and many many christians decide someone who

00:10:46.220 is obviously compromised by the chinese communist party and will lead the the church down in whatever

00:10:53.100 direction the party wants it to go uh bear in mind people need to know that the communist party

00:10:58.620 is for example rewriting the bible in china so that the story of the woman caught in adultery does not end

00:11:05.980 with our lord saying go and send no more uh it ends with our lord picking up a rock and stoning the

00:11:12.780 woman to death himself it is a disgrace it is despicable rewrite of the bible which is the only 1.00

00:11:19.340 bible the communist party bible now that will be allowed to be sold in china intended to destroy the 0.61

00:11:25.820 faith of the people in china this is an all-out assault on freedom of conscience in china a freedom

00:11:31.740 of religion in china and uh and we need to know that the goal of the sinovatican agreement the end goal

00:11:38.780 of the communist party is not to allow um a separate safe space for catholics to worship in china or

00:11:45.420 christians to worship in china the ultimate goal is to crush the church in china entirely to prevent 1.00

00:11:51.660 the people in china from spreading the faith to their children the law is you cannot bring your own

00:11:56.780 children to church in china anyone under 18 is not allowed to darken the doors of a church there are

00:12:03.500 plaques outside the doors of the churches saying no one under the age of 18 is allowed to enter this

00:12:10.140 is a complete surrender to the chinese communist party and it has led to great evil in china and great 1.00

00:12:16.860 great pain among catholics who feel abandoned the church in china both the underground catholic church

00:12:24.460 and the underground evangelicals they call house churches are more robust more vibrant more resilient

00:12:31.900 than christianity in the quite decadent west steven mosher how do people get to you in your writing sir

00:12:39.500 i'm at uh pop.org pop.org that's our website at the population research institute

00:12:46.380 i'm on social media at steven w mosher and thanks for bringing attention to the plight of our

00:12:53.340 co-religionists in china they're suffering greatly greatly their prayers go out to them uh steven thank

00:13:00.300 you very much honor to have you on here always a pleasure let's play we got todd bensman uh as todd

00:13:07.180 bensman warned you now for over a month on this show alone there's something brewing down on the

00:13:13.340 texas border and on the rio grande let's go and play the cold open we're going to bring todd in

00:13:18.140 the state of texas is now facing a lawsuit after it refused to comply with the doj deadline to remove a

00:13:23.820 thousand foot wall of buoys from the rio grande the doj sent texas that warning letter last month arguing that

00:13:30.060 the floating barrier meant to stop migrant crossings it's not authorized by the u.s army corps of

00:13:34.940 engineers and it violates federal law and presents several humanitarian concerns in response to this

00:13:40.940 letter the texas governor tweeted just a couple of hours ago quote this mr president texas will see

00:13:47.260 you in court join me now nbc news homeland security correspondent uh julia ainsley who has more on this

00:13:53.180 i think the overarching question here julia is what happens now lots of back and forth here

00:13:57.020 where does this go looks like a lawsuit i mean they've now passed the 2 p.m deadline there was no

00:14:02.380 commitment from texas governor greg abbott to remove those buoys in fact he doubled down saying it was

00:14:08.220 well within his state's rights to try to do more to combat immigration than he argues the biden 0.77

00:14:13.660 administration has done although if you look at the numbers it's easy to counter that and show that even

00:14:17.900 though they've spent billions on this project they actually haven't been able to interdict that many

00:14:22.140 migrants because essentially this is a federal law that falls to federal agents but what this means

00:14:27.100 is that likely we should now hear the doj keep good on its promise and actually take the texas to court

00:14:34.060 and abbott said we'll see you in court we're expecting this to now be a showdown it's interesting

00:14:38.780 it's kind of like the shoes on the other foot here jasmine because time and time again we've seen texas

00:14:43.580 lead other republican-led states to sue the biden administration over their immigration policies

00:14:48.860 now we have the federal government suing texas over its immigration policies because they say

00:14:53.580 not only is this inhumane they've seen they think this will lead to more drownings of migrants they've

00:14:58.860 also see the concertina wire that texas has put up among this along the section of the border has led to

