Bannon's War Room - WarRoom Battleground EP 515： Handicapping Trump; Biden's Failure To Campaign

00:00:00.000 this is what you're fighting for I mean every day you're out there what they're doing is blowing

00:00:11.900 people off if you continue to look the other way and shut up then the oppressors the

00:00:18.880 authoritarians get total control and total power because this is just like in Arizona this is just

00:00:24.800 like in Georgia it's another element that backs them into a quarter and shows their lies and

00:00:29.540 misrepresentations is why this audience is going to have to get engaged as we've told you this is

00:00:33.820 the fight all this nonsense all this spin they can't handle the truth war room battleground here's

00:00:40.880 your host Stephen K Bannon okay there's no better way to close out a crazy day for for news it's just

00:00:51.960 been unbelievable then with two of my favorite people Darren Beattie and Dave Brett Darren Beattie

00:00:57.700 founder publisher executive editor of revolver Darren I want to go through a couple things

00:01:04.640 one is President Trump's trial we've had obviously we've got we have this issue with you know the

00:01:12.700 other brag move for contempt today against this unconstitutional gag order the whole way it's

00:01:17.320 being run lawfare give me your perspective on this brother as we're now through day two of this

00:01:24.860 travesty absolutely well it is a travesty and it's almost unbelievable to see this happening in

00:01:32.340 the United States it's really yet another inflection point in the degradation of our legal system and the

00:01:39.460 very concept of a rule of law you know we've been on this from the very beginning we had a very

00:01:44.880 intricate piece detailing all of the contortion the really amazing feat of gymnastics that was required

00:01:54.220 to even concoct this indictment in the first place which you know I'm sure the audience has heard this

00:02:00.720 over and over but it's it wasn't even supposed to be a crime it was past the statute of limitations

00:02:06.900 they had to attach it to another nothing crime even to make it a felony the whole thing is completely 0.54

00:02:13.840 ridiculous it is a sham affirmative action attempt to indict Trump when there's no indictment available

00:02:22.840 and as some have pointed out if Trump you know if there hadn't been a payment from the personal account if it came from the 0.75

00:02:30.580 campaign account we'd be sitting here talking about that so Trump was really in a position that no matter what

00:02:38.740 he would have been indicted and I think given the substance of this ridiculous hush money charge

00:02:45.120 it's worth reminding ourselves a couple of years ago people may have forgotten but it came out that

00:02:50.840 there's a special office within the uh that was set up by the congressional accountability act

00:02:58.300 there's a whole pool of slush money like 17 million dollars for congress to engage in hush payments and in fact

00:03:09.620 i think it came out that something like 17 million dollars was already put to work in various hush payments

00:03:16.800 including sexual harassment cases but of course congressional officials haven't been forthcoming on that

00:03:22.900 and that's coming from the taxpayer money so it's just an amazing thing and by point of contrast that this

00:03:30.340 slush fund exists to pay off um aggrieved parties for various you know sexual cases and

00:03:39.400 others on behalf of congressmen and that's coming from taxpayer money that's fine that can continue

00:03:45.920 on indefinitely and we don't even get to know where our taxpayer money is going in terms of

00:03:51.360 what types of cases they're settling with this and yet in trump's case we get the gymnastics that put him

00:03:58.920 in a position where he's running for president and he has to sit in court and be entangled with this

00:04:04.740 whole mess he puts it perfectly this is election interference if this is an election interference

00:04:11.920 nothing is this is worse than anything the russians have ever done or any kind of foreign 1.00

00:04:17.480 nefarious actor has ever done in our elections this is straight up election interference on the part of

00:04:24.500 the corrupt biden administration no because the way this is playing out now jury selection is going to take a couple

00:04:32.160 weeks this is going to take two or three months we're going to be i believe right now as you see it

00:04:37.100 this this is between the time a jury comes back i think because the best he's going to get is a hung 0.91

00:04:43.260 jury he can't get acquitted it's not not about the facts new york city is ridiculous i don't even know

00:04:47.880 how you get one or two people that prepare to keep an open mind not maga and you're going to have

00:04:52.640 trump haters on there lying about oh no trump's okay i can keep an open mind there they're going to

00:04:59.160 be people that want to say i was the guy that put trump in prison this is one of the problems you

00:05:03.500 got because it's so it's so it's so rigged this thing's going to go through memorial day and that's

00:05:09.240 you're going to be essentially a month away from the convention the republican convention your thoughts

00:05:13.160 darren well i mean it shouldn't be allowed it truly is an election interference play um this is the

00:05:23.300 extracurricular means they're using to go after trump and of course there's a big january 6 case that

00:05:28.680 probably won't make it to trial before the election which is a good thing but this is the

00:05:33.980 extracurricular play that the regime is using last cycle we had exploit covet for massive mail-ins and

00:05:43.640 a lot of funny business going on to say the least in terms of the votes they won't be able to repeat

00:05:49.560 that it looks like at least my fingers are crossed hoping that's the case this is a lawfare

00:05:55.660 election these are the extracurricular tactics of the left and the democrats and biden specifically

00:06:02.520 taking advantage of how corrupt and degraded our legal process has become in order to attempt to

00:06:12.200 win because by doing this to cripple trump it somewhat evens out the fact that biden simply doesn't

00:06:18.220 have the energy or the cognitive capability to really campaign so this is sort of like a way to

00:06:24.120 handicap trump and level the playing field to a degree because biden's simply incapable of campaigning

00:06:30.660 his poll numbers are looking worse and worse and on paper trump is all set up to win so all they have

00:06:38.400 are these extracurricular tactics at this point as they get increasingly desperate

00:06:43.360 but but but we're going on offense today there's a criminal conspiracy here from the biden white

00:06:50.860 house from doj with colangelo we got to put the fire and we're going to put the fire under these

00:06:55.580 feckless uh house members jim jordan the judiciary should be having hearings on this every day they

00:07:01.560 should be calling people in this is a criminal conspiracy a criminal conspiracy to deprive american

00:07:08.180 people of their voting rights this is pure pure lawfare but we have to take action we we now with

00:07:14.780 you and others have made the case of what's going on this is all about action remember the republicans

00:07:19.980 first off the republicans don't want him back they think if he gets beat in november hey it's the end

00:07:25.320 of maga it's the end of darren beady revolver uh war room bannon charlie kirk all these all these maga

00:07:32.080 big talkers right they all go away if trump gets defeated and they want that don't think they don't want

00:07:36.740 it if they didn't want it why would you not have a congressional hearing every day of why the

00:07:42.200 justice department is hardwired and on this case this case was the one that was thrown at by cy vance

00:07:47.200 don jr went through 10 people that avoided this bringing this case up all trump haters not trump

00:07:53.180 allies trump haters that said there's nothing here we can't do that and then after the white house

00:07:58.520 biden's white house and merrick garland's doj uh seconded uh matthew colangelo uh colangelo

00:08:06.600 up to new york that's when things got rolling a guy a eric holder uh you know devotee from the

00:08:13.100 eric holder justice department the marxist justice department of obama and eric holder uh this guy's

00:08:19.280 now a number three guy in justice he goes up there nobody goes from the justice department to manhattan

00:08:25.260 to work in the local da's office that's not a career move that's not only a career arc you're there

00:08:31.260 for a reason the guy's a mercenary he's he's an assassin and that's why he gets sent up there

00:08:35.860 but we have the ability to take action the problem is they don't want to take action why don't they

00:08:40.660 want to take it it's like jd vance came on today you had the lawfare one element but jd as we've

00:08:45.560 talked about this pattern recognition they're passing things on the hill right now to handcuff

00:08:50.700 trump in his second term whether it's nato whether it's a re was the negotiation with the russians

00:08:57.020 on sanctions they're trying to take the power away from america first and mega your thoughts

00:09:02.180 darren beady well i completely agree and jd raises a very important issue with this the tighter the 0.66

00:09:09.760 handcuffs the better from the perspective of these corrupt snakes who have been really doing everything 0.78

00:09:15.400 in their power continuously to undermine trump since trump came on the scene and embarrassed these 0.99

00:09:21.800 people for the corrupt feckless clowns that they are um but this trial i think is particularly 0.97

00:09:29.280 bad it's bad for the country it's bad for rule of law i think we need we need a tat to go with a tit 0.99

00:09:37.060 we need a tit for tat so to speak and there has to be some kind of accountability for brag

00:09:42.600 and you point out people like jim jordan i would appoint a point out people who have statewide jurisdictions

00:09:50.560 need to play a tit for tat indictment game at this point that's i think that's arguably more

00:09:58.140 important than even the jim jordans having the hearings we need to play the indictment game too

00:10:03.720 just to give you a sense of you know bragg's gymnastics in order that type of gymnastics that 0.51

00:10:10.840 made the indictment possible that kind of ridiculous contortion act think about we've talked about

00:10:17.140 doug mackie's case the guy who was um convicted of a felony for a meme there was just one jurisdictional

00:10:23.520 issue there he's being tried in the brooklyn jurisdiction because they claim that the tweet that he sent

00:10:30.200 went over the bridge and therefore it's in brooklyn's jurisdiction if they can make arguments like that 0.96

00:10:37.500 we can make arguments to bring some of these corrupt scumbags into the purview of our jurisdictions 0.94