00:15:05.180 a lot of medical problems a lot of people being cut by this wire they say it's also not only inhumane but

00:15:11.740 it's impeding some of their work there because border agents are now having to stop to render medical aid

00:15:16.860 rather than do their work along the border so this is really teeing up to be a case that could be a

00:15:22.380 political showdown as texas governor greg abbott tries to show that he is able to do more on immigration

00:15:29.660 than the biden administration okay um i want to make sure everybody in this audience understands that

00:15:37.260 it's 100 because of the patriots in texas putting pressure on greg abbott because this is not a tough

00:15:43.740 guy he does not want to do this he's doing this completely for political expediency because the

00:15:51.180 citizens of the lone star state are demanding it and also obviously people around the country

00:15:57.260 todd bensman you gave us a heads up on this i think four or five six weeks ago

00:16:01.580 get us up to date on on exactly what's happening now what you're seeing is a lot of liberal pushback

00:16:09.420 uh against the measures that greg abbott has put in place uh against the measures that greg abbott has

00:16:13.260 put in place because those doing the pushback understand that it is working uh as they the

00:16:22.140 old saying goes uh you're not taking flack unless you're flying over the target dropping bombs uh that

00:16:28.860 are working i think that's what you're seeing you're seeing a lot of liberal ginning up of a of a of an

00:16:34.700 opposition narrative against the texas governor against that barbed wire uh against the buoy system

00:16:43.340 uh against the the abbott's pushback uh you know hold the line policy where they're acting kind of like

00:16:50.620 uh nfl linemen not letting anybody through you're getting a lot of allegations that are uh patently

00:16:58.060 untrue just completely fraudulent allegations that are getting a lot of traction in the liberal media

00:17:04.380 and all of this we've seen a bunch of times we saw it primarily when trump was trying to put his

00:17:09.580 wall in the big beautiful wall you started to see all these um you know critics come out of the

00:17:14.940 woodwork saying it won't work it'll never work but if it doesn't work and you actually believe it

00:17:20.460 doesn't work why don't you just stay home and never lift a raise your voice about it and i think that's

00:17:26.780 what's happening you're seeing a lot of people raise their voice about what texas is doing right now

00:17:32.540 because they know in their heart of hearts at the bottom of their guts that this is working and

00:17:39.580 it's a threat to open borders and i think that's what we're seeing we're going to see a lot more of

00:17:44.220 that that's well hang on hang on hang on hang on let me go back to you said something i want you to

00:17:50.540 back it up you're saying there's a bunch of allegations about what dps is doing that are untrue

00:17:56.540 and that's getting a lot of volume just walk me through a couple of those that you think are the

00:18:02.460 top ones that are allegations you know for a fact as you bit there are untrue but the left-wing media

00:18:08.620 and the open borders crowd are pushing these as fact sir for example the houston chronicle came out

00:18:15.740 with a piece a hit piece about a week ago that claims uh that the texas dps has submerged barrels

00:18:26.060 that are wrapped in razor wire so that they'll cut migrants who can't see them as they're swimming 1.00

00:18:31.980 across or walking across uh that is untrue there has been investigation about the allegations and

00:18:39.180 nobody can find any evidence of anything like this the administration over there is saying we would

00:18:45.180 never ever nor did we ever order any kind of like uh razor wire submerged razor wire traps uh there are

00:18:54.540 allegations now that the uh texas troopers are being really mean and hitting the uh pregnant women

00:19:01.740 and pushing them into the water with their holding their babies and that kind of thing um i've seen no

00:19:07.740 evidence of that the uh state of texas has seen no evidence of that but the uh media mainstream media

00:19:17.100 uh is just going with those going crazy with those allegations uh building a narrative to the point

00:19:23.180 where sheila jackson lee brought it up uh at a at a border hearing just last week saying what about

00:19:30.460 that they're doing these things without any evidence whatsoever uh those have been debunked and

00:19:36.460 you can't kill these narratives on the on the regular media once they're out there it's very

00:19:41.500 difficult to kill those those narratives those are just a couple how dug in is abb abbott because of 0.98

00:19:49.340 the political because people have his back there i mean and and this audience particularly has been