00:10:45.080 and see how they like it and in fact i think there we need to we have to fight a pressure campaign for 0.95

00:10:51.440 that to happen we are on that already talk about pressure campaigns i want to go back we've got to

00:10:57.880 always be on offense and people have not had a enough of a view of the what i call the pack of feral

00:11:03.400 dogs that are currently usurpers in the white house the residents of the white house right now

00:11:08.320 uh you'd had a brilliant piece on ashley biden's diary which by the way when it first came up years

00:11:14.560 ago i wouldn't touch it i didn't think uh it was it was so salacious i said this can't be true

00:11:20.980 so there's nothing to do here it's some fake thing they're trying to get people up on

00:11:24.580 now that they've sent the woman who her i guess her roommate in a rehab who sold it or tried to sell

00:11:31.240 it to uh o'keefe she's now i guess in prison or been sentenced to prison they're trying they

00:11:36.840 validated that it's true because she could have she could have been uh hit with selling a diary

00:11:43.120 that wasn't i mean this was not the hitler diary to stern magazine a couple of decades ago i guess this

00:11:50.400 is right you guys did the first real breakdown of different things tell me about the ashley biden

00:11:55.940 diary why has it not gotten the oxygen that it so rightly deserves because the american people

00:12:01.120 need to know this they need to read the diary and they need to absorb what it says

00:12:04.720 yes and you know to be honest i don't like talking about this stuff either because it is kind of

00:12:11.460 slimy and degrading even to be aware of it this is somewhat diminishing this is no no this is not my

00:12:20.800 okay people know this is not my line of country right but it's like when they came after president

00:12:25.860 trump with the billy bush thing hey if i if if if the women that trump uh that the clinton 1.00

00:12:30.980 raped if the people that clinton abused and raped want to come forward i'm perfectly willing to say 0.80

00:12:37.640 okay how do i assist and this is this this is not my line of country i didn't touch this years ago 0.95

00:12:42.300 but look if they got trump and now they're going to bring up stormy daniels in the 0.91

00:12:45.900 miss december and this is what they're going to do then we got to drill down and say okay well let's

00:12:51.460 let's have a full picture here let's let's what's good for the goose is better for the gander

00:12:55.540 so let's i this is i don't like doing this it's not my deal but hey you know this we got to do it

00:13:01.560 because it's required to do it because the american people need to see a full picture

00:13:06.020 of this pack of feral dogs that live in the white house yes and if we're going to do it we might as

00:13:12.780 well say what's what's in the diary uh my understanding is this woman she didn't steal the 0.99

00:13:18.560 diary my understanding i could be wrong but i think that she purchased the house and the diary was in

00:13:24.860 the house so she she definitely didn't steal it she just found it um through kind of legal

00:13:30.700 channels and this diary has been floating around for a while and subject of a lot of rumor and

00:13:37.960 speculation and apparently they've confirmed that the diary itself is authentic doesn't necessarily mean

00:13:45.020 that the claims in the diary are authentic but the diary seems to be authentic and the diary has a lot

00:13:50.680 weird stuff about taking showers um uh joe biden taking showers uh with uh family members stuff of a

00:14:00.560 kind of uh sexual nature seems to be suggested there so uncomfortable and bizarre content in this diary

00:14:09.720 and for whatever reason i think we can speculate uh have engage in informed speculation for whatever

00:14:17.100 reason the woman who obtained this diary is now the subject of um criminal persecution so it's an

00:14:27.100 interesting uh pattern to be sure and underscores at the very least how um bizarre and dysfunctional

00:14:36.700 um the biden family really is well but they you've got the problem with the laptop of which the

00:14:46.540 apparatus came out said oh no this is russian different disinformation but that was a lie

00:14:50.620 because we now know that we now know the the information all on there and there's some

00:14:55.900 very you know awful stuff in there that's never come to light right now you've got this diary

00:15:01.720 and they've essentially confirmed that the diaries the diary of of his daughter with uh jill

00:15:09.980 biden it's the diary of his daughter and the pages of the diary i just you know people should go and

00:15:16.100 read the diary the diary is about as shocking as you can possibly get but it's it's his justice

00:15:22.020 department his fbi that essentially went through the validation process am i incorrect on that

00:15:27.780 bd i mean they're the ones that validated that this thing is now a document in the public that

00:15:33.700 should be reviewed by the public yes i believe that the diary has been authenticated but i point out

00:15:41.460 that doesn't necessarily mean that what it presents is the truth because my understanding is there's some

00:15:48.320 there's mental some mental problems with uh with the person who wrote it so who knows but it definitely

00:15:55.300 confirms yes a lot of dysfunction and ugliness uh going on in that family which is unfortunate i feel bad

00:16:03.340 for it uh but it's you know a recurring dynamic that we see um and that's just that's just the