00:19:54.540 outraged and they're finally glad that dps is doing something and we know all the sheriffs down there

00:19:59.740 on the border particularly rio grand valley and other parts of south texas want to do something

00:20:03.820 how dug in is texas right now are they going to fight this one to the bitter end yeah they're dug

00:20:10.060 in uh from everything i'm hearing i have sources close to the administration uh from everything i'm

00:20:16.540 hearing they're they're dug in they're ready to go to war uh legal war uh and we'll see what happens

00:20:22.940 and i think they'll they'll want to see what happens too because you know if ultimately texas's right to

00:20:29.100 put marine barriers is upheld maybe by the supreme court uh that's kind of a big deal that that says

00:20:36.460 a lot about what a state can do and they'll be feeling free to expand on that marine barrier

00:20:44.220 remember they always said that trump's wall would never work why are you doing this all of a sudden

00:20:49.180 everybody became a fiscal conservative all these liberals became uh fiscally concerned we're wasting

00:20:55.020 money on things that don't work because they know in their heart of hearts that walls work to a great

00:21:00.860 extent on a whole lot of problems uh and that they just didn't want that and they're saying the same

00:21:07.580 thing about the marine barrier you know it'll never work it's a waste of money you're wasting our money

00:21:13.020 i've never known any any of these same liberals who are complaining about the money to have been like

00:21:18.780 really supercharged about you know government finances uh you know being efficient with our tax

00:21:28.860 todd let me give you a sound of freedom has been such a massive hit 125 million dollars it blew

00:21:34.220 through it's continuing to grow sold out theaters make sure you go to sound of freedom uh or angel.com

00:21:40.940 to get your tickets take people take everybody and then talk about it afterwards have a cup of coffee

00:21:45.980 have an adult beverage discuss the film and push it out there's all this discussion we had liz you on

00:21:51.820 earlier we've had people last couple days the 300 000 unaccompanied minors and particularly the um

00:21:59.020 the 85 000 that the whistleblower says are are are missing um how big a deal is now justice department is

00:22:08.140 taking down the stuff on the website about international trafficking of children

00:22:12.140 how big from your reporting and we heard you know we had the whistleblower on the on the

00:22:16.220 um uh you know james o'keefe media group but his whistleblower came out was a dhs person i think

00:22:23.500 said there's all these brothels in the general houston area you've been down there that with the 1.00

00:22:27.740 colonias or the clone the colonial things where people the cops won't even go into how big is this

00:22:34.780 issue of child trafficking or trafficking of women for sex or the child trafficking and particularly the fact

00:22:41.100 where the little kid's got something in his pocket it's got a number on they call it they don't check

00:22:45.020 anybody how big an issue is that right now well i mean i have to fall back on dhs documents probably

00:22:52.380 the very ones that they're pulling off the web right now that say that this i mean as recently as 2021

00:22:59.180 that this is a 150 billion dollars a year international industry uh sex trafficking and children and young

00:23:08.220 women and women uh i'm going with that i'm sorry that they're taking it down uh but guess what they 0.86

00:23:14.460 do have something called the wayback machine i don't know what they're thinking uh but also um you know

00:23:20.460 i'm in possession right now of two very recent uh biden doj prosecutions that are active right now

00:23:29.660 of child sex trafficking in the houston area big ring uh court records up the wazoo uh showing the

00:23:39.340 horrors uh that were depicted in the movie i just saw the movie myself a couple nights ago and then

00:23:45.260 there's another biden court uh prosecution right now uh about a a bar in mission texas where the owner and

00:23:54.940 her son you know tricked a bunch of women young 16 year old girls to come over the border illegally 1.00

00:24:03.980 and they're going to work and they turned them into sex slaves and went on for 12 years like that until 0.52

00:24:08.540 they finally got caught and now they're being prosecuted by the biden doj my point in mentioning

00:24:15.500 that the biden administration is the one prosecuting these cases right now and i will write about these

00:24:21.500 here soon as soon as i get a chance uh is that it's real it's actually happening uh in texas in

00:24:29.500 houston the court records say it i've read them all it's a horror story that probably should have been