00:16:13.400 nature of things and i feel by the way the presidential election people should probably know about it the

00:16:19.240 girls had the the girls had issues the girls had issues right and people got to take that into account

00:16:25.080 but there's two things i mean joe biden wanders around now like she's america's mother

00:16:29.480 you know she's gonna be this public she's the public school teacher and this is where we get 0.99

00:16:33.920 into the at the laptop and others she has certain responsibilities legal responsibilities

00:16:39.760 in the state of delaware as an educator by a law that the biden the biden family passed that has the

00:16:46.500 name i think of the son on it so she has certain legal requirements she has to do about the reporting 0.96

00:16:52.500 of certain issues and if she's going to walk around and politicize her role not as first lady 1.00

00:16:57.800 she's going around and she's the biggest attack dog on president trump remember two weeks ago

00:17:02.400 she's in a full-out attack on president trump if you're going to get in the arena then you're going 0.98

00:17:07.200 to get in the arena right like i said this is not our line of country but people should read this

00:17:11.280 diary and take into account that her daughter has had big issues and have had to go into these kind

00:17:18.080 of treatment centers before etc and people should weigh that but if you're going to come out and attack

00:17:22.700 president trump and particularly if you're going to send the number three guy in the justice department

00:17:26.760 up there because this is not about a bookkeeping issue the bookkeeping issue had to have four

00:17:32.020 levels of jujitsu even even partially qualified this is all about getting stormy daniels and miss 0.99

00:17:40.620 december the playmate whatever she is and uh and and to go back to my uh old billy bush weekend they

00:17:48.460 can't get the video in there but the judge is going to let the whole transcript be read to the jury

00:17:52.280 right so you see what deal they're running this is what they're running if you want to do was always 0.98

00:17:59.700 so stupid like i couldn't believe that that was really a scandal to begin with and i think you know 0.95

00:18:05.880 i hope that people don't forget the billy bush because people people might say why why would you 0.99

00:18:10.700 want to bring that up that's so embarrassing it's really not embarrassing at all what's embarrassing 0.90

00:18:14.920 about the billy bush case was how many weak and useless republicans were willing to fold in a 0.91

00:18:21.800 nanosecond when it came out that's what does that's what's disgusting and i still i think and i know you 0.94

00:18:28.300 obviously were one of the strong ones who said forget this and let's move forward and you know the rest is 0.63

00:18:35.020 history as i say but so many people weak and useless and corrupt people who have collapsed or worse

00:18:42.900 things like that in their closets i guarantee you these people were saying that's that's not who we 0.80

00:18:50.800 are oh that's offensive oh that's this is that it disgusts me that kind of weakness disgusts me and i

00:18:58.820 think you know i hope that trump remembers who was on what side he remembers but it's such a good

00:19:07.400 Hebrew members you're made of yeah what are you made of it's that's an honest moment how you reacted 0.99

00:19:14.860 to billy bush is what you're made of no it's it's a it's a it's a test all the rnc people dropped 0.96

00:19:22.760 they all ran away paul ryan ran away mcconnell all of they all dumped that mike pence they all dumped

00:19:28.940 trump you know mike pence sent him a letter and and pence was angling for condi rice him they they

00:19:34.440 pitched trump stepping down i said have you lost your mind people losing the country do you think

00:19:39.880 workers out in ohio care about locker room talk i actually said locker room banter it was trump to

00:19:45.380 correct me no no no it's not banter it's talk right it's it's come on man the country's the country

00:19:51.580 you're destroyed now it's 10x worse it's 10x worse they don't care about stormy daniels they don't care

00:19:57.480 about miss december are you going to bring up they're going to reprise the greatest hits of hillary

00:20:01.920 clinton this is what we're going to do if you want to do that we'll fight fire with fire

00:20:06.300 you need to come on let's go we don't need to talk about we're going to talk about capital markets and

00:20:11.080 inability to sell your treasury bills because of the massive deficit you're running and how that's

00:20:16.040 baked into inflation and you're destroying the working class and middle class in this country

00:20:20.080 then we go out of our way to explain that every day but hey if you want to do some wet work here let's

00:20:25.300 if you want to get nasty and get down in it we'll get as deep joanne joanne reid said that her best

00:20:32.520 line ever they were talking about something and they go well don't you follow michelle obama when

00:20:39.000 they go low we go high she goes no when they go low i go to the core of the earth right i'm kind of

00:20:44.700 that's the first thing she said a long first thing joanne said in a long time i agree with

00:20:49.040 that's a great one i go to the core of the earth uh darren beady i know i gotta bounce but i know

00:20:54.540 you're you're a first amendment absolutist and you actually are not like you're not when you fanboy

00:21:01.420 for elon musk who's who's not an absolutist but you're making a case that ban and you guys are too

00:21:07.880 hard on this palestinian movement on campus because if you push to get these tight tighter laws on there

00:21:15.840 they're really going to use it against mag explain your position on this sir yes a really important

00:21:20.680 piece that's out and addresses um some of the i think misplaced enthusiasm that you see in certain

00:21:27.160 quarters on the right not you know not you it's um there's this activist called uh khan talia khan

00:21:36.380 who's sort of trying to position herself as the new barry weiss and going on this crusade against 0.99

00:21:42.180 these various universities and so forth and where it's coming from is totally understandable but i think

00:21:49.260 the pressure that's exerted on universities has to respect the following critical distinction

00:21:57.220 acts of disruption by these palestinian activists by these protesters there should be a zero tolerance 1.00

00:22:07.980 policy for any acts of disruption and disruptive acts and violent threats are frankly part of the dna

00:22:17.260 of any left-wing activist mobilization and the palestinian stuff is no exception there should be 1.00

00:22:26.780 zero tolerance for that in fact expulsion on the spot is what i would advocate that undermines the

00:22:34.160 environment of free speech and open discourse that should thrive if anywhere on university campuses

00:22:40.680 what i'm concerned about and what i would push back on is when people like this talia khan and others

00:22:48.200 virginia fox who's um on one of the committees exploring these things when they start to appropriate

00:22:56.160 the language of the left and talk about speech codes and talk about creating a safe environment not a safe

00:23:03.960 environment from actual violent threats but just if i feel bad therefore your speech needs to be

00:23:10.460 corrected that aspect which has become an increasingly um prominent part of this push i think that needs to

00:23:19.400 go entirely uh one out of principle but the practical reason is if we shoehorn all of these sort of new

00:23:28.760 speech codes they're only going to be used to restrict speech or conservatives the few left on these

00:23:37.800 campuses in a critical election year there's no reason for that everything can be accomplished simply by

00:23:46.200 saying if you're violent or disruptive you're out immediately but you know what if if there's a speaker

00:23:54.200 who's talking about palestinian stuff that's offensive have your own speaker and this time your speaker won't

00:24:00.700 get disrupted because there should be a zero tolerance policy and that really maximizes the accommodation of

00:24:08.660 speech and it serves to restrict the nefarious and frankly disgusting activity of some of these

00:24:16.700 left-wing and palestinian protesters what i don't want to see is people going and taking this fake victory 0.70

00:24:24.040 of shoving in new speech codes only to have it loop back around and guess what there's still more

00:33:07.980 it's quite obvious they're having a tough time selling treasury securities and the reason is

00:33:12.960 these massive deficits plus what they're doing about the u.s dollar i mean why would you want to

00:33:18.780 get stuck holding a lot of this stuff when you don't want the biden regime you have no earthy idea

00:33:23.380 what they're going to do except for the fact they're going to have massive spending of money

00:33:28.500 dave bratt take it away sir yeah well uh you've done an outstanding job along with birch gold

00:33:34.620 getting all the uh fundamental points out on what it means to have a fiat currency uh let me show you

00:33:40.020 a shocker if denver's got the uh yellow and gray line graph ready to rock and roll if they can pop

00:33:46.700 that graph up this uh is uh gonna make it real hard uh for treasury uh to sell their bonds right so it's

00:33:55.060 already hard enough with inflation expectations and the latest cpi print and the ppi print uh going up

00:34:02.800 uh but those are nothing compared to what this chart show this is from larry summers right whiz kid

00:34:09.220 harvard uh president of harvard university head of the world bank uh co-author with three uh other

00:34:16.020 harvard folks this chart uh says larry's saying that yellow line is the current trend that we're on

00:34:22.940 right now and he says it looks a lot like it's matching that gray uh bar on the on above it and uh

00:34:31.420 if denver can pivot that a little bit to the left on it but you you can see that gray bar goes straight

00:34:36.520 up to the roof following so summers is right and that's the trajectory we're on the historical

00:34:42.960 trajectory we're on that yellow line is starting to move up again and it's going to go way up uh let

00:34:49.560 me give you uh the the upshot hang on hang on whoa whoa whoa hang on hang on hang on hang oh slow

00:34:55.860 down yeah we have a vast podcast audience and a huge radio audience i want to go back to that chart

00:35:01.060 and explain what and this this is why you need to go to worm.org and get our nightly

00:35:06.080 command uh our command brief we have all the segments they typed up we have all the charts

00:35:12.820 but you need to see this but in in case they don't do that explain to them what this chart shows because

00:35:17.520 it's pretty explosive sir yeah and and you know on this show i have been giving the economist