00:24:35.100 the real movie uh the the movie itself um you know i just saw it and um you know you you have to

00:24:42.620 appreciate that it drew attention to this major human scourge but i will say that if people are

00:24:49.660 looking for a way to act on it what they ought to be doing is hammering your congressmen and women 1.00

00:24:57.740 and your senators to force the biden administration to re-implement to re-install

00:25:05.100 rapid dna testing at the southern border uh on may 31st they put the final stake in the heart

00:25:13.340 of rapid dna testing that was the only thing that stood between adults bringing children over the

00:25:20.220 border that weren't theirs and posing as a family group because family groups all get in quick

00:25:26.460 release right into the country uh and inexplicably the administration on on right after inauguration

00:25:33.740 in april uh really paired back what the biden administration was doing there it had i mean the

00:25:39.660 trump administration uh had been doing they had ended fake families uh the smuggling of children

00:25:47.260 over that border with this dna testing and then they killed it all together in may of of this year 1.00

00:25:54.700 and i don't see a word about it why would they why would they do that why would they kill you why

00:26:00.780 would they kill rapid dna testing tell you why because it takes about 45 minutes for the results to come in

00:26:08.460 and that is too long for the administration they want to move these people through as fast as

00:26:14.300 possible so that there's not a big build up in the centers for where they keep the the kids and the

00:26:20.540 families and that's it it just took it takes an extra 45 minutes and they have to line them up when

00:26:26.780 they come in off the border they put them in line to get their cheeks swabbed that's how it worked and

00:26:33.180 right there in that line half of them broke and said okay okay you got me that's not my kid

00:26:38.460 i mean it was an it was amazing hang on hang on one second i'm gonna just keep you through the break

00:33:50.540 okay i want to get uh i got caroline rent okay caroline you got to help me out here i don't even know

00:33:57.260 where to start and there's so many it's such a target rich environment do we start with mit romney's

00:34:03.580 op-ed in the murdoch control news or do we go maybe we hold the two bay in because that's reality check

00:34:09.580 that stops all the happy talk and it makes sense because you understand why biden's not running but

00:34:13.580 let's let's go to let's start with i want to start with the big donor confab i mean because you're the

00:34:19.580 you're the one the interlinks between strategy and and donor money i want to talk about um

00:34:26.460 the big donor confab out in park city that cost him a fortune the mit romney op-ed and even the club

00:34:34.140 for the club for uh you know chinese growth that now is doing a patriots a patriots pack uh anti-trump

00:34:42.300 patriots pack for the for the 20 uh patriots let's start with uh desantis and park city ma'am do you

00:34:49.980 with the performance that you've seen out of this and the spending of the money and the just they should

00:34:54.460 have taken money out in a in the front lawn and just dumped on the lawn and burned it how do you

00:34:59.580 how do you even prepare for the thing in park city it was hilarious to me to read about a a conference

00:35:07.660 that they had where the campaign manager was apologizing for the overspending that they've

00:35:11.340 been doing on the campaign while they were at a five-star resort in deer valley actually in fact

00:35:16.300 an even more expensive area of park city so just like picturing this going on of these donors sitting in

00:35:21.420 this room being apologized to that we're no longer going to do these expensive events if you've read

00:35:26.620 there was i think like nine different you know uh desantis campaign reboot stories that i read this

00:35:32.620 weekend that were all the exact same and it's just hilarious to me that politico new york times wall

00:35:37.900 street journal washington post literally like ate up this garbage but as they're talking about this

00:35:43.340 don't i'm just picturing these donors in this room listening to this in a five-star resort all expenses

00:35:47.900 paid for all the all the food and drinks being paid for about how they're cutting back spending

00:35:51.900 and only going to do small events it's not like thousands of people were showing up to desantis

00:35:56.380 events anyway he was only getting like 40 to 80 people at any one event that he was doing so that

00:36:01.740 to blame the expenses thing on that is also a joke but uh the the wasteful spending is is very real

00:36:07.900 within this desantis campaign in fact i believe it was like over 220 000 a day that they have been

00:36:13.820 spending on that campaign to put that in perspective like scott walker had to drop out by september 20th

00:36:19.740 because he was spending 90 000 a day i mean the desantis campaign is spending three times that much

00:36:26.300 to literally just plummet in the polls so it's not looking good and i'm not really feeling the

00:36:31.900 reboot but but i want to walk i want to go back to that math because give the audience some inside

00:36:38.940 baseball the problem he has is that the money they're raising are coming from people that are

00:36:44.380 writing with a 3300 check or they're they're maxed out right the far hard federal dollars they don't

00:36:50.060 have a big grassroots online fundraising campaign because he's not connecting with people it shows

00:36:55.980 up in the polls so when you burn through that kind of cash it was worth it to spend an ordinary

00:37:01.820 extraordinary amount of his time just getting on the plane and flying other places to shake down

00:37:06.700 another 40 50 donors in in that the the um the death cycle the vicious cycle they're caught in now

00:37:14.620 well it's even worse than that because you can accept thirty three hundred dollars for the primary

00:37:18.140 thirty three hundred dollars for the general so a donor can write sixty six hundred dollars you can

00:37:22.060 only spend half of that so forty percent of the donations that came in were max out donations at

00:37:26.300 that sixty six hundred then you have to cut that in half that's money they can't even touch for

00:37:29.900 the primary election so when they're talking about the why they ended up in this like being

00:37:34.140 insolvent within their campaign is like no one i guess was thinking through those those parts of

00:37:38.380 it and if forty percent of the donors in their original and the first you know they were only

00:37:42.460 in i think six weeks into this race during that filing period and well all of your low-hanging fruit

00:37:47.660 wrote max out donations so who are they going to now because he's now almost in single digits

00:37:52.380 and i keep hearing about fundraisers that he's having they're struggling to get anyone there

00:37:56.300 they're struggling to be able to raise money so i just think that this campaign is going to go bankrupt

00:38:00.380 very quickly and i do think that the money that you're seeing going into some of these outside

00:38:04.460 groups whether or not that's coke or club for growth people have to remember that if you are

00:38:08.220 an investment bank or hedge fund manager you're not allowed to give to governors because governors

00:38:12.540 manage pensions and if your hedge fund does anything to do with a governor's pension there's

00:38:17.500 a pay-to-play laws that exist there i believe this is the money that was behind the 20 million

00:38:21.500 dollar transfer from the rga into his pack that happened right there in the last 90 days of the campaign

00:38:26.380 when desantis had 90 million dollars cash on hand and the rga transferred 20 million dollars to

00:38:33.020 desantis who had again 90 million cash on hand he was up 20 points they did that in the last three

00:38:38.060 months of his race this is more money than was spent in pennsylvania arizona and michigan combined by

00:38:43.340 the rga why did they do that because it was money being funneled through the hedge funds into desantis

00:38:47.660 that is not legally allowed to be spent through other avenues so i do think that's another thing that

00:38:52.060 you're seeing and that's why i think this money is also flowing through club and coke and these

00:38:55.580 different groups because it's to me it's still pay to play that's exactly what it is

00:39:02.140 talk to me about mitt romney's piece in the wall street journal he's making the argument he wants

00:39:07.500 the keebler elves down to one big elf otherwise you're going to get trump as a it's it's a it's

00:39:13.660 a cry for help from mitt romney ma'am yeah so mitt romney wrote a what i consider a dear john letter

00:39:20.060 to donors today in rupert murdoch's wall street journal and he basically was saying that they that any

00:39:25.500 donors they need to stop funding candidates by february 26th and tell them that they need to

00:39:30.940 drop out and consolidate around the strongest candidates beat trump and so the the idea behind

00:39:36.060 it is that if you are giving money right now to you know desantis or nikki haley or any of these others

00:39:40.860 you need to tell them that if you are not the leading polar by february 26 and you have to drop

00:39:45.100 out and consolidate but there's something that romney is failing in his logic which is that trump right

00:39:50.380 now is up i mean between 40 and 50 percent in these in in national polls also in the polls in

00:39:55.980 iowa new hampshire south carolina that we're seeing come out and on top of that trump is overwhelmingly the

00:40:00.460 second choice for people and especially desantis and ramaswamy voters and so when you add that up