00:35:25.160 profession a hard time they deserve it all uh larry summers was one of the few guys uh back a couple

00:35:31.140 years ago that said inflation is not transitory he got it right the rest of the profession got it wrong

00:35:37.280 the war room has had the story right the whole time uh if denver wants to put up that chart for

00:35:43.020 the folks who can see it uh but basically uh what that chart shows is the series uh from the 60s to the

00:35:50.840 80s early 80s uh our current trajectory is following that path very closely we just went way up we had

00:36:00.460 inflation go up to nine and then come way back down now it's down to three and a half but going back up

00:36:06.000 to four uh and what larry summers the cycle uh back in the early 80s goes straight up through the roof

00:36:13.340 next so the the idea that you know that the fed is the the maestro you know they're perfect performers

00:36:20.880 uh micro fine-tuning our economy that's laughable now it's a total joke after their performance over

00:36:27.060 the couple decades but summers with three harvard heavyweights uh all major names in the profession

00:36:33.240 uh assigned their names to this article and that article also shows uh that back when we thought

00:36:39.520 inflation was nine it was actually 18 percent but now that we think it's four it's actually

00:36:47.220 eight percent and again larry summers does this is not just some punch hold it hold it hold it

00:36:53.320 that correct slow slow down slow down yes correct me if i'm wrong this is this is also the um this is

00:37:01.300 also uh the one that you can't get anymore they put it up and it was available and now all of a sudden

00:37:06.360 they've taken it down or hidden it you can't you can't okay the reason is it's so explosive remember

00:37:12.440 summers has been secretary of the treasury he's been head of the nec both uh clinton and obama uh i want

00:37:20.140 to walk through i want you to go back and make the case of the not not nine percent but 18 this is what

00:37:24.860 worm is saying they validate they said hey those things that the msnbc and cnbc were pushing

00:37:30.260 were suckers plays this is really 18 percent and now it's eight percent walk me through because 0.77

00:37:36.040 they know they're freaked out because summers and the harvard of commas put it on because you can't

00:37:41.060 find this now right it's it went to the it went to the down the memory hole yeah and you can go google

00:37:47.860 it there's an nber uh working paper that has the full paper but it's very hard to read right they put

00:37:54.940 it out in a couple popular pieces behind paywalls but the left hasn't covered it at all because it is

00:38:00.540 explosive so it it shows roughly everywhere along the current path for the past four years inflation

00:38:07.240 is twice what was reported right and so ej and i we're economists we try to be careful we don't like

00:38:14.260 just making stuff up so we didn't go you know hey we've got you know four thousand percent inflation

00:38:18.900 we we reported what the government was saying is that we think it's higher there's reason to believe

00:38:23.020 it's higher larry summers comes out with the reason for that the reason is higher is we no longer

00:38:27.740 calculate inflation the way we used to we used to include the interest cost of buying a house

00:38:34.340 along with the price of the house which makes a lot of sense right so it's a little different the

00:38:39.240 price you pay your mortgage every month if the interest rate is three versus if it's eight or nine

00:38:44.880 which it is now and so same with a car payment so they're now excluding the full price of a house

00:38:51.720 and a car which are the two big pieces of your consumer puzzle right and so he says due to those

00:38:58.700 adjustments and a few others that they make uh inflation is double what we thought it wasn't

00:39:03.680 nine percent at the peak it was 18 it's not four now it's roughly eight and the double figure just

00:39:09.960 comes up all over his paper double double double double so it's kind of consistent and then i hate to

00:39:15.220 you know blow an even bigger bubble but go back to that graph i just said what happens next uh those

00:39:22.920 numbers are at the old numbers right so we're we're thinking we're at four right now put the graph

00:39:28.180 denver denver put the graph back up you can take my lovely photo split it yeah get the graph walk me

00:39:34.520 through why this graph is laying the predicate for something that's going to happen even worse

00:39:39.640 yes so go to the far right of the yellow line right so that's inflation present inflation and it's at

00:39:46.960 say four well according to summers et al it's at eight percent now and what's it getting ready to do

00:39:54.680 go straight up the mountain right and so that's a stunning combination that graph that uh inflation is

00:40:02.780 double what has been reported because it excluded the full cost of housing and cars and the interest

00:40:09.420 expense which you know went the fed went from zero to five so every other interest rate in the economy

00:40:15.200 follows and went up by plus five right so your mortgage went from three to eight or nine or whatever

00:40:19.980 uh plus the new risk inherent in this crazy economy so not only is inflation double what you thought it

00:40:27.040 was it has a a probability of going straight up higher right now due to what the debt and so if uh if

00:40:36.860 denver wants to put up the next chart we have uh this will explain that you know the setup you've

00:40:42.340 been covering this steve forever the one prior to that the it's chart one on denver it's the uh