00:40:05.900 if you take the desantis number which is dwindling but and and the vivek number and then the trump

00:40:10.860 number that puts them well over 60 64 and even if you're just taking half of those down that puts you at

00:40:16.220 56 so who are you consolidating at this point you're consolidating like mike pence's three percent

00:40:22.140 and nikki haley's four percent and bergam's one percent you're still getting to like 15 of these

00:40:27.660 consolidated folks to drop out so mit romney is uh also an ironic person to offer this advice

00:40:33.500 considering in 2016 if you remember he literally split his he endorsed both john casick and ted cruz

00:40:40.220 just saying anyone but trump so he's giving advice i mean i guess he maybe learned his lesson from that

00:40:45.420 time but it doesn't matter trump is too far up so this consolidation theory the time the time the

00:40:50.220 time this consolidation theory and you're going to hear more of it is that they're basically saying

00:40:54.940 before super tuesday if you go through the first four primaries essentially they got to pick

00:40:59.980 everybody's got to get back a one guy and that one guy has got to be the guy the one person nikki haley

00:41:05.580 whomever has got to be that's what they're that's what he's trying to signal that everybody can the

00:41:09.900 keybler elves can run around i mean he'd like him to drop out beforehand but no later than 26 the

00:41:15.260 donors got to tell guys if you haven't consolidated to be the leading competitor to trump going into

00:41:20.780 super tuesday we only got to have we have to have one person in back of them right this is the never

00:41:25.500 trump's uh strategy right right yeah and there was there was one insightful thing in this piece though

00:41:33.260 from romney so he said that donors may think that party leaders can narrow the field not so candidates

00:41:39.180 don't listen to party officials because voters don't listen to them either and the last people who

00:41:43.260 would ever encourage a candidate to withdraw are the campaign consultants who want to keep their

00:41:46.940 jobs and i found that insightful because it is true i mean our party we don't trust our party

00:41:51.420 officials right now you and i've talked about that endlessly about how they don't trust the rnc

00:41:55.740 and and it is true that like that they can't deliver that message and the only a lot of these

00:42:00.140 candidates they do just they listen to their donors and it's also why i think desantis came out so flat

00:42:05.420 and just died because immediately he gave a actually what i thought was a strong answer to tucker

00:42:09.420 carlson on ukraine and then he got you know called by a bunch of his wall street donors who you know

00:42:15.020 can't even technically be giving to him because of pay to play who said oh you can't give that answer

00:42:18.540 and so then he botched it again and then botched it again and what was the play of announcing on

00:42:22.540 twitter that was a donor play too oh you'll get all this money go with david sacks and elon must

00:42:27.020 it was desantis listening to the donor class that got him into this predicament and just killed his

00:42:31.420 campaign upon arrival and he's never going to be able to get out of it and so by romney saying that

00:42:36.700 point he's not wrong it is the donors who do make a lot of these calls but it's also why trump does

00:42:40.460 so well trump is not driven by donors that's why a lot of people say oh caroline a lot of these

00:42:45.180 donors are are they going to come home i'm like i think they will end up coming home but trump's

00:42:49.660 certainly not losing any sleep over it at night because he doesn't answer to the donor class he

00:42:53.900 answers to the people and that's why he's going to end up at 50 way or more in all of these primaries

00:43:00.220 um i want to go to biden while they're not even running a while they're not even running a campaign

00:43:08.620 a huge article i think it was in the washington post that lays out all these they've they've

00:43:12.540 outsourced these outside groups that have money who knows where it comes from it's two billion

00:43:17.980 dollars and as you've warned people this is the real campaign they're going to come and drop a two

00:43:23.580 billion dollar brick on our head in these battleground states the money comes from arabella 1.00

00:43:30.780 advisors that so that's we we know where it comes from and it isn't it is a it just blank check that

00:43:36.300 they have and so two billion is probably the the bottom of the barrel what they're going to spend

00:43:41.340 and you're already seeing it you're seeing that money being just they spend it very wisely i mean they

00:43:45.260 spend it in certain counties and just to drive up boat totals in philadelphia milwaukee detroit atlanta

00:43:51.260 and that is how we struggle so much to be able to catch up and you have if i were if i were running

00:43:55.820 biden campaign i wouldn't run a campaign why do they need to campaign katie hobbs didn't run a 1.00

00:43:59.660 campaign john fetterman didn't run a campaign joe biden didn't run a campaign they don't have to

00:44:03.980 campaign when they break the system and they are able to infuse and up their vote totals in these

00:44:08.540 major cities and we have not figured out a way to catch up and there's no leadership within our party

00:44:13.020 who's strategizing on how to do this if it were up to me i would say i think we probably need to

00:44:17.820 abandon attempting to convert independent women i think that we're gonna it would cost

00:44:23.260 billions of dollars to running tv ads and different things i think that we can run up

00:44:26.540 our vote totals in the rural communities we can run them up in the churches go find and register

00:44:31.340 more of the like hard you know 70 plus republican areas of the states and do what they're doing but

00:44:36.460 do it in the rural communities but i'm not seeing any one group sort of leading that and we are up against

00:44:42.540 so much money that it is terrifying but i i don't expect to see joe biden campaign necessarily like

00:44:48.220 at all he'll probably do a couple of events but he doesn't have the cognitive function to actually

00:44:53.180 show up at any of these events and nor does he need to because they know exactly how many votes i

00:44:56.940 need a bank to win with your your warning to to donors and to the trump campaign right now about what

00:45:06.860 reality is and you're 100 correct two bands the the the under not the over and it's arabella and

00:45:13.100 these other groups we don't know where this money's coming from what would be your warning of what

00:45:17.020 action needs to be forget the rnc that's a disaster all they're doing spending time setting traps for

00:45:22.700 trump in the primary but to big donors who are serious about saving the country even people don't

00:45:28.540 like trump and president trump and his senior staff what would be your warning today about what actions

00:45:33.900 they need to take immediately about the real threat which is the two bay in from the outside groups

00:45:40.300 it's hard to say that i would give a warning to the trump campaign campaigns are not built to have

00:45:43.820 to do this they can only accept it fifty or thirty three hundred dollars as we talked about and just

00:45:48.620 biden does not have a campaign it's not campaigns who should do this the campaigns are there to support

00:45:52.380 the candidate and make sure he can get his message out i think trump is running the best campaign

00:45:55.660 i've ever seen i think the operation around him is the best that i've ever seen but they will never

00:45:59.340 be able to raise the money to be able to do this it has to come from outside groups and 501c3

00:46:03.820 and 501c4s and not these super packs and so my advice is more to the donors stop and think and

00:46:09.340 ask questions before you write money because if you're just giving to super packs they make money

00:46:13.180 and are sent advice to run television ads and nobody's watching television ads it's not what's

00:46:16.860 winning elections it is the ground game and so i would find and support local groups that are going to

00:46:21.740 focus on registering voters in their communities and focus on communities that are what we call r plus eight

00:46:27.260 which means highly dense republican areas and focus on registering and turning out those people you

00:46:33.740 can do that through organization 501c3s can register voters and they can't ask which party

00:46:39.180 affiliation you are but that's why i say you go to the heavily r areas and so it is it's tough to say

00:46:44.380 exactly there's no one group that is a solution or answer to solving this problem right now there are

00:46:48.620 super packs popping up saying that they're gonna be the lead ones and get out the vote it's frankly

00:46:52.780 not even super packs that we should do and get out the votes it's 501c3s and 501c4s and so i don't you

00:46:58.380 know as far as advice to the trump campaign the bike says i i hope there are others outside of the trump

00:47:03.180 campaign organizing to help him do this because trump has enough on his plate right now he's

00:47:07.500 getting indicted every other day they're getting like their whole team is getting sued having to

00:47:12.460 go to court constantly they're having to run a presidential campaign that's being run beautifully

00:47:16.700 as evidenced by the fact that trump is crushing the rest of the primary field

00:47:20.140 and so we need to be asking ourselves what we can do to help president trump and his campaign

00:47:26.780 uh caroline your social media how do people get to you

00:47:29.660 sure it's at caroline rand

00:47:34.860 caroline rand and that's on all uh platforms all platforms

00:47:40.780 caroline rand thank you very much for joining us with your hard-hitting 0.99