00:40:48.040 u.s federal spending's at the top of it uh with a red line going right down the middle uh the uh the u.s

00:40:55.060 federal spending this this chart was put together by tony perkins he put together the best chart

00:40:59.760 and roughly uh it just shows uh that prior to covid our budgets were four trillion uh you know going up

00:41:07.740 a hair four point uh couple but after covid our budgets now are 6.5 to 7 trillion dollars and we

00:41:17.100 have never gone back and so never let a crisis go to waste that new seven trillion dollar government

00:41:24.120 budget is putting huge pressure uh like you said yeah that's the right one denver and uh and so

00:41:30.440 that's putting huge pressure on interest rates the bad the federal reserve has to turn over about

00:41:35.960 eight trillion dollars in debt just this year at the new higher interest rates that we've been talking

00:41:42.040 about and so uh all right people if if if they become aware of larry summers and they already know

00:41:48.840 in their lived experience inflation is high and going up who's going to want to lock into a five

00:41:54.140 percent treasury uh if inflation is going to go past 10 you're going to you're going to lose five

00:41:59.900 percent automatically yeah okay slow down this is my point is this is why they put the chart back up

00:42:06.340 guys we don't and just hear my lovely voice um this is the conundrum they've got the conundrum 1.00

00:42:13.960 they've got and this is why these idiots in the house i don't know why they don't step in and have 0.99

00:42:19.940 an intervention it is the remember the people that buy this in mass and i'm not talking about 1.00

00:42:27.980 citizens out there that may buy a church i'm saying the big institutional buyers which would be

00:42:33.060 not just insurance companies and investment houses that that do this for a living and make sure that you

00:42:39.460 are buying you know tax-free bonds or or whatever but also governments foreign governments they can

00:42:48.200 run the numbers all their guys went to stanford and to harvard they can run the numbers they

00:42:52.080 understand what summers is talking about and it's not just as bad as that chart says they're seeing

00:42:59.460 right now because remember where we are in the process people for the current year we're in for the

00:43:04.780 budget we have to have by september 30th is you have to have a top line number they can't come to

00:43:09.860 agreement on the top line number because the deficit hawks and the debt hawks of which war room

00:43:14.740 posse and dave uh bratt in the war room and the economists that come on here and the financiers

00:43:20.360 we're super hawks the the moderates the rhinos and the and the radical democrats democrats just want

00:43:27.660 to spend like crazy you can't even come to a top line number but even coming close to that top line

00:43:32.380 number they're never going to give us the cuts we want it's going to have over three and a half

00:43:36.300 dollar deficit no matter what they bs and spin on some kind of made-up numbers the capital markets

00:43:42.080 will understand that my point this is not going to get better it's going to get dramatically worse

00:43:47.820 is it not dave bratt i mean now we have structural issues that are not going to get unwind with some

00:43:54.640 magic wand they're out there sir dave bratt yeah yeah yeah denver go to chart two it says debt

00:44:01.520 under the house 2024 budget resolution and right there that one pop that one up this is what steve

00:44:08.760 just got done saying here's the happy talk out of the house for the past 20 years in a row hey we're

00:44:15.020 uh fiscal hawks uh america you can trust republicans see that blue line up at the top it's going up to

00:44:21.120 115 percent of gdp debt to gdp we're not going to let that happen we're the adults in the room we're

00:44:28.320 the party of fiscal sanity we have our budget the next 10-year budget window and we're cutting

00:44:34.120 spending so much it's going down to only 70 percent of gdp of course that's never happened

00:44:39.600 and all the wimps the next chart you can just skip but it's the same chart put together by the house

00:44:44.620 study committee it's called 170 republicans out of 220 all get behind this heroic uh instruments

00:44:52.520 and we're going to cut spending it's the same chart you just see right there we're going to cut it

00:44:56.100 way down 10 years out and then not only do they have the gall to put that out and say we're behind

00:45:02.720 this they vote for the seven trillion dollar pelosi budget after they sign their names to this thing

00:45:08.660 so it's an ethics problem down front it's an integrity problem and it's a christian problem yes

00:45:14.160 yes and then the last chart i just want to go back to that skip the next hang on yeah hang on

00:45:20.700 before you go to that i just want to stay on this point remember the 100 you cross the 100 line

00:45:27.780 it's the point of no return rogoff and the harvard guys have done this because every government that's

00:45:33.780 ever done it they always have the same phrase well this time it's totally different and they make the

00:45:38.840 case and rogoff and these guys went back to all of human history that you actually had some of this

00:45:44.240 they go well actually it's not you actually technically when you cross that line you never

00:45:49.720 recover your your your currency gets destroyed your credibility gets destroyed your capital