00:47:44.380 and uh rational and realistic advice thank you thank you

00:47:51.260 joe allen's been working on his project you make sure this book gets uh out by the 29th of august but i've

00:47:56.780 got a cold open let's hit the cold open and joe and i'll get joe in for a couple of minutes for his break

00:48:04.620 meet amazon one the fast convenient contactless identity service that allows you to enter

00:48:11.020 identify and pay using only your palm ditch your wallet and just hover your palm over an amazon one

00:48:17.660 device to enter identify and pay wherever amazon one is available so go for it well you can now pay for

00:48:25.420 your panera sandwich with the palm of your hand you've heard that right the restaurant chain partnering

00:48:30.220 with amazon to test its palm reading payment technology we want to bring in naren a chowdhury

00:48:35.180 panera breads how exactly does this work because it might scare a lot of people i think use of

00:48:41.660 biometric identification is happening all around us as we know on airports etc and supermarkets already

00:48:47.660 so i just see this as a natural evolution of using biometric technology to drive convenience loyalty

00:48:54.700 identification and payment swiping and tapping our cards and our apps are not just the easiest way to

00:49:00.940 spend money they're the safest way unless of course we misplace our phones or our wallets and then it's

00:49:05.740 a nightmare and soon your hand may be all that you need to buy anything that you can afford and many

00:49:11.820 things that you can't because a company called wallet more is developing a very teeny teeny tiny chip

00:49:17.980 you see it there in the x-ray that should creep you out um the chip is like the ones that are found

00:49:23.980 in smart credit cards or debit cards uh and the chip gets embedded just under your skin and makes your

00:49:29.420 whole hand a credit card it gets inserted into your skin a chip and not the type you eat but a microchip

00:49:36.220 has been implanted in brandon's left hand so after that was inserted and the swelling went down i'm able

00:49:43.740 to open up the front and back door to my house i can walk up to people and have them tap their phone

00:49:49.180 to my hand and instantly transfer my contact information my portfolio my covid vax card the slogan of the

00:49:55.820 antichrist is peace and safety

00:49:58.220 peace and safety cyborgs uh joe allen the book is dark eon it's a tour de force

00:50:06.540 that lays out all of this to people what did i just see well steve that was just a kind of prime

00:50:13.180 the audience to hear that amazon is now rolling out their palm payment system in every whole food

00:50:20.940 store as it turns out you know we covered this uh months ago actually we covered uh the amazon one

00:50:27.980 palm paint palm payment system and a number of other biometric systems uh since i've been on

00:50:33.740 and uh it's always been a question how will it catch on will people actually use it uh right now amazon

00:50:40.380 one palm payment is at three million users apparently that's climbing fast and fast enough for the

00:50:47.020 company to roll out at all whole food stores uh it's being rolled out obviously in panera bread as we

00:50:52.300 heard there it's being rolled out in entertainment venues uh including my own nashville's bridgestone

00:50:59.580 arena uh it's being rolled out in airports and that's just part of a much larger wave of biometric

00:51:07.020 identity being central to access to the goods in society uh that includes uh the uh the eye scan

00:51:16.300 that is used by clear you see that in airports all over the place and those lines are only growing

00:51:21.980 and maybe most insidious steve sam altman's startup world coin which is developing world id

00:51:31.100 which is also an iris scan it's a biometric blockchain based world identification system uh

00:51:38.860 that's intended to be normalized you know across the planet uh it's a slow growing i guess you could

00:51:44.860 say right now it's accumulating membership at about 40 000 per week according to fortune uh when we

00:51:51.340 covered this last month but all of this is to say that the fourth industrial revolution is certainly

00:51:57.580 upon us the convergence of the physical digital and biological worlds uh right now it's a matter of

00:52:05.500 consumer choice do you want to do it or don't you uh but i think that a lot of people in our audience

00:52:10.940 and really across the world realized after covid that things that are optional today may not be

00:52:16.780 optional tomorrow so you have to brace yourself and be ready to push back dark ian is the book how 1.00