00:45:55.000 markets get destroyed eventually guess who gets destroyed the most it's not the elite it would be

00:46:00.400 the little guy right gets wiped out every time and this is where we are again and they did it in the

00:46:05.660 most sanctimonious way we are hawks we are fiscal conservatives you know you hear every guy running on a

00:46:11.760 balanced budget even when they do the balanced budgets it's like uh we get to balance in 10

00:46:16.700 years i go dude if it's not down front in a big down payment then it's happy talk because it never

00:46:22.080 happens right and that's you say they come back and vote for the 7.3 trillion dollar spending down

00:46:28.100 front or pelosi plus 30 right give me pelosi's budget plus 30 dave brad continue on yeah last

00:46:35.340 denver denver did a great job putting together chart four uh the ukraine uh spending the emergency

00:46:40.900 measures uh if denver wants to pull that up and by the way uh you can have some confidence in what

00:46:47.120 i'm saying war room when i was in there uh my budget chairman tom price and uh congress marsha black

00:46:53.720 who are great great people but i was in detention every day i got kicked out of class in that budget room

00:47:00.380 every day i was in trouble because i i just went after this stuff now to make matters worse

00:47:06.460 the numbers you saw there seven trillion dollar uh government spending 2.5 trillion dollar deficits

00:47:13.820 but on top of that now uh the the congress is going to go for this ukraine play right these are

00:47:21.100 supplemental spendings over and above the bankruptcy we're already in and i list five things here that

00:47:28.120 are in the biden administration notes uh that if we pass the ukraine funding bill here's what you're

00:47:34.320 going to get along with it because they say hey you just funded a principle for ukraine where we have

00:47:40.380 no national interest and so let's spread the wealth even more so just read these with me right funding

00:47:46.780 to protect populations worldwide that are impacted by ukraine that's in biden's in the white house's

00:47:53.300 language to provide a credible alternative chinese lending and infrastructure problems sounds like a good

00:47:59.240 idea to me except we're bankrupt three fight the destabling activities of wagner and other russian 0.98

00:48:04.260 malign actors in africa that that's great wish we could do that uh four take quick action to fund all

00:48:10.900 of our partners whatever nebulous thing that means fund our partners and five defend strategic interests

00:48:17.120 in indo-pacific and so we're at these are existential times our budget it's no time for republicans to say

00:48:24.980 we're going to come out for cuts we want some cuts that link we need to go to zero base budgeting

00:48:30.140 start at zero cut the defense budget probably by at least a third right get rid of it everybody knows

00:48:36.660 we're just paying for redundant programs in every state so politicians can get reelected get rid of 0.91

00:48:41.500 all of it and then add back that third for our real strategic needs uh linked to taiwan uh and the and

00:48:49.260 the uh existence of the united states of america hold it hold it yeah i'm the i'm the biggest i'm the

00:48:54.320 biggest hawk when it comes down taking the ccp i want to take them down yeah apply economic and 1.00

00:48:59.260 political warfare to the chinese communist party if you put if you apply if you cut them off from

00:49:04.000 our capital markets because the lords of easy money want to make money if you cut them off from that

00:49:08.460 you cut them off from trade you cut them off from technology lao baijing overthrows them in 100 days 0.96

00:49:14.160 cut cut off their oxygen and they're nothing right but this whole thing now of a trillion dollars

00:49:19.900 we're going to be everywhere think about it for a second folks we're going to have you to the

00:49:24.500 ramparts to kill the rule because they're trying to lay on a hundred billion dollar a hundred billion 1.00

00:49:31.260 dollar supplemental when the ink's not dry on a trillion dollars defense budget this is the

00:49:37.460 supplemental this is another dc scam dave bratt yeah and in the summary the last slide uh it just

00:49:44.440 kind of carries on this so those are theoretical things the biden administration wants and if you

00:49:49.980 fund ukraine it's logical they'll ask for infinitely more uh here's the current spending we've already

00:49:55.500 done if you want to read it with me and if denver wants to put up that chart five uh you can read it

00:50:00.960 along with me uh on top of the ukraine spending already over the past 10 years congress has spent more

00:50:06.120 than 1.3 trillion on supplemental emergency bills so when you can rely on regularly having to spend

00:50:15.960 a trillion on emergencies they're no longer emergencies add in emergency designations from

00:50:21.960 regular appropriations bills pay go emergency bills and the 10-year total cost rises to an inflation

00:50:27.940 adjusted seven trillion dollars more than it's that that's it seven trillion in emergency spending is

00:50:36.380 more than the entire federal budget so the emergency piece over 10 years seven trillion on top of i want

00:50:44.100 seven trillion budgets as far as the eye can see we're bankrupt folks sorry yeah uh beyond bankrupt uh dave
